Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / GOP SELLS OUT ON 2A with deal to take away our rights. Bill O'Reilly joins me to discuss!
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: So last week I warned you that there was going
- 0:02Speaker 1: to be a gun control deal that was going to
- 0:04Speaker 1: be done, and the votes were probably there in the Senate,
- 0:08Speaker 1: and I said, we have to get involved and make
- 0:11Speaker 1: sure we call our senators and our congressmen, otherwise they're
- 0:15Speaker 1: going to do a deal, a deal that will take
- 0:17Speaker 1: away your Second Amendment rights while not having any impact
- 0:21Speaker 1: on the mass shootings that we've had in this country. Now,
- 0:23Speaker 1: if you missed our podcast on the if this law
- 0:27Speaker 1: would have been passed, I did a whole deep dive
- 0:31Speaker 1: into everything that the Senate and the House wanted this
- 0:34Speaker 1: new gun control bill, and I said, if we applied
- 0:37Speaker 1: this law as if it were already law of the land,
- 0:41Speaker 1: it would have had no bearing on the shooting that happened,
- 0:45Speaker 1: the horrific school shooting that we just had in New Valley, Texas.
- 0:49Speaker 1: In fact, I went back through the mass shootings in
- 0:52Speaker 1: this country and looked at how many of the laws
- 0:56Speaker 1: that they're passing that are now going to become law
- 1:00Speaker 1: that would have had no bearing on any of these
- 1:02Speaker 1: mass shootings. It doesn't matter, because it's not about protecting kids' lives.
- 1:08Speaker 1: It's about taking away your ability to protecting, defend yourself.
- 1:12Speaker 1: If you want to hear all of the shootings in
- 1:14Speaker 1: this country, because I'm not going to do it again,
- 1:17Speaker 1: go back in our podcast down with the Ben Ferguson
- 1:19Speaker 1: podcast and you can listen to that episode from last
- 1:22Speaker 1: week where I dive into each major thing in this
- 1:25Speaker 1: bill and how it would have had no bearing, and
- 1:27Speaker 1: I go through every mass shooting in this country that
- 1:29Speaker 1: we've had, the major ones that we've had, and basically,
- 1:32Speaker 1: this is a false narrative that somehow we pass this
- 1:34Speaker 1: bill in the House and the Senate which will take
- 1:36Speaker 1: away your segment, right, So it's gonna make you safer
- 1:39Speaker 1: or stop school shootings. It's not gonna happen, all right.
- 1:43Speaker 1: But first let me tell you real quick about my
- 1:45Speaker 1: good friends ever at Legacy Precious Metals. You've seen what's
- 1:47Speaker 1: going on the economy and the stock market and inflation.
- 1:51Speaker 1: It's just ridiculous. Now, what's going on? So the question
- 1:54Speaker 1: is are you diversified? Are you prepared to weather this storm? Well,
- 2:00Speaker 1: do you have any investments in gold and silver precious metals?
- 2:04Speaker 1: Did you know that gold and silver is actually used
- 2:07Speaker 1: as a hedge against inflation. It is to diversify you
- 2:11Speaker 1: so that when they're all terrible days and now weeks
- 2:15Speaker 1: and months on Wall Street, that your assets are diversified
- 2:19Speaker 1: so that they are not affected in such a negative way.
- 2:22Speaker 1: If you are not invest in gold and silver, now
- 2:26Speaker 1: is the time to look at Legacy Precious Metals. Call
- 2:28Speaker 1: them and they will send you a free investor's guide
- 2:32Speaker 1: so that you can see what you can do with
- 2:34Speaker 1: your retirement. You're four one K your IRA with gold
- 2:37Speaker 1: and silver. They're the company that I use and I
- 2:40Speaker 1: trust one age six six seven five one twenty two
- 2:45Speaker 1: eighteen one age six six seven five one twenty two
- 2:51Speaker 1: eighteen or online at Legacy PM investments dot com. Now
- 2:56Speaker 1: here's what I know. The Senate has struck a deal
- 2:58Speaker 1: on gun control a freeman, and not only has he
- 3:02Speaker 1: Sentate struck this deal, but they've also now done something
- 3:05Speaker 1: that is going to be very damning to this society
- 3:08Speaker 1: when it comes to your secondiment rights individually. What do
- 3:12Speaker 1: I mean? This new Senate bill incentivizes states to adopt
- 3:18Speaker 1: red flag laws. Now I'm going to give you the
- 3:21Speaker 1: list of the GOP senators who caved on this in
- 3:24Speaker 1: a moment. But before I get to this, the part
- 3:27Speaker 1: that is most concerning to me is the fact that
- 3:29Speaker 1: this was bipartisan, and that's how it's going to be
- 3:32Speaker 1: sold the American people, that this was a bipartisan deal. Now,
- 3:36Speaker 1: in a moment, I'm going to be joined by Bill O'Reilly.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I wanted to have Bill on the show because he
- 3:41Speaker 1: has a new book out, Killing the Killers, which is
- 3:45Speaker 1: about Americans who have gone around the world to kill
- 3:48Speaker 1: the worst people in the world, many of them, by
- 3:51Speaker 1: the way, under the age of twenty one, when we
- 3:53Speaker 1: gave them a gun to do this. And this bipartisan
- 3:55Speaker 1: gun deal that's been announced will actually raise the age
- 4:00Speaker 1: you can buy a long rifle. I'll explain that to
- 4:02Speaker 1: you in a moment. But Bill o'riley's going to join us,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and I want you to hear what he has to
- 4:05Speaker 1: say about this. Now, this bill, which the media has
- 4:09Speaker 1: just said, is amazing. It's a bipartisan bill, right, that's
- 4:12Speaker 1: what they wanted to say. They needed it to be
- 4:13Speaker 1: bipartisan to get it to work, which is why you
- 4:16Speaker 1: need to know which Republicans sold out your Second Amendment rights.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Now the Democrats are saying, well, this is a good bill,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and you guys on the right should be happy because
- 4:24Speaker 1: it's quote a no assault weapons ban, right, that's what
- 4:27Speaker 1: they claim. They say, well, let's talk about the age
- 4:30Speaker 1: requirement and we'll deal with that in a moment. But
- 4:32Speaker 1: this bipartisan group of senators announced this deal and they're
- 4:35Speaker 1: still fighting, as I've been told right now, on one thing,
- 4:38Speaker 1: and that is the age to buy a weapon. This
- 4:41Speaker 1: bipartisan group of senators announced this deal on gun control
- 4:44Speaker 1: legislation Sunday, and wake of the recent mass shootings, they
- 4:48Speaker 1: say that they're still compromises that need to take place.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And this compromise actually excluded President Joe Biden's assault weapons
- 4:56Speaker 1: ban and a raised minimum age for full purchases. But
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm being told tonight that the President may threaten to
- 5:05Speaker 1: veto the bill if the age limit is not put
- 5:08Speaker 1: back in there. A lot of this is going to
- 5:11Speaker 1: be a grand debate over age, and we'll deal with
- 5:14Speaker 1: that in a moment. Now, this deal includes Republican priorities
- 5:19Speaker 1: quote unquote, such as expanding mental health services. I am
- 5:22Speaker 1: in favor of that, as well as school's safety. Now,
- 5:25Speaker 1: it's sad that you have to use schools safety as
- 5:27Speaker 1: a bargaining chip with the Democrats to get a deal done.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It shouldn't have been. No one should have to use,
- 5:33Speaker 1: or should be forced to use schools safety as a
- 5:36Speaker 1: bargaining chip, which also tells you that the Democrats do
- 5:39Speaker 1: not care about the safety of your children, because if
- 5:42Speaker 1: they did, you wouldn't have to bargain in a bipartisan
- 5:45Speaker 1: deal like, Look, you give us schools safety and then
- 5:48Speaker 1: we'll give you what you want. This is how evil
- 5:53Speaker 1: the Democratic Party is right now. They are They said,
- 5:57Speaker 1: you've got to give us something to get school safety
- 5:59Speaker 1: for your kids. If there's anything that you learn from
- 6:03Speaker 1: me today, it is that that the Democrats priorities where
- 6:06Speaker 1: all right, we are going to hold a gun to
- 6:08Speaker 1: your head. No pun intended on school safety. So you've
- 6:12Speaker 1: got to give us something and then we'll help. Then
- 6:14Speaker 1: we'll allow you to protect the children at the schools.
- 6:20Speaker 1: This is not about your safety, folks. This is about
- 6:23Speaker 1: they're controlling you. This bill also nods to Democrat priorities
- 6:28Speaker 1: by adding expanded background checks for those under the age
- 6:31Speaker 1: of twenty one, who will now have juvenile record screen
- 6:36Speaker 1: before gun purchases. So you will lose your right to
- 6:39Speaker 1: have a gun if you've been in trouble in the
- 6:42Speaker 1: juvenile system. They said. A press release from the bipartisan
- 6:47Speaker 1: group outlines the contours the proposed legislation, and this is
- 6:51Speaker 1: what they said. This bipartisan group of senators has been
- 6:54Speaker 1: an announcing this agreement. I want you to know who's
- 6:57Speaker 1: on there. Mainly it's the Republicans to know about. Republican
- 7:01Speaker 1: from Texas, John Cornyn was a part of this bipartisan deal.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Senator till Us, Republican North Carolina part of this deal.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Republican Roy Blunt Missouri part of this deal. He was
- 7:15Speaker 1: working with Corey Booker and Chris Murphy. Hardcore liberals. Lindsey
- 7:18Speaker 1: Graham Republican South Carolina part of this deal. Are these
- 7:23Speaker 1: are the Republicans that sold out your Second Amendment rights.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Rob Portman, Republican Ohio, Mitt Romney part of this deal
- 7:32Speaker 1: as well. And Pat Toomey. They've issued the following statement
- 7:36Speaker 1: with hardcore liberals like Richard Bloomenthal, Corey Booker, Okay, these
- 7:42Speaker 1: are something and by the way, Bill Cassidy also another
- 7:44Speaker 1: Republican that was a part of this deal. They said, quote, today,
- 7:48Speaker 1: we are announcing common sense bipartisan proposal to protect America's children,
- 7:53Speaker 1: keep our schools safe, and reduce the threat of violence
- 7:56Speaker 1: across our country. Families are scared, they write, and it
- 8:00Speaker 1: is our duty to come together and get something done
- 8:03Speaker 1: that will help restore their sense of safety and security
- 8:07Speaker 1: in their communities. Now, this is the part of their
- 8:09Speaker 1: statement that you tell you everything you need to know. Quote,
- 8:13Speaker 1: families are scared. It's harder to come together and get
- 8:15Speaker 1: something done that will help restore their sense of safety
- 8:18Speaker 1: and security in their communities. So they're they're admitting early on,
- 8:22Speaker 1: this is not really going to make you safer, per se.
- 8:25Speaker 1: This is not going to have a major this is
- 8:28Speaker 1: not this is not really going to stop these school shootings.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Per se. We just want you to feel safer. We're
- 8:34Speaker 1: passing legislation based on your emotions. I go back to
- 8:40Speaker 1: the democratic playbook here. Never let isn't this what they say?
- 8:46Speaker 1: What is it that they say? They say, never let
- 8:48Speaker 1: a crisis go to waste? Well, now you know this
- 8:52Speaker 1: is the crisis that they were not going to allow
- 8:55Speaker 1: it to be wasted. This was the crisis they said,
- 8:59Speaker 1: let's go. This was the crisis they said, I'm ready
- 9:02Speaker 1: to go all in on. This was the crisis. This
- 9:07Speaker 1: was the moment where they decided that they could take
- 9:11Speaker 1: and seize and take away your rights and then tell
- 9:14Speaker 1: you it's because you're the emotional one, and that's what
- 9:18Speaker 1: they've accomplished. Here. Would this shooting not have happened in
- 9:24Speaker 1: Evalde if this law would have impassed based on what
- 9:28Speaker 1: they're saying is in there, No, there is nothing that
- 9:33Speaker 1: would have changed. I want to be clear. There is
- 9:36Speaker 1: nothing that would would have happened differently, I want to
- 9:40Speaker 1: make that very clear. So this is not about stopping shootings.
- 9:46Speaker 1: This is not about saving children. This is your emotions
- 9:50Speaker 1: getting the best of you. And that's exploiting that. The
- 9:54Speaker 1: bipartisan group goes on to say our plan increases needed
- 9:57Speaker 1: mental health resources. I'm in favor of that, by the way,
- 10:00Speaker 1: and I've been favored that for a long time. The
- 10:01Speaker 1: question is why haven't they done this before? And here's why,
- 10:04Speaker 1: Because it's not about mental health to them, it's about guns,
- 10:08Speaker 1: grabbing guns and taking away your second ament right. They
- 10:11Speaker 1: could have done this a long time ago, just doing
- 10:13Speaker 1: mental health. They could have It could have been very easy.
- 10:15Speaker 1: They could have done this very quickly. It would not
- 10:18Speaker 1: have been hard for them to do this. This would
- 10:19Speaker 1: have been something very simple for them to do and
- 10:23Speaker 1: it was bipartisan right. Who would be against mental health right?
- 10:26Speaker 1: Everybody's supposed to be in favor of that. There's a
- 10:28Speaker 1: reason why they've never they've never, ever, ever, ever ever
- 10:32Speaker 1: done this, and it's a very simple reason. They don't
- 10:36Speaker 1: really care about your kids mental health. They don't really
- 10:39Speaker 1: care about mental health. They needed it as leverage in
- 10:41Speaker 1: a bill, and now they have the leverage that they
- 10:45Speaker 1: needed in the bill. Fine, we will give you mental
- 10:49Speaker 1: health right. We'll give you funding for mental health of
- 10:52Speaker 1: children who desperately need it. Okay, we'll give it to you,
- 10:57Speaker 1: but you've got to give us gun control in the process.
- 10:59Speaker 1: You've got to give away your rights. You've got to
- 11:02Speaker 1: give up your rights. And if you don't give up
- 11:05Speaker 1: your rights, then you're then you are the person that
- 11:08Speaker 1: is stopping kids from getting mental health. It's a very
- 11:12Speaker 1: very classic and smart political move. You don't support my bill,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'll tell people you're not in favor of supporting mental
- 11:20Speaker 1: health for children. You don't support my bill, I will
- 11:23Speaker 1: tell people that you want children to die, that you
- 11:27Speaker 1: want kids to be unsafe in schools. You tie things
- 11:30Speaker 1: to a bill so that you can't that. There's too
- 11:32Speaker 1: much political pressure. If you're the guy that stands up
- 11:35Speaker 1: and says no, and they'll say, oh, you wanted kids
- 11:36Speaker 1: to die, So that's you. Okay, we didn't realize that
- 11:41Speaker 1: was you, but now we know you're the worst person
- 11:43Speaker 1: in the world. Because if you're a conservative and you
- 11:46Speaker 1: stand up to this bill now and you say, well,
- 11:49Speaker 1: this bill has a lot of things in there take
- 11:50Speaker 1: away my rights, apparently that won't matter, right, that's not
- 11:55Speaker 1: that's a non issue because all people will here in
- 11:59Speaker 1: the people say is how could you be against kids' rights?
- 12:02Speaker 1: How could you be against children getting mental health? How
- 12:05Speaker 1: could you be against school security. It's called bargaining chips.
- 12:10Speaker 1: It's the game of poker. This is how the sausage
- 12:12Speaker 1: gets made, and that's why they put it in there.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Back to their press release, they say, our plan increases
- 12:19Speaker 1: needed mental health resources and improve schools, safety and support
- 12:23Speaker 1: for students, and helps ensure dangerous criminals and those who
- 12:27Speaker 1: are judicated as mentally ill can't purchase weapons. Most importantly,
- 12:32Speaker 1: our plan saves lives while also protecting the consciousal rights
- 12:35Speaker 1: of law abiding Americans. That is a lie, and if
- 12:38Speaker 1: they're writing it, you know they're lying to you. This
- 12:41Speaker 1: is what you do when you're taking away people's rights,
- 12:43Speaker 1: you tell them that you're not taking away their rights.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Game over. That's all you gotta do. Hey, put it
- 12:49Speaker 1: in there, right, they say it's bipartisan. Put it in there.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Tell everybody that they're not losing any of their rights
- 12:55Speaker 1: when clearly they're losing their rights, so that no one
- 12:57Speaker 1: can attack us and tell us that everything is terrible.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Right that they don't, you know, write it in there.
- 13:04Speaker 1: No, no no, we would. We announced this, right, we announced this.
- 13:07Speaker 1: You're not losing any of your rights. We set it
- 13:11Speaker 1: in the bill at the front of the bill. You're
- 13:12Speaker 1: not losing any rights. Stop saying you're losing rights. You're
- 13:15Speaker 1: not losing rights. We've told you you're not losing rights.
- 13:18Speaker 1: This is how you do that. Okay that this is
- 13:22Speaker 1: this is how you declare this. This is how you
- 13:25Speaker 1: say that everything is fine because you put it in writing.
- 13:29Speaker 1: We look forward to earning broad bipartisan support. The end
- 13:33Speaker 1: the letter by saying and passing our common Sense proposal
- 13:35Speaker 1: into law. This proposal includes support for state crisis. In fact,
- 13:41Speaker 1: it incentivized states to adopt red flag laws. Now, intervention
- 13:46Speaker 1: orders is what's in here. You're ready for this and
- 13:49Speaker 1: this is where you really should be concerned. I want
- 13:52Speaker 1: let me explain to you why you should be concerned.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I want you to think about your enemies list. Everybody
- 13:56Speaker 1: has one. If you think you don't, you're lying to yourself.
- 14:00Speaker 1: What I'm saying is when I want to be very
- 14:04Speaker 1: very very very very clear, an enemy's list, Okay, an
- 14:10Speaker 1: enemy's list is a list of people that don't like you.
- 14:18Speaker 1: They can be anonymous. That could be an ex wife,
- 14:21Speaker 1: an ex husband, an ex in law, an ex business partner,
- 14:26Speaker 1: a neighbor that doesn't like you, somebody that you work
- 14:29Speaker 1: with that doesn't like you. Okay, it can be It
- 14:32Speaker 1: can be a lot of different people or things, a
- 14:36Speaker 1: lot of different individuals that don't like you that could
- 14:39Speaker 1: be on your enemies list. And imagine how easy it
- 14:42Speaker 1: would be discrew with someone that values their Second Amendment.
- 14:47Speaker 1: You can call a number in your state and report somebody. Now,
- 14:51Speaker 1: imagine if you're a liberal listening right now and you
- 14:54Speaker 1: hate me. I'll use on the perfect example. Imagine your
- 15:00Speaker 1: a liberal or a politician that hates me. There's a
- 15:04Speaker 1: lot of politicians, including Republicans that I call out, that
- 15:07Speaker 1: don't like me. You can call a number and you
- 15:11Speaker 1: can say, hey, I believe that Ben Ferguson is a
- 15:14Speaker 1: threat to society. I believe that he shouldn't have a gun.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I believe that he has made threats and has anger
- 15:21Speaker 1: management issues. Have you ever listened to his radio show?
- 15:25Speaker 1: You can do all of this anonymously, and then you'll
- 15:27Speaker 1: be They'll open a file, a case file on and
- 15:31Speaker 1: then they can start investigation, and then they can take
- 15:33Speaker 1: away your guns. Now, imagine if liberals are in charge
- 15:35Speaker 1: of this case file. Imagine if liberals who hate guns
- 15:39Speaker 1: are in charge, and they will be in charge in
- 15:41Speaker 1: many states, and all of a sudden, you can just
- 15:45Speaker 1: start taking away the rights of anybody that you just
- 15:47Speaker 1: don't like. You can put together what I would refer
- 15:49Speaker 1: to as a political enemies list, people that you believe
- 15:54Speaker 1: should not have a firearm. Be pretty awesome, wouldn't it.
- 16:01Speaker 1: You can just start randomly and anonymously calling in people
- 16:04Speaker 1: you don't like. Maybe you've got an XT you don't
- 16:06Speaker 1: like and you know that he or she is a
- 16:08Speaker 1: big proponent of hunting or firearms, and you can call
- 16:11Speaker 1: in and you can tell people, hey, you know you
- 16:15Speaker 1: need to check into this person. What does this law do? It?
- 16:19Speaker 1: Provides resources quote to states and tribes to create and
- 16:22Speaker 1: administer laws that help ensure deadly weapons are kept out
- 16:27Speaker 1: of the hands of individuals whom a court has determined
- 16:29Speaker 1: to be a significant danger to themselves or others, consistent
- 16:33Speaker 1: with state and federal due process and constitutional protections. They
- 16:37Speaker 1: throw that in there, but you and I both know
- 16:39Speaker 1: that states can throw that out the window into seconds. Now,
- 16:44Speaker 1: what does it mean if you are a threat to
- 16:46Speaker 1: a danger to yourselves or others. Let's say that you
- 16:50Speaker 1: dealt with bipolar or a mental health issue in the past.
- 16:56Speaker 1: It's documented, maybe you have it under control. Maybe you
- 17:00Speaker 1: were never a threat to yourself or others. In fact,
- 17:02Speaker 1: maybe let's take that back. Maybe you dealt with mental
- 17:05Speaker 1: health issues when you were younger and before they were diagnosed,
- 17:08Speaker 1: or after even later in life. And what if all
- 17:12Speaker 1: of a sudden, you believe that you were a threat.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Just what if you what if you had suicidal thoughts?
- 17:22Speaker 1: Say you went to Iraq, Afghanistan, you you had suicidal thoughts. Okay,
- 17:29Speaker 1: you've got that. Should that mean that you can't have
- 17:33Speaker 1: a gun? That's exactly what they're saying. That's exactly what
- 17:37Speaker 1: they're saying. That could be the red flag to take
- 17:41Speaker 1: away your right to own a firearm. Not just own,
- 17:47Speaker 1: but they could actually come in and take away your guns.
- 17:54Speaker 1: They could come in and take away all of your
- 17:56Speaker 1: guns that you have. That's a problem, all because you
- 18:03Speaker 1: served your country and you deal with bipolar or something else.
- 18:07Speaker 1: It's that's simple. They say that the states that do
- 18:12Speaker 1: this will get special funding. So you've got mental health problems,
- 18:17Speaker 1: and now you may be afraid to go get help
- 18:19Speaker 1: because then you lose your guns, even though you're not
- 18:22Speaker 1: a threat to yourself and others. In fact, if your bipolar,
- 18:25Speaker 1: do you lose your right to protect and defend yourself
- 18:27Speaker 1: your family? If you deal with depression, does that mean
- 18:30Speaker 1: that you have the right you should lose your rights
- 18:32Speaker 1: to protect and defend your family. Think about that. Joining
- 18:37Speaker 1: me now to talk about this as promised is a
- 18:39Speaker 1: good friend of mine, Bill O'Reilly. Bill. I appreciate you
- 18:43Speaker 1: coming on tonight, and I want to get to your
- 18:45Speaker 1: book that I was actually reading literally on the plane
- 18:47Speaker 1: this morning, Killing the Killers a Secret or against Terrace.
- 18:50Speaker 1: But before I get to that, because I do think
- 18:52Speaker 1: these two will tie together very well. You now have
- 18:56Speaker 1: a bunch of Republicans that have gone along with a
- 18:59Speaker 1: Senate of Kratz in a quote bipartisan gun control agreement
- 19:03Speaker 1: that they say is not gun control, it is safety measures,
- 19:08Speaker 1: and it incentivized states to enact to red flag laws
- 19:11Speaker 1: where anonymously, anyone that doesn't like you, anyone that doesn't
- 19:15Speaker 1: like you for political reasons or personal reasons, next girl,
- 19:17Speaker 1: for an next wife, an employee you fired, can call
- 19:20Speaker 1: a number and get an investigation into you, opened up
- 19:24Speaker 1: and get your guns taken away from you anonymously. Your
- 19:27Speaker 1: reaction to that, well, I don't think not going to happen.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Then obviously they can pass anything they want, but it
- 19:35Speaker 1: has to go through the Senate, and a provision like
- 19:39Speaker 1: that and rioting will never pass the Senate no matter
- 19:42Speaker 1: what the Republicans sign off on initially, and then it
- 19:47Speaker 1: would be subject to court challenges coming up against the
- 19:51Speaker 1: Second Amendment, we're waiting the Supreme Court decision on carrying
- 19:58Speaker 1: of handguns and York State where I am. I think
- 20:02Speaker 1: that'll probably go against the state of New York and
- 20:05Speaker 1: it'll be a more liberal law about people carrying firearms
- 20:09Speaker 1: for protection here in the state. So I'm not worried
- 20:12Speaker 1: about this. I don't think this is going to infringe
- 20:16Speaker 1: on people's rights to protect themselves. See I'm worried. I'm worried,
- 20:20Speaker 1: and let me let me explain why I am terrified
- 20:23Speaker 1: of a incentivizing states to pass legislation that says, and
- 20:29Speaker 1: clearly this bill is advocating for that, that Hey, if
- 20:32Speaker 1: you think someone's going to harm themselves or others, you
- 20:35Speaker 1: can call and turn them in. And I think it's
- 20:36Speaker 1: gonna be very hard for people to say no to
- 20:39Speaker 1: that because it sounds quote so logical if you take
- 20:42Speaker 1: out the reality or out of context, how it can
- 20:45Speaker 1: be weaponized against good people. I mean, look at this
- 20:48Speaker 1: bill that is going to pass. In it, it's doing
- 20:52Speaker 1: literally exactly that with those twenty one and under. They're saying, hey,
- 20:55Speaker 1: if you're twenty one and under, your Second Amendment rights
- 20:58Speaker 1: are negotiable. We're going to look at all of your
- 21:02Speaker 1: mental health records and quote behavioral health issues which could
- 21:07Speaker 1: include ADD or ADHD, and then we will decide if
- 21:11Speaker 1: we allow you to buy a long arm. A rightful
- 21:14Speaker 1: if you're twenty one are under, if you've been in
- 21:17Speaker 1: trouble in the juvenile system in any way, that can
- 21:21Speaker 1: be used also against you in this quote Crackdown of
- 21:25Speaker 1: Mental Health and Behavioral Health of twenty one and unders.
- 21:29Speaker 1: You have to have probable cause then on any red
- 21:32Speaker 1: flag law to have any law enforcement agency do anything
- 21:39Speaker 1: as to the probable cause. So that means that a person,
- 21:45Speaker 1: whether he's a teenager or an adult, has got to
- 21:49Speaker 1: be demonstrably so you'd have to show this to a
- 21:53Speaker 1: judge making threats. And that's why I say people don't overreact.
- 22:03Speaker 1: This is the same system that's in place now. So
- 22:06Speaker 1: now law enforcement get all kinds of tips about unstable
- 22:11Speaker 1: people doing foolish, short threatening things that happens every day
- 22:16Speaker 1: in every police department. All this is is a publicity stunt,
- 22:20Speaker 1: and that's what it is on the part of the
- 22:23Speaker 1: left in America to try to convince voters that they
- 22:27Speaker 1: the left, by the administration, the Democratic Party, are actually
- 22:32Speaker 1: going to cut down on guncrimes. Well they're not. This
- 22:37Speaker 1: doesn't do anything to cut down on gun crimes nothing.
- 22:41Speaker 1: All this is is a pr stunt which doesn't even
- 22:45Speaker 1: have legal backing unless you have probable cauts do you
- 22:50Speaker 1: worry about activist judges? And I guess will mean Bill O'Reilly,
- 22:52Speaker 1: the author of the new book Killing the Killers, a
- 22:54Speaker 1: secret war against terrorist Do you worry about activist judges,
- 22:58Speaker 1: especially seeing with the Supreme Court just did by not
- 23:01Speaker 1: just doxing Supreme Court justice, but actually putting out basically
- 23:04Speaker 1: a kill list to stop the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I mean, we never would have imagined that this would
- 23:09Speaker 1: be leaked from the Supreme Court opinion before it was
- 23:12Speaker 1: actually given out, And yet here we are. Well, we're
- 23:16Speaker 1: in the middle of the social civil war, and that's
- 23:18Speaker 1: what the war is about. There are no rules. Who
- 23:21Speaker 1: I worry about activist judges, Yeah, I worry about them
- 23:24Speaker 1: all the time. I worry about incompetent judges, corrupt judges,
- 23:28Speaker 1: judges on the take, judges who couldn't care less about justice.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I worry about all. But in a society, the voters
- 23:38Speaker 1: have to basically decide what kind of a protection they want,
- 23:46Speaker 1: which is why I don't like any of these federal
- 23:49Speaker 1: laws involving guns. I think the states should make the
- 23:52Speaker 1: laws because a big difference about how social interaction is
- 23:58Speaker 1: carried on in New York City and ask for Wyoming.
- 24:01Speaker 1: It's a huge difference. So if you live in a
- 24:04Speaker 1: rural place where the police can can't possibly protect you
- 24:09Speaker 1: you have you know, you should have an AAR. You're
- 24:12Speaker 1: probably derelict if you don't have one to protect your family.
- 24:15Speaker 1: But if you're in a city of eight and a
- 24:16Speaker 1: half million people where people live on top of one another,
- 24:20Speaker 1: then that becomes a little bit more problematic. So let's
- 24:24Speaker 1: the states decide what should happen. The same thing on abortion.
- 24:29Speaker 1: The states should be able to decide what kind of
- 24:33Speaker 1: abortion laws there would be. And you know the tenth Amendment,
- 24:37Speaker 1: then you're a smart guy. If it is not exactly
- 24:40Speaker 1: specified in the Constitution, it goes to the states. Yeah,
- 24:48Speaker 1: it's clear. It's clear unless unless you're a socialist that's
- 24:52Speaker 1: trying to take away the rights of the people. And
- 24:57Speaker 1: that's and that's where I just I don't trust Democrats.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I used to have a Elesa's somewhat of respect for them.
- 25:03Speaker 1: The Democratic Party, in my opinion, is no longer in
- 25:05Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. They're a socialist party and we need
- 25:07Speaker 1: to start calling them that. Well, look, you call them that,
- 25:11Speaker 1: many people on talk radio call them that. The good
- 25:14Speaker 1: news for your side is that they're almost through. They're
- 25:18Speaker 1: almost finished. Because I saw that in San Francisco. You're
- 25:23Speaker 1: going to see it in La You're going to see
- 25:25Speaker 1: it in New York. The folks have had it. They
- 25:28Speaker 1: know that the socialists, far left progressive movement is putting
- 25:33Speaker 1: them in danger and their children in danger. Everybody knows that.
- 25:36Speaker 1: There's no debate about it, no two sides of the story,
- 25:39Speaker 1: the stat stats. I hope you're right. I want to
- 25:42Speaker 1: get to your book. I was reading it this morning
- 25:44Speaker 1: on the plane, and this new book out, Killing the Killers,
- 25:46Speaker 1: A Secret War against Terrace, was the first. The opening
- 25:50Speaker 1: of the book is incredible, and it reminds you of
- 25:52Speaker 1: what we had to do after nine to eleven and
- 25:54Speaker 1: taking and tracking down of Sama bin Laden and the
- 25:58Speaker 1: killing of Sam Bin Laden and the brave young men,
- 26:02Speaker 1: especially as we talk about gun laws, saying, you know
- 26:04Speaker 1: those the president believes those twenty one unders shouldn't able
- 26:06Speaker 1: to buy a long rifle. Yet well we train them
- 26:09Speaker 1: to go kill Osama bin Laden. It's just amazing how
- 26:11Speaker 1: they can have such a double standard in treating people
- 26:14Speaker 1: two different ways depending on how they want to use them.
- 26:17Speaker 1: But you look at this book, and it's a book
- 26:19Speaker 1: that talks about some of the most amazing and heroic
- 26:22Speaker 1: people in our history who have gone out there to
- 26:25Speaker 1: kill the terrorists around the world. And I encourage everyone
- 26:30Speaker 1: to grab this book because it screams freedom, fighters, democracy.
- 26:35Speaker 1: It screams about how important it is to remind you
- 26:38Speaker 1: that our freedoms are not without a massive price, and
- 26:41Speaker 1: these people put their lives at risk each and every
- 26:44Speaker 1: day to protect all of us. Well, I appreciate your
- 26:47Speaker 1: reading a number one, and I think your assessment of
- 26:49Speaker 1: it is correct. This is the best Father Who Day
- 26:52Speaker 1: gift you could possibly give Dad if Dad is interested
- 26:56Speaker 1: in his country. If you buy it on Deloiley, doctor
- 27:00Speaker 1: will throw in killing the Mob free. And I did
- 27:03Speaker 1: that because I feel so terrible that working people are
- 27:06Speaker 1: paying so much for everything, so I want to give
- 27:09Speaker 1: them a break for Father's Day. But Killing the Killers
- 27:13Speaker 1: is basically a vivid example of the heroism of the
- 27:19Speaker 1: United States, and we talk to national security people from
- 27:24Speaker 1: General Petrayus with Bush the Younger all the way through
- 27:27Speaker 1: the Trump administration. We end the book with the Afghanistan debacle,
- 27:31Speaker 1: How that happened, How insane that was, with thirteen American
- 27:35Speaker 1: service people being killed at Cobble Airport. After you read
- 27:38Speaker 1: this book, you will know exactly what your government is
- 27:42Speaker 1: doing to protect you against these savage, evil giadists, and
- 27:48Speaker 1: it's impressive. So when people say, well, I don't really
- 27:51Speaker 1: trust the federal government, I understand. I think Joe Biden
- 27:54Speaker 1: is the second most incompetent president has ever served. But
- 27:58Speaker 1: the federal government's or can be used for good, and
- 28:02Speaker 1: it can be used very effectively. And we show that
- 28:06Speaker 1: in Killing the Killers or dot Com Amazon all the bookstores,
- 28:11Speaker 1: number one book today on the New York Times list,
- 28:15Speaker 1: and you know how they love me, Ben, Hey, they
- 28:19Speaker 1: appreciate everybody. It's hard. It's hard. It's hard to get
- 28:23Speaker 1: a one bestseller anymore, right, if you're on our side
- 28:25Speaker 1: of the aisle. He congrats, thanks, thanks, I appreciate you
- 28:30Speaker 1: having me on. I want to say again, I love Bill.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I disagree with him, and we've fought for decades. I
- 28:38Speaker 1: say that on TV, no joke on. He's not worried
- 28:42Speaker 1: about the judges. I am, because what I know is
- 28:45Speaker 1: there's activist judges in this country. And he admitted that,
- 28:47Speaker 1: he said, after I phrase it that way, with these
- 28:50Speaker 1: you know judges that would decide, we'll hold on. There's
- 28:52Speaker 1: texting balances, and these judges will get to decide. So
- 28:55Speaker 1: you don't need to worry about red flaglogs. I do
- 28:58Speaker 1: because I don't trust them. And a perfect example is
- 29:01Speaker 1: the kill list that was put out against these conservative
- 29:04Speaker 1: Supreme Court justice and one of them they tried to
- 29:06Speaker 1: assassinate this past week too because of Roe v. Wade.
- 29:10Speaker 1: And that's at the highest level. That's at the Supreme Court.
- 29:14Speaker 1: So at the Supreme Court you have activist judges and
- 29:17Speaker 1: activist staff members. What if you get an activist judge
- 29:20Speaker 1: and there are activist judge out there. Look at all
- 29:22Speaker 1: of the judges that aren't putting people in jail, that
- 29:25Speaker 1: are working with activist das in this country, not put
- 29:28Speaker 1: people in jail for committing Haina's crimes because of quote
- 29:31Speaker 1: prison reform and bail reform. Look at all the judges
- 29:35Speaker 1: that give people, you know, parole instead of jail time.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Even judges that we've exposed that we're doing this with
- 29:44Speaker 1: child predators. I don't trust that. There's not and judges,
- 29:49Speaker 1: a lot of them are elected. Don't forget that. I
- 29:52Speaker 1: don't trust to judge too, that's a hardcore lefty to
- 29:55Speaker 1: protect my Second Amendment rights. I don't trust a lefty
- 29:59Speaker 1: jail judge. If the name Ben Ferguson comes before them
- 30:02Speaker 1: that they don't want to make a name for themselves.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Maybe they want to run for office another office. Maybe
- 30:07Speaker 1: they want to run for Congress, or governor or Senate
- 30:09Speaker 1: or something else, and they can say I took away
- 30:11Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson's guns. That's something that a lot of liberals
- 30:15Speaker 1: would really like, right, A lot of liberals would really
- 30:19Speaker 1: really like that and vote for that. Right. I took
- 30:22Speaker 1: away the guns of these conservatives because I don't trust them. Right,
- 30:27Speaker 1: I took away Donald Trump Junior's guns, or Donald Trump's guns. Right.
- 30:31Speaker 1: The list goes on and on of different people. Tucker
- 30:34Speaker 1: Carlson's guns. I don't trust for a second that these
- 30:39Speaker 1: activist judges and these activist das won't go all in
- 30:42Speaker 1: against people just because they own guns, and that's the
- 30:46Speaker 1: only reason, just because they own a firearm, just because
- 30:50Speaker 1: they own a weapon. I don't trust for a second
- 30:54Speaker 1: that they won't do that. And I don't think you
- 30:57Speaker 1: should trust them either. Shall not be in means, shall
- 31:01Speaker 1: not be infringed. And and this is and if there's
- 31:04Speaker 1: anything you need to learn from what just happened, Okay,
- 31:09Speaker 1: if there's if there's anything you need to understand from
- 31:13Speaker 1: what just happened. It is that they're changing the way
- 31:16Speaker 1: they're coming after your guns. It's going to be confiscation first,
- 31:20Speaker 1: gun control second, and they're going to pass laws the
- 31:22Speaker 1: name of guns safety so that you can't say it's
- 31:25Speaker 1: gun control. It's repackaging of gun control. What this bill is,
- 31:29Speaker 1: it is a gun control bill. They packaged it as
- 31:32Speaker 1: a gun safety bill, and then they tell you what
- 31:35Speaker 1: they wish they could have gotten done. This is part
- 31:37Speaker 1: of the slippery slope. This is the reason why our
- 31:39Speaker 1: founding fathers said shall not be infringed, because they understand
- 31:43Speaker 1: it's important to not be infringed upon your rights. Should
- 31:46Speaker 1: not be infringed. Shall not be infringed, means shall not
- 31:51Speaker 1: be infringed. And the Democrats don't want you to look
- 31:54Speaker 1: at it or see it that way. That is the problem.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I hope all of you well also grab our podcasts
- 32:01Speaker 1: that we did last week explaining this bill in detail
- 32:04Speaker 1: and how if it was passed, based on what's in
- 32:07Speaker 1: it, it it would have had no bearing on many of
- 32:10Speaker 1: the mass shootings in this country's history, including Sandy Hook.
- 32:15Speaker 1: They're passing laws in the name of a horrific tragedy
- 32:19Speaker 1: that would have had no bearing on that tragedy in
- 32:21Speaker 1: the Valley, Texas. They bring out the Matthew McConaughey's or
- 32:25Speaker 1: the world to try to emotionally convince you that this
- 32:29Speaker 1: is a moral imperative. And the question you should ask
- 32:31Speaker 1: is if it wasn't acted, would have changed anything there?
- 32:34Speaker 1: And the answer is no, it would not have changed it.
- 32:38Speaker 1: It wouldn't have changed any of it. And if you're
- 32:40Speaker 1: passing a law in the name of it changing something
- 32:44Speaker 1: and it won't change it, then you are lying to
- 32:47Speaker 1: the American people. Wake up and pay attention, because this
- 32:51Speaker 1: is what they are doing.
