- 2:07Speaker 1: listening to the voice come on dig me now, one
- 2:10Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I feel
- 2:13Speaker 1: it's necessary to explain what I say in the morning
- 2:16Speaker 1: because somebody asked me, what do you mean by that
- 2:19Speaker 1: when you say that in the morning. When I say,
- 2:23Speaker 1: uh huh, it's in response to David Hollister opening the
- 2:27Speaker 1: song by saying, go ahead, big Daddy, go ahead, I said,
- 2:31Speaker 1: uh huh. I show will. Then I say good morning everybody.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Because I was raised at Ray, You're supposed to speak
- 2:37Speaker 1: when you come in the room. I'm coming in y'all's room.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Whether it's your bad room, the room in your house,
- 2:43Speaker 1: your car, your office, you know, wherever you at. I
- 2:47Speaker 1: come in the room, I God speaks. I said, good morning, everybody.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice. And then I got
- 2:53Speaker 1: to introduce myself because as a performer, I always felt
- 2:58Speaker 1: my best when I was introduced. Know, why would you
- 3:01Speaker 1: walk out on stage anybody introduce you? You know you
- 3:03Speaker 1: can't get the round of applause. It's just it's horrible.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So I say, you are listening to the voice one
- 3:09Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey. Come on, dig me now. Now
- 3:14Speaker 1: that's old school. I got that, but that's I was
- 3:16Speaker 1: once again, dig me Now? Is I want you to
- 3:20Speaker 1: feel what I'm about to say. That's all I'm saying.
- 3:24Speaker 1: That's not a bragging thing. You know, you're listening to
- 3:27Speaker 1: the voice wanting only Steve Harvey. Come on, dig me now.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm just asking you to feel what I'm saying in
- 3:33Speaker 1: the morning, because it's part of a promise that I
- 3:36Speaker 1: made to God. See a long time ago, I told
- 3:39Speaker 1: God if he allowed me to make it, that when
- 3:42Speaker 1: I got there, I would tell everybody I know how
- 3:45Speaker 1: I did it. And I wasn't gonna shortcut it or
- 3:49Speaker 1: shad h on it. I said, if you allow me
- 3:51Speaker 1: to make it, if you give me the strength, the courage,
- 3:55Speaker 1: the wisdom. You gave me a gift, if you let
- 3:58Speaker 1: me apply it, don't destroy myself in the process. Forgive
- 4:03Speaker 1: me for my sins along the way. Continue to hold
- 4:06Speaker 1: and rock me when I need it. When I make it,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I promise you Lord, when I get there, I will
- 4:13Speaker 1: tell everybody how I made it. Well. This started back
- 4:18Speaker 1: in l A when I got on the radio and
- 4:23Speaker 1: uh I was making it okay, I was doing okay,
- 4:26Speaker 1: but I had to keep my promise to God. My
- 4:29Speaker 1: promise was, if you allow me to make it, I'll
- 4:32Speaker 1: tell everybody how I got there. I have to tell
- 4:37Speaker 1: you that every day because if it was not for
- 4:40Speaker 1: that grace and mercy, I wouldn't even be here able
- 4:44Speaker 1: to fulfill my promise, because I've done enough dirt in
- 4:47Speaker 1: my life. Man to not be worthy. He could have
- 4:51Speaker 1: easily walked away from me a long time ago because
- 4:55Speaker 1: I had show walked away from him. See, and I
- 4:58Speaker 1: didn't walk away from him us. I walked away from
- 5:01Speaker 1: him a bunch of times. But guess what he forgave
- 5:05Speaker 1: me a bunch of times he let me back a
- 5:10Speaker 1: bunch of times. He gave me a second chance a
- 5:14Speaker 1: bunch of times. I'm a living example of hundreds of chances.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, hundreds of chances he's given me
- 5:26Speaker 1: to get it right. His forgiveness and his mercy is
- 5:31Speaker 1: available for Everybody's the only reason I get on this
- 5:35Speaker 1: show every day, the only reason I have the blessings
- 5:38Speaker 1: that's coming my way. It's the only way that things
- 5:41Speaker 1: that keep happening in my life, man, that I have
- 5:44Speaker 1: no explanation for, it is because of his grace and mercy. See,
- 5:50Speaker 1: anytime something good happens in my life and I can't
- 5:53Speaker 1: explain it, that's usually him. He's exhibiting to me a
- 6:00Speaker 1: love you man, he exhibits to me. Remember, I'm a
- 6:05Speaker 1: forgiving god man. Remember, So when you fall, Steve, don't
- 6:09Speaker 1: lay down there. Don't you lay down there. Don't you
- 6:11Speaker 1: let the devil fool you that because you had made
- 6:14Speaker 1: some mistakes that you ain't that you can't do it,
- 6:18Speaker 1: because everybody's gonna make them. There's none perfect, no, not once.
- 6:21Speaker 1: So get up, keep moving, keep pushing, step on what
- 6:27Speaker 1: you're laying there for. Your daddy didn't raise you that way. Look, man,
- 6:32Speaker 1: my father was just about manhood. I'm gonna just tell
- 6:34Speaker 1: you my daddy never had a conversation with me about church.
- 6:38Speaker 1: He beat me for not going, but you know a
- 6:41Speaker 1: couple of times, but he wasn't about that wasn't his message.
- 6:44Speaker 1: That was my mama's job. My mama taught me about
- 6:47Speaker 1: being saved, about loving the Lord, about giving your life,
- 6:51Speaker 1: about the teachings of Jesus Christ. My mama was a
- 6:54Speaker 1: Sunday school teacher, so I got all of that from her.
- 6:57Speaker 1: My old man ain't had none of that for me.
- 6:59Speaker 1: My old man talked to me by one thing all
- 7:01Speaker 1: day long, hard working manhood. And when you're gonna get
- 7:04Speaker 1: that if you don't get nothing else from me, he
- 7:06Speaker 1: gave that to me. So I got it. See, So
- 7:09Speaker 1: who my father? You said, excuse my language, but you
- 7:12Speaker 1: ain't gonna sit there like no little punk up in here.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You ain't an what you're feeling to do. You're find
- 7:16Speaker 1: to get up and go do what you're puposed to do. Now,
- 7:18Speaker 1: stop all that wine and like some little punking gonna
- 7:21Speaker 1: get the movie. That's how my father talked to me.
- 7:23Speaker 1: And I'm just telling you real it worked. For me though,
- 7:26Speaker 1: and and before you started emailing me, they had nothing
- 7:28Speaker 1: to do with homosexuality at all. It's just that was
- 7:32Speaker 1: his turn for a man not acting like a man.
- 7:35Speaker 1: That's all it was he had. It was not a
- 7:37Speaker 1: gay reference at all. I want you to understand that
- 7:39Speaker 1: before you started emailing me, so my dad wasn't call
- 7:42Speaker 1: and that was not a sexual reference for him. My
- 7:45Speaker 1: father talked to us, That's what he meant. I knew
- 7:47Speaker 1: exactly what he meant. He couldn't admit that he didn't
- 7:49Speaker 1: even know nothing about that. My man clueless when it
- 7:51Speaker 1: comes to that, right there. So when I was getting
- 7:55Speaker 1: down and feeling bad about myself, my old man, he
- 7:58Speaker 1: taught me this toughness. Man. He gave me his grit,
- 8:01Speaker 1: this dogedness, this go to work and work hard. That's
- 8:05Speaker 1: why today when God does bless me with something, he
- 8:08Speaker 1: ain't got to worry about me not working hard because
- 8:12Speaker 1: that's in me. And when I get tired, I asked
- 8:16Speaker 1: that same God for strength to keep on doing so
- 8:19Speaker 1: I can do the blessings he got for me. So
- 8:22Speaker 1: when you asked me how you gonna do all this,
- 8:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, I don't know. I ain't got to figure
- 8:28Speaker 1: that out. All I got to do is show up
- 8:30Speaker 1: with the same amount of faith for being showing up
- 8:32Speaker 1: with God handled the rest of it. See, yeah, hey man,
- 8:36Speaker 1: let me tell yourself. I don't see how you do it.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I don't either kind of can I get? Hey man,
- 8:41Speaker 1: news flash? Let me here. I don't see how you
- 8:44Speaker 1: doing all that? Steve, you're doing this? You doing that?
- 8:46Speaker 1: You know? Can I tell you something? I don't either.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I just wake up with the faith man and trusting
- 8:51Speaker 1: that if he's gonna bless me with it, he must
- 8:53Speaker 1: be gonna show me away how to get it done. See,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I ain't tripping on that part. See I. Once you
- 8:59Speaker 1: take your self out to how to business, you can
- 9:02Speaker 1: go on and get with it. But see, if you're
- 9:04Speaker 1: gonna trip yourself out with the how to, you can't
- 9:07Speaker 1: think like God can think. You can't figure like God
- 9:09Speaker 1: can figure. So now you're sitting up in here, go Lord,
- 9:12Speaker 1: I want this to happen for me. Then I don't
- 9:15Speaker 1: know how I'm gonna do all that. Well, guess what
- 9:17Speaker 1: You're in the way now, see you? Now you in
- 9:20Speaker 1: the way because see, God ain't asked you to figure
- 9:23Speaker 1: out how to? He said, ask and believe. Then he
- 9:27Speaker 1: said faith without works is dead. That's my solution. That's
- 9:32Speaker 1: the concoction that I'm functioning on. See I ask, then
- 9:37Speaker 1: I just believe that He's gonna give it to me.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Then I know whatce I believe at Faith without works
- 9:45Speaker 1: is dead. That's the concoction. Now I put all that
- 9:50Speaker 1: into play. So when God starts dumping these blessings on
- 9:53Speaker 1: me and I don't see how I got him, and
- 9:54Speaker 1: you don't see how you got him, and you you
- 9:56Speaker 1: write about me, you don't know how I'm gonna do
- 9:58Speaker 1: all this, I'll tell you something. I no either. I
- 10:00Speaker 1: ain't got too though. All I got to do is
- 10:04Speaker 1: accept the blessing, keep the faith, be willing to work,
- 10:08Speaker 1: and believe God can do anything but failed. Why would
- 10:13Speaker 1: God bring me this far to leave me? Why would
- 10:17Speaker 1: he bring you this far to leave you? Quit tripping
- 10:23Speaker 1: yourself out trying to think of the way you can
- 10:26Speaker 1: make it happen. Get out the way and let God
- 10:29Speaker 1: show you high can happen and you can have something.
- 10:33Speaker 1: So why I get up every morning? I have no choice.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I got to get up in here. When I'm running late, man,
- 10:40Speaker 1: I try to ply through here. Sometimes I don't make it, man,
- 10:43Speaker 1: I gotta do a rerun. But I ply through here,
- 10:45Speaker 1: because man, Steve, you're gonna run out of something to say. No,
- 10:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna just keep thinking it now. You can't run
- 10:50Speaker 1: out of that, can you? Because you owe him that
- 10:52Speaker 1: a matter of fact, when I get through talking, I
- 10:54Speaker 1: really ain't thanked him enough. You're man, have your tention. Please,
- 11:03Speaker 1: You're undivided is what I would prefer. This is the
- 11:06Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is a Monday morning. So
- 11:11Speaker 1: dig this, get with it, be about it, all of that.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Pick your flavor, pick your polsy, do what you do,
- 11:21Speaker 1: make it go to work. Man, you ever tried to
- 11:26Speaker 1: be clever and you wouldn't do it all the time.
- 11:28Speaker 1: You did it. You did a good job. Did Yeah
- 11:32Speaker 1: that was my example trying to be clever. But what
- 11:36Speaker 1: it was really clever? Like thank you? So I did
- 11:39Speaker 1: my best morning show. Good morning Steve. Yeah, calin for Rell, Hey,
- 11:44Speaker 1: good morning crew. What's up Steve? Well, let's see if
- 11:48Speaker 1: he's okay today. Hello, Junior, that's what I thought. We
- 11:52Speaker 1: were talking about that and we'll do that for thirty something.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Funny Jake, Well, his ass out? What up? Steve Fresh
- 12:01Speaker 1: out for twenty minute weekend. I'm here baby, yeah, yeah, boys,
- 12:09Speaker 1: what Steve say? It got no strip for all this today?
- 12:17Speaker 1: You have a crisis. You have no crisis like what happened.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I invited Junior, his boy Brian, my assistant, and Will
- 12:35Speaker 1: to my house to participate in the country boy workout.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I invited him to my house. Okay, what is that?
- 12:45Speaker 1: I'll explain it to you. It's twenty five years old. Okay,
- 12:49Speaker 1: young boy Junior is thirty nine, his boy Briant is
- 12:54Speaker 1: thirty nine, Will is fifty, and the country boy is
- 13:02Speaker 1: sixty one. Junior, I don't know what happened out there.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Told they asked up girl girl, girl listening to me?
- 13:21Speaker 1: I just you know. I love these brothers, man, I
- 13:23Speaker 1: really do. They They they're good at their job and
- 13:26Speaker 1: their craft. But I have tried to share with them
- 13:29Speaker 1: on several occasions. Everybody always and these are all people
- 13:34Speaker 1: who are I will admit, are huge admirers of mine,
- 13:40Speaker 1: you know, but they are also really really valuable parts
- 13:43Speaker 1: of my support team. And so these guys, my assistant
- 13:47Speaker 1: who graduated top of the class at more House, magnum
- 13:51Speaker 1: uh whatever, man here, yeah, Junior, who writes on all
- 13:59Speaker 1: my show was his boy Brian, who is his assistant,
- 14:03Speaker 1: uh well who is uh my stylists and lifestyle coordinator.
- 14:12Speaker 1: And am I leaving out anybody that it was me?
- 14:17Speaker 1: J So coming back for thirty something funny, I will
- 14:21Speaker 1: explain to you all what the country board work and
- 14:26Speaker 1: why Junior sounds like he do today. Okay, well we
- 14:30Speaker 1: really want to hear about this Junior. You're gonna be able.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Do we need to call this Brian and the other dude,
- 14:36Speaker 1: they're not even here. We'll be back at thirty two
- 14:40Speaker 1: after with something funny. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 14:46Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are time for something funny.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Please tell us what's wrong with you or I'm sitting
- 14:53Speaker 1: right across from him and it's hurting my heart. Well, so,
- 14:55Speaker 1: first of all, you know, I invite these different generations
- 14:59Speaker 1: to my house to work out with me. They hear
- 15:01Speaker 1: about my workout and everything. Yeah, you know, so I
- 15:06Speaker 1: just y'all come on over to the house, y'all. I
- 15:08Speaker 1: have my trainer set up you know station. So the
- 15:11Speaker 1: trainer sets up five stations in my yard, so everybody
- 15:15Speaker 1: starts at So at one station, we go counter and
- 15:19Speaker 1: we go clockwise until you completed all five stations. After
- 15:24Speaker 1: the fifth station, you get a three minute rest. There's
- 15:28Speaker 1: a thirty second transition to get from each station to
- 15:31Speaker 1: each station. So this is how it starts. It starts
- 15:33Speaker 1: with forty five seconds. Go whatever station you're at. You
- 15:37Speaker 1: have to do the workout for forty five straight seconds
- 15:41Speaker 1: as intense as you can. Then he stops it. You
- 15:44Speaker 1: got thirty seconds to get your body to the next
- 15:47Speaker 1: station and get set up. Then he go again forty
- 15:52Speaker 1: five seconds and you just go around to have you've
- 15:55Speaker 1: done five stations. After the fifth station timer goes off,
- 16:00Speaker 1: you get a three minute rest. Oh okay, that's a lot. Okay,
- 16:05Speaker 1: let me ask you this, Steve, before we get too
- 16:07Speaker 1: deep into it. What is the purpose of this? I mean,
- 16:15Speaker 1: is hounds so weak? It's stamina, stamina and st exercises.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Everything is about coordination certain muscle groups. Well, this is
- 16:25Speaker 1: a workout that fires every muscle group in the body. Well,
- 16:30Speaker 1: do they have to do it to keep their job
- 16:32Speaker 1: or I mean just for fun? What is it? Because
- 16:36Speaker 1: you couldn't do this is literally about to die and
- 16:41Speaker 1: front seen. You know variations of the workout just a
- 16:45Speaker 1: little bit man look like you'd be out there getting it.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I said, man, it's hard. I've done that. I do
- 16:54Speaker 1: slam balling work. You just had to lift weight. He
- 16:59Speaker 1: just came up the rate the victory with Tommy in
- 17:03Speaker 1: shape for that smoke. Tommy, this is here. But I'm
- 17:07Speaker 1: just saying, so you went into this so June, you
- 17:10Speaker 1: want to just take it over. I'm gonna tell you
- 17:12Speaker 1: right now this this really makes no sense. First of all,
- 17:16Speaker 1: he wronged. No, this is pain, this is this is
- 17:23Speaker 1: two days old pain that set in. This is Saturday.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, well was late, yeah, one o'clock. And I
- 17:34Speaker 1: just want to say that this is wrong. First of all,
- 17:36Speaker 1: when you're asking people to put a slave for what
- 17:40Speaker 1: can I can I just say something because I have
- 17:43Speaker 1: I saw them before, Steve, and I should have taken
- 17:46Speaker 1: video because they were very chipper. Steve knew I wasn't
- 17:54Speaker 1: going to know. I wasn't. Yeo, man, I have the
- 17:57Speaker 1: video before you got before. No, I have video of
- 18:02Speaker 1: the workout, okay, because they were very chipping talking on
- 18:05Speaker 1: Friday by where they were going and what they were doing,
- 18:08Speaker 1: and a lot of so okay, okay, So let me
- 18:15Speaker 1: give you an example. The first uh, station, let's say,
- 18:20Speaker 1: is the ropes, so you do roponds every time you
- 18:24Speaker 1: go to it. It's a different rope exercise that the
- 18:26Speaker 1: trader has. Okay, then you go to the sled, and
- 18:31Speaker 1: that's pulling the sled down my yard for forty five seconds.
- 18:36Speaker 1: The bear of the sled is fifty five pounds, and
- 18:39Speaker 1: then there's sixty some pounds on top of the sled,
- 18:43Speaker 1: so it's pounds. So did you have like snow or something? No,
- 18:48Speaker 1: sleds built for grass. Oh, because that's rich right there by.
- 18:55Speaker 1: The next station waited logs, weighted logs and fifty pounds.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I made him, I made him throw tens out the
- 19:03Speaker 1: way in the twenties. Well you have that you can
- 19:07Speaker 1: pick from. Needless to say, they was grabbing the twenties
- 19:09Speaker 1: like that. It was gonna go to work. You're not
- 19:11Speaker 1: gonna let Junior finish talk. The next station is the
- 19:17Speaker 1: slam ball, which is twenty five pounds. And then the
- 19:22Speaker 1: next day nothing, nothing's wrong with it's the twenty pounds
- 19:28Speaker 1: plate turn? Does it hate her to laugh? Junior? But Junior,
- 19:35Speaker 1: why does Steve sound like he just does he do
- 19:38Speaker 1: it every day? No? Don't Steve? Can I ask one question,
- 19:41Speaker 1: Hold on, hold, that's a miscachption that I do it
- 19:44Speaker 1: every day. When you do it, I do it, I
- 19:46Speaker 1: do it. That workout right there probably once a week, baby,
- 19:52Speaker 1: And I have one question. Man, who was the most
- 19:55Speaker 1: embarrassing out there. Steve Junior's boy right in, the biggest
- 20:03Speaker 1: guy on the sled. The little Asian dude was filming us.
- 20:11Speaker 1: What's his name, Trip Trip, Trick can Ball and everything.
- 20:16Speaker 1: He's in social media. He's filming it with a big camera.
- 20:20Speaker 1: At one point, Brian was getting filmed and you know
- 20:24Speaker 1: how you get right up on somebody right looked at
- 20:28Speaker 1: him and said, get that camera. Yeah, that's when it's
- 20:35Speaker 1: over with Steve. Yeah, just be we are with Brian
- 20:48Speaker 1: to get that camera, just blanket. That's what I knew
- 20:56Speaker 1: to work out was about over for Brian. I was wondering.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Junior came in. He was like today, he was he
- 21:06Speaker 1: could barely raise his arm to say hello, let alone
- 21:09Speaker 1: actually just speaking. Well, well, let me tell you this
- 21:14Speaker 1: what Brian and Junior. After the first round, my security
- 21:23Speaker 1: Gud called me on my phone. He says, a lot
- 21:25Speaker 1: of cars out front, you need me to come up there,
- 21:27Speaker 1: and there's some people laying in the grass Wow, hanging
- 21:35Speaker 1: there Junior coming up coming up next to this, church
- 21:40Speaker 1: complaints with Reverend Motown and Diacon junr. Oh. Right after this,
- 21:47Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 21:51Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. It's entertainment news. Beyonce
- 21:55Speaker 1: at Coachella. Just call it Bachella because that's what everybody
- 21:59Speaker 1: else is calling. Yeah, they tell us she's making history.
- 22:02Speaker 1: She definitely made history. And we also have today's national news.
- 22:09Speaker 1: But right now it is Monday. It's time for church complaints.
- 22:12Speaker 1: What you got, Reverend Motown and Deacons Jr. You're gonna
- 22:16Speaker 1: be able to special addition of church complaints because our
- 22:25Speaker 1: regular deacon somehow has been somewhere and is weaky and
- 22:32Speaker 1: obviously performing and he can't get here on Monday's all.
- 22:41Speaker 1: The second reason is he has bought one of them
- 22:45Speaker 1: ticket he by that couldn't get changed to get him
- 22:49Speaker 1: here on time. Either way, we must move on. So
- 22:57Speaker 1: first time ever allowed church complaints is the assistant deacon
- 23:04Speaker 1: Deacon Junior, who is under the weather due to a
- 23:11Speaker 1: mound naciousness of a situation that occuld old sad. Let
- 23:20Speaker 1: us begin with the assistant Deacon junior plead Forgil his
- 23:25Speaker 1: youthful boys. Thank you, Passing Motown. This is pleasure to
- 23:29Speaker 1: be here this morning, um red Motown, Real Motown. Thank you. So.
- 23:34Speaker 1: First of all, the first complaint is this morning passed uh.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Sister Thunderstorm Daniels not to be confused with Storm and
- 23:41Speaker 1: Daniel has written a twenty two page book about you
- 23:47Speaker 1: and her having a sleepover. She says she don't get
- 23:51Speaker 1: a payment by two thousand dollars by this Sunday. She
- 23:54Speaker 1: will be selling these books by next Sunday. Is this truth?
- 23:57Speaker 1: Pastor well, Thunderstorm can come on with the book, because
- 24:05Speaker 1: if she think I'm paying two thousand for that little
- 24:07Speaker 1: sleepover we had, she got to be out of her mind, Thunderstorm.
- 24:15Speaker 1: What we got into was more whatn't even thought the story?
- 24:19Speaker 1: Really that parting Clode. If you think you're getting two
- 24:25Speaker 1: thousand for that, you're gonna get the print in the
- 24:27Speaker 1: boat now. Because if the President can't get bought down
- 24:32Speaker 1: by Stormy, I show ain't gonna get brought down by drizzle,
- 24:39Speaker 1: all right, past, no problem. Second complaint is passed up.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Sister Irish Copenhagen has been going to a therapist to
- 24:49Speaker 1: stop her habit of dipping. Um. Good news is she's
- 24:53Speaker 1: no longer dipping. Bad news is she is now smoking cigarettes.
- 24:57Speaker 1: She is asking the church to give her money to
- 24:59Speaker 1: go back to the therapist to see we can help
- 25:02Speaker 1: her quit the smoking habit. We don't really know what
- 25:04Speaker 1: to do here, past, Well, Sister Irish Copenhagen they called
- 25:10Speaker 1: her that because her dip of choice was Copenhagen dial.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Now that she's on cigarettes, we don't pay for rehab
- 25:22Speaker 1: at this church. So Sister Irish is gonna change her
- 25:27Speaker 1: name to Irish Malborough as simple, ain't it. Yeah, that's
- 25:35Speaker 1: that's real simple, past. I think we can do that
- 25:37Speaker 1: for her. We are just not tell a little of that.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Brother Lindel Waterford one. He has a serious problem that
- 25:47Speaker 1: it is costing the church a lot of money and
- 25:49Speaker 1: cleaning costs. Uh. It seems that when he gets excited
- 25:53Speaker 1: over your sermons. Uh, Brother Lionel water for h wets himself,
- 25:59Speaker 1: especially when you start singing. Now members in that area
- 26:02Speaker 1: can't take the smell. They are asking if you could
- 26:04Speaker 1: just not just don't sing. They say, you know it's
- 26:08Speaker 1: about to happen because his ass rolled into the back
- 26:10Speaker 1: of his head. Please pass. You can't. You can't stop
- 26:16Speaker 1: what I did. You know what I what I do
- 26:22Speaker 1: is different. You know you can't. You can't mess with that.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I'm pop fuming the pool pit. I drained you. Watch
- 26:34Speaker 1: you heard your past? Come on now I shocked her.
- 26:45Speaker 1: You Come on, I praised her. Come on. Yeah, I'm sorry,
- 26:54Speaker 1: but it is what it is. The next issue, they
- 26:57Speaker 1: ain't getting no help on that one. Then okay, past
- 27:01Speaker 1: he has one is very serious. Of the Deacon board
- 27:04Speaker 1: is complaining about Deacon Reggie Hammond. Um. The issue is, uh,
- 27:10Speaker 1: he's over collection hand mark. The issue is he's over collection.
- 27:28Speaker 1: But the problem is he's missing both thumbs. But he
- 27:31Speaker 1: will not step down over carrying the collection trade. He
- 27:35Speaker 1: drops it down there every time and it's taking him
- 27:38Speaker 1: up to nine hours to count all the change. Please
- 27:41Speaker 1: pass and ask him to step down over carrying the
- 27:43Speaker 1: collection trade money everywhere. Well, she the good thing about
- 27:49Speaker 1: having or Hammond with them no thumb did he don't steal?
- 27:54Speaker 1: You M hard putting money in your pocket. You ain't
- 27:59Speaker 1: got through. We're gonna keep him on the Deacon board.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I know it takes a long time to get a count,
- 28:07Speaker 1: but it's always accurate because of you that franger the
- 28:10Speaker 1: next to the thumb and just point at the point.
- 28:16Speaker 1: But he won't hold the trade. We can take the
- 28:18Speaker 1: trades to his hand. Well, we may have someone joined
- 28:25Speaker 1: in and help him. His son it Freddy Heming. Really
- 28:33Speaker 1: we're gonna trying to recruit him to the church and
- 28:38Speaker 1: board Limert often gonna go. Well, if we can get
- 28:41Speaker 1: Freddy Harmon in here can't go through the roof alright, Pastor, Uh,
- 28:46Speaker 1: we do have a new member. His name is Curtis
- 28:50Speaker 1: Anthony Mathis. He's nineteen and he has been caught stealing
- 28:55Speaker 1: the money at the collection trade as he's been passed around.
- 28:58Speaker 1: But the problem is he starts peeking and speaking in
- 29:01Speaker 1: tongues while he's taking the money after trade, but stop
- 29:05Speaker 1: speaking in tongues when it needs We think it's a hoax,
- 29:08Speaker 1: but we don't know what to do about this path. Well,
- 29:11Speaker 1: it's gonna be hard for us to do anything because
- 29:14Speaker 1: Curtis mathews daddy is George Greg math If you think
- 29:20Speaker 1: I'm going to court against this, we wi don't stand
- 29:26Speaker 1: a chance up in there. And Greg is one of
- 29:28Speaker 1: the most connected deacons or Georges I've ever seen. The
- 29:34Speaker 1: one thing about Greg Mathews. If you don't get some time,
- 29:38Speaker 1: you're gonna get your hand. Whoops. We're gonna stay away
- 29:42Speaker 1: from that nick. Little Curtis, you know, work through his issues.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Let's just watch him more closely, don't sir to you.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I'm about to make you clo you said, I'm ray
- 30:06Speaker 1: old mel you. I'm aboud to make Deacon lie the
- 30:15Speaker 1: p al right. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 30:17Speaker 1: Miss and will be here with our I'll have some entertainment,
- 30:23Speaker 1: new Steve, I mean Reverend Pastor. All right, all hail
- 30:33Speaker 1: to Queen be Wow, she did her thing at Coachell.
- 30:37Speaker 1: So right after this, we'll be bad. You're listening to
- 30:41Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All Hail to the Queen.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Beyonce made history, becoming the first African American woman the
- 30:53Speaker 1: headline the Coachella Music Festival, Beyonce saying the Black National anthem,
- 30:58Speaker 1: of course, lift every voice and sing. Then she played
- 31:01Speaker 1: snippets from the Malcolm X speech who Taught You How
- 31:05Speaker 1: to Hate Yourself. Beyonce was joined on stage by her
- 31:08Speaker 1: husband Jay Z. She also did a Destiny's Child reunion
- 31:12Speaker 1: with Kelly and Michelle. Her sister Solange was on stage
- 31:15Speaker 1: with her. It was an entire family affair. Beyonce ended
- 31:18Speaker 1: her epic two our performance and she did not break
- 31:22Speaker 1: a sweat. That girl is she is she is. She's
- 31:28Speaker 1: not even huffing and puffing, breathing hard nothing. She was
- 31:32Speaker 1: truly flawless, truly flawless. My old as was called and
- 31:37Speaker 1: yeah it was greatness. Yes you anyway, she ended her
- 31:45Speaker 1: two hour epic performance and said, thank you Coachella for
- 31:48Speaker 1: letting me be the first black woman to headline Dot
- 31:52Speaker 1: Dot Dot. Ain't betta be after all these years? Yeah
- 32:00Speaker 1: that now, I saw so much of it, um and
- 32:11Speaker 1: you know, my daughter went so I heard other stuff too,
- 32:14Speaker 1: But I've seen a lot of footage. And I'm gonna
- 32:18Speaker 1: tell you something, man, And I'm really really a music guy.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I really really am. I'm I'm not gonna kid you man.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I'm an expert at music, not playing, singing, none of that,
- 32:32Speaker 1: But I'm an expert when it comes to the love
- 32:35Speaker 1: of music. I mean, I have a most in affinity
- 32:39Speaker 1: for music that most people don't. I listened to songs
- 32:42Speaker 1: very very differently than most people do. And I'm gonna
- 32:45Speaker 1: just make this statement and I expect some pushback. You
- 32:49Speaker 1: know from people online when I say this, but I'm
- 32:52Speaker 1: just gonna tell you the truth. In my lifetime, and
- 32:55Speaker 1: I'm sixty one years old and I have seen all
- 32:58Speaker 1: of the greats. Mhm, I think that Beyonce is the
- 33:07Speaker 1: greatest female performer and the greatest living performer of our
- 33:15Speaker 1: time right now. I have never seen a woman performed
- 33:21Speaker 1: at the level she does. I mean she is. She
- 33:25Speaker 1: has become the equivalent two Michael Jackson's King of poper Now.
- 33:33Speaker 1: She's not as globally worldwide as big as Michael was
- 33:37Speaker 1: and doesn't have the degree of fanaticism and the fans
- 33:42Speaker 1: that Michael had because he was that what he was
- 33:44Speaker 1: doing was on a whole another I think she would
- 33:47Speaker 1: admit that. But I don't think that there's ever been
- 33:50Speaker 1: a woman uh like this woman here, And she's the
- 33:54Speaker 1: greatest performer I've ever seen with all around attributes when
- 33:58Speaker 1: it comes to her performance, her choreography and lord ham mercy,
- 34:05Speaker 1: this girl can flat out saying and if you don't
- 34:09Speaker 1: think it, you need to really yea, y'all need to quit.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Anybody Hayting is not understanding what this woman does. This
- 34:16Speaker 1: the baddest girl I've ever seen in my life, and
- 34:19Speaker 1: I have seen them all. You won't get any argument.
- 34:22Speaker 1: I don't think tickets to see them all out have
- 34:26Speaker 1: seen Whitney, not not, not not. Nobody can out saying
- 34:29Speaker 1: Whitney understand that, but total performance, don't. I've seen the
- 34:34Speaker 1: need to Baker shot day, I've seen me the Franklin,
- 34:37Speaker 1: I've seen the Supremes, I've seen the motions. I've seen shot,
- 34:42Speaker 1: I've seen Tina Turner, I've seen we gotta Yeah. Go
- 34:49Speaker 1: ahead and introduce, ladies and gentlemen. She's here, the one
- 34:52Speaker 1: and only miss and Trip. Thank you very much, everybody.
- 34:56Speaker 1: This is and Trip with the news. Let's get to it.
- 34:57Speaker 1: In an ABC TV interview, sired FBI director James Comby
- 35:01Speaker 1: says that President Trump is not mentally unfit to be president,
- 35:05Speaker 1: but Comy says he is morally unfit for the office.
- 35:08Speaker 1: He calls Trump a serial liar. Comy's book comes out tomorrow.
- 35:11Speaker 1: It's called A Higher Loyalty. Meanwhile, the President says that
- 35:14Speaker 1: Comby will go down as the quote worst FBI director
- 35:17Speaker 1: in history. He also calls Commy a liar. Protesters demonstrated
- 35:20Speaker 1: outside of a Starbucks in Philadelphia on Sunday. They say
- 35:23Speaker 1: they intend to show up again today because over the
- 35:25Speaker 1: weekend one of the workers they're called the cops on
- 35:27Speaker 1: two black men who were simply waiting for a friend
- 35:30Speaker 1: because I hadn't purchased anything. The friend, who was white,
- 35:33Speaker 1: arrived and wanted to know why his friends were cuff
- 35:35Speaker 1: witnesses to say they didn't do anything. A lot of
- 35:46Speaker 1: Starbucks regularly say they've seen other people in the coffee
- 35:49Speaker 1: shops sitting there without buying anything, maybe just using the WiFi,
- 35:52Speaker 1: but they were never arrested. And now Starbucks CEO Kevin
- 35:55Speaker 1: Johnson says he wants to apologize personally to the two
- 35:57Speaker 1: black men who were arrested, and in a statement says,
- 36:00Speaker 1: quote Starbucks stands firmly against discrimination or racial profiling in
- 36:05Speaker 1: the suburb outside Detroit. Please say a middle aged white
- 36:07Speaker 1: man currently free un bail after shooting at a black
- 36:10Speaker 1: teenager who simply knocked on his door to ask for
- 36:12Speaker 1: directions because he'd missed his bus. For my first Lady
- 36:16Speaker 1: Barbara Bush said to be in failing health they say,
- 36:18Speaker 1: congestive heart failure, uh, and not seeking any more medical treatment.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Of course, she was the wife of one president and
- 36:23Speaker 1: the mother of another. She's reportedly now only interested in
- 36:26Speaker 1: quote comfort care. The former First Lady ninety two years old.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Tens of thousands of South Africans pay their last respects
- 36:32Speaker 1: to winning made Cazella and Dela on Saturday. She was
- 36:35Speaker 1: praised as the uncompromising mother of the nation, but the
- 36:37Speaker 1: speakers expressed the mixture of hurt, feelings, resentments and love
- 36:42Speaker 1: in her lifetime. I am the product of the masses
- 36:45Speaker 1: of my country and the product of my enemy some
- 36:49Speaker 1: of those who and what is funny, Mama, is that
- 36:54Speaker 1: crying the loudest more than all of us who cut
- 36:58Speaker 1: for you. What she left as is the spirit to
- 37:01Speaker 1: fight for what we want as woman Harrie Victor and
- 37:05Speaker 1: loved her. Rest in peace, more one, rest in peace.
- 37:09Speaker 1: At the weekend box office, the movie Rampage was number one,
- 37:12Speaker 1: bringing in thirty four and a half million. Rescue George
- 37:14Speaker 1: and he was two years old. Last night George was
- 37:17Speaker 1: seven ft in weight five hundred pounds and this morning
- 37:19Speaker 1: his nine feet pushing a thousand. George didn't asked for this.
- 37:23Speaker 1: They're gonna put him down here, that's not happening. That
- 37:28Speaker 1: pushed a quiet place into the number two slot. Believe
- 37:31Speaker 1: it or not Black. Panther remains in the top ten
- 37:33Speaker 1: in sixth place. We'll be back with more entertainment in
- 37:36Speaker 1: today's trending topics. Twenty minutes after the Hour and the
- 37:38Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 37:42Speaker 1: Morning Show. So Beyonce made history by being the first
- 37:46Speaker 1: ever African American woman to headline the Coachella Music Festival
- 37:50Speaker 1: in California. Her performance was eppic. There's no other word
- 37:54Speaker 1: to use. Just stop even trying. She was. I mean,
- 37:58Speaker 1: she was just great. Can I say something else? Colla.
- 38:03Speaker 1: The first time I ever heard of Couchella was when
- 38:06Speaker 1: my daughter called me and asked me because she get ticket,
- 38:09Speaker 1: you know, so she came back having just a lot
- 38:12Speaker 1: to prove it because everything everything. Yeah, yeah, she was
- 38:20Speaker 1: having a baby. But yeah, they criticized them for that. Yeah,
- 38:23Speaker 1: and what down they're calling it Bachella. Okay, that's what
- 38:31Speaker 1: they're doing. That, that's what they're doing. Yeah, she did
- 38:38Speaker 1: killed it, man, jay Z, I mean Solange, that was
- 38:42Speaker 1: so that made me chry. Steve when she when her
- 38:46Speaker 1: sister came on stage, Solange and they were dancing together
- 38:49Speaker 1: probably like they used to do. Yeah, when they were kids.
- 38:52Speaker 1: And then Beyonce just stopped and just went over there
- 38:54Speaker 1: and just hugged her so tight, and then she picked
- 38:56Speaker 1: her up like you're my little sister. She gave her
- 38:59Speaker 1: so much love. It was such a touching moment. I'm
- 39:02Speaker 1: now I've told you the best show I had seen,
- 39:05Speaker 1: uh from a person singing live. Yeah, I'm gonna tell you, man,
- 39:10Speaker 1: that dog on Charlie Wilson dog at his age and
- 39:14Speaker 1: what he does and his voice, i mean, he's the
- 39:18Speaker 1: greatest performer I've ever seen his voice at that age.
- 39:22Speaker 1: And his show is outstanding, it is, But her total performance,
- 39:29Speaker 1: i mean it's jaw dropping, slid out, jaw dropping. It's
- 39:35Speaker 1: next level. The pride that she gave to HBC US
- 39:40Speaker 1: with the band, with the drum line and the marching
- 39:43Speaker 1: bands and and black women and black cried. It was
- 39:47Speaker 1: it was. It was. She's a throwback because she makes
- 39:52Speaker 1: statements when she did the Super Bowl and came out
- 39:56Speaker 1: into all black with the fist, and she makes statements,
- 40:00Speaker 1: the girl is brilliant. Man, that girl right now, And
- 40:04Speaker 1: You're right, Jake is the greatest performance living today, hands down.
- 40:10Speaker 1: And I'm telling you, if you go male female it's
- 40:14Speaker 1: Michael Jackson, and then I got to tell you man,
- 40:17Speaker 1: it's her, and then I think Snoop said, then it's
- 40:20Speaker 1: him and Dr Drey. Hello, is Bruno mall A coming
- 40:34Speaker 1: up in thirty four after the hour, We're gonna talk
- 40:36Speaker 1: about Starbucks. Oh my god. Starbucks faces backlash over the
- 40:41Speaker 1: arrest of two black men in the City of Brotherly Love.
- 40:45Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Kevin Johnson,
- 40:50Speaker 1: Starbucks CEO, issued a statement apologizing for the racist arrest
- 40:55Speaker 1: of two black male customers at the company's Philly location
- 40:59Speaker 1: on Spruce Street near South eighteenth Street. The police recalled
- 41:03Speaker 1: because these black men hadn't ordered anything. They were waiting
- 41:07Speaker 1: for a friend to show up, who did as they
- 41:09Speaker 1: were being taken out in handcuffs for doing absolutely nothing.
- 41:13Speaker 1: The video of this arrest when viral, and folks were
- 41:16Speaker 1: outraged on social media. The white woman Melissa Pino, who
- 41:21Speaker 1: posted the video, tweeted, they were sitting quietly, minding their
- 41:25Speaker 1: own business and waiting for their friend to come. Other
- 41:27Speaker 1: white people are wondering why it's never happened to us
- 41:31Speaker 1: when we do the same thing. Are very very Yeah,
- 41:37Speaker 1: they were sitting there and I get is there a
- 41:39Speaker 1: policy that if you sit there and you don't buy anything,
- 41:42Speaker 1: you have to leave? Um, well, if you're black, yeah,
- 41:45Speaker 1: I mean this is you know, because you know what
- 41:49Speaker 1: people go to Starbucks for that for meetings, Yeah, for meetings,
- 41:54Speaker 1: and they do all that. So and these are two
- 41:57Speaker 1: black men sitting waiting for their friend and they were
- 41:59Speaker 1: being get out, uh when their friend was coming in.
- 42:02Speaker 1: He had just I think they were sitting there for
- 42:04Speaker 1: what like twenty something minutes, twenty three minutes or something,
- 42:08Speaker 1: and and the guy at Starbucks told them to order
- 42:10Speaker 1: something or leave, So it is their policy or leave? Yeah, yeah,
- 42:18Speaker 1: loiter it's it's their policy. It says you just can't
- 42:22Speaker 1: sit there. But if you're sitting there waiting for something, okay, okay, okay, cool.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I can understand if a store has a policy a restaurant,
- 42:32Speaker 1: you can't just sit there, you have to order something.
- 42:35Speaker 1: I can understand that policy. But how do you can
- 42:39Speaker 1: get arrested for that? Well, the manager called the police
- 42:43Speaker 1: and they did. They arrested the guys. Yeah, like you say,
- 42:47Speaker 1: if you're black, that's a damn shame because because I'm
- 42:52Speaker 1: sure in the phone call, do they have a copy
- 42:55Speaker 1: of the phone call to the police, because I'm pretty
- 42:59Speaker 1: sure that whoever the manager was had had had a
- 43:02Speaker 1: whole lot on that phone call, and the police chief
- 43:06Speaker 1: there is black and fillers too. There's two black guys.
- 43:10Speaker 1: They're sitting there and they look like, oh my god,
- 43:14Speaker 1: we need help. We're alone. We're alone. There's two black guys.
- 43:20Speaker 1: We're in her all alone. U s Whites don't know
- 43:24Speaker 1: what to do. And there's other black suit here and
- 43:28Speaker 1: they look just as frightened as we do. I mean,
- 43:31Speaker 1: that sounds absurd and ridiculous, but that's probably yeah, to
- 43:37Speaker 1: Steve that posted the video of the white woman, she
- 43:39Speaker 1: was the one that actually posted the video of it happening,
- 43:42Speaker 1: and other people were saying what did they do? Other
- 43:45Speaker 1: people from other races were questioning what was going on there,
- 43:49Speaker 1: and they're asking the police office they did on the
- 43:52Speaker 1: phone call that the manager made. So I'm telling you, man,
- 43:56Speaker 1: this damn manager put some spice on that phone call.
- 44:01Speaker 1: What why? Why are they coming down there. It's a
- 44:05Speaker 1: Starbucks and we're sitting here. That ain't even a police issue. No,
- 44:10Speaker 1: it's not, it's it's not. I mean, what do they
- 44:12Speaker 1: think the black guys were gonna do. I mean, if
- 44:14Speaker 1: that's their policy. But still, this white woman said, why
- 44:18Speaker 1: this is why has this never happened to us when
- 44:20Speaker 1: we do the same thing. We come into Starbucks and
- 44:23Speaker 1: sit around and hang out, never get at least ask them, Oh,
- 44:27Speaker 1: what's the problem, sir? You know what the caller said.
- 44:30Speaker 1: They're sitting there being black, two guys just sitting here
- 44:34Speaker 1: doing nothing. What should we do? Black? It's awful frightening
- 44:38Speaker 1: for me. I'm the manager, police help afraid in my life. Yeah,
- 44:46Speaker 1: I've never been so afraid in my life. I don't
- 44:48Speaker 1: know what they're gonna do, but we all anywhere. It's
- 44:51Speaker 1: their defense. They get defensive the minute they say something
- 44:54Speaker 1: like no need to get loud. I'm not loud. You
- 44:58Speaker 1: know they do that. I'm really you're really luddy. It
- 45:02Speaker 1: makes me sad. Starbucks stands firmly against discrimination or um
- 45:07Speaker 1: racial profiling. This is according to the CEO, Kevin Johnson.
- 45:11Speaker 1: That's what he said in a statement. He also included
- 45:14Speaker 1: a public apology to the two men who were arrested.
- 45:17Speaker 1: There were protests at that Starbucks Philly location yesterday and
- 45:21Speaker 1: more are planned today. And this is the city of
- 45:23Speaker 1: brotherly love. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they do they Yeah, yeah,
- 45:32Speaker 1: I think the manager should be fired. Okay, we'll see
- 45:35Speaker 1: all right. Nephew Tommy is not here, but there is
- 45:38Speaker 1: a prank phone call from him coming up right after this.
- 45:41Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 45:45Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes after,
- 45:47Speaker 1: it's Today's Strawberry Letter. The subject I left in the
- 45:51Speaker 1: middle of the night. But up next the nephews out
- 45:54Speaker 1: the uncle's end though. What you got uncle for the
- 45:58Speaker 1: prank phone call? Yeah? You already? Yeah, let's go. Sarah,
- 46:06Speaker 1: good mother again? Sarah, good mother. You know you got
- 46:13Speaker 1: to have a second mother if you ain't got another mother. Yeah,

- 46:47Speaker 1: not trying to be disrespectful anything, but she seems to
- 46:49Speaker 1: be real fit. Does she does? She work out all
- 46:51Speaker 1: the time? Yeah, she go to January once in a while. Bro. Yeah,
- 46:54Speaker 1: who who is this? Bro? Like I said, my name

- 47:05Speaker 1: Roger Man, it just ain't happened. Dog. I mean we've
- 47:08Speaker 1: been trying and trying. But what I'm trying to do now,
- 47:11Speaker 1: just find another type of way to make this happen. Now,
- 47:15Speaker 1: you say your wife is in good condition, right, My
- 47:19Speaker 1: wife is in a good condition. Brother, What what did
- 47:21Speaker 1: she got to do with trying to have a baby? She?

- 48:01Speaker 1: about you and your wife. You know, I asked him
- 48:03Speaker 1: for your phone number so I can actually call you myself. Man,
- 48:06Speaker 1: wait a minute, So you've been you've been eyeing my wife?
- 48:09Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no not, I ain't been. You're
- 48:12Speaker 1: looking at it wrong. Listen what I was saying that
- 48:15Speaker 1: your wife just seems like a healthy, healthy person. I
- 48:19Speaker 1: want to be able to have a healthy child, man,
- 48:21Speaker 1: I really do. Man, me and my wife we litt

- 50:04Speaker 1: go to the church. I understand that, man, I do,
- 50:07Speaker 1: But listen, we would love for your wife to be
- 50:09Speaker 1: the surrogate mother. And we're willing to pay for this.

- 56:37Speaker 1: your subject. I left in the middle of the night.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Here Stephen Shirley, I need your honest advice here because
- 56:45Speaker 1: I don't know how to handle this situation. I'm in
- 56:47Speaker 1: my late forties and in a good relationship with a
- 56:50Speaker 1: man my age. We are well above the age of foolishness.
- 56:54Speaker 1: But recently we had a big disagreement. I was staying
- 56:58Speaker 1: at his house the other night and I got a
- 57:00Speaker 1: call from my ex husband, who I still consider a friend.
- 57:04Speaker 1: My ex husband is still single and he lives alone,
- 57:08Speaker 1: so when he called me at two thirty a m.
- 57:11Speaker 1: I figured there had to be something serious going on
- 57:14Speaker 1: and I needed to go and see about him. So
- 57:18Speaker 1: I got up and was leaving to go help my
- 57:20Speaker 1: ex husband. My boyfriend got very upset with me, and
- 57:24Speaker 1: we got into a huge argument about it. I don't
- 57:27Speaker 1: understand what the big deal is. I would help anybody.
- 57:31Speaker 1: I may have shared too many details about my friendship
- 57:33Speaker 1: with my ex husband, and I probably shouldn't have told
- 57:36Speaker 1: him that my ex still has me listed as a
- 57:38Speaker 1: beneficiary on his life insurance policy. Surely my man doesn't
- 57:42Speaker 1: think I still want my ex husband, or vice versa.
- 57:46Speaker 1: My man said he was only angry because it was
- 57:48Speaker 1: a safety issue for me to leave it to thirty,
- 57:51Speaker 1: But I know It's deeper than that. So now I'm
- 57:54Speaker 1: second guessing everything. Maybe I should have even maybe I
- 57:57Speaker 1: shouldn't have even answered the late night phone all but
- 58:00Speaker 1: I'm not supposed to go help my ex. What do
- 58:03Speaker 1: you think please help? Okay? After he called at two
- 58:07Speaker 1: thirty a m. And you ran off too, as you say,
- 58:11Speaker 1: go see about him. Yes, your man definitely thinks you
- 58:15Speaker 1: guys have something going on okay, and that you guys
- 58:18Speaker 1: still want each other. I mean, who does this? I
- 58:21Speaker 1: don't I don't get it. Who does that? Did your
- 58:23Speaker 1: ex say something was wrong or seriously going on? Like
- 58:26Speaker 1: you say in the letter? I'll ask it this way.
- 58:29Speaker 1: What man is going to sit back and be okay
- 58:32Speaker 1: with his woman running to another man at two thirty
- 58:35Speaker 1: in the morning. How does this make sense to you?
- 58:39Speaker 1: This is a man who happens to be your ex husband.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I mean, does this really sound reasonable to you? He
- 58:45Speaker 1: may have said that it was a safety issue with you,
- 58:47Speaker 1: but it was way more than that, and probably that too.
- 58:51Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, if if it was a
- 58:52Speaker 1: safety issue, if he thought he should have gone along
- 58:55Speaker 1: with you, I can guarantee you he's not upset about
- 58:58Speaker 1: you and the life insurance that that's not anything for
- 59:02Speaker 1: him to be worried about, because that's a good thing. Uh.
- 59:05Speaker 1: It's about you getting up out of that bed and
- 59:08Speaker 1: going over to your ex's house. That's it. That's all.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Let me ask you this, what if what if you
- 59:13Speaker 1: were um, what were you going to do for your ex?
- 59:16Speaker 1: Did he say? Uh? He never you never said what
- 59:19Speaker 1: it was. You just never said you never said what
- 59:23Speaker 1: it was? Help him do? What I mean? Couldn't it
- 59:27Speaker 1: wait until later in the morning? Otherwise it just sounds
- 59:30Speaker 1: like a booty call. That's it. I don't see how
- 59:33Speaker 1: you don't see that. You're right. You shouldn't have answered
- 59:36Speaker 1: the phone when you saw it was your ex husband.
- 59:39Speaker 1: You shouldn't have gone over there. It could have waited
- 59:42Speaker 1: whatever was Your man is right to be mad. Uh.
- 59:45Speaker 1: If he was at your house and a woman called
- 59:47Speaker 1: him at two thirty in the morning, he got up
- 59:49Speaker 1: to go see her, how would you feel? You would
- 59:51Speaker 1: be mad just like he is. So UM, I know
- 59:54Speaker 1: you'd be highly upset and have a major attitude. Okay.
- 59:58Speaker 1: So uh, you were wrong on You should have stayed
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: there and not answered the call. Okay, And you're gonna
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: have to deal with this because your man. Hopefully he'll
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: forgive you. But I don't know. Steve, Oh, I can't
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: believe this is written by a woman who's grown late forties.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: I left in the middle of the night. The name
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: of this letter should be how stupid this sound to you?
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: That's the title of this letter. Let's change this letter,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: how stupid this sound to you? Shirley. I need your
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: honest advice, and Steve, I'm glad you. I'm glad you said,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: honest said because I want to hell you fit to
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: get help. Come on, because I don't know how to
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: handle this situation. I remember late forties, get a good
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: relationship with with with a man my age. We above
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: the age of foolishness. No, no, no, stop right there,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: he is above the foolish You all up in foolishness.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: But recently we had a big disagreement. I was staring
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: at this house the other night. I got a call
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: from my ex husband, who I still consider a fread.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Problem number one, my ex husband is still single. Problem
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: number two, that's putting on the brake and he lives alone.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: That's problem number three. So he called me at two
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: thirds am. I figured there had to be something serious
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: going on and I needed to go see about him,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: so I got up and was leaving to help my
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: ex husband. The hell is wrong with you? Let's go
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: back to the title that I want to call this letter.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: How stupid this sound to you? We're laying in bed,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: phone ring, it's too thirty. You figure something seriously got
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to be wrong. So you sit, you gets dressed, and
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: you're going to see about your ex husband too, Fanny,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: you know phone calls. It's prime booty time. One more time,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: prime booty time. Matter of fact, you're on the back
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: end of a booty call. Mhmm to thirty late. The
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: booty is in the process of having already answered the
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: callow we're showing about now this risk all usually the
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: big risk all. We'll be back with the rest of
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: his hell are you talking about? We'll have part two
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming going right at after the hour
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: left in the middle of the night. Or how stupid
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: does this sound to you? You're listening to the Steve
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Morning Show? All right, come on, Steve, a part two

- 1:03:36Speaker 1: got very upset with me. We got into a huge
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: argument about it. I don't understand what the big deal is.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I would help anybody. Oh, now you're tricking. Oh, you
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: would help anybody. So anybody that calls at two thirty,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: you're willing to get up and help him. Let me
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: explain something to you, lady. I'm sixty one. Let me
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: just dig off in my past to loot did hell?
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: I didn't call a lot of women at tupend in
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: the wrong and said it ain't ever been nothing wrong.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: You haven't been sick or it's not an emergency, not
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: a tooth If I call you a toothing it The
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: only thing wrong with me is I'm lonely and I
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: just need to be I need some coming, I need
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: somebody to put me to sleep. I'm suffering from it.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Something I can't go to sleep. And you could be
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: the biggest ass peel come rock a bye baby in
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: the tree talk, come on, come and put me to sleep.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: But a two that in the morning for the man
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: called a woman. Something's going old. Someone's on the phone
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: three o'clock in the molding, Yeah, talking about she can't
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: make it right? Did you hear me al Green saying
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: about this? Now hear you answering it, trying to figure
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: out what the hell he's mad cause Al Green is
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: at your house. Yeah, my friendship I have shared. I
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: would help anybody. I may have shared too many details
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: about my friendship with my ex hub So now you're
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: running your mouth to Okay, And I probably shouldn't have
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: told him. My ex Steel has me listened as a
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: beneficiary on his life in shuance policy. Oh well, maybe
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: that was it. Maybe you was going over there and
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: make sure you're still in the big appreciate her up.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: But see, but in order to make sure you the beneficial,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: you gotta provide benefit. See you get the beneficial area,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: you got to be the benefit. You understand, See that
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: what I'm talking about surely, surely my man doesn't think
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: I still want my ex husband or vice versa. Why
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: would you now he don't put you on the policy.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: This to he to empiti me a sugar daddy. I'm
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: your sugar daddy now and when I'm gonna hello hello.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: This is a matter of fact, your ex husband falls
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: into the category a super sugar daddy. And see so
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: now if you gotta sugar daddy, that's a super sugar
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: daddy that can provide sugar living and gone. You got
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: to get over there and provide benefit so you can
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: be remade the beneficial area. That's what you need to do.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Not my man said he was only ain't because it
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: was a safety issue for me to leave in two thirty.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Your damn right, it was a safety issue for you
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: to leave in two thirty. The damn safety issue was
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: he might lose you to the man with all the
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: damn this man gotta surce policy. But I know it's
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: deeper than that. So now I'm second guessing. Let me
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: see what you say. Maybe I shouldn't even have answered
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: the late night phone call. Well maybe you shouldn't. Was
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I not supposed to go help my ex? Maybe you shouldn't.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: What do you think. Let's talk about the help you
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: probably provided. Break it down, Break it down. Let's see
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: he's locked out of his house. Oh and why do
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: you have a key? He's sick and only you can
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: make him better. It's to thirty in the morning. He
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: didn't got some bad news, and now here you come
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: to hold him, becausole him, shape and mold him. You
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: better make a song out of this. Now to thirty,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: come on in the morning. Somebody just can't leave. He
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: picks up the phone and it called on me, and
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: I went out to do just to skippy happy about
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: to go out the dough I got, I bought both fives.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I'm about to give him some more because I'm being official.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Used to be Maverick, used to be maver Now I
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: gotta go and take care of my beefsher status won't
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: and I won't heal uh huh, he's leaving mine w
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: it hain't no more hell. He got me now and
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I get it then, so I go over open up
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: and letting me that was that was excellent. Thank you
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: so much. We gotta get out of here. Email us
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: or innswer. I am as your thoughts on Today's Strawberry
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Letter at My Girls, Shirley and coming up in about
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: ten minutes. James Comey's interview last night, Pooh and Carla's
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Reality Update. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Former FBI director James Comey will release his book Higher Loyalty, Truth,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Lies and Leadership. It'll be in stores tomorrow. People are
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: chomping at the bit for this book right here. People
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: want to read it. They want to read it. Um.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: In an interview last night with Good Morning America's George Stephanopolis,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Comy broke his long silence and described his interactions with
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: President Trump before he was abruptly fired last year. On Friday,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Mr Trump called call me an untruthful slimeball. This is
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: from our president. But I know, I know, need to
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: call him an untruthful You don't have big well white.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: It gets better, he says. He The President also says
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: it was his great honor to fire him. Yes, Betty, Betty,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: come on. In last night's interview on ABC, Comey said
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: his assumption Hillary Clinton would win was a factor in email.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: In that email investigation, take a listen, Hillary Clinton's convinced
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: that that letter defeated her. What do you say to her?
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I hope not. I don't know. I honestly don't know.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I sure hope not. But the honest answer is it
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: wouldn't change the way I think about it. I mean,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: my hope. I didn't write the book for this reason.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: But talking about leadership, it was important to tell the
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: email story because it's me trying to figure out how
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: to lead. Well, the people will read that story and
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: try to put themselves in my shoes. Comy is not
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: telling the truth for that. He knows for a fact
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: that what he did Hillary Clinton, it absolutely hands down.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: He wrote this book to make lots of money because
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: he's mad he got fired. Now, is there a lot
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: of truth in the book. I believe it is. But
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: let's just be honest about this here though. Oh yeah,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: come on, yea be honest. House responded UH with the
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: acknowledgment that Comy may have subconsciously expected Hillary Clinton to
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: win the presidency when he disclosed days before the two
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: thousand and sixteen election. The reopening of a probe of
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: her emails. Um it shows that Comy was driven by
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: political motivation and self interest. That's what the White House
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: has saying, can I just say it from the person
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: who's left the job and got another job up? And
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I was mad at first, Amenimal, So your advice to
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: call me would be what a job? Get another job? Manimalmenimal?
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Where do you work after you've been ahead of what
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: you put in? Even teach and teach you Professor h
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: He was in his fourth year of a ten year
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: term when President Trump fired him. Well anyway, James comey,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: his interview wasn't the only thing on the dances Jeremy Daniels. Yeah,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: something that she is a working girl and I hate
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: to say that, but she getting it in well, you know.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: The side piece was to Playboy. That was an ongoing Yeah,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Jeremy Daniels was one, you know one time space man
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: the president is he thinks he's unfit to be president.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: It is un president thinks so no Jamie. The man
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: says that he thinks that, oh if president is unfit.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Conclusion during the book, Yeah, yeah, this is it. It's
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: so weird because black Trump wouldn't have been in there
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: that long. You know, if there was a black Trump
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: and had all this going, he'd be out of us
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: so damn fast. Right after Great I mean, you know
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: black Trump, Benjamin President Obama, former president. He was squeaky clean,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: and they still hated him. You know, well, they would
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: have swore up and down the Republicans, which have been,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: you know, framing themselves as to uh the party of
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: moral consciously majority and uh you know all of that.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: They would have been screaming from the rooftops that he
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: is unfit to lead this nation, bringing such yeah, detrimental,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: the damn nation. He's heaping coals of hail on our nation.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Clinton with Monica Lewinsky for sure. Okay, he gonna sell
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: some books though, Oh that would be great. But alright,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: so Carla is here go ahead, here are you strong
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: enough to do special edition of Reality. It's a little
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: office morning. You know, the Country Board work out broken?
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: It really did. The Country Boys workout kind of took
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: him out, junior. Look man, hanging up. What was the
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: worst part for you, June? The workout, I'm gonna tell you,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: coming to your house, just driving up up. I knew
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: that was back then. I went to showed up, fleds
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: and stuff. Man. But but you know what one thing
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: about it, we'll be We'll be back. We're back, said
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: we don't keep going. It's actually fun. So if you
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: missed it, Junior went over Steve's house on Saturday and
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: they did a workout. Stephen, you just what broken country
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: board workout? Broke every last one of them. The twenty
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: six year old, the two thirty nine year and Will.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Will was claiming to hanging there. But I looked over
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: my should and I saw him, didn't you, Junior didn't
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: time to look. Your shoulder was pointed at the grass.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: All right. Coming up to the top of the hour,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: carl Reality Update, and does Steve and j Will find
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: out if they are turning into their parents? Right after this?
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. All right, Uh,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: it is time for Carla's Reality Update. Come on, ladies
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Here she is Carling with a special edition
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: of Reality Update. Appreciated. It was a good effort. It
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: was a good effort, all right. Here. We got Real
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Show Part two last night, along
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: with the James Comey interview. A lot of stuff happening
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: on TV. Well, it kind of says like Porsche apologize
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: to Candy a little bit last night, and Candy was
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: cool with it. And they shook hands and agreed that
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: they won't talk about the issue again. In a little bit, Carla,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: she kind of apologized. She it was cool, It was
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: cool what she did in genuine that everybody was sorry. Yeah,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Porsche apologize to Candy. Remember all season, all the drama
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: from the season before, with the damaging things that Porsche
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: had been saying in Phaedra, all that stuff that happened
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: last season they carried over this season. Candy did not
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: really feel that Porsche was sincere with her apology about
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: the whole situation from the season before. So at this
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: episode last night, it seems like Porsche apologized and Candy,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: they shook hands. They seemed like they squashed it. So
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: that's good. Moving on. They buried it under the underground
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: rail road so no one can find it anymore. Ever,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: you're not gonna do that. You're not not to Carla's
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: reality up to date. Carla, I know where he's going,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: all right, So now surely can't you asked for cocktails? Okay? Okay?
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: So we were kind of like, wait, aren't you pregnant?
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: And what's happened there? So that was just a little moment,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: a little moment I don't know if everybody caught that.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: And then Marlowe said that it hurts her feelings when
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: Kenya calls her a prostitute. But then right so, Andy
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Cohen asked marlow how does she make her money, what's
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: her job? What did she do? And so she said
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: she dated a billionaire and that the billionaire bought her
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: house mom how Marlowe? Marlow Steve, she's a friend of
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: the housewives. She tried to clear that up. But then
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: while they were all talking, it kind of got tossed
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: out that Marlowe allegedly stabbed somebody. I was like, how
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: did they just toss about this information and just keep
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: going she stabbed somebody? What? Yes, you boy, you and
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: your mama? How didn't he don't get y'all the keys? Somebody?
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: But it was another female. It was really crazy. Steve.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: I just I was like, wow, Okay, she got a
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: little record there. And then finally I'm just gonna wrap
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: this thing up. Kim Zosiak, she walked out on the set.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: She was wearing her red dress, carrying her red plastic
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: solo cup. Now, this girl has been carrying this cup
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: all season long. Every episode she is drinking something out
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: of this red solo plastic club, you know the ones
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: we have at the parties and all that. Anyway, what
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: is it, Steve Different, You're just firing off anything. What's
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: worth the underground railroad from Jay pick one? She moved that.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you she had this red cup all season long. Anyway,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: Nini went on in on Kim. You know the fact
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: that Kim was lying to her saying that she illegally
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: parked in this candyicap spot at the mall to have
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: a handicap STERI go run ahead, it is if you're
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: not handicaped. Yeah, But Ninia's defense was that she had
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: someone that was disabled with her, and Kim didn't see
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: all that. So that's when the scream fest began. Kim
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: started backpedaling, and then Nini almost got out of her
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: seat at the end of this particular episode and just
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: screamed to Kim, you're a hater and you are blanking
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: trash and it was ugly. And that's how reunion part
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: two ended last night. So there is some part three.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Will it ever end? I don't know. Reality update for
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion that's the most important was
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: still there last night. Uh, I'm not even don't even
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: address that. We march. Don't be too fine to be
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: out of world. And that's the only black one, the
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: only one that I got this feeling right here. All right,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: thank you, Carline. Let me talk this out there too, Carlin,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: tell me if you're on team Ninnie or team Kim.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I'm on team Terray. That wasn't a question, she doesn't.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Carlin, Thank you. Time to have
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: a little more fun now, guys, as if that wasn't enough,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: So Jay, what do you have you have been noticing
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: that I have become and most prone people too, who
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: are becoming our parents. Have you said stuff to your
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: child that your parents? I mean, you haven't come up
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: with nothing new because I said so? Because I said so.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: That that's one. That's one. That's one. How about this,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: hey man, don't put that down. Get yourself a coaster.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: Don't be sitting just don't sit. Drinks on the table.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: We'll becoming our parents. We have become my parents. Steve,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: how about you? You haven't said one when you blows
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: your mouth for fly flying? Yeah, oh god, I heard
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: that in my life. How about this one? Shut up?
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Now you're crying. Shut up before what I give you
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: something to cry cry back? Yeah? Yeah, can you you're
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: well enough to? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah? Closed down for you?
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Let all out? Yea one more? How about this? Make
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: up your mind in or out? You're coming in or
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: you're coming out? Which one is it? You're going in
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: and you're going out? All right? We'll let morning to
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Steve ry Morning Show. Hang on, guys, right after this,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. We're in the
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: middle of this segment called I'm Becoming my parents, and
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: Jay and Steve Harvey are letting us know that they're
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: saying things to the same thing. We haven't come up
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: with nothing. You got one? You got one. Scratch on
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: that wall and scratch on your head. You better say
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: it because that's me. Now, put a scratch on that wall.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: It's gonna be a scratch scratch on that wall. That
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: means you really want to scratch on your behind that wall.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: How about this? I don't know if he could be done,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: but I damn there got beat to what I thought
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: it was gonna come up. I will beat all all
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: the black Hawks. You said that I will be like
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: all the black I don't know, I do know we
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: can go down that you're standing in that refrigerator. Don't
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: like your bought? So what's what's the time living on that? No,
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: you gotta get in and get out. I like, somebody

- 1:26:12Speaker 1: you can hear me. Oh, this is one. Mama was
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: a heavy, little heavy, you know, let heavy. I'm gonna
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: stock aside. So this was her pattern. Don't make me
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: run after you and she couldn't run anyway, but don't
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: make me run after you. Do you know you didn't
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: want that. Let me don't walk back in and take
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: this because it ain't gonna be nice. This one is
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: dedicated to Shirley's mama, Miss Helen, sit down. Everyone has
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: seen you do it, but you did so everybody put
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: on a little show on that. Get out of this room,
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: looking in my mouth when I talk, because it ain't
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: nobody talking to you. This is this is ground talking up. Yes, Ja, Yes,
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: we are becoming parents, Steve looking down my throat wide talking.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: What you got, Steve, keep on keep on acting cute.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: See how cute your daddy? Thank you want to get
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: home from work? Whoa slick? Get in here, slick the
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: cut out? All is cute? Okay, your mama said yeah,
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: and your daddy hit home. We're becoming our parents. Definitely
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: becoming a pant. Get in here now, all listen to kitchen.
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: All right, we'll be right back with more of the
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: Morning Show. So Beyonce made history by being the first
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: ever African American woman to headline the Coachella Music Festival
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: in California. Her performance was at pick. There's no other
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: word to use. Just stop even trying. She was I mean,
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: she was just great. Can I say something else? Cochella.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: The first time I ever heard of Cotchella was when
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: my daughter called me and asked me because she get ticket,
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: you know. So she came back having just a lot
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: to prove it. Criticism, everything, every Yeah, yeah, she was
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: having a baby. But yeah they criticized him for that. Yeah,
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: well what they say down they're calling it Babella, Okay,
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: that's what they're doing. That's what they're doing from Yeah,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: she did killed it, man, jay Z. I mean Solange,
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: that was so that made me chry steve when she
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: when her sister came on stage, Solange and they were
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: dancing together probably like they used to do, yeah, when
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: they were kids. And then Beyonce just stopped and just
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: went over there and just hugged her so tight, and
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: then she picked her up like you're my little sister.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: She gave her so much love. It was such a
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: touching moment. Now I've told you the best show I
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: had seen from a person singing live. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: tell you, man, that dog On Charlie will do at
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: his age and what he does and his voice, I mean,
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: he's the greatest performer I've ever seen his voice at
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: that age. And his show is outstanding, it is, but
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: her total performance, I mean, it's jaw dropping. Its jaw dropping.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: She's slowback, it's next level. The pride that she gave
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: to hbc U s with the band, with the drum
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: line and the marching bands and and black women and
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: black cried. It was it was it. She's a throwback
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: because she makes statements when she did the Super Bowl
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: and came out into all black with the fist, she
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: makes statements. The girl is brilliant, man, that girl right now.
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: And you're right, Jay is the greatest performer living today,
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: hands down. And I'm telling you, if you go male female,
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: it's Michael Jackson. And then I got to tell you man,
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: it's her, and then I think Snoop said, then it's
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: him and Dr dre He I want to get some man. Yeah,
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: all right. Closing remarks coming Did I say we mark?
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: Closing wemarks? Closing remarks coming up at forty nine after
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: the hour with Steve Harvey. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: Morning Show. Here we are, last break up the day.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: It's been a fun morning. It was great. Yeah, Nephew
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: was off today. He'll be back tomorrow. He'll be back tomorrow.

- 1:31:45Speaker 1: we're looking for y'all's praise is when I get back,
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: let me do what was I ignorant to be? Yeah? Stupid?
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: All right, you're gonna have transition, Yeah stupid coming to
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: a town near you this weekend. Yeah all right, you
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: ready with your closing, Steve, take us home. I got
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: a shot one for you today. I just want to
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: encourage people to think about one thing, just one thing.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: When you sleep, you dream when you wake up. You
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: need to get to chasing them. But it seems to
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: be so difficult for people because people delay the process
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: of pursuing their dreams. You have these wonderful dreams, these
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: incredible things that you dream about. Get up and make
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: them happen. Dreams come true for those who put action
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: to the dream. Why do you think you keep dreaming
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: the same thing over and over and over because God
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: wants you to see something. Stop dreaming and just laying in,
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: going back to being and dreaming some more. Start trying
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: to make these dreams happen. Man, get to chasing these dreams.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: You can do it, man, but you've got to start.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: Stop waiting on the perfect time because the perfect time
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: almost always never comes. Let me say that again. Stop
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: waiting on the perfect time because the perfect time almost
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: never ever comes. It just don't y'all grown out there?
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: How many times have you ran up into the perfect
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: time to start anything? Oh? Now you can claim something
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: to be the perfect time. You know, you were a
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: girl and y'all laying I think this would be the
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: perfect time for us to get together. Probably be the
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: perfect time for you. She may feel the same way.
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: But really, though, really, if you're waiting to make your
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: dreams come true with the perfect time, you're gonna be
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: in a hurt. Man. If you're waiting to get all
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: the ducks lined up in the row, you could be
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: waiting for a long time because it's something about ducks.
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: They just don't stay in the row. When you sleep,
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: you dream, when you wake up you need to get
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: to chasing them. And I'm serious about that. Ask God
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: for some help, get motivated, come up with the reason
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: why it has to happen. Just get started. You don't
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: have to figure out how to get all the way
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: to the end. Just figure out how to start. The
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: next step will present itself. If you want to climb
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: up on the ladder. Come on, y'all, when you sleep,
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: your dream, when you wake up, you need to get
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: to chase him. All right, drop it, baby, drop it,
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: drop the mike. Yeah, yeah, great jobs, very good, very encouraging.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: I'm glad to make you might one day if you
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: keep at a seriously. And Steve too, I tell him
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: not to keep at it. Steve, You're you're onto something
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: what you're doing. Beyonce. Congratulations again to Beyonce. To man,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: I'm telling you his business. And I really do consider
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: myself a music expert in terms of loving it and
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: and having grown up in the arrow where real musicians existed,
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: in real singers where I grew up in the arrow ware.
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: And it's not a knock on what's happening today. It's
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: just different. In order to get a record deal, you
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: had be able to flat out say you just didn't
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: get no deal. If you had were in the band,
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: you had to flat out be able to play. I'm
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: just from that generation. I'm not knocking nothing else, you know,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: it's it's nothing for me to love about music today.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: Beyonce is a throwback. Bruno Mars is a throwback. India
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: i Re is a throwback. Eric Kabad is a throwback.
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: Uh Jasmine Sullivan is a throwback. A couple of forever.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: Chrissette Michelle is a throwback. Alicia Keys is a throwback.
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: Mary J. Blige is a throwback. It's a lot I'm
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: leaving off India. I re is a throwback. What's my
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: girl out of Philly? Scott? You know? LETTU see? I
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: mean I'm leaving. I'm leaving women out who are really great.
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: But I'm just telling y'all. Vivian Green, but that's Junior's girlfriend.
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: Them all in his head. Yeah, none of them is
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: the performer that Beyonce is, and that's taking nothing away
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: from these They an to Beyonce Yea on social media
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: saying all hell to the Queen. Baby. Did you see
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: Rihance Rihanna in the front row? Jam and I loved
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: that total package. Yeah, is Beyonce. I've never seen it
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: in my life and I've seen all of them. Yeah,
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: she's next level. She is. No, she's not, She's she's
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: not catchable. Right right. I'll have a great weekend. Man. Now,
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: I'm just gonna Nday because well, I'm gonna be working
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: this weekend. The Junior will be back normal tomorrow. He's
