- Scott Miller: All right, folks, welcome to the Political Matrix News for a special extra little addition. Something we kind of have to do after people, know, ⁓ as a policy amongst us is something we are required to do every time someone takes a shot at the president. ⁓ As we've, now this is now the third or fourth time, you know, depending on how you count them, I guess we need to start scheduling these things. Greg Fink: Yes. No matter who he is. Right. I guess, I mean, everybody keeps on saying from the left that the right wingers are so angry at Obama and angry at Biden, but we never had to do this. We never did. Scott Miller: I was angry at Bill Clinton and Obama and I never thought once about doing anything even approaching this. Greg Fink: No, and this is just crazy talk, but the crazy and the victory all and all the ⁓ Anger is on the side of the left at the moment and it seems like we had a for those who don't know a shooter charged the White House Correspondents Dinner last night April 25th and ⁓ Wow, thank God for Secret Service for catching them Scott Miller: You know, it just kills me how mystified these people on the left seem to be. They are in any way responsible for the temperature of political debate in America these days. ⁓ of course not. Jamie Raskin, what did Jamie Raskin, I'd hate to misquote him. Don't we have a clip of him? Let's play that clip. Greg Fink: They're not. They're not responsible. Yeah, let's go ahead and share what Jamie had to say. And for those who don't know, he's a little guy out there and a little politician in the North, North part of the country. Scott Miller: think he's from, or represented from Maryland maybe, I think. Greg Fink: Maybe, yeah. You Scott Miller: That is so funny. can't, I mean, he literally, literally in one breath says, says, says I'm not, I only talked to him about policy. And then in literally the next breath, he talks about, you know, you know, authoritarianism and, and, murdering, murdering people and stuff like that. mean, come on. I mean, even Dana Bash, Dana Bash of CNN recognizes this and Jamie Raskin can't. Greg Fink: It is ridiculous. Scott Miller: I mean, what kind of crap is this? Greg Fink: It's very sad. mean, it's just guys, come on. I mean, we talked about our last podcast about all the fundraising fraud and all the people just misusing everything for fundraising. And here's the other part of that is that you're not just raising money, you're raising emotions and you're taking it way beyond the temperature. Exactly. I mean, this guy here is just a sacrificial lamb to them. I mean, Scott Miller: Yeah, well in order to raise money. Greg Fink: He goes in there with a shotgun, a handgun and several knives, I guess according to his manifesto or parts of the manifesto that you have access to now. I mean, he was just in there because he thought that Trump was a horrible, pedophile killing man and this is a Christian thing to do. He's on a mission from God. You know, I mean, it's ridiculous. This is not the Blues Brothers, okay? He's on a mission from God. Scott Miller: No, no, and his exact statement in his manifesto was, am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes. I mean... Greg Fink: Sounds like a lot of the blogs and the podcasts from the left wing. Scott Miller: So you've got the people doing the fundraising, the politicians mostly, but not just the politicians, the nonprofits out there literally saying every word he's saying there. And Jamie Raskin doesn't think that they're going too far? Greg Fink: No, no he doesn't. He probably doesn't think they went far enough. Scott Miller: Well, he thinks that's just policy. call it, they're using those words with policy. Trump has a policy of being a pedophile, a policy of being a rapist, a policy of being a traitor. No, it's not policy. Greg Fink: Right. No, it's personal attacks. Scott Miller: Those are the very definition of personal attacks. Greg Fink: And people didn't like it when we were personally attacking from the left, so we personally attacked Biden. But nobody did anything like this. They attacked Obama. They attacked W for being dumb and everything. They attacked Obama for being an African-American president. And granted, there's a lot of hate or racism on both sides. I mean, it wasn't a Republican or Democrat thing. It's ignorant people. Ignorant people do this. And you guys are seizing money and raising money off the ignorance of people. This guy is a smart guy. He's an MIT guy. He's a teacher. mean, he's a very Caltech guy, sorry. He's an intelligent guy. And so he wasn't dumb per se, but his emotions were based on ignorance. His emotions were based on hate and you're feeling it. Stop it. Scott Miller: I'm not in Caltech. And you know what, that's the real problem with this whole thing is that they're not, it's not a function of intelligence. It's a function of manipulation. You can be smart, but you can have a sensitive part in your soul and empathy for something, and now you feel like you need to defend these downtrodden folks and people that you respect, that you feel are, Greg Fink: No. Exactly. Scott Miller: are, you know, are, you know, authoritative people who know what they're talking about and wouldn't be just saying things to be saying them are telling you that this man is a pedophile, rapist and traitor. Well, what are you going to do? Personally, I think he, I think at his heart, he's a good, but horribly misguided person. Greg Fink: Right. mean, the thing is, we see this a lot and this seems to be just comes out of their mouth like air on the people who hate Trump. mean, it's, you know, it's almost like they introduced Trump as a rabid pedophile traitor. I mean, it seems like their introduction for him before they even say it. And that whole mentality, I mean, yeah, we're all for freedom of speech, but freedom has a responsibility. It can't scream a fire in a movie theater. It can't keep telling people. to do things to incite violence to kill the president. You can't do that. Scott Miller: can't normalize killing the president. mean, yeah, frankly, normalizing killing anyone is a bad thing. by normalizing this, know, earlier or that very evening, you know, late night shows are not broadcast live. Okay, well, you know, they're pre-recorded and then, well, they used to be and now they're just pre-recorded. Greg Fink: For anybody. For anybody. Here you are. Right. I don't think they are. Right. Scott Miller: Um, and sometime in the afternoon and they just get them on both coasts. got a clear earlier in the evening recorded and recorded was, you know, Jimmy Kimmel, who, you know, obviously loves president Trump. Um, let me see if I, is that sucker at? ⁓ Sure that's and here watch this ⁓ lord. Yeah. Okay, but but I mean so I mean Jimmy Kimmel is there calling Donald Trump a pedophile ⁓ and Calling Melania an expectant widow. I Mean ⁓ that's practically calling for someone to do exactly exactly what this guy did. ⁓ ⁓ I mean ⁓ I don't think that they were colluding or anything, but it is very strange that just so happened. It's not that they were colluding. It's that they call him this, a pedophile, and they call for people to do this so often that it just lined up coincidentally. But when you do it 100 times, it's not a coincidence anymore. Greg Fink: The responsibility factor is no... No. Exactly. No, not. mean, it's basically a calculated effort on the left to make everybody feel like they're okay with hurting or killing the president. I mean, it's ginning up violence. It's ginning up everything. Scott Miller: work this night. Yeah. Like if Donald, if Donald Trump were killed, it'd it'd be just fine. Right. That's what they're saying. That's what normalizing it. This event that we had last night is exactly what you get when you normalize this kind of conversation, this kind of thing. You normalize that, you know, actually what they're normalizing is this type of fundraising, you know, it goes far beyond the conversation. They, you know, they're positioning. Greg Fink: Yeah, that's exactly what they're saying. Scott Miller: him as a villain so that they can be the white knight to come in here and rescue everybody. And this is what you get. Greg Fink: Now, what was the organization he was a part of? You said White Awakenings? Scott Miller: ⁓ the wide awakes, I think is something like it. Yeah, which they're extra woke. They're extra woke. Greg Fink: wide awake. So I guess their versions are awake. They're actually awake. And they're trying to make sure everybody's actually awake or wide awake. I mean, come on guys. I mean, if y'all don't understand the analogies or the parallels here of what you're doing and how it's hurt. I mean, we get the summer of love last year where everybody just protested and tore apart property all over college campuses all over the country. The last couple summers. And we get how y'all thought that was wonderful and peaceful and great and glorious. And it's got to stop, guys. Come on. Let's get back to talking. Let's everything in caps on. Realize this guy's not going to be around for, you you don't like Trump, he's not going to be around forever. Next president you're not going to like, he's on the right. Next president on the left, the right isn't going to like. And so the whole point is that we're all going to have opinions, and we're all going to disagree. But let's start talking. Let's get back to it. Let's knock off this violence crap. This whole thing, you want to tear down buildings and burn down buildings and everything else and destroy people and kill people. Let's stop it. Scott Miller: Well, I just say, you know, at least own it. If you're going to be such a reprehensible person and think that this is normal, own it. Don't sit there like Jamie Raskin and pretend what I do. The left superpower is gaslighting America. Greg Fink: Yeah, I it, Yeah, that worked. Exactly, Maxine Waters was telling everybody, get in your face, get in your face. know, back when she was doing that several years ago. And that seems to be the occurrence, reoccurrence on the left's mentality. And they keep saying that we're the ones who are angry, we're the ones who are violent. Okay, first of all, when they start talking about Iran or any kind of war stuff, we're killing bad people, we're killing terrorists, we're killing drug dealers. I mean, that's supposed to be, or used to be, a heralded good thing. Scott Miller: Yeah, I remember that. Greg Fink: It used to be like if you watch those old westerns, good guys and bad guys, I mean the good guys, always, now if you're rooting for the bad guys and you're just probably one of those guys who's probably gonna end up in jail probably by the time you're 35 because you wanna be a bad guy. you know, mean, you know, I mean guys, this, you know, he's not doing anything different. Now the difference that he is doing, I will say, is that he is doing everything. with many more cameras and microscopes on him. He's doing things with AI at a full level now, to where he takes advantage of it and sometimes carelessly, and other people take advantage of it maliciously to hurt him and to hurt the narratives or create narratives through AI and through social media and through all the different cameras and audio devices everywhere. And so, yeah, we didn't have all this back during Clinton or Reagan. Scott Miller: Mm-hmm. Greg Fink: or Bush first, or even the second Bush, or even Obama. It was all in the very incubation stage of Facebook and Twitter and everything. I mean, it was not at the grand scale that it is now. And so, yeah, we're seeing things differently. And y'all are attacking him differently and ginning up the hate differently, but at the same time, own it. Quit hiding behind things and saying you're not doing it or trying to play a cop out. Scott Miller: But don't pretend you're not who we can plainly see you are. Greg Fink: Exactly. you know, thank God nothing happened. Because people don't realize, you know, or maybe they do realize, that whether you like the guy or not, once you shoot the leader of a nation, it creates chaos and spirals chaos everywhere. And it's never a good thing. You're not like Trump, you don't have to vote for him again. But you don't need to endorse people to shoot him or kill him. Scott Miller: No, I mean, it's why, what would make you think that, you know, that we can't, that we're not connecting those? Well, I don't know. You know what? I guess what makes them think that we won't connect the dots? The fact that we haven't connected them so far, or at least their voters haven't. Although, although, you know, with what we're seeing, what we're seeing in the current elections and some of the prosecutions that are coming up. Greg Fink: Exactly. Voters have it. Scott Miller: Maybe it's going to be quite a while before a Democrat can win without their enhanced campaigning, let's call it. Greg Fink: We'll be enhanced campaigning. I think they're trying to enhance all their districts as well and all their different states for the Electoral College. And that's one thing that people aren't really understanding is that this whole redistricting isn't just about Congressional or the House. It's about the Electoral College, which is a mirror of the Congressional districts. And so it affects everything a lot more. So that's reason why everything has to be done properly through the right scope of the Constitution of that state. and cannot do anything to violate the Constitution at all. And whenever they start saying that Trump is getting in the way of that, they're calling him authoritarian. Whenever they start saying that, you know, all the states need to enforce their own laws and our Constitution, they for some reason think that that is outrageous and, you know, horrible. Guys, he's asking you all to enforce your own laws of your own state, which is what an executive should do. mean, come on. Seriously. Scott Miller: Yeah, for real. Uh-oh. Well, I mean, this whole narrative about this redistricting, they're talking about Trump as if he is, ⁓ or not even Trump, as if the Republicans are the ones that started this whole strategic redistricting thing. Well, I'm pretty confident that it was Biden who first was the one that created this narrative that we have to count every person. in the district, regardless of whether they're citizens or not. then, exactly. And then now, and as of right now, before we even start redoing this California thing, what is the percentage of repup-? So what is the percentage of repup-? Greg Fink: Exactly. Which means... Scott Miller: registered registered republicans to democrats in Greg Fink: Kind of like, you know, be careful what you ask for, you might get it. I mean, they asked for all the illegals to come over, had a record pace, and that shifts the entire population shift. And you have to document the lease of shift. So you gotta, you know, you gotta figure it out. You can't have this big shift of people, then there's no way to address it. What? Scott Miller: So right now, you know, as far as registered Democrats, Republicans in California, there's 40, 45 % Democrat, 25 % Republican, and the rest are NPAs or other minor parties. Greg Fink: So there we go, so below 50. Scott Miller: Well, that fewer than 50, I'm not percent it. Well, yeah, I guess, well, I mean, they are below 50, but I mean, but I mean, the MPA is the other part. You know, I both know that. Greg Fink: Yeah, 45%, yeah. Well, I yeah, but I think most people think of California as being like a 75 % Democrat state because that's the way the district is. Scott Miller: ⁓ yeah, you would think, because it's ⁓ 42 Democrats to seven Republicans. Greg Fink: Exactly. That seems fair. Scott Miller: And the Republicans are the ones that started this gerrymandering thing? Really? Really? Greg Fink: Really? Come on. Yeah, and nobody's endorsing anybody trying to do this to Gavin Newsom or any other Democrat governor or the crazy guy from Illinois. Nobody's endorsing this. mean, you know, the hate and the victory, and they're just as reprehensible on their side and on the left side as Trump is to them on the right side. mean, in fact, they actually endorse killing innocent people. They seem to think it's okay for drug dealers to not need a... anybody arresting them at all. I they seem to be upset whenever we send ICE agents or any kind of law enforcement support to the struggling law enforcement agencies of those two states to keep their own people safe. I mean, they seem to think that's a bad thing because safety is horrible. Scott Miller: Well, I get it. But like I said, know, you, you, you know, the, the party registration is 45 % Democrat. The congressional seats are 80 % Democrat. And that's, and it's the Republicans, it's the red States that got started this. What it is is the red States that finally decided they had enough. And Greg Fink: Yeah. It was our fault. Well it's also the red states that will actually turn over their documentation to the feds to make sure everything is open and transparent and the blue states will not. Scott Miller: Well that's true, but that has nothing to do with our gerrymandering. Greg Fink: No, it doesn't, but it has to do with, basically I think their jerrymandering is based off false data and our jerry, and our realignment in the red states is based off real data. Scott Miller: Well, basically what you're saying there is, that if their data was, if the data was even worse than what their cover up ain't much of a cover up because you know, the, the, story they're telling is, is certainly nothing to be proud of. know, a 40 % difference in, in party representation. versus party affiliation versus representation. And there is absolutely no justification for that. And Maryland is about, so they're trying to make it worse with this new bill. It would go from seven elected Republicans to one or two in a state that is only 40 % Democrat, 45 % Democrat. Greg Fink: Exactly. None. Scott Miller: So that basically that would go from 80 % up to about 88 or 90%. Just, you know, quick off the cuff. Greg Fink: Yeah. But, and they think that Trump's the evil guy. Scott Miller: And it's the Republicans that are doing it. We've said for a long time, if they got rid of all the dang illegals in California, that they'd lose five seats to begin with. Greg Fink: Alright, they don't want to those. Scott Miller: They definitely don't want to lose theirs. This is how desperate they are to do this. How desperate they are to cover up the things they're doing. The reason that they won't share their data. The Republicans, the red states are happy to share their data. The blue states, ⁓ God, we can't do that because then we would see what they're doing. Greg Fink: No they do not. ⁓ true. Exactly. It's a big show game of a lot of government money. ⁓ I mean, the harsh reality here is that people need to wake up to the fact that you just can't be trying to kill the president to make everything work. This guy, what's his name, Cole Elyon is the guy's name. Cole Allen. ⁓ Scott Miller: Mm-hmm. Call Aaron. Greg Fink: I'm sure several more out there that are going to try to do copycats just like this and it's going to be a it's going to be a mess. Scott Miller: Yeah, right. I was, yes, I mean, you have all these people geared up and we're gonna be extra vigilant, extra vigilant, good God, vigilant. Extra vigilant for a while, but, you know, it's, Greg Fink: Vigilant. Scott Miller: All you got, you know, they have, ⁓ I remember for a long time, they said, all you have to do to kill an American president is be willing to die yourself. And I don't know exactly, clearly that's not completely true because this guy was clearly willing to and although to be fair he didn't, but what he did was certainly, you know, running face, you know, headlong into the ability to do it. got to dial down this rhetoric. is, and it's even, ⁓ you know, actually it's not even dialing it down. We to stop, ⁓ start calling it what it is and stop calling it news. Cause it's not the news. What this is are fundraising narratives. And we have to call them that because that's all they are. Greg Fink: Exactly. Yeah, I agree. Scott Miller: And anytime someone's talking to you, anytime someone's spewing one of these talking points in front of you, just call it what it is. Fundraising narratives, please let's just talk about facts. Because they can't. When you ask them questions about specific events that prove what they're saying, they never can. Greg Fink: Exactly and now we just need to get back to the basics and Exactly. Well you guys have a wonderful day here. Thanks a lot for joining me here today Scott. It's a very cool impromptu podcast here Scott Miller: Just back to basics. Always, always a pleasure. Greg Fink: way it is and yeah I look forward to seeing you guys later in the week. Scott Miller: Alright, like, follow, and subscribe and we'll get you, we'll keep you up to date.
