- 0:01Hey guys, it's Dina from Mentor 365 Services Incorporated, continuation from yesterday, Chapter 9.
- 0:09The title is The Courage to Begin Again, Embracing New Seasons.
- 0:13So welcome back to The Healing Mind.
- 0:18You have walked through awareness, renewal, forgiveness, and peace.
- 0:23You have rebuilt your sense of identity, learned to set boundaries,
- 0:28and rediscover your strength.
- 0:30And now it's time to begin again. This chapter is about the courage to start over,
- 0:36because every healing journey eventually brings you here to a new season that
- 0:41asks you to trust, release, and step forward in faith once more.
- 0:46So the fear of beginning again, right?
- 0:50So starting over can feel terrifying because whether it's after a loss,
- 0:58a heartbreak, a career change, or a personal reset.
- 1:01The idea of beginning again often feels like a failure.
- 1:06So, but here's the truth.
- 1:08Beginning again is not starting from zero. It's starting from wisdom.
- 1:13You are not who you were before. You're stronger, more self-aware,
- 1:18and more connected to your purpose.
- 1:19So many of us stay stuck because we confuse comfort with safety.
- 1:26We cling to the familiar, even when it no longer brings peace because at least it's predictable.
- 1:33But healing often requires us
- 1:35to leave the familiar behind and step into what's unknown but necessary.
- 1:42So faith begins where certainty ends.
- 1:47So Isaiah 43, 19 says, Behold, I am doing a new thing.
- 1:53Now it springs forth. Do you not perceive it?
- 1:57So God specialized in new beginnings. He doesn't just repair what's broken. He renews it.
- 2:04So when life feels uncertain, remember guys, the same God who gave you strength
- 2:09to survive will give you grace to begin again. You don't need to see the whole
- 2:14path. You just take the first step.
- 2:17Starting over doesn't mean you failed. It means you have healed enough to try again.
- 2:23So in mental health, new beginnings often involve cognitive reconstructing,
- 2:30the practice of replacing fear-based thinking with hope-based perspective.
- 2:36Your brain naturally resists change because it craves familiarity.
- 2:42But every time you take a small intentional step forward, you are rewiring your brain for courage.
- 2:49Here's something I often remind my clients or patients.
- 2:53Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's the decision to move while afraid.
- 2:59So healing means walking forward even when your knees still shaking a little, right?
- 3:07So I'm going to tell you a story. The seed and the soil. So.
- 3:13A farmer once planted a seed in the same soil, right, that had seen many storms.
- 3:21The ground was cracked, uneven, and dry.
- 3:24And yet when the rain came, that seed pushed through the dirt,
- 3:29not because it wasn't afraid of darkness, but because it knew it wasn't meant to stay buried forever.
- 3:36So that's you. You're not buried. You're planted.
- 3:40This season of starting again isn't your ending. It's your emergence.
- 3:45So here's some coaching tools to encourage you and renewal.
- 3:52Some practical tools you can help yourself to embrace the new chapter in your
- 3:56life. One is the small step strategy.
- 4:00So each morning, choose one small step toward your next season.
- 4:06Send the email right idea take the walk make the call courage grows through
- 4:13repetition to rewrite exercise write this synthesis and completed.
- 4:23If I believe God was truly with me, I would blank.
- 4:27Then go do that thing, even in a small way, right?
- 4:33Three, faith-focused journal. Each week, record three errors where you saw growth,
- 4:39peace, or answer prayer, even in small details.
- 4:43This practice strengthened gratitude, faith-based optimism, right?
- 4:48So let's take a slow breath and ask yourself, what season am I being called into right now?
- 4:56What am I afraid to release? What is one act of courage I can take this week
- 5:02to honor my new beginning?
- 5:04So say this affirmation softly to yourself. I am not starting over. I am starting stronger.
- 5:11So here are some affirmation for the new season. Every ending opens the door to a new beginning.
- 5:17I have the courage to step into what's next I am not who I used to be And that's
- 5:23my strength God is doing a new thing in me I welcome it So in closing guys New
- 5:30beginnings require faith Not perfection You don't need all the answers Just a willing to heart,
- 5:37Like willing to do it You don't need to have it all figured out Just enough
- 5:43courage to begin again So take that step, send that message,
- 5:49start that chapter because your healing isn't meant to end here. It's meant to expand.
- 5:55So this is your new season.
- 5:58Step into it with courage, grace, and peace. Okay.
- 6:01So this is chapter nine, courage to begin again, embracing a new season.
- 6:07So in our final chapter i'm excited we will explore living whole the journey
- 6:12beyond healing so because healing doesn't stop at recovery it evolves into purpose
- 6:18joy and service so peace out take care bye.
