Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome in is verdicous center. Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you, Senator,
- 0:05Speaker 1: we got really not a lot to talk about today.
- 0:08Speaker 2: It is America.
- 0:10Speaker 1: First, you got sixty days to figure out what you
- 0:12Speaker 1: want to do, and after that, we don't play around.
- 0:15Speaker 2: What a message to the world with what just happened
- 0:17Speaker 2: in Iran?
- 0:18Speaker 3: Well, this weekend was incredibly consequential. President Trump made the
- 0:21Speaker 3: decision to take out Iran's nuclear capability. Israel had been
- 0:27Speaker 3: bombing Iran for over a week, and yet there were
- 0:30Speaker 3: certain facilities, particularly the ford All facility under a mountain
- 0:34Speaker 3: in Iran, that Israel lacked the capability to take out.
- 0:38Speaker 3: And we talked about this at great length. Tucker Carlson
- 0:42Speaker 3: and I went round and round on this. Tucker did
- 0:45Speaker 3: not want the United States to engage in this bombing.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I believed that we should act decisively to stop Iran
- 0:51Speaker 3: from developing nuclear weapons that they could use to murder Americans.
- 0:55Speaker 3: And this weekend, President Trump resolved the issue by ordering
- 0:59Speaker 3: an inc vitibly successful attack, a quite credibly beautifully orchestrated
- 1:07Speaker 3: attack that devastated Iran's nuclear capability with no casualties on
- 1:12Speaker 3: our part. We're going to break it down. We're going
- 1:13Speaker 3: to talk about what exactly happened, what the consequences are,
- 1:17Speaker 3: and what to expect in the days and weeks coming up.
- 1:20Speaker 1: It truly was consequential and it was one that I
- 1:22Speaker 1: think made not only America safer, but the rest of
- 1:24Speaker 1: the world. And we're going to break down how we
- 1:26Speaker 1: got to this moment and what the President had to
- 1:28Speaker 1: say about it as well. In a second, I want
- 1:30Speaker 1: to talk to you though about Patriot Mobile for a moment.
- 1:32Speaker 1: You've heard me say their name for a long time.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You've probably seen their commercials on TV. So why have
- 1:38Speaker 1: you not made the switch? The most conservative cell phone provider,
- 1:42Speaker 1: a Christian cell phone provider that there is, period and
- 1:46Speaker 1: make a difference with every call that you make, with
- 1:49Speaker 1: every text you make because Patriot Mobile is different.
- 1:52Speaker 2: They actually take a portion of your bill every.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Month at no extra charge to you, and they give
- 1:58Speaker 1: back to conservative cause and organizations and support our First
- 2:02Speaker 1: and our Second Amendment rights. They stand with the rights
- 2:05Speaker 1: of unborn children, and they also do amazing work with
- 2:09Speaker 1: our veterans, our first responders, our wounded warriors, and that's
- 2:13Speaker 1: just part of what Patriot Mobiles mission is. They are
- 2:16Speaker 1: a company that say, if you're a conservative, spend your
- 2:20Speaker 1: dollars with us, and we fight for what we believe in.
- 2:23Speaker 1: The Other thing is the coverage you get. They are amazing.
- 2:27Speaker 1: They are on all three major networks. What does that
- 2:29Speaker 1: mean for you? You're gonna get the exact same covers
- 2:31Speaker 1: you're used to, or even upgrade your coverage, and many
- 2:35Speaker 1: times they can save you real money every month on
- 2:37Speaker 1: your cell phone bill. What are you waiting for? It
- 2:40Speaker 1: is so easy to switch cell phones in twenty twenty five.
- 2:44Speaker 1: You can simply call Patriot Mobiles one hundred percent US
- 2:47Speaker 1: based team from your home, your office and they'll have
- 2:50Speaker 1: you activated in minutes. I know this because I've done it.
- 2:53Speaker 1: And if you're locked into a contract, not a problem.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Patriot Mobiles contract buyout program covers up to five one
- 3:00Speaker 1: hundred dollars per device. You get to keep your same number,
- 3:03Speaker 1: keep your same phone, or treat yourself to an upgrade.
- 3:06Speaker 1: And back to the point, what are you waiting for?
- 3:08Speaker 1: It's time to switch to Patriot Mobile today. Support faith,
- 3:12Speaker 1: family and freedom with every call and text you make.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Don't wait, and I'm gonna give you a free month
- 3:17Speaker 1: of service Patriotmobile Dot com slash verdict or nine seven
- 3:23Speaker 1: two Patriot is their number, nine seven to two Patriot.
- 3:26Speaker 1: You use the promo code verdict, you're gonna get free
- 3:27Speaker 1: month of service Patriot mobile dot com slash verdict or
- 3:31Speaker 1: nine to seven to two Patriot. So, Senata, let's just
- 3:35Speaker 1: talk about the sixty days was the deadline? Uh, clearly
- 3:39Speaker 1: i RAN didn't want to work on a deal, and
- 3:42Speaker 1: there was a consequence for those actions, and it was
- 3:46Speaker 1: the fact that they were so close to being able
- 3:48Speaker 1: to get a nuclear weapon.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Well, that's exact exactly right. President Trump gave a Ran
- 3:52Speaker 3: sixty days to reach a deal. The deal. The terms
- 3:54Speaker 3: he set out was that the deal must entail complete
- 3:59Speaker 3: and total dis dismantlement of their nuclear weapons capability, every
- 4:02Speaker 3: centrifuge being dismantled, being shut down. Iran took the entire
- 4:06Speaker 3: sixty days, and then on the sixtieth day, the IATOLA
- 4:09Speaker 3: announced nothing. We give you nothing. We will not dismantle
- 4:13Speaker 3: a single centrifuge. We will build more centrifuges. We're going
- 4:16Speaker 3: to keep enriching weapons, keep enriching uranium. And the entire
- 4:19Speaker 3: purpose is to develop a nuclear weapon to be able
- 4:22Speaker 3: to use it against Israel, or more to the point,
- 4:25Speaker 3: against the United States of America. On the sixty first day,
- 4:28Speaker 3: Israel began the aerial assault with incredible precision. I got
- 4:33Speaker 3: to say, by the way, the precision of the Masad
- 4:35Speaker 3: in terms of identifying senior military officials in Iran taking
- 4:39Speaker 3: out one after the other after the other. You know,
- 4:41Speaker 3: every person that got named the chief of staff of
- 4:44Speaker 3: the RGC, it seemed within hours they were taken out.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Then they named the new chief of staff of the RGC,
- 4:50Speaker 3: and within hours he got taken out, one after the
- 4:52Speaker 3: other after the other. I got to tell you that
- 4:54Speaker 3: call saying, hey, Ben, you're the new chief of staff
- 4:56Speaker 3: of the RGC. I think people stopped answering their phone calls.
- 4:59Speaker 3: It was almost like they were hesibal a terrorist getting paid.
- 5:02Speaker 3: That was their reaction to it. However, as incredibly effective
- 5:07Speaker 3: as Israel's attack was on the senior military leadership, as
- 5:10Speaker 3: incredibly effective as Israel's bombing attack was on nuclear facilities,
- 5:15Speaker 3: there were certain facilities they did not have the equipment
- 5:20Speaker 3: to take out, and chief among those was Fordau. Fordau
- 5:23Speaker 3: was built into the base of a gigantic mountain, and
- 5:27Speaker 3: it was built to withstand aerial assaults. So at midnight
- 5:32Speaker 3: on Friday, the B two strike package left the continental
- 5:36Speaker 3: United States. Part of the package went east, the other
- 5:39Speaker 3: part went west as a decoy. The main strike package
- 5:43Speaker 3: was comprised of seven B two bombers, which flew for
- 5:48Speaker 3: eighteen hours into the target area. Those seven B two
- 5:52Speaker 3: bombers dropped fourteen bunker buster bombs. Each of those bombs
- 5:58Speaker 3: weighs thirty thousand pounds. By the way, this is the
- 6:01Speaker 3: first battle use of these bombs in history. In addition
- 6:05Speaker 3: to that, seventy five precision guided weapons were used during
- 6:09Speaker 3: the operation. More than one hundred and twenty five US
- 6:13Speaker 3: aircraft participated in the mission, including B two stealth bombers,
- 6:18Speaker 3: multiple flights of fourth and fifth generation fighters, dozens of
- 6:23Speaker 3: air refueling tankers, a guided missile submarine, and a full
- 6:28Speaker 3: array of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft, as well as
- 6:33Speaker 3: hundreds of maintenance and operational professionals. This attack was a
- 6:37Speaker 3: spectacular success. We had no American casualties. The Iranians did
- 6:42Speaker 3: not know what was coming, and suddenly the crown jewel
- 6:46Speaker 3: of their nuclear weapon operation was destroyed, was devastated, was
- 6:50Speaker 3: on fire. Let me start by saying congratulations to the
- 6:54Speaker 3: incredible airmen who led this attack, the fighting servicemen and
- 6:58Speaker 3: women who us their lives this was a dangerous combat
- 7:02Speaker 3: operation and who carried it out with absolute precision. But
- 7:05Speaker 3: I also want to praise President Trump for having the
- 7:09Speaker 3: strength of resolve to say we will not allow Iran
- 7:13Speaker 3: to have a nuclear weapon, and we will do whatever
- 7:15Speaker 3: it takes to stop it. He was exactly right. I
- 7:18Speaker 3: stand with President Trump, and tonight we are saluting our
- 7:23Speaker 3: brave servicemen and women and the commander in chief who
- 7:26Speaker 3: sent them out to keep America safe.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I want to ask you a question, and we're gonna
- 7:31Speaker 1: go backwards and talk more obviously about this attack and
- 7:34Speaker 1: how important it is. But there is a new headline
- 7:37Speaker 1: and a real concern that has come up, and that
- 7:39Speaker 1: is about, Okay, how will I ran retaliate?
- 7:41Speaker 2: Senator?
- 7:42Speaker 1: And one of the big concerns that's really been brought up.
- 7:45Speaker 1: It's being written about right now. I'm seeing articles of
- 7:47Speaker 1: pop left and right on this is the possibility of
- 7:51Speaker 1: Iranian sleeper sales in the US. You and I have
- 7:54Speaker 1: been talking about this now Unfortunately for years that the
- 7:58Speaker 1: wide open southern border was allowing for people on the
- 8:02Speaker 1: terrorists watch list to get into this country. And the
- 8:05Speaker 1: numbers are also I think shocking of how many Iranians
- 8:09Speaker 1: came across our southern border that we just are the
- 8:12Speaker 1: Biden administration. I say, just let them in to this
- 8:15Speaker 1: country and let him walk freely, and we just let
- 8:18Speaker 1: him go. And that is something that every American should
- 8:21Speaker 1: be really concerned about right now.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Absolutely, it is a very dangerous time. And understand I
- 8:27Speaker 3: am not remotely pollyannish about the threats we are facing.
- 8:31Speaker 3: You know. You and I talked in the last podcast
- 8:34Speaker 3: about the interview I did with Tucker Carlson where he
- 8:36Speaker 3: got all agitated and said, well, it could be dangerous
- 8:39Speaker 3: if we attack Iran, that all sorts of bad things
- 8:42Speaker 3: could happen. I don't deny that. Yes, it is very
- 8:45Speaker 3: very dangerous right now. I just think it is more
- 8:48Speaker 3: dangerous to have a theocratic lunatic like the Ayatola who
- 8:52Speaker 3: chanced death to America and death to Israel, who calls
- 8:55Speaker 3: Israel the Little Satan and calls America the Great Satan.
- 8:58Speaker 3: To let a lunatic like that have nuclear weapons which
- 9:01Speaker 3: could kill millions of Americans. One of the things to
- 9:04Speaker 3: understand You know, a lot of the commentators, particularly those
- 9:08Speaker 3: who don't want to see US stand up to Iran,
- 9:10Speaker 3: they say, this is all for Israel, This is all
- 9:12Speaker 3: for Israel. Listen, I agree with President Trump, we should
- 9:15Speaker 3: stand unshakably with Israel. But understand what happened this weekend.
- 9:19Speaker 3: This was not for Israel. This was for the United
- 9:21Speaker 3: States of America. Why because the Iyatola is actively developing
- 9:26Speaker 3: an ICBM program. What does ICBM stand for intercontinental ballistic
- 9:31Speaker 3: missile Ben You don't need an ICBM to go from
- 9:35Speaker 3: Iran to Israel. That's not intercontinental. Iran is right now
- 9:40Speaker 3: firing hundreds of ballistic missiles into Israel. They need an
- 9:46Speaker 3: ICBM for one purpose and one purpose only, which is
- 9:49Speaker 3: to carry a nuclear warhead from Iran to the United
- 9:52Speaker 3: States of America. They were actively developing the capability to
- 9:56Speaker 3: detonate a nuclear bomb over a major American hit city,
- 10:00Speaker 3: whether New York or Washington, d C. Or Los Angeles.
- 10:03Speaker 3: And the President acted decisively to say he's not willing
- 10:07Speaker 3: to wake up on mourning and discover that millions of
- 10:10Speaker 3: Americans have been murdered because the commander in chief didn't act.
- 10:14Speaker 2: This was a.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Threat to America. Now, what are the potential escalations. They're
- 10:18Speaker 3: really threefold. The most likely is a continued and even
- 10:22Speaker 3: an escalated barrage on Israeli civilians. More ballistic missiles being
- 10:27Speaker 3: launched into Israel, targeting civilians, and I think there's a
- 10:31Speaker 3: very real possibility that we will see potentially hundreds of
- 10:34Speaker 3: Israelis killed in the days ahead. That that's Iran striking back.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Israel and the United States both targeted military facilities, military leaders.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Iran is not doing that. Iran is not targeting military facilities.
- 10:49Speaker 3: They're deliberately targeting civilians. They're trying to kill little ladies,
- 10:52Speaker 3: They're trying to kill children, they're trying to kill babies.
- 10:55Speaker 3: They're lobbing missiles into densely populated urban environments, hoping to
- 10:59Speaker 3: kill as many Jews as possible. That's one escalation. A
- 11:03Speaker 3: second escalation that is a very real possibility is an
- 11:07Speaker 3: attack on US servicemen and women in the Middle East.
- 11:10Speaker 3: And we have thousands of servicemen and women's station in
- 11:12Speaker 3: the Middle East. Now, I will tell you President Trump
- 11:16Speaker 3: has made unequivocally clear to Iran, do not do this.
- 11:20Speaker 3: If you kill American servicemen and women, the consequences will
- 11:24Speaker 3: be massive. I spoke with President Trump just over a
- 11:26Speaker 3: week ago, and I said, as President, thank you, thank
- 11:29Speaker 3: you for making that clear. You are keeping our servicemen
- 11:33Speaker 3: and women alive because Iran knows the consequences of attacking
- 11:37Speaker 3: them and trying to kill them are massive. But that's
- 11:39Speaker 3: a second escalation that is entirely possible. We could face
- 11:42Speaker 3: that in the coming days. The third escalation, ben is
- 11:46Speaker 3: the one you referenced, which is terrorism here in the
- 11:50Speaker 3: United States or abroad. But in the United States in particular,
- 11:54Speaker 3: we had four years of open borders under Joe Biden.
- 11:57Speaker 3: We had twelve million Elie immigrants flood into this country.
- 12:00Speaker 3: And I think there is the very real risk of
- 12:02Speaker 3: sleeper cells, of Iranian sleeper cells carrying out an active terrorism,
- 12:07Speaker 3: whether targeted at US servicemen and women, are targeted at civilians,
- 12:12Speaker 3: targeted at a shopping mall, targeted as a sporting event,
- 12:15Speaker 3: targeted at some place where they could commit a significant,
- 12:19Speaker 3: active mass murder. I pray that that does not happen.
- 12:22Speaker 3: I am confident that the Trump administration is doing everything humanly
- 12:25Speaker 3: possible to protect against it. But the odds of that
- 12:28Speaker 3: have gone up, and so all of us need to
- 12:30Speaker 3: number one, be praying, Be praying for our friends in Israel,
- 12:35Speaker 3: be praying for our servicemen and women in harm's way,
- 12:37Speaker 3: and be praying here in America that we not face
- 12:41Speaker 3: a major active terrorism. But secondly, we need to be vigilant.
- 12:45Speaker 3: We need to be watching because it is dangerous right now.
- 12:49Speaker 3: But understand, even if some or all of these escalations happen,
- 12:54Speaker 3: these escalations are less dangerous than what the world would
- 12:58Speaker 3: be like with the Ayatola with a nuclear weapon that
- 13:01Speaker 3: he could use to murder millions of Americans. The chances
- 13:05Speaker 3: of that scenario have dropped dramatically this weekend because of
- 13:08Speaker 3: President Trump's strong, decisive leadership.
- 13:11Speaker 1: You know, you hear the numbers, by the way, and
- 13:13Speaker 1: I just want everyone to hear what Tom Homan had
- 13:16Speaker 1: to say on Fox News Sunday morning. He was talking
- 13:20Speaker 1: about the number of nationals of Iran released into the
- 13:24Speaker 1: interior of this country. We don't know where they are.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Here's what he said about it.
- 13:28Speaker 5: So I put numbers this morning just from a CBP
- 13:30Speaker 5: under Joe Biden, who was one two hundred and seventy
- 13:34Speaker 5: two nationals Iran releasing the country between OFO and and
- 13:38Speaker 5: the Borbtrow and you compare that to the Trump administration.
- 13:41Speaker 5: Zero right, zero releases and right now, because of President
- 13:44Speaker 5: Trump's leadership, we have the most secure border in my lifetime,
- 13:47Speaker 5: most secure border in history of this nation. So we
- 13:50Speaker 5: have a secure border. So that was a President Trump's
- 13:53Speaker 5: big win on secure of this nation. So we're not
- 13:55Speaker 5: releasing people in this country, especially interests Aliens. I don't
- 13:58Speaker 5: crossed that border undetected. But under Joe Biden, we had
- 14:00Speaker 5: over ten million people across that border. But my biggest
- 14:03Speaker 5: concern from day one, beyond the fat and all beyond
- 14:06Speaker 5: the sex trafficking women and children, were the two man
- 14:09Speaker 5: known godaways. Over two million people cross that border. We
- 14:12Speaker 5: don't know who they are, where they came from, because
- 14:14Speaker 5: they got away because Bordatal was so overwhelmed with the
- 14:17Speaker 5: humanitarian crisis that Biden created that over two million people
- 14:21Speaker 5: across the border and got away. That is my biggest concern,
- 14:23Speaker 5: and that's what created the biggest national security vulnerability this
- 14:27Speaker 5: country's ever seen.
- 14:29Speaker 1: You listen to the way he describes this center and
- 14:31Speaker 1: he's talking about look Iran wanting to hurt us and
- 14:35Speaker 1: the possibility of sleeper sells here directly is a border
- 14:39Speaker 1: security issue. And so this brings two of the biggest
- 14:43Speaker 1: reasons why so many people listening to the show voted
- 14:45Speaker 1: for Donald Trump. Why you advocated and supported him and
- 14:47Speaker 1: voted for him as well? And I did too, And
- 14:50Speaker 1: it seems like, Look, Iran is in essence been waging
- 14:52Speaker 1: a slow war on the US and our allies. The
- 14:55Speaker 1: Biden administration was asleep, the EU was asleep, how the
- 14:58Speaker 1: UN was asleep, and advocate for ran now and literally
- 15:03Speaker 1: we now understand how vulnerable we are because of their actions.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Twelve hundred Iranian illegal immigrants released into this country by
- 15:14Speaker 3: Joe Biden. The Democrats in any sane world, every Democrat
- 15:17Speaker 3: in Congress tomorrow would be asked, why did you release
- 15:22Speaker 3: one thousand, two hundred Iranian illegal immigrants into America? Are
- 15:26Speaker 3: you worried about terrorism from the one thousand, two hundred
- 15:30Speaker 3: Iranian illegal immigrants you released into America? What possible interest
- 15:34Speaker 3: did America have in releasing these? The contrast, under President Trump,
- 15:38Speaker 3: the number is zero, which is what Tom Homan just
- 15:41Speaker 3: said there. Look, this is an enormous difference. And by
- 15:44Speaker 3: the way, twelve hundred does not limit it. Those are
- 15:47Speaker 3: the ones we know they released, as as Homan rightly noted,
- 15:51Speaker 3: the even more troubling number is two million got aways.
- 15:54Speaker 3: So it could be thousands, it could be tens of
- 15:57Speaker 3: thousands of Iranians.
- 15:58Speaker 4: We don't know.
- 15:59Speaker 3: We just know there are over two million people that
- 16:01Speaker 3: we have signs they crossed the border and they got away,
- 16:04Speaker 3: they evaded detection. So some combination of those are murderers,
- 16:08Speaker 3: some are rapists, some are child molesters, some are gang
- 16:11Speaker 3: members from Venezuela or elsewhere. And some of those, in
- 16:15Speaker 3: overwhelming likelihood are terrorists, whether Hamas terrorists, Hesbola terrorist, Palestinian
- 16:20Speaker 3: Islamic jihad terrorist, or specifically Iranian terrorists. But the danger
- 16:26Speaker 3: is serious, and I will say this is a time
- 16:29Speaker 3: for law enforcement and every jurisdiction to be vigilant and
- 16:32Speaker 3: for citizens to be vigilant, to watch. And you know,
- 16:36Speaker 3: in the wake of nine to eleven, it was frequently repeated,
- 16:40Speaker 3: if you see something, say something, this is a dangerous time.
- 16:43Speaker 3: I wish it were not so dangerous, but four years
- 16:46Speaker 3: of open borders exposed real vulnerabilities to us. And the
- 16:51Speaker 3: one thing I'll say is I have confidence that the
- 16:53Speaker 3: Trump administration is doing everything humanly possible to keep us safe,
- 16:58Speaker 3: and I think that's important.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Especially now, Let's talk a little bit about the liberal
- 17:02Speaker 1: logic that has been coming out of so many Democrats
- 17:04Speaker 1: since this attack took place. And the people who seem
- 17:08Speaker 1: to be obsessing over Iran's response, implying that their response
- 17:13Speaker 1: is Donald Trump's fault that they're going to respond, are
- 17:17Speaker 1: the same idiots that we're not afraid of Iran getting
- 17:21Speaker 1: a nuclear weapon. Can you explain that liberal logic please?
- 17:25Speaker 3: Sadly, today's Democrat party sides with every enemy of America.
- 17:29Speaker 3: They side on the other side.
- 17:32Speaker 6: Look.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Jk Rowling tweeted this weekend about this person, India Willoughby.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Now I'll confess I have no idea who India Willoughby is.
- 17:41Speaker 3: But JK Rowling tweeted, India a fan of women, hating
- 17:44Speaker 3: gay hating, authoritating authoritarian regime. Color me astonished. So I
- 17:49Speaker 3: went and googled who is this India Willoughby person? And
- 17:52Speaker 3: it turns out, according to Wikipedia quote, she is Britain's
- 17:57Speaker 3: first transgender national television newsreader. Now pause for a second.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Ben Iran murders transgender people. They throw them off buildings.
- 18:10Speaker 3: If you are gay, they murder you and think about
- 18:15Speaker 3: the mindset of a leftist who this transgender newsreader in
- 18:21Speaker 3: I guess the UK is like, even though the Iahtola
- 18:26Speaker 3: wants to murder me, I stand with the Ayatola rather
- 18:30Speaker 3: than America. That is how messed up leftists are right now.
- 18:34Speaker 3: They're like, oh, homicidal theocratic women are pressing gay murdering, torturing,
- 18:42Speaker 3: genocidal lunatics. Those are my people.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It doesn't make any sense to me. And then you
- 18:48Speaker 1: go back to also the quotes that people have been posting,
- 18:53Speaker 1: and I think it's really important that history reflect. You
- 18:56Speaker 1: go back to Bill Clinton, senator and he said that
- 18:58Speaker 1: Iran couldn't get a nuclear way. Hillary Quinton when she
- 19:02Speaker 1: was a senator, Secretary of State and running for president,
- 19:05Speaker 1: said Iran cannot get a nuclear weapon. Barack Obama said
- 19:09Speaker 1: that he cannot get a nuclear weapon. You had Joe
- 19:12Speaker 1: Biden that said they couldn't get a nuclear weapon, and
- 19:15Speaker 1: then they're at sixty plus percent and Donald Trump stops them,
- 19:19Speaker 1: and then all of the lefts like, you can't do that.
- 19:22Speaker 1: You're going to start World War three. This is somehow
- 19:24Speaker 1: your fault. You're the aggressor.
- 19:27Speaker 3: And understand the reason we are here is because of
- 19:30Speaker 3: Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Barack Obama negotiated the disastrous
- 19:34Speaker 3: Iran nuclear deal that flooded billions and billions of dollars
- 19:39Speaker 3: into Iran. Listen, remember Obama literally flew one point seven
- 19:42Speaker 3: billion dollars of cash unmarked bills on a pallet to
- 19:46Speaker 3: deliver to the Iyahtola. That agreement set the stage for
- 19:50Speaker 3: Iran to get nuclear weapons. Donald Trump when he came
- 19:54Speaker 3: in as president.
- 19:54Speaker 1: For a second, and just now, in hindsight, what really
- 19:59Speaker 1: was that was that dal a, Hey, I don't want
- 20:02Speaker 1: to have to deal with you guys, so let's just
- 20:04Speaker 1: you kind of play nice with me and then I'll
- 20:06Speaker 1: kick the can down the road to another administration.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Like, in hindsight, what was that? Why did we do
- 20:11Speaker 2: that deal?
- 20:13Speaker 3: It was radical ideology. You know, when Barack Obama first
- 20:16Speaker 3: became president, he went and gave a speech at the
- 20:19Speaker 3: University of Cairo in Egypt, and in that speech he
- 20:22Speaker 3: said Iran has a right and he used the word right,
- 20:26Speaker 3: a right to nuclear technology. Now that is nutty. That
- 20:30Speaker 3: that is, I'm familiar with the right to the pursuit
- 20:34Speaker 3: of happiness. I'm not familiar with a right to possess
- 20:37Speaker 3: thermonuclear weapons. And at the end of the day, I
- 20:41Speaker 3: think Barack Obama and his entire team came in with
- 20:44Speaker 3: an ideological view that America's role in the world is
- 20:48Speaker 3: fundamentally illegitimate, that we are colonial oppressors. Look, as you know,
- 20:52Speaker 3: my last book was Unwoke, How to Defeat Cultural Marxism
- 20:55Speaker 3: in America. These are the cultural Marxists. They view America
- 20:59Speaker 3: as illegitimate and therefore they viewed that we have no business,
- 21:04Speaker 3: we have no right stopping Iran from getting nuclear weapons. Listen,
- 21:09Speaker 3: the Obama Ran nuclear deal would inevitably lead to a
- 21:12Speaker 3: Ran with nuclear weapons. These guys are not idiots. They
- 21:15Speaker 3: knew that They're fine with that outcome because they believe
- 21:20Speaker 3: America has no right to prevent it. My view is,
- 21:22Speaker 3: yes we do. If you've got a lunatic who's saying
- 21:25Speaker 3: death to America and we have the power to stop
- 21:27Speaker 3: him from getting nuclear weapons, we will use that power
- 21:30Speaker 3: because the commander in chief is not going to fail
- 21:34Speaker 3: to protect America. And I got to say, by the way,
- 21:36Speaker 3: the useful idiots across the globe a You've got the
- 21:39Speaker 3: Democrats today who are all chirping about how dare you
- 21:42Speaker 3: act to stop I Ran from getting a nuclear weapon.
- 21:45Speaker 3: We also had the Secretary of the United Nations, Antonio Guterras,
- 21:49Speaker 3: who put out a statement. I'm going to read it
- 21:51Speaker 3: to you. Quote I am gravely alarmed by the use
- 21:54Speaker 3: of force by the United States against Iran today. This
- 21:58Speaker 3: is a dangerous escalation in a region already on the edge,
- 22:01Speaker 3: and a direct threat to international peace and security. There
- 22:06Speaker 3: is a growing risk that this conflict could rapidly get
- 22:09Speaker 3: out of control, with catastrophic consequences for civilians, the region,
- 22:13Speaker 3: and the world. I call on member states to de
- 22:16Speaker 3: escalate and to uphold their obligations under the UN Charter
- 22:20Speaker 3: and other rules of international law. At this perilous hour,
- 22:24Speaker 3: it is critical to avoid a spiral of chaos. There
- 22:28Speaker 3: is no military solution. The only path forward is diplomacy.
- 22:32Speaker 3: The only hope is peace. What a blithering idiot. I'll
- 22:37Speaker 3: tell you what I tweeted today. I tweeted, of course,
- 22:41Speaker 3: the UN sides with Iran. Clown face emoji clown face,
- 22:45Speaker 3: emoji clown face emergent. The only thing they couldn't decide
- 22:50Speaker 3: is which chant they agree with more strongly. Quote death
- 22:55Speaker 3: to Israel or quote death to America. And then I
- 22:59Speaker 3: asked a simple question, uestion, Remind me again why we're
- 23:03Speaker 3: paying their bills.
- 23:04Speaker 1: It's a fair question, and you've got to wonder what's
- 23:07Speaker 1: the even point of being involved that this is? This
- 23:09Speaker 1: is how insane they actually are, so what's.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Move But by the way, Ben I also observed, I
- 23:15Speaker 3: think Tehran would make a lovely UN headquarters just located
- 23:19Speaker 3: right there. Maybe on the smoldering ashes of Fida. We
- 23:23Speaker 3: can put put the UN there and they can all
- 23:25Speaker 3: get together with their anti Israel hate and their anti
- 23:28Speaker 3: American hate and they can sit there and glow radioactive
- 23:31Speaker 3: while they talk about developing developing nuclear weapons to bomb America.
- 23:37Speaker 2: At least it would be intellectually honest, like where's the UN.
- 23:39Speaker 2: It's in Tehran. Okay, that makes sense.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Look, that's who they This should not be complicated.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Iran.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Like, let me ask you, Ben, seriously, put yourself in
- 23:54Speaker 3: the head of the UN Secretary General. How do you
- 23:57Speaker 3: look at this and say where do I stand with Iran?
- 24:02Speaker 3: Like what thought pressis goes through your brain?
- 24:04Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the upside of doing that? And why?
- 24:07Speaker 1: Especially if you know what Iran just did and how
- 24:09Speaker 1: many terrorist organizations they've supported that are just beyond I mean,
- 24:14Speaker 1: factually accurate hamas Hesbah and the UN's like, we got you,
- 24:18Speaker 1: We're going to cover for you. Don't worry, we got
- 24:20Speaker 1: your back is And that's the reason why I think
- 24:23Speaker 1: it delegitimizes the United Nations to the point where I
- 24:26Speaker 1: just roll my eyes at them. Now I don't pay
- 24:27Speaker 1: attention to what they say.
- 24:29Speaker 3: No, no, they're complete zealots.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Now.
- 24:31Speaker 3: In contrast, I want you to listen to President Trump's
- 24:34Speaker 3: Saturday Night as soon as the bombing run was complete,
- 24:37Speaker 3: give a listen to his address to the nation.
- 24:39Speaker 6: A short time ago, the US military carried out massive
- 24:43Speaker 6: precision strikes on the three key nuclear facilities in the
- 24:48Speaker 6: Iranian regime, Fodeaux, Natance, and s Fahan. Everybody heard those
- 24:56Speaker 6: names for years as they built this horribly destructive enterprise.
- 25:03Speaker 6: Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear and richment
- 25:07Speaker 6: capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by
- 25:11Speaker 6: the world's number one state sponsor of terror.
- 25:15Speaker 4: Tonight, I can report to the world that.
- 25:17Speaker 6: The strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran's key nuclear
- 25:24Speaker 6: and Richmond facilities have been completely and totally obliterated. Iran,
- 25:29Speaker 6: the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace.
- 25:33Speaker 6: If they do not, future attacks would be far.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Greater and a lot easier.
- 25:37Speaker 6: For forty years, Iran has been saying death to America,
- 25:41Speaker 6: death to Israel. They have been killing our people, blowing
- 25:45Speaker 6: off their arms, blowing off their legs with roadside bombs,
- 25:49Speaker 6: that was their specialty. We lost over a thousand people,
- 25:53Speaker 6: and hundreds of thousands throughout the Middle East and around
- 25:56Speaker 6: the world have died as a direct result of their hate,
- 25:59Speaker 6: and particular so many were killed by their general Cassem Solomoni.
- 26:06Speaker 6: I decided a long time ago that I would not
- 26:09Speaker 6: let this happen. It will not continue. I want to
- 26:13Speaker 6: thank and congratulate Prime Minister bb netan Yahoo. We worked
- 26:18Speaker 6: as a team like perhaps no team has ever worked before,
- 26:22Speaker 6: and we've gone a long way to erasing.
- 26:24Speaker 4: This horrible threat to Israel.
- 26:26Speaker 6: I want to thank the Israeli military for the wonderful
- 26:30Speaker 6: job they've done, and most importantly, I want to congratulate
- 26:33Speaker 6: the great American patriots who flew those magnificent machines tonight
- 26:38Speaker 6: and all of the United States military on an operation
- 26:41Speaker 6: the likes of which the world has not seen in many,
- 26:44Speaker 6: many decades. Hopefully we will no longer need their services
- 26:48Speaker 6: and this capacity.
- 26:50Speaker 4: I hope that's so.
- 26:51Speaker 6: I also want to congratulate the Chairman of the Joint
- 26:54Speaker 6: Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Raisin Kane, spectacular General, all
- 27:00Speaker 6: of the brilliant military minds involved in this attack. With
- 27:04Speaker 6: all of that being said, this cannot continue. There will
- 27:07Speaker 6: be either peace or there will be tragedy for a
- 27:10Speaker 6: ran far greater than we have witnessed over the last
- 27:13Speaker 6: eight days. Remember, there are many targets left. The night's
- 27:19Speaker 6: was the most difficult of them all by far, and
- 27:22Speaker 6: perhaps the most lethal. But if peace does not come quickly,
- 27:27Speaker 6: we will go after those other targets with precision, speed
- 27:31Speaker 6: and skill. Most of them can be taken out in
- 27:35Speaker 6: a matter of minutes. There's no military in the world
- 27:38Speaker 6: that could have done what we did tonight, not even close.
- 27:42Speaker 6: There has never been a military that could do what
- 27:45Speaker 6: took place just a little while ago. Tomorrow, General Kine,
- 27:49Speaker 6: Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will have a press conference
- 27:53Speaker 6: at eight am at the Pentagon, and I want to
- 27:56Speaker 6: just thank everybody, and in particular God.
- 28:01Speaker 4: I want to just say we love you God.
- 28:04Speaker 6: And we love our great military, protect them. God bless
- 28:08Speaker 6: the Middle East, God bless Israel, and God bless America.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Thank you very much, thank you.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I do got to I have to say. At the
- 28:16Speaker 1: very end there his part was so sincere about thanking God.
- 28:20Speaker 1: You could tell he was very concerned about the safety
- 28:23Speaker 1: of our men and women in uniform. He was so
- 28:25Speaker 1: thankful for what they did and accomplish. And there was
- 28:29Speaker 1: also I think a warning in there. We hope that
- 28:31Speaker 1: they're done right, that their service is finished. That in
- 28:36Speaker 1: other words, don't mess with us, because if you do,
- 28:40Speaker 1: you may meet these people. Yet again, we don't want
- 28:43Speaker 1: to do that. But if you come after American interests,
- 28:47Speaker 1: we will defend ourselves and we will come after you,
- 28:50Speaker 1: which brings us to the question center. All right, what's
- 28:53Speaker 1: next moving forward?
- 28:55Speaker 3: Well, let me say one thing that struck me listening
- 28:57Speaker 3: to President Trump on Saturday night, which is the president
- 29:01Speaker 3: is old enough and I'm old enough to remember the
- 29:04Speaker 3: nineteen seventies. And Ben, you're ten years younger than I am,
- 29:07Speaker 3: so you don't remember the seventies. But when Iran took
- 29:14Speaker 3: American hostages at the embassy, when the Iranian Revolution happened,
- 29:17Speaker 3: and they took American hostages. Jimmy Carter was president. Jimmy
- 29:21Speaker 3: Carter sent a military operation, a US military operation to
- 29:25Speaker 3: rescue the Americans from the embassy. And not all military
- 29:30Speaker 3: operations happened like the one did this weekend. The Jimmy
- 29:34Speaker 3: Carter military operation, he sent in helicopters, and the helicopters
- 29:39Speaker 3: crashed in the desert with no opposing fire. And it
- 29:44Speaker 3: was a level of ineptitude and incompetence on the part
- 29:47Speaker 3: of the Carter administration. It played a pivotal role in
- 29:51Speaker 3: Ronald Reagan winning in nineteen eighty because the inability of
- 29:55Speaker 3: the president to protect our nation was perfectly encapsule by
- 30:01Speaker 3: our troops crashing in the desert. When the President, with
- 30:04Speaker 3: the Commander in chief, gave this order, he didn't know
- 30:06Speaker 3: what the result would be. It could have resulted in
- 30:09Speaker 3: an American plane crashing. It could have resulted in an
- 30:12Speaker 3: American bomber being shot down by a fighter plane. It
- 30:15Speaker 3: could have resulted in an American bomber being hit by surface
- 30:19Speaker 3: to air missiles. These are dangerous operations. We had these
- 30:23Speaker 3: stealth bombers fly halfway around the world carry out an
- 30:27Speaker 3: incredibly precise precision bombing attack. By the way, it also
- 30:31Speaker 3: could have resulted in one of the bombs going awry
- 30:34Speaker 3: and instead of taking out one of these facilities, hitting
- 30:37Speaker 3: a civilian location and killing a large number of innocent people.
- 30:42Speaker 3: None of that happened. And I want to credit the military,
- 30:45Speaker 3: the military for their precise execution of this. But I
- 30:49Speaker 3: think when the President was thanking God, listen, you and
- 30:53Speaker 3: I have never been in the position of ordering our
- 30:57Speaker 3: servicemen and women into combat and circumstance where you know
- 31:01Speaker 3: that that that order could could literally be sacrificing their lives.
- 31:04Speaker 3: And I think the President was feeling feeling really real
- 31:07Speaker 3: gratitude that this this operation proceeded so successfully. It was
- 31:11Speaker 3: the right thing to do, and even if it had
- 31:13Speaker 3: proceeded with American casualties, we obviously would not want those casualties.
- 31:17Speaker 3: But I think the President was very much focused on
- 31:20Speaker 3: his responsibility to protect American civilians from the threat of
- 31:26Speaker 3: an Ayatola with a nuclear weapon. That's what he was
- 31:28Speaker 3: acting decisively to do. This could escalate further, but I
- 31:32Speaker 3: think the President has laser focused on his job. And
- 31:35Speaker 3: let me be clear, there's some voices chirping on the
- 31:38Speaker 3: internet Oh, it's World War three. Oh we're going to
- 31:40Speaker 3: get drawn into a long foreign entangle. The odds, right,
- 31:48Speaker 3: the odds of American boots on the ground in Iran
- 31:51Speaker 3: are essentially zero. No one is advocating that. No one
- 31:54Speaker 3: wants to see it. I do not believe President Trump
- 31:57Speaker 3: has any interest in American boots on the ground. I
- 32:00Speaker 3: don't have any interest in American boots on the ground.
- 32:03Speaker 3: This was a limited and very targeted bombing run to
- 32:08Speaker 3: take out Iran's capability to develop nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons
- 32:12Speaker 3: they could use to murder Americans. That is peace through strength,
- 32:16Speaker 3: that is focusing on defending this nation. And so the
- 32:20Speaker 3: prospect people are saying, oh, this is another Iraq war. Listen,
- 32:24Speaker 3: I opposed the Iraq War. Donald Trump opposed the Iraq War.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Nobody wants a long American war in the Middle East.
- 32:32Speaker 3: But what we do want is what we have a
- 32:34Speaker 3: commander in chief who is strong and who will act
- 32:37Speaker 3: decisively to protect our nation. That's what the President did,
- 32:41Speaker 3: and I for one, am immensely grateful that Donald J.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Trump is the commander in chief.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Tonight, final question, and this is what is next. It's
- 32:50Speaker 1: very clear there's a warning from this president don't screw
- 32:53Speaker 1: with us moving forward. If Iran is dumb enough to
- 32:57Speaker 1: retaliate against Americans in the Middle East, maybe even shutting
- 33:02Speaker 1: down the Straight of hor Moos, what is the presence
- 33:05Speaker 1: obligation moving forward on that.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Well, one of the consequences of the bombing run is
- 33:10Speaker 3: the parliament in Iran did vote to shut down the
- 33:13Speaker 3: Straits of her Moos. Now, the parliament's not the decision
- 33:16Speaker 3: maker at the end of the day, the Iatola's the
- 33:18Speaker 3: decision maker. So it's not clear if Iran is going
- 33:20Speaker 3: to do so or not. If it did so, it
- 33:23Speaker 3: would impact America, but it would impact China even more.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Roughly half of the oil that China uses travels through
- 33:29Speaker 3: the Straits of hor Moos. A very small percentage of
- 33:32Speaker 3: American oil travels through there. But that being said, if
- 33:36Speaker 3: the Straits of her Moves were shut down, it would
- 33:38Speaker 3: impact America's because it would drive up global oil prices,
- 33:42Speaker 3: it would drive up gasoline prices at home, and that
- 33:44Speaker 3: would impact Americans. I hope that doesn't happen. I think
- 33:48Speaker 3: if they try to shut down those major trade routes
- 33:51Speaker 3: and commerce fruits, I think we will see we will
- 33:54Speaker 3: see force to open them. Up because Iran does not
- 33:57Speaker 3: have the right to shut down the ability of America
- 34:00Speaker 3: and the rest of the world to engage in trade
- 34:01Speaker 3: and commerce. That is a possible escalation. I think the
- 34:05Speaker 3: most likely escalation is going to be continued attax on
- 34:10Speaker 3: civilians in Israel, because at the end of the day,
- 34:13Speaker 3: I think the Iatola and the Mullahs they hate the
- 34:15Speaker 3: Jewish people, and murdering innocent civilians is something that they
- 34:21Speaker 3: believe in. I worry, as I said, about the risk
- 34:26Speaker 3: of terrorist attacks as well. I think those are, sadly
- 34:29Speaker 3: the two most likely the people of Israel. I know
- 34:32Speaker 3: the government of Israel that the Iron Dome, they're working
- 34:35Speaker 3: hard to protect their civilians. America is assisting in that,
- 34:39Speaker 3: and here at home, law enforcement and Homeland Security in
- 34:42Speaker 3: the Department of Justice are all working hard to intercept
- 34:48Speaker 3: and stop any terrorist attack before it occurs. But understand,
- 34:52Speaker 3: these are dangerous times. But they're dangerous times because we
- 34:56Speaker 3: have enemies that wish to do harm to America. And
- 34:59Speaker 3: that's why the responsibility that the President has is so
- 35:03Speaker 3: grave and serious. And I will say, listening to President
- 35:06Speaker 3: Trump speak Saturday night, I think there are times where
- 35:09Speaker 3: the weight of the job really falls on his shoulders
- 35:13Speaker 3: and he feels it. And I think Saturday night was
- 35:15Speaker 3: one of them because it was an incredibly consequential moment
- 35:21Speaker 3: in our nation's history and a very positive moment of
- 35:24Speaker 3: the President standing up and saying, my first responsibility is
- 35:28Speaker 3: to defend America and I will not shirk from that responsibility.
