- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and its not true good together to please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join Jo. You gotta turn you, you gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out. Turn You haven't got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn out to turn turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your thing. Uh huh, I show will
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now one it only Steve Harvest. Oh Man
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man got a radio show, and
- 2:14Speaker 1: a whole lot more to man. God is good to me.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I have no other explanation, if I have no other
- 2:20Speaker 1: explanation of my existence and where I stand in this
- 2:24Speaker 1: thing called life, except if it was not for the
- 2:27Speaker 1: goodness of God Almighty. If it was not for His
- 2:31Speaker 1: grace and his mercy, There's no way I could exist
- 2:35Speaker 1: the way that I do. I would not be who
- 2:38Speaker 1: I am or where I am. I am who I
- 2:40Speaker 1: am and where I am simply because God is who
- 2:46Speaker 1: he is. If it was not for God, I would
- 2:50Speaker 1: have no testimony for you, because I would have failed
- 2:54Speaker 1: every single test, plain, pure and simple. I can sit
- 2:59Speaker 1: here today until you flat out that it is purely
- 3:05Speaker 1: because of God's grace and mercy that I exist today
- 3:09Speaker 1: because of His favor. See now He shows us favor
- 3:13Speaker 1: in life because of a combination of things I've discovered.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And this is not the whole answer to life, I
- 3:22Speaker 1: can assure you as not. But this is a combination
- 3:25Speaker 1: that I've grown to understand better and better, and I
- 3:28Speaker 1: wish I had gotten it earlier in my life. But
- 3:32Speaker 1: here it is. If you take faith and you combine
- 3:39Speaker 1: it with an incredible work ethic, then God has the
- 3:48Speaker 1: greatest opportunities to show you favor. That's the best way
- 3:55Speaker 1: I can explain success to you from my standpoint. It
- 3:59Speaker 1: is the combination of faith and work that produces the
- 4:05Speaker 1: most opportunities for God to show you favor. See a
- 4:09Speaker 1: lot of times we want God to bless us, but
- 4:11Speaker 1: we ain't doing nothing for him to bless So now
- 4:15Speaker 1: we sideways in the equation a little bit. But see,
- 4:18Speaker 1: if you had the faith in God that God can
- 4:22Speaker 1: do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
- 4:26Speaker 1: that God will see you through, that that God is
- 4:29Speaker 1: the God you serve as the greatest gift of all
- 4:32Speaker 1: good things. If you kept that faith intact, through it all,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and you produced an incredible work ethic that allows the
- 4:42Speaker 1: most opportunities for God to show you favor. See without
- 4:48Speaker 1: that what you want God to do? See, you can
- 4:51Speaker 1: have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
- 4:55Speaker 1: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
- 5:00Speaker 1: your favor. And you got to do some things man,
- 5:04Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing or don't feel like doing,
- 5:09Speaker 1: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
- 5:11Speaker 1: front of your face, with the faith that it will
- 5:14Speaker 1: payoff later on. See, too many people are working for
- 5:18Speaker 1: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
- 5:22Speaker 1: not how it works. Sometimes the reward is coming later
- 5:25Speaker 1: on up the road. But the only way you can
- 5:28Speaker 1: know that is if you got to You got to
- 5:30Speaker 1: apply the faith and see the reason. You don't know
- 5:34Speaker 1: that that's coming like that, or you have to have
- 5:37Speaker 1: faith to believe that it is coming. Because faith is
- 5:41Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. That's what
- 5:46Speaker 1: faith is. You know, you're standing at let me give
- 5:49Speaker 1: you them. You're standing at the cross walk with a
- 5:51Speaker 1: walk sign on it and the sign flashing on the corner.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Don't walk then that the signs say walk? What do
- 6:01Speaker 1: you think your chances are making it across that street?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Is well, pretty good because guess what the signs say, walk.
- 6:08Speaker 1: You can see the other side. There's other people in
- 6:11Speaker 1: the cross walk walking, So guess what you strike out blindly?
- 6:15Speaker 1: It don't take a lot of faith to get across
- 6:18Speaker 1: that street. That's that's That's not why I'm talking to
- 6:22Speaker 1: you about. I'm talking about the faith, the belief in
- 6:25Speaker 1: things that you cannot see, the faith that what I'm
- 6:29Speaker 1: doing today, I believe in my heart of heart that
- 6:34Speaker 1: God wouldn't bring me this far to leave me. That
- 6:37Speaker 1: God is a true and living God, that he keeps
- 6:39Speaker 1: his promises, that later on, there's things that I'm working
- 6:42Speaker 1: towards right now gonna pay off later on. See, too
- 6:45Speaker 1: many people want to reward right now. See, that's not
- 6:49Speaker 1: the exhibition of faith. If it's the right thing to do,
- 6:54Speaker 1: if it's if it's a good thing to do, if
- 6:56Speaker 1: it's a just thing to do. See, if it's seeing
- 7:00Speaker 1: in it it ain't God. You can just clear it
- 7:02Speaker 1: on up right there. You can stop all the wandering.
- 7:05Speaker 1: If that's His voice talking to you, if it's the
- 7:08Speaker 1: right thing to do, if it's sin in it, it's
- 7:11Speaker 1: not God talking to you. Kill it. You you can
- 7:16Speaker 1: shut it down. You ain't got to wonder about it.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Go down there in secret venge. That ain't God. Go
- 7:21Speaker 1: tell him off when you see him. That ain't God. Anything.
- 7:24Speaker 1: That's God's sin in it is not God's voice telling
- 7:27Speaker 1: you to do it. So you can. You can kill
- 7:29Speaker 1: that conversation to date. That's how you know. But if
- 7:32Speaker 1: you align yourself up man and you and what you're
- 7:35Speaker 1: doing is just and right and correct and pleasing in
- 7:38Speaker 1: the sight of God, it'll pay off for you later on.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And see here's here's here's the best way I can
- 7:47Speaker 1: tell to it. Here's another one. When you're going somewhere,
- 7:52Speaker 1: when you're when you're on the road to going somewhere,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and you know the somewhere that you're trying to get to.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Let's say you've set a goal of vision for yourself,
- 8:00Speaker 1: you know where you want to get to, You got
- 8:03Speaker 1: a good idea, and you own your way to going there.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Listen to me when it gets hard, and it is
- 8:10Speaker 1: going to get hard, when it gets difficult, and it
- 8:14Speaker 1: is going to get difficult, when it becomes challenging, and
- 8:17Speaker 1: it is going to become challenging when it becomes all
- 8:21Speaker 1: three of those things, when it don't look like it's
- 8:23Speaker 1: gonna happen, don't stop and complain so much. But see,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I know he didn't bless me. But in the middle
- 8:31Speaker 1: of it, man, I felt a little heavy. And you
- 8:34Speaker 1: got to be careful when it gets hard for you,
- 8:36Speaker 1: because you'll find yourself complaining. And when you're complaining. See,
- 8:41Speaker 1: what you can't do is you can't complain so much
- 8:44Speaker 1: that you forget that the place that you're trying to
- 8:48Speaker 1: go to, you actually own your way there still. See,
- 8:53Speaker 1: don't get caught up into complaining and then lose sight
- 8:56Speaker 1: of your blessing that's actually happening. It to you, what
- 8:59Speaker 1: real man of all the times to register a complaint
- 9:03Speaker 1: to God to sit up and go, hey, man, I
- 9:06Speaker 1: didn't want to wanted to ease back into this thing.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Ease back in, man, you in It's it's a tornado
- 9:12Speaker 1: world around you. You You ain't got time to ease back in.
- 9:15Speaker 1: You got it going and jump back in it. It
- 9:17Speaker 1: is what it is to whom much is given, much
- 9:20Speaker 1: is required. Always appreciate the blessings. Don't get so caught
- 9:24Speaker 1: up into complaints that you lose sight of the blessings. Man,
- 9:26Speaker 1: God got a lot for you in your life. Man,
- 9:29Speaker 1: but you gotta have them two things, y'all. You gotta
- 9:31Speaker 1: take that faith and you got to apply a crazy
- 9:35Speaker 1: work ethic to it. And that creates the most opportunities
- 9:40Speaker 1: for God to show your favor. And when God starts
- 9:42Speaker 1: showing your favor, man, all of them seeds you plant,
- 9:46Speaker 1: all of that, all of that wheat you've been sewing,
- 9:49Speaker 1: all of that hard work you've been put in God
- 9:51Speaker 1: to pay it off, and he'll pay it off in
- 9:54Speaker 1: ways that you don't even see coming. Okay, cool, you're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening to show. Ladies, gentlemen, welcome to the Steve Harvey
- 10:08Speaker 1: Morning Show, reminding you to get your tuned up. Start
- 10:16Speaker 1: your day with gratitude. Tell him how much you appreciate
- 10:19Speaker 1: all he's done. Thank him when it's going right for you,
- 10:23Speaker 1: thank him when it's going not so right. That will
- 10:26Speaker 1: in turn change your attitude, which will then allow you
- 10:30Speaker 1: to understand that no matter what is going on, it's
- 10:33Speaker 1: still a blessing that it is going on. And once
- 10:37Speaker 1: you've made that adjustment, you're outitude. It's tied to that
- 10:43Speaker 1: and the sky is the limit. That's what happens when
- 10:47Speaker 1: you get your two together. Steve Harvey Morning Show starring
- 10:50Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry calling for real the Mouth of the South,
- 10:54Speaker 1: Monica Junior. Yeah, that's a better man. You know you
- 10:57Speaker 1: want to say kill space, but if you see that
- 10:59Speaker 1: on sign, it might throw you. Ladies and gentlemen, Me junior,
- 11:04Speaker 1: what's on your mind? Man? Let me let me just
- 11:07Speaker 1: signed up at your bathing routine. I swear to God,
- 11:11Speaker 1: I people need to notice that you have a yeah,
- 11:15Speaker 1: because the way I just find out about stuff. I
- 11:18Speaker 1: just want to know, when did you come to this
- 11:19Speaker 1: conclusion that you can't use the little towns well? I mean,
- 11:23Speaker 1: you know, you gotta understand, as a big man, how
- 11:26Speaker 1: to bathe properly. A lot of people never take some time.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I learned this from my daddy. My daddy used to
- 11:33Speaker 1: take his baths with a hand tie. Not a washcloth,
- 11:38Speaker 1: but a hand tie. The one is slightly longer. Yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 1: a little water, but definitely not a washcloth, because my
- 11:44Speaker 1: daddy saying how he gonna wash his back. Now, I
- 11:48Speaker 1: realized this as a young man, and when a young man,
- 11:51Speaker 1: when I was a little boy, I didn't care how
- 11:53Speaker 1: I washed my back because I didn't really care about
- 11:55Speaker 1: washing at all, so why would I want to get
- 11:59Speaker 1: my back? And when clearly came, nobody to sea back there.
- 12:02Speaker 1: So I don't even know why we got to wear
- 12:04Speaker 1: about the bath playing on my back. So as a
- 12:08Speaker 1: little boy, I didn't see it. But as I grew older,
- 12:11Speaker 1: I started to learn, and so I started taking baths
- 12:15Speaker 1: with a hand tie like my daddy and my shower,
- 12:18Speaker 1: and that's what I used to this day. Well, I
- 12:21Speaker 1: went down to my ranch and my assistant, Megan Ball
- 12:26Speaker 1: cows for the rent. It did not buy any hand toe,
- 12:30Speaker 1: and I was forced to, after all these years, use
- 12:34Speaker 1: a regular washcloth. Now, when you haven't used a washcloth,
- 12:39Speaker 1: a regular washcloth is very small to you. And as
- 12:43Speaker 1: I was using it, I didn't realize how small it was.
- 12:48Speaker 1: And I was showering, I was soaping up, and I
- 12:50Speaker 1: was just using You gotta almost use it with just
- 12:52Speaker 1: two fingers, you know, you learn next fringing the finger
- 12:55Speaker 1: next to you got to go into circling motions like
- 12:58Speaker 1: you're putting much in some massage on your face. And
- 13:00Speaker 1: I messed. Ronde was washing my butt and I all
- 13:03Speaker 1: of a sudden, I just lost the washcloth. Were just
- 13:06Speaker 1: going I ain't have it no more, and I went, oh,
- 13:09Speaker 1: lor Jan, what wahof back? And so what I rushed off?
- 13:13Speaker 1: I found it and that's that's a very dangerous thing.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I found what. I'm all right, thank you for that,
- 13:19Speaker 1: I think, all right? Than the lady found it, cousin
- 13:25Speaker 1: the next day that the drive up sat well, burning
- 13:30Speaker 1: lady done the show, youth washcloth, mister Hantou. All right, um,
- 13:35Speaker 1: coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:38Speaker 1: run that prank back with Junior in for the nephew.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:46Speaker 1: All right, guys, it's time to start your morning off
- 13:48Speaker 1: with run that prank back with Junior in for the nephew.
- 13:52Speaker 1: What you got Junior? All right, Shirley, here it is.
- 13:55Speaker 1: This is one of my favorites. Bottom of up here
- 13:58Speaker 1: met running yeah you hello, hello, hello, hello? Yeah? Can
- 14:13Speaker 1: you hear me? I'm trying to reach Angela angewitter? Hi,
- 14:16Speaker 1: just the second, let me count it down. Okay, Hi,
- 14:21Speaker 1: how are you trying to reach I'm trying to reach Angela.
- 14:23Speaker 1: This is Angela. Oh yeah, this see hi Angela. This
- 14:26Speaker 1: is Chip Chip. I'm the new camp director for the
- 14:29Speaker 1: cheerleading camp for the summer. Oh, hi, Chip, what can
- 14:32Speaker 1: I do for you? I just wanted to give you
- 14:33Speaker 1: a courtesy call. Your daughter. You've got her signed up
- 14:36Speaker 1: for four weeks with the camp, right, Yeah, for Joey.
- 14:40Speaker 1: This is your guys, third year being a part of
- 14:42Speaker 1: the camp. Yep, And she's really excited. She loved coming
- 14:45Speaker 1: to the camp and we think it's a great thing
- 14:48Speaker 1: for her to be involved in. What's up? Okay, you
- 14:50Speaker 1: guys just finished the whole cheerleading season two, am I right?
- 14:53Speaker 1: The competition season? Yes, that's coming off of that, right right? Okay, Well,
- 14:57Speaker 1: we're getting ready for the summer and you know what,
- 14:59Speaker 1: everybody's excit about coming out and being a part of
- 15:01Speaker 1: what's going on. So here's what I wanted to give
- 15:03Speaker 1: you a little bit. Like I said, I'm the new
- 15:05Speaker 1: camp director. I was just starting at this job. I
- 15:09Speaker 1: got a few notes that that we're given to me
- 15:12Speaker 1: about about, so I wanted to give you a call
- 15:15Speaker 1: and see if I could talk to you about it.
- 15:17Speaker 1: A few notes giving to you about Yeah, just a
- 15:19Speaker 1: couple of notes. I don't think it's anything that we
- 15:21Speaker 1: can make sure it's Okay, what kind of note. Well,
- 15:24Speaker 1: it's been brought from my attention that some of the
- 15:26Speaker 1: parents whose daughters are out there as well, there's gonna
- 15:28Speaker 1: be there this summer a little concerned about her being
- 15:32Speaker 1: on top of the pyramid, that she's uh is getting
- 15:37Speaker 1: a little heavy, should she uh wait wait wait wait
- 15:40Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait wait wait ho ho ho you
- 15:42Speaker 1: calling me about some some other parents and saying about
- 15:47Speaker 1: how big my child is or how much my child. Ways,
- 15:52Speaker 1: what I wanted to let you know was we're gonna
- 15:54Speaker 1: put as a base. Oh no, you ain't gonna put
- 15:59Speaker 1: it no base. I don't already pay my money. And
- 16:02Speaker 1: what you say your name is Chip? And um, how
- 16:05Speaker 1: long have you been the director? Because I was just
- 16:06Speaker 1: up there two weeks ago and they told me that
- 16:09Speaker 1: she was gonna be the same position that she was
- 16:12Speaker 1: last year, because that is what worked, that's the formation
- 16:15Speaker 1: that worked. So I don't even know what the world
- 16:17Speaker 1: Supposedly that some of the girls are complaining that she's
- 16:20Speaker 1: too heavy to hold up. So that's what it seems
- 16:22Speaker 1: to be the problem in there. They're not getting a
- 16:24Speaker 1: strong enough pier men. And I'm now wait a minute, wait,
- 16:27Speaker 1: wait a minute, I know well, she ain't the biggest one.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I felt, have you been myself? My child is not
- 16:33Speaker 1: the biggest child. I fell women because I honestly, you
- 16:36Speaker 1: have not seen these chiples and if some baby solmost
- 16:38Speaker 1: I felt, Okay, hang on, sad, angel I want you
- 16:41Speaker 1: to calm down a bit now. Ain't nobody gonna calm
- 16:43Speaker 1: down because I have not already paid my money and
- 16:45Speaker 1: that i'd be talking about what parents? What Harrison said? Something?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Is it? Uh? Is it Carrie Man? I'm not. I'm
- 16:52Speaker 1: not gonna state who it is, but let's just say
- 16:53Speaker 1: it was several Terris has got something to say about
- 16:58Speaker 1: my child and her position on the don't leaning squad,
- 17:00Speaker 1: Because if you ain't seen the fuck up no names,
- 17:02Speaker 1: then I'm gonna listen what you're calling me about. I'll
- 17:05Speaker 1: tell you one thing. When she get out there, I
- 17:07Speaker 1: didn't pay my money, she'd better not be on no face.
- 17:10Speaker 1: She better be in the hour. I guarantee you that, right, Nah,
- 17:13Speaker 1: I'd have been hanging with these See nobody said nothing
- 17:17Speaker 1: to me about and her way and all this. Okay, Angela,
- 17:20Speaker 1: can you hear me? I just wanted you to hear me. Clearly,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I haven't seen these young ladies. Yet once I see them,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I will critique what I think. Then you don't even
- 17:28Speaker 1: need to be calling me because you ain't even seen nothing.
- 17:30Speaker 1: So you're calling me with some he says, she's come
- 17:33Speaker 1: some other parents that's been skinny and grinned in my face,
- 17:35Speaker 1: and they now wanted to send nothing to me. They've
- 17:38Speaker 1: been in my house. We didn't have parties always here
- 17:40Speaker 1: with the competition every weekend, every other day, and they
- 17:43Speaker 1: couldn't say nothing to me about my baby. I tell
- 17:46Speaker 1: you what, why don't you call your girls on the
- 17:48Speaker 1: three way? Miss the Chip? If you can't call him
- 17:51Speaker 1: on the three now I got them, nor I call
- 17:53Speaker 1: him on the three way. Okay, okay man. All I
- 17:57Speaker 1: wanted to do is make you aware of the possibility. Yea,
- 18:00Speaker 1: she may be. Thank you you have made me aware.
- 18:03Speaker 1: And I guarantee you that if I bring my big
- 18:05Speaker 1: yell U up there and come to the practice, I
- 18:07Speaker 1: guarantee you she won't being a face. How much you
- 18:09Speaker 1: want to bet on that, mister Chip, Look, you're gonna
- 18:11Speaker 1: quit holler. I mean, I told you I would try
- 18:14Speaker 1: to take a look at these girls. But I tell
- 18:15Speaker 1: you what your thought is gonna be a face or
- 18:18Speaker 1: she's gonna be a back support, whichever I decide. She's
- 18:20Speaker 1: started to do who enough? Do you think you're holling that,
- 18:24Speaker 1: mister chill. No, that's not how it's gonna go down,
- 18:29Speaker 1: as a matter of fact. As a matter fact, mister Chip,
- 18:31Speaker 1: are you at the registration table today? I'm here now
- 18:34Speaker 1: while people are registering you. Sorry that materning around. I'll
- 18:37Speaker 1: tell you what. I'm on my way up there. Why
- 18:40Speaker 1: don't you and the parents has been complaining? Why don't
- 18:43Speaker 1: all y'all come to the table and we don't have
- 18:45Speaker 1: come to Jesus meeting about whether it's gonna be for
- 18:48Speaker 1: this coming up season, because I'm not going to tolerate this.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I've been told you, I haven't paid my money and
- 18:54Speaker 1: this high is going down. What is it that you
- 18:57Speaker 1: wa game? Wait or not? What's the gay I have
- 19:00Speaker 1: to do with her Chip meeting Dode? You agree that
- 19:03Speaker 1: probably bigger than most of the girls on the teams.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Not bigger than most of the girls on the team.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Un daughter, it's visiting and she wasn't no base last
- 19:12Speaker 1: ship they hiked up up from me. You don't get
- 19:14Speaker 1: up to we all just gonna be bigging from up
- 19:17Speaker 1: in the air. Hon turn the round, and I'm here
- 19:19Speaker 1: to tell you the table, so you just be with it.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Be before you get here. There's something else I need
- 19:25Speaker 1: to tell you. You ain't gonna tell me something. All
- 19:27Speaker 1: you gotta do is men, have you and the stairs
- 19:29Speaker 1: around that table when I get there, because I'm on
- 19:32Speaker 1: my way up there right now. Then y'all can say
- 19:34Speaker 1: all y'all gotta say in my face, well before you
- 19:37Speaker 1: get it. I just want to let you know, man,
- 19:40Speaker 1: what this is nephew tim from this team who stays
- 19:44Speaker 1: on this phone. Wait wait were women? Hollo hollo ho?
- 19:48Speaker 1: What did you just say? This is a nephew timing
- 19:51Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning shown. Be god, Oh lord, Rochelle,
- 20:03Speaker 1: there's another pair named Rochelle. She thought for y'all are
- 20:05Speaker 1: good friends out there? Oh? She got so? She want
- 20:08Speaker 1: to prank out. All right, we're gonna see the season start.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Start the uniform. She'll be able to perform. Be looking
- 20:15Speaker 1: for hers. How about I want to break out me?
- 20:18Speaker 1: Oh man, hey, let me ask some baby. What is
- 20:20Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 20:23Speaker 1: the lad love other than the Mates Show? See yeah,
- 20:34Speaker 1: all cheer mom, shout out, cheer mom sees coming out
- 20:39Speaker 1: not having this. Thank you Junior. Coming up next, it
- 20:45Speaker 1: is asked the CLO with Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey,
- 20:48Speaker 1: ready for your love questions. Right after this, you're listening
- 20:53Speaker 1: morning show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 20:56Speaker 1: And entertainment news Kendrick Lamar and Florida A and M
- 21:00Speaker 1: University marching band performances were incredible at the Louis Vatan
- 21:05Speaker 1: show Men Spring Summer twenty twenty three fashion show. Of course,
- 21:08Speaker 1: this went down in Paris and in other entertainment news.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, all, this is so wonderful, Steve, you wrote
- 21:17Speaker 1: an open love letter to Marjorie to celebrate your fifteenth
- 21:21Speaker 1: wedding anniversary. We'll talk about that a little bit. Plus
- 21:24Speaker 1: Lizzo donates a million dollars to Planned Parenthood. We'll talk
- 21:28Speaker 1: about all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 21:31Speaker 1: but right now it is time to ask the CLO.
- 21:35Speaker 1: CLO stand sport chief Love Officer, and that is Steve Harvey.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Katie and Camden says, I've kept a big secret from
- 21:44Speaker 1: my husband, and his mother found out my secret. She
- 21:47Speaker 1: asked if it was true and I lied to her.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I know I've got to be honest with my husband soon.
- 21:52Speaker 1: But do I owe my mother in law an explanation
- 21:55Speaker 1: or excuse for lying to her? Must be quite a secret.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I kept to hear it, but I gonna do. I say,
- 22:04Speaker 1: ride it out. You lied to your mother in law,
- 22:08Speaker 1: which is allowable. It ain't her business she was dipping.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I don't know how your mother in law heard it,
- 22:16Speaker 1: and your husband ain't. Lets me know that your mother
- 22:21Speaker 1: in law don't really care for you. Yeah, she has
- 22:28Speaker 1: been researching dirt on you, trying to find out something,
- 22:32Speaker 1: so you lied about it. Um, it's a big secret.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. Your head? What do
- 22:39Speaker 1: you think though? It's a man somewhere? Something she did
- 22:43Speaker 1: with a man used to date. Can't hide a baby
- 22:48Speaker 1: unless can't hide the baby, that's horrible if you've hit,
- 22:53Speaker 1: If you're hiding a child, that's a deal breaker. That's
- 22:57Speaker 1: gonna be something hurtful. The man's ego is gonna be
- 23:01Speaker 1: in a way if it's a man. No, I don't look.
- 23:04Speaker 1: If you bought something and your mother in law found
- 23:08Speaker 1: out about it, then you bought something. Brother going in
- 23:12Speaker 1: there and tell your husband that before he finds out.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Remember the golden rule that Marjorie has talked to me.
- 23:19Speaker 1: It is better to ask for forgiveness than to ask
- 23:22Speaker 1: for permission. Every time she buys something, I questioned it.
- 23:29Speaker 1: That's what I'm sorry. I'm sorry, and then what I'm
- 23:33Speaker 1: gonna do? No, I don't forgive you. I hate your forever.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I think that's my option. No, I don't think so.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Do we ever go back to the stove? Do we
- 23:43Speaker 1: ever go back to the stove? Oh? No, No, Junior Ji,
- 23:50Speaker 1: you get a relationship to get trying to get to
- 23:51Speaker 1: the bake stuff back. Don't do that all. Moving on
- 23:57Speaker 1: to Corey and Texas, Corey writes, I'm going through divorce
- 24:00Speaker 1: and my husband wants to take away the two labordoodles
- 24:03Speaker 1: he gave me for our anniversary. I took care of
- 24:06Speaker 1: the dogs twenty four seven by myself, but now he
- 24:10Speaker 1: wants to be evil? How can I stop him from
- 24:12Speaker 1: taking my furry soul mates? And she calls you, judge,
- 24:15Speaker 1: Steve simple, All you gotta do is want something that
- 24:21Speaker 1: matter with him, because you trust me. He don't give
- 24:23Speaker 1: damn about them dogs. I know two damn labadoodle. I
- 24:27Speaker 1: don't even know what they are, but they sound like
- 24:29Speaker 1: some two little nothing ass dogs labor or whatever, labor doodle,
- 24:35Speaker 1: cocka doodle, you know whatever, the same damn thing. Give
- 24:40Speaker 1: damn about them dogs. Man, I'm trying to hold on
- 24:43Speaker 1: some of these assets. I'm trying to hold on to
- 24:45Speaker 1: this house lab old one, Kate, That's what I'll be
- 24:51Speaker 1: trying to hold on too. I don't give it, damn
- 24:53Speaker 1: you come get the dogs. You can come get the crackers.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Whatever cocka dood to do is. I don't know what
- 25:00Speaker 1: they are, but damn them dogs. Now. The way you
- 25:03Speaker 1: do that is, oh, it's it's a cocker spranion mix
- 25:06Speaker 1: with a poodle. It's what I love. Who kills the lady.
- 25:15Speaker 1: All you got to do is take something back that
- 25:19Speaker 1: he wants deally, okay, else, you've already cleaned him out.
- 25:23Speaker 1: See now remember this. Now, if you cleaned his clock
- 25:26Speaker 1: with the assets and the money, he gonna try to
- 25:29Speaker 1: hurt you with them dogs. But all you got to do,
- 25:34Speaker 1: all you got to do is say, I don't want
- 25:36Speaker 1: them dogs. Ain't gonna take care of them dogs, Steve.
- 25:39Speaker 1: These are her furry soul mates. They're they're more than dogs. Okay,
- 25:44Speaker 1: listen to them. Now, for the pet lovers out there,
- 25:48Speaker 1: you know that's a part of the family. Those are
- 25:52Speaker 1: her Murray babies. Okay, Well, if you think them dogs
- 25:58Speaker 1: is your soul man, you know I gonna see him
- 26:02Speaker 1: in heaven. Just they got their own. They got their
- 26:07Speaker 1: own little heaven. It ain't the one you ask. So
- 26:10Speaker 1: you got to worry about that. They don't produce any income,
- 26:14Speaker 1: so I don't. This is about well, you know, once
- 26:20Speaker 1: I know you don't fit an assaid column, I just
- 26:22Speaker 1: start to knot too much eliminating. You know you ain't
- 26:25Speaker 1: my kids, so you know, but your solution is for
- 26:28Speaker 1: her to take something of his unless she's taken everything. Well,
- 26:32Speaker 1: if you've taken everything, that's why you want them dogs.
- 26:34Speaker 1: You've hurt him, So don't play the one side of
- 26:36Speaker 1: the story. This divorce got a little ugly. You took
- 26:39Speaker 1: some stuff from him, like his car, you know, his
- 26:42Speaker 1: little brill, you know his little pad that he had,
- 26:45Speaker 1: little he had a couple of things. You don't took
- 26:47Speaker 1: from him. So n he didn't take the dog. That's
- 26:50Speaker 1: what divorce is. Divorce is losing stuff. You're talking to
- 26:53Speaker 1: the wrong person. I lost everything, so I wish it
- 26:59Speaker 1: was to some dogs with me. I don't think he
- 27:03Speaker 1: wants to divorce, all right, Sylvia and Washington says my
- 27:07Speaker 1: husband's boss. My husband's boss had surgery, so I sent
- 27:11Speaker 1: her a big bouquet of flowers from us. She sent
- 27:14Speaker 1: a group text to thank us. My husband replied, anything
- 27:18Speaker 1: for my girl. Then his phone rang and I overheard
- 27:22Speaker 1: him say he didn't know. He replied to the group
- 27:25Speaker 1: was it supposed to be a private text to her?
- 27:28Speaker 1: He denied this up? Hell yeah, I hadn't done that before.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I didn't depend on the group tex yeah, a long
- 27:34Speaker 1: time ago, when I didn't know group text was yeah.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I typed the message to the dude that sent it
- 27:39Speaker 1: to me. I didn't know it went to the whole group.
- 27:42Speaker 1: She did that, He's stupid. Anything from my girl? Then
- 27:47Speaker 1: they had a private coming. Hell yeah. But then when
- 27:52Speaker 1: you bust him, all he gonna say is I just
- 27:54Speaker 1: said anything for my girl. I'm trying to cheer up
- 27:59Speaker 1: what you're tripping fault? You know you was on the text.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I said it. If you don't want me to say that,
- 28:05Speaker 1: no more, I won't damn what you're tripping fault? Man.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I would want somebody to care about you that same way.
- 28:15Speaker 1: All right, we got one last one Steve Bianca and
- 28:18Speaker 1: Montgomery says, I've been a long distance relationship for a year,
- 28:22Speaker 1: and I go visit my boyfriend a lot more than
- 28:24Speaker 1: he did. It's me. This past weekend he called to
- 28:27Speaker 1: cancel his trip to see me, and he told me
- 28:29Speaker 1: that he needs some space. The night before he was
- 28:31Speaker 1: very excited about coming. What happened to change his mind? Well,
- 28:36Speaker 1: he needs some space because that other girl, that other
- 28:42Speaker 1: girl tell me about where you keep going all these weekends.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I want to do something on the weekend instead of
- 28:47Speaker 1: the week How came we never together on the week
- 28:51Speaker 1: Tell the truth? He tells you he needs some space. No, no, no,
- 28:54Speaker 1: man need no space? How you need space from sex? What?
- 28:59Speaker 1: All right? All right, here we go. Coming up at
- 29:03Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news
- 29:06Speaker 1: for you. Thank you, Cello. That's coming up right after this.
- 29:10Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Kendrick Lamar paid tribute to the
- 29:16Speaker 1: late Virgil Ablow at the Louis Viaton Men Spring Summer
- 29:20Speaker 1: twenty twenty three fashion show in Paris. He performed several songs,
- 29:24Speaker 1: including count Me Out and at the outro of Count
- 29:28Speaker 1: Me Out, Kendrick rapped long Lived Virgil. In addition, did
- 29:32Speaker 1: you all see the Florida and Am Marching one hundred
- 29:34Speaker 1: band performance? They were amazing, Yes, the whole I saw
- 29:40Speaker 1: the whole show. One good Ellie ass thought it to
- 29:45Speaker 1: Elliott was bigger here to BT award your silent. His
- 29:51Speaker 1: ass was on that tearing up. Everybody at the Louis
- 30:00Speaker 1: show had from Rose Seas because it was really big.
- 30:03Speaker 1: And he sat there and I didn't know, and he
- 30:05Speaker 1: had on a gray suit and he had on a
- 30:08Speaker 1: crown of thorns, you know, and I think it was
- 30:13Speaker 1: nail on the camel's next to him, and he wrapped.
- 30:17Speaker 1: He did his entire album, or not the whole album,
- 30:23Speaker 1: doing the show, and I didn't know what he was doing.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I didn't know who he was. And then it was
- 30:28Speaker 1: it was just kind of dope the way they did it.
- 30:31Speaker 1: And then they flew into family Band. I mean yeah,
- 30:35Speaker 1: which just proves you know how significant black people are
- 30:39Speaker 1: to culture. Culture because black people decide, young black people
- 30:46Speaker 1: decide what's hot, what's new, what's in. They control all
- 30:52Speaker 1: of that dance had fashion when young black kids decide
- 30:58Speaker 1: that were dressing up now then it's we dressing up
- 31:02Speaker 1: and a BT Awards was just another great example of it.
- 31:05Speaker 1: It's just really really good to see young people man
- 31:08Speaker 1: are really really looking at fashion. You know, you could
- 31:11Speaker 1: tell some of them first time stepping out into fashion
- 31:14Speaker 1: because they you know, now, you know, a little uncomfortable looking.
- 31:18Speaker 1: But the effort was supreme. I saw some really really
- 31:21Speaker 1: sharp cats there. The ladies were some of the ladies were.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I thought LaToya Luckett was super fly. She always is,
- 31:32Speaker 1: she always is with her look. Was very very classy,
- 31:36Speaker 1: but yet fly um for me, you know, I didn't
- 31:42Speaker 1: some of the some of the women a little bit
- 31:45Speaker 1: too much, going too far. Yeah, you know it's too far.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I mean, if you find you find let it be
- 31:51Speaker 1: you all your breasts out with some pastes for what
- 31:56Speaker 1: for what? I mean, that's for what? And award show
- 31:59Speaker 1: you gotta go sit up somewhere in an auditorium for what.
- 32:04Speaker 1: I mean. You know, you don't have to show at all,
- 32:06Speaker 1: you just don't. And that ain't me being old, that's
- 32:09Speaker 1: for me being just a man. I've been this way
- 32:11Speaker 1: my whole life. I don't like the seals. Yeah, I
- 32:15Speaker 1: don't like to see women show everything I want to
- 32:18Speaker 1: see everything as a man and as a young man,
- 32:22Speaker 1: but I don't want to see it out here with
- 32:25Speaker 1: and everybody else see yeah you know, yeah yeah yeah. Well, um,
- 32:31Speaker 1: moving on, Steve, Um, we got to talk about this.
- 32:34Speaker 1: She wrote this heartfelt, open love letter to Marjorie for
- 32:38Speaker 1: your fifteenth anniversary. You titled it you Changed My Life.
- 32:42Speaker 1: That was published in the July August issue of Good
- 32:45Speaker 1: Housekeeping magazine. And your anniversary was this past Saturday, like
- 32:49Speaker 1: I said, it was the fifteenth, And UH, tell us
- 32:52Speaker 1: about it, Steve, I mean, how romantic you know my anniversaries.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And it was saying my anniversary is on the twenty
- 33:02Speaker 1: fourth o June twenty four and it's what's a Friday?
- 33:07Speaker 1: And I wasn't here and was asked per my request,
- 33:13Speaker 1: and uh, we had done it in an article. So
- 33:17Speaker 1: I don't really remember all of it, not at all. Uh.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I was reading some of it, Steve, and it said
- 33:24Speaker 1: that you wrote it in between tapings of celebrity family
- 33:27Speaker 1: feud and collected on the time that you guys spend together.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Do you remember that? Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 33:37Speaker 1: How did What was Marjorie's reaction? That's what I want
- 33:41Speaker 1: to hear. I mean, you know, I don't. I don't
- 33:44Speaker 1: even know that she's seen it. Really what you're talking about,
- 33:49Speaker 1: I'm talking about the I'm talking about the article. She
- 33:52Speaker 1: gets everything I give her. Okay, so you wrote the letter,
- 33:56Speaker 1: but you mean the published article part Oh yeah, yeah,
- 33:58Speaker 1: because what I wrote to her slightly different from most
- 34:02Speaker 1: end the article. The article. I wouldn't give them everything
- 34:07Speaker 1: I said to her, you know, yeah, yeah, because there's
- 34:11Speaker 1: really some personal stuff in that. Because this woman has
- 34:14Speaker 1: really she changed my life. And I've never met a
- 34:17Speaker 1: person who was willing to stand in the trenches with
- 34:22Speaker 1: me no matter what. And I've had some really really
- 34:28Speaker 1: vile things said about me and directed towards me that
- 34:33Speaker 1: we're not true, but the public excuse me, but the
- 34:36Speaker 1: public was running with it like it was true. And
- 34:39Speaker 1: to have a woman stand by you and just stand
- 34:42Speaker 1: with you and go, look, I know who you are,
- 34:45Speaker 1: I know this about you, and I know the person
- 34:48Speaker 1: that they don't know, and Steve will just get through
- 34:51Speaker 1: this and staying there with me. That's just a phenomenal thing,
- 34:54Speaker 1: you know, I tell me And all the time, me
- 34:56Speaker 1: and you can experience success. Are there a lot of
- 34:59Speaker 1: success sucessful me and out there. But if you if
- 35:01Speaker 1: you want to tap into your greatness, you're gonna have
- 35:04Speaker 1: to get a woman to help you. And you cannot
- 35:07Speaker 1: become great without him. I just don't know. I don't
- 35:10Speaker 1: I don't know the guy that's great. Without her, you
- 35:12Speaker 1: could be successful now, yeah, you know. I told that
- 35:16Speaker 1: to Charlemagne, the bishop Bishop Jake's party. I said, I
- 35:19Speaker 1: see what's happening now, I said Charlemagne. I said, you know,
- 35:23Speaker 1: your success is in you. I see it. But his
- 35:26Speaker 1: wife was standing next to him. I said, but there's
- 35:28Speaker 1: your greatness, and that girl just blinked. She said wow.
- 35:31Speaker 1: He said, you write, you write, You're right well again,
- 35:35Speaker 1: Happy anniversary fifteenth for you and Marjorie received. I wanted
- 35:39Speaker 1: to flex on my anniversary, but I didn't cause our pace,
- 35:43Speaker 1: you know, yeah, I stopped myself all right, coming up
- 35:48Speaker 1: in twenty minutes after the hour. Today it's primary election day. Okay,
- 35:53Speaker 1: you know what that means. We'll tell you where. Right
- 35:55Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to men's rights protests continued over
- 36:02Speaker 1: the weekend. Is Friday Supreme Court decision overturning Roevie Wade
- 36:06Speaker 1: and nearly two thousand states moving to ban access to abortions.
- 36:11Speaker 1: This ruling will have implications on the upcoming mint term
- 36:14Speaker 1: elections in November and today, listen up, listen carefully. Today
- 36:19Speaker 1: there are primary election and elections in the following states Illinois,
- 36:24Speaker 1: New York, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Utah. I'll say it again, Illinois,
- 36:30Speaker 1: New York, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Utah. You have to know
- 36:33Speaker 1: now more than ever, we have to fight, all right.
- 36:36Speaker 1: We are in a fight right now in Illinois, which
- 36:41Speaker 1: is a big market for Chicago, and we are on
- 36:44Speaker 1: in the big market in New York, New York. We're
- 36:47Speaker 1: in the two biggest cities in both of them states.
- 36:50Speaker 1: We control a large amount of the populace. We have
- 36:54Speaker 1: got to vote, man, because these people, if you are
- 36:58Speaker 1: not careful, this one minority, this minority wants to control
- 37:03Speaker 1: the majority in every way, Row versus Wade, voting amendments,
- 37:09Speaker 1: gun laws, everything. The old Pro Life Party is pro
- 37:15Speaker 1: life except your life. So now if you tired it is,
- 37:20Speaker 1: we're gonna have to vote. We got to vote. We
- 37:22Speaker 1: made a huge difference in the last election and that
- 37:26Speaker 1: really really pissed them off. That presidential election did not
- 37:29Speaker 1: go the way they want it. And they are angry
- 37:31Speaker 1: about it, and they've lied about it, and they've all
- 37:34Speaker 1: come up with all of these measures to avoid that
- 37:37Speaker 1: from happening again. They are selling the lie the election
- 37:40Speaker 1: was stolen. They are committed to overturning legalize and proper
- 37:46Speaker 1: elections in this country because that's all they've tried to
- 37:48Speaker 1: do since they lost. That's right, and we can no
- 37:51Speaker 1: longer afford to sit on the sidelines. Set out these
- 37:55Speaker 1: elections mid term general, all of that. Howaday ass is race?
- 38:01Speaker 1: Just tell you that way, you stand up that white
- 38:05Speaker 1: woman that won this last thank Donald Trump for overturning
- 38:11Speaker 1: roll versus way because it was a it was just
- 38:14Speaker 1: a vote for quite life victory. You know, don't try
- 38:18Speaker 1: to rephrase what she misread, and she misread nothing. Even
- 38:22Speaker 1: if I misread something when I s here come out
- 38:25Speaker 1: of my moth, I know it sounds crazy. It didn't
- 38:28Speaker 1: sound crazy to her. They committed to that man. And
- 38:30Speaker 1: it's seventy million people voted for Donald Trump. Now, not
- 38:34Speaker 1: all of those people are racist, Don't get me wrong.
- 38:36Speaker 1: That's not what I'm saying. A bunch of mens, though, yes, sir,
- 38:40Speaker 1: that white supremacy gotta tell the truth. Whole bunch. Yeah,
- 38:44Speaker 1: is because they you vote how you think, and we
- 38:49Speaker 1: have the right to vote, and our vote matters, and
- 38:53Speaker 1: we got to get these people out of office, we really,
- 38:55Speaker 1: really do. We gotta let them know. So come on Chicago, Illinois,
- 38:59Speaker 1: Knew York, New York, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Utah. All right,
- 39:05Speaker 1: get out and vote today. People coming up at thirty
- 39:08Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour of Steve. You got voicemails.
- 39:11Speaker 1: We got to check them right after this. You're listening
- 39:15Speaker 1: Stave Harvey Morning Show. It is time now to check
- 39:19Speaker 1: Steve's voicemail. If you want to leave Steve a voicemail message,
- 39:22Speaker 1: Callumn eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve. We just have
- 39:25Speaker 1: a couple of calls. So are you ready, Steve Always
- 39:28Speaker 1: here we go. Here's a caller from Chicago. Yeah, if
- 39:31Speaker 1: I have a complaint. He had a quick cutting down
- 39:34Speaker 1: herschel Walker tired time. I liked the stations. I'm a drummer,
- 39:38Speaker 1: I liked you know, music, and that was really cool.
- 39:41Speaker 1: But they had a quick cutting down herschel Walker. I mean,
- 39:44Speaker 1: the black conservative the smartest people we got going right now.
- 39:47Speaker 1: They will keep a mirror go together. People cut down
- 39:50Speaker 1: black conservatives are not right, you know liberals. Jeter Thomas
- 39:55Speaker 1: in himself, I guess I'm to stay this Cherchell Walker.
- 39:58Speaker 1: You need a base one out of one so that
- 40:00Speaker 1: all this funny liberal media craft I don't feel hon't
- 40:04Speaker 1: see's funny at all. If he's a good person, Black
- 40:07Speaker 1: conservatives are the smartest people going right now. People are
- 40:10Speaker 1: cousins becoming dollars roun herpos of rocks. Please leave that
- 40:14Speaker 1: out of the station. Yeah. I appreciate you, sir, and
- 40:17Speaker 1: you have the right to say what you want to say.
- 40:19Speaker 1: But I disagree with one major remark. Black conservatives are
- 40:23Speaker 1: not the smartest people in the world. They're not. See
- 40:26Speaker 1: when you say something like that that black conservatives are
- 40:29Speaker 1: the smartest people in the world, and then you make
- 40:32Speaker 1: an anti liberal remark, what you're saying is if you're
- 40:35Speaker 1: not a conservative and you're black, then that's you're not
- 40:39Speaker 1: as smart as herschel Walker. My problem with herschel Walker
- 40:43Speaker 1: is not that he's a black conservative. My problem with
- 40:46Speaker 1: herschel Walker is he doesn't know the issues and he
- 40:49Speaker 1: sounds idiotic. That's my problem with herschel Walker. If you're
- 40:53Speaker 1: gonna find a black person to go up against all warner,
- 40:58Speaker 1: at least find somebody that's intelligence. Why how'd you go
- 41:03Speaker 1: dig this cat up right here that don't know the issue?
- 41:07Speaker 1: That's not well spoken. And so that's the problem we have.
- 41:10Speaker 1: And as black people, we have the right to say
- 41:13Speaker 1: who we vote for and who we don't for, and
- 41:16Speaker 1: we don't leave it off the station because it is
- 41:18Speaker 1: our station obligation. See the problem with that statement serves,
- 41:22Speaker 1: But you don't understand about black people as we are
- 41:25Speaker 1: the only race of people that's responsible for the actions
- 41:28Speaker 1: of one another. White people are not responsible for each
- 41:31Speaker 1: other's action actions, and you don't get blamed for each
- 41:33Speaker 1: other's actions, but we do. We are in the minority,
- 41:37Speaker 1: and we have got to get more together being in
- 41:40Speaker 1: the minority if we want to further our causes and
- 41:43Speaker 1: our lifestyle. When a person like herschel Walker comes along
- 41:47Speaker 1: and we see him as doing the bidding of the
- 41:50Speaker 1: Conservative Party and voting against policies that go against what's
- 41:54Speaker 1: the best for the minority people that he comes from
- 41:58Speaker 1: that he happens to be one of. And because you've
- 42:01Speaker 1: had this illustrious football career and had a wonderful time
- 42:04Speaker 1: as a Georgia Bulldog and been pairing for your whole
- 42:07Speaker 1: life because your ass been an athlete. That don't mean
- 42:09Speaker 1: a damn thing to us, because as you live this coddle,
- 42:13Speaker 1: cush ass life from athletics all the way up through Georgia,
- 42:17Speaker 1: all the way to the mighty Dallas Cowboys, and you
- 42:20Speaker 1: haven't had to be privy to what the average black
- 42:23Speaker 1: person has to go through this country because they've accepted
- 42:26Speaker 1: you and put you in a circle. Well, now you're
- 42:28Speaker 1: in that circle, and you thank you in the circle.
- 42:30Speaker 1: But you to lose this election, you're gonna find out,
- 42:32Speaker 1: did you right back over here with us? And so
- 42:34Speaker 1: now we're not gonna get off talking about herschel Walker.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Black conservatives are not the smartest people in the world.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Barack Obama was not a black conservative. He appeared awfully
- 42:45Speaker 1: bright to me. Stacy Abrams is not a Black conservative.
- 42:48Speaker 1: She appears awfully bright to me. I'm not a black conservative.
- 42:53Speaker 1: You might not think I'm bright, but I ain't dumb
- 42:55Speaker 1: at all. And I happen to have hedged myself and
- 42:58Speaker 1: pulled myself up in this country without the aid of bootstraps.
- 43:02Speaker 1: What you keep telling us we need to do pull
- 43:05Speaker 1: yourself over by your bootstraps. Well, Steve Harvey got up
- 43:08Speaker 1: without the straps and oftentimes without the boots. But you
- 43:12Speaker 1: are asking the masses of black people to do that
- 43:14Speaker 1: over and over and over again, but the Conservatives, through
- 43:18Speaker 1: your policies, keep stripping us of anything that allows us
- 43:23Speaker 1: to have boots or straps. So, no, we're not going
- 43:27Speaker 1: to be quiet. No, we're not gonna let herschel Walker
- 43:30Speaker 1: just walk his ass in. No, and we're not gonna
- 43:34Speaker 1: change the way we do stuff on this station. I
- 43:36Speaker 1: appreciate you like the music and it's funny, but you're
- 43:39Speaker 1: gonna have to like what hall coming not being funny too,
- 43:41Speaker 1: because a whole lot of funny about not by being
- 43:43Speaker 1: a whole lot that ain't funny about being black, and
- 43:46Speaker 1: we talk about those things too. Now. I know you
- 43:48Speaker 1: want us to go be happy and go sit down somewhere,
- 43:50Speaker 1: but we ain't. Were standing up in herschel Walker's ass
- 43:53Speaker 1: is not gonna make it, and we're gonna see to that.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Thank you. Yeah, who you know, Let him know, Steve Harvey,
- 44:01Speaker 1: just let him know. Yeah, all right, Coming up next
- 44:05Speaker 1: it is we're gonna switch gears here. Junior in for
- 44:07Speaker 1: the nephew with Today's Frank phone call. Right after this,
- 44:10Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 44:15Speaker 1: top of the hour. Right about four minutes after, it's
- 44:18Speaker 1: my Strawberry letter for today, and the subject is how
- 44:21Speaker 1: can he live like this? Yeah? Well, Shirley, and another
- 44:25Speaker 1: thing about herschel Walker on the last Moss, dude, gonna
- 44:29Speaker 1: tell me whatnot? Tell me? Tell you something else about
- 44:32Speaker 1: herschel Walker. Tell herschel Walker first of all, Yeah, learn
- 44:36Speaker 1: how many states we got. Yeah, he needed to do that.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Stop lying about how many employees he got because he
- 44:45Speaker 1: don't have eight hundred. He got eight and my stupid
- 44:50Speaker 1: non black conservative self got more employees and some other
- 44:54Speaker 1: things and he got and tell herschel Walker to quit
- 44:59Speaker 1: talking about far motherless homes when he didn't create a
- 45:02Speaker 1: foel and tell him to take care of his kids,
- 45:06Speaker 1: recognize his kids, honor his children, and let us know
- 45:10Speaker 1: who they are. I've had to do the same thing
- 45:12Speaker 1: with myself, my stupid ass liberal self. I recognize all
- 45:17Speaker 1: my children. I had to step on to the plate
- 45:19Speaker 1: and do the right thing by mine. I'll be damned
- 45:22Speaker 1: if you're gonna get in office and you don't even
- 45:24Speaker 1: take care of your children, dog, and you're trying to
- 45:27Speaker 1: act like you didn't have them, and you quit mentioning
- 45:29Speaker 1: them because you don't want them to know that they
- 45:31Speaker 1: was all out of wear. Lot Oh you was having
- 45:34Speaker 1: sex out of wear? Lot Oh, that's conservative value right there?
- 45:37Speaker 1: Oh gold out there wasn't it right now? So I'm
- 45:41Speaker 1: Clarence to say about that, Claren White, you got something
- 45:48Speaker 1: to say about everything? Yeah, go ahead, all right? What
- 45:56Speaker 1: you got? What you got? Junior in for the nephew.
- 45:59Speaker 1: I don't even want I don't even want to say
- 46:00Speaker 1: the title of this break because politics, but some booty taxes,
- 46:11Speaker 1: this ignorant show right here? Love, Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 46:20Speaker 1: to reach Kendrick, he Drick. How you doing? Man? My
- 46:23Speaker 1: name is Anthony Man, Anthony Collins. They called me a c.
- 46:26Speaker 1: How you doing? I'm good, bro? How you doing? I'm good?
- 46:29Speaker 1: I'm good. Hey listen, uh this right here, man, this
- 46:33Speaker 1: this I don't even know how to put this though,
- 46:35Speaker 1: but hey, listen, I'm calling you man because I got
- 46:38Speaker 1: some issues. I'm getting ready to find my taxes and
- 46:43Speaker 1: I'm going through all my expenses, all my receipts and
- 46:46Speaker 1: all this kind of stuff. You know. I just I can't.
- 46:51Speaker 1: I can't just let this go. Man, I didn't spend
- 46:53Speaker 1: like twenty thousand dollars on your wife playing ship and
- 46:57Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out, Oh well, rut, wait a minute,
- 47:01Speaker 1: you asking me you know I'm spend twenty thousand dollars
- 47:05Speaker 1: on the chick I'm married too? Is that what you're
- 47:08Speaker 1: telling me? So all I'm trying to do, man, is
- 47:13Speaker 1: I'm trying to do it right off. That's what I'm
- 47:15Speaker 1: trying to do. I'm trying to claim no, no, no, no,
- 47:18Speaker 1: the right off. Basically, what you're telling me is my wife.
- 47:22Speaker 1: I ain't say all that. I ain't saying what you're saying. Bro.
- 47:26Speaker 1: All I'm saying is I'm trying to figure out is
- 47:28Speaker 1: that all right if I claim Melanie on my expenses? Man,
- 47:32Speaker 1: I'm over twenty grand on on money I spent on
- 47:35Speaker 1: Melanie last year. So let me understand something right quick.
- 47:39Speaker 1: You asking me for permission to claim my wife? When
- 47:44Speaker 1: did you ask for permission my wife? Happ me with that? Okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 47:50Speaker 1: let's do this here. Drug. I ain't say I did that.
- 47:53Speaker 1: You saying that. I'm saying, I just want to claim
- 47:56Speaker 1: the taxes because I spent twenty k on it. That's
- 47:59Speaker 1: all I'm saying. Okay, let let's just let's do this, bro.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Let's put melod on on the phone. Let's put mail
- 48:04Speaker 1: on the mother ain't up. We ain't got a brainmeil
- 48:07Speaker 1: in this. We got brainmeiling that. What I'm saying is
- 48:11Speaker 1: we already in it. See in it? What you mean?
- 48:13Speaker 1: We ain't got a brain or any and see any
- 48:15Speaker 1: baby must be outside joke he man. All I'm saying
- 48:19Speaker 1: is do you have a problem with me claiming melody?
- 48:22Speaker 1: You mother? Right? I do, Bro, I got a mother problem,
- 48:25Speaker 1: having this whole mother till my face. Wait? How First
- 48:28Speaker 1: of all, how did you get my information? How do
- 48:30Speaker 1: you get my number? Buss the I asked round for
- 48:33Speaker 1: your numb I ain't want to call you to me
- 48:35Speaker 1: a week to call you. You know what I'm saying.
- 48:37Speaker 1: I'm just trying to dude. I had to spend twenty
- 48:39Speaker 1: grand off. You understand what I'm saying. When did you
- 48:42Speaker 1: spend twenty grand? That's just I want to know. I
- 48:44Speaker 1: ain't spent twenty grand on this mother, and I'm married
- 48:47Speaker 1: to hey, so what what the are you doing that
- 48:49Speaker 1: you spent twenty thousand dollars on my wife and then
- 48:53Speaker 1: you want to claim that. Have me understand that. Hey, man,
- 48:58Speaker 1: I ain't trying to go and to all my receipts
- 49:00Speaker 1: on everything I did for Melanie. I'm not trying to
- 49:03Speaker 1: do that. All I'm trying to do is is just
- 49:06Speaker 1: I just want to. I want to. I want to
- 49:08Speaker 1: know if you. I don't want to both claiming it,
- 49:09Speaker 1: because that's how you get in trouble. Bro, you already
- 49:14Speaker 1: and mother bru trouble is the last mother sign you
- 49:17Speaker 1: ought to be worried about. And you calling my mother phone,
- 49:20Speaker 1: telling me about something that you got going home with
- 49:22Speaker 1: my old lady, and then you're telling me can I
- 49:26Speaker 1: have your permission? You? Okay? So we gotta get some
- 49:32Speaker 1: kind of resolution to this. A good resolution is a
- 49:35Speaker 1: good ass was what's you mean a resolution that? That's
- 49:37Speaker 1: the only mother resolution we're gonna get. Bro, Ain't no
- 49:41Speaker 1: other resolution, Ain't no other resolutions. We we ain't got
- 49:45Speaker 1: to talk about. We ain't got a mother trying to
- 49:48Speaker 1: talk about. That's the resolution I got back. I'll tell
- 49:51Speaker 1: you what, Bro, I'm texting Meal right now. I've been
- 49:53Speaker 1: texting her since we've been on this mother's phone and
- 49:57Speaker 1: what did you texting her? Father? What you mean you
- 50:00Speaker 1: went in my texting her foot? She is a subject matter,
- 50:02Speaker 1: so that's why the I'm testing her. But you better
- 50:05Speaker 1: pray to God. This is a book. I hope to God.
- 50:08Speaker 1: You y'all got y'all people stuff with me like this body.
- 50:12Speaker 1: This ain't gonna go do it bro at all at all? Okay,
- 50:19Speaker 1: So I guess I can't claim them at this point.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Hell mother, now, so what you want to do though,
- 50:27Speaker 1: But I'm already to tell you what I'm gonna do.
- 50:30Speaker 1: And I'm waiting on meals with fun. So on this mother?
- 50:32Speaker 1: See that glass she slowed in the mother? She can't
- 50:35Speaker 1: type fail. But somebody gonna get me some men to day? Okay,
- 50:41Speaker 1: but better look at Brian. I don't know who this is.
- 50:44Speaker 1: On the other than the end of this room. I
- 50:46Speaker 1: hope to guard. There's some somebody of the X fives
- 50:49Speaker 1: or something that I can't even fathom. You better pray
- 50:53Speaker 1: to God, y'all playing with me? This is a boot okay, Okay,
- 50:58Speaker 1: So can I go on? Gona tell you this your dog,
- 51:02Speaker 1: and then I'm gonna get out your way, man, because
- 51:04Speaker 1: I know how it's gonna go after this. Can I
- 51:06Speaker 1: just gonna tell you something else, But I don't know
- 51:08Speaker 1: what the else you can tell me, Bro. The only
- 51:11Speaker 1: thing I can tell you, the only thing I can
- 51:14Speaker 1: tell you, Kendrick, is that this is nephew Tommy from
- 51:17Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your wife Melanie got me
- 51:21Speaker 1: to prank phone call you dog by y'all from ratting mother.

- 51:44Speaker 1: And I don't threw them the way because my fist
- 51:46Speaker 1: fresh year already have. Uh, you ain't, man. I gotta
- 51:53Speaker 1: make sure you all right before we get off the phone.

- 52:00Speaker 1: I'm right all right. Tell me this. What's the baddest that,

- 52:15Speaker 1: tell him my toll. Yeah, Tommy got scared. Yeah she
- 52:29Speaker 1: be yeah right yeah. Let me go in and end this, Tommy.
- 52:37Speaker 1: He man, what is your texting, Huffball? Part of my texting?
- 52:44Speaker 1: She because she's the subject matter you oh, she type
- 52:50Speaker 1: of slow like she slow? Now okay, he said he
- 52:57Speaker 1: needed to drink. It's early. Yeah, he said, I just
- 53:00Speaker 1: to to crack li away cob ba frist. All right,

- 54:47Speaker 1: Thrill Letter right here. Never know it could be yours. Yeah, Gillman,
- 54:52Speaker 1: Time for the Strawberry Letter with my good friend, a
- 54:55Speaker 1: black liberal named Shirley Strawberry. For her dumb behalf educated
- 55:01Speaker 1: let a coast Thank you junior subject, how can he
- 55:08Speaker 1: live like this? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a forty six
- 55:11Speaker 1: year old divorced female and my new boyfriend is not
- 55:14Speaker 1: a bad guy, but he has bad habits. I believe
- 55:18Speaker 1: in standing by my man and believing in him, so
- 55:21Speaker 1: I'm hanging on to him and hope he can get
- 55:24Speaker 1: his life together. We've dated for five months and I
- 55:28Speaker 1: see he lives paycheck to paycheck, and he admitted that
- 55:31Speaker 1: he pays his bills on alternate months so he can
- 55:34Speaker 1: have money to kick it and travel. He's forty eight
- 55:38Speaker 1: and still turns up every chance he gets. When we
- 55:41Speaker 1: go out to eat, he won't admit that he's short,
- 55:44Speaker 1: and when the bill comes he will say he's got
- 55:46Speaker 1: twenty five or thirty dollars on the check, even if
- 55:50Speaker 1: it is a two hundred dollars check. I pick up
- 55:53Speaker 1: the slack with my man because I feel like he
- 55:55Speaker 1: would do the same for me if he was financially
- 55:58Speaker 1: able to His house is barely furnished, and since I've
- 56:02Speaker 1: met him, he said he's buying a sofa and artwork
- 56:07Speaker 1: for his living room. Recently, he asked if I knew
- 56:10Speaker 1: anyone that has a gently used sofa that they want
- 56:14Speaker 1: to sell, it would never excuse me. I would never
- 56:19Speaker 1: date someone like this, but I'm trying to be less shallow.
- 56:23Speaker 1: He asked me to take his clothes to the cleaners,
- 56:25Speaker 1: and when I dropped them off, I had to pay
- 56:27Speaker 1: for them. I didn't ask for my money back, so
- 56:30Speaker 1: he didn't offer it. But when it's time for him
- 56:33Speaker 1: to go out with his boys, I find a receipt
- 56:36Speaker 1: where he's bought drinks, food, and cigars. I don't know
- 56:40Speaker 1: how he can live like this, and I'm starting to
- 56:42Speaker 1: think that he's trying to see how much he can
- 56:44Speaker 1: get away with me. Does he want. Does he want
- 56:48Speaker 1: to be this sorry or is he really trying to
- 56:50Speaker 1: get his life back on track like he told me.
- 56:52Speaker 1: By the way, he's divorced and when his ex wife
- 56:55Speaker 1: met me, she blasted him in front of me and
- 56:58Speaker 1: called him a sorry excuse for a man. I thought
- 57:01Speaker 1: she was bitter at first, but now I think she's
- 57:04Speaker 1: onto something. Should I continue to work at this or not? Okay, seriously,
- 57:09Speaker 1: you really already know the answer to this clearly. You
- 57:15Speaker 1: wrote this letter to Steve and I for confirmation because
- 57:18Speaker 1: you know what the deal is with this loser. You
- 57:21Speaker 1: said you saw receipts from when he goes out with
- 57:24Speaker 1: his boys. He's buying drinks, cigars, food. He's got money
- 57:28Speaker 1: for that, So then why are you paying for this
- 57:31Speaker 1: grown man? He's forty eight, twenty five or thirty dollars
- 57:34Speaker 1: on a two hundred dollars bill. What are you guys
- 57:38Speaker 1: eating and he's only got that much? Come on, you've
- 57:40Speaker 1: only known this guy for five months. He's not even
- 57:43Speaker 1: trying to help himself, and why would he because he
- 57:47Speaker 1: knows you, Like you said, you always pick up the slack.
- 57:50Speaker 1: You're happy to have this back. Girl. Stop before you're
- 57:55Speaker 1: in the same financial position as he is in. If
- 57:58Speaker 1: you keep doing all this picking up the slack. You
- 58:01Speaker 1: know he's paying twenty to thirty dollars on a two
- 58:04Speaker 1: hundred dollar bill. You're paying the rest. Come on, as
- 58:08Speaker 1: if you keep this up, you will go broke. I
- 58:11Speaker 1: know that's not what you want. You're giving too much
- 58:14Speaker 1: too soon. This is just your boyfriend, This is not
- 58:16Speaker 1: your husband. He Where is the incentive for this man
- 58:20Speaker 1: to get his life together? Where is that You're right
- 58:23Speaker 1: there to take care of everything. There's no incentive, there's
- 58:25Speaker 1: no push for him to do that. You know the
- 58:28Speaker 1: answer already. I know you do. Stop. He is not
- 58:32Speaker 1: going to try to get his life together. No, he's
- 58:35Speaker 1: not doing that. If he was gonna do that, he'd
- 58:37Speaker 1: be doing it. Please let him get the message and
- 58:40Speaker 1: understand that you his sugar mama has retired, and do
- 58:44Speaker 1: that immediately. Steve, subject of the letter, how can he
- 58:49Speaker 1: live like this? Well? Stop asking how, because he's doing
- 58:53Speaker 1: it and this is his plan. I'm gonna share it
- 58:58Speaker 1: with you. I'm gonna share with what you say, and
- 59:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you what he's doing and what he's saying.
- 59:03Speaker 1: And you see if it makes sense to you. You're
- 59:06Speaker 1: forty six year old divorced female, and my new boyfriends
- 59:10Speaker 1: not a bad guy, but he has bad habits. Okay,
- 59:14Speaker 1: let's stop right here. Good guys usually have good habits.
- 59:19Speaker 1: The reason a person has bad habits bad habits. Your
- 59:24Speaker 1: habits make you who you are. So if a good
- 59:27Speaker 1: guy has bad habits, you very can't call him a
- 59:31Speaker 1: good guy. You say he's not a bad guy, but
- 59:34Speaker 1: he has bad habits, Well, then what's good about him? Man? Well,
- 59:38Speaker 1: let's go. Let's see. I believe him, standing by my
- 59:40Speaker 1: man and believing in him, so I'm hanging on him
- 59:42Speaker 1: and hope that he can get his life together. Well,
- 59:45Speaker 1: let's see how he gets his life together. We've dated
- 59:47Speaker 1: for five months, and I see he lives paycheck to paycheck,
- 59:51Speaker 1: and he admitted that he pays his bills on alternate
- 59:55Speaker 1: months so he can have money to kick it and travel.
- 59:58Speaker 1: That sounds like a man with playing to meet. If
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: we come back, we're gonna go over this plan. I'll
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: pay my bills on alternate Moss, girl, you got a
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: man with a plan, all right? Hang on, Steve, hang on.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: We can't wait for part two of your response to
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. We'll get that out of our twenty
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour. The subject for today's letter
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: is how can he live like this? We'll get more
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: is how can he live like this? You know, my
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: only hope is that I don't run out of time,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: because I really want to show this lady something. You're
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: forty six year old. You're dating a new boyfriend who's
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: not a bad guy, but he has bad habits. You
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: didn't say he was a good guy. You said he's
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: not a bad guy, but he has bad habits. So
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: if you're saying he has bad habits but he's not
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: a bad guys, you're overlooking something. I believe in standing
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: by my man and believing in him, so I'm hanging
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: on to him and hopes that he can get his
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: life together. Well, let's see how he's gonna do that.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: We dated for five months and I see he lives
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: paycheck to paycheck, and he admitted that he pays the
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: bills on alternate months so he can have money to
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: kick it with and travel. That's his plan. So if
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: you're paying your bills on alternate months, you have bad credit.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: So you hooked up with a man whose plan is
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: to pay his bills on alternate months so he can
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: have money to travel and kick it. He's not doing
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: it so he can have money to save. He's having
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: so he can travel and kick it. He's forty eight.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Forty eight is too old for this. He turns up
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: every chance. He gets too old for that. When we
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: go out to eat, he won't admit that he's showed
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: when the bill comes here and say he got twenty
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: five thirty on the check, even if it's a two
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: hundred dollars check. O okay, So I see. So you
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: just want a man, that's what. Yeah, she's hanging on.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Oh you just want to say you dating somebody? You
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: just want a man because he eating? Didn't he tell
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: you at the last minute he's showing up, but he
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: only got twenty five thirty on a two hundred dollars check.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I pick up the slack with my man because I
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: feel like he would do the same for me if
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: he was financially able to. He don't have a financially
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: able to plan. He pay his bills on alternate months
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: so he can kick it and travel it. What month
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: did you see him being financially able to come up
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: with more than thirty dollars to eat? His house is
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: barely furnished, and since I met him, he said he's
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: buying a sofa at Artwork for the living room. Recently
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: asked if I knew anyone who had a gently used
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: sofa that they want to sell. You know why he
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: got to do that because he don't have credit, because
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: he can't even go down the rooms to go or
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: havities and sign up for now one of them programs
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: so he can get him sell some furniture. You know
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: they got programs down now. I remember when I first
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: got out, I signed up at Wick's Furniture. They gave
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: me a thousand dollars credit. When got me a thousand
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: dollars furnitu my whole house with a thousand dollars right now,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: the whole damn house, because they said we got thousand
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: dollars that's all I had. Okay, cool? Recently asking if
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I knew anyone with a generous sofa who wanted to
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: sell it. I would never date anyone like this. But
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: I'm trying to be less shallow. Oh oh, you puddle
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: shallow now or you just a puddle in the sidewalk
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: shallow now? See shallow men, you don't have a deep
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: end on your pool. You shallow where you just splash
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: around on the sidewalk. Puddle now, because you defied this
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: nothing now, as dude right here, you trying to turn
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: into a man, and he ain't trying to turn himself
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: into a man. Good luck with this one, lady. He
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: asked me to take his clothes to the cleaners, and
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: when I dropped him off, I had to pay for him.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I didn't ask for my money back, and he didn't offer.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: He ain't got nothing off for them back. He can't
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: take clothes to the cleaners. He paying bills every other month,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: and when you take the clothes to the cleaners, that's
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: the month that he ain't paying bill. Steve, you ain't
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: getting But when it comes time for him to go
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: out with it with his boys, I found his seats
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: where he bought drinks, food and cigars. I don't know
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: how he can live like this. It's every other mud.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: He pays his bills every other month, so he could
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: kick it and travel when you buy cigars and drakes.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: You kicking it. Now, Look, I'll understand what being short
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: and you want to have some type of life because
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: you're going to work every day. I got that, But
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: you got that one point in time trying to fix
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: the problem. The problems with a forty eight year old
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: is acting like this and he hasn't recovered from his
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: twenties yet. See, he did all this in his twenties,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: and that's when most men spend all of their thirties
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: fixing what they messed up in their twenties. But he
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: didn't spend his thirties fixing what he did in his twenties.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: He repeated the thirties in the twenties. That's why this
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: woman left his hat. Now you got this forty eight
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: year old. Damn the fifty ye old man then ain't
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: got no credit, no plan for the future, no savings,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: and still kicking it. It's two people stupid in this letter.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: H I don't know how he can live like that,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: And I'm starting to think he's trying to see how
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: much he can get away with me, He get away
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: with everything. Does he want to be this sorry or
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: is he really trying to get his life back on track,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: like he told me, Wait a minute, back on track
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: from Whua. Yeah, get his life back on track from whua.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: When has it been on track? He just had another
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: wife and by the way, he's divorced. And when his
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: ex wife met me, she blasted me in fund of him,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: calling him a saw excuse for him. Man, I thought
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: she would bid at first, but now I think she's
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: onto something. Yeah, she left him for the same reason.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Should I continue to work on this or not? Have
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: you ever asked him why he got a divorce? No,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: you didn't, and you might find out that nothing has changed.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: You'd be better off just talking to his ex wife
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: because he's not gonna tell you the truth. And the
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: truth he hadn't told you should have been enough. I
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: pay my bills on alternate. Mom, what talking kicking and
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: travel is that you're signing up for that? Lady? Are
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: you out of your mind? You? It's two people stupid
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: in this letter. The man is real stupid and you're
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: stupid her. Yeah, Fama, Okay, thank you. Steve. Post your
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Barb FM on

- 1:07:42Speaker 1: can't if y'a neck and y'all shoulder the same time.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: He's the smartest black concern because we pressed the pellot.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: You can't call into this show and tell us not
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: to talk about herschel Walker the hell we is. He
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: don't know how many states it is. And when he
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: came out with him children, where was y'all a then
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: y'all didn't say nothing when he said he got three
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: other children that he's now pub me claiman Now you're
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: gonna tell her that he's the smartest black and servant
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: that where we are going. So us as liberals were
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: just stupid. Huh caller, I just got called stupid. Now
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I ain't get the smartest for show, but I can't
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: be stupid. That's the one thing I know for people
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: who miss his Junior was a caller last hour that
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: talked about, well, they know want called in here. We know,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: we know, we know. Junior said, I'm at the point
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: his dad shouldn't have called him in and if you
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: don't rewind the show on the podcast and his head
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: teller for being black man, that offended me. I'm gonna
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: glad off you handling so professional you did? You did
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: a professional I'm not. I'm not. I'm not that type
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: of Christian that you at. I'm not. You did big
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: well handling that. Man. I can't handle it like that.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I just got called stupid because I'm a black liberal.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: What I got found And yeah, if you're not doing
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: as Christianity as well as I am, you're some serious
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: trouble because you give it all you got up level, Christian,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I'm at level two you out of ten now, ye
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: trying to be two point five. But they told me
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: what they didn't tell on So yeah, yeah, I try
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: to change every time the new iPhone come out. But
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: high started high. Also the sport just today, let you
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: know that the Shawn Watson's trial starts today with the NFL.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: We're gonna see what happens. We're gonna they're gonna have
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: a you know, a ruling or whether he's gonna play
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: this season or not. So that is a big story,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: a sports happening. We're gonna find up the sean he's
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: gonna be a quarterback for the Cleveland Browns or he
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: didn't have to sit another season. Now, so twenty of
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: you gonna do. You're gonna take the little happy tone
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: out your voice when you're talking about the shan Wah,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Are you offended he just gonna sit another season? Now
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: you start talking to you like that, well, that's not
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: what but then I understand and never therefore that's what
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: the little sing he asked totally thank you two or
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: three games than coming up at the top of the hour,

- 1:10:31Speaker 1: and if you want to leave a message for Steven,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: please do we welcome you eight seven seven twenty nine
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve, Are you ready? Steve?
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Here this color is a single mom who just needs
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: some dating advice Steve. This messages were, well, it's a question.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: My name is Yasny. We'll just leave it up my
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: first name, and my question is, um, how does a
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: young and another deal with the dating world out there
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: when she starts to realize that most men don't want
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: to date a single mother, nor did they really want
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: to give her a chance, because I guess they're passing
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: judgment on her. I'm the mother of twins. They're still
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: very small, they are only three years old going a girl,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: and I really like this guy and he's a great person,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: very successful. I'm very successful as well, but he doesn't
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: want to take her to the next level because I'm
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: a single mother, and I'd just like to know what
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Stephen Harvey's opinion is, what I should do, how I
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: should handle this, because it's really it's very discouraging. Well,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: first of all, don't be discouraged. Don't place the label
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: on yourself the fact that you are a single mother
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: that no one wants you, because that's not the case.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Shirley was a single mother, final love again. Margie was
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: a single mother of three found love again. There are
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: millions of cases of people out there. So first things first,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: don't put that on yourself. Don't bring that negativity in
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: your existence, and don't put it out there in the
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: aura in the universe. You are fine. Just like he
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: was attracted to you, someone else would be attracted to
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: you and will be mature enough to understand that you
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: are a package. You are a very successful and attractive package.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: And just because you run up into some men who
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: feel that way, there's a lot of men who don't
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: feel that way at all. Matter of fact, there are
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: a lot of men who are raising children that don't
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: belong to them biology and doing a great job of
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: it too. And hats off to all of those men.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: And there's a man out there for you. But you
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: cannot put into the universe that no one wants you,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: because that's not true. It's not after they find out. See,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: But what's good for you as you're finding this out
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: in time. Now. If they don't want you because you
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: have kids, then they don't want you, period. And let's
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: stop passing out the cookie for people that don't want
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: the package. Okay, the cookie comes in the package. No package,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: no cookie, cookie, and you'll be just fine. And everything
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: is going on. To kill the baby talk because it
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: makes a lot of men come to you quicker by talking.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Do that right there, it's a little bit more authoritative.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: So yeah, sounds like I got three kids, and you know,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: we're moving on from yasmine to uh David Henry our
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: next caller. He has a congratulations shout out. Yes, mister C. Harvey,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: this is mister David Henry Senior. I'm sitting here with
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: my wife watching the Daytime image as wont to let
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: you know that you just won one for the Family
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Huge show, and I'm so proud of you. See I've
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: been following your career for a very long time and
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: a brother like you deserved this seal. This won't let
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: you know that. Ste Thank you, David Henry Senior and
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: his wife. I appreciate y'all. Thank you so much. Uh man,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: it's it's it's been a it's it's it's it's just
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: a heck of a ride. I'm on, man, and I
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: ain't got none but praise for God for my life
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: because I don't know how He did this for me.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: He keeps surprising me. I'm actually in awe. I am
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: actually in awe of God's goodness and grace and mercy
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: towards me. I can't believe it, man, because why I
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: used to be to where I am today, what I
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: was from where to where I am today, Lord him mercy.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: I don't know how he did it because it showed
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: wasn't me, Because if it was on me, I would
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: have done it a long time ago. That's how I
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: know it wasn't me, because I was it on my
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: decisions back then. Thus three years of homelessness. All right,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: all right, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Show coming up at about twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Rudy Giuliani is in the music again, and this time
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: it was because he was slapped. Rudy Giuliani was slapped
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: in the back by an employee at a shopwright store
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: on Staten Island on Sunday while on the campaign trail
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: with his son. Though video shows what looks like could
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: have been a friendly slap on the back, the former
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Donald Trump lawyer told New York Post he was shaken.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Giuliani said, all of a sudden, I feel this bam
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: on my back. I just about fell down, but I didn't.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I feel this tremendous pain in my back, and all
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: of a sudden, I hear this guy say, you're an
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: effing scumbag. You're one of the people that's gonna kill women.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: You and your effing friend are gonna kill women. The
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: alleged slapper reportedly was upset, of course, about the Supreme
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Court's decision to strike down Robie bade Well. I think
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Rudy need to stay his whole ass home. You getting
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: hit in the back fall and you need to stay
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: on time for you to stay on drug store. He
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: just slapped him back. Now, if he pushed you down,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: that's another story. But he slapped you back. You damn
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: they fail. It's time of your stay home and get
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: some assistance. You need to check into an assistant living place.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Rudy quit going to the stuff. You need a walker.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: How about that? You need a walker, you know, Yeah,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: you have a couple of things you might need you
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: to help you balance. Take all that black stuff out
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: your hair and walker. That's the part of the story
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: that was missing. Yeah, I went everywhere after scrapped you
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: and all that Beijing and went down my whole head
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: and got in mind going up thirty three being blinded.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: You you had head dying your eye. We'll playing around it.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Would you rather right after this you're listening show? It
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: is time now for a round of wouldn't you rather?
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Would you rather propose in front of a crowd or
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: would you rather proposed privately? Junior said, be privately? Yeah,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I go with yeah. She said, you know people, Yeah,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: gotta fight everybody somebody, Yeah, bring back in my pocket.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: All this same I got to get up. I gotta
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: get up off my knee, turnaround, figure out which wears
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: to hold in the crowd, I can, you know, I
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: gotta get a bathroom and wash my face, you know
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: all this show man, And then the crowd is like collectively,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: oh man, somebody in the crowd. Yeah, somebody hit me
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: on the back like they did rude it. I probably
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: hanging that dog, all right, wouldn't you rather use a
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: dating app or would you rather go old school and
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: go on a blind date? Yeah? Yeah, because people lie
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: on their profile pictures, you ain't who I'd rather just
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: go see it for myself, didn't and have someone do
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: an emergency call if you don't like the way they look.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I could walk out the blind date. I've actually been
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: on a blind date so bad that I acted as
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: if I would black. How did you do that? What walk?
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: You could see? And then you wouldn't have happened? As
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: soon as she walked up to the table, I got him,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: snapped the chair leg off the guy and tapped my
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: way right out that day. That didn't happen. Soon as
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: you saw up. As soon as she sat down, I
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: stud him, snapped the leg off, tapping my ass right
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: off that the table wasn't long enough. I had to
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: be it over kind of look crazy, What are you doing?
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: Who are you on the way? You didn't touch nothing
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: on the way because you can see when you was
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: going there, Spike, I kept looking for my dog. I
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: dog crazy, all right? When you Spike, damn dog. Would
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: you rather compete in the summer Olympics or would you
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: rather compete in a winter Olympic sport. What the hell
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: am I doing the winter sports ice skating? You like
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: louge ok, so, I guess that's summer for the both
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: of you. All right, thank you? Coming up with forty
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: nine minutes after the hour, we'll have our last break
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: of the day and Steve Harvey, our fearless leader, the
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: one and only, will close out the show right after
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: this you're listening to all right, it is our last
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: break of the day on this Tuesday. And don't forget
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: today is election day in these states Illinois, New York, Utah, Oklahoma,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: and Colorado. So we need you to get out and
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: vote today. You know, there is a big election, midterm
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: election coming up this November, so we need you to
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: show up and vote. Okay, if you have any questions
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: about anything, please go to when we All Vote dot org.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: When we All Vote dot org. That's where you can
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: get all your voting information. But we need you, We
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: need you Illinois, that's Chicago, right, Steve got we're voting today, man,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Which is these are these elections that we have to
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: get involved in. Yes, we have to get involved in
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: these elections. It's very very important. So let's get out.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: Let's vote. Yeah, we gotta make it a habit. Guys,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: got to make it a happy So surely earlier today
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: you did all. We did some voicemail huh. And one
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: of the calls was so interesting that I wanted to
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: use it as my closing remarks. And uh, it was
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: off the top of my head. I wasn't expecting any
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: phone call, but it came through, and I just felt
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: compelled because it's interesting when people when I feel like
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: people are talking directly to me, or I get a
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: chance to talk back to someone who's normally a blog
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: or something online, it's always been interesting. So here's the
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: phone call that we had earlier. I want you from
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: cha from Charagle. Here we go. Yeah, if I have
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: a complaint. They had a quick cutting down herschel Walker.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I'm tired tired of time. I like the stations. I'm
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: a drummer, I like music, and that was really cool.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: But they had a quick cutting down herschel Walker. I mean,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: the black conservatives of the smartest people we got going
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: right now, they will keep America together. People to cut
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: down black conservatives are not right. You know, these liberals,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: their comments themselves, I guess something to say this Sorchel Walker,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: you need a base one out of one so that
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: all the funny liberal media crap. I don't feel I
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: don't think it's funny at all. I mean, a good person,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Black conservatives are the smartest people going right now. People
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: aren't cutting and cutting down and brown purpose of rocks.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Leave that out of the station. Thank you. Yeah, I
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: appreciate you, sir. You have the right to say what
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: you want to say. But I disagree with one major remark.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Black conservatives are not the smartest people in the world.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: They're not. See when you say something like that that
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: black conservatives are the smartest people in the world, and
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: then you make an anti liberal remark, what you're saying
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: is if you're not a conservative and you're black, then
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: that's you're not as smart as herschel Walker. My problem
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: with herschel Walker is not that he's a black conservative.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: My problem with herschel Walker is he doesn't know the
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: issues and he sounds idiotic. That's my problem with herschel Walker.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: If you're gonna find a black person to go up
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: against all Warner, at least find somebody that's intelligent. Why
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: how'd you go dig this cat up right here? That
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: don't know the issues. That's not well spoken, and so
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: that's the problem we have. And there's black people. We
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: have the right to say who we vote for and
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: who we don't hurt for, and we don't leave it
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: off the station because it is our station obligation. See,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: the problem with that statement serves what you don't understand
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: about black people, as we are the only race of
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: people that's responsible for the actions of one another. White
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: people are not responsible for each other's actual actions, and
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: you don't get blamed for each other's action, but we do.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: We are in the minority, and we have got to
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: get more together being in the minority if we want
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: to further our causes and our lifestyle. When a person
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: like herschel Walker comes along and we see him as
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: doing the bidding of the Conservative Party and voting against
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: policies that go against what's the best for the minority
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: people that he comes from that he happens to be
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: one of. And because you've had this illustrious football career
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: and had a wonderful time as a Georgia Bulldog and
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: been pairing for your whole life. Because your ask in
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: an athlete, that don't mean a damn thing to us,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: because as you live this coddle, could she ass life
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: from athletics all the way up through Georgia all the
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: way to the mighty Dallas Cowboys, And you haven't had
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: to be privy to what average black person has to
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: go through this country because they've accepted you and put
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: you in a circle. Well, now you're in that circle,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: and you thank you in the circle. But you to
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: lose this election, you're gonna find out that you right
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: back over here with us. And so now we're not
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: gonna get off talking about herschel Walker. Black conservatives are
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: not the smartest people in the world. Barack Obama was
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: not a Black conservative. He appeared awfully bright to me.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams is not a Black conservative. She appears awfully
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: bright to me. I'm not a black conservative. You might
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: not think I'm bright, but I ain't dumb at all.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: And I happen to have hedged myself and pull myself
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: up in this country without the aid of bootstraps. What
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: you keep telling us we need to do pull yourself
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: over by your bootstraps, Well, Steve Harvey got up without
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: the straps and oftentimes without the boots. But you are
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: asking the masses of black people to do that over
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: and over and over again, but the Conservatives, through your policies,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: keep stripping us of anything that allows us to have
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: boots all straps. So no, we're not going to be quiet. No,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: we're not gonna let herschel Walker just walk his ass in. No,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: and we're not gonna change the way we do stuff
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: on this station. I appreciate you like the music and
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: it's funny, but you're gonna have to like what all
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: coming not being funny too, because a whole lot of
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: funny about bout being a whole lot that ain't funny
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: about being black, and we talk about those things too. Now.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: I know you want us to go be happy and
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: go sit down somewhere, but we ain't. Were standing up
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: in herschel Walker's ass is not gonna make it, and
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: we're gonna see to that. Thank you woman. Let him
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: know Steve Harvey sat him now. So in light of that, everybody, listen,
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: enjoy your day, Hey, listen, talk to God. He would
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: love to hear from you. Y'all have a nice room,
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: because we show it for all. Steve Harvey contests no
