- 2:18Speaker 2: to me. Wow.
- 2:22Speaker 6: And and you know why I say it like that.
- 2:24Speaker 6: What makes it amazing is because it's been in spite
- 2:27Speaker 6: of myself.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I mean, you know what I mean by that. I
- 2:31Speaker 2: mean I mean that he's been good to me.
- 2:35Speaker 6: In spite of all the craziness I've done, all the
- 2:40Speaker 6: foolishness I've gotten myself involved with, and not only got
- 2:44Speaker 6: but knowingly got myself involved with, all of the stupid
- 2:49Speaker 6: decisions I've made. Put all that to the side, and
- 2:55Speaker 6: he's still been good to me. Bring it all and
- 2:58Speaker 6: put it on the plate, and he's being good to me.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Man.
- 3:01Speaker 6: That's amazing man, And I'm sure there's a lot of
- 3:04Speaker 6: people that can say the exact same thing.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I mean, come on, man, I got you.
- 3:09Speaker 6: Ain't famous, I got ain't nobody, got no microphone in
- 3:12Speaker 6: your face, I got nobody, ain't got no spotlight on you.
- 3:14Speaker 6: I got nobody, ain't got no camera in your face.
- 3:16Speaker 6: I got nobody probably ain't nobody blogging about you. But
- 3:19Speaker 6: let me tell you something. If you break it down
- 3:21Speaker 6: and be real about it, Oh you done done something
- 3:24Speaker 6: outside the box. You done done something ladies included, you've
- 3:28Speaker 6: done something out the box. You woke up and went
- 3:30Speaker 6: what did I do that for?
- 3:33Speaker 7: Oh?
- 3:33Speaker 2: We've all done it. So with all that said and done.
- 3:38Speaker 6: God still loves you, man, God still loves you, still
- 3:42Speaker 6: wants the best for you, still considers you his child,
- 3:45Speaker 6: and its willing. It's willing man to show you your future.
- 3:50Speaker 6: He is willing to show you your life. He is
- 3:53Speaker 6: willing to let you take a peek at the blueprint.
- 3:57Speaker 8: Man.
- 3:58Speaker 6: That's an amazing God right there. Because I know I
- 4:01Speaker 6: couldn't do it. I couldn't do it. I'm glad it's him,
- 4:05Speaker 6: you know. Today, Man, I want to encourage brothers out
- 4:07Speaker 6: there and when I say brothers, I'm talking to everybody
- 4:10Speaker 6: that's of the male species. I don't care about your color.
- 4:13Speaker 6: I really really don't. I don't even have time for
- 4:15Speaker 6: that in my day. Matter of fact, sometimes when you
- 4:18Speaker 6: get to discuss and race, I just get tired of it.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Sometimes I just wish, you know, some days I just
- 4:24Speaker 6: want to wake up, just do me. You know, I
- 4:27Speaker 6: got what the skin tone is, I got that, But
- 4:30Speaker 6: I just want to wake up some days and just
- 4:32Speaker 6: going by my business and do me. I don't want
- 4:34Speaker 6: to have to deal with it somebody. I get tired
- 4:35Speaker 6: of talking about the issues. Ain't gonna make them go away,
- 4:38Speaker 6: But sometimes I get tired. So to day, I'm talking
- 4:40Speaker 6: to brothers, all the brothers of the male species. I'm
- 4:43Speaker 6: talking about men today. Man, if you ain't doing it all,
- 4:49Speaker 6: if you're feel an empty man, start today completing your
- 4:52Speaker 6: process and your journey. And you know what I'm saying
- 4:55Speaker 6: by that, if there's a part of you just missing
- 4:58Speaker 6: as a man, and now, man, I'm talking to you.
- 5:03Speaker 6: So you know, some ladies listening, but you know what
- 5:05Speaker 6: I'm talking about. It's some part of you that's missing
- 5:08Speaker 6: as a man. If you ain't really been in touch
- 5:12Speaker 6: with your kids like you're supposed to now for whatever
- 5:14Speaker 6: the reason is. And please know, I do understand how
- 5:19Speaker 6: sometimes women can use children as pawns. It happens all
- 5:25Speaker 6: the time. I've been through it. I've been through it, man,
- 5:28Speaker 6: I know what it feels like, man, to wanna do something.
- 5:31Speaker 6: But because you ain't got this or you ain't doing this,
- 5:34Speaker 6: then I ain't gonna let you have this. You got
- 5:36Speaker 6: to fight through, fellas, you got to fight through. You
- 5:41Speaker 6: got to fulfill your end of the deal. And I
- 5:45Speaker 6: got how difficult they making it. I got how man,
- 5:48Speaker 6: it's gonna come with some drama, but you gotta fight
- 5:50Speaker 6: through it. Because man, we need fathers to be fathers.
- 5:55Speaker 6: That's really what we need. If you're a man out
- 5:57Speaker 6: there and you are a father of a child, we
- 6:00Speaker 6: need you do your job. We I'm talking about our community,
- 6:05Speaker 6: our situation, us as a people, all of us. We
- 6:10Speaker 6: need you to be a father period. Hey man, I
- 6:15Speaker 6: ain't coming down on you. I'm just your boy. I'm
- 6:18Speaker 6: your man. And I've been in the same predicament, in
- 6:22Speaker 6: the same hole myself, where I couldn't get to them,
- 6:25Speaker 6: where they were used as pawns, where they were told
- 6:29Speaker 6: things about me that wasn't even true.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I've been through it. You can't see them, you don't
- 6:34Speaker 2: come up. Okay, okay, I got all that. You ain't
- 6:36Speaker 2: sent this. You ain't okay, Hey got all that.
- 6:39Speaker 6: If you can call them sometimes, tell them you thinking
- 6:44Speaker 6: about them, tell them you love them. If you can
- 6:47Speaker 6: get a letter to them, if you can get a
- 6:50Speaker 6: message to your children through one of your relatives, start
- 6:54Speaker 6: the process today.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Be a father. It's your job now.
- 7:00Speaker 6: Because you ignoring him, or you acting like they ain't
- 7:02Speaker 6: over there, or you thee backed them out of your
- 7:05Speaker 6: mind because the situation got too difficult.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I got that. I got that, But you got to
- 7:10Speaker 2: step up and be fathers. You got to write a letter.
- 7:14Speaker 6: You gotta send the money if she talking about If
- 7:16Speaker 6: you don't send all the money, you ain't gonna see him.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Send what you got. If taking it over there is
- 7:21Speaker 6: too much drama, send it through a relative, Give it
- 7:23Speaker 6: to a mama, give it to her sister, ask her
- 7:26Speaker 6: to take it over there and do something for the baby.
- 7:28Speaker 6: Because okay, okay, you can't deal with the drama. I
- 7:30Speaker 6: got that, and I know it's much to pay when
- 7:34Speaker 6: you have to deal with that because clearly I know
- 7:37Speaker 6: hell have no fury like a woman's going Please know.
- 7:40Speaker 2: I know that, please know.
- 7:42Speaker 6: And that's a real statement. That ain't no saying. Steve
- 7:45Speaker 6: got that's the truth. But do what you gotta do.
- 7:50Speaker 6: Sometimes you have to apologize. Sometimes an apology goes a
- 7:55Speaker 6: long way to your children. Just say look, because I've
- 7:59Speaker 6: made this apology before. Hey man, look I'm sorry. I
- 8:04Speaker 6: wasn't there for you. I was out grinding and hustling
- 8:07Speaker 6: and I wasn't paying attention to you, and I should
- 8:10Speaker 6: have been.
- 8:11Speaker 2: And I apologize.
- 8:12Speaker 6: And I imagine, man, there's days where you was telling
- 8:15Speaker 6: people I was your father up at the school and
- 8:17Speaker 6: they wasn't believing you. I apologize for sending you through that.
- 8:21Speaker 6: But now, ma'am, I tell you what. I made some mistakes,
- 8:25Speaker 6: and I got it together. I want me and you
- 8:27Speaker 6: to move forward as father and son. I want me
- 8:29Speaker 6: and you to move forward as father and daughter. I
- 8:32Speaker 6: want to be in your life now. I ain't got
- 8:34Speaker 6: a lot, but guess what, I know a lot because
- 8:37Speaker 6: if you a man and you a father, please know,
- 8:39Speaker 6: you know something.
- 8:40Speaker 2: That child don't know.
- 8:41Speaker 6: You have information, you have experience. That's all they need
- 8:45Speaker 6: sometimes to have somebody to talk to. That daughter yours
- 8:49Speaker 6: just needs to know from her daddy, how should a
- 8:53Speaker 6: man treat me?
- 8:54Speaker 2: Dad?
- 8:54Speaker 6: What should I look for in a man? See, they'll
- 8:57Speaker 6: take that information from you because they know coming from
- 9:00Speaker 6: the right place. And then you know that your son
- 9:03Speaker 6: needs you because you know how difficult it is if
- 9:07Speaker 6: you're trying to be a man without your daddy. You
- 9:09Speaker 6: already know how funky that is right there. So come on,
- 9:14Speaker 6: man and meet your mistakes and move forward. Call your kids,
- 9:17Speaker 6: write a letter, get a phone number on them, send
- 9:21Speaker 6: a text, drop a message, send a note up to
- 9:24Speaker 6: the school.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Do something. Man.
- 9:27Speaker 6: If those of us that are fathers would just be fathers,
- 9:32Speaker 6: I could shut the minery camp down.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Now.
- 9:36Speaker 6: I will say I apologize because I don't want you
- 9:38Speaker 6: to think I'm coming down on you. But I've been
- 9:40Speaker 6: through this myself. I ain't really coming down. I'm just
- 9:43Speaker 6: reminding you this is our job. These are our children,
- 9:47Speaker 6: this is our responsibility.
- 9:49Speaker 2: We are men. There is no excuses. You don't get
- 9:53Speaker 2: you don't get cut a brake on that one.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Sorry, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Moore Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, The time has arrived. Again.
- 10:08Speaker 6: I've noticed something in particular. I found of late that
- 10:15Speaker 6: when I wake up I'm in such a mode of
- 10:19Speaker 6: gratitude that it doesn't allow for me to wake up
- 10:25Speaker 6: like with symptoms of like waking up on the wrong
- 10:28Speaker 6: side of the bed. I'm not quite feeling myself today,
- 10:34Speaker 6: you know, I'm a little seems like my bio rhythms
- 10:37Speaker 6: are a little off. Oh, that goes away. It's a
- 10:40Speaker 6: funny thing, man, When you wake up with gratitude. It
- 10:45Speaker 6: defines something that I learned at a very painful moment
- 10:49Speaker 6: in my life at my mother's funeral, and the minister
- 10:52Speaker 6: said something that was really telling. He was looking at
- 10:56Speaker 6: me and my brothers and sisters and my father, and
- 10:58Speaker 6: he realized how sad we were, and he.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Said, I know this is rough on you, but I
- 11:03Speaker 2: want you to turn around and take a look at
- 11:05Speaker 2: his church.
- 11:06Speaker 6: How full it is that the entire overflow service room
- 11:10Speaker 6: is full, and people are standing on the streets in
- 11:14Speaker 6: the parking lot.
- 11:15Speaker 2: To come and honor the work.
- 11:17Speaker 6: That your mother did as a Sunday school teacher and
- 11:20Speaker 6: all the lives she touched, and think of all the
- 11:23Speaker 6: great things she's ever done for you, all the lessons
- 11:27Speaker 6: she talked to you. All the smiles y'all had, Remember
- 11:30Speaker 6: that time Sister Harvey did this, and he started talking
- 11:34Speaker 6: about stuff, and he did about five minutes because he
- 11:36Speaker 6: had been knowing my family our whole life. And he
- 11:39Speaker 6: kept talking about remember when Sister Harvey did this, and
- 11:41Speaker 6: sins Harvey did that. And the next thing I know,
- 11:44Speaker 6: me and my two brothers were smiling. And when he
- 11:47Speaker 6: got through, he said, the reason I wanted to do
- 11:50Speaker 6: that was to teach you a valuable lesson that when
- 11:54Speaker 6: you remember the good times, when you so gratitude and
- 11:57Speaker 6: thankful for all the wonderful time, he said, joy and
- 12:01Speaker 6: depression cannot reside in the same space. Out of the
- 12:07Speaker 6: darkest moment of my life, I learned one of the
- 12:10Speaker 6: most valuable lessons that joy and depression cannot reside in
- 12:14Speaker 6: the same space. So when you wake up and show gratitude,
- 12:19Speaker 6: that thankfulness, that reflecting moment of all that you have,
- 12:24Speaker 6: all that He's done, when you think him for the
- 12:26Speaker 6: simple things, you can't be on the wrong side on
- 12:29Speaker 6: the bed. Your bio rhythms can't be off, you can't
- 12:33Speaker 6: feel whole harm. You just don't no longer feel like
- 12:37Speaker 6: you ain't yourself. What That's what I just wanted to
- 12:42Speaker 6: tell you today.
- 12:43Speaker 2: And that's how we do it.

- 12:49Speaker 6: the South, the legend that is Nephew Tummy and MOI.

- 14:59Speaker 5: right now. Out to be taking you in, but I'm
- 15:01Speaker 5: not gonna do that. Let me if I was able
- 15:04Speaker 5: to come and pick you up, I'll let her come
- 15:05Speaker 5: get you, all right. Although Brian is gonna Officer Bride's
- 15:09Speaker 5: gonna put you in his squad car. I'm gonna call
- 15:11Speaker 5: your wife. I've got the phone. Dollar now, all right, okay.
- 15:16Speaker 11: Hello, Hello?
- 15:18Speaker 5: Who is who am I fuhing with?
- 15:20Speaker 11: Please?
- 15:21Speaker 5: Who is he? This is Officer Daniels, Alfa Daniels.
- 15:26Speaker 11: You just till from this is my husband?
- 15:28Speaker 12: No, but who is who is off of Sadans.
- 15:31Speaker 5: I am Officer daniels Man. Hees your husband's actually being
- 15:33Speaker 5: pulled over and he's been uh, actually he's in another
- 15:38Speaker 5: officer's car. He's uh, he's a little bit inebriated here
- 15:41Speaker 5: and we're trying to see about getting them picked up.
- 15:44Speaker 5: I'm trying my best not to take him in today,
- 15:46Speaker 5: so I'm trying to be a good Samaritan and I'm
- 15:47Speaker 5: trying to get someone to come and pick him up.
- 15:49Speaker 12: Hold on, hold on, hold on, backer Becca, you got
- 15:53Speaker 12: my husband?
- 15:54Speaker 5: Uh, what I got here on the driver's license is
- 15:57Speaker 5: Kenny Kenny, and he's with you now. He's actually an
- 16:00Speaker 5: Officer Brian's squad car right now. So he was actually
- 16:04Speaker 5: uh bobbing and weaving out on the road and we
- 16:07Speaker 5: pulled him over. He's not creating any problems. The young
- 16:10Speaker 5: lady wasn't creating any problems. So what we're trying, what
- 16:13Speaker 5: we're trying to do is get somebody to come and
- 16:14Speaker 5: pick him up.
- 16:15Speaker 12: You have my husband is at work, so he can't
- 16:18Speaker 12: be in no Officer Brian or in your car. And
- 16:21Speaker 12: what that could did you say, Tim again, did you
- 16:23Speaker 12: say somebody was with Kenny there is.
- 16:25Speaker 5: There was a young lady in the car. Man, we're
- 16:27Speaker 5: actually letting her go because she's not inebriated. Uh from
- 16:31Speaker 5: it looks over to somebody, she's calling somebody to pick
- 16:33Speaker 5: her up.
- 16:34Speaker 12: Now, Man, No, I can't believe it, Kenny, I know
- 16:38Speaker 12: that dirt is sof gott no back in my car.
- 16:41Speaker 12: That's my car.
- 16:42Speaker 5: And you said that. He had Officer.
- 16:45Speaker 12: Timid look at that and tell me what she looked like.

- 17:21Speaker 12: Hey, Bridget, I want you to watch these children from
- 17:23Speaker 12: until I get back. I'm going to see if I
- 17:25Speaker 12: can give me a ride up to the truck stop
- 17:26Speaker 12: and I'll be back in a minute.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Hello.
- 17:31Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm here, I'm here.
- 17:34Speaker 12: Yeah, I'm here.

- 17:40Speaker 5: maybe another fifteen to twenty minutes. Somebody come get the car,
- 17:42Speaker 5: and but I gotta keep moving here. I'm just trying
- 17:44Speaker 5: to do a father or I'm on my way.
- 17:48Speaker 11: I'm all my way.
- 17:49Speaker 12: I'm all my way. I got my parents in my hand.
- 17:52Speaker 12: I'm all my way to that truck stop. Please don't
- 17:56Speaker 12: take that somewhere, because I got something from here. And
- 17:59Speaker 12: when I get that, I hope like hell and ain't.
- 18:02Speaker 12: They's been calling me so with me all through the night.
- 18:06Speaker 12: Leave for that time I get there because I got
- 18:08Speaker 12: some things that I need to.
- 18:09Speaker 5: Take care of. This thing.

- 18:18Speaker 5: Well that took my picked up the to.
- 18:21Speaker 12: Day went done. Had arguments over this. It better not
- 18:25Speaker 12: be that. If better not, I bet you, it better
- 18:28Speaker 12: not be her. It better not be her.
- 18:30Speaker 5: I'm on my way.

- 25:50Speaker 6: All y'all went down there asset together. They got a

- 25:57Speaker 2: She don't know.
- 25:58Speaker 6: Women don't need to do that, and they don't like

- 40:08Speaker 6: You don't even see how beautiful the car is. I

- 40:25Speaker 8: really fine, really attractive or okay, or someone that just
- 40:30Speaker 8: has the skills.
- 40:31Speaker 6: No, hell no, you right, you're okay, You're only other
- 40:38Speaker 6: people got skilled.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even cut up about that. You know,
- 40:46Speaker 2: I can't look at you. What is their fault?
- 40:51Speaker 5: All right?
- 40:52Speaker 2: Last one?
- 40:52Speaker 1: Would you rather have smelly feet or smelly armpits?
- 40:55Speaker 2: Feet? I lock them up in a sneaker.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's today's rounded.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Would even nobody? You can't say hi, you can't hoose nobody.
- 41:08Speaker 8: You're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here's a question that
- 41:16Speaker 8: we saw online. Should a daughter spend Father's Day with
- 41:20Speaker 8: her husband or her father?
- 41:22Speaker 2: That is a question.
- 41:23Speaker 8: An older dad wrote in and said, it's been a
- 41:25Speaker 8: long time since I've seen my daughter on Father's Day.
- 41:28Speaker 8: Her husband says she needs to spend Father's Day with him,
- 41:31Speaker 8: the father of her children. My daughter told her husband,
- 41:35Speaker 8: you are not my daddy. Why is my son in
- 41:38Speaker 8: law tripping?
- 41:39Speaker 3: Okay, all right, we have Tommy.
- 41:41Speaker 1: You this situation on Mother's Day?
- 41:43Speaker 8: Yeah, so what you say your thoughts, Steve, Tommy Junior,
- 41:51Speaker 8: don't say, Jenny.
- 41:53Speaker 7: If you could split the day, it would be probably
- 41:56Speaker 7: ideal to please everybody. But I'm going to my pay
- 42:00Speaker 7: ran first. My dad, uh father, my daddy. I don't
- 42:05Speaker 7: really have to see my kids on Father's Day. I
- 42:07Speaker 7: really don't. I see them every day.
- 42:09Speaker 2: So yeah, okay, So.
- 42:17Speaker 13: You wouldn't mind if your daughter was married, You wouldn't
- 42:21Speaker 13: mind her going to be with her husband if they
- 42:23Speaker 13: had kids, versus coming to see you.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Her husband ain't her dad, he's saying the opposite. Yeah, okay, okay, yeah,
- 42:33Speaker 2: you getting mad to let me back husband ain't her dad.
- 42:39Speaker 6: I'm sorry I was still but see, that's the problem
- 42:42Speaker 6: with the letter, because the husband, who is the father
- 42:46Speaker 6: of their children is mad at her for wanting to
- 42:49Speaker 6: go spend it with her daddy.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Which you're selfish of him.
- 42:53Speaker 6: Yes, yes to this, because bro, if you the father,
- 42:56Speaker 6: didn't spend it, spend the time with your kids. You know,
- 43:01Speaker 6: if you're gonna have that argument and let her go
- 43:03Speaker 6: see her daddy, you don't knock him out of his honor,
- 43:06Speaker 6: so you can just have an honor yourself. That's that's ridiculous.
- 43:12Speaker 6: You hang with your kids and let her go see
- 43:14Speaker 6: her daddy.
- 43:15Speaker 8: But it sounds like in this situation of someone's gonna
- 43:18Speaker 8: be mad either the husband or the dad.
- 43:21Speaker 6: Come on, man, you got a man up on this one.
- 43:24Speaker 6: Let her go see her daddy. You don't know how
- 43:27Speaker 6: many more of them she got right with her? Can't
- 43:30Speaker 6: They just being selfish and in considerate?
- 43:33Speaker 2: He is a father. If it wasn't for this man,
- 43:35Speaker 2: you don't even had his wife.
- 43:36Speaker 6: Though, we'll still be found in the evening. She ain't
- 43:38Speaker 6: gonna be gone. That long she lived with you is
- 43:42Speaker 6: one day?
- 43:43Speaker 2: Listen to me, Father's Day at that bigger deal? No way,
- 43:46Speaker 2: let's stop. Yes it is, yes, No, it ain't a
- 43:49Speaker 2: little ragged holiday, y'all. Just a matter of fact. No
- 43:56Speaker 2: fall fuck canceling. Why he didn't call? He didn't? He didn't?
- 44:04Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, Tommy, Yeah, wait man, let me ask you.
- 44:10Speaker 13: This Father's Day is a big deal. We will celebrate
- 44:14Speaker 13: you a wonderful dad. You're wonder got on a big deal, Tommy.
- 44:18Speaker 13: And what do you want for Father's Day?
- 44:23Speaker 9: Go say nothing about JR. I've just been doing this
- 44:27Speaker 9: by three years.
- 44:28Speaker 2: I'm I don't.
- 44:29Speaker 9: I have not seen nothing, so I see what Steve Saint.
- 44:32Speaker 2: I ain't what you're saying.
- 44:34Speaker 1: You don't get gifts, You don't get.
- 44:35Speaker 2: What I got?
- 44:39Speaker 9: Step in front of mine? What are you talking about?
- 44:42Speaker 2: Step Daddy?
- 44:45Speaker 9: They father's I got step in here.
- 44:48Speaker 7: This is not.
- 44:51Speaker 2: What man?
- 44:55Speaker 1: But all right, okay, all I get What are you expecting?
- 45:01Speaker 2: I just get the same thing I get.
- 45:03Speaker 3: What are you expecting?
- 45:04Speaker 2: What would you like? Nothing? I'm not gonna get nothing.
- 45:08Speaker 3: You know why.
- 45:09Speaker 2: But I don't know what to get you. You got everything.
- 45:11Speaker 2: That's the same wine ask you every year.
- 45:15Speaker 8: Give them some suggestions. You do have everything. Sometimes people
- 45:20Speaker 8: do struggle getting you stuff.
- 45:22Speaker 2: My oldest boy gave me a card in Spanish's on
- 45:24Speaker 2: the dollar store? What kind off I can't read dollar
- 45:37Speaker 2: sto at least?

- 48:44Speaker 11: No, because I don't need freedom I'm free, Sir.
- 48:47Speaker 5: I don't think you quite understand. Do you understand that

- 49:19Speaker 5: on a on a particular farm with a lot of
- 49:22Speaker 5: people who don't have their papers. If you haven't gotten

- 49:54Speaker 11: How you get my number? Anyway?
- 49:57Speaker 5: Sir? We have a list of numbers of people that

- 50:36Speaker 5: actually buy freedom papers from us, so they don't have
- 50:40Speaker 5: to be if they're if they're if they ever get captured,
- 50:43Speaker 5: then what can happen is is that they can show
- 50:46Speaker 5: their papers and not have to deal with the problems that.

- 56:36Speaker 8: Thank you nephew. Subject I went home in his shirt.
- 56:40Speaker 8: He's Stephen Shirley. I'm fifty two years old and I've
- 56:42Speaker 8: been married twenty two years to my best friend. We
- 56:46Speaker 8: have a twenty year old son that's living at home
- 56:48Speaker 8: while he's in college. I let him use my car
- 56:51Speaker 8: a lot because he's trying to get through school without
- 56:54Speaker 8: a car.
- 56:54Speaker 2: Note.
- 56:54Speaker 8: I'm a regional rep for a healthcare company and I
- 56:57Speaker 8: do site visits twice a week. Male coworker has to
- 57:01Speaker 8: go with me for safety reasons. I've been partnered with
- 57:04Speaker 8: the same guy for three years and he's newly single,
- 57:08Speaker 8: so he's been vulnerable.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Lately.
- 57:10Speaker 8: He's really opened up to me about a lot of
- 57:13Speaker 8: things in his life, and that made me open up.
- 57:15Speaker 1: To him too.
- 57:16Speaker 8: I told him things that I should only tell my
- 57:19Speaker 8: best girlfriend or my husband. Deep into one of our conversations,
- 57:23Speaker 8: I told a guy that I have never had the
- 57:26Speaker 8: Big OH with my husband. He could not believe it,
- 57:30Speaker 8: and his eyes lit up when he said he was
- 57:33Speaker 8: going to make sure I experienced the Big Oh. From
- 57:36Speaker 8: then on, he couldn't keep his hands off me when
- 57:39Speaker 8: I rode with him. I began wearing sexy underwear and
- 57:42Speaker 8: new perfume to work. I told my son I needed
- 57:45Speaker 8: a car Tuesday so I could drive and my coworker
- 57:49Speaker 8: could work his magic.
- 57:50Speaker 1: As I drove, it got so good I pulled up
- 57:53Speaker 1: behind the mall and we got in the back seat.
- 57:56Speaker 8: His hands and other skills are so magnificent that my
- 58:00Speaker 8: vision was blurry. Afterwards, he made a big mess, and
- 58:03Speaker 8: I couldn't go home like that, so I got a
- 58:06Speaker 8: shirt from my son's gym bag and I went home.
- 58:10Speaker 8: Of all the days for my husband and my son
- 58:13Speaker 8: to be in the kitchen. When I walk in, my
- 58:16Speaker 8: son recognized his shirt and my husband asked what happened
- 58:19Speaker 8: to my blouse and jacket I had on when I
- 58:22Speaker 8: left the house. I didn't have a lie prepared. The
- 58:26Speaker 8: guy is getting my blouse cleaned, so I don't have it.
- 58:29Speaker 8: My husband has been side eyeing me every day.
- 58:33Speaker 2: What do I do? What do you do? What do
- 58:36Speaker 2: you do?
- 58:37Speaker 1: That's what you're asking.
- 58:38Speaker 8: I mean, this is just one of those classic cases
- 58:41Speaker 8: of asking Steve and I for help to fix a problem.
- 58:43Speaker 8: After the fact, you do realize you created this mess, right,
- 58:48Speaker 8: This didn't have to go down like this, but because
- 58:50Speaker 8: of you it did. But but what gets me is
- 58:54Speaker 8: how easy this was really easy for you to just
- 58:57Speaker 8: cheat on your husband. All this man did was say
- 59:00Speaker 8: he could help you get the big O cut to
- 59:03Speaker 8: you guys in the back seat in back of the
- 59:05Speaker 8: mall getting busy in the car.
- 59:08Speaker 3: I mean, huh.
- 59:11Speaker 8: You should be grateful that your husband is only giving
- 59:13Speaker 8: you the side eye right now because you gambled with
- 59:16Speaker 8: your marriage and this could have ended quite differently, I
- 59:19Speaker 8: mean a whole lot differently.
- 59:20Speaker 1: What should you do you?
- 59:21Speaker 8: First of all, I mean, you should stop playing in
- 59:24Speaker 8: the back seat with your coworker. I mean that's obvious.
- 59:28Speaker 8: You're having a full blown affair with this man.
- 59:30Speaker 1: Do you realize this?
- 59:32Speaker 8: If you want your coworker, who you say is so
- 59:34Speaker 8: skillful and magnificent, put your husband out of his misery
- 59:38Speaker 8: and get a divorce, and then you can have all
- 59:40Speaker 8: the big o's you know that your heart desires.
- 59:43Speaker 6: Steve Sureleye, you know your insensitivity in this letter kind
- 59:50Speaker 6: of threw me a little bit, you think, but I'm
- 59:52Speaker 6: gonna bring it home back. You think I'm insensitive ohensitive
- 59:57Speaker 6: to this woman.
- 59:59Speaker 2: No, but see, first of all, she's fifty two. She
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: been married twenty two years to my best friend. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: see he need to be more than that. Now, there
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: we go. We got a twenty year old son living
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: at home.
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: You let him use your call the time because he
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: want to get through college without a car. Note your
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: regional rep at a healthcare company, you got to do
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: site visits and for safety purposes, they tell you got
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: to travel with a male.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: And then y'all been partnering with.
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: The same guy for three years. Three years now he's
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: newly single. Now hit a party in the letter where
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: it takes a turn. So he's been vulnerable lately. What
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: you know, when you say a man is vulnerable.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: What do that mean? He's newly single, So he's been
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: vulnerable lately. Why poor baby? See right there? What it's
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: always some woman feeling sorry for some man somewhere. He
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: need a help. He going through something. They broke up.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: He's single. You don't even know why he's single.
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: He's really opened up to me about a lot of
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: things in his life, and that made me open up
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: to him too.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: Now wait a minute, now, either.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: You vulnerable or he vulnerable?
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: Because starting to sound like, is you the one that's vulnerable?
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: I told him things I really should have just told
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: my girlfriend or my husband. Well, deep into the conversation,
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: she told the guy that, Shirley, hear where you had
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: a problem. You said it was too easy, She said,
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: I've never had the big old with my husband.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Shirley, you said that was just too easy. All you
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: needed was the big old.
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: Well, if you fitty to it, you ain't ever had one.
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: I think that, Oh is pretty important.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Oh you need that old.
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: And when you said you couldn't have it, his eyes
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: lit up and said, I'm gonna make sure you experience
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: the big old you know, because I'm vulnerable right now
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: because I'm newly single and you've been telling me all
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: this stuff, and now you've told me that. I'm assuming
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: you must be telling me that because my job as
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: a man is to fix things. So now let me
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: fix you. Having not twenty two years married to your
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: best friend, You're gonna have to be my best something
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: for us to stay married this long, and it ain't
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: gonna be friends. I'm gonna tell you that right now.
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: You got to be the better something twenty years. Then
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: you gotta be good or something else to be and
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: my friend.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: All right, all that thought, end this stuff for twenty
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: two years. All that thought, Steve.
- 1:02:53Speaker 8: Of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: the hour subject for today's Strawberry letter, I want home
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: and his shirt. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Think about the people
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: who mean the most to you. Giving them valuable protection
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: is a great gift you can offer, and Globe Life
- 1:03:18Speaker 8: Insurance can make it easy. With Globelife coverage, there's no
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: medical exam, just a simple application. Take this step for
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: the people you love called globe Life at one eight
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: hundred two five one fifty four hundred, or visit globelifradio
- 1:03:32Speaker 8: dot com. That's one eight hundred two five one fifty
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: four hundred or globelifradio dot com. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: let's recap today's strawberry letter. I went home in his shirt.
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: Wellma, fIF two years old. Been going to work with
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: this co worker for three years for safety reasons. He's
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: newly single, so they started sharing some information. Her son
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: is in college, use this car a lot, and so
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: that's important information for late on. They got to talk.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: The man is newly single, so she said he's vulnerable.
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: He started opening up, telling me everything about his life.
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: Then she was vulnerable too because she been married to
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: her best friend for twenty two years. Didn't say he
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: was the best at nothing else, just the best friend.
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: He's gonna need to be good at something else for
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: me to stay with you this. No, let me tell
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: you that right now. Anyway, they got to talking and
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: she told her dude that she had never had the
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: big old with her husband.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: That's twenty two years.
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: So he, being the fixer that he is, said I'm
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: gonna make sure you have the big old and from
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: then on he couldn't keep his hands off me. Well,
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: from then on you didn't want his hands off me. See,
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: man just can't stop grabbing you unless you let him.
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: When I rode with him, he couldn't keep his hands
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: off me. I begin wearing sexy underwear, new perfume to work.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: I told my son I needed the car Tuesday so
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: I could drive and my coworker could work his magic
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: as I drove. Now, that's dangerous. You try and have
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: os big olds while you driving. That's wrong, And tell
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: your car I'm doing you right now, got to pull
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: that car over. That ain't what you want to do
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: while you driving. BLUs you know, seem to me like
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: you need to be able to focus to get there anyway,
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: But now you're driving, you just can't.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: God, you just can't do that while you're driving. You
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: just can't blurt out.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Oh, that's what we're doing right now.
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: You need to be pulled over. So I beg and
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: going to cowork so he could work his magic. He
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: got so good. I pulled up behind the mall and
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: we got in the back seat. His hands and other
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: skills are so magnificent that my vision was blurry. That's good. Now,
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: that's really good. When it's happening like that. When you
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: can't see good, well, when you when you can't see good,
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: that's that's well, that's a that's a good one. Eyes
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: all in the back of your head. Yeah, I've had
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: one before.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: That was so good. I could my eyes rolled so
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: far back. I was looking at my brain.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Okay, see what I was sharing over sharing, sir?
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I saw how my brain worked. I had
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: never seen it.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Look, will you use it right now and stop?
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Please? Okay?
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: Anyway, So he made a big mess, and I couldn't
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: go home like that. So I got a shirt from
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: my son's gym bag and I went home. Of all
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: the days, my husband and my son to be in
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: the kitchen when I walk in. My son recognized his shirt,
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: and my husband asked, what happened to my blouse and
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: jacket I had on when I left the house.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: I didn't have a lie prepare right here, let's stop,
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: this is where I come in at what happened to
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: my jacket and blouse?
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: He said, I, And you said, I didn't have a
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: live prepared see right there, you got to see it.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: I don't have to have one prepared ready. All I
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: had to do is have one.
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: Like what.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: What happened to my shirt and blouse? I stopped at Windy's.
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: And when the lady was handing me my stuff through
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: the window, it's spilled the drink catch up, and I
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: don't know, the cheese machine in the back shot cheese
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: all over my jacket. And I didn't even know they
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: had a cheese machine. Have you ever seen a cheese
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: machine at Wendy's? What cheese machine?
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: YEA into your car?
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: It was all in the carpet. So I've been down
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: there wiping stuff off. And when I was at the
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: car wash, trying to wipe this stuff off so it
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: wouldn't get stuck because you know, I know, I know,
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: Junior needed to drive the car to work and I
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: don't want your cheeseing now.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: And I got my messed up.
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: And when I was vacuuming the cow, my blouse got
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: caught in the vacuum and sucked my blouse right off my.
- 1:08:27Speaker 10: Brow.
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: Now I got everybody confused because now, first of all,
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: the vacuum sucked your blouse off.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: I got them confused about that.
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: But I really got them confused because they're trying to.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: Figure out where that cheese machine.
- 1:08:42Speaker 9: That is that that windy.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: Dash? Why the best lie always.
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: Has uh you know, the best lie always has an
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: element of truth to it. So and I threw them
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: off anyway, Yes you have. The guy is getting my
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: blouse cleaned, so I don't have it.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: No, see that.
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: You don't ever bring that blouse back in the house.
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: Let that blouse be a Your husband ain't gonna remember
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: which one you had on. No way, you could just
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: tell him, oh, here it is and sender es get
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: back now. My husband has been side eyeing me every day.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: What do I do? Nothing? You can't do nothing.
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: First of all, you don't know how to lie. So
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: whatever gonna happen, you gonna happen until you start lying.
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: Wait what until you start lying, your life is forever
- 1:09:35Speaker 6: jacked up.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: So that's your message for her today.

- 1:11:43Speaker 7: Again?
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: A hotel?
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: That sounds like a reality show, my wife, but the
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Hilton hotel?
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: I was like, whoa that was? It was a good
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: that's good, A very good investment.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Though I can't she didn't even ask you.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: You guess what I bought to that? Yeah, I'm home.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: Most people.
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: Most people said, yeah, I bought some shoes and some
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: stuff that we got. We ain't on a Hilton?
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: What Hilton?
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: Yep? Did you guys have an argument about that? Did
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: you argue that running by you?
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: It was kind of.
- 1:12:27Speaker 7: I swallowed that, and we're not doing that ever again.
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: I've been I come home in a couple of weeks
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: and now she didn't you know, we got to share
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: it to now. I don't want to hear that else.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: I don't want you know.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: You ain't doing this twice. But you were cool with
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: it the first time.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: I just I like the investment. I wasn't mad at it,
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: but but yeah, that was a bit.
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: She can do it again.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Just okay, okay, all right, Junior, come.
- 1:12:50Speaker 10: On, I get what Timmy coming from. You know, because
- 1:12:53Speaker 10: you know she didn't even discuss this with me. Nothing,
- 1:12:56Speaker 10: you're okay. I mean it's not a Hilton and nothing
- 1:12:59Speaker 10: like that. But she came home with a wedding photo
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: that was four hundred dollars. Say, hey, hey, hey, hey hey,
- 1:13:06Speaker 10: you spent four hundred on a picture that looked of
- 1:13:08Speaker 10: us without discussing it.
- 1:13:14Speaker 9: Right, I showed it. I showed the yall and Steve
- 1:13:17Speaker 9: said it was life size. This is what you took
- 1:13:19Speaker 9: out money and did with it. I'm not I don't trust.
- 1:13:22Speaker 9: I don't trust her financial decisions.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: No, this is us.
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: This is us.
- 1:13:27Speaker 9: And how you get to pick the picture?
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Well, don't want to see yourself? Life signed see myself.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: I'll look at myself when I brush my teeth. I
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: don't like to see a picture.
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: That's that.
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: Check with your spouse. And you want to buy big
- 1:13:43Speaker 8: ticket items, That's what I got out of the right. Fine, yes,
- 1:13:48Speaker 8: unless you're spending it on your wife. All right, you're
- 1:13:50Speaker 8: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: here we go. This one is from Shanisia and Clarksville, Enisia. Right, so,
- 1:14:01Speaker 8: I'm thirty one years old and my brother set me
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: up on a date with a guy he works with.
- 1:14:06Speaker 8: The guy is thirty seven and divorced, and it seems
- 1:14:09Speaker 8: like he's either with me as a favorite to my
- 1:14:11Speaker 8: brother or until he finds someone else to date. He
- 1:14:14Speaker 8: called me yesterday and said I was so bored, so
- 1:14:18Speaker 8: I decided to see what you're up to. Now we've
- 1:14:20Speaker 8: only been dating three months. Am I just something to do?
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: Or does he not know how to talk to a woman?
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: Well, either way, what you're sticking around to find out for?
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: If you just something to do or he don't know
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: how to talk to a woman, what you in that
- 1:14:36Speaker 6: one for? Because either one it ain't gonna lead to
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: nothing good for you?
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: Right Yeah?
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: I mean, look, if he don't know how to talk
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: to a woman, what you need to stop talking because
- 1:14:45Speaker 6: you're gonna be a woman pretty much?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Yeah? Right, yep.
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: So I don't see what else going and then you
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: are just something to do? I was bored, so I
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: just called see what you're doing. No, that's not that
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: You're not the one you say that to people. You
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: don't care nothing about it, and you don't care how
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: they feel.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Lead here there right, that's terrible.
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: It's crazy. That don't make no sense, you know. And
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: you said it looks like he's doing it as a
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: favor to your brother. You want to be somebody's favor.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Man, man, would you take my sister out? She's single?
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: What man?
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: I'd have been on blind dates, you know, played wing
- 1:15:24Speaker 6: man for some partners back in the day. Showed up
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: and the girlfriend wasn't all that, but she was a
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: nice girl. So we set there, enjoyed each other, had
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: a nice time that even I was pleasant. We laughed
- 1:15:35Speaker 6: and everything. But this ain't going nowhere. Nothing is sitting
- 1:15:37Speaker 6: nowhere with you by myself.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Going on over here. Got no time for this.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: But you didn't tell her that.
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: Hell, it was nice to you know, traded numbers and
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: talked and stuff, laugh, but they ain't go nowhere and
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: you were never moves or nothing.
- 1:15:58Speaker 10: Doing.
- 1:15:58Speaker 15: We ain't doing that, right, that's his attitude, which is
- 1:16:03Speaker 15: horrible to Tom Cruise is in it, you know, all right,
- 1:16:07Speaker 15: I think we have time for one more.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Steve.
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: This is from Kandas and Shreveport. Kenna says, my family
- 1:16:12Speaker 8: had a cookout. Last weekend, my brother's girlfriend brought her
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: twelve year old twins. The twins dad came to pick
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: them up, and my brother's girlfriend told them to fix
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: a plate for their dad. I told her that he
- 1:16:23Speaker 8: couldn't have a plate, and she cursed me out. My
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: brother didn't defend me. Why did he allow her ex
- 1:16:28Speaker 8: to get a plate?
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: Anybody? Well, I mean just some food?
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Yeah, what is the big deal?
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I really don't. You're gonna make him
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: a plate? Twins? Daddy, he's still a good father.
- 1:16:46Speaker 13: You know.
- 1:16:46Speaker 6: If your brother didn't have a problem with him getting
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: a plate, then why you have a problem with him?
- 1:16:51Speaker 6: You know, which explains why you buy yourself anyway.
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you had to barbecue for huh, this is barbecue?
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that was a lot.
- 1:17:05Speaker 8: But she didn't get cursed out though by the brother's
- 1:17:08Speaker 8: girl to a boy.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: The mama's the twins, Mama.
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: He ain't coming to every event, he ain't doing.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: That, just picked the kids up. Well, maybe she thought
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: she should have checked with her could he have a plate?
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Maybe that was we don't do no plates in here.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Maybe because she didn't ask, she just said, pict your
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: daddy a plate. He didn't contribute, so he can't.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Check that pot. I don't know what y'all thank y'all
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: doing it is.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: What do you think, Steve?
- 1:17:43Speaker 8: Was she mad that she just said fixed the plate
- 1:17:45Speaker 8: and she didn't know she didn't ask first.
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: Well, that probably was it. I mean, it's just some
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: people like that though, people don't share. But I don't
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: know why she got a problem with the dudes, you know,
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: the dude picking up the twins, you know, can he
- 1:18:01Speaker 6: have a plate and sue? First of all, the dude,
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: I don't want no food from my exes, you, boyfriend
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: and sister house.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: I don't want you.
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: I don't want I don't want nobody making that plate
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: banging it out to me. Right, I'm plus, I've just
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: never been that way. I don't even know these people.
- 1:18:20Speaker 6: I don't eat strangers food, right, never.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: All right, coming up in twenty minutes after the.

- 1:25:25Speaker 8: Time for Steve's closing remarks.
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: Okay, today Tommy sent me something, send me a caption
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: that I'm gonna keep because I oftentimes keep quotes in
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: my motivational folder in my photo stream, and I just
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: look at them from time to time when I'm feeling
- 1:25:46Speaker 6: a certain kind of ways. Sometimes I just need a
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: little uplift myself, you know, And Tommy sent me this today.
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: Then I'm gonna share it with you, and it's gonna
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: cause me to expound on it a bit because it's
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: something I.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: Really do believe in.
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: It says, do not ask God to guide your footsteps
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: if you're not willing to move your feet.
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: Do not ask God to guide your footsteps if you're
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: not willing to move your feet. You know, folks, it's
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: very simple.
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: God can put his finger on something to bless if
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: you give him something to put his finger on.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: But you can't. You can't ask God to do something,
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: and you're making no effort. Lord, help me get a job,
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: but you ain't putting in no applications.
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: Lord, help me do right. But all you ever want
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: to do is wrong. You're just committed to wrong. You know,
- 1:26:47Speaker 6: you got to make a move in the right direction.
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: You know, faith without works is dead. So what Tommy
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: sent me? Do not ask God to guide your footsteps
- 1:26:57Speaker 6: if you're not willing to move your feet something all
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: of us, and all of us are guilty of it.
- 1:27:02Speaker 6: From time to time, sometimes we get complacent. Sometimes we
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: just get to feel inside for ourselves. You know, Oh man,
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: I guess it ain't meant to be.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: Oh Lord, what not?
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: You know?
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: Look, man, you can complain your way through life if
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: you want to, but you really have to make an
- 1:27:19Speaker 6: attitude adjustment. You got to get two things moving, your
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: attitude and your feet. Those two things have to get moving.
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: You gotta start taking steps. You may not know the
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: weight how to get to the finish line, but the
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: finish line is somewhere. It ain't where you at. The
- 1:27:38Speaker 6: finish line is never where you're standing. So you gotta
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: start taking some steps. And once again, you may not
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: know all the steps necessary to get to the tape,
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: but you gotta start the process.
- 1:27:50Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: So, like the caption says, stop asking God to guide
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: your footsteps.
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: If you ain't willing to move your feet, you got
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: to put it into more.
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: Look, it's just a dream when you're thinking about it,
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: but you gotta put some You gotta put your dreams
- 1:28:09Speaker 6: to work. Motivation is when your dreams put on work clothes.
- 1:28:16Speaker 6: You gotta take your dreams and put work clothes on them. Man,
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: you gotta start stepping in the right direction. You've got
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: to make a move towards the light. You've got to
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: step towards the finished line. You've got to start to
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: get the way you're trying to get to.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: You gotta get to go. You gotta go to get period.
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: You cannot stay that wherever you're trying to get. You
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: can't be right where you at. It can't be. It
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: can't be. I give you. Look, this is this is
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: a silly example. But let's say your family reunion.
- 1:28:52Speaker 5: Is in.
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: Wyoming, which I know is not. That's why I said,
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: And you drive to Wyoming.
- 1:29:04Speaker 6: When you get to Wyoming, and you reach Wyoming, the
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: state of Wyoming, you still got to do.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: Something because.
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: Where is the family reunion at? It just can't go
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: to Wyoming. Well, I'm here, Lord, you hear you? Where
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: even when you get the way you say you going,
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: you got to move around. Let's say you get to
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: the park where you're.
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: Holding the family reunion. And you get to the park.
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: Once you get to the park, but what you gotta
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: do something.
- 1:29:39Speaker 6: You're gonna play softball, volleyball, You're gonna sit down on
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: the tree, play domino, You're gonna barbecue, you gonna make
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: the lemonade. You constantly gotta be doing something. There is
- 1:29:48Speaker 6: no when you get there, you there, and there is
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: no more movement required. There's a movement required throughout your life,
- 1:29:54Speaker 6: because wherever you're trying to get to it ain't where
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: you at. I can promise you that it's never where
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: you at. I'm doing very well in my life. It
- 1:30:04Speaker 6: ain't where I'm going. How would I be just I'm
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: here now?
- 1:30:09Speaker 5: This it, this, it what.
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: No more dreams, Steve, no more visions. You want nothing
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: else you here, This it for you. And it doesn't
- 1:30:21Speaker 6: matter me that people look at me and go, man,
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: you got all this. I don't even see what you're
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: tripping for. I ain't tripping. I just want to be
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: more than I am. I'm really trying to be a
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: better person. I really really am. I'm not content with
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: the person I am. I could improve. I could actually
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: be a better person. So I'm in the process. God
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: ain't through with me yet, He working on me. I'm trying.
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: I'm better than I used to be, but I'm still
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: got my feet moving. So I'm asking God to guide
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: my steps. But I got my feet moving. Man, stop
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: asking God to guide your footsteps. If you ain't willing
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: to move, your feet can't happen.
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: It's what you want.
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: Come on, man, stop that you're being unreasonable to God.
- 1:31:09Speaker 6: Guide in your footstep and moving your feet down the path.
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: That's two different things you got.
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: To do that.
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: You make one step, he'll make two. So if you
- 1:31:18Speaker 6: don't make the one, you cannot expect him to make
- 1:31:22Speaker 6: the two. He can touch you and bless you, but
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: you got to give him something to bless you. Gotta
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: do something. Case, sit in the house watching TV.
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: Stop asking God to guide your footsteps. If you're not
- 1:31:35Speaker 6: willing to move your feet.
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: Thank you, Tom. That was my closing the mom Alright, y'all,
