Latest / The Lila Rose Show / E118: Bluey Goes LGBT?! Pediatricians Oppose Trans Surgeries + News Roundup
Transcript
- 0:00There is sanity from the American College of
- 0:02Pediatricians. We are calling on these medical
- 0:04organizations to follow the science and their European
- 0:07colleagues and immediately stop the promotion of social
- 0:10affirmation, puberty blockers, cross sex hormones and surgeries
- 0:14for children and adolescents who experience distress over their
- 0:17biological sex. This is a great step in the
- 0:19right direction and this courageous group of
- 0:22pediatricians are coming up and saying, what are we doing?
- 0:30Hello everybody. Welcome to the Lila Rose Podcast
- 0:33and to YouTube live here. For those listening on YouTube,
- 0:36I will keep an eye on the chat throughout this episode where we
- 0:40talk about some of the breaking news and some important
- 0:42developments happening, good and bad, that I think everybody
- 0:45should know about. Hi, John Henry for joining on
- 0:47here. Hi, James for joining on here.
- 0:50Hi Shell for joining on here. I will again be keeping an eye
- 0:53on the chat. So if you are listening right
- 0:55now on YouTube, on the YouTube live page, I will be there and
- 0:59checking the chat as we go. We've got a lot to cover Today.
- 1:02The Supreme Court has made a ruling on the abortion pill
- 1:06being ordered via mail. Also, Bluey, the popular kids
- 1:10show, has introduced its first LGBT character.
- 1:15A lot of parents don't even know that this happened, but you need
- 1:18to know this. And the American College of
- 1:20Pediatricians has made a very strong public statement against
- 1:25gender transitioning for children.
- 1:26This is a great step in the right direction and something we
- 1:30absolutely need to talk about. Plus, Star Wars franchise is
- 1:33also introducing your whole slew of gay characters.
- 1:36We're going to talk about that and what the actors are even
- 1:38saying about that. We're also going to mention some
- 1:41things about Nikki Haley, who has received a lot of ire lately
- 1:45for different things, but in particular she's doubling down
- 1:48on her IVF stance. And Melinda Gates, the ex-wife
- 1:52of Bill Gates, is pledging billions of dollars to
- 1:55ultimately abortion. So lots to unpack here.
- 1:59But first, I want to thank our sponsor, 7 Weeks Coffee.
- 2:03As you sit down to listen to this news roundup and this
- 2:06commentary, you should be drinking your Seven Weeks
- 2:08Coffee. Seven Weeks Coffee is America's

- 2:14roasted, ethically sourced coffee that is delivered right

- 2:19It's delicious. And what's so awesome about
- 2:21Seven Weeks is that 10% of all of the proceeds, not just the
- 2:25profits, go directly back to the pro-life movement to support
- 2:28pregnancy resource centers, to support moms and babies in need.
- 2:32So if you haven't tried sevenweekscoffee.com yet, what
- 2:34are you waiting for? Go to sevenweekscoffee.com.
- 2:37You can join their Heartbeat Club.
- 2:39It's called Seven weeks, by the way, because the baby is a size
- 2:43of a coffee bean at around 7 weeks, just a few weeks after
- 2:46the heart starts beating. So it's this beautiful time and
- 2:49they're connecting it back to the movement in that way.
- 2:52But if you join the Heartbeat Club and get your monthly
- 2:54subscription of your choice of delicious coffee blends, you can
- 2:58get actually 25% off your first order using the code live at

- 3:03coffee.com. And you can use the code lilac
- 3:06checkout for up to 25% off your first order if you join the
- 3:10Heartbeat Club. All right, you might have heard
- 3:12the headline news this morning. It's breaking news this morning.
- 3:15But the Supreme Court, the United States has made a ruling
- 3:18on the abortion pill. A little bit of background here
- 3:21about why this is so significant.
- 3:23Many of you may have already be familiar with the abortion pill,
- 3:26but it is now the most prevalent abortion procedure in America.
- 3:30This has been the plan of the abortion industry now 4 decades
- 3:32to get this mainstreamed on the market so that directly it can
- 3:36be sent to a woman's home and she's taking these lethal drugs
- 3:39in her home and she's ultimately forcing a miscarriage on a baby
- 3:42that's very young, between the ages of typically six weeks up
- 3:45to 12 weeks old. So the abortion pill is a drug
- 3:49cocktail that uses two different drugs, mifepristone and
- 3:51misoprostol. If you want to learn more about
- 3:53how the procedure actually takes place and kills the baby, I
- 3:56highly recommend everyone's aware of this.
- 3:58Again, this is the most prevalent abortion procedure in
- 4:00America. You can go to Live Action's
- 4:02incredibly important resource at abortionprocedures.com.
- 4:06The depictions are not gory or graphic, but they show you what
- 4:09actually happens during these abortion procedures, how they
- 4:11work, how they kill this child, the risks to women.
- 4:15All of this needs to be known. The reality is, even by the more
- 4:18conservative estimates, out of 25 women who take the abortion
- 4:22pill, at least one woman will end up in the emergency room.
- 4:26Think about that. Out of every 25 women who take
- 4:30an abortion pill to have that abortion, one of them will end
- 4:34up in the emergency room. That's how not only dangerous
- 4:36this drug is, that is killing children, but how lethal and
- 4:40dangerous this drug can be for women.
- 4:42And yet, of course, the abortion industry, Planned Parenthood,
- 4:45all of those folks do not care about women.
- 4:48They never have. They certainly don't care about
- 4:49babies. They're profiting off of the
- 4:50deaths of children here, but they certainly don't care about
- 4:53women. They're trying to eliminate the
- 4:56doctor's visit that a woman would have before she gets the
- 4:59abortion pill to confirm that she is pregnant and to confirm
- 5:02the age of the pregnancy and to confirm where the baby has
- 5:05implanted in her uterus. Because the reality is for some
- 5:08women who take the abortion pill, they might have an ectopic
- 5:11pregnancy, meaning the baby isn't even in their uterus.
- 5:15And if the baby is elsewhere like a fallopian tube, and they
- 5:17take the abortion pill, it could be life threatening for them
- 5:20because they're not able to miscarry that baby.
- 5:23Once that baby has been killed, they will potentially have
- 5:26internal bleeding, hemorrhaging, infection, other side effects
- 5:29that could be life threatening for the mother, not just life
- 5:31threatening for the baby. So the reality is pro lifers
- 5:34know this, people that become educated about this know this.
- 5:37And they think, why in the world has the Food and Drug
- 5:39Administration, the FDA, permitted this drug, first of
- 5:42all, to be on the market, these lethal pills, drugs designed to
- 5:46kill, to even be on the market, and second of all, to be sent
- 5:49via mail without even an in person doctor's visit.
- 5:52Who's behind this latest pushing of the abortion pill on the
- 5:54market? None other than the Biden
- 5:56administration. President Biden is extremely pro
- 5:59abortion, the most pro abortion president I've ever seen in my
- 6:02lifetime and in our country's history.
- 6:05And he is the one that has basically wrecked the system and
- 6:10allowed this unlawful, unjust, dangerous drug to be sent via
- 6:15mail. So why is the Supreme Court
- 6:17involved? Because a bunch of physicians
- 6:20who are concerned about doctors doing no harm like the
- 6:24Hippocratic Oath says, and physicians who want to actually
- 6:27care for their patients brought a lawsuit and brought it all the
- 6:31way up to the Supreme Court saying this should not, this
- 6:33dangerous drug should not be sent via mail.
- 6:36But the Supreme Court unfortunately today unanimous,
- 6:39unanimously said that these physicians do not have the
- 6:41standing to bring this case. So they didn't rule on the
- 6:44merits of the case. They ruled that these physicians
- 6:46is an important distinction. The Supreme Court this morning,
- 6:49they didn't say, oh, this the abortion pill is great.
- 6:51It should be sent via mail. What the Supreme Court said is
- 6:54this group of physicians, they're pro-life, are not
- 6:56permitted to bring this case. They're not the right plaintiff
- 6:58ultimately to bring this case. And so we're not going to even
- 7:01rule on the merits of the case. Now, there's some theory and
- 7:05some speculation that the Supreme Court did this because
- 7:07they don't want a big abortion case before the election.
- 7:10Some people are murmuring about that on both the right and the
- 7:12left. I think that part of this may be
- 7:15because there will be other plaintiffs that can bring this
- 7:18case. And there's a few attorneys
- 7:20general who are interested in bringing this case from some
- 7:23different states that are pro-life.
- 7:25Meaning the attorney general would bring the case to the
- 7:27Supreme Court and say this is unconstitutional, that I have to
- 7:31somehow enforce an unjust regulation that permits lethal
- 7:35drugs to be sent via mail. This is unconstitutional.
- 7:37This is wrong. I should not have to do this.
- 7:39And so it's likely that is what is going to happen next.
- 7:42But for now, it is a partial win for the pro abortion side.
- 7:45And it is disappointing. It is disappointing profoundly
- 7:48to me that the Supreme Court, everyone says, oh, there's all
- 7:52these conservatives on the court.
- 7:53They're also pro-life. Unfortunately, they are still
- 7:57permitting lethal drugs that kill children, that murder
- 8:01children to be sold. That's effectively what has
- 8:03happened for now. I think that can change in the
- 8:05future, again with a different plaintiff bringing the case like
- 8:08these attorneys general instead of these doctors.
- 8:10But the reality is the drugs are on the market and there are
- 8:14thousands of children being killed every single week by
- 8:17these drugs and they are the top, it's the top abortion
- 8:20procedure in the country. So it's important that we're
- 8:22familiar with this. It's important that we're
- 8:23educated in the pro-life movement and that we also can
- 8:26educate other people. abortionprocedures.com is a
- 8:30great resource for that. Highly recommend.
- 8:33In addition, I think this is very important that every single
- 8:36pro-life person knows about abortion pill reversal because
- 8:40the more the abortion industry tries to get these pills
- 8:43everywhere and say it's just taking a pill, it's just like,
- 8:46it's like a birth control pill. It's like just a medication, not
- 8:49a big deal. It's just like a heavy period.
- 8:51No, it's killing, starving to death, a baby in utero.
- 8:54And then you're that woman is miscarrying blood, tons of blood
- 8:59loss. Often she can see her baby in
- 9:01the toilet in her in her home, you know, and or if she's a
- 9:05student in her dorm room. I mean, it's it's totally
- 9:07horrific. It's barbaric.
- 9:09But the opposition, the pro abortion side says it's not a
- 9:11big deal. It's not a big deal.
- 9:12Well, as pro lifers, we know it's a big deal.
- 9:14We know it's a life, we know it's dangerous for women.
- 9:17One out of every 25 end up in the emergency room who take this
- 9:20pill. And we also know that it is
- 9:23reversible if it is caught in time.
- 9:26If a woman takes the first abortion pill, there's a window
- 9:29of time where that life might still be saved.
- 9:31A lot of women regret taking the abortion pill and want to
- 9:35reverse it. So I want everyone to know about
- 9:37this. It's abortion pill reversal.com.
- 9:40Know this website. Know the hotline number on the
- 9:42website. I'm actually going to add it to
- 9:44the show notes later so that everyone can see it.
- 9:47But this is essential. If you know someone or you've
- 9:49heard of someone who is doubting their decision and they just
- 9:53took the abortion pill, there may be a way to reverse it by
- 9:55getting in touch with a physician through this network,
- 9:57the abortion Pill Reversal Network.
- 9:59Thousands of lives have already been saved through this network.
- 10:02So this is one of the top resources of the pro-life
- 10:04movement right now. And these are doctors who are
- 10:07helping these women get access to typically it's life saving
- 10:10progesterone so that that child can be saved and it can
- 10:14counteract the damage of that first drug that you take in the
- 10:17abortion pill regimen. So abortion pill reversal.com,
- 10:21great resource. And abortionprocedures.com.
- 10:23You should know about that. What's going to happen here?
- 10:27You know, we have to pray. People think, OK, Roe V Wade was
- 10:30overruled. We're done, it's done.
- 10:33We, you know, yoohoo, pro-life movement, this is just the
- 10:36beginning. The fight is on.
- 10:38I know many people who listen to the show know this.
- 10:40It's the beginning. The fight is on.
- 10:42The fight is in the states. Now, this not should not just be
- 10:46a state's fight, though. The right to life is a
- 10:49fundamental human and constitutional right that we
- 10:52have and all people in this country have under the 14th
- 10:57Amendment, the right to equal protection under the law and
- 11:00that no state should be able to deprive life from any person in
- 11:04this country without due process.
- 11:06Well, when the state refuses to protect the unborn baby from the
- 11:10lethal abortion pill or any other abortion procedure and
- 11:12says it's up to the parents choice to kill or not to kill,
- 11:15that's depriving that child of their constitutional right to
- 11:18life. That's what's happening right
- 11:19now. This is not a states rights
- 11:21issue. This is a fundamental
- 11:22constitutional crisis where we are ignoring fundamental human
- 11:26rights and constitutional rights for the most vulnerable members
- 11:29of society. So the problem with how SCOTUS
- 11:33ruled in Dobbs V Jackson is they made it seem like, oh, the
- 11:37states get to decide who lives or dies.
- 11:39Democracies get to vote on it on state battle initiatives.
- 11:43No, states should not get to decide who lives and dies or who
- 11:47has their fundamental human rights protected.
- 11:49It's their responsibility to protect.
- 11:50And if they're not doing a good job and the federal government
- 11:53should step in. And so the reality is the
- 11:55pro-life movement has to fight on all fronts here, the state,
- 11:57the local and the federal level. And I don't think this case is
- 12:01going away. The SCOTUS, is the Supreme
- 12:03Court's going to get another case on the abortion pill?
- 12:06Because the reality is 60%. There's a poll done recently,
- 12:1060% of all Americans are opposed to mail order abortion pills,
- 12:1560%. So the majority of Americans
- 12:17don't want this drug to be just sent via mail like the Biden,
- 12:21Biden administration has allowed it.
- 12:22So this is going to go back to the court, I think, with a
- 12:24different plaintiff. And I think we will see success
- 12:26in the future. But our job as a movement, by
- 12:28the way, guys, is to educate, educate, educate, educate.
- 12:31Obviously, we must also legislate.
- 12:33We must get involved in politics.
- 12:34But people need to be educated about the risks of this drug and
- 12:37what it actually does to kill this baby.
- 12:39And again, abortionprocedures.com is a
- 12:41great resource for that. All right, I know it's heavy
- 12:44stuff. It's heavy stuff when the
- 12:46Supreme Court, which is populated by some good judges, I
- 12:51think, makes a bad decision. And, you know, even in Dobbs V
- 12:54Jackson, I'm sending it back to the States and not declaring
- 12:57that, of course the preborn child has a constitutional right
- 13:00to life and should be protected at all levels of government.
- 13:03It's a disappointment and I think we have to be real about
- 13:05that. But the good news is the more we
- 13:07educate, the more minds we can change and the more we can build
- 13:10and and strengthen political constituencies that demand
- 13:12better from our legislators, from our lawmakers, from our
- 13:15judges. So get involved in live action
- 13:17if you aren't already and use Abortion procedures.com to
- 13:20educate other people. I want to close this out, this
- 13:24segment of the show by talking about the attorneys from the
- 13:28Alliance Defending Freedom organization that were
- 13:30representing the doctors that brought this case that was just
- 13:33dismissed ultimately by the court, by the Supreme Court.
- 13:35This is a quote from Aaron Hawley from the ADF Alliance
- 13:38Defending Freedom team. I want to read this quote.
- 13:41They say nothing in today's decision changes the fact that
- 13:46FDA's own label says that roughly one in 25 women who take
- 13:51chemical abortion drugs will end up in the emergency room.
- 13:56A dangerous reality the doctors and medical associations we
- 13:59represent in this case know all too well.
- 14:02The FDA recklessly leaves women and girls to take these high
- 14:05risk drugs all alone in their homes or dorm without requiring
- 14:09the ongoing in person care of a doctor.
- 14:12I mean, they're making a case that anybody of good conscience,
- 14:15even if they're very misled on abortion, they don't get why
- 14:17abortion is wrong. They don't understand that yet
- 14:19anybody with common sense would say what is going on here?
- 14:22This should not be permitted via male.
- 14:24But again, we would hope that anyone with common sense would
- 14:28see we should not be killing babies in the 1st place.
- 14:30So there's a lot of common sense education that needs to happen
- 14:33here. And that's part of the battle
- 14:35that is our fight that we are engaged in along with other
- 14:37great groups like Alliance Defending Freedom.
- 14:40It's good though that 60% of Americans don't even support the
- 14:44abortion pill via mail. So it is still a majority
- 14:46position that they don't. Americans don't want this.
- 14:50OK. It's heavy stuff, right?
- 14:51I mean, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is bad
- 14:54news we have to deal with. That makes me happy about our
- 14:57next sponsor. I'm going to share, which you
- 14:59guys have heard me talk about before on the show, and that is
- 15:01Hallow. Hallow is the number one prayer
- 15:03app in the world. They have millions of downloads.
- 15:06They have over 10,000 prayers on the app including Bible stories,
- 15:10sleep stories, meditations, guided prayers and more.
- 15:14They have kids content on the app.
- 15:16I love the Halo app because it goes where you go and if you're
- 15:19doing dishes or driving or whatever, folding laundry, you

- 15:40with God. I think we need to pray more
- 15:42than ever. And I love tools, whether it's
- 15:45prayer books, journals, the Halo app that can help us in our
- 15:48prayer and making prayer a priority.
- 15:51All right, next story up here, you guys, what is up with all of
- 15:55this media, entertainment media pushing the LGBT agenda and
- 16:00narrative. It is everywhere.
- 16:03We're going to unpack this. It's everywhere, literally for
- 16:06adults and for children. I want to take a quick look at
- 16:09the chat here. Thank you guys for tuning in
- 16:12here. Christine.
- 16:15Thanks for joining the chat. Sam, thanks for joining the
- 16:20chat. Hi, Michael, thank you guys for
- 16:24coming in here. I will be looking at this chat
- 16:26throughout the live in order to see if there's any questions or
- 16:30comments. So keep them coming.
- 16:32Love to see them in there. Thanks for joining for the folks
- 16:35over on YouTube. We will also be on locals after
- 16:39this live for an exclusive segment just for local
- 16:41subscribers. So after we wrap this part,
- 16:44we're going to be doing a special segment and I'm I'm
- 16:46going to be talking about Trump, actually President Trump and the
- 16:49whole legal proceedings against him.
- 16:52Giving some thoughts there. I don't often talk about that.
- 16:54I'm going to be talking about that over at locals after this
- 16:56YouTube live in this podcast episode.
- 16:59But let's first start with Star Wars.
- 17:01I love Star Wars. I really, I, I, I watched Star
- 17:05Wars as a kid and I really enjoyed it.
- 17:07It's always been a favorite of mine.
- 17:09Some of the more recent Star Wars feature length films in
- 17:12theaters I haven't been as big of a fan of, but the original
- 17:14Star Wars I thought was so powerful.
- 17:16There's some great themes in there, great characters.
- 17:19Unfortunately, there's these spin off shows like on Disney
- 17:23Plus, this one called Acolyte, which is pushing, using the Star
- 17:27Wars brand to push, you guessed it, the LGBT agenda.
- 17:32We're in the month of June here. I don't know about you, but you
- 17:35probably have seen a rainbow flag or two.
- 17:38The rainbow, which is meant to represent God's promise to never
- 17:41destroy the earth because of his mercy and faithfulness, is now
- 17:45being used to promote sexual disorder, confusion, chaos to
- 17:52people of all ages. Doesn't matter your age, we're
- 17:55going to put a rainbow on your face.
- 17:56We're going to invite you to our pride parade.
- 17:59And people who mistakenly think that my sexual attraction
- 18:04defines me, if I have a sexual attraction to the same sex, that
- 18:07that's who I am, I am gay, I must act that way.
- 18:10If I have trouble accepting my body, my sex for what it is,
- 18:14then I must be trans and I'm going to remake my body and the
- 18:18image that might be in my mind instead of maybe addressing why
- 18:21is my mind thinking that? There's so much confusion.
- 18:24I have so much compassion. I know people personally who are
- 18:28affected by this and to make consider themselves LGBT or
- 18:33people who are wrestling with different unwanted attractions
- 18:36or wrestling with different questions of identity.
- 18:40So we need a lot of compassion here, but we need to be
- 18:43unapologetic in calling this out, to say this agenda, pushing
- 18:48it especially on kids and families, to say that sexual
- 18:52disorder and chaos and confusion is the norm and healthy and
- 18:55should be acted on, even to the point of with the transgender
- 18:59chaos literally cutting apart bodies of young people in order
- 19:05to fit this agenda. You know, we had Chloe Cole on
- 19:08the show, as you guys remember last year, who is AD
- 19:11transitioner. There's so many of them now,
- 19:14young people who had gender confusion.
- 19:16And so she had a double mastectomy at age 1515 years old
- 19:22and Kaiser Permanente in California.
- 19:24And this young woman who was struggling with her identity,
- 19:27the doctor is just gave her testosterone and then cut off
- 19:30her breasts. And now she's, I think, 20 years
- 19:33old, campaigning against this. And she's saying, how could
- 19:37they? They, they used and abused me in
- 19:40a moment of weakness and confusion for their agenda.
- 19:44It's so wrong. So what is Star Wars doing?
- 19:46We're going to just watch a little clip here.
- 19:48And then I want to talk about Bluey.
- 19:50The Bluey one is the biggest hit of all.
- 19:51But let's let's go to the Star Wars clip first.
- 19:56So here's some actors from the show on Disney Plus talking
- 20:00about the new Star Wars narrative.
- 20:04Let's call it that. Arguably the gayest Star Wars, I
- 20:07think by a considerable margin, this is gonna be a talking
- 20:11point. Is it gonna be a talking?
- 20:13Point I'm sure. Because nerds are gay.
- 20:15Well, not. Well, some nerds aren't very
- 20:16threatened by. Well, that's true, but in my
- 20:19world, nerds are gay. People have told me that it's
- 20:24the gayest Star Wars and I frankly into it.
- 20:27No, you're telling me with a straight face that C3PO is
- 20:33straight? They're a couple, that's what I
- 20:35think. I think it's Canon that R2D2 is
- 20:38is a lesbian. Oh, interesting.
- 20:40Ask Felonious. So why?
- 20:44Why do you out of ruin everything?
- 20:46RR2D2 is a cute robot. He's a cute robot.
- 20:50He's not a lesbian. What are what are we doing here,
- 20:54guys? Why, why is everything gay now?
- 20:57I mean, they're literally laughing.
- 20:58It's all gay. And and also all nerds are gay.
- 21:01I mean, what kind of message do we send to kids that if you're a
- 21:05nerd, if you're interested in reading and you're interested
- 21:09in, you know, nerdy, stereotypically nerdy
- 21:11activities, you're maybe not as interested in sports and all of
- 21:13a sudden you're gay. No, you're just someone who is I
- 21:16love nerds who's intellectual. Intellectual doesn't equal gay.
- 21:20And if you are an intellectual who has same sex attraction,
- 21:23that also doesn't mean you're gay.
- 21:25It's not an identity that we should be upholding as this is a
- 21:29this is a whole personality. No, your sexual attractions
- 21:33don't design define you and being a nerd or being a cute
- 21:36robot certainly doesn't mean all of a sudden you're gay.
- 21:39You're L GB TI mean the whole thing.
- 21:41The whole agenda is so confused. It's quite frankly sad.
- 21:45It's sad. And again, I love Star Wars, so
- 21:48why do you got to destroy it this way, right?
- 21:50It's sort of like the the whole Pride Month stuff.
- 21:53It's like shoving this agenda down the throats of so many
- 21:56people when really it's trying to, I think.
- 22:00I think it's a lot of folks trying to make peace with
- 22:02themselves and demanding endless public affirmation for the war
- 22:06in their own hearts. And again, knowing people very
- 22:09close to me who have struggled with some of these things, we
- 22:12should be embracing each other and helping each other not to
- 22:15feel shame, but to feel loved as they are.
- 22:19But to navigate sexual attractions that are not ordered
- 22:22or identity crises that put people out of sync with who God
- 22:27made them to be and help those people.
- 22:29Instead of saying, oh, your attractions define you, go act
- 22:32gay or oh, you are at war with your sex, you feel uncomfortable
- 22:36in your skin, OK, go get a double mastectomy.
- 22:38That's not loving. It is not loving, pride is not
- 22:42loving, the pride movement is not loving, and love is to will
- 22:47the good of the other want what's best for the other
- 22:48person. So OK Star Wars, you know R2D2,
- 22:52No, R2D2 is a cute robot that I always have loved that
- 22:56character. Do not destroy that character.
- 22:59This next one I want to talk about is even a bigger blow
- 23:02because it affects more people in my opinion and that's Bluey.
- 23:07OK guys, you may have completely missed this.
- 23:12You might have kids that watch Bluey or maybe you even watch
- 23:14Bluey because it's such has been such a fun show for so many
- 23:17people. But unfortunately, Bluey had to
- 23:19do it. Bluey has hooked a whole
- 23:22generation of parents and kids. And then they did that sneaky
- 23:26thing that so many shows and media companies are doing.
- 23:29They put in the poison. They put in the narrative, they
- 23:31put in the agenda. And so we're going to watch this
- 23:34clip about what's happening over at Bluey.
- 23:37The cartoon Bluey introduces a queer family for the first time.
- 23:41Bluey, the beloved Australian children's show, has subtly
- 23:45acknowledged LGBTQ plus representation in its Season 3
- 23:48finale, which aired this week. While the episode primarily
- 23:51focused on Bluey's family moving at a wedding, a quietly
- 23:54introduced diversity, with Bluey's friend Pretzel
- 23:57mentioning his two moms when discussing his pet Guinea pig.
- 24:00The mention passes in a flash. But with some kids having two
- 24:03moms, this matters a lot. This last episode named The Sign
- 24:07has received an average score of 9.9 out of 10 from nearly 1000
- 24:12users ratings on IMDb. So can we just say it is the
- 24:17sign of acceptance for queer families?
- 24:19Let's pause it. So do you see what just happened
- 24:21here? So this is a guy in drag who's
- 24:23doing a new show celebrating the fact that Bluey had an episode
- 24:27out. And this is now several weeks
- 24:29ago. So a lot of people have already
- 24:30seen this episode and they snuck in a couple who are two women,
- 24:35the a lesbian couple, and they snuck him in as just normal
- 24:38characters to be the parents of the character Pretzel.
- 24:42And what's so crazy about this is that that what this announcer
- 24:46was just saying, this news reporter who's in drag, you
- 24:49know, very pro LGBT news outlet, they're talking about how well
- 24:52on IMDb, you know, it's been rated and given 4.9 stars.
- 24:57So clearly everyone accepts this.
- 24:59Here's the reality. Many of parents totally missed
- 25:02it. They snuck the characters in
- 25:04very subtly. I mean, it's a sign of more
- 25:05things to come, obviously, but they put them in in a very
- 25:08subtle way. Just put them in two characters,
- 25:10two mothers. There happened to be two girls
- 25:12who are the mothers of Pretzel. Let me remind everyone, everyone
- 25:17has only one biological mother and one biological father.
- 25:20And the children thrive most when they have one mother and
- 25:24they have one father who love each other in a marriage and who
- 25:27love that child dearly. And any other design, sometimes
- 25:30there's an, you know, there's a problem in the in the family.
- 25:33There's a death, there's abuse, there's addiction.
- 25:35There's something that makes that design not possible.
- 25:38But when we willfully choose a different design for kids, it's
- 25:40not good for them. And so anyways, they're putting
- 25:44this in. Do you see how they do this?
- 25:46They put in these characters. Oh, it's just a, it's a queer
- 25:49family. I'm just going to put them in
- 25:51the show because they want to normalize this for kids.
- 25:55They want kids to grow up thinking that it's normal,
- 25:58healthy for their friend to have two moms or two dads.
- 26:02It's totally normal, no big deal.
- 26:04They want to confuse children. They want children to be
- 26:07confused from very young ages. And unfortunately, so much of
- 26:11kids entertainment has become that.
- 26:13We talked about Miss Rachel on the show a couple weeks ago, and
- 26:16she's doing the same thing. She's bringing in characters
- 26:19that are queer or trans to try to confuse her audience, and now
- 26:24in her mind, she's just removing stigma.
- 26:26If young kids are around this at a very young age, all this LGBT
- 26:30stuff, then they won't feel like they have any standing to say
- 26:34that it's not good when they're older.
- 26:36They're going to have to just embrace it whole hog as they get
- 26:38older. The reality is there is a design
- 26:41written into our bodies, written into relationships that is
- 26:44optimal for human flourishing and human reproduction, quite
- 26:47frankly. And to divert that subject or to
- 26:51subvert that design is not going to be good for kids.
- 26:55And so that's the truth. It's become this crazy,
- 26:59controversial truth in today's world.
- 27:01I do think there's a backlash, though, against it.
- 27:03I think a lot of parents are just tired and sick of the
- 27:05agenda and it being pushed down their throats and put in front
- 27:09of their kids. And so you're seeing this new
- 27:11generation of parents raise up and say enough is enough.
- 27:13And I think that Bluey slipped this in there so quickly because
- 27:18they didn't want to have a lot of blowback.
- 27:20They were really testing the waters.
- 27:22So I think it's so important that if you know this now as a
- 27:25parent, you cut off Bluey because they're trying to
- 27:28familiarize our kids with these characters, make them loyal to
- 27:32the character, comfortable, feel safe with the character, and
- 27:35then all of a sudden the character is introducing gender
- 27:38ideology to your kids. So don't have a part in it.
- 27:41Stand up against it. Parents need to protect their
- 27:43kids. Know what media your kids are
- 27:45watching. I think that is key for us to
- 27:49ensure that our kids are protected.
- 27:51And it's disappointing. It's so disappointing because I
- 27:54do think that Bluey had a lot going for it and now you can
- 27:58very much see the agenda that it is going.
- 28:01Looking at the chat here, Shellback says we switched from
- 28:06Miss Rachel to Miss Amy, a Christian alternative.
- 28:08Awesome. That's what we should be doing,
- 28:10guys. Find alternatives that are not
- 28:13going to subvert, be subversive for your kids and that are going
- 28:16to be healthy for your kids. Elizabeth is saying no way.
- 28:19We love Bluey. Darn.
- 28:20Yes, I know it's very disappointing, but we need to be
- 28:23aware and we need to be finding the media that is going to be
- 28:27good for our kids, not the media that can harm our kids.
- 28:30All right, there's some good news I have for you guys.
- 28:33Sorry for the bad news today. I think it's important we know
- 28:35it though. I want to talk about the
- 28:37American College of Pediatricians, but before that,
- 28:40I want to thank our last two sponsors for this live.
- 28:43First of all, a huge thank you to Nimi Skin Care.

- 30:39have for their employees. Not so with every life.

- 30:44life.com and you can use the code Lila at checkup for 10% off
- 30:48that order. All right, last story, last big
- 30:50story to cover here guys. Did you know that there is
- 30:54sanity still in this country? There's plenty of sanity and in
- 30:58our medical care system and from the American College of
- 31:02Pediatricians. So the American College of
- 31:04Paediatricians is a group of paediatricians who have come
- 31:08together and look at the standards and the healthcare for
- 31:12children and are working to provide the best instructions
- 31:15for paediatricians for how to provide best in class care to
- 31:18kids. And they have come out with a
- 31:20very controversial statement, but a very good one that we're
- 31:23going to listen to now. And we have serious concerns
- 31:29about the physical and mental health effects of the current
- 31:32protocols promoted for the care of children and adolescents in
- 31:35the United States who expressed discomfort with their biological
- 31:39sex. This declaration was authored by
- 31:42the American College of Paediatricians, but really it
- 31:45was developed from the expertise of hundreds of doctors,
- 31:48researchers, and other healthcare workers and leaders
- 31:51who for years have been sounding the alarm on the harmful
- 31:55protocols that continue to be promoted by the medical
- 31:58organizations in the United States.
- 32:00Despite recent revelations from the Leak W Path files and the
- 32:05recent release of the final report from the CAST Review,
- 32:08these medical organizations have not changed course.
- 32:12So we are calling on these medical organizations of the
- 32:14United States, including the American Academy of Pediatrics,
- 32:19the Endocrine Society, the Pediatric Endocrine Society,
- 32:22American Medical Association, the American Psychological
- 32:25Association, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent
- 32:28Psychiatry, to follow the science and their European
- 32:31colleagues and immediately stop the promotion of social
- 32:35affirmation. Puberty blockers, cross sex
- 32:38hormones, and surgeries for for children and adolescents who
- 32:42experience distress over their biological sex.
- 32:45In our declaration, we affirm that sex is a dimorphic innate
- 32:50trait defined in relation to an organism's biological role in
- 32:54reproduction, male and female. This genetic signature is
- 32:58present in every nucleated somatic cell in the body and is
- 33:02not altered by drugs or surgical interventions.
- 33:06Consideration of these innate differences is critical to the
- 33:09practice of good medicine and to the development of sound policy
- 33:13for children and adults alike. Medical Decision.
- 33:17We can pause it there, but you can hear this pediatrician
- 33:20stating basic scientific facts about the biological reality of
- 33:24our bodies, male and female. XXXY.
- 33:28Obviously if there's a different chromosomal presentation that
- 33:31has to do with the disorder of sexuality and sexual of of male
- 33:35and female, it is not its own identity that then should be
- 33:38promoted to other people as some sort of identity that they can
- 33:41switch to. So she's stating basic science
- 33:44here, of course, but it's really interesting what she said
- 33:46earlier in her statement. The reality is even Europe,
- 33:49European countries like the UK, Sweden, Finland, Norway and
- 33:53France have pushed back on the use of puberty blockers for
- 33:57children and sex reassignment for children.
- 34:00So even a whole swath of Europe is saying this is crazy.
- 34:05Why are we giving puberty blockers, life altering drugs to
- 34:09children and doing these sex reassignment surgeries on
- 34:13children to ultimately mutilate the genitals and the body parts
- 34:17of children. This is unconscionable and
- 34:21thankfully a lot of Europe is banning this.
- 34:24And so this is a great step in the right direction.
- 34:27And this courageous group of pediatricians in the United
- 34:30States are coming up and saying we should do the same thing
- 34:33here, Guys, what are we doing now?
- 34:37You heard the doctor call out a hill group of a horde, quite
- 34:43frankly, of medical associations that are pro gender
- 34:47transitioning for kids. And that's so disappointing.
- 34:50I mean, the reality is a lot of these groups have been hijacked
- 34:55by gender ideologues. And I think about the American
- 34:58College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and they have,
- 35:02they have unfortunately become very pro abortion over the last
- 35:05two decades. The reality is for a lot of
- 35:07these associations is they're not reflecting the opinions or
- 35:11the the science, quite frankly, of the majority of their
- 35:14members. They're not, you know,
- 35:15Democratic votes taken by the majority of their members on
- 35:18whether or not we should say children should get puberty
- 35:21blockers or whether or not we should make abortion the
- 35:24standard of care for women. What's happening is these
- 35:28entities, these organizations, these medical associations are
- 35:32sometimes led by ideologues who then basically ram that ideology
- 35:37down the throats of the rest of the members.
- 35:39That's what's, that's what happened with ACOG, the
- 35:42Association for Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
- 35:46And they said abortion is the standard of care.
- 35:48Killing a baby is the standard of care.
- 35:50And then the pro-life organization APLOG was founded
- 35:54to fight back against that. To say this is ludicrous.
- 35:56Abortion is killing. It is not healthcare.
- 35:59Similarly, the American College of Pediatricians is a group of
- 36:04paediatricians who are seeing the the ideology that's being
- 36:07pushed in other groups that are meant to serve children and
- 36:10saying we need to fight back. So I want to commend and applaud
- 36:14their work because it is so important they are the same
- 36:18voice out there. And I also want to commend these
- 36:20European countries that are waking up to the science, that
- 36:25this is not scientific and they're waking up to the reality
- 36:28that you are doing sometimes lifelong damage to kids by
- 36:31giving them puberty blockers and gender reassignment surgeries,
- 36:36that this is absolutely insane. So I think this is great
- 36:40movement in the right direction. I really think that having these
- 36:45brave voices like Chloe Cole's voice out there of these D
- 36:49transitioners who are speaking out against what happened to
- 36:52them as kids, I think that that has been part of this tipping
- 36:56point that we're beginning to see where people are waking up
- 36:58and saying this gender ideology is madness.
- 37:01This is absolutely madness. How can we be allowing this to
- 37:05happen? So this is good news.
- 37:07There's progress in the right direction and let's just keep it
- 37:11going, right? Let's keep being courageous and
- 37:13speaking out against this. I think that's key.
- 37:15And sharing the facts about the harm of gender ideology to
- 37:20others and being unapologetic about opposing it.
- 37:23I know they're going to call you a bigot, homophobe, hateful for
- 37:27speaking the truth. But those voices, as loud as
- 37:29they are, do not represent, I think, what most people think
- 37:32deep down and feel deep down. And the louder and stronger the
- 37:36bully looks, the more important it does us for us to not back
- 37:39down and to be loving but unapologetic in speaking the
- 37:42truth. All right, so kudos to the
- 37:45American College of Pediatricians for their
- 37:47courageous statement. And let's hope that other people
- 37:50wake up to the truth about the harm of gender ideology.
- 37:56I want to close out here by mentioning what's happening over
- 38:00with Melinda Gates because I thought I would, and also Nikki
- 38:04Haley. I just want to call this out
- 38:06because it's so important that with all these news stories,
- 38:09there's accountability. And unfortunately, the way the
- 38:12media is presenting the Melinda Gates story is, oh, look at this
- 38:15very generous philanthropist that Melinda Gates, the ex-wife
- 38:20of Bill Gates, is dedicating so much of her fortune to women's
- 38:24reproductive rights. Well, what does that actually
- 38:28mean when you decode it? Melinda Gates is writing
- 38:32potentially 100 million or even billion dollar checks to groups
- 38:36like Planned Parenthood. And her version of women's
- 38:39Healthcare is abortion and birth control.
- 38:42That is Melinda Gates has been pushing birth control on, you
- 38:45know, African nations and Latin America now for I think well
- 38:48over a decade if not decades. The Bill the Gates Foundation
- 38:51has been pushing birth control and hormone altering drugs on
- 38:553rd world populations for a long time.
- 38:57You know, overpopulation, paranoia, saying oh, we don't
- 39:02want them to be populating so much in Africa, let's send them
- 39:05a bunch of drugs. Instead of saying, oh, we want
- 39:07to help families be healthy in Africa, let's go improve
- 39:10infrastructure and access to clean water and better
- 39:12healthcare systems. No, let's send them life
- 39:15altering hormones to disregulate their hormones so that they're
- 39:18infertile. That's going to help out people
- 39:20in developing nations. It's absolutely ludicrous.
- 39:23Unfortunately, she's doubling down on this Melinda Gates by
- 39:25giving even more of her fortune to this dark anti life, anti
- 39:29natalist ideology, anti child ideology.
- 39:33That's what it is. So you know, why is this
- 39:35important? It's important because that's
- 39:37why there's so much madness in the world.
- 39:39You have these billionaires who are giving boatloads of money to
- 39:43groups like Planned Parenthood. I mean, think about it, how much
- 39:46money? Planned Parenthood has almost $2
- 39:47billion budget. And you know, hundreds of
- 39:51millions of dollars from the government and hundreds of
- 39:541,000,000 more from people like Melinda Gates, right?
- 39:58They are influential because of the cash, because of their
- 40:03friends in high places. They're not influential because
- 40:05their ideas are great ideas or their actions are good actions.
- 40:09Their actions are toxic and destructive and their ideas are
- 40:13untruthful. Their ideas are are deception.
- 40:16There's that's lies, but they're propped up by media and they're
- 40:20propped up institutionally by money.
- 40:22And so people are like, oh, I guess pro abortion and pro birth
- 40:25control for developing nations is a good idea.
- 40:28No, when you actually unpack it, it's violence, destruction,
- 40:32tearing down a woman's naturally healthy fertility system that
- 40:36disregulates her and her whole body.
- 40:38That's what that actually does. So I think it honestly,
- 40:43sometimes stories like these weirdly can be encouraging
- 40:45because I think with all the horrible money it's being thrown
- 40:49at the abortion problem to promote abortion, right?
- 40:54It's amazing to see how many people are still pro-life, that
- 40:57still when you run polls, you get about 5050 pro-life,
- 41:01pro-choice. You run some polls and find that
- 41:04almost half of Americans want abortion banned in at least most
- 41:07cases. And you see that and you think,
- 41:10wow, that's actually very impressive considering the
- 41:13incredible amounts of lies that are being told in the
- 41:15institutions that are dedicated to telling those lies.
- 41:18So for all that Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has done, for
- 41:21all that Melinda Gates wants to do to promote abortion, the
- 41:23truth is always more powerful. And that's what is hopeful to me
- 41:27about this story. Similarly, Nikki Haley came out
- 41:30recently and she's doubling down on her IVF stance.
- 41:33We talk about IVFA lot on the podcast recently because it's
- 41:36been in the news so much. I want you to check out my
- 41:38interview with Doctor Lauren Rubal, who used to be an IVF
- 41:41doctor and she's now a holistic fertility practitioner, helping
- 41:46women achieve fertility healthfully and morally.
- 41:50Nikki Haley put out this tweet. She says IVF is pro-life.
- 41:54My children are blessings. Because of fertility procedures,
- 41:57many parents would love to have children.
- 41:59We should not be banning these procedures.
- 42:00We should be encouraging them. And there's this odd and very
- 42:03tragic move within the Republican establishment to push
- 42:07IVF. All of a sudden, when the
- 42:09reality is with IVF, we have a million children who are frozen
- 42:12today. That's dehumanizing to those
- 42:14children. We have embryos, untold numbers
- 42:17of babies, tiny children who are being discarded or even
- 42:20experimented on research that are leftovers from IVF
- 42:23procedures. IVF is less regulated in the
- 42:25United States than in virtually any other developed nation,
- 42:29including most of Europe. And we just allow children to be
- 42:32created in these test tubes and destroyed, selectively edited or
- 42:36or selected to say, oh, I want a boy or I want a girl, or I'm
- 42:39going to pick the healthiest specimen and give a shot at
- 42:43implanting them. I mean, this is eugenics to pick
- 42:46the healthiest 1, to pick the one with the desired traits.
- 42:50But this is how the IVF operates today, how the IVF industry
- 42:53operates today. So it is the opposite of
- 42:56pro-life. Of course, any child conceived
- 42:58via IVF is as much a gift as any other child.
- 43:01That's the point when we're subjecting children
- 43:04intentionally to this very dangerous, destructive way of
- 43:07bringing life into the world that is against the the marriage
- 43:11bond of the parents. They're not being conceived in
- 43:13the love between the parents are being conceived in a in a
- 43:15fertility clinic. This opens the door to so many
- 43:18abuses and we're seeing those abuses left and right.
- 43:21So I think that it's important that we talk about this.
- 43:24We talk about it with compassion because a lot of people are
- 43:26struggling with infertility. But the solution cannot be to
- 43:30pursue unethical procedures that endanger so many lives.
- 43:34And that, unfortunately, is what IVF has done.
- 43:37There's other issues with Nikki Haley.
- 43:39We'll talk about that another time.
- 43:40But no, it is not pro-life to bring lives into the world via
- 43:45this very dangerous and unethical technology and then to
- 43:48destroy many of those lives who have no legal status or to leave
- 43:52them frozen indefinitely, which is commonplace with IVF.
