- 2:07Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey man oh Man, got a radio show,
- 2:10Speaker 1: got going for you today? I got going for you today.
- 2:15Speaker 1: O kid, You're not because this is coming purely from
- 2:18Speaker 1: self experience, purely, and it just happened to me. It
- 2:23Speaker 1: just happened to me just yesterday. I lived this on yesterday.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You know, I was going through something that I've been
- 2:32Speaker 1: going through for a long long time and just weary
- 2:35Speaker 1: of it all. And I was I've been talking to
- 2:37Speaker 1: God about it, and I mean for years though, for years,
- 2:41Speaker 1: and I've been saying, Okay, enough is enough, you know God,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm really I'm really tired. And so what happened was
- 2:51Speaker 1: I had had to go through some more of it
- 2:53Speaker 1: yesterday again in a situation. But you but you know what,
- 3:01Speaker 1: after it was over, you know, I kind of laid
- 3:04Speaker 1: in it for a little while. You know how you've
- 3:06Speaker 1: been going through something for so long and then even
- 3:09Speaker 1: if it's over, appears to be over, you still kind
- 3:13Speaker 1: of lay in it a little bit, and you know
- 3:14Speaker 1: you have a while. Man, I can't believe I've been
- 3:17Speaker 1: dealing with this this long, even though even though it
- 3:21Speaker 1: was over, this is really good for me. I don't
- 3:24Speaker 1: know how you do it, but this was so good
- 3:26Speaker 1: for you for me. Have you ever counted, Steve Harvey,
- 3:31Speaker 1: how many times you made it? And so that's what
- 3:34Speaker 1: I started doing yesterday, and that's what I did this morning.
- 3:38Speaker 1: When I woke up, I was getting ready, I was
- 3:41Speaker 1: actually taking an inventory account of how many times I
- 3:47Speaker 1: made it. How many times, man, I didn't have a
- 3:51Speaker 1: rent and somehow I came up with it. How many
- 3:54Speaker 1: times I didn't have my house payment and somehow I
- 3:58Speaker 1: came up with it. How many times I was out
- 4:01Speaker 1: of money, did not have enough, didn't didn't see no way,
- 4:04Speaker 1: but somehow I came up with it. How many times
- 4:08Speaker 1: I got sick? Thought? Well, man, this one right here.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm gonna do, but somehow I
- 4:17Speaker 1: got my health back. How many situations I have found
- 4:23Speaker 1: myself in? That was I thought at the time, detrimental
- 4:27Speaker 1: and diabolical and man so sinister at times. Somehow I
- 4:34Speaker 1: made it. I look at all the accidents I've been in,
- 4:39Speaker 1: but he kept me. I made it. I think about
- 4:42Speaker 1: even the simplest times of like stepping off a curve
- 4:45Speaker 1: and almost got hit, but I made it. I was
- 4:48Speaker 1: just tripping the other day. I was. I was thinking
- 4:50Speaker 1: about the times that I've been hit by a car
- 4:53Speaker 1: and it could have been worse, but it wasn't. And
- 4:55Speaker 1: I made it through that too. I was thinking about, Man,
- 4:58Speaker 1: when they count you out, do you know how many
- 5:01Speaker 1: times I've been counted out? He's done. He ain't gonna
- 5:06Speaker 1: be nothing, He ain't nobody. See what I told y'all,
- 5:10Speaker 1: look at over that they counsel this. He offered that
- 5:13Speaker 1: he out of here. He ain't gonna make it. He
- 5:15Speaker 1: didn't got fired. Man, You know how many times I've
- 5:18Speaker 1: been counted out? You know how many times they didn't
- 5:20Speaker 1: wrote me off? How many times have you been written off? Man?
- 5:24Speaker 1: But here you still stand Yo, you've a tripped on it.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Take an inventory, y'all of how many times? Count the
- 5:31Speaker 1: times you've made it? What about the times man, when
- 5:34Speaker 1: nobody was there to encourage you, but you still here
- 5:37Speaker 1: though you've tripped on that. Ain't nobody called you and
- 5:41Speaker 1: told you good day. No nobody called you and told
- 5:43Speaker 1: you recently thank you. No one's called you and told
- 5:46Speaker 1: you how much you meant to them, how much you've
- 5:48Speaker 1: done for them? A man, that you can make it?
- 5:50Speaker 1: Never give up, Keep your head up, man, keep grinding.
- 5:53Speaker 1: But you still here, even when nobody. Have you counted
- 5:56Speaker 1: the times man, that you made it in any way?
- 6:01Speaker 1: You count at the times that you felt like quitting.
- 6:04Speaker 1: How about that one you felt like giving up you
- 6:08Speaker 1: kept going? How about the time this is a good
- 6:11Speaker 1: one right here? How about the times man? When when
- 6:14Speaker 1: when when everybody's standing around saying, ain't no way, ain't
- 6:17Speaker 1: no way, Steve Man, I can't tell how many times
- 6:19Speaker 1: I've heard this ain't no way, And then somehow there
- 6:23Speaker 1: is a way. You know why, because he make a way.
- 6:28Speaker 1: You understand, you know how many? You know how many
- 6:30Speaker 1: times I've heard this one right here? Steve, Listen to me, man,
- 6:34Speaker 1: nobody ever before hasn't done that. You can't do that.
- 6:40Speaker 1: How many times you'd heard? No, you aren't? You know
- 6:43Speaker 1: anybody didn't done that? You can't do that. No one
- 6:47Speaker 1: has ever done that. I made it anyway. You know,
- 6:53Speaker 1: they don't normally or we don't normally allow this, but
- 7:00Speaker 1: in this case for you, we gonna make an exception.
- 7:04Speaker 1: How many times have you heard that, Oh, I think
- 7:07Speaker 1: I'm on to something? How many times have you heard
- 7:11Speaker 1: in your lifetime? We don't normally or they don't normally
- 7:16Speaker 1: allow this, but we gonna make this exception in your case.
- 7:21Speaker 1: How many times you'dn't heard that? Have you ever counted
- 7:27Speaker 1: the times that you made it? You know everybody out
- 7:33Speaker 1: accept me? Oh? How can that be? You know you're
- 7:40Speaker 1: the only one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow, man,
- 7:45Speaker 1: I don't I don't hardly see this too many times.
- 7:48Speaker 1: But do you realize that normally this is what happened
- 7:51Speaker 1: to people. But man, y'all don't know how your name
- 7:54Speaker 1: came up, but here you are. Wow, it never happens
- 7:57Speaker 1: like that. You've accounted those times. I was doing it yesterday,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I was doing it this morning. I was just taking
- 8:04Speaker 1: an inventory of everybody of how many times I've made it.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So what I learned yesterday was when God gets you
- 8:12Speaker 1: through something, when He pulled you out on the other side,
- 8:16Speaker 1: no matter how difficult or how long it took. When
- 8:19Speaker 1: He gets you out on the other side, why don't
- 8:22Speaker 1: you get up, dust yourself off, and start trotting what
- 8:27Speaker 1: you laying there for man, wallowing in it, going over it,
- 8:32Speaker 1: recycling it in your mind. So many people can't move
- 8:35Speaker 1: forward because we keep recycling stuff in our mind when
- 8:42Speaker 1: clearly it's time to move on. It's time to let go.
- 8:49Speaker 1: It's time to go and see what God has for you.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Stop looking at what you lost. What you lost was
- 8:58Speaker 1: probably not yours to have in the first in the
- 9:02Speaker 1: first place. Do you know the things I've lost? I'm
- 9:10Speaker 1: not talking about losing the love one, a mother or father,
- 9:13Speaker 1: nothing like that. I'm talking about innate objects or situation.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Do you know the things I've lost? Man, I look
- 9:20Speaker 1: back on it. I wasn't supposed to have him in
- 9:21Speaker 1: the first place, or they was doing me no good.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I've wasn't mine to lose, but I claimed I lost it.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Come on, man, taking inventory, everybody, Start looking at the
- 9:31Speaker 1: things man, that God has brought you through. Start looking
- 9:34Speaker 1: at how many times He allowed you to make it,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and get glad about waking up in the morning. Man,
- 9:39Speaker 1: get glad about your life. Start feeling something positive about
- 9:42Speaker 1: your situation. You cannot expect God to continue to bless
- 9:47Speaker 1: you if you're not grateful for the things that you have.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Why would God sitting down here looking at you upset, angry,
- 9:59Speaker 1: laying in walla of what you are not grateful for?
- 10:04Speaker 1: You just can't find the see, find no gratitude in
- 10:06Speaker 1: your heart about nothing, but you steady asking God for something.
- 10:09Speaker 1: So now you think God is crazy. You think he
- 10:12Speaker 1: gonna give you some most stuff to not be grateful for.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? Why would he do that. He's
- 10:19Speaker 1: too full of too much mercy to send you through
- 10:21Speaker 1: that Over and over and over. The more I give
- 10:24Speaker 1: my child, the more ungrateful they are, the less gratitude
- 10:28Speaker 1: they show. But I'm gonna keep dumping it on them
- 10:30Speaker 1: so they can keep feeling ungrateful and show leck of gratitude.
- 10:33Speaker 1: God's not gonna do that to you. Come on, man,
- 10:38Speaker 1: have you ever counted how many times you made it?
- 10:44Speaker 1: I can't count how many times God didn't gotten me
- 10:47Speaker 1: through something. But when he gets you through it, we
- 10:49Speaker 1: can't get up and get on about your business. Don't
- 10:51Speaker 1: lay that in it. It's over, it's done, you made it,
- 10:54Speaker 1: you survived it. Let's go, Let's go. You're listening to show.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, man, have your attention please. Uh. It's
- 11:05Speaker 1: Monday morning, it's the beginning of a new week. But
- 11:07Speaker 1: it's the same damn thing up in here. We' fing
- 11:10Speaker 1: to turn up this volume, create this ignance and be

- 11:41Speaker 1: going U we live, and they probably ain't even saying
- 11:47Speaker 1: that no more. They say still saying we live. I'm
- 11:54Speaker 1: scared to use modern day slang. I'm still going. I'm
- 11:57Speaker 1: still doing you know what's happening? Playoff? You know that way?
- 12:01Speaker 1: I know, I know it's out of style, and all
- 12:04Speaker 1: my talk is out of style. We let calla for real,
- 12:10Speaker 1: what's happening? We bought that life? What's going on? Junior?
- 12:15Speaker 1: You got one? I just gonna say, morning on my Tommy,
- 12:21Speaker 1: you got one lit light lit? I'm living my bathtlight man. Yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 1: now dude, this one still work turned up? Yeah, that
- 12:30Speaker 1: was still work. Come on, Steve, what it is? What
- 12:37Speaker 1: it is? Good? Good? Everybody? Cool? Man? My man? Slapping five?
- 12:48Speaker 1: You did that? Did that? You may as well throw
- 12:53Speaker 1: it right on in their stea. I still say right on.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I still say amen. When I talk to my older brother,
- 13:01Speaker 1: it's it's like talking to Marvin Gaby Sally. I'm talking
- 13:07Speaker 1: to them, Hey, what's uping? Bro's with you? Man? It's
- 13:11Speaker 1: something man, give me some of that skin, man, some skin,
- 13:15Speaker 1: don't that's five on the black hand? Keep it like that.
- 13:19Speaker 1: It's all right man, right on. What's been going on
- 13:22Speaker 1: with your playing? You still doing it? Ain't you? You
- 13:25Speaker 1: know people ain't easy, but somebody got to do it.
- 13:27Speaker 1: It might be men. What's up? What's up? Timmy? One
- 13:34Speaker 1: of my little girls, what are the friends of the house?
- 13:37Speaker 1: Said mister Timmy? You lit? I said, baby? I said, baby,
- 13:39Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I don't smoke. We I don't
- 13:41Speaker 1: know what you're talking about? Said what? That couldn't be
- 13:48Speaker 1: a drop either way. I wasn't there. I don't know.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I don't know what lit meant. Yeah, especially in front
- 13:55Speaker 1: of your kids. Know what, you gotta stay fresh and hill, Timmy.
- 13:59Speaker 1: You we got younger kids too, you know. Hey, hey, hey,
- 14:03Speaker 1: let me tell you what I did one day in Atlanta.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I came out my office with my shirt open, and
- 14:08Speaker 1: my kids friends was in the house. When you say, Dad,
- 14:11Speaker 1: your shirt is open, I said, I live here. Tell
- 14:16Speaker 1: all your little flat stomach as from around here. But
- 14:20Speaker 1: it's so funny, Steve. You're right because we're at an
- 14:22Speaker 1: age now where everything we do embarrasses our kids. There's
- 14:26Speaker 1: nothing that we can do that where our kids think
- 14:29Speaker 1: we're cool. Nothing. All right, listen, coming up in thirty two,
- 14:33Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 14:35Speaker 1: Morning Show. We'll do a little weekend review when we
- 14:37Speaker 1: come back. Right after this. Wait, let we let turn up.
- 14:43Speaker 1: You're listening to Steven Show. Happy Monday, everybody, Okay? Uh,
- 14:51Speaker 1: big weekend, Saint Patty's Day weekend. Um didn't know this,
- 14:55Speaker 1: Steve that Saint Patrick's Day is the fourth most popular
- 14:59Speaker 1: drinking holiday, really fourth most popular after New Year's Eve,
- 15:05Speaker 1: Christmas and July fourth Christmas Christmas. Who knew the people
- 15:10Speaker 1: got real drinking old Christmas. Hey, it's number Jesus birthday.
- 15:14Speaker 1: What does y'all do celebrating that? Is So that's terrible,
- 15:22Speaker 1: But that explains mom Christmas moment. What's his name? Junior, Junior,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I just want to say, Man, I guess it is
- 15:34Speaker 1: a lot of drinking old Christmas. Yeah, damn, it was
- 15:42Speaker 1: a lot yesterday show. Appreciate your sock. I ain't no
- 15:48Speaker 1: black people celebrating. Yeah, I ain't know Black celebration mentioned
- 15:52Speaker 1: that to see. You know, it seems every year more
- 15:55Speaker 1: and more black people celebrate Saint Patrick's death because we
- 15:59Speaker 1: ain't got nothing. What do you mean, what do you
- 16:02Speaker 1: mean we have got? Yeah? Although Junior, last month when
- 16:08Speaker 1: you mourn. Yeah, if I see roots one more, damn,
- 16:16Speaker 1: I'm happy to day movie I've ever seen in my life.
- 16:21Speaker 1: But I mean it was good from the perspective of
- 16:23Speaker 1: the storytelling and well how I found out who he was.
- 16:28Speaker 1: That mean, it's cool. Yeah, I did a lot of
- 16:30Speaker 1: all every day on my show. I did a Black
- 16:33Speaker 1: history moment, a big Black history moment. I unfolded some
- 16:37Speaker 1: really cool stuff. Yeah you did. I saw some yors
- 16:39Speaker 1: you didn't. Yeah, Yeah, but you know, that's still it
- 16:43Speaker 1: ain't that ain't a drinking holiday for the whole month.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Nobody gets you drunk for the month ago? Hey, did
- 16:51Speaker 1: you find out what else we can't do? Steve Junior
- 16:55Speaker 1: was not He was not happy with this past. Like
- 16:59Speaker 1: his nobody everybody toasted, you know. Junior was disappointing that
- 17:05Speaker 1: we've had better. That was a man. When I first
- 17:08Speaker 1: moved to Texas years ago, that's when I found out
- 17:11Speaker 1: about June teenth. I never really knew about Junie and
- 17:14Speaker 1: they celebrated big and deal. Still I didn't know it either.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Growing up in Chicago, I didn't know about it. I
- 17:20Speaker 1: was dead said against it. What I found out what
- 17:22Speaker 1: it was fault? Yeah, two years later. Yeah, the slaves
- 17:26Speaker 1: found out that they had been free two years ago.
- 17:28Speaker 1: They saw some black people walking back the out of
- 17:30Speaker 1: the company. What y'all go, Yeah, we got good new
- 17:33Speaker 1: we've been back in a minute. Yeah, no, no, out
- 17:38Speaker 1: of whipped. Everybody came over the information two years later.
- 17:42Speaker 1: There would have been a civil war when y'all pants
- 17:44Speaker 1: back here two years ago, y'all NWD went home. How
- 17:49Speaker 1: the hell it took y'all two years to get over here? So, yeah,
- 17:54Speaker 1: holidays yeah, so Saint Patrick's Day. So I was I
- 18:00Speaker 1: didn't even know it was Saint Patty's Day until I
- 18:03Speaker 1: turn on the fight Earl Spencer against Garcia and the
- 18:10Speaker 1: commentator was the black dude I forgot his name. He
- 18:14Speaker 1: on a green suit, green hat, and he was little.
- 18:21Speaker 1: That's that's the move he tried to make. You know,
- 18:24Speaker 1: what's his name porter? He was okay, he's actually a
- 18:28Speaker 1: good commentator, but his outfit with green, with all the green,
- 18:32Speaker 1: and he was little. Bro. If that's what you was
- 18:39Speaker 1: going for, you did the damn thing. Well, you know, see,
- 18:42Speaker 1: if you don't wear green on Saint Patrick's Day, then
- 18:45Speaker 1: you get pinched. You get pinched. Who started that? I
- 18:49Speaker 1: must have been. I was around a lot of black
- 18:51Speaker 1: people over the weekend, so I had nobody pinched me. Yeah,
- 18:56Speaker 1: I didn't mean. I've never heard of that. Oh yeah, no,
- 18:59Speaker 1: I've never Yeah, yeah, I remember growing up in Chicago.
- 19:03Speaker 1: They return the Chicago River green. Yeah they still do that, shell.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I don't know if they did at this time of crazy,
- 19:10Speaker 1: but they did it while I was up there turning green. No, no,
- 19:13Speaker 1: I'm not a Saint Patty's Day guy. Yeah. Now, now,
- 19:16Speaker 1: Colin Farrell the actor. He was on I saw him
- 19:19Speaker 1: on something on the Gram. He was on Ellen or something.
- 19:22Speaker 1: He was saying, they don't do any of that in
- 19:25Speaker 1: Irelandland then they don't do a drink. But yeah, they
- 19:28Speaker 1: don't drink green beer, drink green milkshakes, turn the river green.
- 19:32Speaker 1: They don't do any of that, and they just they drink.
- 19:35Speaker 1: But that's about it. Yeah, we do that over here. Yeah,
- 19:39Speaker 1: my last in America. Oh yeah, Colin Farrell, Carla Farrell. Okay,
- 19:44Speaker 1: well are you That's what I'm saying? She said that
- 19:52Speaker 1: is true as Farrell as I not that blacksh don't
- 20:00Speaker 1: you tell them about your name? Yeah, don't tell stopped
- 20:04Speaker 1: saying that. I looked it up. I said, hey, did
- 20:08Speaker 1: you know Farrell was Irish? He rolled his asset. Yeah,
- 20:12Speaker 1: and I mentioned the actor Colin Farrell, yeah yeah, and
- 20:15Speaker 1: Will Farrell yeah yes. All right, Well you gotta take
- 20:19Speaker 1: a trip to Ireland then, Carlin. We're trying to get
- 20:22Speaker 1: right now. And Beyonce went. They said they loved it,
- 20:28Speaker 1: it was beautiful. Yeah. While if I go, I gotta
- 20:31Speaker 1: have a money. Okay, yeah, you will know it. Yes,
- 20:44Speaker 1: So the drink biggest drinking holidays again New Year's Eve,
- 20:48Speaker 1: that's the first. Christmas is number two. Yeah, July fourth
- 20:54Speaker 1: is number three. I didn't know that. I didn't know
- 20:57Speaker 1: that either. Yeah. And then Saint Patrick's Day is number four. Yeah,
- 21:01Speaker 1: so drink up, yeah right, drink my uncle, Uncle Junior,
- 21:09Speaker 1: Uncle Julie. He was drunk yesterday, said yesterday he already knew.
- 21:15Speaker 1: He already knew, Junior, he already knew. All right, guys,

- 22:52Speaker 1: where they design to close again. It's been too much
- 22:55Speaker 1: and no word. The Louivi time ministry keeps floating it
- 22:58Speaker 1: in their face and they they tired of it. Path
- 23:02Speaker 1: the Gucci ministry is tied. We I don't understand that
- 23:08Speaker 1: I put on a pair of Gucci velvets or this moaning,
- 23:15Speaker 1: and as I was coming out the door, I forgot
- 23:19Speaker 1: the dawn was a boy caught, yes, for three months, right,
- 23:23Speaker 1: but my feet had already swollen. So I came on
- 23:29Speaker 1: end with them on. I can't take these off. But
- 23:32Speaker 1: one understand because once I take these off, can't none
- 23:35Speaker 1: of my other shoe fit. The Gucci loafers, with that,
- 23:39Speaker 1: with with with that, with that stair up on it. Yeah,
- 23:44Speaker 1: what do you want? I don't know what you're gonna tell.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't owned boycott either. I don't
- 23:49Speaker 1: know what is boycotting four? It was three it was
- 23:51Speaker 1: for three months long pass and then remember the sweater
- 23:54Speaker 1: with the black face. I didn't see that as black faces.
- 23:58Speaker 1: When you put black on you for you can pull
- 24:00Speaker 1: it up around your mouth, that ain't really you just
- 24:03Speaker 1: want to wear your goots. Well I don't have that squatter.
- 24:06Speaker 1: What the hell I'm wearing your boy cot to sweater?
- 24:10Speaker 1: What we're born cotton the whole company for no born
- 24:15Speaker 1: cot to squatter? Ain't I ain't seen the squatter rap
- 24:20Speaker 1: is the leader where there was a little time ministry?
- 24:22Speaker 1: Is really they get flaunting any Floyd Maywell I saw
- 24:29Speaker 1: him the child ship. Don't nobody tell him and said,
- 24:39Speaker 1: a man with your gut you from here? He was
- 24:44Speaker 1: shut the store down. Well, remind me of our sermon today. Well,
- 24:52Speaker 1: I'm glad it ain't all right. After moving forward, one
- 24:58Speaker 1: of our members, who's any like the celebrity sister Gail King,
- 25:03Speaker 1: is asking that he can take a negro break. He staid,
- 25:06Speaker 1: see his tired of going back and forth with the people. Uh,
- 25:11Speaker 1: she's asking for a negro break. Past it, that's what
- 25:13Speaker 1: he's asked. I want to say, Oh, come in, sister
- 25:17Speaker 1: Gail for her wonderful display of journalistic interviewership. That girl
- 25:29Speaker 1: interviewed or Kelly didn't you. Yes, one of my favorite
- 25:34Speaker 1: lines in the whole interview Robert Robert, which in plain
- 25:41Speaker 1: black tournament, sit your ass down, don't start none, won't
- 25:48Speaker 1: be No, that's right, fast, go ahead, I passed. As
- 25:52Speaker 1: you know, most of our kids come here to church
- 25:54Speaker 1: out the school. After school program is doing bear well,
- 25:57Speaker 1: and our graduation rate is ninety five percent. Listen, young
- 26:02Speaker 1: Jacobe Miller is asking can we get him in the
- 26:06Speaker 1: USC without him having to take the sat He knows
- 26:11Speaker 1: some white people that can pour the strands or about
- 26:15Speaker 1: fifty thou Well, well, now we are here at today's sir,
- 26:24Speaker 1: look at that. Well glad it ain't us. We've been
- 26:31Speaker 1: dominating the news, or we've been all over Jesse smullet
- 26:40Speaker 1: a Kennedy, that's right. Michael Jackson huh no, none of
- 26:46Speaker 1: the top, at least two of them, right. Ain't nothing
- 26:52Speaker 1: you can say about Michael Michael gone, that's right. But
- 26:55Speaker 1: we nothing you can say about Jesse compared to this here. Oh,
- 27:00Speaker 1: Jesse did give to African twenty five hundred, but the
- 27:07Speaker 1: white folks twenty five million dollars. Ain't you glad? This
- 27:15Speaker 1: ain't us? Jesse got sixteen counts. Ain't all of them.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Some form of disorderly conduct. That's what you're gonna call
- 27:26Speaker 1: what do your white folks didn't done robbing and stilling
- 27:30Speaker 1: in the name trying to get these stupid ass kids
- 27:34Speaker 1: educated whatever. You get their dumb ass down there in
- 27:37Speaker 1: the school ain't smart enough to stay. Your little girl
- 27:41Speaker 1: proved it when she came over and said she ain't
- 27:43Speaker 1: here for no education. She's trying to polish games, and
- 27:47Speaker 1: it's just for games and party. You spend all that money,
- 27:50Speaker 1: got this health of down at this school trying to
- 27:54Speaker 1: learn nothing? Well, ain't you glad? It ain't us I
- 27:59Speaker 1: told you is coming today. I ain't psychic, I ain't
- 28:04Speaker 1: I ain't that lady of Cleo. Yeah, miss Cleo, I
- 28:11Speaker 1: ain't uh an astrology man. But I know this was
- 28:15Speaker 1: gonna come up. My sermon. I wrote it with anticipation
- 28:19Speaker 1: that you were gonna bring up these stealing ass folks.
- 28:22Speaker 1: All of them celebrities got money coming out there crocketay behind.
- 28:27Speaker 1: They sit up here and try to get the little
- 28:29Speaker 1: dumb ass kids in college. If your baby too stupid, depressed,
- 28:32Speaker 1: the A S A T hell, they're gonna stay in
- 28:36Speaker 1: c O L L E G E somebody's to me
- 28:41Speaker 1: because it's in college, that is in the SAT. You
- 28:46Speaker 1: can't pass the SAT. You ought to go somewhere. Set
- 28:50Speaker 1: your ass down, because that's all the SAT mean. Do
- 28:53Speaker 1: you set your ass down because you ain't small enough
- 28:57Speaker 1: to you you ain't smart enough to get into college.
- 28:59Speaker 1: I believe school sitting it being getting your kids these
- 29:02Speaker 1: soccer scholarship. They punk ass. Can't kick a ball in
- 29:06Speaker 1: the damn side of a house. You're sitting up in here,
- 29:09Speaker 1: got your baby with a lacross contract, Nordy getting there
- 29:12Speaker 1: wearing the boy then threw a stick in the bass.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Come on back, set me on the line. All your kids,
- 29:18Speaker 1: I'm all the rich had kids and whoop they ain't
- 29:21Speaker 1: whoop they asking what their parents ain't I ain't never
- 29:24Speaker 1: liked the boy from where far? No, damn where. I
- 29:27Speaker 1: don't even know what. Your wife was in full house.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Now she's gonna be in a full sound jail after this,
- 29:37Speaker 1: the church said, man from full house to the big hog,
- 29:46Speaker 1: whyn't you glad it ain't on? It ain't ain't it
- 29:51Speaker 1: ain't up? Black? Yeah, all right, coming up at the
- 30:03Speaker 1: top of the hour entertainment news right after this, you're
- 30:06Speaker 1: listening and entertainment news. Our girl Whoopie Goldberg is back,
- 30:17Speaker 1: well sort of, sort of, sort of, not one hundred percent.
- 30:20Speaker 1: She's been out for over a month. She's been suffering
- 30:22Speaker 1: from double pneumonia and sepsis, some kind of bacteria she had.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Yeah on Friday, Yeah, right on Friday, she said she
- 30:31Speaker 1: finally felt good enough to stop by the View and
- 30:34Speaker 1: surprise the ladies, and boy were they surprised. Whoopy said
- 30:38Speaker 1: that she plans to slowly ease back into her hosting
- 30:41Speaker 1: duties over the next week and a half. She dropped
- 30:44Speaker 1: by because she missed everyone, she really did, and she
- 30:47Speaker 1: want you know how people say she just wanted to
- 30:49Speaker 1: put their eyes on her. You know, she just wanted
- 30:52Speaker 1: to put their eyes, her eyes on them. She says.
- 30:54Speaker 1: This is my first four ray out. She explained that
- 30:57Speaker 1: I'm not there yet, but the only way it's going
- 30:59Speaker 1: to get her as if I begin. So this is
- 31:02Speaker 1: my beginning. Ye yeah, very happy that she was back. Yeah.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, really is er Yeah, she really is? Yep, yeah, yep.
- 31:17Speaker 1: All right. Another entertainment news, Steve Jesse Smallett strolled into
- 31:21Speaker 1: the Cook County, Illinois court room to enter a not
- 31:24Speaker 1: guilty plea, well, several I should say, at least to
- 31:27Speaker 1: sixteen felony counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly filing a
- 31:31Speaker 1: false police report. The judge told Jesse that he could
- 31:35Speaker 1: travel to New York and Los Angeles to meet with
- 31:38Speaker 1: his legal teams, as long as he notifies the court
- 31:41Speaker 1: forty eight hours in advance. Now, if Jesse is yeah,
- 31:45Speaker 1: if Jussie is convicted of all sixteen counts, he could
- 31:49Speaker 1: face up to forty eight years in sis. I don't think.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I don't think what he did deserves that. I think, yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 1: here's what I think. Just bub that she get at best,
- 32:02Speaker 1: if if at best, for probation, community service, right, and
- 32:08Speaker 1: a fine at best. He didn't hurt anybody. He didn't.
- 32:13Speaker 1: He didn't hit nobody. He didn't. He hurt himself. He
- 32:17Speaker 1: heard his career. Now, he had the police department doing
- 32:21Speaker 1: a lot of unnecessarily unnecessary work, seemingly so I'm look,
- 32:25Speaker 1: I don't know if he's guilty. Answer, he's plead innocent.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Maybe the kid got some information we don't know. And
- 32:30Speaker 1: I hope I hope that's true. A fact, I really
- 32:34Speaker 1: really hope that's true, man, because I like the kid,
- 32:37Speaker 1: I really really do. But if it looked like it's
- 32:40Speaker 1: gonna go sideways for your homie Jess, uncle Steve talking,
- 32:45Speaker 1: it's called a plea bark. Yeah, sometimes you got to
- 32:49Speaker 1: give him something, man, because if if they can get
- 32:51Speaker 1: you on anything, they will, and it's gonna take your
- 32:54Speaker 1: community service, get on probation at best. That's what should have.
- 32:58Speaker 1: He shouldn't do no time for this, Hope they don't
- 33:00Speaker 1: try to make example out of him and everything. Do
- 33:03Speaker 1: you know what the president is doing? Hell yeah, yeah,
- 33:06Speaker 1: well man, get out of here. Yeah. So again, if
- 33:08Speaker 1: Jesse is convicted of all sixteen counts, he could face
- 33:11Speaker 1: up to forty eight years in prison. Each count carries
- 33:14Speaker 1: a potential sentence of one to three years. And he's
- 33:18Speaker 1: he's due back in court on eight for seventeen and
- 33:21Speaker 1: it's it's I don't think it's worth that. No, that's
- 33:25Speaker 1: a lot. I don't see him. I don't see jail
- 33:27Speaker 1: time for this now. I did have us going for
- 33:30Speaker 1: a while though. Yeah. But if he's innocent, if he
- 33:35Speaker 1: can have the proof, like right now, it don't look good. No,
- 33:38Speaker 1: it doesn't. Just public opinion is wow, come on, bro,
- 33:43Speaker 1: But even that, even let's say public opinion is correct.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Let's just assume for a minute it don't deserve jail time. Yeah,
- 33:52Speaker 1: I don't because he lied. What he did was lie
- 33:55Speaker 1: lie if he did that, yeah, everybody, but every prone
- 34:00Speaker 1: there so five thousand, way more than that. Yeah, it
- 34:06Speaker 1: was almost ten thousand or over that now ye lie
- 34:09Speaker 1: yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah. Tende public yeah yeah,
- 34:13Speaker 1: teba and double down double That's why I can't go
- 34:16Speaker 1: in front of Mana for nobody, all right, can't. He
- 34:20Speaker 1: got live beauties, that's what he got, right, Steve. Let's
- 34:24Speaker 1: get to the news, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne trip,
- 34:28Speaker 1: thanks Steve, Live beauties. Okay, that's a new one on me.
- 34:31Speaker 1: This is a troop with the news. Everybody. Law enforced
- 34:33Speaker 1: officials in New Zealand say that they're attempting to bring
- 34:36Speaker 1: the situation in that city of christ Church back to
- 34:39Speaker 1: normal in the wake of Muslim worshippers and two mosques
- 34:42Speaker 1: are being mowed down before now. Police Commissioner Mike Bush
- 34:44Speaker 1: tells Residence that the word is vigilance. You will see
- 34:48Speaker 1: a highly visible police presence on the streets, around your businesses,
- 34:54Speaker 1: around your schools, and even in the air. Right across
- 34:57Speaker 1: the country, so you will feel syfe. The death toll
- 35:01Speaker 1: now stands at fifty, where there were still some twenty
- 35:04Speaker 1: people being treated for injuries in hospitals. Officials say that
- 35:07Speaker 1: the fiftieth deceased person's body was discovered during a search
- 35:10Speaker 1: through the rubble. Meanwhile, a long racist and anti immigrant
- 35:14Speaker 1: manifesto email to the Prime Minister of New Zealand and
- 35:17Speaker 1: others just minutes before the massacre. The alleged gunman uses
- 35:20Speaker 1: fond words to describe President Trump, praising Trump as a
- 35:24Speaker 1: symbol of quote renewed wide identity and common purpose unquote. However,
- 35:28Speaker 1: Acting White House Chief of Staff Nick wilvaniansists on Fox
- 35:31Speaker 1: News Sunday that his boss is not that kind of man.
- 35:34Speaker 1: The President is not a white supremacist. I'm not sure
- 35:37Speaker 1: how many times we have to say that, And to
- 35:40Speaker 1: simply ask the question every time something like this happens
- 35:43Speaker 1: overseas or even domestically, to say, oh, my goodness, it
- 35:46Speaker 1: must somehow be the president's fault speaks to a politicization
- 35:49Speaker 1: of everything that I think is undermining sort of the
- 35:51Speaker 1: institutions that we have in the country today. Trump has
- 35:54Speaker 1: frequently been criticized for remarks and behavior considered anti Muslim
- 35:58Speaker 1: or racist, especially after the Knots and white supremacist rally
- 36:01Speaker 1: in Charlesville, Virginia, where an anti racist demonstrated was run
- 36:05Speaker 1: over and killed, and they were white men marching around
- 36:07Speaker 1: with tiki torches, chanting the Jews, the Jews, the Jews
- 36:11Speaker 1: will not replace us. President Trump said that there were
- 36:14Speaker 1: good people on both sides of that right. Rescue efforts
- 36:17Speaker 1: are underway in southern Africa after devastating cycle left more
- 36:20Speaker 1: than one hundred people dead, sixty five Insimbabwe alone. Bridges
- 36:24Speaker 1: have been swept down, roads impassable. Listen to this. Six
- 36:27Speaker 1: young black men found dead in various rays in Ferguson, Missouri,
- 36:31Speaker 1: all prominently involved in protests over the police killing of
- 36:33Speaker 1: eighteen year old Michael Brown. Folks in the activist community
- 36:36Speaker 1: saying this is all too much of a coincidence, especially
- 36:39Speaker 1: since protest leaders in Ferguson continue receiving death threats. Four
- 36:43Speaker 1: and a half years after the college Brown Michael Brown
- 36:45Speaker 1: was shot dead and dead by a white now ex
- 36:48Speaker 1: police officer from Ferguson who got off No reign the
- 36:52Speaker 1: forecast for the Midwest. The Midwest rather this week with
- 36:55Speaker 1: a lot of flooding, and she did it again. That's
- 36:57Speaker 1: why Captain Mardele tops at the box office this weekend,
- 36:59Speaker 1: bringing in another sixty nine million dollars. And uh they
- 37:03Speaker 1: got actually, she made what two hundred and sixty six
- 37:05Speaker 1: million so far locally seven hundred and sixty worldwide. Now
- 37:08Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 37:13Speaker 1: show actress Rosario Dawson and Democratic presidential candidate Corey Booker.
- 37:20Speaker 1: M Uh, they seem to be an item, that's right. Uh, yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 1: they say they're they're they're dating. Rosario Dawson confirmed it actually,
- 37:29Speaker 1: and she used the L word l o v E.
- 37:33Speaker 1: You know, take a listen. I am just grateful to
- 37:39Speaker 1: be with someone that I respect and love and admire
- 37:41Speaker 1: so much. She is so brilliant and kind and caring
- 37:45Speaker 1: and loving. Cor book room, Yeah, Li's big book. Yes,
- 37:51Speaker 1: they're dating or they're a couple. Yeah. A lot of
- 37:55Speaker 1: people have been asking whether or not, you know, because
- 37:58Speaker 1: he's not married, was he dating anyone? What's going on
- 38:01Speaker 1: with him? So now she's confirmed that they are, uh,
- 38:04Speaker 1: in a loving relationship. She said it. He comes right
- 38:07Speaker 1: out and get girl. He come right out and get her. Well,
- 38:10Speaker 1: he's running for president. You get her? Well, yeah, that's
- 38:14Speaker 1: what's president platform, Junior. I don't care. I'm running. I
- 38:23Speaker 1: could do better than the one we got. Yeah. Yeah,
- 38:27Speaker 1: what he's gonna have to do now, they're gonna have
- 38:30Speaker 1: to be seen surface pictures of you gotta because people
- 38:34Speaker 1: just this is a different world we're in now. I'm sorry, man,
- 38:38Speaker 1: I'm not casting any doubt or anything. I believe it,
- 38:43Speaker 1: you know, but I do. But we got to Harry
- 38:45Speaker 1: help get some dinner pictures out. Some man's a hotel,
- 38:50Speaker 1: a great looking couple. Yeah, hotels. You gotta be somewhere.
- 38:57Speaker 1: You ain't in love with nobody. You ain't no way
- 38:59Speaker 1: in a bikini on a beach, and we gotta get
- 39:02Speaker 1: something dog all right listen. And other political news, Beto
- 39:08Speaker 1: O'Rourke finally has made it official. He is running for
- 39:12Speaker 1: president people, and he may pick a female for his VP.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I like that. I like that, Yeah, I do fairly
- 39:20Speaker 1: what that is brewing almost Also, Senator Elizabeth Warren is
- 39:31Speaker 1: hosting a CNN town hall meeting in Jackson, Mississippi, on
- 39:35Speaker 1: the campus of HBCU Jackson State University, two nights to night.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Yes and Jackson Jackson, Mississippi. Yeah, Jackson State. Yeah, yeah, really,
- 39:50Speaker 1: I ain't gonna come me. Congratulations to Jackson State. I
- 39:53Speaker 1: see y'all. Yeah, y'all better go down represive. Next to
- 39:59Speaker 1: thirty four. After the how the New Zealand, Oh this
- 40:01Speaker 1: was so sad the New Zealand mosque shootings, President Trump
- 40:05Speaker 1: downplays a white nationalist threats we'll get into it right
- 40:08Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right, So Steve,
- 40:14Speaker 1: what's going on in the world? I mean, really, there
- 40:16Speaker 1: is so much hate and violence going on. There are
- 40:20Speaker 1: now at least fifty people dead and many seriously injured
- 40:25Speaker 1: after the shooting massacre at two Moss in Christchurch, New Zealand.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Murder charges have already been filed against a twenty eight
- 40:33Speaker 1: year old Australian white nationalist. His name is Brenton Turrant.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Turrant said he considered President Trump a symbol of renewed
- 40:41Speaker 1: white identity and common purpose. Experts are concerned about the
- 40:45Speaker 1: growing threat of white supremacist groups in the US and
- 40:49Speaker 1: around the grobe the globe. The President, however, does not
- 40:52Speaker 1: seem to share those concerns. He was asked about the
- 40:55Speaker 1: growing threat of white nationalism over the weekend. Take a listen.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I don't really. I think it's a small group of
- 41:02Speaker 1: people that have very very serious problems. I guess if
- 41:05Speaker 1: you look at what happened in New Zealand, per half
- 41:07Speaker 1: sents a case, I don't know enough about it yet.
- 41:11Speaker 1: And yeah, look, there's nothing to know. You know what
- 41:17Speaker 1: white nationalist is, you know what it means. It's real simple,
- 41:22Speaker 1: you know. Look, Obama was never accused as being a
- 41:26Speaker 1: symbol of white nationalist pride or any other thing that
- 41:30Speaker 1: the shooter said. So look, man, it's it's real obvious,
- 41:35Speaker 1: whether you realize it or not. And I don't I
- 41:38Speaker 1: don't think that he doesn't really he doesn't care because
- 41:41Speaker 1: as long as you say his name in a positive way,
- 41:45Speaker 1: or you mentioned his name in a like he's my hero,
- 41:48Speaker 1: or he matters to me, that's all that counts with him.
- 41:52Speaker 1: He doesn't matter who the praise is coming from. He
- 41:55Speaker 1: just wants to praise. That's why he will not come
- 41:59Speaker 1: out against anybody who appears to be a fan of
- 42:03Speaker 1: his and come out against it. He's not gonna do it.
- 42:06Speaker 1: He's I don't know what the word is. A narcissist.
- 42:10Speaker 1: What is this person who man at any cost as
- 42:15Speaker 1: long as you like me or praise me, I'm just
- 42:20Speaker 1: gonna go ahead and just keep my mouth shut because
- 42:23Speaker 1: he needs every vote he can to get back in.
- 42:26Speaker 1: And I'm telling you, man, we've got to do something.
- 42:29Speaker 1: We've got to be careful, y'all. And the Democrats are
- 42:32Speaker 1: scaring me right now because we're doing the exact same
- 42:35Speaker 1: things that the Republicans did to Obama. They spent eight
- 42:39Speaker 1: years hating Obama and they ended up with no candidate.
- 42:42Speaker 1: We are spending all this time hating Trump and we're
- 42:45Speaker 1: not developing. We need somebody to be the front runner. Now.
- 42:52Speaker 1: We don't need to look at sixteen damn people, we don't.
- 42:55Speaker 1: It ain't sixteen interest and ask people that could It
- 42:58Speaker 1: ain't sixteen people that could be president. So far as
- 43:02Speaker 1: like twelve that didn't say they was running into it. Well, yeah,
- 43:05Speaker 1: it's more than that now because Beto o'rouric is in. Okay,
- 43:08Speaker 1: it's twil just half of them. Who do you think
- 43:11Speaker 1: has a chance? Just give me six names? Uh, Kamala?
- 43:14Speaker 1: Who else? Beto for sure? Bet h yeah, Bernie, Oh yeah, Bernie.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Bernie's front runner right now. But if Joe Biden jumps
- 43:25Speaker 1: in and it's out. Let's just go with the once
- 43:29Speaker 1: we've got we got three, Yeah, I need three more. Well,
- 43:33Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren is running. Uh, Kristen Gillibrand, ok, Jilibrand is running.
- 43:39Speaker 1: That's not what I asked you should I asked you
- 43:42Speaker 1: who do you think could be president? Of six? I
- 43:46Speaker 1: just need six out of the twelve. Okay, Mike could
- 43:49Speaker 1: beat Trump. That could beat him. Uh, Bernie might have
- 43:53Speaker 1: a chance. Bernie and Kamala, Kamala and Beto Beto and Bernie.
- 43:59Speaker 1: You know, yeah, but he's sang Biden hasn't. Yeah. So
- 44:05Speaker 1: between those three Bernie, Kamala, Beto, Y and Corey Booker
- 44:10Speaker 1: is in there. Took Booker. Yeah, yeah, I mean it. Yeah, yeah,
- 44:18Speaker 1: I mean those are the three that I think that
- 44:20Speaker 1: have a chance against the current president. Yes, Steve, Okay,
- 44:26Speaker 1: so we don't need other name. That's what I'm saying.
- 44:30Speaker 1: You did say. That's all I want us to do.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Let's be honest. We get to the convention for we
- 44:38Speaker 1: start all this hatred because we split it up too much.
- 44:41Speaker 1: We're gonna do what we did to Bernie, said Bernie
- 44:44Speaker 1: Sanderus had a real idea about winning when Hilary Roun
- 44:49Speaker 1: Henry It disenfranchised a lot of Bernie supporters. Yeah, all right,
- 44:53Speaker 1: we're gonna do the same thing again. And this dude
- 44:55Speaker 1: gonna get to me the toll boats and in the
- 44:57Speaker 1: States and we're back in business. All right, we gotta
- 44:59Speaker 1: move on. Steve up next, it is a nephew with
- 45:01Speaker 1: the prank phone call for today's coming up right after this.

- 45:59Speaker 1: Church with you, okay, yeah, so yeah, so everything everything's fine. Up,
- 46:05Speaker 1: I got a little issue and I'm trying to get
- 46:07Speaker 1: to the bottom of it. Now, you work in the
- 46:10Speaker 1: full service start. You work in the parking lot on yeah, yeah,
- 46:17Speaker 1: and you tell people where the parking stuff right right right?
- 46:20Speaker 1: What are you looking for some employment? You want to
- 46:22Speaker 1: you want to join us? Nah? Nah? Nah? To see

- 47:00Speaker 1: back of the parking lot and then but you know
- 47:02Speaker 1: I noticed now na bro no on the rear so
- 47:06Speaker 1: you're sending me to the back, and I'm noticing when
- 47:08Speaker 1: I see cars as like two thousand and ten, two
- 47:10Speaker 1: thousand and fifteen, Carroll, We'll listen. We don't have new

- 47:35Speaker 1: from me? I just I didn't seen you man or
- 47:38Speaker 1: send people to the front to park. I haven't seen
- 47:40Speaker 1: you do n No. I just I just put you know,

- 50:11Speaker 1: What you thought. Okay, that's what it is. No, it's

- 54:50Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter, all right. Subject never trust your man's
- 54:54Speaker 1: female friends. Here Stephen Shirley. I'm a twenty seven year
- 54:58Speaker 1: old woman and I've had a few relationship issues because
- 55:01Speaker 1: I just can't seem to pick the right man. Maybe
- 55:04Speaker 1: it's because I am in love with my male best friend.
- 55:09Speaker 1: He is perfect for me, and I've known it since
- 55:12Speaker 1: we met six years ago. But there's one problem. He's
- 55:15Speaker 1: had a girlfriend for the last three years. His girlfriend
- 55:19Speaker 1: has no idea that she is in my way, and
- 55:22Speaker 1: she has tolerated our friendship to an extent. Sometimes she
- 55:26Speaker 1: will say little things to me to make him pull
- 55:29Speaker 1: away from me, but that does not last long. She
- 55:32Speaker 1: has every reason to fear me because I want more
- 55:35Speaker 1: than a friendship with her. Man. This man treats me
- 55:39Speaker 1: with a lot of respect, and we talk about any
- 55:41Speaker 1: and everything. We enjoy the same type of music, food,
- 55:45Speaker 1: and movies, and we are perfect dance partners. I've tried
- 55:49Speaker 1: to create doubt in his girlfriend's mind by calling and
- 55:53Speaker 1: texting him really late at night or early in the morning,
- 55:57Speaker 1: just to talk. I know it bothers her because she
- 56:01Speaker 1: has jokingly told me to call and text him at
- 56:04Speaker 1: a more decent hour. Yeah whatever, girl by And yes,
- 56:09Speaker 1: we had sex one time when we first met, but
- 56:13Speaker 1: he blames it on alcohol, and he promised me that
- 56:16Speaker 1: he would never violate our friendship in that way. Again.
- 56:20Speaker 1: I didn't feel violated at all, and I started falling
- 56:23Speaker 1: in love with him after that. I need him to
- 56:26Speaker 1: see that I'm better for him than his girlfriend is
- 56:29Speaker 1: before it's too late. I'm scared that if I wait
- 56:31Speaker 1: any longer, he might end up marrying the wrong woman.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Please hollow. Yeah. Yeah, First of all, I cannot understand
- 56:42Speaker 1: why his girlfriend of three years puts up with you,
- 56:45Speaker 1: and you need to stop. I mean, you really really
- 56:48Speaker 1: need to stop. Can you be any more disrespectful? I mean,
- 56:52Speaker 1: is there anything else you can do? To be any
- 56:55Speaker 1: more disrespectful. This man, your best friend, is in a relationship,
- 56:59Speaker 1: and I don't care. I mean, so what if you
- 57:02Speaker 1: guys have been friends for six years? That gives you
- 57:05Speaker 1: no right to completely completely disregard his girlfriend's feelings. I mean,
- 57:10Speaker 1: that's just wrong. There you are lurking in the background
- 57:14Speaker 1: like some sort of crazy stalker, saying she has every
- 57:17Speaker 1: reason to fear you. She's done nothing to you, and
- 57:21Speaker 1: probably that is the problem because she hasn't checked you.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I mean, they've been together for three years. That means
- 57:27Speaker 1: you've been waiting on him for that long. You've been
- 57:29Speaker 1: waiting on this man for three years. How much longer
- 57:32Speaker 1: are you gonna waste your life waiting on him to
- 57:35Speaker 1: leave her for you? He hasn't done it yet. Come on,
- 57:38Speaker 1: I mean, don't you know that what's for you is
- 57:40Speaker 1: for you? You don't have to try and take someone
- 57:43Speaker 1: else's man. You're better than that. Or don't you know
- 57:47Speaker 1: that about yourself yet? And you just wait till his
- 57:50Speaker 1: woman gets good and good and done with you. Steve
- 57:55Speaker 1: boy boy, boy, boy boy, These are the types of
- 58:01Speaker 1: letters that I wakes up for in the morning. Never
- 58:08Speaker 1: trust your man's female friends. How many times have I
- 58:13Speaker 1: said on this show, how many times have I told
- 58:21Speaker 1: y'all these friends y'all keep having in y'all, in these
- 58:25Speaker 1: committed relationships, they gone back far. Here we go straight
- 58:33Speaker 1: from the horse's mouth. Twenty seven year old woman handsome
- 58:40Speaker 1: relationships because she can't pick the right man. Why can't
- 58:45Speaker 1: she pick the right man? Because she in love with
- 58:50Speaker 1: her male best friends. Yes, she didn't went so far
- 58:54Speaker 1: to say he perfect for me. She didn't stop down.
- 59:00Speaker 1: She told her why I met him six years ago.
- 59:05Speaker 1: But he had had a girlfriend, Philip, his girlfriend ain't
- 59:08Speaker 1: got no idea. She in my way exactly. She didn't
- 59:13Speaker 1: tolerated our friendship. And sometimes she is say things that
- 59:16Speaker 1: make him put away from me, but that don't last long.
- 59:19Speaker 1: It's because he keeps sliding back over there, harm fit
- 59:24Speaker 1: to tell you what's really going on. She got every
- 59:26Speaker 1: reason to feel me because I want more than a
- 59:29Speaker 1: friendship with her. Man that Shirley is focused on the
- 59:32Speaker 1: fact that she could potentially be a stalker. We all
- 59:37Speaker 1: see clearly in this letter that this half for crazy. Yeah,
- 59:41Speaker 1: she got Glenn close wrote all over her. Yeah, this
- 59:50Speaker 1: a blonde haired white lady that's probably black. She didn't
- 59:57Speaker 1: put a rabbit in a part. You can believe that
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: all the fact she have bailed, rapping in the pot,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: pulled acid on the car. Oh, that's why she can't
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: stay in no relationship. Then she said, here's why she
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: can't leave this man alone. He treats me with a
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: lot of respect. We talk about everything. We enjoy the
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: same type of music. We enjoy the same type of food,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: We like to move it, the same damn movies. We
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: even perfect dance partners. Now, if that ain't a reason
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: to love somebody, you tell me who the hell can
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: you eat with, go to movies with, cry with? Then
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: go out there and can steal dance? Yes, yes, yes,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: I've tried to create doubt in his girlfriend's mine by
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: calling and texting him really late at night or early
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: in the morning, just to talk. I know it bothered hell, yeah,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: because it would bother you, She's jokingly told me. Called
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: at a decent hour. Yeah whatever, girl, by Helper. Here's
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: the problem in the whole letter that we're gonna deal

- 1:09:40Speaker 1: year old woman wrote in uh. She's had a few
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: relationship issues in her time because she can't seem to
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: pick the right man. But now she thinks she has
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: the right man. He is her best friend of six
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: stay six one time, and the things he did to
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: her why he was ump started in the bedroom, had
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: up against the wall. She had her legs raped rounding.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: He walked over to the bed and did a backflip
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: and was still on her. I don't see how that's
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I know you can't because he was drunk. He don't
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: know that circumstyle. Then picked her up, took her right
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: over to the chest of drawer, opened up the dresser drawer,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: just set her booty in the drawer, took cut in
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: the bathroom, got a hot foster and the cold foster
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: sat on top of the saint cut the hot fos
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: on one half of her butt and the cold face
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: on the other half. Her book. She don't know what
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: the hell would come on forking it though. Then laid
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: her on the steps, head first on her back, and
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: they slid down thirty one steps. He stayed connected the
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: entire time. She got her bott step. He took her
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: in the kitchen at the foot of doom steps put
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: her on the breakfast table. Okay, open the drawer, got
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: a spoon out, and I ain't got to tell you
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: no more. Then yes, got up from the table. She
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: didn't know it was no more. She thought they were
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: walking outside to get fresh out. Ye. Put her in
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: the car, okay, and what happened? Pulled off both hands
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: on the stairs wheel. He just shifting gears. She never
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: seen nothing like it, and we never heard anything like that.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: He never took his hands off the wheel, was just
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: shifting the they rolled around the block. She can't believe it.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: She kept saying, oh Lord. Then came home later on
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: the hot hoo to that car. Come on on the
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: hot hoo to that car. Hoo hot hood went to
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: work again because she was cold from the trip round
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: the block. Man, I can see all this. Man, I'm
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: trying to track. I was called he was drunk. He
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: was drunk, and he promised not to disrespect their friendship
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: after that. Well, did he remember any of the stuff
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: when he became so up? It don't matter if he did.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: She did, that's why. But he was shamed though, That's
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: why he said, I'll never violate our friendship like that again.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I didn't mean to show you all the stuff I know.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: But for three years all she'd been saying is but
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: he was drunk. What happened when he ain't drunk though,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: And that's why she fell in love? Yeah, and that's

- 1:20:58Speaker 1: heard the racial slurs. Had to beat him, of course.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: A statement from the school district said that she has
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: resigned from her position. That was good, Yeah, she was
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: still district. She has resigned from her position. According to
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: the district's website, she was a clerk, not a teacher.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: She was a clerk in the central office. Um. She
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: yells uh the in word three times. She spits at
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: the people. It's a black man and a black woman.

- 1:21:27Speaker 1: no one knows how it's got started, you know, Yeah,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: no one knows. Always see is this woman going just

- 1:21:40Speaker 1: over social media. So, uh, this is crazy. I mean,

- 1:21:47Speaker 1: so many of these incidents keep happening, you know, Yeah,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: we're here. Yeah. Yeah, the tirade was caught on video

- 1:23:50Speaker 1: have to pick it boycott you. We don't. We don't.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: We don't need a videotape to see if the grand
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: jury will find you guilty. You've did it. Yourself. Thank
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: you so much. Please, well the rest of you, please
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: step forward so we can identify you too and save
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: us to pack, because this is all we've been saying.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Karin touring from the school district
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: of New Haven, Hampton Public School, Hampden Public Schools. It's
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: out of East Haven, Connecticut. Thank you so much. Thank you.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: All right, look, we gotta go. We'll have more of
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: You're listening to all right, guys, you've been chomping up
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: the bed. You want to talk some sports on what's
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: going on? It's a lot going on. Well, Steve ask
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: you guys a question off the air, true, what's going on? Well,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: you know, if Steve asked us if we if we
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: could have anybody's game, it's in the NBA. Who's will Well,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: you know who would you want to be? You know,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: I'm I'm headed toward light Ski and I'm Curry. You know,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: you head toward light You here, you there, you are.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: If I if I could ball man like right now,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: if I had a game, I think that's who I
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: am when I'm playing anyway, Dwayne Waite. Really, I've always
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: liked his game. His game is nice man Russell Westbrook,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: he lightening speed, Oklahoma dog triple double. He involved in
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: the game. He's scoring, assisting, and he getting double rebounds,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: forty of him in a season. He balling, He balling
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: in their aspect of the game. He trying to help
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: his team. I love and his motor man. Good lord,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: how the boy's motor man? It's non stop forty eight minutes.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: No one said Lebron. Oh, I mean, come on, great,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: this basketball him the planet game. Okay, that's too obvious.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Just yeah, I mean he's too tall for me, that right.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Dare you say that? You got that right? I mean, yeah,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: this sucks up by as knee one time you couldn't
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: got him being got him down time. They ain't pull
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: my size down the ladder. So okay, So who's going
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: to the playoffs? That's what we do? No, we like
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: I think we and uh, I hate to say I
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: told you so, but I said at the beginning before
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Lebron ever went to LA I said, the worst place
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: he could possibly go is Los Angeles. Well Magic didn't
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: think so, our friend and family member Magic Johnson. But
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: it's not the best fault. I didn't. I didn't like
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: the move for Lebron in terms of his basketball legacy
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: because I didn't think he could finish it off the
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: right way. This guy has been in is it six
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: or eight of the last finals? Seven of the last
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: finals between six and he's been in the finals every year.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: I knew he wasn't gonna get into the playoffs with
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: Los Angeles just what I thought now. I didn't know
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: he was gonna get hurt, and lord, I didn't wish
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: that on it, but I just didn't see it anyway
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: with the team. And I just think for business, probably
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: the great move, but for basketball, I just didn't like
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: it for him. Man, I would have loved to have
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: seen him go to Philly, and I think in Philly
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: mad and boys would be building something special. I just
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: did not see. Now. I knew he wasn't gonna go
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: to Milwaukee because I don't know if they got the
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: money up there, but that boy the freak. But right
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: after that, I said he should go to Houston. Well, Steve,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: did you think the Lakers wouldn't make it to the
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: playoffs either? I thought the Actually I wasn't really seeing
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: that much. I never really if Lebron had a stayed
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: healthy probably so, probably so seventeen games without but then
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: they lost the rhythm they had built and they couldn't.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: They never got it back. Good luck Lego fans, good luck,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: good luck. Wow. All right, we'll be back with more
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: listening show and entertainment news. Our girl will Be Goldberg
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: is back, well sort of, sort of, sort of, not
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: one hundred percent. She's been out for over a month.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: She's been suffering from double pneumonia and sepsis, some kind
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: of bacteria she had. Yeah, yeah, on Friday, Yeah, right
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: on Friday, she said she finally felt good enough to
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: stop by the View and surprise the ladies, and boy
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: were they surprised. Will Be said that she plans to
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: slowly ease back into her hosting duties over the next
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: week and a half. She dropped by because she missed everyone,
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: She really did, and she want you know how people
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: say she just wanted to put their eyes on her.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: You know, she just wanted to put their eyes, her
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: eyes on them. She says, this is my first four
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: ray out. She explained that I'm not there yet, but
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: the only way it's going to get better is if
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: I begin So this is my beginning. Yeah, very happy
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: that she was back. Yeah, oh yeah, it really is. Yeah,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: she really is. Yep, yep, all right. In other entertainment news,
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: Steve Jesse Smallette strolled into the Cook County, Illinois court
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: room to enter a not guilty plea well several, I
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: should say, at least to sixteen felony counts of disorderly
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: conduct for allegedly filing a false police report. The judge
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: told Jesse that he could travel to New York and
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: Los Angeles to meet with his legal teams, as long
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: as he notifies the court forty eight hours in advance. Now,
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: if Jesse is yeah, if Jussie is convicted of all
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: sixteen counts, he could face up to forty eight years
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: in I don't think. I don't think what he did
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: deserves that. I don't think that. I really don't. Ye,
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: Here's what I think this brother should get at best,
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: if if at best, probation, community service, right and a fine.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: At best. He didn't hurt anybody. He didn't, he didn't
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: hit nobody, didn't he hurt himself. He heard his career.
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: Now he had the police department doing a lot of
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: unnecessarily unnecessary work, seemingly. So I'm look, I don't know
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: if he's guilty of answer, he's plead innocent. Maybe the
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: kid got some information we don't know, And I hope,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: I hope that's true a lot of friends. I really
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: really hope that's true, man, because I like the kid,
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: I really really do. But if it looked like it's
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: gonna go sideway for your homie Jess uncle Steve talking,
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: it's called a plea barker. Yeah. Sometimes you got to
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: give him something, man, because if if they can get
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: you on anything, they will it's it's gonna take your
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: community service, get on probation at best. That's what should have.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: He shouldn't do no time for this. Yeah, I hope
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: they don't try to make example out of him and everything.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: Do you know what the president is doing? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: oh man, get out of here. Yeah. So again, if
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: Jesse is convicted of all sixteen counts, he could face
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: up to forty eight years in prison. Each count carries
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: a potential sentence of one to three years. And he's
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: he's due back in court on April seventeenth, and it's
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: it's I don't think it's worth that. No, that's a lot.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: I don't see him. I don't see jail time for
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: this now. I did have us going for a while though.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: Well yeah, but if he's innocent, if he can have
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: the proof, like right now, it don't look good. No,
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: it doesn't. Just public opinion is wow. Come on, bro,
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: But even that, even let's say public opinion is correct,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: let's just assume for a minute, it don't deserve jail. Yeah,
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: I don't because he lied. What he did was lie, lie,
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: if he did that. All right, we'll be back with
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: our last break of the day and Steve's closing remarks
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve. Here we
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: are our last break of the day on this Monday.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: We need you like never before. Please send this home. Hey,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: you know what I want to do. Yes, I shared
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: this with you all. No, what I want to do
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: is I kind of shared this with you all, but
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: I think I should really share it with everybody. I
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: was reading something today. You know, I try to every day.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: I don't make it every day, but I try to
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: have a morning meditation. I try to do morning meditation.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: I really try to just become a better person, you know. Oh,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: and it's in doing so, you know, you got to
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: really start really checking yourself and trying to find the
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: things that can move you into a better place. Tommy
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: sent me something on the phone after I share with
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: him what I'm about to share with you all, and
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: it's a plaque that says, I'm slowly becoming the person
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: that I should have been a long time ago. And
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: that's that's really what this is about. And I want
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: to talk to you about that, that I'm slowly becoming
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: the person that I should have been a long time ago.
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: The part of that statement, though, is for me to
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: be who I am now, I had to and we
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: all had to go through what we went through to
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: be who we are today. But man, don't you oftentimes
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: wish you had gotten it right sooner? I know you're
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: not supposed to live your life with regrets, man, But
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: as we all start becoming the person that you should
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: have been a long time ago, I'm gonna give you
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: some information that's gonna help you because it helped me.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: During my morning meditation, I was reading something and I'm
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: not gonna read it to you exactly the way it
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: read to me, but I'm gonna share it with you.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna put it in my own words to
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: help you understand something. I was reading something about how
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: God feels about us when we are desire and seek
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: out things more than we do him. They call those
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: things idols. I guess you know you hear old people say,
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: you know, worship idols and stuff. It's not just talking
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: about a gold statue or something like that. It's talking
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: about anything that you place of more significance than your creator,
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: anything that you're after you seek and you put more
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: value on than your relationship with your career. That's just
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: an idol, whether it's money or whatever it is. You know,
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: it could be an another thing. But here's what really
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: messes up a lot of blessings. Man. And this was
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: so happening to me, and I read this this morning
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: and it sort of it just jacked me up all day,
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: but in a good way. And I'm gonna share with you.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna just paraphrase it. And it was telling me
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: that when you are so determined to get your own weight,
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: and you all have been that, when you just want
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: your own way, you end up blocking God out of
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: your consciousness because See, when you seek your own way,
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: your own understanding, your own goals, your own mind set,
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: you're taking God out of the equation. So what he
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: wants us to do instead of going about your purpose
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: pursuing some single minded goal that you might have, he
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: really would refer, he really would prefer that you talk
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: to him about it. So before you go out set
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: full scale on these goals, dreams, aspirations that you might have,
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: he really wants you to talk to him about it.
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: Because what he wants you to do when you talk
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: to him is to allow his presence to shine in
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: your pursuit of it. But now here's the cold part
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: in allowing you. When you talk to him about it
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: and tell him what your goals and everything it is,
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: and you allow him to put his presence to shine
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: his light on your pursuit, He's shining the light on
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: it so you can see it from his perspective. See,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: God wants you to see what his plan is because
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: if the goal that you're going for, if it fits
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: into God's plans for you, then God will help you
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: get there. But if it's not in God's plan for you,
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: if you're doing something that ain't in his will, for you.
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: This is the hard part if it's contrary to his
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: will for you. Do you know what he does? This
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: is how good God is man? Do you know that
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: he don't punish you for that? He don't get mad
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: at you about it. You know what I read? It
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: says that he gradually will change the desire of your heart.
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: Did you hear me? He don't get mad at you
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: when you decide to go your way in and pursue
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: his dream. What he does is he just gradually changes
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: your heart so you can see it his way, so
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: you can get the way he trying to get you too,
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: because his playing way better than the one you got.
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: But if you don't ever come to that understanding, man,
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: if you fight that like I've done so many times,
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: if you go against his will, you're fighting against the grain. Man.
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: Wouldn't it be so much slicker if you took all
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: your dreams and aspirations and goals to your creator totally
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: about it, and then listen to him and let him
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: help you in your pursuit of it. Because in your
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: pursuit of whatever it is you want, he'll put a
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: light on it, He'll put some grace on it. And
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: what that will do is it'll help you in your
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: pursuit of it. And if it's not the will that
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: he wanted you to be on in the first place,
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: he'll just gradually change your heart till you see it
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: his way. Man. Now that ain't some grace and some
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: mercy right there. I don't know what it is. Man.
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: I hope y'all understood what I just tried to say
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: to y'all. Really do get to him first and foremost,
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: talk to him about it before you strike out. Then
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: the rest of your life will fall into place, piece
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: by piece. And that's what's starting to happen to me.
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: Took me too long to get here. I'm slowly becoming
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: the person I should have been a long term ago.
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: For all Steve Arvey contests, no purchase neces sary void
