- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back that it? Uh huh, I
- 2:01Speaker 1: shall will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: Man got a radio show. Wow man, how good has
- 2:12Speaker 1: God been to me? You know? Today? Let me get
- 2:15Speaker 1: right to it because I'm I'm kind of feeling this today,
- 2:18Speaker 1: and I'm pretty sure that's just quite a few of
- 2:21Speaker 1: you who go through the same things today. Today was
- 2:26Speaker 1: just a little tough morning for me because I didn't
- 2:29Speaker 1: want to leave home yesterday. You don't want to stay
- 2:32Speaker 1: home a little I just gotten home, you know, I
- 2:34Speaker 1: gotta go again. And sometimes, you know, just the weight
- 2:38Speaker 1: of all that you have to do just gets on
- 2:41Speaker 1: you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel like doing it today. Huh.
- 2:47Speaker 1: You know, I'm just talking to those who feel this
- 2:50Speaker 1: way every now and then, And I'm assuming that would
- 2:53Speaker 1: be everybody, because I don't know nobody who can just
- 2:56Speaker 1: ply through this thing without having those days. Well, what
- 2:59Speaker 1: do you do when it gets hard to stay up?
- 3:04Speaker 1: What do you do when it gets hard to be positive?
- 3:08Speaker 1: What do you do when it seems like things aren't
- 3:11Speaker 1: happening for you fast enough or in the time frame
- 3:15Speaker 1: that you thought it was going. What do you do?
- 3:18Speaker 1: And the reason that I guess I chose to speak
- 3:21Speaker 1: about this this morning is because I'm having one of
- 3:23Speaker 1: those days. Because I had one of those days yesterday.
- 3:27Speaker 1: It's just a tough day. I really can't explain. It's
- 3:29Speaker 1: nothing really in particular bad happened. It's just I think
- 3:36Speaker 1: the weight of all that's going on started to feel
- 3:42Speaker 1: heavy to me. And so what do you do when
- 3:47Speaker 1: you when you have days like that, when it's hard
- 3:49Speaker 1: to be positive, when it's hard to stay up? Okay,
- 3:52Speaker 1: here's what I had to start doing this morning. Now
- 3:55Speaker 1: I haven't completed it. Can I just be real with you.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I haven't complete did it? But I am processing it
- 4:03Speaker 1: out because I know what to do. You know, been there,
- 4:06Speaker 1: done that. I didn't have that pain before I know
- 4:08Speaker 1: what to do. You know, if I sprain my finger,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I know what to do. Now. You know the first
- 4:12Speaker 1: sprain I had, O Lord, I thought it was broke.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I thought I gotta be handac half. But now if
- 4:17Speaker 1: I spray my finger, I know what to do. So
- 4:19Speaker 1: since I've been in this position, in this hole so
- 4:22Speaker 1: many times before, and God has always gotten me through it,
- 4:25Speaker 1: I decided I've got to start the process today. Want
- 4:29Speaker 1: to hear are some things Now I'm gonna get to
- 4:33Speaker 1: the big one last. And one of the things I
- 4:36Speaker 1: do is I remember the plan, sit down, and I
- 4:41Speaker 1: consciously think about the goals I've set. I go over see.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I've got mine down on an iPad so I can
- 4:49Speaker 1: pull them out anywhere I am and pull them up.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And I've got two lists that I've made. I've got
- 4:54Speaker 1: a list of things that I know I can accomplish
- 4:57Speaker 1: if I just keep working hard, and if some couple
- 5:01Speaker 1: of things just fall into place that I can see.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Then I got a list of things that I'm planning
- 5:06Speaker 1: on accomplishing. And then I have a second list. And
- 5:10Speaker 1: the heading of this list is called only God can
- 5:14Speaker 1: help me Now. And on this list, it's things that
- 5:17Speaker 1: I'm aspiring for or things that I'm hoping to that
- 5:21Speaker 1: in order for them to happen, I absolutely have to
- 5:26Speaker 1: have God's help. That's my favorite list. It's the list
- 5:32Speaker 1: that I have of the things that I don't see
- 5:35Speaker 1: no way it can happen. I'm just operating on faith
- 5:40Speaker 1: and the hope that God hear me, and so sometimes, man,
- 5:45Speaker 1: when you gotta when I have this list of who
- 5:48Speaker 1: only God can help me, now that list is stuff
- 5:51Speaker 1: that I cannot see. I'm just operating on faith that
- 5:56Speaker 1: God is so much bigger than me, that he's so
- 5:59Speaker 1: much more capable, bold than I am, that I can
- 6:02Speaker 1: actually acquire some things in my life, as he's proven
- 6:05Speaker 1: to me time and time again up to this point,
- 6:07Speaker 1: that He's willing to do for me. If I'm willing
- 6:10Speaker 1: to just give him some of my life. That's the
- 6:12Speaker 1: only why I can't explain my existence today. You know,
- 6:16Speaker 1: I began the conversation with my wife, how do I
- 6:20Speaker 1: write a book that becomes so wildly successful? That would
- 6:24Speaker 1: be God. That's only God. Because if you can plan
- 6:28Speaker 1: to sit down and write a wildly successful book, I'd
- 6:31Speaker 1: have Benden sat down and did it, and so would
- 6:33Speaker 1: you so that would be God. How it got purchased
- 6:38Speaker 1: to become a movie when that was not my intent
- 6:41Speaker 1: when I wrote the book at all. Again, that would
- 6:44Speaker 1: be God. Right, there has to be, because if I
- 6:48Speaker 1: can't explain it and it is by no doing of
- 6:51Speaker 1: my own, then who did it? So when I get
- 6:54Speaker 1: down in days like this, I remember the goal, I
- 6:58Speaker 1: remember the plan. I remember, but the journey I think about,
- 7:01Speaker 1: of all the things God has bought me to how
- 7:03Speaker 1: did I even get to this point? Yeah? I might
- 7:06Speaker 1: be having a little bummer of a day. Yeah I
- 7:08Speaker 1: was a little down yesterday. Yeah, my bio rhythms is off,
- 7:11Speaker 1: whatever they want to call it. Yeah, I'm just having
- 7:14Speaker 1: one of those days. I feel a little bit heavy.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I need a vacation real bad. I need some time
- 7:19Speaker 1: off to just go and regenerate. But right now, man,
- 7:22Speaker 1: I ain't got that. So guess what I do. I
- 7:24Speaker 1: gotta start remembering the plan. I gotta start remembering the goals.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I gotta start thinking about all the things that God
- 7:31Speaker 1: has done for me and how He has bought me
- 7:33Speaker 1: this far and the blessings that I have instead of
- 7:36Speaker 1: what I don't have. And that's what I'm in the
- 7:38Speaker 1: process of doing this morning, and on the commercial breaks,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna pull out my iPad and I'm gonna go
- 7:43Speaker 1: over my two lists, and I'm gonna read my little
- 7:45Speaker 1: list of what I think I can accomplish, and I'm
- 7:48Speaker 1: gonna really read that only God can help Me now list,
- 7:51Speaker 1: because that's the list that's big. That's the part where
- 7:53Speaker 1: I've been telling y'all, I said, quit telling God how
- 7:57Speaker 1: big your problems are, and start telling your problems how
- 8:00Speaker 1: big your God is. See. And that's why I got
- 8:03Speaker 1: to sit down and do this morning. And then sometimes, man,
- 8:06Speaker 1: you got to stay still. That's the other part. You
- 8:10Speaker 1: got to stay still. You gotta quit moving for a second,
- 8:15Speaker 1: because sometimes it feel like you're running on a treadmill
- 8:19Speaker 1: and you really ain't you going somewhere, but it feel
- 8:21Speaker 1: like you're running on a treadmill. Well, when you get
- 8:24Speaker 1: that feeling, sometimes you got to stay still. And then
- 8:28Speaker 1: when you stay still, sometimes you gotta fight to stay positive.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta fight not to let the devil win.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You're in a fight, mam. I told you this. Now
- 8:36Speaker 1: you're in a fight now, So trying to get you
- 8:38Speaker 1: to get on that positive train so he can get
- 8:41Speaker 1: you off the faith train. So God's delivery package that's
- 8:44Speaker 1: coming to you built on your faith that you can.
- 8:46Speaker 1: He can shake your faith and get you to thinking
- 8:48Speaker 1: negative and then he wins. See. So when you start
- 8:51Speaker 1: feeling negative, just know that that's the other force trying
- 8:54Speaker 1: to throw you off track. And when you get through
- 8:56Speaker 1: it all that He is the key, the big one.
- 8:58Speaker 1: You want me tell it to you. You got to pray, man,
- 9:01Speaker 1: You got to pray. You gotta take it to God.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You gotta say, Hey, God, look I'm having one of
- 9:06Speaker 1: these days. I need your help. I got business to
- 9:09Speaker 1: take care of. You got blessings in front of me.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You got stuff you to ship to me. You got
- 9:13Speaker 1: blessings and packages that's on the way. I need to
- 9:15Speaker 1: be sitting on Faith streets so I can receive the
- 9:18Speaker 1: delivery when you get there. What I don't want to
- 9:20Speaker 1: do is be it on be on doubted Way or
- 9:24Speaker 1: or lack of Understanding Parkway, or Pity Parkway or some
- 9:29Speaker 1: street like that, and the package keep going by. I
- 9:32Speaker 1: need to be standing and sitting on Faith Street so
- 9:35Speaker 1: when you drop that package down to me, I can
- 9:38Speaker 1: go on and get it. You feel me, You got
- 9:40Speaker 1: to pray, you got to stay still. You gotta fight,
- 9:43Speaker 1: to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan. You gotta
- 9:46Speaker 1: go over the goals. Come on, man, God and brought
- 9:49Speaker 1: you too far, Come on, pick yourself up today. I'm
- 9:52Speaker 1: talking to Steve Harvey this morning. Hope y'all didn't mind
- 9:55Speaker 1: you're listening. Good morning everybody. You're about to listen to

- 12:28Speaker 1: know when that hit, but it took over, didn't it

- 12:37Speaker 1: is precious. I love precious, hay fresh, hay fresh. No,

- 13:29Speaker 1: Oon is smuggling Mercedes bens Limos into North Korea, and
- 13:35Speaker 1: the ladies are gonna ask Jay, Tommy and Junior random
- 13:38Speaker 1: fun questions for something funny. All right, that's coming up
- 13:40Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:45Speaker 1: So before we get to ask Jay, Tommy and Junior, Carla,
- 13:49Speaker 1: I'm loving this quickly in trending international news and Mercedes
- 13:53Speaker 1: Ben's limos seen chauffeuring around North Korean leader Kim Jong
- 13:57Speaker 1: oon uh this year have stumped outsiders over how the
- 14:02Speaker 1: sanctions hit regime obtained the luxury rides. Okay, yeah, how
- 14:07Speaker 1: do you get Yeah, the researchers now believe Jay, they
- 14:12Speaker 1: have figured out the Kim's smuggling secret. All right. It
- 14:17Speaker 1: takes three cargo jets about four months and five countries.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Mister Kim was spotted for the first time in a
- 14:25Speaker 1: modified Mercedes may Box five six hundred. Yeah, believe to
- 14:32Speaker 1: be bulletproof head of state cars costing more than take
- 14:36Speaker 1: a guess, yes, Jay, on the money half a million
- 14:42Speaker 1: dollars each each. Oh, Kim, So how do you feel
- 14:47Speaker 1: about that? Mister Kim? John h E one think that
- 14:50Speaker 1: I have a cargo come in, But no, that's not
- 14:53Speaker 1: how you get a cut in. Put it each a
- 14:57Speaker 1: piece in a pencil league SoC leg. It's a white,
- 15:00Speaker 1: so white. So put the motor in the pants leg,
- 15:04Speaker 1: put it back to seat in the pan's leg, and
- 15:06Speaker 1: then put seats in the in the jacket. And so
- 15:09Speaker 1: take a one trip and walk so walk on real
- 15:12Speaker 1: so walker right across and come in and then go
- 15:15Speaker 1: back get another part. And then five months later you
- 15:19Speaker 1: got a hole. The take about about seat seven boy
- 15:23Speaker 1: white boy nine bout twelve months get a call you
- 15:28Speaker 1: you didn't get it. You gotta put head whites in
- 15:31Speaker 1: the pocket, put hair whites in the back pocket headlights
- 15:34Speaker 1: what Yeah, that's why I say head whites. Put heir
- 15:36Speaker 1: whites headed lights. Yeah, you know, so you can't see
- 15:40Speaker 1: when dry head whites, we turn a white on, you
- 15:46Speaker 1: know lights shina white sin white, you know white. Yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna be so much. Yeah. Oh, nobody can do
- 16:02Speaker 1: anything to me because I have cancers. What's gonna happen
- 16:08Speaker 1: to the people who've done the research and found out
- 16:10Speaker 1: what you're doing? That's the question. What's gonna happen to that? Okay,
- 16:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry? Oh man, all right, well, thank you for
- 16:21Speaker 1: explaining how you get those cars in. That's why I hire.
- 16:26Speaker 1: All right, So time for something funny. Now time to
- 16:28Speaker 1: add Jay, Tommy and Junior some questions. Here we go, Jay,
- 16:31Speaker 1: this one's for you one part of aging Jay. Do
- 16:34Speaker 1: you wish someone had warned you about? All right, not
- 16:38Speaker 1: that you know anything about this, I know, going going
- 16:44Speaker 1: to the rest. He did not just say that, did he?
- 16:48Speaker 1: Oh my god? And old and in fact, I've had
- 16:55Speaker 1: to pee right now. You can Steve have that in common.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Oh my god. It is worse. It is so much
- 17:05Speaker 1: like and it's like, when did I drink as much fluid?
- 17:08Speaker 1: You did? You did? Your body is making it so
- 17:14Speaker 1: that's mine? Yeah, whatever, all right. I got a question
- 17:19Speaker 1: for Tommy, Moving on, Tommy, what is something someone said
- 17:25Speaker 1: that forever altered the way of the way you think
- 17:29Speaker 1: you think my thanking? What is something when someone said,
- 17:35Speaker 1: uh huh, yeah altered? God, God, I think it's Steve
- 17:48Speaker 1: saying that. It's just telling me how stupid I am.
- 17:50Speaker 1: It has really, it has really affected me over the years.
- 17:57Speaker 1: This is this is some of the reasons for some
- 17:59Speaker 1: of my sitback. It's because of you. I mean a thing,
- 18:05Speaker 1: all right, that's all right, This one's for you. What
- 18:10Speaker 1: is the You talk a lot about your family on
- 18:12Speaker 1: this show, a lot about your family, and they're very interesting.
- 18:15Speaker 1: So I just want to say ask you this, what
- 18:17Speaker 1: is the elephant in the room for your family? My
- 18:20Speaker 1: sister Dade as she walk in, you don't know because
- 18:25Speaker 1: she coming in that loud, she's mad already. We don't
- 18:29Speaker 1: invite her to nothing. She's having to show up. So
- 18:31Speaker 1: when she walk in, Oh this is what we do
- 18:33Speaker 1: with Oh this is what we don't. So we just
- 18:36Speaker 1: got gathered. I called nobody, so y'all gonna cook. Ain't
- 18:39Speaker 1: let her sister know nothing. Ain't be everybody in the house.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Hey passed, I see you made it. Hey first, lady,
- 18:46Speaker 1: you got the advice. Okay, okay, And man, I just
- 18:50Speaker 1: thought picking my keys up, and I just thought me
- 18:54Speaker 1: your family. I love your fast. That's y'all. I got
- 19:01Speaker 1: to ask the question of Junior because I've heard stories
- 19:03Speaker 1: about his sister all the time when we was right,
- 19:05Speaker 1: has there ever been a time when it was just
- 19:07Speaker 1: like you and head were just sister and brother? You
- 19:09Speaker 1: remember that? You ever remember we never had damn Jay,
- 19:13Speaker 1: We've never had sister and brother. No. No, she tried
- 19:15Speaker 1: to stab me at thirteen. Oh yes, so we never
- 19:19Speaker 1: had that. That could someone alter your relationship? I promise
- 19:22Speaker 1: they got the wrong baby at the hospital. I know
- 19:24Speaker 1: they do. You guys look alike. Yeah, come on, Carla,
- 19:29Speaker 1: this one's for Jay. Okay, what do people complain about that?
- 19:34Speaker 1: Literally just never happens. That's a good one. Jail It
- 19:39Speaker 1: literally never happens. Huh they complain about oh me not
- 19:43Speaker 1: having a job. That the complained about when I left
- 19:47Speaker 1: that other job. He didn't never find another damn job.
- 19:51Speaker 1: But I'm gonna trust no, I'm gonna try to get
- 19:59Speaker 1: this one quickly in for Tommy. Tommy, what is the
- 20:02Speaker 1: most brutal way you've been rejected by someone? Good? I think, uh,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I think it was it was you, Sharon, before I
- 20:13Speaker 1: got married. It was you. You don't remembered what? Oh man,
- 20:20Speaker 1: I haven't heard? All right, look, yeah, we might have
- 20:25Speaker 1: to double back, all right. Coming up next, the nephew
- 20:28Speaker 1: in the building would run that frank back right after
- 20:30Speaker 1: this person. You're listening to the Steven Show. Coming up
- 20:39Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, guys, we'll have some
- 20:41Speaker 1: entertainment news for you. Emmy nominations and the Emmy snubs
- 20:45Speaker 1: are out as well. And R Kelly please not guilty
- 20:49Speaker 1: and guess what he's denied bond. But first nephew in
- 20:52Speaker 1: the building, Yeah, would run that prank back. What you
- 20:54Speaker 1: got for us today, nat As you're not last year.

- 21:42Speaker 1: I'm I'm actually I'm I'm terminally ill, brother, brother Terrence,
- 21:49Speaker 1: And I don't you know, as far as what the
- 21:53Speaker 1: doctors tell me, it could be six months, another year,
- 21:58Speaker 1: but I know my i'm here is definitely limited. You know. Well,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I'm sorry to hear that, but we're definitely here to
- 22:06Speaker 1: help you out with whatever you need or whatever we
- 22:09Speaker 1: can help you with. So what can we do for you? Well?
- 22:12Speaker 1: You know, I truly believe that sometimes people have you know,
- 22:16Speaker 1: I've seen one of the old movies they got with it,
- 22:18Speaker 1: got a bucket list or whatever they called it. You know,
- 22:21Speaker 1: people trying to do things before they leave here. I
- 22:24Speaker 1: guess I'm just sitting around trying to figure out what
- 22:26Speaker 1: I can do and what I wanted to do before
- 22:28Speaker 1: I left this world. And went on to what he
- 22:32Speaker 1: has for me. Nixt you know, I don't believe in
- 22:35Speaker 1: doing anything unless it's preyed on first. Oh yeah, if
- 22:40Speaker 1: you don't mind, maybe you can you know, before I
- 22:43Speaker 1: can tell you my wish, we prayed that the wish
- 22:45Speaker 1: would come true. You you you're not doing anything like that.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Oh no, I don't mind praying. That's what we here.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Fire bow your head with your sir, is your head,
- 22:56Speaker 1: bow your sir, your sir here other God, we come
- 22:59Speaker 1: to you in the armless way we know how Lord,
- 23:03Speaker 1: we ask you to touch this young man and every
- 23:06Speaker 1: which way we heard, and then we ask you to
- 23:09Speaker 1: deliver him for whatever is going on with him, and
- 23:12Speaker 1: let him know that we the church is here to
- 23:14Speaker 1: help him with whatever his needs is in his last days.
- 23:18Speaker 1: And Jesus's name, I pray say amen, with man's gonna
- 23:24Speaker 1: do it here? Now you a member of the church
- 23:27Speaker 1: here of New Well, I was a member. I still
- 23:32Speaker 1: consider myself. Remember it's just been quite sometimes probably over
- 23:35Speaker 1: the year and a half two years, because I've been
- 23:37Speaker 1: able to come, you know, through to my my illness.
- 23:40Speaker 1: But definitely I will remember that. Well, that's all right.
- 23:44Speaker 1: We're not worried about all that. We just here to
- 23:47Speaker 1: take care of your last and final wish. That's what
- 23:50Speaker 1: our minister is for. You know. We helps people with
- 23:53Speaker 1: with with anything they need, you know, like what what
- 23:57Speaker 1: what all I mean when when people call and won't
- 23:59Speaker 1: say what all of you you are? What all of
- 24:02Speaker 1: y'all helped them with? Well we've helped them with the rent. Uh,
- 24:07Speaker 1: take them to the store, help them with a utility bill,
- 24:11Speaker 1: come out and cut the grass, anything like that they
- 24:14Speaker 1: just can't do. Take them to the doctor's appointment. Anything
- 24:18Speaker 1: we'd like to help them with, we do exactly. Then okay,
- 24:21Speaker 1: well I pretty much got those things taken care of.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I think what I'd like to do between you and
- 24:29Speaker 1: and myself brothers ton And I've never told anyone what
- 24:33Speaker 1: I'm about to tell you. I've never been with a
- 24:37Speaker 1: with with a woman before. Huh. I'm you know, I'm
- 24:41Speaker 1: thirty eight, but I've never been with a woman. Well,
- 24:46Speaker 1: I guess that might be a blessing. You might you
- 24:48Speaker 1: might be perire. That's a good thing. Well, you know,
- 24:50Speaker 1: but sometimes you know I give before I leave. I
- 24:54Speaker 1: guess that's a desire that I have. And and and uh,
- 24:58Speaker 1: what I wanted to ask you there is a lady
- 25:01Speaker 1: there at the church. Uh huh, and before I leave,
- 25:05Speaker 1: I think that's the woman that I would actually like
- 25:09Speaker 1: to be with. Well, I don't know if make a
- 25:12Speaker 1: wish ministry can support that kind of stuff, but uh,
- 25:16Speaker 1: go ahead, let me hear. Okay, that the lady that
- 25:19Speaker 1: I'm actually interested in actually, uh, she works at the
- 25:23Speaker 1: church too. When I see, she's kind of a tall
- 25:27Speaker 1: when she's about five nine, and she's probably about a
- 25:31Speaker 1: size eight, beautiful long leagues man and and and and
- 25:36Speaker 1: sandy type of hand sandy color for sandy brown man.
- 25:40Speaker 1: And I mean she looked like Caraman. Hold on a minute,
- 25:43Speaker 1: what's her name? I think her name Linda? Now hold on,
- 25:49Speaker 1: that's my wife? What you mean? Go ahead and see?
- 25:52Speaker 1: Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait Linda your wife? Yeah,
- 25:55Speaker 1: that's my wife. You Sorrence, what do you mean? Listen?
- 26:00Speaker 1: Y'all are ministry now. Now, if y'all supposed to be
- 26:03Speaker 1: taking care of people, don't make a wish and and
- 26:05Speaker 1: taking care of what they want before they leave this world.
- 26:08Speaker 1: If that's my wish, what is the problem listening here?
- 26:11Speaker 1: You didn't cross every line there was about this man.
- 26:14Speaker 1: So I don't give a damn about it. I'm you're
- 26:16Speaker 1: talking about sleeping with my Like if I see y'all
- 26:19Speaker 1: gonna do something to you, they ain't gonna even be
- 26:21Speaker 1: able to recognize you. So what the you talking about?
- 26:24Speaker 1: Missing with my wife? Son of m? I call Miss
- 26:27Speaker 1: Linda myself and see it. You know I have have a problem.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Wouldn't helping me make my wish come true? Go right?
- 26:32Speaker 1: And calling? You? Won't call nobody else. That would be
- 26:35Speaker 1: the least call you make. I thought y'all were here
- 26:40Speaker 1: to relieve people so they can enjoy themselves DeFore they
- 26:44Speaker 1: leave this world. You talk about sleeping with my wife?
- 26:47Speaker 1: Are you crazy? But but if I'm gonna leave here,
- 26:50Speaker 1: ain't nobody gonna know? But you want hunt, I don't
- 26:52Speaker 1: care if you die. I don't care. You ain't sleeping
- 26:55Speaker 1: with my wife and your food with her. You probably
- 26:58Speaker 1: gonna go ahead and die quicker than your to I
- 27:01Speaker 1: thought this was a ministry. I don't tell you. Now
- 27:04Speaker 1: you over they're telling me about Then y'all supposed to
- 27:06Speaker 1: be a ministry that to help people before they leave
- 27:09Speaker 1: the word what it is? But you're talking about sleeping
- 27:11Speaker 1: with my wife? You got an illness. But something must
- 27:14Speaker 1: be wrong with your brain talking about missing with man wife.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Ain't nobody don't even know? I think what your wife wants.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna there. Ain't gonna people the tour, y'all. At
- 27:21Speaker 1: least you would have helped me before. I love, I
- 27:23Speaker 1: can't help you with nothing. And let me tell you something.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I'm not the preacher, I'm not the past, I'm not
- 27:28Speaker 1: the deacon, I'm not none of them. But if you
- 27:31Speaker 1: mentioned my wife, You're gonna know who I am. I'm
- 27:33Speaker 1: gonna be the undertaker. Do you understand? I don't hear
- 27:36Speaker 1: what you saying. But I got one more thing I
- 27:38Speaker 1: need to tell you about who I am? Who asked you?
- 27:40Speaker 1: Isn't it to go ahead? Let me in? This is
- 27:43Speaker 1: nephew talk from the Steve Harvey more this your wife,
- 27:49Speaker 1: y'all me the phrase y'all, ain't tell me you wrong?
- 27:57Speaker 1: Ya ain't recording this is Mary has recorded every last
- 28:02Speaker 1: bit of Lord Hammer. Last thing gonna hear this? Oh god,
- 28:10Speaker 1: I got one more than what is the baddest and
- 28:14Speaker 1: I mean radio show in the land, Steve Harving Morning Show.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I'm done. I go back. You asked Tommy a question.
- 28:33Speaker 1: What was the most brutal way he has been rejected.
- 28:36Speaker 1: When Shirley rejected me way before I got married years ago.
- 28:40Speaker 1: She talked to me like she with delae Let boy.
- 28:42Speaker 1: What all right? Look coming up in the top of
- 28:47Speaker 1: the hour entertainment news. I don't know what Tommy's talking about.
- 28:51Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this. You're listening to
- 28:54Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, the nominations for the seventy
- 29:00Speaker 1: first Annual Emmy Awards have been released. They were released yesterday.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Game of Thrones leads the way with thirty two count
- 29:07Speaker 1: of thirty two comminations. I'm not even excited about it.
- 29:12Speaker 1: I'm still mad at that last last episode. Man. Stop,
- 29:15Speaker 1: let me tell y'all something. Out of all these great seasons,
- 29:18Speaker 1: we had y'all mad at one last episode. Yeah, because
- 29:21Speaker 1: of the way they did John Snow. You could have
- 29:25Speaker 1: told me he was gonna do this in season four.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Surely John Snow is fine. He owned another damn show.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Now quit worrying about that. He died for them and
- 29:32Speaker 1: came back to life, Tommy, and that's the things he gets. No,
- 29:37Speaker 1: he goes back on the wall where he started. Come on, man, sometimes,
- 29:43Speaker 1: sure he should have been king well anyway, Game of
- 29:48Speaker 1: Thrones led the way with thirty two nominations. Congratulations Lead

- 30:52Speaker 1: the real question is how did Game of Thrones get
- 30:55Speaker 1: thirty two nominations? They deserve it. I don't care, I
- 31:04Speaker 1: do love it. Uh. The The Emmys will air on
- 31:06Speaker 1: Fox September twenty seconds, So get ready for that with
- 31:12Speaker 1: Russell Crone? Was it too late to get oh? Where
- 31:17Speaker 1: he played? Um? Roger Ale? Oh whoa you gotta see
- 31:23Speaker 1: the making of the Fox Network is really really good? Okay,
- 31:27Speaker 1: all right, all right, yeah yeah, all right. Well. In
- 31:30Speaker 1: other entertainment news, Ur Kelly back in the News, appeared
- 31:34Speaker 1: in a Chicago courtroom yesterday. He had on that orange
- 31:37Speaker 1: jumpsuit with shackles around his ankles. Yeah. Prosecutors argued that
- 31:45Speaker 1: Kelly is a danger to the community and has demonstrated
- 31:48Speaker 1: willingness to obstruct justice via witness intimidation. H Kelly pleaded
- 31:53Speaker 1: not guilty and was denied bond. Prosecutors want to make
- 31:57Speaker 1: sure he stays behind bars until the t because an
- 32:01Speaker 1: electronic monitor uh and home confinement isn't enough to stop
- 32:05Speaker 1: him from enticing young girls to his own doorstep. What
- 32:10Speaker 1: this is? This is way deep sad. Yeah. Meanwhile, Kelly's
- 32:15Speaker 1: lawyer argued that his client isn't a flight risk because
- 32:19Speaker 1: he hates flying and reportedly has no money to afford
- 32:23Speaker 1: a sudden move. He also argued that Kelly's inability to
- 32:27Speaker 1: read and write would make it hard for him to
- 32:29Speaker 1: work with him while he's in jail. His girlfriends, Kelly's
- 32:34Speaker 1: girlfriend's Jocelyn Savage and Ariel Clary were there but decided
- 32:38Speaker 1: to skip a plan post hearing press conference. But he's
- 32:42Speaker 1: gonna write a song in now. I'll tell you that
- 32:43Speaker 1: he's gonna have a song. We're heead it's gonna be
- 32:45Speaker 1: a theme. So wow, here to write a song on
- 32:48Speaker 1: he want and about a plan? Yeah, yeah, all right though,
- 32:53Speaker 1: So Jay, miss Anna is coming up. She's gonna give
- 32:55Speaker 1: us the latest news on John Paul Justice, John Paul Stevens.
- 32:59Speaker 1: He's passed away. He was ninety nine. Everybody, it's time
- 33:03Speaker 1: for the news with us and trip do thank you
- 33:06Speaker 1: very much everybody here it is and this is a
- 33:07Speaker 1: trip with the news. Well, it was not what many
- 33:09Speaker 1: in the black community and the country wanted to hear.
- 33:12Speaker 1: US Attorney Richard Donohue announcing that, after five years, the
- 33:16Speaker 1: US Department of Justice had decided not to level federal
- 33:19Speaker 1: civil rights charges against Staton ol Coop Daniel Pandalio in
- 33:23Speaker 1: connection with the death of Eric Garner. Mister Garner's death
- 33:26Speaker 1: was a terrible tragedy, but having thoroughly investigated the surrounding circumstances,
- 33:31Speaker 1: the Department has concluded that the available evidence would not
- 33:35Speaker 1: support federal civil rights charges against any officer. Of course,
- 33:38Speaker 1: Garner's mother, glen Car is hurt and she's angering. Five
- 33:41Speaker 1: years ago, my son said I can't breathe eleven times,
- 33:45Speaker 1: and today we can't breathe because they have led us down.
- 33:49Speaker 1: That officer offers a pandalia and all the officers who
- 33:53Speaker 1: was involved in my son's death that day need to
- 33:55Speaker 1: be off the face. The streets of New York City
- 33:58Speaker 1: is not safe with them walking around. Eric Garner's dying words,
- 34:01Speaker 1: I can't breathe became the national rallying crying protest over
- 34:04Speaker 1: the treatment of unarmed black men and boys at the
- 34:06Speaker 1: hands of white policemen. Pantaleo still awaits the results of
- 34:10Speaker 1: an internal departmental trial, where he could either be exonerate
- 34:13Speaker 1: and lose his pension or be fired. Of course, if
- 34:15Speaker 1: he's fired, very often ex police officers surface in smaller
- 34:19Speaker 1: towns elsewhere in the country, and they're able to carry
- 34:22Speaker 1: a gun and be police officers again. House Democrats passed
- 34:25Speaker 1: the resolution yesterday which officially condemned the racist comments made
- 34:28Speaker 1: on Twitter recently by President Trump. Although merely symbolic the
- 34:31Speaker 1: action in response to remarks which apparently referred to four
- 34:34Speaker 1: freshman lawmakers or women of color, whom he said should
- 34:37Speaker 1: go back to where they came from. Apparently they all
- 34:39Speaker 1: come from here, all four American citizens. Only one was
- 34:42Speaker 1: born outside the US, and she had been naturalized. The
- 34:45Speaker 1: vote was two hundred forty one eighty seven. Basically went
- 34:48Speaker 1: along party lines. However, at least four Republicans did join
- 34:51Speaker 1: in criticizing the Donald. Top Republicans nevertheless say the resolutions
- 34:55Speaker 1: all politics, and the President is sticking to his argument,
- 34:58Speaker 1: even bringing Israel into he did, and the way they're
- 35:01Speaker 1: treating Israel is a disgrace, but not only Israel. It's
- 35:04Speaker 1: what they say about our country. It's my opinion. They
- 35:07Speaker 1: hate our country and that's not good. He didn't elaborate
- 35:12Speaker 1: on what they said that was a bad, bad about
- 35:14Speaker 1: to israel I. Guess he will a later date. Horrible
- 35:16Speaker 1: news out of Louisiana. Authority say that Sadie Roberts, Joseph's,
- 35:20Speaker 1: founder of the Baton Rouge African American History Museum, was
- 35:22Speaker 1: found murdered. Please say the body of the seventy five yo.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Community activists found a trunk of her own car with
- 35:28Speaker 1: at first look, the cause of death being suffocation and
- 35:31Speaker 1: a statement a community organization together. Baton Rouge says Sadie
- 35:34Speaker 1: Joseph's death as a tragedy, but there would have been
- 35:36Speaker 1: even greater injustice to let her death overshadow her tremendous life,
- 35:40Speaker 1: which left behind a legacy of activism and black pride again.
- 35:44Speaker 1: She was the founder of the Baton Rouge African American
- 35:47Speaker 1: History Museum. Found dead Today is National Piggy Day. There
- 35:53Speaker 1: piggies out there. Now back to the Steve Harvey Mourning
- 35:55Speaker 1: Show you're listening to show? Well, we all know the
- 36:00Speaker 1: Beehive canceled all plans last night to watch the world
- 36:04Speaker 1: premiere of a Beyonce song, Spirit, which was part of
- 36:08Speaker 1: the Lion King Can You Feel the Love Tonight? The special,
- 36:11Speaker 1: which aired last night, also featured an interview with Beyonce
- 36:15Speaker 1: and Robin Roberts. Take the listen. This soundtrack is a
- 36:19Speaker 1: love letter to Africa, and I wanted to make sure
- 36:23Speaker 1: we found the best talent from Africa and not just
- 36:28Speaker 1: you know, use some of the sounds and did my
- 36:30Speaker 1: interpretation of it. I wanted it to be authentic to
- 36:34Speaker 1: what is beautiful about the music in Africa. All right,
- 36:39Speaker 1: all right, so good. I just saw the clips, Yeah
- 36:42Speaker 1: so good. Yeah, I mean I haven't seen a bad
- 36:46Speaker 1: lion king though, let's be yeah this Yeah he is
- 36:52Speaker 1: a lion president. Uh. This is taking it to the
- 36:56Speaker 1: next level though with the live action and yeah, I
- 36:59Speaker 1: can't wait to see it either. Yeah and everywhere when
- 37:02Speaker 1: it come out the top of that animation this weekend,
- 37:04Speaker 1: this weekend, comes out this weekend, right, Yeah, I'm trying
- 37:07Speaker 1: to go in there, no children, That's what I wanted.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Good look, yeah, yeah, you made me to see it
- 37:12Speaker 1: at home. You got to get it on bootleg and
- 37:15Speaker 1: the confines of your shop. What happened to the bootleg man?
- 37:20Speaker 1: You don't see him? No, And I bet naughty ain't.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Nobody got no DVD players, no more Sherley. Remember I
- 37:29Speaker 1: got mad at the bootleg man. I remember when roscoes
- 37:33Speaker 1: and oh man, I lost it and you sho pirates. Yeah,
- 37:38Speaker 1: you know you've always had a temperance stealing people's art.
- 37:41Speaker 1: That's wrong for that. Yeah, that's back when I was
- 37:43Speaker 1: trying to highlight out a caller, you know, taking out
- 37:46Speaker 1: a Rosco and she drives Wow, she drive me to
- 37:50Speaker 1: home depot. I got to help blue stuff at her.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me. My good for those
- 37:56Speaker 1: of you all that were just tuning in, you were
- 37:58Speaker 1: talking about Lyon King. But Tommy, now nephew Tommy tried
- 38:03Speaker 1: to holler and Shirley back in the day. We all
- 38:06Speaker 1: see that shot. I can't even pitch that. It was
- 38:09Speaker 1: a long time ago, spending my mom so shocked that
- 38:13Speaker 1: I just cannot believe that this was going on. You
- 38:16Speaker 1: have no words, shake, you had word, and I'm team Tommy.
- 38:19Speaker 1: He never said anything. Thousand dollars later, you know what
- 38:24Speaker 1: I'm saying, still behind trying to hug Shirley. No, it
- 38:29Speaker 1: still hurts, is what he's saying. Your team, Shirley, Your
- 38:34Speaker 1: team Charlotte. That's I wouldn't take that. I wouldn't take that.
- 38:40Speaker 1: You your team Tommy would not take that time. I witch,
- 38:44Speaker 1: that was low right there. You worked for him, Junior.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I'm definitely a pop team. We didn't put a sound
- 38:50Speaker 1: together for pop. That sounds like a pop team. Man,
- 38:55Speaker 1: cool all right, Yeah, can't you feel the loving Eric?
- 39:00Speaker 1: Can you all right? Listen? Coming up at thirty four
- 39:03Speaker 1: after the hour, trending National news from New York City.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Eric Garner's death will not lead to federal charges for
- 39:10Speaker 1: the NYPD officer sad to say, all right, that's coming
- 39:15Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to this Stavehow all right,
- 39:20Speaker 1: guys and trending national news from our New York City

- 39:33Speaker 1: announced they will not I said they will not bring
- 39:36Speaker 1: federal charges against a New York City police officer over
- 39:39Speaker 1: the death of Eric Garner during a chaotic arrest that
- 39:43Speaker 1: sparked civil rights protest. This happened five years ago. You guys,
- 39:47Speaker 1: remember this. Eric Garner, forty three, a black man, was
- 39:50Speaker 1: accused of selling single cigarettes outside a store on Staten Island.
- 39:54Speaker 1: When officer Pantaleo attempted to arrest him, Garner gasped, can't
- 40:00Speaker 1: breathe after Pantaliou and other officers knocked him to the ground.
- 40:05Speaker 1: As Pantalio choked, he'd put him in a chokehold. Remember
- 40:09Speaker 1: this around his head and neck. Eric's mother said the
- 40:12Speaker 1: DJ has failed us. The city paid a five point
- 40:16Speaker 1: nine million dollars civil settlement to Gardner's family. Officer Pantalio
- 40:21Speaker 1: has been assigned to administrative duty since Gardner's death. Wow,
- 40:26Speaker 1: and that's what he gets. Yeah? Can he can the
- 40:29Speaker 1: family sue him directly or like theer, Yeah, yeah, sue
- 40:34Speaker 1: the officer directly because he killed it. Yeah, I guess
- 40:37Speaker 1: you killed Yeah, he killed it. I guess you can.
- 40:40Speaker 1: The city already settled with them a civil settlement. Yeah,
- 40:44Speaker 1: but you want you want more jail? Yeah? I would
- 40:48Speaker 1: keep pushing it, definitely. Yeah, because it seems like the
- 40:51Speaker 1: Department of Justice their findings. I mean, we all saw
- 40:54Speaker 1: this video, you see, Yeah, we see this. This man
- 40:58Speaker 1: had to die over some cigarettes. And how is it that?
- 41:02Speaker 1: I mean, and we asked this question all the time,
- 41:04Speaker 1: dating back to Ridney King. We can see the video
- 41:07Speaker 1: and see it clearly with our eyes. But then when yeah,
- 41:11Speaker 1: when they see the exact same video, they see something
- 41:15Speaker 1: entirely different brutality that they do to Yeah, he was
- 41:20Speaker 1: in fear for his life. Yeah, they can explain it
- 41:22Speaker 1: away like that. You know, I'm just trying to figure
- 41:25Speaker 1: out what is the threat of a cigarette though? What
- 41:28Speaker 1: is the threat that it has to go to this? Yeah,
- 41:31Speaker 1: that he has to die, Yeah, lose your life. Yeah.
- 41:35Speaker 1: You had him down on the ground, you had him detain.
- 41:37Speaker 1: I mean, and he had his hands up, he said
- 41:40Speaker 1: he was he gave up. Breathe. But it's five of y'all. Yes,
- 41:44Speaker 1: his last words, his last word. Yeah. But hearing news
- 41:49Speaker 1: like this, it's you know, it's hard to breathe. You
- 41:52Speaker 1: hold your breath. You can't believe it. You know, this
- 41:55Speaker 1: is anyway the Justice Department of Justice, the Justice for Eric. Yeah,
- 42:01Speaker 1: like his mother said, the DJ has failed us and
- 42:04Speaker 1: let me add once again, once again, once again. Yeah. Yeah,
- 42:08Speaker 1: And we met his mother, Shirley, Yeah, Eric's mother. Circle
- 42:13Speaker 1: of right and him right out there with all the
- 42:15Speaker 1: other mothers who've lost sons and daughters. Yeah yeah, right, Yeah. Well,
- 42:21Speaker 1: I mean, since we're on this subject talking about racism,
- 42:24Speaker 1: I mean, what do you guys think about people wanting
- 42:27Speaker 1: President Obama to uplift us to again after President Trump's
- 42:32Speaker 1: latest racist tweets about the congre I'm up for President
- 42:37Speaker 1: Obama saying anything. Just say hi anytimes he says something.
- 42:41Speaker 1: It's motivational, you doing inspiring. Yeah, you know, I saw
- 42:46Speaker 1: a lot of um, I saw a lot of media
- 42:48Speaker 1: outlets saying like jun President. I don't know. He doesn't
- 42:56Speaker 1: have to uplive me. He could just say Hi, we'll
- 42:58Speaker 1: all feel better. Come in the room. You know what
- 43:01Speaker 1: I said for him? Just coming down air Force one
- 43:04Speaker 1: on them steps. That's cool, that's good. Yeah, but how
- 43:09Speaker 1: would he say hi? Though't you? Yeah? How you doing that? Ji?
- 43:13Speaker 1: Wait a minute, Wait a minute. Junior has an impression
- 43:16Speaker 1: and we're gonna work that down. It's good to see
- 43:20Speaker 1: you on the Steve Hardy Morning to Show every morning. Listen,
- 43:24Speaker 1: you guys are pretty funny. Don't wind it down when
- 43:27Speaker 1: Mama we go to Junior. You know, you know one
- 43:34Speaker 1: thing about it. If Obama come back, everybody be happy
- 43:38Speaker 1: about that because you know, Kobe be happy. K far
- 43:40Speaker 1: the Paul Workley sounds a lot like Junior, but Obama.
- 43:49Speaker 1: But I like it though. I like it coming here,
- 43:51Speaker 1: just walking the room. Yeah, Carl oh, I would love that.
- 43:56Speaker 1: All right. So if you're outraged like we are, we
- 43:58Speaker 1: want to hear from you. Please go to Steve Harvey
- 44:00Speaker 1: f FAM and post your comments. Switching gears. Now up next,
- 44:04Speaker 1: the nephew in the building with a frank phone call
- 44:08Speaker 1: right out to this, my prue. You're listening to Steve
- 44:15Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:19Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my Strawberry letter for today.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Subject my Champagne dreams and his beer budget. That is
- 44:28Speaker 1: the subject. But right now, the nephew in the building
- 44:30Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call what you got, Nef Shelly.
- 44:34Speaker 1: I'd like to call this Sebastian. That's what I would
- 44:39Speaker 1: like to call this prank. This brank is called Sebastian. Okay,
- 44:44Speaker 1: all right, just one words. That is how Sebastian speaks.
- 44:50Speaker 1: It is Sebastian. All right, the name is Sebastian. Everyone's
- 44:55Speaker 1: saying it's Sebastian, Sebastian, Sebastian, that Sebastian, Seestian. No, oh,
- 45:00Speaker 1: not Sebastid, It's Sebastian. Game now, I want to all
- 45:04Speaker 1: you all to buckle up and hold on tight because
- 45:06Speaker 1: we're gonna run that prink and it's called what come on?
- 45:14Speaker 1: Shut up, Jill, you're here, we go can't run it. Hello, Hello,
- 45:19Speaker 1: I wish to speak with a mister please, Hello, sir.
- 45:25Speaker 1: My name is Sebastian. I am with the Art Institute
- 45:30Speaker 1: and I wanted to give you a call about um.
- 45:33Speaker 1: I have a huge showing coming up where I am
- 45:36Speaker 1: going to be displaying my portfolio and all of my
- 45:40Speaker 1: drawings within it. But I have one drawing that I
- 45:42Speaker 1: am looking to display that I have not put on
- 45:45Speaker 1: canvas yet, and I'm looking to take something of essence
- 45:49Speaker 1: to put on canvas, and I want to call you
- 45:51Speaker 1: about getting permission. Well wait, hold on, dog, just to
- 45:54Speaker 1: stop you right now, I don't do that, all right.
- 45:56Speaker 1: I'm not a model. That's not my profession, So would
- 46:00Speaker 1: not waste your time no more. You know what I'm saying.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Just go ahead, mister. I don't think you understand that
- 46:06Speaker 1: my showing is gonna have some very important people there.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I am, like I said before with Art Institute. Yeah,
- 46:13Speaker 1: but I said, I don't do that. That's not me.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I mean, I hate you know what, would you just
- 46:18Speaker 1: calling folks up you are solicitor or something. I mean,
- 46:21Speaker 1: y'all just randomly picking out folks and trying to trying
- 46:23Speaker 1: to get them the model of man, sir, mister, No,
- 46:27Speaker 1: I'm not just randomly calling people. I actually have done
- 46:30Speaker 1: research in order to get your number. What I'm doing
- 46:33Speaker 1: is I'm not calling you as far being a model
- 46:37Speaker 1: that I'm going to portray on canvas. But you have
- 46:40Speaker 1: something far more greater visually that I would like to
- 46:44Speaker 1: behold on Kansas. Now you're married to your wife? Is
- 46:50Speaker 1: am I correct? The whole whoa whoa, whoa dab? No
- 46:53Speaker 1: for who is this seriously? Because I could get my number? No,
- 46:57Speaker 1: I can get my number because you're talking about my
- 46:59Speaker 1: wife and stuff. I know my wife. My name is Sebastian.
- 47:03Speaker 1: I am with Art Institute. What I'm trying to do
- 47:06Speaker 1: with capturing and mortalize the beauty of essence on Canna lives?
- 47:10Speaker 1: Okay yo, for real, though, you just can't. You don't
- 47:13Speaker 1: talk about my wife all right, So I'm not. I'm
- 47:17Speaker 1: not calling in a negative manner towards your wife. I
- 47:20Speaker 1: want to. I want to mortalize her and capture her
- 47:24Speaker 1: on canvas, the beauties that she beholds. I've seen your
- 47:28Speaker 1: wife several times, you guys reside, whoa, whoa, whoa? You
- 47:31Speaker 1: see my wife? But wait, what do you see my wife? That?
- 47:34Speaker 1: Why are you? Why are you? Why are you watching
- 47:36Speaker 1: my wife? I've seen her. She she shops one hundred
- 47:39Speaker 1: and twenty fifth Street in hall Im. I've seen her
- 47:40Speaker 1: so many times there, and she holds all the beauty
- 47:43Speaker 1: that an artist would like to put on Kansas. Like
- 47:46Speaker 1: I said before, I have a huge showing and you're
- 47:48Speaker 1: welcome to come out as well. There's going to be
- 47:51Speaker 1: so many important people there. But I want to call
- 47:53Speaker 1: and get permission from you about painting your wife. No,
- 47:57Speaker 1: you ain't got that permission. Play well, you just can't.
- 47:59Speaker 1: You just can't go around following my wife and trying
- 48:03Speaker 1: to motalize or whatever. I just said. All right, so so,
- 48:06Speaker 1: but I would like to let you know I have
- 48:09Speaker 1: taken the liberty myself. I have painted your wife's head. What, Joe,
- 48:15Speaker 1: you have lost your damn mind. You can't be just
- 48:17Speaker 1: walking around here peyton folks headed. You gotta get permission
- 48:21Speaker 1: for that. What's wrong with you? But if you are crazy,
- 48:24Speaker 1: you don't understand. Your wife holds the essence that every
- 48:27Speaker 1: artist wants. I don't care what he holds. You can't
- 48:30Speaker 1: be going around peyton folks heads. Is wrong with you, sir.
- 48:34Speaker 1: That's the reason why I'm calling trying to get permission
- 48:36Speaker 1: from you. I, Sebastian, want to put your wife on
- 48:40Speaker 1: Cannavas because she holds the essence that every artist wants
- 48:43Speaker 1: to behold, she mortalized the beauty of canon. Whoa hold
- 48:47Speaker 1: of God? Hold of God? Hold of God? You're telling
- 48:49Speaker 1: me you walking around flum peyton my wife's head? Is that?
- 48:54Speaker 1: What are you doing? Dude too? I'm only trying to
- 48:59Speaker 1: complete my folio. Oh no, your portfolio here? Listen it
- 49:03Speaker 1: is if I see my wife's head anywhere. I don't
- 49:06Speaker 1: care a new type of magazine. I don't care where
- 49:07Speaker 1: a bill or whether Yo, I'm gonna find yo. I'm
- 49:10Speaker 1: gonna whoop yo. Do you understand what I'm saying to you?
- 49:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna suit? Did you you understand that, sir? I
- 49:15Speaker 1: don't want to have a duel with you? Sir? A duel?
- 49:19Speaker 1: Here's a duel? Who they due? What they do? In fact?
- 49:24Speaker 1: What name? It's a bashi? Who come name is? That's
- 49:28Speaker 1: a bashhiit? Sir? All I want to do is paint
- 49:32Speaker 1: your wife in her rawst and purest foe that there's
- 49:36Speaker 1: law and purist for me. What do you want? Seriously,
- 49:40Speaker 1: I want to paint your wife. I want to paint
- 49:44Speaker 1: her in the nude. How don't you watch you? My No,
- 49:50Speaker 1: he's run. That's what you should do. Tell me where
- 49:53Speaker 1: you as you want to paint something. I'll give you
- 49:55Speaker 1: something to paint. Tell me where you at? What twenty five?

- 50:22Speaker 1: to ask me some like that, sir, I must ask you.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Do you think that you are the only person that
- 50:28Speaker 1: has seen your wife in the new Sheila? That has
- 50:30Speaker 1: been men before you that have seen her in the
- 50:32Speaker 1: neet that for you and my wife ain't no more?
- 50:35Speaker 1: You call my wife up? Is that what you're saying?
- 50:38Speaker 1: Are you calling my wife before you? I want to
- 50:41Speaker 1: paint my wife and the beauty that she bought and
- 50:43Speaker 1: on cannabis? Did you not understand? I just said, you know,
- 50:49Speaker 1: I told you meet me on the corner of one

- 53:55Speaker 1: You heard what she said. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:57Speaker 1: We gotta pull you here. It is a strawberry letter,
- 54:00Speaker 1: Thank you nephew. Subject my Champagne dreams his beer budget.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Here Stephen Shirley. I have heard Steve harveyan and elder
- 54:09Speaker 1: and my family say that you can train a man
- 54:11Speaker 1: to do anything you want him to do. Well, I
- 54:14Speaker 1: have tried it, and it's not true. I've been dating
- 54:17Speaker 1: a really great guy for three years, and as time
- 54:20Speaker 1: goes on, it's becoming clear that he has an issue
- 54:24Speaker 1: with contributing financially to whatever we're doing. He tries to
- 54:28Speaker 1: do sweet things for me, but he does them in
- 54:31Speaker 1: his own little, cheap way. It's never up to my expectations,
- 54:35Speaker 1: but I always act like I love it. He always
- 54:40Speaker 1: takes shortcuts and he finds a cheaper way to get
- 54:43Speaker 1: things done. It's no secret that I make more money
- 54:46Speaker 1: than he does. But when we first met, he was
- 54:50Speaker 1: going through a financial crisis, and I've helped him through
- 54:53Speaker 1: it and now we are doing well as a couple.
- 54:56Speaker 1: I guess he is being very careful with his money.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Now here's my main issue. If I tell him I
- 55:02Speaker 1: want to go to the movies, he assumes I'll pay
- 55:05Speaker 1: for it since it was my idea. If he plans
- 55:10Speaker 1: a date, it is at his house and he will
- 55:12Speaker 1: cook something cheap like hamburgers or tatos and we watch Netflix.
- 55:17Speaker 1: If he comes to my house, he expects me to
- 55:19Speaker 1: buy the food and cook it because we're at my house.
- 55:23Speaker 1: If I want to have food delivered, I pay for
- 55:26Speaker 1: it because he will not get the food delivery apps
- 55:28Speaker 1: on his phone. I have told him he's cheap and
- 55:31Speaker 1: it's a problem. He says he's just not into wasting
- 55:34Speaker 1: money on things he can do at home. My girlfriend
- 55:37Speaker 1: say that I am wrong for even telling him I
- 55:40Speaker 1: want to go out, because he is the man and
- 55:42Speaker 1: should be thinking of sweet things to do with and
- 55:45Speaker 1: for me. So I am asking you do I step
- 55:48Speaker 1: back and see if he steps up. I don't want
- 55:50Speaker 1: to live like this anymore. But I love this man.
- 55:53Speaker 1: What should I do? Well? If you love this man
- 55:57Speaker 1: like you say you love this man, you love him
- 56:01Speaker 1: cheapness and all. That's who he is right now, right,
- 56:04Speaker 1: that's just how it goes. I mean, he's like that
- 56:07Speaker 1: right now. And guess what you can't change him unless
- 56:10Speaker 1: he wants to change. And you know, you call him
- 56:14Speaker 1: a really great guy in the letter who you've been
- 56:16Speaker 1: dating for three years. You say he's a really good
- 56:19Speaker 1: guy who tries to do sweet things for you, all right.
- 56:22Speaker 1: He also said that, you know, he's being very careful
- 56:26Speaker 1: with his money right now, and he doesn't like spending things,
- 56:30Speaker 1: you know, just wasting his money on things he can
- 56:32Speaker 1: do at home. You know, sometimes that's an excuse. Sometimes
- 56:36Speaker 1: people really mean it. In this case, it sounds like
- 56:38Speaker 1: he really means it. You make more money than him.
- 56:41Speaker 1: You say you're doing well as a couple right now.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Maybe he's trying to get out of some sort of
- 56:46Speaker 1: financial situation. I mean, you helped him, but maybe he
- 56:49Speaker 1: doesn't want to get back in that and have to
- 56:51Speaker 1: come to you again to help him out. This situation
- 56:54Speaker 1: I think is really up to you. I agree. No
- 56:56Speaker 1: one likes a cheap thingy man. No one likes that.
- 57:00Speaker 1: But we do like a man that even though he's
- 57:02Speaker 1: not filthy rich right now, he's creative, he's attentive, he's thoughtful,
- 57:07Speaker 1: he's loving, he knows how to do a lot with
- 57:09Speaker 1: a little and wild he's grinding all the while he's
- 57:12Speaker 1: grinding and hustling to make a better life for the
- 57:14Speaker 1: two of you. That's a good brother right there. So
- 57:16Speaker 1: the question for you is is this man a good
- 57:19Speaker 1: brother or do you just think he's not spending enough
- 57:21Speaker 1: money on you? What is the situation here? He told
- 57:25Speaker 1: you in the letter he doesn't want to waste money,
- 57:28Speaker 1: So you guys need to figure it out. You say
- 57:30Speaker 1: you love him, You've been with him for three years,
- 57:33Speaker 1: all right. I don't think if this is a good
- 57:35Speaker 1: man like you say he is, you ought to throw
- 57:37Speaker 1: him away. You guys can work through these situations, all right, Junior,
- 57:44Speaker 1: which you got? I can't believe it is a woman
- 57:47Speaker 1: that he had just this ungrateful. I don't see why
- 57:51Speaker 1: you upset. You got a man that's at least doing something,
- 57:54Speaker 1: but you're so ungrateful. Okay, he making hamburgers and taco
- 57:59Speaker 1: Do you know how to go, daddies, Shirley ain't making
- 58:02Speaker 1: hamburgers and taccosh okay, so he eleast out doing Shirley,
- 58:09Speaker 1: we know for show, and nothing like a hot dog
- 58:13Speaker 1: or a hamburger with some garden showing the plate to
- 58:15Speaker 1: deck it up a little bit. You is so ungrateful.
- 58:19Speaker 1: I don't know who this lady is. What boat did
- 58:21Speaker 1: you want? He is doing the best he can't. You're
- 58:23Speaker 1: not gonna get everything type of the line. You're just
- 58:25Speaker 1: not gonna get it. Stop led that. Let me tell
- 58:27Speaker 1: you something. I've seen these knockoffs and these originals, Gucci
- 58:30Speaker 1: and Ucci pretty much same damn bad, just without the
- 58:36Speaker 1: same bag, the same color. It might be a little off,
- 58:38Speaker 1: may look a little faith, but the same bad. There
- 58:41Speaker 1: is no difference between Louis and Louis Vaton, Louis Vat
- 58:45Speaker 1: and Louisa. That's pretty much same bad. L w I
- 58:50Speaker 1: S and Louis Vton that Louis Vinn. Louis and Louis
- 58:56Speaker 1: Vton pretty much same bag. Ain't nobody looking that hard
- 58:59Speaker 1: at Joe Allen. Just understand you need to just be
- 59:03Speaker 1: more grateful for the man that you have. At least
- 59:05Speaker 1: he's trying get a man great, and then encourage him
- 59:09Speaker 1: to do one more thing next time. He made hamburger,
- 59:11Speaker 1: asks for hamburger and fries, thinking a step first, you
- 59:16Speaker 1: can't get there. Sounds push him just a little more.
- 59:23Speaker 1: All right, Jay, you're up, Thank you, Junior, you're up.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Subject my Champagne dreams his beer budget with what's going
- 59:30Speaker 1: on with you, Jay? What this man needs to do
- 59:33Speaker 1: is surround hisself with things that will allow him to
- 59:37Speaker 1: share with his mate and be cheap at the same time.
- 59:41Speaker 1: That you only pay one price and you can share,
- 59:45Speaker 1: then that way you're not being cheap. For instance, now,
- 59:49Speaker 1: for instance, a Twitch candy bar. You can split that
- 59:53Speaker 1: right down the middle, give her some, you take part
- 59:57Speaker 1: of it. Now you're sharing. You're not a cheap man anymore.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Left twists, right TwixT, yeah, left twitch, right Twitch. Thank you, Shirley,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: You're welcome. I'm enjoyed. Sometimes you feel like a net.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Sometimes you don't give her what she wants. I've got more.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Hold on, Hold on, We're gonna have part two of
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: your response coming up, Jay, and we gotta get to
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: the nephew as well. That's coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: after the hour. A subject of today's Strawberry Letter, My
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Champagne Dreams and his Beer Budget, will get back into
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, we're gonna recap today's Strawberry Letters
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: subject My Champagne Dreams and his Beer Budget A young
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: lady wrote in she's been with a guy for three years.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: She says he's a great guy. As time goes on, though,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: she's saying it's becoming clear that it's an issue with
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: contributing financially to whatever they're doing, so she's carrying the
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: financial loads, so to speak. He had some financial troubles
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: back a little while ago. She helped him out of those,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: and now she says they're doing well at a as
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: a couple, but she's getting a little tired because she's
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: calling him cheap. She says if she tells him she
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: wants to go to the movie, he assumes she'll pay
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: for it. If he invites her to his house, he'll
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: they're just cooking burgers. He's just cooking Burger's tacos, and
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: they're netflixing and chilling, okay, which sounds like a great
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: weekend to me. I love it. Right. If he comes
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: to her house, he expects her to buy the food,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to cook it and all of that, So she's just
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: upset at his cheapness. She says they're doing well as
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: a couple now. Her girlfriends say that she's wrong for
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: even telling him this kind of thing, because the man
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: who he is, and he should be thinking of sweet
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: things to do for her. So the girlfriends are on
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: the man's side. She's asking us should she step back
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: to see if he steps up? Okay, Jay, you want
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: to finish. I'm saying there's places that you can go
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: that you can save a little money. Now, you always
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: if you spring for the movie, have her meet you there.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: You go in early, Go in early, trust me, dog,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: there's popcorn everywhere, all over the place. All you gotta
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: do is get your bucket, scoop up what you need,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: sit right there and wait on her. There's nothing wrong
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: with that popcorn. Not a damn thing wrong with that popcorn.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Other people's popcorns, other people's popcorn. I love. They just
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: they just throw it away. There's nothing, there's nothing, trust me, dog,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with it. And you gotta search for
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: a solda with ice in it. It It takes a while,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: but that isn't ye aren't this cheap? Trust me dog.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: You gotta walk around shake no ice, shake no ice,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: shake the and mix those two together. Na, this is
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: a surprized to everybody. You don't know what flavor you
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: go now, here's the last one. When you go to church.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: You want to split that communion, right, I'm done with
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: you on that one. I'm done. I am out. Man.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: You gonna give it to God and say God bless
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: us both. She got had and then you take a
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Tinny ship and then she taking Tanny ships, taking Tenny ship,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: and then she taking Tanny ship. And that's ain't same money.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: It's not that well, you gotta do it, do it though,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you do it right to do it. I hate you,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: all right, Come on, nephew, subject my champagne dreams, his
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: beard budget. Oh, you can still love him, but there's
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: some other things you're gonna have to love. Okay, you
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: can still love him, it's just some other things you
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: got to love. You're gonna have to start loving porking
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: beans with Wiener's cut up in it. You're gonna have

- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Y'all got to go out back and get a y'all

- 1:05:01Speaker 1: dry much energy that take. No, you got to you
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: got the love of the things. Now. You can't be

- 1:05:23Speaker 1: with one can of vaslation. You can do that. There's
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: certain things you got to love. You got to love
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: all these que pounds he got in his pocket when
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: y'all go to the grocery show and everybody standing in a

- 1:05:56Speaker 1: out the zinc and gone about your I think she's
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: being petty though, because he won't put the food. He
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: won't put the food out on his phone. Yeah, try
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: using that eats on that phone. It's hard to get
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: the peppers for churches ticket on it. You can never
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: find the I wouldn't get it even. I wouldn't get
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: it even. And he's spending nine nine and nine on
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Netflix every months, so he's spend at and Hamburger ground
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: round costs. Okay, all right, listen, how do I know that.

- 1:06:42Speaker 1: the hour, tell Me Something Good. We're gonna share with you, guys,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: so much needed good news. Okay, that's coming up right
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: time now for tell Me Something Good. You know, we
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: hear so much bad news all the time. It's so
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: much bad stuff going on in the world. Well, our
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: new segment is called tell Me Something Good. Okay, just
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: like the Rufus and Shaka Khan song back in the day,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: we want to spread some good news. Danielle met served
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: twenty three years behind bars before President Barack Obama granted
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: her clemency back in twenty sixteen. Well, now that she's out,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: not only is she attending college and making the Dean's List.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Danielle Metz was twenty six years old when she was
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: convicted on drug offenses related to her husband's cocaine operation.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: She received three life sentences plus twenty years when she
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: got out of prison, she enrolled in Southern University. By
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: her second semester, she'd earned an impressive three point seven
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: five GPA. Mister Obama, Yes, yes, yes, yes, that deserves
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: a hand clap. That's right, that's right. Mister Obama didn't
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: want to let Danielle's accomplishment go unnoticed. He says, I
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: am so proud of you and confident that your example
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: will have a positive impact for others who are looking
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: for a second chance. This is what President Obama said
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: in a handwritten letter. Uh, he didn't tweet it. He
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: sent her a handwritten letter. That is certainly some good news,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: right yeah, oh man, yeah, we need to hear more
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: of that. And you wanted Yeah, I had. I had
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: that junior. The first day of school, the pression when
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: you're a full school started out of a hunted I
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: can't see you being smart. That was the first day.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: That second day, we write it right on that at
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: two point five, just writing on that. There's nothing wrong
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: with that either, right, Yeah, just stayale, float, just stale.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: That's right. Well, you know what, if you go to
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: trade school, you don't have to worry about none of
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: that thing. But in tech make pockets though, so shut up, Tommy,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: we're doing pockets today. He's still so at all? Jay, No,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: not at all? Oh sold my shirt up? I should
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: what happened? I had a hold of my turtleneck and Jason,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: you got a whole try to give it here baby
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: taking my shirt off, and Jay sold my Wow, I
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: can't even tell where it is. That's great, that's great.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: All right, Well listen. If you guys have some good
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: news you want to share, please go to Steve Harvey
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: FM for more good news and are coming up at
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: the top of the hour trending hip hop news. We'll
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: talk about Meek Mill right after this. You're listening and
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: trending hip hop news from our homestation w d A
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: S one oh five point three and Philly Baby. Yes. Well,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Meek Mill sat down with Gail King on CBS this
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: morning for a heart to heart and who better to
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: do it but our friend Gail King. We love her.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: She's great at what she does. Yes she does Meek No, no, no,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: But Meek spoke candidly about the struggles of a probo
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: probationary period that has extended for nearly a decade now.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: One of the hardest parts was having to get permission
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: to go anywhere outside of the local area, which made
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: it near impossible to visit his son. Take a listen
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: to this. You have to get permission to travel, yes,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: even if it's to the next county over, if it's
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: out of the city. If you don't ask for permission,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: you could get the rest of your probition time given
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: to you as jail time. Legally, taking your son to school,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: you have to call get permission. My son lived in
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: New Jersey, but I lived in Philadelphia and the bridge
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: is fifteen minute route. It's just a bridge. I couldn't
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: go get my son from school when I wanted to,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: because you know, it was some days I would get
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: off work early. I would just have a free day
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: and I would just want to pop up at my
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: son's school and get them from school. I've been out
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: of town for two weeks from a road working. Really
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: do it. Wow, Wow, here's a father that wants to
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: be a part of his son's life. And look so
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: surely this lady, judge, I'm sorry, Oh Jenny's Brinkley Judge,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Denise Brinkley, Well, okay, here's the story. Tell me meek.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: You know was in court at the Philadelphia Supreme Court
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: yesterday to try to get his conviction overturn that's kept
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: him on probation for a decade. What he was talking about.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Meek Mill's lawyers have accused Judge Denise Brinkley, who handed
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: down the sentence and send him to jail, for the
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: probation violations of inappropriate behavior and bias. Meek Mill, whose
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: real name is Robert Ramique Williams, is seeking a new
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: trial before a new judge, thank goodness, a bid supported
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: by prosecutors who have told the court they no longer
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: trust the police officer who was the sole government witness
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: in the case. So's yeah, and Van Jones is working
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: with him with the two. Yeah. The main thing is
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: getting a new judge first, right, yep, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: this judge wanted to be a star. But people think
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: they are above the law though. Man, that's that's still
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: that's just being above a lot of power, man. Yeah.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: They they don't always go by the book. They go
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: by what they feel or what they want to do exactly.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: There was abusing her power, ye ye, and taking up
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: personal grudges against mcmil. Yeah, that's what's that. Yeah, but
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: having a call to go pick yourself across the bridge
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: fifty minutes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, But it's a different state,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: you know, Pennsylvania, and his son goes to school in
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: New Jersey. That's a different state. So that's out of state.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: So he has to get permission, Like if he has shows,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: he got to get permission to go do a show, definitely,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: oh yeah, and definitely can't go out of the country.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: But not getting Oh that's stressful. His probation office attack.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: And I feel badly for his little boy, you know.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I mean, who wants to see his dad, you know,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: his son, Yeah, and who would be there and the
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: dad wants to be in his life. But yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: you should always make an exception when the father really
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: wants to see the job. They should. They just should
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: make an exception. I'll tell you what. Van Jones is
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: the man, that's who, that's who can help you get
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: the job done. So let's just a press conference. Yesterday
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: he was out there, you know, justice for Meek Meal.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: You know the hashtag free Meek Meal. Van Jones's been
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: right there, Tommy. And one thing about Meek Mel he
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: has some good people supporting him. He really does. Yeah,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: owner of the Philadelphia seventy sixers, the people powerful, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: that can make differends. Yeah yeah. Robert Christian reform and
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: all of those things. Yeah, the owner of the New
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: England Patriots. Yeah, Robert Craft really yeah, I know yah,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: and us us about us yea, the city of Philly,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: you know. Yeah. All right, well, listen, we have more
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So here's what happened, guys.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: A strip club in Ohio is having a sidewalk sale
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: and one of the items for free for free, is
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: there used couch. Okay, so that's why I asked the question. Okay,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: would you guys take a used couch from a strip
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: club if the couches were super nice and expensive? No,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: you know what's been on this couch? Well, I'm definitely
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: taking the poles. You gotta take that couchman, and you
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: pitch all the butts that have been on that neck.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Why would you clothe rocks all the goodness out of
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: that town? Yeah? Yeah, all that all that Lexus Mercedes
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: still Lexus in merced. But man, all the wings has
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: been Man, all the celebrities that sat down on that couch,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: thank you? What is you gonna do with this pole though,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: that's none of your business. But when she get that,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: she'll know, I guess even to kill my dream. Yeah you,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Jeremy Foe, cut that couch up and make a suit out.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Wed have to put some fabulous that. All right. We
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: got more of this foolishness and ignorance coming up at
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: and more trending news than thirty three after the hour.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: the nominations for the seventy first Annual Emmy Awards have
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: been released. They were released yesterday. Game of Thrones leads
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: the way with thirty two count of thirty two nominations.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: I'm not even excited about it. I'm still mad at
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: that last last episode. Man. Stop, let me tell y'all something.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Out of all these great seasons, we had y'all mad
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: at one last episode. Yeah, because of the way they
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: did John Snow. You could have told me he was
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: gonna do this in season four. Surely John Snow is fine.

- 1:18:45Speaker 1: willingness to obstruct justice via witness intimidation. Kelly pleaded not
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: guilty and was denied bond. Prosecutors want to make sure
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: he stays behind bars until the trial because an electronic monitor,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: uh and home confinement isn't enough to stop him from
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: enticing young girls to his own doorstep. This is this
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: is way deep, all right, coming up our last break
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: of the day on this hump day, and then we'll
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: get into Jay's what have we learned today? Right after

- 1:19:39Speaker 1: to just move it on over to Jay, get right
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: into it. What have we learned today? Paying good money?
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: But all right, listen up plans that's the school. Oh
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: we have a whole lot of money for he went
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: to a different school. So wait, I have a question.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Excuse me, so let me hear that again. So we're
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: gonna hit him again in December, right, yeah, yeah, because
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: I'm looking around for Rudolph them. Okay, okay, you know what,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: this is a rough room and y'all a hard and
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: my damn prop thanks again? All right? Are you watching me?
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Every day? When we closed down to Steve Harvey Money Show,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: we always go around the room and find out what
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: everybody has learned. So starting with Shelley Strawberry, Shelly, what
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: have you learned today? All right? Jay? I learned a
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: lot today. But the thing that really, um, I guess
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: struck me today was Daniel Mets. She's twenty six years old.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: She was convicting on a drug offense related to her
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: husband's cocaine operation. Uh, this is some good news. That
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: was really pleasant to hear. She served twenty three years
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: behind bars before President Barack Obama granted her clemency back
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: in twenty sixteen. She got out. She's attending college. She
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: got a three point seven to five GPA. She's on
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: the Dean's list. And then the President Obama wrote her
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: a handwritten letter saying how proud he is of her
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: and that he's sure that her example will be a
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: positive impact on others like her. So congratulations in Yeah,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: Danielle met touched me today her story did That's what
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: I learned. That's what I learned. Yeah, dang good. All right, Caliver,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: what did you learn today? Well, I learned in entertainment news.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: And what I'm trying to figure out is how the
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Game of Thrones thirty two nominations for the Emmy Awards
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: coming up in September. That's what I learned. I learned
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: that today. But I'm trying to figure out how did
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: that happen? Okay, So, so is it bothering you? You
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: don't like it? Said? Oh? Okay, did you see the
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: last episode? Yeah? But I saw. I told you, I
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: saw all the seasons, every single episode. You saw the
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: Starbuck cups and I saw everything. Yeah, it didn't get
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: nominated last comedy. So that's what I learned today. That well,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: I'm really mad about what I learned. I'm like, yeah,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: a little salty, and I'm a Game of Throng fans
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: until that last episode, that last episode, Junior, What you
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: learned today, Well, I've learned quite a few things today.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: The first thing I learned was telling me tried to
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: hill that shirty. I learned that today. That sent me back.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: That's all I know. That's all new to y'all. It's
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: new up, it's before you came on the show. Yeah,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I know it was a while ago. But the fact
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: that his little behind taught to talk to about the taller,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: she's only taller one she with her heels. And the
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: second thing I learned that my friend Timing won't take
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: a shot from the strip club. That is very good. Left.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: I don't know why he worked, and that hurts me
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: today to find that out. But but that's what I've
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: learned today. Okay, all right, last night, least, Timmy, what
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: did you learn today? I learned that I worked with
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: two nasty behind co workers that were buy couch, that
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: would take a free couch from the strip club because
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: it was expensive with every nasty thing on it, and
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: take it to their house and sit on it and
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: even take it and cut it up and make a
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: sup out of it because it makes no sense because
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: the couch is. They don't want to run the purple
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: light overcause they don't want to see what was on there,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: you know what's on nat. They wanted to buy a
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: cow the strip club was doing like a side wild,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: but the couch for free, and they and and and they,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: these two fools think it's out right to take this
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: cow and the little one hit the side. He wanted
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: to get the strip of pole too. Why not? Why not?
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Because because if they're selling furniture on the sidewalk, they're
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: not gonna need them pole. Let's just be honest, right,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: what they what they gonna do? Stand around who has
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: a strip club furniture yards? Saying who do that strip club?
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: In Ohio? The when we read about all right, here's
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: what I learned today. Alright, come on, here's what I
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: learned today that you know, going through what I'm going
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: through dealing with Luke Kemia. Having the ability to come
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: and do this radio show every day is the best
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: opportunity ever. If you get a chance to go somewhere
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: and laugh and forget about what it is you're going through. Man,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: it's golden and that's what this show is to me.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: And I ain't kissing nobody behind us sucking up. I really,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: really truly mean that. You know, it's not often that
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: you get a second opportunity like this at my age.
