- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on, dig me NW one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Okay, here we go today, folks.
- 2:14Speaker 1: This is a good one because today I want to
- 2:18Speaker 1: share with you something that affects every living soul, and
- 2:25Speaker 1: that one thing is your attitude. This affects everyone. It
- 2:32Speaker 1: is your attitude. You know. I don't know if anyone's
- 2:38Speaker 1: ever told you, but I mean many of you who
- 2:40Speaker 1: listen know this. But there are a lot of people
- 2:43Speaker 1: who don't understand a positive attitude can bring about a change.
- 2:52Speaker 1: A positive attitude can bring about a change. Well, now
- 2:56Speaker 1: here we go with the nay says well, Steve, what
- 2:57Speaker 1: you mean if I'm just positive being chained? My mama gone,
- 3:00Speaker 1: what me being positive? Got to do with that. Okay,
- 3:03Speaker 1: Now listen to me carefully. A positive attitude can bring
- 3:08Speaker 1: about change. Well, okay, Steve, I hear you saying that,
- 3:12Speaker 1: But they didn't fired me. So now what does my
- 3:15Speaker 1: having a positive attitude have to do with the fact
- 3:17Speaker 1: that they fired me? Well, one more time, A positive
- 3:23Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change. Or Steve, I set up
- 3:29Speaker 1: in here and gave eight nine, twelve years of my
- 3:33Speaker 1: life to this man and he just he cheated on
- 3:36Speaker 1: me and walked out. Now what does me being positive
- 3:39Speaker 1: have to do with him cheating on me? How that's
- 3:42Speaker 1: gonna change that? Okay, here we go again. A positive
- 3:47Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change. Now listen to the whole thing. Now,
- 3:52Speaker 1: the positive attitude and the change that can happen starts
- 3:59Speaker 1: just to start. It starts within you. See, life is
- 4:07Speaker 1: ten percent of what happens is what you do about
- 4:10Speaker 1: what happens. Okay, you gave twelve years of your life
- 4:13Speaker 1: to this man. He cheated and left you. Hold in
- 4:15Speaker 1: the bag, the kids and everything. Now, what does being
- 4:19Speaker 1: positive have to do with changing that? Or they came
- 4:22Speaker 1: in and they fired you. You lost your job that
- 4:24Speaker 1: you was a stellar performer at. But now how does
- 4:28Speaker 1: you having a positive attitude? How does that change things
- 4:32Speaker 1: for you? So far? You can use any example. Here's
- 4:36Speaker 1: what happens when you have a positive attitude. What it
- 4:41Speaker 1: produces within you is a positive approach to life. And
- 4:46Speaker 1: when you have a positive attitude and a positive approach
- 4:49Speaker 1: to life, it causes you to be optimistic, to have
- 4:54Speaker 1: a positive out look, to expect things to eat virtually
- 5:00Speaker 1: turn around, and and and and turn into a positive
- 5:04Speaker 1: That's very important because as the law of attraction comes
- 5:07Speaker 1: into play, if you think positive thoughts, you attract positive things.
- 5:15Speaker 1: If you think evil thoughts, you attract evil to you.
- 5:19Speaker 1: You know, if you want for nothing, then nothing comes
- 5:23Speaker 1: your way. If you want for a positive attitude, if
- 5:26Speaker 1: you want for positive results, if you want for a
- 5:28Speaker 1: great outcome, that's what you attract to you. The change
- 5:32Speaker 1: will begin within you. So let's take the man that
- 5:35Speaker 1: walked out your life and left you hold in the bag.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Here's a positive attitude. Okay, two things have happened as
- 5:43Speaker 1: positive here. Number one, you've ridd it yourself of someone
- 5:47Speaker 1: who is obviously going to be, if not already been,
- 5:51Speaker 1: toxic in your life, cause you many restless nights, a
- 5:55Speaker 1: lot of uncomfortable feelings, an uneasiness, not sure security. You've
- 6:01Speaker 1: been going through it with this person, whoever they are.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Number One, that person has been released from your life.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Number Two, it allows you now to have the someone
- 6:12Speaker 1: who will treat you just the way you want to
- 6:14Speaker 1: be treated. That's the positive outlook, that's the optimistic way.
- 6:18Speaker 1: That's when you're a positive person. You see the positive
- 6:22Speaker 1: in things that happened to you, instead of burying yourself
- 6:25Speaker 1: under the hor's wrong with it, a old woe is me? Now?
- 6:28Speaker 1: Concept see a positive attitude. When they came in there
- 6:32Speaker 1: and they fired you and let you go, Could this
- 6:35Speaker 1: not have been just the opening you needed to finally
- 6:40Speaker 1: start on a new career path that you've been talking
- 6:43Speaker 1: about doing anyway? Could it possibly be a brand new
- 6:47Speaker 1: chance for you to get the dream job or dream
- 6:50Speaker 1: career of your choice. Could it not possibly be the
- 6:55Speaker 1: perfect opportunity now for you to finally finally do something
- 7:00Speaker 1: about that gift, about that talent that God gave you,
- 7:04Speaker 1: that thing that you love to do. Could it not
- 7:06Speaker 1: be the perfect time for you to pursue that? But
- 7:08Speaker 1: if you don't have a positive attitude, then you lay there. Oh,
- 7:13Speaker 1: they Finn' come getting my house. Oh what I'm gonna
- 7:16Speaker 1: do now? All this unemployment ain't enough. Oh Lord, when
- 7:20Speaker 1: this unemployment run out, what am I gonna do? Then
- 7:23Speaker 1: I won't have nothing? And you old woe is me
- 7:26Speaker 1: until you become old woe is me. But if you
- 7:30Speaker 1: take it from the positive approach, some amazing things can
- 7:34Speaker 1: happen in your life. I will tell you on a
- 7:36Speaker 1: personal note, that's some of the most some of the
- 7:40Speaker 1: best changes. Some of the biggest moments in my life
- 7:43Speaker 1: came after a loss. So I don't want to go
- 7:46Speaker 1: down on the list, but boy, I could tell you.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Let me let me tell you something. When they didn't
- 7:50Speaker 1: want me on the radio anymore in La, when they
- 7:53Speaker 1: didn't when they went it was sick of the way
- 7:55Speaker 1: I did radio out there, and they wanted me gone.
- 7:59Speaker 1: And on May twenty third, two thousand and five, when
- 8:04Speaker 1: my when when when my deal was done? With the
- 8:09Speaker 1: beat out in La? Okay, look what happened though, y'all
- 8:15Speaker 1: was gone in May. But in September nineteenth I started
- 8:18Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Radio Network with four cities. You see.
- 8:23Speaker 1: But I didn't go old woe is me? I said, Oh, okay,
- 8:27Speaker 1: God must have something else from it then, because if
- 8:30Speaker 1: he didn't remove me from this, that must be something else.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Same thing can happened when you lose and you and
- 8:36Speaker 1: you and you break up in a relationship. Same thing
- 8:38Speaker 1: can happen to you. You never know the one God
- 8:41Speaker 1: God for you. Now Here you go, Here you go again.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Now you get put into a situation with somebody, treat
- 8:46Speaker 1: you just the waere you want to be treated, provide
- 8:49Speaker 1: you the whole lot of aspects of your life you
- 8:51Speaker 1: knew nothing about prior to that. But you gotta stay positive.
- 8:54Speaker 1: If you stay positive, that positive attitude, that optimistic outlook,
- 9:00Speaker 1: that that always thinking God got me no matter what
- 9:04Speaker 1: happened to me, some amazing things that's going can will
- 9:07Speaker 1: happen in your life. It's a fact. I don't know
- 9:10Speaker 1: how it works that way. I just know that's what
- 9:12Speaker 1: it is. Positive attitude is everything, y'all. So get off
- 9:16Speaker 1: the old woe is mean negativity train because it ain't
- 9:19Speaker 1: gonna take you nowhere but down and get get your
- 9:21Speaker 1: outlook up. If you change your attitude, you change your altitude.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Altitude is determined by your attitude. How high you go,
- 9:30Speaker 1: how big you become, how far you go. It all
- 9:33Speaker 1: depends on how you think. It all depends on what
- 9:37Speaker 1: type of attitude you got. It ain't no, ain't no
- 9:40Speaker 1: very very successful, super negative people. It just doesn't coincide
- 9:45Speaker 1: that way. If you see that something happened to them
- 9:48Speaker 1: along the way, and don't weary. You ain't gonna wearr
- 9:50Speaker 1: about it because you ain't gonna see them long because
- 9:52Speaker 1: you can't stay up there like that. It's just too hard,
- 9:55Speaker 1: all right, that's the conversation. You're listening to morning show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Your undivided attention is necessary at this moment.
- 10:09Speaker 1: We have taken over your radio. There's no need to trip.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Here is the law. If you have sunglasses, wear them.
- 10:17Speaker 1: If you have reading glasses, put them on. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:21Speaker 1: This has been a public service announcement and a damn warning.

- 29:41Speaker 1: of the marriage. Cardi wants Offset to be ordered to
- 29:43Speaker 1: pay her legal expenses. Doesn't sound like there's a pre
- 29:46Speaker 1: nup or anything, because Cardie is asking for an equitable
- 29:50Speaker 1: division of all marital assets and she wants custody of
- 29:54Speaker 1: their daughter. Culture. Wow. Now, I know in the past

- 30:29Speaker 1: marriage is hard fitting this business, hire man, especially when
- 30:32Speaker 1: you both do the same thing. Man, there's no basis time.
- 30:35Speaker 1: It's tough, man, Yeah, it's tough. You know. People always

- 30:41Speaker 1: Ain't nobody else doing Yeah, you know that's not to
- 30:44Speaker 1: say everybody's cheating, but I'm saying they got mental things
- 30:48Speaker 1: like everybody else. It's a whole lot of issues. But
- 30:52Speaker 1: they just ain't famous, right right famous, And everything they
- 30:57Speaker 1: do is in front of the cameras. Everything. They have
- 31:00Speaker 1: no privacy. Look, you can't go nowhere, yeah without somebody
- 31:05Speaker 1: saying they know you. That's why it's so hard, you know,

- 32:02Speaker 1: zoom and on the phone. As Tiger Kings, Carol Baskin
- 32:06Speaker 1: made her dancing debut. Now the family of her of
- 32:11Speaker 1: her missing husband, Don Lewis, ran commercials with the family lawyer.
- 32:16Speaker 1: It was locally in Florida. They want to they want
- 32:19Speaker 1: still want to know what happened to their loved one.
- 32:22Speaker 1: They don't. They still don't know. He just disappeared and
- 32:24Speaker 1: has never ass out here dancing. Have you seen, man?
- 32:31Speaker 1: I know, in this country a person is innocent and
- 32:33Speaker 1: to proving guilty, except black people when they get pulled.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Don't other than that. In this country, you are innocent
- 32:40Speaker 1: and to a proving guilty. Yeah, she knows what happened
- 32:44Speaker 1: to that man though, And that's just for me watching
- 32:47Speaker 1: Tiger King that's all. I ain't got it based on
- 32:51Speaker 1: nothing except the damn show. Yea and her husband Don Lewis,
- 32:56Speaker 1: went missing back in nineteen ninety seven. Steve, and we
- 32:58Speaker 1: all know that Joe's alleged that Baskin did kill her husband.
- 33:02Speaker 1: She was never hurt about it and fed him to
- 33:05Speaker 1: the tigers. Yeah that's what Joe exciting said. Yeah, she
- 33:09Speaker 1: was never hurt about it and didn't go looking for him.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Not now. Time ain't put out, no reward, wasn't on
- 33:16Speaker 1: TV crime. Nothing really fade family badly. Yeah, all right, um,
- 33:24Speaker 1: we got to move on, Steve. Time for today's headlines,
- 33:28Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne True, thank you very much,
- 33:31Speaker 1: and good morning everybody. Here we go at last look,
- 33:33Speaker 1: Hurricane Sally had just hit. It came ashore in Alabama
- 33:37Speaker 1: this morning, about an hour ago, actually, also whipping the
- 33:40Speaker 1: coasts of Mississippi and northwest Florida with heavy rain and
- 33:44Speaker 1: gusty winds. Alabama Governor kiv says things look bad. Hurricane
- 33:49Speaker 1: Sally is not to be taken for granted. We're looking
- 33:53Speaker 1: at record flooding the halfs breaking historic levels, and with
- 33:58Speaker 1: rising warner comes a great risk for loss of property
- 34:02Speaker 1: and life. This is what we'll be watching. And of course,
- 34:04Speaker 1: you know just last month that whole region had to
- 34:07Speaker 1: deal with Hurricane Laura, and now is another one brewing
- 34:10Speaker 1: is called Hurricane Teddy. Hurricane Teddy's already a Category two
- 34:14Speaker 1: and have got about one hundred mile put hour winds,
- 34:16Speaker 1: and Teddy didn't come ashore yet, but it's whipping and
- 34:18Speaker 1: whipping around. It's been six months since three white Louisville
- 34:22Speaker 1: cops mistakenly staged in the early morning raid on twenty
- 34:25Speaker 1: six year old Brianna Taylor's apartment, shooting the young black
- 34:28Speaker 1: emergency medical technician to death. Yesterday, the Mayor of Louisville,
- 34:32Speaker 1: Greg Fisher, announced an historic settlement of her family's unlawful
- 34:36Speaker 1: death suit. The settlement includes a payment to Brianna's estate
- 34:40Speaker 1: of twelve million dollars. Brianna's killing has become a Black
- 34:43Speaker 1: Lives Matter caused celeb along with that of George Floyd
- 34:46Speaker 1: and Ahmad Aurbury. But while the payment is the largest
- 34:49Speaker 1: apparently in Louisville history, family attorney Benjamin Crump says it's
- 34:53Speaker 1: significant in another way. They have been so long get
- 34:58Speaker 1: into this day where we could assure that Brianna taylor
- 35:04Speaker 1: life wouldn't be swept under the rug like so many
- 35:07Speaker 1: other black women in America who had been killed by police.
- 35:13Speaker 1: The question of criminal charges against the cops involved in
- 35:15Speaker 1: her murder, however, is still unanswered. Grand jury's reportedly being
- 35:19Speaker 1: impaneled in the case. So far, only one of the
- 35:22Speaker 1: cops involved has been fired, the other two was still
- 35:25Speaker 1: suspended with pay, and the one who was given the
- 35:27Speaker 1: pink slip is suing to get his job back, So
- 35:30Speaker 1: stay tuned. President Trump preside over the signing of a
- 35:34Speaker 1: new agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates yesterday
- 35:37Speaker 1: and also the Jewish state in Bahrain. The agreements basically
- 35:41Speaker 1: renewed diplomatic relations among the parties. Actor Chadwick Boseman was
- 35:46Speaker 1: buried near his hometown of South Carolina, less than a
- 35:49Speaker 1: week after he died in Los Angeles. Authorities say that
- 35:52Speaker 1: the Black Panther star was laid to rest September third
- 35:55Speaker 1: at Welfare Baptist Church Cemetery in Belton, South Carolina. That's
- 35:58Speaker 1: just a few miles outside of his birth city of Anderson.
- 36:02Speaker 1: And Sabis conducted the first ever sale of items dedicated
- 36:05Speaker 1: to hip hop by the major Arkenhow auction house and
- 36:08Speaker 1: Board in a three three hundred million dollars. A lot
- 36:14Speaker 1: of stuff went up, this stuff owned by the notorious
- 36:16Speaker 1: Big Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're
- 36:19Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Mourning Show. Six months after
- 36:23Speaker 1: the tragic death of Brianna Taylor of the twenty six
- 36:26Speaker 1: year old EMT who was shot and killed by Louisville
- 36:29Speaker 1: police in her home, the city of Louisville has settled
- 36:33Speaker 1: an historic wrongful death lawsuit filed by her family. According
- 36:38Speaker 1: to Attorney Benjamin Crump, along with the twelve million dollars
- 36:42Speaker 1: civil settlement, a secured comprehensive police reform program for the
- 36:46Speaker 1: City of Louisville that will bring progress and reform out
- 36:50Speaker 1: of this tragedy to protect other black lives. However, Attorney
- 36:54Speaker 1: Crump also said he's not backing down from his demand
- 36:58Speaker 1: that the Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron file charges against
- 37:02Speaker 1: those cops shot and killed Brianna tayl cool I was
- 37:06Speaker 1: fit to say that. Don't sound like my man, No, no, no, no.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Justice is when you have to pay. See, you know
- 37:12Speaker 1: what justice is. Justice. The definition of justice is when
- 37:16Speaker 1: you get what you deserve. That's justice. Mercy. Mercy is
- 37:22Speaker 1: when you don't get what you deserve. Still fighting ye, yeah, man,
- 37:29Speaker 1: because someone has to pay for killing this woman. Yeah.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Her family said they're not stopping, they're not backing down.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Yeah whatever. See but see they just came with this settlement,
- 37:39Speaker 1: like take your money and go head on. Yeah yeah,
- 37:42Speaker 1: that's exactly what that problem is. Now I'm gonna take
- 37:44Speaker 1: some money, but we're gonna go and press the charge. Yeah. Yeah,
- 37:47Speaker 1: somebody still has to you know, pay for you know
- 37:51Speaker 1: what they did. This is horrible. This is how money
- 37:54Speaker 1: doesn't bring back. Yes, yeah, that's just it's not everything.
- 37:59Speaker 1: It just wants to up. We're still still fighting for
- 38:02Speaker 1: justice for her because she did and she didn't have
- 38:05Speaker 1: to be y'all killed period. Yeah you brought them line,
- 38:08Speaker 1: yeah y'all. Yeah. I mean that's progress in the right direction.
- 38:13Speaker 1: You know, takes some some of the financial burden off
- 38:16Speaker 1: the family. But um, they're still fighting, they still want justice. Um.
- 38:22Speaker 1: So there are forty eight days left, forty eight now
- 38:28Speaker 1: seven weeks, forty eight days left until the November third election.

- 39:14Speaker 1: You know, people lost their lives, so don't let their
- 39:17Speaker 1: deaths be in vain. I mean, you know, we could

- 39:42Speaker 1: Are you ready born? This one is from anonymous in
- 39:47Speaker 1: Pittsburgh CLO. It says, I'm a forty seven year old
- 39:50Speaker 1: woman and I've been married for twenty two years. My
- 39:53Speaker 1: husband is terrible in bed, so I had an affair
- 39:58Speaker 1: with my coworker. I was hooked on the great sex,
- 40:01Speaker 1: but he abruptly cut me off and stopped taking my calls.
- 40:04Speaker 1: So I popped up at his house one evening after
- 40:07Speaker 1: I had a few tequillo shots. Yes, yes, yes, he
- 40:11Speaker 1: was very rude to me, and here he threatened to
- 40:14Speaker 1: call my husband if I didn't leave. Fifteen minutes later,
- 40:19Speaker 1: my husband pulled up. I have lied my way out
- 40:22Speaker 1: of it with my husband by blaming it on the alcohol.
- 40:25Speaker 1: But I can't believe this guy snitched on me. Why
- 40:27Speaker 1: did he do it, Steve? Because you was in front
- 40:30Speaker 1: of his house to hear wrong with you? You was
- 40:35Speaker 1: in front of his house. He's gonna let you ruin
- 40:39Speaker 1: his life. Y'all had an a fair, a mutual, consensual relationship.
- 40:47Speaker 1: He had every right to stop seeing you if he
- 40:49Speaker 1: wanted too. You ain't his wife, you was his thing.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Now you're gonna go over there and do what you better?
- 41:01Speaker 1: You better come out here, Yeah right, yeah, that's right.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I'm out of here. Hey, if you don't call right
- 41:11Speaker 1: now and leave him from I'm gonna call your husband. WHOA.
- 41:15Speaker 1: So that's what he did. He called yours and yours
- 41:17Speaker 1: pulled you know, she blamed it on the alcohol, she said,
- 41:23Speaker 1: because you know, and you know why she lied, because
- 41:25Speaker 1: she got a good man at the house. She just
- 41:27Speaker 1: don't like the sex because now you already know you
- 41:31Speaker 1: ain't gonna get the man he was kicking it with.
- 41:33Speaker 1: And if you, if you don't convince this man, you
- 41:35Speaker 1: ain't gonna have no man. And little miss good sex,
- 41:41Speaker 1: little wop, just you know you're gonna be out with
- 41:44Speaker 1: your own ass. Hey, you mass around, You're gonna have
- 41:54Speaker 1: to come out with a son called Opes that stand
- 41:57Speaker 1: for that old ass. Okay, sorry, I asked Sonia, and
- 42:03Speaker 1: Baltimore says, I was with my son's father for three years,
- 42:06Speaker 1: and I worked to support us while he was in school.
- 42:09Speaker 1: As soon as he got his degree, his personality changed
- 42:12Speaker 1: and he started staying out all night. I found out
- 42:14Speaker 1: that he's been working at night at a restaurant across town,
- 42:17Speaker 1: and he's been looking at apartments close to his job.
- 42:20Speaker 1: His own cousin told me this. She said, she knows
- 42:23Speaker 1: I've been good to this man, so I needed to
- 42:25Speaker 1: know that he's planning to leave me. My son's father
- 42:28Speaker 1: said it's all a lie and his cousin is a hater.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I don't put anything past a man. But this is crazy.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Who should I believe? First of all, I wanted to

- 42:43Speaker 1: what you waiting to do? What you're gonna make him stay?
- 42:50Speaker 1: Because if he wants to leave, he gonna leave. I
- 42:54Speaker 1: think he's gonna get to the apartment he's moving in.
- 42:56Speaker 1: I think so because it's close to his job and everything. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 43:02Speaker 1: all right. So wow, don't let her man have to
- 43:07Speaker 1: tell you twice he don't, won't you If he does

- 43:12Speaker 1: she can't get that, Ain't no doubt about that. But
- 43:15Speaker 1: don't make a fool out of yourself trying to hang

- 43:21Speaker 1: to let it go exactly. Thanks. Yeah, all right? Tyler
- 43:25Speaker 1: and Chattanooga says, I've been dating a female for four
- 43:28Speaker 1: months and she has a male roommate, but she told
- 43:31Speaker 1: me he's gay. After a few weeks of dating her,
- 43:34Speaker 1: I saw a picture of her and the guy on
- 43:36Speaker 1: her Facebook page from a few years ago, and they
- 43:39Speaker 1: were hugged up and looked like a couple. I confronted
- 43:42Speaker 1: her and she started crying. She told me she used
- 43:45Speaker 1: to date the guy, but she can't move out of
- 43:47Speaker 1: the apartment until their lease is up. She swore nothing's
- 43:49Speaker 1: going on between them, So I told her I want
- 43:52Speaker 1: to meet him so I can feel the vibe between them.
- 43:54Speaker 1: She doesn't think it's a good idea. Why not, Well, well,
- 43:58Speaker 1: because he's gonna whoop your hey, that's what what happened. Yeah. Yeah,
- 44:03Speaker 1: because the dude she'd told you get he ain't get it. All.
- 44:06Speaker 1: You don't come over his house and feel the vibe,
- 44:08Speaker 1: you're gonna feel that assman. That's why I want to
- 44:17Speaker 1: meet him and his house. Thank you, Cielo. As always,
- 44:23Speaker 1: Junior's up for the nephew with today's prying phone call.

- 46:28Speaker 1: but we're right on point with this thing. You's got
- 46:31Speaker 1: a two thousand and one Navy blue you did buy it.
- 46:33Speaker 1: You did buy it at the car lot dealership and

- 46:50Speaker 1: sold you a stolen car. And I know you did
- 46:54Speaker 1: not know that. I know that it was not any

- 47:26Speaker 1: out and impound it or you No, no, I think
- 47:31Speaker 1: y'all might need to go back over y'all records, man,
- 47:33Speaker 1: because I think y'all on the real, I think y'all
- 47:36Speaker 1: got the wrong person, sir. For real, I'm gonna tell
- 47:40Speaker 1: you once and I'm gonna tell you again. You have
- 47:43Speaker 1: a car that's stolen that I have to have in
- 47:45Speaker 1: my possession by the end of the day. Now, by
- 47:48Speaker 1: the end of the day, for real, Man, you got sir,
- 47:51Speaker 1: you have a stolen car and you're gonna need to
- 47:54Speaker 1: bring that car into the police station so we can
- 47:56Speaker 1: get this thing rectify. I'm man, for real, man, hold on,
- 48:01Speaker 1: let me talk about this. Man. I don't know about
- 48:03Speaker 1: all this she's telling me. For real, Sir, I understand
- 48:06Speaker 1: what you're saying, But do you realize you're talking to
- 48:08Speaker 1: a police officer here. I am detective. I am detective Justin.
- 48:13Speaker 1: I am who you are, man, I'm salk. Hold it's
- 48:18Speaker 1: no longer, sir. We've had to actually shut them down
- 48:22Speaker 1: for the time being until we get quite a few
- 48:25Speaker 1: cars rectified that I've got more than just your vehicle, sir,
- 48:29Speaker 1: that's been that that has auto theft tied to it.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Hold On, that's two things. Either you're gonna bring it
- 48:37Speaker 1: to me or I'm gonna come get it now. Which
- 48:39Speaker 1: one do you want to do? You ain't coming to
- 48:41Speaker 1: get for real, sir. I don't want to have this
- 48:44Speaker 1: to have to get go to a level of where
- 48:45Speaker 1: it doesn't need to be. But I need to get
- 48:48Speaker 1: that card in my possession. Okay, look, look, look, listen
- 48:51Speaker 1: while I'm telling you. Okay, you're listening. I'm listening, sir. Okay, look,
- 48:55Speaker 1: list somebody gonna take me my three hundred fifty two
- 49:00Speaker 1: cents I've been paying for the last six months unless
- 49:03Speaker 1: you're gonna pay me that, give me back my trade
- 49:07Speaker 1: and said, get this now, I ain't out here you're
- 49:09Speaker 1: talking about for real? No, this is you're coming at
- 49:12Speaker 1: me with. Man, I went too hard to be keeping
- 49:15Speaker 1: up see notes like here, Man, I got that and
- 49:17Speaker 1: my rit to take care of, and you come to
- 49:19Speaker 1: talk about you saying take my car because something that
- 49:22Speaker 1: happened before I bought it, and what I don't even
- 49:25Speaker 1: know if this is true? Like I said, I thank you, missing.
- 49:28Speaker 1: I think you've got me mixed with somebody else. What
- 49:31Speaker 1: y'all just not coming at me talking this. I ain't
- 49:33Speaker 1: heard nothing about this before. Sure, it's taking us a
- 49:36Speaker 1: while to actually track down the car and actually find
- 49:38Speaker 1: out exactly where it was. I I've tracked this car
- 49:41Speaker 1: so for the last eight nine months, and I finally
- 49:44Speaker 1: found it. You are the one that's actually has it
- 49:46Speaker 1: in your possession. It happens all the time. It's an
- 49:48Speaker 1: unlikely situation, but I gotta get you to bring it in.
- 49:51Speaker 1: And I'm I ain't bringing you, hear me, I ain't brilliant.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Y'all not coming to get from me unless somebody give
- 49:59Speaker 1: me my three hund at seventy seven dollars fifty two cents.
- 50:02Speaker 1: I've been saying for the last six months plus in
- 50:04Speaker 1: my back. Sure, I'm sure you're probably long gone by now.
- 50:08Speaker 1: It's probably I'm stoping. Okay, then then y'all can need
- 50:13Speaker 1: to at least just come with the money. Come with
- 50:14Speaker 1: the money. I just don't get in another roster somewhere them, sir.
- 50:17Speaker 1: I'm not I can't sit here negotiate with you. I'm
- 50:20Speaker 1: just a detective that's on this actual case, and I
- 50:23Speaker 1: know it's a trying situation, but I am going to
- 50:25Speaker 1: have to send some officers out there that that do
- 50:29Speaker 1: this type of thing. They pick up these cars and
- 50:31Speaker 1: bring them into the I wish you would send somebody
- 50:34Speaker 1: out here to get my car. And if you can't
- 50:36Speaker 1: go here with me, you need to find somebody can.
- 50:39Speaker 1: And no, you know, you bring somebody out here if
- 50:43Speaker 1: you want to, don't bring somebody. I got the hell.
- 50:46Speaker 1: I've been working too, Oh man, I'm working a great ship.
- 50:50Speaker 1: I'm putting all the time. They got to stay late
- 50:52Speaker 1: so that man, I'm I'm working through and try to
- 50:55Speaker 1: get this car. Man, it's gonna bring God here if
- 50:57Speaker 1: you want to for real, sure, sir, sir, calm, I
- 51:02Speaker 1: gotta get your calm down. I mean, you're getting a
- 51:04Speaker 1: little out of my car stolen, and y'all talk about
- 51:07Speaker 1: tending to get it from me. I know this is
- 51:11Speaker 1: a surprise, and I understand that, and you gotta great.
- 51:13Speaker 1: You got an honest living, an honest job, and I
- 51:15Speaker 1: understand that. But some people have done some dishonest things.
- 51:17Speaker 1: And that's what's happened here. Somebody does my problem right there,
- 51:23Speaker 1: that ain't problem. There was a dead when I first
- 51:26Speaker 1: got it, so right from a problem. Now, I'm not
- 51:28Speaker 1: understanding that. All I'm saying is is your cub with
- 51:31Speaker 1: my car. I'm gonna y'all, look, that's all I'm saying,
- 51:35Speaker 1: you know what, I don't want to go any further.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Can I say one more thing to you? Can I
- 51:38Speaker 1: do that? What this is? Nephew taught me from the
- 51:42Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked my young cousin, Eric.
- 51:48Speaker 1: Who did you to say? This was? This is nephew

- 52:12Speaker 1: that Steve Hardvery Morning Show? Ignorant shout told you bring

- 52:34Speaker 1: coming up. Man, I'm working hard doing you ain't coming.
- 52:37Speaker 1: I ain't bringing in or I ain't bringing in or

- 54:12Speaker 1: your letter live on the air, just like we're gonna

- 54:18Speaker 1: and gentlemen, it's time for the Strawberry Letter with my
- 54:20Speaker 1: Defference Shirley Strawberry. Thank you, junior. Subject what did you
- 54:25Speaker 1: just say to me? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a forty
- 54:29Speaker 1: three year old man, and I'm a manager at my job.
- 54:32Speaker 1: I have a new regional director that will be working
- 54:34Speaker 1: in our office. We are both black men, but he's
- 54:37Speaker 1: older than I am and he has a PhD that
- 54:40Speaker 1: he brags on often. When he first got there, it
- 54:43Speaker 1: was hard to warm up to him because he's so
- 54:45Speaker 1: entitled and thinks he's better than all of us in
- 54:47Speaker 1: the office. Then things started getting tense when he began
- 54:51Speaker 1: to critique the employees on my team. I let it slide.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Then he critiqued me. He told me that he didn't
- 54:57Speaker 1: realize I had such a strong East Coast accent and
- 55:00Speaker 1: I sound rude when I'm speaking to customers. He said,
- 55:03Speaker 1: I need to soften my accent and work on my
- 55:05Speaker 1: public speaking. He also said he reviewed written documents that
- 55:09Speaker 1: I had prepared in the past for customers and they
- 55:12Speaker 1: contained a lot of grammatical errors. The other day, I
- 55:15Speaker 1: walked into the office with a blue bandanna over my
- 55:17Speaker 1: face instead of a mask. He stepped to me and said,
- 55:20Speaker 1: I need to pick a neutral color mask so I
- 55:23Speaker 1: won't look like I'm in a game. He then told
- 55:26Speaker 1: me that I dressed to ethnic and it'd send an
- 55:29Speaker 1: example of my age and my social status. He suggested
- 55:32Speaker 1: I wear flat front slacks and invest in Taylor dress
- 55:35Speaker 1: shirts tucked in with hard bottom shoes. This guy is
- 55:39Speaker 1: not my boss, but he does have seniority over me.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I don't care who he is. I'm not going to
- 55:45Speaker 1: let him talk to me crazy. I told him he
- 55:47Speaker 1: was out of line, and he claimed he's trying to
- 55:49Speaker 1: coach me on how to assimilate into all cultures. I
- 55:53Speaker 1: want to curse this guy out so bad, but I
- 55:56Speaker 1: need this job and I love what I do. I
- 55:59Speaker 1: have a master degree and I have been at this
- 56:01Speaker 1: company a lot longer than him. How can I get
- 56:04Speaker 1: him to stop talking to meet crazy? Well? Is he
- 56:08Speaker 1: talking to you crazy? I mean, is he really or
- 56:11Speaker 1: is he talking to you like the regional director, an
- 56:14Speaker 1: older black man with more education and life experience and seniority.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Like you said, he has more seniority than you. I
- 56:22Speaker 1: don't know the tone of what he's saying to you,
- 56:25Speaker 1: but it sounds like he's trying to help you be
- 56:27Speaker 1: a better employee, a better person. That's what it sounds like.
- 56:30Speaker 1: I mean, he's old school with it. I think that's obvious.
- 56:33Speaker 1: But like I said, I don't know about his delivery
- 56:35Speaker 1: to you and the rest of the gang there, the guys,
- 56:38Speaker 1: your employees. I don't want to use the word gang
- 56:40Speaker 1: because he already said you're blue bandana, looks like you
- 56:42Speaker 1: might be in a gang. But I think you know,
- 56:46Speaker 1: you have to put your pride aside in this instance
- 56:48Speaker 1: and take in, you know, try to try to put
- 56:52Speaker 1: that aside and actually take in and listen to what
- 56:54Speaker 1: he's trying to tell you. You know, his delivery again
- 56:58Speaker 1: may be off. He could be all the way wrong,
- 57:02Speaker 1: but it doesn't sound like it. It sounds like he
- 57:05Speaker 1: has more experience and he has seniority over you. Although
- 57:08Speaker 1: you say he isn't your boss, Okay, Well he's still
- 57:12Speaker 1: an older gentleman. So maybe he just sees something in
- 57:15Speaker 1: you and he wants to help you, because it sounds
- 57:17Speaker 1: like that's what he is. I mean, even when you
- 57:19Speaker 1: when you said something to him about it, he says
- 57:21Speaker 1: he's trying to coach you. So you didn't ask for it.
- 57:24Speaker 1: It's unsolicited. We get that. But he's older and he
- 57:27Speaker 1: just sees something and he's trying to help you. If
- 57:30Speaker 1: you don't want it, that's one thing. But I think
- 57:32Speaker 1: you should maybe take a moment to listen to what
- 57:35Speaker 1: he's saying and lose the resentment. You may learn something
- 57:38Speaker 1: you know he has something to teach you. May you
- 57:41Speaker 1: may learn something, Steve. I disagree with this letter one hundred.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Let me proceed because I want to get into as
- 57:48Speaker 1: much as this as I can. I'm gonna tell first
- 57:51Speaker 1: of all, let's start with how can I get him
- 57:53Speaker 1: stop talking to me crazy? You gotta pull his hand
- 57:56Speaker 1: to the side out all hey, man, can we go
- 58:02Speaker 1: have a drink? You need to get him out the office,
- 58:05Speaker 1: not cross the street. Y'all need to have to drive somewhere. Now,
- 58:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna read the letter. I'm gonna tell you how
- 58:12Speaker 1: to dress every point right after y'all drink. I want
- 58:16Speaker 1: you to talk to him in a nice tone, firm,
- 58:19Speaker 1: but you ain't got to Yale. And this is how
- 58:22Speaker 1: you do it. I'm a forty three year old man,
- 58:25Speaker 1: I'm a manager down at this job. Though. Now you're
- 58:29Speaker 1: the new regional director and you're working here. Now both
- 58:32Speaker 1: of us is black. Now now I know you're old,
- 58:35Speaker 1: and I'm trying to be respectful, and I know you
- 58:38Speaker 1: got a pH D. Now in the hood. pH is
- 58:43Speaker 1: an F sound so and while I'm talking to you,
- 58:49Speaker 1: we're gonna pH d this here. We're gonna f that
- 58:52Speaker 1: you know while we talk it. You know, you know
- 58:56Speaker 1: we go, we're gonna that while we talk it. You
- 59:00Speaker 1: know you're always bragging about your little punk and pH D.
- 59:02Speaker 1: There ain't got nothing to do with me, now, bro,
- 59:04Speaker 1: stay stay calm, just like I'm talking to you, just
- 59:07Speaker 1: how I'm I'm reading the letter about. I want you
- 59:09Speaker 1: to address every point. Now. You know when you first
- 59:12Speaker 1: got here, man, you know, it was a little hard
- 59:14Speaker 1: to warm up to you because you know, you kind
- 59:16Speaker 1: of come up in here man like you entitled. You
- 59:18Speaker 1: think you better than everybody. You know, now you did
- 59:22Speaker 1: not know the reason stuff. It's tense open here, see, dog,
- 59:25Speaker 1: it's because you just start critiquing employees on my team.
- 59:29Speaker 1: You know we're doing fine, man, you know, look like
- 59:32Speaker 1: till you came up in here. Well, I let it
- 59:34Speaker 1: slide and everything. Then now all of a sudden, you
- 59:37Speaker 1: critiquing me. What's that about? Black? You know you have
- 59:40Speaker 1: told me you didn't realize I had such a strong
- 59:43Speaker 1: East Coast accent, And I signed rude when I'm speaking
- 59:46Speaker 1: to customer how I signed Now while I'm talking to you, though,
- 59:51Speaker 1: huh humph, I'm right here, dog, this sound rude to you.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Then you come talking about I need to soften my
- 59:58Speaker 1: accent and work on my published people we need in public.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Now we over hit this ball. You see all these
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: shot glasses sitting around us, say something, Steve. No, No,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: this conversation he never had with his old as. Now

- 1:00:55Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter subject, what did you just say
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: to me? Say? I talked to this brother man he
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: for the three years old, and told him how to
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: address this hill, everything that's going on with this boy,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: you know, And he didn't got this older dude, probably
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: sound like he in his sixties. You know, he got
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: a little PhD and everything now here and talking to
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: people crazy. So I've been just trying to tell him
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: in a way to address him. You got to get
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: him outside of the workplace. Y'all got to go. Hear
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: drinks and you gotta talk to him coming. And I
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: told him, you know, I ain't with that PhD. You know,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: PHS or F sign. So you know what I'm saying,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: like to you and your PhD. I'm just saying I
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: that the D is for that, you know, PhD, f

- 1:01:55Speaker 1: be down here hanging like some little country as bunkering
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: like you and the restity. But I ain't do all
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: that on front of each coach. This is how we talk.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: You're like this hill. Now look a here then you're
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: gonna review some of my ridden documents. You're talking about
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: how prepared for customers. They contain a lot of grammatical
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: as in it. What they gotta do with it? Yeah?
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: What is gramafucker airs got to do with it? What
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: a flocker? What demafra crafford. Don't be all up in

- 1:02:35Speaker 1: and told you the phs f side that. You know.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Then the other day, dog, I could walk him to
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: the office with this blue band down over my face
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: instead of a man. You know, I'm trying to, you know,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: have a little swag and everything. You don't talk about me.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I need to pick a neutral color so I don't
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: look like I'm in no game. I'm in a game.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I gotta degree. What game banger? You know? Got a man? Man?
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: You racial profile and your own people, because okay, you know,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I need to pick a neutral color so don't look
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: like I'm in the game. And then I told me
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: I dressed to ethnic? What is that? What is ethnic? Like?
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: I dressed that way? Don't nobody dressed ethnic round here? Ethnic?

- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the matchup is different with Denver. I don't think they
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: match up real well with the Lakers. No, no, no,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I don't think they match up real well with the Lakers.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: See you know that big seven footboy to shoot them

- 1:09:51Speaker 1: the whole This is what what is this again? Shocker?
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: That's funny, Thank you, Junior. Coming up at the top
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: of the hour, La Sheriff via Nueva is getting slammed
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: for challenging Lebron James to match our reward. We'll talk
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: about this right after this. You're listening to the show.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: So during a recent radio interview, Steve La Sheriff Villaneueva
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: challenged Lebron James to double the hundred and seventy five
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: thousand dollars reward for the information leading to the arrest
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: of a person who ambushed two deputies. This happened on Saturday,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: September twelfth. Two La County deputies were shot multiple times
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: by an unknown gunman near the MLK Transit Center in Compton.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: The sheriff has received backlash on social media for challenging
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Lebron James. Even Kobe Bryant's widow, Vanessa Bryant, posted screenshot
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: of a social media user saying, how can he talk
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: about trusting the system? His sheriff's department couldn't be trusted
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: to secure Kobe Bryant's helicopter crash scene. Oh wow, His
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: deputies took and shared graphic photos of crash victims and
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: deceased children. Okay, all right, okay. Sheriff Villaneueva also said
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: to Lebron, I want you to match this reward because
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I know you care about law enforcement. You expressed in
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: a very interesting statement about your perspective on race relations
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: in an officer involved African American shooting, and I appreciate that. Well,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: hold out, It's not Lebron James's job to solve crimes.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: It's the police, Sheriff's Department, FBI, that's whose job that is. Now,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: if you want to double the reward, let the city
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: double the reward because the person who ambushed these officers
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: needs to be put in prison. That needs to happen.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I mean, look, man, what we're what we're protesting is
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: against police brutality. We are not advocating violence towards police.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: That's not what we're saying. We're not that people. Nobody
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: us two people sitting in their car and hear this
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: butthole come up criminal and just shoot them like that,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: trying to kill these people. Man, nobody wants that. That
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: is not what this movement about. This is not what
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: the protest is about. And that's not how we want
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: to get back. It's no getting even. We don't want
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: to be able to perpetrate brutality against police officers. We
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: need police officers. Ain't nobody trying to defund the police
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: or none of that. That's garbage talk. Y'all quit petting
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: and that we need to get this guy behind bars.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: But and y'all gonna get him because y'all not gonna rest.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: But putting Lebron on the spot that ain't know what
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Bron gotta do with is Yeah, keep planning a series
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: right now, Hey, sheriff, you do your damn jab exactly right, Bubble.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: That's why Vanessa Brian had to speak out. She's outraged. Brother,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: you double the one seventy five right, ain't three fifty?
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: Y'all got? It's so horrible. I mean, I don't know
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: you building football stadium? Right? Just let you know their mentality,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: you know it, Just lets you know their mentality, Like
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: it's wrong for Lebron to be for black Lives matter
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: and speak out against police brutality and all of that.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: That's basically what he's saying. That's exactly what ye sir,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: and almost are you trying to get people to turn
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: on Lebron? Like what's your purpose of saying that? Stupid?
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: At what does Lebron James have to do with this?
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Lebron James is not law enforcement? Right, that's your job, sir.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: That's right. Damn do yo, damn job you to reward
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: double go to the city and doublet y'all got this
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: city got more money than Lebron James. Yeah, well not
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: not not a lot of it's clod thank you Lebron yea. Yeah,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: but that was real stupid for him to say that
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: just real insensitive Lebron. Lebron spending a lot of money
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: opening up schools, trying to improve people's lives. Lebron James
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: got a lot of philanthropic money out there, man, that's
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: what he's doing. He's doing above and beyond his share.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Y'all just be law enforcement, enforced the law, and I
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: know you will. Y'all not gonna but make sure you're
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: pinning on who did it though. Let's just not get
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: somebody in there. Let's just pin it on who did it.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: That's right, all right, Steve, coming up, we'll have more
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: of today's trending stories on the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: and we'll be back at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show today as women
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Crush Wednesday and today we're crushing on our sister, ESPN's
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Maria Taylor. Maria fired back at Chicago radio host Dan McNeil,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: who said she was dressed to host Adult Film Awards
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: instead of Monday Night Football. Oh really, Maria clapped back
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: on Twitter, Well, Danny dearest, if you would like to
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: continue making sexist comments about me, please bring your misogyny
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: with the to the NBA Countdown double Header. I'll be
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: hosting tomorrow night. Hey, ladies, remember you can wear whatever
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: you feel confident in. Okay, Maria, she's a beautiful sister. Yeah,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: black girl Magic. Yeah, he is beautiful. How dare you
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: she's dressed like she's going to host the American the
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Adult Film Awards. Oh really, the nerve you Dan Dan McNeill, Yeah,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: he has a great, great question. We don't know who
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: the hell he is, but we know Maria Taylor though. Absolutely.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Isn't she beautiful? Yeah? She is, and know her and
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: knows her business. That's it. She knows and she went
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: to work. I saw this on her Instagram post last night.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: They gave her flowers. People at her staff some flowers. Yes, yeah,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Jayla Rose gave her bouquet flowers, told him graduations. Hosting
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: your first Monday night football game. That was great. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: we take care of ours, that's it. Yeah. Always some
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: dude that ain't no damn body. Yeah, I mean ain't
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: no damn body. Yeah, well, whoever he is, he just
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: got fired Boom for his horrible tweet. And we'll be
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: back at thirty three after the hour. You just lost
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: your job. Get this dance Danny Dear You're listening show
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: and Today's in her time at news Cardi B. Wow,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Cardi B has filed for divorce from Offset. She filed
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: the court document documents. Yeah, this is really big, big,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: big news. She filed the documents in Fulton County and Georgia,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: indicating she's seeking dissolution of the marriage. Cardie wants Offset
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: to be ordered to pay her legal expenses. It doesn't
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: sound like there's a pre nup or anything, because Cardie
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: is asking for an equitable division of all marital assets
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: and she wants custody of their daughter. Culture. Wow. Now,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: I know in the past they've had issues with cheating
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: and stuff on offsets part I remember Carti sand off offsets,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: She told me one more time. But wow, they haven't
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: you know, disclosed a reason or anything. But they were
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: secretly married back in twenty seventeen, so wow, three years
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: another man. Yeah, I just I was rooting for them too. Yeah,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: I really was. I really really was. I like, you know,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: they're still cool people. It's just, you know, marriage is
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: hard for in this business here, man, especially when you
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: both do the same thing. Man, there's no basis. Sometimes
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: it's tough, man, Yea. It's tough. You know, people always
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: want to be judgmental. But Cardi being off said, ain't
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: doing nothing. Ain't nobody else doing Yeah, you know that's
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: not to say everybody's cheating, but I'm saying they got
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: mantal things like everybody else. It's a whole lot of
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: marriage with this issue. But they just ain't famous, right right,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: And everything they do is in front of the cameras.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Everything they have no privacy. Look, you can't go nowhere,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: yeah without somebody saying they know you. That's why it's
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: so hard. You know, if cheating is what you're gonna do, brother,
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: it ain't. I'm telling you man, there's a camera everywhere, Yes,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: everywhere everywhere. So we you know, we hope they can
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: come to some kind of I don't know, but sometimes
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: when people file, they go back, you know. Sometimes. Yeah,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: we can only hope for the best and be the
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: best parents. But the baby, yeah yeah yeah, different type
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: of whop here and other entertainment news as we move
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: on Junior and the other. Uh. The other night, we
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: were all on the phone, we were all on zoom
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: and on the phone as Tiger Kings. Carol Baskin made
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: her dancing debut. Now the family of her of her
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: missing husband, Don Lewis, ran commercials with the family lawyer.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: It was locally in Florida. They still want to know
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: what happened to their loved one. They don't. They still
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: don't know. He just disappeared and has never have you seen?
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Coming up our last break of the day, last break
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: of the day, and we'll have some closing remarks from
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're

- 1:20:34Speaker 1: you can early vote in your state. Go to vote
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: dot org. Seven weeks left, getting down to the wire. Now,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I am too. If you want black lives to really matter,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: you have to vote. The way to get them to
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: really really respect us is to show them that we
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: have the power to elect officials that care about the
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: country as a whole. We have the power to determine
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: who is in office and who isn't. See. Let me
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: let me give you my take on this whole thing.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I believe that there are a lot of Republicans in
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: office in the Senate, in the House, in Congress that
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: completely disagree with Donald Trump. I really believe it is
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: because every nine and then they raise their head and
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: they say something. Now they go back in the hole
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: because they're scared of him. But every nine then they
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: raise their head and say something. But I think, man,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: there are a lot of Republicans who are sick of
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Donald Trump, but they're gonna ride with him. And you
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: know why, they're gonna ride with him because he holds
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: their position, their power, and their money under his thumb.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Because if you don't go along with him as a governor,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: if you don't go along with him as a senator,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: he takes it out on you. Man. He starts tweeting
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: about you, he puts you in his speech, he goes
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: after you. And nobody wants to lose their position, their power,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: and their money, so they're going along with it. I
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: refuse to believe that they are all okay with the
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: way he is conducting the business of America and the
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: way he's treating the office. Now, with that said, are
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: there plenty of people who's perfectly fine with it? Absolutely? Absolutely,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: But we have a chance to send a message, a
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: clear message to all love them. Who is okay with
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: diversity for all of them? Who thinks that there's good
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: people on both sides. How can you be in a
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: hate group and be a good person. Help me with that, man,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: there's no such thing. Man, that's a statement that doesn't
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: You've gotta be brainless to make that statement or racist
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: to make that statement. Pick either one. But we've got
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: to send a message to these people that no, man,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: enough is enough. Black lives really do matter. Latino lives matter, man,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Native American lives matter. People who join in with the
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Black Lives movement protests of all colors, their lives matter. See,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: that's the real nugget behind Black lives matter. It's not
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: saying that our lives matter more than anybody else's. Just
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: can our lives matter just like yours? That's all are
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: we saying. But if you want black lives to matter,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: you have to vote. Steve Harvey is telling you loud
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: and clear, if you want your black life to matter.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: You have to vote. You can send a message to
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: the White House this November. We have had enough of you.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: We have had enough of this divisiveness. We don't care
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: how many, all twenty five of them little black people
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: you didn't found to run over here and hold up
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: the flag for you who are ignoring you can get
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: all the little that little pocket of Latinos for Trump together.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: I don't understand that Latinos for Trump, Blacks for Trump.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: What has he done for black people? All Latinos? He
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: building the wall and he destroying doctor Oh you just
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: talking about the ones that's here that we're born here,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: who feel like if they stay on that side, that
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: they're better than the rest of them. Oh you talking
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: about the few blacks that are not affected by his
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: policies in this country that have decided that he is
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: good for America. Oh and screw the rest of them. No, man, See,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: let me tell you something about celebrities and and and
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: athletes and stuff like that who have been doing well
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: for a while, myself included. We have enough to survive
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: for a little while. The common man don't see. So
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: whoever in office, we're gonna take our people and we're
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: gonna find a way to make it work. We got
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: staff members, we qualify people. We're gonna find a way
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: to make it work where the average person is affected
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: deeply by policy. That's why when the Republicans wanted to
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: come up with this second stimulus package, they wanted to
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: go from six hundred dollars a week to two hundred
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: dollars a week. Then Democrats got to fighting them and
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: they got up to four. But they wanted to go
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: back to the six. But the Republicans Senate didn't want that.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: Donald Trump didn't want that. Enough is enough. Republicans don't
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: care about helping the underprivilege. Pour yourself up by the bootstraps.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: COVID took the boots. COVID took their relatives lives too.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: Now the Democrats are hanging their hat on preaching this
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: COVID thing, and that's good. But I hope Joe Biden
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: has enough sense to fight the way they're fighting. Make
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: him tell the truth when y'are debating. Don't wait on
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: the fact checkers to come up after the show, because
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: they don't listen to that check him. Every time he
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: lied in the debate, you're lying, say it. We gotta
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: change this. We got to vote. Go to vote dot org.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: Go to vote dot org. Early voting starts in October.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: We're gonna keep you formed. We got to vote. Enough
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: is enough. That's nice, you said it. We've foughten for
