Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: You may remember a woman by the name of Alice
- 0:03Speaker 1: Marie Johnson. She is an American criminal justice reform advocate.
- 0:09Speaker 1: She is a former federal prisoner. She's actually from my
- 0:12Speaker 1: hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. And you may remember, I think
- 0:16Speaker 1: it was Kim Kardashian who helped tell her story to
- 0:18Speaker 1: the President and ultimately got her a pardon. Well, she
- 0:22Speaker 1: is now helping the President of the United States of
- 0:24Speaker 1: America when it comes to some of these pardons and
- 0:28Speaker 1: people that they believe have been unfairly targeted or got
- 0:32Speaker 1: sentences that were way longer than they should have been. Now,
- 0:35Speaker 1: part of this goes back to Alice's story. She was
- 0:38Speaker 1: convicted in nineteen ninety six for an involvement in a
- 0:41Speaker 1: Memphis cocaine trafficking organization and she was sentenced to life
- 0:46Speaker 1: in prison. The life imprisonment without the possibility of parole
- 0:51Speaker 1: was what they gave her in ninety six, and it
- 0:53Speaker 1: was commuted to twenty one years in prison. Then in
- 0:57Speaker 1: twenty twenty, it was a pardon from Donald Trump that
- 1:00Speaker 1: allowed her to get out of jail. Now, there was
- 1:03Speaker 1: a lot that happened with her, and a lot of
- 1:05Speaker 1: people heard it early on and they were like, we.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Hold on a second. This woman was involved in a
- 1:10Speaker 2: drug ring.
- 1:11Speaker 1: In theory, yes, but if you look at the details,
- 1:14Speaker 1: she basically answered a phone and was the lowest level
- 1:18Speaker 1: person involved, and then she got life in prison. A
- 1:21Speaker 1: lot of people thought it was incredibly unfair. She's now
- 1:24Speaker 1: an advocate for the president and referred to as the
- 1:28Speaker 1: pardon Czar. She is talking now about these reality TV
- 1:33Speaker 1: stars and providing them quote a second chance. Todd and
- 1:38Speaker 1: Julie they were pardoned and they were released from prison
- 1:42Speaker 1: on Wednesday. Alice said their daughter was their biggest advocate.
- 1:46Speaker 1: She thinks the couple will become criminal justice reform advocates
- 1:49Speaker 1: as well, after they say they have served enough of
- 1:53Speaker 1: their time now. She did a sit down interview on
- 1:57Speaker 1: Fox and Friends this morning giving the case on why
- 2:01Speaker 1: it is important that they were also given a second chance,
- 2:05Speaker 1: and I want you to hear what she had to
- 2:07Speaker 1: say in her own words.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Take a listen to this. Alice.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Marie Johnson is the person that she was just referring to,
- 2:14Speaker 3: and she is the partons are who helped present the
- 2:16Speaker 3: case to President Trump and he signed off on it.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Als great to see you your thought. We went into
- 2:22Speaker 3: the decisions that you thought that Todd and Julie deserved
- 2:28Speaker 3: to be out.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Well, they were only sentenced.
- 2:31Speaker 5: They both received a combined sentus of nineteen years for
- 2:36Speaker 5: first time non voald in the fence. And if you
- 2:39Speaker 5: look at their case and how it went down, I'm
- 2:42Speaker 5: going to say that in Georgian it was truly weaponized.
- 2:46Speaker 4: They called them the Trumps of Georgian.
- 2:49Speaker 3: So when you looked at their background, you see the
- 2:51Speaker 3: fact that they did seem to hide money from the irs.
- 2:55Speaker 3: They were buried in debt to fraud banks.
- 2:57Speaker 2: You're not saying that didn't happen. You just say they're
- 3:00Speaker 2: overly charged.
- 3:02Speaker 5: They were definitely overly charged. Without going into all of
- 3:05Speaker 5: the elements of this case and this trial, which if
- 3:08Speaker 5: we had more time to talk about it, I'd be
- 3:10Speaker 5: able to tell you all the horrific things that happened
- 3:13Speaker 5: in their case. But they will certainly over a sentence
- 3:16Speaker 5: and for that, looking at them, they don't pose a
- 3:19Speaker 5: risk to society. In fact, I know that they're going
- 3:23Speaker 5: to use their voices and their platform to uplift the
- 3:27Speaker 5: president's agenda.
- 3:29Speaker 3: So Alice, can you tell everyone at home what the
- 3:31Speaker 3: criteria is that you go through before you make a
- 3:34Speaker 3: recommendation to the president to sign off on the pardons.
- 3:37Speaker 2: What do you look for?
- 3:38Speaker 5: Yes, one of the things that I look for is rehabilitation.
- 3:41Speaker 5: That person is incocerated. Have they rehabilitated, Have they admitted
- 3:48Speaker 5: not only admitted, but have they remorseful for what they've done.
- 3:52Speaker 5: I look at what the saf says about them. I
- 3:55Speaker 5: look at you, they pose a safety risk to the community.
- 3:58Speaker 5: That's one of the big things, says, we don't want
- 4:00Speaker 5: to release someone that would pose risk to the community.
- 4:04Speaker 5: I look at really, do they have good and good
- 4:09Speaker 5: reinser plan And they don't have that because some have
- 4:13Speaker 5: been in prison so long that they really can't say that.
- 4:16Speaker 4: I have a job laiting on me.
- 4:18Speaker 1: One of the things you may have noticed there is
- 4:19Speaker 1: she said, this is not people saying they're innocent. This
- 4:22Speaker 1: is people that are saying, yes, they were guilty, but
- 4:24Speaker 1: are their threat to society?
- 4:25Speaker 2: And were they overcharged?
- 4:27Speaker 1: President Trump described the treatment of these individuals as quote
- 4:31Speaker 1: pretty harsh, expressing his belief that they were unfairly targeted,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and a phone call with their daughter, Savannah, he conveyed
- 4:38Speaker 1: his intention to expedite their release, stating, your parents are
- 4:42Speaker 1: going to be free and clean now. The family's reunion
- 4:46Speaker 1: was filled with emotions as well as Savannah, who had
- 4:48Speaker 1: been a vocal advocate for her parents' release, express immense
- 4:52Speaker 1: gratitude towards President Trump and all who supported their cause.
- 4:56Speaker 1: She emphasized the significance of family unity and her commitment
- 5:00Speaker 1: to advocating against wrongful convictions. These former reality TV stars
- 5:06Speaker 1: are also set to return to television with a new
- 5:08Speaker 1: docuseriies on Lifetime, We're being Told, offering viewers an intimate
- 5:13Speaker 1: look into their lives post incarceration. This development marks a
- 5:18Speaker 1: quote fresh chapter for the family, blending their personal journey
- 5:21Speaker 1: with their return to quote public eye. Now, there's a
- 5:25Speaker 1: lot of people that say, maybe this wasn't worth a
- 5:28Speaker 1: presidential pardon. We'll see if you look at how they
- 5:32Speaker 1: were charged and how long they were going to go
- 5:34Speaker 1: to jail for. There's a lot of people that say, well,
- 5:38Speaker 1: they should have been there for a long time because
- 5:41Speaker 1: of what they were convicted of. There's others to say, hey,
- 5:44Speaker 1: they paid back restitution, they've made it right, they've moved on,
- 5:48Speaker 1: they're good, they were well behaved in jail, and it's
- 5:51Speaker 1: time to give them a second chance. There's also others
- 5:54Speaker 1: to say, well, hold on, this is just Donald Trump
- 5:57Speaker 1: hooking up pro Trump advocates only with pardons. There are
- 6:03Speaker 1: some that are criticizing, saying this is no different than
- 6:05Speaker 1: what Joe Biden was doing hooking up his friends. Which
- 6:09Speaker 1: brings me to part two of the interview with Miss
- 6:12Speaker 1: Johnson on Fox News Channel. Because Brian killed me and
- 6:16Speaker 1: asked another question saying, hey, these aren't the only pardons
- 6:20Speaker 1: coming down from the present.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Some of them are also for some rappers.
- 6:25Speaker 1: And I want you to hear the question he asked,
- 6:28Speaker 1: because some of these rappers in their lyrics, they hated
- 6:31Speaker 1: Donald Trump. So it blows the narrative out the water
- 6:33Speaker 1: that anyone that gets to pardon right now is a
- 6:35Speaker 1: pro Trump individual.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Listen to this. That's interesting.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Okay, So a couple of rappers have come out, or
- 6:42Speaker 3: let's say one in particular, Young Boy.
- 6:45Speaker 2: One of his.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Lyrics in twenty seventeen that he put out is f
- 6:48Speaker 3: Donald Trump had some more disparaging things to say. He
- 6:51Speaker 3: had a violent pass of assault and battery, multiple cases
- 6:55Speaker 3: of that, and firearm, drug and fraud charges.
- 6:58Speaker 2: What sold you on him? Get a second chance?
- 7:02Speaker 4: I looked at that age and how this young man
- 7:04Speaker 4: grew up.
- 7:05Speaker 5: He grew up in a very impoverished neighborhood, and the
- 7:09Speaker 5: things that he had to face young.
- 7:12Speaker 4: India, young boy growing up.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Most of those were gun charges without the guns being discharged.
- 7:19Speaker 5: But I also looked at what happened to him on
- 7:23Speaker 5: a set where he was filming a video and he
- 7:26Speaker 5: had a crop in the set. That's really where this
- 7:28Speaker 5: came from. He didn't come out of prison, he was
- 7:31Speaker 5: given a part and so who could have a new beginning?
- 7:33Speaker 5: And the officers who in this particular case, they came
- 7:38Speaker 5: at him as though he was a terrorist and he
- 7:40Speaker 5: was on a set.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Failing for a video.
- 7:42Speaker 5: They gave him a gun charge for that, and he
- 7:45Speaker 5: thought that the officers who did this were all investigated
- 7:49Speaker 5: and fired.
- 7:50Speaker 4: So I look at the elements of what happened to
- 7:52Speaker 4: the young man.
- 7:53Speaker 3: So one thing I know, the prison has great respect
- 7:56Speaker 3: for you and really values your opinion. Already, I think
- 7:59Speaker 3: we have four partons outside the January sixth Guys, how
- 8:02Speaker 3: many do you think you'll recommend by the time the
- 8:04Speaker 3: four years are done?
- 8:06Speaker 5: There are I've been entrusted with this position, Brian, and
- 8:10Speaker 5: I can't give you a number, But I can tell
- 8:12Speaker 5: you this is that I will be carefully reviewing all
- 8:16Speaker 5: cases that come there. I've got a team around me.
- 8:20Speaker 5: They also vet these cases. It's not just my eyes
- 8:23Speaker 5: looking at these cases. They go to attorneys and they
- 8:26Speaker 5: pull up their background, They do a risk assessment on them.
- 8:30Speaker 5: They look at the elements of the crime and then
- 8:32Speaker 5: comes that and then I go it goes ego further vented.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Alice Mary Johnson. Very important job. I hope everyone who's
- 8:40Speaker 3: getting these partons and commutations realize the opportunity you are
- 8:44Speaker 3: giving them.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Thank you so much for joining us.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Listening to what she said there, and I got to
- 8:50Speaker 1: tell you she knows these cases well. She talks about
- 8:54Speaker 1: this rapper who, by the way, said terrible things about
- 8:57Speaker 1: Donald Trump, and she's like the police officer that came
- 9:00Speaker 1: after him were fired after they were investigated. It was
- 9:04Speaker 1: a prop on a set, is how they sent him
- 9:08Speaker 1: to prison.
- 9:09Speaker 2: So when you look at that and the overall.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Information that's being given here, it's pretty clear that the
- 9:16Speaker 1: president saying, whether you hate me or not, I'm going
- 9:18Speaker 1: to look at your case and I'm going to look
- 9:21Speaker 1: and see if it's something that you deserve or not
- 9:23Speaker 1: and if you should be given a second chance, that's incredible.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Major win for Donald Trump yet again on tariffs, as
- 9:33Speaker 1: an appeals court on Thursday stayed the ruling of the
- 9:36Speaker 1: US Court of International Trade that had blocked President Trump's
- 9:41Speaker 1: Liberation Day tariffs. Translation, the tariffs are back in effect.
- 9:47Speaker 1: The US Court of International Trade issued an injunction on
- 9:50Speaker 1: Wednesday night, ruling that President Donald Trump's Liberation Day quote
- 9:54Speaker 1: unquote tariffs were illegal. The White House filed emotion to
- 9:58Speaker 1: stay the ruling, and the tariffs were reinstated Thursday afternoon.
- 10:02Speaker 1: As CNBC noted shortly after the White House slammed the ruling,
- 10:06Speaker 1: here's the White House Press Secretary and her statement clearly
- 10:10Speaker 1: coming from the Oval Office.
- 10:12Speaker 6: Last night, the Trump administration faced another example of judicial overreach.
- 10:17Speaker 6: Using his full and proper legal authority, President Trump imposed
- 10:22Speaker 6: universal tariffs and reciprocal tariffs on Liberation Day to address
- 10:26Speaker 6: the extraordinary threat to our national security and economy posed
- 10:31Speaker 6: by large and persistent annual US goods trade deficits. The
- 10:35Speaker 6: United States has run a trade deficit of goods every
- 10:38Speaker 6: year since nineteen seventy five. In twenty twenty four, our
- 10:42Speaker 6: trade deficit in goods exceeded one trillion dollars. Everybody agrees
- 10:48Speaker 6: this is unacceptable. President Trump is delivering on his promise
- 10:52Speaker 6: to fix this problem, and he has taken a long
- 10:55Speaker 6: overdue and much needed, bold stance for American workers after
- 11:00Speaker 6: decades of our manufacturing base being hollowed out. The President's
- 11:05Speaker 6: rationale for imposing these powerful tariffs was legally sound and
- 11:08Speaker 6: grounded in common sense. President Trump correctly believes that America
- 11:12Speaker 6: cannot function safely long term if we are unable to
- 11:15Speaker 6: scale advanced domestic manufacturing capacity. How our own secure critical
- 11:20Speaker 6: supply chains and our defense industrial base is dependent on
- 11:24Speaker 6: foreign adversaries. Three judges of the US Court of International
- 11:28Speaker 6: Trade disagreed and brazenly abused their judicial power to usurp
- 11:32Speaker 6: the authority of President Trump to stop him from carrying
- 11:35Speaker 6: out the mandate that the American people gave him. These
- 11:38Speaker 6: judges failed to acknowledge that the President of the United
- 11:41Speaker 6: States has core foreign affairs powers and authority given to
- 11:44Speaker 6: him by Congress to protect the United States economy and
- 11:47Speaker 6: national security. Congress had created the National Emergency Act to
- 11:51Speaker 6: provide the congressional framework to strike down improper iepa use
- 11:55Speaker 6: and any questions over whether President Trump improperly imposed these
- 11:59Speaker 6: IEPA tariffs were already adjudicated in Congress. Following Liberation Day.
- 12:03Speaker 6: Congress firmly rejected an effort led by Senator Ran Paul
- 12:06Speaker 6: and Democrats to terminate the president's reciprocal tariffs. The courts
- 12:10Speaker 6: should have no role here. There is a troubling and
- 12:13Speaker 6: dangerous trend of unelected judges inserting themselves into the presidential
- 12:16Speaker 6: decision making process. America cannot function if President Trump, or
- 12:21Speaker 6: any other president for that matter, has their sensitive diplomatic
- 12:25Speaker 6: or trade negotiations railroaded by activist judges. President Trump is
- 12:29Speaker 6: in the process of rebalancing America's trading agreements with the
- 12:32Speaker 6: entire world, bringing tens of billions of dollars in tariff
- 12:36Speaker 6: revenues to our country, and finally ending the United States
- 12:39Speaker 6: of America from being ripped off. These judges are threatening
- 12:43Speaker 6: to undermine the credibility of the United States on the
- 12:45Speaker 6: world stage. The Administration has already filed an emergency motion
- 12:49Speaker 6: for a stay pending appeal and an immediate administrative stay
- 12:52Speaker 6: to strike down this degregious decision, but ultimately the Supreme
- 12:56Speaker 6: Court must put an end to this for the sake
- 12:58Speaker 6: of our constitution in our country.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Not only is Carolyn Levin correct in what she said there,
- 13:04Speaker 1: but saying that the court has no role in this
- 13:06Speaker 1: the way that she described it, She's absolutely right about
- 13:08Speaker 1: that as well. Donald Trump saying this quote, I don't
- 13:12Speaker 1: chicken out on tariffs. It's called negotiations, also talking about
- 13:17Speaker 1: how he is willing to work with other countries, but
- 13:19Speaker 1: he's not going to have America taken advantage of anymore.
- 13:23Speaker 1: The NEC director Hassett also was on Maria Bartromo show
- 13:27Speaker 1: on Fox Business this morning, and here is what he
- 13:30Speaker 1: had to say as well about the negotiations, the tariffs,
- 13:35Speaker 1: and the courts.
- 13:36Speaker 7: Gentleman as White House nationallyc and I'm a Council Director,
- 13:39Speaker 7: Kevin Hasset. Kevin, good to see you.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Thanks so much.
- 13:42Speaker 7: I think the reporters at this point know how to
- 13:45Speaker 7: talk to President Trump by using the term chickening out.
- 13:48Speaker 7: What's your reaction?
- 13:50Speaker 8: Yeah, well, actually, I think if President Trump had just
- 13:53Speaker 8: a minute more, if you go back into the room
- 13:55Speaker 8: behind the oval, he's got all his hats and things
- 13:58Speaker 8: over there, Yes, and he has a hat which is
- 14:00Speaker 8: the accurate response to what that person said, which is
- 14:02Speaker 8: Trump always wins. Go Look, a lot of people aware
- 14:06Speaker 8: that had Trump always wins and Trump was always right,
- 14:08Speaker 8: those are the two. But Trump does always win these
- 14:11Speaker 8: negotiations because we're right. We're right that America has been
- 14:14Speaker 8: mishandled by other governments, that our tariffs are taking them
- 14:18Speaker 8: to the table, and they're coming in with massive concessions,
- 14:22Speaker 8: opening up their markets to our products and lowering their
- 14:25Speaker 8: tariffs on us. And so this trade negotiation season has
- 14:30Speaker 8: been really, really effective for the American people, and it's
- 14:33Speaker 8: unfortunate that people would attack it as the journalists did,
- 14:37Speaker 8: or the way the judges just do.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Did you know that these activist.
- 14:40Speaker 8: Judges are trying to slow down something right in the
- 14:42Speaker 8: middle of really important negotiations. And the idea that the
- 14:46Speaker 8: FENTONL crisis in America is not an emergency is so
- 14:49Speaker 8: appalling to me that I'm sure that when we appeal
- 14:52Speaker 8: that this decision will be overturned.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Well, I mean, that's the thing.
- 14:55Speaker 7: I mean the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of nineteen
- 14:59Speaker 7: seventy seven is that the courts are deeming to say, look,
- 15:04Speaker 7: this does this does not equate to an emergency under
- 15:09Speaker 7: this Act of nineteen seventy seven. I know that the
- 15:12Speaker 7: lawyers from the administration immediately appealed, But what do you
- 15:16Speaker 7: want to say about this right now strike down.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Of these global tariffs?
- 15:24Speaker 7: What happens in the interim now, Kevin.
- 15:27Speaker 8: Well, what's going to happen is, first we're going to
- 15:29Speaker 8: see what happens out appeal and are very confident in
- 15:31Speaker 8: our success there because, after all, hundreds and hundreds of
- 15:34Speaker 8: thousands of Americans have died because of mostly Chinese fentinel
- 15:39Speaker 8: and a Chinese sentinel coming in from Mexico and Canada.
- 15:42Speaker 8: And the idea that having more people die from fentanyl
- 15:45Speaker 8: than died in the Vietnam War and that that's not
- 15:46Speaker 8: an emergency that we need to use every power that
- 15:49Speaker 8: we have to try to address is ludicrous to me.
- 15:52Speaker 2: But the second thing is that.
- 15:54Speaker 8: The trade law is very complex, and this part of
- 15:58Speaker 8: the trade law is the thing that was most accurately used,
- 16:01Speaker 8: that very precisely used by USTR Trade Representative Javison Gear,
- 16:06Speaker 8: because this is the one where we actually have the
- 16:09Speaker 8: most authority for doing what we're exactly doing. But there
- 16:11Speaker 8: are three or four other ways to do it, and
- 16:14Speaker 8: we don't have to go into the numbers right now,
- 16:16Speaker 8: I think everybody will go back to sleeper. But the
- 16:18Speaker 8: fact is that there are things that measures that we
- 16:20Speaker 8: could take with different numbers that we could start right now.
- 16:23Speaker 8: There are different approaches that would take a couple of
- 16:26Speaker 8: months to put these in place and using procedures that
- 16:30Speaker 8: have been approved in the past, were approved in the
- 16:32Speaker 8: last administration. But we're not planning to pursue those right
- 16:36Speaker 8: now because we're very, very confident that this really isn'tcorrect.
- 16:40Speaker 1: And sure enough, the ruling was incorrect, and that's why
- 16:45Speaker 1: there's such confidence there from him on this. Pierre Navarro
- 16:48Speaker 1: at the White House, obviously dealing with a lot of
- 16:50Speaker 1: the trade issues as well, was asked about this. And
- 16:54Speaker 1: by the way, Donald Trump has also come out with
- 16:56Speaker 1: a new statement and he said tariffs are actually helping,
- 17:02Speaker 1: not hurting Americans. Some of the media I've been saying, oh,
- 17:05Speaker 1: it's turning Americans, turning Americans. He said, no, that's not
- 17:08Speaker 1: what's happening here. You're wrong that the cost of the terroriffs.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Is that an acknowledgement that it is. Where somebody's been there,
- 17:16Speaker 4: the teriff's not work.
- 17:19Speaker 9: Sometimes the country will eat it, sometimes Walmart will eat it.
- 17:23Speaker 9: And sometimes it will be something to be pay something extra.
- 17:26Speaker 9: I've always been a fan, and I've always believed. And
- 17:29Speaker 9: if you look, take a look at what I did
- 17:32Speaker 9: four years ago. We had the greatest economy and we
- 17:34Speaker 9: had no inflation. Remember that we had no inflation. And
- 17:38Speaker 9: yet we had hundreds of billions of dollars of tariffs
- 17:42Speaker 9: that I put on China. Yet we had no inflation.
- 17:45Speaker 9: We had no big cost differential. Oftentimes, and don't I
- 17:50Speaker 9: don't like it when the Department serve because they'll do
- 17:53Speaker 9: a lot of business, but you know, they announced record
- 17:55Speaker 9: profits and everything else, they have to take out some
- 17:57Speaker 9: of their profits. I'll make a little bit less money.
- 18:00Speaker 4: But I don't want I don't want the consumer.
- 18:02Speaker 9: I don't want the consumer to pay. Why Europa, they're
- 18:07Speaker 9: not hurting, they're helping because they're creating jobs. In America.
- 18:10Speaker 9: We're creating tremendous amounts of jobs in America like you've
- 18:13Speaker 9: never seen. We're having investment in America. We're not getting
- 18:16Speaker 9: ripped off by every country in the world. We've been
- 18:18Speaker 9: ripped off by every country in the world. They're making
- 18:21Speaker 9: their product, they sell it. They don't give our people
- 18:24Speaker 9: the jobs. They make them with other countries' jobs, and
- 18:27Speaker 9: we will have something that nobody will ever see again.
- 18:32Speaker 9: I think, I think we have a potential to do
- 18:35Speaker 9: numbers that we never envisioned in the wild. As yere
- 18:37Speaker 9: look at look at what's happening ten to twelve threellion
- 18:41Speaker 9: dollars in literally a couple of months. It's not nothing
- 18:46Speaker 9: like that's ever happened. It's a very special We're doing
- 18:49Speaker 9: a very special thing we want if they're going to
- 18:52Speaker 9: sell it here. Generally speaking, not for all products. There's
- 18:54Speaker 9: some products we don't want to make. Frankly, we're much
- 18:57Speaker 9: better off getting getting them elsewhere. But for certain products
- 19:00Speaker 9: who want cars, we want to make cars.
- 19:02Speaker 2: We don't want to have an il like Canada very much.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Isn't it amazing to have someone like this in office
- 19:09Speaker 1: who actually puts the American worker first, who also doesn't
- 19:12Speaker 1: allow for these just straight up lies that are coming
- 19:15Speaker 1: out to continue to be said.
- 19:18Speaker 2: And that is the part that we should all be
- 19:20Speaker 2: so thankful for.
- 19:22Speaker 1: You can follow this next story under the category of
- 19:25Speaker 1: you don't hate the deep State enough and exactly what
- 19:29Speaker 1: they've been hiding from you.
- 19:31Speaker 2: The FBI Deputy Director Dan.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Bongino has announced the discovery of a previously undisclosed room
- 19:38Speaker 1: at the FBI headquarters containing a trove of documents from
- 19:43Speaker 1: former Director James Comey's tenure. Bongino described the room as
- 19:49Speaker 1: quote hidden from us, and noted that many of the
- 19:54Speaker 1: materials were not processed through standard FBI procedures such as
- 20:00Speaker 1: digitization or proper cataloging. Some documents were reportedly found stored
- 20:06Speaker 1: in bags, raising concerns about potential mishandling of evidence during
- 20:12Speaker 1: Comy's tenure. Bongino also emphasized the FBI's commitment to transparency,
- 20:20Speaker 1: stating that efforts are now underway to to classify these materials.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Here is more of James Comy talking about all of
- 20:28Speaker 1: this on Fox and Friends.
- 20:30Speaker 10: As of Jim Comey, because he cannot control himself and
- 20:33Speaker 10: his emotions, he is a child, He is a big child.
- 20:36Speaker 10: Then let me tell you one more thing. Jim Comey,
- 20:39Speaker 10: who wants you to Jim Comey taking a shot at
- 20:41Speaker 10: the president. Oh look at me. I'm such a victim.
- 20:43Speaker 10: The President's going after me. He's making a ton of
- 20:46Speaker 10: money on this book. The only person that got prosecuted
- 20:48Speaker 10: was the president. Jim Comey, we're finding stuff even now wait,
- 20:53Speaker 10: you read the stuff that's coming out.
- 20:54Speaker 11: Does does he still have loyalists in the building, Because
- 20:58Speaker 11: when I hear the FBI director saying, you guys are
- 21:00Speaker 11: finding boxes that are hidden, Okay, how does that happen
- 21:05Speaker 11: in the bureau?
- 21:07Speaker 10: Well, we were there a couple of weeks and luckily
- 21:11Speaker 10: there are a lot of people up there who grabbed
- 21:14Speaker 10: us by the arm the middle. We came in and said,
- 21:16Speaker 10: thank you for being here. You know, we need to talk.
- 21:19Speaker 10: There are people there who are really horrified at what happened.
- 21:22Speaker 10: And there was a room and we found stuff, a
- 21:27Speaker 10: lot of stuff hidden room. I wouldn't call it hidden,
- 21:29Speaker 10: but hidden from us at least and not mentioned to us.
- 21:33Speaker 10: And then we found stuff in there and a lot
- 21:35Speaker 10: of it's from the Komi era. And we are working
- 21:38Speaker 10: our damn this right now to declassifying. Just so you know,
- 21:41Speaker 10: because I get the public, I totally understand people saying
- 21:43Speaker 10: we'll do it now.
- 21:45Speaker 2: The process is not.
- 21:46Speaker 10: All the information is ours to classify some as other
- 21:49Speaker 10: intelligence agencies.
- 21:50Speaker 2: It's not.
- 21:50Speaker 10: We literally can't do it. Once that gets done and
- 21:53Speaker 10: that gets out there, and you read some of the
- 21:55Speaker 10: stuff we found that, by the way, was not processed
- 21:57Speaker 10: through the normal procedure digitizing, putting in FBI records were
- 22:01Speaker 10: found it in bags hiding under Jim call. Yeah, you're
- 22:05Speaker 10: going to be stuck.
- 22:06Speaker 8: Now.
- 22:06Speaker 1: There's one thing that Dan Bongino made very clear. It
- 22:09Speaker 1: is a process that he wants to be transparent with
- 22:12Speaker 1: the American people, and the declassification of these materials is underway.
- 22:18Speaker 1: He as you heard him say, it's complex because many
- 22:21Speaker 1: of these issues involve other intelligence agencies and the FBI
- 22:25Speaker 1: does not have the right to classify their intelligence.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I also assured you that once the appropriate processes are completed,
- 22:35Speaker 1: the findings will be shared, and he anticipates that the
- 22:38Speaker 1: revelations will be quote significant.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Now. This development also aligns.
- 22:43Speaker 1: With broader insues by the current FBI leadership, including the
- 22:47Speaker 1: Director Cash Mattel, to revisit and bring transparency to past investigations.
- 22:54Speaker 1: These efforts encompass re examining high profile cases such as
- 22:58Speaker 1: the January sixth pipe bomb, the twenty twenty two dob
- 23:02Speaker 1: Supreme Court leak, and the twenty twenty three discovery of
- 23:06Speaker 1: cocaine at the White House. Now, the actions from the
- 23:09Speaker 1: FBI now reflect a renewed focus on accountability and restoring
- 23:14Speaker 1: public trust in the FBI. The agency's provocative steps to
- 23:19Speaker 1: uncover and address pass oversights demonstrate a commitment to upholding
- 23:24Speaker 1: the integrity of their operations, something that Donald Trump promised
- 23:28Speaker 1: every American if he was re elected, and he's making
- 23:31Speaker 1: good on that promise now. In the issue of transparency,
- 23:35Speaker 1: the FBI has made it very clear they're willing to
- 23:38Speaker 1: answer questions, have conversations, and the FBI Director Cash Bettel
- 23:43Speaker 1: set down with Brett Barett Fox News and what did
- 23:46Speaker 1: he ask him? Well, several questions including what keeps you
- 23:50Speaker 1: up at night?
- 23:52Speaker 11: What's the thing that keeps you up at night?
- 23:55Speaker 12: The CCP for a whole host of reasons. We haven't
- 23:58Speaker 12: even talked about their cyberspc our campaign, what they're doing undersea,
- 24:02Speaker 12: what Russia's doing over head in terms of space, and
- 24:06Speaker 12: their cyber intrusion capabilities like Salt Typhoon. They have made
- 24:11Speaker 12: wildly successful penetrations into our telecommunications infrastructure. And what they
- 24:15Speaker 12: do is they suck up our information. Breton, this is
- 24:17Speaker 12: what keeps me up at night. They're playing the long game.
- 24:20Speaker 12: The Fentyl production by the CCP, I firmly believe is
- 24:24Speaker 12: their way of killing tens of thousands of military age
- 24:29Speaker 12: men and women in the United States of America. They
- 24:31Speaker 12: are wiping out generations of Americas that could come here
- 24:36Speaker 12: and be an FBI agent. All right, So let's just
- 24:38Speaker 12: talk to the future here.
- 24:40Speaker 2: How do you see this the job?
- 24:42Speaker 12: Is it different than you thought it was coming in?
- 24:46Speaker 2: How do you look at a big picture?
- 24:47Speaker 12: Look, there's two ways I look at it. One, you're
- 24:50Speaker 12: talking to a first generation Indian kid whose parents fled
- 24:53Speaker 12: genocide and their sons now the director of the FBI
- 24:56Speaker 12: only in America, literally only in America. So I wanted
- 25:00Speaker 12: to inspire people to come to places like this and
- 25:02Speaker 12: train with us and serve this country. The other thing
- 25:06Speaker 12: that I want people to take away from that is
- 25:10Speaker 12: there is no job on God's green Earth that prepares
- 25:13Speaker 12: you to lead an agency or department. There isn't anyone
- 25:15Speaker 12: who tells you otherwise is flat out lying or being
- 25:18Speaker 12: politically preposterous. And I learn every single day I learn
- 25:23Speaker 12: from the leadership team. I have folks in there around
- 25:26Speaker 12: my table every morning who come from so many different
- 25:30Speaker 12: walks of life, people I disagree with on a daily basis,
- 25:34Speaker 12: and I'm so glad that they're in that room, because
- 25:37Speaker 12: they are the ones helping me make these decisions. What
- 25:40Speaker 12: we won't stand for is people turning around on social
- 25:42Speaker 12: media and attacking folks who are doing the job. We
- 25:46Speaker 12: will stand up for them. We will also out anyone
- 25:50Speaker 12: who violates their oath of office at the FBI, Intel
- 25:52Speaker 12: analyst agents, support staff. What happened, we already have and
- 25:55Speaker 12: every time we do. Brett, this is the thing the
- 25:58Speaker 12: media doesn't pick up on. We announce it, but I
- 26:00Speaker 12: don't take a victory lap. It's all out there. Dozens
- 26:03Speaker 12: of people have been dealt with for politicizing the FBI,
- 26:07Speaker 12: for weaponizing it. Everything from Hunter Biden's laptop to January
- 26:10Speaker 12: sixth to Neil Team six and everything else has been
- 26:12Speaker 12: dealt with, and we keep going.
- 26:14Speaker 1: I expect we're going to get a lot more information
- 26:17Speaker 1: out of the FBI, as transparency seems to be the
- 26:19Speaker 1: number one thing the President and cashpertteller advocating for.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Don't forget Grab.
