- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and its tobing not good. String together, please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't joining me. You turn hur you're going to do?
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out? Turn you haven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out? Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come, come on your fab uh huh I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shore will good Marning. Everybody you're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and all, it's Steve Harvey.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Got a radio show. Well, all right, I've learned something
- 2:19Speaker 1: and sharing time, and I am all ever appreciated. I
- 2:25Speaker 1: do appreciate God for all that he allows me to
- 2:29Speaker 1: learn in my life. One of the best lessons I've
- 2:34Speaker 1: learned is that hardship teaches you some great lessons. Challenges
- 2:44Speaker 1: brings about some of my best results. I think what
- 2:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is in every challenge and hardship,
- 2:54Speaker 1: every setback, I've learned something so so valuable. So here's
- 3:01Speaker 1: what I've You know, I've known this, but I've just
- 3:05Speaker 1: learned it at a different angle. Appreciation and gratitude is
- 3:11Speaker 1: the key to having more Now. I don't know how
- 3:17Speaker 1: that sound to you, but I can't tell you how
- 3:22Speaker 1: true it is. God being fair and just as he
- 3:26Speaker 1: really is. He really is. He's a fair and a
- 3:29Speaker 1: just God. What's most beneficial to us is he happens
- 3:33Speaker 1: to be full of mercy and grace. And I'm telling
- 3:40Speaker 1: you something, man, I've probably benefited from his grace and
- 3:47Speaker 1: mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man, if
- 3:52Speaker 1: it wasn't for him just forgiving me, and then for
- 3:58Speaker 1: him just touching my life the way he has, I mean,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I'm I'm not hearing this position today. I'm just not.
- 4:07Speaker 1: But a funny thing has happened along the way, even
- 4:11Speaker 1: to you. If you look at it, is it your
- 4:14Speaker 1: genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to you
- 4:20Speaker 1: having more for your continued blessings and for making room
- 4:27Speaker 1: for having to open up and pour out blessings that
- 4:29Speaker 1: you don't have room enough to receive. If you look
- 4:32Speaker 1: at it, see God being a fair and just God,
- 4:35Speaker 1: which he is, why would he put more on you
- 4:41Speaker 1: than you can bad? If you've noticed everything that's happened
- 4:46Speaker 1: in your life, if you're still here, you've made it.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You know, forget how rough it was, got that but
- 4:53Speaker 1: you made it. Forget what it sent you through, and
- 4:57Speaker 1: it hid made you feel you made it. Now, what
- 5:03Speaker 1: makes people give up and you hear about people committing
- 5:06Speaker 1: suicide is they leave the God out of their life
- 5:10Speaker 1: and they start allowing that other voice to control. And
- 5:14Speaker 1: if it's really true that God never puts more on
- 5:16Speaker 1: you than you can bear, as long as you stay
- 5:18Speaker 1: connected to God, you can get through anything. But you
- 5:23Speaker 1: lose that connection, you lose that communication, you lose that
- 5:29Speaker 1: relationship with him. If you're not having a relationship with God,
- 5:33Speaker 1: then who you're having a relationship with Now it ain't
- 5:39Speaker 1: but two forces at work at all time. It's good
- 5:43Speaker 1: and evil, it's positive and negative. It's God, it's Satan. Now,
- 5:51Speaker 1: this is at work all the time. So if you're
- 5:56Speaker 1: not being positive about everything, you leave room for negativity
- 6:00Speaker 1: to step in. If you're not trying to be righteous
- 6:04Speaker 1: in your way, then you allow evil to step in.
- 6:08Speaker 1: If you don't work on your relationship with God, come on, now,
- 6:13Speaker 1: look who you're letting step in. So now I'm asking
- 6:18Speaker 1: you to understand that God never puts more on you
- 6:22Speaker 1: than you can bear. Okay, now that we got that clear,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that's a fact Okay, Now, with that fact in mind,
- 6:28Speaker 1: let's go over this right here. Why would God, being
- 6:31Speaker 1: as just and merciful as he is, put more on
- 6:35Speaker 1: you than you can bear? Example, if God has given
- 6:40Speaker 1: you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about him,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it. Why
- 6:49Speaker 1: would he give you some most stuff to be ungrateful for.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff to complain about?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff that you
- 6:57Speaker 1: would not show any more appreciation for? I mean, this
- 7:01Speaker 1: thing is real simple, man, ain't it if you think
- 7:03Speaker 1: about it? So? A lot of times, man, when I
- 7:06Speaker 1: was going through my positions of not having it and
- 7:09Speaker 1: wondering at all like here, I ended up checking myself
- 7:12Speaker 1: and going, man, I'm not even showing any gratitude or
- 7:15Speaker 1: appreciation for the things He has done for me. Start
- 7:18Speaker 1: showing some appreciation and gratitude because it's the key to
- 7:21Speaker 1: having more. It's the key to continued blessings. It's the
- 7:26Speaker 1: key to the wonders of heaven opening up and pouring
- 7:28Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you already have,
- 7:37Speaker 1: as minimal as it may appear to be right now
- 7:41Speaker 1: for you, it is still what you have. But if
- 7:45Speaker 1: you've shown no gratual, no gratitude for the minimal, why
- 7:52Speaker 1: would he give you the maximum? I mean, I'm just
- 7:56Speaker 1: really just trying to put it real, real, simple, so
- 7:59Speaker 1: I can keep understanding this thing right here. So let
- 8:02Speaker 1: me give you an example. In my life, I had
- 8:05Speaker 1: gotten so busy at one point that I had began
- 8:11Speaker 1: to complain about how busy I was. This is true
- 8:16Speaker 1: because I am busy, but it ain't the busy part,
- 8:21Speaker 1: because I asked to be busy. You know, I asked
- 8:23Speaker 1: God to give me opportunities and to make a way
- 8:27Speaker 1: for me. Well, in that you got to do something,
- 8:30Speaker 1: and you got to get busy. But I began to
- 8:34Speaker 1: complain about the business and how busy I was, and
- 8:38Speaker 1: I noticed that a couple of things slowed up for me.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So I had got to the point where I wasn't
- 8:45Speaker 1: showing real gratitude for it. Well, I looked up and
- 8:48Speaker 1: a couple of things started slowing down, and then I
- 8:51Speaker 1: had to catch myself and I went, wow, man, you
- 8:54Speaker 1: have got to start embracing the fact that you are
- 8:57Speaker 1: this busy, embraced the fact that what all comes along
- 9:02Speaker 1: with it. Because to whom much is given, much is required.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You got to start embracing the requirement part if you
- 9:09Speaker 1: want to continue with the giving part. So I changed
- 9:12Speaker 1: my attitude. I caught myself and I started thinking him
- 9:16Speaker 1: and showing real gratitude for how busy I was instead
- 9:18Speaker 1: of complaining about how busy I was. And then guess what.
- 9:21Speaker 1: It opened up the windows of heaven and some more
- 9:24Speaker 1: blessings got poured out. It just works that way all
- 9:27Speaker 1: the time, for everybody, for me, for you, for everybody.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So listen, y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:35Speaker 1: key to having more. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:38Speaker 1: key to continued blessings. And your appreciation and gratitude it's
- 9:43Speaker 1: the only way that you can get those windows of
- 9:46Speaker 1: heaven to open up and pour out to these blessings
- 9:48Speaker 1: that you won't have room enough to receive. You gotta
- 9:51Speaker 1: act like you're glad for what you got in order
- 9:53Speaker 1: to get more. You feel me, Let's go, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: it is here. The Steve Harvey Morning Show has arrived,
- 10:07Speaker 1: full of vitality. It's another day, another opportunity. I thank
- 10:11Speaker 1: God for it in my new attempt to just let
- 10:17Speaker 1: God lead, drive control and I merely follow. That can
- 10:25Speaker 1: be difficult sometimes because of the way we are built
- 10:28Speaker 1: as humans. We want to get in there and get
- 10:32Speaker 1: involved and make decisions, and you're still gonna have to
- 10:35Speaker 1: make decisions. I'm just trying to slow it down and
- 10:38Speaker 1: make sure that it is him that is in his wheel.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Troubling sometimes, but that's the best way to live. I'm
- 10:45Speaker 1: here enjoying it, rolling doing my things. Steve Harvey, Martin Show,
- 10:48Speaker 1: Shery Strawberry, Colin Farrell, Mouth of the South, Junior, and
- 10:53Speaker 1: the legend that is nephew Tommy Junior. I don't want
- 10:57Speaker 1: to say what's on your mind, but what's on you? Yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm not the day. Uncle is different man, because this
- 11:03Speaker 1: is serious from me the day, because this is something
- 11:05Speaker 1: I'm going through. And I know you've been through this
- 11:06Speaker 1: because you sixty six, but un given like the more
- 11:12Speaker 1: we give because we bless Well, I'm just saying because
- 11:16Speaker 1: I'm saying that because he didn't been because because you
- 11:19Speaker 1: didn't seen him, I know it's not a new situation
- 11:26Speaker 1: to him. Yeah, it is because it's something that I
- 11:30Speaker 1: know you haven't seen somewhere. It's experience, that's all I'm saying.
- 11:33Speaker 1: But you know we've been blessed, and you know we
- 11:34Speaker 1: get asked to help people all the time. But this
- 11:37Speaker 1: given thing, man, this whole every time somebody get a problem,
- 11:42Speaker 1: we got to show up or they ain't got nobody
- 11:45Speaker 1: else to call. It's just can you or would you?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Will you? Have you? Can you? Will you? Dog? Is
- 11:53Speaker 1: there an end to this party? That's not the to
- 12:00Speaker 1: who much is given? Much is required and the requirements
- 12:06Speaker 1: don't stop. Now, the requirements can stop if you stop
- 12:11Speaker 1: the wonton and then he stopped the giving. Oh that's
- 12:19Speaker 1: the only way you ended quit. Won't he quit giving?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Then you don't have to worry about to whom much
- 12:27Speaker 1: is given, because you ain't gotten nothing. And then the
- 12:32Speaker 1: much is required, it stays to say. But see, that's
- 12:37Speaker 1: not the way you want to live. You have to
- 12:40Speaker 1: remember some other things too. God blesses you to become
- 12:44Speaker 1: a blessing. It does, yes, sir. Now with all of this,
- 12:49Speaker 1: do we owe people's stuff? Absolutely not. And you have
- 12:54Speaker 1: to be aware that there are people who take advantage
- 12:57Speaker 1: of that because some people will think since you have
- 13:01Speaker 1: been blessed and you have been much given, that they
- 13:06Speaker 1: can ask for it. You're going to have to accommodate
- 13:09Speaker 1: yourself and learn the method of buying them out of
- 13:12Speaker 1: your life. That's why I stopped loaning money and I
- 13:16Speaker 1: started giving money. I want my money back now. I
- 13:20Speaker 1: want to buy people out. So if you come to
- 13:22Speaker 1: me and you ask me for some money, and I say,
- 13:24Speaker 1: I'm not gonna loan it to you, but I'm gonna
- 13:25Speaker 1: give it to you, Oh, I got a course, man,
- 13:27Speaker 1: We got un out. Unfortunately. By all right, part two
- 13:35Speaker 1: maybe later on. All right, coming up at thirty two
- 13:37Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll hear from the nephew. He's
- 13:41Speaker 1: gonna run that prank back right after this. You're listening
- 13:45Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it is
- 13:48Speaker 1: time now to run that prank back with the nephew.
- 13:50Speaker 1: What you got for us? Now? I didn't said it,
- 13:53Speaker 1: and I said it yesterday, and I'm gonna say it again.
- 13:55Speaker 1: That ain't my brother's baby. What what? What? What? What? Why?
- 14:00Speaker 1: That ain't my brother's baby. We've been to get all
- 14:02Speaker 1: this out on the table right here, right now, that
- 14:04Speaker 1: ain't my brother. Baby, Let's go cat down. Don't worry
- 14:08Speaker 1: about It's something I need to take care. I talked
- 14:10Speaker 1: to man, I speak to Terry. My name is Darrel,
- 14:13Speaker 1: Damon is my brother. I don't live in Dallas where
- 14:16Speaker 1: y'all live. That I'm the one that live out of town.
- 14:18Speaker 1: But we didn't have a family meeting and talked about it.
- 14:21Speaker 1: And uh, I know Travis is your son. He eight
- 14:24Speaker 1: years old. But the problem is the reason why I'm
- 14:27Speaker 1: calling you, Terry, is caused we didn't found out that
- 14:32Speaker 1: Travis ain't none of Damon's child. Travis ain't none of
- 14:36Speaker 1: damon child. He'd been paying you child support here for
- 14:39Speaker 1: the last eight hold On, you said your name was
- 14:42Speaker 1: who I'm Darrel, I'm damon brother, and who gave you
- 14:45Speaker 1: this information? We all have found the information out. We
- 14:48Speaker 1: actually gonna go down there to the courthouse and get
- 14:50Speaker 1: all this stuff rectified. But we didn't found out that
- 14:54Speaker 1: Travis ain't No, ain't none of Damon's child. And he've
- 14:56Speaker 1: been sitting up here sending you money seven eight hundred
- 14:59Speaker 1: dollars a month and this child ain't even here. Now.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I hate for Travis to find this out, and he
- 15:03Speaker 1: gonna have to find it out, but he ain't going
- 15:07Speaker 1: to find as Why are you calling me? Look? The
- 15:10Speaker 1: family that had a meeting, and I'm the one that
- 15:11Speaker 1: they decided to make the phone call and tell you
- 15:14Speaker 1: what's going on now, don't you You You don't have
- 15:17Speaker 1: a damn thing to do with this. You You ain't
- 15:19Speaker 1: nobody daddy over here. So I'm not sure what you're
- 15:21Speaker 1: calling for. Who God made you key or wanted you
- 15:24Speaker 1: to be head in charge to call but that it's
- 15:27Speaker 1: not gonna work out. But let me why why are
- 15:29Speaker 1: you doing this to my brother? That's what I'm saying.
- 15:32Speaker 1: For eight years, the man been sitting you seven hundred
- 15:34Speaker 1: and seven dollars a month and and this ain't even
- 15:36Speaker 1: his child. Well you know, why why am I even
- 15:41Speaker 1: talking to you? I'm not really sure your brother need
- 15:43Speaker 1: to call me if he has any problems of questions?
- 15:46Speaker 1: You Hello, You don't hang no damn phone up on me.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Damon told me the last was hard headed anyway, Now, look,
- 15:57Speaker 1: you know what you got the wrong one? Baby? Like you,
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm trying not lose all my religion today, but you're
- 16:02Speaker 1: about to make me lose it on ya. You don't
- 16:04Speaker 1: know who you know it over here. So, like I
- 16:06Speaker 1: said before, my fund your nephew that you're trying not
- 16:11Speaker 1: to claim over there. I don't know why you came
- 16:13Speaker 1: from wherever the here you said you came from the
- 16:14Speaker 1: Dallas to try to I came from California down here
- 16:17Speaker 1: to Dallas, and I'm telling you need to take your breath.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I'm back to California because down here you don't know
- 16:22Speaker 1: me like that. No, I don't know you, but I'm
- 16:24Speaker 1: fend to know you. And Travis been to know that
- 16:26Speaker 1: my brother ain't his daddy. No, I don't know you
- 16:30Speaker 1: know what. You need to talk to your brother again.
- 16:32Speaker 1: That's what you need to do. And you don't need
- 16:33Speaker 1: to be talking to me. You've been to send us
- 16:35Speaker 1: all the money and my brother didn't sent y'all. I
- 16:40Speaker 1: and when I do, look when I said, when I
- 16:42Speaker 1: sent all that eight years worth of money back, you're
- 16:45Speaker 1: gonna send every dying back because it belonged to my
- 16:47Speaker 1: brother that ain't my brother. Child. Now, we ain't got
- 16:50Speaker 1: time to be going on on mare pover showing nothing
- 16:52Speaker 1: to find out who you know what? Like I said,
- 16:55Speaker 1: you picked the wrong one to be your best been
- 16:57Speaker 1: not to call me anymore. You Actually, it is a
- 17:00Speaker 1: good thing that you call because if you can't knock
- 17:02Speaker 1: it on my b you to got y'all with today,
- 17:04Speaker 1: No you got, that's my second thing I've been to do.
- 17:06Speaker 1: If we can't rectified over the fall, I don't have
- 17:09Speaker 1: a problem coming over there knocking down some does and
- 17:11Speaker 1: getting some questions answered, because damn it, this ain't Damon's baby.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Obviously you must wish it was yours. So you're taking
- 17:17Speaker 1: so much entry. No it ain't mine, but but it
- 17:20Speaker 1: ain't game Won's either, and we got to us had
- 17:23Speaker 1: any and looking for from But I'm sorry this was
- 17:26Speaker 1: taken over here and Damon where we continue to play?
- 17:29Speaker 1: When you old Damon, don't open. That's far with your
- 17:32Speaker 1: brother's nay that I want to play. I'm sorry. He's
- 17:34Speaker 1: gonna continue to play and you can call wherever you
- 17:36Speaker 1: want to come, do whatever you want to do. So
- 17:38Speaker 1: go back and tell your mama and everybody else who's
- 17:41Speaker 1: waiting for this meeting to let them know it ain't
- 17:43Speaker 1: having me. Look, my mama ain't got nothing to do
- 17:46Speaker 1: with it. Mama been that's your mamma. You say your mamma.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Now y'all got to get us. She's the same way, like,
- 17:51Speaker 1: I'll see where you get it from. You're like just
- 17:52Speaker 1: like her. Mama knows that y'all from knows it people
- 17:56Speaker 1: my y'all damn business. That's a grown man. That ain't
- 17:58Speaker 1: My mama said it from the get go, that it
- 18:00Speaker 1: wasn't hunting, that it wasn't day when him. I mean
- 18:03Speaker 1: your mama, the two faced lock, because you're all with
- 18:05Speaker 1: your mama said. You ain't been to sit here and
- 18:07Speaker 1: bring my mama up in this. Well, if you know
- 18:10Speaker 1: so much, then you back come back on my ball.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I'm not on my bare if you want to. We
- 18:13Speaker 1: didn't done the man seven hundred and fifty dollars times
- 18:16Speaker 1: twelve then times eight is seventy two thousand dollars. That's
- 18:21Speaker 1: how much money. And my brother didn't send you, and
- 18:24Speaker 1: that's how much we want back. And I need you
- 18:26Speaker 1: to get the working on this money. Nah, okay, why
- 18:30Speaker 1: don't you come over here and get it. Don't get
- 18:32Speaker 1: your whoop today, Terry, come on over here. You don't
- 18:34Speaker 1: see you on get thay. Well, if you you in
- 18:36Speaker 1: Dallas when I don't care nothingbody but I'm in no Dallas.
- 18:40Speaker 1: You ain't canna for you. So what I don't even
- 18:42Speaker 1: know what they here. I don't why I'm I don't
- 18:44Speaker 1: even gonna why away for my time talking to you?
- 18:46Speaker 1: Like I said, your brother is a week if he
- 18:49Speaker 1: got to call you, y'all had I'm meeting and you
- 18:51Speaker 1: got to be the one to call. I'm not really understanding. Look,
- 18:54Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say to you,
- 18:56Speaker 1: is you're listening to me? You know you know my
- 18:58Speaker 1: damn nerves. That's what you're doing. You you respect me?

- 22:11Speaker 1: really sweet to you, and you don't understand what the
- 22:14Speaker 1: thing is. Now, a couple of things could be happening.
- 22:19Speaker 1: He don't want his mamma to know that he treats
- 22:22Speaker 1: you that way. He could not want you to appear

- 23:23Speaker 1: way you got him is the way you will lose him,
- 23:26Speaker 1: and hashtag hey back. I found out it was his

- 24:26Speaker 1: Moving on to Bethany and Metiri. Bethany and Metiri says,
- 24:30Speaker 1: my boyfriend wants me to look perfect each time we
- 24:33Speaker 1: have sex. He wants me in lingerie with my makeup
- 24:37Speaker 1: and my hair done. I refused to get glammed up
- 24:40Speaker 1: when he usually doesn't even take a shower for me.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Why does he think he deserves that? See y'all, y'all
- 24:50Speaker 1: taking this to long see hear what it is? Okay,
- 24:57Speaker 1: the way they met, that's he saw her. Okay, got that?
- 25:03Speaker 1: Who got it? Won't? You're not going to keep getting that?
- 25:06Speaker 1: His fantasy is the aingerie and all that every time.
- 25:13Speaker 1: The reality is where you think this is happening that
- 25:17Speaker 1: in the world every time you want to have sex.
- 25:21Speaker 1: You're going to have to get into a different world
- 25:24Speaker 1: in order to get all that every time you have sex,
- 25:27Speaker 1: and you're gonna be broke. So, dude, I don't know
- 25:31Speaker 1: what your problem is, but you this is not how
- 25:33Speaker 1: this works, man, This is not not not at all
- 25:37Speaker 1: ship And he ain't seen how tied up and stuff.
- 25:40Speaker 1: He ain't seen that. I'm on boy hunting out fits.
- 25:47Speaker 1: You ain't seen more. The ones is soup. I can

- 25:53Speaker 1: even take a shower for her. She she's the ball. Yeah,
- 25:59Speaker 1: but that's once again that's somebody wanting something from somebody
- 26:01Speaker 1: else day willing to give. Right. Don't really work out
- 26:05Speaker 1: like that ever. Nope, nope, nope, nope. All right, So
- 26:11Speaker 1: moving on last one, Steve to TP in Brooklyn. TP says,
- 26:15Speaker 1: my girl gave me a Louis Vauton belt and wallet
- 26:18Speaker 1: for Christmas. The belt was too small, so I went
- 26:21Speaker 1: to exchange it and the manager said it's fake and
- 26:25Speaker 1: my wallet is too. I didn't tell my girl about it,
- 26:29Speaker 1: but is it wrong to give her a fake purse
- 26:31Speaker 1: for Valentine's Day which is coming up very soon? I
- 26:37Speaker 1: think it's fair game. Now personally, we just given were
- 26:44Speaker 1: behind the look you got the fake belt and fake
- 26:49Speaker 1: wallet saves a lot of money. Now, Shirley has been
- 26:53Speaker 1: a recipient of a fake bag before because of years ago.
- 26:58Speaker 1: In that La, my partner, now who I won't mention
- 27:04Speaker 1: the name, gave the ladies on the radio show a gift,
- 27:10Speaker 1: and the gift was purses, So he went out and
- 27:13Speaker 1: bought the purses at the swape. He did, and when
- 27:17Speaker 1: they came in that morning, he had stuck one of
- 27:19Speaker 1: them stick bowls on each bag in front of the
- 27:23Speaker 1: station with Christmas time. Yeah. I just happened to have
- 27:26Speaker 1: got to work before him and walked into the studio
- 27:28Speaker 1: and look at the bags and went, hold on, y'all,
- 27:32Speaker 1: you can't don't you can't do that. Can't gonna be
- 27:35Speaker 1: able to tell? I just you just found it, right,
- 27:42Speaker 1: I can't the hell you mean? They can't tell? Who
- 27:45Speaker 1: can't tell? The badger? Listen, this bag, says goosey. You'll
- 27:54Speaker 1: see a go see what you say? Oh what are
- 27:57Speaker 1: you giving them? Yeah? They weren't in box is or anything,
- 28:00Speaker 1: just the red bows on the bag. Yeah, too many
- 28:04Speaker 1: as product. Dog y'all got him? You saw it? Yeah
- 28:11Speaker 1: they were yeah right there in the studio. Gave them
- 28:14Speaker 1: to the bows on the front, stick bowls. I felt
- 28:18Speaker 1: so bad man. Them girls came to work, they were, oh,
- 28:23Speaker 1: we had to be gracious. We couldn't say these are
- 28:25Speaker 1: bank we don't want he's standing there. Yeah, he don't
- 28:32Speaker 1: work on the lock. This boy was. He walked out
- 28:39Speaker 1: that room. They were looking so crazy. I said, I'm sorry,
- 28:43Speaker 1: you still got you still got. I think I regift it.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I think I give house. You didn't know it was
- 28:55Speaker 1: a I've ever seen that. I knew right away. Yeah,
- 28:58Speaker 1: this should be Steve Knows all right, coming up at
- 29:02Speaker 1: the top of the hour, We'll have some entertainment news
- 29:04Speaker 1: for you. Right after this. You're listening to the same
- 29:08Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Omega Sci Fi Fraternity, Incorporated has revoked
- 29:15Speaker 1: the membership of the police officers responsible for the death
- 29:18Speaker 1: of Tyree Nichols. The fraternal organization released an official statement
- 29:22Speaker 1: in which they expressed condolences for the Nichols family and
- 29:26Speaker 1: shared that the three Omega Sci Fi officers involved that's
- 29:30Speaker 1: to Darius Bean, Demetrius Hailey, and Emmett Martin the third
- 29:34Speaker 1: were no longer a part of the organization. It read,
- 29:39Speaker 1: effective immediately, the fraternity has revoked the membership of the
- 29:42Speaker 1: three former Memphis police officers and all related privileges they
- 29:46Speaker 1: may have enjoyed as members of our fraternity. The statement
- 29:50Speaker 1: is posted on the fraternity's official website. I mean it's simple.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Those of us are in frats. We have a shield.
- 29:58Speaker 1: That's our shield. We we pledge an oath to it.
- 30:03Speaker 1: We have some standards, we have principles that we are
- 30:06Speaker 1: to live by. Now these cats right here that put
- 30:10Speaker 1: on another shield called a badge no longer live by
- 30:15Speaker 1: the principles of what we are preside under. They don't.
- 30:20Speaker 1: They don't. They don't do anything of what our fraternity
- 30:23Speaker 1: is about, not Omega sci fi. And so you put
- 30:27Speaker 1: that other badge on, and you woe that shield, and
- 30:31Speaker 1: you acted out as a member of that shield and
- 30:34Speaker 1: that badge and that police department in that sector. That's
- 30:38Speaker 1: what you acted under. Now when you now that they've
- 30:41Speaker 1: stripped you of that, what you're not gonna do is
- 30:45Speaker 1: set up in here and they claim this now you out,
- 30:49Speaker 1: you out, you out. There's nothing to do with us
- 30:53Speaker 1: at all. You acted under your other shield, under your
- 30:57Speaker 1: other badge, and that's what you acted. As we've done
- 31:00Speaker 1: with it. We not had nothing like that. Acadoluses go
- 31:03Speaker 1: out to the Nichols family, we understand. But Shoda set
- 31:07Speaker 1: up in here and bought into the code of another
- 31:09Speaker 1: culture nine hours. So that's what you did. So now
- 31:13Speaker 1: you hour or ever come to us with nothing we
- 31:15Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you. When you've got no legal
- 31:17Speaker 1: we got nothing. It's talking on yeah and they beat yeah.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Vicious and horrible, all right, m Switching gears and moving
- 31:27Speaker 1: on to Neo. The divorce between Neo and Crystal Renee
- 31:32Speaker 1: was finalized yesterday. According to TMZ, Neo was ordered to
- 31:36Speaker 1: pay Crystal Renee one point six million dollars in a
- 31:38Speaker 1: lump sum. He will keep three of their four homes
- 31:42Speaker 1: and their Bentley Bintega. Crystal Renee will get twenty thousand
- 31:45Speaker 1: dollars removing costs and one hundred and fifty thousand dollars
- 31:49Speaker 1: to buy a new car. Neo has to pay twelve
- 31:51Speaker 1: thousand dollars monthly for child support. They do have three
- 31:55Speaker 1: children together, and he will cover all of their school costs.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Crystal Renee will get five thousand dollars in alimony per
- 32:02Speaker 1: month for the next three years. UH. They got married
- 32:05Speaker 1: back in twenty and sixteen, if you remember, they broke
- 32:07Speaker 1: up a few years after that. Then they got back together,
- 32:10Speaker 1: remarried and according to the post of the past social
- 32:14Speaker 1: media posts, Crystal Ronee alleges that Neo cheated on her
- 32:18Speaker 1: repeatedly with numerous women, so that's why the divorce. Well
- 32:24Speaker 1: thousand plus five and seventeen thousand? Yeah, do that math?
- 32:30Speaker 1: Why she need a new attorney? How much money? How much?
- 32:35Speaker 1: You know what? How much more money she needs? I
- 32:38Speaker 1: don't know. It depends, we don't know. Yeah, it depends
- 32:41Speaker 1: a lot more. Yea, he wrote a lot of songs.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Whatever the three kids? Do the math? Yeah? Three kids?
- 32:50Speaker 1: Three kids per child per month? What does it take
- 32:54Speaker 1: to take care of a child? A lot depends on
- 32:58Speaker 1: the lifestyle that they lifestyle is not changing. Anybody want
- 33:04Speaker 1: to ask the person who's the XP ship why y'all
- 33:10Speaker 1: all speculate? Ask you man? Yeah, it's twelve grand. I mean,
- 33:17Speaker 1: let's be really real about this. It's twelve grand enough
- 33:20Speaker 1: to take care of three children on a monthly basis. No,
- 33:30Speaker 1: come on, man, See twelve thousand dollars he said what
- 33:33Speaker 1: he said. See listen to me. I've been to court.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Y'all stop all this right here. This ain't how this works.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Twelve thousand dollars. Majority of the people hearing this news
- 33:46Speaker 1: is beyond adequate because there are so many people who
- 33:49Speaker 1: don't make twelve thousand dollars a month period, right right.
- 33:53Speaker 1: The problem with child support when you are wealthy, is
- 33:58Speaker 1: you are not paid to make sure the child can survive.
- 34:02Speaker 1: You are paid to make sure the child has the
- 34:04Speaker 1: ability to continue in the lifestyle that they have been
- 34:08Speaker 1: accustomed to. You ain't leaving nobody and then your kids
- 34:13Speaker 1: all of a sudden life diminish. Hello, not what's gonna
- 34:17Speaker 1: go ahead? Okay? Okay? Did I say that? Did think
- 34:25Speaker 1: they can call them? She never had divorce? Just talked
- 34:30Speaker 1: so okay, okay, that's that's twelve grand. Now, last week
- 34:34Speaker 1: on I think it was last week, we talked about
- 34:36Speaker 1: this guy DJ Mustard, and DJ Mustard got hit for
- 34:40Speaker 1: how much some change? He got three kids? Okay, so
- 34:47Speaker 1: is that enough? Eighty some thousand dollars a month? But
- 34:51Speaker 1: does does that keep them in the lifestyle of DJ Mustard.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I can promise you, I can promise you I can
- 35:00Speaker 1: have the same children with that twelve living like Mustards kids.
- 35:05Speaker 1: At least here's the other thing that you in and
- 35:09Speaker 1: we can continue this because this is a question. Well
- 35:12Speaker 1: we can continue this. But here's the other thing you
- 35:14Speaker 1: have to consider. In the divorce settlement. A lot of
- 35:18Speaker 1: things are mentioned behind the doors in the settlement that
- 35:21Speaker 1: we are not privy too. You know, there's eighty two thousand.
- 35:24Speaker 1: You may call it child support, but it can be
- 35:27Speaker 1: for a lot of stuff. Now, I can not expose
- 35:30Speaker 1: this information or this can go into public records. You
- 35:33Speaker 1: want to keep this out of public records, and you
- 35:35Speaker 1: offer to pay that much money? All right? All right,
- 35:40Speaker 1: we'll never agree on this. Coming up in twenty minutes
- 35:42Speaker 1: after a Georgia student physically attacks a teacher and has
- 35:48Speaker 1: been charged with aggravated battery. We'll talk about this story
- 35:51Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show, all right. So
- 35:57Speaker 1: on our last break, we were talking about the divorce
- 35:59Speaker 1: between Neo and Crystal Reneeb Yeah, very touchy, talking about
- 36:06Speaker 1: Battle of the Sexes. We definitely disagree on this. I
- 36:10Speaker 1: was playing George Steve in this segment, right, Yes, you were, surely,
- 36:14Speaker 1: and Colin clearly okay, with everything that happened. The Fellas
- 36:18Speaker 1: have a problem with Neo Junior. You had a question, yeah,
- 36:22Speaker 1: I did. Now, Now for the amount of money that
- 36:24Speaker 1: he's paying the seventeen thousand thousand a month, now, just
- 36:29Speaker 1: me and Tommy Fields child Well, twelve thousand is for
- 36:32Speaker 1: child support, the five thousand is for alimony, Okay, seventeen
- 36:37Speaker 1: thousand right for the next three years. Now alimonial No.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Five thousand is alimony. Twelve K five is the next
- 36:44Speaker 1: three years, the seventh, the twelve doesn't stop, It keeps going.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Twenty thousand figure I heard shrilly, Yes, yes you did.
- 36:53Speaker 1: She's going to get twenty thousand dollars for moving costs
- 36:56Speaker 1: and one hundred and fifty thousand dollars to buy a
- 36:58Speaker 1: new car. We see moving and she's getting a one
- 37:02Speaker 1: lump song of one point six million, and she gets
- 37:07Speaker 1: he'll keep three of their four homes and the Bentley.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Then tega, okay, go ahead, question JUDI yes, uncle, and
- 37:15Speaker 1: I just want to say them because it's how me
- 37:16Speaker 1: and Tommy field. This is way too much money for children.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Is this a good time to start putting charges on
- 37:22Speaker 1: your children? Like in court? Just say hey, he's seven peels.
- 37:26Speaker 1: I just wanted I know he's five, but he got
- 37:29Speaker 1: to be to get this number down. I'm gonna take hey, hey,
- 37:34Speaker 1: he he's sailed for El Choppo. Somebody needs to know
- 37:39Speaker 1: we're putting these numbers on these Is this a good idea?
- 37:43Speaker 1: Good idea because there's such young miners that then you're
- 37:48Speaker 1: going to be tied to these charges also, but the
- 37:54Speaker 1: number got to go down. The numbers not going the
- 37:57Speaker 1: number gonna go down when after the eight too much?
- 38:00Speaker 1: Is she getting to move? How much she's getting twenty
- 38:03Speaker 1: grand to move to? Excuse me? Can I ask my question?
- 38:08Speaker 1: So why does she have to move as the wife
- 38:10Speaker 1: with the kids, so obviously is he kicking her out
- 38:13Speaker 1: the house? You know what it's sing. No, it doesn't
- 38:17Speaker 1: say that he's kicking her out. Probably wants to get out.
- 38:20Speaker 1: She probably wants to get out of there being in
- 38:22Speaker 1: the house three or four houses. It's somewhere else and
- 38:27Speaker 1: you got to move from the big house over to
- 38:29Speaker 1: that house. Pop, okay, pod, shut up, June. But three
- 38:34Speaker 1: min three mini movers don't cause no twenty grand? You
- 38:38Speaker 1: people who make that kind of money, you yes, house,
- 38:46Speaker 1: Why you get about eight pickup trucks? You can get
- 38:50Speaker 1: this stuff across wherever. She don't know why understand he
- 38:55Speaker 1: was down there for cheating all that costs man us right,
- 39:02Speaker 1: judge Steve, thank you, y'all, honor you better better and

- 44:12Speaker 1: That's right coming up next. It is the nephew with
- 44:15Speaker 1: the frank phone call for today. Right after this, you're
- 44:18Speaker 1: listening to morning show coming up at about four minutes
- 44:24Speaker 1: after the hour. It's my Strawberry letter for today and
- 44:27Speaker 1: the subject is her special healing soup. Okay, oh yeah,
- 44:35Speaker 1: what is that? I mean Jesus in It's okay, I
- 44:41Speaker 1: know one thing is healing in it. We'll get into it.
- 44:46Speaker 1: We'll get into it in just a few but right
- 44:49Speaker 1: now it is time for the nephew and today's prank
- 44:52Speaker 1: phone call. What you got for us, nep few, Well,
- 44:56Speaker 1: we're gonna go down to the church, y'all. We're gonna
- 44:59Speaker 1: go down to the church with these church people. And
- 45:03Speaker 1: then the best one, sure they're the best cusses church folks,
- 45:07Speaker 1: is the best cusses They covered up because they didn't
- 45:11Speaker 1: they've been you know, they didn't. They didn't made it
- 45:14Speaker 1: over and they they they got a new life. But
- 45:17Speaker 1: but they ain't forgot. But they ain't forgot their old life.
- 45:20Speaker 1: And sometimes you can make them, you can make them
- 45:23Speaker 1: slide back to it. This right here. Now you've seen
- 45:26Speaker 1: the movie, but this is the prank. I'm gonna say
- 45:29Speaker 1: that one more time. I don't think y'all heard. Man,
- 45:33Speaker 1: you've seen the movie, but this is the prank. This
- 45:37Speaker 1: right here is called the Preacher's Wife. Oh preachers, why,
- 45:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna say go you see the movie, but this
- 45:48Speaker 1: is the prank that dog if you hood Hello, Hello,
- 45:53Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach in your sister Angela. Sister Angela, please,
- 45:58Speaker 1: how you doing? My name is brother Clay and I'm
- 46:00Speaker 1: calling you from our greatest Baptist church. How you doing
- 46:03Speaker 1: this morning? Oh? I'm fine, I'm fine. Good. Yeah, listen,
- 46:08Speaker 1: I know that your husband, Reverend Reverend Jonathan, is actually
- 46:13Speaker 1: one of the candidates that we may be choosing to
- 46:15Speaker 1: be our pastor since our past pastor has stepped down. Yes, yes, yes,
- 46:20Speaker 1: I'm very proud of my husband. I think you'll make
- 46:24Speaker 1: a very good candidate. As a matter of fact, here
- 46:26Speaker 1: at the church, we've been asking a lot of the
- 46:28Speaker 1: deacons and assistant ministers here have been asking different questions,
- 46:35Speaker 1: different things that they would be doing once they became pastor,
- 46:38Speaker 1: you know, like your first one hundred days, what would
- 46:40Speaker 1: you try and change here at the church or try
- 46:42Speaker 1: and make better? So to speak? Yet, but but what
- 46:45Speaker 1: my husband, he's not here right now that you need
- 46:47Speaker 1: to speak to her. No, not right now. What we
- 46:49Speaker 1: decided to do. Uh, Sis Angela is actually called the
- 46:54Speaker 1: wives and ask them a few questions. Oh okay, that's
- 46:58Speaker 1: a little different. Sure, and we don't we don't want
- 47:00Speaker 1: to take up too much of your time. You know
- 47:02Speaker 1: a lot of times. Uh, if a pastor is stressed
- 47:06Speaker 1: at home, nine times out of ten, he's likely to
- 47:09Speaker 1: be stressed at the church. So I guess, my, my,
- 47:13Speaker 1: My biggest question to you is is your husband stressed
- 47:18Speaker 1: at home? Uh? No, not that I know of. He
- 47:24Speaker 1: eats regularly, he's on a good diet. You know, he
- 47:26Speaker 1: gets goes to the doctor regularly. He gets his physical
- 47:30Speaker 1: um pretty good. At home. I don't have a reason
- 47:33Speaker 1: to believe that he's stressed. He certainly hasn't brought anything
- 47:36Speaker 1: to my attention. Okay, No, no, I don't. I don't.
- 47:38Speaker 1: I don't, I don't, I don't. I don't think you
- 47:41Speaker 1: follow me, s Suster Andrew. What I'm saying is he's
- 47:44Speaker 1: stressed behind closed doors? Is he stressed in that fashion? Um?
- 47:51Speaker 1: I'm not too sure I follow you. You say behind
- 47:53Speaker 1: closed doors? What exactly did you mean by that? Is
- 47:56Speaker 1: he is he's stressed in y'all's relations Is he stressed.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Are you asking me about my personal business? Brother? Well,
- 48:06Speaker 1: what I'm saying is if he's stressed at home, he'll
- 48:09Speaker 1: be stressed at the church. And if he's stressed at
- 48:11Speaker 1: the church, then the members are stressed. Then the congregation
- 48:15Speaker 1: is stressed. So the stress start with you. Excuse me.
- 48:20Speaker 1: If you are making sure that he's all right at home,
- 48:23Speaker 1: he's gonna be all right at the church. I'm sorry, brother.
- 48:26Speaker 1: What was your name? Brother Clayton, Brother Clayton. I appreciate
- 48:30Speaker 1: you conducting whatever interviews you guys need to conduct with
- 48:34Speaker 1: the candidates. Wise, I do think that's pretty much personal
- 48:38Speaker 1: territory and I really don't want to answer those kind
- 48:40Speaker 1: of questions. It's not personal since Angela when so many
- 48:44Speaker 1: other people involved. That's why I'm asking you the question,
- 48:48Speaker 1: is your man stressed behind? I could assure you, yes,
- 48:52Speaker 1: that my husband is not stressed at home. If I
- 48:55Speaker 1: get your drift, he is not stressed behind closed doors. Brother,
- 49:00Speaker 1: And I would appreciate you if you don't call. What
- 49:02Speaker 1: these kind of questions are you asking other candidates? Why
- 49:05Speaker 1: these kind of questions? Well, I was the one dedicated
- 49:09Speaker 1: to call to give you a call, and that's the
- 49:11Speaker 1: question that I decided to come up with because I
- 49:13Speaker 1: want to know if a man is gonna be stressed,
- 49:15Speaker 1: because if he's gonna have tension at the church, then
- 49:18Speaker 1: then the congregation is going to have tension. The church
- 49:20Speaker 1: is gonna have tension, and the church cannot move forward
- 49:23Speaker 1: in the direction overreating. My husband and I have been
- 49:26Speaker 1: married twenty to five years, and they've been twenty five
- 49:30Speaker 1: good years. If you get my drift, Okay, he is
- 49:33Speaker 1: not stressed at home, and whatever goes on at home,
- 49:36Speaker 1: my husband has sense enough not to take it to
- 49:37Speaker 1: the church. That is not something he's gonna do. So
- 49:40Speaker 1: you don't see about anybody else being stressed at the
- 49:43Speaker 1: congregation in the pulpit nowhere. Okay, we have together at home,
- 49:47Speaker 1: and I appreciate if you don't ask you those kind
- 49:49Speaker 1: of questions, but sometimes ask me, well, sometimes a woman
- 49:54Speaker 1: does not realize that a husband is stressed. You understand
- 49:57Speaker 1: that there's a possible way that you don't know that
- 50:00Speaker 1: he stressed. So how can you get Let me get
- 50:02Speaker 1: your phone. A matter of fact, let me get your
- 50:04Speaker 1: full name. What's your first name. Let's just go with
- 50:06Speaker 1: brother Clayton right now. Could you please answer this question
- 50:09Speaker 1: how can you guarantee that he is fully not stressed?
- 50:13Speaker 1: Brother Clayton? How calling the lord real quick? Hold on it,
- 50:18Speaker 1: Brother Clayton. I'm an honorable woman. I'm a woman who
- 50:22Speaker 1: stands by my man. Okay, but you are asking me
- 50:25Speaker 1: some questions that very personal, very private, very confidential. You
- 50:31Speaker 1: are asking me questions that that a question is the
- 50:33Speaker 1: safety of my marriage. Okay, my husband is not stressed.
- 50:38Speaker 1: And if I don't send him away from my home stressed, Okay,
- 50:45Speaker 1: how do you know? But what are you doing to
- 50:48Speaker 1: make sure that this less stress? Clayton, I'm about to
- 50:51Speaker 1: end this phone call. Okay. Now, if you know we're
- 50:54Speaker 1: not going to end this phone call, we know we
- 50:57Speaker 1: I need to know the Reverend Johnathan is not stressed
- 51:00Speaker 1: at home. They put they assigned me to talk to you,
- 51:03Speaker 1: and that's what I'm going to do, and I'm gonna leave.
- 51:06Speaker 1: He is not stressed. I don't know who told you
- 51:08Speaker 1: that the man is not stressed. If he had to
- 51:09Speaker 1: stress around you, I bet you. I bet you he
- 51:13Speaker 1: stress because you're stressed. Ain't me right now? Now? We're
- 51:16Speaker 1: both stressed out. How can we understand that that man
- 51:18Speaker 1: is not stressed? That's the end of this conversation. Do
- 51:21Speaker 1: you understand me? Give me your full name right now,
- 51:24Speaker 1: give me some intimate details, and then I'll give you
- 51:26Speaker 1: my number to cross the line. You wait till my
- 51:29Speaker 1: husband gets here. If this is gonna cost him a candacy,
- 51:31Speaker 1: does this so be it. We'll find another church. I'd
- 51:34Speaker 1: have some choice words for you right now, Brother Clayton.
- 51:38Speaker 1: I will give you my name right now. Do you
- 51:40Speaker 1: have a pen? Yes, I'm gonna write it right now.
- 51:42Speaker 1: The letter n N is in nancy E P. I
- 51:48Speaker 1: know how to spell n E P h e W.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Got a name? Is that? Nephew? Your name is nephew Clayton.
- 51:57Speaker 1: My name ain't nephew Clayton. My name is nephew Tommy.

- 52:11Speaker 1: is nephew Tommy. This is from the Steve Harvey Mourning's

- 52:33Speaker 1: I let him get me. You know pranks before? Oh
- 52:37Speaker 1: my god, Tommy, I will tell you if this was

- 54:14Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for you.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry Letter. Thank you nephew. Subject her
- 54:21Speaker 1: special healing Soup. Dear Stephen Shirley. I recently moved to
- 54:25Speaker 1: a small town and I got a great job making
- 54:28Speaker 1: great money. I'm thirty three and the woman I'm working with.
- 54:32Speaker 1: The women I'm working with are all in their late
- 54:34Speaker 1: forties and fifties. I'm respectful, but there's a sixty year
- 54:38Speaker 1: old woman that thinks she's in charge because she's the oldest.
- 54:42Speaker 1: She told me to call her Mama May, and she
- 54:44Speaker 1: was talking down to me a lot in the beginning.
- 54:48Speaker 1: The funny part is that I was hired as a
- 54:50Speaker 1: division director, so all of these women report to me.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Mama May ran the office before I was hired, so
- 54:57Speaker 1: she's in my way as I try to change the
- 55:00Speaker 1: culture of the office. She does little spiteful things and
- 55:04Speaker 1: then acts like she didn't mean any harm. But I'm
- 55:07Speaker 1: on to her. I need her to retire because she's
- 55:11Speaker 1: weird and she's dangerous. I was congested for three days,
- 55:15Speaker 1: so I left work early on a Friday to get
- 55:18Speaker 1: some rest. Saturday morning, May popped up at my house
- 55:22Speaker 1: with a big pot of orange liquid dripping everywhere. She
- 55:26Speaker 1: barged into my house and plopped the pot on my
- 55:29Speaker 1: stove and told me it was her special healing soup.
- 55:32Speaker 1: She told me to eat three bowls a day until
- 55:35Speaker 1: I felt better. The soup smelled awful, and she would
- 55:39Speaker 1: not tell me what was in it. She insisted that
- 55:42Speaker 1: I eat a bowl of it before she left. I
- 55:44Speaker 1: could basically drink the soup because everything in it was mushy.
- 55:49Speaker 1: I finished most of it and she finally left, so
- 55:52Speaker 1: I got back in the bed. I woke up an
- 55:55Speaker 1: hour later with the worst stomach pain I had ever had.
- 56:00Speaker 1: I was in the bathroom all day and night. My
- 56:03Speaker 1: nose and my colon were clear after eating May's special soup.
- 56:08Speaker 1: May still won't say what's in her special healing soup.
- 56:11Speaker 1: A few ladies in the office said they should have
- 56:14Speaker 1: warned me not to let May no I'm sick. Is
- 56:18Speaker 1: May a witch or something? What's in her healing soup? Well,
- 56:24Speaker 1: you know, I don't know about her being a witch
- 56:27Speaker 1: or anything like that. No one knows what's in her
- 56:30Speaker 1: healing soup because she doesn't tell it. But what I
- 56:32Speaker 1: have to ask is where do you live that someone
- 56:35Speaker 1: could just burst in your house like that? I mean,
- 56:37Speaker 1: was your door open? Was it unlocked? Does Mama may
- 56:40Speaker 1: have a key or something? Plus you already said you
- 56:43Speaker 1: need her to retire because she's weird and dangerous and
- 56:46Speaker 1: she does little spiteful things to you. But yet you
- 56:50Speaker 1: ate some nasty smelling soup that she brought over and
- 56:53Speaker 1: wouldn't say what was in it. Boy, did you take
- 56:56Speaker 1: a chance. You took a risk on that one, didn't you?
- 56:59Speaker 1: I mean, thank you're okay, you're alive after eating her soup,
- 57:02Speaker 1: But it could have turned out very ugly. Now, as
- 57:05Speaker 1: far as her being a witch, I mean, like I
- 57:07Speaker 1: said earlier, really is this a real question? Because who knows?
- 57:11Speaker 1: I mean, we do know she's not a snitch, because
- 57:13Speaker 1: you're still trying to get her to tell you what
- 57:16Speaker 1: her healing soup the ingredients to that was, and she
- 57:20Speaker 1: won't tell you that. But if it can cure congestion
- 57:23Speaker 1: and illnesses, I guess the world needs to know about it.
- 57:26Speaker 1: I just think you're lucky, you know, to still be
- 57:29Speaker 1: able to write us and tell us about this, because
- 57:32Speaker 1: I wouldn't have eaten the soup. I'll tell you that, Steve,
- 57:35Speaker 1: and I know you wouldn't have eaten it. All right,
- 57:39Speaker 1: Let's open up this letter the subject her special Healing
- 57:44Speaker 1: Soup with this statement you stupid. Let's just open with that.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Let's go on and this read just dumb mass let
- 57:54Speaker 1: them and trying to figure out what possessed you to
- 57:57Speaker 1: write this letter with all this information and then it
- 58:00Speaker 1: that you had thirty three have started to well, you're
- 58:03Speaker 1: in a position now to figure out of this stuff out.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Stephen Sherley, I recently moved to a small town. I
- 58:10Speaker 1: got a great job, making great money thirty three and
- 58:15Speaker 1: the women I'm working with are in the late forties
- 58:17Speaker 1: and fifties. I'm respectful. Here's a problem, though, I got
- 58:22Speaker 1: this one sixty year old woman that thinks she's in
- 58:24Speaker 1: charge because she's the oldest. She told me to call
- 58:29Speaker 1: her mama. Made all right, and she's been talking down
- 58:33Speaker 1: to you a lot in the beginning. The funny party
- 58:36Speaker 1: is you hit the part of about the letter you
- 58:39Speaker 1: are hired as a division leader, so all the women
- 58:43Speaker 1: report to you. Mama May ran the office before I
- 58:47Speaker 1: was hired, And your letter says, so she's in my way.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Let's stop right here. She's in your way of running
- 58:57Speaker 1: the office. You just said in the letter that she's
- 59:03Speaker 1: kind of like and you haven't said it yet in
- 59:06Speaker 1: the letter, but she's the oldest and she told you
- 59:10Speaker 1: to call her Mama May. And you said she was
- 59:14Speaker 1: talking down to you in the beginning. But you are
- 59:17Speaker 1: hired as division leader, so all these women report to me. Now,
- 59:22Speaker 1: you said, Mama May ran the office before I was hired,
- 59:26Speaker 1: so she's in my way. Well, seemed to me like
- 59:30Speaker 1: Mama May think you in her way. See, she ran
- 59:35Speaker 1: the office. You about your little young ass up in here.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Everybody got a report to you when she'd been having
- 59:41Speaker 1: everybody report to her. Let me ask you a question,
- 59:45Speaker 1: why is your position even open? They didn't just not
- 59:52Speaker 1: come up with that position. You're feeling a position? Why
- 59:56Speaker 1: is that position even open? It's called Mama Maiden got
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: rid of everybody. Don't say she might be a witch bad.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: It got rid of everybody's and you come talking about
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: she and your way. Oh ye see not your Luca.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Let's come back, but I think you already. No, all right,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: hang on. Coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Steve will be back with part two of his response
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: to today's Strawberry letter, the subjects her Special Healing Soup.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: to morning show, all right, Steve, come on, let's recap
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter, the subject her special Healing Soup. Got
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: this young girl thirty three years old and moved into
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: this small, lovely town, got this wonderful, high paying job.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: And the women that they work with, she works with it,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: and they lay for us in fifty She's respectful of them.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: But there's a sixty year old woman that thinks she's
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: in charge because she's the oldest. And she told you
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: to call her mama, mate, and she's been talking down
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: to you a lot in the beginning. And then you say,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: the funny thing is you was hired as a division leader,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: the division director, so all these women report to me.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Mama May ran the office before I was hired, so
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: she's in my way now. I pointed out a very
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: factual thought of mine. First of all, why is your
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: position open? How did your job become available? Anyway? And
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: then you thought these women reported you, But you just
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: said Mama May think she run everything. And then you said,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Mama May is in your way. Na, you're missing the
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: whole letter you wrote you and Mama mais wayne, Yeah,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: you win the waker some bris. And then you said, yeah,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: in your way because you're trying to change the culture
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: of the office. Now, this is a very important line
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: that follows. Next, she does little spiteful things and then
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: acts like she didn't mean any harm. Now, all of
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: a sudden, this half a shot up and yodough with
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: some damn suit. Oh you don't see it from why Oh,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: now you didn't put this into the game. Now you
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: know you. But now you say she do the spiteful things,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: act like she didn't mean no harm. But you own
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: to it, right, And now your next statement is I
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: need her to retire because she's weird and dangerous. Now
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: here comes a chance to get somebody out the way
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: because she in your way. But what you don't know
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: is you and little Mama made way. I got congestion
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: for three days, so I left work early on Friday
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: to go get some rest sadday morning, Mama made pops
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: up at the dough with a big pot of orange
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: liquid dripping everywhere. She barged into my house and plopped
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: the pot of my stove and told me it was
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: a special healing suit. You saying in your letter, let
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: me quote you. She does spiteful things and tries to
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: act like she didn't mean no harm. Well, you got
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: a big pot of spite sitting on your stove now,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: m because Mama made in your way. Yeah, you and
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Mama mayway. Mama madeen bought this pot of Mama making
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: to fit yours. She insisted that I eat a bowl
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: of it before she left. I could basically drink the
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: soup because everything and it was mushy. The reason it's
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: mushy because she overballed so you wouldn't be able to
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: recognize the incredients. I finished most of it and she
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: finally left, so I got back in bed. I woke
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: about an hour later in the worst stomach pain I
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: ever had. I was in the bathroom all day and night.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: My nose and colon would clear. And after eating May,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: after eating made special soup, May still won't say what's
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: in her special healing soup. A few the ladies in
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: office said they should have warned me not to let
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: make know I was sick. Is May a witch or something?
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: What is in her heelings? Man? Let me clear up something.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: How you think May got in charge at the office.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: I'm just most yeah, old mother maid and killed lost
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: some people, oh lord, and some people that went home
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: and they ever came back. See, everybody don't know that
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: she showed up at the doe with the healing suit.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: They just don't come back to work. You need to
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: do some research and find out how many of your
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: co workers are former workers at the office have been
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: found dead in their bed. Oh my gosh, I'm just
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: gonna put it out there. Anybody want to say, Mamma
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: May killing people? This is a lot of about potential.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: This is one you need to catch, you little ignorant
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: as kids on Facebook that do all these man shootings
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: and everything. See you ignore the signs, Uncle Steve, don't
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: ignore no signs. This is a Facebook post warning just
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: like ignorant people to be doing all the man a shootings.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Mama made is a killer Mama maid and kill some
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: people with folk and your answer you to ate them
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: three bowls like she told you your aunts wouldn't be
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: at work Monday morning. Problem solved? Now? Is Mama made? Really?
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: I don't think so. Did I use that as an
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: example to get your attention? Yes? I did? Why did
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: you drink the soup? I don't have no idea cause
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: you stupid? I have a rule, but I don't eat
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: from people I don't like. No, all right, Steve, Please

- 1:07:03Speaker 1: what I got? Sure that I know one thing I'm doing.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: February seventeenth through the nineteenth. I'm I'm at Uptown Coverted
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Corner Boy. I'm back out here in these streets. I
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: am free from doctor's orders. I'm back on this road
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: shows Too Friday, Too Sad, and too Jui. Ain't this
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: this is a This is a different spot, right They
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Uptown move, didn't it? Yeah? Man, the brand new one
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: doctor spot. Yeah, j you know what the find for Jia.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: You know, I'm being a fie. Man's gonna be clowning
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: doing what would do. But let's get into it. Man,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: did y'all did y'all see this story? Man? This is
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: so crazy. Former Texas running back Arian Foster made a
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: made He made just an allegation that NFL games are rigged.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: That's what he said. NFFL games was rigged because you
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: know all the controversies that have between the Chiefs and
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: the Bengals. At that last call, he said, oh no,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: they've been. He said, there were scripted games every week.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: They go through the script, they stick to the script,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: and this is what we do. And then he said
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: officials miss call's on purpose. They may call, but hold
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: on on this podcast one report of this say he said, well,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: in twenty sixteen, wasn't scripted when you stopped believing in
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: God and your career fell off? I said, man, pinpoint,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: that's somebody man. He said it scripted when you When
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: he said because the games he scored multiple touchdowns in,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: he said they were scripted for him. Aaron Foster to
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: say that brings up to the fact that that call
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: in that game with the Chiefs and the Bengals with
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Osaid hitting him. After that he went out to bound
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: praec mahon, he went out of bounds. Brought up the
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: question like, was it set up for the Chiefs to
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: go to the Super Bowl? Ain't scripted? How do you
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: know what the last twenty secs get out of here?
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: NFL playing say? Ain't that about his decision? Think about
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: that was not playing? That was not that. I mean,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: if that was that was scripted, then why did the
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Texans win the last game? Why would Aaron Foster say that? Yeah,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: I don't know why he would say that. Man, Okay,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: well a man. They say the Eagles got so many
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: fans now because Jenna, oh baby, Jayla Hurts is very handsome.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: You don't know a man is cute until a woman
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: saying that. I'm not I'm a married woman. I'm not
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: gonna say all that, but I'm just saying you ain't
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: gonna say that your girlfriend. You might say. Now back
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: in the day out of our business tripping by Jay Hurts,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Jay Hurts, he can get it. Oh, look at the time,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: look at a time coming up at the top of
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Morning Show. Well,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Keith Stonehouse of Michigan allowed his six year old son,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Mason to play on his phone before going to bed.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: A lot of parents do that. A little while later,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: he received an unexpected food delivery from grub Hub, then
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: another one, then another one. It was just a steady
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: flow of just shrimp and salads and sandwiches, chili, cheese, fries,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: and ice cream. All of this followed Mason ordered close
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: to get this number one thousand dollars worth of food.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Keith said he had a talk with his son Mason
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: to explain what he did and why it was wrong,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: and all Mason could say was, Dad, did the pepperoni
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: pizzas come yet? Little Mason was hungry. Mason's dad said
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: it will be a while before he gets his phone
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: privileges back. And so I have to ask Steve, what's
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: the craziest thing your child has done to you? And
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: did it involve money? No? I think first of all,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: what had needed to have the Mason is Mason has
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: just bought his lunch for the next two months. We're
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: friend to freeze all this grub hub stuff and thought
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: out your ass is taking it to school. I'm gonna
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: teach your answers six years old. Wild, No, you don't
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: know what Steve. I really I ain't really did nothing.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: My kids ain't there. You know. All I ever there.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: All they ever did was all the pizzas. And my
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: office was at the front of the house, so every
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: time the pizza delivered came to the door, I knew it,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: and they would try. What they would try to do
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: is go out to a side door and meet the
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: pizza guy in the front and then go back in
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: the side door and go upstairs and eat their pizza
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: because they know if they came past the office with it,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I wanted to slice. Oh okay, Oh, they didn't want
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: to give you. They didn't care if you knew it. Okay,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: got it. Yeah, but on the money, you know, operate
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: that's a toll feet slices. They'd be so mad. But
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: that was really it. I never really had my kids didn't.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: My kids were too scared, Junior. I know you have
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: the story. I know you with a pizza box. You
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: know my mom used to you know, she's a she's
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: to work nights and uh, she told me to go
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: on the pizza up. Well I did. I took the
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: whole box, put it in the oven, and when I
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: saw I started playing. When she opened that dough, so
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: much black smoke came up and all I heard was
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: killer water down the street. I knew. I said, damn
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: that pizza was in that. I knew it. I put
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: the box in there. I did not know that the
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: box could catch fire because its junior. I'm sorry, Yeah,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: you got she said, what he put the box in
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: the No way? She holl what killer one? That's his
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: middle name, Lawan. Yeah, yeah, Kilan. She said she was
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: killing one too, because I don't got killed for that. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: her box just on fire in the twelve stupid, She said,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: the box in the oven, But I didn't know it
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: even in the box. Put it in the box. I thought,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: that's how you want. That's pretty stupid. Yeah, I lost
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: my life for that because that would have been That's
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: just I don't even know how. You can't do the
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: math on this better? Well, you know, she looked at me,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: and she knew that. She said, you know, you really
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: can't be mine. It had to be a mix up
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: at the hospital. I love your family Junior love him,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: kill la Wayne. That's kind I kill kill me. I
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: knew it. I was playing football hard as hell. Two long.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: I was out there killing him. I got the three touchdown,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: but I had to go in that house and take
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: that aunt for before. All right, kier l One coming
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're

- 1:20:52Speaker 1: it's this one. Would you rather sit next to your
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: wife at dinner or would you rather sit across from
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: your wife at dinner? Which one next to or across
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: from I'm ques let Junior asked for Yeah, I would
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: say I would say next two. That happened. That's a
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: newly way, it asked me. Yeah, when you sit next
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: tour her for coming over in your plate. Now you
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: know that. But you get this. I'm gonna get that.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: And we have tasty table. You're gonna get that. When
