- 1:29Speaker 6: You have to turn the mouth, the turn you probably
- 1:43Speaker 6: got to turn mouth, turn out water the water.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Looking.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:04Speaker 7: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now, One and only.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Steve Harvey man oh man, got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 2: I do.
- 2:13Speaker 7: God so big to me, man, I just have to
- 2:16Speaker 7: tell you about it. I can't help it. It's rather
- 2:19Speaker 7: obvious to me how big, how good God is. He's
- 2:23Speaker 7: absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain. He owned one, he'd
- 2:30Speaker 7: be clowning, he'd be just showing out.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Man.
- 2:34Speaker 7: I'm just over here, just on the receiving end. You know,
- 2:38Speaker 7: if you're out there, start your mission today, Start your
- 2:43Speaker 7: mission today? What are you waiting for? Why do we
- 2:49Speaker 7: as people delay what we want or delay the process
- 2:58Speaker 7: to begin what we want on our hopes, our dreams,
- 3:02Speaker 7: our desires. Why won't you start your mission today? Why
- 3:06Speaker 7: don't we all decide together that just individually. Look you listening.
- 3:13Speaker 7: You got something that you've been dreaming about. You got
- 3:16Speaker 7: an ambition of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got
- 3:19Speaker 7: goals you haven't accomplished yet. Everybody has them. Everybody's got them.
- 3:25Speaker 7: Everybody's got something that's on the table that they haven't
- 3:29Speaker 7: yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start your
- 3:33Speaker 7: mission today? Stop the procrastination. Now, the procrastination is only
- 3:38Speaker 7: hurting you yourself. If you got a goal of aspiration
- 3:43Speaker 7: to dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 3:47Speaker 7: get back to that because God knows where you left off.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Now.
- 3:52Speaker 7: You may have to accomplish a few more things since
- 3:54Speaker 7: you stopped for a long period of time, but God
- 3:56Speaker 7: know where you left off. You can get back on track. Look, man,
- 4:00Speaker 7: this dream of being on TV since I was a kid,
- 4:03Speaker 7: and it got off track. Now it got off track.
- 4:07Speaker 7: I just kept it as one of the dreams, and
- 4:10Speaker 7: in some real dog moments when it looked like it
- 4:13Speaker 7: wasn't gonna happen, all I was hanging on to was
- 4:16Speaker 7: just the hope that one day it could. But that's
- 4:19Speaker 7: what faith is really about. Faith is the belief in
- 4:23Speaker 7: things that you cannot see but faith gives you the confidence.
- 4:27Speaker 2: To keep hoping.
- 4:28Speaker 7: Man. Sometimes it just keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard
- 4:32Speaker 7: Jesse Jackson say it, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man,
- 4:36Speaker 7: it's just the hope. I was hanging on a hope.
- 4:40Speaker 7: And I'm talking about when it got real ugly and
- 4:43Speaker 7: funky out there for me, when it looked like I
- 4:46Speaker 7: wasn't gonna ever make it, and all of the facts
- 4:49Speaker 7: was in and everything pointed in the direction you not
- 4:52Speaker 7: gonna make it. You done really messed up this time.
- 4:56Speaker 7: Then I sat there and I just hung on to
- 4:58Speaker 7: the hope. But man, that's what I'm saying. If you
- 5:03Speaker 7: got a dream on aspiration or vision or something, when
- 5:06Speaker 7: you fall off track and you want to go get
- 5:09Speaker 7: back in line, God holds your place.
- 5:12Speaker 2: See. He held on to that for me.
- 5:15Speaker 7: He knew I was off tracking, out of line, but
- 5:17Speaker 7: he said, Okay, here's where we stopped. You want to
- 5:20Speaker 7: be on TV. Now, when you get it together and
- 5:22Speaker 7: you quit tripping and you come and your turn to me,
- 5:24Speaker 7: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line.
- 5:26Speaker 7: Then we're gonna finish the journey that took me a
- 5:28Speaker 7: lot longer to get here than I wanted to, but
- 5:31Speaker 7: then it was necessary because I needed all of them
- 5:34Speaker 7: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 5:36Speaker 7: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 5:38Speaker 7: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 5:41Speaker 7: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 5:44Speaker 7: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Now I
- 5:46Speaker 7: have stories to tell, I got experiences to share, and
- 5:52Speaker 7: I can tell you about me better I can tell
- 5:54Speaker 7: you about anybody. And I done been through enough whereas relatable,
- 5:59Speaker 7: where enough people can go. Man, that happened to me.
- 6:01Speaker 7: Appreciate you saying that that's what it was for. See,
- 6:04Speaker 7: I get it now. See at the time, no, I
- 6:07Speaker 7: didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,
- 6:10Speaker 7: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
- 6:12Speaker 7: lot of stuff He was pulling off on me, But
- 6:15Speaker 7: in essence, I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 6:18Speaker 7: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 6:21Speaker 7: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 6:26Speaker 7: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 6:30Speaker 7: there and did wrong. He forgave me, he said, because man,
- 6:35Speaker 7: if you ever come to me. I have a plan
- 6:38Speaker 7: for you that is going to be far and above.
- 6:42Speaker 7: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 6:46Speaker 7: I did. I just got sick of me, good and
- 6:49Speaker 7: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 6:52Speaker 7: And then God started working and here I am today.
- 6:56Speaker 7: Now he threw it me Yet Nope, I have jet Nope.
- 7:01Speaker 7: But guess what the journey is cool?
- 7:05Speaker 4: You know.
- 7:05Speaker 7: It's like I was talking to this young brother the
- 7:07Speaker 7: other day about comedy. He's a really good stand up.
- 7:11Speaker 7: You know, this young dude is really good. He said, Man,
- 7:14Speaker 7: what is this I feel every night before I go
- 7:17Speaker 7: on stage. I don't know what it is. I just
- 7:20Speaker 7: want it off me, I said, sir, listen to me,
- 7:23Speaker 7: you young dude. This thing that climbs on my back
- 7:27Speaker 7: every night before I go on stage. I don't know
- 7:29Speaker 7: what it is. It's got something to do with pressure,
- 7:33Speaker 7: It's got something to do with anticipation. It's got a
- 7:36Speaker 7: whole lot to do with the fear of falling. He said,
- 7:39Speaker 7: what you mean by that? I said, every night I
- 7:41Speaker 7: walk out on stage, it's like I'm about to go
- 7:44Speaker 7: and step off of cliff. I say, it's a sickening feeling.
- 7:48Speaker 7: He said, man, but you do so well. I said,
- 7:50Speaker 7: that's because the parachute opens. I say, but I want
- 7:53Speaker 7: you to understand something. When I first walk out there,
- 7:56Speaker 7: it's just stepping off the cliff. Now, these yoaks provide
- 8:00Speaker 7: a parachute which slows my descent when I jump off
- 8:05Speaker 7: the cliff, and I turned it into a glide. And
- 8:08Speaker 7: then I take the audience this way, and I swung
- 8:11Speaker 7: them back over to that way. We might swing out
- 8:13Speaker 7: to the Colorado Rockies. We may go down to Miami
- 8:17Speaker 7: with this joke. We may take it on out to
- 8:19Speaker 7: LA and I just swing back and forth till I
- 8:21Speaker 7: land softly. The crowd cheers. The night is over with,
- 8:25Speaker 7: I said, but it's been too many nights though. When
- 8:27Speaker 7: I walked off that cliff and I pulled the cord
- 8:30Speaker 7: and the parachute didn't open, I said, Now I'm just
- 8:33Speaker 7: free falling out there for thirty minutes. Ain't no jokes working,
- 8:36Speaker 7: Ain't the parachute didn't open? I said, so see, that's
- 8:40Speaker 7: what it's like for me. And then you know what
- 8:43Speaker 7: I found out. If you done walked off the cliff
- 8:45Speaker 7: in life, and you ain't got no guard in your life,
- 8:49Speaker 7: It's like not having a parachute. You step off the
- 8:52Speaker 7: cliff and you just free falling. Now see we all
- 8:57Speaker 7: now that fog gets you closer to the grave, right,
- 9:00Speaker 7: We all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.
- 9:02Speaker 7: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 9:05Speaker 7: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 9:08Speaker 7: here a parachute. You still going down, but it's a
- 9:12Speaker 7: nice ride, and God just helps your descent appear more
- 9:16Speaker 7: like a rise and more like a euphoric fall, instead
- 9:20Speaker 7: of not having no God in your life and you
- 9:23Speaker 7: just walking off that cliff every day, free falling.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Ain't got no cord, you.
- 9:28Speaker 7: Steady pulling, you hollering the whole way because you to
- 9:31Speaker 7: mess around with yourself, and ain't let God come into
- 9:34Speaker 7: your life and provide.
- 9:35Speaker 2: A parachute for you.
- 9:37Speaker 7: I would rather have a parachute since I got to
- 9:40Speaker 7: jump every day than to not have one. God has
- 9:44Speaker 7: been like a parachute for me. Ask me where that
- 9:48Speaker 7: came from. I can't tell you. But like I always say,
- 9:52Speaker 7: most good things that happen in my life that I
- 9:54Speaker 7: can't explain is usually him.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Morning show, ladies and gentlemen, let me. Have your attention. Please.
- 10:06Speaker 7: What I'm about to do is start something. And it's

- 12:20Speaker 3: You you, you are on the phone.
- 12:25Speaker 2: You're an accessory. Surely if you was a rapper doing
- 12:30Speaker 2: a rap battle.
- 12:31Speaker 4: You the one.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Killing people?
- 12:36Speaker 2: Oh god, yeah, slaying.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Okay, it was an oversight, sit up Tommy.

- 15:48Speaker 11: Yeah, okay, do do your husband's last fold digits on

- 16:50Speaker 4: Now.
- 16:51Speaker 11: You say, if you're saying he don't work, then evidently
- 16:54Speaker 11: it must be doing the day while you gone or
- 16:56Speaker 11: something I don't do.
- 16:57Speaker 2: I mean you you say you on your lunch break

- 17:34Speaker 5: I'm so upset.
- 17:35Speaker 12: I'm working all day. I get up at four in
- 17:39Speaker 12: the morning to make sure I got everything prepared for
- 17:42Speaker 12: the whole day, got to get the kids. And we
- 17:44Speaker 12: have three kids, one, two, and three.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, okay, is he the one?
- 17:50Speaker 11: Because see do he cause my wife works at a
- 17:54Speaker 11: at a daycare? Do he drop him off at a daycare?
- 17:58Speaker 12: Don't start your baby. It's getting deeper if I get
- 18:02Speaker 12: to this what day care?
- 18:04Speaker 5: Does your wife working back?
- 18:04Speaker 12: Because I see mm hmm, don't start me.
- 18:07Speaker 5: Yeah he plopping them off?
- 18:08Speaker 4: Okay, uh huh.
- 18:10Speaker 12: If you tell me to maybe just tell.
- 18:11Speaker 11: Me if from I swear liney now she's been at

- 18:22Speaker 5: working it's want to they're supposed to be watching our kids.
- 18:26Speaker 11: You see, I'm already and see but see I'm already
- 18:29Speaker 11: upset and been upset about this last I've been holding
- 18:32Speaker 11: it for the last two weeks.
- 18:34Speaker 2: I've been holding it. Ain't said nothing to kneel.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Why are you holding it? Why you should have been
- 18:40Speaker 5: called me?
- 18:41Speaker 4: What them?
- 18:43Speaker 5: Because when he get it? Let me tell you something.
- 18:45Speaker 12: I get up at four every morning.
- 18:48Speaker 4: And this I go.
- 18:49Speaker 5: I have to be to work for six thirty every morning.
- 18:53Speaker 5: I get to that damn house.
- 18:54Speaker 12: I slave all.
- 18:55Speaker 5: They didn't come on as slave for him.
- 18:57Speaker 12: Try to make sure he feels good as a man
- 19:00Speaker 12: although he's not working. You know it wasn't this part

- 21:02Speaker 1: Time now for as the CLO Chief Love Office of
- 21:06Speaker 1: the KLO. As a nephew calls him, Steve Harvey is
- 21:08Speaker 1: in the building.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 21:10Speaker 1: This one is from Honey and Queen's Honeywrights. Two years ago.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I had a hip replacement. I had hip replacement surgery,
- 21:17Speaker 1: and I'm still using it as an excuse to keep
- 21:20Speaker 1: my husband away from me at night. He eventually stopped
- 21:24Speaker 1: pressing me for sex, and now he doesn't come to
- 21:27Speaker 1: bed till late at night. Instead, he sits out back
- 21:31Speaker 1: and smokes cigars. Last night, I looked for him and
- 21:35Speaker 1: his car wasn't there. I called him and he said
- 21:38Speaker 1: he was watching the game with his brother. I wanted
- 21:41Speaker 1: to call his brother to verify his story, but the
- 21:44Speaker 1: background was quiet. Should I trust my husband or did
- 21:48Speaker 1: he lie?
- 21:50Speaker 2: Booh no, no, he probably didn't lie.
- 21:52Speaker 7: Let's talk about this four minutes, see because just sarelate
- 21:55Speaker 7: about your huss Let's be real, is you freaking this
- 21:59Speaker 7: Hip's you with this fake hip injury? Now you ain't
- 22:04Speaker 7: got your hip replace. So I know you're old. So
- 22:07Speaker 7: now you didn't got your hip replace because that ain't
- 22:09Speaker 7: a twenty year old problem. You got your hip replace
- 22:12Speaker 7: because your ass mess around failed somewhere. You didn't have
- 22:16Speaker 7: your little panic alert.
- 22:17Speaker 6: But the help.
- 22:18Speaker 7: I'm falling. I can't get up. So you laid there
- 22:21Speaker 7: and now you got to get the whole damn hip replaced.
- 22:24Speaker 7: Now you don't want your husband touching you at night,
- 22:26Speaker 7: and so you done kept the lie going.
- 22:29Speaker 2: You lie.
- 22:30Speaker 7: Let's not turn this into is your husband lying. You've
- 22:33Speaker 7: been lying to your husband about your hip injury.
- 22:37Speaker 2: This is your lie.
- 22:38Speaker 7: So now your husband been sitting in the backyard smoked cigar.
- 22:41Speaker 7: Now you go out there one night and the carn there.
- 22:44Speaker 7: How long it's been since you had sex with your
- 22:46Speaker 7: hus and what you want him to do because he
- 22:50Speaker 7: know your hip.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Don't take that damn long because he was at doctor's
- 22:53Speaker 2: office with you. He's not stupid and he don't want
- 22:56Speaker 2: your help anyway.
- 23:00Speaker 7: So of course wrong with everything else because we were
- 23:04Speaker 7: I stay on the front side. We ain't even got
- 23:06Speaker 7: to go over there with a hipap because what I
- 23:08Speaker 7: want is not your hip. Now what's up?
- 23:10Speaker 2: So is he at your brother's house.
- 23:12Speaker 7: Probably should you call hell now because you started this lie?
- 23:17Speaker 7: So this lie on you not need hell?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Honeys moving on to me in Saint Louis and says,
- 23:28Speaker 1: I took my girlfriend to Vegas for her birthday and

- 24:22Speaker 7: He was upstairs eating edibles in the room with two girls,
- 24:24Speaker 7: and they was pleasuring each other. Hold up, dog, dog,
- 24:28Speaker 7: listen to me. We all make mistakes, everybody. Don't you
- 24:35Speaker 7: walk your ass in there and have no moment where
- 24:38Speaker 7: you got to get this off your chest. This is
- 24:41Speaker 7: you've heard the statement cad to your grave. This is
- 24:45Speaker 7: a take it to your grave moment. I thank you

- 24:59Speaker 2: How many inns he.
- 25:04Speaker 10: Put his name into them?
- 25:06Speaker 3: And why is this bothering him? That's what I need
- 25:09Speaker 3: to know.
- 25:12Speaker 7: You wasn't bothering you when you was eating the brownies
- 25:15Speaker 7: and all the gum drops and all this hell. Wasn't
- 25:18Speaker 7: nothing bothering you. Wasn't nothing bothering you when there was

- 27:17Speaker 1: Beach says, I'm dating a new guy. And we met
- 27:20Speaker 1: at a football game. He had on a baseball cap,
- 27:23Speaker 1: so I couldn't see his hair, but I did see
- 27:25Speaker 1: his big smile in grayish blue eyes. On our first date,
- 27:28Speaker 1: I got to see his hair for the first time.
- 27:31Speaker 1: It was shiny, wet and jet black. His baby hair
- 27:35Speaker 1: was pulled out and it looked like a Jerry curl.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I asked him what he'd done to get his hair
- 27:40Speaker 1: like that, and he said, it's natural. It's only that's
- 27:43Speaker 1: the only flaw he has so far. So how can

- 29:03Speaker 1: While a lot of us are overly concerned about how
- 29:06Speaker 1: we look, especially when it comes to finding a mate,
- 29:08Speaker 1: it turns out looks really aren't everything. In fact, a
- 29:12Speaker 1: new poll finds that ninety two percent, ninety two percent
- 29:16Speaker 1: of people say they prefer a partner with a good
- 29:19Speaker 1: personality to one with a great body. Overall, eighty one
- 29:23Speaker 1: percent of people say they're looking for a partner with
- 29:25Speaker 1: a good personality, while seventy six percent want one with
- 29:29Speaker 1: a sense of humor. There you go, Steve with a
- 29:31Speaker 1: positive attitude and seventy three percent open mindedness sixty two

- 30:15Speaker 1: they have a nice personality.
- 30:17Speaker 10: That's all that meant right away.
- 30:22Speaker 7: But now I would prefer personality over you said a
- 30:26Speaker 7: great body. Yeah, yeah, because my body got flaws. I
- 30:31Speaker 7: can accept the flaw on your body. There ain't no problem.
- 30:34Speaker 7: Couple of flaws, you know. So I ain't worried about that.

- 51:57Speaker 14: You never know.
- 51:59Speaker 4: You never know.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Well, buckle opp and hold on tight. We got a
- 52:01Speaker 2: POI you here.
- 52:02Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry LETTA subject this drinking and cussing
- 52:06Speaker 1: has to stop. Dear Stephen Shirley, my husband of twenty
- 52:10Speaker 1: two years, has made a lot of changes in the
- 52:13Speaker 1: last six months. He's been in the military. Since I
- 52:15Speaker 1: met him, and he retired last year, but he still
- 52:19Speaker 1: hangs out with his coworkers. He has always cursed like
- 52:22Speaker 1: a sailor because he was a sailor when he was younger.
- 52:26Speaker 1: When we had our first child, I asked him to
- 52:28Speaker 1: watch what he said around our daughter after he slacked
- 52:31Speaker 1: up with using profanity, and he did slack up with
- 52:35Speaker 1: using profanity. Now that he's retired, I think he's frustrated
- 52:39Speaker 1: and bored because he started using strong, four letter words
- 52:42Speaker 1: and he said, the kids are old enough to understand.
- 52:45Speaker 1: We have a seventeen year old and a fifteen year old,
- 52:49Speaker 1: and he curses at them like they are his age.
- 52:51Speaker 1: Not only do I have to put up with his
- 52:53Speaker 1: bad language, he put a bar in the basement and
- 52:57Speaker 1: bought all brands of alcohol, and his former co workers
- 53:00Speaker 1: pop up at our house and they go downstairs and
- 53:03Speaker 1: drink up all of my husband's liquor. He gets very drunk,
- 53:06Speaker 1: and usually he falls asleep in the basement and I
- 53:09Speaker 1: have to usher his friends out. Money is not an
- 53:12Speaker 1: issue with all of the alcohol, but I get tired
- 53:15Speaker 1: of his buddies drinking up his premium liquor and they
- 53:18Speaker 1: don't give him one cent to buy more. I asked
- 53:21Speaker 1: my husband if he's going through something or if this
- 53:24Speaker 1: is a midlife crisis, and he told me that he's fine,
- 53:28Speaker 1: but ready to let his hair down a little because
- 53:30Speaker 1: he's not working anymore. I did not want to spend
- 53:33Speaker 1: my retirement with a drunk, foul mouth Man's here's the
- 53:37Speaker 1: worst part. The last time we were being intimate, he
- 53:40Speaker 1: was drunk and he called me a dirty name, and
- 53:43Speaker 1: he kept cursing so loudly. I was afraid our kids
- 53:45Speaker 1: would hear it. How can I stop him from being
- 53:48Speaker 1: so crude? I need the drinking and cussing to stop. Wow,
- 53:53Speaker 1: well it doesn't look like it's going to stop for
- 53:56Speaker 1: a while anyway. It sounds like your husband needs a
- 54:00Speaker 1: seriously different kind of hobby than, you know, just being
- 54:03Speaker 1: downstairs drinking with his friends. But he did tell you
- 54:06Speaker 1: he wanted to let his hair down a little bit.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Maybe this is not going to last forever, but I
- 54:12Speaker 1: see you want to cut it off now, cut it
- 54:14Speaker 1: off at the past before it gets any worse. He
- 54:16Speaker 1: did say, like I said, he wanted to let his
- 54:19Speaker 1: hair down a little because he's not working anymore. And
- 54:22Speaker 1: that's you know, you said it too. He's bored and frustrated.
- 54:25Speaker 1: But he also has to realize that this is your
- 54:27Speaker 1: house too. When you guys do have kids, he needs
- 54:30Speaker 1: to be mindful and respectful of his influence on them.
- 54:35Speaker 1: He was able to curb his cursing when your daughter
- 54:38Speaker 1: was little, so you know he can change if he
- 54:40Speaker 1: wants to. I say, you tell him you need a
- 54:43Speaker 1: break from all the company and the drinking and the cursing,
- 54:46Speaker 1: because he's getting out of control, and he's drinking way
- 54:48Speaker 1: too much, maybe turning into an alcoholic. You know, let
- 54:52Speaker 1: him know he's setting a horrible example for the kids.
- 54:55Speaker 1: He needs to find out something, find something else to do.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Tell him you don't want drunk set You don't want that,
- 55:01Speaker 1: and you don't want his old coworkers just popping up
- 55:05Speaker 1: at the house unannounced. Now are you mad at that
- 55:07Speaker 1: or are you mad at the fact that they're drinking
- 55:09Speaker 1: of all your husband's good liquor, Because those are kind
- 55:12Speaker 1: of two different issues. If they come, you don't have
- 55:14Speaker 1: to answer the door, especially if they come unannounced, stop
- 55:18Speaker 1: letting them in. If they do, just don't answer the door.
- 55:20Speaker 1: And if you do let them in, hide the liquor.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Hide the liquor all right, that's what.
- 55:26Speaker 4: You have to do, Steve.
- 55:29Speaker 7: Well, this drinking and cussing has to stop. I'm gonna
- 55:34Speaker 7: just be up front with you before we start this letter.
- 55:37Speaker 7: I might can help you with the drinking.
- 55:41Speaker 1: What are you saying?
- 55:43Speaker 7: I don't want to be hypocritical. I think I can
- 55:50Speaker 7: possibly help you with this. I know where it comes from. Anyway,
- 55:56Speaker 7: your husband twenty two to made a lot of changes
- 56:00Speaker 7: ast six months, been in the military since she met him.
- 56:03Speaker 7: He retired last week, but he still hangs around with
- 56:06Speaker 7: his coworkers. Well, he miss his friends. They've they had relationships.
- 56:12Speaker 7: You know, a lot of people once they stop working,
- 56:14Speaker 7: you know, they missed the camaraderie at work.
- 56:17Speaker 2: They missed the relationships down at the job. They just
- 56:19Speaker 2: as dudes, and he missed them. All right.
- 56:22Speaker 7: So he's always cussed like a sailor, and he said
- 56:26Speaker 7: that's because he was. But marines cussed, army people cussed,
- 56:30Speaker 7: post office workers cuss. Pastor's cuss, the media's cus radio
- 56:36Speaker 7: show hosts cuss. Surely cuss. You act like she don't,
- 56:39Speaker 7: but she probably do all that old mess right there.
- 56:42Speaker 7: Who the hell don't cuss anyway? Anyway, let's just move on.
- 56:46Speaker 7: I can tell you for show calling, for real cuss
- 56:48Speaker 7: So now we had our first child, I ask him
- 56:51Speaker 7: to watch what he said around her daughter, and he
- 56:53Speaker 7: slacked up. Well, now he's retired and he's frustrating the
- 56:57Speaker 7: board because he'd a start using foe letter words.
- 57:01Speaker 3: Again what.
- 57:03Speaker 2: He slacked up when the baby was young.
- 57:05Speaker 7: But see now you say, we have a seventeen year
- 57:08Speaker 7: old and a fifteen year old, and he cusses at
- 57:10Speaker 7: them like they his age. They probably heard these words before, ma'am. Now,
- 57:15Speaker 7: if if he's not cursing at his daughter, that's a
- 57:20Speaker 7: different thing. You know, cussing at your little girls is wrong.
- 57:25Speaker 7: If you are man, I just think it's wrong. I
- 57:28Speaker 7: do not only do I have to put up his
- 57:30Speaker 7: bag language. He put a bar in the basement. He
- 57:32Speaker 7: bought all brands. I call his fomer. Coworkers pop up
- 57:35Speaker 7: at the house and they go downstairs and they drink
- 57:36Speaker 7: up all my husband's liquor. He gets very drunk and
- 57:39Speaker 7: usually falls asleep in the basement and I have to
- 57:42Speaker 7: USh his friends out. Now, that's that's a little crazy.
- 57:45Speaker 7: Your husband drinking that hard. Yeah, that he fall asleep
- 57:49Speaker 7: and they steal down there, that's a problem. I have
- 57:53Speaker 7: a solution for that though, when we come back. I
- 57:55Speaker 7: asked my husband if he's going through something in mid
- 57:58Speaker 7: life CHRISTI, He said, he find and he just ready
- 58:00Speaker 7: to let his head down a little bit because he
- 58:02Speaker 7: ain't working no more. Well, I got that, but we
- 58:05Speaker 7: got to do something because y'all can't be that old,
- 58:08Speaker 7: because the kids ain't but seventeen and fifteen. So now
- 58:11Speaker 7: he retired, we got to come up with something else
- 58:13Speaker 7: to do. Size drinking. I got the rest when I
- 58:17Speaker 7: come back.
- 58:18Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Steve. Hang on, we'll have part
- 58:20Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 58:22Speaker 1: after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subjects the drinking and
- 58:26Speaker 1: the cussing has to stop. We'll get back into it
- 58:28Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right,
- 58:33Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 58:37Speaker 1: this drinking and cussing has to stop.
- 58:40Speaker 7: Well, here's a deal. Been married twenty two years, he's
- 58:43Speaker 7: always cussed. He started, he didn't put a bar in
- 58:47Speaker 7: the basement. He missed his friends, those relationships. He just
- 58:53Speaker 7: started back to cussing again. And now the kids at
- 58:56Speaker 7: seventeen and fifteen, and you say he cussing it them
- 59:00Speaker 7: like they're his age. They probably heard all these words before.
- 59:03Speaker 7: Like I said before, as long as he's not cursing
- 59:06Speaker 7: at the daughter that way. I don't think that's cool
- 59:09Speaker 7: at all because it sends a bad example to a
- 59:11Speaker 7: young lady. That is okay for a man to talk
- 59:13Speaker 7: to her that way, and it's not. And as fathers,
- 59:16Speaker 7: we have to be very very conscious the example that
- 59:19Speaker 7: we put in front of our daughters and our sons.
- 59:22Speaker 7: But you really don't want a daughter to think that
- 59:25Speaker 7: this is acceptable coming from a person who's supposed to
- 59:29Speaker 7: love her. That's an unacceptable dog And that's what you
- 59:35Speaker 7: got to get a grip on that right there. Now.
- 59:37Speaker 7: He respected her when she was young, but now that
- 59:40Speaker 7: they're older, I got that they old enough that they've
- 59:43Speaker 7: heard this. But you can't do that to your daughter, man,
- 59:48Speaker 7: I'm telling you, it's a dangerous slope. You're creating something
- 59:52Speaker 7: in her that she don't need to be. She needs
- 59:54Speaker 7: to always look at her father as a protector, somebody
- 59:57Speaker 7: she can go to and want to, you know, hold
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: of father in high esteem. He could be losing that,
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: So point that out. To him, tell him, I said
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: that that's cool. Steve said you shouldn't do it around
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: your daughter, and you shouldn't, and most men had agree
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: with me and all, and we have daughters on this show.
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: Me and Tommy got daughters. And that ain't how we talk.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: All right, Now, he'd have put his body downstairs and
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: his workers pop over at the house and they go downstairs,
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: they drink up all your husband's liquor. He get drunk,
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: fall asleep, and then you gotta USh his friends out.
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: Money ain't an issue with all alcohol. But I get
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: tired his buddy drinking up his premium looking in they
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: don't give him one cent to buy more. So now
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: here's the deal with that? I think the solution is
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: he get a night with his buddies downstairs. Pick the
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: knight that is the night for drinking, and then that
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: makes it once a week or once every two weeks,
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: whatever y'all decide. But he gets a night to go
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: down with his ball with his buddies. They can't just
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: pop up. I don't know what y'all running over there.
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: And this ain't camp, and y'all ain't little kids coming
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: over to me like, hey, we want to play video
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: games and ride your bike.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: That ain't what this is.
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: You got a family, dog, and you can't have people
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: just popping up at your house. That's unacceptable because now
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: you're not only disrespecting your daughter, you disrespecting your wife.
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: So now you ask him if you're going through something.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: He said he ready to retire now, and he won't
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: let his hair down a little. I've been told that
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: you can retire from the military as early as thirty eight.
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: But you've been with him twenty two years, so he
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: must have been in the military for twenty two years.
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: So let's say y'all got married at twenty Let's say
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: twenty twenty two, because the kids is fifteen and seventeen.
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: So let's say he forty four years old. Okay, dog,
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: So you ain't finna do nothing except drink because you
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: don'e retire. You gotta do something else. Dog, You may
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: live another forty fifty years. What this can't be it
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: you need to get some hobbies. I didn't want to
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: spend my retirement with a drunk firemouth man. Here's the
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: worst part. Last time we were being enterming, he was
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: drunk and he called me a dirty name, and he
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: kept cussing so loud, and I was afraid our kids
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: was here.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: Well, they heard it.
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: They heard it he loud. You know, drunk people don't
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: ever realize how loud they talking. I don't know what happened,
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: but I think drinking blocks your hearing. That is, for
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: damn sure or symptom of being drunk. I think it
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: blocks your hearing. So I know he talking loud and
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: they heard it. How could I stop him from being
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: so crude? I need the drinking and cussing the stop.
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: First of all, Shirley said it right. You don't have
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: to have drunk sex. So you drinking, we not having sex.
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: That'll cut back on some of the drinking. And if
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: you cuss me, it's over. But now once again I
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: can help you with the drinking. You know, sex and
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: cussing is kind of.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: You know, let's go together. Yeah, kind of kind of
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: kind of handed hand. Really yeah, I'm just.
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: Trying to figure out how we're gonna you know, I
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: got we're gonna stop cussing at the kids. When I'm
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: trying to figure out how we're gonna stop this while
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: we're having sex. You know what, what what are we
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: supposed to say? I mean, I do know substitute works
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: like oh, goodie, goodie. You know you can't just kate,
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: I don't know what you're supposed to say. Why you're
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: having it? That replaces all sugar, honey, ice tea. Oh
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: I don't know how you replace that.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: With uh m hm, cheepers. How about helping oh this swell?
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Oh, well, yeah, I don't. I don't know.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: I don't know what we're doing right here, you know,
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: I don't. I don't know how to do that. So
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: once again I can't help you right there. He needs
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: to stop the drink and knowing you need to have
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: the guys have a night that they can come over
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: and you know, they coming and they leave. Uh, you know,
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: you all could also implement well he just put that
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: bar down there they come. Just just have a night
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: that you can do it, and then just set one bottle,
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: two bottles out and this is what we're drinking, and
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: then that's it. They can be premium lookable. Once that's gone,
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: it's over with. You know, we ain't drinking five six bottles.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Thank you post your comments on today's
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Strawberry letter at Steve HARBFM on Instagram and Facebook. Check

- 1:04:51Speaker 1: All right, here we go with something funny.
- 1:04:53Speaker 15: Yeah, this is a round table discussion today is who
- 1:04:57Speaker 15: told on you back in the day that made you
- 1:05:01Speaker 15: get the worse absolute worse behind whooping you've ever gotten
- 1:05:07Speaker 15: your life. Now here's the thing. Your mama could get
- 1:05:10Speaker 15: the news. And Junion and I talked about this. Your
- 1:05:12Speaker 15: mama could get the news. We had no internet, we
- 1:05:15Speaker 15: didn't have the phone, there was no texting. But by
- 1:05:19Speaker 15: time Annie Brown got to that house off that bus,
- 1:05:23Speaker 15: she knew everything that went down.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: I don't know how she knows she knew. I have
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: no idea. She started up, like, so, what you're doing
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: downtown today? Yeah, I'm like that.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: You know how.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: I ain't told nobody.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: There was no social media.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Little rabbits, little rabbits. Poker this slow this slow cat.
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: Told Miss Patters that I was the one that put
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: the fire crackers in her tulips in her front yard
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: and lit the four fire crackers and blew the damn tulips.
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: Little rabbit punk As told me.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Womans Titterson where across the street, told my mother. Man,
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: I got my ass.
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: How long was it?
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: How long was it waiting?
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: Again?
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: It felt like about fifteen minutes.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: I asked the question, did you do it?
- 1:06:49Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: Did it?
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: I knew you did it. Crackers in this one. What
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: made you do?
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: Man?
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: She was hateful?
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: Man?
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Okay, man? Like if our football rolled in the yard, No, no, no,
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: you can't. You don't go on that grass. You go
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: down there and get the football, take it in the house. Oh,
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: won't put it back to your baseball going her yard.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Don't go in my yard.
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: I'll tell you mom and daddy. Then she come down
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: here and get the baseball and roll it down the street.
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: Now we got to hear him get.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Down there for it.
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: Yards.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: She ain't that but eight but I couldn't get so
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: I only could do four. I had timed it. All right,
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: we gotta go, yeah, all I got so many.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:07:47Speaker 14: Morning show?
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: So this is from Anonymous in Virginia.
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: Uh.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Anonymous says, I am really close to one of my
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: male co workers, and the other day we crossed the
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: line and had sex in his car after work. The
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: next day I couldn't get into work, and I realized
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: I left my badge in my coworker's car. He called
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: in sick, so I had to pay fifty dollars to
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: get a new badge made. Then he texted me after
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: lunch and said his wife found my badge in the car,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: and he told her that we were just talking. His
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: wife as I rate and plans to call my husband.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: My husband is still acting like he hasn't heard anything.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Should I make up an excuse for being in my
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: coworker's car and tell it to my husband before she
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: calls him.
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: So both of y'all was met. I mean, the wife
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: is gonna call the letter writer's husband.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, because she found the badge. Yes, she found
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: the badge in her husband's car.
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: Well, I noticed, I ain't gonna be surprising to nobody,
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: jo ass if you get to line.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: But yet to line.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: But like what what what kind of life would fix this?
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: I don't know because see this from right here, See
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: the the the dude you got in the can had sexty.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: His wife ain't buying none of it.
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: So she is saying, I'll tell you what, my marriage
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: ain't gonna be the only world affected by it. Tail
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: have no few like a woman's squirrel and do you
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: know I thought that was a scripture that it because
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: it's so real and truth, that's not a scripture.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: But it did sound very fibul when.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: It happens, but it's and it's very real and it's
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: very real.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: And so she gonna call, So you need to do something.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: I can't help you, you know, y'all wash You know
- 1:09:49Speaker 7: everybody was going out to eat for lunch and he
- 1:09:52Speaker 7: was going a certain way. He was going to a
- 1:09:55Speaker 7: certain and so you all decided to go and ride together.
- 1:09:59Speaker 7: It was other people, well.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: In the car, it wasn't just other people.
- 1:10:03Speaker 9: If I myself, I'm off in the cars.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Why did you feel the need to take your badge?
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: Because I wasted ice on my thighs and and then
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: I dropped down in the float and looked for it
- 1:10:13Speaker 7: and my badge came over.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: You.
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: Well, I had to take it off my neck because
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: I was dabbing my work suit off.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: You get, okay?
- 1:10:24Speaker 7: And I cleaned my badge off so it would work
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: on the new cacture. I wiped it off and I
- 1:10:28Speaker 7: actually wanted left on the talk, oh, because I took
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: it off when I waste my tea on it.
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: You know how, Okay, so.
- 1:10:35Speaker 10: Then I can ask the husband and coffee sad.
- 1:10:38Speaker 7: And now there was tea. You're not gonna see tea, stads.
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: This wasn't coffee sweet.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: This wasn't coffee sweetie, right.
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: Right, you get your facts straight, I said. And it
- 1:10:59Speaker 7: was a light tea because I had asked the extra ice.
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: So it wasn't even hardy brown no more. It was
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: damn near cliffs.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: It's all about the details when you tell a lie.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: I found stick to them.
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: I like that.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: I believe it.
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: It was other people in the car, so I don't
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: know why she mad at you. There was other people
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: in but he slammed on his brakes and boom, all
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: that tea would splashed everywhere, and I was I was
- 1:11:26Speaker 7: back there. I was sitting in the back day.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Okay, here's a question. Are the two co workers still
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: going to be getting together after words?
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Don't stop righting? It's over. See you've got the warning
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: shot get rusty. That's right.
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: See, God always gives you a chance. He always gives
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: you a chance when you make a mistake. You first
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: when he fires a shot in the air. This is
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: a shot in the air. But y'all have had the
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: shot in the air before, so this one was he
- 1:11:55Speaker 7: took a little bit of your eLOAD beat off. So
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: this somebody else has had wondering what y'all was up to,
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: and you didn't heed that warning. Now you the left
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: thing in the college. Now gods have fired this shot.
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: That took a little he'll old meat off. Now if
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: you do it again, the next bullet is in your teeth.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I'll doing some questions. Yeah, all right,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: coming up there next time, somebody.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: Gonna be knocking on the window, and you're gonna know

- 1:17:25Speaker 1: you because you know what.
- 1:17:28Speaker 7: I want to talk to you about something I saw
- 1:17:31Speaker 7: online today. I just happened to be going through and
- 1:17:40Speaker 7: I don't even know. I think it was on Instagram.
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: I think when I was watching Bishop jenks Man, and
- 1:17:45Speaker 7: he's absolutely, hands down one of my favorite people. On
- 1:17:50Speaker 7: a personal note, because I can't even tell you how
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: many times I've called him and just told him something
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: I was going through, man, and he just gave me
- 1:18:00Speaker 7: the perfect word of encouragement. He's just been he's just
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: been a friend, man, He's just been a friend. Not
- 1:18:09Speaker 7: on the past storial level, but I'm talking about just
- 1:18:14Speaker 7: like I'm telling you, he's a guy that's just a
- 1:18:17Speaker 7: cool dude.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: And he don't talk to you.
- 1:18:24Speaker 7: With crosses coming out of his mouth every time he
- 1:18:26Speaker 7: opened it. You can just have real conversation with him
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: at about what's really happening and what you can really
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: do about it. Now, he gonna end up telling you
- 1:18:36Speaker 7: about faith, but he gonna also give you some real
- 1:18:39Speaker 7: life situations so you don't get, you know, clouded with
- 1:18:42Speaker 7: it like it's just all you know, sugary. Like here's
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: a real simple answer just to apply to scription going
- 1:18:48Speaker 7: about your business because his life. But I was listening
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: to him today and he was talking about courage and
- 1:18:57Speaker 7: he was talking about do you have courage to go
- 1:19:02Speaker 7: for it? Because he was talking about success and he
- 1:19:06Speaker 7: was talking about it takes courage to be successful. So see,
- 1:19:13Speaker 7: if if you don't want to be nothing, it don't
- 1:19:17Speaker 7: take no courage because it takes courage to win. You know, look, man,
- 1:19:23Speaker 7: if you want to be regular, if you want to
- 1:19:26Speaker 7: just lay it down, you know, if you don't want
- 1:19:31Speaker 7: to make no waves, if you want to be mediocre,
- 1:19:34Speaker 7: if you want to just go on and fit in,
- 1:19:35Speaker 7: if you want to dress like them, if you want
- 1:19:37Speaker 7: to act like them, if you want to walk like them,
- 1:19:39Speaker 7: if you want to think like them, if you want
- 1:19:41Speaker 7: to do what they do, and and you ready to
- 1:19:45Speaker 7: just let mediocrity have his way in your life, then
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: you don't need no courage.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: But if you want to win, it takes courage.
- 1:19:59Speaker 7: And once you make the decision to win, they gonna
- 1:20:03Speaker 7: talk about you because they don't talk.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: About nobody that ain't winning.
- 1:20:08Speaker 7: When the last time you heard a conversation about somebody
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: that ain't winning. No, man, they talk about you. If
- 1:20:15Speaker 7: you win it They talking about you winning in hopes
- 1:20:18Speaker 7: that they can see you fall. If they see you
- 1:20:21Speaker 7: stumbling from the top, you still winning. But if they
- 1:20:24Speaker 7: think they can see you stumbling, here they talking about you.
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: They try to find anything they can to bring you down.
- 1:20:33Speaker 7: But it takes courage. It takes courage to be successful.
- 1:20:38Speaker 7: It takes courage to win. And he kept asking the question,
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: do you have the courage to win, because when you
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: start winning, y'all, you got to be ready because they
- 1:20:51Speaker 7: gonna talk about you, they gonna take shots at you,
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: They gonna throw rocks.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: At you, they gonna take aim at you. Ain't nobody.
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: They aiming at no losers because they're too easy to
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: hit because they down there already. See people only get
- 1:21:06Speaker 7: credit for shooting at somebody up.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: What good and listen to me. I'm not making fun
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: of the less fortunate by any way.
- 1:21:18Speaker 7: But you don't see nobody always talking about the down
- 1:21:22Speaker 7: try unless they're ignorant, just trying to make theyself look better. No, man,
- 1:21:28Speaker 7: you know what gets you on the internet. You know
- 1:21:31Speaker 7: what gets you viral? You know what gets you streaming
- 1:21:35Speaker 7: when you start talking about somebody that's about something, because
- 1:21:38Speaker 7: you know what those people are news see you popular.
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: When you start going viral, when they start talking about you,
- 1:21:46Speaker 7: it's because you win it. You can't go viral on
- 1:21:49Speaker 7: somebody that ain't nobody. So y'all take heed, take heart,
- 1:21:57Speaker 7: and take courage all at the same time when they
- 1:22:00Speaker 7: talking about you, because that means you're moving, That means
- 1:22:04Speaker 7: you're shaking them up. That means you're giving them something
- 1:22:07Speaker 7: to talk about. But in order to do that, it's
- 1:22:10Speaker 7: gonna take some courage. You've got to be courageous, man.
- 1:22:17Speaker 7: It don't take nothing to mail it in. It, don't
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: take nothing to lay it down. All you gotta do
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: is say I'm through, i ain't doing nothing more, and
- 1:22:24Speaker 7: it's done.
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: It's over with.
- 1:22:26Speaker 7: But sit up and say I'm gonna finish. Sit up
- 1:22:30Speaker 7: and say I'm gonna see it through. Sit up and
- 1:22:33Speaker 7: say I'm gonna be the best. Sit up and say
- 1:22:36Speaker 7: I'm gonna fight it. I'm gonna try, I'm gonna fight.
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: I'm gonna win this one. See, they talk about all
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: these fights that's going down and stuff, and they talking
- 1:22:45Speaker 7: about who fighting lamar Odam fighting, Mayweather fighting this dude,
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: Chris Paul he he go rute Paul whatever his name is,
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: and want Paul boys fighting over this dude, this gout
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: mcconnor fighting out here. But the only reason they talking
- 1:22:59Speaker 7: about is you finn to do something. They ain't talking
- 1:23:03Speaker 7: about nobody that ain't fighting. They ain't talking about nobody
- 1:23:07Speaker 7: that ain't throwing no punches. They ain't talking about nobody
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: that didn't sign the contract. The conversation is about the
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: people who signed up to fight. The credit belongs to
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: the man who is actually in the reena. Now I'm
- 1:23:21Speaker 7: paraphrasing this thing that Teddy Roosevelt wrote, because the whole
- 1:23:24Speaker 7: way he did it wasn't for me. But the credit
- 1:23:28Speaker 7: belongs to the man who is actually in the arena,
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: whose face is marred with dust, blood, sweating tears, Not
- 1:23:35Speaker 7: to those cold and timid souls in the stands who
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: know neither victory nor defeat. They just spectators, man, And
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: the only reason they talking about you because it looked
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: like you trying to win.
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: But it takes courage.
- 1:23:52Speaker 7: Be encouraged.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: Everybody, go for it. Those are my clothes. Remark I'll
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: have a great thing.
