- 0:01Speaker 1: Developers. You're not allowed to do anything more. They put
- 0:05Speaker 1: restrictors on the use of a restrictor where you could
- 0:08Speaker 1: take it out, but now they weld it in. And
- 0:10Speaker 1: you take a shower, wash your hands, whatever you do,
- 0:13Speaker 1: including dishwashes when no water comes out, but you wash
- 0:16Speaker 1: your hands. And in my case, I like to take
- 0:18Speaker 1: a nice shower and take care of my beautiful air.
- 0:21Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Good Saturday morning to you.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Ben Ferguson with you, and these are some of the
- 0:28Speaker 4: stories that you may have missed that we talked about
- 0:31Speaker 4: this week on the forty seven Morning Update. First up,
- 0:34Speaker 4: Donald Trump, we're now being told is in direct conversations
- 0:39Speaker 4: with Iran and also talking to militias in Iraq about disarmament. Also,
- 0:45Speaker 4: you may remember the COVID mandate in the military is
- 0:48Speaker 4: no longer a thing. Well now the government official behind
- 0:51Speaker 4: that mandate has been fired. And finally, there is a
- 0:55Speaker 4: constitutional crisis happening in this country as district judges are
- 0:59Speaker 4: doing nationwide injunctions to stop Donald Trump's executive actions. Will
- 1:04Speaker 4: now Senat Republicans are saying uh huh, and they're getting
- 1:08Speaker 4: involved to take away power from some of.
- 1:10Speaker 3: These activist judges.
- 1:11Speaker 4: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 1:16Speaker 4: It's some very important international news the Prime Minister of Israel,
- 1:21Speaker 4: Benjamin Netanya, who met with Donald Trump at the White House.
- 1:24Speaker 4: But one of the biggest things that came out of
- 1:26Speaker 4: the conversation was some breaking news that Donald Trump announced
- 1:30Speaker 4: about having direct talks with a Ran over their nuclear
- 1:34Speaker 4: weapons program. Present saying this at the White House, sitting
- 1:38Speaker 4: next to BB.
- 1:40Speaker 1: We're having direct talks with Art and they've started. It'll
- 1:46Speaker 1: go on Saturday. We have a very big meeting and
- 1:49Speaker 1: we'll see what can happen. And I think everybody agrees
- 1:52Speaker 1: that doing a deal would be preferable to doing the obvious,
- 1:59Speaker 1: and the obvious is not something that I want to
- 2:02Speaker 1: be involved with, or frankly that Israel wants to be
- 2:05Speaker 1: involved with if they can avoid it. So we're going
- 2:07Speaker 1: to see if we can avoid it. But it's getting
- 2:10Speaker 1: to be very dangerous territory and hopefully those talks will
- 2:15Speaker 1: be successful, and I think it would be Intern's best
- 2:18Speaker 1: interests if they are successful. We hope that's going to happen,
- 2:23Speaker 1: and we had just a lot of good talks on
- 2:25Speaker 1: a lot of things.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Now, as President Trump was saying this in the Oval Office,
- 2:29Speaker 4: Reuters came out with an exclusive report saying that Iran
- 2:33Speaker 4: back militias in Iraq are ready to disarm to avert
- 2:37Speaker 4: what they describe as a Trump wrath.
- 2:40Speaker 3: That's right coming out of Baghdad.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Several powerful Iranian back militia groups in Iraq are prepared
- 2:47Speaker 4: to disarm for the first time to avert the threat
- 2:49Speaker 4: of an escalating conflict with the US Trump administration. That
- 2:53Speaker 4: is what ten senior commanders and Iraqi officials said to Reuters.
- 2:59Speaker 3: The move to to fuse.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Tensions follows repeated warnings issued privately by US officials to
- 3:05Speaker 4: the Iraqi government since Trump took power in January. According
- 3:09Speaker 4: to sources who include six local commanders of four major militias,
- 3:15Speaker 4: the officials told Baghdad that unless it acted to disband
- 3:19Speaker 4: the militias operating on its soil, America could target the
- 3:23Speaker 4: groups with air strikes. A senior Muslim politician close to
- 3:27Speaker 4: Iraq's government's alliance also towed Reuters that discussions between the
- 3:32Speaker 4: Prime Minister and several militia leaders were quote very advanced
- 3:37Speaker 4: and the groups were inclined to comply with US calls
- 3:40Speaker 4: for disarmament. The factions are not acting stubbornly or insisting
- 3:45Speaker 4: on continuing in their current form, he said, adding that
- 3:49Speaker 4: the groups were fully aware they could be targeted by
- 3:52Speaker 4: US air strikes. The six militia commanders interviewed in Baghdad
- 3:57Speaker 4: by Reuters at a southern province who requested obviously eminemity
- 4:02Speaker 4: to discuss the sense of situation, are from multiple different groups.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Many of them also it ties to Iran. Trump is
- 4:09Speaker 4: ready to take the war with us to worse levels.
- 4:12Speaker 4: We know that, one of the commanders said, and we
- 4:15Speaker 4: want to avoid such a bad scenario. The most powerful
- 4:18Speaker 4: Sheite militia also saying that it's time for us to
- 4:22Speaker 4: find a way to work together.
- 4:24Speaker 3: You cannot make this up. Why are they doing this now?
- 4:27Speaker 4: Because they've witnessed what the president's doing with other leaders
- 4:30Speaker 4: that he decides to take out isis leaders and the
- 4:33Speaker 4: president making it clear that if you don't get a
- 4:36Speaker 4: deal now, well you're probably going to end up dead.
- 4:40Speaker 4: The commander said, their main ally and patron, Iran's elite
- 4:44Speaker 4: Revolutionary Guards military force, has given them its blessing to
- 4:48Speaker 4: take whatever decisions they deem necessary to avoid being drawn
- 4:53Speaker 4: into a potentially ruinous conflict with the United States and Israel.
- 5:00Speaker 4: The moral of the story is even Iran's military understands
- 5:03Speaker 4: that right now is not a time to mess with
- 5:06Speaker 4: the Trump administration, and this may be exactly why they're
- 5:10Speaker 4: willing to talk directly with the Trump administration to avert
- 5:13Speaker 4: military strikes from a president that says he's not bluffing.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Next story number two.
- 5:19Speaker 4: It will go down in history as one of the
- 5:21Speaker 4: worst moves ever made by any administration, especially when it
- 5:25Speaker 4: came to military readiness. Between twenty twenty one and twenty
- 5:29Speaker 4: twenty three, approximately eight thousand, two hundred plus US military
- 5:36Speaker 4: service members were discharged for refusing to comply with the
- 5:39Speaker 4: Department of Defense's radical COVID nineteen vaccine mandate. This figure
- 5:46Speaker 4: encompasses personnel from all branches of the military well. In
- 5:50Speaker 4: January of twenty twenty five, President Donald Trump signed an
- 5:53Speaker 4: executive order directing the reinstatement of these service members with
- 5:58Speaker 4: full back pay and benefit. As of April of twenty
- 6:02Speaker 4: twenty five, the Army has re enlisted over twenty three
- 6:04Speaker 4: soldiers who were previously discharged for vaccine refusal. Other branches
- 6:09Speaker 4: are actively reaching out to eligible former service members to
- 6:13Speaker 4: facilitate the return to service. Well, we now know who
- 6:16Speaker 4: is behind that decision that clearly discriminated against your right to,
- 6:21Speaker 4: you know, choose what you're going to do with your vaccines.
- 6:26Speaker 4: A senior CIA official was the one who facilitated Biden's
- 6:31Speaker 4: military COVID nineteen vaccine mandate. Terry Adiim, a senior Intelligence
- 6:37Speaker 4: Agency official and former senior Defense official who played a
- 6:42Speaker 4: pivotal role and potentially illegal role in the Biden administration's
- 6:46Speaker 4: military vaccine mandate, has been fired from the agency. That
- 6:51Speaker 4: coming from Breitbart News. Adiam is a former senior Biden
- 6:56Speaker 4: appointee at the Department of Defense who was performed the
- 7:00Speaker 4: duties of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs
- 7:04Speaker 4: and had decamped in December to the CIA as director
- 7:08Speaker 4: of CIA's Center for Global Health Services until about a
- 7:12Speaker 4: week ago. According to sources, her firing was related to
- 7:15Speaker 4: a role enforcing service members to choose between taking a
- 7:19Speaker 4: vaccine that was under emergency use authorization or being kicked out.
- 7:24Speaker 4: According to sources, now on September the fourteenth of twenty
- 7:28Speaker 4: twenty one, that was About a month after the Defense
- 7:31Speaker 4: Secretary of Lloyd Austin ordered the vaccine mandate, at Ourim
- 7:34Speaker 4: issued a memo instructing the DoD healthcare providers to consider
- 7:38Speaker 4: the vaccine available to service members, giving multiple ones, saying
- 7:42Speaker 4: they were interchangeable even though they were not approved by
- 7:45Speaker 4: the FDA. In fact, per her guidance that she wrote,
- 7:48Speaker 4: she said, the two vaccines are interchangeable and DoD healthcare
- 7:52Speaker 4: providers should use doses distributed under the EUA to administer
- 7:57Speaker 4: the vaccination series as if the doses were the listn's vaccine. Translation,
- 8:04Speaker 4: if you don't have the Pfizer vaccine, we got another
- 8:07Speaker 4: one that'll eventually get approved, so just you know, go
- 8:09Speaker 4: with that one now. Our memo was considered legally dubious
- 8:13Speaker 4: even inside the Pentagon.
- 8:15Speaker 3: That was reported also by bright Bart News.
- 8:17Speaker 4: In September of twenty twenty two, a month after Adam
- 8:21Speaker 4: issued her memo, a senior Defense official proposed allowing service
- 8:25Speaker 4: members who did not want to take the EUA vaccine
- 8:29Speaker 4: to wait for the FDA approved vaccine before facing punishment
- 8:34Speaker 4: for being unvaccinated. The Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health, Threadiness,
- 8:39Speaker 4: Policy and Oversight, David Smith proposed in a draft memo
- 8:43Speaker 4: that would replace the Adiram memo, saying quote, if a
- 8:46Speaker 4: service member, after medical consulting declines, the administration of the
- 8:52Speaker 4: EUA manufactured product DoD healthcare providers should engage with their
- 8:57Speaker 4: logistics change is secure and administer the manufactured bio Pfiser
- 9:03Speaker 4: in tech product prior to any punitive action being taken
- 9:07Speaker 4: against a service member. Right, this actually seems to make
- 9:10Speaker 4: some sense. I don't know what this is. I don't
- 9:12Speaker 4: want it my body. I'd rather wait for the Pfizer
- 9:15Speaker 4: biointech one. That's what I want to do. And what
- 9:18Speaker 4: did the military say? Well, no, that is not what
- 9:23Speaker 4: happened at all. Smith's actions memo was addressed to Adaim
- 9:27Speaker 4: with a recommendation for her to sign the draft memo
- 9:30Speaker 4: with a proposed change. According to documents obtained by Breitbart News,
- 9:34Speaker 4: the draft memo had been sent to the military services
- 9:37Speaker 4: for coordination, and a senior Air Force official objected to it,
- 9:42Speaker 4: arguing that adopting the change could open the military up
- 9:45Speaker 4: for more litigation and possibly force it to reverse punishments
- 9:49Speaker 4: already given to those that had not taken the vaccine.
- 9:53Speaker 4: So now you know how little they actually cared in
- 9:56Speaker 4: the Biden administration about those men and women that are
- 9:58Speaker 4: willing to die for this country. And they looked at
- 10:01Speaker 4: them as a headache. And we're willing to give them
- 10:04Speaker 4: a vaccine that actually hadn't been approved yet. And what
- 10:07Speaker 4: do they do to those service members that said they
- 10:09Speaker 4: had real concerns, They said, you're fired.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Well, now at.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Least the woman who wrote that memo has also been fired.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Paying off with what Donald Trump said, I'm going to
- 10:20Speaker 4: get back into office and I'm going to put our
- 10:23Speaker 4: war fighters at the forefront of my advocacy.
- 10:26Speaker 3: And here is story number three.
- 10:28Speaker 4: There is a real constitutional crisis happening in America right now,
- 10:33Speaker 4: nationwide injunctions coming from many different judges purposely to hamstring
- 10:38Speaker 4: President Trump's agenda. Pambonni, the Attorney General of the United States,
- 10:43Speaker 4: saying this about what is happening with these activist judges
- 10:47Speaker 4: and these injunctions.
- 10:48Speaker 5: The president is going to comply with the law. He
- 10:52Speaker 5: was overwhelmingly elected by an overwhelming majority of the United
- 10:56Speaker 5: States citizens to be our commander in chief, and that's
- 11:00Speaker 5: what he's been doing. Shannon. Just since January twentieth, we've
- 11:03Speaker 5: had over one hundred and seventy lawsuits filed against us.
- 11:07Speaker 5: That should be the constitutional crisis right there. Fifty injunctions
- 11:12Speaker 5: they're popping up every single day, trying to control his
- 11:16Speaker 5: executive power, trying to control where he believes our tax
- 11:19Speaker 5: dollars should be allocated. And saying he won by an
- 11:23Speaker 5: overwhelming majority is so important because that's what the American
- 11:26Speaker 5: people want, what President Trump campaigned on, and what he
- 11:30Speaker 5: want on, and he's implementing that agenda at a rapid speed.
- 11:34Speaker 5: None of us can keep up with him every single day,
- 11:37Speaker 5: and so it's just we're going after all of these lawsuits.
- 11:40Speaker 5: We're defending them all. We just got a great win
- 11:42Speaker 5: and will continue to fight.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Will continue to fight.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Well, now there are people in Congress that are standing
- 11:48Speaker 4: with the president over this constitutional crisis. We now know
- 11:53Speaker 4: that Senator Grassley is unveiling a bill to boost Donald
- 11:56Speaker 4: Trump in court and most importantly, emit the powers of
- 12:01Speaker 4: these radical activist judges. Congressional Republicans are now hoping to
- 12:06Speaker 4: turn the tide on the legal setbacks of President Trump's
- 12:09Speaker 4: executive actions with a bill to weaken the federal judiciary.
- 12:13Speaker 4: The Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley introducing a measure
- 12:18Speaker 4: to prohibit district court judges from issuing nationwide injunctions, rulings
- 12:24Speaker 4: he believes are unconstitutional and should apply only to a
- 12:28Speaker 4: lawsuit's individual parties involved, and not an injunction on the
- 12:33Speaker 4: entire country. Grassley said the wave of anti democratic injunctions
- 12:39Speaker 4: against actions taken by the president. Said that these federal
- 12:43Speaker 4: judges had become the favorite tool of those seeking to
- 12:46Speaker 4: obstruct President Trump's agenda. Individual district judges, who don't even
- 12:51Speaker 4: have authority over any of the other ninety two district courts,
- 12:56Speaker 4: are single handedly vetoing policies the American people elected President
- 13:00Speaker 4: Trump to implement. Grassli said in a statement from the
- 13:03Speaker 4: four the Senate. In short, I'm trying to fix a
- 13:07Speaker 4: bipartisan problem that has been plaguing both Democratic and Republican
- 13:12Speaker 4: administrations alike. Senator Cruz also sounding of the alarm at
- 13:16Speaker 4: a Judiciary committee hearing about these activist judges.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Take a listen.
- 13:21Speaker 6: It's long been said that hypocrisy is the tribute that
- 13:24Speaker 6: vice pays to virtue. I have to admit I'm enjoying
- 13:28Speaker 6: listening to my Democrat colleagues suddenly discover the virtues of
- 13:31Speaker 6: the rule of law after four years where they brazenly
- 13:34Speaker 6: supported the most lawless Department of Justice and the most
- 13:37Speaker 6: politically weaponized department of justice our nation has ever seen.
- 13:40Speaker 6: We just heard the Senator from Rhye Island talk about
- 13:42Speaker 6: the imperative of protecting judges, and yet not a single
- 13:46Speaker 6: Democrat senator cared about the violent protesters that showed up
- 13:50Speaker 6: outside Supreme Court justices homes, including I might note female
- 13:54Speaker 6: justices like Justice Amy Cony Barrett, threatening their family. And
- 13:57Speaker 6: Joe Biden's Attorney General didn't do a damning and refuse
- 14:00Speaker 6: to enforce the law to protect those judges. Why because
- 14:04Speaker 6: he agreed with the violent protesters and he wanted to
- 14:07Speaker 6: intimidate and threaten those judges.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Center Cruz is absolutely right.
- 14:10Speaker 4: The left has gone totally rogue, do not care what
- 14:13Speaker 4: the law actually says, and it's now time for the
- 14:16Speaker 4: Republicans in Congress to rein them in.
