- 2:07Speaker 5: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Ain't
- 2:11Speaker 5: God been good to me? But then again, ain't he
- 2:14Speaker 5: been good to you?
- 2:15Speaker 2: Two? Though?
- 2:16Speaker 5: I mean really, man, think of all the blessings God
- 2:19Speaker 5: has given you, you know what. That's a good news
- 2:22Speaker 5: today though, y'all. In the face of the world being
- 2:26Speaker 5: the way it is, the evilness that's out there, it
- 2:29Speaker 5: just it just seems like that's all that's on the
- 2:31Speaker 5: news sometimes. You know, we got we got news of
- 2:34Speaker 5: parents not really standing up being parents. We got news
- 2:37Speaker 5: stories of children turning on their parents. You got, you
- 2:41Speaker 5: got everything, the economy, you got places you thought used
- 2:45Speaker 5: to be beautiful places to go, Now they got travel alerts.
- 2:48Speaker 2: It's just it's all over us. It's it's all over.
- 2:51Speaker 2: But the good news is.
- 2:54Speaker 5: There's something that you can have in this relationship with
- 2:59Speaker 5: God that gives you a way to deal with it all.
- 3:05Speaker 5: And I'm not saying that it'll protect you from every
- 3:08Speaker 5: single thing out there that is happening, because some things
- 3:10Speaker 5: are going to happen to you. You're going to be
- 3:14Speaker 5: in an accident from time to time. You're going to
- 3:16Speaker 5: make a mistake and fall down from time to time.
- 3:19Speaker 5: But man, wouldn't it be incredible to you for you
- 3:23Speaker 5: if you understood that you had some insurance in all
- 3:26Speaker 5: of this that no matter what happened to you, you
- 3:30Speaker 5: know you will covered. You know, look, insurance companies as
- 3:33Speaker 5: good as they are, you know, like our friends that
- 3:35Speaker 5: stay Farm or any other insurance company you know they do,
- 3:40Speaker 5: they do some amazing things. Insurance is a really, really
- 3:42Speaker 5: good thing to happen in the event that something happens
- 3:45Speaker 5: to you.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You know, you may not want to pay the premium,
- 3:48Speaker 2: but guess what in.
- 3:49Speaker 5: The event that something happens to you, that insurance is
- 3:52Speaker 5: absolutely critical. Well, but guess what they cover certain things.
- 3:57Speaker 5: You could get life insurance, you can get auto insurance,
- 4:01Speaker 5: you can get accident insurance.
- 4:03Speaker 2: You can get health insurance.
- 4:05Speaker 5: There is nothing that you can buy to safeguard you
- 4:10Speaker 5: against life's decisions.
- 4:13Speaker 2: You know, if you make a mistake, if you cheat,
- 4:18Speaker 2: if you lie, if.
- 4:20Speaker 5: You if you fall down and you can't seem to
- 4:23Speaker 5: get it together, and you make a crazy decision about
- 4:26Speaker 5: how you're gonna go about securing an income.
- 4:29Speaker 2: That there are There are no policies you can buy
- 4:32Speaker 2: for that.
- 4:33Speaker 5: You can't buy a policy if you stop being the
- 4:37Speaker 5: man you're supposed to be, and and and and give
- 4:40Speaker 5: up on your children. You can't buy a policy if
- 4:44Speaker 5: something happens as a mother and all of a sudden
- 4:46Speaker 5: you're not the mother you're supposed to be. But there
- 4:50Speaker 5: is some insurance coverage out there for you. And that
- 4:54Speaker 5: relationship that you form with God, that friendship that you
- 4:58Speaker 5: form with him, that that alliance, that partnership, that prayer
- 5:04Speaker 5: that you put in all the time, there is an
- 5:08Speaker 5: insurance policy that you have taken out when you form
- 5:12Speaker 5: a relationship with your heavenly father, when you form a friendship,
- 5:16Speaker 5: when you form a bond that protects you, that protects
- 5:21Speaker 5: you when these things happen. In the event that they happen,
- 5:25Speaker 5: now here's The great thing about prayer. Prayer can head
- 5:29Speaker 5: off some stuff from happening. It really really can. Prayer
- 5:33Speaker 5: can prevent some things from happening. You know, I'll give
- 5:36Speaker 5: you an example in my life. Okay, here we go,
- 5:39Speaker 5: because see, see's the best way for me to do it.
- 5:41Speaker 5: Because see, what I don't like to do is talk
- 5:44Speaker 5: to people without letting them know. Hey, look I'm in
- 5:46Speaker 5: this hole with you. I feel where yet? Okay, here
- 5:49Speaker 5: we go. I was making some decisions a few years
- 5:54Speaker 5: ago because what I thought I was doing was counterbalancing
- 5:59Speaker 5: something that was happening in my life. You know, I
- 6:02Speaker 5: thought that since I wasn't happy or well for whatever
- 6:08Speaker 5: the reason I thought I wasn't happy, if I, as
- 6:10Speaker 5: wrong as I am, wanted to blame somebody else from
- 6:13Speaker 5: my unhappiness, that's really If I make a bad decision
- 6:18Speaker 5: because I'm thinking I'm unhappy with somebody, Holy pardon too.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Wrongs don't make it right, and I make a decision
- 6:25Speaker 5: to do something wrong, and now the consequences come when
- 6:29Speaker 5: I do something wrong. See, then that I already know,
- 6:33Speaker 5: as an intelligent thinking man, as most of you are,
- 6:37Speaker 5: that when you do something wrong, that you know there
- 6:40Speaker 5: is a consequence for that, I teach that to my sons.
- 6:44Speaker 5: When you do something wrong, there is a consequence. So
- 6:46Speaker 5: as an adult, I fully understood the consequence. And so
- 6:50Speaker 5: what I was doing was I was making some decisions
- 6:53Speaker 5: that was causing some consequences in my life, that was
- 6:56Speaker 5: delaying my happiness, delaying my progress, causing my business not
- 7:01Speaker 5: to go the way it could go, so forth and
- 7:04Speaker 5: so on. Well, what I started doing was I took
- 7:07Speaker 5: out this insurance policy called Prayer, and I started putting
- 7:11Speaker 5: it in my mix on a daily basis. And then
- 7:13Speaker 5: I started putting it in my mix, you know, two
- 7:15Speaker 5: three times a day. And then I found myself using
- 7:19Speaker 5: it all the time. And then I really started putting
- 7:22Speaker 5: it in when I didn't need any help, when I
- 7:24Speaker 5: wasn't in trouble, I started putting insurance in. I started
- 7:28Speaker 5: making deposits into the bank. I started paying my premiums down.
- 7:32Speaker 5: And Prayer is like a premium, you just pay into it.
- 7:36Speaker 5: Then when situations started coming up, now that Prayer that
- 7:41Speaker 5: I had put in, that in those premiums I had
- 7:43Speaker 5: paid it started preventing me from making the decisions I
- 7:47Speaker 5: was making in the past. Thus I didn't have to
- 7:51Speaker 5: suffer the consequences. Thus, my businesses didn't have to be
- 7:55Speaker 5: delayed in this progress because I had put some payments
- 7:58Speaker 5: on some premiums. I had taken out an insurance policy
- 8:02Speaker 5: with my life, my real life. I'm talking about your
- 8:06Speaker 5: life where you make your day to day decisions in
- 8:09Speaker 5: I'm not talking about see life insurance is only good
- 8:12Speaker 5: if you die. God has a policy that's available that's
- 8:16Speaker 5: available for you. Why are you living?
- 8:19Speaker 4: See?
- 8:20Speaker 2: In order for an insurance policy to pay, something bad
- 8:23Speaker 2: got to happen.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Now.
- 8:25Speaker 2: There may be some others out there I don't know
- 8:27Speaker 2: nothing about, but all the.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Ones I got my car insurance, they only come into
- 8:32Speaker 5: play if I have an accident. I have an accident
- 8:35Speaker 5: insurance policy where if something happens to me, I got accident,
- 8:39Speaker 5: I got My voice is covered in case something happened
- 8:43Speaker 5: to that. I got that, but I got to not
- 8:45Speaker 5: be able to talk to cash that one. You understand
- 8:49Speaker 5: everything I got homeowner's insurance. Don't nothing show up on
- 8:53Speaker 5: my homeowner's insurance unless it's a flood, a fire, of felt.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Something bad got to happen for my insurance to even
- 9:02Speaker 5: make sense. When you take out the policy with your
- 9:07Speaker 5: heavenly Father, when you pay the premiums of prayer, and
- 9:10Speaker 5: that's all it costs.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Man, It ain't you.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Ain't got to have no money for this policy I
- 9:16Speaker 5: put into the policy. It pays me dividends and benefits
- 9:22Speaker 5: for living. Ain't nothing got to go wrong for me
- 9:26Speaker 5: to cash in on this policy. I use this policy
- 9:31Speaker 5: for good things. I give you example. I use this
- 9:36Speaker 5: policy to ask God to watch over my family when
- 9:39Speaker 5: I travel, make the decisions to pay your premiums in prayer.
- 9:43Speaker 5: Talk to your heavenly Father, get you some insurance in
- 9:46Speaker 5: your life. And when you have little things like that,
- 9:49Speaker 5: keep on stepping.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Man.
- 9:50Speaker 2: God loves you.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Man, Man, I show hope you talk to God today
- 9:54Speaker 5: because guess what He shure would like to hear from you.
- 9:56Speaker 2: That's for sure.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Ship.

- 10:32Speaker 5: wouldn't know until it was the break of dawn. That's
- 10:35Speaker 5: why they call it the Morning Show Steve Harvey on
- 10:39Speaker 5: the radio.

- 11:08Speaker 5: They that's not my skill set. I know that, you know,

- 17:14Speaker 2: Okay?
- 17:14Speaker 4: Are you able to come downstairs right now?
- 17:16Speaker 12: No?
- 17:17Speaker 3: I can't.

- 17:52Speaker 15: car is gone?
- 17:52Speaker 14: My car is gone?
- 17:54Speaker 15: Is that what you're telling me right now? Somebody your
- 17:56Speaker 15: company and work my car?
- 17:59Speaker 4: Well, well, we're looking on every floor and we're trying

- 18:05Speaker 4: he's gone and we're we're that's why we called to
- 18:08Speaker 4: get your number.
- 18:08Speaker 15: In car somewhere else. Man, what the do you mean?
- 18:11Speaker 15: Do I have a car or not? That my car?

- 22:29Speaker 11: and Kim Kay and Lewis Hamilton, her race car driver,
- 22:33Speaker 11: have gone public with their relationship.
- 22:35Speaker 1: That is all coming up at the top of the hour.
- 22:38Speaker 12: But right now it is time to ask the CLO

- 22:44Speaker 1: This is from Marissa and Harlem.
- 22:46Speaker 12: Marissa writes, I'm forty six and I love a man
- 22:49Speaker 12: that's not emotionally available. We do everything that a couple does,
- 22:53Speaker 12: but he disappears sometimes. In his defense, he said he
- 22:57Speaker 12: doesn't want a relationship. I am hoping to change his mind.
- 23:01Speaker 12: He is fifty eight. Am I wasting my time?
- 23:04Speaker 2: All of it?
- 23:05Speaker 5: Come on, wasting all he He's told you he don't
- 23:08Speaker 5: want a relationship. You're going to change his mind with what?
- 23:13Speaker 4: What?
- 23:13Speaker 5: You gonna change his mind with some sex? He getting
- 23:16Speaker 5: that from you, and he don't want it some days,
- 23:19Speaker 5: so he disappeared. So you can take that because you
- 23:22Speaker 5: ain't the only.
- 23:23Speaker 2: One with it now.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and what do women always think, Steve, that we
- 23:28Speaker 1: can change a man?
- 23:30Speaker 5: Because every woman thinks that they got something that's better
- 23:33Speaker 5: than the other woman, and you don't.
- 23:36Speaker 2: We have to see you don't do what they doing
- 23:38Speaker 2: over there. I'm telling you.
- 23:42Speaker 1: You had a statement. You said, it's all the same
- 23:44Speaker 1: except for how you how he feels about.
- 23:46Speaker 5: A Yeah, it's all the same until unless he feels
- 23:50Speaker 5: something for you. Yours is just like everybody else's until
- 23:54Speaker 5: he feels something for you.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Wow.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Okay, he can love it and not care nothing for you.
- 24:02Speaker 1: That's cold.
- 24:04Speaker 11: But it's from a man though if he's keeping it
- 24:06Speaker 11: one yees hear what he's saying.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I promise you we do that all the time, don't
- 24:13Speaker 2: care nothing about you? Wow?
- 24:16Speaker 1: Like you can separate them like it's if you could.
- 24:19Speaker 5: Yes, you could send it, I'm sorry, Wow, Now if
- 24:24Speaker 5: you could put it on who I really like.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Jackpot? Wow?
- 24:36Speaker 1: But it's not t M I though. It's stuff. It's
- 24:38Speaker 1: stuff women need to know, is women?
- 24:40Speaker 5: Well, you know, it's just just just how me and
- 24:42Speaker 5: are stop thinking that you're gonna put something on him
- 24:46Speaker 5: he ain't never had, right, because you may be able
- 24:50Speaker 5: to do.
- 24:50Speaker 2: That and you may not.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, what you said, Carla, we're in denial.
- 24:55Speaker 12: Sometimes women are in denial, so they invest all this
- 24:57Speaker 12: time and relationships with the man and they think they're
- 24:59Speaker 12: gonna change.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Well, as one, I have a question.
- 25:02Speaker 5: Yeah, if you think that you can put something on
- 25:05Speaker 5: him that he's never had, and you can put something
- 25:09Speaker 5: on him that he's never had, what you gave him
- 25:13Speaker 5: that he never had, do he even want it?
- 25:18Speaker 2: See, y'all don't understand how this works.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Man.
- 25:22Speaker 5: If we don't want it, I don't care how good
- 25:24Speaker 5: you put it on us. But that ain't what we
- 25:26Speaker 5: want it. So wam bam, thank you, ma'am. But we gone, wow, okay,
- 25:33Speaker 5: Oh I put it on him?
- 25:34Speaker 2: Okay cool? And he gone yeah, yeah, all right, all right.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I hope you know, I hope they hear you. I
- 25:43Speaker 1: hope you're being heard. Let me just say it like that,
- 25:46Speaker 1: you know, I.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Jewels and.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Everybody got one. Everybody ain't what you think it is.
- 25:55Speaker 11: Yeah, And then it's different for women because we get
- 25:58Speaker 11: all emotional, you know, and get tied to this person. Yeah,
- 26:02Speaker 11: who they only want one thing? I mean, you know,
- 26:06Speaker 11: all right, all right, you broke it down, Clo, Thank you.
- 26:08Speaker 11: Moving on to Rich in Fair Hope, rich writes, I
- 26:12Speaker 11: spent the night at my ex's house and a dude
- 26:15Speaker 11: she's messing with popped up at her house. I got
- 26:18Speaker 11: my things and I left because I don't like conflict.
- 26:21Speaker 11: He's telling everyone that he ran me off and I
- 26:23Speaker 11: was scared of him. Do I let his slide or
- 26:25Speaker 11: do I address it?
- 26:27Speaker 1: Well, he told the truth, ego, he told he was scared. Well,
- 26:36Speaker 1: he said he didn't like conflict. He just didn't you
- 26:38Speaker 1: know what that means.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Exactly what he said. Stayed there and got into a
- 26:44Speaker 2: fight with the guy. So I'm saying, you got to
- 26:45Speaker 2: stay there. But you know, don't be sitting up in
- 26:47Speaker 2: here worrying about what he's saying when you know is true.
- 26:51Speaker 1: So what about him spending the night at his ex'es
- 26:54Speaker 1: house though? What about that and then a guy showing
- 26:57Speaker 1: down there?
- 26:57Speaker 5: Yeah, so he got on about it there because it
- 27:02Speaker 5: just why don't you just put a spin on it
- 27:04Speaker 5: and just say it's not worth the drama.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I'm not getting into a scrap or.
- 27:12Speaker 5: Or I'm not gonna get into some altercation with a
- 27:15Speaker 5: guy over something I don't really care about.
- 27:17Speaker 1: So you're saying for sure it would have gone down
- 27:19Speaker 1: between the two men.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Yeah, if he stay over there talking that smack. But
- 27:22Speaker 5: he got to get up out of there. He has
- 27:25Speaker 5: no rights to it anyway. He's X because everybody thank
- 27:29Speaker 5: you and something because he just rolled up over there.
- 27:33Speaker 5: So I got myself and left because I don't like drama.
- 27:36Speaker 5: And then he telling everybody he ran me off. You
- 27:38Speaker 5: was scared of him?
- 27:40Speaker 1: Okay, Well, what was he doing over there in the
- 27:42Speaker 1: first place? That they're exes? That's the question too.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Because of it and he likes it, but he don't
- 27:55Speaker 2: care nothing about.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Her, so that's why you go. Okay, all right, okay,
- 28:00Speaker 1: all right.
- 28:01Speaker 5: He ain't taking a stand for he ain't willing to
- 28:03Speaker 5: all nobody for a night. Let me get on nobody here.
- 28:07Speaker 1: You ain't let me go to work. Yeah, it's not
- 28:10Speaker 1: that serious. You can have her dog, Okay.
- 28:13Speaker 11: Moving on to Jamika and Philly, Jamika writes, my husband
- 28:17Speaker 11: and I want our daughter to move out. She's almost
- 28:19Speaker 11: thirty and she has two cars blocking our driveway. She's
- 28:23Speaker 11: using two bedrooms and she doesn't give us any money
- 28:26Speaker 11: on the household expenses. Should we feel bad for asking
- 28:30Speaker 11: her to leave?
- 28:31Speaker 4: No? Uh?
- 28:32Speaker 2: She thirty? She got two cars?
- 28:35Speaker 8: What's happening?
- 28:35Speaker 2: She must be working.
- 28:37Speaker 5: Why she's taking up two bedrooms? She's fall Can you
- 28:42Speaker 5: let her do that? Here's one bedroom. Put them cars
- 28:47Speaker 5: on the street and we need eight hundred.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, then she'll move and get her on that. Yeah. Okay,
- 28:57Speaker 1: how's she paying for the cars? Two cars?
- 29:00Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 29:01Speaker 2: Yes, you were Has she taken up two bedrooms? She
- 29:03Speaker 2: got a job?

- 29:13Speaker 11: for houses together, but we don't have the same taste.
- 29:17Speaker 11: He told me, I can add to the budget if
- 29:19Speaker 11: I want a nicer home. The house was his idea.
- 29:22Speaker 11: So should I accept whatever he wants or buy or
- 29:25Speaker 11: add to the budget.
- 29:27Speaker 5: Here's what I think you should do. I should think
- 29:29Speaker 5: I think you should wait until you all are married
- 29:32Speaker 5: before you buy this house. I don't ladies, stop changing
- 29:37Speaker 5: the rules. Yes, if you're good enough to live with,
- 29:40Speaker 5: if you're good enough to buy a house with, you
- 29:41Speaker 5: should be good enough to have his last name and
- 29:44Speaker 5: if you're not good enough, you need to find out
- 29:46Speaker 5: why write now buying a house together? Serious, Yeah, that's
- 29:55Speaker 5: that's ultimately, that's right after having a kid.
- 29:57Speaker 11: Yeah, and it's one of the big investments you'll do, right,
- 30:01Speaker 11: I mean buying property, real estate.
- 30:03Speaker 2: That child is the biggest investment.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Well, yeah, that house as right. Why wouldn't you want
- 30:10Speaker 1: a nicer home though, you.
- 30:12Speaker 5: Get a nicer house, but you know, how you do

- 30:49Speaker 11: his injuries are described as non life threatening. That's good news.
- 30:53Speaker 11: A spokesperson for Offset reported that he's fine. The Seminole
- 30:57Speaker 11: Police Department has confirmed that they detained two individuals in
- 31:01Speaker 11: connection with the shooting and the investigation is ongoing, so
- 31:04Speaker 11: when we get more information, of course we'll let you know.
- 31:06Speaker 11: But well, at least he's fine, you know, not threatening
- 31:11Speaker 11: injuries and all of that. But yeah, it's still crazy.
- 31:18Speaker 1: To get shot.
- 31:19Speaker 7: I'm no longer rapping, no more, I am ribbing offset
- 31:23Speaker 7: at that point.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it's too much violence.

- 56:47Speaker 11: It is letter subject he facetimed me while he was
- 56:51Speaker 11: with her.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:53Speaker 11: I met the love of my life seven years ago
- 56:55Speaker 11: and I was twenty one years old at the time.
- 56:58Speaker 11: He's three years older than me and had already had
- 57:01Speaker 11: a child. He was my first everything, and he influenced
- 57:04Speaker 11: everything I did. I overlooked a lot of things he
- 57:07Speaker 11: did because I was young and crazy in love. He
- 57:11Speaker 11: would be intimate with the mother of his child, and
- 57:13Speaker 11: he didn't try to hide it. It made me feel
- 57:15Speaker 11: like I wasn't good enough or skilled enough at sex
- 57:18Speaker 11: because he kept on having sex with her. She threw
- 57:21Speaker 11: it up in my face whenever she could, so I
- 57:24Speaker 11: finally broke up with him. I was heartbroken, but managed
- 57:28Speaker 11: to stay friends with him. He ended up having another
- 57:31Speaker 11: child with this lady and told me that it was
- 57:34Speaker 11: a big mistake. Then he started dating this lady he
- 57:37Speaker 11: worked with and they had a baby together. After his
- 57:40Speaker 11: third child was born, he came to me humbly and
- 57:44Speaker 11: said he was so tired of how he had been
- 57:46Speaker 11: doing things and he wanted me back. He also said
- 57:49Speaker 11: he was ready to get married. We got back together
- 57:52Speaker 11: eight months ago, and I'm pregnant. He seemed to be
- 57:56Speaker 11: happy when I told him, and he said he would
- 57:59Speaker 11: have my dream. We would have my dream wedding, but
- 58:02Speaker 11: that's on hold for now. A week ago, he went
- 58:05Speaker 11: to visit his youngest son and we were on FaceTime
- 58:08Speaker 11: as he drove. When he got out of the car,
- 58:12Speaker 11: he thought he had hung up and he must have
- 58:14Speaker 11: thrown his phone in his pocket. I heard a female mumbling,
- 58:18Speaker 11: and then I clearly heard her ask if he had
- 58:21Speaker 11: a condom. Then I heard a lot of moaning. I
- 58:24Speaker 11: hung up and I got physically ill. When he came back,
- 58:28Speaker 11: I didn't let him know what i'd heard. I'm about
- 58:31Speaker 11: to deliver his fourth child and he's still a liar
- 58:34Speaker 11: and a cheater.
- 58:35Speaker 1: I don't want to be a single parent. What should
- 58:37Speaker 1: I do now?
- 58:40Speaker 11: Well, girl, you got to get it together, I mean
- 58:42Speaker 11: quickly and in a hurry. You're about to deliver his
- 58:45Speaker 11: fourth child. You gotta just stop being stupid. These are
- 58:48Speaker 11: some stupid moves you've been.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Making, you know, with this man. This guy's been using you,
- 58:53Speaker 1: lying to you all along, and you keep on falling
- 58:57Speaker 1: for it.
- 58:58Speaker 11: I know you're young, but but I mean, you could
- 59:02Speaker 11: have just asked him to use a condom. You could
- 59:05Speaker 11: have to use protection. It's okay to say that you
- 59:10Speaker 11: know or did you want to get pregnant by him.
- 59:13Speaker 11: I'm not so sure you didn't, you know because you
- 59:15Speaker 11: were so happy to have him back. I mean, and
- 59:18Speaker 11: did you think that a baby would keep him well?
- 59:21Speaker 11: As you can clearly see, it didn't. And now although
- 59:24Speaker 11: you may not want to be a single parent, you
- 59:27Speaker 11: will be. This guy is a loser in every sense
- 59:30Speaker 11: of the word, who just keeps dropping babies wherever he goes.
- 59:34Speaker 1: I mean, he's not thinking about protection.
- 59:37Speaker 4: And you know.
- 59:39Speaker 11: You never once said at least he's a good father,
- 59:42Speaker 11: because he's not.
- 59:44Speaker 1: He's not.
- 59:44Speaker 12: Let's face it, he's too busy making kids and he's
- 59:48Speaker 12: immature like a kid.
- 59:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry you.
- 59:51Speaker 11: Loved him more than you loved you and got yourself
- 59:54Speaker 11: caught up in his game of lies and deceit.
- 59:56Speaker 1: But please know that it is not the end of
- 59:59Speaker 1: the world for you.
- 1:00:00Speaker 11: First of all, please don't even consider marrying this guy
- 1:00:04Speaker 11: right now. I mean, you need to walk away from
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: this toxic relationship. It is now time to make plans
- 1:00:11Speaker 11: for a future without him.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Use this time. I'm telling you to use.
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: This time to figure out how are you going to
- 1:00:17Speaker 11: take care of your baby and taking that baby daddy
- 1:00:20Speaker 11: to court right now?
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: Steve, Wow, it's a lot of here, man. I feel
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: bad for this lady right here, this young girl. But
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: this started wrong, and it's wrong from the very beginning,
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: and there are no corrections being made along the way.
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: And now you're faced with the ultimatum. At the end
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: of this letter, you're simply saying, I don't want to
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: be a single parent. What should I do now? Well,
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: let me show you what has happened so I can
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: paint a clear picture. Fee you met the love of
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: your life seven years ago, saying that because if this
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: is the love of your life, your life is headed
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: for a loveless, remaining livelihood. This can't be the love
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: of your life. This was the love of your life,
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: so you thought up until that point. But after you
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: met him, he started proving to you he was not
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: the love of your life. You've got to get a
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: better definition of love of your life. You got to
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: learn how to let somebody else love you that knows
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: how to do it. Twenty one he's three years older,
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: he already had a child. He was my first everything.
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: He influenced everything I did. I overlooked a lot of
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: things he did because I was young and crazy in love.
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: Right there, right there, you made the statement, young lady,
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: that I want you to pay attention to. I overlooked
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: a lot of things he did because I was young
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: and crazy in love. He would be intimate with the
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: mother of his child. He didn't try to hide it,
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: so he just throw it up in your face. It
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: made me feel like I wasn't good enough or skilled
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: enough as sex because he kept having sex with her,
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: and you knew he was kept having sex with her,
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: and you allowed him to have sex, and then he
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: kept having sex with it. And then the lady threw
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: it up in your face whenever she could. And now
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: you got other women calling you about the love of
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: your life, and the love of your life is screwing
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: all these other people. I was heart broken, but I
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: managed to stay friends with him. Why Why what has
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: he done that's friendly towards you? You know, we need
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: to do two things right now when we come back,
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: we talk about it. We need a new definition of
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: friend and you need a new definition of love.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: All right, Steve, hold onto that thought.
- 1:03:06Speaker 11: We'll get part two of your response coming up at
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: twenty three minutes after the hours subject he face timed
- 1:03:12Speaker 11: me while.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: He was with her. We'll get back into it right
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:24Speaker 12: Do you ever notice your floors still look dirty even
- 1:03:26Speaker 12: after you mop? Power Mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:03:30Speaker 12: you can see and feel. Unlike stream mops sore for
- 1:03:33Speaker 12: power mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even
- 1:03:37Speaker 12: and hard to reach places.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Like behind the toilet.
- 1:03:40Speaker 12: The new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning
- 1:03:43Speaker 12: actions for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No
- 1:03:47Speaker 12: more dirty floors. Try the sore for power Mop. Love
- 1:03:51Speaker 12: it or your money.
- 1:03:52Speaker 11: Back, all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:55Speaker 11: The subject he face timed me when he was with her.
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: This young lady who I have no jokes for because
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: I'm heartbroken for her because at twenty one, she claimed
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: to have met the love of her life, which was
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: just the love of her life up at that point.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: But this guy has shown her no respect or love.
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: He was your first everything. He influenced everything, you did.
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: And the mistake you made was I overlooked a lot
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: of things he did because I was young and crazy
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: in love.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: So what did you do?
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: You allowed him to have sex with other women repeatedly
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: that you knew about it. They had other women call
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: you to confront you about them screwing that he was
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: doing with them. You allowed it, and you allowed him
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: to put it in front of your face because he
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: didn't care that you knew about it. Okay, these are
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: the stuff you allowed to happen because you was young
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: and crazy in love. Now let's move on. So finally
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: you broke up with him, You say, but y'all remain friends.
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: Why what friendly was he towards you? He's done nothing
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: but dog you the entire time. That ain't love on friendship.
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: I was heartbroken, but manistate friends with window. He ended
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: up having another child with this lady. So now that
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: lady they had another baby, and told me that it
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: was a big mistake. Then he started dating a lady
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: from work and they had a baby together. Now, after
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: the third child was born, he came to you humbly
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: and said he was so tired of how he's been
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: doing things, and he wanted you back. He also said
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: he was ready to get married. Oh he said everything
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: you wanted to hear. We got been together eight months
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: ago and I'm pregnant. He seemed to be so happy
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: when I told him. He said we would have my
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: dream wedding. But all that's on whole now. You know
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: why because a week ago he went to visit his
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: youngest son and we were on FaceTime as he drove.
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: When he got out the car, he thought he had
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: hung up and he must.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Have thrown his phone in his pocket.
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: You heard a female moumling, and you clearly heard her
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: ask if he had a condom. Then I heard a
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: lot of moaning. I hung up and I got physically ill.
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: When he came back, he go to other mistake, I
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: did not let him know what I heard. Now I'm
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: about to deliver his fourth child. He's still a liar
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: and a Cheatah has been that the entire time. And
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: I don't want to be a single parent. What should
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: I do now? So, young lady, you don't want to
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: be a single parent, So the only other option is this.
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: You can get married and ruin your entire remaining life
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: by being married to this liar.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: And this cheater, or you could take this blessing, this baby.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Learn from your mistakes.
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: Never allow another person to walk over you, take your
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: child raising and then wait on your real love of
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: your life to come along. You're still young, You're still young.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: This is not the end of the world for you.
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: The baby is not a mistake. It's not The baby
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: is fine. The baby will you'll You'll be fine. You
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: will manage, just like every other single parent does. Do
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: not marry this man. Now he gonna have to get
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: his but it's not up to you. It's not up
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: to you to give it to him. Let me tell
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: you something, ladies, y'all waste a lot of time being scorn,
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: and I do understand it, and I ain't saying it shouldn't.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Be that way.
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: Because you hurt, you hurt. He'll have no fury like
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: a woman scorn. I used to think it was a
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: Bible verse. I swear to God I did. I thought
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: it was a Bible verse. It's not, but it sounds
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: so true, and that you he was the word scorn.
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: Scorn is a biblical term. That's why I thought it
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: was a Bible verse. But it's not so now you
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: have it you have a decision to make. Cut your
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: losses from this man. Stop giving yourself to this man.
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: Stop thinking you can change this man, Stop.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: Hoping this man changes.
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: You may have been the love, he may have been
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: the love of your life, but listen to me, young sister,
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: you have never been the love of his life ever.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: He knows nothing about it, and you are not now.
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: So let God handle him. Oh please know he got
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: his coming. Ladies, dudes that do like this, they don't

- 1:11:58Speaker 9: know if you saw this on his Mount rush More
- 1:12:00Speaker 9: of basketball. This is what Shaulquille O'Neill Hall of Fame
- 1:12:03Speaker 9: Shaquille O'Neil said. It's on his Mount Rushmore. First of all,
- 1:12:06Speaker 9: he said, Michael Jordan undisputed. Michael Jordan's second is Lebron
- 1:12:11Speaker 9: James agree, The third is Kobe Bean Brian Yes, and
- 1:12:17Speaker 9: then fourth Steph Curry.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Okay, Now, not mad at not at all.
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: That.
- 1:12:26Speaker 8: Yeah, that's that's that's you have you agree with this?
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: It's only four yeah, on the Mount Rushmore. Yeah, he's
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: not on there.
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: No, it's his, it's his Mount Rushmore.
- 1:12:38Speaker 9: Who do you feel is the top four players of
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: all time in basketball? Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant
- 1:12:45Speaker 9: and Steph Curry.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: I ain't mad at that.
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: All people are, but some people don't want Lebron on that.
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: But I ain't mad at Lebron. Is No them his
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: haters right there, that's Stephen A.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: Smith.
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: Well, they did have a little you know, I mean,
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: but I've never seen a sports cast get into more
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: beefs with players ever in the history of sports casting.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: And I got he's a reporter.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: He don't.
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: He don't text me back no more, so I guess
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: he's mad at me. He'd be all right, So I
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: still beef. No, we ain't beefing. I just you know,
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: you don't like what I said. We we ain't really
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: saying nothing, because he go after everybody, going after Barnes,
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: Matt Barnes. Now everybody say something, you know, and he
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: got beef. Matt Barnes ain't who you want to play
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: with them? Matt Barnbville, all the way from the Bay Area,
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: all the way.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: He will.
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: Now I think Magic Johnson, Magic Johnson would be on
- 1:13:54Speaker 5: my Mount Rushmore.
- 1:13:56Speaker 11: Magic about Kareem. I'll tell you all right, all right,
- 1:14:01Speaker 11: thank you, Ju, and your coming up next. The wife
- 1:14:03Speaker 11: is hurt by something her husband said and she needs
- 1:14:05Speaker 11: some advice. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:14:09Speaker 11: Harvey Morning Show. Hey, Steve, before we get into this story,
- 1:14:16Speaker 11: you wanted to name your Mount Rushmore of people.
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: It's gonna anger a lot of people, but I picked people.
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: These are the people who I think revolutionize the game
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: of basketball. I think that my Mount Rushmore would look
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: a little bit different, because, yeah, I think who revolutionized
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: the game of basketball was Magic Johnson. I think he
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: bought the big man into play with ball handling and everything,
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: and before them there was none. Steph Curry changed the way.
- 1:14:48Speaker 5: He's the greatest shooter ever lived. He made the three
- 1:14:50Speaker 5: point shot what it is today, and most people that
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: are doing it ain't got no business doing it. And
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: then there is Jordan who was who took basketball global.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: And then it's and then this.
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: What James Lebron James, because I've never seen an athletic
- 1:15:10Speaker 5: career put together like kids.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: I've never seen it.
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: No athlete, no football, basketball, baseball, ten is nothing. He
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: has the greatest career I've ever seen a symbol by
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: a human being in athletics.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: And that's Rushmore.
- 1:15:27Speaker 21: Okay, all right, George Lebron, Steph Magic, Okay, right, yep, yep,
- 1:15:37Speaker 21: all right.
- 1:15:40Speaker 11: Moving on to Angie in Evanston. Angie says I'm dating
- 1:15:44Speaker 11: and I've lost a little weight. My husband looked at
- 1:15:47Speaker 11: me this morning and said, I'm starting to look like
- 1:15:49Speaker 11: the woman he fell in love with ten years ago.
- 1:15:52Speaker 11: I was so hurt, and I wish she had told
- 1:15:56Speaker 11: me years ago that he didn't like the way I looked.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Said, she said, I'm dating, I'm dieting. I'm dieting.
- 1:16:04Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm dieting, and I've lost a little weight. My
- 1:16:06Speaker 11: husband looked at me this morning and said, I'm starting
- 1:16:09Speaker 11: to look like the woman he fell in love with
- 1:16:10Speaker 11: ten years ago. I was so hurt, and I wish
- 1:16:14Speaker 11: he had told me years ago that he didn't like
- 1:16:16Speaker 11: the way I looked or how I looked. He said
- 1:16:18Speaker 11: it was just a statement and it wasn't that deep.
- 1:16:21Speaker 11: He sent flowers to my job, and he tried to
- 1:16:24Speaker 11: take me to dinner tonight. But I can't get past
- 1:16:26Speaker 11: to what he said to me. Was he telling me
- 1:16:28Speaker 11: I looked a mess for years? Or am I overreacting?
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: That's what he was telling you, And you are real
- 1:16:34Speaker 5: reacting because you did look a mess and that's why
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: you started dieting.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: And you ain't lost a little bit of weight. You
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: lost a bunch of weight. That's what it is.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: So you're saying it's okay to say what he said.
- 1:16:45Speaker 5: Well, he said it was just a statement. He was
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: trying to be a compliment. He just worded it wrong.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Yeah, do I look about him?
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: Then?
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: When I fell in love with ten years ago.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: This is outfit, make me look fat. So you're one
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: of those husbands who say.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: Well, you had got on swore for a while and
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: I still loved you.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: That's what you're saying.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: You got.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: I'm not going to say that, but he knows. He
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: said it.
- 1:17:11Speaker 5: Wow, you look amazing, Oh my god, you look amazing,
- 1:17:16Speaker 5: and just yeah, yeah, you look like the woman I
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: fell in love with ten years ago.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Yes she lost a little way, she ain't lost no little,
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: she lost a bunch.
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: And yes she knows. That's why she started dying. That's
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: why we all started dying, y'all. Come on, that's why
- 1:17:35Speaker 5: we all. That's why men died.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: Work out. We didn't mess around and look like hot mess.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: No, we're not mad at that. It's just what he
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: said to his wife.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: You look like women I fell in love with ten
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: years ago because you I didn't marry this.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: That's what That's what she heard, exactly and exactly.
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: Had you look like this ten years ago, we probably
- 1:18:03Speaker 5: wouldn't be married. Dingo, that's the thoughts of every man. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: keep it in your head. But he did try to
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: make it up with her.
- 1:18:13Speaker 11: To her, he sent her roses or flowers, He tried
- 1:18:16Speaker 11: to take her out to dinner, all of that. So
- 1:18:18Speaker 11: she just wants to know what she overreacting.
- 1:18:21Speaker 18: Well, yes, she is overreacting. Yes you think, yes, yes
- 1:18:26Speaker 18: you are. Yes, Okay, I don't think so.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: I'm in the situation.

- 1:26:14Speaker 10: Those guys are some amazing guys to have done and
- 1:26:17Speaker 10: accomplish what they have.
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: In the NBA. We don't have to put that on
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: the mountain. No, we could just put that on the
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: side of a hill, mount hillmore.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Come out?
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: All right, glad you got that out the way.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: Life can go off their.
- 1:26:37Speaker 11: Legends though there are Yeah, all right, Steve, it's on
- 1:26:44Speaker 11: your closing remark.
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know, man, I guess uh it's talking
- 1:26:50Speaker 5: about something yesterday. And uh, I hear so many women
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: say this. It's hard to find a good man out
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: there because men have changed. You want to know what
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: it is about men? Men will do whatever they are
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: allowed to do, nothing more, nothing less. A lot of times, ladies,
- 1:27:20Speaker 5: some of this stuff you allowed to happen to yourself,
- 1:27:25Speaker 5: and you don't have to.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: You don't have to. Now here's the truth of the matter. Oftentimes,
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: this younger.
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: Generation, and look, I'm not talking about all, but sometimes
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: in this younger generation, they suffer from the fact that
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: they didn't have the role model.
- 1:27:46Speaker 5: They suffer from the fact that they didn't have the
- 1:27:48Speaker 5: male figure to look up to. They suffer from the
- 1:27:51Speaker 5: fact that they didn't have the proper guidance from men.
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: And I know that because I have camps full of
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: them every single year, and I watch his young boys
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: struggle with just very very simple complexities of manhood because
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: they've never heard it. I am sitting up there sharing
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: with them some things about manhood that they have never
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: heard before that they have no concept of. They be
- 1:28:18Speaker 5: just as look, they be looking just as bewildered. Mister Harvey,
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: What did you say, Why we got to do that?
- 1:28:26Speaker 5: Because that is the expectation of men, and sometimes they
- 1:28:30Speaker 5: just aren't taught that. And a lot of women are
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: suffering today because of the lack of male preparation that
- 1:28:37Speaker 5: a lot of young men have gone through. Well, the
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: rules of manhood have not changed. We are natural born protectors,
- 1:28:48Speaker 5: natural born providers. Those two things are essential to your
- 1:28:52Speaker 5: role as a man. Stop stop stop rationalizing that a
- 1:28:59Speaker 5: way with this new fangled thought, a woman got to
- 1:29:03Speaker 5: bring something to the table.
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: I ain't taking care of no woman? Okay, why not?
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: Why not?
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: You want her to take care of you? So why not?
- 1:29:15Speaker 5: You want a woman to do all the wifely duties,
- 1:29:17Speaker 5: then you got to do all the manly duties. You
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: want a woman to be there for you, support you,
- 1:29:22Speaker 5: love you, be loyal to you, fix you up at night,
- 1:29:27Speaker 5: give you the things you need to get patched up
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: to go back out there, to go to water next day.
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: That's a cost factor for that. What you gonna do?
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: You want a family? You want a son, You want
- 1:29:38Speaker 5: a boy, look just like you all that. You want
- 1:29:40Speaker 5: a daughter, you want to be the head of a family. Okay,
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: that come with a cost factor partner. You don't get
- 1:29:47Speaker 5: off from these things called manhood, and you don't get
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: free from them because you don't know them. That's the
- 1:29:53Speaker 5: other cold part. You are not free from the duties
- 1:29:57Speaker 5: and obligations of manhood just because you don't know them.
- 1:30:02Speaker 5: Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance comes from Ignorance comes with costs.
- 1:30:10Speaker 5: I remember one time I was speeding through a school zone.
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: It was a truck parked in front of the blinking
- 1:30:15Speaker 5: school sign and I never saw the sign. I promise
- 1:30:17Speaker 5: you I didn't, else I would have slowed down because
- 1:30:20Speaker 5: I have children. Well, I blew through this thing. I
- 1:30:23Speaker 5: was doing forty miles an hour. The police pulled me
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: over and he said, you didn't see that sign. I said, no, sir,
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: I didn't, he said, he pointed to the sign to
- 1:30:32Speaker 5: sign is right back there. I said, sir, you see
- 1:30:35Speaker 5: that truck right there. When I was driving, the truck
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: must have been in the way and I didn't see it.
- 1:30:40Speaker 5: He said, you were still speeding through a school zone.
- 1:30:43Speaker 5: I still got the ticket. Just because you didn't see it.
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: You can't claim ignorance. You broke the law. It's a
- 1:30:49Speaker 5: consequence for that. It's a consequence for it's a consequence
- 1:30:53Speaker 5: for not being a proper man. But ladies, hold these
- 1:30:56Speaker 5: men accountable. Stop lowering your standards because you can't me
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: nobody that's got them. Well, Steve, if I do that,
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: I'll be by myself. Okay, Then lower your standards and
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: get with somebody that ain't gonna hold up the end
- 1:31:13Speaker 5: of the bargain, and let me know how that works
- 1:31:15Speaker 5: out for you. Stop allowing men to come into your
- 1:31:22Speaker 5: life and not be the man you need. Just stop
- 1:31:27Speaker 5: stop aligning it, and I'll tell you something else to
- 1:31:31Speaker 5: Men can be trained how to treat you. If you
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: tell a man these are the requirements to have me
- 1:31:35Speaker 5: if he wants you, guess what he gonna rise to
- 1:31:37Speaker 5: the level. I'm sorry, that's just the way I was raised.
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: I know that sounds old and old fashioned, but some
- 1:31:45Speaker 5: things don't ever go out of style, and being a
- 1:31:48Speaker 5: man ain't gonna ever go out.
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: Of style for me. And I'm not changing their own
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: rules up it just coach, you don't want to des
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: hang in their brothers. He'd be honest, talk God day
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: he loved here for.
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: All.
