- 1:13Speaker 4: Turn. You gotta turn.
- 1:29Speaker 3: You have to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 4: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out, turn
- 1:46Speaker 4: the money.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Come on your.
- 2:01Speaker 7: Uh huh, I sure will coome on it, everybody. You
- 2:05Speaker 7: are listening to the voice, come on dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 7: one and on it. Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:15Speaker 7: I want to share something with you that I had
- 2:17Speaker 7: to come to the realization one time and even in
- 2:20Speaker 7: the reinvention of myself right now, I've had to come
- 2:23Speaker 7: to that and I want to share it with you today.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Give it to you.
- 2:28Speaker 7: I want to tell you about something that a lot
- 2:30Speaker 7: of people do in their life and I want you
- 2:33Speaker 7: to be aware of it. Here it is, don't get
- 2:37Speaker 7: stuck on yourself. You could be wrong.
- 2:41Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I said, don't get stuck on yourself. You could be wrong.
- 2:52Speaker 8: You know.
- 2:54Speaker 7: The reason I'm saying this is because people have a
- 3:00Speaker 7: tendency to once they make a decision about something, or
- 3:05Speaker 7: once they decide to go a certain path, they go
- 3:09Speaker 7: against all everything, anything, anybody says, anything anybody might do,
- 3:16Speaker 7: any other ruling they may come across. They shun advice,
- 3:23Speaker 7: They don't listen to counsel. They just I made the decision,
- 3:31Speaker 7: I'm gonna do it anyway. Don't get stuck on yourself.
- 3:36Speaker 7: You could be wrong, you know. Now, here's a sure
- 3:40Speaker 7: fire way to tell if you're wrong. If you don't see.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Any movement.
- 3:51Speaker 7: In the direction you've chosen, if you don't see anything
- 3:57Speaker 7: going right in that decision, if you feel as though
- 4:02Speaker 7: you're in a rut, if the wall you're climbing seems
- 4:08Speaker 7: so insurmountable that you ain't even moving an inch, and
- 4:13Speaker 7: every time you turn around you keep getting knocked by down,
- 4:17Speaker 7: knocked back down.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Don't get stuck on yourself. You know you could be wrong,
- 4:20Speaker 2: you know.
- 4:22Speaker 7: See, that's why it's important for people to always be
- 4:26Speaker 7: open to the reinvention of yourself. You know, you cannot
- 4:31Speaker 7: be afraid to reinvent yourself. In other words, you can't
- 4:37Speaker 7: be afraid to change. Change is necessary when it comes
- 4:42Speaker 7: to growth. There is no growth without change. The more
- 4:48Speaker 7: you know, the older you look, that is no growth
- 4:54Speaker 7: without change. If you're heading in a direction, it ain't
- 4:58Speaker 7: nothing going right in your life.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Could it be the wrong direction.
- 5:02Speaker 7: If you're climbing and you're making no headway, could it
- 5:05Speaker 7: be the wrong direction? Could you have possibly made the
- 5:10Speaker 7: wrong choice. Don't get stuck on yourself because you done
- 5:13Speaker 7: made the wrong stuff. It's okay to forgive yourself. It's
- 5:16Speaker 7: okay to let yourself off the hook. It's even smarter
- 5:20Speaker 7: sometimes to admit that you were wrong. You ever met
- 5:22Speaker 7: somebody ain't ever wrong? Have you ever met somebody you
- 5:27Speaker 7: talk to? They ain't ever wrong about nothing? Man, They
- 5:30Speaker 7: just it's they way or the highway. It's this is
- 5:33Speaker 7: my way, this is the I know people like that,
- 5:36Speaker 7: stuck on them power trips and all like that. You
- 5:38Speaker 7: know what I had to learn how to do. I
- 5:40Speaker 7: had to learn how to let them go on them
- 5:42Speaker 7: power trips.
- 5:43Speaker 2: But listen to this.
- 5:44Speaker 7: Though you're not taking me on that trip. Though you
- 5:46Speaker 7: going on that trip by yourself, I'm going in the
- 5:50Speaker 7: right direction. I've decided to stop the way. Okay, listen
- 5:54Speaker 7: to this person. This person, I decided to stop doing
- 5:59Speaker 7: business the way the way I was doing business. I
- 6:02Speaker 7: decided to stop to allow business being done around me
- 6:06Speaker 7: the way business was being done around me. You know,
- 6:09Speaker 7: the best decision I made was to allow for God
- 6:15Speaker 7: to have some say so and to offer me his direction.
- 6:21Speaker 7: I have found him to be a better driver than
- 6:23Speaker 7: anyone else I know. I have found him to know
- 6:27Speaker 7: more about the man he made than anybody else who's
- 6:33Speaker 7: merely associating with me. I have found it to be
- 6:37Speaker 7: a fact that my maker knows more about the vehicle
- 6:41Speaker 7: he created than does anybody else. If your Chevy break,
- 6:46Speaker 7: don't you take it to Chevy. You don't take your
- 6:50Speaker 7: Forward when it breaks down to a Toyota dealership. They
- 6:53Speaker 7: not gonna know everything that the Ford dealership would know
- 6:56Speaker 7: about the vehicle.
- 6:57Speaker 2: You know why, because they're not the maker of it.
- 7:01Speaker 2: So now, why are you letting?
- 7:03Speaker 7: You're letting your life being led, controlled and guided by
- 7:08Speaker 7: somebody other than your maker. I'm just asking you to
- 7:12Speaker 7: let's all take a common sense look at this. So,
- 7:15Speaker 7: if going to your maker is the best way, the
- 7:18Speaker 7: best decision I made in my business was take over
- 7:21Speaker 7: my brand myself and to allow the maker of this brand.
- 7:27Speaker 7: See without God, I'm none of this. I'm none of this.
- 7:29Speaker 7: I want you to clearly understand I ain't none of
- 7:32Speaker 7: this without him. I wish I could have the guts
- 7:37Speaker 7: to reach back there and pat myself on the back
- 7:39Speaker 7: for what I've accomplished in my life.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I wish I had the guts.
- 7:43Speaker 7: I wish the nerve of me because I know for
- 7:47Speaker 7: a fact that there is no way that I could
- 7:50Speaker 7: have manufactured the life that I have.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I could not even have thought of it.
- 7:55Speaker 7: It's no way I could have told you that this
- 7:58Speaker 7: was the route I was gonna take, and this is
- 8:00Speaker 7: the outcome because of it. I had no idea, no clue.
- 8:04Speaker 7: The one thing I had, though, was an unshakable faith
- 8:08Speaker 7: in God. I had an un and I just kept
- 8:13Speaker 7: believing in him. I kept believing that he had something
- 8:17Speaker 7: more for me. And then when I touched base with
- 8:20Speaker 7: him and asked him to show me what it is
- 8:22Speaker 7: what he had for me, Tada, the magic show began.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Because you know what he did.
- 8:28Speaker 7: He took all my natural abilities that he had given
- 8:31Speaker 7: to me, This gift that he gave me, that he
- 8:34Speaker 7: poured into me at birth, that same gift that he
- 8:37Speaker 7: poured into you at birth.
- 8:38Speaker 2: The moment you go to him and let him show
- 8:41Speaker 2: you that gift, and then guess what.
- 8:44Speaker 7: Once he takes what he naturally put in you and
- 8:47Speaker 7: put his super his superpowers on top of that. Then
- 8:52Speaker 7: you have some supernatural things going on in your life
- 8:55Speaker 7: and you may not be feeling me. I'm cool with that,
- 9:00Speaker 7: but I done have some supernatural things happen to me.
- 9:04Speaker 7: Every day I wake up some supernatural the man, the
- 9:09Speaker 7: rewards of my life, the awards of my life, the accomplishments,
- 9:13Speaker 7: the how I'm working, the how I manage it all,
- 9:16Speaker 7: all that ain't nothing but God. That ain't nothing but God.
- 9:19Speaker 7: You can't even explain this schedule to people. Sometimes when
- 9:22Speaker 7: people ask me, Steve, how do you do it? I go, well,
- 9:25Speaker 7: this is what I manage my time. Then at the
- 9:26Speaker 7: end of when I get through, I say, hey, man,
- 9:28Speaker 7: you know what I need to tell y'all for real?
- 9:30Speaker 2: It's God.
- 9:31Speaker 7: I don't really know, but I'm letting him manage me.
- 9:34Speaker 7: So he handling it. He ain't gonna put no more
- 9:36Speaker 7: on me than I can bear. Listen to me, y'all,
- 9:38Speaker 7: don't be afraid to reinvent yourself and remember this. Don't
- 9:42Speaker 7: get stuck on yourself because you could be wrong. You know,
- 9:47Speaker 7: you absolutely could be wrong. If you don't tie this
- 9:51Speaker 7: to your gift, you will be struggling the rest of
- 9:55Speaker 7: your life.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, here we go another day, another opportunity,
- 10:07Speaker 7: another chance, another gift from God.
- 10:10Speaker 2: That's all it is. Man.
- 10:11Speaker 7: You just got to look at it that way. So
- 10:13Speaker 7: let's just get it started, man, because today is a
- 10:16Speaker 7: great day. Thank you Lord for this day. All right,
- 10:20Speaker 7: let's roll. Charlotte Starberry called for real Mississippi Monica Jr.
- 10:24Speaker 7: And the legendary is nephew Thomas Jr. Yeah, what's on
- 10:29Speaker 7: your mind today?
- 10:30Speaker 1: Man?
- 10:30Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm gonna ask you about this uncle. Who's the
- 10:34Speaker 9: dangers of being? What happens to people when they get
- 10:37Speaker 9: bitter and they get angry about the situation when they're
- 10:39Speaker 9: trying to be successful? What's the what happens to a
- 10:42Speaker 9: person like that? What is the dangers of that?
- 10:45Speaker 2: Well, bitterness, I've found comes from two things.
- 10:50Speaker 7: A person becomes bitter because they're holding on to they past,
- 10:54Speaker 7: or they become bitter because they've not accomplished their future now.
- 11:01Speaker 7: And both of them have something to do with them.
- 11:04Speaker 7: And both of those are situations that this bitter person
- 11:09Speaker 7: created themselves. You know, my father used to say something
- 11:13Speaker 7: to me all the time about being mad about something.
- 11:16Speaker 7: He said, you got two choices, son, you can get
- 11:19Speaker 7: over it or you can die mad. Now which one
- 11:23Speaker 7: you want to do. And that's where you have to
- 11:27Speaker 7: draw the line with a lot of people. There are
- 11:29Speaker 7: a lot of people who just pick the option to
- 11:33Speaker 7: stay mad, to stay angry, to keep dwelling on the
- 11:39Speaker 7: hurt or the disappointment of something that has already happened.
- 11:46Speaker 7: You see it all the time, and what you got
- 11:48Speaker 7: to be careful of, folks, especially when you see it
- 11:52Speaker 7: coming from famous people. Let me tell you something about
- 11:56Speaker 7: famous people. Famous people, when you take the word famous
- 12:00Speaker 7: off of it, are people.
- 12:03Speaker 2: That's all they are. They are subject to the same
- 12:07Speaker 2: things you are subjected to.
- 12:10Speaker 7: Grief, loss, pain, hurt, joy, sorrow, glee, happiness, regret, all
- 12:23Speaker 7: of that. So be very careful when you put your
- 12:26Speaker 7: faith in people. When you say, oh, well this is
- 12:28Speaker 7: what they did. No, just because they did and they famous,
- 12:31Speaker 7: don't make it right. Just because I do something because
- 12:34Speaker 7: I'm famous, it don't make it right.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Man.
- 12:37Speaker 7: Know the truth for your own self. You can't hold
- 12:41Speaker 7: on to the past. You will become bitter, especially if
- 12:44Speaker 7: the past was negative. Now here's the other cause of bitterness.
- 12:49Speaker 7: I ain't where I want to be yet, Now, you mad,
- 12:53Speaker 7: I should have beensh I should have been and made
- 12:55Speaker 7: it by now I'm over forty and I still ain't
- 12:58Speaker 7: got no house. Okay, you do have somewhere to live,
- 13:02Speaker 7: don't you. But instead of you being bitter, like we
- 13:06Speaker 7: talked about the other day, why don't you take accountability
- 13:09Speaker 7: for the decisions that you made that got yourself where
- 13:13Speaker 7: you are and make the change. You don't have to
- 13:16Speaker 7: be bitter. But bitterness solves nothing now. And don't nobody
- 13:20Speaker 7: like being around a bitter person?
- 13:22Speaker 2: All right?
- 13:24Speaker 7: Nobody likes a bitter person here? They come everything wrong?
- 13:29Speaker 7: God damn man. So you're still telling them joke, Steve? Yeah, yes,
- 13:34Speaker 7: I thought you'd beating ran for office by now.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Coming up with thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 13:40Speaker 1: have the pastors with a word. Right after this, you're
- 13:45Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, everyone's quick
- 13:52Speaker 1: health question. Even though you're still thriving, still loving, still connecting,
- 13:57Speaker 1: did you know your immune system weakens with age. That's
- 14:00Speaker 1: where vaccines come in. They help train and strengthen your
- 14:03Speaker 1: immune response to fight off certain respiratory illnesses like flu,
- 14:07Speaker 1: new macascle pneumonia, RSV, and COVID nineteen this fall, ask
- 14:11Speaker 1: your doctor which vaccines you need and visit vaxicist dot
- 14:15Speaker 1: com that's vaexcist dot com to schedule one or more
- 14:19Speaker 1: of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer. It is time now for
- 14:23Speaker 1: Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam with a word.
- 14:29Speaker 5: Let me.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Let me clear my soak. No, no, all right, we
- 14:42Speaker 2: heal this morning.
- 14:45Speaker 5: You know.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Reciprocity of entanglement biguity.
- 14:52Speaker 7: That's right. We postulate bother or founda of our stuparity,
- 15:03Speaker 7: realizing that we is on a conglomerate scale of mbinguity,
- 15:13Speaker 7: Lord God Almighty, Yeah.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Death Jam has a version. We will follow along. Come on, Death.
- 15:24Speaker 8: We are going from the Book of Swim pastor from
- 15:30Speaker 8: the Book of Swim Swim oh okay, And it is
- 15:36Speaker 8: the second chapter, starting with the third birds, which says,
- 15:42Speaker 8: something got a hold of me lately.
- 15:46Speaker 7: Start right there. Something is going on and I can't
- 15:52Speaker 7: quite put a frank on it. Aria.
- 15:56Speaker 2: No, I don't know myself for anymore. Start right there.
- 16:02Speaker 2: It then popped off so frequently I don't know who
- 16:06Speaker 2: I am or any more.
- 16:09Speaker 10: Rin feels like the walls are closing in, and the
- 16:15Speaker 10: devil's knocking.
- 16:17Speaker 1: At my door.
- 16:18Speaker 7: Stop right there. You're crowded in here now the walls
- 16:24Speaker 7: is closing in. Stomap and swoll up. Yeah, devil knocking
- 16:33Speaker 7: at the door, ring.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Out of my mind?
- 16:37Speaker 10: How many times that I tell you I'm no good
- 16:42Speaker 10: at being alone?
- 16:44Speaker 2: Start right there. I told this good on several occasions.
- 16:51Speaker 5: That I.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Without you, don't care for being alone.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Rin, Yeah, it's.
- 17:02Speaker 10: Taking a toll on me, trying my best to keep
- 17:07Speaker 10: from tearing, tearing the skin off my bones.
- 17:11Speaker 7: Start right there, though, I've got myself in a situation now, yes, sir,
- 17:20Speaker 7: while I'm starting to feel like peeling peeled in the
- 17:25Speaker 7: skin right off of my bone, kind of like I
- 17:35Speaker 7: take the skin off a piece of salmon. Sometimes don't
- 17:41Speaker 7: want the skin. That's why I want to peel at all. Read,
- 17:46Speaker 7: I lose control when you're not next to me. I'm
- 17:53Speaker 7: falling apart in front of you.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Can't you see? Stop right there?
- 17:59Speaker 7: It ain't going good. Look over here. I'm coming apart.
- 18:04Speaker 7: After seams. My briches is busting loose, and the helm
- 18:11Speaker 7: is out the skirt, the buttons is off the shirt,
- 18:15Speaker 7: and the blouse I'm falling the part of can't you
- 18:19Speaker 7: see read when you are not.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Next to me, you're breaking my herd. Baby, you make
- 18:26Speaker 2: a mess of me.
- 18:28Speaker 7: Stop right there. This is a sad, sad sermon, no
- 18:36Speaker 7: joy in this hill. It then got to the point
- 18:41Speaker 7: where I ain't good without you. I done told you
- 18:45Speaker 7: that walls is closing in on me, a devil knocking
- 18:52Speaker 7: at the door. Nah, And got to the point where
- 18:56Speaker 7: I'm starting to peel the skin all of my bones
- 19:02Speaker 7: and no, I'm just no good without you, girl, Come on,
- 19:07Speaker 7: pat And I told you.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I put it in a song I wish I had
- 19:14Speaker 2: never met read.
- 19:16Speaker 10: Problematic problem is I want your body like a fiend,
- 19:22Speaker 10: like a bad habit bad Habit's hard to break when
- 19:26Speaker 10: I'm with you.
- 19:28Speaker 7: Stop right there, And this song is not This verse
- 19:33Speaker 7: is not getting any better. It's downhill from the beginning
- 19:40Speaker 7: of the verse or Teddy Swims it said it best.
- 19:48Speaker 7: I'm no good without you, and the walls closing in,
- 19:52Speaker 7: devil knocking at the door, peelt skin off my bones.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I can't live without what read?
- 20:02Speaker 10: Yeah they said, Yeah, I know I could do it
- 20:06Speaker 10: on my own, but I I want the real full moon,
- 20:12Speaker 10: black magic and it takes.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Two start right there, see now the song and went
- 20:18Speaker 2: off into voodoo nah.
- 20:21Speaker 7: They then took a tag magic and moon outside. This
- 20:27Speaker 7: ain't a this ain't a happy sermon. This is a
- 20:32Speaker 7: vibe or the breakup that didn't want to last. Somebody
- 20:36Speaker 7: wanted somebody to stay and and somebody told them that
- 20:39Speaker 7: they wasn't gonna stick around no more. You can peel
- 20:43Speaker 7: your skin off your bones all you want to. I'm gone,
- 20:46Speaker 7: She's not coming back. I want to thank that it's
- 20:51Speaker 7: will for putting such a pain for song together. We're
- 20:54Speaker 7: not opening the doors of the church this week because
- 20:57Speaker 7: we don't want no more sad people in here.
- 21:00Speaker 2: We're gonna go over here just cry about this being
- 21:02Speaker 2: bro Tennis.
- 21:03Speaker 7: Will we go open up the doors of the church
- 21:06Speaker 7: next week, But right now the doors of this church
- 21:10Speaker 7: is closed because I'll be in the back peeling the
- 21:14Speaker 7: skin off my bones.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Churchmen, Hey, man, say man, man.
- 21:23Speaker 1: And again, Reverend Motown and Deacon Death jam with a
- 21:27Speaker 1: word coming up next, it is asked the clo or
- 21:30Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building. Right after this.
- 21:34Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey everyone,
- 21:42Speaker 1: quick health question even though you're still thriving, still loving,
- 21:46Speaker 1: still connecting. Did you know your immune system weakens with age.
- 21:50Speaker 1: That's where vaccines come in. They helped train and strengthen
- 21:53Speaker 1: your immune response to fight off certain respiratory illnesses like
- 21:56Speaker 1: flu new macaco, pneumonia, RSV, and COVID nineteen this fall,
- 22:01Speaker 1: ask your doctor which vaccines you need and visit vaxsist
- 22:04Speaker 1: dot com. That's vaexcist dot com to schedule one or
- 22:08Speaker 1: more of vaccines sponsored by Peiser. Coming up at the
- 22:12Speaker 1: top of the hour, and entertainment news, Cartib apologizes to
- 22:17Speaker 1: her fans for asking them to buy her new album
- 22:20Speaker 1: while the economy is so messed up, And we'll talk
- 22:24Speaker 1: about a few of the false studies and research online.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Is it factual or not? That is all coming up
- 22:31Speaker 1: as the top of the hour, But right now it
- 22:34Speaker 1: is time to ask the clo. This is from Derek
- 22:37Speaker 1: and Philly. Derek writes, I'm dating a woman that lives
- 22:41Speaker 1: over an hour from me. I see other women because
- 22:44Speaker 1: I can, and it doesn't mean that I don't love
- 22:47Speaker 1: my girlfriend. I would be devastated if my girlfriend ever
- 22:51Speaker 1: found out. How do I remain faithful when I can't
- 22:55Speaker 1: be with my girl. Wow, what a dilemme?
- 23:00Speaker 2: That ain't no number. That's a stupid question.
- 23:03Speaker 7: You're asking me how do I be faithful without my girl?
- 23:09Speaker 7: And all your excuse is she stay an hour a way?
- 23:13Speaker 7: That's that's all.
- 23:13Speaker 2: It takes.
- 23:15Speaker 7: One hour drive and now you got to have somebody else. Hey, brother, really, dog,

- 29:51Speaker 5: What what?
- 29:54Speaker 2: Why would you say all night? I was talking to
- 29:57Speaker 2: this woman. That's the dumbest thing.

- 30:05Speaker 1: the dumbest thing.
- 30:07Speaker 7: But hey, double down on your dumb don't. I got
- 30:16Speaker 7: it was dumb talking to the woman. But the dumbest
- 30:19Speaker 7: thing was to go home and tell your wife you
- 30:22Speaker 7: was talking to the woman.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, thank you, sea,
- 30:26Speaker 1: Oh god, we'll have some entertainment news for you right.

- 30:48Speaker 1: we all know this. So here are some of the claims.
- 30:51Speaker 1: These are the latest claims on social media, and we
- 30:54Speaker 1: want to know from you guys, are they true or not?
- 30:57Speaker 1: What do you think? All right? Number one, A Harvard
- 31:00Speaker 1: study finds that women who don't cook for their husbands
- 31:06Speaker 1: have happier marriages.
- 31:09Speaker 2: That's a well I can tell you right now. We
- 31:13Speaker 2: can ask somebody on this show.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Well, when it was good, it was good, and I didn't.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Ye see see you and you ain't got to go
- 31:28Speaker 2: to the fellas.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I agree with this wholeheartedly. Yes, I agree with you.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Try it. Let's try it.
- 31:39Speaker 5: Well.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Cook study show women who don't cook for their husbands
- 31:45Speaker 1: have sure marriages.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Okay, now let's just go I don't really don't cook
- 31:51Speaker 2: for her husband?
- 31:52Speaker 1: No married?
- 31:56Speaker 3: Okay, I was.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I was very happy.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Right now.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Let's move on with the research.
- 32:12Speaker 2: I agree with you that right now.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Okay, So what's the research shows that people who constantly
- 32:20Speaker 1: hate on everyone and everything haters are high i Q individuals.
- 32:27Speaker 1: They have very high IQs. I don't know about that.
- 32:32Speaker 7: Well, you know, you gotta if you take a lot
- 32:35Speaker 7: of time to hate, it really does and you got
- 32:38Speaker 7: to research it, especially if you're going to be a
- 32:40Speaker 7: high i Q hater. You got to research who you
- 32:44Speaker 7: hate and have information. You see it on podcasts all
- 32:47Speaker 7: the time. Don't they sound very intelligent to you? Yeah,
- 32:52Speaker 7: sitting up there just be lying. Oh they seem high
- 32:56Speaker 7: i Q. Still a hater though, Okay, all right, okay,
- 33:00Speaker 7: so what's the answer.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I'm confused? Did we get the results?
- 33:04Speaker 2: Is there answer?
- 33:06Speaker 5: No?
- 33:06Speaker 1: This is what the research. Yeah, it's for you to
- 33:10Speaker 1: determine whether you agree with it or you don't, Whether
- 33:12Speaker 1: it's true or false?
- 33:15Speaker 2: What happened?
- 33:16Speaker 1: Research shows that.
- 33:18Speaker 7: People it's but it's actually a double canadra because if
- 33:24Speaker 7: you so high, iq, why are you a hater?
- 33:27Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 33:28Speaker 1: Uh huh exactly?
- 33:30Speaker 3: Sorry jealousy thing?
- 33:31Speaker 8: Right?
- 33:33Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 33:34Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 33:36Speaker 7: Yeah, because I always remember this or not, you will
- 33:38Speaker 7: never have a hater that's doing better than.
- 33:40Speaker 1: You, right, you always say that, you say that, all right,
- 33:45Speaker 1: here we go. Research has confirmed that men men find
- 33:49Speaker 1: women more attractive when they wear less makeup. True or false?
- 33:55Speaker 1: You guys like it?
- 33:56Speaker 2: Well, I thought you was going to say less clothes.
- 34:01Speaker 1: We know the answer to that one. Let's make up?
- 34:04Speaker 1: What do you guys think? Because there is a such
- 34:09Speaker 1: thing as too much? Right, there's a.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Such thing as too much? Yes? Too? Yeah, it looked
- 34:14Speaker 2: like a mannequin, you know, we know that in the
- 34:19Speaker 2: long eyelashes.
- 34:20Speaker 1: The lashes. Yeah, I know you're gonna say the lashes. Yeah,
- 34:23Speaker 1: so you would kind of agree with this one. You
- 34:26Speaker 1: agree with this one, let's make up. Women are more
- 34:29Speaker 1: attractive with let's make up.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Basically, well, it helps if you don't need as much.
- 34:37Speaker 7: Okay, barely made up and you still attracted, best not
- 34:43Speaker 7: need the makeup?
- 34:44Speaker 2: Please please put it.
- 34:49Speaker 1: By all means get down there to the department and
- 34:54Speaker 1: stock up. Yes, all right, this is one. I want

- 35:24Speaker 7: some of the stuff gets emotional. You can't let that
- 35:26Speaker 7: into the mix.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Okay, all right, junior, junior.
- 35:30Speaker 9: Well, my wife has book smarts. She don't have the
- 35:34Speaker 9: sports that I have to survive out here in the street.

- 35:41Speaker 2: If you don't bring your behind.
- 35:42Speaker 9: Back over here and sit down, that is not our business.
- 35:46Speaker 9: That's not something we should be able to talk about it.
- 35:48Speaker 9: You heard the man, he said what he said. Lead
- 35:50Speaker 9: that man alone. I'm gonna go ask him.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Go ask him. Okay, go ask him.
- 35:55Speaker 1: So you're telling her to stay, she wants to go

- 54:25Speaker 1: Wow, already I graduated high school in.
- 54:28Speaker 2: At six one. I went to college and grew another inch.
- 54:31Speaker 2: I was six too. Let's stop talking about height, because
- 54:35Speaker 2: they came in.

- 54:55Speaker 2: don't know nothing about it. He just on the subject
- 54:59Speaker 2: that day came. He's talking. Yeah, it's been. They never
- 55:08Speaker 2: had any of this right here.
- 55:10Speaker 1: It is something though, when your kids grow taller than you,
- 55:13Speaker 1: it is something more.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Definitely, I've never had that happen. I wouldn't know what
- 55:18Speaker 2: that is. Oh, I know what it is. No, ain't.
- 55:21Speaker 2: None of my key is taller than me. Went and
- 55:23Speaker 2: getting up there, but he ain't. He's not tolerant. He
- 55:26Speaker 2: ain't got no wa all right, and he's scared of
- 55:29Speaker 2: me too, So all right.

- 56:43Speaker 9: My good friend Shirley Strawberberry.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Thank you, junior. Subject he wants to be seen but
- 56:49Speaker 1: not heard. Dear Stephen, Shirley, My husband and I are
- 56:52Speaker 1: thirty four and we've been together for nine years and
- 56:56Speaker 1: married for three years. The only reason we are married
- 56:59Speaker 1: is because I gave him an ultimatum after six years
- 57:02Speaker 1: of dating. We needed to move this thing forward or
- 57:05Speaker 1: I was gone. He always had been very full of himself,
- 57:09Speaker 1: and the women and his family made him think he
- 57:12Speaker 1: was God's gift to the earth because he has eyes
- 57:15Speaker 1: that change color, and he's tall and very handsome. He's
- 57:19Speaker 1: a natural flirt and I tolerate it because I know
- 57:22Speaker 1: that if he ever left me, the woman would send
- 57:24Speaker 1: him right back to me. Here's the problem. He's not
- 57:28Speaker 1: a manly man outside of the bedroom. He can really
- 57:32Speaker 1: show out in that bedroom, but after that, he's like
- 57:35Speaker 1: having a child. All he cares about is getting the
- 57:38Speaker 1: latest trendy clothes, getting the newest watchers or sneakers, and
- 57:41Speaker 1: keeping his car clean and shiny outside looking in. He's
- 57:45Speaker 1: got his stuff together, but boy, oh boy, is he trifling.
- 57:49Speaker 1: He's got a great job and he's in a leadership position,
- 57:53Speaker 1: but his manager talks to him like a child and
- 57:55Speaker 1: doesn't allow him to speak up and make his opinions known.
- 57:58Speaker 1: His manager is even told him that he's not paid
- 58:01Speaker 1: to think.
- 58:02Speaker 5: You know.
- 58:03Speaker 1: As soon as I heard that, I wanted to call
- 58:05Speaker 1: his job and speak to his manager, but I had
- 58:08Speaker 1: to realize he's my husband and not my son. I
- 58:12Speaker 1: want him to focus less on how clean he is
- 58:15Speaker 1: when he goes to work and more on how he
- 58:17Speaker 1: represents himself when he is at work. The same thing
- 58:21Speaker 1: goes for our marriage. I need him over our finances,
- 58:24Speaker 1: upkeep of the house, maintenance of our vehicles, all the
- 58:27Speaker 1: manly stuff in a marriage. He'd rather be seen than
- 58:31Speaker 1: heard in every aspect of his life. It's been nine years,
- 58:35Speaker 1: and I'm done enabling him. Should I keep planning a
- 58:38Speaker 1: life with this man? Or let this one go? Well,
- 58:41Speaker 1: it's funny you should ask that because you know you
- 58:43Speaker 1: gave him an ultimatum to marry you, and you knew
- 58:47Speaker 1: all this stuff before you married him. Did you really
- 58:51Speaker 1: want to marry this guy? Because it doesn't even seem
- 58:54Speaker 1: like it. You should be asking yourself, why are you
- 58:57Speaker 1: acting like your husband's mother instead of his wife. Why
- 59:01Speaker 1: are you so critical of him? If he's as trifling
- 59:03Speaker 1: and as bad as you say he is, I don't
- 59:05Speaker 1: understand why you married him in the first place. Again,
- 59:09Speaker 1: these are the questions you should be asking yourself. You've
- 59:13Speaker 1: known him for a very long time, nine years. You
- 59:15Speaker 1: said he didn't just get like this. He's been like
- 59:18Speaker 1: this all along. Another question for you, why are you
- 59:22Speaker 1: trying to change him now? Could it be you're trying
- 59:25Speaker 1: to make him how you want him to be. For instance,
- 59:29Speaker 1: as far as the household chores go, you want him
- 59:32Speaker 1: to take over the finances. But what if he knows
- 59:34Speaker 1: nothing about finances. You want him to upkeep the house.
- 59:38Speaker 3: Is he a handyman.
- 59:40Speaker 1: If that's not going to happen, get a proper handyman
- 59:44Speaker 1: to do that kind of work. If he's not a
- 59:46Speaker 1: mechanic and you want more than just gas and car washes,
- 59:50Speaker 1: that's not going to happen either. I think you need
- 59:53Speaker 1: to manage your expectations of this man you married, and
- 59:57Speaker 1: you knew all about before you married him. You're his wife,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: not his mother.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: Again.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: You can't be calling up to his job checking his
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: boss because of the way he said his boss spoke
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: to him. That's for him to do. You said he
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: was a leader, right, You said that in your letter,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: that your husband is a leader. Well let him lead.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: It sounds like you wanted desperately to marry him, you know,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: thinking he would change. He didn't change. He's the same
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: man you dated for six years and now you're realizing
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: who he really is, and that doesn't seem to be
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: good enough for you. I would just love to hear
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: his side of the story, and one thing he would
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: probably say about you is that your boss Steve among
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: other things.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Well, you know, good answer, Shirley, I don't. It's a waste.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: He wants to be seen and not heard.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: Let's go y know both, y'all thirty four, you've been
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: together nine years, married for three and then you say
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: you begave him, ultimated him and eventually he marriage it.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: That's how you got him. Okay after six years.
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: Then you tell me that he's very full of himself
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: and the women in his family made him think he
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: was he was God's gift to the earth because he
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: has eyes that change color. Well, how bout my grandson
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: to transformer one time and it do the same thing.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: Transform My eyes turned red sometimes sometime they blue, you know,
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: but it ain't the best toy he got. Now, you
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: got a man that got his eyes that can change color,
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: and you ain't got the best man they got either.
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: He's tall and very handsome. Okay, so you just got
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: a little cute on him. The eyes is changing colors.
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: That means he light skin. God skinned people eyes don't
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: change colors. I'm telling you to be too shocked. You
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: roll dating little yell at boy out because his little
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: eyes can change. Because the dogs kill people, eyes stay
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: the same. So we know what dog chocolate man. I'm
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: telling you, Shereley, do kill people's eyes don't change color.
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: It'll be too much. You shouldn't have been here having
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: coffee with some fine dogskin chicken in her eyes change color.
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: You gotta get him out of here, that posy guy,
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: that polic guy. She fits to be stepping out your
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: TV when you get home.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: You need to get your out of this.
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: Yeah, he's a natural flirt and not tolerated because I
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: know if he ever left me, the woman was sending
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: him right back to me. Oh so you got somebody
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: don't nobody won't, but you would just let it go
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: into hell. Right here, here's the problem. And we're gonna
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: get to this when.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: I come back.
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: He's not a manly man outside the bedroom. What oh
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: hell no, we come back.

- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: is he wants to be seen but not heard.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: So this woman got this man that don't nobody else
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: won't seem like to me.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: They've been together nine years. She forced him to marry him,
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: but an ultimatum and everything. And then you know, he
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: thinks he God's gift cause his eyes change colors. Like
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: I said, I bought my grandson a transformer, do the
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: same thing, just cause his eyes changed color. Then we
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: come to the conclusion that he must be a little
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: light skined boy, little yellow bluffer darsky. And people eyes
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: do not change colors. It'll be too much. It'll just
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: be shot. Over there sipping your coffee. She looking over
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: the hedge and the mug, and all of a sudden
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: her eyes go green. You got to get the hell
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: out of here, because, like I said, the poet, the guy,
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: you got to get the hell out of here.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: She possessed.
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: And now he's a natural flirt, not tolerated because I
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: know if he ever left me, the women were sending
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: him right back to me. So now you got somebody
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: don't nobody won't but you. We left off right here.
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: Here's the problem.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: He's not a manly man outside the bedroom.
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: Oh boy, you got a man that ain't side and
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: that ain't a man outside the bedroom.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: So now you just got a big old, a big
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: old uh what they call it? A man child? You
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: got a man child.
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: Yeah, he a man in the bedroom and he baby
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: hughet out the bedroom. Just got a dipole, look like
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: this egg with a dipole. You hit that big giant
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: duck named baby Hugh. But he a man child in
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: the bedroom. He can show out in that bedroom. But
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: after that, it's like having a child who want that?
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: After why, you're gonna understand that you're letting the baby
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: climb on you.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: That's what you're gonna realize in a minute.
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: See right now that the man child parties being but
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: then his baby hue outside. After a while, you're gonna realize,
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: is baby Hwei that you're making love to.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Take your dive off.
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: Baby, come on in here and lay down there, clean yourself,
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: or you can come in. That's what it's gonna start
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: getting to. All he cares about is getting the latest
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: trendy clothes, getting the newest watchers or sneakers, and keeping
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: his car clean and shine outside looking in. He got
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: his stuff together a boy or boy, he's trifling, He's
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: got a great job, and he's in a leadership position.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Now listen to this right here.
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: But his matter talks to him like a child and
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: don't allow him to speak up and make his opinions known.
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: His manager has even told him that he's not paid
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: the thing. You know, as soon as I heard that,
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: I wanted to call this job and speak to his management.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Okay, so let me get this tress.
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: So now everybody know who he is, and everybody knows
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: who and what they're dealing with, even you. So now
- 1:07:07Speaker 7: your boss know who he is, the coworkers know who
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: he is, and you know who he is. But you're
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: the only one stuck with it. But I had to realize,
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: he's my husband and not my son. Why do you
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: even have to say that, Yeah, he's my husband, not
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: my son. I want him to focus less on how
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: clean he is when he goes to work, on more
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: how he represents himself when he's at work, and the
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: same thing going for our man. And that surely made
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: a good point him. I need him over our finances.
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: Suppose he don't know nothing about financial, upkeep of the house.
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: He probably knows something about that, because you know about
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: upkeeper himself, maintenance of our vehicle, all the manly stuff
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: in the marriage, y'all. Keep you keep asking this boy
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: to be a man when he ain't. He's a man child.
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: He's baby hearing he the bigger with the diaper on.
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: Stop saying that he is. When she married him, he
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: baby Hewett. Look up to the old cartoon baby Hewet,
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: a big duck with the big lips. Put that diaper on,
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: big lipp He'd rather be seen than heard in every
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: aspect of his life. He's been nine years and I'm
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: done enabling him. Should I be planning a life with
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: this man?
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: Or let this one go?
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: I think the bigger question is is he planning a
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: life with you? You forced him in the marriage. Of
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: course he did it because he a little boy. Mama
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: say I got you mad, I got you married. So
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: now after Boston told him shut up, he ain't paid
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: the thing, he shut up. He out there washing his
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: car right now, putting some new sneakers on. He cleaned
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: his hair, and he go to my eyes if and
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: he changed.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Again to his son.
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: What does each color mean, he's sunny outside. See like
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: if it's daytime, he son his eyes as a blue
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: turn into a blue denner to get into the evening.
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: They turned both great. He just he's a good Then
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: when we get through in the morning, I got to
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: wash him and brush his teeth so he can get it.
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: And then he gonna go down there and try to leave.
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: You better sit out and old me up before you
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: go to work, and each your finish show owe me
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: before you go to work. And then he can climb sometime.
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: Then he gonna run out of the house and get
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: into the get your back pack. He gonna leave all
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: his stuff at work. And then I got to see
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: him all right here. And then I got to go
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: out there and set his GPS so he don't get
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: lost on his way to work, you know. And then
- 1:09:38Speaker 7: he go down there to the work. And then he
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: climbed out the car smelling all good and wouldn't be gonna.
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: I liked him, but three women that send us back
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: to the house. And then Boston told him he can't
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: make decisions on his job. Lady, you want to quit
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: enabling him.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Stop all right. Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: You better know about baby Hughey'll get you some DAFTI
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: dup get you.

- 1:14:19Speaker 1: has a great body like she did back in the day.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: My wife knows that we used to date, and she
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: constantly asked me if I'm looking at her during the game.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: It's so annoying. How do I get my wife to

- 1:25:22Speaker 1: to our audience. Thank you so much for listening. We
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: appreciate you. Yeah, I'm keeping us number one all these years,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: the number one morning show, Steve Harvey Morning Show. That
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: isn't the world, babes in the world. That is a blessing.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Thank you, guys, we appreciate you so much.
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: All right, Steve, how it's a new week, Monday. What
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: should do this past weekend? Did you hang with your grandkids?
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: You know, I'm gonna have to work on that. I'm
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: not one of them grandparents, you know how grandparents? Dita.
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: I just love being a grandparent. I don't really see
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: that the same way. Really sentiment, No, that big a
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: deal to me, I don't. It just reminds me of
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: when they was kids.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: The parent kids, your children, your children. Yeah, yeah it does.
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: I didn't want to be your daddy.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: So Steve stopped saying stuff like that.
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: Well, listen to me, I did it.
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: I did a good job as a dad, great kids, Yeah,
- 1:26:25Speaker 7: my kids. I raised up some good kids, man. So,
- 1:26:28Speaker 7: but I don't like being a grandfather is just like.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: You know, I mean what it seemed like.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: And then you give the kids back to the parents
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: and you don't have to deal with them. You just
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: keep them for a little while.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26:43Speaker 7: But see, even when you keep them with a little while,
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: because I didn't have patience for kids, then I sure
- 1:26:49Speaker 7: ain't got nothing. Stop and then you know my son's
- 1:26:52Speaker 7: kids is they don't eat seafood. They were vegan for
- 1:26:56Speaker 7: a while. Now they eat beef, a chicken. Now they
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: don't eat seafood. And and and he don't allow cussing
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: around his kids. I really don't know why are y'all
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: over here?
- 1:27:15Speaker 5: Do you do that? Even though.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: I be trying not to.
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: But if I tell you to do something, you don't
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: do it the first time because I don't, I don't,
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: And Margine stops me all the time, Steve, Steve, stop
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: cussing around. Because I was talking to my son and
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: the subject came up. His little boy, my grandson, Ezra
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: had picked up a lizard off the ground, a little
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: Salamon de lizard.
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: Just picked him up.
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: So yeah, okay, And then Jason come talking about put
- 1:27:48Speaker 7: that down. I went and put that down. I said, Man,
- 1:27:52Speaker 7: do you know how much stuff could Jason used to
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: bring home? Jason brought home a snake, a lizard off
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: of iguana off Eggs list, and the housekeeper, let me
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: tell you, he bought this big black iguana with the
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: hood on it that opened up.
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: But he had him in a cage upstairs in his
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: closet in his room.
- 1:28:15Speaker 7: Oh, the housekeeper came downstairs screaming the alligator.
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: The alligator.
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: Now I'm in my office trying to figure out how
- 1:28:24Speaker 7: alligator than got that in the house. Now I go
- 1:28:29Speaker 7: out in the garage. I get a big broom and
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: I get a butcher knife, because I'm at least.
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: I gotta go this.
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: The alligator is the alligator pole. Little housekeeper just running
- 1:28:40Speaker 7: the alligator. Alligator. Now I don't know that my son
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: done bought this iguana lizard. So I'm upstairs. Sheep behind
- 1:28:48Speaker 7: me indy closet. Mister Steve opened the closet in a
- 1:28:52Speaker 7: big glass case. It's this big black iguana. And then
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: when I got up close to the case, it flared
- 1:29:00Speaker 7: that hood open and made that made that noise. I said, okay,
- 1:29:08Speaker 7: threatening me in my own house. Yeah, so I got
- 1:29:12Speaker 7: rid of to listen.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: And then I was yeah, you know, Peter probably listened.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: Yeah, don't do it.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: Don't do it because it was not the ethical treatment of.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: An Please don't say it. This is your chance to
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: opt out.
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: No, I just want him to know.
- 1:29:36Speaker 7: The data had a case, and I was sitting up
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: here explaining to my son how much stuff he used.
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: To bring home.
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: Oh, wow, okay.
- 1:29:48Speaker 7: And when I was talking to him, I said, man,
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: your little punk behind used to bring someone Steve.
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: Don't call him a punk in front of his children.
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: And I didn't even really mean to I was just
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: talking to my son. You know how you talk.
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: I get admonished all the time with the way I
- 1:30:01Speaker 7: talk to my sons in front of his kids. And
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: then I got to watch how I talk to the kids,
- 1:30:06Speaker 7: and I just don't want them over here no more.
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: Those are your options. You can't compromise.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: You come on now, because it's your house, and you
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: do what you want.
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: A grandparents, it's difficult. Wellcome, what is your role as
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: a grandparent?
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: What that?
- 1:30:24Speaker 9: They ain't tell us what the role is or what
- 1:30:26Speaker 9: your role is because your grandparents. Sure, I don't know
- 1:30:32Speaker 9: what to do with it with the kids.
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: I don't know, have no clue. I don't think I
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: have a role. I'm just Paul Paul. Now.
- 1:30:40Speaker 7: What I do is I try to introduce my kids
- 1:30:43Speaker 7: to stuff that they kid that their parents won't let
- 1:30:45Speaker 7: them do. Jason's kids can't eat a lot of sugar,
- 1:30:49Speaker 7: so that's all I give them when they come over.
- 1:30:51Speaker 7: I candy balls, all kinds of recent pieces Mniams. I
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: get them all that.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: Parents wishes, though, why well, they ate.
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: It when they was growing up, So why you would
- 1:31:03Speaker 7: sudden you don't want these kids to have nothing. I
- 1:31:05Speaker 7: think childhood you should eat Oreo cookies as a child, That's.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: What I think.
- 1:31:09Speaker 7: I think you should eat meeces, peanut butter cups as
- 1:31:12Speaker 7: a child. I think you should have ice cream. Oh
- 1:31:15Speaker 7: they eat dairy free ice cream. That's not ice cream.
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, so different.
- 1:31:22Speaker 7: My job was like I introduced my grandson BJ. He
- 1:31:26Speaker 7: was a vegan. I introduced him to ribs and he.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: Loved it was vegan and you gave him ribs.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:31:32Speaker 7: My daughter ran out there and said, Daddy, he don't
