- 2:15Speaker 1: on man on man. Grateful for It comes with a
- 2:20Speaker 1: huge amount of responsibility. I didn't really know I was
- 2:25Speaker 1: gonna have to be this responsible, you know. Um, can
- 2:29Speaker 1: I share something with y'all? You know? Um I started
- 2:34Speaker 1: out uh to Finally I had gotten on track and
- 2:39Speaker 1: was able to see away uh to even uh uh
- 2:44Speaker 1: pursue uh my dream. Um it has been Um it
- 2:53Speaker 1: has been a long, a long trip that I've been on.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Uh and I've gone through so many phases of it.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Um it is it is rewarding along the way, uh,
- 3:10Speaker 1: to accomplish your dreams. What I'm saying is this, let me,
- 3:14Speaker 1: let me put it together, because I got so much
- 3:16Speaker 1: running through my head right now. You know it's it's
- 3:19Speaker 1: one thing to accomplish your dreams, but there's joy in
- 3:24Speaker 1: the process of achieving it. See, some people are so
- 3:30Speaker 1: caught up in the goal, the final goal, that they
- 3:35Speaker 1: find no joy, no enjoyment in the process. If you
- 3:42Speaker 1: have found what it is you want to do and
- 3:47Speaker 1: you strike out on that journey, please understand you are
- 3:52Speaker 1: far more blessed than the average person. Do you understand
- 3:56Speaker 1: that to know what it is you really want to do,
- 4:00Speaker 1: to find your work in life, your purpose, to find
- 4:06Speaker 1: out what direction you want to go in is such
- 4:10Speaker 1: a blessing. The average person, if you sit down and
- 4:14Speaker 1: talk to them, oftentimes don't have their life on track.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And it'd be some people that you're looking at you think, God,
- 4:21Speaker 1: ay're going on because of their appearance, their swagger, or
- 4:26Speaker 1: they walk like it, they talk like it, they look
- 4:28Speaker 1: like it. But if you sit down and talk to
- 4:30Speaker 1: the average person, the average person man does not know
- 4:36Speaker 1: what their purpose is, has not discovered what they wanna do,
- 4:40Speaker 1: and have no idea how to get there. If you
- 4:43Speaker 1: are on the other side of that, if you understand
- 4:47Speaker 1: your purpose, if you have an idea of what you
- 4:50Speaker 1: wanna be, and you are on your way there, you
- 4:53Speaker 1: are truly blessed. And in that blessing you must recognize
- 4:59Speaker 1: that as a blessed you must recognize the fact that
- 5:04Speaker 1: you are you are on the right side, and that
- 5:09Speaker 1: there should be a sense of accomplishment and a feeling
- 5:12Speaker 1: of pride in you that you are on track to
- 5:15Speaker 1: accomplish your goal. See what used to happen was sometimes
- 5:21Speaker 1: I used to keep my nose so on the grindstone
- 5:25Speaker 1: that I wouldn't even look up and realize, Man, hey man,
- 5:29Speaker 1: I know you're trying to get here, but Steve, hold on, man,
- 5:33Speaker 1: can't you see what you've done so far? Can't you
- 5:36Speaker 1: find just some joy in the process. See, a lot
- 5:39Speaker 1: of us lose the joy of the blessings God has
- 5:42Speaker 1: given us because we're looking at the end tomorrow. I
- 5:45Speaker 1: ain't there yet, You're on your way. I'm gonna give
- 5:49Speaker 1: you an example. I had a friend who told me
- 5:54Speaker 1: that they wanted to be a million now, and they
- 5:56Speaker 1: asked me some questions and I told him, so they
- 6:00Speaker 1: started the process, and I am telling you, this dude
- 6:05Speaker 1: works extremely hard. So about a year later we were talking.
- 6:12Speaker 1: He had found this business, he had uh set his goal,
- 6:19Speaker 1: and he was working towards him. And I checked him
- 6:23Speaker 1: bout the year. And then about two years later I
- 6:26Speaker 1: ran up into him again. We were talking about it
- 6:28Speaker 1: and everything. It's a man really really appreciate the advice.
- 6:31Speaker 1: He said, Man, but this is this is it is
- 6:33Speaker 1: all jacked up, man, because I still ain't made that
- 6:36Speaker 1: million I was talking about. I said, well, hey, man,
- 6:40Speaker 1: just just keep at it. It's coming. He's a man.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Keep at it. Man, you know how long I've been
- 6:44Speaker 1: doing this? And I got quiet because, yeah, I know
- 6:47Speaker 1: exactly how long you've been been two years now. And
- 6:51Speaker 1: I didn't say that to him, but I said to myself, yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 1: two years. He's a man. I've been grinding so long. Man,
- 6:56Speaker 1: it's just it ain't having it from me. I said, minute, man,
- 7:00Speaker 1: hold hold on, hold on. I said about how much
- 7:03Speaker 1: you're making right now a year, man, about two hundred
- 7:07Speaker 1: fifty thousands. I quit breathing. I said, well, my man,
- 7:14Speaker 1: two years ago you didn't have a clue. Two years later,
- 7:22Speaker 1: you're making a quarter of a million. Dollars. I said, man,
- 7:27Speaker 1: do you understand how blessed you are? I said, man,
- 7:30Speaker 1: your family was about to get put out two years ago.
- 7:35Speaker 1: You don't borrow the house? Yeah, man, but this ain't
- 7:37Speaker 1: the house. I really won't whoa partner? Whoa I got that?
- 7:42Speaker 1: I got that house? You really won't make my car
- 7:45Speaker 1: five eight million? I don't know. But man, y'all got
- 7:49Speaker 1: a house, you're making a payment, You drive it. You
- 7:51Speaker 1: ain't out no more. I said, hold on, man, you
- 7:53Speaker 1: gotta stop. I said, you got to stop. I said, man,
- 7:55Speaker 1: because right now, man, you you're coming across as real
- 7:58Speaker 1: ungrateful to me. So I know, God, who has done
- 8:01Speaker 1: all this for you got to be looking at you
- 8:03Speaker 1: with his own folded. But then he God, so he
- 8:06Speaker 1: probably handled it all together different. I was just speculating
- 8:09Speaker 1: with him, and so he said, man, why are you
- 8:10Speaker 1: tripping like that? Man? Man, you act like don't nobody
- 8:13Speaker 1: want to have nothing but you? I said, WHOA? Man?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Where you going with this conversation? I said, Oh, I
- 8:18Speaker 1: didn't come to you. I just came to you and
- 8:19Speaker 1: asked you how you doing. And I'm trying to point
- 8:22Speaker 1: out to you that the journey that you started on
- 8:25Speaker 1: that you are on your way, and you are in
- 8:27Speaker 1: the process of accomplishing your goals, and can you not
- 8:30Speaker 1: feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment. Quit
- 8:35Speaker 1: tripping on the fact that you ain't made a million yet.
- 8:37Speaker 1: You on your way. You don't went from your He thought,
- 8:40Speaker 1: this dude was making fifteen thousand dollars a year. You
- 8:42Speaker 1: making quarter of a million dollars in two years. May
- 8:44Speaker 1: come on, man, can't you see? Can't you see? So?
- 8:49Speaker 1: He said? Eventually, Ah, man, I kind of see what
- 8:52Speaker 1: you're saying. But that ain't about nothing to me because
- 8:54Speaker 1: I ran up into him a year and a half later.
- 9:00Speaker 1: How you doing, man, man, I showed, wish I had
- 9:03Speaker 1: appreciated my life when I had it like that? I said,
- 9:06Speaker 1: what you mean, had it like that and just fell
- 9:09Speaker 1: on some hard times? Man? Right back? Why I was?
- 9:13Speaker 1: And then we talked. I said, Hey, man, don't worry
- 9:15Speaker 1: about it. I said. Once you know how to accomplish something,
- 9:17Speaker 1: I said, you just reapply the same principles and start
- 9:20Speaker 1: on over again. Man, you know how hard it is
- 9:23Speaker 1: to be the start over? Okay, my man, Hold up, partner,
- 9:25Speaker 1: you've ben do yourself like this again. First, you wasn't
- 9:28Speaker 1: grateful for what you had. Now you're looking at the
- 9:31Speaker 1: fact that you might have to start over, and you
- 9:33Speaker 1: know how hard it is to start over. But you
- 9:35Speaker 1: have the knowledge, the principles, and you got a little
- 9:38Speaker 1: bit of money to go on and get it going again.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I said, Man, don't keep doing this to yourself. I said, Man,
- 9:43Speaker 1: you ain't grateful no matter what God do for you.
- 9:46Speaker 1: So what you need to do, partner, stop reassess yourself
- 9:50Speaker 1: the fact that you were not grateful in the first place.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Could that be the reason why? You know? Man, maybe
- 9:57Speaker 1: I'm not calling it cause I ain't got I do
- 9:59Speaker 1: not know how he think, nor do I claim to know.
- 10:02Speaker 1: But let's just imagine for a moment. Let's just say,
- 10:07Speaker 1: maybe for a moment, maybe God said, Okay, you ain't
- 10:13Speaker 1: happy with this. Okay, didn't handle it your way? You
- 10:17Speaker 1: obviously ain't happy with the way I'm bringing it into
- 10:20Speaker 1: your life. You want to handle it your way, Go
- 10:21Speaker 1: ahead and handle it because he will let you have
- 10:23Speaker 1: it your way. Can I tell you that he will
- 10:26Speaker 1: let you do it exactly the way you want to
- 10:28Speaker 1: it because He gives us all the power of choice.
- 10:30Speaker 1: So then maybe he said, okay, you don't appreciate the
- 10:33Speaker 1: way I'm doing it. You don't like the favor I'm
- 10:35Speaker 1: showing you. You think it's take it too long. I'm
- 10:37Speaker 1: gonna let you do it your way. I'm not gonna
- 10:39Speaker 1: turn my back on you. I'm just gonna let you
- 10:42Speaker 1: do it your way. Just just say. Maybe he said
- 10:44Speaker 1: that and now he right back where he was. So
- 10:50Speaker 1: what I tried to get the young cat to understand was, man,
- 10:54Speaker 1: appreciate your life for what it is, because like um life,
- 10:59Speaker 1: Jenny's got that song that he got out off this album.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Still I still believe it could have been worse. And
- 11:05Speaker 1: now that it is worse. What's on your mind now, Folks,
- 11:10Speaker 1: if you are on that side of life where you
- 11:12Speaker 1: have figured out what you wanna do, you know how
- 11:14Speaker 1: you're gonna get that, and you know your purpose. You're
- 11:17Speaker 1: accomplishing what the majority of people never ever do. So
- 11:20Speaker 1: be grateful for your process. Be grateful for the fact
- 11:24Speaker 1: that you ain't got what, you won't yet everything, but
- 11:26Speaker 1: you are on your way to getting it. That is
- 11:28Speaker 1: some gratitude that has to be shown in that regard. Okay,
- 11:32Speaker 1: don't tumble yourself, don't throw yourself off the Cliff, It's
- 11:36Speaker 1: gonna be all right. Success takes a measure of time.
- 11:40Speaker 1: It is not easy. If successful easy, everybody would be successful.
- 11:46Speaker 1: The usually the difference between people who are successful in
- 11:50Speaker 1: people who are not is that the successful people never
- 11:53Speaker 1: gave up. You got to stay with it. Please be encouraged.
- 12:01Speaker 1: If you stay with it, if you never give up,
- 12:04Speaker 1: God will bring you through. That's a one percent for show,
- 12:09Speaker 1: because that's his promise. Now, if we could just keep
- 12:13Speaker 1: our end of the bog, that's the trick, all right, y'all.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry this morning if I sounded a little all
- 12:20Speaker 1: over the place, in a little jumble, but that's how
- 12:22Speaker 1: it came to me. So you know, uh, y'all, keep
- 12:26Speaker 1: your head up. You're listening. St Eighteen minutes after that.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I welcome to the ride, y'all. I ain't gonna let
- 12:39Speaker 1: nobody still my Joe. I don't let nobody still my Joe.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I ain't gonna let nobody still my Joe, even though
- 12:56Speaker 1: the person trying sean morning, everybody, morning, great day today. Man,
- 13:09Speaker 1: God is in the blessing business, you lord, it is

- 13:19Speaker 1: about you I'm good. Good. Can I ask for some? Yeah?

- 13:33Speaker 1: Can I ask for some? That's you uncle. You're not
- 13:37Speaker 1: talking to me, that's you uncle, Uncle Steve. Can I
- 13:41Speaker 1: ask what do you want? Can we have? I won't
- 13:47Speaker 1: complain by Paul John Nope, okay, okay, let's keep moving,
- 13:56Speaker 1: keep it moving, Okay, Well, be grateful. But Walter like Paul, see,

- 20:16Speaker 1: and they're reporting the news. But you're gonna do something

- 21:44Speaker 1: to my daughter's school on Tuesday, and you know she
- 21:48Speaker 1: and junior high school, thirteen years old. The cake was
- 21:51Speaker 1: supposed to have hand on one town on it, and
- 21:53Speaker 1: it was supposed to say happy Birthday. Now the cake
- 21:57Speaker 1: get delivered over there today and I can't for the
- 22:00Speaker 1: life believe that this is happen. Were in her class room,
- 22:02Speaker 1: all the classmates and there some teachers in there. The
- 22:05Speaker 1: principle that came down. We're from the have cake and
- 22:07Speaker 1: ice cream for the kids. And when they owen up
- 22:09Speaker 1: the cake, it's a man's private part on the cake.

- 30:22Speaker 1: She's here with today's headline news and the latest on
- 30:25Speaker 1: the development. It's always some about the white why Tavern Russia,
- 30:30Speaker 1: pro healthcare bill, Trump credit for Colin Kaepernick's uhment? What
- 30:40Speaker 1: that means? He's a free agent now you know he's
- 30:45Speaker 1: a free note note other team has picked him up yet,
- 30:48Speaker 1: and Trump has said it's because he doesn't want him
- 30:51Speaker 1: to tweet about him. Meet you the President, don't don't you? Yes? Yes?
- 30:59Speaker 1: NFL court and been sacked. Nick said he's not gonna,
- 31:05Speaker 1: you know, politicize his job anymore. He's not gonna do
- 31:07Speaker 1: that anymore. He's gonna stand up on the national anthem.
- 31:11Speaker 1: All that's over, So yeah, come on, keep it moving,
- 31:16Speaker 1: all right, Miss Anna is here. I don't even have
- 31:19Speaker 1: time for it too much, right, Yeah, no one does
- 31:24Speaker 1: quite frankly Trump. Let's know I have it no since
- 31:33Speaker 1: the time I was up there no, I haven't. Okay,
- 31:37Speaker 1: Miss Anna is here, Steve. Alright, good morning, miss saying
- 31:44Speaker 1: good morning, Steve. If you're warning everybody yet, there's always
- 31:46Speaker 1: something going on in the news, there's always going something
- 31:49Speaker 1: going on with the president. President Trump is warning fellow
- 31:51Speaker 1: Republicans that they're gonna lose big in eighteen if they
- 31:54Speaker 1: don't pass the new GOP sponsored health care bill. How
- 31:57Speaker 1: speak of Paul Ryan's trying to corral the troops and
- 32:00Speaker 1: on this one. Also, this is our chance, and this
- 32:02Speaker 1: is our moment. It's a big moment, and I think
- 32:04Speaker 1: our members are beginning to appreciate just what kind of
- 32:06Speaker 1: a rendezvous of destiny we have right here. So that's
- 32:08Speaker 1: why we're going to pass the best possible legislation we can.
- 32:11Speaker 1: The President helped negotiate these changes, send it over to
- 32:14Speaker 1: the Senate, and then the Senate, without jeopardizing the bill,
- 32:17Speaker 1: can make improvements to the bill. And then at the
- 32:19Speaker 1: end of the day, it really is a choice. Do
- 32:21Speaker 1: you want to stick with the Obamacare status quo. Do
- 32:24Speaker 1: you want to stick with the idea that we made
- 32:26Speaker 1: a promise and we're not going to keep it, or
- 32:28Speaker 1: do we want to replace this bill with clearly a
- 32:31Speaker 1: much much better law, something that makes good on our
- 32:33Speaker 1: principles and our promises and gets this country on the
- 32:36Speaker 1: right track. That's what he's saying. Voting on the bill
- 32:38Speaker 1: slated to take place before the end of the week,
- 32:40Speaker 1: we'll see what happens. A jury has now been selected
- 32:43Speaker 1: for the trial of former Penn State President Graham Spaniard.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Now Spanning is accused of having been told that former
- 32:48Speaker 1: assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was sexually abusing young boys.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Yet they say Spaniard did nothing about that. Spani is
- 32:55Speaker 1: accused of endanging the welfare of children. Finally, yes, someone,
- 33:01Speaker 1: authorities say. The Grammy Award winning Haitian American musician and
- 33:05Speaker 1: rapper white Cliffs Gen briefly detained in Hollywood early yesterday
- 33:08Speaker 1: morning as cops search for robbery suspect. White Cliff took
- 33:12Speaker 1: the social media tweeting another case of mistaken identity by
- 33:15Speaker 1: the l a p D. A black man with a
- 33:17Speaker 1: red bandanna robbed a gas station as I was in
- 33:19Speaker 1: the studio working, but I'm in handcuffs and he posted
- 33:22Speaker 1: a video of himself being arrested to suspects subsequently nabbed
- 33:26Speaker 1: in connection with the crime. Whitecliff wants a formal investigation.
- 33:29Speaker 1: He says he was subjected to police brutality, racial profiling,
- 33:32Speaker 1: and police bias. He wants the A c l U
- 33:35Speaker 1: and the Black Lives Matter movement to back him on this.
- 33:38Speaker 1: And finally, Game show creator Chuck Barriss has died at
- 33:41Speaker 1: age eighties seven. He also created the Dating Game and
- 33:44Speaker 1: a Newlywed Game. W Steve Harvey's Morning Show. Now back
- 33:47Speaker 1: to the show. I thank you, miss Shirley. What's what's
- 33:53Speaker 1: what's your gun? Well, you know we still have this
- 33:55Speaker 1: ongoing question of the week, Steve. This is a good one.
- 33:58Speaker 1: It is. Have you ever texted him, won the wrong message,
- 34:01Speaker 1: or didn't hang up the phone and that person heard
- 34:03Speaker 1: something you didn't want them to hear. Everyone has a story,
- 34:06Speaker 1: call us and tell us all about it. Eight seven
- 34:09Speaker 1: seven nine, Steve, let's go to line too and talk
- 34:13Speaker 1: the house out of Michigan. How what up? What up?
- 34:22Speaker 1: That's the Detroit Damn Sorry, that's what that's That's what
- 34:24Speaker 1: we say when we, you know, speak to each other.
- 34:27Speaker 1: We love it good? All right? Like I was in
- 34:31Speaker 1: high school now, my mother bought a new phone. Me
- 34:35Speaker 1: and some friends were getting together we're about to go
- 34:36Speaker 1: to the mall. This was some years ago. I'm old now,
- 34:38Speaker 1: so you know, I call another friend. His mother answer,
- 34:43Speaker 1: I say, you know there. She's like, no, but I
- 34:45Speaker 1: haven't called you. So I put the phone down because
- 34:48Speaker 1: that's where usually you know, these older phones, you put
- 34:50Speaker 1: them down on the face they hang up. Well, this
- 34:53Speaker 1: one didn't hang up, and I started to kill the
- 34:56Speaker 1: other two dudes that didn't. Haven't seen his mother how
- 34:58Speaker 1: first she was in the most vulgar and profane where
- 35:02Speaker 1: you can think of just describing. Okay, so I hear loudly,
- 35:10Speaker 1: excuse me, hello, I picked the phone up and didn't
- 35:14Speaker 1: hang up. She heard every word. So I heard this, sister,
- 35:17Speaker 1: but hang the phone up. He don't call it back.
- 35:21Speaker 1: So we just go over to his house. Teenage stupid.
- 35:25Speaker 1: We get to the house. I'm standing there. She let
- 35:28Speaker 1: everybody in. I got my head down, and she like,
- 35:31Speaker 1: I need to speak to you, and I'm like I'm here.
- 35:34Speaker 1: I'm thinking, I'm this it, I'm done. She don't call
- 35:37Speaker 1: my mother. I'm out of there. They go downstairs. She
- 35:40Speaker 1: taking me upstairs to her bedroom because I'm like, okay,
- 35:43Speaker 1: if she's about to come mother, you know, she wants
- 35:44Speaker 1: to be private or whatever. She stopped into the bathroom
- 35:47Speaker 1: coming in a sliter. She stepped out with a roll on.
- 35:50Speaker 1: She opened the road and say, is this what you
- 35:52Speaker 1: were talking about? No, you didn't hit the jack this
- 35:57Speaker 1: Come on, keep talking. I almost fell out, seriously almost
- 36:03Speaker 1: fell out, up house. He was a teenager. You're supposed
- 36:08Speaker 1: to man up, baby, what happened? Keep going? He was
- 36:13Speaker 1: When I tell you that she taught me to be
- 36:16Speaker 1: the lover that I am. Now she did it. She
- 36:20Speaker 1: taught me to be patient a thorough Okay, So and
- 36:26Speaker 1: look the reason I don't want to use my name
- 36:28Speaker 1: is because they don't just dude, don't know about this? Yeah,
- 36:34Speaker 1: exactly in my face, like you know the time this
- 36:39Speaker 1: went on? House? Oh no, this this this this one
- 36:43Speaker 1: time thing. I mean, look I never looked under the
- 36:46Speaker 1: same way afterwards, but I never you know, really chased
- 36:49Speaker 1: after the do it again? So yeah, it was one
- 36:52Speaker 1: time thing the first time to that first time. Why
- 36:59Speaker 1: is is making you hot? I don't know? Yes, yes,
- 37:11Speaker 1: just so what you do? Then? Come on, did you
- 37:19Speaker 1: get a piece of the room. I know it doesn't
- 37:22Speaker 1: take much of what you say. Then how long did
- 37:28Speaker 1: it last? If you go back on sound like fall off? Man,
- 37:40Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, man, let me wipe my mouth.
- 37:43Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show. He's what Eugene, somebody show Just

- 55:29Speaker 1: cause because I gotta ask you, But I gotta ask
- 55:33Speaker 1: you one more thing, though, what is what is the
- 55:36Speaker 1: baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the land,
- 55:41Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Baby, if you're looking for stupid
- 55:46Speaker 1: this weekend, the Nephew will be in Dothan, Alabama. That's right,
- 55:49Speaker 1: that's Saturday, March at the Civic Center. And everybody in
- 55:53Speaker 1: my head is coming to the stage. You hear what
- 55:56Speaker 1: I said, The Nephew Dothan, Alabama. Yea right, you're listening
- 55:59Speaker 1: to the Steve Eve Harvey Morning Show. It's that time.
- 56:05Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. Subject all these darned kids.
- 56:13Speaker 1: What's going on? Morning crew. I have been in a
- 56:16Speaker 1: relationship with my woman for about five years now, and
- 56:20Speaker 1: she is the mother of my son. When I met her,
- 56:23Speaker 1: she already had one son that was still a baby.
- 56:27Speaker 1: I've been taking care of him since he don't have
- 56:29Speaker 1: a clue who his real father is. I'm a good man,
- 56:32Speaker 1: so I took on the responsibility. Eventually we later had
- 56:35Speaker 1: a kid together. This is all good, but now she
- 56:39Speaker 1: wants to have another one. As tough as times is now,
- 56:43Speaker 1: we don't need another child. I'm in school because I
- 56:46Speaker 1: can't find a job and she works part time at
- 56:49Speaker 1: a daycare center. We can't afford to have another baby,
- 56:53Speaker 1: but she always wants to have sex. I'm with that.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Her Medicaid done ran out, so she's not on the
- 57:00Speaker 1: shot anymore. I like the pleasure of feeling the real
- 57:03Speaker 1: thing when I do the do. I don't want a condom.
- 57:06Speaker 1: This is my woman. I know we cool help me out, Steve,
- 57:09Speaker 1: what would you do in this situation? My advice to you,
- 57:13Speaker 1: based on everything you've said in this letter is you
- 57:16Speaker 1: can get a va sectomy. Uh. You certainly can. A
- 57:19Speaker 1: lot of men do that. Uh, A lot of men
- 57:23Speaker 1: do it if you don't want any more children and
- 57:26Speaker 1: you don't want to use protection because you are so
- 57:29Speaker 1: right in your present financial state with you just working
- 57:31Speaker 1: part time, with her just parking part time, and uh,
- 57:37Speaker 1: with her just working part time and you in school
- 57:41Speaker 1: with no job, it will be a financial burden on
- 57:44Speaker 1: you right now, We got it, Steve, But have you
- 57:49Speaker 1: actually sat down and talked to her about this? Have
- 57:52Speaker 1: you actually sat down and talked to her? I think
- 57:55Speaker 1: you should discuss your options together. You guys have been
- 57:57Speaker 1: together five years, you're you are married, but um, you know,
- 58:02Speaker 1: you gotta come up with some kind of plan because
- 58:04Speaker 1: if you don't want to use condoms, chances are she
- 58:06Speaker 1: will get pregnant. If you guys are going at the
- 58:08Speaker 1: rate you're going, and this is not what you want.
- 58:10Speaker 1: You guys both have to be on the same page.
- 58:12Speaker 1: You're in a relationship together. Steve, Well, dog, I don't
- 58:19Speaker 1: really feel sorry for you, bro, I don't really know
- 58:21Speaker 1: what to tell you. Man. You you got a problem
- 58:25Speaker 1: that you ain't really trying to solve yourself though. See,
- 58:30Speaker 1: let's the question at the end of your letter, is Steve,
- 58:35Speaker 1: what would you do in this situation? I don't don't
- 58:39Speaker 1: ask me that. Let's really, though, Dog, since you ain't
- 58:42Speaker 1: put your name on him, don't ask Steve what he
- 58:45Speaker 1: would do. Let's talk about what you ain't going So, really,
- 58:50Speaker 1: that's what going on. I don't even here about what
- 58:55Speaker 1: I do. Let's just talk about what you ain't gonna do.
- 58:58Speaker 1: First of all, this is your woman for five years now,

- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Let's let's let's go back again. You ain't getting married.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: You ain't gonna start wanting another baby. You ain't working,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: you ain't gonna wear a condom, and here's the big one.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: You ain't gonna stop doing to do without the condom
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: or the job, or the willingness to have another baby
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: or the marriage. So really, dog, this is about you.

- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I immediately started shaking. My palms got wet and I

- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I can't afford for it to get injured. You can't
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: snip and something happened. You can't cut off the gravy train.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: You can't do it. It's like shutting down the power
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: to the housing unit. It's like losing power to the locomotive.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: It's like shutting down the lion. Tame on, you gonna
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: I can't take a cut that. I hurried it through
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: the grapevine. If you cut it, I can't hear through
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: the grapevine. Crazy. That's like telling the pod piper to
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: shut up, don't blow your flute, don't play no more.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: It's like not having a hot line. Yeah, how are
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: you gonna get the information out? Ain't taking it? You
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: mess up and cut off the love tunnel. It can't
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: even happen to me, Shirley and Carlin cap relater this corse.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: That's like cutting off the market rope. What the monkeet rolle?
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: The market got ahead of the rope. You can't cut
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: off the market rope. But it's it's like being a
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: little boy and all of a sudden you got you
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: ain't got no bite chain. Where are you going? Your master?
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Lengdon came over. Can't held me throughing that? What's you
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: get to do with this? Like hand me a microphone
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: and pull the cord out? What through it was? Just?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: That's like, that's like turning over the vegetable Trump. We
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: ain't hate nothing yet, cutting off the pleasure pump. That's
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: like not having I'm in the rodeo without the road.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Can you win? I'm shutting down the love line. Hello,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: but you didn't write the letter. He cut the wrong
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: shutting down joy maker, joy maker Joe I have had

- 1:08:49Speaker 1: but I didn't like it because I was one of
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: my stuff right then and there. I was even that
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: ag about how much you put down. That's how I broke.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I was were thirty minutes and they're aguing about what
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I gotta put on that a whole So you can't

- 1:09:22Speaker 1: good morning, Steve, morning, everybody out there. This his hand
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: trip with the news. Good morning, good morning, the lovely ladies,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Good morning, Tommy, Good morning everybody Junior. According to ABC News,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Get to This and ABC News report says the Feds
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: were monitoring we're monitoring a Russian crime organization at Trump Tower.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: But that was years before Donald Trump ever ran for office.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: It was between the years of twenty eleven and the
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: report says that the Feds were monitoring a Russian organization
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: involved in international money laundering, sports gambling, and extortion working
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: out of a unit three fours three floors below the
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Trump pen House. It wasn't the Trump Penn House. It
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: was below in another apartment, and they were doing it
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: legally by way of a court sanctioned warrant, which is
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: how you have to wire tap people. Eventually, the fees,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: they say, raided the apartment and arrested and indicted more
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: than thirty people. So that was a long time ago
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: before Mr Trump is running for office. Okay. The District
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Attorney of Philadelphia was has been now charged of twenty
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: three counts of taking bribes, of cash, vacations in a car,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: and of using money meant to pay a relatives nursing
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: home bill for his own needs. Battle officials say Seth Williams,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: twice elected as Philadelphia's d A, accused of accepting bribes
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: between twenty and twenty fifteen to help a couple of
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: business owners. They say Williams also a misappropriated a relatives
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: pension money and Social Security payments. Williams is fifty years old.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: He faces twenty three federal charges, ten counts of accepting bribes,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: eleven council of wire fraud, two counts of extortion. They
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: say he got like trips and stuff and used Jaguar
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: and some other stuff. They're accusing him of taking from
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: people as part of a lot do time for a
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: year's jays. I guess they're expensive. I don't know I
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: don't know. I write it back to work anyway, So
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: one please call nine one one thought he say. Grammy
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Award winning Haitian American musician and rapper white Cliffe John
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: briefly detained in Hollywood early yesterday morning his cops search
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: for a robbery suspect. He went to social media. He tweeted,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: quote l A p D another case of mistaken identity.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Black man with a red man Danna robs the gas
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: station as I was in the studio working, but I'm
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: in handcuff and he posted a video of himself being
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: handcuffed by right now coming from the studio with T B.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: And y'all see the police have handcuffs on me. They
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: just took off my Haitian Vandanna. That's what's going on
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: right now with white Cliff and Elli. Right now. The
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: l a p D. Don't have me and cuffs absolutely nothing.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Two suspects subsequently nabbed in connection with the crime. White
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Cliff wants a formal investigation. He says he was subjected
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: to police brutality, racial profiling, police is bias. He wants
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: the a c l U and Black Lives Mattter movement
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: to back him on this and finally game show created
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Chuck Barriss has died. I used to love that show
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: show and I didn't know. Chuck Barriss also came up
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: with the game shows the dating game in the Newywood Game,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: so he was rich. Died at a j seven. Now
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Everybody, all right,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: thank you ms Anne. When we come back from the
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: break at forty eight after the hour, Dave Chappelle is
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: back in the news in a big way. He said
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: that Key and Peel hurt his feelings. You're listening to
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show, alright. Coming up next, Dave
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Chappelle sets the record straight on Key and Peel. All Right,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle explained to Gayle King because she did the
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: most recent interview with him from CBS this morning. Uh
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: why why he had a problem with Ken Peel. In
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: case you missed it, Some say Dave Chappelle has publicly
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: had a problem with Key and Peel throughout the years
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: for basically ripping off the Chapelle's show formula. Take a listen.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I think there's a speculation that Dave doesn't like Key
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: and Peel or Dave thinks. Okay, no, I'm a fan
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: of this show. You know, when I did Chappelle's show,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: there were certain conventions of the show that the network,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: and I fought the network so that those conventions could
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: come to fruition. We're looking for Clayton Bigsby, Look no
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: further fella, your family. The first episode I do that
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: black white supremacist kession, It's like, well, that's ten minutes long.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Should be five minutes long? Why should it be five
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: minutes long? Like these types of convention, I fought very hard.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: So when I watched Kim Peel and I see there
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: doing the format that I created and at the end
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: of the show was just created by camp Peel, hurts
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: my feelings. Okay, yeah, point taking Dave Chappelle. Both shows
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: were good. Yeah, all acts are good. Steve Harvey says nothing,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: we're good we're doing. But if he created it, give
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: him his props, that's all he's saying. And I'm sure
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: they respect him. Absolutely sure they rest him. Yeah to
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: the utmost, So big up. Both talented, very talented, Key
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: and Peep and welcome back, Dave Chappelle. It's been a
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: minute since we've heard from you, so welcome back. Okay, Steve,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: I know you're not saying anything. But then Dave's Chappelle
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: went on to say some things about comedy that we
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: feel you could probably relate to. Take a listen to
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: this comedies with the line moves, it changes. But I
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: think a lot of especsing in comedy. A lot of
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: it has to do with intent and your intentions and
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: to make people laugh, to reconcile paradox. I'm like just
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: openly sometimes, just openly been. I think that when you
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: get to a certain altitude, there's more scrutiny over the
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: things you say because the platform is so powerful for
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: you where I can talk because I could talk about
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: that certain get to another altitude, everything you say has waited.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: It's weighted different. That's a true statement. It's scrutinized different.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: And I think it's just open to more criticized criticism
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: because what people now, like Dr Phield told me, everybody
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: looking for a reason to get they feel it's hurt.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: So now anything you do you have to be politically correct,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: and that ain't commedy no more because now no matter
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: what you say, all somebody gotta do is say you
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: hurt their feelings and your ass is in trouble. So
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: what do you do to Joe about if the jokes
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: ain't about people or subject matter, or politics, or religion
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: or or children? What? What? What are you? What? What
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: is the joke's gonna be about? I'll tell you what's crazy.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: I put on my Instagram and inspiration of a drawing
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: of a big wolf and a small wolf getting shot at,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: you know, bowing arrows in their back, and encouragement to
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: people to show people how they grow and strength. You
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: know what I got? Why are you hurting animals? Then
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: somebody told me a wolf? A wolf is the sign
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: for loopus? What what? What do I have to do? No? Seriously,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: And I'm sitting wait a minute, So now, somebody, how
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: could you a wolf is designed for loopas? How would
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: I know that? How would I know that? And it's
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: a drawing. I didn't shoot a wolf and then take
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: a picture or kill a baby wolf. And two it's
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: an artwork. It was to show you how to survive
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: as you get older. And man, they took me apart
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: for that. So it's like, you know, but I do
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: know that the higher up you go, the more scrutiny
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: you face, Like everything I say now is criticized by
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: someone and they just do the critic and you know
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: what's hurtful. I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you what I
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: don't care for is all the work that you do
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: for people, All the work you've done, Derek, like that
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: ain't never existed. Yeah, but as you go higher, you
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: got to develop that thicker skin and you know, let
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: that stuff roll off you if you can. I know,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: you're humans, So it hurts. I get that, but you gotta,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: you know, find a way to stop caring as much
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: about you know, what people say, because as you always
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: say on this show, that's their job, the haters to hate.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: So you know, uh, you know the type of person
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: that doesn't let them do a good job. How many
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: of us, how many of us get our news from
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: the internet? So many? Do you know what a dude
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: I you know, on that same picture that I posted
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: about the wolf, guess what a dude say it on Instagram?
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: What damn bro, I heard you and your girl breaking up. Man, man,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: just pulling your coat letting you know, read the internet.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: It's on nasty man. You've been good to Huh. I
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: wanted to go Thanks I ain't no appreciate you. Not
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: on the caption about a wolf. He told me on
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: the internet me and my girl were breaking up, and
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: he was just letting me know why you need to
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: read it because it's online. Dog hanging there. Man, I
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: hoping that ain't true because you've been good to her.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I can't read that stuff. No, no, no, listen to me.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I'm not reacting to it. I'm just showing you the
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: ridiculous enough. It didn't mean nothing to me and my
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: girl up. No, but I'm just saying, this is the
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: ridiculousness of it. And people are getting that information from

- 1:29:16Speaker 1: I'm really good. I'm the show. Yeah, let's talk about it.
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: It's called Shots Fired. It's a ten hour film. Yeah,
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: so tell us about it's gonna be ten episodes. What
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: does it talked to us a little? It's ten hours
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: and it is. Um, it's so good, it's so well written. Um.
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: It basically is a misty thriller that follows my character
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: and my partner's character as we try to investigate a
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: murder of a black kid and a white kid, and
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: it kind of shows how these two murders, one being black,
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: one being white, and how they're they're treated differently by
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: the community, by the press, and by the justice system
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: and along the way. It's you know, it's kind of
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: a hoot done it and a wide done and it's
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: you know, it's juicy. There's so many great performances. Um,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: we have a season cast. Um Stefan James plays my
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: my partner, Mac Wild plays police officer Helen Hunt. Rickard's prices. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: we have. It's it's it's exciting and it's and it's
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: really fun. You know, there's there's UM. There's moments where
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: you're gonna be crying, and it's gonna be chilling at
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: at how much of a reflection it is of what's
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: going on in today's UM news. But at the same time,
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: it's really entertaining, So I'm excited for people to tune in.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: The great thing about this series is that it gives
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: a perspective from every seat at the table. You have
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: ten hours, so it's like, you know, you get to see,
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: you know, the mother who's grieving, You get to see
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: the criminal justice system from their thought. You get to
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: see what happens when that cop who shot the kids
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: goes home. So it's really great creating empathy and compassion UM.
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: While we were shooting UM, there were so many times.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: There was one one morning we came into work and
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: Falando test Field had just gotten shot the night before,
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: and our our first a d who runs who runs everything,
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: was a black woman and she could not she could
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: not believe it because it was July and it was
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: a record number of murders of black men and we've
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: basically had. Just before we started our day, we did
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: a prayer circle and really asked for grace and asked
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: for um, you know, just guidance, so because he knew
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: what a big responsibility this is. And um, it was
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: chilling how many murders were happening at the time that
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: we were working on this. So um we took our
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: job seriously. And I just hope that people, you know,
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: I hope people get together. I hope they argue. I
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: hope they debate, but mostly I just hope there's conversations.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: We need to come together as people, right and it
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: will be and it and it does take just that conversation.
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: It sounds like a great project. So now, congratulations again,
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: I think this would be amazing. Now listen up, listeners,
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: just what we want to do. We're gonna get behind
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: this thing. Okay for blast. So now Lathan, we love you, girl, cool,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: thank you, congratulations, thank you. All right, y'all, don't forget
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: tonight on Fox eight seven Central Shots five. So now
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: later it comes on tonight, y'all, y'all. A great day
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: to day, all right, it was fun. It was a
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: lot of fun today. I feel really really good about today. Yeah,

- 1:32:40Speaker 1: got some things off our chest Tom and found out
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: what it's like to get hated on. I've been knowing.
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: What what did we get hated on? Yeah? Yeah, oh no,
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: I'm talking about on big level. Well, I mean any
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: level of hate. Yeah. You don't think we could hate
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: it on? We could hate it on to women, females, yeah,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: other females women. Yeah. All right, then praise the Lord, Hallelujah. Amen,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: let's go, Steve. Yeah, and it's still alright. God is
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: good all the time. It's Wednesday, Steve, don't deal with
