- 0:00Speaker 1: So there's a question that a lot of people are
- 0:02Speaker 1: asking right now, and that is is there a real
- 0:05Speaker 1: chance that a red wave could be coming? They are
- 0:10Speaker 1: always signs when you're getting ready for a national election,
- 0:14Speaker 1: and there are signs that can tell you what could
- 0:16Speaker 1: be happening. One of those signs is one that happened
- 0:21Speaker 1: this morning, and it's a big one. Republican Lee Zeldon
- 0:26Speaker 1: has just taken the lead in the New York governor's race. Now,
- 0:31Speaker 1: this is a race where Republicans have not been putting
- 0:34Speaker 1: as much money into the race as they should have
- 0:37Speaker 1: because it seemed like it would be virtually impossible for
- 0:40Speaker 1: a Republican to win in New York. This is one
- 0:46Speaker 1: of those big oops, one of those big mistakes that
- 0:49Speaker 1: the Republicans have clearly made. Now, Republicans are going to
- 0:53Speaker 1: be rushing to fund Lee Zeldon because this new poll
- 0:58Speaker 1: says he's taken the lead in New York's ventorial race. Now,
- 1:01Speaker 1: to put this in perspective, you had Cuomo who was
- 1:06Speaker 1: the governor there less than a year ago. You had
- 1:10Speaker 1: a hardcore liberal governor that shut down everything, that advocated
- 1:15Speaker 1: for the shutting down of New York City, shutting down
- 1:17Speaker 1: of businesses, shutting down, schools, shutting down a virtually every
- 1:22Speaker 1: aspect of life in New York. This is the place
- 1:26Speaker 1: that had COVID nineteen mandates where you couldn't go into
- 1:29Speaker 1: a restaurant, into a bar, you couldn't go into anything
- 1:31Speaker 1: without showing proof of vaccination. The Democratic Party created that environment.
- 1:38Speaker 1: The Democratic Party was in favor of that. Now you
- 1:43Speaker 1: have a Republican in Lee's Eldon, who has said, I
- 1:47Speaker 1: think the people of New York didn't like it and overstepped,
- 1:51Speaker 1: and he went out there and decided to go and
- 1:53Speaker 1: attempt to ouice the Democratic governor Kathy Ojel, who is
- 1:58Speaker 1: the woman who replaced Chris com or actually say Andrew
- 2:01Speaker 1: Cuomo after the disaster that was his resignation. The poll
- 2:08Speaker 1: found that of the one thousand, one hundred ninety eight
- 2:12Speaker 1: likely general election voters, forty eight point four percent would
- 2:17Speaker 1: vote for Zelden forty seven point six percent would vote
- 2:22Speaker 1: for the Democratic candidate, the current Democratic governor. Is there
- 2:28Speaker 1: a chance that the Democrat could pull this off? Of course,
- 2:30Speaker 1: it's New York. There was four percentage points that were undecided.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Zelden leads a Democratic incumbent by less than a point
- 2:41Speaker 1: and within the margin of error. But the poll sampled
- 2:45Speaker 1: one thousand, one hundred ninety eight likely general election voters
- 2:48Speaker 1: from October the twenty seventh through the thirty first, with
- 2:52Speaker 1: a two point nine percent margin of error and a
- 2:57Speaker 1: ninety five percent confident level. The poll respondents were fifty
- 3:02Speaker 1: three point six percent Democrats, which is a very fair
- 3:08Speaker 1: makeup of the state, twenty seven point five percent Republican
- 3:13Speaker 1: an eighteen point nine percent had no party or other affiliation.
- 3:16Speaker 1: That is an accurate sample of New York. The majority
- 3:20Speaker 1: of the people in New York, they say that they
- 3:22Speaker 1: are Democrats. That's what they say. If you had a
- 3:26Speaker 1: poll that was fifties fifty, you would have a bad poll.
- 3:30Speaker 1: You need more Democrats in your poll than Republicans because
- 3:33Speaker 1: that's the makeup of the stake. Now, the poll comes
- 3:36Speaker 1: just one day after The New York Times published a
- 3:39Speaker 1: story explaining how ze elden surging in the polls had
- 3:43Speaker 1: caused the national Democrats to worry about the race and
- 3:47Speaker 1: therefore the effect a major upset would have on downballot
- 3:52Speaker 1: races in the state if he was able to win.
- 3:55Speaker 1: This was in the New York Times. It's an article
- 3:58Speaker 1: They never could have imagined they had right. Similar to
- 4:01Speaker 1: what happened in Virginia last year. Is how the New
- 4:04Speaker 1: York Times described it. When you had a shocker there
- 4:08Speaker 1: because then Kennet Glen Yunkin was looked out by the
- 4:13Speaker 1: leftist no chance in hell of winning, and sure enough
- 4:15Speaker 1: Glen Yonkin is now the governor of Virginia. Down ballot
- 4:19Speaker 1: races also went for the Republicans in Virginia. In that state,
- 4:25Speaker 1: it was pretty big. The Times reported the Democratic Governor Association,
- 4:31Speaker 1: known as the DGA, has thrown money into the race
- 4:34Speaker 1: after initially not planning on spending anything and a sign
- 4:38Speaker 1: of how close the governor's race has gotten. The Democratic
- 4:41Speaker 1: govern Association as foul paywork in recent days to form
- 4:45Speaker 1: a superpack in New York that will prop up the
- 4:48Speaker 1: Democratic governor on TV and try to save off losses
- 4:53Speaker 1: further down the ballot. After watching from the sidelines for months,
- 4:58Speaker 1: the group will now join promi labor groups and rushing
- 5:01Speaker 1: to start spending on behalf of the Democratic Party in
- 5:05Speaker 1: the race's final days, as there are now major concerns
- 5:08Speaker 1: that Democrats are scrambling to ensure that their base turns
- 5:12Speaker 1: out to vote, specifically Union voters. The Democratic Governor Association
- 5:19Speaker 1: had not initially planned to spend a single dollar in
- 5:23Speaker 1: the race, but it's polls of Titan and the Republican
- 5:26Speaker 1: Governor's Association. It's dumped now two million into a pro
- 5:30Speaker 1: Zelden superpack. The Democrats decided that they had to act
- 5:35Speaker 1: to protect the state. A spokesman for the Democratic Government Association,
- 5:41Speaker 1: David Turner, did not say how much they planned to spend,
- 5:44Speaker 1: but did say we are involved and now we know
- 5:47Speaker 1: exactly what's happening. Joe Rogan, who many of you may know,
- 5:52Speaker 1: is a very blunt man, a podcast term UFC announcer.
- 5:58Speaker 1: He has said. Joe Rogan said on the upcoming midterm
- 6:01Speaker 1: red wave quote, it's going to be like the elevator
- 6:03Speaker 1: doors opening up in the shining Yeah. Joe Rogan, the
- 6:07Speaker 1: host of Joe Rogan Experience, said during a recent show
- 6:10Speaker 1: that he believes the upcoming midterm elections are going to
- 6:12Speaker 1: be a blood bath for Democrats. Rogan made the remarks
- 6:16Speaker 1: while speaking to a comedian about the culture fear that
- 6:19Speaker 1: exists in America where people can't and don't feel like
- 6:22Speaker 1: they can voice their opinions without facing backlash. Rogan made
- 6:26Speaker 1: the remarks after his comedian friends said that she believes
- 6:31Speaker 1: that a lot of people who bind to the transgender
- 6:33Speaker 1: movement do so to signal that they're part of the
- 6:36Speaker 1: high status in group. Yeah, it's real strange, Rogan said,
- 6:41Speaker 1: It's real strange to just openly accept all this stuff
- 6:44Speaker 1: without any pushback. So I think people will be I
- 6:47Speaker 1: think there will be pushback, though again, I think we're
- 6:50Speaker 1: seeing it in Europe and they are like leaders of
- 6:53Speaker 1: this kind of movement, and now it seems like that
- 6:56Speaker 1: it's coming to our senses. We're coming to our senses
- 6:59Speaker 1: a little bit and following science, I don't necessarily see that,
- 7:02Speaker 1: although we might see that in the midterms, you know,
- 7:05Speaker 1: and again, people tend to voice their opinions on these
- 7:08Speaker 1: things at the ballot when they don't have their voice,
- 7:12Speaker 1: When they don't have to voice their opinion, they just
- 7:15Speaker 1: get to push a button. End quote. There's a lot
- 7:18Speaker 1: of people that are afraid of talking about it. I
- 7:22Speaker 1: want you to hear a little bit more of this conversation.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That's an important one, and I agree with Rogan on
- 7:28Speaker 1: this one. I think people are terrified to say what
- 7:30Speaker 1: they believe. The red wave that's coming is going to
- 7:33Speaker 1: be like the elevator doors opening up on the shining.
- 7:39Speaker 1: That's what I think. I think people are just like
- 7:41Speaker 1: what the as you can hear, he was very blunt.
- 7:45Speaker 1: They're tired of it. They're like saying, what the blanket
- 7:48Speaker 1: is going on? What the blankets going on? Like, what's
- 7:51Speaker 1: going on? And those people, what's going to be responsible
- 7:53Speaker 1: for the red wave? I think the red wave that's
- 7:55Speaker 1: coming is going to be like the elevator doors opening
- 7:57Speaker 1: and the shining, and then I think people are just like,
- 8:00Speaker 1: what the blank is going on? By the way, I
- 8:04Speaker 1: couldn't agree with Joe Rogan more on this one. People
- 8:08Speaker 1: are tired of censorship. They're tired of being told that
- 8:10Speaker 1: you have to believe insane and stupid things like a
- 8:13Speaker 1: girl as a boy or a boy is a girl.
- 8:16Speaker 1: People are tired of being censored in silent per example,
- 8:19Speaker 1: Elon Musk has sparked a media freak out by limiting
- 8:23Speaker 1: employee access to Twitter censorship tools. He's the new CEO,
- 8:27Speaker 1: but they don't like that he's the new CEO, and
- 8:30Speaker 1: now they're going insane. I'll give you an example. Apparently
- 8:33Speaker 1: Elon Musk, as he's cleaning house over at Twitter has
- 8:37Speaker 1: limited Twitter employees access to content moderation tools. In his
- 8:42Speaker 1: first week of ownership, as he promised a radical change
- 8:45Speaker 1: in course on censorship, the media predictably went freak out mode,
- 8:51Speaker 1: claiming that the sky is falling. Bloomberg reports a elon
- 8:55Speaker 1: must Twitter has frozen some employees access tools designed to
- 8:59Speaker 1: enforce the sight its content moderation policies, curtailing the power
- 9:04Speaker 1: of employees to ban accounts, remove posts, and other acts
- 9:08Speaker 1: of censorship, and what the outlet says curbs estabsability to
- 9:11Speaker 1: clamp down a misinformation ahead of a major US election.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Via Bloomberg, they say most people who work in Twitter's
- 9:20Speaker 1: trust and safety organization are currently unable to alter or
- 9:25Speaker 1: penalize accounts at break rules around misleading information or offensive
- 9:31Speaker 1: posts hate speech, except for the most high impact violations
- 9:36Speaker 1: that would involve real world harm. According to people familiar
- 9:39Speaker 1: with the matter, those posts were prioritized for manual enforcement.
- 9:43Speaker 1: They said. People who were on a call to enforce
- 9:47Speaker 1: Twitter's policies during Brazil's presidential election did get access to
- 9:52Speaker 1: the internal tools on Sunday, but in a limited capacity.
- 9:56Speaker 1: According to two people on the call, the company is
- 10:00Speaker 1: still utilizing automated enforcement technology, and third party contractors, according
- 10:05Speaker 1: to one person, though the highest profile violations are typically
- 10:09Speaker 1: reviewed by actual Twitter employees. The concern that the social
- 10:14Speaker 1: media company, which jettisoned trust and safety art censor as
- 10:19Speaker 1: well as the CEO brought together, they said, is the
- 10:23Speaker 1: problem because they're all a bunch of liberals, So can
- 10:28Speaker 1: you really trust them? The answer is no. The drastic
- 10:33Speaker 1: change in content moderation could potentially affect Twitter's Trust and
- 10:36Speaker 1: Safety team's ability to both modern enforced moderation policies ahead
- 10:41Speaker 1: the US midterm elections on November the eighth, they wrote
- 10:43Speaker 1: Rolling Stones Reporter in a tell all article. This morning,
- 10:48Speaker 1: The Times also picked up the narrative, ran the headline
- 10:50Speaker 1: Twitter limits content moderation ahead of the midterm elections to
- 10:54Speaker 1: the media, it is not an expectation, rather than a
- 10:57Speaker 1: matter of controversy, that social media platforms will ramp up
- 11:01Speaker 1: censorship and interference ahead of an election. A leftist holdover
- 11:06Speaker 1: at Twitter who wants to cry Donald Trump as quote
- 11:09Speaker 1: a racist tangerine and complain about actual Nazis in the
- 11:13Speaker 1: White House, but who for now has the supportive musk
- 11:17Speaker 1: attempted to calm the media fears by saying, this is
- 11:19Speaker 1: exactly what we or any company should be doing in
- 11:22Speaker 1: the midst of a corporate transition to reduce opportunities for
- 11:25Speaker 1: inside a risk. We're still enforcing our rules at scale.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Roth tweeted, who currently leads Twitter safety and an integrity team,
- 11:35Speaker 1: this is the same guy that actually wrote in all
- 11:37Speaker 1: caps actual Nazis in the White House referring to Trump.
- 11:41Speaker 1: He wants to cried Trump as a racist tangerine. And
- 11:44Speaker 1: that's the guy that we're supposed to trust who's going
- 11:46Speaker 1: to make decisions on who is safe and who is not.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Never ever bow to these people. Now, this goes back
- 11:55Speaker 1: to why I said earlier, I think this is a
- 11:57Speaker 1: big red wave coming. I think this is a huge
- 12:01Speaker 1: red wave that's about to happen. I think this is
- 12:04Speaker 1: a red wave that people don't realize, and we could
- 12:08Speaker 1: win some seats like the New York Governor's race. Now
- 12:10Speaker 1: they're going to do everything again to make sure that
- 12:12Speaker 1: doesn't happen. Rightly, I totally understand that they're gonna do
- 12:17Speaker 1: whatever they can possibly do to stop it. But I
- 12:21Speaker 1: still think there's a very good chance that we could
- 12:26Speaker 1: see a significant red wave coming in the future. Now,
- 12:31Speaker 1: before I get into more of this story, I want
- 12:33Speaker 1: to say thank you and tell you about our good
- 12:34Speaker 1: friends at Legacy Precious Metals. Without them, the show wouldn't
- 12:37Speaker 1: be possible. And if you have not looked at gold
- 12:41Speaker 1: and silver as a way to protect your hard earned
- 12:43Speaker 1: dollars against what they happening on Wall Street with inflation,
- 12:47Speaker 1: it's time for you to call them and get the
- 12:49Speaker 1: free Investor's Guide. Why because so many around the world
- 12:52Speaker 1: are now using gold and silver, and historically they have
- 12:55Speaker 1: for decades as a protection a hedge against inflation, which
- 12:59Speaker 1: is exactly what we're dealing with right now. If you're
- 13:01Speaker 1: terrified to look at your retirement account you're four one
- 13:04Speaker 1: case statement because of what's happening on Wall Street. That's
- 13:08Speaker 1: all the more reason why you should call and get
- 13:09Speaker 1: the investors got in gold and silver, protect your hard
- 13:12Speaker 1: earned money and diversify. Call them and get the free
- 13:15Speaker 1: Investor's Guide from Legacy Precious Medals one eight six, six

- 13:29Speaker 1: PM investments dot com. Signs of the New York Governor's
- 13:35Speaker 1: Race virtually a virtual time, maybe even a lead for
- 13:37Speaker 1: the Republican candidate. Are shocking the world. Now that means
- 13:42Speaker 1: that Lee's Eldon. As he takes the lead, the New
- 13:44Speaker 1: York Governor's race is going to be attacked and they're
- 13:47Speaker 1: gonna spend countless dollars to make sure he doesn't win
- 13:50Speaker 1: in New York. I'm not saying, I want to make
- 13:52Speaker 1: this clear. I'm not saying that he's gonna win. I'm
- 13:56Speaker 1: just saying it could tell us a lot. Now, there's
- 13:58Speaker 1: something else that's really happening that's so cool. New York
- 14:01Speaker 1: City Latino grocers raise seventy thousand for Lee Zeldon after
- 14:07Speaker 1: history of voting Democrat, which is also something else that
- 14:10Speaker 1: Democrats should have been paying attention to. There was a
- 14:14Speaker 1: and this is just one of those stories about how
- 14:16Speaker 1: you know things can happen like red waves. There's a
- 14:19Speaker 1: coalition of mainly Latino supermarket owners in New York City
- 14:23Speaker 1: that are showing major support for the Republican governor. They're
- 14:27Speaker 1: tired of the stores being robbed, They're tired of the
- 14:30Speaker 1: flash mobs, they're tired of the loitering outside and the
- 14:33Speaker 1: looting of their stores. They have endured rapid shoplifting in
- 14:38Speaker 1: their stores, Democrats doing nothing to stop it. So this coalition,
- 14:45Speaker 1: these small Latino supermarkets, raise seventy grand to back Zelden.
- 14:50Speaker 1: As the election is approaching, The New York Post has
- 14:53Speaker 1: just reported seventy enturebreneurs operating supermarkets, including Foodtown, Fine Fare
- 15:00Speaker 1: and Met Foods, are reportedly giving a thousand eats as
- 15:03Speaker 1: Eldon during a fundraiser in Queens. The congressman is vowed
- 15:08Speaker 1: to go hard against criminals who target grocers. It is
- 15:11Speaker 1: a message that has not fallen on death Ears, according
- 15:14Speaker 1: to the leader of the government relation for the National
- 15:17Speaker 1: Supermarket Association. These are Hispanic supermarket owners who have previously
- 15:23Speaker 1: voted for Democrats, they said during an interview, adding they
- 15:26Speaker 1: have become very weary of the situation and they wanted
- 15:29Speaker 1: results because they're getting picked off left and right. We
- 15:32Speaker 1: are frustrated and tired of Democrats saying that bail reform
- 15:35Speaker 1: is not affective crime. Negatively, that's what a Democrat who
- 15:39Speaker 1: owns a pair of supermarkets and the Bronx said, adding
- 15:41Speaker 1: we are seeing a different reality. The Latino supermarket owners said,
- 15:46Speaker 1: we've got to get involved and we have to back
- 15:51Speaker 1: the Republican Social media users also reacting to the post story,
- 15:55Speaker 1: one person saying, bless those that have given as well
- 15:58Speaker 1: those who want to. But we but are We are
- 16:01Speaker 1: running out of time. Latinos and all New Yorkers want
- 16:05Speaker 1: safety in their neighborhoods. They just want to feel safe.
- 16:10Speaker 1: They want to actually be safe, not just feel safe.
- 16:14Speaker 1: New York definitely needs to change. Democrats are in office now,
- 16:18Speaker 1: so why would you reelect them? Another one commented. During
- 16:22Speaker 1: Tuesday's big debate, Zelden said he is running to win
- 16:25Speaker 1: the governorship to fight crime in the state, saying about
- 16:29Speaker 1: the current governor that she supports Castles's Bell, He said,
- 16:31Speaker 1: I do not. Zelden said, as soon as they got implemented,
- 16:35Speaker 1: she was out there bragging about it. She chose the
- 16:37Speaker 1: champion of the defund the police movement and the architects
- 16:41Speaker 1: of Castleis's bail, Brian Benjamin, to be her lieutenant governor. Yeah,
- 16:45Speaker 1: that guy who got arrested and had to resign. That
- 16:48Speaker 1: was their first big decision to make as governor. We
- 16:52Speaker 1: need to repeal cast Less bail. We need to make
- 16:55Speaker 1: our streets safe again. I'm running to take back our
- 16:58Speaker 1: streets and to support on a apologeltically are men and
- 17:01Speaker 1: women in law enforcement Skyrocketing? Crime is among the main
- 17:05Speaker 1: issues for American voters looking towards the fast approaching midterm elections.
- 17:12Speaker 1: That's where the Rasmusan poll found in August that it
- 17:15Speaker 1: was becoming the number one issue in many liberal cities
- 17:18Speaker 1: where crime is in fact out of control. It's all
- 17:23Speaker 1: about paying attention. If you pay attention to what's happening,
- 17:28Speaker 1: then you know and you're not shocked by this when
- 17:31Speaker 1: it's happening. That's a point that people need to understand.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Democrats have been asleep at the wheel. Democrats have not
- 17:40Speaker 1: been paying attention to what the people are actually saying.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Democrats need to understand this is happening. And this is
- 17:49Speaker 1: the reason why this red wave could continue. Because in
- 17:51Speaker 1: democratic led cities where this type of stuff is going on,
- 17:56Speaker 1: get ready, because I'm telling you right now it's going
- 17:58Speaker 1: to happen again. There could be another red wave in
- 18:01Speaker 1: two years. The reason why is exactly as I stated it.
- 18:06Speaker 1: The reason why is simple. The reason why is because
- 18:09Speaker 1: Democrats are taking for granted what's going on with the
- 18:14Speaker 1: issue of crime. We're seeing it right here in the
- 18:15Speaker 1: mid South. We're seeing people that are not going to jail.
- 18:19Speaker 1: They're getting arrested for comming crimes, are getting right back
- 18:22Speaker 1: out on the streets. It's a problem. You know. You
- 18:26Speaker 1: look at crime in this country and I do believe
- 18:29Speaker 1: it's the number one local issue. It's not green, you know,
- 18:33Speaker 1: alternative energy, It's about crime. NBC even put it this
- 18:40Speaker 1: way about crime and the economy on yesterday on their
- 18:44Speaker 1: show This is New from Gallup. They ask folks the
- 18:47Speaker 1: issues they consider the most important, very important, and you
- 18:49Speaker 1: see the economy, tops of abortion, second, crime, gun policy, immigration.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Then you ask folks who say these are the most
- 18:56Speaker 1: important issues to them, how they intend to vote. I
- 19:00Speaker 1: think this is interesting too, because look at this. On
- 19:02Speaker 1: all but one of these topics, Republicans have an advantage,
- 19:06Speaker 1: and on three of them, the economy, crime, immigration, Republicans
- 19:10Speaker 1: have massive advantages over Democrats. So when you look at
- 19:14Speaker 1: this issue set, you look at how these voters are
- 19:17Speaker 1: breaking along these issues, you see what looks like a
- 19:19Speaker 1: significant Republican advantage. But again you go back to that
- 19:22Speaker 1: generic ballot and this is not right now looking like
- 19:25Speaker 1: a runaway in the polls for Republicans. Crime has been
- 19:28Speaker 1: the sleeper issue when I go out and talk to
- 19:30Speaker 1: voters in some of these states. You know, it's not scientific,
- 19:33Speaker 1: but it's just one of those things that keeps coming
- 19:35Speaker 1: up that I feel like maybe we miss in some
- 19:37Speaker 1: of our conversations. Otherwise, I love how NBC is like, oh, yeah,
- 19:41Speaker 1: we missed this one. Yeah, we kind of miss it sometimes,
- 19:44Speaker 1: right right, we have this now CNN this morning try
- 19:47Speaker 1: to claim that Democrats actually have a really good understanding
- 19:53Speaker 1: on crime and are doing a very good job. Christian
- 19:55Speaker 1: powers On said, Democrats, look, they got a good record
- 19:58Speaker 1: on crime. That's a lie. But this is the way
- 20:00Speaker 1: you spent it eight days out from election day or
- 20:02Speaker 1: seven days out from election day, shoe that is driving
- 20:07Speaker 1: Most people say that's the most important factor. But second
- 20:10Speaker 1: is crime. And I'll tell you in June Gallop didn't
- 20:14Speaker 1: even ask about crime. That's the which speaks to it's
- 20:17Speaker 1: sort of the dark horse issue. And now, look, Republicans
- 20:21Speaker 1: look very Republican strategists look very smart. They have been
- 20:23Speaker 1: spending tens of millions of dollars on ads on crime
- 20:26Speaker 1: for months now. They fund the police end in cash bail.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I was watching the Georgia governor debate last night. I
- 20:33Speaker 1: know I'm a little Nerdy. I was watching Georgia governor
- 20:35Speaker 1: debate and Brian Kemp used that against Stacy Abrahams in
- 20:38Speaker 1: a governor's race, right, which is a little odd, but
- 20:42Speaker 1: that issue. People are worried local crime. People are more
- 20:46Speaker 1: concerned about local crime than they've been in fifty years
- 20:49Speaker 1: of Gallup polling. And I just think we talked about
- 20:52Speaker 1: the economy. The economy matters. Apportion clearly matters for the
- 20:54Speaker 1: Democratic base. You know, I'm not trying to discount that,
- 20:57Speaker 1: but circle crime and notice how mey crime ads are
- 21:00Speaker 1: being run in your local congressional district, senate race, governor's race.
- 21:05Speaker 1: I think that's really important. Fear works. I mean, have
- 21:07Speaker 1: Democrats done enough to talk about that. No. I think
- 21:09Speaker 1: they've been very They've been caught flat footed on the
- 21:12Speaker 1: crime issue, because the crime issue isn't something that's just
- 21:15Speaker 1: happening in Democratic states. In fact, is happening in Republican states.
- 21:18Speaker 1: It's happening at very high rates. And Democrats have a
- 21:21Speaker 1: pretty good record on crime, and yet they're not talking
- 21:25Speaker 1: about it. And they it's in the same way there's
- 21:28Speaker 1: a lot of people in this country who believe the
- 21:29Speaker 1: Democratic Party supported defund the police and they didn't do right.
- 21:33Speaker 1: I love that. Right. They say, there's a lot of
- 21:34Speaker 1: people believe Democrats didn't support defund the police. Then who
- 21:39Speaker 1: did Republicans? I mean, you say stuff like this and
- 21:42Speaker 1: you insult voters. Everybody knows the Democratic Party was the
- 21:46Speaker 1: party of defund the police. Everybody knows Democratic Party was
- 21:50Speaker 1: the party of Antifa and Black Lives Matter and the
- 21:53Speaker 1: rallies that turned into riots an anarchy, and the burning
- 21:56Speaker 1: down of buildings and the trashing of police stations and
- 22:00Speaker 1: churches that were caught on fire. Okay, that was the
- 22:03Speaker 1: Democratic Party. And then they sit there on TV and
- 22:07Speaker 1: they actually want you to believe something as stupid as
- 22:10Speaker 1: what they just said, right, I mean what was just
- 22:14Speaker 1: said there was stupid. Well, the Democratic Party was not
- 22:18Speaker 1: the party to defund the police. And who was it?
- 22:21Speaker 1: Somebody tell me who it was. Find me a Republican
- 22:25Speaker 1: that came out and said I want to defund the police.
- 22:27Speaker 1: It doesn't exist. Okay, find me a Republican that's out
- 22:32Speaker 1: there advocating for defund the police. Who's campaigning on it.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Democrats are the ones that went defund the police. And
- 22:42Speaker 1: they sit there like, wow, it's actually not us. We
- 22:44Speaker 1: weren't doing okay, then show me the tape, Show me
- 22:46Speaker 1: a person, Show me a human being that was out
- 22:49Speaker 1: there with a Republican Party that was a major leader
- 22:52Speaker 1: that's like, you know, we need to redo, we need
- 22:54Speaker 1: to defund the police. Show me, show me Republicans channing
- 22:57Speaker 1: what do we want dead cops? When do we want
- 22:59Speaker 1: him now? And I'll apologize because that was Black Lives
- 23:01Speaker 1: Matter that was supported solely by the Democratic Party. Show
- 23:07Speaker 1: show me the Republican showing up to an Antifa Black
- 23:10Speaker 1: Lives Matter rally chanting death to America, and I'll apologize
- 23:14Speaker 1: it didn't happen. California is now looking to ban diesel trucks.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I wish I was joking. I'm not diesel trucks. They
- 23:25Speaker 1: want to get rid of them, and big problems are
- 23:28Speaker 1: hitting the trucking industry, which means inflation will continue to
- 23:32Speaker 1: get even worse. Truckers are reacting to the scorching diesel
- 23:36Speaker 1: prices under Joe Biden, saying it's taking almost all of
- 23:40Speaker 1: their extra income just to stay on the road. Diesel
- 23:43Speaker 1: prices are making it much much harder for truckers to
- 23:46Speaker 1: make a living. It's crushing a little big this morning
- 23:49Speaker 1: that it's the highs that ever been. I've pumped it
- 23:52Speaker 1: for like six nineteen the small before I can do
- 23:56Speaker 1: a whole week for fifty n doing two to twenty
- 24:02Speaker 1: two hundred dollars a week between Monday and Friday. This
- 24:05Speaker 1: is getting harder and harder and harder every month. Jamison
- 24:08Speaker 1: Mendoza is a five year truck driver from a Veto.
- 24:11Speaker 1: He said us some photos of his truck as he
- 24:13Speaker 1: stopped briefly in Georgia to speak with us about the
- 24:15Speaker 1: hardship of fuel prices, like my house payment, my car payment,
- 24:20Speaker 1: my personal insurance, food bills in the house. It's putting
- 24:25Speaker 1: in behind on a lot of things and a lot
- 24:28Speaker 1: of plans that I had in my future because of
- 24:31Speaker 1: the fuel price skyrocketing really hot, because the fuel prices
- 24:35Speaker 1: sky high. Ten grand a month is what the average
- 24:38Speaker 1: trucker now is spending on diesel. Brian Denalli, who owns
- 24:43Speaker 1: a trucking company, slam Gavinuson for being out of touch,
- 24:48Speaker 1: saying that Californias are fleeing. Listen to this. I own
- 24:51Speaker 1: a trucking business. In the last eight months, because of
- 24:53Speaker 1: the governor's policies, it's cost two hundred dollars a day
- 24:56Speaker 1: to put diesel in that truck, thousand dollars a week.
- 24:58Speaker 1: It's four thousand dollars a month that drives a the
- 25:00Speaker 1: cost of a gallon of milk, a dozen eggs for
- 25:02Speaker 1: every hardware in Californian. It's the guy running for office
- 25:06Speaker 1: in California who is saying that. And while all this
- 25:08Speaker 1: is happening, the governor is saying, yeah, he wants to
- 25:11Speaker 1: get rid, okay, get rid of what's happening with the
- 25:18Speaker 1: diesel industry by getting rid of all the diesel trucks.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Now you look at how bad things are now rising
- 25:25Speaker 1: diesel prices. People at least starting to understand it, and
- 25:28Speaker 1: the media is starting to report on it. Here's from
- 25:30Speaker 1: News Nation, But diesel prices right now in America or
- 25:33Speaker 1: anything but comforting. In fact, some companies are being forced
- 25:38Speaker 1: to layoff employeeses like this, Well, I'll have to pop
- 25:42Speaker 1: my trunk the paint of the pump. It's not just
- 25:45Speaker 1: another cliche for American truck drivers. The industry that delivers
- 25:49Speaker 1: goods from coast to coast is dealing with more than
- 25:53Speaker 1: just eighteen wheels. Just take a look at the diesel
- 25:56Speaker 1: prices soaring across our country, leaving some truck or to
- 26:00Speaker 1: hit the brake pedal. And for owner and operator Omar
- 26:03Speaker 1: Edwards of North Carolina, he's having the layoff employees while
- 26:06Speaker 1: finding a way to maximize profit. I'm heading over to
- 26:09Speaker 1: Atlanta to actually pick up one of my drivers. We're
- 26:12Speaker 1: gonna be team driving right now. That are some of
- 26:15Speaker 1: the ways that we're trying to fight the diesel prices
- 26:18Speaker 1: that increase more revenue. Team driving is when two drivers
- 26:23Speaker 1: switch off, drive one truck and just go as fast
- 26:27Speaker 1: as they can that way. Today's show saying this this morning,
- 26:32Speaker 1: America seems trapped in a vortex of bad economic news.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Sky high food prices, pump prices at record levels, soaring,
- 26:40Speaker 1: rents up sixteen percent in one year, COVID lockdowns in China,
- 26:44Speaker 1: the world's manufacturing center, choking the global supply chain, US
- 26:48Speaker 1: corporate profits, sinking Russian oil under partial embargo, Ukrainian wheat
- 26:53Speaker 1: exports at a standstill, and all of it feeding forty
- 26:56Speaker 1: year high inflation that Americans are paying for every day
- 27:00Speaker 1: on the front lines, shippers and truck drivers with diesel
- 27:03Speaker 1: fuel prices up seventy five percent in one year. In Indiana.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Shelley Conaway is a full time truck driver who also
- 27:11Speaker 1: runs a charity to rush supplies to those Indeed, we
- 27:14Speaker 1: were looking yet possibly eying trailers in the truck another truck,
- 27:20Speaker 1: but we will be able to afford to the tires
- 27:25Speaker 1: on it. All of it sending the stock market lower,
- 27:30Speaker 1: the SMP down eighteen percent so far this year, the
- 27:34Speaker 1: NASTACK down a stunning twenty seven percent. The media forced
- 27:39Speaker 1: to cover this now. Truck drivers very concerned over the
- 27:43Speaker 1: diesel prices, and that is because it's taking money out
- 27:46Speaker 1: of their pocket. ABC News finally covering this for the
- 27:50Speaker 1: first time this morning on Good Morning America. Listen, when
- 27:53Speaker 1: we talk about rising fuel prices, we're often talking about dasoline,
- 27:57Speaker 1: what we pay at the pub that today is averaging
- 28:00Speaker 1: four dollars nineteen cents a gallon. But when you look
- 28:03Speaker 1: at diesel prices, diesel fuel, they hit a new record
- 28:08Speaker 1: high just this morning, five dollars thirty two cents a gallon.
- 28:12Speaker 1: And diesel is incredibly important to the economy. It's known
- 28:15Speaker 1: as the fuel that moves the economy because it's the
- 28:19Speaker 1: fuel that most the trucks use that are on the street,
- 28:22Speaker 1: cross the country. They're the things that are carrying your groceries,
- 28:25Speaker 1: your diapers, your necessities. And when the cost for those
- 28:29Speaker 1: truckers go up, all the costs go up on these
- 28:33Speaker 1: various items that we are so reliant on as Americans.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I love how they're finally telling you that diesel six
- 28:40Speaker 1: dollars a gallon, right, I mean, just a few days
- 28:43Speaker 1: ago you had truckers hit hard as diesel prices near
- 28:46Speaker 1: five dollars a gallon, and Metro Detroit they were talking
- 28:49Speaker 1: about how bad it is there. Now it's a dollar
- 28:51Speaker 1: higher than when they aired this just a few weeks ago.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Soaring diesel prices are just the latest speed bump. I'm
- 28:56Speaker 1: gonnead to stop it at four hundred because I came
- 29:00Speaker 1: even feel my whole tanks up, and I got one
- 29:02Speaker 1: hundred and fifty gallon tanks on each side. Rudy has
- 29:05Speaker 1: been a truck driver for nearly two decades. He's never
- 29:07Speaker 1: seen prices this high. The big question is how will
- 29:11Speaker 1: these prices impact you, the consumer. Independent truckers like Rudy
- 29:15Speaker 1: and trucking companies will be passing the higher costs of
- 29:18Speaker 1: the fuel to the companies they're contracted. Four He drives
- 29:21Speaker 1: six hundred miles plus per day, and that means every
- 29:24Speaker 1: run I run, I'm gonna have to pay every time
- 29:26Speaker 1: did I take a run? And just to break even,
- 29:28Speaker 1: Rudy is pinching pennies and picking up more hauls. There's
- 29:32Speaker 1: gonna be kind of hard to feed your family if
- 29:34Speaker 1: you don't have a lot of loads, because you got
- 29:37Speaker 1: to think about it. I still got bills to pay
- 29:39Speaker 1: at home. I still got to feed my family. And
- 29:42Speaker 1: if I'm not making no money in my truck, then
- 29:47Speaker 1: I'm done. I'm done. This is the reality of the situation.
- 29:52Speaker 1: There's a lot of people that don't want to talk
- 29:54Speaker 1: about it. But if you think it's going to get
- 29:56Speaker 1: better before it gets worse, you're just flat out wrong.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Fox b this channel say truckers are working for peanuts
- 30:02Speaker 1: now is the prices are surging. Why they say peanuts
- 30:06Speaker 1: because that's actually what they're working for. They're just trying
- 30:10Speaker 1: to keep the truck running on the road. Fox News
- 30:14Speaker 1: says a decent supply chain, chain crunch and surging prices
- 30:19Speaker 1: have left Vegas truck drivers worried about how to make
- 30:22Speaker 1: ends meet, and warned that the small trucking businesses could
- 30:26Speaker 1: fold because they just cannot afford the amount of money
- 30:30Speaker 1: it costs to put it in the tank. It literally
- 30:32Speaker 1: work for peanuts right now, and nobody can say anything.
- 30:36Speaker 1: It's nobody to talk to. These are prices right now
- 30:39Speaker 1: are very high. I'm harry for companies to make money
- 30:42Speaker 1: by now with the high prices plus the rates of drops,
- 30:45Speaker 1: so you know, really not making the money you're making before.
- 30:48Speaker 1: You very can't buy right now. So literally it's taking
- 30:53Speaker 1: in my company. The fuel almost expenses affects the independent
- 30:59Speaker 1: driver that we have enough money, said bringers load in.
- 31:03Speaker 1: But many people are surviving. Are the big the big
- 31:06Speaker 1: name companies that can afford the gas and the lust
- 31:09Speaker 1: The weeks were singing, increase above a dollar dollar gailling.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Literally you know many people that have a survival, the
- 31:14Speaker 1: bigger company, smaller wid boone making. There's fewer trucks on
- 31:17Speaker 1: the road, which causes a product to go higher. Whatever
- 31:21Speaker 1: just normal every days, a food, anything, anything that's controver bringing,
- 31:25Speaker 1: it's gonna be highest. I don't think it's anybody looking
- 31:28Speaker 1: out as well. It's because prices of insurance significantly growing
- 31:32Speaker 1: every year. The trucks themselves, the tailors almost double in
- 31:40Speaker 1: price in last three years. We need to drive warm
- 31:46Speaker 1: and morterbally. Usually we drive a day four or five
- 31:51Speaker 1: undred miles a day. Now we need to make little money.
- 31:56Speaker 1: We need drive like a sea song. Wow. Or Trump
- 32:01Speaker 1: was helping us, but now nobody is. We can be
- 32:05Speaker 1: happy with can be not happy with Donald Trump. But
- 32:08Speaker 1: when the Donald Trump was in the office. I remember
- 32:12Speaker 1: in the Texas, in the South Texas, I can't get
- 32:14Speaker 1: longer than two dollars dollars a gap. Right now, the
- 32:17Speaker 1: government and energies cares about them making money, not now
- 32:20Speaker 1: what it's going on out here Lexus coming. I'm just
- 32:22Speaker 1: saying what we had a twenty five twenty five day
- 32:26Speaker 1: reserve diesel reserve for nationally. Oh, it is boosting prices. Said,
- 32:31Speaker 1: it's killing an independent man out here. We are limited
- 32:35Speaker 1: by time, We're limited by working hours and everything else.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Everybody call it the frame market. But from the other site,
- 32:42Speaker 1: nobody limited the crisis, nobody limited the brokers, nobody limited
- 32:49Speaker 1: diesel prices. They can lower the prices, they can release
- 32:51Speaker 1: from oil reserves. Absolutely, open up some more fuel reserves.
- 32:56Speaker 1: I thought they could need to do almost out a
- 32:58Speaker 1: fuel right now. So I'm saying six months might be
- 33:02Speaker 1: out of it. If not, we're paying nine ten dollars
- 33:04Speaker 1: a gallon. So thrugdivers this is what it is. This
- 33:06Speaker 1: is the guy's getting this company nine ten dollars a gallon.
- 33:10Speaker 1: He's not off. By the way, analysts are saying the
- 33:12Speaker 1: exact same thing. Imagine what that'll cost for you to
- 33:14Speaker 1: get anything at the grocery store if something is nine
- 33:17Speaker 1: or ten dollars a gallon to get the product there,
- 33:20Speaker 1: that's what they're having to pay. You're gonna pay through
- 33:22Speaker 1: the roof. And all this could be fixed if the
- 33:25Speaker 1: Democrats will get their heads out of we're in and
- 33:28Speaker 1: actually allow for us to go back to energy independence,
- 33:30Speaker 1: which is what we had under Donald Trump. Make sure,
