- 1:47Speaker 3: water the money cap look.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 7: Come on you think, uh huh, I sure will come
- 2:03Speaker 7: on it. Everybody you are listening to the voice, come
- 2:06Speaker 7: on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:09Speaker 7: a radio show, Man, one more time, Steve Harvey got
- 2:13Speaker 7: a radio show.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I do, man, I thank God for it every day.
- 2:18Speaker 6: You know.
- 2:20Speaker 7: My message this morning, man is real clear. It's something
- 2:23Speaker 7: that's been on me to share, and it's it's amazing.
- 2:29Speaker 7: You know, God can do some amazing things for you.
- 2:37Speaker 7: But what happens along the way is and I don't
- 2:41Speaker 7: know that I mean to say, but but the fact
- 2:45Speaker 7: that God can do some amazing things for you, that
- 2:48Speaker 7: comes adversity along with it. Every single time, it just
- 2:57Speaker 7: goes without saying. And I uh, I was having a
- 3:02Speaker 7: a faily, I mean well not faily, but a hugely
- 3:06Speaker 7: successful week. I had never seen this type of hatred
- 3:12Speaker 7: before I hadn't seen it. And it's it's a great
- 3:17Speaker 7: trick that the devil does. You know, when when God
- 3:20Speaker 7: is blessing you and giving you some some some great
- 3:23Speaker 7: opportunities in your life as all of you have gone through,
- 3:26Speaker 7: and it is. Isn't it amazing how some negative thing
- 3:30Speaker 7: crops up and that's what you have to focus on.
- 3:33Speaker 7: I found out that I don't have to, but you
- 3:36Speaker 7: wind up focusing on it, and your energy goes over
- 3:39Speaker 7: to that to try to deal with it, counteract. Wonder
- 3:43Speaker 7: why it was happening. You got to make phone calls,
- 3:45Speaker 7: what was this about? Blah blah blah blah blah, and
- 3:47Speaker 7: and it and it, and it throws you off the
- 3:51Speaker 7: course you are on the beginning of the week. I
- 3:54Speaker 7: was so grateful, I was so amazed. I was really
- 3:57Speaker 7: thanking God for opportunity for this brief moment. The enemy
- 4:02Speaker 7: slides this little factor in that it causes you and
- 4:07Speaker 7: it requires your attention. You have to pay it attention
- 4:10Speaker 7: because you don't know. You're going, wow, man, let me
- 4:12Speaker 7: see what this could really be? How much dirt is
- 4:15Speaker 7: this really that they're trying to do? And so it
- 4:18Speaker 7: requires your attention. But in that attention, you lose your
- 4:23Speaker 7: focus on really all the blessings and the good thing
- 4:26Speaker 7: that God does for you. The enemy has an amazing
- 4:31Speaker 7: trick that he does that. And it was in my head.
- 4:34Speaker 7: I got to tell y'all all week long, man, and
- 4:36Speaker 7: I was doing some amazing stuff. I was having such
- 4:41Speaker 7: a blessed week, man, in terms of press and pr
- 4:43Speaker 7: and where God was taking me. And then when I
- 4:48Speaker 7: got back, I was talking with my wife, and then
- 4:51Speaker 7: I was talking to a good friend of ours and
- 4:55Speaker 7: they shared something that really helped me out.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And they said to me, new level, new devil. You
- 5:06Speaker 2: know it's it's it's something really simple, but new level
- 5:10Speaker 2: new devil. Every time you go to another level, every
- 5:15Speaker 2: time you go a little bit higher, every time God
- 5:19Speaker 2: has a blessing in store for you, every time He
- 5:23Speaker 2: moves you in position, do you understand that the enemy's
- 5:27Speaker 2: job is to make you not see the blessing, make
- 5:31Speaker 2: you not be grateful for it, lose your focus and
- 5:34Speaker 2: focus on this that I just threw in your way,
- 5:37Speaker 2: this stumbling block, this obstacle, this trickery, And man, I was,
- 5:42Speaker 2: I was, I got it. I just got to tell you, man,
- 5:44Speaker 2: I mean it was so filled with hatred that I
- 5:48Speaker 2: had to I really spend some time addressing it, and
- 5:51Speaker 2: I got publicists on the phone. I said, what's what's
- 5:53Speaker 2: happening here? Y'all? Not watching this? Y'all not?
- 5:55Speaker 7: What was?
- 5:56Speaker 2: What was this attack?
- 5:57Speaker 1: You knew?
- 5:57Speaker 6: Do?
- 5:57Speaker 2: You didn't know these angles? What was you know?
- 6:00Speaker 7: Steve Chill? New level, new devil? If you get a
- 6:06Speaker 7: promotion on your job, guess what, somebody ain't happy that
- 6:11Speaker 7: you got the promotion.
- 6:12Speaker 2: So here come the hay. You don't even really know
- 6:15Speaker 2: these people. You have no idea.
- 6:18Speaker 7: Every time you make a decision to make your relationship
- 6:22Speaker 7: with your spouse better, man, this is it. You know
- 6:26Speaker 7: what I'm gonna start doing. I'm gonna do this, man,
- 6:28Speaker 7: so me and my girl can go in and have this,
- 6:30Speaker 7: or me and my man can go on and have this.
- 6:32Speaker 7: Watch what happened every single time? Here comes the new level,
- 6:38Speaker 7: the new devil, the trick. You don't need to do that.
- 6:41Speaker 7: What you're doing that for her? She don't appreciate it.
- 6:43Speaker 7: He ain't gonna appreciate it. Look over here, man, look
- 6:46Speaker 7: at that right there. Ain't he no you know he missed,
- 6:49Speaker 7: he ain't call you, and he said it's gonna all
- 6:51Speaker 7: types of stuff. It just happens all the time. And
- 6:54Speaker 7: I was sitting here talking with this friend, really good friend,
- 6:57Speaker 7: very spiritual person, and they said, uh, you know something, Steve.
- 7:01Speaker 7: You know, I was talking to Jesus and said I
- 7:04Speaker 7: was having this conversation with Christ. And I said, God,
- 7:08Speaker 7: for real, you mean to tell me every time that
- 7:12Speaker 7: something good happens to me? You mean every time I
- 7:17Speaker 7: try to go to the next level, every time you
- 7:19Speaker 7: put me on the next level. You mean to tell
- 7:21Speaker 7: me that I got to go through this right here?
- 7:24Speaker 2: Are you for real? And then my friend said, Jesus
- 7:29Speaker 2: said to her, they did it to me, and we
- 7:33Speaker 2: just fell out laughing. They did it to me. They
- 7:37Speaker 2: did it to him. They did it to him for
- 7:41Speaker 2: him to go to the next level.
- 7:43Speaker 7: And you know, I was just I was just going
- 7:45Speaker 7: over the whole story about the crucifixion and everything that
- 7:49Speaker 7: had to be amazing man of all the hate he had, ended,
- 7:52Speaker 7: all the prosecuting he had do it. They thought, ultimately,
- 7:56Speaker 7: what we'll do is we'll nail him on a cross
- 8:00Speaker 7: who's five and that'll be the end of him. And
- 8:02Speaker 7: we'll put him in this tune and we'll put this
- 8:04Speaker 7: big stone up there, and that'll be the end of him.
- 8:07Speaker 7: But what they did not know was all you was
- 8:10Speaker 7: doing was setting the tone for the next level, because
- 8:13Speaker 7: eventually the stone got rolled away and he went and
- 8:17Speaker 7: got placed with his father where he was headed to. Anyway,
- 8:21Speaker 7: he ultimately knew that his ultimate goal was to get
- 8:25Speaker 7: to his father. So when you when you when you
- 8:30Speaker 7: thought you were doing what you were doing to him,
- 8:34Speaker 7: and you put him in the tune, and you put
- 8:36Speaker 7: the big stone up in there, and the stone got
- 8:38Speaker 7: rolls got rolled away, and he went eventually to where
- 8:41Speaker 7: he was trying to get to. That story is in
- 8:46Speaker 7: place for all of us to remember that when we
- 8:51Speaker 7: are going through some things. Could it be because we're
- 8:54Speaker 7: going to a place, you know, It could be just
- 8:57Speaker 7: a place in life. It could be just a a
- 9:00Speaker 7: different level in life. That's all it has to be.
- 9:03Speaker 7: But there's going to be the adversarial challenges that come
- 9:08Speaker 7: with it, and those are the moments we must expect,
- 9:12Speaker 7: expect and take them head on and still not lose
- 9:16Speaker 7: your focus or appreciation for what God has done for you.
- 9:19Speaker 7: So in light of all of that, I'm able to
- 9:21Speaker 7: say today that I thank my heavenly Father I really
- 9:24Speaker 7: do for all the blessing seeds to bestowed upon me
- 9:28Speaker 7: and all of the haters, and all of the liars,
- 9:32Speaker 7: and all of the backstabers and all those people.
- 9:35Speaker 2: When you get through lyon, when you get through stabbing,
- 9:39Speaker 2: when you.
- 9:40Speaker 7: Get through gossiping and doing what you do, I'm still
- 9:45Speaker 7: going to the next level. I'm still going. You cannot
- 9:51Speaker 7: stop what God has in store for you. No one
- 9:56Speaker 7: can stop that.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:05Speaker 7: The time has come for us to show a massive
- 10:08Speaker 7: amount of gratitude to the one and only true God
- 10:12Speaker 7: that can make all these things happen on a daily basis.
- 10:16Speaker 2: First, the birth of a new day.
- 10:18Speaker 7: Nobody else can do it but Him giving you the
- 10:21Speaker 7: breath of life that is controlled by him. The sun
- 10:26Speaker 7: coming up today, that's his job and his job alone.
- 10:30Speaker 7: It's just so many great things that happen in the
- 10:32Speaker 7: course of a day that you can only say thank
- 10:35Speaker 7: you Lord for So.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I invite everybody to do the same. Man, start your
- 10:38Speaker 2: day with gratitude. It will affect your attitude, which has
- 10:42Speaker 2: a direct correlation to your altitude.
- 10:45Speaker 7: Yeah, a man is as he's thinking so get your
- 10:48Speaker 7: thinking right. Charlie Strawberry, Colin Frail, Mississippi Monica to come back,

- 10:56Speaker 2: What's going on with you today? Man?

- 11:50Speaker 7: Because I love everybody for different reasons, we don't have
- 11:53Speaker 7: none of us have the exact same relationship.
- 11:56Speaker 2: All of our relationships is different.
- 11:58Speaker 8: Okay, we go ahead, go ahead.
- 12:02Speaker 2: What do you mean, rank you high or the most?
- 12:08Speaker 7: I love Shirley the most because she been with me
- 12:11Speaker 7: the longest. What she's been with you the longest at

- 12:19Speaker 7: let's let's put let's let's change the word. She has

- 13:05Speaker 10: It is what it is.
- 13:06Speaker 7: Yeah, the three them three is above you. Ain't no

- 16:23Speaker 1: a country.
- 16:24Speaker 7: Yeah, stop right there, shop right there, somewhere off, fly
- 16:31Speaker 7: off to another country.
- 16:35Speaker 10: Read it says passed temperatures like one hundred degrees like
- 16:41Speaker 10: I got chains on me, black mail in a family of.

- 17:23Speaker 7: Yeah, little about a hundred degrees? Something did happened to me?
- 17:35Speaker 7: Already had a plan.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Yes, didn't have.
- 17:39Speaker 10: To go this way, ree, it says I, because I
- 17:46Speaker 10: can't figure out I could have been a love child.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Shouldn't have gone down this way? Tell me how did

- 19:09Speaker 10: Go ahead, let me move, Yeah, let me move, it says,
- 19:17Speaker 10: It says somebody not me wrong, not me wrong? Now
- 19:23Speaker 10: my eyes to the ceiling all night long, all night long,
- 19:27Speaker 10: time is slipping away from me, and ain't no telling
- 19:34Speaker 10: when I get home.

- 19:56Speaker 2: family tree.
- 19:58Speaker 7: Yeah, then raw, I'm doing my destiny. Now record our
- 20:05Speaker 7: fly away.
- 20:06Speaker 6: Come on.
- 20:08Speaker 7: Because there's too much for the man. Yes, he is
- 20:12Speaker 7: sitting going down this way. Whatever happened to my master playing?
- 20:19Speaker 2: Tell it? How did I get it?
- 20:21Speaker 10: Live? Li Lie?

- 21:45Speaker 11: after you mop? Power mop gives you a deeper clean
- 21:48Speaker 11: you can see and feel.
- 21:50Speaker 5: Unlike stream mops sweart for power mop absorbs more dirt
- 21:54Speaker 5: and locks it away even and hard to reach places
- 21:57Speaker 5: like behind the toilet, the new micro scrubber deliver thousands
- 22:01Speaker 5: of tiny deep cleaning actions for results that look, smell,
- 22:04Speaker 5: and feel clean. No more dirty floors. Try the swear

- 22:20Speaker 11: great show planned for you, but right now it is
- 22:23Speaker 11: time to ask the CLO our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 22:28Speaker 11: This is from Dana in Kilgore. Dana writes, my husband
- 22:32Speaker 11: does the grocery shopping and all of the cooking. I
- 22:36Speaker 11: found out he shops for his kids as well and
- 22:38Speaker 11: drops off snacks at their mom's house. This is in
- 22:41Speaker 11: addition to the monthly child support he pays. Should I

- 22:57Speaker 7: All the cooking sold, just buying some of the extra
- 23:00Speaker 7: stuff for his kids. Because you know, it's one thing

- 25:20Speaker 1: Looped me in. And am I wrong or right?
- 25:22Speaker 2: Well? He told you he going over there to help
- 25:26Speaker 2: your sister. He just told you that. Yeah, he told
- 25:29Speaker 2: you that.
- 25:31Speaker 11: Yeah, he told she well, you know the wife wants
- 25:34Speaker 11: to know before, well, he told her before he went
- 25:38Speaker 11: over there, before it went down. You know, No, it
- 25:43Speaker 11: ain't went down yet. He said, I'm getting ready to

- 26:08Speaker 11: brother in law of Well, no.
- 26:10Speaker 7: It ain't nothing she called. They got that type of

- 27:14Speaker 7: talked to you about it. He might have thought that,
- 27:16Speaker 7: but ain't no need to get on him.

- 39:30Speaker 7: were supporters of his Marjorie Taylor Green, whatever her name is,
- 39:37Speaker 7: all of these people were huge supporters. Are now that
- 39:40Speaker 7: there's there's some cracks in the army, there's a real chance,
- 39:44Speaker 7: uh here, that he could lose the meal terms because
- 39:46Speaker 7: a lot of people feel like it. But then at
- 39:48Speaker 7: the same time, I saw him at the UFC fight
- 39:51Speaker 7: in Miami, and then you thought they loved the dude.
- 39:55Speaker 7: I mean you just yeah, yeah, the president was at
- 39:58Speaker 7: the UFC fight because he's friends with Dana. I happen
- 40:01Speaker 7: to liked Dana Dana White, you know. But it's so
- 40:07Speaker 7: it's crazy, man, It's just it's just but this is
- 40:11Speaker 7: a typical America.
- 40:12Speaker 6: Though.
- 40:13Speaker 11: This is America completely divided on calling Trump the greatest
- 40:19Speaker 11: president ever in the goat all of that, and the people, yes,
- 40:23Speaker 11: every time I say that, you're a surprised Tommy.
- 40:26Speaker 7: Yeah, well there are people saying that, and there is
- 40:29Speaker 7: clear I mean, America has shown its true colors in
- 40:33Speaker 7: this administration, and it's shown their true colors as a country.
- 40:38Speaker 7: America has shown the world who they really are, and

- 57:01Speaker 11: divorced and he was in a bitter custody battle with
- 57:04Speaker 11: his ex wife. His daughter is very sweet and she
- 57:08Speaker 11: loves her dad, but the ex wife is dead set
- 57:11Speaker 11: on her not having a relationship with her dad.
- 57:14Speaker 1: When we met, he.
- 57:15Speaker 11: Had to limit communication with his ex because she told everybody.
- 57:19Speaker 11: He kept calling her to work things out and he
- 57:22Speaker 11: wanted his family back. I never gave it any of
- 57:25Speaker 11: my attention, but it really bothered him. Now he only
- 57:28Speaker 11: communicates with her by texting, so she can't lie on him.
- 57:33Speaker 11: They have joint custody and he pays her child support.
- 57:36Speaker 11: She didn't like the amount of child support the judge
- 57:39Speaker 11: ordered him to pay, so he pays a little more
- 57:42Speaker 11: every month. Nothing he's done makes her happy thus far. Meanwhile,
- 57:47Speaker 11: we haven't had his daughter sleep over at our house
- 57:49Speaker 11: in two years. I thought maybe if I befriended his
- 57:53Speaker 11: ex that would help things out, but she told me
- 57:56Speaker 11: not to ever call her phone again. A few months
- 58:00Speaker 11: after that, she texted me to say her behavior was
- 58:02Speaker 11: uncalled for and we could be cordial, but that didn't
- 58:06Speaker 11: last long. She continued to deny visitation to my husband.
- 58:11Speaker 11: We want to take his daughter, who's twelve years old now,
- 58:14Speaker 11: to South Carolina with us for spring break. His ex
- 58:17Speaker 11: wife said his daughter can't go on a trip with
- 58:20Speaker 11: us unless she goes too same thing with weekend visits
- 58:24Speaker 11: at our house. If the daughter sleeps over, the ex
- 58:27Speaker 11: wife has to come too. I don't want this woman
- 58:30Speaker 11: sleeping in my house. My husband said it may be
- 58:32Speaker 11: the only way for him to enjoy time with his child.
- 58:36Speaker 11: He is ready to seek full custody. What would you
- 58:39Speaker 11: do in this situation? WHOA, I don't know, but I
- 58:43Speaker 11: think you know that's a good place to start. To
- 58:45Speaker 11: go ahead and seek full custody, go back to the court.
- 58:50Speaker 11: I think your husband is in a horrible position because
- 58:53Speaker 11: you know, despite all the craziness from his ex wife,
- 58:56Speaker 11: he wants to see his baby. Bottom line, he doesn't
- 58:59Speaker 11: have any options because of this ugly acting woman. She's evil,
- 59:04Speaker 11: she's out of line, and she's obviously a miserable, very
- 59:06Speaker 11: bitter person, and she's abusing her power and using her daughter,
- 59:10Speaker 11: putting her daughter right in the middle, using her as
- 59:13Speaker 11: a pond, and that's just wrong to do children like that.
- 59:17Speaker 11: But on the other hand, you, I think, are an angel.
- 59:20Speaker 11: I mean, you've been over backwards to be accommodating to
- 59:23Speaker 11: this woman, and that says you have love for your
- 59:26Speaker 11: husband and for his daughter, your stepdaughter. Your husband is
- 59:30Speaker 11: the very opposite of a deadbeat dad doesn't fit that
- 59:34Speaker 11: stereotype at all.
- 59:35Speaker 1: He pays more child support than the court ordered.
- 59:39Speaker 11: You can't get a lot of dads to pay even
- 59:41Speaker 11: the child's even anything, let alone more so, that's good
- 59:46Speaker 11: a father who wants to be a major part of
- 59:48Speaker 11: her life. The thing is, your daughter really is old
- 59:52Speaker 11: enough to choose for herself what parents she wants to
- 59:54Speaker 11: be with.
- 59:54Speaker 1: She just can't because she's a minor.
- 59:56Speaker 11: And I feel sorry in that regard because divorce is
- 1:00:00Speaker 11: so hard on children. I don't even understand why this
- 1:00:04Speaker 11: woman wants to stay in the house.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 1:00:05Speaker 11: Could it be that she still wants your husband? I
- 1:00:08Speaker 11: would say the answer to that is yes. Does she
- 1:00:11Speaker 11: want to make your lives a living hell because she's
- 1:00:13Speaker 11: so miserable and unhappy?
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I think that would be a yes too.
- 1:00:18Speaker 11: But you know, you got to think about what's best
- 1:00:21Speaker 11: for the child and right now until he goes to court,
- 1:00:24Speaker 11: you know, I don't know.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Could you guys get two hotel rooms? Can you afford that?
- 1:00:29Speaker 11: And you know, let the wife stand one and with
- 1:00:34Speaker 11: the child and you and the husband stand the other one.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: At least she won't be in your house. I don't know.
- 1:00:40Speaker 11: Maybe this will work out until he can get to
- 1:00:43Speaker 11: the court and fix it. At least he can see
- 1:00:44Speaker 11: his baby.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Steve.
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: I don't really know what to say to this let
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: her kind of stupid to me, I wouldn't even rote in,
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: but just him. Well, you met your husband four years ago.
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: The subject his ex wife wants to sleep over? Sleep
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: over where? So this lady's writing his letter and she's
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: talking about her husband's ex wants to sleep over at
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: their house. Yeah, he got divorced. Bitter custody battle. Daughter
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: sweet loves her dad. Ex wife don't want them, have
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: no relationship.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: They met.
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: They had limited communication with his act because she told everybody.
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: He kept calling at work trying to work stuff out
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: because he wanted.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: His family back.
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: She ain't paid no attention. So now he on the
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: community by Texas so she can't lowder. He paid child support,
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: She don't like the amount he paid more. Don't nothing
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: make her happy?
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: They ain't had his daughter sleep at their house in
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: two years.
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: The reason I'm reading this letter again is because I
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: want you to see how some people use children as
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: ponds to get back at the.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Other party. For whatever reason. We don't know why they
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: divorced but obviously whether it was her fault. But it
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: takes two people to get a divorce. Somebody two people. Look,
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: somebody may initiate it wrong, but when you get a divorce,
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: two people did something that wasn't cool where you handle
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: it or something.
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: So it takes two people to get a divorce. So
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: you thought that you should be freeing this crazy helpful.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Here's a woman that don't care what her baby think,
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: but you think you gonna get her to start making
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: sense to you. She don't care nothing about you because
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: she don't care nothing about her child.
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: When you use a child as a pawn in the relationship,
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: the damage that you think you're doing to the other party,
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: whatever you're doing to the other party, to apply that
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: by ten, because that's what's happening with the child.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: All right, Steve hold that thought.
- 1:03:05Speaker 11: Okay, we're gonna have part two of your response coming
- 1:03:07Speaker 11: up at twenty three minutes after the hour today's Strawberry
- 1:03:11Speaker 11: Letters subject his ex wife wants to sleep over. We'll
- 1:03:13Speaker 11: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:03:17Speaker 11: Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: Do you ever notice your floors still look dirty even
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: after you mop? Power mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: you can see and feel. Unlike stream mops, Swart for
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: Power mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even

- 1:03:47Speaker 5: dirty floors. Try the Sweart for Power Mop. Love it
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: or your money back?
- 1:03:52Speaker 11: All right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's strawberry letters
- 1:03:55Speaker 11: subject his ex wife wants to sleep over?
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Now, who do that for? Who? First of all, let's
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: be real about this. Anybody finna let you the ex
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: wife stay at This is this woman's house. Ain't no
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: woman letting your letting her husband's ex wife sleep over
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: because she demands it. Yeah, it would be different if
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: some extenuating circumstances they house burned down and they needed
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: a place to stay for a couple of days. Got that.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: But she won't let the baby come over to the
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: y'all's house.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: In for two years and spend the night.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: And spend the night the daughter loves to daddy.
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: You try to befend, You, try to befriend this crazy
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: woman that don't care nothing about her daughter.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: So now.
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: She said they want to take the daughter, who's twelve
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: years old, to South Carolina with them for spring break.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: His wife said, his daughter can't.
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: Go on the trip with us unless she go too.
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: We're not infind to pay for you to come nowhere
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: else break. His ex wife said, his daughter can't go
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: on the trip with us unless she goes to same
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: thing that weekend, visit our house.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: If your daughter sleeps over, the ex wife has.
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: To come too. I don't want this woman sleeping in
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: my house. My husband said it may be the only
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: way for him to enjoy time with his child. He's
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: ready to seek full custody. What do you think of
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: this situation? First of all, sir, you're gonna have to
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: find I know you want to see your daughter, but
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: that ex wife demanded to.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Sleep over the house. There's no reason that that should
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: be the case.
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: You've got to get a lawyer and get unsupervised visits.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: And you've got to get weak in rights to your daughter.
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: Now, I don't know if they gonna give you full custody,
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: because for a court to take a child away from
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: a mother, you have to be an unfit mom. Crazy
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: don't count as unfit because she's not an abusing the daughter.
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: She just abusing the man, which in turn abusing the daughter.
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: Ain't no court fit to do that. But let me
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: tell you why you really can't have this healthy house.
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: Come on, let's just go over couple of things. Let's
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: just start with number one. Sleep over your house. Wake
- 1:06:18Speaker 7: up this crazy to hell for standing over you with
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: a butcher knife. That's for start.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: Now you walking all in the kitchen. Her crazy in
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: there making sandwiches. This ain't your house, can't be in
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: it doing this in here?
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: She down seat, the bottle load of clothes over She downstairs,
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: washing the load of clothes in your Laundei mad, don't
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: let this helper in your house, knocking.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: On the bathroom door. You and there in the bathroom,
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: she knocking on the door. What's taking here?
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: So long?
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: Hair? Help?
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I need to get in there in your house?
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: You and there, She rearranging furniture.
- 1:06:58Speaker 10: I don't like the.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Sofa over here. I want it over here. Oh sitting
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: up in here.
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: Snatch the remote out your hand, make everybody watch forty
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: eight hours. Don't let this crazy hell in your house.
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: You go downstairs. She walking around with her bron panties
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: on talking about what you want, what you want, not that.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Walking down the house humming, what's she humming?
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: Steck, gotta feel you gotta feely, Uh, gotta feel.
- 1:07:52Speaker 7: Somebody's tried to sneak in my friend.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: On here, you know.
- 1:08:02Speaker 11: Like that.
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: No, that's just crazy health in your house being here
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: lighting candles and stuff, and I'm less say.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: They all kind of stuff. Go in that kitchen she
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: and there got two chicken feet in there with a
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: bird beach.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Oh lord, yeah, crazy, Yeah, I feel bad.
- 1:08:29Speaker 10: Man.
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: But he has to go to court though, and work
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: out something and get visitation and weak ends. Gott to
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: have week ends with your child.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: They already have joint custody though, I mean, but see if.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: She you can enforce the joint custody. She can't make
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: the rules of the joint custody because the father hasn't
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: been ruled unfit.
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: So he has to have weak ends. He's paying child custody,
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: I mean child support. He should have rights and a
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: weekend with his daughter every other.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Weekend he's without the mama.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: Question, So is it?
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: Is it?
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: Perhaps maybe spring break is her week and she doesn't
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: want to give that week up, and that's why she's
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: demanding to go.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: No, this is not only the spring break.
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: The girl ain't been to the house in two years,
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: so this is way beyond the spring break. She won't
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: even let the daughter come to the house to see
- 1:09:31Speaker 7: the man, right because being because she bid him.
- 1:09:36Speaker 11: Yes, sir, and I can't stand when they use the
- 1:09:39Speaker 11: children as pawns right in the middle the child. Yeah,
- 1:09:43Speaker 11: you're hurting this child. She wants to see her dad,
- 1:09:46Speaker 11: and the dad wants to spend time with her. All right,
- 1:09:49Speaker 11: thank you, all right? Post your comments on today's Strawberry

- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Another one, got another one.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: Guard He is really really hard.
- 1:11:35Speaker 9: Yeah that's your statement.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that game is hard, man.
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: That game is hard because those are the best players
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: in the world and to watch them out there struggle.
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: Can you imagine being out there trying to do what
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: they do? Hey, have you heard the thing that they offered.
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: They said, if you were if you were playing in
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: the Masters, and you were on the eighteenth hole or
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: one of them holes, they said, and they put your
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: ball on the furthest point of the green, away from
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: the flag, and all you had to do was putt.
- 1:12:08Speaker 7: Could you beat a professional player getting the ball in
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: the hole? He starts back into tea box. He still
- 1:12:14Speaker 7: got to drive you.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you can just putt? Can you beat him
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: on the Masters? I'm gonna beat your nerves.
- 1:12:23Speaker 9: Don't have nothing to do with skill, just nerve.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I'ma I'm gonna put four times, trust me.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: At the Masters. Yeah, you think all you're gonna put
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: his full time?
- 1:12:37Speaker 10: I'm already on the green. Yeah, i'mnna put four times.
- 1:12:40Speaker 10: I ain't gonna put four times.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: So you're gonna tie the pro because he gonna paw.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna paw. I get four times at putting though,
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: I got to get it in there. Yeah yeah, I got.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: I got all my money on that pro.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Well, yeah, he's the pro.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: No, I'm talking about from back there to tee. I don't.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: The regular person doesn't understand how hard it is to
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: put at the Masters.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Junior, does any of this make you want to take
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: up golf?
- 1:13:13Speaker 8: I'm tell you, I think puts is pretty good.
- 1:13:17Speaker 7: Folks, Okay, cool, Hey JR. I bet I could take
- 1:13:22Speaker 7: you on any golf course, put you on the furthest,
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: not even the Masters, just a regular country club. I
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: could put you on any putting surface and have you
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: farthest away from the pin and you won't get.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: It in and full. Did you see serge? Hey man,
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: I think we're about to get a bet on.
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: It.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: I'm thinking about it.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Time's running out, Junior.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: You think about it? I take that. Come on, put
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: my man furthest part of the green. Oh yes, sir,
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: All right, Junior, thank you. I'm coming up.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: At the top of the hour.
- 1:14:01Speaker 11: A wife is frustrated with her husband's behavior and she
- 1:14:05Speaker 11: needs some advice. We'll get into that right after this.
- 1:14:07Speaker 11: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is
- 1:14:14Speaker 11: from Ali in Chicago. Ali says, my husband is not
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: the type to put gas in my car or keep
- 1:14:21Speaker 11: my car clean for me. I do all of that myself,
- 1:14:24Speaker 11: so I have a problem when he drives my car
- 1:14:27Speaker 11: without asking. He said, he pays the car note, but
- 1:14:30Speaker 11: that's not enough for me. He started out being a gentleman,
- 1:14:34Speaker 11: but after the first two years of our marriage, he
- 1:14:36Speaker 11: stopped taking care of me.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: And it's not just the car.
- 1:14:40Speaker 11: He is falling short with cleaning up after himself, and
- 1:14:42Speaker 11: he stopped washing his own clothes. But if I tell
- 1:14:46Speaker 11: him that I'm too tired for sex, he just loses it.
- 1:14:50Speaker 11: How do I demand respect from my husband?
- 1:14:54Speaker 7: You demanded by withholding that not having sex, you think
- 1:14:58Speaker 7: he losing me. Keep on not having it, and then
- 1:15:01Speaker 7: start washing your clothes and don't wash his well and
- 1:15:08Speaker 7: hide your keys to your car.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: So he can't get in there.
- 1:15:13Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, okay, So that my wife came in and
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: asked me, because she drive my car, one guess and let.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: Me take whatever y'all care.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: But you could guess in your car, in her car
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: and keep her car clean for her, right, you do
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: all of that? I got your driver.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Sure, I haven't been to gas station since two thousand.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean, say you were just regular. You're
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: just a regular person.
- 1:15:40Speaker 10: Think that you need a regular ride, You need to
- 1:15:43Speaker 10: go do a regular day. You need to go get game.
- 1:15:46Speaker 10: We need to go and walk. I need to take
- 1:15:47Speaker 10: you on a regular day. We're gonna go by Walmart.
- 1:15:49Speaker 10: We're gonna pick up a little something. We're gonna gonna
- 1:15:52Speaker 10: go to the cars.
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: I'm gonna go to Costco. Yeah, I'm not going to
- 1:16:01Speaker 7: Costco because because they was talking about on the show
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: one day and I ain't being enough, they told me
- 1:16:07Speaker 7: I had to have a membership. I said, lady, I
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: promise you if I walk up to that door, they're
- 1:16:11Speaker 7: gonna let me hold about that membership.
- 1:16:14Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:16:15Speaker 11: Yeah, but my point was, you don't. You wouldn't let
- 1:16:17Speaker 11: your wife have to clean her own car and put gas.
- 1:16:20Speaker 11: You would take care of your wife's car.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: That was my own point always have.
- 1:16:24Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, all right, we do have time for another one.
- 1:16:28Speaker 11: This is from Brene and Charlotte. Renee says, my husband
- 1:16:31Speaker 11: had an outside child, and the child lives with us.
- 1:16:34Speaker 11: I've raised a girl and helped pay for her private school.
- 1:16:37Speaker 11: She's about to graduate from high school and she wants
- 1:16:39Speaker 11: her biological mom to stand with her on class day.
- 1:16:43Speaker 11: I am beyond hurt, and it's hard for me to
- 1:16:46Speaker 11: act like I'm not upset over this. I still have
- 1:16:48Speaker 11: to buy her graduation dress and shoes. How do I
- 1:16:51Speaker 11: get past this and still.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Show up for her?
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: Wow, that's a that's a tough one.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: It's a blow.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a tough one. That's a tough one. Yeah,
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: been there, did all of it? You know, that's crazy,
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: that's crazy. That's it. I don't I don't know.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Just just go there and just just go there and
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: just yeah, be there because you've been there.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's a tough one.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: It really is.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: I haven't been there. I haven't been there yet.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: But who don't say yet? But yeah, I mean you
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: ain't you ain't yet, don't.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Shit.
- 1:17:29Speaker 11: This is She talks about being beyond her She's gone
- 1:17:32Speaker 11: over and above everything.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: She's taking care.
- 1:17:35Speaker 11: Of her son, her husband's outside child, a child he
- 1:17:39Speaker 11: had outside of the marriage, pay for her private school,
- 1:17:43Speaker 11: did all this, and and the girl, the daughter wants
- 1:17:47Speaker 11: to have her biological mom.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: The daughter is in a tough spot.
- 1:17:52Speaker 7: Too ill to understand that because the daughter is going, wow,
- 1:17:56Speaker 7: my mom wants to feel included in something.
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:18:01Speaker 11: Yeah, but don't take the wife or the mother you've
- 1:18:04Speaker 11: known all this time for granted and not appreciate what
- 1:18:08Speaker 11: she's done.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: But you know, well, what you think the solution should be, Shirley,
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: let me ask you that.
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: Well.
- 1:18:14Speaker 11: I mean, I just I think, like you said, I
- 1:18:17Speaker 11: agree with you that the mother who helped raise her
- 1:18:20Speaker 11: and pay for her schooling, I think she should definitely
- 1:18:22Speaker 11: be there. But I mean, you know, maybe the solution
- 1:18:25Speaker 11: is just to tell her, the young girl, how she feels,
- 1:18:29Speaker 11: you know, because you don't want to be What I
- 1:18:30Speaker 11: would do.
- 1:18:31Speaker 7: Is I go to the event and then keep out
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: on the biological mother and she better not go to
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: the bathroom. Is going to break out, She's not going
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: to Yeah, I'm not going to bass. We're gonna do
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: it in the bathroom, don't.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:18:51Speaker 11: All right, thank you, Steve. Coming up more of the
- 1:18:54Speaker 11: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to
- 1:18:57Speaker 11: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:19:13Speaker 11: she received from a celebrity couple.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Kiky said, quote, they.
- 1:19:17Speaker 11: Came up to me very normal. I respected that they
- 1:19:20Speaker 11: were like, look, me and my husband would love to
- 1:19:24Speaker 11: blah blah blah.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: And I was like, thank you.
- 1:19:27Speaker 11: You know I wasn't into it, but I was like,
- 1:19:29Speaker 11: thank you. So the reason I mentioned your name, Steve
- 1:19:32Speaker 11: is your star of course. And has this ever happened
- 1:19:35Speaker 11: to you, Tommy, you haven't hit TV show?
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: But me to you, what do you mean brain that?
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: Why do you how you bring that to me?
- 1:19:50Speaker 11: No, I'm just saying because you're a star. Okay, you're
- 1:19:55Speaker 11: a star, and I mean people could come up to
- 1:19:58Speaker 11: you and say stuff like that. You know, they find
- 1:20:02Speaker 11: you sexy, and they what's.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Wrong with that?
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Ain't nobody never first of what's.
- 1:20:07Speaker 11: Wrong with me saying that doing it first of all?
- 1:20:12Speaker 7: Should ain't no man no send it? Listen to me,
- 1:20:16Speaker 7: shuldy sending no woman up to me telling about me
- 1:20:19Speaker 7: and my husband want you to join us? Because see
- 1:20:22Speaker 7: I have I have one steadfast rule when I'm in
- 1:20:25Speaker 7: the room. Yeah, that can only be one person in
- 1:20:29Speaker 7: the room, especially when it involves six it has a zipple,
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: It can only be.
- 1:20:33Speaker 10: One person in this room with a zipple. Okay, now
- 1:20:36Speaker 10: this man got to wait outside and look through the dome.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: Come all right, coming up we'll play around it.

- 1:21:58Speaker 10: I'm just a big sam fan, all right, because because
- 1:22:02Speaker 10: he gonna cuss me out till I get it right.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna get it right.
- 1:22:04Speaker 7: Well, the reason I'm gonna pick Sam is because he
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: gonna let me cuss. Good job, Let's go play some golf.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Yeah, what if the script doesn't call for cussing, then
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: what why is we doing it?
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: I think saying, I don't know why he cussing in
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: the script?
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: Samn, that was night. They don't belong that. What is
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: going in there? All right?
- 1:22:31Speaker 11: Would you rather get rid of all your facial hair?
- 1:22:34Speaker 11: Or would you rather have a big old belly? I
- 1:22:37Speaker 11: gotta take the stomach. I need this little bit of
- 1:22:40Speaker 11: hair I got.
- 1:22:41Speaker 10: I got the stumbach, heybody, I got both of them now.
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: Anyways, all right?
- 1:22:50Speaker 11: Would you rather baked chicken that's over seasoned or just
- 1:22:54Speaker 11: doesn't have any season at seasoning at all?
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: That overseas?
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: Overseasons?
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna say something though, What do you mean
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: shicken really salty?
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: Y'all know that, but you know it's real sout that off?
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: You wt some of it?
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: Don you pat some of it?
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: All?
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: I'm putting light headed?
- 1:23:16Speaker 11: All right, Let's stick with the food. Would you rather
- 1:23:19Speaker 11: eat hamburger helper every day for two weeks? Or would
- 1:23:22Speaker 11: you rather eat ramen noodles every day for two weeks.
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: I hate that Hamburger helper for four years all through school,
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: I think I had.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Yeah, he was after me.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: See that's definitely noodles came later. He worried Hamburger o them.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: Noodles is just what they say.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Hey, noodle, it needs some help.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: You did it? Put Genie wingers in them and everything?
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: You eat everything?
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:23:52Speaker 11: Would you, guys, rather go fishing? You know how you
- 1:23:54Speaker 11: love fishing, Steve, you love fishing. Would you rather go
- 1:23:58Speaker 11: fishing with Donald Trump? Or would you rather share a
- 1:24:01Speaker 11: fish sandwich with your ex?
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: Which one.
- 1:24:05Speaker 7: With Trump?
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: Out there with Trump?
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: What be nothing? With my ex?
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Caught a bus one?
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: That's a hard one, man, Yeah, that's a hard one.
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: Sitting on that boat with Donald Trump. You can believe
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: that you.
- 1:24:25Speaker 11: Can cut the fish sandwich in half and give her
- 1:24:28Speaker 11: her half and you eat your what you'd rather just
- 1:24:31Speaker 11: catch some fish?
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Guys? That's today's rounded. Would you rather?

- 1:25:27Speaker 11: we are on this Monday, last break of the day.

- 1:25:35Speaker 11: see if our our nation is the best.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: We love you guys. We appreciate so much.
- 1:25:39Speaker 11: We do.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: All right, Steve Junior has a question for you.
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: Okay, look what's on your mind?
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: Thank you so good, so many things. Just talk to
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: us about developing a skill set where you always stayed
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: a course. You know you've accomplished so much, but you've
- 1:25:56Speaker 8: never quit on pretty much nothing I've ever seen you do.
- 1:26:00Speaker 7: Well. See, here's the thing about quitting. I take quitting
- 1:26:07Speaker 7: as an option off the table because if you quit,
- 1:26:11Speaker 7: the possibility of it happening is gone. If you quit,
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: there is no turning it around. If you quit, there
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: is no victory even possible. And then if you quit,
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: I just can't see myself living with the.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: Uh, you know what is it?
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: There's not resentment regret, it's regret.
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: I can't see myself living with that much regret. That's
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: why quitting for me is not an option.
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: Sometimes you can stay with something so long that's just
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: not meant to be. You can do that.
- 1:26:59Speaker 7: I've done that too, So you know, the same thing
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: that's one of my strengths can also be one of
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: your curses. Like I will ride a situation until the
- 1:27:10Speaker 7: wheels come off. Every situation doesn't require that. And so
- 1:27:15Speaker 7: you have to have a voice of discernment. You have
- 1:27:18Speaker 7: to have good quality people around you to help you
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: sort of figure some of this stuff out. I give
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: you an example. I made my first meme ever in
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: my life. I've never made a meme before, and I
- 1:27:30Speaker 7: made it last week and it was a funny meme
- 1:27:35Speaker 7: and I used it as a joke on family feud.
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: And I did this put this meme up on this
- 1:27:39Speaker 7: family feud board that I had made. Audience be cracking up.
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: So I sent it to my son as my social
- 1:27:45Speaker 7: media team, and I say, hey, man, I'm gonna post this.
- 1:27:48Speaker 7: I'm gonna put this capture with it. They said, no,
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: you're not, and I said, well why not? They said,
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: because you're Steve Harvey. I said, yeah, but it's funny.
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: She said, yes, Steve, but if she you, I got that.
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: It's funny. But that's not what people expect from you.
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: People expect to be motivated by you, to be inspired
- 1:28:12Speaker 7: by you, to be uplifted by you, and you're making
- 1:28:16Speaker 7: a mean against another human being. He said, that's just
- 1:28:20Speaker 7: not your brand. So you got to have people around you,
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: man to help you make decisions. You can make some
- 1:28:27Speaker 7: decisions that will force you to quit something. You've seen
- 1:28:32Speaker 7: that many times in this life. You can actually make
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: a decision that forces you to quit. So it's not
- 1:28:38Speaker 7: about you. Quitting is just you made an action, You
- 1:28:41Speaker 7: made a choice, and the consequences were so dire that
- 1:28:44Speaker 7: you had to you had to give up your position.
- 1:28:47Speaker 7: So I've done them all and I just try not
- 1:28:51Speaker 7: to be that way, even though quitting is not an option.
- 1:28:55Speaker 7: I try not to do stuff just so stupid that
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: it will cause me to have to quit. How many
- 1:29:00Speaker 7: times on this morning show have I said something and
- 1:29:03Speaker 7: because we got a dump button, y'all dumped it before
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: it got out and went are you out of your mind?
- 1:29:09Speaker 7: You can't possibly think. Listen, Carla and Shirley has saved
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: this show so many times. I listen to me. I
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: am telling you right now, of the twenty twenty one
- 1:29:30Speaker 7: years we've been on the radio, Yeah, I promise you,
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: they've saved this show at least fifteen times. I mean
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: saved it, man, flat out saved it. Now, me and
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: Tommy and Junior, let's go run it.
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: We're gonna do it.
- 1:29:48Speaker 6: What are you?
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: What are y'all talking? Mom? We laughing hard as hell.
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: It was gonna be funny to the three comedians, but
- 1:29:55Speaker 7: it's gonna cost us, So you know, Junior, Quitting for
- 1:29:59Speaker 7: me has never been to develop the mindset. Man, you
- 1:30:03Speaker 7: must understand that everything you want in life is on
- 1:30:07Speaker 7: the other side of uncomfortable, and you got to go
- 1:30:11Speaker 7: through the uncomfortable things to get to the things that
- 1:30:13Speaker 7: you want. And in the uncomfortable times is when people
- 1:30:17Speaker 7: usually quit. But if you don't fight through the uncomfortable times,
- 1:30:21Speaker 7: you will never get to the other side. And what
- 1:30:23Speaker 7: you want is on the other side. What you want
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: seem like is always across the street, don't it. And

- 1:31:00Speaker 2: can't quit, man, just got to stay with it. The
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: best way to develop that attitude is to ride something
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: all the way out and see what it feels like
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: when you got there. It'll build up your confidence, it'll
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: build up your thirst, it'll satisfy your needs. But you
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: got to stay with it. Don't quit, man, don't quit.
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: I'm not known as a quitter.
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: Now.

- 1:31:33Speaker 7: show business? Yeah, as a price you pay for it.
- 1:31:37Speaker 7: It's a price you pray for that too. Now I
