Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time of
• 0:05
  Speaker 1: y'all don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to
• 0:12
Speaker 1: back down, giving them like a million bucks things. And
• 0:17
Speaker 1: it's not good to Steve Hart to move together. For Steve,
• 0:30
Speaker 1: please don't join joining me. You gotta use that turning them.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Got to turn
• 1:44
Speaker 1: out to turn turn the water the water. Come come
• 1:58
Speaker 1: on your thing, daddy. Uh huh, I show will a
• 2:03
Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
• 2:07
Speaker 1: dig me now. But it only Steve Harvey got a
• 2:10
Speaker 1: radio show man. Instead of trying to be about the
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: business to y'all, I'm I'm I'm doing all I can.
• 2:19
Speaker 1: But you know what's crazy in the efforts that I make.
• 2:24
Speaker 1: I can do more. And my father used to tell
• 2:27
Speaker 1: me something when I was growing up. He says, son,
• 2:31
Speaker 1: when you've done your best, and you've done all you can,
• 2:37
Speaker 1: sit still for a second and just do a little
• 2:41
Speaker 1: bit more. Always remember that, he said, When you've done
• 2:45
Speaker 1: the best you can and you can done all you
• 2:47
Speaker 1: can think of, he say, sit still for a minute
• 2:51
Speaker 1: and do some more. And you know what I've discovered
• 2:54
Speaker 1: in my life. Always have a little more. I ain't
• 2:56
Speaker 1: ever just out out out completely. I can't take another step.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: There ain't another breath in me, There ain't there ain't
• 3:04
Speaker 1: another thought I can produce. I'm never completely out, man.
• 3:09
Speaker 1: Just take a rest for a minute, man, and then
• 3:13
Speaker 1: just do a little bit more. And that that. I
• 3:16
Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times that's helped me get
• 3:19
Speaker 1: over the top. You know. I was watching a documentary
• 3:22
Speaker 1: about people climbing Mount Everest and how difficult climbing Mount
• 3:26
Speaker 1: Everest was and how they have on the hill something
• 3:31
Speaker 1: called like a death zone or killing zone, where the
• 3:34
Speaker 1: majority of people run out of oxygen and they have
• 3:37
Speaker 1: to turn back. Well, what's crazy is it's right in
• 3:42
Speaker 1: view of the summit. You can actually see the top
• 3:46
Speaker 1: of Mount Everest from there. But it's but it's that
• 3:50
Speaker 1: little bit that's left that's the most difficult. Now that
• 3:53
Speaker 1: I forgot all the reasons why they said most people
• 3:56
Speaker 1: don't make it from there, and more people have lost
• 3:59
Speaker 1: their lives in that area. I don't know what it is,
• 4:02
Speaker 1: but the people that make it to the top of
• 4:05
Speaker 1: Mount efforts, they all had to go through that same
• 4:09
Speaker 1: zone or that same area, but they had a little
• 4:14
Speaker 1: bit more that allowed them to get to the top.
• 4:17
Speaker 1: You know a lot of people have had accidents up
• 4:20
Speaker 1: there trying that, So I'm not even really sure if
• 4:22
Speaker 1: Mount Everest analogy is a good one. But let's just
• 4:26
Speaker 1: break it down a little bit more. Let's just talk
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: about life. There's a poem I learned back when I
• 4:34
Speaker 1: host Pledge in its called don't Quit. It goes like this,
• 4:37
Speaker 1: if I'm make a mistake, I'm just trying to drum
• 4:39
Speaker 1: it up, So here we go. It says when things
• 4:42
Speaker 1: go wrong, as they sometimes will, when the road you're
• 4:45
Speaker 1: trudging seems all uphill, when your funds are low and
• 4:50
Speaker 1: your debts are high, when you want to smile, but
• 4:54
Speaker 1: you have to side, when cares are pressing you down
• 4:57
Speaker 1: a bit rest if you must, But don't quit. For
• 5:02
Speaker 1: life is queer with his twist and turns, as every
• 5:06
Speaker 1: one of us must sometimes learn, And many a fellow
• 5:09
Speaker 1: has turned about when he might have won had he
• 5:13
Speaker 1: stuck it out. So don't give up. Though the pace
• 5:17
Speaker 1: seems slow, you may succeed with another blow. Often the
• 5:22
Speaker 1: gold is nearer than it seems to a faint and
• 5:26
Speaker 1: a faltering man, And often the struggler has given up
• 5:32
Speaker 1: when he might have captured the Victor's cup, and he
• 5:35
Speaker 1: learns too late, when the night came down, how close
• 5:39
Speaker 1: he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned
• 5:44
Speaker 1: inside out. It's your silver tint of your clouds of doubt,
• 5:50
Speaker 1: and you never can tell how close you are. It
• 5:54
Speaker 1: may be kneel when it seems afar, so stick to
• 5:58
Speaker 1: the fight when you're hardest hit. It's when things seem
• 6:02
Speaker 1: worse that you mustn't quit. I remember it because I
• 6:07
Speaker 1: had a special method of helping you remember stuff back then.
• 6:10
Speaker 1: But I remember it at that point. My dad has
• 6:13
Speaker 1: kept me. You know, we often talk about scripture and everything,
• 6:18
Speaker 1: and then I don't see how I could live without it.
• 6:21
Speaker 1: But every now and then, man, somebody has a writing.
• 6:23
Speaker 1: God puts a writing on somebody's heart that delivers a
• 6:27
Speaker 1: message man that can help people. I use every motivational
• 6:30
Speaker 1: tool that I possibly can to climb this letter of
• 6:33
Speaker 1: success or try to be the best fall and the
• 6:35
Speaker 1: best husband I can be. I've done a lot of
• 6:38
Speaker 1: changing over the years, and so have you. But change
• 6:41
Speaker 1: is necessary in order to grow. If you don't make changes, folks,
• 6:45
Speaker 1: you can't grow. I was a young man on my set.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: I kept looking at him and a sharp little young
• 6:51
Speaker 1: dude just on my set, and he had these dreads
• 6:56
Speaker 1: and I mean they were they were super long, man,
• 7:00
Speaker 1: they will well below the middle of his back, I
• 7:02
Speaker 1: mean images long. And he kept talking to me, and
• 7:05
Speaker 1: he kept talking to me and talking to me, say,
• 7:08
Speaker 1: young man, kept talking to him, and I said, hey, man,
• 7:10
Speaker 1: you know you do you're a huge self, a favor
• 7:13
Speaker 1: in the business you're in. If you got a haircut,
• 7:15
Speaker 1: you would do yourself a huge favor. I said, your
• 7:18
Speaker 1: images everything, man, I said, you keep stopping me in
• 7:20
Speaker 1: the hallway to try to tell me what you're doing,
• 7:22
Speaker 1: what you are, but all I see is your hair. Now,
• 7:26
Speaker 1: I keep trying to figure out what you're doing with
• 7:27
Speaker 1: all that hair. Man, Now you can feel how you
• 7:30
Speaker 1: want to feel. But I'm like an employer. I employed people.
• 7:35
Speaker 1: So when I'm walking through the hallway and I try
• 7:37
Speaker 1: to think of you traveling with me and you sitting
• 7:39
Speaker 1: in a meeting with me, I try to imagine you
• 7:42
Speaker 1: in your suit sitting there talking business with me. And so,
• 7:45
Speaker 1: just like other employers are, I'm just having a real
• 7:48
Speaker 1: story with you. So I said, man, you ought to
• 7:51
Speaker 1: consider cutting your hair. He said, man, mister Harvey, I've
• 7:54
Speaker 1: been growing his hair side a little boy. I said,
• 7:57
Speaker 1: how hold are you now? He said twenty eight? I said, well,
• 8:01
Speaker 1: how long you want to hang on to what you
• 8:02
Speaker 1: was when you was a little boy? You know, if
• 8:05
Speaker 1: you started growing your hair when you're a teenager. I mean,
• 8:07
Speaker 1: you're twenty eight now. And I said, so, let me
• 8:10
Speaker 1: help you understand something. Let me let me ask you something.
• 8:13
Speaker 1: What does it do for you? He's a man, it's
• 8:16
Speaker 1: just who I am. It's I said, so you your
• 8:19
Speaker 1: have He said no, no, But it's a part of me.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: I say, that part of you that you're hanging on to.
• 8:26
Speaker 1: What does it do for you? I just like it? Well, dog,
• 8:32
Speaker 1: I like ice cream, but I feed that. But if
• 8:34
Speaker 1: I hang on ice cream and eat ice cream every
• 8:36
Speaker 1: single day, my body gonna reflect that. What is it
• 8:40
Speaker 1: that you hanging on to that you don't want to
• 8:43
Speaker 1: let go of? That's prohibiting you from being what all
• 8:45
Speaker 1: you can be? See, it's hard to be what all
• 8:48
Speaker 1: you can be if you want to keep being all
• 8:50
Speaker 1: you was? Don't that make sense to you? So I
• 8:55
Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times I've had to change.
• 8:58
Speaker 1: Change is necessary to grow you can't be all you
• 9:04
Speaker 1: can be if you want to keep hanging on to
• 9:07
Speaker 1: all you was. That don't make no sense. How do
• 9:11
Speaker 1: you go forward? If you keep going backwards? You can't
• 9:16
Speaker 1: stay here and go there? Do you understand that if
• 9:20
Speaker 1: you want to go over there, you must remove yourself
• 9:24
Speaker 1: from right here? Oh? I got right here is comfortable,
• 9:28
Speaker 1: I got right here is safe. But over there's where
• 9:32
Speaker 1: the shade is. Over, There's where the fruit is. Over
• 9:36
Speaker 1: there is where the opportunity is over there is where
• 9:40
Speaker 1: the mountain of goal is. So why are you stuck
• 9:43
Speaker 1: on here? You got to leave here to go over there.
• 9:48
Speaker 1: You can't be all you can be if you want
• 9:51
Speaker 1: to stay stuck on who you was. Change his growth
• 9:54
Speaker 1: is necessary. All let's go. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, playoffs? Everybody,
• 10:07
Speaker 1: let me have your attention. Today is not gonna be
• 10:10
Speaker 1: another one of them days. Today is a new day,
• 10:14
Speaker 1: new day, a new day? What day? Is it? A
• 10:20
Speaker 1: new day? Day? Gonna be a new game? Is that
• 10:26
Speaker 1: a song? Day? Something says a song? Oh yes, yes, yes,
• 10:32
Speaker 1: trying to murder new day brings the reality that song.
• 10:41
Speaker 1: But it's gonna be that? And tell me I heard
• 10:44
Speaker 1: you say nude day. I heard a little naked and
• 10:47
Speaker 1: put a little naked in your day. So that okay,
• 10:54
Speaker 1: we just got here. We just put our clothes on.
• 10:59
Speaker 1: Crack it. It's gonna yeah, a little chilly out, a
• 11:07
Speaker 1: little chilly warm up. As the old people say, walm up,
• 11:13
Speaker 1: how you feel? How you feeling up? Steve, you know
• 11:15
Speaker 1: what I'm talking about, right, they're womb up. It's them up.
• 11:22
Speaker 1: It's any kitchen on top of it and just warm
• 11:24
Speaker 1: it up and eat it, not around with it. Old
• 11:27
Speaker 1: people had a house hot no matter what time of
• 11:30
Speaker 1: the year. I can't. And man, let me tell you something. Man,
• 11:34
Speaker 1: A couple of years ago, a couple of years ago,
• 11:36
Speaker 1: we did. I took my family out on Thanksgiving. It
• 11:39
Speaker 1: we delivered meals, meals on wheels, and we delivered all
• 11:45
Speaker 1: day all you know, to families in need. We went
• 11:50
Speaker 1: into this old lady's house. Come on, a man, it
• 11:54
Speaker 1: was so I didn't now. And as soon as I
• 11:58
Speaker 1: walked in, Lord Jesus, what not you? What is you doing? Downhill? Baby?
• 12:09
Speaker 1: Didn't TV people know you down hill? She went to
• 12:14
Speaker 1: her wonder and looked out the color. Ain't no police
• 12:17
Speaker 1: with you? I said, no, ma'am, oh, lord, you want
• 12:22
Speaker 1: me to call my nephews, I said, for what? So
• 12:26
Speaker 1: they can watch over you? I said, ma'am, I'm from him.
• 12:31
Speaker 1: I heard you was, but you don't. It's what time
• 12:37
Speaker 1: is it? I said, it's twelve thirty. Oh you got
• 12:40
Speaker 1: a little time. Wants you to be gone? You're gonna
• 12:42
Speaker 1: stay till this dog? I said, not he I got
• 12:44
Speaker 1: to do a lot of other house. Oh I thought
• 12:47
Speaker 1: you were gonna stay a while. I said, no, just
• 12:51
Speaker 1: drop this off. I got some more house. That's the
• 12:53
Speaker 1: ten care of I said all that to say it
• 12:56
Speaker 1: was the hottest house I've ever been in in mind
• 13:00
Speaker 1: high life. And that conversation we had was taken two
• 13:04
Speaker 1: damn long. I had reached that age, that hot stage day. Yeah, man,
• 13:12
Speaker 1: it's gotta be honest. Really, Yeah, I remember my kids,

• 17:02

• 17:42
Speaker 1: and be getting skating rinks for your damn party and
• 17:45

Speaker 1: cheap because there's more of them. There's more of them,
• 18:05
Speaker 1: your black classes comply. Yeah, then you gotta get one

• 18:28
Speaker 1: Claus is way cheap. You can't how much things cost.

Speaker 1: They don't understand that they need to learn this year,
• 18:37
Speaker 1: just the real world. They they don't get it. They
• 18:41
Speaker 1: just know that they're too young. They're too young for
• 18:43
Speaker 1: one to learn. Just have these life lessons to learn
• 18:46
Speaker 1: those lessons. Oh, they ain't too young to own the
• 18:50
Speaker 1: eight hundred dollars. Eight hundred dollars, they're not too young
• 18:57
Speaker 1: to ride in this damn Lamborghini car. See the hell

• 19:47
  Speaker 1: Don't don't tell me. I ain't making this hard good?
• 19:50
Speaker 1: Ain't they got everything? Sitting up in here talking. I
• 19:55
Speaker 1: like watching my that's my confession, okay, or ten minute fish.
• 20:00
  Speaker 1: I think we're clear, we're clearly. I think we're really clear. Steve.
• 20:09
Speaker 1: I want to see you want you want one for yourself?
• 20:20
Speaker 1: I put the Jordan one. I mean, dude, you can
• 20:23
Speaker 1: fit in it though. All right, we'll be back with
• 20:26
Speaker 1: the nephew and run that prank. I'm gonna get you
• 20:29
Speaker 1: for your birthday right after that. You're listening to show
• 20:38
Speaker 1: right now. The nephew is in the building with run
• 20:41
Speaker 1: that prank back. What you got, n y'all ain't married?
• 20:48
Speaker 1: Not read it? Hello? Hello, I'm trying to reach Brian. Yeah,
• 20:57
Speaker 1: how you doing, Brian? My name is Daniel. Uh. Wanted
• 21:00
Speaker 1: to give you a call today. You got a minute? Yeah, okay, listen, Um,
• 21:05
Speaker 1: you're you're Brian, um Brian right, you're married to uh
• 21:09
Speaker 1: to Alfhia. Yeah. Hello, hello, yeah, yeah, that's that's me.
• 21:15
Speaker 1: That's my wife. Yeah, okay, got a question for you,
• 21:18
Speaker 1: illtly you guys been married going on nine years now,
• 21:22
Speaker 1: we've been married? Now, who is this? My name is Daniel.
• 21:25
Speaker 1: Were you um? Were you guys married a Greater New
• 21:30
Speaker 1: Missionary Baptist Church uh than the Sea? Yeah yeah, yep,
• 21:34
Speaker 1: yep that's the name of that church. Yeah, great n
• 21:36
Speaker 1: by nine years? Yeah that's right. Why what's going on?
• 21:40
Speaker 1: Let's ask me all these questions? Fuck? Okay, do you
• 21:42
Speaker 1: remember the minister that officiated your actual wedding ceremony? Yeah? No,
• 21:48
Speaker 1: uh right, Yeah, okay, I got the right person. I
• 21:52
Speaker 1: wanted to make sure I had the right person, Brian.
• 21:55
Speaker 1: So I'm I'm sorry if if it seemed a little
• 21:57
  Speaker 1: weird to you. Here's here's what's going on on. We've
• 22:00
Speaker 1: just come up with a new discovery a lot of
• 22:03
Speaker 1: information that Reverend none of his credentials are true. Everything
• 22:10
Speaker 1: is false. He's not a minister at all, he never
• 22:13
Speaker 1: was a minister, and every single wedding ceremony that he
• 22:18
Speaker 1: officiated is basically null and void. So and I hate
• 22:22
Speaker 1: to be the bearer of bad news, but you and Alphea,
• 22:27
Speaker 1: even though you think you've been married for nine years,
• 22:29
Speaker 1: you guys are not married. No, no, no, no, no no.
• 22:34
Speaker 1: You gotta have the wrong person, because then that then
• 22:36
Speaker 1: we got we got married by nine years ago. And
• 22:44
Speaker 1: what I'm telling you is he he never was ordained.
• 22:47
Speaker 1: He's never been an ordained minister. He's not a minister
• 22:50
Speaker 1: at all. So when he performed this ceremony, you're a
• 22:53
Speaker 1: wedding ceremony. He had no right to be doing that.
• 22:56
Speaker 1: You guys are not are not married. You know you
• 22:59
Speaker 1: guys are and living in sin for nine years. Hold on,
• 23:03
Speaker 1: hold on that. Let me tell you something. I ain't
• 23:04
Speaker 1: been living no man. My wife, we have been married
• 23:07
Speaker 1: for nine years. And that man he's a preacher. I'm
• 23:10
Speaker 1: telling he's a preacher. I'm preach land Sunday, Sir. As
• 23:14
Speaker 1: of today, he has no right to be in anybody's pulpit.
• 23:18
Speaker 1: He has no right to be officiating, whether it's weddings
• 23:20
Speaker 1: or funerals, no matter what it is, christenings for children.
• 23:24
Speaker 1: He's not allowed to do that. And we have officially
• 23:27
Speaker 1: stopped him from doing anything serving under as being a
• 23:32
Speaker 1: pastor or a minister. We have stopped that. But what
• 23:35
Speaker 1: I want you to know is that you have been
• 23:37
Speaker 1: living in sin and you don't. We want to try
• 23:41
Speaker 1: and get you guys married as soon as possible, so
• 23:43
Speaker 1: you're not living in sin. Oh no, doc, I have
• 23:46
Speaker 1: been living in no sin. I have been married for
• 23:49
Speaker 1: nine years. This woman ship have been taking care of
• 23:51
Speaker 1: me and my kids for the past Wait. Wait a minute,
• 23:55
Speaker 1: Wait a minute. You guys have children. Yeah, yeah, we
• 23:58
Speaker 1: have two kids, two beautiful kids. Okay, then those kids
• 24:01
Speaker 1: are bastards. Bastards. Hold on, hud on, let me tell
• 24:04
Speaker 1: you something. My kids ain't no bastard. What about your kids?
• 24:06
Speaker 1: Your kids in Bassots. No, Sir, Mikid, my kids were
• 24:09
Speaker 1: born in wedlock. Your kids have been born out wedlocks.
• 24:13
Speaker 1: I'm telling you Batman did my service, and he is
• 24:17
  Speaker 1: a preacher. He's a man after God's own heart himself.
• 24:21
Speaker 1: He hasn't done everything that he could for me and
• 24:23
Speaker 1: my family. He is a preacher. Sir. I know it's
• 24:27
Speaker 1: hard for you to to to swallow the truth, but
• 24:30
Speaker 1: I want you to know, and I need you to
• 24:31
Speaker 1: be able to tell out Fia that you guys are
• 24:33
Speaker 1: not married and not as of right now. No, no, okay,
• 24:37
Speaker 1: so ahrder hud. Now, back in the olden days, but
• 24:41
Speaker 1: before all these all these colleges and stuff came came about,
• 24:44
Speaker 1: you telling me that they're men baking old days, that
• 24:47
Speaker 1: they weren't no preachers, that they weren't meant men after
• 24:50
Speaker 1: the cloth? Is that what you're saying to me? What
• 24:53
Speaker 1: are you? What are you? What are you? What are
• 24:54
Speaker 1: you getting at? Sir? What I'm trying to say is
• 24:57
Speaker 1: back in the older day, baking the twenties and thirties,
• 24:59
Speaker 1: they didn't have all these colleges and all these degrees
• 25:01
Speaker 1: and stuff like these new preachers got these days. That
• 25:04
Speaker 1: man now he was from back then, and God called
• 25:07
Speaker 1: them and that's what they went on too. And all
• 25:09
Speaker 1: the people that they married back then they did the
• 25:12
Speaker 1: same thing to day. You don't need no degree to
• 25:14
Speaker 1: say that you're a preacher. You don't need no life
• 25:16
Speaker 1: to say you're a preacher. Man. My wife will been
• 25:19
Speaker 1: mad for nine years. My kids have been born in wedlock.
• 25:23
Speaker 1: We were married, we were mad. I've read my friends
• 25:26
Speaker 1: and family. Day was all there, sir. The bottom line
• 25:29
Speaker 1: is that that you have been living in sin because
• 25:32
Speaker 1: you have not been married with your wife for the
• 25:34
Speaker 1: last nine years. And your kids, I hate to say it,
• 25:37
Speaker 1: your kids are bastards now O. Now I've told you,
• 25:41
Speaker 1: don't say nothing else about my kids, and I ain't
• 25:43
Speaker 1: no custom. But don't push me. My kids ain't no bassis.
• 25:47
Speaker 1: You understand me. You don't getting the up, sir. I'm
• 25:49
Speaker 1: trying to give you the truth and try to get
• 25:51
Speaker 1: you in here and get you married so you will
• 25:53
Speaker 1: not be living in sin any more than what you are.
• 25:55
Speaker 1: I'm living in those sins. Look now, you don't make
• 25:59
Speaker 1: me whoop y'all a ss. You understand man, and my
• 26:02

• 26:07
Speaker 1: that that man ain't gonna features you understand? I get
• 26:10
Speaker 1: out of my soul, but you that's my life. Those
• 26:14
Speaker 1: are my kids. They have been born in red lives.
• 26:16
Speaker 1: Do you understand, sir? So? I just wanted to call
• 26:19
Speaker 1: and give you the information so that you could probably
• 26:21
Speaker 1: stop living in sin. That's all I wanted to do.
• 26:24
Speaker 1: I ain't living anna saying that's what I just told you.
• 26:26
Speaker 1: You ain't hitting me. I ain't living an no sin.
• 26:28
Speaker 1: Maybe everyone that's living a fist of sin. Now, you
• 26:30
Speaker 1: ain't got nothing else saying to me that man and
• 26:32
Speaker 1: man that's nine years ago, they get you a SS
• 26:35
Speaker 1: on my phone, sir so, I have one more thing,

Speaker 1: of Haiti, Jovan Almoisy. Moisey was shot dead in his
• 32:08
Speaker 1: home overnight, and the country's first lady, Martimoys was also shot,
• 32:13
Speaker 1: but she survived. She's now being treated in a Florida hospital,
• 32:16
Speaker 1: enlisted in critical but stable condition. Forces in Haiti had
• 32:19
Speaker 1: been calling for Moisy to leave office, saying that his
• 32:22
Speaker 1: term was up, but his supporters said, well, they wanted
• 32:25
Speaker 1: him to stay because first of all, they said, he

• 32:56
Speaker 1: or undercounter four. Given the weather, though government Ronda Santacist
• 33:00
Speaker 1: could have been worse. Clearly this could have been worse,
• 33:02
Speaker 1: but you're always better to be prepared, and so that's
• 33:04
Speaker 1: what we did, and we're happy that everyone had all
• 33:07
Speaker 1: hands on deck over the last couple of days. Rescue
• 33:10
Speaker 1: teams say there's no sign that any of the victims
• 33:12
Speaker 1: recovered so far survived the initial collapse. A most tappened
• 33:16
Speaker 1: later overnight, and they feel that most people were probably
• 33:19
Speaker 1: asleep in a bit. The mission has now sadly moved
• 33:22
Speaker 1: from rescue to recovery. Meanwhile, else is making its way
• 33:25
Speaker 1: through Georgia with New Carolina's Donald Trump's suing Facebook, Twitter,

• 33:37
Speaker 1: Trump has now filed the class action complaint federal court
• 33:39
Speaker 1: in Florida, accusing Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube of censuring conservative
• 33:43

• 33:48
Speaker 1: the silencing, and a stop to the blacklisting, banishing and

Speaker 1: canceling that you know so well. The new suits are
• 33:56
Speaker 1: just the latest moving Trump's long running feud with social
• 33:59
Speaker 1: media platforms that he uses to wind up his basse.
• 34:03
Speaker 1: More bad news for former mayor and Trump lay Giuliani
• 34:05
Speaker 1: Giuliani's law license has now been suspended in Washington, d C.
• 34:09

• 34:12
Speaker 1: month for pushing lies about the presidential election, specifically that
• 34:15
Speaker 1: Donald Trump wanted and it was all this fortunate stuff
• 34:18
Speaker 1: going on and sad news. Actress Susanne Douglas has passed.
• 34:22
Speaker 1: Susanne Douglas featured in several movies like The Inkwell Tap,
• 34:25
Speaker 1: but she's perhaps best known as Robert Cownsen's wife Jerry

Speaker 1: most famous ones. Like Fortune cookies invented right here. Yeah,

• 35:14
Speaker 1: white chocolate on them. They're like, they don't Shirley, excuse me.
• 35:22
Speaker 1: Our chocolate is the worst thing you could put in
• 35:24
Speaker 1: your body. I absolutely know that. But it tastes real good.
• 35:28
  Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. I'm sorry, excuse me. You a

Speaker 1: the planet. I have German chocolate, but anyway, it has
• 36:34
Speaker 1: nothing to do with Germany. Uh. It's because of its
• 36:37
Speaker 1: name Samuel German that it's called German. Black people that
• 36:41
Speaker 1: perfected it. Oh yes, hello, that coconut. Yeah, we've had

Speaker 1: real dishes that was created right here in America. Okay,
• 37:25
Speaker 1: come on, what's you guys? Shitless? Yes? Work it out
• 37:30
Speaker 1: whether they want to be a not fright spam, Yes,
• 37:36
Speaker 1: hot dogs and pork beans American dish. All right, there
• 37:46
Speaker 1: you have it you're listening to all right. Sometimes we
• 37:53
Speaker 1: all find ourselves in a conversation, okay, be a political, scientific, educational, financial,
• 38:00
Speaker 1: than hip hop pop culture based conversations where we just
• 38:04
Speaker 1: have no clue, I mean clue less to what the
• 38:07
Speaker 1: person is talking about. Okay, So we'll sure to do
• 38:11
Speaker 1: with sports busted. So do you guys chime in and
• 38:17
Speaker 1: ask people to to get you up to speed or
• 38:20
Speaker 1: do you just not in agreement like you know, you know,
• 38:23
Speaker 1: like I actually get into conversation. I wanted to start
• 38:27
Speaker 1: with you. Yes, I don't get into conversation like bringing
• 38:31
Speaker 1: up a subject or you know, I ain't got nothing now,
• 38:34
Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about it. Engineering making a bridge?
• 38:40
Speaker 1: Oh man, you know, me and my father Man used
• 38:43
Speaker 1: to work construction. You know, I used to work on bridge.
• 38:46
Speaker 1: We had the cracks in the bridge, so I knew
• 38:49
Speaker 1: all about the structural design over bridge and we called
• 38:52
Speaker 1: the fracture spaces in it. And I just didn't let that. Yeah,
• 38:57
Speaker 1: did you or your father go to engineering school? I
• 38:59
Speaker 1: mean engineering and a construction company or oh no, no, no, no,
• 39:07
Speaker 1: Now we work for this company, Frank buddy, Frank Buddy
• 39:10
Speaker 1: contractor have you ever driven over a bridge? A lot
• 39:14
Speaker 1: of That's how we knew how they cracked, you know,
• 39:17
Speaker 1: structural engineering position is what we would take hold was
• 39:20
Speaker 1: the uprooted problem that diverted the situation into a cracking. First,
• 39:25
Speaker 1: he sounds good. There's like a board game like the
• 39:32
Speaker 1: go ahead going car. I was gonna ask him though, surely, so,
• 39:35
Speaker 1: how would you what would you recommend to update a bridge? Well?
• 39:39
Speaker 1: I think update is a very bridge. Golden Bride Bridge
• 39:43
Speaker 1: has been needed updated and repairing. You have been several
• 39:47
Speaker 1: earthquakes as we wreaking the foundation. But I think what
• 39:50
Speaker 1: we're gonna have to do is we're gonna have to
• 39:52
Speaker 1: do a section at the time. I think we're gonna
• 39:53
Speaker 1: have to break that bridge in half. So we had
• 39:55
Speaker 1: this one way traffic going one way, and then once
• 39:58
Speaker 1: you get the one one lane off and then you
• 40:00
Speaker 1: can do the restructure work on the other side, and
• 40:03
Speaker 1: then you reinforce it up under with welding beings and
• 40:06
Speaker 1: how to join them back together. That way they fix
• 40:08
Speaker 1: that whole thing with you mentioned earthquakes, Um, I was wondering.
• 40:14
Speaker 1: You know, we're out here in La what do you
• 40:17
Speaker 1: know that a lot of seismatologists have been on the
• 40:19
Speaker 1: news lately saying there's a possibility that there could be
• 40:22
Speaker 1: an earthquake coming up soon? You agree with that? Four
• 40:26
Speaker 1: point seven? A four point seven? What are you basing
• 40:29
Speaker 1: that on? Yeah? Because Lands was four point six you predict.
• 40:36
Speaker 1: Are you a seismatologist? Buy any chance you have you
• 40:39
Speaker 1: know anybody that is? No, I'm a quake atologist. Yea,
• 40:53
Speaker 1: so far, so good. Yeah, anything just anything I couldn't got,
• 40:59
Speaker 1: can get right with it. In houses, houses, you know
• 41:02
Speaker 1: a lot about house Yeah. I grew up in a
• 41:05
Speaker 1: housing projectologists I meant seismologists. Seismatologists. That's why I said quake,
• 41:14
Speaker 1: because I knew you ain't know what you're Go ahead
• 41:18
Speaker 1: and come. You know you know anything about design and
• 41:22
Speaker 1: airplanes are absolutely absolutely you mean like the engines and
• 41:26
Speaker 1: stuff are inside which one, Well, let's go be Yeah.
• 41:33
Speaker 1: Rose Ross is number one engine manufacturer of jet planes
• 41:37
Speaker 1: in the world right now, now that I believe, No,
• 41:40
Speaker 1: that's from you. Yeah, I believe Rose Roats is number
• 41:43
Speaker 1: one jet manufactured engine parts and motors in the world today.
• 41:49
Speaker 1: And so whatever I'm picking out the plane, always go
• 41:52
Speaker 1: Rose Engine. Okay, what's the best um feat to get
• 41:57
Speaker 1: up um altitude? You want to fly at least thirty
• 42:00
Speaker 1: three thousand, but if you in the old War substantial plane,
• 42:04
Speaker 1: you can get up at forty nine thousand, which did
• 42:07
Speaker 1: at that point you could see the curvature of the Earth.
• 42:11
Speaker 1: I cannot argue this. I guess you're up there in
• 42:14
Speaker 1: heaven almost if nine thousand feet in G five you
• 42:18
Speaker 1: could see the curvature of the Earth ahead the planet,
• 42:22
Speaker 1: so you could see that the world was round. Wow. No,
• 42:27
  Speaker 1: and that's a fact I can't argue with you. Because
• 42:31
Speaker 1: I have new ideas about the thirty three thousand altitude.
• 42:35
Speaker 1: All right, Steve, thank you. Up next, it is a
• 42:38
Speaker 1: nephew switching gears with a prank phone call for today.
• 42:41
Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to sting show coming up
• 42:47
Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Right about four minutes
• 42:50
Speaker 1: after it is my strawberry letter for today, subject he
• 42:53
Speaker 1: wants me but not the children. Right now it is
• 42:57
Speaker 1: the nephew's turn with today's prank phone call. You got
• 43:00
Speaker 1: king of pranks. Uh, work husband, y'all understand that. Don't
• 43:06
Speaker 1: you work? Work? Husband? Wow? I said you did you
• 43:10
Speaker 1: get that? I did you? Yeah? I did. It was
• 43:14
Speaker 1: so natural. I didn't even notice it until he didn't
• 43:17
Speaker 1: notice it scared him. He focused and said, now quark
• 43:25
Speaker 1: one more time, quirk, husband, it's not the husband where
• 43:30
Speaker 1: you have the issues? Yeah, you don't even got to say, husband, quirk?
• 43:36
Speaker 1: Where where where you are? No? I was quirk, husband,
• 43:48
Speaker 1: work stopped blowing for you say it? He went to

• 52:30
Speaker 1: it for you. Here. It is the straw Berry letter.
• 52:33
Speaker 1: Subject he wants me but not the children. Dear Stephen Shirley.
• 52:38
Speaker 1: I am a forty nine year old female married to
• 52:40
Speaker 1: a forty nine year old man. We have five children
• 52:43
Speaker 1: and five grandchildren. Here is the problem my current husband,
• 52:48
Speaker 1: he says, I have. I have five children and five grandchildren. Okay,
• 52:54
Speaker 1: not we oh, okay, here is the problem. My current
• 52:58
Speaker 1: husband is not the father of my children. I married
• 53:01
Speaker 1: this man when my children were young, so he's been
• 53:04
Speaker 1: in their lives for a very long time. My youngest
• 53:08
Speaker 1: son just graduated from high school and we'll be going
• 53:10
Speaker 1: away for college. So now my husband thinks that we
• 53:13
Speaker 1: are done raising children and from now on it will
• 53:16
Speaker 1: be just the two of us. He has said that
• 53:19
Speaker 1: that we don't have to worry about the kids anymore
• 53:21
Speaker 1: because they are all grown and have their own lives.
• 53:24
Speaker 1: So am I not supposed to So am I'm not
• 53:27
Speaker 1: supposed to be involved with my children since they are
• 53:30
Speaker 1: no longer living at home. My children range from ages
• 53:33
Speaker 1: thirty two to eighteen years old. And all five of
• 53:36
Speaker 1: them live in different states. I want to see them
• 53:39
Speaker 1: and my grandkids as often as I can. In fact,
• 53:42
Speaker 1: I'd like to move closer to them. My husband does
• 53:45
Speaker 1: not want anything to do with them period. He doesn't
• 53:48
Speaker 1: want to visit them, and he doesn't want them to
• 53:50
Speaker 1: visit us. He said that they don't need to come
• 53:53
Speaker 1: for the holiday. What the hell he really thinks that
• 53:58
Speaker 1: because they are adults, I am supposed to forget that
• 54:02
Speaker 1: they exist. I understand that these are our golden years
• 54:05
Speaker 1: and we should be enjoying quality time together and traveling
• 54:08
Speaker 1: the world, but our travels should also include trips to
• 54:12
Speaker 1: see my children. If he's really serious, I may have
• 54:15
Speaker 1: to spend my golden years alone. Stephen Shirley, can you
• 54:18
Speaker 1: please help me? Well, your letters started off nicely, so
• 54:22
Speaker 1: I'll put it like this. Your husband, I'm sure, feels
• 54:25
Speaker 1: like he's done his job and it's over. These were
• 54:28
Speaker 1: not his kids. He raised them anyway. He's been in
• 54:30
Speaker 1: their lives since they were really young, so he's done
• 54:34
Speaker 1: and not being their biological debt. Like I said, the
• 54:37
Speaker 1: ties are cut. He has no connection really to them.
• 54:40
Speaker 1: It seems he cut them off and his concentration is
• 54:45
Speaker 1: now on you and you guys the future together. He
• 54:48
Speaker 1: wants to live, he wants to live his life, you know,
• 54:51
Speaker 1: and do all of those things. But now I think
• 54:54
Speaker 1: that he's being very unrealistic when he says the children
• 54:57
Speaker 1: he doesn't want the kids to come and see you,
• 54:59
Speaker 1: or he doesn't want you to go see the kids.
• 55:01
Speaker 1: How is that? I mean, really, that's a bit unrealistic,
• 55:05
Speaker 1: especially if it makes you happy to see your kids.
• 55:09
Speaker 1: You're his wife. He should want to see you happy
• 55:11
Speaker 1: and do those things that make you happy. I mean,
• 55:14
Speaker 1: it's very unrealistic to say that. He really thinks that
• 55:17
Speaker 1: because they're adults, you're supposed to forget that they exist. No,
• 55:20
Speaker 1: that's not the issue, and he knows that's not the issue.
• 55:25
Speaker 1: They are grown and they are living their own lives.
• 55:27
Speaker 1: That part is definitely true. But you guys got to
• 55:30
Speaker 1: come to some kind of compromise in terms of when
• 55:34
Speaker 1: you see the kids and when you go see the kids,
• 55:36
Speaker 1: even if you just go by yourself, you have to
• 55:38
Speaker 1: see your kids. These are your kids, Steve, you're a parent.
• 55:46
Speaker 1: Now he wants me, but not the children, Okay, that
• 55:51
Speaker 1: I can relate to. I don't want mine either, Dough
• 55:55
Speaker 1: God and on any day between the seven of them,
• 55:59
Speaker 1: you can come get just like that. But we are parents.
• 56:04
Speaker 1: You're forty nine, your band's forty nine. You got five
• 56:08
Speaker 1: children and five grandkids. He's not the father of the kids.
• 56:12
Speaker 1: Your youngest son just graduated high school going away to college.
• 56:15
Speaker 1: So now your husband thinks that we've done raising children
• 56:18
Speaker 1: and from now on there to just be the two
• 56:20
Speaker 1: of us. He has says that we don't have to
• 56:21
Speaker 1: worry about the kids no more because they all grown
• 56:24
Speaker 1: and have their own lives. Okay, are you kidding me?
• 56:29
Speaker 1: You really think that's how it goes? Do you know
• 56:31
Speaker 1: that you are a parent for life. You may not
• 56:35
Speaker 1: be a husband or a wife for life, but once
• 56:38
Speaker 1: you become a parent, you're a parent for life. Now,
• 56:42
Speaker 1: there are some good ones out there and there are
• 56:43
Speaker 1: some bad ones out there. I got it, you, sir,
• 56:46
Speaker 1: are about to turn into a bad one because you
• 56:49
Speaker 1: don't get it. You are in your goal in you
• 56:51
Speaker 1: And she said that later in the letter. Your kids
• 56:53
Speaker 1: are from thirty two to eighteen, all of them live
• 56:55
Speaker 1: in different states, and you want to see your kids
• 56:58
Speaker 1: and your grandkids. Matter of fact, you want to move
• 57:01
Speaker 1: closer to him. Your husband don't want nothing to do
• 57:05
Speaker 1: with them, pig. He doesn't want to visit them, and
• 57:09
Speaker 1: he doesn't want them to visit us. He says, they
• 57:12
Speaker 1: don't need to come for the holiday. That's what the
• 57:18
Speaker 1: lady type, don't need to come for the holidays. What
• 57:21
Speaker 1: the hell? What the hell is right? Come home? Man?
• 57:25
Speaker 1: Are you for real? Bro? You're gonna just act like
• 57:28
Speaker 1: you never met these people. He gotta come home. He's
• 57:32
Speaker 1: not ready to live on his own. And I got that.
• 57:36
Speaker 1: The kids range from thirty two to eighteen. Man, do
• 57:40
Speaker 1: you know how much advice they need? So how much
• 57:42
Speaker 1: help they need, financial support they need? Come home, man,
• 57:46
Speaker 1: That ain't how this work. Man, you crazy? And he
• 57:48
Speaker 1: don't want them to visit. He don't want him to
• 57:50
Speaker 1: come for the holidays. What the hell? He thinks that
• 57:53
Speaker 1: because they are adults, I'm supposed to forget that they exist.
• 57:57
Speaker 1: That's the craziest part of them. You gotta be nuts.
• 58:01
Speaker 1: It doesn't work that way. Come on, man, I understand
• 58:05
Speaker 1: that these are our golden years. You ain't before to nine. Hell, goldie,
• 58:12
Speaker 1: But if that's how you want to look at it, okay, cool,
• 58:14
Speaker 1: And that we should be enjoying quality time together and
• 58:16
Speaker 1: traveling the world. Plans should also include trips to see
• 58:20
Speaker 1: my children. If he's really serious, I may have spend
• 58:23
Speaker 1: my golden years alone. We will be back in kids.
• 58:27
Speaker 1: What you say, Steve's all right, We will be back
• 58:33
Speaker 1: at twenty three after with part two of Steve's response too,
• 58:37
Speaker 1: he wants me but not the children right after this.
• 58:41
Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve. Here we are part two
• 58:47
Speaker 1: of today's Strawberry letter. The subject he wants me but
• 58:51
Speaker 1: not the children. Wow. Well, the youngest one and graduated.
• 58:55
Speaker 1: The boy is five kids, none of him. He is
• 58:59
Speaker 1: now he gonna why they graduated? They're gone. We threw
• 59:01
Speaker 1: it in they out. He's saying, no, they have their
• 59:06
Speaker 1: own lives. They're adults. They should be able to make
• 59:08
Speaker 1: it on their own. I want to see my grandkids
• 59:11
Speaker 1: as offer I can. It's what the woman says. In fact,
• 59:14
Speaker 1: I want to move closer to him. My husband doesn't
• 59:16
Speaker 1: want anything to do with them period. He don't want
• 59:18
Speaker 1: to visit them. He don't want them to visit us.
• 59:21
Speaker 1: He said they don't need to come for the holiday
• 59:24
Speaker 1: to him. The ladies said, what to hell, No, we
• 59:29
Speaker 1: don't come for the holidays. What is Christmas? About exactly.
• 59:34
Speaker 1: He really thinks that because they're adults, I'm supposed to
• 59:36
Speaker 1: forget they exist. I understand that these are golden years
• 59:39
Speaker 1: and we should be enjoying quality time together and traveling
• 59:42
Speaker 1: the world. But I traveled playing to be called trips
• 59:44
Speaker 1: to see my children. He's really serious. I may have
• 59:47
Speaker 1: spend my golden years along Stephen Sherley. Can you please
• 59:50
Speaker 1: help me? He wants to check out. In essence, he
• 59:54
Speaker 1: wants to check out. He wants to say that I've
• 59:57
Speaker 1: done my duty. I raised these kids to the best
• 1:00:01
Speaker 1: of my ability. I've contributed, and now they're gone. That's it.
• 1:00:05
Speaker 1: I'm chilling. I wish that was the case. But honey,
• 1:00:12
Speaker 1: why don't you want to see the kids? I mean,
• 1:00:15
Speaker 1: did something happen? We've already seen the kids. Well, yeah,
• 1:00:18
Speaker 1: you've seen them since they were young, I mean, and
• 1:00:21
Speaker 1: they live their own lives now. I saw all I
• 1:00:24
Speaker 1: needed to see when they was here. I'm tied. I've
• 1:00:27
Speaker 1: been working, paying bill, putting key to college, and were
• 1:00:30
Speaker 1: covering up dream I bought that born a carbon machine.
• 1:00:32
Speaker 1: All that old and honey, we appreciated so much. But
• 1:00:37
Speaker 1: these are my kids. I have to see them on
• 1:00:39
Speaker 1: the holidays. That's what the holidays are. Four family holidays. Yes,
• 1:00:43
Speaker 1: family like Thanksgiving, like Christmas, like Thanksgiving, like Christmas. We
• 1:00:50

• 1:01:13
Speaker 1: of them in a national school. But he I want
• 1:01:18

• 1:01:21
Speaker 1: for nine months. This is my blood. See, you raised
• 1:01:24
Speaker 1: and the kids to be none but chumps. That wrong

• 1:12:07
Speaker 1: wow yeah wow, nineteen eighty five. I can't wait ahead
• 1:12:15
Speaker 1: in front. All right, we'll be back with more of
• 1:12:17
Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after. You're listening to
• 1:12:22
Speaker 1: the Steven Show. All right, Carla, um me and just
• 1:12:29
Speaker 1: some you know, just some random girls were talking. Um
• 1:12:33
Speaker 1: we this question came up. It's like, because you know,
• 1:12:37
Speaker 1: we were taught to make up the bed when we
• 1:12:39
Speaker 1: get out, make up the bed. No when it wants
• 1:12:41
Speaker 1: to come home to an unmade bed. But it's difficult
• 1:12:45
Speaker 1: if you're married, or if you live with someone you
• 1:12:47
Speaker 1: sleep with them. What if you have to get up earlier.
• 1:12:50
Speaker 1: So the question is whose responsibility is it to make
• 1:12:53
Speaker 1: up the bed? You know, no more of that. Just
• 1:12:55
Speaker 1: because you're a woman and you're in charge of the house,
• 1:12:57
Speaker 1: you make it up. Excuse me, no, right right right right, yeah,
• 1:13:02
Speaker 1: But in our house it's whoever is last, whoever gets
• 1:13:05
Speaker 1: up last. If I get up first, then you know,
• 1:13:08
Speaker 1: Nesto has to make up the bed and he makes
• 1:13:10
Speaker 1: it up really well. I must say, oh, really well,
• 1:13:14
Speaker 1: Nesto needs to call my husband because he ain't making
• 1:13:19
Speaker 1: up the bed like that. He will get now, you know,
• 1:13:21
Speaker 1: because we have to be to work so early. Of
• 1:13:23
Speaker 1: course we I get up first, but he gets up
• 1:13:27
Speaker 1: early too. He'll go to the gym and all that
• 1:13:29
Speaker 1: to make sure I'm up. And but now, child, I
• 1:13:32
Speaker 1: got to come right back in there and make up
• 1:13:34
Speaker 1: the bed. Just sad, just sad. But let me let
• 1:13:38
Speaker 1: me I've fussed and nagged enough. Okay, he ain't gotten
• 1:13:42
Speaker 1: it just right? All right, hey, listen, follow us, yes,
• 1:13:45
Speaker 1: follow us on social media. I'm on the Gram at
• 1:13:48
Speaker 1: my Girl Shirley and I'm at Lips by Carla. Don't worry,
• 1:13:52
Speaker 1: we'll post our bedrooms. I'll post the bed yeah, all right,
• 1:14:00
Speaker 1: all right. We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
• 1:14:02
Speaker 1: Show Makeup You're Bad coming up in thirty three minutes
• 1:14:06
Speaker 1: after the hour right after this you're listening to show.
• 1:14:11
Speaker 1: We here at the Steve Harvey Morning Show love food,
• 1:14:14
Speaker 1: all of us. But there are a lot of foods
• 1:14:16
Speaker 1: we think are from other countries that are actually invented
• 1:14:19
Speaker 1: in the good old USA. And those are some of
• 1:14:22
Speaker 1: the most famous ones. Like fortune cookies invented right here. Yeah,
• 1:14:27
Speaker 1: it was actually invented in San Francisco by a Japanese
• 1:14:30
Speaker 1: American baker. Did not I did? They don't taste good.
• 1:14:40
Speaker 1: I like them with chocolate, white chocolate on them, and
• 1:14:44
Speaker 1: they're good. They don't know surely, surely excuse me. Our
• 1:14:50
Speaker 1: chocolate is the worst thing you could put in your body.
• 1:14:53
Speaker 1: I absolutely know that. But it tastes real good. That's
• 1:14:56
Speaker 1: all I'm saying. I'm sorry, you a very wonderful health reason,
• 1:15:02
Speaker 1: and you just destroyed it. I know that I don't
• 1:15:08
Speaker 1: eat it now, but yeah I used to, and it's
• 1:15:10
Speaker 1: delicious orange chicken. How about that one? That's good? Yeah?
• 1:15:15
Speaker 1: It was created in Hawaii in nineteen eighty seven by
• 1:15:19
Speaker 1: Panda Express chef Andy Ko or Kyle Cool. I didn't
• 1:15:24
Speaker 1: know that. I didn't know who came up with them,
• 1:15:32
Speaker 1: that custation. Who came up with them? They can copy it.
• 1:15:40
Speaker 1: German chocolate cake, my mama, Mama, yeah, my mama. I
• 1:15:48
Speaker 1: don't know who made it before. I don't know who
• 1:15:51
Speaker 1: made it before. Anybody make it like Hurdle it lost
• 1:15:54
Speaker 1: Vera Harvey, greatest piece of German chocolate cake on the planet.
• 1:15:59
Speaker 1: I have German chocolate. But anyway, it has nothing to
• 1:16:04
Speaker 1: do with Germany. Uh, it's because of its name Samuel
• 1:16:08
Speaker 1: German that it's called German. Black people that perfected it.
• 1:16:12
Speaker 1: Oh yes, hello that coconut. Yeah, we've had a lot
• 1:16:22
Speaker 1: taken from us, so hey, ride of that we took,
• 1:16:29
Speaker 1: we took. Okay, okay, I love German k all right.
• 1:16:35
Speaker 1: English muffins English muffins from England, from England. They were
• 1:16:42
Speaker 1: actually invented in New York City in nineteen eighty four
• 1:16:44
Speaker 1: by English immigrant Samuel Bass Thomas. They were rich, they were.
• 1:16:51
Speaker 1: Let me give you some real dishes that was created
• 1:16:54
Speaker 1: right here in a mirror. Okay, come on, what's you guys? Shitlands? Yes,
• 1:17:00
Speaker 1: work it out, whether they want to be a night
• 1:17:03
Speaker 1: fright spram Yes, hot dogs and parking beans American dish.
• 1:17:17
Speaker 1: All right, there you have it. All right, we're coming
• 1:17:20
Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. As
• 1:17:22
Speaker 1: a matter of fact, this is our last break of
• 1:17:24
Speaker 1: the day. Steve's closing remarks. You don't want to miss it.
• 1:17:27
Speaker 1: It's been a good day. We'll be back at forty
• 1:17:30
Speaker 1: nine after the hour right after this. You're listening to show.
• 1:17:36
Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Here we are last break of the
• 1:17:38
Speaker 1: day on this Thursday. UM, take us home with some
• 1:17:43
Speaker 1: closing remarks. I think the best way for me always
• 1:17:46
Speaker 1: is to just be open and honest about my own
• 1:17:51
Speaker 1: experiences in my own life. Somebody asked me yesterday, It said, man,
• 1:18:03
Speaker 1: how do you do it? How do you keep going
• 1:18:09
Speaker 1: when things seem to be going so contrary to I'm
• 1:18:13
Speaker 1: sure the way you wanted to go? And of course,
• 1:18:17
Speaker 1: you know I always kind of have an idea what
• 1:18:20
Speaker 1: people are talking about, even though I don't address the
• 1:18:23
Speaker 1: majority of it. But the question was a sincere question,
• 1:18:28
Speaker 1: and they weren't saying it to me to be mean
• 1:18:30
Speaker 1: or to get a conversation started. They were seriously asking me, man,
• 1:18:35
Speaker 1: how do you keep going? How do you manage to
• 1:18:39
Speaker 1: just show up and do your job anyway? When so
• 1:18:44
Speaker 1: many things around you seem to be swirling, so many
• 1:18:49
Speaker 1: things being said, conversations anything. I said, Well, here's the deal.
• 1:18:58
Speaker 1: I have been able to survive all the things in
• 1:19:01
Speaker 1: my life because of my faith. I'm just being honest
• 1:19:08
Speaker 1: with you. If God did not love me the way
• 1:19:12
Speaker 1: he does, if God did not give me an extend
• 1:19:18
Speaker 1: to me his grace and his mercy the way he does,
• 1:19:24
Speaker 1: I don't know how I would make it. But because
• 1:19:29
Speaker 1: I have this unwavering faith, the belief in things that
• 1:19:35
Speaker 1: I cannot see, because I understand that He covers me.
• 1:19:41
Speaker 1: I understand that Isaiah fifty four seventeen exists. I understand
• 1:19:47
Speaker 1: that Isaiah forty three one in two exists. That I
• 1:19:50
Speaker 1: can walk through the waters and rivers and not drown,
• 1:19:54
Speaker 1: and walk through fire and will not be burned, Nor
• 1:19:57
Speaker 1: what kindling set upon my clothing. Understand that no weapon
• 1:20:01
Speaker 1: formed against me shall prosper. I understand that there are
• 1:20:08
Speaker 1: principalities at work all the time. I understand that the
• 1:20:12
Speaker 1: devil's job is to rob me and you of our destiny,
• 1:20:18
Speaker 1: and he would challenge that any way he can. If
• 1:20:23
Speaker 1: he can't get through to you, he will get through
• 1:20:26
Speaker 1: to someone you love. If he can't get through to you,
• 1:20:30
Speaker 1: he will get through to somebody you care about. If
• 1:20:34
Speaker 1: he can't get through to you, he'll come through a
• 1:20:36
Speaker 1: co worker. If he can't get through to you, he'll
• 1:20:39
Speaker 1: come through a supervisor. If he can't get through to you,
• 1:20:43
Speaker 1: he'll use social media and ego find a way to
• 1:20:47
Speaker 1: get to you, to shake your faith. The thing that
• 1:20:52
Speaker 1: maintains me in all of it is my unwavering faith
• 1:20:57
Speaker 1: in him. That God's promises are true. That he promised
• 1:21:02
Speaker 1: never to leave me, that he promised that he would
• 1:21:06
Speaker 1: be that and ever present presence in my life. That
• 1:21:12
Speaker 1: he would always never forsake me. That when it looks
• 1:21:18
Speaker 1: like it's going all wrong, that He is behind the
• 1:21:21
Speaker 1: scenes working on my behalf and behind the scenes working
• 1:21:25
Speaker 1: on your behalf. That relationship that I formed over the
• 1:21:31
Speaker 1: years with God, that I've tightened up this year is
• 1:21:34
Speaker 1: the reason I can stand and face all of my
• 1:21:38
Speaker 1: trials and tribulations and stand strong and still go to
• 1:21:42
Speaker 1: work and keep a smile on my face and keep
• 1:21:45
Speaker 1: moving forward. The fact that I handle my triumphs and
• 1:21:49
Speaker 1: my tragedies the exact same way. The fact that you
• 1:21:53
Speaker 1: can't look at me and see no signs or struggle
• 1:21:57
Speaker 1: on me, it is because of my unwavering faith. The
• 1:22:02
Speaker 1: reason my faith is able to stay so strong is
• 1:22:06
Speaker 1: because I've discovered in my sixty two years of living
• 1:22:10
Speaker 1: that God has kept me even in moments when I
• 1:22:14
Speaker 1: didn't know how I was going to be able to
• 1:22:15
Speaker 1: keep myself. Because when you have a relationship with God
• 1:22:21
Speaker 1: and you leaning on his promises, and all of his
• 1:22:24
Speaker 1: promises are true, what do you have to worry about?
• 1:22:27
Speaker 1: What can man do to you? If God is with you,
• 1:22:32
Speaker 1: who can be against you? Who? What problem or what
• 1:22:38
Speaker 1: person can you name or come up with as greater
• 1:22:41
  Speaker 1: than God? I can't. I can't think of anything. What
• 1:22:45
Speaker 1: problem do you have that's bigger than God? I can't
• 1:22:51
Speaker 1: think of anything. What situation do you think that God
• 1:22:58
Speaker 1: can't bring you through? If you look back on your
• 1:23:01
Speaker 1: life and realize that He's brought you through every other
• 1:23:04
Speaker 1: one you've ever been in. Every situation I've ever been in,
• 1:23:09
Speaker 1: God has cleared me through that one. He's done the
• 1:23:12
Speaker 1: same thing for you. Just look back. Name the one
• 1:23:16
Speaker 1: thing that God hasn't brought you through. Name it. If
• 1:23:20
Speaker 1: He ain't bought you through it, He's currently pulling you
• 1:23:22
Speaker 1: through it right now. You know how I know that's
• 1:23:25
Speaker 1: true because you can hear me. God is a very
• 1:23:30
Speaker 1: present help in the time of trouble. The reason I
• 1:23:34
Speaker 1: have relationship with God is so when I get in
• 1:23:37
Speaker 1: moments like these, I don't have to introduce myself to it.
• 1:23:41
Speaker 1: He has heard me before. I have called Him on
• 1:23:44
Speaker 1: a daily basis when it's going good and when it's
• 1:23:47
Speaker 1: going bad. So when it go bad and I show up,
• 1:23:50
Speaker 1: he recognizes me that I am his in his mind.
• 1:23:55
Speaker 1: That's why I can keep my head up. Y'all do
• 1:23:58
Speaker 1: the same. Y'all have great weekend. Those are my clothes,
• 1:24:02
