#3 - Call to Sonship - Of Sons. Daughters and Slaves
The Spirit of God in the believer confirms the believer’s sonship/daughtership. How does He do this? He cries “Abba Father” (Gal 4:6 TPT). The word “Abba” is the Aramaic word for “father.” It is also found in Mark 14:36 when Jesus used the same words to describe God when He was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. It is amazing that in the middle of the greatest temptation and challenges, Jesus continued to call God Abba. Abba is a word of devotion and a term of endearment.
