- 2:14Speaker 1: want to dive right in because I think I got
- 2:17Speaker 1: it here. It is. Did you know that there is
- 2:21Speaker 1: a life for you that's greater than you could have
- 2:27Speaker 1: ever dreamed of? Did you know that there's a life
- 2:31Speaker 1: for you better than the one you've ever felt before?
- 2:36Speaker 1: And did you know that there was a life for
- 2:38Speaker 1: you much bigger than the one you wanted? And lastly,
- 2:46Speaker 1: did you know that what I just said it's true?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Did you know that? Did you know that the things
- 2:55Speaker 1: I just said are available to you? It's not just
- 3:01Speaker 1: intended for those who receive awards. It's for everybody. Yeah,
- 3:11Speaker 1: you two, it's for you. Who didn't get your high
- 3:16Speaker 1: school diploma. It's for you who are incarcerated. It's for
- 3:25Speaker 1: you who have two strikes. It's for you who've been
- 3:32Speaker 1: sentenced to life. It's for you who've gotten out and
- 3:37Speaker 1: have a felony record and can't seem to get it together.
- 3:40Speaker 1: It's for you who have an illness. It's for you
- 3:47Speaker 1: who the doctors have given up on. It's for you,
- 3:53Speaker 1: this life i'm talking about, it's for you. Did you
- 3:58Speaker 1: know that there's a life for you better than the
- 4:03Speaker 1: one you dreamed about, better than the one you've imagined,
- 4:08Speaker 1: a life better than the one you thought of, That
- 4:11Speaker 1: there's a life for you better than the one you've
- 4:13Speaker 1: ever felt before. There's a life for you better than
- 4:17Speaker 1: the one you saw for yourself. There's a better life
- 4:20Speaker 1: for you than the one you expected and even the
- 4:24Speaker 1: one you wanted. Did you know that this is true
- 4:29Speaker 1: for you? See, here's let me give you the secret
- 4:33Speaker 1: to this thing. Now you have to believe that it
- 4:38Speaker 1: is for you. Now, you got to fight through the doubts.
- 4:43Speaker 1: You got to fight through the wheel of satan. Because
- 4:45Speaker 1: the devil is busy man. The devil wants you to
- 4:47Speaker 1: think that is hopeless The devil wants you to think
- 4:50Speaker 1: that this is it. The devil wants you to think
- 4:53Speaker 1: that ain't no more to it. The devil wants you
- 4:55Speaker 1: to think that this applies to other people. But you, Yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 1: you've been dealt the world hand of them all, which
- 5:01Speaker 1: you ate. But that's what the devil wants you to think.
- 5:03Speaker 1: So you gotta fight through. Now. You gotta fight through
- 5:07Speaker 1: to get to what I just said is available for you.
- 5:10Speaker 1: But what else you got to do? You ain't doing
- 5:12Speaker 1: nothing else, might as well fight? Why just wake up
- 5:15Speaker 1: and just let it be? Why would you wake up
- 5:17Speaker 1: every day and just exist when there's a chance for
- 5:21Speaker 1: you to actually live. See the reason I don't mind
- 5:24Speaker 1: smiling so much now is because I'm no longer existing.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'm living now. See. See, that's what you want to
- 5:31Speaker 1: get to. You don't want to exist, to wake up,
- 5:34Speaker 1: paycheck to paycheck, date today, not knowing, not understanding, not having,
- 5:40Speaker 1: can't can't get this, can't get that, can't go here,
- 5:43Speaker 1: can't go there, Gotta wait, gotta wait, gota wait, gota
- 5:46Speaker 1: wait till it seems like you never get nowhere. You
- 5:49Speaker 1: can get out of that rut of life feeling like
- 5:52Speaker 1: when you wake up in the morning that your life
- 5:54Speaker 1: is whole hum that you're just in a rut. I
- 5:56Speaker 1: drive the same way to work, I do the same
- 5:59Speaker 1: thing own my job. When I get off, I drive
- 6:01Speaker 1: all the way back home. I sit there, I read
- 6:04Speaker 1: the newspaper. I water the lawn. I'm so sick of
- 6:08Speaker 1: my life. It ain't this, ain't what I wanted. Man
- 6:10Speaker 1: and start, wake up, start over, do the same thing.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Then the weekend gets in. You got to mow the lawn,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and then you try to fix something in the garage,
- 6:19Speaker 1: and you feel like your life is in the rut.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I'm talking about. If this feels like a rut to
- 6:23Speaker 1: you now, if it's what you've always wanted, I'm cool
- 6:25Speaker 1: with that. But I'm talking to people who want it more,
- 6:29Speaker 1: who would love their life to be more, who would
- 6:32Speaker 1: love their life to different, to be different. I'm not
- 6:34Speaker 1: criticizing you if I just described your life. I'm just
- 6:38Speaker 1: only talking to the ones who would dare to believe
- 6:42Speaker 1: that there's more to it than this. I'm only talking
- 6:45Speaker 1: to the ones who would dad dad to accept the challenge,
- 6:49Speaker 1: to fight through and see what God got for you
- 6:53Speaker 1: instead of listening to Satan all the time. Devil is busy. Man,
- 6:57Speaker 1: Please understand, he's so busy, so busy, trying to trick you,
- 7:00Speaker 1: get you into the groove. You know they're doing all
- 7:03Speaker 1: kinds of stuff now, man, you know atheists and already
- 7:07Speaker 1: got prayer. Taking out of schools. Excuse me, look at
- 7:10Speaker 1: our skills schools, not as a push by the atheist
- 7:13Speaker 1: to get the words in God we trust, taking off
- 7:15Speaker 1: our money. Here's a deal. If you don't believe in God,
- 7:17Speaker 1: and you don't want trust in God, just going about
- 7:19Speaker 1: your business. But what you can't do is spill off
- 7:21Speaker 1: all into what I'm talking about. That's the problem I
- 7:24Speaker 1: have with all of them. If you're gonna do you,
- 7:27Speaker 1: didn't do you, but don't spill off into what I got. Now. See,
- 7:30Speaker 1: if you don't believe what I'm saying, then I ain't
- 7:32Speaker 1: talking to you. Let's just be clear about the relationship
- 7:35Speaker 1: with Steve Harvey and his crew. I'm only talking to
- 7:38Speaker 1: the people that believe that are looking for something else,
- 7:41Speaker 1: that wants something more, that wants something better, that's gotta
- 7:46Speaker 1: be out there searching and hoping and trying to do more.
- 7:49Speaker 1: That's all I'm talking to now. If you don't believe
- 7:53Speaker 1: what I'm saying, it's true. Didn't go ahead and try
- 7:54Speaker 1: it your way? Go see write me, email me, let
- 7:57Speaker 1: me know how it's going for you. But I'm telling
- 8:00Speaker 1: you of a way that's tried and true. If you
- 8:03Speaker 1: go to God, if you go to your creator, your makeup,
- 8:06Speaker 1: if you go to him and you go to him
- 8:10Speaker 1: for real and tell him, hey, you know what, I
- 8:13Speaker 1: want you to go ahead and take over from here.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm done. I didn't done all I know how to
- 8:18Speaker 1: do out and tried everything I know how to try.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I'm sick of me right now. Hey, look here, you
- 8:24Speaker 1: created me what you want me to do, and you're
- 8:27Speaker 1: a cool thing about it. When I made that decision, y'all, see,
- 8:30Speaker 1: I was so afraid for years that I was gonna
- 8:32Speaker 1: miss out on something if I did that. I couldn't
- 8:34Speaker 1: do this no more. But the stuff I needed to
- 8:36Speaker 1: stop doing, I really need to stop. The things I
- 8:39Speaker 1: was afraid of not being able to do anymore were
- 8:41Speaker 1: the very same things I really didn't need to be
- 8:43Speaker 1: doing no more in the first place. On the real man,
- 8:47Speaker 1: on the real all that temporary fun I was having
- 8:51Speaker 1: all them temporary outlets. I was using all them temporary
- 8:55Speaker 1: things trying to fulfill myself I was doing. I was
- 8:57Speaker 1: just doing a bunch of temporary mess. Man. I said,
- 9:00Speaker 1: hold up, man, I want something permanent. Man, I want
- 9:04Speaker 1: a permanent feeling in my heart that it's gonna be
- 9:06Speaker 1: all right. So he replaced all that fun with joy.
- 9:10Speaker 1: But it's only because I went and I faced him.
- 9:13Speaker 1: He didn't take me and stop me from being me.
- 9:17Speaker 1: He just made a better version of me. See, God
- 9:20Speaker 1: don't take he because all the stuff he sent you through,
- 9:23Speaker 1: he needed you to go through all him. He needed
- 9:25Speaker 1: you to have him experience or what it felt like
- 9:27Speaker 1: to be locked up. He needed you to have experience
- 9:29Speaker 1: and know what it was to lose everything. He needed
- 9:32Speaker 1: you to have experience to make you tough. You're just
- 9:35Speaker 1: gonna be a tough one. I'm a tough soldier in
- 9:38Speaker 1: his army. That's all I just say. One of the
- 9:41Speaker 1: weak ones. I protect the weak ones. God didn't take
- 9:46Speaker 1: a lot of stuff from it, except the stuff I needed.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But the stuff he made me to be, He allowed
- 9:51Speaker 1: me to keep it, and he just made a better me.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Do that, y'all, and you can have what you want.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, man I have your undivided attention. Please.

- 13:58Speaker 1: Harvey FM dot com. All right, Steve, it sounds like
- 14:00Speaker 1: you're ready. This one is from Incognito in Oklahoma, says
- 14:06Speaker 1: my husband is a security guard at a community college.
- 14:09Speaker 1: He recently busted two students smoking weed, and he took
- 14:12Speaker 1: the weed and reported them. He brought the weed home
- 14:15Speaker 1: and put it on his nightstand. I didn't know he
- 14:18Speaker 1: had to turn the weed into the school, so I
- 14:20Speaker 1: smoked it. When he noticed the weed was gone, he
- 14:24Speaker 1: flipped out and said he could lose his job over this.
- 14:28Speaker 1: He searched all over the house. He knows I smoked,
- 14:31Speaker 1: but he never accused me of taking it. I hate
- 14:33Speaker 1: to see him this stressed out. Should I confess lose
- 14:41Speaker 1: his job? You confess and ain't gonna say to job.
- 14:44Speaker 1: You got to basm damn weed and give it to
- 14:47Speaker 1: your hug. But you're too high to figure that out.
- 14:53Speaker 1: All but he doesn't smoke, and she she thought he
- 15:05Speaker 1: brought the pant off the top of that. They say
- 15:13Speaker 1: they do the damn wow. She's greedy, Bill, all right,
- 15:21Speaker 1: So buy your man some more weed, all right? Moving on.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Santania in Evanston, Illinois, says I'm a live music junkie
- 15:29Speaker 1: and I've always loved drummers. Two Saturdays ago, my boyfriend
- 15:33Speaker 1: and I want to hear a band and I locked
- 15:36Speaker 1: eyes with the drummer and we flirted all night. I
- 15:39Speaker 1: managed to slip him my business card before we left,
- 15:41Speaker 1: and he called me the next day. I met him
- 15:44Speaker 1: for lunch on a Tuesday, and right after we were seated,
- 15:48Speaker 1: my boyfriend appeared out of nowhere and sat with us.
- 15:52Speaker 1: My boyfriend and the drummer are co workers, so it
- 15:56Speaker 1: was a setup and my boyfriend dumped me. It's cold.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I want Yeah, it's cool though, because I want the drummer.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Do you think I stand a chance with him now? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 16:08Speaker 1: yeah yeah. You're gonna get the drummer, that's all. You're
- 16:11Speaker 1: gonna gets a drummer. That's right. You're gonna get beat
- 16:14Speaker 1: and then that's gonna be it. He gonna beat you
- 16:19Speaker 1: because that's what drummers do, and then that's gonna be it.
- 16:24Speaker 1: It was a setup. They was co workers. You got busted.
- 16:27Speaker 1: That's okay. You want to drum anyway, going and go
- 16:30Speaker 1: for the drummer, but you're about to find the trick
- 16:33Speaker 1: dudes is dudes is real tricky. When they're real boys.
- 16:37Speaker 1: You need to get off them to have drummers. I mean,
- 16:40Speaker 1: if you just have to have a drummer and open
- 16:43Speaker 1: up yourself up the piano players, horn players, dude, Yeah,
- 16:51Speaker 1: that's kind of crazy. No, you don't stand a chance
- 16:54Speaker 1: with him. Car Lisa and making Georgia. I've been married
- 16:58Speaker 1: for a year and I moved into my husband's home
- 17:00Speaker 1: after the wedding. I noticed he had a lot of
- 17:04Speaker 1: female clothing and coats in a basement closet. He told
- 17:07Speaker 1: me they belonged to his ex, and she moved out
- 17:10Speaker 1: of state and needed to store a few things temporarily.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I put all of her stuff in a big plastic bin,
- 17:16Speaker 1: and I told him I need her address. He said
- 17:19Speaker 1: I can't send them to her because that's rude, and
- 17:22Speaker 1: he promised to keep them for her. I know he
- 17:25Speaker 1: loves me, but should I worry about his loyalty to
- 17:27Speaker 1: his ex? What? Well, it's not no loyalty, it's just it.
- 17:32Speaker 1: He's got a little bit mixed up because if he
- 17:35Speaker 1: thinks he's been to live in that house in peace
- 17:39Speaker 1: with her clothes, damn basement, he's sadly mistaken. Your job
- 17:46Speaker 1: is to give him nothing but pure hell clones until
- 17:51Speaker 1: they gone. And I want all the fellows to know
- 17:54Speaker 1: I'm not telling them nothing they ain't gonna do anyway.
- 17:59Speaker 1: You always tell me, don't think no, this is what
- 18:01Speaker 1: they gonna do any damn one. We already knew this.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I applaud her so hard for packing them up and
- 18:08Speaker 1: sending him to her wanting to do that. Oh yeah, no, no, no, no,
- 18:12Speaker 1: she gots to get out of here. Now he's gonna
- 18:14Speaker 1: tell her he'd keep him. No pardoning him Oh, I
- 18:18Speaker 1: got what you're saying, but just got to go. Got
- 18:24Speaker 1: to Yeah, I know he loves me, but should I
- 18:27Speaker 1: worry about his loyalty to his It's not loyalty to her.
- 18:32Speaker 1: He just he is something as a favor. He thinks
- 18:35Speaker 1: he's being honorable about doing what he said he gonna do,
- 18:39Speaker 1: but it cannot be at the expensive you No, mister Pard,
- 18:43Speaker 1: he's missing right, that's exactly right, Steve. He said, I
- 18:46Speaker 1: can't his wife can't send them to her because that's rude. Okay,
- 18:51Speaker 1: well we're about to be rude. Yeah, I'm the new
- 18:55Speaker 1: miss so and so, and hear your sugar hunted iced teeth, right,
- 19:02Speaker 1: And then the husband said he promised to keep them
- 19:05Speaker 1: for her. What you have where you got? Yeah? You promise? Yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 1: thank you. This is my house now because we can
- 19:20Speaker 1: when you want to do you want to burn it?
- 19:22Speaker 1: How you want to do it? I wouldn't have game.
- 19:27Speaker 1: You look running this? Yeah? Baby? What is that in
- 19:38Speaker 1: the fireplace? Cloth clothes? Yeah that smoke? Why smell that
- 19:46Speaker 1: perfume in here? Close? Promise But this is a red
- 19:54Speaker 1: flag though, because he doesn't see that. You know this
- 19:57Speaker 1: is the red flag. He said, I can't send them
- 19:59Speaker 1: to her because that's rude. And I promised, that's the
- 20:02Speaker 1: red flag. Your husband should never say that to you
- 20:04Speaker 1: about another woman. Come on, get him out of it
- 20:09Speaker 1: in the morning. That's the only promise you need to. Yeah. Yeah,
- 20:13Speaker 1: that's not cool, not cool at all. All right, for
- 20:19Speaker 1: some clothes and bring them in now you have okay,
- 20:23Speaker 1: all right, Junior, Oh that's Jimmy's Jack. I promise, I'm
- 20:26Speaker 1: We're keep it. Yeah, And you can't handle this because
- 20:30Speaker 1: that's rude. Now Jimmy checking now who started to fire?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Jimmy the coke get your jacking for Jimmy. Get Jack.
- 20:45Speaker 1: We're with you, Lisa, all right, thank you, thank you
- 20:49Speaker 1: so much, see l O. Great advice as always. Coming

- 21:46Speaker 1: church is always finding wee's to complain. Now we are
- 21:53Speaker 1: here to deal with it in that level of overweed
- 21:59Speaker 1: to find me for the discernment of the perpetuation. Lord
- 22:04Speaker 1: Jesus appreciate you. Okay, Amen, you you you better understand.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Let us begin. I passed the members. When when will
- 22:23Speaker 1: we be coming back to the church to have service.
- 22:26Speaker 1: The attendance on Zoom is at all time low, and
- 22:31Speaker 1: your sermons are the same. They are tired. When you're
- 22:35Speaker 1: losing members by the day, you're gonna have to do
- 22:38Speaker 1: something different. Paths. Well, let me let's clarify something about
- 22:43Speaker 1: these sermons being tied is as I see screens blinking off,
- 22:50Speaker 1: as do I blink off, But but they're blinking off
- 22:54Speaker 1: because of you passed it, because they no no, no, no,
- 22:59Speaker 1: no no no. See. I want you to understand that
- 23:05Speaker 1: our congregation has been hit with several new cases and
- 23:14Speaker 1: not COVID. No, but our members have just come down
- 23:19Speaker 1: with colds and and and they all of them got
- 23:24Speaker 1: pre existing conditions. If we ain't got to health, the
- 23:26Speaker 1: churchmen in him, well, so you know one well, I
- 23:31Speaker 1: told him you can't even zoom when you sick up
- 23:33Speaker 1: in hill. But I don't know how this virus go
- 23:38Speaker 1: I didn't come from. If the virus come through the internet,
- 23:42Speaker 1: it ain't gonna have him over hill. You can't catch
- 23:45Speaker 1: snacking on zoom. If you cough all sneeze, I'm the one.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I here's a confession. If I see your cough or
- 23:53Speaker 1: sneeze on the zoom, I take your video off. Amen. Amen,
- 24:00Speaker 1: the healthy pastor everybody that's confident don't have some Some
- 24:06Speaker 1: people can have a rec they're still regular sick. Pastor,
- 24:09Speaker 1: you can still be regular sick. We don't know that. Miss.
- 24:17Speaker 1: If they got should go somewhere. Wants you get out?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Helly Trump rallies all the way up to a man pastor. Yes,
- 24:32Speaker 1: let's keep it moving right along past it. We got
- 24:34Speaker 1: a situation here. Sister Rivers needs our help. She fell
- 24:37Speaker 1: at our house and dislocated her booty. Shee would like
- 24:42Speaker 1: our health to get her booty back in position. Was
- 24:46Speaker 1: it fact? Well, the only reason that you could dislocate
- 24:50Speaker 1: a booty is you used, oh fix your flat, which
- 24:57Speaker 1: was real big down in that you mble or Sister
- 25:00Speaker 1: Rivers disappeared for several days and that took a flight
- 25:04Speaker 1: into a letter and got a booty, came back with
- 25:07Speaker 1: a boat vodacious behind. Once you fall and it shifts,
- 25:13Speaker 1: it's just over there. So what had happened to Sister
- 25:16Speaker 1: Rivers was both halves of her ass was on one side.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I didn't know that all was on one side. Who
- 25:28Speaker 1: crack and everything was off center. That's that's bad. That's bad.
- 25:34Speaker 1: So when she went to the tarlet, she sat on
- 25:36Speaker 1: the sideways like a white girl on the horse. I'm
- 25:43Speaker 1: leaving this church two days. My last visualized. Yeah, you
- 25:55Speaker 1: took way. I didn't know we was going. You took
- 25:57Speaker 1: me somewhere out all right in here now, Brother Darius
- 26:02Speaker 1: Roberts is in I c U all right now. He
- 26:05Speaker 1: does not have COVID nineteen. But he forgot to brush
- 26:09Speaker 1: his teeth on Sunday morning, and when he put his
- 26:12Speaker 1: mask on, his breath knocked him smooth out. He's on
- 26:15Speaker 1: a cold gate IB right now. His kids are asking
- 26:19Speaker 1: for financial support twenty three hundred dollars in medical feeds.
- 26:23Speaker 1: A WEE can help. He's on a cold gate IB
- 26:25Speaker 1: right now. He's in I c U because oh, because
- 26:33Speaker 1: of I s M. That's him him. Yeah, what is that?
- 26:42Speaker 1: That's when I smell me. Get your ass in I
- 26:50Speaker 1: CU exactly what looked like what happened to him? All right,
- 27:01Speaker 1: I don't think I think you're gonna have to shut
- 27:03Speaker 1: this down. The wheelchair volunteer of Fire Department Ministry. This
- 27:09Speaker 1: doesn't seem to be working out. They've had two cows
- 27:12Speaker 1: and haven't been able to complete either one. I'm miss
- 27:14Speaker 1: Geddred's cat. It's still stuck in the tree as just
- 27:17Speaker 1: pass Tildy. And they had a grease fire at the
- 27:20Speaker 1: Slappy Boat Restaurant. Now they was able to put out
- 27:23Speaker 1: the first flow, but they couldn't roll up to the
- 27:25Speaker 1: second and put it out the second flow. Frank nine.
- 27:27Speaker 1: So you're gonna have to stop this minute. It's not working. No,
- 27:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna let them continue. I think they're doing a
- 27:34Speaker 1: one wonderful job for low burning fire. If you live
- 27:42Speaker 1: in a two family duplex, apartment or office space, don't
- 27:53Speaker 1: call us. We are only for garage fires, base smith's
- 28:00Speaker 1: studio files and porch fires. Yeah, that's all we do. Poach,
- 28:12Speaker 1: all right, we only do first flows basically past. All right,
- 28:15Speaker 1: here's another one. Old souls on the poll. This, this
- 28:18Speaker 1: is gonna have to stop instead of basket. Well, even
- 28:21Speaker 1: all of our sisters that are over sixty are now
- 28:25Speaker 1: working out on the pole, and three of them have
- 28:27Speaker 1: fouling and hurt themselfs already. You're gonna have to shut
- 28:30Speaker 1: it down. But old souls on the pole that it's
- 28:33Speaker 1: become a crime. I'm not gonna shut it down, or
- 28:35Speaker 1: I think we're gonna just let them wear themselves down,
- 28:40Speaker 1: but they're gonna hurt the self pack and then they
- 28:42Speaker 1: won't get back up there. It's kind of like what
- 28:46Speaker 1: the president is doing with the virus. He gonna let
- 28:52Speaker 1: it's called herd immunity. He gonna let everybody get it,
- 28:57Speaker 1: so everybody get immune. We're gonna let everybody fall, so
- 29:00Speaker 1: everybody else get up there. That's smart passes at the
- 29:09Speaker 1: present VOCA. Yes, thank you for church complaints today. Coming
- 29:15Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have some
- 29:17Speaker 1: entertainment and national news for you right after this. You're
- 29:20Speaker 1: listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Today. In every
- 29:26Speaker 1: Monday until the election, our news director miss Anne will
- 29:30Speaker 1: host a series called Why We Vote. Today's segment is
- 29:34Speaker 1: called the Wilmington Lie. Miss Anne will give us a
- 29:36Speaker 1: history lesson on Wilmington, North Carolina, and you don't want
- 29:40Speaker 1: to miss it. But first in today's entertainment news, Issa
- 29:44Speaker 1: Ray was a guest host on Saturday Night Live and
- 29:47Speaker 1: she did a comedy sketch called Your Voice Chicago where
- 29:51Speaker 1: Esa was a political commentator named Jamel Demmings, and Jamel
- 29:55Speaker 1: made it clear that she was going to vote for
- 29:57Speaker 1: everybody black. But take a listen to what Jamal said
- 30:00Speaker 1: about the presidential race. When the segment was just about
- 30:03Speaker 1: to end. Why don't we take a break. When we
- 30:06Speaker 1: come back, we'll talk about the presidential race between Donald Trump,
- 30:10Speaker 1: Joe Biden, and Kanye West. Kanye him, well, Kanye, uh,
- 30:20Speaker 1: no surprise here, didn't think the skit was funny at all.
- 30:24Speaker 1: And yesterday he tweeted, I've always said SNL uses black
- 30:29Speaker 1: people to hold other black people back. My heart goes
- 30:33Speaker 1: out to Ester Ray. I'm praying for her, her family.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I know that twenty years of service that I've paid
- 30:38Speaker 1: in the entertainment field, has further our ability to be
- 30:42Speaker 1: more successful. He got all that from there, Yeah, from that. Yeah,
- 30:49Speaker 1: you just have to take a joke cut. Yeah, yeah, Well,
- 30:53Speaker 1: and you're right, Jay to think about it is he
- 30:55Speaker 1: takes himself very very seriously, and you know, sometimes you
- 30:59Speaker 1: can laugh at your Keenan does me on Saturday Night
- 31:04Speaker 1: Live on Family Feud, had him on my Facebook show.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think it's a way of holding
- 31:13Speaker 1: me back and putting me down. You know, it's a joke. Uh,
- 31:20Speaker 1: first of all, you got to be famous to make
- 31:22Speaker 1: the joke thing on Saturday Night Live to begin with.
- 31:26Speaker 1: So I just I just take the good with it.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it ain't that big a deal.
- 31:30Speaker 1: But didn't really say nothing about just just saying that Kanye,
- 31:34Speaker 1: that's all. I can't tell you. But he's a serious
- 31:37Speaker 1: presidential candidate, and you can't take to himself. He's not
- 31:43Speaker 1: a serious presidential candidate and to himself. But that's that's
- 31:48Speaker 1: the part man that doesn't I don't know, man, I'm
- 31:52Speaker 1: just you know, you know this, this this whole week
- 31:56Speaker 1: and a half has been kind of crazy, you know,
- 31:58Speaker 1: with my man qube and everything. Just last week I
- 32:02Speaker 1: was saying, you know, uh, it's just been kind of
- 32:05Speaker 1: crazy because, like you know, I know, cubes hard, but
- 32:08Speaker 1: I also understand the timing of all of this. And
- 32:11Speaker 1: you know, we just we just we just sat a
- 32:13Speaker 1: stage man where we can't get distracted. Right, we know
- 32:17Speaker 1: what we have to do. We all have to vote.
- 32:19Speaker 1: We're too close. Uh, they're counting on us not doing it.
- 32:24Speaker 1: They're counting us being scared of going out to the polls.
- 32:29Speaker 1: They're counting on their Voter Suppression Act to have work.
- 32:32Speaker 1: And they've done everything. They moved mailboxes, slow down mail.
- 32:36Speaker 1: They refused to even send me my ballot. They won't
- 32:40Speaker 1: even send me mine. But I got something for them
- 32:42Speaker 1: soon as I get off to day. Go down. Now
- 32:47Speaker 1: you got to go, homie, Yeah, yeah, no, no, I
- 32:58Speaker 1: ain't gonna be flying. Go on a regular car, man,
- 33:01Speaker 1: and then put your mask on. You might not know
- 33:03Speaker 1: who you are. You do you have a regular car? Yeah?
- 33:10Speaker 1: My Look at the time, it's time. Which one go
- 33:20Speaker 1: ahead and introduced m fan Please, ladies and gentlemen, miss
- 33:23Speaker 1: and trip, thank you very much. This is a trip
- 33:25Speaker 1: with the news. How speaker Nancy Pelosi is giving the
- 33:28Speaker 1: White House till tomorrow morning to work out its differences
- 33:31Speaker 1: with congressional members on a new coronavirus relief package for
- 33:35Speaker 1: forgetting about or getting about getting excuse me, getting one
- 33:39Speaker 1: finalized before the November third election. It's tomorrow, okay that
- 33:43Speaker 1: she wants something done. Pelosi was on ABC's This Week.
- 33:46Speaker 1: She says the main sticking point concerns the Trump administrations
- 33:49Speaker 1: watering down. She says the language on bringing COVID nineteen
- 33:53Speaker 1: under control and eradicated. They took out fifty five percent
- 33:57Speaker 1: of the language that we had there for testing and tracing.
- 34:01Speaker 1: And the tracing part is so important because communities of
- 34:05Speaker 1: color had been disproportionately affected by this. Pelosi says she
- 34:09Speaker 1: nevertheless remains hopeful. Now to the subject of election, this
- 34:13Speaker 1: is an trip with why we vote. The scene is
- 34:15Speaker 1: North Carolina. David Zucchino was author of Wilmington's Life in
- 34:19Speaker 1: eighteen ninety eight. Wilmington was unusual in two respects. One,
- 34:24Speaker 1: it had a majority African American population, but more importantly,
- 34:28Speaker 1: it had a multi racial government. Three of the ten
- 34:32Speaker 1: city councilmen were black, and ten of the twenty six
- 34:35Speaker 1: policemen were black. They were black magistrates, black lawyers and doctors,
- 34:39Speaker 1: the superintendent in the streets, and the county treasurer, and
- 34:42Speaker 1: there was this shared power with white Republicans. The white
- 34:47Speaker 1: supremacists realized they could be outvoted at the ballot park,
- 34:50Speaker 1: so it was crucial for them to crush the black vote.
- 34:55Speaker 1: They claimed that black men were sexually insatiable and all
- 34:58Speaker 1: they cared about was was attacking white women, and made
- 35:02Speaker 1: up this phony rape emidemic. The white supremises claimed blacks
- 35:07Speaker 1: had been stockpiling weapons and we're planning to rise up
- 35:11Speaker 1: and kill all the whites and take over the town,
- 35:13Speaker 1: when in fact it was the whites who were stockpiling
- 35:16Speaker 1: weapons and very carefully planning a massacre to kill black citizens,
- 35:20Speaker 1: which they did. They had white vigilantes called red shirts,
- 35:25Speaker 1: basically an outboats of the plan, and their job was
- 35:28Speaker 1: right out to the countryside at night, armed with shotguns
- 35:31Speaker 1: and pistols, break into black homes and pull out black
- 35:34Speaker 1: men and beat them and whip them and tell them,
- 35:37Speaker 1: if you dare registers, vote, we'll come back and kill you.
- 35:41Speaker 1: In eighteen ninety six, there were one hundred and twenty
- 35:44Speaker 1: six thousand registered black men, just six years later, nineteen
- 35:48Speaker 1: o two, the numbers down to six thousands. I see
- 35:53Speaker 1: echoes of eighteen ninety eight everywhere, so called white nationalists,
- 35:57Speaker 1: and they're using the same techniques the white succumbases of
- 36:01Speaker 1: eighteen ninety So it really concerns me. That was David Zucchino,
- 36:05Speaker 1: author of Wilmington's Lie. So why do we vote? Because
- 36:08Speaker 1: they tried so hard to keep us from doing it.
- 36:10Speaker 1: This is a trip back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:14Speaker 1: You're listening show, Lady and gentlemen, we're back. And as
- 36:19Speaker 1: we're back into the radio show, it is time for
- 36:23Speaker 1: a dog impeded, unimpeded look into the mind of a
- 36:30Speaker 1: person who does it is not rapp really oh as
- 36:37Speaker 1: dog he that's when it is really dog when you
- 36:39Speaker 1: don't know it. Ladies and gentlemen, Jay Anthony Brown, here
- 36:44Speaker 1: we go. This is what you need to take with
- 36:48Speaker 1: you when you get ready to vote. What to put
- 36:50Speaker 1: in your backpack, how to be ready. Gonna need some
- 36:53Speaker 1: wet wipes, You're gonna need some extra batteries, a power
- 36:56Speaker 1: pack for your radio. Stay away from itchy wool pants
- 37:00Speaker 1: and skirts. Okay, just trust me on that, all right?
- 37:04Speaker 1: Take you something to doing a little peak. Containers they
- 37:07Speaker 1: sell at the travel places. I got one. Ladies have
- 37:10Speaker 1: one compladies. I had to get the one that's extra
- 37:13Speaker 1: wide opening. That's just mine. Okay. You might have to
- 37:15Speaker 1: ask that you go back when you go down at
- 37:19Speaker 1: a vote. These are things you need. Stay away from.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Snacks that stink. Please, don't take staking as snacks down there,
- 37:27Speaker 1: like sardines and seas and sour crouds and collet greens.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Nobody all right, when you when you get ready for
- 37:38Speaker 1: the next day to go vote, freeze your water freezing. Okay,
- 37:41Speaker 1: it ain't gonna be freezing, damn it. You ain't got
- 37:44Speaker 1: no can't he freeze it? Okay, freeze it. If you
- 37:47Speaker 1: can't carry a backpack, get one of them things that roll.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Don't worry about nobody making fun of you because you
- 37:52Speaker 1: look old. Your back will thank your old ass. Okay,
- 37:58Speaker 1: take several, mask several because they're gonna get all spitting
- 38:03Speaker 1: and gooey and stuff like that, so you might have
- 38:05Speaker 1: to change up. You want sunglasses, you want a nice hat,
- 38:09Speaker 1: all right, here's another thing. Make friends. But who's in
- 38:12Speaker 1: front of you and who's in the back of you?
- 38:15Speaker 1: Make your friends? Why are you doing yourself? In case
- 38:19Speaker 1: you gotta go pee and they'll hold your lit allpens.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Get it that depends, that depends, get it that deepens,
- 38:32Speaker 1: get it that depends. And take you. Take you. This
- 38:39Speaker 1: is the very important. Take you a comfortable folding chair,
- 38:44Speaker 1: very comfortable folding chair. Now, this is very important. Check
- 38:48Speaker 1: the weight of the chair. And check your weight too. Okay,
- 38:53Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Check your weight and the
- 38:56Speaker 1: chair weight. All right, they shouldn't. They should mask the chair.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Will let your big ass. No. If this is the wrong,
- 39:05Speaker 1: wait for the chair. Okay, you do these things. You
- 39:08Speaker 1: have a good time when you stand in land to vote.
- 39:10Speaker 1: So all I gotta say, yeah, you don't have anything
- 39:14Speaker 1: else to say about your new show that already check
- 39:20Speaker 1: out Assisted Livy on b Et Taliberry's network, one episode
- 39:26Speaker 1: each night. Yeah, starting your boy and watch out there now, Jay,
- 39:30Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up at thirty four minutes after be
- 39:33Speaker 1: our President Trump. We'll just talk about him. That's what's
- 39:37Speaker 1: coming up. We'll talk about him right after this. You're
- 39:40Speaker 1: listening to Okay, what's going on? President Trump is on
- 39:47Speaker 1: the campaign trail. There are only fifteen days left until
- 39:50Speaker 1: the election, and while in Michigan. He lashed out at
- 39:54Speaker 1: the Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer as a crowd channit lock
- 39:59Speaker 1: her up, reminiscent of twenty sixteen when he was referring
- 40:02Speaker 1: to Hillary Clinton locking her up. Yeah, we all remember
- 40:06Speaker 1: that the governor of Michigan was a target in a
- 40:09Speaker 1: foiled kidnapping plot. Right, well, Governor Whitmer tweeted yesterday the
- 40:14Speaker 1: President Trump is fanning the flames of domestic terrorism. And also,
- 40:19Speaker 1: did anyone see the Democratic Georgia state representative Vernon Jones
- 40:23Speaker 1: at a Trump rally in Making, Georgia. Yeah, okay, well yeah, yeah,
- 40:30Speaker 1: he was crowdsurfing without wearing a mask. Now, according to
- 40:34Speaker 1: the Daily Mail, representative Vernon Jones dove into the crowd
- 40:37Speaker 1: like he was at a concert or something and was
- 40:40Speaker 1: being passed over the heads of those in the crowd.
- 40:42Speaker 1: And you know, Trump crowds don't wear masks giving thumbs up. Yeah.
- 40:48Speaker 1: But the crazy part is Jones is a right yeah, yeah,
- 40:53Speaker 1: he's not a small man. Uh he's a Democrat. Yeah,
- 40:59Speaker 1: he's a Trump supporter. Okay, yeah, you don't get your
- 41:03Speaker 1: back ass off from me. So, I mean, he's not
- 41:08Speaker 1: a small man. But as soon as this is over,
- 41:11Speaker 1: they're gonna throw his ass out the window. As soon
- 41:14Speaker 1: as this is over, right in the flow, right in
- 41:19Speaker 1: the damn what do you mean, Jake, Just like they
- 41:24Speaker 1: did in Braveheart. Remember they do the dude that the
- 41:26Speaker 1: wind in Braveheart. Yeah, I don't know right now, I've
- 41:36Speaker 1: never seen a politician do that. I don't. I don't
- 41:38Speaker 1: know what don't. I don't know why some black people
- 41:42Speaker 1: think that they're just completely accepted. I promise you you're not. Yeah,
- 41:48Speaker 1: they didn't completely accept Luther Michael Jordan's people don't as
- 41:54Speaker 1: a whole, don't completely except I don't know how you,
- 41:57Speaker 1: as a politician at a Trump rally, thank you for
- 42:01Speaker 1: your dog ass in a crowd and everybody cool with it.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Here comes I hope I don't about pass him over
- 42:07Speaker 1: this way. I swear to god, I ain't touching exactly
- 42:11Speaker 1: what it looked like. I mean, no matter. I mean,
- 42:14Speaker 1: how do you get caught up where you're gonna play
- 42:16Speaker 1: a game of catch the inn word? What? Really? Oh?
- 42:22Speaker 1: He did not, That's what they somebody probably saying, who
- 42:26Speaker 1: came up with this game? Passion over this? He wasn't
- 42:32Speaker 1: let me touch you, I ain't up touch let me
- 42:34Speaker 1: touch you. He's a tall one, ain't he about six six?
- 42:41Speaker 1: Ain't he looking there? You want it much fun? How
- 42:46Speaker 1: much fun are you having when you say, let me
- 42:48Speaker 1: jump my black ass into this crowd? Man? I don't
- 42:55Speaker 1: having the most fun ahead, let into this. This is
- 43:04Speaker 1: gonna be the most free. I guess for him it
- 43:07Speaker 1: was therapeutic. And then he had thumbs up. Did you
- 43:11Speaker 1: see him with the yeah? But you know, good head
- 43:15Speaker 1: with black people home like, he ain't got to be
- 43:17Speaker 1: this damn much of you. Ain't got this hard man
- 43:22Speaker 1: who see tough crowd? Yeah? Yeah? And then and then
- 43:27Speaker 1: you make that calls did you see me? Did you
- 43:30Speaker 1: see me? Yeah? You know, you know he's not gonna
- 43:34Speaker 1: be out done herschel Walker going next week. He gonna
- 43:36Speaker 1: die right now. But what goes through your mind? What's
- 43:42Speaker 1: your thought pattern right before you dive into the crowd.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I can't imagine where this thought process is. I've never
- 43:50Speaker 1: jumped into a sea of black people. Yeah, yeah, what
- 43:57Speaker 1: makes you think this is gonna be? All right? This
- 43:59Speaker 1: is a cool thing to do? Okay, all right? It
- 44:03Speaker 1: is fifteen days guys until the November third election. Early
- 44:06Speaker 1: voting has started. Go to vote dot org and get
- 44:08Speaker 1: your dates. You want to know when you can early vote.

- 44:13Speaker 1: Find out when you can vote early in your state. Okay,
- 44:17Speaker 1: coming up next, the nephew is here with today's prank
- 44:20Speaker 1: phone call. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 44:23Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Right about four minutes after, it's my strawberry letter for today.
- 44:31Speaker 1: The subject her parents don't think I'm good enough. We'll
- 44:34Speaker 1: get into that later, but right now, the nephew is
- 44:37Speaker 1: here with today's prank phone call. What you got for us?
- 44:40Speaker 1: Nef divorce papers? Divorce really? No, I know it, quiet
- 44:49Speaker 1: bitter man, shut my eyes and feel them, Steve, before
- 45:01Speaker 1: I played this prank, do you know the voice papers
- 45:03Speaker 1: when you touch you. I'm just curious about hot Dog.
- 45:05Speaker 1: I've been served so many places. I've had him sent
- 45:11Speaker 1: to my apart man, I've had him sent I've had
- 45:14Speaker 1: him handed to me the Magic Show out in Vegas. Yeah,
- 45:19Speaker 1: I got served in Vegas. I didn't know that. Yeah,
- 45:22Speaker 1: I've been everything that. When he was singing Happy Birthday, Happy,
- 45:27Speaker 1: Happy Birthday, because you the voice papers, Happy Happy birthday.
- 45:32Speaker 1: That's a song go with all right, let's go the
- 45:37Speaker 1: voice papers, Let's go catch doc. Hello. Hello, I am
- 45:44Speaker 1: trying to reach A Jones. Please. My name is Attorney
- 45:47Speaker 1: Gudrey from the beach In Law firm, and she available.
- 45:51Speaker 1: How you doing, man? I'm actually trying to get some
- 45:54Speaker 1: business rectified, um, dealing with your divorce that took place,
- 45:57Speaker 1: I guess over the last seven whole it's my correct, correct,
- 46:01Speaker 1: I got some file up with your paperwork here. Now,
- 46:04Speaker 1: you guys had some property that you owned together, I
- 46:06Speaker 1: believe in Avondale, Am I correct? Correct? I'm looking at
- 46:10Speaker 1: your paperwork here, miss Jones. Okay, now we're getting down
- 46:15Speaker 1: to the property and that seems to be where the
- 46:17Speaker 1: problem lies is. In Avondale. You guys had some property
- 46:20Speaker 1: and you sold it as you both went and split
- 46:23Speaker 1: your ways. Right. Um, Looking at the paperwork that I
- 46:27Speaker 1: have here, it seems like it was filled out incorrectly.
- 46:30Speaker 1: I don't know how seven years has passed for this
- 46:33Speaker 1: to come back and fall on my desk to be
- 46:36Speaker 1: to get rectified. But um, whatever the dividends were that
- 46:40Speaker 1: you guys took and shared that you're now looking as
- 46:45Speaker 1: if you're owing mister Jones an additional eighteen thousand dollars. Ma'am,
- 46:53Speaker 1: I don't know. I hate to be the bearer of
- 46:55Speaker 1: bad news, but I wanted to bring this information to
- 46:57Speaker 1: you and see how we can get it rectified. I'm
- 47:00Speaker 1: not looking for you to have that much money available
- 47:03Speaker 1: at today, but I do know as a as an
- 47:06Speaker 1: attorney for mister Jones, I must say that we're trying
- 47:08Speaker 1: to get it taken care of as soon as possible.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Oh well, a minute, back this up. How do I
- 47:15Speaker 1: owe him eighteen thousand? Reason? Well, the paperwork here, ma'am,
- 47:20Speaker 1: seems to be orks say. It wasn't supposed to be
- 47:24Speaker 1: fifty percent, fifty percent between you and what you are.
- 47:27Speaker 1: It should have been seventy five twenty five. And he'd
- 47:29Speaker 1: been seventy five percent of the property owed to him
- 47:32Speaker 1: and twenty five percent. I don't know how you know
- 47:36Speaker 1: Louisa as a communitive practice, and how could he get
- 47:38Speaker 1: seventy five percent? And I get twenty five from my
- 47:42Speaker 1: understanding that he paid most of the bills when you
- 47:44Speaker 1: guys were living together, and I don't have anything to
- 47:47Speaker 1: do with that. No, he didn't pay most of the
- 47:50Speaker 1: bills I work and contribute to right, and I understand that.
- 47:53Speaker 1: But if I understand from what I have here on
- 47:55Speaker 1: the paperwork, and I understand that you had some contribution
- 47:58Speaker 1: to it, but it just seems like you did not
- 48:01Speaker 1: contribute as much as he did. And yes, and dude,
- 48:04Speaker 1: I never heard like this. I do apologize, man, but
- 48:08Speaker 1: what I do need you to do is definitely not
- 48:10Speaker 1: use that type of language while I'm on the phone. Okay, well, look,
- 48:13Speaker 1: I don't really have to talk to you because I
- 48:15Speaker 1: know I don't know. I don't Oh, no, Johns, no
- 48:18Speaker 1: eighteen thousand dollars. And he didn't overpay me because it
- 48:21Speaker 1: was communitive proper that I had two children for him
- 48:24Speaker 1: left with none yet everything And there's no way I'm
- 48:27Speaker 1: going to pay him no eighteen thousand dollars. Mam. I
- 48:29Speaker 1: hate to get a little up rough with you, but
- 48:31Speaker 1: you are going to pay this eighteen thousand dollars. Now,
- 48:34Speaker 1: that's going to happen. Now. If I have to garnish
- 48:37Speaker 1: your check and do it, then that's the way it
- 48:38Speaker 1: will have to be done. But the money will be
- 48:40Speaker 1: coming to mister Kirk Jones in the sum of eighteen
- 48:43Speaker 1: thousand call it back at Yeah. Look, don't you hang
- 48:48Speaker 1: up on me again. Now if I have to put
- 48:50Speaker 1: a lean on your property or put a lean on
- 48:51Speaker 1: your which one do you want? Look, and you don't
- 48:54Speaker 1: talk to me like that, I talk to you anyway
- 48:57Speaker 1: I want to talked about because once I want to
- 49:00Speaker 1: all that was over with. You're gonna pay eighteen thousand dollars.
- 49:04Speaker 1: That's what you're gonna do now. I don't want to
- 49:07Speaker 1: have to come to your house, ma'am to pick up
- 49:09Speaker 1: this money, but I will. I'm not working. I want
- 49:12Speaker 1: to know how school I have to pay him eighteen dollars. See,
- 49:15Speaker 1: you're not working. That's our problem from the start. That's
- 49:18Speaker 1: why it wasn't fifty fifty. That's why it was seventy
- 49:20Speaker 1: five twenty five because you were not holding. I work
- 49:23Speaker 1: off through the upstairs. That made twenty six years and
- 49:26Speaker 1: I worked. Well what is your butt doing? Now? Nothing? Well,
- 49:31Speaker 1: there we go. That seems to be the root of
- 49:32Speaker 1: our problem, isn't it. No, it hain't a ruling, no problem,
- 49:35Speaker 1: because I want to know how did Kirker get a
- 49:38Speaker 1: eighteen percent and wave that as a community property. He
- 49:42Speaker 1: has his long and I had my lays he agreed
- 49:44Speaker 1: to and I was dead, So I don't know how
- 49:46Speaker 1: I owe him eighteen thousand, ma'am. That's the way the
- 49:50Speaker 1: problem was. Evidently you didn't read the paperwork that you
- 49:53Speaker 1: signed when you and Kirk separated seven years ago. Now,
- 49:56Speaker 1: if you didn't read your paperwork correctly, this is why
- 49:58Speaker 1: it comes back to bite you and your Oh no,
- 50:00Speaker 1: it's not. Because I had a lawyer and he had, yes,
- 50:04Speaker 1: a lawyer. We agree with that that was back him forward,
- 50:07Speaker 1: and we agree with everything. He signed a paper and
- 50:10Speaker 1: I was dark. Well maybe you didn't have a lawyer
- 50:12Speaker 1: that was worth for damn who didn't read the bottom
- 50:14Speaker 1: of the paperwork himself. And I had a lawyer. Thought
- 50:17Speaker 1: I had a good lawyer that and I understand that. Man,
- 50:20Speaker 1: when that happens a lot of a lot of time,
- 50:22Speaker 1: I can't believe that. And I had two children struggle
- 50:26Speaker 1: with him, and we got what we got by both
- 50:28Speaker 1: of us work, and this he gonna come back and an,
- 50:31Speaker 1: oh no, I'm gonna fight this. When can we expect
- 50:35Speaker 1: the payment starting to work on this eighteen thousand? I
- 50:38Speaker 1: don't know, Well, I mean, I'm gonna have to get
- 50:40Speaker 1: a date or something where I can start getting five
- 50:43Speaker 1: hundred dollars from you per month or something like that. Yes,
- 50:46Speaker 1: five hundred of a month. I haven't worked. I was working,
- 50:49Speaker 1: and when you want to set it, I don't think
- 50:52Speaker 1: I should have to tell tell you all this because
- 50:54Speaker 1: I need to get talked to me a lawyer, because
- 50:56Speaker 1: I'm not agreeing to anything, because I don't think that. No,
- 51:00Speaker 1: it's not fair. I'll tell you give me a dead
- 51:03Speaker 1: night because I'm gonna have to get me a lawyer,
- 51:05Speaker 1: isn't it. I'm trying to keep my compos as an attorney, ma'am?
- 51:10Speaker 1: How do you have the writer? And I don't have
- 51:12Speaker 1: no faith? So over there you are? You have you remarried? No,
- 51:16Speaker 1: I haven't. Okay, you realize if I don't get the money,
- 51:20Speaker 1: then I don't get paid. Right Listen, I'm gonna be
- 51:23Speaker 1: down in your area probably on Wednesday. Do you think
- 51:27Speaker 1: you and I can get together and probably talk about this?
- 51:29Speaker 1: Because I want to help you as much as I can. Yeah,
- 51:32Speaker 1: because I don't think it's fair to me Wednesday wed
- 51:35Speaker 1: I'm not I could be there. Well you think that maybe, yeah,
- 51:39Speaker 1: you and I can get together maybe and work something. Man, Yeah,
- 51:42Speaker 1: because I know I'm not. I mean I cannot afford
- 51:45Speaker 1: to pick Johnson or eighteen hundred, you know, took the
- 51:48Speaker 1: house from it for little or nothing. And I'll tell
- 51:50Speaker 1: you what, I'll tell you what. I'll do this. I won't.
- 51:53Speaker 1: I won't tell mister Jones anything but only on one condition.
- 51:57Speaker 1: That's me, and you've been able to work this thing
- 51:59Speaker 1: out behind club dues. What you mean work it out?
- 52:01Speaker 1: I mean work out? What do you mean? What do
- 52:04Speaker 1: you think I mean? I don't know. Tell me, well,
- 52:08Speaker 1: maybe you know I'm dumb, some relations or something. Why
- 52:12Speaker 1: would you want a relationship with me? That relationship but
- 52:17Speaker 1: just you know, maybe kind of kicking take care you away.
- 52:22Speaker 1: I'm dumb, I don't know. I don't know nothing about life.
- 52:26Speaker 1: I think you know a whole line about line. But
- 52:29Speaker 1: why it is you mess with me? I just want
- 52:31Speaker 1: to see if we can maybe get together. I'll throw
- 52:33Speaker 1: all the paperwork out and I let no, it's not possible,
- 52:36Speaker 1: but you meet me Wednesday. I make this thing go away.
- 52:41Speaker 1: I don't believe. I'll tell you what else. You ain't
- 52:44Speaker 1: gonna believe what this is? Nephew Timming from the Steve
- 52:47Speaker 1: Harvey more than show you just got pranked by your
- 52:50Speaker 1: sister Janis. You know good? I got Janis on the phone,
- 53:00Speaker 1: I got her grand baby on the phone, and you
- 53:05Speaker 1: just got by the whole family. Yea, A sharp left
- 53:22Speaker 1: turn to see it? Come? What do you mean? King
- 53:33Speaker 1: of pranks? King of pranks? Way too much? Coming up next,

- 54:49Speaker 1: is straw up Eberry letter. Thank enough you subject her
- 54:53Speaker 1: parents don't think I'm good enough. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 54:57Speaker 1: a thirty year old man dating a twenty five year
- 54:59Speaker 1: old woman. We've been together for four months and things
- 55:02Speaker 1: just got ugly between us. She moved to the US
- 55:05Speaker 1: three years ago and her parents live in Africa. She
- 55:08Speaker 1: came to the States by herself to attend college, and
- 55:11Speaker 1: she's done quite well for herself. She's not like the
- 55:14Speaker 1: average twenty five year old. She does not drink, smoke, curse,
- 55:18Speaker 1: or party, and she only listens to Christian music. She
- 55:22Speaker 1: is gorgeous and way out of my league, so I'm
- 55:26Speaker 1: very lucky to have her. I've been honest with her
- 55:29Speaker 1: about my past and the bad choices I've made in women,
- 55:32Speaker 1: not finishing college, and my career goals. I'm no longer
- 55:35Speaker 1: partying and smoking weed, but I still drink sometimes. My
- 55:39Speaker 1: career is just taking off, so I'm not as financially
- 55:43Speaker 1: stable as I would like to be. She's very close
- 55:46Speaker 1: to her parents and she tells them everything. When she
- 55:50Speaker 1: told them about me, she said, they immediately decided I'm
- 55:54Speaker 1: not good enough for her. That had been bothering me
- 55:57Speaker 1: so recently. When she was facetiming with her parents, I
- 56:00Speaker 1: told her I'd like to say hello to them. I
- 56:02Speaker 1: leaned in to say hi, and her dad started frowning
- 56:06Speaker 1: and he did not speak back. Instead, he told me
- 56:09Speaker 1: that he's disappointed and how I chose to present myself
- 56:12Speaker 1: to him and his wife for the first time. He said,
- 56:15Speaker 1: it's obvious that I make bad decisions a lot, so
- 56:19Speaker 1: he did not want me dating his daughter. After the call,
- 56:23Speaker 1: she cried and said she cannot go against her parents' wishes,
- 56:27Speaker 1: so we could only be friends. She asked if I
- 56:30Speaker 1: could be patient until she can change her parents' minds.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Should I remain friendly with her and see what happens,
- 56:38Speaker 1: or should I respect her parents' wishes. Well, honestly, I
- 56:42Speaker 1: think the decision has already been made. I mean, she's
- 56:45Speaker 1: not going against her parents' wishes, So say hello to
- 56:48Speaker 1: your little friend right now. That's what she is right now.
- 56:51Speaker 1: You guys can only be friends, But I do like
- 56:54Speaker 1: the fact that you know she's out of your league
- 56:58Speaker 1: and that you're very lucky to have her. It depends
- 57:01Speaker 1: on what you do with her, you know, and how
- 57:04Speaker 1: you handle this situation from here on out. There's an
- 57:08Speaker 1: obviously something she likes about you, or she wouldn't have
- 57:11Speaker 1: gotten with you in the first place. I mean, you
- 57:13Speaker 1: guys have only been together for four months. But you
- 57:16Speaker 1: know there's culturally a difference here. You know, this doesn't
- 57:20Speaker 1: work for her parents. You know, your background, the choices,
- 57:23Speaker 1: all of that. They're very much a part of her decisions. Yes,
- 57:28Speaker 1: she's grown, she's twenty five, but you're not just dating her.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Her family has a say and she's listening to them.
- 57:36Speaker 1: I mean, you know, you got to say about every parent.
- 57:40Speaker 1: This about every parent. They always want the best for
- 57:43Speaker 1: their kids, and no one on the planet is good
- 57:46Speaker 1: enough for their children. That's just how it is. She's
- 57:48Speaker 1: their baby girl. They have high expectations and you have
- 57:52Speaker 1: to respect that. You say, your career is just taking off.
- 57:55Speaker 1: You don't make as much money as you'd like to. Okay,
- 57:57Speaker 1: that's fair, that can be changed. The question is are
- 58:01Speaker 1: you willing to get where you need to be for
- 58:03Speaker 1: this relationship? Because her parents aren't going anywhere. First impressions are,
- 58:09Speaker 1: you know, very important. Now you're going to have to
- 58:11Speaker 1: do something about that because he didn't like the way
- 58:13Speaker 1: you presented yourself on the computer, waving in from behind.
- 58:17Speaker 1: If you really want this young lady, you're going to
- 58:19Speaker 1: have to impress her parents. So what does that mean.
- 58:22Speaker 1: It means you're gonna have to work really hard to
- 58:24Speaker 1: turn your life around in their eyes. If you want her,
- 58:28Speaker 1: you know, you could take that as a challenge. What
- 58:31Speaker 1: her dad said, you're not being good enough, and from
- 58:34Speaker 1: now on, no more talking and waving to them from
- 58:36Speaker 1: behind on the computer. You have to, if it's possible,
- 58:40Speaker 1: win them over by showing them they were wrong about you, Steve, Well, bro,
- 58:51Speaker 1: here we go. Her parents don't think I'm good enough,
- 58:56Speaker 1: Dear Steve. Surely you're thirty dating this twenty five year old.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Y'all been together four months, and after four months you
- 59:08Speaker 1: say things got ugly between us. Now. She moved to
- 59:12Speaker 1: the States three years ago. Her parents live in Africa,
- 59:15Speaker 1: which means she's from Africa. She came to the States
- 59:19Speaker 1: by herself with the college, and she's done quite well
- 59:22Speaker 1: for herself. She's mature for her age. You say she
- 59:26Speaker 1: doesn't drink, smoke, curse, or party, and she only listened
- 59:30Speaker 1: to Christian music. She's gorgeous and way out of my league.
- 59:36Speaker 1: So I'm very lucky to have her. Now here's the
- 59:40Speaker 1: problem with this line. Right here, most men you want
- 59:44Speaker 1: to date up. So I don't have a problem with
- 59:47Speaker 1: the line. The problem I have is, Oh, I'm gonna
- 59:53Speaker 1: get back to that. Let me say this first. I've
- 59:56Speaker 1: been honest with her about your pass and bad choices
- 59:59Speaker 1: you made in women. You ain't finished college, your career goals. Now,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: you ain't party in smoking weed, but I still drank sometimes.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: My career is just talked taking off. Now, with all
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: that said, the bad choices, all this here, your past,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: is she lucky to have you? That's the problem with
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: this whole damn letter? Not according to her dad. All right, Steve,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: hang on, we'll get part two of your response coming
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. My Strawberry
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: letter for today, the subject her parents don't think I'm
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: good enough. We'll get back into it right after this
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: you're listening show, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Subject her parents don't think I'm good enough, thirty old
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: man dating this beautiful twenty five year old African queen
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: that came over here, did real well with education. She
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: don't party, smoke, drink because she just listened to Christian music.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: The guy says, man way out of the league. You know,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: he lucky to have her, but due to his past mistakes,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: he'd been real honest with her, the choice and women
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: he made, not finishing college. Ain't I'm telling what else
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: he leaving out this letter? But he didn't went down
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: a list of stuff. And you know, you're lucky to
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: have him. But with all this stuff that you said,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I still drank sometime. My career is just taken off.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Is she lucky to have you? And what career is
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: taken off? You know? So that's the question. So my
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: question is how did you get her in the first place?
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: What did you say? See somewhere in the intro before
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: you got to the what all is wrong? You didn't
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: tell that because that ain't how you get to check.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: That's out your league. You don't open the game up
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: with what's wrong with you? You told a series of
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: lives and left out a series of key parts of information.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Ain't no way in the world. You say, hey, look,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I made some mistakes out of here and a lot
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: of women. I'm dropped out of college out of failed misery.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: You sell a little weed and now you know I'm
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: trying to get my life on track. But man, who
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: you being a Christian all be the perfect thing to
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: help me get it and get it on track. You
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, that's not what you said.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: So you said something to her to get it going.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I'm not as financially stable as I'd like to be.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: That mean, you ain't got your money right, and I
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: understand that you want to come up with you thirty.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: She's very close to her parents and she tells them everything.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: So when she told them about you, they immediately decided
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: that you're not good enough for her. I mean, if
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: you read the letter, it says that it clearly says
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: you're not good enough for her. That's what he says. Well,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: it's not that you're not good enough, it's that they
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: don't think you right for her, and they don't think
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: you're deserving of her. Like Shirley said, everybody wants the
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: best for their children. So you know they told you that, Dan,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you ain't good enough. They told her you're not good
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: enough for so that count was bothering you. So she
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: was facetiming her parents. You told her you want to
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: say hello to him, so I leaned in to say hi. Oh.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Now her dad started frowning and he didn't even speak back. Instead,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: he told me he's disappointed, and how I chose to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: present himself to him and his wife for the first time?
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Absolutely correct. See, y'all, young ass people live in this
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: little silly ass FaceTime age. You think everything can happen
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: like that. Old school people ain't with that man. They
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: got protocol, they got rules. And because you don't know,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: your little face to head everybody, it's me wrong, me wrong. Yeah,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: we had some clothing stuff on. You know, you got
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: no shirt on, change right, brade something? You know? And
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: you know. So he told me he was disappointed. How
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: chold presenting himself to his wife. He said, it is
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: obvious that you've made some bad decisions a lot, because
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: now your girlfriend had told him you had a lot
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: of women. You know, you dropped out of college. Everything,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: you ain't got your money right, you ain't financial stable. Everything,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: you know, got a record? What did her father say
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: when he told her, when she told him all that
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: they hell, are you with his? Nothing as fault? Your
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: accent the same thing I've had to say, the exact
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: same in your accent? Why are you with him? Thank
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: you is here? It's not for you. There's nothing who
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: coach to college? You know? Finish lots of women? These
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: not hell in a matter because they don't even allow
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: for lots of women. After the call, she cried and
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: says she can't go against her parents' wishes, so we
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: could only be friends. That's the way they were raised.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: She listened to Christian music. They have values in their family,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: so she says she can't go against say wishes. She can't.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: That's the way their family was raised. That's her father,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: So we could only be friends. She asked if I
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: would be patient until she can change her parents' minds.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: So should I remain friendly with her and see what happens?
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Or should I respect her parents wishes? All up? Dog,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: ain't it ain't her parents wishes, it's her wishes. She
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: says she can't go against her parents wishes. This decision
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: she makes, she's saying, I'm gonna see you in spite
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: of she don't want to see you until she can
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: get her parents to come around. The decision you have
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: to make is are you gonna stay friendly with them now?
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: You in it for the long haul or you was
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: in it just for something to happen real quick. That's all.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: This is a question about man. You ain't gonna get
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: another one like this. I'd hang it in and see
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: what can happen. But in the meantime, though, I would
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: get myself together. First thing you need to do is
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: apologize to her father. You're absolutely correct. I wasn't thinking certain,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: but I will respect your wishes and stand back, and
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna get myself together and come back to you
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: and show you the man that I am. You could
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: try back, that's right, Still less the man you're gonna
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: be in talk all right? Thank you. Post your comments
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: on today's Struwberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey FM on Instagram
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: and Facebook, and don't forget to check out the Struwberry
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Letter podcast on demand coming up at forty six minutes

- 1:07:04Speaker 1: you're listening show? All right? Junior is here. We gotta

- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Come on up, Junior. No, don't cheer me up up.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: The team need to win, Davy. If you're gonna cheer
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: anybody see the Houston Texas team, yeah, who strolls all? Yeah?
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: I mean, I'm gonna just put this plea out here
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: right now. We're looking for a coach who can count.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: If there's any coaches can get to eight, we would
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: like to offer you a job. If you a little
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: pop war a football coach and you gotta win a record,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: we'll take you if you if you coach soccer, chess team, anything,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: but you win in you can count. You got a
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: job in Houston. If you understand numbers of people who
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: are beating, you're like, somebody win the number twenty two
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: follow if you not have just followed twenty two. If
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: you can say that, you can get a job in Use. Yeah.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: No one understands what you're talking frombout the Houston Texas
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: lost by eight. Okay, we lost. We just need a
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: coach who can count to eight. Vegan, we can win
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: because he don't different. He don't understand the different I
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: just just letting people know. But in the other news
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: in sports. Somebody who actually won, somebody who won. There's
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: a new lightweight boxing champion of the world, twenty three
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: year old to female. Lopez beat for sitting LoVa Chenko
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: in a twelve round fright at the MGM in Los Vegan.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: I know you saw it on sadad Oh yeah, I
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: saw it and won money. Man. Yeah, somebody wants something.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Take y'all. Don't talk to me, man, I'm gonna well,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: let's take a listen to Lottle Pears after the fight
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: saying that everybody wants to be like Mayweather. To take
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: a list of everyone wants to be like Mayweather. In
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: order to be like Mayweather, you gotta be like pretty boy. First.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: You gotta fight those guys that they don't think that
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: you'll win. You gotta fight the likes of those guys
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: that are undefeated and it's a good fight in order
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: to make those type of millions that people want to make.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Why are you buying so many chains and all this
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: at an early age. You're not making nothing. You're not
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: making not a dollar. So I mean, I'm just thankful
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: that I'm able to be the first one to do
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: that and push for the for the young ones out there.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: All right, Okay, okay, that's a smart bro. What you
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: buying all these chains for hunt? We won't make the
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: five thousand for the fight? What wisdom? Yeah? Now I'm
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: just saying, you know, they you know, ain't making the
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: money and you ain't getting no twenty million dollars for
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: the fight. Now now he's a champ. Now I was changing. Well,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: this would have been. This would have ranked up there
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: with Fury Wild in terms of attendance. Oh, this was
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: gonna be. Yeah, that's how fight was. Thank you, Junior.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, get ready

- 1:12:09Speaker 1: trying to go to heaven. Why would I kill somebody?
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: I try to go to head? What I would do that? Fuck?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: What I would do that? Fat things people say when
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: they caught it allowed first for the eight Okay, yeah,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: I shot him, but see I thought this was a
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: water gun. I ain't know it was a real gun.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Brings a water gun. It was water. I'm just all right,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: come on, Steve. Things people say when they're caught in

- 1:13:17Speaker 1: damn so it was. Then it gave me me and
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: then it was them. First things people saying, when you
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: call it a line first forty eight okay, we yeah,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: we stole the money we stole, but we stole it
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: for the church. We're trying to help the church because
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: the church needed. So you see what I'm saying. This
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: All this was for a purpose. You're saying it's the prince,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: it's the principality or whatever. You know. That's all I said, right,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: it's the reason for it, all right, Steve. Things people
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: say when caught in the lie on first forty eight

- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, and some trending news coming up at
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, what's going on?
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: President Trump is on the campaign trail. There are only
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: fifteen days left until the election. And while in Michigan,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: he lashed out at the Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer as
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: a crowd channit lock her up, reminiscent of twenty sixteen
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: when he was referring to Hillary Clinton locking her up. Yeah,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: we all remember that the governor of Michigan was a
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: target in a foiled kidnapping plot. Right, well, Governor Whitmer
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: tweeted yesterday the President Trump is fanning the flames of
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: domestic terrorism. And also, did anyone see the Democratic Georgia
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: state representative Vernon Jones at a Trump rally in Macon, Georgia?
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Saw him? Okay? Well yeah, yeah, he was crowdsurfing without
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: wearing a mask. Now, according to the Daily Mail, representative
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Vernon Jones dove into the crowd like he was at
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: a concert or something and was being passed over the
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: heads of those in the crowd. And you know, Trump
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: crowds don't wear masks giving thumbs up. Yeah, but the
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: crazy part is Jones is right, yeah, yeah, he's not
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: a small man. Uh, big dude. Yeah he's a Trump supporter. Okay, yeah,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: you don't get your bag ass off from me. So,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: I mean, he's not a small man. But as soon
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: as this is over, they're gonna throw his ass out
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: the window. As soon as this is over with right
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: in the flow, right in the damn what do you mean, Jack,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Just like they did in Braveheart. Remember they do the
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: dude that the wind in Braveheart. Yeah, I don't know
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: him right now. I've never seen a politician do that.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't. I don't know why some
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: black people think that they're just completely accept it. I
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: promise you you're not. Yeah, they didn't completely accept Luther
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: Michael Jordans. I don't know how you, as a politician
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: at a Trump rally jump your dog ass in a
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: crowd and everybody cool and it here comes. I hope
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I don't passing over this way. I swear to God,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: I ain't touching it. Exactly what it looked like, I mean,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: no matter. I mean, how do you get caught up
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: where you're gonna play a game of catch the inn word? What? Really? Oh?
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: He did not? That's what that somebody who came up
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: with this game passion Overlea wasn't let me touch you.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: I ain't never catch let me touch you. I ain't
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: coming up into our last break of the day. It
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: is the last break of the day, brought to you
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: by yours truly. You have been listening to the last
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: break of the day. And of course we'll have some
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey at
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour right after this best
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: did not make it sense. That's mamma, you're listening show
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: all right. Before we get to everything, I gotta say
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: once again, Happy birthday to my beautiful baby, Sheridan. Sheridan
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: is twenty four years old today. Happy birthday. She's no
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: longer a baby. I know, girls, little baby. Uh huh
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: huh twenty four, twenty four huh she grown? Yeah, she's
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: good and grown. Yep. All right. Well, with only fifteen
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: days left until the November third election, please go to
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: vote dot org. Yeah, I know. Please go to vote
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: dot org and vote early. Please do that, find the locations,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: all of that. You still have time to vote before
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: the November third election. But vote early. Let them know
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: you mean business, right, Steve, Yeah, you know I think
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: I think we're onto something this year from what I
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: can see, because I've never seen the involvement that I
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: have with this election. It's much bigger than last last election.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: With Trump versus Hillary, I think the turnout is going
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: to be much bigger. I am concerned with the silent minority.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: The silent majority is what they call themselves, because there
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: are so many Trump lovers and supporters who are silent
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: about it. Because this country has a sickness called racism
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: in it. And even though there are millions of people
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: who are trying very hard to do something about it,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: on all sides of the color spectrum, on all sides
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: of the religious spectrum, on all sides of the ginger spectrum,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: it does a lot of people, doesn't matter colors, really
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: trying to do something about this issue, the social injustice
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: that's been happening to people of color for so long.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: With that said, there are a lot that is a large,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: large group of people who want things to remain the same.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: There is a large group of people who want things
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: to go back to the way they once were, which
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: is the whole idea behind make America great Again, which
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: is the sickening part of it. See, I don't mind
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: people being Democrats or I don't mind people being Republicans.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: I think there's good ideas on both sides. I think
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: there's good people on both sides, as long as we're
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: not talking about a hate group of some kind. You
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: can have good Republicans and you can have very good Democrats.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: It happens that way. The problem I have with the
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Republicans is the party that you hold so dear, it's
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: represented by the worst kind of representative. This man that
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: holds the highest office in the land is unfit to
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: be president. And you know it. You know it. You
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: know he is not of the moral fiber that you
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: would like to see as the president of the United States.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: You know he is not of the intellect that you
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: would like to see in the president of the United States.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: You know he doesn't hold the moral values that you
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: would like to see in the president of the United
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: State States. And I really do believe that. You know it.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: But is it because that he represents your power, your position,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: and your money that you are willing to forego all
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: of the above and reelect him Trump? I mean, really, man, really,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: that's what's hard for me to believe it's not that
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: they are not good Republicans, because there are lots of them,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: But you can't tell me that this is who you
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: really think is representative of you. Now. On the other hand,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: there are a large number of people who are just
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: like him, exactly like him, and worse, and they're overjoyed
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: with the fact the Proud Boys, white supremacist groups, these militias,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: these people with these kidnapping plots for the governor of
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Michigan and so forth and so on it and these uh,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: this hute cult thing that they got going on, and
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: it's just so much. It's just can't reminiscent of the
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Tea Party and worse. But all of a sudden, as
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: him him as the president, all of them have stepped
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: forward like they got a buddy and a friend in
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: the White House. That don't bother you if you're a
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: Republican and you're not a racist. The fact that he
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: won't denounce white supremacists and he won't denounce racism, that
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: don't bother you. That's the part that's troubling to me.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: I got that there's going to be tens of millions
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: of people in this country that's just like Donald Trump
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: I got it. I got it. You ain't going away,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: You're not gonna change, I got it. But now for
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: those of you who are not willing to sit by
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: and let him be the representative of your party, For
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: those of you who voted for him last time and
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: have set that for four years and when I can't
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: believe this guy didn't rise to the occasion. For those
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: of you who decided to sit out last time because
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: you said your vote didn't come, we need all of
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: y'all at the polls. We need all of you at
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: the polls, man, because this has to stop. And in
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: less than fifteen days we can stop it. We can
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: put a stop to this serious cancer that's been sitting
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: in the White House this entire time. This is sickening, man,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: what he's been allowed to do, perpetrate, pull off and
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: say as a president of the United States. I just
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: don't believe that we need him to be there. And
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: I'm asking everybody who can vote to get out and vote,
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: make vote count, and send a message to him to
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: black lives do matter. It matters so much that got
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: you out of office. That's why I'm voting. Because he
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: don't think black lives and I'm going down to prove
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: to Please vote for all Steve Harvey contests. No purchase necessary,
