- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all all looking back to back down, giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them just like themsing bu bu things and it's not
- 0:19Speaker 1: me through good Steve together, star, don't join me. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta use that turn you. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn, got to turn them out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come come on your baby, huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall well a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on, dig me nw one. It only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. I have something, and
- 2:13Speaker 1: it so describes how I was living. It's so captures
- 2:19Speaker 1: the feelings that I had about beginning on the pathway
- 2:24Speaker 1: of my dreams. It so describes how I felt when
- 2:30Speaker 1: I was about to attempt something. And I have some
- 2:33Speaker 1: striking news for you. It describes often how I feel
- 2:37Speaker 1: still today to a degree. So let me tell you
- 2:41Speaker 1: what that is. Here's an analogy that I've heard a
- 2:46Speaker 1: couple of different ways, but I've kind of, you know,
- 2:49Speaker 1: fixed it around to where I can drink it better,
- 2:52Speaker 1: and I think it fits my personality to describe it
- 2:56Speaker 1: to people best this way. I've talked often about urgency
- 3:01Speaker 1: of doing something with your life, of getting started today,
- 3:06Speaker 1: of stopping the procrastination and putting it off, and waiting
- 3:10Speaker 1: on all your ducks to line up in a row,
- 3:12Speaker 1: and waiting till the stars aligned themselves. If you ain't
- 3:16Speaker 1: know such a thing, you're never gonna get started. I
- 3:20Speaker 1: don't know too many people who can say that all
- 3:22Speaker 1: the ducks just lined up in a row. Things happen
- 3:26Speaker 1: even when you get them lined up. One of the
- 3:28Speaker 1: ducks get out of line, or somebody knock over the domino,
- 3:31Speaker 1: or something happens. But here's the point I'm getting at.
- 3:35Speaker 1: God has so many blessings available to you. You who's listening.
- 3:45Speaker 1: God has so many blessings available to you from where
- 3:50Speaker 1: you are right now. I don't care what you've gotten
- 3:54Speaker 1: yourself into or what you've done. God has so many
- 3:59Speaker 1: blessings that he can send your way. But you have
- 4:04Speaker 1: to do something. See a lot of people just sit
- 4:08Speaker 1: around and go man, and something always happening to you.
- 4:12Speaker 1: You're always getting a break, You're always doing this. You
- 4:14Speaker 1: always doing man, don't nothing come my way. Listen to me.
- 4:18Speaker 1: If nothing ever comes your way. You know why that is,
- 4:21Speaker 1: It's because you're not doing anything. I promise you you're not.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Here's a deal. God has all these blessings he wants
- 4:28Speaker 1: to send you, but you got to give him something
- 4:31Speaker 1: to work with. Now, come on, God will bless you.
- 4:35Speaker 1: God can touch people's hearts on your behalf. He can
- 4:39Speaker 1: move situations around for you. He can align the stars.
- 4:42Speaker 1: He can set the ducks up in the road. But
- 4:45Speaker 1: align the stars and move people around, and touch people's
- 4:48Speaker 1: hearts and set the ducks up in the road. For
- 4:50Speaker 1: what have you put forth? Any effort? Have you made
- 4:54Speaker 1: a single step in any direction to do the right
- 4:58Speaker 1: thing or go the right way? That gives him something
- 5:01Speaker 1: to put his finger on. Come on, man, God can
- 5:05Speaker 1: only bless you according to your faith. If you have
- 5:09Speaker 1: a little bit of faith, give him that. Let him
- 5:12Speaker 1: work with that. You know, man, I didn't always start
- 5:14Speaker 1: with these speeches you're hear in the morning now. I
- 5:16Speaker 1: ain't always had these. I grew to these. I stumbled
- 5:20Speaker 1: my way to these. I messed up my way to these. Hell,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I got it wrong so many times to be able
- 5:28Speaker 1: to sound like I got some sense, I said it often.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Failure is a wonderful teacher. Do you know how many
- 5:34Speaker 1: times I have had to have failed to have what
- 5:37Speaker 1: I have in my head today. I'm telling you, man,
- 5:41Speaker 1: it's a process. People getting mad at the process. You
- 5:44Speaker 1: got to do something to give God something to work with.
- 5:48Speaker 1: He'll bless you. But what you want me to bless
- 5:50Speaker 1: If you ain't putting forth any effort, you can get
- 5:53Speaker 1: blessed from whoever you are in your life. Wherever your
- 5:56Speaker 1: starting point is, wherever you find yourself wound up, you
- 6:00Speaker 1: can get it back from. Now. I've done it, man,
- 6:03Speaker 1: by the grace of God, I've done it. I got over. Man.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I learned some things along the way. Because here's a deal.
- 6:10Speaker 1: As long as God keeps waking you up in the morning,
- 6:12Speaker 1: he ain't through with you yet. When he's done, you're done.
- 6:15Speaker 1: But if God still has a plan for you you
- 6:17Speaker 1: wake up in the morning, He's still got some more
- 6:20Speaker 1: work for you to do. You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:25Speaker 1: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 1: and he can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:30Speaker 1: walk towards him a little bit. Here's a deal. I
- 6:34Speaker 1: know it's hard for the average person to start because
- 6:38Speaker 1: the fear of the unknown is incredible. What if I fail,
- 6:41Speaker 1: what if I don't get picked? You know, one of
- 6:44Speaker 1: the hardest things I ever did was walking in to
- 6:47Speaker 1: quit my job. Oh man, let me tell you about
- 6:49Speaker 1: that day when I decided that I was going to
- 6:52Speaker 1: be a full time comedian after winning an amateur night
- 6:56Speaker 1: one time, quitting your job in your dream going forward
- 7:02Speaker 1: despite all the nay says, it's like stepping off a cliff.
- 7:07Speaker 1: It's like actually just walking off the edge of a cliff, hoping, hoping.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Now not really knowing, but hoping. Hoping is the bad
- 7:20Speaker 1: basis of faith. I stepped off the cliff hoping that
- 7:26Speaker 1: my parachute would open and allow me to drift down. See.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I've never skydived before, but I would imagine part of
- 7:35Speaker 1: the thrill. And I don't know this because I'm not
- 7:37Speaker 1: going to skydive to find out. I think part of
- 7:41Speaker 1: the thrill for people is the danger part of throwing
- 7:45Speaker 1: yourself out a plane and how it feels to be
- 7:48Speaker 1: free falling, but the whole time they're free falling, having
- 7:52Speaker 1: this exhilarating, over the top moment. You have got to
- 7:57Speaker 1: believe in your heart of hearts, you have got the
- 8:00Speaker 1: hope with everything in you that when you pull this cord,
- 8:03Speaker 1: the shoot opens or else. This ain't a good move
- 8:07Speaker 1: at all. But you've packed your shoot yourself. You've taken
- 8:10Speaker 1: the lessons, so you go ahead and you make the leap. Now,
- 8:14Speaker 1: the only thing about quitting your job and following your
- 8:16Speaker 1: dream is you ain't really been trained all that good
- 8:19Speaker 1: for this. You didn't packed your shoot, but you ain't
- 8:22Speaker 1: never opened it before. So I walked off this cliff,
- 8:25Speaker 1: That's what it was like. And you following your dream
- 8:27Speaker 1: is like you walking off a cliff. Here's the part
- 8:30Speaker 1: where people don't never make the jump. They see somebody
- 8:34Speaker 1: like myself who jumped off the cliff and the pass
- 8:37Speaker 1: shot don't open right away, and I hit a couple
- 8:40Speaker 1: of rocks on the way down. I got my back
- 8:43Speaker 1: cut up pretty bad. They see that three years living
- 8:47Speaker 1: in a car man, he got his life toe down
- 8:49Speaker 1: jumping off that cliff. I ain't jumping off that cliff.
- 8:52Speaker 1: But see, what you don't understand is you don't know it.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But eventually the shoot will open, and I'm at the
- 9:00Speaker 1: parachute opening part of my life, man, where a shoot
- 9:04Speaker 1: then open and I'm drifting and I'm able to guide
- 9:08Speaker 1: my shoote over to Paris and glide. I've I've glided
- 9:11Speaker 1: over to Africa and seen what it looked like. It's
- 9:13Speaker 1: a slow ride down. When the passchute finally opened, and
- 9:17Speaker 1: my back then heel too, and the cuts that I
- 9:20Speaker 1: had on me, I remember now I know how to
- 9:22Speaker 1: stay away from the edge. But the parish chute then opened,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and I'm enjoying my life for the first time. I'm gliding,
- 9:30Speaker 1: but I got hit up against the rock. I can
- 9:32Speaker 1: see more. I get a chance to see more things.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I get to glide and see more parts of the world.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I'm living my dream. Your passhute is gone open, but
- 9:41Speaker 1: I'll tell you one thing for shore, It'll never open
- 9:44Speaker 1: if you don't step off that cliff. You got to
- 9:46Speaker 1: step off that cliff, got to get the passchute open
- 9:49Speaker 1: for you. But you got the jump, baby. That's the
- 9:52Speaker 1: hard part, ain't it now? Question is the end of
- 9:54Speaker 1: this story right here today when you jumping. You're listening
- 9:58Speaker 1: to morning show. Ladies and gentlemen, now have your undivided attention, please,

- 12:05Speaker 1: a curfew because of COVID quick story curfew. COVID K
- 12:11Speaker 1: curfew in South Africa is ten PM. Everybody must be
- 12:14Speaker 1: off the street unless you have media credentials. I'm pulling
- 12:19Speaker 1: up at the hotel just left for Gala. Me and
- 12:21Speaker 1: my wife were standing in front of the hotel. So
- 12:23Speaker 1: that's cool long as you at your hotel inside. So
- 12:28Speaker 1: we're in the doorway talking. White guy comes out. We've
- 12:32Speaker 1: been standing out that for a while. It's about ten ten.
- 12:35Speaker 1: He walks out and walks out in the parking lot
- 12:37Speaker 1: and out onto the sidewalk. Please car pull up. Two
- 12:42Speaker 1: black Africans in the car. They said, suh, it's just curfew.
- 12:47Speaker 1: You must be inside. He said, I'm not going blanking anywhere.
- 12:55Speaker 1: The two black dudes says, excuse me, suh, it's just curfew,
- 12:59Speaker 1: you must go inside. I'm not going blanking anywhere. The
- 13:03Speaker 1: driver of the car opened the door and the biggest
- 13:07Speaker 1: African I've ever seen in my life unfolded out of
- 13:12Speaker 1: the car and blew up, came round the car, snatched
- 13:17Speaker 1: his ass by the collar. The cigarette fell out his mouth.
- 13:21Speaker 1: He opened the car door and put him in the car.
- 13:25Speaker 1: The white dude discovered that his ass was going so
- 13:28Speaker 1: quare after all, best saying, all right, ladies and gentlemen,

- 14:03Speaker 1: he didn't help nobad at anything. I want to apologize.
- 14:13Speaker 1: All right, here we go. This run clo is from
- 14:16Speaker 1: PJ in Dallas. PJ writes, I've been happily married for
- 14:19Speaker 1: two years, but my wife is creating a major problem
- 14:22Speaker 1: in our marriage. I've always been an avid golfer and
- 14:25Speaker 1: my wife has always been an avid bruncher. That's what
- 14:29Speaker 1: we do on Saturdays and Sundays. I go play, she
- 14:32Speaker 1: goes to drink bottomless mimosas with her girls. All of
- 14:35Speaker 1: a sudden, she has decided that we need more activities together,
- 14:39Speaker 1: so she's taking golf lessons and looking forward to playing
- 14:42Speaker 1: with me. Steve. This cannot happen, and I stopped this
- 14:48Speaker 1: before she goes too far with lessons. She's gonna have
- 14:55Speaker 1: to have a golfing accident. What what do you say?
- 15:00Speaker 1: What you mean by that you're gonna have to take
- 15:04Speaker 1: her to the golf course and when she ain't looking,
- 15:07Speaker 1: get your nine nine and blast that ball in her back.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I'm talking about and I'm talking about a real Stengle.
- 15:17Speaker 1: You know, put put that ball forward in your stands,
- 15:20Speaker 1: back in your stands, you know how to get it back,
- 15:23Speaker 1: so the ball to stay low and let her hair
- 15:26Speaker 1: one of them golf balls dead in her back. You
- 15:28Speaker 1: have got to stop this, dog, because your golf is
- 15:33Speaker 1: no fun with your wife. Oh my god, no, no,
- 15:39Speaker 1: Marjorie tried that. No, no, why didn't you have fun?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Take all of them damn questions? What club? Why my
- 15:49Speaker 1: ball ain't in the air because you don't know how
- 15:51Speaker 1: to play? Why this ball won't go that far? Because
- 15:56Speaker 1: you can't play? Stop asking me about that damn ball.
- 16:01Speaker 1: That ball don't go. Why I wanted to go either?
- 16:03Speaker 1: You can't play, but step Golfing is supposed to be relaxing.
- 16:07Speaker 1: And why she out here go and drinking bottomless mimosis
- 16:14Speaker 1: with your damn girlfriend. Dog, You got to do that,
- 16:16Speaker 1: Hey dog, hey dog, listen to me. You got to
- 16:19Speaker 1: quit golfing. Golf listened to it. The only way this
- 16:23Speaker 1: can work is when you take a golf lessen, you
- 16:26Speaker 1: go to brunch and have yourself some bottomless mimosis. But
- 16:30Speaker 1: you cannot be out there with her listening. Car don't
- 16:33Speaker 1: do it. Maybe she should just go with her girls. Yeah, okay,
- 16:36Speaker 1: here we go Cundy in Baltimore, Celo says, I've been
- 16:40Speaker 1: married eighteen years and my husband and I were having
- 16:43Speaker 1: sex last night and I think he called me Carolyn.
- 16:47Speaker 1: He said he didn't, and I was just hearing things.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure it was Carolyn. And it's been bothering
- 16:53Speaker 1: me because my daughter's swim coach is named Carolyn, and
- 16:58Speaker 1: he's mentioned how graceful Carolyn and is in the water.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I found herself number in his phone, and I need
- 17:04Speaker 1: to know why he has this woman's personal number. But
- 17:07Speaker 1: he'll know I was snooping. Is it okay to admit
- 17:10Speaker 1: to snooping in this case? Is it okay to it?
- 17:16Speaker 1: We'll see. I had a I had a life for
- 17:19Speaker 1: him because when he said for him, see, well, I
- 17:24Speaker 1: was gonna. I was gonna save him because when you
- 17:26Speaker 1: said he said Carolyn, you know it was thinking about Christmas,
- 17:30Speaker 1: and you know the was calendy. You know that's what
- 17:38Speaker 1: I was gonna go with that, but then you found
- 17:40Speaker 1: Carolyn in his damn phone. Yeah, and he didn't mention
- 17:45Speaker 1: how graceful. Yeah, okay, Well, I don't have a lot.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Maybe you know, maybe I'm just saying, you know, maybe
- 17:54Speaker 1: y'all was making love. Do y'all have a water bed?
- 17:58Speaker 1: I have to ask you that first days we got
- 18:06Speaker 1: to do something. You know, if y'all was in the
- 18:08Speaker 1: water bed and he was thanking you, you show is
- 18:12Speaker 1: moving graceful, and then you know that's kind of reminded
- 18:15Speaker 1: him of Carolyn. Um, I don't well, here's the deal.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I thank your marriage is pretty much over point. And
- 18:22Speaker 1: I don't know how you're gonna break it to him
- 18:25Speaker 1: that you was in his phone snooping and um or
- 18:31Speaker 1: it could be just uh yeah, come on, this could
- 18:38Speaker 1: be Ah, this could be one of the most severe
- 18:41Speaker 1: coincidences you ever seen. You know, this could be just
- 18:45Speaker 1: merely coincidence. I said, Carolyn, And I'll be damned. That's
- 18:48Speaker 1: a number right there. Um, my daughter put it in there,
- 18:51Speaker 1: because there you go, you on the right track on
- 18:54Speaker 1: stay right there. Yeah, you know, my daughter put the
- 18:57Speaker 1: number in here because she's we know and and and
- 19:02Speaker 1: we was listed as the emergency contacting see something happen
- 19:05Speaker 1: to her, So that's what I was listed. And then
- 19:10Speaker 1: you know, my daughter, you know, put the phone up
- 19:12Speaker 1: next to hers when we was at swimming meet. You
- 19:14Speaker 1: know how you give your number by touching the phone,
- 19:17Speaker 1: and my little girl did that. That's how I got
- 19:18Speaker 1: in there. You don't see her on the call log
- 19:20Speaker 1: no more. You don't see what I called her. Yeah, okay,
- 19:25Speaker 1: well you know, and I'm taking everythingbody doing it well,
- 19:28Speaker 1: you know whatever, you know, whatever, whatever, even if you
- 19:35Speaker 1: want to, but she's still gonna be taking swimming, so whatever,
- 19:40Speaker 1: and I'm taking her down there too. I know my
- 19:42Speaker 1: weeks when I'm supposed to take her swimming, all right?
- 19:47Speaker 1: Moving on, mckenda and Canada says. I'm the youngest of
- 19:50Speaker 1: four girls, and my parents have always been very strict
- 19:53Speaker 1: on me. I cannot wait to leave for college and
- 19:56Speaker 1: never look back. Now that I'm twenty six and I
- 20:00Speaker 1: have my own place, my father pops up up my
- 20:02Speaker 1: house to check on me, and he'll call me if
- 20:04Speaker 1: he rides by and there's a strange car in my driveway.
- 20:07Speaker 1: If I have a man stay overnight. He parks in
- 20:10Speaker 1: my neighbor's driveway. I need my parents to back off.
- 20:13Speaker 1: How can I start this conversation twenty six? You can't.
- 20:18Speaker 1: You're twenty six and he's still popping by. Yeah, yeah, daddy,
- 20:27Speaker 1: Daddy's got her own play. Well, you know, Daddy gonna
- 20:29Speaker 1: quit popping by. He gonna he gonna roll up on
- 20:31Speaker 1: some one day. He he ain't gonna want to see.
- 20:34Speaker 1: So you know, hey, Daddy, you got hey, daddy, or
- 20:40Speaker 1: you got daddy, Daddy, daddy and she ain't talking to you.

- 23:43Speaker 1: know I'm not gonna let that stop me. You know
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'm still gonna Oh no, no, no, no, hell no, man,
- 23:50Speaker 1: you wait minute, you what I'm blind? But see, but
- 23:54Speaker 1: I've been cutting my hair for over ten years, and
- 23:57Speaker 1: folks say my hair could always look good, so I
- 23:59Speaker 1: didn't figuring I'm gonna start cutting hand. Not oh well,
- 24:02Speaker 1: yeah what you might cut the hand. It might be
- 24:05Speaker 1: some good that you do, but just ain't cut nor

- 24:34Speaker 1: my shot man. I can't call it discrimination, scrimination, scrimination

- 25:27Speaker 1: I mean, I don't care about you bein't able to
- 25:28Speaker 1: cut no out being blind. You got to be able
- 25:31Speaker 1: to see to do that. This could probably do to
- 25:33Speaker 1: do wonders for your shot. People to come from miles
- 25:36Speaker 1: around to see somebody like myself cutting the hand that
- 25:40Speaker 1: kind of in shot. Did you hear what I said?
- 25:43Speaker 1: I heard what you said. What I don't want you

- 25:59Speaker 1: and I'm gonna tell it to you strength. I'm coming
- 26:02Speaker 1: down now to that barbershop. I'm gonna feel it boots
- 26:05Speaker 1: out and I'm gonna start cutting. Now. One thing I
- 26:08Speaker 1: don't want to do and have to get into no
- 26:10Speaker 1: tussle with you. Now, I don't want that. It was
- 26:12Speaker 1: about getting no trussing with me. But if you bring
- 26:15Speaker 1: your up in my shot that much, you're gonna cut
- 26:17Speaker 1: it out. It's gonna be some plunge you move around him.
- 26:20Speaker 1: But I'm coming down there, and I'm coming down that
- 26:23Speaker 1: this evening. Now, what do you know where you're gonna
- 26:26Speaker 1: keeping with my shot? You're gonna you're gonna get you
- 26:29Speaker 1: what by blind man? What you're gonna do? You ain't
- 26:32Speaker 1: gonna see it coming either you hit me, bring you
- 26:37Speaker 1: as long as I got the money to pay my
- 26:40Speaker 1: boot rental, you don't give a damn. I don't want
- 26:42Speaker 1: your money. Your blind ain't cut no man shot. You
- 26:47Speaker 1: understand what I say to you. I'm understanding what you're saying.

- 31:10Speaker 1: man always had something good to say. Man, And I'm
- 31:13Speaker 1: really sending out the condolences to the family and Nini

- 31:51Speaker 1: and you're gonna take on a variety of conflicts and characters,
- 31:53Speaker 1: from small claims to big disputes. That sounds fun, Steve
- 31:57Speaker 1: tell us about it, Oh, as a show I created
- 32:02Speaker 1: and uh came up with it and I'm executive producing
- 32:05Speaker 1: it and I pitched it and they love the idea
- 32:10Speaker 1: and what it is it's gonna be. It's gonna be
- 32:12Speaker 1: real cases and people sign after David's that they're actual
- 32:17Speaker 1: real cases, and I'm allowed to settle the dispute. Now
- 32:22Speaker 1: I can use the law or I can use Steve's law.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Oh boy, I can use better judgment, or I can
- 32:33Speaker 1: use my judgment. I can throw it out, dismiss it.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I can rule how I want to rule, and everybody
- 32:41Speaker 1: has to go along with it. It's gonna be a
- 32:44Speaker 1: different take on judge shows. It will not be your
- 32:48Speaker 1: regular comment yourself. I mean, I just got to go on,
- 32:53Speaker 1: throw it out there. You know, do you do you
- 32:55Speaker 1: have a bailiff that there will be a bailiff? They
- 33:00Speaker 1: are they are looking for bailiff now, all right, nobody
- 33:05Speaker 1: settled on it. They're looking for bailiff. They're leaning. They're
- 33:10Speaker 1: leaning towards a woman. That's what we're right here at. Well,
- 33:24Speaker 1: I like elation coming soon to ABC. All right, Steve
- 33:30Speaker 1: introduced miss Please, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne Tripp. Oh,
- 33:35Speaker 1: thank you very much, and welcome back, Steve. This is
- 33:37Speaker 1: a trip with the news Nationally, the death toll from
- 33:39Speaker 1: hurricane tropical Storm Eida stands at sixty eight so far
- 33:43Speaker 1: and Louisiana. Many remain without power. That may be the
- 33:46Speaker 1: situation for some time, especially in the southeastern part of
- 33:49Speaker 1: the state. New Orleans Councilman J Bank says the situation
- 33:52Speaker 1: is awful. There were rooms that the ceilings had caved
- 33:56Speaker 1: in that obviously water had gotten into there's one we're
- 34:00Speaker 1: clearly the lady. There's no way she could sleep because
- 34:03Speaker 1: the ceiling dolls had fallen wet on the bed till
- 34:06Speaker 1: the bed was soaking wet. President Biden personally surveyed the
- 34:08Speaker 1: damage left by Hurricane I to in Louisiana last week.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Today he visits New York City, especially the part of Queens,
- 34:15Speaker 1: the Borough of Queens, which was really very badly hit
- 34:17Speaker 1: and there are many deaths there and also in New Jersey.
- 34:20Speaker 1: As of yesterday Labor Day, some nine million Americans lost
- 34:24Speaker 1: their unemployment benefits now a labor day, CBS polls shows
- 34:28Speaker 1: that most Americans favor a hike by the way in
- 34:30Speaker 1: the minimum wage. The current federal how early rage is
- 34:33Speaker 1: hourly wages seven twenty five cents, and seven out of
- 34:36Speaker 1: ten Americans think that should be higher. As you would expect,
- 34:39Speaker 1: support for a minimum wage hike is high among those
- 34:42Speaker 1: with lower incomes and politically, eighty five percent of Democrats
- 34:46Speaker 1: think the minimum should be higher. Fifty two percent of
- 34:48Speaker 1: Republicans agree with that. Sixty seven percent of people making
- 34:51Speaker 1: more than one hundred thousand dollars favor an increase, while
- 34:54Speaker 1: seventy four percent of those making less than fifty grand
- 34:57Speaker 1: feel the same way. Texas Governor Greg Abbott's approval rating
- 35:01Speaker 1: as tanking ever since his state moved to restrict access
- 35:04Speaker 1: to voting and emotional abortions. The Portland, Oregon City Council
- 35:07Speaker 1: is scheduled to vote tomorrow on a proposal of the
- 35:10Speaker 1: band doing any business with the state of Texas because
- 35:12Speaker 1: of its recently passed anti abortion law. Portland Mayor Ted
- 35:15Speaker 1: Wheeler wants to ban any state employee business travel as well.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Texas not only banns abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected,
- 35:23Speaker 1: but also allows and basically rewards any citizen to sue
- 35:25Speaker 1: anybody who they receive, or fee or perceive of has
- 35:28Speaker 1: helped a woman receive an abortion. Finally, sad and shocking
- 35:32Speaker 1: news as you heard moments ago, actor Michael Kenneth Williams
- 35:35Speaker 1: dead at age fifty four. Officials are calling his passing
- 35:37Speaker 1: the result of an overdose or they think of a
- 35:40Speaker 1: fentonel laced heroin. Williams a brilliant actor best known for
- 35:43Speaker 1: his parts in several movies in Boardwalk, Empire, Who's a
- 35:46Speaker 1: five time Emmy nominee. He was most recently nominated for
- 35:49Speaker 1: his work at Lovecraft Country and he played Oh myar
- 35:51Speaker 1: Little on the Wire and he was scary. Michael Kay
- 35:56Speaker 1: Williams found dead in his Brooklyn apartment. Now back to
- 35:58Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show. In
- 36:03Speaker 1: trending headlines, President Biden says he'll defend women's right to
- 36:07Speaker 1: choose after the Supreme Court failed to strike down a
- 36:10Speaker 1: Texas abortion law that makes the procedure illegal six weeks
- 36:15Speaker 1: after pregnancy. The President said in a statement, this extreme
- 36:19Speaker 1: Texas law blatantly violates the constitutional right established under row
- 36:24Speaker 1: versus Wade and upheld as president for nearly half a century.
- 36:29Speaker 1: The President added that his administration will protect and defend
- 36:33Speaker 1: the law established with Rowley Wade, but it's not exactly
- 36:38Speaker 1: clear what Biden will or can do in the future.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Supporters of abortion rights are seeking a more defined strategy
- 36:46Speaker 1: to counter the High courts in action to the Texas laws.
- 36:52Speaker 1: While enough, I would have to vote Texas Yeaheriously, seriously,
- 36:59Speaker 1: you know, I don't understand. You know, I did see
- 37:01Speaker 1: a little bit of this while I was awake. I
- 37:03Speaker 1: don't understand this. In Texas. They you can do whatever
- 37:11Speaker 1: you want to do with your body when it comes
- 37:13Speaker 1: down to a mask, But then when it comes down
- 37:16Speaker 1: to a woman's body, you gotta do what everybody tell
- 37:18Speaker 1: you to do. You get a choice with your body
- 37:21Speaker 1: with a mask, but you don't get a choice with
- 37:23Speaker 1: your body with nothing else. Right, it don't make no
- 37:26Speaker 1: damn sense. It don't make no damn sense. And men
- 37:31Speaker 1: and men make these rules more and our body, who
- 37:35Speaker 1: can't have a single right, They make the decisions for
- 37:40Speaker 1: our body. But you want to protect the babies that
- 37:44Speaker 1: are unborn, but the babies that are here in school,
- 37:46Speaker 1: you don't want them to wear a mask protect them
- 37:48Speaker 1: from a deadly virus. And you know what, man I
- 37:55Speaker 1: was online looking on Instagram one day and the one
- 37:59Speaker 1: of the guys from Texas who was thirty years old
- 38:02Speaker 1: that was ahead of the anti mask task force in Texas,
- 38:07Speaker 1: thirty years old died from COVID with two children and
- 38:12Speaker 1: his wife pregnant. But his wife wore the mask because
- 38:16Speaker 1: she didn't want to get sick. This guy died thirty
- 38:19Speaker 1: years old from COVID. You know, I just don't understand,
- 38:27Speaker 1: because you know they they're gonna start a copy of Texas.
- 38:29Speaker 1: That's what they've gonna do. Go see how does go
- 38:31Speaker 1: in Texas. Then we're gonna start moving this around. Maybe Florida.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Florida tried to North Carolina. Yeah, we are the most
- 38:41Speaker 1: hypocritical country of morality mixed with immorality that I've ever seen.
- 38:48Speaker 1: We try to act like the most moral country on earth,
- 38:53Speaker 1: but we're the most immoral. You you, you're gonna tell
- 38:57Speaker 1: a woman what to do with her body, and then
- 38:59Speaker 1: you gonna find a way where people of color can't vote. Man,
- 39:04Speaker 1: y'all need to take this form of Christianity, y'all got
- 39:08Speaker 1: I don't want that. This ain't nothing, man, y'all. This
- 39:13Speaker 1: is hypocritical ass country we live in here, man, all right?
- 39:16Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, Steve
- 39:19Speaker 1: is gonna tell us more about his vacation, more stories
- 39:23Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to show, all right. So, Steve,
- 39:29Speaker 1: you just got back from your big vacation. You went
- 39:31Speaker 1: all around the world and everything, and the fun thing
- 39:35Speaker 1: about your vacations is something always happens. There's always a story.
- 39:39Speaker 1: You know. I don't have event free vacations, and you know,
- 39:45Speaker 1: I think what it is is I actually look for
- 39:48Speaker 1: things because like, you know, yeah, I like I like
- 39:52Speaker 1: stuff that people don't think it's funny, you know that
- 39:56Speaker 1: that happens. And I see, So, okay, we're at the
- 40:01Speaker 1: beach one day and I went went a little section
- 40:06Speaker 1: of the beach off to yourself, you know. And and
- 40:11Speaker 1: it's what, It wasn't crowded beach at all. It may
- 40:14Speaker 1: have been maybe been fifteen people total on a big
- 40:18Speaker 1: long stretch of beach. Was just wasn't nobody out there.
- 40:21Speaker 1: And so all of a sudden, man heard this guy going, hey, hey,
- 40:29Speaker 1: let's go. What are you doing? I don't you know?
- 40:33Speaker 1: He was snarkling. And he came up and he was
- 40:36Speaker 1: standing in waste deep water and a baby octopus had
- 40:41Speaker 1: just wrapped itself round his knee. What a baby octopus
- 40:47Speaker 1: just wrapped itself round his knee. Now that's all I
- 40:49Speaker 1: needed to see. I'm not going in the damn water.
- 40:55Speaker 1: I ain't even because I was thinking about going out
- 40:57Speaker 1: the splashing round. So I when he walked out the water,
- 41:01Speaker 1: he couldn't get the octopus off because the suction was
- 41:04Speaker 1: just only and he was trying to be just a
- 41:06Speaker 1: little bit baby octopus wasn't no big johant octopus, and
- 41:10Speaker 1: you know, but he trying to pull it off, but
- 41:12Speaker 1: he can't get it off, and so he's standing there. Huh,
- 41:16Speaker 1: I know you didn't help him. Help him? Well, he
- 41:22Speaker 1: was out of the water. STI. I don't want to
- 41:25Speaker 1: go in the water. I don't know him or the octopus.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Why am I? You don't know what this octopus mad about?
- 41:33Speaker 1: When I'm not fitting doing that and I'm not gonna
- 41:35Speaker 1: go get his octopus an option? Clearly, yeah, yeah, clearly
- 41:43Speaker 1: he is doing what he wants to do. Yeah, And
- 41:46Speaker 1: he got his little tentacles wrapped around him. So he's
- 41:48Speaker 1: standing there. He's pretty calm about it, and he goes,
- 41:51Speaker 1: I can't get it off. So his son sees him,
- 41:56Speaker 1: and his son goes and starts pull an octopus, but
- 41:59Speaker 1: nothing's worth so it goes, I gotta get this off,
- 42:03Speaker 1: and nothing's working. So he gets a beer can that
- 42:10Speaker 1: he had and he starts he starts hitting the octopus. Well,
- 42:14Speaker 1: the octopus is soft, so it's doing nothing. If you
- 42:17Speaker 1: hit too hard, you're gonna hurt your damn self, right,
- 42:20Speaker 1: So the octopus is smart, so he just moving his
- 42:23Speaker 1: arms two different so he was trying to hit the
- 42:28Speaker 1: octopus so hard the octopus would move and he would
- 42:30Speaker 1: hit itself. He was he was holid. Now I'm sitting here, man,
- 42:37Speaker 1: I'm I'm the only thing I'm dreading is I didn't
- 42:40Speaker 1: feel on this right, but I'm enjoying it so much
- 42:44Speaker 1: because I got a peint clode in mine and it's TV.
- 42:46Speaker 1: To me, It's much TV, so he says. So this
- 42:52Speaker 1: then went on for about two minutes straight, and he said,
- 42:55Speaker 1: I gotta get it off. So he walks back in
- 42:58Speaker 1: the water and the octopus released him. And then he now,
- 43:03Speaker 1: instead of just letting octopus go, he tried to you
- 43:07Speaker 1: sogn them up, son, and he picked the octopus up
- 43:11Speaker 1: and tried to throw it. Not the octopus to wrap
- 43:14Speaker 1: round his hand. I was on that damned beach, Hollid,
- 43:19Speaker 1: that octopus I got some he wrapped completely round his hand.
- 43:28Speaker 1: I said, man, the octopus was off and he was
- 43:30Speaker 1: floating away about to go down, and the dude grabbed
- 43:33Speaker 1: it again and he wrapped around his hand. While I
- 43:35Speaker 1: was in there, Holliday said video that I wasn't even
- 43:40Speaker 1: it was too enjoyable. I said, man, thank you lord, man,
- 43:44Speaker 1: I'm glad I saw this. Yea eventually got it off
- 43:47Speaker 1: his head and took it back out there and switched
- 43:49Speaker 1: it round in the water. But this time he got
- 43:51Speaker 1: his ass out that water. And then here was the
- 43:56Speaker 1: Here was the white moment of the day. Okay, two
- 44:00Speaker 1: minutes later, three white people out there in the same place.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Come on, where is the mama octopus saying? Now? Thank you?
- 44:13Speaker 1: See for another crazy vacation story. Coming up next, the
- 44:17Speaker 1: nephew and the prank phone call for it today. Right

- 54:13Speaker 1: I'm a thirty three year old married woman and I've
- 54:15Speaker 1: been with my husband for eight years, married for five.
- 54:19Speaker 1: My husband just found out that my male best friend
- 54:22Speaker 1: is my ex boyfriend. I also have a female best
- 54:25Speaker 1: friend that I used to have threesomes with. We are
- 54:28Speaker 1: all close and they loved my husband and he loved them.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I was on FaceTime with my best friend the other
- 54:34Speaker 1: night and he mentioned a tattoo on my lower back
- 54:37Speaker 1: and said he remembered when I got it. My husband
- 54:40Speaker 1: looked at me so crazy and then told my best
- 54:42Speaker 1: friend he was out of line. My best friend laughed
- 54:46Speaker 1: and told my husband to chill out and loosen up
- 54:48Speaker 1: or he would screw his wife again. I almost fainted.
- 54:52Speaker 1: What what? Yeah? You want me to go back over
- 54:56Speaker 1: that line? You ain't got to go back over. We're
- 54:58Speaker 1: reading this damn letter right exactly, see exactly exactly. My
- 55:04Speaker 1: best friend tried to say it was a joke, but
- 55:06Speaker 1: my husband cursed him out and said he'd better not
- 55:09Speaker 1: see him anytime soon. My best friend said he was
- 55:12Speaker 1: on his way over. Less than an hour later, my
- 55:15Speaker 1: best friend showed up at our apartment ready to fight.
- 55:18Speaker 1: My husband went outside and made me stay inside. My
- 55:22Speaker 1: crazy ex was yelling so loud. I heard him tell
- 55:25Speaker 1: my husband that he slept with me for years and
- 55:27Speaker 1: we had threesomes with my female best friend. He bragged
- 55:31Speaker 1: about our sexual past. My ex boyfriend slashed best friend
- 55:35Speaker 1: and I had vowed to keep our past in the past,
- 55:38Speaker 1: and we haven't had sex in over fifteen years. They
- 55:41Speaker 1: were so loud that our neighbors came out and threatened
- 55:44Speaker 1: to call the police. My ex left and my husband
- 55:47Speaker 1: told me I could go with him, but of course
- 55:50Speaker 1: I stayed and tried to talk some sense into my
- 55:52Speaker 1: husband my best My husband said I'm a sneaky, lying woman,
- 55:56Speaker 1: and he gave me an ultimatum, either my friends or
- 55:59Speaker 1: my marriage. I don't think that's fair. Why is it
- 56:02Speaker 1: such a big deal that I'm still friends with two
- 56:04Speaker 1: people I've had sex with? Please help? Are you kidding
- 56:08Speaker 1: me right now? It's a big deal because this happened, Okay,
- 56:13Speaker 1: because your stupid ex boyfriend did this, and your husband
- 56:17Speaker 1: should have whipped his behind. Seriously, he came over there
- 56:20Speaker 1: asking for it anyway. That com he made to your
- 56:23Speaker 1: husband about screwing you and all of that was so
- 56:27Speaker 1: completely out of line and disrespectful. He obviously has a
- 56:30Speaker 1: problem with you, your marriage, and especially your husband. He's jealous,
- 56:35Speaker 1: he's a hater. He's trying to sabotage everything. He knew
- 56:40Speaker 1: exactly what he was doing with all that loud yelling
- 56:43Speaker 1: outside and around the neighbors and stuff. But you're the
- 56:46Speaker 1: problem because you don't see what your husband is talking about.
- 56:50Speaker 1: You don't see that it is such a big deal,
- 56:53Speaker 1: and you don't think it's fair that you can't see
- 56:55Speaker 1: your friends again. Come on, you need to cancel him,
- 56:57Speaker 1: You need to cancel her. Stick with your husband been
- 57:00Speaker 1: Those aren't your friends. He broke the code, he broke
- 57:03Speaker 1: the trust. All of that, you guys agreed not to tell.
- 57:06Speaker 1: And your husband doesn't care if it was fifteen years ago,
- 57:08Speaker 1: a fifteen minutes ago. All right, This dude was out
- 57:12Speaker 1: of line. He probably suspected something your husband all along. Anyway,
- 57:17Speaker 1: some things, you know, these secrets people should take to
- 57:20Speaker 1: their grave, and you should be glad his sorry butt
- 57:22Speaker 1: is out of your life, all right, Steve, Thank you,
- 57:27Speaker 1: Thank welcome, Thank you, Sherley. Beautiful letter to come back to.

- 58:23Speaker 1: Your ex boyfriend is your best friend, and your best
- 58:27Speaker 1: girlfriend you used to have threesome with. That's already too
- 58:31Speaker 1: many damn people in this letter already. We ain't even
- 58:35Speaker 1: got out the first paragraph, and I'm thinking about eight
- 58:37Speaker 1: people in here, all already this room crowded. Now we
- 58:42Speaker 1: are all close, and they loved my husband and he
- 58:45Speaker 1: loved them. That's a problem right there. How you still
- 58:49Speaker 1: close and you married with all these people that's supposed
- 58:53Speaker 1: to be your exes. It don't ever work out. I
- 58:56Speaker 1: was on FaceTime with my best friend and here's another problem.
- 59:00Speaker 1: You stop calling him your best friend, because this finic
- 59:02Speaker 1: turned ugly. I was on the phone FaceTime with my
- 59:07Speaker 1: best friend the other night and he mentioned the tattoo
- 59:10Speaker 1: on my lower back and he said he remembered when
- 59:13Speaker 1: I got it. Wait a minute, right there, all of
- 59:18Speaker 1: us on this show that's married, can you be on
- 59:22Speaker 1: a FaceTime with a person of the opposite six talking
- 59:25Speaker 1: about a damn tattoo that's on your lower back or
- 59:28Speaker 1: talking just on FaceTime? I wish I hefel would FaceTime
- 59:34Speaker 1: and I'm sitting up in here with Marge. What just already? Okay?
- 59:41Speaker 1: He mentioned the tattoo and he remember when I got it.
- 59:44Speaker 1: My husband looked at me so crazy and then told
- 59:46Speaker 1: my best friend he was out of line. Quit calling
- 59:49Speaker 1: this man your best friend. See this's the problem with
- 59:53Speaker 1: this whole letter. Your best friends ain't your friends. Then
- 59:57Speaker 1: she said, my best friend aft and told my husband
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: to chill out and loosen up or he would screw
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: his wife again. We need to stop this damn letter.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Right here, before I started cussing, We've fen to go
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: to commercial break because all I want to do right
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: now it's cuss And on a commercial break, I'm gonna
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: get all the cussing out and then I'll be back.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: All right, loosen up, and I'm gonna screw your wife again. Mother, WHOA.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: All right, Look, we'll have part two of Steve's response
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: if we still have jobs when we come back at
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter of the subject my best
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: friends are my exes. Let's that's all I got to
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: say about it right here. Okay, so I've been cussing
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the whole break right, Yes, So now let me get
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: back into this eating it ass. Let it's thirty to
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: your old woman who's her best friend is her ex
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: boyfriend and her best female friend is a woman that
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: choosed to have threesomes with a lot of people. In
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: this letter, we've discovered that she was facetiming with her
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: best friend who was another man. The other night. He
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: mentioned the tattoo on my lower back and said he
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: remember when I got it. My husband looked at me
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: so crazy and then told my best friend he was
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: out of line. Quit calling him your best friend. He
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: just mentioned the tattoo on your lower back, and he
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: remember when you got it? He didn't posted no nothing
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: about this. Okay, here we go. My best friend laughed, laughed,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: he laughed, and told my husband to chill out and
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: loosen up or he would screw his wife again. See
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: I'm confused, he laughed. He was talking to me. See
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: most men listening to this letter. Can I o't imagine
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: a man laughing telling him to chill out? Or we
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: almost screw your wife again? What you laughed, oh doc?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Or you didn't got comfortable? Then? The lady said, I
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: almost fainted. My best friend tried to say it was
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: a joke. Oudn't told your asked lady quick calling him
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: your best friend? This isn't the problem already you keep
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: referring to this man as your damn best friend. And
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: he tried to say it was a joke, but my
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: husband cuts him out and said he'd better not see
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: him anytime soon. My best friend, here she go again,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: this health for right here? She ain't learning why she
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: keep calling this fool hub. My best friend said he
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: was on his way over. They ain't a man living
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: gonna tell me to shut up and chill out, or
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: you're gonna screw my wife again, and then I promise
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: you ask whipping, and then you saying you on your
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: way over. You're not gonna believe what's happened when you
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: get him. You're not even gonna leave this. The level
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: of ass whipping, the intensity of it. You brother, let
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: me explain something to you. You're not only driving over
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: here for this ass whipping. You are about to be
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: in a near death situation. Very close. Okay, He on
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: his way over. Less than an hour later, my male
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: best friend showed up at our apartment ready to fight.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Wait a minute, excuse me? Ready to fight for? What?
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: What does he have to fight for? See, lady, you're
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: leaving something out in this letter because if your ex
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: boyfriend your husband tells him, I bet not see you soon.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: He says, I'm coming over there, and thirty minutes later
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: he drive over to you and your husband's house, ready
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: to fight. My question becomes ready to fight for? What?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Ain't nobody fighting over? No fifteen year old booty call?
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: This is something currently happening? Or drive over here? Whoop
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: you over something that happened fifteen years ago? Are you crazy? Well? Anyway,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: when he got over there, this letter is the rest
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: of this letter. If I was in this letter is
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: totally different. I don't even why we're still writing. All
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: the rest of this is just a police report, so
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I don't even know what how you still typing? You
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: got a pin here? And who drove over my house?
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: My husband went outside and made me stay inside. My
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: crazy X was yelling so loud. I heard him tell
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: my husband he slept with me for years and we
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: had threesomes with my female best friend. He bragged about
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: our sexual past. Wait a minute, how he had time
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to say all this? Yeah, say Jenson, what's what you mean?
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I heard him yelling, and he said, no, when you
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: drove over hill right that ass whooping, I promised you
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: it commisses soon as you get out to call, matter
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: of fact, the ass women starting before you get out
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: the car. Dog, I'm bossing your wonder. I don't even
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: understand this here man, this lady right here, and then
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: for years and we had three soomes with my female
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: best friend. He bragged about our sexual pass my ex
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: boyfriend and I vowed again Again here you go, you
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: keep calling this man your ex boy friend. You stupid,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: You so damned stupid. That's why you ain't goin to
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: have no husband because you keep putting value on this dude.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Right here, my ex best friend and I vowed to
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: keep our pass in the past and we haven't had
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: sex and over fifteen years. I'm finding that hard to believe,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: because ain't nobody drove over your house over some sex
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: that's fifteen years old. Not no black dude, I don't know,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: no white dude do that. I don't know no dude
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: do that. They were so loud that I neighbors came
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: out and threatened to call the police. Loud most asked.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Womens I've been involved in have been very quiet. You know,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: it's occasional grunting and stuff. But all this loud talking.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: They're out there agging. I don't even know what. They're
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: out there arguing about my ex. Now here we go.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: My ex left left. How alive your ex left? This
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: is just part of this letter. I'm not understand. Let
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: me read this to you again. My ex left left.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: I part two for this letter. When we come. Oh,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I have more for this right here, I'm stuck. They
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: aging my husband. My ex left left three in a car.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Coming up, we'll have part three of today's struggle to
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: drive away. Steve Harvey is back my best friend on
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: his own car. We'll be back right after this. You're listening,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve. Part three of today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: The subject is my best friends are my exes? I
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: showed hope y'all been with me on this letter. Right here,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: this thirty three year old woman got this ex boyfriend
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: that's her best friend, and her husband didn't know it,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: and today was talking on the phone on the FaceTime,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: which should have never happened. And then he mentioned the
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: tattoo on her back and he remember when he got it.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: The husband said, hey, man, you out of line. Best
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: friend laugh told her husband chill out, loosing up, I'm
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: gonna screw your wife again. The lady almost faigned, and
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: then she said, my best friend tried to say it
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: was a joke from husband. Custom Mount said he bet,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: and I've seen no time soon. Then the best friend
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: said he was on his way over. Less than a
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: half hour later, the male best friend showed up at
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: our apartment, Betty to fight. Because see, once you drive
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: over to the house, Betty to fight, then the fight
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: gonna happen. But now your heals would went outside made
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: you stay inside. My crazy ex was yelling so loud.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: I heard him tell my husband he snapped with me
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: for years, you might have heard him say, and I slept.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: That's but that's all you face, all this to how
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: long and all that old? And we had a three
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: soon with your girlfriends and I saw the tattoo. Ain't
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: none of that coming out, because see, it's just this
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: too much argon right now. And then my ex best
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: friend and I vowed to keep our pass in the past,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: and we haven't had sex in over fifteen years. I
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: found that hard to believe, because ain't no dude driving
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: over your house after to face a husband that threatened
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: to do something to you about his wife. Well, you're
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: gonna get in your car and come over to my house, bro,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: this is your last time. Now they out there arguin.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: The neighbors want to call the police. And then my
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: ex left left. How how I'm confused? He left on
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: his own car, He left on a gunning He left
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: in the corner back of the corner's car. Hockey league
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: not be meaning that he got back in his car
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: and my husband told me I could go with him.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Of course, I stayed in to talk some sinsing in
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: my hus I can't even believe it. I'm finn cry.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: But of course I stayed talk since my husband. My
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: husband said I'm a sneaky lin woman, and he gave
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: me an ultimate ultimatum, either my friends or my marriage.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: I don't think that's fair. You don't think that's fair.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I'm disappointed in your husband. Cast once I tell you
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: when I see you, and then you telling me how
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: you heard us outside talking? What as we're talking for?
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: I'm disappointed in the husband. I'm disappointed that the police
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: didn't have to come. I'm disappointed that your husband ain't
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: locked up. I'm I'm supported. I'm disappointed your husband ain't
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: facing charges at least second degree. I don't understand how
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: your ex was able to leave in the same damn
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: car he came in. You're gonna leave in a vehicle,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: but it won't be in a car you came up with,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: and it's gonna have lights on it. The one you
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: leave in gonna have lights on it, and it's gonna
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: make h Why is stealing? I didn't want to come

- 1:19:53Speaker 1: and we'll have some closing remarks or we'll close out
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: the show at forty nine minutes after with the one
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: and only. He's back, Steve Harvey. Right after this. You're
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: listening to show? All right, guys, here we are our
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Tuesday. Going to
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: be a short week because of the holiday yesterday. Yeah, okay,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Steve is back, your first day back in a minute.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: We missed your Steve. We have fun, of course, but
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: we missed you. I appreciate you all holding it down
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: while I was out, you know, appreciate your fans staying
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: with us. Heard some good things about it, So I
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: appreciate that. In closing today, I would like to leave
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: you all with this. I was thinking about this while
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: I was on vacation and I wanted to share it
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: with you. There is a winner in all of us.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it again, there is a winner in
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: all of us. You just have to get after it.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Let me explain something to you about this winner that's
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: in all of us. It starts with one thing. This
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: is the core essence of bringing out and developing the
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: winner in you. This is the core essence of being
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: what God intends for you to be. This is the
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: core essence of making your dreams come true. It is
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: one simple thing that all of us must apply, and
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: it is you have to believe. That's the core of
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: it all. It only begins with what you believe, what
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: your mind can believe. You can achieve what your mind
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: can conceive. To believe, you will achieve. But you have
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: to believe. Nothing moves without it. I don't care what
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: you do, I don't care what nobody tell you. If
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: you want the life that you dream of, and you
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: want the life that's in your imagination, the first thing
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: you have to do is believe that it can happen.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: If you do not believe it, we can stop this
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: conversation right now. So I want everybody out there to
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: think about this in terms of just the simple thing
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: is do I believe? Ask yourself that if you've written
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: your visions down, if you want things to happen in
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: your life, if you aspire to certain things, ask yourself
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: this simple question, do you really believe it can happen?
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: Because if you don't, it won't. It all has to
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: stem from the belief that it can happen. Now there's
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: an amazing thing that happens along the way, because God
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: puts this thing on your belief called grace, and he
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: puts this thing on your life called favor, and it
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: ends up, as I can bear witness to, it ends
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: up being more than you originally believed it could be.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: But if you do not start with the simple concept
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: and believe it can happen, it won't. It won't. I'm sorry,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: it won't. If you never believe that you can be successful,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: you won't. You can't because it needs the belief to
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: start the process. If you never believe you're gonna make it,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: you're not going to make it. I just don't. I
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: just don't believe I'm gonna make it. No, Well, you're right,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: you're right. The core essence is belief, and you don't
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: have to have a bunch of it. You just need
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: to have it. See, stop measuring your belief by what
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: somebody else beliefs is. Just deal with your form of belief. See,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: somebody believes there'll be a billionaire. But maybe you just
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: want to believe that you can make a hundred thousand dollars. Okay,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: let's go with that belief. If you accomplish that. And
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: when you accomplish that, guess what, It opens up the
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: possibilities of more beliefs. It happened to me what I
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: believed I wanted to be. Once I accomplished accomplished it,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: it opened up my life to more beliefs. I was
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: able to see more for myself. Because all you need
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: is a little bit of success to think you can
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: make it. All you got to do is run a hundred,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: to believe that one day you can run two hundred,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: and once you run a two hundred, that maybe I
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: can get around here and run this four hundred, and
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: then maybe I can run an eight to eighty, and
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: then maybe one day I can run a mile. But
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: you got to start somewhere. But you can't sit there
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: and want to run a marathon and never attempt to
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: run a mile. You have to believe one day that
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: you can run a mile, and then once you run
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: a mile, maybe you build up to two to five,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: to ten to fifteen. That's how it's done, That's how
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: life works. You only need a little bit of belief
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: in the beginning. You don't have to believe at all.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: Let God take care of that. Put yourself in the
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: race by starting with the belief. Come on, y'all, what
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: can you muster in your mind to believe? You know?
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: I hear it, used to hear old people when I
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: went to church. They used to say, all you need
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: is the faith of a must see the smallest of
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: all siege. Everybody's heard that, right, Well, that's all the
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: belief you need. Just need a little bit of belief.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: And if you accomplish that, you never know you can
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: have a bigger belief. But it starts with the belief.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: So I don't care who you are. You wrote it
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: down on a piece of paper. You've been hoping, but
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: until you believe it don't happen. And you got to
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: say it out loud. I believe. Put it in your
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: head and say I believe. And then stop listening to
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: the naysayers and the haters and the doubt and the
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: clouds of confusion that get in and stick to the belief.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Stay with the belief. Man. When it looked dark out there,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: believe that the sun gonna come up in the morning.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: When it looked like it ain't no way, believe that
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: they will be away. That's the only way it happened.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: It starts with belief. So from now on, everything you
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: want in life start by saying I believe, and watch
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: what happens. Those are my closing remarks today. I enjoyed it.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Appreciate y'all, Appreciate your team for holding it down while
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: I was gone. But your boys back. I got you.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: From here on that climb on my back and let's
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: go to work. Jill. For all Steve Harvey contests, no
