- 0:12Speaker 4: Don't given them busy listening to me to show.
- 0:38Speaker 5: I don't joy Yeah, Joy, have.
- 0:59Speaker 6: You got you.
- 1:05Speaker 7: You love? Turn you gotta turn, got to turn the
- 1:42Speaker 7: mouth turn you probably got to turn the mouth out
- 1:46Speaker 7: the water the mot up. Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out you, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 8: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 8: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 9: Man, oh man, oh man? How good is God to me?
- 2:15Speaker 8: And part of the mission and the reason that I
- 2:18Speaker 8: have a radio show is to become a share of
- 2:22Speaker 8: more and more of a share of you know. I
- 2:26Speaker 8: used to hear my mother say it to me all
- 2:27Speaker 8: the time. But God blesses you to become a blessing.
- 2:30Speaker 8: And I think the more you understand that about yourself,
- 2:33Speaker 8: I think the more blessings will flow your way. I
- 2:36Speaker 8: think that once you understand the principle that.
- 2:41Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:41Speaker 9: But it's kind of tied together with some other scriptures.
- 2:44Speaker 8: And I'm not too knowledgeable about them, of course, as usual,
- 2:48Speaker 8: but I do know what I've heard, you know, and
- 2:51Speaker 8: you know, if you look at something simple as do
- 2:53Speaker 8: unto others as you would have them do unto you.
- 2:57Speaker 8: Wouldn't you want somebody to help you if you need
- 2:59Speaker 8: it help? I just know how to get it down
- 3:03Speaker 8: there to where I've been able to understand it. If
- 3:07Speaker 8: there's a scripture similar that it says do unto others
- 3:11Speaker 8: as you would have them do unto you, or if
- 3:15Speaker 8: that's you know in a prayer, would not you want
- 3:19Speaker 8: somebody to help you if you needed help? You've heard
- 3:26Speaker 8: you reap what you sew? Do you understand that if
- 3:30Speaker 8: you so discord, that discord is gonna come your way.
- 3:35Speaker 8: That if you hate, hate gonna come your way. If
- 3:39Speaker 8: you blog nothing but negative comments about people, your life
- 3:43Speaker 8: will be filled with negativity. If all you do is
- 3:47Speaker 8: talk about people, then guess what somebody got to turn
- 3:49Speaker 8: that gun around and talk about you. See, it just
- 3:54Speaker 8: stands to reason. So what I've learned in my life
- 3:58Speaker 8: and through all the trials and tribulations that I've had,
- 4:01Speaker 8: is to take those lessons and share them with people
- 4:06Speaker 8: in case you ain't heard it from somebody else. See Sometimes,
- 4:10Speaker 8: and the reason it seems like I'm redundant at times
- 4:14Speaker 8: is wich I am is because I'm always trying to
- 4:17Speaker 8: find a different way to say the same thing, because
- 4:20Speaker 8: it's a funny thing. Man, You got to hear it
- 4:23Speaker 8: a certain way for it to click with you. How
- 4:27Speaker 8: many times have I heard a saying and then I
- 4:31Speaker 8: heard it a different way that it clicked with me?
- 4:37Speaker 8: You know, I've heard this saying right here. Remember this now,
- 4:41Speaker 8: everybody's not happy for you. We've all heard that, right,
- 4:45Speaker 8: everybody's not happy for you. Well, that's very simple. I
- 4:50Speaker 8: don't need no explanation. That simply means of all the
- 4:54Speaker 8: people you know or do not know, when something happens
- 4:57Speaker 8: to you and you celebrating it, everybody not gonna join
- 5:01Speaker 8: in on the celebration.
- 5:03Speaker 9: That's all that is.
- 5:05Speaker 8: But then you take it one step further. My father
- 5:07Speaker 8: used to say something to me all the time. He says, son,
- 5:10Speaker 8: everybody come with you, can't go with you. I didn't
- 5:12Speaker 8: get that when I was fifteen. Everybody come with you, can't.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Go with you.
- 5:16Speaker 9: He said, you're gonna lose some of these friends you
- 5:18Speaker 9: got along the way. But I don't care where you
- 5:21Speaker 9: get in life.
- 5:23Speaker 8: Know this right here, everybody can't go with you if
- 5:27Speaker 8: you are constantly trying to improve yourself. You constantly have
- 5:30Speaker 8: to take assessment of the people around you, because if
- 5:34Speaker 8: you are going to continue to go and continue to grow,
- 5:37Speaker 8: then guess what you got to have people that's on
- 5:40Speaker 8: the goal and willing to grow, or else, guess what
- 5:46Speaker 8: you're gonna learn the valuable lesson. You know, the late
- 5:49Speaker 8: boxing promoter Butch Lewis. I was talking with Butcher Lewis
- 5:52Speaker 8: one time, and man with a good brother. Man, he say,
- 5:56Speaker 8: every successful man is doing what I call he got.
- 6:00Speaker 9: Rope work to do. He got rope work to do.
- 6:04Speaker 9: He got to put in work on rope.
- 6:07Speaker 8: And I'm sitting there listening to Butch Lewis and all
- 6:10Speaker 8: the money he had made and all the people's lives
- 6:12Speaker 8: he had changed, and all of the moves he was making.
- 6:14Speaker 9: And he's an.
- 6:15Speaker 8: Incredible skills as a negotiator on behalf of some very
- 6:19Speaker 8: very wealthy people. He was just an amazing man with
- 6:22Speaker 8: no education, but he read everything. He Butch Lewis read
- 6:26Speaker 8: all the papers, all the periodicals. That brother knew everything.
- 6:30Speaker 8: He said, you got to put in rope. And I
- 6:33Speaker 8: was sitting there listening. He said, here's the analogy, little brother.
- 6:37Speaker 8: He said, you are on rope there's a thick rope.
- 6:41Speaker 8: You have on no shirt, you have on some tattered clothes,
- 6:45Speaker 8: you have on no shoes. Your shorts is cut off
- 6:48Speaker 8: just below the knee, and they tatted, and you got
- 6:51Speaker 8: dirt on you and your sweating. There's this huge, huge
- 6:55Speaker 8: raw rope over your shoulder. There's burn marks on all
- 6:59Speaker 8: of your should Connected to that rope is a wagon.
- 7:03Speaker 8: That wagon has all your weight on it, all your responsibilities,
- 7:08Speaker 8: all the people you're responsible for, all your children, your wife,
- 7:13Speaker 8: your family members, your employees, your coworkers, your friends. They
- 7:19Speaker 8: all on that wagon. Man, They just sitting there. He's saying,
- 7:22Speaker 8: what you gotta do is you gotta pull that wagon
- 7:25Speaker 8: up the heel. Now, only thing with it is, can't
- 7:28Speaker 8: nobody help you pull your wagon? You pull your wagon alone.
- 7:33Speaker 2: He say.
- 7:33Speaker 8: Now, what you can do along the way of pulling
- 7:36Speaker 8: your wagon is you can find yourself a good wife,
- 7:39Speaker 8: a good woman. He say, Now, what that woman does
- 7:42Speaker 8: is she get down off the wagon. She fan you
- 7:45Speaker 8: while you pull it. She put water on you while
- 7:47Speaker 8: you pull it. She puts stuff in your mouth while
- 7:50Speaker 8: you pull it. She kicked rocks out the weight while
- 7:52Speaker 8: you pull it. She but she pull it for you,
- 7:56Speaker 8: but she is equally as important as you are on
- 7:58Speaker 8: the pull of the rope. He say, you hear me
- 8:01Speaker 8: clearly now, young soldier, He said, nah, I got this here,
- 8:04Speaker 8: he says, people on your wagon that you're responsible for.
- 8:08Speaker 8: But you want the people on your wagon to help
- 8:11Speaker 8: you get your wagon to the top. So what you
- 8:13Speaker 8: hope is that they got their foot hanging over the
- 8:16Speaker 8: side pushing, They got one leg over the back, or
- 8:20Speaker 8: maybe both legs over the back pushing. They got they
- 8:23Speaker 8: might have their butt on the wagon, but they push
- 8:25Speaker 8: you with both legs, they back facing your back, maybe
- 8:28Speaker 8: some of them facing you when one of them got
- 8:30Speaker 8: left leg hanging over trying to push. And you hope
- 8:33Speaker 8: that all them people on the wagon you pulling is
- 8:36Speaker 8: back there at least trying to help the wagon get
- 8:38Speaker 8: to the top of the hill.
- 8:40Speaker 9: Here go your problem.
- 8:41Speaker 8: Though everybody ain't pushing, Everybody ain't pulling. Ain't everybody ain't pulling,
- 8:46Speaker 8: Everybody ain't kicking rocks out the way. You got some
- 8:49Speaker 8: people on your wagon that's just laying on the wagon,
- 8:52Speaker 8: drinking lemonade, looking at you, talking about how long it's
- 8:57Speaker 8: taking you to get your wagon up to the top,
- 8:59Speaker 8: looking at you talking about why this wagon is so slow.
- 9:02Speaker 8: Then when you start picking up picking up speed, they
- 9:05Speaker 8: want you to pull harder, you to pull faster, you
- 9:08Speaker 8: to pull more. Then they want you to throw what
- 9:11Speaker 8: you then earned on the way up the hill backed
- 9:13Speaker 8: on the wagon so they can have MO. But guess what,
- 9:16Speaker 8: they ain't helping you get more. But they got a
- 9:18Speaker 8: sense of entitlement that since you got MO, they should
- 9:21Speaker 8: have MO. Everybody come with you can't go with you.
- 9:25Speaker 8: Sometimes you gotta kick the people off the wagon that
- 9:28Speaker 8: ain't pushing and pull it and say, hey, man, I'm sorry.
- 9:31Speaker 8: I thought I could do this with you, and I
- 9:33Speaker 8: thought you was going with me. But it's clear to
- 9:36Speaker 8: me you ain't nothing but dead weight. And it ain't
- 9:38Speaker 8: my responsibility to carry dead weight anymore. I have carried
- 9:42Speaker 8: you as long as I have to carry you. You
- 9:44Speaker 8: are no longer my responsibility. I'm responsible for my family,
- 9:48Speaker 8: my wife, my children. I'm not responsible for you. You
- 9:52Speaker 8: got to get off my wagon because I'm a man
- 9:54Speaker 8: on rope. I'm on a mission. Baby, I'm pulling.

- 16:51Speaker 5: Can you just what is happening?
- 16:54Speaker 6: Okay? So here's the deal, sir. We have a we
- 16:57Speaker 6: have a one of the valet workers here have gotten
- 17:01Speaker 6: that and he left. He quit the job, and he's
- 17:05Speaker 6: he's gone, he's left the premise. The problem we're having
- 17:08Speaker 6: right now is we don't see your car, you.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Know, and you don't see it.
- 17:13Speaker 6: What do you what?
- 17:14Speaker 5: I'm sorry? What?
- 17:15Speaker 15: Well, I'm okay, okay, okay, hold wow, all right?
- 17:19Speaker 5: So my car is gone? My car is gone?
- 17:21Speaker 6: Is that what you told me?
- 17:22Speaker 15: Right now?
- 17:22Speaker 17: Somebody work company and work my car?
- 17:26Speaker 6: Well, well, well we're looking on every floor and we're
- 17:29Speaker 6: trying to figure out if it got parked somewhere else.
- 17:32Speaker 6: But he's gone and we're we're that's why we called
- 17:34Speaker 6: to get your number on the.
- 17:36Speaker 15: Car somewhere else. Man, what the do you mean? Do

- 29:27Speaker 13: this year's National Association of Black Journalist Conference going down
- 29:30Speaker 13: in Chicago after he learned that Donald Trump was invited
- 29:34Speaker 13: to do a moderated discussion at this year's conference. Graves
- 29:38Speaker 13: was scheduled to lead the Black Leadership in Today's Media
- 29:41Speaker 13: Landscape panel yesterday, and he explained in a statement posted
- 29:44Speaker 13: on Instagram. He said, quote I most emphatically state that
- 29:48Speaker 13: I disagree with the decision of the leadership of the
- 29:51Speaker 13: nb NABJ to develop a panel featuring Donald Trump in
- 29:55Speaker 13: a session that does not include any black media organizations
- 29:58Speaker 13: and for that matter, black man journalists. He went on
- 30:01Speaker 13: to say that the decision was one of folly and
- 30:04Speaker 13: cowardice and does not keep with the historic tradition of
- 30:09Speaker 13: NABJ and Black media as a whole. The session with
- 30:12Speaker 13: Trump went on as plan where he questioned Kamala's blackness
- 30:15Speaker 13: we all saw it, saying she became black?
- 30:18Speaker 6: What is that?
- 30:19Speaker 13: He insulted the moderator, and he was and said he
- 30:23Speaker 13: was the best president for black people since Abraham Lincoln?
- 30:27Speaker 1: What like, why does he keep saying that?
- 30:31Speaker 2: Why not?
- 30:33Speaker 1: So did y'all see that all of it on social media?
- 30:37Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 30:37Speaker 1: Of course, Yeah, it was so rude.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Well say this, I do. I'm kind of side with
- 30:43Speaker 2: Earl Graves. I get it, I understand. I understand him
- 30:46Speaker 2: protested and not going I do.
- 30:48Speaker 13: Yeah, a lot of people were upset about it, but
- 30:51Speaker 13: I think once Trump got there and people actually saw it,
- 30:56Speaker 13: especially black people.
- 30:57Speaker 1: That may have been on the fence, and then maybe
- 30:59Speaker 1: we're going to vote for.
- 30:59Speaker 13: Him, They really really really saw who he is and
- 31:03Speaker 13: how his mindstract and divert and you know, and all
- 31:07Speaker 13: the things that he did.
- 31:08Speaker 1: He didn't answer any questions. He just did what he does.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Yeah, and he looks bad. He really looked bad. Yeah. Yeah.
- 31:16Speaker 1: It was rude and it was horrible.
- 31:19Speaker 2: It really was rude.
- 31:20Speaker 12: It was it was racist, it was racist, it was
- 31:23Speaker 12: a meaning yeah, all of these things that describe him
- 31:28Speaker 12: on a regular band.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:30Speaker 3: And I think people were upset with Jade.
- 31:34Speaker 18: I know one thing about me, Carl Shirt, I don't
- 31:36Speaker 18: I don't hang out with convicts, So I didn't watch
- 31:39Speaker 18: see when you convicted?
- 31:40Speaker 9: What what am I looking at you for?
- 31:44Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 31:44Speaker 3: You're a fellow.
- 31:46Speaker 13: Yeah I got thirty thirty four yeah yeah, yeah, yeah
- 31:51Speaker 13: yeah and maybe more to come.
- 31:53Speaker 12: I think people were upset because they didn't want this
- 31:55Speaker 12: organization to give him a platform at all.
- 31:58Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 31:59Speaker 2: I understand Earl Graves.
- 32:02Speaker 12: And then talk that foolishness and be disrespectful the way
- 32:05Speaker 12: it is waste time and.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Is cool too? Er Grave Jr. How you doing?
- 32:09Speaker 1: I'm just shut out.

- 32:49Speaker 6: We know that.
- 32:50Speaker 1: So she's coming back to give the people what they wanted.
- 32:52Speaker 13: They asked for this and that's what they want, so
- 32:54Speaker 13: she's given it to him. The navy blue Kamala pan
- 32:56Speaker 13: suit and the wig are coming back to Rudolph to
- 33:00Speaker 13: the filming of her new Apple TV series, to return
- 33:02Speaker 13: to SNL.
- 33:03Speaker 1: So look for her on Saturday Nights this fall.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Yes, come on.
- 33:09Speaker 1: She is brilliant.
- 33:11Speaker 5: She's just.
- 33:13Speaker 3: A genius and what she does, she's so talented.
- 33:16Speaker 1: So I can't wait.
- 33:17Speaker 12: I wonder if they're gonna bring Woody Harrelson back. You
- 33:19Speaker 12: know he played Joe Biden, did remember doing the debates.
- 33:26Speaker 12: But I can't wait to see and we'll be watching
- 33:28Speaker 12: supporting our girls.
- 33:29Speaker 2: She is best. It's kind got the best paying suits
- 33:32Speaker 2: now yeah, yes.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Come on, future Madam President, let's go.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Wait.
- 33:39Speaker 1: All we have to do is vote.
- 33:41Speaker 2: That's it.
- 33:42Speaker 1: All we have to do is vote. Yeah, this is
- 33:47Speaker 1: some good news.
- 33:48Speaker 13: Well, for the Paris Summer Games, athletes that win the
- 33:51Speaker 13: gold gold medalists also receive money. They get money, they
- 33:56Speaker 13: get the medals, they get some money from their respective nations.
- 33:59Speaker 13: As expected, the US doesn't pay as well as other nations.
- 34:04Speaker 13: The average US gold medal winner will get only about
- 34:06Speaker 13: thirty eight thousand dollars.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Still a lot, but yeah, when you compare it to.
- 34:10Speaker 13: Other nations, because because junior, we're expected, as you know,
- 34:14Speaker 13: to have a lot of winners, a lot of gold medals.
- 34:17Speaker 1: All right, So that's why.
- 34:20Speaker 13: But for the smaller places like say, for instance, Hong Kong,
- 34:23Speaker 13: gold medalists will receive seven hundred and sixty eight thousand dollars.
- 34:28Speaker 2: That's what it should be, what it should.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Yeah, God, I.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Can assure you when they walk over to lebron and
- 34:37Speaker 2: stuff with just thirty eight thous they could.
- 34:39Speaker 5: Be like, what is this?
- 34:41Speaker 2: What is this here?
- 34:42Speaker 1: Which I want to do with your rent?
- 34:46Speaker 2: You know, let's just donate it to somebody.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Yeah, well maybe they should do that.
- 34:52Speaker 12: Maybe the professional athletes should donate it to the other
- 34:57Speaker 12: US athletes that aren't professionally and you know that they
- 34:59Speaker 12: don't have a bit page sports on a regular basis.
- 35:03Speaker 3: That would be cool.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Get to go medal in Israel will get around three
- 35:07Speaker 1: hundred Huh.
- 35:09Speaker 2: What'd you say the soccer girls, the rugby girls. I'm
- 35:12Speaker 2: sure they don't get as much they you could donate
- 35:14Speaker 2: it to those girls.
- 35:14Speaker 1: That would be good all women's sports. Of course we
- 35:17Speaker 1: don't have as much, but to your.
- 35:18Speaker 13: Point, yes, thirty eight thousand is all the Americans get.
- 35:22Speaker 13: Gold medalists from Israel will get around two hundred and
- 35:25Speaker 13: seventy thousand.
- 35:26Speaker 5: Uh.
- 35:27Speaker 13: And then the totals, then the totals go down to
- 35:30Speaker 13: a mere thirteen thousand dollars rewards for Australian gold medalists.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, I'm.
- 35:39Speaker 18: Trying to find the Olympic Olympic. I'm trying to find
- 35:42Speaker 18: something I could do an the Olympics to just win
- 35:44Speaker 18: one of these.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Yeah right right, I'm gonna tell.
- 35:50Speaker 2: You thirteen thousand in Australia, we can't feed our kangaroos
- 35:53Speaker 2: with this coming up.
- 35:55Speaker 13: In twenty minutes after the hour, fifty cent showed up.
- 35:58Speaker 13: At a photo shoot with three.
- 35:59Speaker 1: And a half million dollars. We'll tell you how that got,
- 36:02Speaker 1: how that happened. Right after this.
- 36:04Speaker 10: You're listening Hard Morning Show.
- 36:07Speaker 13: Okay, So have you guys seen fifty cent on the
- 36:10Speaker 13: cover of the Hollywood Reporter.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Have you guys seen that magazine? We had to pull
- 36:13Speaker 1: it up for you. Yeah.
- 36:15Speaker 13: Uh, Well, fifty made headlines for reportedly taking three and
- 36:19Speaker 13: a half million dollars cash to the photo shoot.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Who does that? We asked if he was a bank
- 36:25Speaker 1: huh said.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:29Speaker 13: Well, well, when asked if he went to the bank
- 36:33Speaker 13: to get the money, fifty cent.
- 36:35Speaker 10: I just had that.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I just had that, he said, I got more than that.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 36:41Speaker 13: On the cover, fifty is wearing emerald green leather pants
- 36:44Speaker 13: and an emerald green sweater, and he's sitting on a
- 36:46Speaker 13: stack of cash with cash scattered all around him. He
- 36:49Speaker 13: reportedly had the cash stuffed in two heavy black suitcases
- 36:53Speaker 13: and he had four armed guards with him.
- 36:55Speaker 1: No, that's right. And an interview, fifty said he.
- 36:58Speaker 13: Was inspired by Muhammada Lee's nineteen sixty four Sports Illustrated
- 37:02Speaker 13: cover where Muhammad Ali, he was twenty two at the time,
- 37:06Speaker 13: post with one million dollars in cash that he had
- 37:09Speaker 13: just earned from a boxing match.
- 37:11Speaker 1: So there's why.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:15Speaker 13: Well, now a little controversy with fifty and all of
- 37:18Speaker 13: this besides the money. In the same article, fifty Tail
- 37:22Speaker 13: calls out jay Z, claiming that jay Z tried to
- 37:25Speaker 13: keep him from performing in the twenty twenty two Super
- 37:28Speaker 13: Bowl halftime show. Fifty eight eminem props for stepping up
- 37:31Speaker 13: and saying that he would not perform as the Super
- 37:34Speaker 13: Bowl unless Fifty was invited to perform. Fifty said that
- 37:37Speaker 13: is how he got added to the super Bowl halftime
- 37:40Speaker 13: show lineup. Okay, so do you guys believe his story
- 37:43Speaker 13: that jay.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Z was hating on him? Jay Z was hating on fifty,
- 37:47Speaker 1: you know Fitty. You know he been talking about stuff
- 37:50Speaker 1: with jay Z for a long time.
- 37:52Speaker 2: So I don't know.
- 37:54Speaker 11: I mean, I don't know if it's.
- 37:55Speaker 12: True throwing those rocks out there, JA, but j respond Fifty,
- 38:03Speaker 12: But you know that's what and I respect jay Z
- 38:06Speaker 12: for that.
- 38:07Speaker 3: He just small.
- 38:08Speaker 2: I'm still shocked on the three million dollar pump. I'm
- 38:11Speaker 2: gonna take me a picture for ten thousand dollars in it.
- 38:13Speaker 2: How's that gonna look for y'all? I'm gonna take a
- 38:14Speaker 2: picture of like five.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I'm fair.
- 38:17Speaker 18: You gotta talk about fifty cent because he had three
- 38:19Speaker 18: point five million dollars in cash.
- 38:21Speaker 11: First of all, I have I keep three fifty three
- 38:23Speaker 11: hundred fifty dollars on me at all times.
- 38:25Speaker 18: I'm not even respecting this. This story don't even mean
- 38:29Speaker 18: nothing to me. Why would you get money to a
- 38:33Speaker 18: photo shoot? But if I, ladies, if I laid these
- 38:35Speaker 18: three hundreds down and it's fifty at this photo shop,
- 38:37Speaker 18: I finela do.
- 38:37Speaker 11: It's the same respect I had.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Yes, respect the.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Way I'm gonna lay it down with my five green,
- 38:44Speaker 2: the way I'm gonna pose with it, I'm gonna be
- 38:46Speaker 2: it's gonna be flying now, it's gonna be flat.
- 38:49Speaker 11: Right, you don't make me mad and double it y'all.
- 38:56Speaker 11: Y'all be looking at seven hundred dollars in just a second.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Yes, so let me ask a question. You're not gonna
- 39:02Speaker 1: be able to sit on it the stacks.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Now we sit here, gonna see it. You can see it.
- 39:08Speaker 2: You got to kind of like lay next to it.
- 39:10Speaker 2: You ain't gonna be able to sit on it. Okay, it's.
- 39:15Speaker 13: Four minutes coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:18Speaker 13: we're gonna see how tummy is holding up after being
- 39:21Speaker 13: our leader.
- 39:21Speaker 10: For a while.
- 39:22Speaker 1: We'll see right after that you're listening.
- 39:27Speaker 10: Morning show.
- 39:28Speaker 11: All right.
- 39:28Speaker 13: So, Tommy, we hate to say this, Well, I don't know,
- 39:31Speaker 13: but you've done You've done a pretty good job holding
- 39:33Speaker 13: us down with Steve on vacation.
- 39:35Speaker 1: We got to give you your props?
- 39:37Speaker 2: What is what is? What is pretty good?
- 39:39Speaker 6: What is that?
- 39:40Speaker 1: We think you've done a good job? Come on, now,
- 39:42Speaker 1: on now, But but you just say good?
- 39:44Speaker 2: You said pretty good?
- 39:45Speaker 15: Come on?
- 39:45Speaker 16: What? What? What?
- 39:46Speaker 2: What's wrong with extraordinary? What's wrong with our standing? What's
- 39:50Speaker 2: tell us?
- 39:51Speaker 1: What adverts?
- 39:53Speaker 6: You like?
- 39:56Speaker 2: Pretty good? I don't like pretty good? All right?
- 39:58Speaker 1: So let me ask you then, Tommy, do you think
- 40:01Speaker 1: your uncle would be proud?
- 40:04Speaker 2: He'll be proud just the fact that I came in here.
- 40:07Speaker 1: This is true.
- 40:08Speaker 2: This is true.
- 40:09Speaker 10: He pretty good in the fact.
- 40:10Speaker 2: That I showed up every day he was gone, and
- 40:13Speaker 2: as soon as he get back. I can assure you
- 40:17Speaker 2: we're not gonna continue this kind of schedule.
- 40:19Speaker 1: I can assure you that, okay, which brings me to
- 40:22Speaker 1: this next question.
- 40:23Speaker 2: I showed up after performing who showed Sunday night in Philadelphia?
- 40:27Speaker 2: I came in here Monday morning.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Now is it your job?
- 40:30Speaker 4: Okay?
- 40:32Speaker 5: For that?
- 40:33Speaker 2: Everybody know I'm off on Monday.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Come on, oh oh, now we get into it.
- 40:40Speaker 13: Even my dearly beloved late mom knew that. She was
- 40:43Speaker 13: the first one to point it out. So Tommy probably
- 40:50Speaker 13: won't be there all right. So okay, this brings me
- 40:53Speaker 13: to the next question. Tommy, Now think really hard about
- 40:56Speaker 13: this one. Okay, Now, was it.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Weird for you to have to be smart for a while,
- 41:02Speaker 1: you know, while you were leading the show? Was that
- 41:04Speaker 1: strange your brain?
- 41:06Speaker 2: That's another negative question? Another one? Did you are you
- 41:10Speaker 2: listening to stuff that you're asking me? First of all,
- 41:13Speaker 2: I was pretty good. I'm pretty good. Now am I
- 41:17Speaker 2: struggling to be smart? See right there?
- 41:20Speaker 1: Backhanded compliments?
- 41:22Speaker 3: That's what they are right there?
- 41:25Speaker 1: Do you have a Do you have an answer? Though,
- 41:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna say.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Y'all don't appreciate me on Mondays when I'm not here,
- 41:30Speaker 2: y'all gon yes, y'all gonna appreciate me. I ain't got
- 41:35Speaker 2: I don't have a problem balancing. I think I've done
- 41:37Speaker 2: very well balancing. I don't like my smart side. Y'all
- 41:42Speaker 2: don't like Thomas y'all. Y'all don't like Thomas Miles. Let's
- 41:47Speaker 2: just be clear, but that y'all don't none of y'all
- 41:49Speaker 2: do I.
- 41:51Speaker 6: You, sir?
- 41:53Speaker 11: You I haven't seen it here?
- 41:56Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, because it shocks you when it happens. Yes,
- 41:58Speaker 2: you have you seen you? Because you said, God, I
- 42:00Speaker 2: can't believe he said that. What I'm saying is, y'all
- 42:02Speaker 2: love Timmy. Y'all can't stand Thomas mild and I and
- 42:05Speaker 2: I get that now, I get it. But I'm hearing that.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Y'all know Thomas is in control. Go ahead, shir.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Here's another question. What would you do differently if this
- 42:13Speaker 1: were your radio show instead of your uncle?
- 42:17Speaker 11: Man, don't put that act it please?
- 42:20Speaker 2: Work work only Tuesday wednes thurs. Well, that's the first thing.
- 42:26Speaker 2: That's the first thing we doing. But all that that Monday,
- 42:29Speaker 2: that's working on Monday and Friday. I'm sorry, that is overrated. Tuesday.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Come on, black job my ideal work week.
- 42:37Speaker 2: If I get to design my black job and that's
- 42:39Speaker 2: what I'm doing Tuesday Wednesdays, come on in here.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Can I say this, You've done an outstanding job as
- 42:45Speaker 1: our leader.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Okay?
- 42:46Speaker 1: Can I just say that right now? In case that happens.
- 42:51Speaker 13: All right, here's another question for you, Tommy. Do you
- 42:56Speaker 13: need us to solicit for callers to tell us how
- 42:59Speaker 13: they think you did?
- 43:01Speaker 5: Oh?
- 43:01Speaker 2: Ain't no telling them what they gonna say. Go ahead,
- 43:06Speaker 2: let's give it a shot. Go ahead. Eight seven seven
- 43:09Speaker 2: twenty nine, Steve, How have I done since my uncle
- 43:12Speaker 2: has been gone? Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve, trying
- 43:16Speaker 2: not to hurt me too bad?
- 43:18Speaker 13: Okay, all right, so I've already given my opinion. I
- 43:22Speaker 13: think you've done enough.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Pretty good is what you gave me.
- 43:24Speaker 1: No, I said, I just recently sat outstanding.
- 43:27Speaker 2: So Carlo, I thought you were saying outstanding if I
- 43:30Speaker 2: got us to work on just Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, I
- 43:32Speaker 2: thought you was.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I was. Junior. And Carla, how would you
- 43:37Speaker 1: rate Tommy's leadership, Carla on the scale from one to ten,
- 43:43Speaker 1: and ten be the highest? Oh yeah, you're gonna be surprised, Tommy.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Oh here we agree.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Hurry four? All right, Junior, you know what tell me?
- 44:01Speaker 11: I ain't gonna lie to you. Man, I'm proud of you.
- 44:03Speaker 11: I'm gonna have to give you a team.
- 44:04Speaker 2: That's it. Wednesday Thursday, Man, I might write sign in
- 44:11Speaker 2: front of it, though he said he was putting a
- 44:14Speaker 2: negative sign in front of it.
- 44:16Speaker 1: All right, Frank, phone call with the nephew coming up next.
- 44:20Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 44:22Speaker 13: Morning show coming up at about four minutes after the hour.
- 44:25Speaker 13: It's my strawberry letter for today. The subject is he
- 44:29Speaker 13: called me the name that's tatted on him. But right
- 44:32Speaker 13: now it is time for the nephew and today's prank
- 44:34Speaker 13: phone called nephew.
- 44:37Speaker 2: All right, Sherley, this is right here, this is this

- 44:50Speaker 2: boogie current. You understand, all right, this is the electric
- 44:54Speaker 2: company now, but I want you to listen for the
- 44:57Speaker 2: aqua boogie current. Cat dog. If you could.
- 45:01Speaker 5: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach a Quincy.

- 45:11Speaker 16: I'm like, what's up?
- 45:12Speaker 5: Well, listen, we're doing some testing in your neighborhood. We're
- 45:15Speaker 5: trying to make sure we don't have to actually shut
- 45:17Speaker 5: the power down out there, and uh, we're we're calling
- 45:20Speaker 5: around to quite a few people in your neighborhood, running
- 45:23Speaker 5: some tests on individual homes and making sure the electricity
- 45:27Speaker 5: is running correctly. Can I get you to do a
- 45:29Speaker 5: few things forming see then, the quicker we get through
- 45:32Speaker 5: with this, sir, and as possibility, we won't have to
- 45:35Speaker 5: turn your power off at all. I know you don't
- 45:36Speaker 5: want us to have to come out and turn power off.
- 45:39Speaker 5: And you got stuff in your refrigerator that can spoil
- 45:41Speaker 5: and things like that. So we want to try to
- 45:44Speaker 5: get this done and hopefully the power with the with
- 45:46Speaker 5: the test that we run, it'll it'll run correctly and
- 45:48Speaker 5: we won't have to do anything.
- 45:49Speaker 16: Okay, electricity though, you know what I'm saying.
- 45:52Speaker 5: So no, no, no, I understand that. Don't worry about that.
- 45:55Speaker 5: Here's what I need you to do. Now. How big
- 45:57Speaker 5: is your house? What do you how many bedrooms? You got? Bedrooms? Now?
- 46:01Speaker 5: You have upstairs? Downstairs?
- 46:03Speaker 6: It's too sore?
- 46:04Speaker 5: Okay, all right, So here's what we need to do.
- 46:07Speaker 5: If you can't.
- 46:08Speaker 16: Ain't gonna take long though, Okay, I got it, because
- 46:10Speaker 16: I'm in a hurry, man, I ain't gonna have a
- 46:11Speaker 16: lot of time.
- 46:12Speaker 5: No, no, no, this this, this, this won't take long
- 46:14Speaker 5: at all. So can I get you to take your
- 46:16Speaker 5: breaker and shut down everything upstairs, and we're gonna run
- 46:20Speaker 5: a test on the stuff downstairs right now.
- 46:23Speaker 16: It'll be real quick, all right, just shut just shut
- 46:25Speaker 16: everything off.
- 46:26Speaker 5: I want you to keep the downstairs open and keep
- 46:28Speaker 5: that to the weakness so we can run our tests
- 46:30Speaker 5: on this thing.
- 46:31Speaker 16: All right, everything shut, everything's down.
- 46:33Speaker 5: Okay, you you turned off there.
- 46:35Speaker 16: I just turned off all the switches.
- 46:37Speaker 5: Okay. Here's what I need you to do. I need
- 46:39Speaker 5: you to turn on your television.
- 46:42Speaker 16: And then turn it off downstairs.
- 46:44Speaker 5: Downstairs. How many TVs you got?
- 46:46Speaker 16: I got two TVs downstairs.
- 46:48Speaker 5: Let's turn them both on you all right, they both on? Okay. Now,
- 46:51Speaker 5: you got a microwave in your kitchen.

- 46:56Speaker 16: It's already on, man. I can see the lights on.
- 46:58Speaker 16: It's got the clock on it.
- 46:59Speaker 5: That's got that double a tron thing that's going through there.
- 47:01Speaker 5: It's a whole different type of current.
- 47:03Speaker 16: I just want to, man, what you're talking about. But
- 47:05Speaker 16: I gotta get to work, man. So the microwavezone is running.
- 47:08Speaker 5: No, no, no, I want you to actually turn it on.

- 47:16Speaker 16: what you gotta do?
- 47:16Speaker 5: No, this is a test. So what I don't want
- 47:18Speaker 5: to have to do is come out there and turn
- 47:19Speaker 5: your power off. And I don't want to do that.
- 47:21Speaker 5: You got a lot of food in your fridge, I'm sure.
- 47:23Speaker 16: Right, all right, all right, Look it's on microwave zone,
- 47:28Speaker 16: TV zones.
- 47:29Speaker 5: Okay, now open your work.
- 47:31Speaker 16: Man, electricity works downstairs.
- 47:34Speaker 5: Okay, but listen, I know. But what we gotta do

- 53:37Speaker 2: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:39Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is strawberry letter.
- 53:42Speaker 13: You're welcome, nephew, I mean thank you, nephew, and you're
- 53:46Speaker 13: welcome to the subject. He called me the name that's
- 53:50Speaker 13: tatted on him, Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been dealing with
- 53:53Speaker 13: a man for a few years, but we can never
- 53:56Speaker 13: stay together longer than three to four months at a
- 53:58Speaker 13: time because he disappears for a days and then pops
- 54:01Speaker 13: up like nothing happened. We argue over other women a
- 54:04Speaker 13: lot because he refuses to be honest. That's how we
- 54:08Speaker 13: fell out again, and this time I don't think I
- 54:10Speaker 13: can look past his lives. He has four names tattooed
- 54:14Speaker 13: on his body, among his many other tats. His mama's
- 54:18Speaker 13: name is across his heart, with his daughter's name and
- 54:21Speaker 13: his baby mama's names under his mom's name. Way below
- 54:25Speaker 13: all of those names, there is a lady's name and
- 54:28Speaker 13: the words my girl below it. He told me that's
- 54:31Speaker 13: the name of his grandmother on his father's side that
- 54:33Speaker 13: he's never met.
- 54:35Speaker 1: I was gone right.
- 54:36Speaker 13: I was trying to ask his mom about the tattoo
- 54:39Speaker 13: and his mystery grandmother, but I didn't want to start
- 54:42Speaker 13: a big argument. For years, I have had sex with
- 54:45Speaker 13: him and I see several women's names on his body.
- 54:48Speaker 13: But last night I realize how crazy he thinks I am.
- 54:53Speaker 13: We were having the best makeup sex we ever had
- 54:56Speaker 13: because we have been apart for three weeks. I was
- 54:59Speaker 13: doing all of the things he loves, and he started
- 55:01Speaker 13: begging for mercy and calling me the mystery name, all
- 55:06Speaker 13: at the same time. I let him finish and I
- 55:09Speaker 13: told him what he said in the heat of passion.
- 55:11Speaker 13: He swore it didn't happen, and I honestly believe he
- 55:15Speaker 13: was too out of it to realize what he said.
- 55:18Speaker 13: I have been snooping around trying to find out who
- 55:20Speaker 13: this mystery woman is because now I am sure it
- 55:24Speaker 13: is not his grandmother. My tuition is telling me that
- 55:27Speaker 13: I should let him go for good, but I really
- 55:29Speaker 13: want to know who is who this chick is. He
- 55:33Speaker 13: never tatted my name on him, so why is she
- 55:35Speaker 13: so special? Really, you are asking the wrong questions here.
- 55:41Speaker 13: What man do you know shouts his grandmother's name out
- 55:43Speaker 13: in the heat of passion?
- 55:45Speaker 1: Where they do that Big Mama no, they don't do that.
- 55:51Speaker 11: You don't even know.
- 55:55Speaker 13: My grandkids call me mim. You don't even need your
- 55:59Speaker 13: intuition to know how stupid that is. It's not his grandmother,
- 56:02Speaker 13: it's the name of whoever he's seeing when he's.
- 56:04Speaker 5: Not with you.
- 56:05Speaker 1: This has been going on for a few years. You
- 56:07Speaker 1: should be tired of being used by him.
- 56:10Speaker 13: Now ask yourself if you want to continue to be
- 56:13Speaker 13: the woman he sees every now and again and then
- 56:15Speaker 13: disappears on you, and or do you want a man
- 56:19Speaker 13: that will be there for you and not call you
- 56:22Speaker 13: by anyone one else's.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Name during sex. Okay, this is simple, This is simple.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Those are your choices. Stop wasting your time with this
- 56:29Speaker 1: guy and allowing him to treat you like that and
- 56:32Speaker 1: calling you uh uh, this is crazy.
- 56:34Speaker 20: Tell me Gladys, Gladys, oh glass, oh oh, glad.
- 56:48Speaker 2: You got this all this? Why you got on his
- 56:51Speaker 2: pad on?
- 56:52Speaker 1: Gleass the body powder with the poop.
- 56:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. Maybe he in love with his grandmama.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Hell I don't know what you think you can you know,
- 57:05Speaker 2: maybe got a crush on her grandma. But her name, Gladdy,
- 57:08Speaker 2: it's an old ass name. Whatever the name he got
- 57:10Speaker 2: tattooed on. Want to is an old ass name, So
- 57:12Speaker 2: I don't know if it's Gladdys Ruby, uh, Joyce. It
- 57:19Speaker 2: could be Joyce, Okay, we're talking about Grandmama's that. It
- 57:22Speaker 2: could be Kindie, it could be kind of. These are
- 57:25Speaker 2: people who you got to start riding around town checking
- 57:28Speaker 2: these names. You got to start looking for these people.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Start out with Gladys, Okay, look for you a Ruby
- 57:36Speaker 2: or Joyce, or it could be together Ruby Joyce, you understand,
- 57:40Speaker 2: Ruben Joyce. It could be a Ruben Joyce, kind of Kinnie.
- 57:44Speaker 2: That's that's an old name. It could be that. Let's see,
- 57:47Speaker 2: uh uh, Veronica. It could be a Veronica. All right,
- 57:51Speaker 2: you could be looking for Veronica. You need to whoever
- 57:53Speaker 2: you're looking for, you got to be riding around town
- 57:55Speaker 2: trying to see these names. Start at the churches, because
- 57:58Speaker 2: these are old names. She will be at the church. Okay,
- 58:02Speaker 2: this name that you're looking for, you're gonna find a
- 58:04Speaker 2: Gladys at the church, or Joyce or Rubert Joyce. Uh,
- 58:08Speaker 2: Veronica at the church. Let's see. Let me see they
- 58:12Speaker 2: call her Ryanan for sure. I always be familiar with
- 58:15Speaker 2: that now, but go back Dorothy Ruth Dorothy Ruth is
- 58:23Speaker 2: who you're probably looking for. Dorothy Ruth. Or you could
- 58:30Speaker 2: do that, okay, uheda A T T A eda Okay,
- 58:42Speaker 2: it could be could Lee. You could be looking for
- 58:44Speaker 2: Lee now, okay, I want you all to know.
- 58:47Speaker 5: Uh.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Let's see Carolyn, Carolyn, Okay, all right, here's the names.
- 58:54Speaker 2: You got to start looking looking around town if you
- 58:56Speaker 2: want to find out exactly who this woman is. The
- 58:58Speaker 2: woman does exist, he does exist. So keep in mind
- 59:02Speaker 2: what time and say it. Gladys Rubert Joyce, you're going
- 59:09Speaker 2: up the list. Come on, Connie, Veronica, Dorothy Ruth okay,
- 59:16Speaker 2: Dorothy Ruth Ellaly all right, and then Carolyn, Uh, I
- 59:24Speaker 2: need to give you one moto.
- 59:26Speaker 1: You just said your favorite name.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Gwen. Yeah, Gwen, not not not now. I didn't been
- 59:35Speaker 2: in love with Gwen now now I could happen I
- 59:38Speaker 2: get Gwen tatted on me. Not now my favorite, but
- 59:42Speaker 2: one of the favorite times in my life. The best
- 59:45Speaker 2: chapter in my life was Gwen. I'm just letting y'all
- 59:47Speaker 2: know that.
- 59:50Speaker 13: All right, Diane, We'll have part two of our response
- 59:55Speaker 13: to the Strawberry letter coming up in twenty three minutes
- 59:57Speaker 13: after today's subjects, he called me the.
- 59:59Speaker 1: Name it's tatted on him. We'll get back into it
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening.
- 1:00:05Speaker 13: Morning show, it's time to recap today's strawberry letter. The
- 1:00:08Speaker 13: subject is he called me the name that's tatted on him.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:00:13Speaker 13: This is written by a woman who's been dealing with
- 1:00:15Speaker 13: a man for a few years, but they can never
- 1:00:17Speaker 13: stay together longer than three or four months at a time,
- 1:00:19Speaker 13: because she says he always disappears for a few days,
- 1:00:23Speaker 13: then he pops up like nothing happened.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:00:25Speaker 13: She said they argue over women a lot because he
- 1:00:29Speaker 13: refuses to be honest with her, and that's how they
- 1:00:32Speaker 13: fell out again, and this time she doesn't think she
- 1:00:35Speaker 13: can look past his lies. Apparently they were being intimate
- 1:00:39Speaker 13: and he called her the name of a woman that
- 1:00:42Speaker 13: wasn't her name, and this is the name of his grandmother,
- 1:00:46Speaker 13: or so he told her.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Okay, normal, Jeann't I didn't get that.
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: When you.
- 1:00:56Speaker 13: Anyway, she's mad that he called her this name and
- 1:00:58Speaker 13: the I mean they were having the best makeup sex
- 1:01:00Speaker 13: ever and he shouted out this name and it was
- 1:01:03Speaker 13: a name that he's told her was his grandmother's name.
- 1:01:07Speaker 13: What anyway, So she wants to know. Her intuition is
- 1:01:12Speaker 13: telling her that she should let him go for good,
- 1:01:15Speaker 13: but she just wants to know who this chick is
- 1:01:17Speaker 13: that he called her?
- 1:01:19Speaker 10: Who is she?
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: She said? He never tattooed her name on him, So
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: why is this woman so special? That is the question? Junior,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: you're up?
- 1:01:29Speaker 18: Okay, Well, clearly this man like names now this mysterious
- 1:01:34Speaker 18: grandmother you've never met, and he just calls you her
- 1:01:37Speaker 18: name just in the middle of having intimacy.
- 1:01:41Speaker 11: He just says it. Okay, So what name did you hear?
- 1:01:45Speaker 11: Is the question? That's what me and Tommy want to know.
- 1:01:47Speaker 11: What name Medeath was? Did he say Medeath?
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Wow?
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: Did he say that?
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: He?

- 1:01:59Speaker 11: it's the grim we've never met. Did he say Nana?
- 1:02:02Speaker 11: What do you say?

- 1:09:56Speaker 13: when I started getting serious with my boyfriend, they sprung
- 1:09:58Speaker 13: it on me. When i've I first met this guy
- 1:10:01Speaker 13: that I want to marry, my dad set it up
- 1:10:03Speaker 13: and paid the guy to take me out. He even
- 1:10:05Speaker 13: gave him a prepaid AMEX gift card to pay for
- 1:10:08Speaker 13: the date. I had just gotten out of a bad
- 1:10:10Speaker 13: relationship and my dad really wanted me.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: To move on.
- 1:10:13Speaker 13: They never expected me to fall for the guy, but
- 1:10:15Speaker 13: since I started talking about marrying him, they're now hating
- 1:10:19Speaker 13: on him. They called him a loser because he took
- 1:10:22Speaker 13: my dad's money in the beginning. My boyfriend said, it's
- 1:10:25Speaker 13: all true, but that was back then. But he's been
- 1:10:27Speaker 13: with me for almost three years, so that proves that
- 1:10:29Speaker 13: he loves me. I'm mad at everybody that I know
- 1:10:32Speaker 13: right now, and I just want to be happy.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: What do I do?
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Is my boyfriend a bum?

- 1:11:06Speaker 2: talking and ready to love. Okay. If you love this
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: man and he loved you, all right, then we may

- 1:11:13Speaker 2: to your daddy at all.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Wow, that was really good advice.
- 1:11:16Speaker 11: I'm shocked.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: And if and if daddy acts right, we might let
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: him walk us down the aisle. But then ten and

- 1:15:16Speaker 13: but Copany was determined to do more and raise more money.
- 1:15:21Speaker 13: We commend little Miss Flint on breaching her gold. She
- 1:15:24Speaker 13: is referred to as an activist by her peers. So

- 1:18:33Speaker 3: I should not be there.
- 1:18:34Speaker 9: I am not here. Wait a minute, all right?
- 1:18:39Speaker 13: Would you rather have sex with a consulting a consenting
- 1:18:42Speaker 13: stranger or would you rather have sex with an ex
- 1:18:45Speaker 13: consenting stranger or an ex?
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: Oh? No, I'm consented.
- 1:18:52Speaker 21: Hi.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: Hi, I'm Tommy, and uh it is such a pleasure
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: to meet you. And how do you want to do this?
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: I mean a week? Yeah, we ain't going back to
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: this the eggs. No, that's always been a stranger right there?
- 1:19:09Speaker 18: Anyway, Yeah, because I'm we're talking like, why doyall keep
- 1:19:14Speaker 18: throwing these exes? And if we don't want the exes,
- 1:19:16Speaker 18: we're not doing nothing with the exes a consenting stranger.
- 1:19:20Speaker 11: Hey, how you doing? Do you like steak?
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: I'm Timmy, I'm a comedian actor. Anything else you need
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: to know? Sall we get? Sall we get naked over here?
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: What do you want to get naked? Sounds so clinical?
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: All right, that's right.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Coming up? Thank you guys. That's today's rounded. Would you
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: rather coming up next? It is our last break of
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: the day. We'll close out the show right after this.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:19:49Speaker 10: Morning show?
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:19:50Speaker 13: Here we are last break of the day and of
- 1:19:52Speaker 13: the week. Actually this is Friday. It's been a good
- 1:19:56Speaker 13: day and we're looking forward to a good week, weekend
- 1:20:00Speaker 13: and all of that. All right, Steve, you want to
- 1:20:03Speaker 13: send everyone home to the weekend with some clothing.
- 1:20:06Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 1:20:07Speaker 8: You know, I was reading in my morning meditation this
- 1:20:12Speaker 8: thing that this girl that works with me on Family Future,
- 1:20:16Speaker 8: really nice lady. She's Christian. She praise for everybody, gives
- 1:20:21Speaker 8: a Scripture. She gave me this daily devotional book to read.
- 1:20:26Speaker 8: I've been reading it every morning. Man, It's really been
- 1:20:29Speaker 8: a great help to me. I think I've shared this
- 1:20:31Speaker 8: with you all several times. One of the things I
- 1:20:34Speaker 8: was reading about was about learning how to master time
- 1:20:39Speaker 8: and not allowing time to master you. Now, I got
- 1:20:44Speaker 8: a little stuck on this from right here because I
- 1:20:46Speaker 8: was saying, Okay, how do you master time and not
- 1:20:49Speaker 8: let time master you? And this Daily Devotional it was
- 1:20:55Speaker 8: reminding us that God created us a certain way. And
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: I'm gonna get to that in a second, because in
- 1:21:04Speaker 8: the Lord's Prayer is a clue as to how we
- 1:21:08Speaker 8: should approach each day. In the Lord's Prayer, about three
- 1:21:14Speaker 8: or four lines down, it says, give us this day
- 1:21:18Speaker 8: our daily bread. It's a very important line. And I've
- 1:21:24Speaker 8: taken the time to really study the Lord's Prayer. I've
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: taken the time to really understand twenty third Psalms Isaiah
- 1:21:31Speaker 8: fifty four seventeen Isaiah forty three, one and two. I've
- 1:21:34Speaker 8: really been rebeca two and to really been focusing on
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: really understanding as I meditate every morning. And one of
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: the things that it teaches us is give us this day,
- 1:21:48Speaker 8: our daily bread. Well, that's an important line, because what
- 1:21:53Speaker 8: you're asking for every day is for God to order
- 1:21:58Speaker 8: your steps just for that day. Now, it's not to
- 1:22:02Speaker 8: say that you don't have plans for the future, because
- 1:22:04Speaker 8: you do. But you can't do anything about the future.
- 1:22:09Speaker 8: You can't control it at all, all the circumstances that's
- 1:22:12Speaker 8: gonna beset you the next day. You can't do anything
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: about what has already happened. You know, it's the past.
- 1:22:19Speaker 8: In so many words, it's water over the dam. So
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: you can't do anything about the past. You cannot prevent
- 1:22:26Speaker 8: anything in the future coming your way. You know, you
- 1:22:28Speaker 8: can make a lot mentioning plans and stuff, but tomorrow
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: could bring some surprises. So the one thing that you
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: were created to do was master your day. God creedy
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: auted us where we deal in twenty four hour segments. Now,
- 1:22:43Speaker 8: don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that you're not
- 1:22:45Speaker 8: supposed to plan, have aspirations, goals, dreams, and have you know,
- 1:22:50Speaker 8: targets for everything inch by inch anythings. And since I
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: got that, what I am saying to you is you
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: function best in the now because the now is that's
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: the one thing that you have a say so in
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: and if you can learn to ask God to give
- 1:23:06Speaker 8: us this day our daily bread, just like the birds.
- 1:23:11Speaker 8: Birds don't have silos and bonds and storage houses. Birds
- 1:23:16Speaker 8: don't store food. Birds wake up every day. They sing
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: His praises in the morning, and then they get about today.
- 1:23:24Speaker 8: And don't God take care of it? Well, He's made
- 1:23:27Speaker 8: that promise to you. You hear old people singing this song.
- 1:23:31Speaker 8: His eyes on the sparrow, I know he watches me.
- 1:23:34Speaker 8: I didn't get that when I was growing up. I
- 1:23:36Speaker 8: heard it, I sang it when they church. But I'm
- 1:23:39Speaker 8: really starting to really understand that to give us this
- 1:23:42Speaker 8: day our daily bread, that's an important thing. And when
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: it comes to tomorrow, to worry about tomorrow is wasted
- 1:23:52Speaker 8: energy because there's nothing you can do about tomorrow until
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: tomorrow gets here. Now you can dry and start dressing
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: it there. But to worry about something is wasted energy.
- 1:24:06Speaker 8: Because I've been learning that worry cannot produce one extra
- 1:24:11Speaker 8: hour of life for you. By worrying. You cannot extend
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: your life one single hour do to worry. So if
- 1:24:23Speaker 8: you can't even by worrying, do that thing that's really important.
- 1:24:28Speaker 8: What you worry about the rest of it, for why
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: would you be worried about anything else? And that's what
- 1:24:35Speaker 8: I've been learning when it says to learn how to
- 1:24:38Speaker 8: master time, so time doesn't master you. If you lose
- 1:24:42Speaker 8: focus of today right now, your presence, your relationship with
- 1:24:46Speaker 8: God right now, and you got it all tied up
- 1:24:49Speaker 8: in your future with that wasted energy, you're gonna miss
- 1:24:54Speaker 8: some steps today. We were created as twenty four hour creatures.
- 1:25:01Speaker 8: We're in our absolute best when we are living in
- 1:25:05Speaker 8: the moment called now, the moment your whole focus is
- 1:25:10Speaker 8: on your future. You gonna make missteps today the moment.
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: Your whole thought process is about what happened to you
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: in the past and how you can't get over it.
- 1:25:21Speaker 8: That will cause you to make missteps today. And then
- 1:25:26Speaker 8: as you make these missteps today, you keep blaming it
- 1:25:29Speaker 8: on your past and God don't love me, and God
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: don't hear my cry. Now, Pardner, you keep holding on
- 1:25:36Speaker 8: to something in your past, or you keep worrying about
- 1:25:39Speaker 8: something in your future, and you're not focused on the
- 1:25:41Speaker 8: twenty four precious hours that He's given you right now.
- 1:25:47Speaker 8: The past belongs to history, the future belongs to God.
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: Now belongs to you.
- 1:25:54Speaker 9: It's yours.
- 1:25:54Speaker 8: That's why they call it the present, because it is
- 1:25:59Speaker 8: God's gift to you. Right now, make better use of now,
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: Stop worrying about the future, and let go of the past.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: Bail that's it, I'll drop yes, go ahead, all right, time, so.
- 1:26:16Speaker 9: Time, don't master you, hey man. Have a great weekend.
- 1:26:20Speaker 9: Told you.
