- 0:09Speaker 1: Mine has inspired people to accomplish their goals and live
- 0:11Speaker 1: their very best life. It's time to stop reading other
- 0:14Speaker 1: people's success stories and start writing your own. People always
- 0:17Speaker 1: talk about their purpose or gift. If you have a gift,
- 0:20Speaker 1: lead with your gift and don't let your friends, family,
- 0:23Speaker 1: or coworkers stop you from planning or living your dream.
- 0:26Speaker 1: My guest today is UH Great Companies co founder and
- 0:29Speaker 1: Vice President for US by US Network, j Alexander Martin.
- 0:33Speaker 1: The new flat platform will feature quality movies, very authentic
- 0:37Speaker 1: and raw content around topics, people, and trends related to
- 0:40Speaker 1: the hip hop culture and lifestyle. It will be launching
- 0:43Speaker 1: April of this year. Today, his kingdom includes the clothing line,
- 0:48Speaker 1: the nonprofit, and the consulting firm. We're talking about all
- 0:50Speaker 1: these things through all of his endeavors. It is his
- 0:52Speaker 1: innate talent and ability to predict trends that it calls
- 0:56Speaker 1: him to impact the fashion world and now the network
- 0:59Speaker 1: streaming world. Please welcome to money Making Conversations Masterclass, the
- 1:02Speaker 1: One and Only and talked to twenty seventh dight j
- 1:06Speaker 1: Alexander Martin. I'm back. Well, you know, it's a really
- 1:12Speaker 1: excited man um um. You know, I'm always reading Black
- 1:16Speaker 1: Enterprize of reading different different different feeds, and all of
- 1:19Speaker 1: a sudden then it comes up launching for us by
- 1:23Speaker 1: US Network. Brother. I had a big smile on my face.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I said, I said, don't who care who we got booked.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I gotta get him back on the show because I
- 1:32Speaker 1: like to feel like I'm part of this journey. Because
- 1:34Speaker 1: in two seen we were talking about you were head see.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna get on that stage and just talk
- 1:40Speaker 1: and talk and talk and not actually giving the results, sir.
- 1:44Speaker 1: And the results is this is a journey. Like I said,
- 1:46Speaker 1: there's something we talked about. It was an idea and
- 1:48Speaker 1: then you had it was out there available for the
- 1:50Speaker 1: journal public to see at that point, but it wasn't
- 1:53Speaker 1: where you wanted to. That's why you're invest uh publicity
- 1:57Speaker 1: into marketing and to it. But it's a journey of
- 2:00Speaker 1: ball is now we all know the brand name, let's
- 2:02Speaker 1: talk about that a little bit. And this is we
- 2:04Speaker 1: could connect the dots on why you feel it would
- 2:07Speaker 1: be successful as a network streaming format that you know food,
- 2:11Speaker 1: but of course translated years, I mean it's our anniversary really,
- 2:15Speaker 1: thirty or thirty years this year would be our anniversary.
- 2:18Speaker 1: So you know, I felt like, you know what, what's
- 2:22Speaker 1: the best way to actually give back to the culture,
- 2:24Speaker 1: to give back to the people that actually sold for us.
- 2:26Speaker 1: What's going on now I think in this marketplace is
- 2:29Speaker 1: the fact that you know, we don't have anything that's
- 2:31Speaker 1: basically for us by us, And and when it comes
- 2:34Speaker 1: to um, you know, streaming world. So again, just like
- 2:37Speaker 1: thirty years before, uh you know our time, we were
- 2:41Speaker 1: doing it again. Um, this is the brain shout of myself,
- 2:45Speaker 1: uh and a gentleman which is my production head press
- 2:48Speaker 1: president Rush or sorry Roberto Rush Evans, and UM, we're
- 2:53Speaker 1: just trying to do it. We're just trying to you know,
- 2:55Speaker 1: be the kings of the streaming world and give you know, someone,
- 2:58Speaker 1: give everyone actually you know, a taste of what our
- 3:01Speaker 1: culture is really about. Right. You know. It's really interesting
- 3:03Speaker 1: because you know, for us by US network that seems
- 3:07Speaker 1: so perfect, that seems like the perfect title for a network,
- 3:12Speaker 1: but it was derived from the success of your clothing line.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Now that was started with a simple idea that they
- 3:18Speaker 1: grew through proper planning, h passion and desire. Let's go
- 3:23Speaker 1: through that journey a little bit, because people do understand
- 3:26Speaker 1: that all journeys don't happen overnight. Like I said earlier,
- 3:29Speaker 1: you and I was, you know, we were cracking the
- 3:31Speaker 1: Champagne Boto. It started in not the official launch is
- 3:35Speaker 1: being announced in two. So all journeys, they might start
- 3:39Speaker 1: with a dream, but it takes hard work, planning and
- 3:41Speaker 1: a lot of effort to make it happen. Talk about that, well,
- 3:45Speaker 1: I talk about this all the time. You know. Sometimes
- 3:47Speaker 1: it's about timing, you know, and you can go in
- 3:49Speaker 1: and you can have a dream to do what you
- 3:51Speaker 1: want to do, but it just takes time. You got
- 3:53Speaker 1: to go through a lot of you know, a lot
- 3:55Speaker 1: of what they called U call call failures. But I
- 3:57Speaker 1: don't believe it, says I believe. It's it's the possibility
- 4:00Speaker 1: to grow. You know, they're all possibilities. And again, if
- 4:03Speaker 1: I look back at you know, my my partner Damon
- 4:05Speaker 1: John when it comes to the food side, and Keith pairing,
- 4:07Speaker 1: Carl Brown, you know, we all came together. You know,
- 4:10Speaker 1: to avoid mission to actually you know, get close out
- 4:13Speaker 1: there for us by us UM. That acronym has stayed
- 4:16Speaker 1: true to us from from then until now. UM I
- 4:20Speaker 1: happen to take the acronym and use it, you know,
- 4:22Speaker 1: for another another particular business when it comes to the
- 4:25Speaker 1: streaming world. But that journey is painstakily, one day at
- 4:30Speaker 1: a time. You know, one day it's not working, the
- 4:32Speaker 1: next day is not working. You gotta work even harder
- 4:34Speaker 1: and harder and harder because it's not working. And in
- 4:37Speaker 1: the end it actually is working. And when you really
- 4:39Speaker 1: think about it, and I think it's just all perspective.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So how you look at it. I mean, Damon had
- 4:44Speaker 1: a Damon that has necessarily had a vision to make hats,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I mean to make clothing. I came along with a
- 4:49Speaker 1: separate vision that pushed him along the same way with
- 4:52Speaker 1: my partner Rush Robertto Evans, he had a vision um
- 4:56Speaker 1: as he was a production company. I wanted to get
- 4:58Speaker 1: in this space. I had this too, abu should we
- 5:00Speaker 1: came together and we made this happen Now. The title
- 5:03Speaker 1: that say, the title the name for us by us,
- 5:06Speaker 1: How did that come about? Well, that came from day one.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I mean now on the food side. Of course, it
- 5:13Speaker 1: came from Damon saying, hey, listen, we need something that's
- 5:15Speaker 1: for us, that's by us, simple as that. And again
- 5:19Speaker 1: you know, going forward into using it for streaming. Right now,
- 5:22Speaker 1: everything's about content, everything about you know, visual, everything is
- 5:26Speaker 1: a visual and that's what everything is about. Now. It's
- 5:28Speaker 1: not necessarily about clothing anymore per se. It's all about
- 5:31Speaker 1: getting your content out there and get get worried out there,
- 5:34Speaker 1: get your name out there, and getting the message out there.
- 5:36Speaker 1: So I felt that, you know, this was lacking, this
- 5:38Speaker 1: is missing, and it didn't actually belong to us. The
- 5:41Speaker 1: words for us, bias was taken from us not taking
- 5:43Speaker 1: in a bad way, but moved on and moved the
- 5:46Speaker 1: greed of pastures and better things, and the culture today's
- 5:49Speaker 1: taking it and embraced it. And it means it doesn't
- 5:52Speaker 1: necessarily mean you know, clothing, it means something else now
- 5:55Speaker 1: and we're just putting a title to a face or face.
- 5:58Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying that That's what's jay is that
- 6:01Speaker 1: it's so perfect. You know, it's like, uh, it's like,
- 6:04Speaker 1: you know, it was a clothing line and we got that,
- 6:07Speaker 1: but today it's an emotion. You know, it is it is.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It is a societal calling. I guess you know that
- 6:14Speaker 1: we always want to support each other. When you look
- 6:16Speaker 1: at Google and Google allows you and encourage us to
- 6:20Speaker 1: put recognize whether you're black business, you know, times have changed.
- 6:24Speaker 1: So when you look at TV you see all these
- 6:26Speaker 1: interracial couples on these commercials, you know times have changed.
- 6:30Speaker 1: That we were driven not so much about about who
- 6:33Speaker 1: we are, is how we feel, and the younger generation
- 6:37Speaker 1: not so much driven by a check. It's about what
- 6:40Speaker 1: you represent, what you're gonna do for the community. What
- 6:42Speaker 1: is your cause? And the title for us by us,
- 6:46Speaker 1: it's really a cause. And I think that leads to
- 6:48Speaker 1: a lot of positivity, don't you think Jay hud To
- 6:51Speaker 1: say leads the positivity. And again I'm it's it's something
- 6:55Speaker 1: that like I said, we started like day one, like
- 6:57Speaker 1: thirty years ago, and I just have a mission to
- 7:00Speaker 1: actually keep that going somehow anyhow, no matter what I do,
- 7:03Speaker 1: like what I do is not go safe for me
- 7:06Speaker 1: for you know others. You know, So again I have
- 7:10Speaker 1: that have that God put that on my spirit to
- 7:13Speaker 1: to to get this you know company moving the first
- 7:16Speaker 1: time as far as food and then He's done it
- 7:19Speaker 1: again when it comes to to this, and I think
- 7:21Speaker 1: that I can reach more people this way versus meeching
- 7:24Speaker 1: people um reaching people, uh through you know clothing. We
- 7:29Speaker 1: will be right back with more money making conversations Master
- 7:32Speaker 1: Class with Rashan McDonald. Can I have your attention for

- 8:25Speaker 1: you heard about them a money Making Conversations in m
- 8:29Speaker 1: LS one A, two, three, three four n m l
- 8:32Speaker 1: S Consumer Access dot org. Now let's return to Money
- 8:36Speaker 1: Making Conversations Masterclass with Rashan McDonald. You know the thing
- 8:40Speaker 1: about it, and there's nothing negative close. You can all
- 8:43Speaker 1: grow your clothes, you can wear out your clothes, but
- 8:45Speaker 1: you can't wear out a feeling and you can't wear
- 8:48Speaker 1: out knowledge. And that's where I take away and I
- 8:51Speaker 1: got excited about your network. Let's break down your network.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Let's talk about it. Talk slowly because I really want
- 8:56Speaker 1: to hear you know, because you talk about the hip
- 8:58Speaker 1: hop culture, You're talked about lifestyle, you're talking about raw content.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Those are really challenging words. And let's explain to my
- 9:06Speaker 1: fuels some of them, like I grew up in the
- 9:08Speaker 1: hip hop culture. The hip hop culture, as you can see,
- 9:11Speaker 1: that dominated the halftime of the Super Bowl. So that
- 9:13Speaker 1: means that society in general has been accepted within the
- 9:17Speaker 1: white community. If the NFL says, you know, we don't
- 9:19Speaker 1: mind Snoop, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Dr Dre to
- 9:24Speaker 1: be on a halftime show for the biggest show in
- 9:26Speaker 1: the world outside of soccer, which dominates European you're prean
- 9:30Speaker 1: sporting events. So you, my friend, a network. The responsibility
- 9:36Speaker 1: of the burden is a lot bigger, my brother. I'm
- 9:38Speaker 1: just telling you international now immediately, you know that, right,
- 9:42Speaker 1: You're not You're not You're not dropping some some jeans
- 9:45Speaker 1: and in a in the borough of New York. You're
- 9:48Speaker 1: dropping international immediately. Come on, now, that has to have
- 9:52Speaker 1: your mind spending a little bit ja, yes, and I
- 9:56Speaker 1: think that you know, again, it took me thirty years
- 9:59Speaker 1: to to figure this out. It took me thirty years
- 10:02Speaker 1: to be able to be able to to to do
- 10:04Speaker 1: this because again I had my mind, body, spirit, all
- 10:07Speaker 1: had to be in one place in the all sequence.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Everything has to line up perfectly. And so I never
- 10:13Speaker 1: rushed time. You know, I always say stuff like, um,
- 10:17Speaker 1: you know, you can't cheat work in those who's working.
- 10:20Speaker 1: So again I had to work my butt off and
- 10:22Speaker 1: I had to kind of, you know, get my mind
- 10:24Speaker 1: right to be able to be able to focus and
- 10:26Speaker 1: have this responsibility because again, you're right, it's a huge responsibility,
- 10:31Speaker 1: responsibility to be able to have the eyes and ears
- 10:35Speaker 1: of of and that means the eyes and ears, but
- 10:37Speaker 1: depict what we are and who we are as a culture,
- 10:42Speaker 1: as individuals, as multicultural urban anyone with color and perspective
- 10:48Speaker 1: and to be able to to you know, go back
- 10:50Speaker 1: and be up. And it's the great I guess the
- 10:53Speaker 1: greatest thing there is and this is this is really
- 10:55Speaker 1: no disrespect in anyone, you know, any race, whatever. But
- 10:58Speaker 1: again I did my way. I did not have to.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I didn't look at I didn't look to to link
- 11:05Speaker 1: on with anyone else, and I didn't look look too,
- 11:08Speaker 1: you know, um to deal with some other you know company.
- 11:12Speaker 1: And again I'm not talking about anybody, per Sae. I'm
- 11:15Speaker 1: just saying in general, I just sat back and I said,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it my way, and I'm gonna sit
- 11:18Speaker 1: in the long logan, the logan. It doesn't matter how
- 11:20Speaker 1: long it takes. That's what I'm gonna do. So again,
- 11:23Speaker 1: we both the platform that's rivaling Netflix. Uh and just
- 11:27Speaker 1: to give get put a perspective, Apple TV, Android, Samsung,
- 11:32Speaker 1: Amazon fire Stick, Roku. We have a website or we
- 11:35Speaker 1: have a number a number of original program original shows
- 11:38Speaker 1: that's coming out. Um, you know, advertisers like Group black Fide, Smart, Undertone,
- 11:45Speaker 1: Magnite like these are the companies that we're dealing with,
- 11:47Speaker 1: only top, top, top premier companies. So again I waited,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I waited my turn. I bust my butt. I sat
- 11:55Speaker 1: back and said, listen, I'm not gonna do it hooker crook,
- 11:57Speaker 1: and not in a way to where I'm gonna go
- 11:59Speaker 1: off to try to um, you know, downplay or do anything.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I'm just gonna keep to keep going my way and
- 12:05Speaker 1: if it doesn't work, I'm gonna keep going my way.
- 12:07Speaker 1: And I think that's what it is all about, drive,
- 12:09Speaker 1: and especially what you're doing. I mean, and listen, you're
- 12:12Speaker 1: talking about me. I know it's about me. But again
- 12:14Speaker 1: I remember, like I said, seventeen and before the way
- 12:17Speaker 1: before that, and you've been doing it and now it's
- 12:19Speaker 1: turned and you're still around. You know, I just got
- 12:22Speaker 1: here again where you commend you well, thank you. You
- 12:25Speaker 1: know the thing about this team right to like I said,
- 12:27Speaker 1: I'm using my platform to market your platform, and that's
- 12:30Speaker 1: the life we have now. But the beauty of what
- 12:34Speaker 1: you're doing now you can give young people, a young
- 12:36Speaker 1: creative artist an opportunity to to to stream their brand,
- 12:41Speaker 1: to be able to build there because all we ever
- 12:44Speaker 1: asked for outlets, you know that, Martin, That's all we've
- 12:46Speaker 1: ever asked for. And then food Boo gave you gave
- 12:49Speaker 1: a fashion outlet. That's why I said, this is way bigger,
- 12:51Speaker 1: and that's why I'm too excited to talk about it. And
- 12:53Speaker 1: And now I know you know that. I just keep
- 12:56Speaker 1: reminded because I'm just so excited because I know that
- 12:59Speaker 1: there's so many talent of the writers, there's so many
- 13:01Speaker 1: time that created people in the documentary field and the
- 13:04Speaker 1: reality TV film and its episodic field, and the film
- 13:09Speaker 1: directors and writers and producers. You are are now developing
- 13:13Speaker 1: a platform that they can come to. How does one
- 13:16Speaker 1: from a creator space get the content to you so
- 13:21Speaker 1: it can be considered to be on your network? What
- 13:23Speaker 1: are the processes the steps for that? Well, what I
- 13:26Speaker 1: try to do is I just said, give an arm
- 13:28Speaker 1: to anyone that wants to actually, you know, present something
- 13:31Speaker 1: we we for now, because we're just starting. We only
- 13:34Speaker 1: uh kind of approved content that's all fully packaged, not
- 13:39Speaker 1: necessarily an idea to say um. But again it's not
- 13:42Speaker 1: to say that I wouldn't look at an idea. We
- 13:45Speaker 1: do UM for now. You know, we eventually we'll have
- 13:48Speaker 1: to close it for unsolicited um work, but for now
- 13:52Speaker 1: we have a wide open. If you email me the
- 13:55Speaker 1: letter j the letter j AT for us Bias Network
- 13:58Speaker 1: dot com, I'll get it to my staff for my team,
- 14:00Speaker 1: they'll overview it and if they like it, they'll let
- 14:03Speaker 1: you back. And what's cut a deal? Well, you know
- 14:05Speaker 1: you send me some banners and posters are definitely posted
- 14:08Speaker 1: on my platforms because a lot of people always inquire
- 14:11Speaker 1: with me, inquired with me to say, hey, where can
- 14:14Speaker 1: I go to get my my voice out, my my
- 14:17Speaker 1: movies out, and processes like that. Because of the thing
- 14:19Speaker 1: about it is day as you know, you know you
- 14:23Speaker 1: you have a responsibility to put out a certain type
- 14:26Speaker 1: of content because people expect that from your brand, your
- 14:29Speaker 1: first class all the way. You see a lot of
- 14:31Speaker 1: people coming you coming in with the first class name
- 14:34Speaker 1: and so as people expect that. So with that being said,
- 14:37Speaker 1: what were the fees involved with trying to say this
- 14:40Speaker 1: is what we're gonna charge whether the fees? Is there
- 14:43Speaker 1: an app now they can download and so just walk
- 14:46Speaker 1: us through the next step. Uh, Because it says to
- 14:49Speaker 1: generate revenue for your company in order to keep coming
- 14:53Speaker 1: up with new content and making the network refresh with
- 14:57Speaker 1: uh with the with the with with you know, with
- 14:59Speaker 1: storyline and so people want to regie who app brought
- 15:02Speaker 1: the app? All bot there subscription we want to renew
- 15:06Speaker 1: well um. So so basically we have what they call
- 15:09Speaker 1: S five a vote and we also have a linear
- 15:12Speaker 1: um um set up as linear, so S five being
- 15:16Speaker 1: subscription subscription based, so you can actually pay for a subscription.
- 15:21Speaker 1: The price I believe is coming out to about twenty
- 15:25Speaker 1: one dollars. But what we do is we charge for
- 15:28Speaker 1: three months front up front. So that's how our planning,
- 15:31Speaker 1: bill building plan is three months up front. But we
- 15:34Speaker 1: also have uh A vote which is v o D
- 15:38Speaker 1: or video video on demand program and plus um we
- 15:41Speaker 1: also have linear so we have twenty five content as
- 15:44Speaker 1: well that you can watch. So we have a merit
- 15:46Speaker 1: of different uh UM ways that you could actually watch
- 15:50Speaker 1: consume our content. That when it comes to the type
- 15:53Speaker 1: of content that you spoke up, the type of content
- 15:56Speaker 1: is cultural. I mean we have we have you know,
- 15:59Speaker 1: our LGB lb G t Q community and I have
- 16:02Speaker 1: a show with the Gentlemine named Soucy Santana. You know,
- 16:05Speaker 1: we have you know, we have we have problems within
- 16:09Speaker 1: our community, you know with um, you know, adoption or
- 16:13Speaker 1: problems with you know, crime, but we have problems with
- 16:17Speaker 1: drugs and stuff like that. So I'm gonna tell everyone's
- 16:19Speaker 1: story in an authentic tha way and and and not
- 16:24Speaker 1: kind of hold back and make sure everyone has a
- 16:26Speaker 1: voice per se um so and also I Phil comes
- 16:30Speaker 1: like we have script we have scripted, we have faith based,
- 16:32Speaker 1: we have everything. Everything you want is there right there.
- 16:35Speaker 1: But it's all basically you know, tell it, uh, and
- 16:38Speaker 1: tell it around what who we are and what we think.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Categorized catalogsize, definitely categorized as adventures such such such and
- 16:48Speaker 1: and alex goes on. We will be right back with
- 16:50Speaker 1: more Money Making Conversations Masterclass with Rushan McDonald. Now, let's
- 16:56Speaker 1: return to Money Making Conversations Masterclass with Rishan McDonald. J
- 17:01Speaker 1: Alexander and the first time we we we knew each
- 17:04Speaker 1: other and we just talked about in seventeen. The second time,
- 17:07Speaker 1: we had this brilliant book out that I read and
- 17:10Speaker 1: uh we talked about it and one of the most uh,
- 17:13Speaker 1: one of my favorite books by the way, Joe, Alexander
- 17:16Speaker 1: and so and one of the sustaining qualities of the
- 17:19Speaker 1: book about building sustaining generational wealth for the culture. And
- 17:23Speaker 1: that's that's always been your mission because you're not just
- 17:25Speaker 1: a person. Your community basis you involved and you know
- 17:28Speaker 1: you and the politics in the sense that you you
- 17:32Speaker 1: want to be out there being a decision maker. I
- 17:34Speaker 1: should say in the community, talk about building and sustaining
- 17:37Speaker 1: generational wealth for this culture because it's the culture that
- 17:41Speaker 1: we want to push beyond. And also say they have
- 17:43Speaker 1: a voice. Well, you know, the voice comes from the
- 17:48Speaker 1: problem with this and and I'm I'm very you know,
- 17:51Speaker 1: to the point a lot of times, because I think
- 17:53Speaker 1: the problem is is that you know, the first thing
- 17:55Speaker 1: we do when we when we we we get something
- 17:58Speaker 1: is we want to market like mark has become the thing.
- 18:01Speaker 1: We have to have this, we have to have that.
- 18:03Speaker 1: But you know, again everything's about being ready. There's nothing
- 18:06Speaker 1: wrong with treating itself. But treat yourself, not treat your
- 18:11Speaker 1: outside self, treat your inside self. You know, treat your mind,
- 18:14Speaker 1: treat treat your treat your family, treat and by by
- 18:18Speaker 1: ways of of generational wealth and in turn of buying
- 18:21Speaker 1: a home, you know, by those things first and then
- 18:24Speaker 1: you go off and you buy the other things. Um,
- 18:27Speaker 1: I always tell people, well, I can't spend a dollar
- 18:31Speaker 1: unless I made three dollars. You know, we have to
- 18:33Speaker 1: start giving these practices and stop looking at the shiny
- 18:35Speaker 1: object and start understanding how that excuse my friends got shiny,
- 18:41Speaker 1: you know, because you know I it's looking at the
- 18:45Speaker 1: car when you say that it's the car, the fancy car,
- 18:47Speaker 1: the gold necklace. You know, the shinest that that really
- 18:51Speaker 1: doesn't prolong success actually just takes your money and as
- 18:55Speaker 1: they say, you drive that car off the lot and devalues.
- 18:58Speaker 1: You want under the the jury and de azues instead
- 19:01Speaker 1: of trying to figure out how the stock market works,
- 19:04Speaker 1: how to figure out whether it's big carms or cryptocurrency.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I'm not recommending you do that. At least understand it,
- 19:09Speaker 1: and it may be a way. When he starts talking
- 19:11Speaker 1: about generational wealth, buy the new car is not generational wealth.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Buying jurly is not generational wealth. Especially not getting into
- 19:18Speaker 1: the drug game is generational wealth. And that's what we
- 19:21Speaker 1: see that quick. It's not it's like thirty day money.
- 19:24Speaker 1: It's not even thirty day money. It depends on where
- 19:26Speaker 1: you want to go. That is where we keep running
- 19:28Speaker 1: our heads and bumping our heads. And I think that's
- 19:30Speaker 1: one of the inspirations behind you launching the Forest Buyers Network,
- 19:35Speaker 1: because I get you tired and you're tired of us
- 19:38Speaker 1: getting news is not value to our community. On CNN,
- 19:42Speaker 1: on Fox News, on MSNBC. It's a shallow version because
- 19:47Speaker 1: we always hear this term councel culture, which annoys me.
- 19:51Speaker 1: All I want to know is the truth. I don't
- 19:53Speaker 1: want to know is what was my role? Now that
- 19:55Speaker 1: are people out there saying if you tell people about
- 19:57Speaker 1: Slaverytish school, make the white people feel bad, Well, how
- 20:00Speaker 1: do you think we feel bad? Come on about I
- 20:04Speaker 1: know if I get fired up, Jay, that's I had
- 20:05Speaker 1: to go there because that's what this is. Because you know,
- 20:10Speaker 1: I get because because that's why I know why we're
- 20:13Speaker 1: doing this. That's why. Man, you know something, I just
- 20:16Speaker 1: want somebody to tell me if you BT is shifted,
- 20:18Speaker 1: they're not going there. TV one not going there. You know.
- 20:21Speaker 1: But this is a streaming network. They can't. They can't.
- 20:24Speaker 1: They can't at all, And I have to stop right there.
- 20:27Speaker 1: They cannot Again, it goes back to the place of
- 20:30Speaker 1: creating your own Come on, do tell don't want to
- 20:35Speaker 1: come in and tell me no, And I'm not gonna
- 20:37Speaker 1: distupid you because I'm gonna cancel you. I can't, I don't.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I'm doing with the what what the what the culture wants,
- 20:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna catch. So that's that's all I'm saying, because
- 20:51Speaker 1: see I am so you know I've been down this journey.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I've been and that first of all, to change him.
- 20:56Speaker 1: This is no disrespect to TV. Want to bet we're
- 20:59Speaker 1: just talking about ontent now. We're talking about like the
- 21:02Speaker 1: black news challenel just got canceled, got canceled, Okay because
- 21:07Speaker 1: the fact that and they had upgraded the quality of
- 21:10Speaker 1: the apprecentation. That's the sad part about it. Employees gone
- 21:15Speaker 1: got canceled. Let's gonna use the word got canceled. What
- 21:18Speaker 1: about the family? Yes? And what about the story that
- 21:20Speaker 1: they were trying to tell? So now where do we
- 21:22Speaker 1: go for our news? Our stories all? Because when you
- 21:27Speaker 1: look at no different than going to MTV. They don't
- 21:30Speaker 1: play music anymore. They do reality show, sitcoms and game
- 21:34Speaker 1: show now BT there into dramas they don't do they launched,
- 21:39Speaker 1: so they don't even do news on those channels anymore.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Same thing with TV one. So now look at yours.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Is there a place in your network and your streaming
- 21:47Speaker 1: network that's gonna allow us to feel whole because it
- 21:50Speaker 1: allows us to get information that will allow us as
- 21:53Speaker 1: community participants to go there on a regular basis. Is
- 21:57Speaker 1: that the purpose of foo boo? Yes, yes, that's the purpose.
- 22:00Speaker 1: And what I was trying to do, to be honest,
- 22:02Speaker 1: prior to this, was to reach out to these particular
- 22:05Speaker 1: news groups and and do a deal with them and
- 22:08Speaker 1: which they would kind of maybe stream their content and
- 22:11Speaker 1: stream them on hour just when network. I haven't been
- 22:14Speaker 1: successful in that process, but I'm I'm I feel that
- 22:19Speaker 1: I will finally get get something together. Um again, you
- 22:22Speaker 1: know a lot of people I always reach out and
- 22:25Speaker 1: try to try to at least get with the get
- 22:26Speaker 1: out scoot us, you know, and if I can't get
- 22:29Speaker 1: with us, I just had to do it myself. So again,
- 22:32Speaker 1: if within the next few few fall a few months,
- 22:35Speaker 1: if I can't reach a deal with any one of
- 22:36Speaker 1: these groups, I'm gonna gonna do it myself. Well here's
- 22:39Speaker 1: what my brother, if you need my help, you know,
- 22:43Speaker 1: it's free of charge. I am so proud of you,
- 22:46Speaker 1: I am so happy for you. Um my goal, Like

- 22:51Speaker 1: How you are trying to your talented search. When I
- 22:54Speaker 1: say talented search for producers created people who have content,
- 22:58Speaker 1: They've been shopping it, but nobody's picked up. You know,
- 23:01Speaker 1: people who have films that have went to these festivals,
- 23:03Speaker 1: that already produced, don't have nowhere to air. This is
- 23:07Speaker 1: his outlet. This is outline nine. I'm gonna just tell
- 23:10Speaker 1: you this is first class. He's not putting everything on
- 23:12Speaker 1: TV okay, but he is giving you an outlet that
- 23:15Speaker 1: he has a staff on board. That you've sent it
- 23:18Speaker 1: to him, they will review it and give your possibility
- 23:21Speaker 1: for having your content or airing on a mainstream, first
- 23:25Speaker 1: class streaming network. That's the ultimate goal, correct ja, Yes,
