- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you'll think that, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 8: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 8: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well,
- 2:12Speaker 8: nothing changes about that. Nothing changes about that.
- 2:17Speaker 6: Man.
- 2:17Speaker 8: I was just getting ready to come on the air
- 2:21Speaker 8: this morning. I was just thinking, man, I was just
- 2:26Speaker 8: having a reflective moment of just how really good God
- 2:30Speaker 8: has been to me. I just it's it's it's man.
- 2:36Speaker 8: Let me just say that again, how really good God
- 2:39Speaker 8: has been to me. And here's a cold part. In
- 2:44Speaker 8: spite of myself, you understand, in spite of all my shortcomings,
- 2:50Speaker 8: in spite of all of my flaws.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And and and and in.
- 2:55Speaker 8: Spite of all of what anybody has said about me, God, God,
- 3:00Speaker 8: through his grace and mercy, just keeps me anyway. So
- 3:04Speaker 8: many of us are exceptional people, but we refuse to
- 3:13Speaker 8: just go ahead and be exceptional. We settle for the ordinary,
- 3:19Speaker 8: We follow the pack, We try.
- 3:22Speaker 2: To fit in.
- 3:24Speaker 8: Man, oh man, oh man, You know, I've heard my
- 3:26Speaker 8: wife say this to my children all the time. When
- 3:30Speaker 8: she's scolding him or talking to him. She'd be talking
- 3:32Speaker 8: to him about leadership. You know, why are you following
- 3:35Speaker 8: everybody when God clearly made you to lead? So many
- 3:39Speaker 8: of us are born, and so many of you are
- 3:41Speaker 8: born to be exceptional people, but we always trying to
- 3:46Speaker 8: follow the pack. Why would you try to fit in?
- 3:50Speaker 8: Why would you try to be like everybody else be ordinary?
- 3:57Speaker 8: Why would you follow the pack? When God is created
- 4:00Speaker 8: you to be exceptional? The key word in exceptional is
- 4:05Speaker 8: except you. Ever you ever dine this right here? You know,
- 4:08Speaker 8: everybody did that accept me. Everybody felt that way except me.
- 4:16Speaker 8: Everybody said that except me. Everybody won't wanted that accept me.
- 4:23Speaker 8: Everybody went over there except me. Everybody jumped in except.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Me except me. See why have you said that in
- 4:33Speaker 2: your life? If you were not to be exceptional?
- 4:37Speaker 8: See you got to say everybody except me at one
- 4:40Speaker 8: point in yo to I don't know who ain't done it?
- 4:43Speaker 8: You know, everybody wanted. Everybody voted no except me. See,
- 4:48Speaker 8: so you're not You're not created to follow the pack.
- 4:52Speaker 8: You ain't created to fit in. You ain't created to, uh,
- 4:56Speaker 8: you know, to be ordinary. You were created to be exceptional,
- 5:00Speaker 8: as exceptional as your fingerprint on your finger is. You
- 5:04Speaker 8: were created to be exceptional. Why not make this the
- 5:08Speaker 8: year that you go head on and be exceptional? Why
- 5:13Speaker 8: won't this be the year that you decide in your mind?
- 5:16Speaker 8: But just has to be a decision that we make. Now,
- 5:19Speaker 8: were not following the pack no more? We not trying
- 5:22Speaker 8: to fit in no more. We ain't settling for ordinary
- 5:26Speaker 8: no more. We're gonna be exceptional. But you know you
- 5:29Speaker 8: got to go ahead and follow that. You got to
- 5:32Speaker 8: get on the exceptional path because that's what you were
- 5:34Speaker 8: created for. Why be ordinary?
- 5:37Speaker 6: You know?
- 5:37Speaker 8: But all of this it comes. It has to start
- 5:40Speaker 8: with a thought. You got to first think something. Thoughts
- 5:46Speaker 8: become things. A man is as he thinketh that's all
- 5:51Speaker 8: you will ever be. So what are your thoughts today?
- 5:54Speaker 8: Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of ordinary thoughts? Why
- 5:58Speaker 8: not have exceptional thoughts instead of fitting me in thoughts?
- 6:02Speaker 2: So why you want to be like everybody? Else.
- 6:04Speaker 8: Why you want to be ordinary when you could possibly
- 6:07Speaker 8: be extraordinary with a change of your mind, a change
- 6:11Speaker 8: of your venue, And you don't have to be any
- 6:14Speaker 8: other kind of way just because my mama was this, well,
- 6:17Speaker 8: my daddy was this way, or this the school I
- 6:19Speaker 8: went to?
- 6:20Speaker 6: This?
- 6:20Speaker 8: What race I belong to? This is my sexual preference,
- 6:24Speaker 8: this is my this, this is my dad?
- 6:26Speaker 2: How many? How many? How many excuses? You need? I mean,
- 6:29Speaker 2: how many excuse?
- 6:30Speaker 6: What?
- 6:30Speaker 2: What? What? What?
- 6:31Speaker 8: What's it gonna be this year that we let another
- 6:34Speaker 8: three hundred and sixty five days slip by without improving
- 6:38Speaker 8: our condition, our place, our spot, our life, the quality
- 6:44Speaker 8: of life we have. We cannot afford to keep letting
- 6:49Speaker 8: all these years go by without changing.
- 6:53Speaker 2: You're an exceptional person. How many times.
- 6:56Speaker 8: Have you set up and said, everybody did that accept me?
- 7:01Speaker 8: You know I was only everybody jumped in except me.
- 7:05Speaker 8: I told him, I knew it. Everybody voted for that
- 7:08Speaker 8: except me, And now look at us, man, it seemed
- 7:12Speaker 8: like everybody went that way except me. Okay, do you
- 7:17Speaker 8: get it? Do you understand what's being said to you
- 7:22Speaker 8: that all accept me is because couldn't it be? Because
- 7:26Speaker 8: you're an exceptional person? And it's time for you to
- 7:29Speaker 8: take control of that. It's time for you to start
- 7:32Speaker 8: thinking different. It's time for you to start acting on.
- 7:34Speaker 2: What you think.
- 7:35Speaker 8: It's time for you to start doing something about it.
- 7:38Speaker 8: It's time for you to stop taking each and every
- 7:40Speaker 8: day that God gives us for granted and letting them
- 7:43Speaker 8: go by the wayside.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Like you got plenty more.
- 7:46Speaker 8: Well, you may have plenty more, but guess what what
- 7:49Speaker 8: you wasting the ones you got for?
- 7:52Speaker 2: I got you.
- 7:53Speaker 8: Young, and you feel like you're gonna live forever. Em okay, cool,
- 7:57Speaker 8: But let me ask you something. See here, here, here
- 8:00Speaker 8: go the part about it. I suppose you do live.
- 8:03Speaker 8: See see, everybody worrying about dying. But I got news
- 8:05Speaker 8: for you. Suppose you keep on living. You want to
- 8:08Speaker 8: keep living in the condition you in now. You want
- 8:11Speaker 8: to keep living with the money you got now. You
- 8:13Speaker 8: want to keep living with the relationship you got now.
- 8:16Speaker 8: You want to keep living by yourself like you are now.
- 8:19Speaker 8: You want to keep wanting the right relationship, the right
- 8:21Speaker 8: man to the right woman, but you keep getting the
- 8:23Speaker 8: wrong one. You want to keep doing that for the
- 8:26Speaker 8: rest of your life. Problem ain't dying. There's problem is
- 8:28Speaker 8: if you keep on living. Who wants to keep on
- 8:31Speaker 8: living just the way they are right now? And if
- 8:35Speaker 8: you could say I'm cool, what I am just the
- 8:36Speaker 8: way I am right now? In cool, this conversation ain't
- 8:39Speaker 8: for you. Ain't got no problem with that, you know,
- 8:42Speaker 8: you know what I say. Greatness ain't for everybody. Being exceptional,
- 8:47Speaker 8: ain't for everybody. Becoming extraordinary ain't for everybody. Heck, becoming
- 8:51Speaker 8: successful ain't for everybody. I got it. And you can
- 8:56Speaker 8: come up with a way to justify your non existence
- 8:58Speaker 8: and your ordinary life all you want, and that's fine
- 9:01Speaker 8: and dandy. I ain't got no problem with it. Because
- 9:04Speaker 8: some people just gonna be regular, Some people just gonna
- 9:07Speaker 8: follow the pack, follow the crowd. Some people just wants
- 9:11Speaker 8: to fit in. But if you're not that person, if
- 9:14Speaker 8: you want to be extraordinary, if you want to be exceptional,
- 9:18Speaker 8: if you want to be if you want a dad
- 9:20Speaker 8: to be great at something, and you got to change
- 9:22Speaker 8: your mindset. You got to get what your creator and
- 9:25Speaker 8: find out what he created you for. You got to
- 9:27Speaker 8: quit thinking of things just in your own thought process,
- 9:31Speaker 8: you know, lean not to your own understanding.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I don't know where that is, but it's in there.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Somewhere seeing.
- 9:36Speaker 8: Once you lean, if you lean to your own understanding,
- 9:39Speaker 8: you know what it's gonna do. It's gonna limit you. Man,
- 9:42Speaker 8: it's gonna limit you. Why not see what God got
- 9:45Speaker 8: for you. I would rather know what God got for
- 9:48Speaker 8: me than to think of all the things I could
- 9:50Speaker 8: because I can't out think him out and tried it before.
- 9:53Speaker 2: All right, it's just the beginning. We're gonna have a
- 9:55Speaker 2: good one.
- 9:56Speaker 6: Man.

- 10:25Speaker 8: playing with y'all. Y'all need to get your mind right, man,
- 10:28Speaker 8: wrap your mind around this thing. Man, stop looking at
- 10:31Speaker 8: what's wrong and start taking some focus on what's right.
- 10:34Speaker 8: Because there are some things that's right that's going on
- 10:36Speaker 8: in your life. I don't care how bad it appears.
- 10:39Speaker 8: You better believe there's something right going on in your life.

- 10:53Speaker 8: I know. These ain't no guessing, I ain't throwing out
- 10:55Speaker 8: no new theories or nothing like this. I'm telling you
- 10:58Speaker 8: what I know, man, about the power of positive thinking,
- 11:03Speaker 8: the power of meditation, and the power of prayer. Ain't
- 11:07Speaker 8: nothing bigger, ain't nothing bigger. Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley

- 12:49Speaker 8: the album. Yeah, I remember I used to stand in
- 12:53Speaker 8: that mirror. Man, my father would go to work. I
- 12:57Speaker 8: was standing in that mirror and sing that song and
- 12:59Speaker 8: that the line ten thousand people watching, come on boy
- 13:05Speaker 8: all alone, Yeah, And I was. I was actually singing
- 13:11Speaker 8: affirmation into my life. I just always thought somebody would

- 13:18Speaker 8: with the stutter. I said, they're gonna have to be
- 13:20Speaker 8: here for a while. But you know the stuttering. If

- 17:44Speaker 11: Okay, well taken care of. If you played out your pocket,
- 17:47Speaker 11: that means the bill is.

- 18:34Speaker 11: Don't be calling me with this dumb you know what.

- 18:46Speaker 11: gonna call Mama Dean, and I'm gonna see if anybody
- 18:49Speaker 11: else got sick, which I know they didn't because your
- 18:51Speaker 11: ass is fullish. So I'm gonna call her see if
- 18:54Speaker 11: anybody got sick. How about we do it that way.
- 18:56Speaker 11: And also I'm gonna call your mother. Okay, I'm gonna
- 18:59Speaker 11: call this foos and see why her dad son is

- 24:23Speaker 9: Moving on to Anonymous in Philly, Anonymous rites, I'm in
- 24:26Speaker 9: a long distance relationship with my girl. Uh and my
- 24:30Speaker 9: girl visits me often besides because she flies free. She
- 24:34Speaker 9: popped up on me this past weekend and I wasn't home.
- 24:37Speaker 9: She didn't call me or say a word, but she
- 24:40Speaker 9: was sitting in my bed when I got home the
- 24:42Speaker 9: next morning around seven a m. I told her I
- 24:46Speaker 9: passed out drunk at my friend's house, but I had
- 24:51Speaker 9: on short simphlip flops and it was snowing here. She's
- 24:55Speaker 9: not trying to hear my excuses. How do I get
- 24:58Speaker 9: out of this one?
- 25:00Speaker 2: Interesting? Hey, dog, let me ask you a questions.
- 25:03Speaker 8: When you came in the house, it's seven am, with
- 25:06Speaker 8: them shots and them flip flops?
- 25:13Speaker 2: Where you coming from?
- 25:17Speaker 8: All I could say is now, when you said you
- 25:21Speaker 8: passed out at a friend's house, do you live in
- 25:25Speaker 8: an apartment?
- 25:26Speaker 2: Get you downstairs? Upstairs? Where was you at with these
- 25:31Speaker 2: shots and these flip flops? Over? Because that sounded like
- 25:35Speaker 2: walking this one? Well, hear what you do?
- 25:45Speaker 9: I want to hear it.
- 25:46Speaker 8: When you get in a situation like this, dog, listen
- 25:48Speaker 8: to me, the best defense is a good offense. Yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 8: bigger question has to be why is you in here
- 25:59Speaker 8: in my bed?
- 26:00Speaker 2: Seven eight?
- 26:01Speaker 6: Yes?
- 26:01Speaker 8: Flip this thing and you got to make that the issue?
- 26:06Speaker 1: Yes, Like, give us some example. He wrote to you.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Like right now. This is days later. So what you
- 26:12Speaker 2: got to do is this right here?
- 26:13Speaker 8: And you know what, I've been thinking about this, and
- 26:17Speaker 8: you know what, for a person to constantly disrespect my
- 26:22Speaker 8: wishes and just pop in on me without telling me,
- 26:25Speaker 8: I just that that ain't what I'm really looking for,
- 26:28Speaker 8: because it just makes me think that there's some trust
- 26:32Speaker 8: is trust issues that you're having and the fact that
- 26:35Speaker 8: I can't come and go freely without having to feel
- 26:38Speaker 8: like I constantly be in checked. That's really not the
- 26:41Speaker 8: type of relationship I would look at. So I want
- 26:44Speaker 8: to just step back from this for a little bit.
- 26:46Speaker 8: Come on board, and you decide do it. You know
- 26:49Speaker 8: how you want to move forward in our relationship in
- 26:52Speaker 8: terms of trust because I trust you. You come into
- 26:56Speaker 8: my place and I trust you. But this type of
- 26:59Speaker 8: thing right here just weeks of distrust for me and
- 27:03Speaker 8: I've done nothing, nothing to deserve this type come off trump.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Well, yeah, didn't you write the right person?
- 27:12Speaker 3: You better here?
- 27:14Speaker 2: If she come on cloth make me proud.
- 27:18Speaker 15: No, that's I'm sorry, Automatic, I'm so sorry.
- 27:23Speaker 9: That you got to get this off from That's why
- 27:27Speaker 9: I came and should get.
- 27:30Speaker 8: A key, And that's because I trust.
- 27:33Speaker 2: You, but you're using it to surprise.
- 27:36Speaker 8: Me, and now all of a sudden, it's a lack
- 27:39Speaker 8: of trust. And the person that I chose the ultimate
- 27:43Speaker 8: display of trust there by giving you a key.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Now you popping up without saying, that's unbelievable to me.
- 27:49Speaker 2: I can't. I just can't see myself you disgusted? How
- 27:52Speaker 2: do you walk out the room and you broke up
- 27:54Speaker 2: with her? Didn't you crying? Don't you my eyes?
- 28:00Speaker 8: Yes?
- 28:01Speaker 9: Oh yeah, yeah, emotions.
- 28:07Speaker 1: You got a hand on your face.
- 28:11Speaker 3: That's a walkout, all right?
- 28:14Speaker 9: Okay, well, anonymous, you wrote to the right person. Take
- 28:17Speaker 9: that and run with it, all right. Moving on to

- 28:32Speaker 9: has friends over gets awkward though, if I have company
- 28:35Speaker 9: and he wants to stick around and watch us being intimate.
- 28:38Speaker 9: I never do that to him, So why is he
- 28:41Speaker 9: being like this all of a sudden?
- 28:42Speaker 1: Is this jealousy?
- 28:44Speaker 2: Or what what do you have? Y'all?
- 28:48Speaker 8: Ain't got nothing. He don't want you. You in an

- 55:16Speaker 8: because if you look, I've done taken on a more
- 55:18Speaker 8: monochromatic look, and that's what a lot of the guys
- 55:21Speaker 8: were asking for, so that's what I made. I don't
- 55:24Speaker 8: expect your old ass to change. Some old people just
- 55:28Speaker 8: never change, just stay the same. You probably had the
- 55:31Speaker 8: same hairstyle since nineteen eighty five. I ain't changed that either,
- 55:35Speaker 8: But I don't give a damn. If you don't like
- 55:37Speaker 8: the new suits, don't buy. They ain't for everybody and
- 55:41Speaker 8: not for sale for you to go find them old suits.
- 55:43Speaker 8: I used to sail with the vent in the back.
- 55:45Speaker 8: God see see who got one of them.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Up right after you.
- 55:52Speaker 9: It is time now for today's Strawberry Letter and listen.

- 56:06Speaker 2: We could be.
- 56:06Speaker 9: Reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
- 56:10Speaker 9: going to read this one right here, right now, and
- 56:13Speaker 9: you never know, it could be yours.
- 56:15Speaker 2: You never know. Buckle up and hold on tight. We
- 56:17Speaker 2: got it for you.
- 56:18Speaker 12: Here.
- 56:18Speaker 2: It is Strawberry letter.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Thank you, not for your subject.
- 56:22Speaker 9: He has to step away to take calls. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:27Speaker 9: I'm a thirty six year old married woman and my
- 56:30Speaker 9: husband is thirty three. We've been married for almost eight years,
- 56:34Speaker 9: and he has told me that he regrets getting married
- 56:36Speaker 9: so young. I asked him if he needed a break
- 56:39Speaker 9: from the marriage, and he said no. He told me
- 56:42Speaker 9: we could find ways to make our marriage work. So
- 56:45Speaker 9: we planned a trip back to our hometown and it
- 56:48Speaker 9: didn't work out as planned. We went for Thanksgiving and
- 56:52Speaker 9: there was a big game in town, so we barely
- 56:55Speaker 9: saw each other. I was busy with my parents and
- 56:58Speaker 9: he was out late every night. He came into my
- 57:00Speaker 9: parents home late and I noticed on the third night
- 57:03Speaker 9: that his cell phone was off while he slept. I
- 57:07Speaker 9: asked him about it the next morning and he said
- 57:09Speaker 9: it must have died, but it wasn't dead. Because I
- 57:13Speaker 9: turned it on and back off that same night. After
- 57:16Speaker 9: we spent the time in our hometown, his attitude changed.
- 57:20Speaker 9: He started posting more pictures on Instagram, and he was
- 57:24Speaker 9: constantly on his phone scrolling through social media posts. He
- 57:28Speaker 9: also started to get phone calls late in the evening,
- 57:32Speaker 9: and he would ignore them. I would check the phone
- 57:34Speaker 9: when he wasn't around, and I could see that he'd
- 57:37Speaker 9: always delete the incoming call log. Then, over the holidays,
- 57:41Speaker 9: a few calls came in and he had to step
- 57:44Speaker 9: away to take them. It happened when we had company
- 57:47Speaker 9: or we were out, so I couldn't question him or
- 57:50Speaker 9: cause a scene. On New Year's Eve, we decided to
- 57:53Speaker 9: stay in and have champagne at home. He was distant
- 57:57Speaker 9: and he played with his phone all night. At the
- 58:00Speaker 9: stroke of midnight, his phone rang and he stepped outside
- 58:06Speaker 9: to take the call. He told me he was going
- 58:08Speaker 9: to see the firewalk. Should I have confronted him at
- 58:12Speaker 9: that moment and ruined the beginning of a new year?
- 58:15Speaker 9: What's my husband up to?
- 58:17Speaker 6: All?
- 58:17Speaker 2: Right? Sis?
- 58:19Speaker 3: This is bad?
- 58:20Speaker 1: This is really bad.
- 58:21Speaker 9: He's really doing too much with all of this, And yes,
- 58:24Speaker 9: you should have confronted him at that moment who says
- 58:27Speaker 9: it would have ruined the beginning of a new year.
- 58:30Speaker 9: He's getting phone calls all night, walking away from you
- 58:32Speaker 9: to talk. It's like he hasn't even told whoever it is,
- 58:37Speaker 9: that he's got a wife. You asked Steve and I
- 58:39Speaker 9: what is your husband up to? Well, what do you
- 58:42Speaker 9: think he's up to? I mean, what do you think
- 58:44Speaker 9: he's doing. I think he's disrespecting you right in your face.
- 58:47Speaker 9: I mean, you have to say something right then and
- 58:49Speaker 9: there when it's happening. He gets called out where the
- 58:53Speaker 9: stuff happens, you know, that's when he gets called out
- 58:56Speaker 9: where he's doing it.
- 58:57Speaker 1: That's it, period. I get that you don't want to
- 59:00Speaker 1: cause a scene.
- 59:01Speaker 9: You don't want to let people in your business and
- 59:03Speaker 9: all that, But when he's already doing that, he is,
- 59:07Speaker 9: he's already doing that when he steps away to take
- 59:09Speaker 9: a call. What do you think they're thinking when he
- 59:11Speaker 9: does that? The only thing he's trying to hide is
- 59:15Speaker 9: who it is. He's definitely not trying to hide the
- 59:17Speaker 9: fact that there's someone else he's talking to.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Doesn't he get that this is wrong? Doesn't he understand that?
- 59:24Speaker 9: Is that what he meant when he said he could
- 59:27Speaker 9: find ways to make the marriage work, or you guys
- 59:29Speaker 9: can find ways to make the marriage work. It sounds
- 59:32Speaker 9: like he thinks you're stupid because you even asked him
- 59:35Speaker 9: before all of this, did he need a break from
- 59:38Speaker 9: the marriage whatever that means, and.
- 59:41Speaker 1: He said no.
- 59:42Speaker 9: I just think you know, as you can see these
- 59:44Speaker 9: calls and your man or just out of control. You're
- 59:47Speaker 9: letting him do whatever he wants to do, and you're
- 59:50Speaker 9: not saying anything. I mean, I think it's way past
- 59:53Speaker 9: time for you to let him have it. You need
- 59:55Speaker 9: to shut it down.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Start with this. You got a car, I'm sure you
- 59:59Speaker 1: have a car.
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: Well, accidentally on purpose, run over his phone with your
- 1:00:04Speaker 9: car today, okay? And then when he asks you about it,
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: what he does, Just get a phone call. Just get
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: them You heard me, You heard me run over his
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: phone with the car, all right?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Walk away? Do what he does when he gets a
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: phone call when he asks you, Just walk away, Steve.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Let me just address this last comment that crazy made
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: in the new year. Just his phone and.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Who call you calling me crazy?
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: Take kills men?
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Run over run over it with your car.
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: Yes, yes, if you got to run over your man's
- 1:00:39Speaker 8: phone with a car. The problem ain't the phone. Now,
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: let's go to the letter. He has to step away
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: to take calls. Now, this thirty six year old woman.
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: He's married to a thirty three year old man and
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: they've been married about eight years.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: He made the announcement that he regrets getting married so young.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Did the math. He's gotten married at twenty five, that
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: is young. He has regretted it.
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: He didn't get the full OAHs, so in season in
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: he didn't get a lot of stuff out of his system.
- 1:01:13Speaker 8: He didn't get rid of the things he needed to
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: get rid of before he got married. So when he
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: got married, he did like a minister taught me. He
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: found out that the only thing changes the day after
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: you get married is the appearance of your left hand
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: third finger. I asked him if he needed a break
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: from the marriage. He said no, that's because most men
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: don't want to say let's take a break from the marriage,
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: or don't want to get a divorce or admit to defeat.
- 1:01:44Speaker 8: We just find ways around it, he said. He told
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: me he could find ways to make our marriage work.
- 1:01:53Speaker 8: That is the key to this whole letter. Because you
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: should have asked what all did he mean? You should
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: have had a thorough discussion about you gonna find ways
- 1:02:04Speaker 8: to make our marriage work. What you thought he said
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: was he was gonna work on the marriage. Oh, you
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: interpret it as he said he's gonna work on the marriage.
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: You didn't explore fine ways to make our marriage work,
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: even though I regret doing it so long.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: When I come back, I'll explain the rest of him.
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: Hold, I thought Steve coming up. We'll have part two
- 1:02:31Speaker 9: of Steve's response too. He has to step away to
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: take phone calls. That is the subject of today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:02:39Speaker 9: We'll get back into it at twenty three minutes after
- 1:02:41Speaker 9: the hour right after this.
- 1:02:45Speaker 16: Hey, it's Carla Farroll. Kick that old mop and bucket aside.
- 1:02:49Speaker 16: Are you ready for a mop and bucket clean and
- 1:02:52Speaker 16: half the time? Make the swap to Swifter Power Mop

- 1:03:16Speaker 9: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: The subject is he has to step away to take calls.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he do.
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: The reason he has to step away is because is
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: no way you need to hear these phone calls. Let's
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: just get with the obvious. Now, you can't get a
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: man at least some credit. At least he's stepping away.
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: It's time to be bruh, because let me tell you something.
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: If he don't step away, huh. He just told you
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: in the letter he was gonna find ways to make
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: the marriage work. Well, the way he found you don't
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: need to hear this. Now he got him married at
- 1:03:59Speaker 8: twenty five.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Like my answer, well see, but not see.
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: You don't like mine because my answer to truth. Your
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: answer was filled with speculation.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: Running over phones and stuff. You pull the man phone
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: out and try to run over it with the car. Yeah,
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: that's them an ass ass late response.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Yeah, but you guys know how you are about your phone.
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: But let's get to the call of what's wrong. The
- 1:04:24Speaker 8: problem ain't the phone. He get a new phone, see
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: him called all his stuff in the clouds. He can
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: do all Yeah, he can get a new phone by
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: this evening. See now, because you acting funky, running over cars.
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: He gonna fix your ass because he gonna not he
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: gonna get track phone. See, he gonna buy a phone
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: at Walmart and put some minutes on it, and you
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: run over all these you want to.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: That's for starters.
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: See that's so let's just understand that y'all ain't doing
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: nothing with this phone, and you're gonna mess around. Ain't
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: gonna see what track phone do. Ain't no clouds for that,
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: ain't no tracking now. So thirty six year old woman
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: married this boy that was twenty five. He told her
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: one day he regrets getting married so young. I asked
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: him if he needed a break from the marriage. He
- 1:05:11Speaker 8: said no, he told me find ways to make our
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: marriage work. What you should have did, like I told you,
- 1:05:16Speaker 8: was talk to him about what all he meant by that,
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: because what he meant by that, you thought he meant
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: he was gonna work on the marriage. No, he gonna
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: find some ways to make the marriage work for him.
- 1:05:29Speaker 8: So we planned the trip back to our hometown. Oh,
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: you thought that was it, you thought of y'all went
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: back to the hometown. That was gonna fix it.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: And then she said right away it didn't work out.
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: His plan, because if that wasn't his plan, see, that
- 1:05:45Speaker 8: was y'all's plan. You said, let's go back to where
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: had all started, Well, where it all started. He was
- 1:05:54Speaker 8: twenty four.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Where had all started? He was so and oaks.
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: So you went to Thanksgiving and that was a big
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: game in town. We badly saw each other. I was
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: busy with my parents. He was laid out every night.
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: He came into my parents home late, and I noticed
- 1:06:10Speaker 8: the third night that his cell phone was off while
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: he slept. I asked him about it the next morning.
- 1:06:18Speaker 8: He said it must have died, or he could have
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: used another excuse and says, I turned my phone off
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: to give it some rest. Because you turned this phone
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: off at night so it could recharge itself. It all
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: break every now and then you know you have to
- 1:06:38Speaker 8: cut your phone off and cut it back off again,
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: cut it off and just let it needed a break
- 1:06:44Speaker 8: because I needed to reset it. So anyway, but it
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: wasn't dead because I turned it back on and off
- 1:06:52Speaker 8: the same night. That's why you use the other live
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: fellas go with it. I turned it off to reset it.
- 1:06:59Speaker 8: After we spent time in our hometown, his attitude change.
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: He started posting more pictures on Instagram. He was constantly
- 1:07:06Speaker 8: on his phone, scrolling through social media post Then he
- 1:07:11Speaker 8: started to get phone calls late in the evening. He
- 1:07:13Speaker 8: would ignore them, but I would check the phone when
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: he was around. I could see that he'd always delete
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: the incoming call.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: Law my dog, your dog.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Well he do it all the right things to work
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: on his marriage, to save his marriage. No, listen to me.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: I want you all to hear me so you learn
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: how to question your man.
- 1:07:39Speaker 8: When he said he was gonna find ways to make
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: our marriage work, you should have asked him exactly what
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: he meant by that, because it damn show wasn't a
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: trip back to the hometown.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: That was part of it. But who was at the
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: hometown at the game is what you didn't know. M That's.
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: So now he call losts. You can't track no calls.
- 1:08:03Speaker 8: He ain't got no names listening. Then over the holidays,
- 1:08:07Speaker 8: a few calls came in and he had to step
- 1:08:09Speaker 8: away to take them. And it happened we had company
- 1:08:12Speaker 8: or when we were out, so I couldn't question him
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: or cause of sin. Well that's where being a little
- 1:08:21Speaker 8: bit polite, because most women I know would have opened
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: up with where you're going. Yeah, yeah, I get well.
- 1:08:31Speaker 8: I will all be outside taking calls. She'll walk out
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: there with you and listen. So I don't know how.
- 1:08:39Speaker 8: On New Year's Eve we decided to stay in and
- 1:08:41Speaker 8: have shamp champagne. He was distant. He played with his
- 1:08:44Speaker 8: phone all night. A stroke of midnight, his phone ring
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: and he stepped outside to take the call. He You
- 1:08:49Speaker 8: don't need to hear him wishing her happiness.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: I love you, I miss you.
- 1:08:58Speaker 8: Happy new You'll wish you hear all that he working
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: on staying with you, and this is the only way
- 1:09:03Speaker 8: he can do it.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Don't you understand?
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: You should have asked him what I meant when he
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: said I'm gonna work on making this work, because he's
- 1:09:13Speaker 8: doing some shit.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: I have confronted him at that moment of the New Year. Yes,
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: you should have. What's my husband up to? You're stupid
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: for asking the question.

- 1:10:13Speaker 9: If one of your relatives were going to write just
- 1:10:16Speaker 9: like a trashy tell all novel about you, about your family,
- 1:10:21Speaker 9: what would they write about you?
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: What would they say?
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: Go ahead, fellah would yeah.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Come on, Junior, I know your family, Tommy, what you got?
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: I know you guys. Oh that's that's telling on myself.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: That's that bad, right, we gotta read these bussy.
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: I just I say I could do it with my
- 1:10:49Speaker 8: siblings because you got to remember my youngest brother, he's
- 1:10:52Speaker 8: eleven years older than me. Oh right, yeah, and when
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: we was growing up close, we ain't had no m hm.
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: They ain't gonna tell the damn thing.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: Why why not?
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: Because I'm paying them.
- 1:11:06Speaker 8: Yeah, so my book would be all about my past.
- 1:11:13Speaker 8: He didn't have nothing, Okay, he stole.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: He stopped saying that.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Miss Paye's house crossed the street. He broke in Jackson's
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: window and said he didn't do it all that.
- 1:11:34Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: He came home every day with a bag of potato
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: chips in the pot and he ate where he gets
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: this money from.
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: He stole chips.

- 1:12:12Speaker 14: You're jealous all the way.
- 1:12:15Speaker 15: All of a sudden, all my toys, yeah, I couldn't
- 1:12:19Speaker 15: stand as four. All my toy used to be everywhere,
- 1:12:21Speaker 15: my fifth Christmas chain, just your stuff in the corner.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: I couldn't stand a ass.
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: Since then.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I'm over behind the tree opening gainst. Didn't nobody see me?
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: I did nobody know.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Where I got.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: Love it. I got a remote control car. You gotta what.
- 1:12:48Speaker 15: Behind the trail? Nobody to see me her stuff everywhere.
- 1:12:51Speaker 15: I he we've been friends since I know your sister.

- 1:13:01Speaker 2: All right, guys, thank.
- 1:13:03Speaker 8: You, good morning. This is your man, Steve Harvey. And
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: my New Year's resolutions are the same as they been
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: all year long. That ain't your business. Happy New Year,
- 1:13:12Speaker 8: y'all from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Keep your resolutions
- 1:13:15Speaker 8: to yourself. A lot of haters out there. Don't let
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: them shake your baby.
- 1:13:19Speaker 10: Ah.
- 1:13:22Speaker 9: So Steve Tony on Facebook Rights, one of my coworkers
- 1:13:26Speaker 9: is getting on my nerves and it feels like it
- 1:13:29Speaker 9: could lend me into some serious HR trouble. He and
- 1:13:32Speaker 9: his girlfriend just broke up, and it seems like he's
- 1:13:35Speaker 9: getting into revenge porn mode and she.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Works with us.
- 1:13:39Speaker 9: I guess the two of them used to enjoy recording
- 1:13:41Speaker 9: their sexual activities, and now he's trying to corner me
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: at least eight different times, trying to get me.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: To watch them while he laughs about it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 9: I've tried walking away, telling him I'm not interested, advising
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: him to delete the stuff and get therapy, but brother
- 1:13:56Speaker 9: man is not getting it out at the point where
- 1:14:00Speaker 9: I'm afraid this is all going to backfire on me.
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: Do I snitch and say something to my boss?
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Or do I keep it quiet?
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: So he a little park for that? Yeah?
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Ye on every level.
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: The dude that recorded the girl, Yeah, that's he weak.
- 1:14:18Speaker 8: Weak man, he we he weak. And now look, man,
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: you've told the dude he need to get some therapy.
- 1:14:26Speaker 8: He wants you to watch this. Look, man, I don't
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: want to watch you though. I don't want to see you, yeah,
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: with your girl naked dog? Hey, man, show ass wait
- 1:14:39Speaker 8: for me and then just tell him. Look, man, hey, look,
- 1:14:43Speaker 8: I'm gonna tell you one more time. Don't come to
- 1:14:46Speaker 8: me with that. I have no interest in that.
- 1:14:48Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:14:48Speaker 8: If you keep doing that, man, So obviously the dude
- 1:14:52Speaker 8: that writing a letter, he's like tossed.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: Up a little bit.
- 1:14:54Speaker 8: He don't know what that is, right exactly, you know, man, Look,
- 1:14:58Speaker 8: just hey man, I'm telling you right now, don't show
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: me nothing.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: I ain't interested in this.
- 1:15:03Speaker 8: And if you keep doing it, man, I'm gonna have
- 1:15:05Speaker 8: to I'm gonna have to report it, right and just
- 1:15:09Speaker 8: tell him you're gonna report it.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: But then don't you know, don't man, don't go in
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: there and mess this girl up in him up over
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: trying to show you somewhere you can see. You can
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: stop anybody from showing you anything. You ain't got to
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: sit that.
- 1:15:26Speaker 6: Well.
- 1:15:26Speaker 8: See now, Yeah, I understand that if you in corporate America,
- 1:15:30Speaker 8: which I ain't never been so, but you ain't gonna
- 1:15:33Speaker 8: keep showing me. Nohe told you now, we ain't gotta
- 1:15:36Speaker 8: go talk to no damn about it?
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: About it? I see your ass one more time on
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: his phone.
- 1:15:42Speaker 8: Tell you I'm gonna bust it. If I see it
- 1:15:45Speaker 8: on I'm I'm gonna punch you dead in your mouth.
- 1:15:49Speaker 8: You bring another picture your neggadi ass in here.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: See what happened?
- 1:16:00Speaker 9: Huh? Yeah, we have another one. This is from Pam
- 1:16:04Speaker 9: on Steve Harvey FM. Pam writes, my boyfriend and I
- 1:16:07Speaker 9: have been together for three years. We currently live in
- 1:16:10Speaker 9: the same town as his parents, and since we moved
- 1:16:12Speaker 9: here about a year ago, we've had dinner with his
- 1:16:15Speaker 9: family once a week. I'm not sure why he wants
- 1:16:18Speaker 9: to continue doing this because, from what I can see,
- 1:16:21Speaker 9: none of his family seems to like one another. They're
- 1:16:24Speaker 9: all mean to each other and it brings out a
- 1:16:26Speaker 9: side of my boyfriend that I don't normally see and
- 1:16:29Speaker 9: definitely don't like. He's not like that when we're together,
- 1:16:32Speaker 9: and I don't want to have a family with him
- 1:16:35Speaker 9: if that's what our future is going to look like.
- 1:16:37Speaker 9: Should I see this as a sign that making a
- 1:16:40Speaker 9: new family with my boyfriend would be a mistake, or
- 1:16:43Speaker 9: should I just try to get him to cut his
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: toxic family out of his life.
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: Why don't you try telling him you're not interested in
- 1:16:51Speaker 8: the once a week dinners anymore? Yeah, okay, I think
- 1:16:55Speaker 8: that would be a good way to start, because he's
- 1:16:57Speaker 8: gonna have to say why, and you just say, I
- 1:16:59Speaker 8: just don't enjoy sitting there listening to that. It seems
- 1:17:02Speaker 8: very negative and it's leaving a bad taste in my mouth,
- 1:17:05Speaker 8: and it's got me thinking, if we continue at this pace,
- 1:17:08Speaker 8: we're gonna end up just like that.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: And I don't want to have a family. And I'm
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: not gonna sleep at you. You take your old dad.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: That's the last little jab saying real soft? Uh, how
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: doeshould she say?
- 1:17:26Speaker 13: Steve?
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: And you know, and all this in and there just
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: something I don't want to stand up like that anymore then,
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: and I'm not gonna sleep with you take you.
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: Know.
- 1:17:38Speaker 8: And that's when he had to squeeze, what yes, what
- 1:17:41Speaker 8: did she just? I just I just I And then
- 1:17:45Speaker 8: just do that girl, I just I just don't speak.
- 1:17:50Speaker 8: I can't, I can't and then cry a little all right,
- 1:17:55Speaker 8: and then cry a little Oh, he got to do something.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:18:00Speaker 9: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:18:02Speaker 9: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:11Speaker 9: While New Year's resolutions encourage us to look forward, sometimes
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: it's also important to look back, take a look back sometimes,
- 1:18:17Speaker 9: if only to make sure we leave things in the past.
- 1:18:21Speaker 9: So here's a question for you guys, what would you
- 1:18:24Speaker 9: like to leave behind it?
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: For me, it's the same because you can't get it back,
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: and looking back oftentimes is not Beneficialkay. I've said this
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: one hundred times. There's a reason why the windshield is
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: sixty times bigger than the rearview mirror. There is a
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: reason for that.
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: So I'm more of a look forward person than living
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: in regret or wishing something could continue at all like that.
- 1:18:56Speaker 8: So I'm more of a windshield guy than a rear
- 1:18:59Speaker 8: view miracle, which is going to be a part of
- 1:19:01Speaker 8: my clothing in marks today.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: So oh good, okay, all right, Junior Tommy, anything you want.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: To add, Nephew behind, No, they gonna hear it.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Right what uh huh?
- 1:19:21Speaker 7: That's it?
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:19:24Speaker 9: That was real, juniorish, Nephew, that was real, Junior. I
- 1:19:29Speaker 9: tell you all right on that note, we're out of here.
- 1:19:32Speaker 9: Coming up in thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:19:35Speaker 9: play another round and would you rather right after this.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Now they're gonna hear me.
- 1:19:47Speaker 8: Good morning, Happy New Year from the Steve Harby Morning Show.

- 1:21:55Speaker 8: of that.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Okay, all right, So you're going for a year, nothing
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: for you here?
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: All right? All right?
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: Would you rather be despised by your family and friends
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: but greatly loved by the general public, or be loved
- 1:22:08Speaker 9: by your family and friends and greatly despised by the
- 1:22:11Speaker 9: general public.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: Which one, Oh want my family? Family. I've been both
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: of them. I've been both of them. I've been each
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: for long stretches of time.
- 1:22:30Speaker 9: Hated by your family and loved by the public. And yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:34Speaker 9: loved by your family and hated by the public.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I've been both of them from long periods
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: of time.
- 1:22:40Speaker 5: Have we ever had a wool man?
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: He raised? He said, what.
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: I had?
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: Both of them.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: Hard?
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: Okay, all right, so you have not a choice between
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: the two.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: You know, both of them hard, but experience if you
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: have love. I've had experience with boat.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: For listen, Tommy said, he chooses family. Family.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: At the end of it, I'd rather had a family.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: I just stay in the house. I've had to do that.
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: You do know that I've had to stay my ass
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: in housing.

- 1:24:59Speaker 6: Yes?
- 1:25:00Speaker 13: Take it off? Take it.
- 1:25:03Speaker 8: I ain't gonna be able to make it as a
- 1:25:04Speaker 8: stripper because you know, it ain't what it used to be.
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: You know how when I'm talking.
- 1:25:13Speaker 8: About my body, don't get tired. You know, I got

- 1:26:00Speaker 8: sermons like you know what the hell was y'all thinking.
- 1:26:05Speaker 9: That's the title on Sunday morning church in front of

- 1:26:15Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:26:16Speaker 8: I want to get people at church. I want people
- 1:26:17Speaker 8: to come to church. Yeah, she may not be all that,

- 1:27:10Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I feel good. You know, I'm excited
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: about the prospects of the new year. I'm grateful for
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: last year.
- 1:27:17Speaker 8: All that happened is you know, like you know, when
- 1:27:21Speaker 8: I have setbacks and stuff like that, a setback is
- 1:27:26Speaker 8: just a set up for a comeback.
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: I've always known that.
- 1:27:32Speaker 8: The fact that he allowed me to live through that
- 1:27:35Speaker 8: year and survive at all, Just like everybody else that's listening,
- 1:27:39Speaker 8: you live through it, and you survived at all. As
- 1:27:41Speaker 8: horrific as it may have been, you survived at all, right,
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: the good, the bad, the ugly, the indifferent, you survived
- 1:27:50Speaker 8: at all.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: It's such a blessing.
- 1:27:53Speaker 8: Man, to still be here and still be given yet
- 1:27:57Speaker 8: another year, another opportunity.
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: You just got to look at that that way, man,
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: I don't have any other way I can look at it.
- 1:28:05Speaker 9: But you know what, Steve, you know in spite of
- 1:28:07Speaker 9: all of that, and that's wonderful and I feel you
- 1:28:11Speaker 9: and everything. But there are people out here that are struggling.
- 1:28:14Speaker 9: Even though you say that, you know they're dealing with
- 1:28:16Speaker 9: depression and stuff like that.
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: You know, what would you say? What would you say
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: to them?
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: You know?
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: I mean, you know, therapy is real. Therapy is real.
- 1:28:25Speaker 8: You have to seek help. But I got news for you.
- 1:28:28Speaker 8: There is no greater help than prayer. Even if you
- 1:28:31Speaker 8: go to therapy. The therapists need prayer.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: And they work well together. I like them together.
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: And you got preyer. Don't underestimate the power of prayer. Prayer.
- 1:28:44Speaker 8: Yes, it's so important, y'all because it provides you a
- 1:28:49Speaker 8: level of.
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: Hope and assurance.
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:28:54Speaker 8: That's your life is based on your level of faith.
- 1:29:00Speaker 8: What the average person don't try to get to sometimes,
- 1:29:03Speaker 8: come on, boy, you are where you are because of
- 1:29:06Speaker 8: what you believe. Yes, yes, yes, if your belief factor,
- 1:29:15Speaker 8: you up your received factor.
- 1:29:20Speaker 12: More.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: If you up your belief factor, you up your received factor.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: It's a fact.
- 1:29:26Speaker 8: It's it's the law of attraction. It's everything. It's a
- 1:29:30Speaker 8: man is as he thinks. It's the law of attraction
- 1:29:33Speaker 8: is real, whether you believe it or not, accept it
- 1:29:35Speaker 8: or not. That's the way it works. It's the same
- 1:29:38Speaker 8: way that your TV remote works. If you point your
- 1:29:41Speaker 8: remote at your TV and you press the own button,
- 1:29:44Speaker 8: you know what, while that TV.
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: Comes on partly because you believe it's gonna come on. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: See this remote control.
- 1:29:53Speaker 8: That you have in your hand is based on the
- 1:29:56Speaker 8: belief system. It's in the very beginning. God set it
- 1:30:02Speaker 8: up that way. See God could have just created the
- 1:30:04Speaker 8: world and lit it up, but he specifically in the
- 1:30:08Speaker 8: beginning said in the beginning, he said, let that be light.
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: Words.
- 1:30:14Speaker 8: Yep, he was showing you the power of your words
- 1:30:18Speaker 8: when he's said let there be light, and that was life.
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: You have to manifest your life.
- 1:30:23Speaker 8: You have to project and talk about your life, and
- 1:30:26Speaker 8: you have to remove all negativity. I just was texting
- 1:30:29Speaker 8: somebody early this morning about that who's going through something such.
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: I'm so tired all the time. This is hard.
- 1:30:36Speaker 8: It's hard, and you're tired. But if you're gonna make
- 1:30:38Speaker 8: that the forefront of it, it's gonna ever be hard.
- 1:30:41Speaker 8: It's gonna forever be tired. Wy don't you speak about
- 1:30:44Speaker 8: the results you want. That's what I gotta say. That's
- 1:30:46Speaker 8: my clothing remarks to day.
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: I hope you enjoyed y'all. Stay in faith. Gonna be
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: a great year this year if you expect it to be.
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: Thank you very much. See you tomorrow. I don't know
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: about this year.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: I'm waita egg.
