Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / PSYCHOTIC: FBI Dir. Wray REFUSES to admit the Hunter Biden Laptop is real!
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: The FBI Director Ray was grilled on Capitol Hill specifically
- 0:06Speaker 1: about Hunter Biden, the Hunter Biden laptop, and the mar
- 0:10Speaker 1: Lago search. It didn't go well for the director, and
- 0:15Speaker 1: part of it is because he couldn't tell the truth.
- 0:18Speaker 1: The House Republican Conference chairwoman was questioning the FBI director
- 0:24Speaker 1: on the ongoing investigation of Hunter Biden and the search
- 0:27Speaker 1: of the former President Trump's mar Lago estate for classified documents,
- 0:32Speaker 1: and I want you to hear part of what the
- 0:34Speaker 1: FBI director had to say forward. Do you believe the
- 0:38Speaker 1: Hunter Biden laptop story is disinformation? Well, I want to
- 0:43Speaker 1: be careful about there is an ongoing investigation that is
- 0:45Speaker 1: relevant to that, so I have to be careful of
- 0:47Speaker 1: what I can share on that here. Do you believe
- 0:50Speaker 1: the Hunter Biden laptop story is disinformation? I don't think
- 0:53Speaker 1: there's anything I can share on that in open setting.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Were you aware that the FBI personnel were in contact
- 0:59Speaker 1: with Twitter darting the Hunter Biden laptop story. I don't
- 1:03Speaker 1: believe FBI personnel we're in contact with Twitter about the
- 1:07Speaker 1: hundred laptop story. Specifically, I think there were people in
- 1:10Speaker 1: contact with Twitter about Russian disinformation efforts of now, let's
- 1:17Speaker 1: just pause. There. You have an FBI director that won't
- 1:21Speaker 1: even tell you even after the whole world and the
- 1:24Speaker 1: and the Biden administration have it minted. Okay, they have
- 1:29Speaker 1: it minted that the Hunter Biden laptop is real. The
- 1:33Speaker 1: court filing show that it's real. The Biden team fighting
- 1:37Speaker 1: back over what's in the laptop again proving that it
- 1:41Speaker 1: is real, and he refuses to say that it is real,
- 1:45Speaker 1: which again is completely and utterly insane. But listen to
- 1:50Speaker 1: this FBI director again. He's supposed to be a man
- 1:54Speaker 1: of the United States government that represents all people in
- 1:57Speaker 1: law enforcement. Clearly not more than a political hack. Continue
- 2:02Speaker 1: to listen of which the Hunter Biden laptop story was
- 2:06Speaker 1: included according to the FBI. Well, I think I don't
- 2:09Speaker 1: know exactly what you're looking at, but I'm happy to
- 2:11Speaker 1: talk about what it is the FBI does and does
- 2:13Speaker 1: not do with respect to social media companies. Were you
- 2:18Speaker 1: aware that the FBI had Hunter Biden's laptop since December
- 2:21Speaker 1: of twenty nineteen. I can't speak to exactly when we
- 2:25Speaker 1: had a laptop available. There is a there is, as
- 2:28Speaker 1: you know, there is an ongoing investigation run by the
- 2:32Speaker 1: US attorney out of Delaware from the prior administration that
- 2:35Speaker 1: we continue to work very closely with, and we had
- 2:38Speaker 1: an ongoing investigation as well, and our Baltimore Field office
- 2:41Speaker 1: is working very hard with that US attorney and I
- 2:44Speaker 1: expect them to pursue that case as far as it takes. Stonewalling,
- 2:49Speaker 1: Director Ray, the American people deserve answers and this is unacceptable. Lastly,
- 2:54Speaker 1: did you sign off on the Mara Lago raid? Well,
- 2:59Speaker 1: first off, it was not a raid, it was an
- 3:01Speaker 1: execution of a search warrant. Did you sef on the
- 3:03Speaker 1: execucution of the search warranty? Finish? Second, I don't sign
- 3:08Speaker 1: off on individual search warrants in that case or in
- 3:11Speaker 1: any other. Did Attorney General Merrick Garland sign off to
- 3:15Speaker 1: your awareness? I can't speak to the Attorney General. Was
- 3:18Speaker 1: there dissent at senior levels of the FBI about the
- 3:20Speaker 1: conducting of the of the search warrant? I can't speak
- 3:25Speaker 1: to internal discussions among the FBI or among the FBI
- 3:29Speaker 1: and the Department of Even though it's been reported in
- 3:31Speaker 1: the Washington Post, there are lots of things reported in
- 3:33Speaker 1: the media I know leaked from your agency. Leak from
- 3:35Speaker 1: your agency frequently it's reported in the washing accurate. It
- 3:39Speaker 1: may or may not be accurate, but that a yield
- 3:40Speaker 1: back there it is. It's the guy that clearly is saying,
- 3:45Speaker 1: screw you. I can do whatever I want to do.
- 3:48Speaker 1: My FBI can do whatever it wants to do. We
- 3:50Speaker 1: can raid anyone's talents at any moment of any day,
- 3:52Speaker 1: and there's nothing you can do to stop us. And
- 3:55Speaker 1: if you ask us about it, we're not gonna say
- 3:57Speaker 1: a damn thing. Now, before I get more of this story,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I want to say thank you and tell you about
- 4:02Speaker 1: our good friends at the Gusts of Precious Medals. They
- 4:05Speaker 1: are different because they will even tell you if a
- 4:07Speaker 1: gold ira isn't your answer, they give you just the facts. Now.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Gust of Precious Metal is all about protecting your IRA
- 4:16Speaker 1: and your four oh one k. They're great people a
- 4:19Speaker 1: great conservative company. They're great people at a great conservative company.
- 4:26Speaker 1: They understand right now that it's crazy with our economy,
- 4:29Speaker 1: and it's extremely important, especially if you're close to retirement,
- 4:33Speaker 1: to protect your assets because there's no time to make
- 4:35Speaker 1: up losses. So if you've saved one hundred thousand dollars
- 4:39Speaker 1: or more, then you should take a look at their
- 4:41Speaker 1: free guide and you should really sign up for something
- 4:45Speaker 1: that I've done. It's a web conference where you talk
- 4:47Speaker 1: to a top individual about gold iras and your four
- 4:52Speaker 1: oh one k Check them out and get the peace
- 4:55Speaker 1: of mind that you're protecting your hard earned assets when
- 4:57Speaker 1: you get really close to retirement eight seven seven four
- 5:02Speaker 1: the number four gold IRA eight seven seven four gold IRA,
- 5:08Speaker 1: or visit them online at Augusta Precious Metals dot Com.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Say I sent you, and they will pay your fees
- 5:14Speaker 1: for up to ten years. That's Augusta Precious Metals dot Com.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Eight seven seven four gold IRA. Now I go back
- 5:22Speaker 1: to that part of that question. The FBI director was
- 5:25Speaker 1: asked if he or the Attorney General Garland signed off
- 5:29Speaker 1: on the raid of President Trump's home. Listen carefully to
- 5:32Speaker 1: that response again. Lastly, did you sign off on the
- 5:35Speaker 1: Marlago raid? Well, first off, it was not a raid,
- 5:40Speaker 1: It was an execution of a search warrant. Did you
- 5:42Speaker 1: sign off on the execution of the search warrant? Finish? Second,
- 5:47Speaker 1: I don't sign off on individual search warrants in that
- 5:50Speaker 1: case or in any other. I want to be clear
- 5:53Speaker 1: about this for me to believe what he is saying,
- 5:57Speaker 1: right there, you would have to believe that he was
- 5:59Speaker 1: on the outside looking in. Okay, that he would have
- 6:06Speaker 1: to be on the outside looking in when the President
- 6:13Speaker 1: of the United States of America, former President Donald Trump's
- 6:15Speaker 1: home is being rated by his FBI. The idea that
- 6:19Speaker 1: he wouldn't know about it is total insanity. The idea
- 6:26Speaker 1: that he would somehow be separated from it, where his
- 6:31Speaker 1: FBI agents could literally go down to Marlago, where they
- 6:36Speaker 1: had to coordinate with the Secret Service on the timing
- 6:41Speaker 1: of this search, and they would have had to have
- 6:44Speaker 1: done it without him knowing about it. That's what they're
- 6:47Speaker 1: asking you to believe. I think we can all agree
- 6:51Speaker 1: there's no chance, shut in hell, that this is accurate.
- 6:55Speaker 1: There's no way that I believe for a moment the
- 6:57Speaker 1: FBI director, when the FBI is about to raid the
- 7:00Speaker 1: former president nited to America, America's a state at mar Lago.
- 7:05Speaker 1: There's no way that I would believe this is accurate.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Yet here we are in La La Land, and this
- 7:12Speaker 1: is the conversation that he's having before Congress. I don't
- 7:16Speaker 1: sign off on that. So what do you sign off on?
- 7:19Speaker 1: If this is below your pay grade? Right? As you're
- 7:23Speaker 1: trying to imply this is just another normal day in
- 7:26Speaker 1: the office. It's a normal day where we're raiding former
- 7:29Speaker 1: presidents homes, unprecedented normal days. Don't forget that this would
- 7:35Speaker 1: be an unprecedented normal day. You want me to believe
- 7:42Speaker 1: that this just went down and you read about it
- 7:43Speaker 1: in the newspaper, that you had no clue this was happening.
- 7:50Speaker 1: You had no idea that it was going down this way,
- 7:53Speaker 1: no clue at all. Really, this is this is what
- 7:56Speaker 1: you want me to believe. I'm not buying it for
- 8:00Speaker 1: a second. I don't believe it. I think you're totally
- 8:04Speaker 1: full of crap, and I think you're lying to the
- 8:06Speaker 1: American people. That is my gut. But the FBI director
- 8:12Speaker 1: will sit there and stare you straight in the face
- 8:15Speaker 1: and tell you this. I can't speak about exactly what
- 8:18Speaker 1: had what's going on with this, and I can't speak
- 8:21Speaker 1: about what's happening with another major story. The other major
- 8:24Speaker 1: story deals with Hunter Biden. At least he's consistent. What
- 8:27Speaker 1: did he say about Hunter Biden and the laptop? Listen,
- 8:30Speaker 1: were you aware that the FBI personnel were in contact
- 8:33Speaker 1: with Twitter regarding the Hunter Biden laptop story. I don't
- 8:38Speaker 1: believe the FBI personnel we're in contact with Twitter about
- 8:42Speaker 1: the hundred laptop story. Specifically, I think there were people
- 8:45Speaker 1: in contact with Twitter about Russian disinformation efforts. Were you
- 8:49Speaker 1: aware that the FBI had Hunter Biden's laptop since December
- 8:52Speaker 1: of twenty nineteen. I can't speak to exactly when we
- 8:55Speaker 1: had a laptop available. Is stonewalling. Director Ray, The Erican
- 9:00Speaker 1: people deserve answers, and this is unacceptable. She's right, he's
- 9:06Speaker 1: not answering anything. Simple question. Were you aware that the
- 9:10Speaker 1: FBI had Hunter Biden's laptop since December twenty nineteen? The
- 9:13Speaker 1: FBI dirt says, I can't speak to exactly when we
- 9:16Speaker 1: had the laptop available. Did you know that they were
- 9:19Speaker 1: talking with Twitter and trying to suppress stories on Hunter Biden?
- 9:22Speaker 1: He says no that I don't. I don't know. I'm
- 9:25Speaker 1: not really sure. I can't answer that question ongoing investigation.
- 9:29Speaker 1: To have this type of arrogance, specifically this type and
- 9:37Speaker 1: this level of arrogance in front of Congress tells you
- 9:42Speaker 1: he knows he has ultimate job security. He knows that
- 9:48Speaker 1: there's nothing that he can do wrong, that they've got
- 9:52Speaker 1: his back, that the Deep State has got his back
- 9:59Speaker 1: that they are going to make sure that he doesn't
- 10:02Speaker 1: lose his job over this, go down over this, and
- 10:04Speaker 1: he doesn't have to answer any questions at all about this.
- 10:09Speaker 1: That is what this really boils down to. And this
- 10:14Speaker 1: is an FBI director that has no problem raiding people's
- 10:17Speaker 1: homes who he doesn't like, locking people up that didn't
- 10:21Speaker 1: seem to actually commit Hainah's crimes like domestic terrorists. On
- 10:24Speaker 1: January sixth, from the new investigation or the new videos,
- 10:27Speaker 1: I should say, we're showing on Fox News channel on this,
- 10:31Speaker 1: he'll raid their houses, he'll lock them up. But when
- 10:34Speaker 1: you have clear, clear abuse of power at the hands
- 10:39Speaker 1: of the deep state and at the hands of the
- 10:42Speaker 1: Biden crime family, I can't talk about that. Oh I
- 10:44Speaker 1: don't know about that. Oh I can't say anything about that.
- 10:49Speaker 1: You gotta look at the full context of the FBI
- 10:52Speaker 1: director's comments today in Washington to also understand a broader
- 10:56Speaker 1: picture of where we are with this government. A government
- 11:02Speaker 1: that I'm supposed to trust, a government that I'm supposed
- 11:04Speaker 1: to respect, and a government that I'm supposed to believe
- 11:08Speaker 1: is actually there to look out for the interests of
- 11:10Speaker 1: all Americans, look at what we've seen from the full
- 11:15Speaker 1: January the sixth video. Our government lied to us, lied
- 11:20Speaker 1: about what happened, light about when it happened, light about
- 11:22Speaker 1: who was doing what, when, where and how on January
- 11:26Speaker 1: the six We now know they clearly locked people up
- 11:29Speaker 1: from January six for years and years and years who
- 11:32Speaker 1: were terrified of their government, instead of having to not
- 11:36Speaker 1: having to worry about being protected by their government, who
- 11:41Speaker 1: took bad deals And I've gone to jail for a
- 11:44Speaker 1: really long time because they had a government that they
- 11:48Speaker 1: couldn't trust. And now many of them that are sitting
- 11:51Speaker 1: there that took these bad deals are seeing this video
- 11:53Speaker 1: and they're going, are you kidding me? But they were
- 11:57Speaker 1: never given the information that the American people are now seeing.
- 12:01Speaker 1: You look at the Twitter files. Matt Tabe, one of
- 12:04Speaker 1: the reporters, an incredible journalist who was chosen to unlock
- 12:10Speaker 1: those Twitter files and tell people what was actually happening
- 12:13Speaker 1: at Twitter. He actually testified before Congress. I'm gonna get
- 12:16Speaker 1: to that in a moment, but let me also remind
- 12:20Speaker 1: you about the FBI whistleblowers who have been whistle blowing
- 12:22Speaker 1: about what happened with Hunter Biden what happened with the laptop,
- 12:26Speaker 1: what happened with the interviews, what happened with the people
- 12:28Speaker 1: that even worked with Hunter Biden who said hey, I've
- 12:31Speaker 1: got information. They met with the FBI, and guess what happened.
- 12:33Speaker 1: No one ever called them, No one wanted to hear that.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Look at what we just saw with the Fiser leaks
- 12:39Speaker 1: and now knowing what the government was doing with vaccines,
- 12:42Speaker 1: knowing how they were lying to you about the effectiveness
- 12:44Speaker 1: about vaccines. Look at doctor Fauci and now what we
- 12:47Speaker 1: know about doctor Fauci and the line when it comes
- 12:50Speaker 1: to vaccines. So let's move to this other story for
- 12:55Speaker 1: a second. Matt tb is an individual who's a journalist.
- 13:03Speaker 1: He is a journalist that many would consider to not
- 13:06Speaker 1: be a conservative journalist, but just an actual journalist. Okay,
- 13:10Speaker 1: And that's good because when you're giving something like this,
- 13:12Speaker 1: you want to make sure the person you give it to.
- 13:15Speaker 1: These Twitter files they have, they're respected by their colleagues
- 13:19Speaker 1: and their peers. Many believe now that the Twitter files
- 13:22Speaker 1: have ruined many of their careers because now people are saying, oh,
- 13:26Speaker 1: you're a conservative just because you went in read and
- 13:29Speaker 1: did stories on what you found which also tells you
- 13:33Speaker 1: how sick the media is. Matt Tebe was asked to
- 13:37Speaker 1: testify before Congress today as a journalist who's been around
- 13:43Speaker 1: for a long time, talking a lot about a lot
- 13:45Speaker 1: of different issues, and he made it clear to Congress
- 13:50Speaker 1: what he found and how shocked he was about what
- 13:53Speaker 1: his government was doing behind the scenes of silence and
- 13:56Speaker 1: shutdown in censor people and the deep state and the
- 14:00Speaker 1: we're sending emails and communications on a daily basis to
- 14:03Speaker 1: get rid of their political opponents. Take a listen to
- 14:08Speaker 1: part of his testimony today when he was talking about this.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Chairman Jordan, ranking Member Plasket, members of the Select Committee,
- 14:15Speaker 1: thank you for having me today. My name is Matt Taavy.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I've been a reporter for thirty years and a staunch
- 14:21Speaker 1: advocate of the First Amendment. Much of that time was
- 14:24Speaker 1: spent at Rolling Stone Magazine. Ranking Member Plasket. I'm not
- 14:28Speaker 1: a civil called journalist. I've won the National Magazine Award,
- 14:32Speaker 1: the Stone Award for Independent Journalism, and I've written ten books,
- 14:36Speaker 1: including four New York New York Times bestsellers. I'm now
- 14:41Speaker 1: the editor of the online magazine Racket on the independent
- 14:44Speaker 1: platform Substack. By the way, the reason why he said
- 14:48Speaker 1: that is because earlier that congresswoman basically said, you're not
- 14:52Speaker 1: a journalist because you did a story that I don't like.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You've lost your credentials as claiming that you're a journalist
- 14:59Speaker 1: because you did a deep dive into actual emails and
- 15:03Speaker 1: documents from Twitter and reported on what it said. And
- 15:07Speaker 1: so she said, you know, he's not a real journalist.
- 15:11Speaker 1: That's why this actual journalists had been doing his entire
- 15:14Speaker 1: life shot back at her for what she said about him.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'm here today because of a series of events that
- 15:20Speaker 1: began late last year when I received a note from
- 15:23Speaker 1: a source online. It read, are you interested in doing
- 15:26Speaker 1: a deep dive into what censorship of manipulation was going
- 15:30Speaker 1: on at Twitter? A week later, the first of what
- 15:33Speaker 1: became known as the Twitter Files reports came out to
- 15:36Speaker 1: say these attracted intense public interest. Would be an understatement,
- 15:40Speaker 1: my computer looked like a Vega slot machine. As just
- 15:44Speaker 1: The first tweet about the blockage of the Hunter Biden
- 15:46Speaker 1: laptop story registered one hundred and forty three million impressions
- 15:50Speaker 1: and thirty million engagements, But it wasn't until a week
- 15:54Speaker 1: after the first report, after Michael Schellenberger Garry Weiss and
- 15:58Speaker 1: other researchers joined the circu to the files that we
- 16:01Speaker 1: started to grasp the significance of this story. The original
- 16:05Speaker 1: promise of the Internet was that it might democratize the
- 16:08Speaker 1: exchange of information globally. A free Internet would overwhelm all
- 16:13Speaker 1: attempts to control information flow. Its very existence a threat
- 16:18Speaker 1: to anti democratic forms of government everywhere. What we found
- 16:22Speaker 1: in the files was a sweeping effort to reverse that
- 16:25Speaker 1: promise and use machine learning and other tools to turn
- 16:28Speaker 1: the Internet into an instrument of censorship and social control. Unfortunately,
- 16:34Speaker 1: our own government appears to be playing a lead role.
- 16:38Speaker 1: We saw the first Hinson communications between Twitter executives before
- 16:41Speaker 1: the twenty twenty election, when we read things like flagged
- 16:45Speaker 1: by DHS or please see attached report from FBI for
- 16:49Speaker 1: potential misinformation. This would be attached to an Excel spreadsheet
- 16:53Speaker 1: with a long list of names whose accounts were often
- 16:57Speaker 1: suspended shortly after. Again, Ranking member Plasket I would note
- 17:01Speaker 1: that the evidence of Twitter government relationship includes lists of
- 17:04Speaker 1: tens of thousands of names on both the left and right.
- 17:07Speaker 1: The people affected include Trump supporters, but also left leaning
- 17:11Speaker 1: sites like Consortium and truth Out. The leftist South American Channel,
- 17:16Speaker 1: teles or the yellow Vest movement that in fact is
- 17:19Speaker 1: a key point of the Twitter files that it's neither
- 17:22Speaker 1: a left nor right issue. Following the trail of communications
- 17:26Speaker 1: between Twitter and the federal government across tens of thousands
- 17:30Speaker 1: of emails led to a series of revelations, mister Cherman,
- 17:33Speaker 1: we summarized and submitted them to the committee in the
- 17:36Speaker 1: form of a new Twitter file Stride, which was also
- 17:38Speaker 1: released to the public this morning. We learned Twitter, Facebook, Google,
- 17:44Speaker 1: and other companies developed a formal system for taking in
- 17:47Speaker 1: moderation requests from every corner of government, from the FBI,
- 17:52Speaker 1: the DHS, the HHS, DoD, the Global Engagement Center at State,
- 17:57Speaker 1: even the CIA. For every government agency scanning Twitter, there
- 18:01Speaker 1: were perhaps twenty quasi private entities doing the same thing,
- 18:05Speaker 1: including Stanford's Election Integrity Partnership, News Guard, the Global Disinformation Index,
- 18:11Speaker 1: and many others, many taxpayer funded. A focus of this
- 18:16Speaker 1: fast growing network, as Mike noted, is making lists of
- 18:19Speaker 1: people whose opinions, beliefs, associations, or sympathies are deemed misinformation, disinformation,
- 18:26Speaker 1: or malinformation. That last term is just a euphemism for
- 18:30Speaker 1: true but inconvenient undeniably, the making of such lists is
- 18:35Speaker 1: a form of digital McCarthyism. Ordinary Americans are not just
- 18:39Speaker 1: being reported to Twitter for de amplification or deep platforming,
- 18:43Speaker 1: but the firms like PayPal, digital advertisers like Xander, and
- 18:46Speaker 1: crowdfunding sites like gofund me. These companies can and do
- 18:50Speaker 1: refuse service to law abiding people and businesses whose only
- 18:54Speaker 1: crime is falling a foul of a distant, faceless, unaccountable algorithm. Judge,
- 19:02Speaker 1: to be clear, what this reporter is telling you is
- 19:05Speaker 1: exactly what we've been reporting on here. He's telling you
- 19:09Speaker 1: that this government of ours that we're supposed to trust
- 19:14Speaker 1: is a government that you cannot trust, a government that
- 19:19Speaker 1: is actually going to silence you, censor you, send emails
- 19:23Speaker 1: to shut you down, and ruin your life or reputation
- 19:28Speaker 1: if you get out of line. This the crap people
- 19:33Speaker 1: deal with in third world countries and communist countries, not
- 19:37Speaker 1: in the United States of America, but now all of
- 19:41Speaker 1: us that we're telling you this was happening, and we
- 19:44Speaker 1: were telling you what was happening because it was important
- 19:46Speaker 1: that you understood that it was happening. It was really
- 19:50Speaker 1: important that people understood that we were being silenced and
- 19:55Speaker 1: shadow bandony platformed and shut down and accounts suspended. I've
- 19:59Speaker 1: ex experience all of that, and if you do it
- 20:03Speaker 1: to one person, maybe it doesn't have that much of
- 20:05Speaker 1: an impact. But when you're doing it to countless people
- 20:08Speaker 1: and doing it to actual stories like the Hunter Biden
- 20:11Speaker 1: laptop story, you are altering and changing elections. You're putting
- 20:16Speaker 1: your foot on the scale. Mister TV. This journalists also
- 20:22Speaker 1: pointed out something else that I want to go back
- 20:24Speaker 1: to as well. He was talking about when he was
- 20:27Speaker 1: going through these Twitter files and seeing the government clearly altering,
- 20:35Speaker 1: manipulating the news cycles, and shutting down people that had
- 20:38Speaker 1: a different perspective than them they thought was threatening to
- 20:41Speaker 1: their power. Remember, none of this was a threat to
- 20:44Speaker 1: the country as a threat to their power. It wasn't
- 20:46Speaker 1: just social media that was doing this. Not was let
- 20:49Speaker 1: me rephrase that that is currently doing this as we speak.
- 20:53Speaker 1: It was all these other app companies that were shutting
- 20:55Speaker 1: down and silencing. Now I own a gun store, I've
- 20:57Speaker 1: told you that before. You guys know that many of
- 20:59Speaker 1: you we've dealt with this with companies that will shut
- 21:03Speaker 1: down your accounts, that don't want to do business with you.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Because you're a gun story, even though you're doing everything
- 21:08Speaker 1: legally right, and that's the right if a bank wants
- 21:12Speaker 1: to silence us. But but think about being an individual
- 21:15Speaker 1: or small business owner. Think about this idea that all
- 21:20Speaker 1: of a sudden, you just because you get on an
- 21:23Speaker 1: enemy's list, just like McCarthy did, you now can't do
- 21:29Speaker 1: your job. You can't advertise on social media. I had
- 21:32Speaker 1: my AD accounts shut down. Had built a business structure
- 21:35Speaker 1: around ad accounts several years ago. And this was a
- 21:40Speaker 1: seven figure business that was shut down virtually overnight because
- 21:45Speaker 1: I lost my ability to advertise because of big Tech.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Their goal was to bankrupt me. Their goal was to
- 21:52Speaker 1: shut me down. Their goal was to make sure that
- 21:55Speaker 1: I was my business was would disappear and they would
- 21:59Speaker 1: hurt hurt me financially. That's what happened, by the way,
- 22:02Speaker 1: with so many other conservatives as well. And they did
- 22:09Speaker 1: this and this is McCarthyism. That is what it is.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I want to say it again. It is McCarthyism. That
- 22:15Speaker 1: is what it is. And a lot of people look
- 22:20Speaker 1: the other way and they think this isn't a big
- 22:21Speaker 1: deal until it happens them. Now, it happened to me
- 22:24Speaker 1: early on. I got the platform from Facebook, I got
- 22:28Speaker 1: shadow band from Twitter, lost five hundred thousand followers overnight.
- 22:34Speaker 1: That's not normal, Okay, five hundred thousand people to just
- 22:38Speaker 1: randomly decide when it's in a moment in time to
- 22:40Speaker 1: go unfollow me. I couldn't advertise and run ads on
- 22:49Speaker 1: Facebook and on Instagram. Why Because I was one of
- 22:53Speaker 1: those they decided, Okay, we don't like him, we don't
- 22:56Speaker 1: like what he's saying, and we're gonna shut him down. Now,
- 23:02Speaker 1: luckily I still had this show. But for many that
- 23:06Speaker 1: were on social media, it was their livelihood and it
- 23:08Speaker 1: was their entire existence. They'd spent years, if not more
- 23:12Speaker 1: than a decade, growing their social media audiences and to
- 23:15Speaker 1: have it all taken away with it because of one
- 23:17Speaker 1: email coming in from one liberal Democrat who says, I
- 23:21Speaker 1: don't like this person. You need to shut them down.
- 23:24Speaker 1: And then to see their business accounts or small businesses
- 23:27Speaker 1: that were shuttered because they couldn't do online business with
- 23:30Speaker 1: PayPal and other organizations. That is the picture that he
- 23:33Speaker 1: is that he is painting here for you. So I
- 23:37Speaker 1: want to go back to that about PayPal and McCarthyism. Listen,
- 23:40Speaker 1: undeniably the making of such lists is a form of
- 23:43Speaker 1: digital McCarthyism. Ordinary Americans are not just being reported to
- 23:48Speaker 1: Twitter for de amplification or deep platforming, but the firms
- 23:51Speaker 1: like PayPal, digital advertisers like Xander, and crowdfunding sites like
- 23:55Speaker 1: go fund me. These companies can and do refuse service
- 23:59Speaker 1: to law abiding people and businesses whose only crime is
- 24:03Speaker 1: falling a foul of a distant, faceless, unaccountable algorithmic judge.
- 24:09Speaker 1: As someone who grew up a traditional ACLU liberal, this
- 24:13Speaker 1: mechanism for punishment and deprivation without due process is horrifying.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Another troubling aspect is the role of the press, which
- 24:23Speaker 1: should be the people's last line of defense in such cases,
- 24:26Speaker 1: but instead of investigating these groups, journalists partnered with them.
- 24:30Speaker 1: If Twitter declined to remove an account right away, government
- 24:33Speaker 1: agencies and NGOs would call reporters for The New York Times,
- 24:36Speaker 1: Washington Posts and other outlets, who in turn would call
- 24:39Speaker 1: Twitter demanding to know why action had not yet been taken. Effectively,
- 24:43Speaker 1: news media became an arm of a state sponsored thought
- 24:47Speaker 1: policing system. Let's go over that. This journalist who worked
- 24:54Speaker 1: at Rolling Stones, who's not a hardcore conservative by any
- 24:59Speaker 1: means is saying that after he got into the Twitter files,
- 25:02Speaker 1: and after he got into the list, and after he
- 25:06Speaker 1: saw the digital lists of people to shut down, he
- 25:11Speaker 1: realized just how damning this was to our society. And
- 25:15Speaker 1: then he said, as he described it there, that's when
- 25:18Speaker 1: he also realized, Wow, the federal government has these social
- 25:23Speaker 1: media companies that are working with him, hand on him
- 25:26Speaker 1: at their beckoning call to do and to propagate and
- 25:29Speaker 1: to push out and or silence any narrative or anything
- 25:32Speaker 1: they don't want out there in the space. Think about
- 25:37Speaker 1: what that means. You don't like somebody, turn them into
- 25:42Speaker 1: one of the disappeared ones on social media. You don't
- 25:45Speaker 1: like a show, you don't like a podcast, make sure
- 25:48Speaker 1: when they tweet about it no one sees it. If
- 25:50Speaker 1: a big tree falls in the forest and no one's around,
- 25:52Speaker 1: did it actually even make a sound? All Right, Before
- 25:56Speaker 1: I get into that, I want to talk to you
- 25:57Speaker 1: real quick about our friends over at Patriot Mobile. They
- 26:00Speaker 1: are now offering a performance guarantee. If you're not happy
- 26:04Speaker 1: with your coverage, you can switch between the three major
- 26:07Speaker 1: carriers four free. Yeah. Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian
- 26:12Speaker 1: conservative wireless provider. They are for nationwide coverage on the
- 26:16Speaker 1: best G four and G five networks, the same at
- 26:19Speaker 1: network and towers you're using right now. The difference is
- 26:23Speaker 1: not only do you get the same great quality that
- 26:26Speaker 1: you're used to, but they actually are a company that
- 26:29Speaker 1: fights to preserve or God given rights and freedoms. So
- 26:33Speaker 1: this year resolved to stop spending your money with companies
- 26:37Speaker 1: that don't align with your values, in fact, actually fight
- 26:39Speaker 1: against what you believe in. Switch to Patriot Mobile. You'll
- 26:43Speaker 1: be supporting First and Second Amendment groups, the rights of
- 26:46Speaker 1: unborn children, and even helping with adoptions. It is easy
- 26:50Speaker 1: to switch. Call them right now, or go online to
- 26:53Speaker 1: Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Or call them eight seven Patriot. You're gonna get free
- 27:02Speaker 1: activation with the offer code ferguson. That's eight seven eight
- 27:06Speaker 1: Patriot or Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. Now, that is
- 27:11Speaker 1: what they did to me and to many other conservatives.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Facebook is a great example of this, at one point
- 27:16Speaker 1: three million followers. Now, I can't get a follower for
- 27:19Speaker 1: a million dollars. I post things on Facebook and it's
- 27:22Speaker 1: pretty much worthless no one season. We used to do
- 27:25Speaker 1: Facebook Live as another example, we'd get twenty thousand people
- 27:28Speaker 1: fifteen thousand watching on a regular basis on Facebook Live.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Now we can't get over three or four hundred with
- 27:35Speaker 1: one point one three million followers. We can only get
- 27:39Speaker 1: our hands on like three hundred people that watch us
- 27:44Speaker 1: when we go live center, Ted Cruise and I do
- 27:47Speaker 1: Verdict co host, right, we put that video up there
- 27:51Speaker 1: as well. And when we put that video up there
- 27:55Speaker 1: on Verdict, we'll get six thousand, seven thousand total view
- 28:00Speaker 1: on a forty five minute, professionally produced show. And it's
- 28:05Speaker 1: the same exact content that gets hundreds of thousands of
- 28:09Speaker 1: downloads an episode, but on Facebook you're lucky to get
- 28:13Speaker 1: seven eight thousand that watch it. What does that tell you?
- 28:20Speaker 1: I mean really, what does that tell you about the
- 28:23Speaker 1: situation and the corruption of the deep state in a
- 28:28Speaker 1: big tech And it's not just social media. That's the
- 28:31Speaker 1: other part. I'm gonna say it over and over again,
- 28:33Speaker 1: because you understand, this is also banking, This is also PayPal,
- 28:37Speaker 1: This is also shopify, This is also things like that
- 28:41Speaker 1: where once you're on this enemy's list of the Democratic Party,
- 28:46Speaker 1: it is incredibly hard to operate. Not just to operate,
- 28:52Speaker 1: I would argue, to survive. You can the amount of
- 28:55Speaker 1: money and time and effort that I spent building Twitter
- 29:00Speaker 1: her up to six hundred plus thousand followers, building Facebook
- 29:03Speaker 1: to one point three million. It was thousands of hours.
- 29:10Speaker 1: It's part of my job. And they said, we're partnering
- 29:13Speaker 1: you for content, and you build content and you'll get
- 29:16Speaker 1: a following. And the more content you do, the more
- 29:17Speaker 1: we're gonna have people follow you, and we're going to
- 29:20Speaker 1: promote you. And then they and then they said, hey,
- 29:22Speaker 1: what you should do is spend money with us and
- 29:24Speaker 1: promote your page and promote your content, and then you'll
- 29:27Speaker 1: get even more followers. And we did it, and we
- 29:30Speaker 1: built this empire that was then shut down with a
- 29:34Speaker 1: click of a mouse and hitting the inter button on
- 29:38Speaker 1: a keyboard. That's what he's describing here. And his final
- 29:45Speaker 1: thoughts to Congress about just how powerful big tech in
- 29:48Speaker 1: the Democratic Party in the deep state is. As he
- 29:50Speaker 1: decided as he was witnessing this as a journalist when
- 29:53Speaker 1: he was going through the Twitter files, was this, I'm
- 29:56Speaker 1: running out of time, so I'll just sum up and
- 29:57Speaker 1: say it's just not possible. To instantly arrive at truth.
- 30:03Speaker 1: It is, however, possible, becoming technologically possible to instantly define
- 30:09Speaker 1: and enforce a political consensus online, which I believe is
- 30:12Speaker 1: what we're looking at. This is a grave threat to
- 30:14Speaker 1: people of all political persuasions. The first Amendment an American
- 30:19Speaker 1: population accustomed to the right to speak is the best
- 30:22Speaker 1: defense left against the censorship industrial complex. If the latter
- 30:26Speaker 1: can knock over our first and most important constitutional guarantee,
- 30:30Speaker 1: these groups will have no serious opponent left anywhere. If
- 30:34Speaker 1: there's anything the twitterfiles show, it's that we're in danger
- 30:37Speaker 1: of losing this most precious right, without which all democratic
- 30:41Speaker 1: rights are impossible. Thank you for the opportunity to appear,
- 30:44Speaker 1: and I'd be happy to answer any questions from the committee.
- 30:47Speaker 1: You listen to his closing statement there and the point
- 30:52Speaker 1: that he's basically trying to explain to congresses. You guys
- 30:55Speaker 1: were teetering on living in a country where there is
- 30:58Speaker 1: no such thing as free speech, and if you don't
- 31:01Speaker 1: say the things you're supposed to say when you are speaking,
- 31:05Speaker 1: then you are no longer a part of the greatest country,
- 31:09Speaker 1: in the greatest society in the world. This is a
- 31:13Speaker 1: guy who now is experiencing this now because now he
- 31:17Speaker 1: is the Democrats public Enemy number one, solely because he
- 31:24Speaker 1: looked at the Twitter files and reported on them in
- 31:28Speaker 1: an unbiased manner. When he just said, hey, this is
- 31:30Speaker 1: what we've found. That's all he did, folks, that's it,
- 31:37Speaker 1: and now they're trying to destroy his entire life. We're
- 31:41Speaker 1: going to have more of this, I can promise you.
- 31:42Speaker 1: So make sure you continue to listen, make sure you
- 31:46Speaker 1: share this podcast please with your family and friends. Right
- 31:48Speaker 1: us a five star review, and we'll see you back
- 31:51Speaker 1: here tomorrow
