- 0:01Speaker 1: Shocking the world, and that's the best way I can
- 0:04Speaker 1: describe it. Christen Cinema, who is a Democrat in Arizona,
- 0:09Speaker 1: has just left the Democratic Party as they were celebrating
- 0:12Speaker 1: for barely twenty four hours picking up a fifty one
- 0:15Speaker 1: forty nine majority in the Senate. This will be a
- 0:19Speaker 1: big change that fifty one will go back to fifty
- 0:22Speaker 1: there will be one independent. The questions who is she
- 0:25Speaker 1: going to caucus with and who is she going to
- 0:27Speaker 1: vote for in the majority race. There Cinema saying I'm
- 0:31Speaker 1: leaving the Democratic Party and becoming an independent. Won't be
- 0:34Speaker 1: stuck into one party's demands of following without thinking. Now,
- 0:37Speaker 1: this is obviously breaking news. This is everything that people
- 0:42Speaker 1: are talking about because this would change the Democrats from
- 0:45Speaker 1: the fifty one forty nine majority to now going back
- 0:49Speaker 1: to basically almost a virtual tie. During an interview was
- 0:53Speaker 1: Senn Jake's Tapper release this morning Arizona Center, Christen Cinema
- 0:59Speaker 1: announced she's leaving the Democratic Party and becoming an independent
- 1:02Speaker 1: and by doing so, quote should be able to show
- 1:04Speaker 1: up to work every day as an independent and not
- 1:07Speaker 1: to be stuck into one party's demands following without thinking
- 1:12Speaker 1: I'm going to play this for you. Is it just
- 1:13Speaker 1: happened moments ago on CNN. You're here to make a
- 1:18Speaker 1: significant announcement. I've registered as an Arizona Independent. And I
- 1:22Speaker 1: know some people might be a little bit surprised by this,
- 1:24Speaker 1: but actually I think it makes a lot of sense.
- 1:27Speaker 1: You know, a growing number of Arizona opponents and people
- 1:32Speaker 1: like me just don't feel like we fit neatly into
- 1:35Speaker 1: one party's box or the other, and so, like many
- 1:39Speaker 1: across the state in the nation, I've decided to leave
- 1:43Speaker 1: that partisan process and really just focus on the work
- 1:46Speaker 1: that I think matters to Arizona into our country, which
- 1:49Speaker 1: is solving problems and getting things done. So your voting
- 1:54Speaker 1: record is pretty capital d democratic. I mean, your views
- 1:58Speaker 1: are generally that a moderate centrist Democrat. How does leaving
- 2:03Speaker 1: the party change how you do your job? Well, I
- 2:08Speaker 1: don't think anything will change about how I do my job.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Arizonan sent me to the United States Senate to be
- 2:14Speaker 1: an independent voice for our state, and I'll continue doing that.
- 2:19Speaker 1: What I think is important about this decision and this
- 2:22Speaker 1: move is that I'll be able to show up to
- 2:23Speaker 1: work every day as an independent and not be stuck
- 2:29Speaker 1: into one party's demands of following without thinking. And as
- 2:35Speaker 1: we've seen in recent years, both parties have created this
- 2:39Speaker 1: kind of requirement or a pull towards the edges that
- 2:43Speaker 1: you just unthinkingly support all of one party's viewpoints. It's
- 2:48Speaker 1: made it difficult to find folks who are willing to
- 2:51Speaker 1: work together and solve problems. Now, as you know, Jake,
- 2:54Speaker 1: we've been able to do a lot of bipartisan work
- 2:57Speaker 1: over the last couple of years and incredible be proud
- 3:00Speaker 1: of that. And I think it's important for folks across
- 3:03Speaker 1: my state and frankly across the country to say, yep,
- 3:08Speaker 1: there's someone. There's someone that's kind of like me, doesn't
- 3:11Speaker 1: fit neatly into one box or the other, but is
- 3:13Speaker 1: standing up for their values, for what they believe in,
- 3:16Speaker 1: and is doing it without trying to get one over
- 3:20Speaker 1: on the other party or beat the other guy. So
- 3:23Speaker 1: let's talk about practically what this means. Because you're the
- 3:26Speaker 1: chair of at least two subcommittees, you're a member of
- 3:28Speaker 1: a number of important committees, including Veterans affairs, Does this
- 3:34Speaker 1: mean that you're no longer going to be in those
- 3:37Speaker 1: positions because you're no longer a Democrat and the Democrats
- 3:39Speaker 1: control the Senate. Well, I intend to maintain my position
- 3:43Speaker 1: on my committees and keep doing the work that I've
- 3:46Speaker 1: been doing for Arizona. So I don't think that things
- 3:49Speaker 1: will change in terms of how I operate or the
- 3:51Speaker 1: work that I do in the United States Senate. So Ever,
- 3:55Speaker 1: since Raphael Warnock Senator Warnock was reelected earlier this week,
- 3:59Speaker 1: the balance of power right now is fifty one Democrats
- 4:02Speaker 1: or fifty one votes for the Democratic Party. That includes
- 4:05Speaker 1: two independents, Angus King of Maine and Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
- 4:08Speaker 1: But that's fifty forty nine. What you're doing today doesn't
- 4:12Speaker 1: change that. It's still basically going to be fifty one
- 4:14Speaker 1: forty nine. Well, I know you have to ask that question, Jake, Yeah,
- 4:17Speaker 1: but that's kind of a DC thing to worry about.
- 4:21Speaker 1: What I'm really focused on is just making sure that
- 4:23Speaker 1: I'm doing what I think comports with my values and
- 4:26Speaker 1: the values of Arizonans. So when I come to work
- 4:29Speaker 1: each day, it'll be the same. I'm going to still
- 4:32Speaker 1: come to work and hopefully serve on the same committees
- 4:35Speaker 1: I've been serving on and continue to work well with
- 4:39Speaker 1: my colleagues of both political parties, and I'm not really
- 4:42Speaker 1: spending much time worrying about what the mechanics look like
- 4:45Speaker 1: for Washington, DC. And to be honest, Jake, I don't
- 4:48Speaker 1: think anyone in Arizona is caring about that either. So
- 4:51Speaker 1: I don't think things will change much for me, and
- 4:53Speaker 1: I don't think things will change much for Arizonans. Arizona
- 4:56Speaker 1: senator makes the change days after the Democrats pick up
- 5:00Speaker 1: fifty one majority. Now she was counted in that number
- 5:05Speaker 1: of the fifty one, so that means they dropped out
- 5:07Speaker 1: of fifty forty nine. She is now an independent. During
- 5:11Speaker 1: this interview that was just released, quote, she said, I'll
- 5:13Speaker 1: be able to show up to work every day as
- 5:15Speaker 1: an independent and not be stuck into one party's demands.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Following without thinking, she said she's registered as an Arizona Independent.
- 5:23Speaker 1: And I know some people might be a little bit
- 5:24Speaker 1: surprised by this, but actually I think it makes a
- 5:26Speaker 1: lot of sense. A growing number of Arizonas and people
- 5:30Speaker 1: like me just don't feel like we fit neatly into
- 5:33Speaker 1: one party's box or the other, and so, like many
- 5:36Speaker 1: across the state in the nation, I've decided to leave
- 5:37Speaker 1: the Parson process and really focus on the work that
- 5:41Speaker 1: I think matters to Arizona and to our country, which
- 5:45Speaker 1: is solving problems and getting things done. This is going
- 5:49Speaker 1: to be a huge blow to the Democratic Party. Understand
- 5:53Speaker 1: that first. Okay, this is going to be a massive blow.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Here is the second part of what she had to
- 5:58Speaker 1: say about her leaving the Democratic Party. This is again
- 6:02Speaker 1: worst case scenario news for the Democrats. To take a listen.
- 6:05Speaker 1: It's also an unusual time because the Democrats in Washington
- 6:09Speaker 1: feel really good right now. They actually picked up a
- 6:12Speaker 1: Senate seat and picked up some governor seats. It's the
- 6:16Speaker 1: first time the party that controls the White House actually
- 6:19Speaker 1: gained Senate and governor seats since nineteen thirty four. The
- 6:23Speaker 1: wave that was supposed to come, the red wave, didn't
- 6:26Speaker 1: actually happen. Kevin McCarthy or the Republicans. Maybe Kevin McCarthy
- 6:30Speaker 1: will be the Speaker, but either way, the Republicans will
- 6:32Speaker 1: control the House, but not with the margins they were expecting.
- 6:36Speaker 1: This is going to disappoint a lot of Democrats and
- 6:38Speaker 1: they're also going to feel like they don't understand why
- 6:41Speaker 1: would you do this at a time when the Democratic
- 6:43Speaker 1: Party is having a good week. Well, I think folks
- 6:45Speaker 1: at home in Arizona have known me for a very
- 6:48Speaker 1: long time and they know who I am. I've always
- 6:51Speaker 1: been someone who is focused on getting results, getting things done,
- 6:56Speaker 1: and I've never fit neatly into any party box really tried.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I don't want to, and I think that's reflective of
- 7:04Speaker 1: how most Arizonans live. You know, Arizonans who aren't affiliated
- 7:09Speaker 1: with either party are often the largest group of voters
- 7:12Speaker 1: in Arizona, and even those who are affiliated with parties
- 7:15Speaker 1: often fine that they don't fit one hundred percent into
- 7:18Speaker 1: that box. The reality is is that when we get
- 7:22Speaker 1: up in the morning, we don't really think about partisanship.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Most people don't wake up and think, Okay, well, I've
- 7:28Speaker 1: got to get this Democratic breakfast on the table. I
- 7:30Speaker 1: got to get in my Republican car and go to work.
- 7:32Speaker 1: That's not how real life is. I know it is
- 7:34Speaker 1: in this town, but in the rest of the country,
- 7:37Speaker 1: people are just living their lives and so they're not
- 7:40Speaker 1: thinking about who's winning and who's losing. But that's what
- 7:44Speaker 1: the parties are thinking about, is how do we get
- 7:46Speaker 1: one over on this guy, How do we ensure that
- 7:49Speaker 1: we're punishing them, How do we continue to win. And
- 7:53Speaker 1: what I'm really focused on, I think the proof is
- 7:56Speaker 1: in the pudding of the work I've done in the Senate.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I'm really focused on getting results, like actually solving problems,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and so, you know, removing myself from the partisan structure.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Not only is it true to who I am and
- 8:10Speaker 1: how I operate, I also think it'll provide a place
- 8:15Speaker 1: of belonging for many folks across the state in the
- 8:18Speaker 1: country who also are tired of the partisanship. Well, there's
- 8:22Speaker 1: going to be a lot of noise about this from
- 8:24Speaker 1: the Democrats, from progressives, from the left. You know this
- 8:30Speaker 1: that because of your position working with Senator Joe Mansion
- 8:35Speaker 1: of West Virginia to push back on some of the efforts,
- 8:40Speaker 1: the legislative efforts and change them and moderate them, You've
- 8:43Speaker 1: already been a target of the left and people have
- 8:46Speaker 1: been very critical of you. They're going to call you
- 8:48Speaker 1: every name in the book after this comes out. They're
- 8:49Speaker 1: going to call you a traitor, They're going to call
- 8:51Speaker 1: you an ingrate. What are you going to say, Well,
- 8:54Speaker 1: I think I'll do what I always do with Jake,
- 8:56Speaker 1: which has keep doing the work that I know is
- 8:58Speaker 1: important for my state. You know, I just not worried
- 9:03Speaker 1: about folks who may not like this approach. What I
- 9:07Speaker 1: am worried about is continuing to do what's right for
- 9:10Speaker 1: my state. And there are folks who certainly don't like
- 9:13Speaker 1: my approach. We hear about it a lot, but the
- 9:16Speaker 1: proof is in the pudding. You know, in the last
- 9:18Speaker 1: few years in the Senate, as you and I have
- 9:20Speaker 1: just mentioned, I've been honored to lead historic efforts from
- 9:25Speaker 1: infrastructure to gun violence prevention, to protecting religious liberty and
- 9:31Speaker 1: helping LGBT families feel secure, to the Chips and Science Bill,
- 9:35Speaker 1: to the work we've done on veterans issues. The list
- 9:37Speaker 1: is really long, and so I think that the results
- 9:40Speaker 1: speak for themselves. It's okay if some people aren't comfortable
- 9:44Speaker 1: with that approach. Shocking interview here, the Democrats going to
- 9:49Speaker 1: be furious. As he just mentioned there, I don't think
- 9:52Speaker 1: anything will change about how I do my job. She said.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Also say, now, as you know, Jake, we've been able
- 9:58Speaker 1: to do a lot of bipartisan work over the last
- 10:01Speaker 1: couple of years. I'm not sure that's true, by the way,
- 10:04Speaker 1: but let's just go with it for a second. And
- 10:07Speaker 1: I'm incredibly proud of that I think it's important for
- 10:09Speaker 1: folks across my state, friends across the country say yep,
- 10:12Speaker 1: there's someone that's kind of like me. Doesn't fit neatly
- 10:15Speaker 1: into one box or the other, but it's standing up
- 10:18Speaker 1: for their values. Cinema also say that she intends to
- 10:21Speaker 1: maintain my position on the committees and keep doing the
- 10:24Speaker 1: work that I've been doing for Arizona. So I think
- 10:27Speaker 1: that things will change in terms of how I operate
- 10:30Speaker 1: or work that I do in the United States Senate.
- 10:34Speaker 1: After Tapper, as you heard, they're asked her if her
- 10:38Speaker 1: switch will change the balance of the Senate being fifty
- 10:40Speaker 1: forty nine with the other two independents voting with the Democrat.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Cinema responded, I know you have to ask that question, Jake,
- 10:47Speaker 1: but I think that's kind of a DC thing to
- 10:49Speaker 1: worry about now, it's not really it's control of Congress,
- 10:52Speaker 1: so that's stupid to say that. But whatever what she
- 10:56Speaker 1: will do, we don't know yet. This is a very
- 10:59Speaker 1: interest interesting move. Arizona Governor let Kitty Hobbs now been
- 11:07Speaker 1: outed helped censor social media speech while Secretary of State.
- 11:15Speaker 1: That's right. While serving as Secretary of State. Governor elect
- 11:19Speaker 1: Kitty Hobbs played a role in the censorship of social
- 11:23Speaker 1: media speech, according to documents submitted as part of discovery
- 11:27Speaker 1: in the case Missouri v. Biden. Hobbs office reached out
- 11:31Speaker 1: to the Center for Internet Security CIS, a nonprofit that
- 11:36Speaker 1: acts as a mediator between government and seas and social
- 11:39Speaker 1: media companies, to request a review of Twitter's post claiming
- 11:43Speaker 1: that Arizona's voter registration system was owned and operated by
- 11:48Speaker 1: foreign actors. This is an attempt to further undermine confidence
- 11:53Speaker 1: in the election institutions in Arizona, hobbs office stated at
- 11:57Speaker 1: the time. Within thirty minutes, Twitter told CIS that it
- 12:02Speaker 1: would escalate their issue with the posts. About seven hours later,
- 12:08Speaker 1: Twitter notified CIS that it deleted the offensive offending posts.
- 12:13Speaker 1: The entire exchange took place on January the seventh, last year,
- 12:17Speaker 1: the day after the Capitol riots. Both tweets were removed
- 12:23Speaker 1: from service. Stated Twitter, now we have the breaking news
- 12:28Speaker 1: emails league to reveal that the Arizona Secretary of State,
- 12:31Speaker 1: Kitty Hobbs, was in regular communication with Twitter, telling them
- 12:35Speaker 1: literally who to censor now. She's going to be the governor.
- 12:40Speaker 1: In the months following the exchange, revealed in court filings,
- 12:45Speaker 1: Hobbes focused on publicizing her view of danger that misinformation
- 12:49Speaker 1: and disinformation pose. She even put out tweets like this,
- 12:54Speaker 1: It said, lies, conspiracy theories, and disinformation posed a real
- 12:58Speaker 1: threat to our democracy. She tweeted that last April, until
- 13:02Speaker 1: the legislatures wanted to commit to funding robust public education
- 13:06Speaker 1: efforts around our elections, open and transparent partnerships like this
- 13:10Speaker 1: will continue to be vital. Hobbes also alluded to her
- 13:14Speaker 1: work in eradicating speech deemed misinformation or disinformation while on
- 13:19Speaker 1: the campaign trail last September, saying I fought against misinformation
- 13:23Speaker 1: and even death threats to defend Arizona elections. Hobbs wrote,
- 13:27Speaker 1: always fight the spread of misinformation, never back down from
- 13:31Speaker 1: telling the truth. We can't let the conspiracy theories theorists win,
- 13:35Speaker 1: she went on to say. Now. After the discovery of
- 13:38Speaker 1: Hobbes's intervention in social media speech went viral over the weekend,
- 13:43Speaker 1: Hobb's team engaged with mainstream media outlets account of the controversy.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Ali Bones Hobbes, Assistant Secretary of State and incoming chief
- 13:51Speaker 1: of Staff, shared a statement with various outlets asserting that
- 13:54Speaker 1: it was the Secretary of state's job to not only
- 13:57Speaker 1: inform voters, but to get rid of what they deemed
- 14:01Speaker 1: not to be true. Bones dismissed concerns about the government's
- 14:05Speaker 1: control over online speech, insisting that the CIS arrangement was
- 14:09Speaker 1: the norm, saying, quote, one of the ways we make
- 14:13Speaker 1: sure that voters are informed is by working to counter
- 14:16Speaker 1: disinformation online that can confuse voters. Bones derive the GOP
- 14:21Speaker 1: leaders who called for an investigation into the incoming governor Hobbs,
- 14:25Speaker 1: claiming they were taking the speech monitoring arrangement out of context.
- 14:31Speaker 1: The email exchange is from January of twenty twenty one,
- 14:34Speaker 1: screenshots are not are out there. Not only was it
- 14:38Speaker 1: taken entirely out of contexts they claim it has nothing
- 14:41Speaker 1: to do with this year's midterm elections. Bones said this
- 14:45Speaker 1: yet another example of conspiracy theorists trying to create chaos
- 14:48Speaker 1: and confusion by casting doubt over our election system. It's
- 14:52Speaker 1: unfair to Arizona voters and it's harmful to our democracy.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Bones told Axios that seeking to remove the Verify Belief
- 15:00Speaker 1: false information is not silencing dissent. CIS operates as a
- 15:05Speaker 1: middleman of sorts for government agencies or officials and social
- 15:09Speaker 1: media companies. Its Election Infrastructure Information Sharing Analysts Center, also
- 15:14Speaker 1: known as l I SAC, operates a situation awareness room
- 15:20Speaker 1: to coordinate government and private companies concerning information dissemination and
- 15:25Speaker 1: other election threats in the twenty twenty elections. Cis noted
- 15:30Speaker 1: in the twenty twenty report that it leverage relationships with
- 15:33Speaker 1: elected officials as its past and its past work and
- 15:37Speaker 1: correcting election miss information to create the communications hub. They say,
- 15:42Speaker 1: quote the groundbreaking single point of coordination to federal, state, local,
- 15:46Speaker 1: and private partners allowed all relevant stakeholders to quickly review
- 15:50Speaker 1: incoming information, established ground truths, respond accordingly to the threats.
- 15:56Speaker 1: The SAC served as a central hall for election officials
- 16:01Speaker 1: to report misinformation about the election infrastructure during the twenty
- 16:05Speaker 1: twenty general election. So they're proud of this, saying there's
- 16:07Speaker 1: nothing wrong here, This is totally normal. Really, I want
- 16:11Speaker 1: you to now hear what Senator Johnson was saying. I
- 16:14Speaker 1: was going to play this a moment ago, but I
- 16:16Speaker 1: wanted to tell you about Katie Hobbs and listening to
- 16:18Speaker 1: the questions he was asked by Hannity about these bigger
- 16:22Speaker 1: issues with the Twitter files, the FBI, media and big
- 16:26Speaker 1: tech are they all completed at working together. I would say, yes,
- 16:29Speaker 1: take a listen. Ask you about this issue. How the
- 16:33Speaker 1: FBI on a weekly basis was warning big tech companies.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I know you and Senator Grassley, you're going to have
- 16:39Speaker 1: a lot of FBI whistleblowers coming out and speaking publicly
- 16:42Speaker 1: and getting their testimony. But the FBI meeting weekly with
- 16:46Speaker 1: all these big tech companies warning them of a potential
- 16:50Speaker 1: hack and leak operation. We know that the former head
- 16:54Speaker 1: of site integrity for Twitter, guy by the name of
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yol Roth, that he's testified under oath that in fact,
- 17:00Speaker 1: the FBI specifically mentioned you might get information about Hunter Biden.
- 17:05Speaker 1: But yet we know that the FBI had Hunter Biden's
- 17:08Speaker 1: laptop for eleven months prior to the twenty twenty election.
- 17:11Speaker 1: They knew what was in there, they had plenty of
- 17:13Speaker 1: time to vetted it and find out that it was
- 17:16Speaker 1: in fact his laptop. And then we're finding out why
- 17:19Speaker 1: would the FBI be warning big tech companies not to
- 17:23Speaker 1: report a story that they should have known by that
- 17:26Speaker 1: point was true that that was Hunter's laptop. In other words,
- 17:31Speaker 1: did the FBI put the finger on the scale like
- 17:34Speaker 1: they did in twenty sixteen in order to help a
- 17:36Speaker 1: Democratic presidential candidate. Yes, they did, and they did it
- 17:40Speaker 1: way before October of twenty twenty. I mean, it certainly
- 17:43Speaker 1: starts explaining why we received that unsolicited briefing from the
- 17:46Speaker 1: FBI in August two thousand and six. They knew FBI
- 17:50Speaker 1: knew that Chuck Grass and I were investigating Hunter Biden.
- 17:53Speaker 1: So they're out there talking to Night only us, but
- 17:56Speaker 1: also these social media companies and saying, you know, they're
- 17:59Speaker 1: just might be some hacking going on here of candidates,
- 18:02Speaker 1: family members, and you know who knows they could take
- 18:05Speaker 1: that hack material and turned into disinformation people like on
- 18:08Speaker 1: Hunter Biden. They were already setting the stage because they
- 18:12Speaker 1: knew the Hunter Biden computers out there. They basically threatened
- 18:16Speaker 1: in a veiled attempt, or veiled way, mister mciaac. You know, boy,
- 18:20Speaker 1: people at TAKA don't get in trouble, don't get hurt.
- 18:23Speaker 1: And so they were just laying the groundwork in case
- 18:26Speaker 1: that computer ever surfaced, to sabotage it by by labeling
- 18:31Speaker 1: it misinformation. You know, what was their coordination with the
- 18:33Speaker 1: fifty one intelligence officials that wrote that letter that helped
- 18:37Speaker 1: interfere in our elections? So there's no doubt about that
- 18:40Speaker 1: this corruption was occurring all through twenty twenty. We had
- 18:44Speaker 1: Democrats in Congress also trying to do everything they could
- 18:47Speaker 1: undermine Senator Grassley's and my efforts. So I have no
- 18:51Speaker 1: idea how coordinated, but sure seems pretty coordinated effort by
- 18:54Speaker 1: Democrats in Congress, the FBI, the mainstream media, and the
- 18:58Speaker 1: social media companies. So did they if you use the
- 19:02Speaker 1: words of Elon Musk, he talked about, for example, the
- 19:06Speaker 1: very definition if you're shutting down dissenting voices, it is,
- 19:11Speaker 1: by its very definition, election interference. We know that the
- 19:15Speaker 1: FBI was telling all of these big tech companies warning them, oh,
- 19:20Speaker 1: they might have these hack and league operations. You got
- 19:23Speaker 1: to be on the lookout for it, and in fact,
- 19:26Speaker 1: you don't want to disseminate information that turns out to
- 19:28Speaker 1: be false. Now they had the laptop, did they not
- 19:33Speaker 1: know after eleven months of having a laptop, now they've
- 19:36Speaker 1: had it three years, that in fact that it was
- 19:39Speaker 1: legitimately Hunter Biden's laptop? And shouldn't they have known? And
- 19:42Speaker 1: if they did know, why would they knowingly be lying
- 19:46Speaker 1: to big tech companies about a story like that, Because
- 19:49Speaker 1: they're partisans and they're tipping the scales. And yes, they
- 19:51Speaker 1: interfered in the twenty twenty election to a farger extent
- 19:55Speaker 1: than anything Russia ever could have hoped to accomplish. And
- 19:57Speaker 1: quite honestly, Sean, by giving me that briefing in August
- 20:00Speaker 1: and then leaking it and smearing me in May of
- 20:03Speaker 1: twenty twenty one, we also interfered in the Wisconsin Senate
- 20:06Speaker 1: election as well. So we've got a real problem in
- 20:09Speaker 1: the FBI. But again, the media and big text social
- 20:13Speaker 1: media giants are also complicit and corrupt as well. This
- 20:16Speaker 1: is a much bigger story in just the Twitter files.
- 20:18Speaker 1: By the way, Ron Johnson's right, this is much bigger
- 20:21Speaker 1: than the Twitter files. This was a coordinated effort that
- 20:25Speaker 1: happened on a regular basis all across big tech from
- 20:29Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. That's just the truth. Also, other shocking
- 20:36Speaker 1: news with the Twitter files have been released Part two.
- 20:41Speaker 1: No I and many other conservatives were not paranoid. We
- 20:46Speaker 1: were not diving into conspiracy theories. It was a fact
- 20:51Speaker 1: that we all knew was true. But now we have
- 20:52Speaker 1: the proof. Twitter was shadow banning and silencing conservatives on
- 20:59Speaker 1: a regular daily basis for years. They censored conservatives. They
- 21:05Speaker 1: silenced conservatives. They made it where they couldn't their tweets
- 21:09Speaker 1: wouldn't be seen. A new Twitter file investigation has revealed
- 21:13Speaker 1: that many tools. There were many tools that the company
- 21:17Speaker 1: executives employed to blacklist and shadow banned conservatives. So even
- 21:22Speaker 1: though you had your account, no one was seeing what
- 21:24Speaker 1: you were saying. The thread posted the elon Muss platform
- 21:28Speaker 1: revealed that the internal Twitter name for shadow banning is
- 21:31Speaker 1: visibly filtering quote unquote released by former New York Times
- 21:36Speaker 1: reporter Barry Weiss and yet another lengthy Twitter thread, the
- 21:40Speaker 1: revelation on Thursday show that several mainstream conservative voices, from
- 21:44Speaker 1: Charlie Kirk to Dan Bongino were shadow banned by the
- 21:47Speaker 1: social media company under the rubiks of visibly filtering or VF.
- 21:55Speaker 1: At one point, Twitter even place Stanford professor a Stanford
- 21:59Speaker 1: professor under the label trends blacklist. Why was that Stanford
- 22:06Speaker 1: professor put under trends blacklists? Quote for arguing that coronavirus
- 22:11Speaker 1: lockdowns would harm it children? Per Weiss, this is the
- 22:15Speaker 1: reporter's words. Twitter once had a mission quote to give
- 22:20Speaker 1: everyone the power to create and share ideas and information
- 22:23Speaker 1: instantly without barriers along the way. Barriers, nevertheless, were erected.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Take for example, Stanford's doctor j Bacharia, who argued that
- 22:34Speaker 1: COVID lockdowns would harm children. Twitter secretly placed him on
- 22:39Speaker 1: a trends blacklist, which prevented his tweets from from twining
- 22:44Speaker 1: trending on the platform no matter what. You can also
- 22:48Speaker 1: consider the popular right wing talk show host Dan Bongino,
- 22:51Speaker 1: who at one point was slapped with a search blacklist.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I mean you couldn't find him. Twitter set the account
- 22:59Speaker 1: of concerned activists Charlie Kirk to a setting they had
- 23:03Speaker 1: internally called do not amplify, so that you couldn't make
- 23:07Speaker 1: his points bigger than other people would actually see them.
- 23:11Speaker 1: They had things like trends blacklists, and the list went
- 23:16Speaker 1: on and on. This was shocking. Twitter set the account,
- 23:21Speaker 1: as I said, of conservative activists Charlie Kirk, to do
- 23:23Speaker 1: not amplify, so no matter what he shared, it wouldn't
- 23:27Speaker 1: get big as whist and multiple conservative commentators pointed out.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Twitter routinely denied shadow banning voices, especially based on political
- 23:38Speaker 1: viewpoints or ideology. A shadow banning might not be the
- 23:42Speaker 1: term that Twitter employed, the companies still perform these the
- 23:46Speaker 1: censorship practice under the banner of visibility filtering or VF
- 23:52Speaker 1: in their documents, they had a setting they could go
- 23:55Speaker 1: into their platform, click the VF button, and bam, you
- 23:59Speaker 1: lost your ability to reach society. According to Weiss, multiple
- 24:05Speaker 1: high level sources confirmed that visibility filtering took place. Quote
- 24:11Speaker 1: think about visibility filtering as being away for us to
- 24:14Speaker 1: suppress what people see to different levels. It's a very
- 24:17Speaker 1: powerful tool, That's what one senior employee is quoted as
- 24:20Speaker 1: having told Weiss. We control visibility quite a bit, and
- 24:24Speaker 1: we control the amplification of your content quite a bit,
- 24:28Speaker 1: and normal people do not know how much we do,
- 24:31Speaker 1: said one anonymous engineer, which two other Twitter employees also confirmed.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Very Wise further profiled efforts by Twitter executives to censor
- 24:41Speaker 1: accounts like libs of TikTok, which brightbart News is going
- 24:45Speaker 1: to cover more extensively as the investigation unfolds. Recently, former
- 24:51Speaker 1: Twitter safety executive Joel Roth, who quit after billionaire Elon
- 24:55Speaker 1: Musk acquire The County, defended the platform's decision to censor
- 25:00Speaker 1: Christian satire site The Babylon Be for calling transgendered. HHS
- 25:04Speaker 1: Secretary doctor Rachel Levine, a man. Now, before I get
- 25:09Speaker 1: into anymore the insanity of these people on the left,
- 25:12Speaker 1: I want to tell you real quick about Legacy Precious Metals.
- 25:15Speaker 1: You know what's happening with inflation, you know what's happening

- 25:22Speaker 1: what's been happening with your retirement account. If you are

- 25:56Speaker 1: to take a look at Legacy Precious Medals. Call and
- 26:01Speaker 1: get the free investors guide right now from them one
- 26:04Speaker 1: eight six six seven five one twenty two eighteen. That's
- 26:09Speaker 1: one eight six six seven five one twenty two eighteen,
- 26:15Speaker 1: or online at Legacy PM Investments. It's Legacy PM Investments
- 26:21Speaker 1: dot Com. I want to get something else that we've
- 26:24Speaker 1: been talking about, and that is what's going to happen
- 26:26Speaker 1: in washing In DC with Joe Biden, James Biden, Hunter Biden,
- 26:33Speaker 1: Jim Jordan, and James Coomer both are going to start
- 26:40Speaker 1: major investigations when Republicans take back the House. Part of
- 26:46Speaker 1: their goal is to just do what should have been
- 26:49Speaker 1: done before. They also know that Democrats are not going
- 26:53Speaker 1: to focus on this. They never would and they're gonna
- 26:56Speaker 1: have an uphill battle, but they're not going to back
- 26:59Speaker 1: down from this. I want you to listen to what
- 27:02Speaker 1: they had to say to handity it about how their
- 27:04Speaker 1: dueling investigations are going to work and what their goal
- 27:08Speaker 1: is overall, on how they're going to have success or
- 27:12Speaker 1: even victory if you want to call it that. Take
- 27:14Speaker 1: a listen. Now that we know the FBI had this
- 27:17Speaker 1: laptop for eleven months, there's low hanging fruit crimes, but
- 27:21Speaker 1: that's not the big one. You said when you made
- 27:24Speaker 1: your announcement about your investigation. This is an investigation into
- 27:28Speaker 1: the President of the United States. That laptop implicates Joe Biden.
- 27:34Speaker 1: We have photographs that proved that he was with Hunter
- 27:38Speaker 1: and his foreign business associates. We know that he went
- 27:41Speaker 1: and attended meetings with farign business associates and Hunter. We
- 27:46Speaker 1: know Hunter bitches and moans and groans and complaints. He's
- 27:49Speaker 1: paying Dad or Pops all this money. So the question
- 27:53Speaker 1: here is is this the biggest influence pedaling scandal Congress
- 27:57Speaker 1: is investigating. Absolutely, There's nothing like it in the history
- 28:01Speaker 1: of America. We've never had a family that has influenced
- 28:05Speaker 1: pedal to this degree. And if you look at the
- 28:08Speaker 1: whole purpose of what we're talking about today, it's because
- 28:11Speaker 1: this investigation of the Biden family influence pedaling. The evidence
- 28:15Speaker 1: is based a lot in part with what the documents
- 28:19Speaker 1: are and the data is on the laptop. So, Sean,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I'm breaking on your show tonight based on the internal
- 28:25Speaker 1: documents that Elon Musk released this weekend. The Oversight Committee
- 28:29Speaker 1: will be sending a letter tomorrow morning to the three
- 28:32Speaker 1: Twitter employees Missus, Gaddy, Roth, and Baker that were implicated
- 28:37Speaker 1: in the cover up of the laptop story, three letters
- 28:41Speaker 1: requesting their presence in front of the Oversight Committee in January.
- 28:45Speaker 1: But wasn't the FBI putting pressure on big tech companies? Oh,
- 28:50Speaker 1: you're gonna try glad sir, right, And what we're going
- 28:56Speaker 1: to ask them is who was influencing your decision by
- 29:00Speaker 1: Did you do this unilaterally or did you do this
- 29:03Speaker 1: based on what you were told from the Biden campaign,
- 29:06Speaker 1: from the Democrat National Committee, or even worse, and as
- 29:09Speaker 1: I suspect, from the FBI. This is going to be
- 29:12Speaker 1: an opportunity for the American people to hear directly from
- 29:15Speaker 1: the three Twitter employees implicated in the data release that
- 29:18Speaker 1: Elon Musk just dubbed this weekend. So they're going to
- 29:22Speaker 1: have a few weeks to get their stories start, and
- 29:24Speaker 1: they're going to be able to come under oath in
- 29:26Speaker 1: front of the House Oversight Committee and tell the American
- 29:29Speaker 1: people what really happened and why why were they so
- 29:33Speaker 1: intent on suppressing this story? And Jim Jordan as the
- 29:38Speaker 1: head of Judiciary, your investigation will be working in tandem
- 29:42Speaker 1: with Congressman Comer, because you're looking into whether or not,
- 29:46Speaker 1: based on whistleblower testimony, among other things, whether or not
- 29:49Speaker 1: our FBI has been politicized and our Department of Justice weaponized.
- 29:55Speaker 1: What is your take on the fact that they will
- 29:57Speaker 1: had weekly meetings warning the these big tech companies all
- 30:01Speaker 1: be on the lookout. They're probably going to give you
- 30:04Speaker 1: a hack material. Some of it may be about Hunter Biden.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Were they trying to prevent big tech from letting that
- 30:10Speaker 1: story go out? Why didn't they do anything for the
- 30:13Speaker 1: eleven months that they had the laptop themselves, they could
- 30:16Speaker 1: have been investigating all of this. So, Sean, the answer
- 30:18Speaker 1: to your question who at the FBI was responsible for
- 30:21Speaker 1: suppressing this story and going and briefing these big tech
- 30:24Speaker 1: platforms the answer to Clay's trust and who is that
- 30:26Speaker 1: key person? We know where to start, Timothy T. Bolt.
- 30:29Speaker 1: That's where you start because a whistle blower FBI agent
- 30:32Speaker 1: as a whistle blower went the Senator Grassley and said,
- 30:35Speaker 1: this is the guy who was pushing to suppress the
- 30:37Speaker 1: Hunter Biden's story. His name also came up with a
- 30:40Speaker 1: different whistle blower who came to us. So the place
- 30:42Speaker 1: you started with Timothy T. Bolt to get the answers.
- 30:45Speaker 1: But here's the key fact. The guy that Jim Baker
- 30:48Speaker 1: that mister Coomber just mentioned. That's the key because Jim
- 30:51Speaker 1: Baker was the chief counsel at the FBI back when
- 30:54Speaker 1: they spied on President Trump's campaign and then Jim Baker,
- 30:58Speaker 1: Shazam goes to Twitter and is their general counsel and
- 31:01Speaker 1: is the one who did the email saying, well, it's
- 31:03Speaker 1: reasonable to assume that this is a hacking operation and
- 31:07Speaker 1: therefore we can throttle back the story about the Hunter
- 31:10Speaker 1: Biden laptop. So that's where you start, right Jim Baker
- 31:13Speaker 1: and Timothy T. Bolt, and we have been trying to
- 31:16Speaker 1: get mister t Bolt in for a deposition. We will
- 31:18Speaker 1: make sure that happens in January. Jamie's already working on
- 31:21Speaker 1: mister Baker. That's how you get to the bottom of this,
- 31:24Speaker 1: and the way you stop it is to get the
- 31:26Speaker 1: facts everything out there, like Elon Musk is started, but
- 31:29Speaker 1: we're going to continue. You get the facts out there.
- 31:31Speaker 1: That's the first step into making sure this kind of
- 31:33Speaker 1: Bolognian garbage never happens again. Jim Jordan is Elon Musk
- 31:38Speaker 1: right when he says that when you shut down dissenting voices,
- 31:43Speaker 1: that is by very definition election interference. You agree that
- 31:47Speaker 1: the media was complicent in lying to the American public
- 31:52Speaker 1: and acting as the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party.
- 31:55Speaker 1: And do you believe that the FBI is behind all
- 31:58Speaker 1: that pressure to prevent big Tech from publishing that story
- 32:02Speaker 1: to help Joe Biden get elected. Yeah, it's sure looks
- 32:05Speaker 1: because remember the fifty one former Intel officials send a
- 32:07Speaker 1: letter says this has all the classic gearmarks of a
- 32:09Speaker 1: Russian disinformation operation. The real disinformation operation was the one
- 32:13Speaker 1: the FBI and Big Tech we're running on the American people,
- 32:16Speaker 1: and Jim Baker was at the heart of it. So
- 32:18Speaker 1: let's get him in here to talk to Jamie and
- 32:20Speaker 1: his team, and then we'll get Timothy T. Bolt into
- 32:22Speaker 1: the Judiciary Committee to talk to him and get to
- 32:24Speaker 1: the bottom of it. As I said, so we get
- 32:26Speaker 1: the facts to the American people. Jim Colemo will give
- 32:29Speaker 1: you the last for tonight. Well, remember, Sean, the whole
- 32:32Speaker 1: purpose of this investigation, it's to determine whether or not
- 32:35Speaker 1: this White House has compromised when you look at all
- 32:37Speaker 1: the bad policies coming out of this White House, especially
- 32:40Speaker 1: with respect to things like energy policy, and the fact
- 32:43Speaker 1: that Biden's trying to embrace this GREENU deal. Who wants
- 32:46Speaker 1: the Green U deal more than anyone other than a
- 32:48Speaker 1: few liberals in California China. They want to put us
- 32:51Speaker 1: at a competitive disadvantage. So a lot of the bad
- 32:54Speaker 1: decisions this administration's making, maybe because they're compromised because of
- 32:58Speaker 1: the millions of dollars that they received through influenced peddling
- 33:01Speaker 1: from our adversaries in China, Russia and the Middle East.
- 33:04Speaker 1: That's why we're investigating the Biden family, and that's why
- 33:07Speaker 1: we're gonna kick into high gears, have subpoena power and
- 33:11Speaker 1: the gavel. And you are investigating the President of the
- 33:15Speaker 1: United States for influenced peddalings. That correct, absolutely, that is
- 33:18Speaker 1: the investigation, Yes, sir, influenced peddling. Did you hear that?
- 33:22Speaker 1: Influence pedaling? That is what's being investigated by James Coomer.
- 33:28Speaker 1: These will be two different investigations doing investigations. Are they
- 33:33Speaker 1: important to this country? You better believe it. Now Democrats
- 33:36Speaker 1: are going to have to figure out what they're gonna
- 33:38Speaker 1: do here, and the media is trying to figure it out. Two,
- 33:41Speaker 1: do you want to get rid of Joe Biden? Is
- 33:44Speaker 1: he the useful idiot that's no longer useful? Many Democrats
- 33:48Speaker 1: are afraid because of the mid terms he is going
- 33:50Speaker 1: to run for reelection because everybole to hold the Senate,
- 33:52Speaker 1: especially now by increasing their majority in the Senate, which
- 33:57Speaker 1: is just insane with how bad the economy us. Also,
- 34:01Speaker 1: as I said earlier, think there's no doubt about it.
- 34:03Speaker 1: We have to have a conversation about candidate quality, all right. Lastly,
