- 0:01Speaker 1: President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on US
- 0:05Speaker 1: Soul together, first time a leader from Russia has been
- 0:08Speaker 1: the US since nineteen eighty eight, and they shared a
- 0:11Speaker 1: handshake on the Tarmact Joint Base Richardson in Alaska before
- 0:17Speaker 1: departying together in Donald Trump's presidential limousine, known as the Beast,
- 0:20Speaker 1: for the high stakes meeting to discuss the war in Ukraine. Now,
- 0:25Speaker 1: the two men were smiling when they shook hands for
- 0:27Speaker 1: the camera. Trump arrived in Alaska at about ten twenty
- 0:31Speaker 1: am local time, while Putin's plane landed around ten point fifty.
- 0:36Speaker 1: The two leaders descended their respective planes and walked a
- 0:39Speaker 1: red carpet. Now. The President also was asked on his plane,
- 0:44Speaker 1: Air Force one, on the way to Alaska about what
- 0:46Speaker 1: his expectations were for the summit. This is what he
- 0:50Speaker 1: had to say to Brett Baer on Fox News Channel
- 0:52Speaker 1: in an excerpt.
- 0:53Speaker 2: What are your expectations?
- 0:55Speaker 3: I mean, is the goal of this meeting in Alaska
- 0:58Speaker 3: to walk away with his.
- 1:01Speaker 4: So when you talk about deals, it's all I do
- 1:04Speaker 4: my whole life. I do deals.
- 1:06Speaker 5: You never know, you don't like to have too many expectations.
- 1:08Speaker 5: You want it because you have to weave and Bob
- 1:10Speaker 5: and you don't know what's going to happen, but we're
- 1:14Speaker 5: going to go and find out. I'd like to see
- 1:16Speaker 5: a ceasefire. I wouldn't be thrilled if I didn't get it.
- 1:20Speaker 5: But everyone says you're not going to get the seat fire.
- 1:23Speaker 5: It'll take place on the second meeting. The second meeting
- 1:25Speaker 5: is going to be very but I'm not going to
- 1:27Speaker 5: be happy with that, So we'll see what happens.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I'm going to be.
- 1:33Speaker 5: I won't be happy if I walk away without some
- 1:37Speaker 5: form of a ceasefire.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Now I say this, and I've said it from the beginning.
- 1:42Speaker 4: This is really setting the table today.
- 1:44Speaker 5: We're going to have another meeting if things work out,
- 1:47Speaker 5: which will be very soon, or we're not going to
- 1:50Speaker 5: have any more meetings at all, maybe.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Ever, or we're not going to have any meetings in
- 1:55Speaker 1: the future, like ever at all, maybe never the present,
- 1:59Speaker 1: making it quick, or what this meeting needs to look like,
- 2:02Speaker 1: and what he believes success will look like in a meeting.
- 2:05Speaker 1: The President also saying, look, if he's not there to
- 2:07Speaker 1: actually work a deal, then we are not going to
- 2:10Speaker 1: waste our time. He would be willing to walk away
- 2:14Speaker 1: from a deal if it is or from Vladimir Putin
- 2:17Speaker 1: if it is not serious. Trump also said this about
- 2:21Speaker 1: is it fair for him to negotiate on behalf of Ukraine.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Take a listen, So if you were to paint a
- 2:27Speaker 1: picture of what perfect looks like coming out of Alaska today,
- 2:32Speaker 1: what does that look like in your mind?
- 2:35Speaker 4: Look, it's not for me to negotiate a deal.
- 2:37Speaker 5: For Ukraine, but I can certainly set the table to
- 2:41Speaker 5: negotiate the deal. And our next meeting will have President
- 2:45Speaker 5: Zelenski and President Putin.
- 2:48Speaker 4: And probably me.
- 2:51Speaker 5: I'd like to focus on doing our country, but you know,
- 2:55Speaker 5: I get these interruptions.
- 2:57Speaker 4: I've solved six wars in six.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Months when you think about it, and that's from Pakistan
- 3:03Speaker 5: to India that was going to be a terrible one.
- 3:06Speaker 5: Planes being shot down that was getting ready to flare,
- 3:08Speaker 5: and then nuclear powers.
- 3:10Speaker 1: As you heard President Trump say, it's not for me
- 3:12Speaker 1: to negotiate a deal for Ukraine, but I can certainly
- 3:15Speaker 1: set the table to negotiate that deal. And that's exactly
- 3:19Speaker 1: one of the presidents, meaning face to face with Vladimir Putin.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Now, don't worry.
- 3:23Speaker 1: The media is doing what the media always does, trying
- 3:26Speaker 1: to undermine the President of the United States of America.
- 3:29Speaker 2: NBC News MSNBC.
- 3:32Speaker 1: This is what they had to say as the two
- 3:34Speaker 1: world leaders met on the red carpet. Now you've got
- 3:36Speaker 1: to understand this is a simple handshake that they've witnessed
- 3:39Speaker 1: at MSNBC. And what did John Brennan say, Well, listen carefully, doctor.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Brennan, what are your thoughts when you see Trump touched Putin.
- 3:48Speaker 6: I've counted at least four times, you know, an arm
- 3:51Speaker 6: on the shoulder, a hand on a hand. I can't
- 3:54Speaker 6: imagine touching somebody like that after knowing about and seeing
- 3:58Speaker 6: recording like Ali Bell, she's out of boot chat your
- 4:01Speaker 6: thoughts well.
- 4:02Speaker 7: As Ali's interview demonstrated, there are so many individual stories
- 4:06Speaker 7: about just the horrendous suffering that the Ukrainian people have
- 4:09Speaker 7: gone through.
- 4:10Speaker 4: But it's the scale of the suffering.
- 4:14Speaker 7: Putin is responsible for well over one million deaths Ukrainians
- 4:18Speaker 7: and Russians, probably three or four times as many wounded
- 4:21Speaker 7: and maimed. The scale of the atrocities and his targeting,
- 4:25Speaker 7: intentional targeting of civilians makes I think that image of
- 4:29Speaker 7: the red carpet greeting from the President United States, particularly odious.
- 4:33Speaker 7: It is really quite something that an international pariah who
- 4:37Speaker 7: has been responsible for so much destruction over the past
- 4:41Speaker 7: several years is welcomed.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Now.
- 4:44Speaker 7: I know that we need to be able to bring
- 4:46Speaker 7: the fighting Ukraine to an end, and unfortunately, you know,
- 4:49Speaker 7: the only present we have right now is Donald Trump.
- 4:52Speaker 7: And so I do believe that both Donald Trump and
- 4:55Speaker 7: Lami Putin do not want this meeting to be an
- 4:58Speaker 7: abject failure. I think they both have a stake and
- 5:01Speaker 7: seeing something come out of it. But I do detect
- 5:04Speaker 7: Donald Trump's nervousness. I think he does have some butterflies
- 5:07Speaker 7: in his stomach because he knows that he has long
- 5:10Speaker 7: over committed what he can do in terms of bringing
- 5:12Speaker 7: this war to a close.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You listen to John Brennan there, it's amazing. I do
- 5:17Speaker 1: detect Donald Trump's nervousness. This is the President of smiling,
- 5:21Speaker 1: coming off of Air Force One, getting on a red
- 5:24Speaker 1: carpet meeting Vladimir Putin, shaking hands for the cameras, and
- 5:29Speaker 1: he said, but I think he does have some butterflies
- 5:31Speaker 1: in his stomach. Obviously, John Brennan doesn't know what the
- 5:34Speaker 1: hell he's talking about, or anybody else for that matter
- 5:37Speaker 1: who is watching this happen in real time. No, the
- 5:40Speaker 1: President did not seem nervous at all. No, the president
- 5:45Speaker 1: you would have no idea if he had butterflies in
- 5:47Speaker 1: his stomach. By the way, the two leaders have met
- 5:49Speaker 1: multiple times before. This is not some crazy thing that's happening.
- 5:54Speaker 1: And yet what is the media doing everything they can
- 5:58Speaker 1: to tear down the president? What does the president's goal here?
- 6:01Speaker 1: The President's goal is very simple, to get a deal
- 6:04Speaker 1: to save lives, to stop a war, to stop a
- 6:08Speaker 1: war that's been going on for years, and to stop
- 6:11Speaker 1: the senseless killing of young men, women and children in
- 6:16Speaker 1: both of these countries, all because of Vladimir Putin. He's
- 6:20Speaker 1: also trying to do it quickly. Why would we want
- 6:22Speaker 1: to drag this on? And what is the media doing
- 6:25Speaker 1: telling you every reason why they think Donald Trump will
- 6:27Speaker 1: be a failure at this summit, and even criticizing the
- 6:32Speaker 1: President United Sisma saying I don't even know how he
- 6:34Speaker 1: can touch this man. How can he touch this man
- 6:38Speaker 1: that has done such evil? The President United States of America.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Guess what has to put those types of feelings aside
- 6:44Speaker 1: when you're trying to negotiate peace between two nations, and
- 6:49Speaker 1: so yes, Donald Trump is going to shake the hand
- 6:51Speaker 1: of Ladimir Putin. Yes, he put his hand on his
- 6:53Speaker 1: shoulder as well. Yes, you don't want to go in
- 6:56Speaker 1: this meeting hating each other if you want to get
- 6:58Speaker 1: a deal done. This is what I would describe as
- 7:01Speaker 1: the literally art of the deal. So here we are,
- 7:05Speaker 1: the two men are meeting as we speak. Hopefully they're
- 7:08Speaker 1: getting something done in a positive way. Hopefully they'll get
- 7:11Speaker 1: a deal done that makes sense for everyone involved. And
- 7:14Speaker 1: hopefully they'll get to a point where they can go
- 7:16Speaker 1: to Zelenski and say, Okay, this is what it's looking like.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Let's start the negotiations. And by the way, working towards
- 7:25Speaker 1: a ceasefire quickly is another huge part of this conversation.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And by the way, NBCMSNBCS aren't the only ones that
- 7:35Speaker 1: are doing this. Turn it over to see it in
- 7:37Speaker 1: former Obama Chief of Staff Rob Emmanuel saying this about
- 7:42Speaker 1: the Alaska summit yet again, hoping it's a failure.
- 7:46Speaker 8: When cease fire, whatever happens, there will be a tabulation
- 7:50Speaker 8: of the win loss here, both body count, economically, strategically,
- 7:54Speaker 8: what's happened to Russia. That's why slightly the red carpet.
- 7:58Speaker 8: They are cheering back muscle because the isolation and this
- 8:00Speaker 8: was a freebie, a total freebie without literally you cannot
- 8:04Speaker 8: where's America's scorecard from kind of how you measure this.
- 8:08Speaker 8: That's why I worry about President Tump putting his own
- 8:10Speaker 8: personal interests ahead of America's national security.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Interest Ram Emmanuel, I worry about President Trump putting his
- 8:17Speaker 1: own personal interests ahead of America's national security interests? Are
- 8:21Speaker 1: you kidding me? This is now what he's saying. Let's
- 8:24Speaker 1: also talk about the reality. The reality is the US
- 8:28Speaker 1: economy is strong. Russia is not. And that's part of
- 8:33Speaker 1: the reason why this summit is probably happening, because Russia's
- 8:37Speaker 1: in a major hole right now when it comes to
- 8:42Speaker 1: their cash flow. Let me just give you some examples
- 8:46Speaker 1: of what's happening right now. Russia is running literally out
- 8:50Speaker 1: of cash. It is in a severe stagnation or stagflation,
- 8:54Speaker 1: depending on how you want to describe it. Potatoes are
- 8:57Speaker 1: up sixty two percent, butter up thirty breught up eighteen
- 9:01Speaker 1: percent of interest rates to the high eighteen percent stagflation.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Russia is losing at least three hundred million a day
- 9:09Speaker 1: on its war in Ukraine. That war is eating up
- 9:12Speaker 1: about forty percent of the Russian government spending. Let that
- 9:17Speaker 1: sink in and you understand what advantage we have. In
- 9:21Speaker 1: a bombshell report, a democratic whistleblower has come forward, a
- 9:27Speaker 1: long time staffer on the House Intelligence Committee and told
- 9:32Speaker 1: the FBI back in December of twenty seventeen, during Donald
- 9:37Speaker 1: Trump's first year in office, that then Representative Adam Schiff
- 9:44Speaker 1: authorized the leaking of classified information during the Russia Gate
- 9:50Speaker 1: investigation to discredit President Donald Trump, believing that he would
- 9:57Speaker 1: be appointed CIA director under a potential Hillary Clinton presidency.
- 10:02Speaker 1: In meetings, Adam Shift allegedly stated the leaks would be
- 10:06Speaker 1: used to indict President Trump. When the whistleblower objected, others
- 10:13Speaker 1: reportedly reassured him that they would not quote be caught.
- 10:19Speaker 1: The whistleblower described a system where sense of material was
- 10:23Speaker 1: funneled to Shift and then selectively leaked to the press.
- 10:28Speaker 1: One document allegedly seen by a small group including Shift
- 10:32Speaker 1: and Representative Eric Swalwell, you remember the congressman that was
- 10:36Speaker 1: literally sleeping with a Chinese spy, was leaked almost verbatim
- 10:42Speaker 1: within a day. The whistle blower labeled these actions unethical
- 10:47Speaker 1: and potentially treasonous, and sought FBI involvement, though the Department
- 10:53Speaker 1: of Justice reportedly declined to pursue the investigation further. The
- 10:58Speaker 1: White House Press secretary calling the report a bombshell, signing
- 11:02Speaker 1: the newly released FBI documentation about the whistleblower's account. Here's
- 11:07Speaker 1: more of what Caroline Levitt had to say when she
- 11:09Speaker 1: was asked about it in the White House Briefing Room BEKA.
- 11:12Speaker 5: Thanks Caroline.
- 11:13Speaker 9: My question involves Russia Gate.
- 11:15Speaker 10: A whistleblower alleges that the Congressman Adam Shift approved leaking
- 11:19Speaker 10: classified information to smear President Trump's.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Image during the Russia g scandal.
- 11:23Speaker 10: As a president planned to investigate Adam Shift.
- 11:26Speaker 11: And what would accountability look like if more information.
- 11:30Speaker 10: Confirms the support The President has already said he wants
- 11:33Speaker 10: to see Adam Schiff held accountable for the countless lies
- 11:36Speaker 10: he told the American people in relation to the Russia
- 11:38Speaker 10: Gate scandal. I brought Tulsey Gabbert out to this podium
- 11:41Speaker 10: to talk to you about all of that, and this
- 11:44Speaker 10: administration is taking accountability very seriously. As for this new
- 11:47Speaker 10: FBI whistleblower report, I understand cash Pattel last Night declassified
- 11:52Speaker 10: a three h two FBI document showing that a whistleblower
- 11:56Speaker 10: who is a Democrat, a career intelligence officer who worked
- 11:59Speaker 10: for Democrats on the House Intel Committee for more than
- 12:02Speaker 10: a decade, repeatedly warned the FBI in twenty seventeen that
- 12:07Speaker 10: then Rep. Adams shiff had approved leaking classified information to
- 12:11Speaker 10: smear then President Donald Trump over the rush Agate scandal.
- 12:16Speaker 10: This is obviously a bombshell whistleblower report. Hopefully more people
- 12:20Speaker 10: in this room will cover it as such. And I
- 12:23Speaker 10: have a quote from the FBI Director for all of you.
- 12:25Speaker 10: He has said this for years to certain officials use
- 12:28Speaker 10: their positions to selectively leak classified information to shape political narratives.
- 12:33Speaker 10: It was all done with one purpose, to weaponize intelligence
- 12:36Speaker 10: and law enforcement for political gain. Those abuses eroded public
- 12:39Speaker 10: trust in our institutions. The FBI will now lead the charge,
- 12:43Speaker 10: with our partners at DOJ and Congress will have the
- 12:46Speaker 10: chance to uncover how political power may have been weaponized
- 12:49Speaker 10: and to restore accountability. That's what the administration is focused on,
- 12:53Speaker 10: and hopefully we'll see some more media reports on this
- 12:57Speaker 10: whistleblower allegation. If this were first, if this were if
- 13:02Speaker 10: this were allegations against the President or any of these
- 13:05Speaker 10: cabinet officials, I'm sure everyone in this room would cover
- 13:07Speaker 10: it as such.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Carolyn Levitt, by the way, is absolutely right. The media
- 13:12Speaker 1: is not covering the story. Thank goodness, we're covering it.
- 13:15Speaker 1: And also they had a very interesting way of covering
- 13:17Speaker 1: this at Fox News on Brett Baar's show, I want
- 13:20Speaker 1: you to hear the latest of what he had to
- 13:22Speaker 1: say from Washington other store.
- 13:24Speaker 3: We're following tonight. California Senator Adam Schiff is being accused
- 13:29Speaker 3: by a fellow Democrat of leaking classified information relating to
- 13:32Speaker 3: the Russia Gate scandal. Shiff's office is denying those claims.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Senior Congressional correspondent Chad Program has all the details this
- 13:39Speaker 3: evening from Capitol Hill.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Treasonous and illegal.
- 13:44Speaker 12: That's how a Democratic whistleblower characterized Adam Schiff, accusing him
- 13:48Speaker 12: of green lighting the leak of classified information to undercut
- 13:51Speaker 12: President Trump during the twenty seventeen Russia Gate investigation.
- 13:56Speaker 10: The President has already said he wants to see Adam
- 13:58Speaker 10: Shiff held accountable for the count lies he told the
- 14:01Speaker 10: American people in relation to the Russia Gates scandal.
- 14:03Speaker 12: The whistleblower was a veteran House Intelligence Committee staffer. The
- 14:07Speaker 12: FBI summary obtained by Fox says Schiff told Aids he
- 14:10Speaker 12: would quote leak classified information which was derogatory to the
- 14:14Speaker 12: president in hopes of scoring an indictment for the commander
- 14:18Speaker 12: in chief.
- 14:19Speaker 2: It's beyond unseemly.
- 14:20Speaker 13: This was just an egregious breach and a really a
- 14:26Speaker 13: reprehensible act on the part of Adam.
- 14:29Speaker 12: Schiff's office calls this baseless smears, saying the whistleblower was
- 14:33Speaker 12: quote not reliable, not credible, and was fired. Schiff was
- 14:37Speaker 12: the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee as it
- 14:40Speaker 12: probed possible twenty sixteen election interference.
- 14:43Speaker 14: If the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it aided
- 14:48Speaker 14: or abetted the Russians, it would not only be a
- 14:50Speaker 14: serious crime, it would also represent one of the most
- 14:53Speaker 14: shocking betrayals of democracy in history.
- 14:56Speaker 12: Schiff, who led the democrats first impeachment of President Trump,
- 14:59Speaker 12: now faces an unrelated criminal investigation for alleged mortgage fraud.
- 15:03Speaker 5: Now it looks like Adam Schiff really did a bad thing.
- 15:09Speaker 12: They have them, Democrats say the GOP is trying to
- 15:12Speaker 12: shift the.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Narrative look This is a nonsense.
- 15:15Speaker 13: This is an effort to change the subject away from
- 15:18Speaker 13: the Epstein files.
- 15:21Speaker 12: The FBI summary indicates that Schiff hope Hillary Clinton would
- 15:24Speaker 12: win in twenty sixteen. Shiff aspired to run the CIA.
- 15:29Speaker 5: Right.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Can you imagine if Adam Schiff was running the CIA
- 15:33Speaker 1: what he would have done knowing that apparently he was
- 15:36Speaker 1: leaking this type of classified information totally to take down
- 15:40Speaker 1: the present of the United States of America. So when
- 15:44Speaker 1: you look back over this issue moving forward, yes there
- 15:47Speaker 1: should be accountability. There are some saying, Wow, this shouldn't
- 15:50Speaker 1: be an issue of accountability. Let's just move on from it.
- 15:54Speaker 1: If you're saying that, I think you're insane. Because these
- 15:57Speaker 1: people went totally outside of the time and time again
- 16:02Speaker 1: they abuse their power to try to overthrow the will
- 16:05Speaker 1: of the people. And that's exactly why the White House
- 16:08Speaker 1: reacted to this democratic whistleblower as a bombshell, and it's
- 16:12Speaker 1: also the reason why the media in general is not
- 16:16Speaker 1: covering it. Jonathan Turley, breaking down the latest allegations against
- 16:21Speaker 1: Adam Shift, had this to say about it.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 16:25Speaker 11: Welcome back Democrat Senator Adam Shift. He's known to shift
- 16:29Speaker 11: the narrative, particularly on the Russia collusion hoax.
- 16:33Speaker 13: This is about his clear evidence you could find of
- 16:36Speaker 13: intent by the campaign to collude with the Russians. He
- 16:40Speaker 13: may be the first president in quite some time to
- 16:42Speaker 13: face the real prospect of jail time. The Russians offered help,
- 16:45Speaker 13: the campaign accepted help, The Russians gave help, and the
- 16:49Speaker 13: President made full.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Use of that help.
- 16:51Speaker 13: The evidence is now overwhelming and unequivocal.
- 16:54Speaker 11: There is reporting almost testifying as to evidence linking dot
- 17:00Speaker 11: Trump to Russia. Newly released FBI memos, By the Way,
- 17:05Speaker 11: obtained by Fox show a Democrat whistleblower who's accusing Adam
- 17:09Speaker 11: Schiff of green lighting a leak of classified information in
- 17:14Speaker 11: order to damage Trump during the Russia Gate investigation.
- 17:17Speaker 2: The source recalled the following. In the meeting, Shifts.
- 17:21Speaker 11: Stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory
- 17:25Speaker 11: to President of the United States Donald J.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Trump.
- 17:28Speaker 11: Shifts stated the information would be used to indict President Trump.
- 17:32Speaker 11: Someone stated this would be illegal, and upon hearing his concerns,
- 17:36Speaker 11: an unnamed member of the meeting reassured that certain someone
- 17:40Speaker 11: they would not be caught leaking classified information.
- 17:44Speaker 2: No weather ever going to get caught woots.
- 17:48Speaker 11: FBI Director Cash Pattel posted, we found it. We declassified it.
- 17:53Speaker 11: Now Congress can see how classified info was leaked to
- 17:56Speaker 11: shape political narratives and decide if our institutions were weaponized
- 17:59Speaker 11: against the am Mayamerican people. Shift is saying, no, no, no, no,
- 18:02Speaker 11: Wait a minute, Wait a minute, wit a minute. I'm
- 18:04Speaker 11: not guilty of leaking classified information. Those baseless smears are
- 18:07Speaker 11: based on allegations that were found to be not reliable,
- 18:10Speaker 11: not credible, and uncnstantiated from a disgruntled former staffer who
- 18:13Speaker 11: was fired by the House Intel Committee for cause in
- 18:16Speaker 11: twenty seventeen, including for harassment and potentially compromising activity on
- 18:21Speaker 11: official travel for the committee. You want me to think
- 18:25Speaker 11: about official travel for the Committe when I'm sitting here
- 18:27Speaker 11: concerned about you leaking classified information? Joining me now, George
- 18:31Speaker 11: Washington University law professor and Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley,
- 18:35Speaker 11: Professor's great to see you here today. Leaking classified information.
- 18:38Speaker 11: That's a potentially very serious charge, is it not.
- 18:42Speaker 15: It doesn't get much more serious than that. The Chairman
- 18:45Speaker 15: of the House Intel Committee doesn't have declassification authority over
- 18:49Speaker 15: these types of documents. They are made available to Congress
- 18:52Speaker 15: under very tightly controlled rules. This has been a source
- 18:55Speaker 15: of tension for years, and members of both parties have
- 19:00Speaker 15: gone out of their way to assure that this material
- 19:04Speaker 15: would be closely held and not weaponized. Shift was viewed
- 19:09Speaker 15: it is one of the most political chairs of that
- 19:11Speaker 15: committee in its history, and this is an truly chilling
- 19:16Speaker 15: account if true. Now, when I first read it, frankly,
- 19:19Speaker 15: I was taken aback because it's perfectly moronic to commit
- 19:24Speaker 15: such a felony with a planning conference meeting with staff.
- 19:31Speaker 15: That's not usually how things are leaked in Washington, d C.
- 19:36Speaker 15: What makes this different, will is that this was a
- 19:39Speaker 15: statement made to FBI agents. The person who made this
- 19:43Speaker 15: statement was no doubt aware that lyning to FBI agents
- 19:47Speaker 15: is not just a crime, but a crime that was
- 19:49Speaker 15: repeatedly prosecuted during prior administrations, including the Obama and Biden administrations.
- 19:56Speaker 15: So making this statement puts you at risk. That's why
- 20:00Speaker 15: someone's lying here, and someone's a fellon.
- 20:03Speaker 1: The question now is do you believe Adam Schiff or
- 20:08Speaker 1: is Adam Schiff the felon and maybe the liar all
- 20:11Speaker 1: at the same time. We're going to keep covering this one.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I can promise you that it is Democrats' biggest fear.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Law and order returning state by state and states now
- 20:22Speaker 1: working with the Trump administration and ICE officials. Specifically, we
- 20:29Speaker 1: now have three states that have signed a new agreement
- 20:33Speaker 1: with ICE for quote expanded immigration enforcement operations. These three
- 20:40Speaker 1: states include West Virginia, South Dakota, and Arkansas, all signing
- 20:46Speaker 1: the agreements with the Department of Homeland Securities, US Immigration
- 20:49Speaker 1: and Customs Enforcement to specifically, they say, ramp up immigration
- 20:54Speaker 1: enforcement within their jurisdictions. West Virginia was the first one one.
- 21:00Speaker 1: The governor there, Patrick Morsey, announce a robust collaboration under
- 21:05Speaker 1: Section two eight seven G of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
- 21:11Speaker 1: This agreement enlists the West Virginia State Police, Corrections and
- 21:15Speaker 1: Rehabilitation Division and the National Guard to assist ICE in
- 21:20Speaker 1: immigration enforcement. Translation, if you're an a legal immigrant, you
- 21:25Speaker 1: don't want to be in West Virginia right now now.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Under this task force structure, officers can quote interrogate anyone
- 21:33Speaker 1: suspected of being an undocumented immigrant. Number two process immigration
- 21:39Speaker 1: violations for individuals already rested for other offenses. Three conduct
- 21:46Speaker 1: warrantless arrests if an individual is seen and suspected to
- 21:50Speaker 1: be a flight risk pending a warrant, four serve immigration warrants,
- 21:56Speaker 1: administer oas, collect fingerprints and gas their evidence, and five
- 22:02Speaker 1: issue immigration detainers and hold individuals in correctional facilities before
- 22:08Speaker 1: transferring them to ICE custy under federal supervision. You look
- 22:13Speaker 1: at what has happened in South Dakota. The governor there,
- 22:16Speaker 1: as part of his quote Operation Prairie Thunder, a public
- 22:20Speaker 1: safety initiative, will now have the South Dakota Highway Patrols
- 22:24Speaker 1: support ICE, with the rest announcing it today. The National
- 22:28Speaker 1: Guard assists with the processing and administrative tasks as well,
- 22:32Speaker 1: and the Department of Corrections will help transport detainees, identify
- 22:37Speaker 1: undocumented individuals within state prisons and parole them into ICE custody.
- 22:44Speaker 1: You then move to Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, former
- 22:48Speaker 1: White House pre Secretary under Donald Trump, signing the Defense
- 22:52Speaker 1: Against Criminal Illegals Act, which definitively increases penalties for undocumented
- 22:59Speaker 1: immigrants can to violent crimes, again saying to legal immigrants,
- 23:04Speaker 1: you don't want to be in Arkansas. It also, with
- 23:06Speaker 1: this new agreement allows sheriffs to apply for the two
- 23:10Speaker 1: eight seven G authority to serve immigration warrants on those
- 23:15Speaker 1: already in custody, and Sarah Huckebee Center's announcing this enables
- 23:20Speaker 1: the Arkansas State Police to stop individuals in public inquire
- 23:25Speaker 1: about immigration status and potentially arrest suspected undocumented immigrants. Now,
- 23:31Speaker 1: if you think they're doing this lighthearted, you're wrong. For example,
- 23:35Speaker 1: in Arkansas, there is training required, a forty hour online
- 23:39Speaker 1: course covering scope immigration law, civil rights, cross cultural issues,
- 23:45Speaker 1: as well as liability. Doing this in a responsible way.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Now you may be asking what is ICE two to
- 23:52Speaker 1: eight seven G program. Well, let me explain to you
- 23:55Speaker 1: the broader context of how this is being used by
- 23:58Speaker 1: the Trump administration. The program enables state and local officers
- 24:04Speaker 1: after ICE provided training, to carry out certain immigration enforcement
- 24:08Speaker 1: duties under ICE supervision. That is why there's a collaboration
- 24:12Speaker 1: here and why they are having to sign on to
- 24:16Speaker 1: the program.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Now.
- 24:17Speaker 1: As of August thirteenth, ICE has executed eight hundred and
- 24:22Speaker 1: ninety seven agreements across forty states, including various models such
- 24:28Speaker 1: as jail enforcement, warrant service, and task force operations.
- 24:34Speaker 2: The Trump administration has.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Significantly accelerated these partnerships, growing from around one hundred and
- 24:40Speaker 1: thirty five to over seven hundred agreements in early twenty
- 24:44Speaker 1: twenty five alone.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Of course, the left.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Is going insane, warning that the surge is a risk
- 24:51Speaker 1: to quote civil rights community trust and invites, they say,
- 24:55Speaker 1: racial profiling, even though none of these programs have anything
- 24:59Speaker 1: to do with that. Now, you also may be asking yourself,
- 25:02Speaker 1: why am I not quoting the president right now when
- 25:05Speaker 1: I'm telling you about this initiative. Well, the President clearly
- 25:09Speaker 1: is playing chess on the issue. In fact, the White
- 25:12Speaker 1: House has had no public statement or reaction regarding these
- 25:16Speaker 1: specific agreements with West Virginia, South Dakota, and Arkansas, mainly
- 25:21Speaker 1: because they want this to be clearly seen as state
- 25:25Speaker 1: led that these governors are opting in. And that is
- 25:28Speaker 1: exactly why the administration is being so successful in getting
- 25:32Speaker 1: this done with so many different agreements, because they're not grandstanding.
- 25:37Speaker 1: They're just trying to fight crime, and it's clearly working.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I want you also take a listen to West Virginia's
- 25:44Speaker 1: governor responding to the Trump administration's position on immigration enforcement
- 25:48Speaker 1: and entering into this agreement and what he says it's
- 25:51Speaker 1: going to do for his state, and also why so
- 25:53Speaker 1: many other states should get involved.
- 25:55Speaker 9: We always thought that when you're talking about Biden border disorder,
- 26:00Speaker 9: which is what occurred for four years, the best way
- 26:02Speaker 9: to deal with it is to have a partnership between
- 26:05Speaker 9: the states and the federal government. Now you're seeing that
- 26:08Speaker 9: with the Trump administration, which is incredible. So West Virginia
- 26:12Speaker 9: has actually entered into the two eighty seven g program,
- 26:16Speaker 9: and so we're working hand in hand with ICE to
- 26:19Speaker 9: identify illegal aliens and make sure that they can get deported.
- 26:24Speaker 9: And this is really important to do because, as President
- 26:27Speaker 9: Trump said yesterday, when you actually remove a lot of
- 26:30Speaker 9: these illegal aliens from the system, you're going to see
- 26:33Speaker 9: a reduction in crime. That there are a number of
- 26:35Speaker 9: people we found it even in West Virginia, murderers, attempted murder,
- 26:40Speaker 9: sexual assaults, all different types of crime. None of the
- 26:44Speaker 9: states need it.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Now we have a.
- 26:45Speaker 9: Partnership with the Trump administration.
- 26:48Speaker 4: And it's fabulous.
- 26:49Speaker 9: I know that I've talked to a Homeland Security Secretary,
- 26:52Speaker 9: Christy Nome. I've praised her for her or we're trying
- 26:56Speaker 9: to work together with them because it takes states working
- 26:59Speaker 9: with the government to make sure that we're kind of
- 27:02Speaker 9: reasserting our position and stopping all the horrific consequences of
- 27:07Speaker 9: what happened with the illegal immigrants coming in. I know
- 27:11Speaker 9: in West Virginia we really felt the impact of that
- 27:14Speaker 9: through the massive amount of death that flowed from fetanyl
- 27:17Speaker 9: that flooded into our state, originally from China, went through
- 27:21Speaker 9: the Mexican drug cartels, made its way into the US.
- 27:25Speaker 9: I think you're seeing a very different and a much
- 27:27Speaker 9: more successful approach, and I'm glad that our state is
- 27:31Speaker 9: a part of that.
- 27:33Speaker 1: One of the most important things that was said there
- 27:35Speaker 1: by the West Virginia governor was how he said West
- 27:38Speaker 1: Virginia had quote become an effective border state due to
- 27:43Speaker 1: the massive fetno problem caused by illegal immigration. The fetno
- 27:48Speaker 1: outbreak in West Virginia has been catastrophic, especially on young people.
- 27:53Speaker 1: This is one of the reasons why the governor said
- 27:55Speaker 1: he's so eager to work with ICE because of how
- 27:58Speaker 1: many lives he believes he's going to be able to save. Now,
- 28:01Speaker 1: the National Guard and the State police will have quote
- 28:04Speaker 1: task force authority, and that is going to be huge
- 28:08Speaker 1: and going after the drug traffickers. Why it gives them
- 28:12Speaker 1: the authority to interrogate any person they believe to be
- 28:16Speaker 1: an illegal immigrant as to his right to remain in
- 28:20Speaker 1: the US now under the supervision or direction of the
- 28:23Speaker 1: federal government, meaning ICE agents officers will also be able
- 28:29Speaker 1: to process immigration related violations for those arrested for state
- 28:35Speaker 1: or federal offenses. This is going to allow the governor
- 28:39Speaker 1: and his team to actually be able to do what
- 28:41Speaker 1: they need to do. It also allows for them to
- 28:44Speaker 1: have quote, warrantless arrests of any illegal immigrant in the
- 28:48Speaker 1: officer's presence or view if that person is believed to
- 28:52Speaker 1: be a flight risk in the interim of obtaining a warrant.
- 28:57Speaker 1: So the governor they are authorizing this state law enforcement
- 29:01Speaker 1: to serve immigration warrants, administer os, and collect evidence for
- 29:07Speaker 1: required alien processing. This will allow for fingerprinting and suspect
- 29:13Speaker 1: interviews to be done.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Now. This is also going to have a.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Huge impact just on the psyche of illegal immigrants and
- 29:19Speaker 1: cartel members in West Virginia because now they understand that
- 29:24Speaker 1: virtually anyone in law enforcement now can do the job
- 29:27Speaker 1: they need to do to find out who they are
- 29:29Speaker 1: and stop them, something that was not happening under the
- 29:33Speaker 1: Biden regime. And that's why the President's being pretty quiet
- 29:36Speaker 1: about this because it's happening in real time and he's
- 29:39Speaker 1: letting the governors lead in these states. Don't forget Share
