- 2:07Speaker 1: wanted only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, here
- 2:13Speaker 1: we go. I was working out. I was talking to
- 2:18Speaker 1: a buddy of mine, and I was telling him something
- 2:22Speaker 1: that Bishop td Jake's told me one time. I heard
- 2:27Speaker 1: him say it. He said, Oh, I would hate to
- 2:30Speaker 1: die and not do the thing that I was born
- 2:35Speaker 1: to do. I would hate to die and not do
- 2:42Speaker 1: the theme that I was born to do. Man, oh man,
- 2:47Speaker 1: oh man, man. That hit me like a like a
- 2:50Speaker 1: like a pile of bricks man, because it made me
- 2:55Speaker 1: feel so grateful that God has allowed me to live
- 3:01Speaker 1: my life this way now. And I'm talking about grateful
- 3:06Speaker 1: for all of it, the good, the bad, and the
- 3:10Speaker 1: ugly and I have had all of them. The person
- 3:15Speaker 1: you see today it ain't always who I was. It
- 3:19Speaker 1: was on the inside of me, but it hadn't externalized itself,
- 3:23Speaker 1: if that's a word. It hadn't been brought out. It
- 3:27Speaker 1: was in here, but it was under development. Who I
- 3:31Speaker 1: am today was a process. But like I said before,
- 3:37Speaker 1: don't trip Hem through with me yet. Even today, I'm
- 3:43Speaker 1: still an imperfect soldier for Christ. Today, I still fall
- 3:49Speaker 1: short oftentimes, but I'll tell you what, I'm ever grateful
- 3:56Speaker 1: for the life I have. And you know what, I
- 3:59Speaker 1: want to encourage everybody today to explore your possibilities. I mean, man,
- 4:08Speaker 1: explore your possibilities. Why would you not want to find out, discover,
- 4:18Speaker 1: or know what it is God got for you? Why
- 4:24Speaker 1: would you not want to achieve or accomplish all of
- 4:28Speaker 1: your possibilities? Now, as I ask you this question, I
- 4:32Speaker 1: want you to know that the devil is busy, that
- 4:36Speaker 1: he plays mind tricks. So as you hear this, I
- 4:39Speaker 1: already know he's saying to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve,
- 4:42Speaker 1: that's easy for you to say, but I didn't get
- 4:45Speaker 1: myself in this situation right here. Ain't nothing too hard
- 4:48Speaker 1: for God? Nothing nothing, And see. So as you listen
- 4:55Speaker 1: to me, try to try to get your mind open
- 4:59Speaker 1: to this. Why would you not want to explore all
- 5:03Speaker 1: of your life's possibilities, what's possible with your life? And
- 5:08Speaker 1: I'm talking about from right where you are right now.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I'm not asking you to change, I'm not asking you
- 5:15Speaker 1: to do anything. I'm telling you this is a fact
- 5:18Speaker 1: that God can get you from right where you are
- 5:22Speaker 1: right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken, all of that, misfortunate,
- 5:38Speaker 1: all of the missus you've been talking about in your life.
- 5:41Speaker 1: You know you. I missed the lottery, I missed my ride.
- 5:45Speaker 1: They fined me. I missed the deadline. I didn't get
- 5:49Speaker 1: it miss pop. People just miss stay self to death.
- 5:54Speaker 1: If you've been all in missus, God can get you
- 5:57Speaker 1: from right where you are. God a home run hitter.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I'm here to tell you that he's a home run hitter.
- 6:04Speaker 1: He's a put him over the wall whenever he wants to,
- 6:07Speaker 1: all the time. And you can be a recipient of
- 6:09Speaker 1: some of these home runs. He'll put the bat in
- 6:12Speaker 1: your hand. But you got to swain now, listen to me.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You got to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got
- 6:18Speaker 1: to stop holding yourself down with beating yourself up. He
- 6:22Speaker 1: won't hold you down about it if you don't hold
- 6:24Speaker 1: yourself down about it. But I'm gonna tell you one
- 6:27Speaker 1: more time. The devil is busy. So what the devil
- 6:30Speaker 1: do is He makes you think you ain't worthy. He
- 6:32Speaker 1: makes you think that you've done something so despicable that
- 6:35Speaker 1: you can't come back from it. He makes you feel
- 6:38Speaker 1: like you're so low you can't go up high. He
- 6:40Speaker 1: knocked you down and make you feel like you've been
- 6:42Speaker 1: knocked down harder than anybody else. You can't get up.
- 6:45Speaker 1: He rolled you so deep down in that ditch you
- 6:47Speaker 1: can't see over the edge. God can come get you
- 6:51Speaker 1: from no matter where you are. I'm telling you, man,
- 6:55Speaker 1: you ain't in no hole too deep for God. Magic
- 6:59Speaker 1: Johnson attended tell you that. Listen to me. You ain't
- 7:01Speaker 1: in no hole too deep for God. Steve Harvey can
- 7:04Speaker 1: tell you that you ain't in a hole too deep
- 7:07Speaker 1: for God. Tyler Perry can tell you that. I can
- 7:11Speaker 1: name you some people. Bishop Jake can tell you that.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I could tell you. Kenneth Alma can tell you that.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Bishop Kenneth Olman, I could tell you some people. Kirk
- 7:19Speaker 1: Franklin can tell you that. Donnie mcclarkton can tell you
- 7:22Speaker 1: that I just know some people personally man that they've
- 7:24Speaker 1: been in a hole. Joel Oldstein can tell your body.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I know some people man been down, been in a
- 7:31Speaker 1: hole so deep, I bet you. Paula Deane can tell
- 7:34Speaker 1: you about it. See. But but you know what, then
- 7:39Speaker 1: here we go, see we see see you know, see
- 7:42Speaker 1: we don't. We don't like to talk about that because
- 7:45Speaker 1: now we want everybody to pay extra hard for some
- 7:47Speaker 1: mistakes they made when clearly and excuse me for being
- 7:51Speaker 1: a new Christian, but there is a PRAYD that I've
- 7:53Speaker 1: been saying since I was a little bitty boy, and
- 7:55Speaker 1: it took me till I was a grown man to
- 7:57Speaker 1: understand it. Forgive us our trust passes as we forgive
- 8:01Speaker 1: those who trust passed against us. So see, it ain't
- 8:05Speaker 1: my job to hold nobody down, to keep my knee
- 8:08Speaker 1: on somebody's neck. Who am I I'm gonna need some
- 8:11Speaker 1: forgiveness in a second here, probably today. See so all
- 8:16Speaker 1: this you're holding people down with the way you feel
- 8:19Speaker 1: inbot then she shouldn't have said this, and she will
- 8:21Speaker 1: never get it. I'll never support this again, Man, get up,
- 8:25Speaker 1: Get up and get real. You're for real. You think
- 8:27Speaker 1: you ain't fit the need forgiveness real soon you ain't
- 8:29Speaker 1: finn to make a diabolical mistake in your life. You
- 8:32Speaker 1: don't think you are. I have thousands of them, probably
- 8:36Speaker 1: gonna make a few hundred more for I get up
- 8:37Speaker 1: out of here. So I've decided to be in a
- 8:40Speaker 1: forgiving business because I want God to forgive my trust
- 8:45Speaker 1: passes as I forgive those who trust passed against me.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You understand. See excuse me for being a new Christian.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I get I get tired of talking to pistol, to
- 8:56Speaker 1: people man supposed to be saved, and talking about dead Christian.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I don't want to type religion. Man. I ain't in
- 9:01Speaker 1: that no more. I ain't in that. You can call
- 9:02Speaker 1: me wrong if you want to saying how you want
- 9:05Speaker 1: to say. I ain't in that, no more. I ain't
- 9:06Speaker 1: in all that. You can feel how you want to
- 9:08Speaker 1: feel about me. But I got proof that God work
- 9:10Speaker 1: in my life. You know, I can't hardly get it
- 9:13Speaker 1: out Sometime when people ask me something about deeper on
- 9:16Speaker 1: the inside of me, about my soul and how I
- 9:18Speaker 1: used to being, and my journey and my trip because
- 9:20Speaker 1: people don't know the trip I've been on. You may
- 9:23Speaker 1: have been on one worse than me, but you know what,
- 9:25Speaker 1: you ain't in a hole too deep. God can't get
- 9:27Speaker 1: you out of. Man. I wish, I want. I want
- 9:30Speaker 1: people to remember that man, God is a redeemer, He
- 9:34Speaker 1: the Great I am. So if you ain't got nothing,
- 9:36Speaker 1: now what you asking fault? You know you might not
- 9:39Speaker 1: have nothing because you ain't asking for nothing. Could asking
- 9:42Speaker 1: God to get you out of debt and ask God
- 9:44Speaker 1: for a life of abundance. Then you take the money
- 9:47Speaker 1: and you get out of debt. You keep asking to
- 9:49Speaker 1: get out of debt. You keep being in debt to
- 9:51Speaker 1: get out of Come on, man, what you're asking God? Fault?
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm just tripping today, that's all. I'm sorry. I apologize.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Ladies and gentlemen, man, have your
- 10:04Speaker 1: attention please. Uh. It's Monday morning, it's the beginning of
- 10:07Speaker 1: a new week. But it's the same damn thing up
- 10:10Speaker 1: in here. We've been to turn up this volume, create
- 10:14Speaker 1: this ignorance and be botty bout it, dog going it.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Shirley Strong. We let Steve we let Oh, that's so,
- 10:29Speaker 1: we let Steve we love man, we live? That was fun.
- 10:38Speaker 1: That was fun. It's young people listening to this show going, uh,
- 10:43Speaker 1: we live, and they probably ain't even saying that. No, boy,
- 10:49Speaker 1: say still saying we live. I'm scared to use modern
- 10:56Speaker 1: day slang. I'm still going. I'm still doing you know
- 10:59Speaker 1: what's happening? The playoff? You know that way? I know,
- 11:03Speaker 1: I know it's out of style and all my tops
- 11:06Speaker 1: out of style. We let calla for real. What's happening?
- 11:12Speaker 1: We bought that life? What's going on? Junior? You got one?
- 11:17Speaker 1: I just gonna say morning on my toem me. You
- 11:22Speaker 1: got one lit light lit, I'm living my bath life. Yeah,
- 11:27Speaker 1: now dude, this one still work. Turn up? Yeah, that
- 11:31Speaker 1: was still work. Come on, what it is? What it is? Good? Good?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Everybody cool? My man? Slapping five? You did that that?
- 11:53Speaker 1: You may as well throw it right on in their stick.
- 11:56Speaker 1: I still say right on. I still say a man.
- 12:00Speaker 1: When I talk to my older brother, it's it's it's
- 12:03Speaker 1: like talking to Marvin Gaye. Sci man. I'm talking to them, Hey,
- 12:10Speaker 1: what's up? Bro'sing with you? Up? Man? Give me some
- 12:13Speaker 1: of that skin, man, your skin that's five on the
- 12:17Speaker 1: black hand. Keeping like that, it's all right, man, right on,
- 12:22Speaker 1: what's been going on with your player? You still doing it,
- 12:25Speaker 1: ain't you? You know? People ain't easy, But somebody gotta
- 12:28Speaker 1: doing it. Might be me. He yeah, what's up? What's up? Timmy?
- 12:35Speaker 1: One of my little girls, one of the friends of
- 12:37Speaker 1: the house said, mister, Timmy, you lit, I said, baby.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I said, baby, I don't, I don't. I don't smoke
- 12:41Speaker 1: with I don't know what you're about. She said, what
- 12:48Speaker 1: that couldn't be a drup either way. I wasn't there.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know what little Yeah, especially
- 12:56Speaker 1: in front of your kids. No, but you gotta stay
- 12:59Speaker 1: fresh and up, Tommy. We got younger kids to you.
- 13:02Speaker 1: You know, Hey, hey, hey, let me tell you what
- 13:04Speaker 1: I did. One day in Atlanta. I came out my
- 13:07Speaker 1: office with my shirt open, and my kids friends was
- 13:10Speaker 1: in the house. When you say, Dad, your shirt is open,
- 13:13Speaker 1: I said, I live here. Tell all your little flat
- 13:17Speaker 1: stomach ass from to turn around and quick looking over here.
- 13:20Speaker 1: But it's so funny, Steve, You're right because we're at
- 13:23Speaker 1: an age now where everything we do embarrasses our kids.
- 13:27Speaker 1: There's nothing that we can do that where our kids
- 13:30Speaker 1: think we're cool. Nothing. All right, listen. Coming up at
- 13:33Speaker 1: thirty two after the hour, we'll have more of the
- 13:35Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Shop right after this. Let we let
- 13:39Speaker 1: turn up. You're listening to show. I gotta ask the guys,
- 13:47Speaker 1: what was the best summer job you ever had? And
- 13:51Speaker 1: what job would you not do again? No matter how
- 13:53Speaker 1: much it paid? Steve? What job would I not do again?
- 13:58Speaker 1: O matter how much you paid? That? Found you at
- 14:01Speaker 1: Ford Motor Cover. Oh you you wouldn't do that. I
- 14:06Speaker 1: wouldn't do that, and I would not do No the
- 14:08Speaker 1: worst that you know to found you. I didn't like it. Uh,
- 14:13Speaker 1: the similar line at Ford, and that's some cool people
- 14:16Speaker 1: I work with. That wasn't bad. Going to work wasn't
- 14:19Speaker 1: what I was meant to do. But uh, though, Lincoln
- 14:23Speaker 1: Electric is the worst job I've ever had. I hate it.
- 14:27Speaker 1: What did you do that? What did you do there?
- 14:29Speaker 1: I wrapped coil wire? You? It's so really it's tough.
- 14:33Speaker 1: You know what dies are? Dives are these small round
- 14:37Speaker 1: things that you pull wire through, and every die gets smaller.
- 14:41Speaker 1: So the wire goes through and compresses and shaves down
- 14:45Speaker 1: and gets thinner and thinner. So let's say the wire
- 14:48Speaker 1: starts like a microphone cord okay, And what you're trying
- 14:53Speaker 1: to get it down to is a chord wire that
- 14:59Speaker 1: go those inside of them inside of speaker while smaller
- 15:04Speaker 1: than what it is. So you put it through the
- 15:07Speaker 1: die and it goes through this machine at a high speed,
- 15:10Speaker 1: and every diet goes through every six eight feet gets
- 15:14Speaker 1: small and small, and it wraps up into a big
- 15:17Speaker 1: coil and then you got to box it up and
- 15:19Speaker 1: put it on the pallette. Now to break even, you
- 15:22Speaker 1: had to make two hundred and thirty eight boxes a day. Wow,
- 15:26Speaker 1: it'd be some days I finished. I got eighty short ugly,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I mean, you know, but now you're gonna get a guarantee,
- 15:38Speaker 1: uh huh. But to get the bonus you had to
- 15:41Speaker 1: make extra and at the end of the year, guys
- 15:44Speaker 1: was getting fifty thous What you get I ain't never get.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Oh you didn't even get a bonus period? Well what
- 15:59Speaker 1: about it? I mean, how can they do? Why? Why
- 16:03Speaker 1: was you so slow with Joe? You just hate it, man.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I didn't like doing the mechanical work to keep the
- 16:10Speaker 1: line running because you had to change your dies all
- 16:12Speaker 1: the time because of inspect to come by and tell
- 16:16Speaker 1: you that your wire has a score in it, which
- 16:18Speaker 1: means a little scratch. That means one of the dies
- 16:21Speaker 1: is wore out and you don't catch it. And didn't
- 16:25Speaker 1: the inspect to come by and x out all your
- 16:28Speaker 1: boxes in the box with the scores and it got
- 16:32Speaker 1: to go. So you lose fifteen fifteen boxes went to
- 16:37Speaker 1: inspected it. I hate it. Wow, you're depressed telling us
- 16:43Speaker 1: about it at that What how old were you then?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Oh twenty three mm. So that was one of your
- 16:55Speaker 1: first like full time jobs. Right after did you quit?
- 17:00Speaker 1: Did you quit or they fired you? Yeah? I quit.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I made that story. What did you say? And what
- 17:09Speaker 1: is happening? You're not doing any business? Loan came? Oh
- 17:14Speaker 1: your small business law? Open up the carbon cleaning. Come.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I didn't have no loan. I just wanted to walk
- 17:23Speaker 1: out with dignity. The look hall man, we're gonna miss you. Man.
- 17:27Speaker 1: You're a good dude. Man. It was funny. Man. You
- 17:29Speaker 1: kep us live in him. Man. Yeah, that why I
- 17:32Speaker 1: had been whooping your behind. Please man, so sad. I
- 17:40Speaker 1: was dying, man, And I want midnight shift from midnight
- 17:43Speaker 1: to eight in the morning. I would be so sweet
- 17:45Speaker 1: coming home I drive by my exit. Wow, that's how sleepy,
- 17:50Speaker 1: I would be. I would I miss my exit at
- 17:53Speaker 1: least five times. Okay, so let's switch it and ask
- 17:57Speaker 1: you what was the best summer job you had? Because
- 18:00Speaker 1: depressed us all just I got a job at the
- 18:03Speaker 1: swimming pool as a lifeguard and can't swim. That's the
- 18:07Speaker 1: best job still right in college, I got a job
- 18:11Speaker 1: at the swimming pool and watching girls has a lifeguarding
- 18:16Speaker 1: just hoping nobody get into. Did anybody ever get in
- 18:20Speaker 1: in a drastic situation? No, thank god, you got lucky man.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I had all the life raft stuff. I had so
- 18:32Speaker 1: much stuff in the pool. I was throwing furniture in
- 18:34Speaker 1: the pool. I had so much furniture in the pool.
- 18:36Speaker 1: One time, one dude got in trouble and I threw
- 18:38Speaker 1: so much stuff in the pool he could walk out.
- 18:41Speaker 1: He didn't throw a staring phone, cool lot there. I
- 18:44Speaker 1: had so much pool furniture that he could walk out.
- 18:48Speaker 1: So they didn't test you anything to see if you
- 18:50Speaker 1: could swim. They just hired you on the spot. That's crazy. Well,
- 18:54Speaker 1: what it happened was my name was Steve Harvey. Yes,
- 18:58Speaker 1: of course it was a white got to school named
- 19:01Speaker 1: Steve Darby. Okay, he didn't come to work. So I
- 19:05Speaker 1: went and he said, are you Stee Jarby? And I went, yeah,
- 19:13Speaker 1: just with no problem. He said, well here you go
- 19:15Speaker 1: handing me that little red thing said where's your shorts? Okay?
- 19:22Speaker 1: So I told him I have him tomorrow. I just
- 19:24Speaker 1: bought my pants. That rolled him up and set up
- 19:26Speaker 1: on this chair. The lifeguard told him, my name is
- 19:34Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. I got paid man about six weeks. What
- 19:39Speaker 1: so Steve Darby never came back. The white guy, I
- 19:45Speaker 1: have no idea what happened to it? Dude? He didn't
- 19:47Speaker 1: show up. Steve Harvey went on in there, got the lifeguard.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Anybody had a drown in their pool, they'd have been dead.
- 19:55Speaker 1: But a god, I can't say nobody. It wasn't about
- 19:59Speaker 1: to jump in that deep and trouble in this five
- 20:04Speaker 1: foot and we noticed just when when ain't margin tried
- 20:09Speaker 1: to get in the water in Hawaii? You remember that?
- 20:11Speaker 1: He almost? Yes? He did? Yes? And you did you
- 20:16Speaker 1: ever learn to swim? Steve? A little bit? You know?
- 20:20Speaker 1: I I have get back, Oh, get back whatever I
- 20:27Speaker 1: fell off of I could swim good. You got get out,
- 20:30Speaker 1: he got get out that swim crossed down. That ain't
- 20:35Speaker 1: gonna I'm so glad you found your purpose. I'm so
- 20:38Speaker 1: glad you found your purpose. Wow. I know had a lifeguard,
- 20:44Speaker 1: but getting paid. Skinny has had some nice shot coming out.

- 22:15Speaker 1: an interracial relationship. Correct, Yes, okay, I'm with NBFU and
- 22:23Speaker 1: that's uh NBFU is no blacks for you. And what
- 22:28Speaker 1: we're doing is we're trying to get U racist to
- 22:32Speaker 1: go back to dating each other, you know, which means
- 22:35Speaker 1: Caucasians going back. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I first, I
- 22:39Speaker 1: don't know who do you think you are calling my house?
- 22:43Speaker 1: But that's just not going to happen. And I don't
- 22:45Speaker 1: know where this organization is based out of. I mean,
- 22:47Speaker 1: you must be some country bumpkin or something and you
- 22:51Speaker 1: have just really called the wrong house. Okay, Well no,
- 22:54Speaker 1: uh NBFU man, it's been around since the early nineteen
- 22:59Speaker 1: four these. Yeah, I can imagine. I can imagine that.
- 23:02Speaker 1: I'm sure at some points you guys have to shut
- 23:05Speaker 1: down because this is just ridiculous. Do you know what
- 23:07Speaker 1: I mean? Obama's mother was white. Are you gonna go
- 23:10Speaker 1: knock on his door too? What the hell are you.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I'm not gonna have time to knock on Obama's door.
- 23:14Speaker 1: He's business. Whatever I'm trying to do is get the
- 23:17Speaker 1: rest of the country the sand black. And that's what
- 23:23Speaker 1: I'm playing. What I'm trying to try to tell us
- 23:25Speaker 1: we can't be together because you're black and I'm white.
- 23:28Speaker 1: He's calling, Yo, what's up? Who this? Uh? Okay? Who? Who? Who?
- 23:36Speaker 1: Who is this? This is a I'm a man. Who this? Okay?
- 23:41Speaker 1: This is Gadiah malcol And what I'm doing, man, is well,
- 23:45Speaker 1: you know, I'm with an organization called n b FLU
- 23:49Speaker 1: and NBFU. Man, there's no blacks for you. Which what
- 23:52Speaker 1: we're trying to do is we're trying to get all
- 23:53Speaker 1: racists to go back to each others. What you're talking, man,
- 23:58Speaker 1: you are what? What's what kind of organization has that
- 24:01Speaker 1: y'all are tripping? Okay, brother, let me ask you don't
- 24:04Speaker 1: feel you don't feel empty without the sister on your side.
- 24:08Speaker 1: You don't feel empty without loving black woman on your side.
- 24:12Speaker 1: That's what I'm asking you, brother. I got I got
- 24:14Speaker 1: plenty of black woman on my side, but that don't
- 24:17Speaker 1: mean that I had to be in a relationship with
- 24:18Speaker 1: a black woman I'm in a relationship with a woman
- 24:20Speaker 1: I love, So that's what it's about. Now, I don't
- 24:22Speaker 1: feel empty. That's the first problem with your organization right there,
- 24:25Speaker 1: that the premise is wrong. Okay, okay, okay, but brother,
- 24:28Speaker 1: what we're trying to do, man, we don't want to
- 24:31Speaker 1: lose our rate. We don't want the blacks to lose
- 24:33Speaker 1: the strength that we have. And if blacks continued to
- 24:36Speaker 1: date and mate with blacks, then we would be as
- 24:38Speaker 1: powerful and stronger than any other race in the world.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Where did you get this number from? Man? Excuse me?
- 24:44Speaker 1: How do you get this nuther? In the first? Like, dude,
- 24:46Speaker 1: I mean, I ain't got time for all this, man,
- 24:48Speaker 1: this is a nonsense bro. How you Why are you
- 24:50Speaker 1: calling us? Hey? Man? Because all y'all interracial or couple?
- 24:53Speaker 1: It was yeah, but what businesses that? Man? That ain't
- 24:55Speaker 1: not in your business? Hey, But it is my business.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Is I'm with if I'm with n B L for
- 24:59Speaker 1: you know who you and you you're a black person
- 25:03Speaker 1: that integrated within another race. And what we're trying to do, man,
- 25:06Speaker 1: is get you to understand to come back to your
- 25:09Speaker 1: race and be comfortable and happy in your race. You
- 25:12Speaker 1: don't really now, do come back to my race. I
- 25:15Speaker 1: ain't never left my race. Dog, you are tripping yo,
- 25:19Speaker 1: and be you you y'all get off our phone. Man,
- 25:22Speaker 1: don't call hit no more? Whatever? Do you think that
- 25:24Speaker 1: you are happier with a Caucasian woman than you would
- 25:28Speaker 1: be with a black woman? Man, I don't even I
- 25:31Speaker 1: don't want to entertain it. Don't call hit no more.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Don't call hit no more. Do you let me ask you?
- 25:37Speaker 1: Be a man and answer the questions? Oh, dog, you
- 25:40Speaker 1: know what you're about to get you up? Well? Dog,
- 25:42Speaker 1: you know you really, you really gonna get you up?
- 25:46Speaker 1: Will be a man. I'm asking a great man. You
- 25:49Speaker 1: know what, if you bring it over here, you'll find
- 25:51Speaker 1: out how much of a grown man I am. Hey, man,
- 25:54Speaker 1: don't get you. Don't man while I'm in the middle
- 25:56Speaker 1: of asking you these questions, because I ain't got no
- 25:58Speaker 1: problem coming over there. I got your phone number, I
- 26:01Speaker 1: got your address too. Bring you one over and see
- 26:04Speaker 1: what you're trying. I'm asking you about these relationships. Man,
- 26:08Speaker 1: Are you more comfortable in a relationship with a Caucasian
- 26:12Speaker 1: woman than you are with a black woman? Dog? I
- 26:15Speaker 1: told you Land it ain't even about that. And we
- 26:16Speaker 1: ain't even going into that. So look, just please, brother,
- 26:20Speaker 1: can you stop calling him? Don't call my girl. Man.
- 26:23Speaker 1: We're calling all interracial people around the country. That's what
- 26:28Speaker 1: NBF you does. We call all of y'all and we
- 26:31Speaker 1: try to talk some sensing to you and see if
- 26:33Speaker 1: you can change the world and go back to the
- 26:36Speaker 1: racist from which is you came. You're tripping, yup, You're
- 26:39Speaker 1: really tripping man. You know what obviously just a mental
- 26:43Speaker 1: institution you're calling from because there's something wrong with you.
- 26:46Speaker 1: So look, don't call him no more. And we ain't
- 26:49Speaker 1: got no more problems. I say this, I say this
- 26:52Speaker 1: to you. I'm going to your your girl's job and
- 26:55Speaker 1: I'm talking to her face to face tomorrow about this
- 26:58Speaker 1: whole situation, you know, and you're gonna get your No,
- 27:01Speaker 1: I ain't getting my I'm going tomorrow and I'm talking
- 27:04Speaker 1: matter fact, I ain't even call to talk to you.
- 27:06Speaker 1: You put her back on the fall, damn with you

- 27:13Speaker 1: showing up at her job, put her back on the phone,
- 27:16Speaker 1: show up at her job tomorrow. See what happens. You're
- 27:18Speaker 1: gonna mess around and get your to you, the guy
- 27:21Speaker 1: with this white girl. And you know what, Man, you
- 27:23Speaker 1: didn't change. Man, you change on me from the beginning. Dude,

- 27:36Speaker 1: up at her job tomorrow, You're gonna get your You
- 27:39Speaker 1: ain't gonna sit and threaten me. Man, I am with
- 27:41Speaker 1: an you don't work, can't happen now, I'm worth that year.
- 27:45Speaker 1: You're done. You're done, so you can stop calling the

- 29:18Speaker 1: ask him questions and he gets to answer our only request.
- 29:22Speaker 1: This is another question answer short because you waste time
- 29:28Speaker 1: with that. Why do you hate that so much? All right?
- 29:36Speaker 1: Steve does? He does? All right, Steve, here we go.
- 29:42Speaker 1: What's the lame, lamest excuse that you've given to get
- 29:46Speaker 1: off the phone with someone? You got a lot of those,
- 29:51Speaker 1: Come on, Oh the lamest. One of my best words
- 29:57Speaker 1: is that the swimming pool is on by literally women

- 30:39Speaker 1: about this? How do you handle how do you handle
- 30:43Speaker 1: people who won't stop talking? You know, despite playing a
- 30:48Speaker 1: non verbal clue, I ain't got a problem. I just
- 30:51Speaker 1: walk off. I just walk off the well. Do they notice?
- 30:58Speaker 1: They're so busy talking, they don't even notice that. I'll
- 31:01Speaker 1: do it. While I'm looking at him. I give him
- 31:04Speaker 1: one last blink like that, and then I turned and
- 31:07Speaker 1: walk off like that. I've done that a bunch of
- 31:10Speaker 1: time parties, all kinds of stuff. I walked right off.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Here's stupid. My kids was in my office one day,
- 31:19Speaker 1: just talking to me, asking me. Got him walked out
- 31:22Speaker 1: on in the backyard, lit a cigar. Fuck it off?
- 31:30Speaker 1: Come on, all right? Other than a plunger, what is
- 31:33Speaker 1: something that you need to buy long before you need
- 31:35Speaker 1: to use it? In insurance? What is it? Insurance? That's
- 31:42Speaker 1: an insightful answer, right there. Really, that's one of the
- 31:45Speaker 1: most important things you can all right, Jay, Okay, you
- 31:51Speaker 1: just saw a comedian and you this has happened to you?
- 31:54Speaker 1: He or she was hall bull, yell rubo. When I say,

- 32:23Speaker 1: First of all, do not make direct I contact. Okay, Steve,
- 32:28Speaker 1: let me say that they come out stage and they're

- 32:43Speaker 1: I mean did you see it? Well, yeah, I saw it.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I saw it. Let me explain something to you. Why
- 32:49Speaker 1: do you think it was great? Well? I was out there.

- 33:18Speaker 1: You need to reconsider this man, Say what you do?
- 33:20Speaker 1: All right, Steve? Time for today's headline ladies and gentlemen.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Miss Anne Tripp, Good morning everybody. This is answered with
- 33:27Speaker 1: the news. In California, public memorial services are being held
- 33:32Speaker 1: today for our twenty four year old Robert Fuller. Robert Fuller,
- 33:35Speaker 1: the young black man found hanging from a tree in Palmdale,
- 33:38Speaker 1: like suburban Los Angeles on June tenth. That hanging, local
- 33:42Speaker 1: authorities in that mostly white neighborhood claim was a suicide.
- 33:45Speaker 1: A lot of folks so asking questions. Among those demanding
- 33:48Speaker 1: answers Los Angeles Clippers Paul George, who was born and
- 33:51Speaker 1: raised in Palmdale. George is helping the Fuller family by
- 33:54Speaker 1: paying for the funeral services. President Trump retweeted a video
- 33:57Speaker 1: over the weekend showing a Trump supporter pump his fist
- 34:00Speaker 1: and shouting white power, white power. When called on it,
- 34:04Speaker 1: Trump claimed he never heard it. They sent its own
- 34:07Speaker 1: black only black. Republican Tim Scott told CNN yesterday that
- 34:10Speaker 1: the video was offensive and that it should be taken down.
- 34:13Speaker 1: It now has been taken down. Republican lawmakers and Mississippi
- 34:16Speaker 1: have joined with Democrats to remove the Confederate battle emblem
- 34:20Speaker 1: that's the stars and bars from that state's flag and
- 34:23Speaker 1: replaced it with the words in God we trust. Mississippi
- 34:26Speaker 1: has been the only state flag with the stars and
- 34:28Speaker 1: bars on it, and the state's House Minority leader Robert
- 34:31Speaker 1: Johnson tells NPR the change couldn't have come soon enough.
- 34:34Speaker 1: We were told we see that flag, that mean that's
- 34:36Speaker 1: somebody that may hurt you, may set your church on fire,
- 34:40Speaker 1: may kill you, or may have killed somebody you know.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Of course, the change in the flag comes as Confederate
- 34:46Speaker 1: monuments all over the South and being toppled, but not everywhere.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Vice President Pence was scheduled to host on campaign events
- 34:53Speaker 1: over the weekend in Florida and Arizona, but the White
- 34:56Speaker 1: House says he's postponed them because of an uptick in
- 34:58Speaker 1: the number of Corona IRIS cases in the US. The
- 35:01Speaker 1: pushing back on campaign events comes only two days after
- 35:04Speaker 1: Pence strongly defended holding rallies during the pandemic. Auth already
- 35:09Speaker 1: say that the Vice President still plans to travel to
- 35:11Speaker 1: Texas and Florida and Arizona to meet with the governors
- 35:14Speaker 1: and health officials there. Loulia Republican governors. Meanwhile, the number
- 35:17Speaker 1: of worldwide confirmed Corona cases now tops ten million, with
- 35:21Speaker 1: death close to half a million, and the US leads
- 35:25Speaker 1: to count by the country and by country anyway, with
- 35:27Speaker 1: a quarter of all infections and deaths in the US.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Boston Red Sox the organization promising to crack down a
- 35:33Speaker 1: racism at Fenway Park. Now. The former Twins all star
- 35:35Speaker 1: Tory Hunter told ESPN he was called the N word
- 35:38Speaker 1: about one hundred times in that part. And finally, the
- 35:42Speaker 1: Rolling Stones are threatening to sue Donald Trump for using
- 35:44Speaker 1: one of their songs as is walk off campaign music.
- 35:47Speaker 1: They say the legal teams working with the music rights
- 35:49Speaker 1: company BMI to stop unauthorized use of this piece. Always
- 35:53Speaker 1: getting some time, just that you get what you need.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show,
- 36:08Speaker 1: all right, Steve, your nephew is here with things you whisper.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Come on now. You gotta know there are some things
- 36:18Speaker 1: that you just whisper, you know, you know, when you're
- 36:22Speaker 1: in the middle of something is going down and it
- 36:24Speaker 1: ain't going right. That's some things that you just whisper
- 36:27Speaker 1: all the time. You know what what I'm saying. Barely
- 36:32Speaker 1: you hear me. She said, I know a lot of
- 36:35Speaker 1: okay when you whisper it. But there are some things
- 36:41Speaker 1: that you whisper. Okay, Now I'm just gonna ask I'm
- 36:49Speaker 1: just gonna ask you. Shut up, junior. I'm just I'm
- 36:56Speaker 1: just gonna ask you on you Have you have been
- 37:00Speaker 1: in that moment where there's things that you just whisper? Yeah,
- 37:08Speaker 1: that ain't how you said. Okay, what if you have
- 37:11Speaker 1: been I'm not I'm not gonna do this, man, but
- 37:16Speaker 1: tell me the things. Tell me when you've been in
- 37:19Speaker 1: the heat of the moment that you just knew you
- 37:22Speaker 1: needed to whisp. All of mine ain't been in the
- 37:31Speaker 1: heat of the moment. Mine has been other time, Like
- 37:36Speaker 1: what like here on your pants are God, that's a
- 37:44Speaker 1: good whisper. That's a good question. That's a good quiesper.
- 37:48Speaker 1: That's a good question. What else? What else? Tommy? My
- 37:55Speaker 1: wife just walked in. God? Yeah you think you dloor? Yeah?
- 38:07Speaker 1: You on the dam just having a good time. Yeah, y'all. Yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 1: you're at the Saucer club with your boy. The girl
- 38:13Speaker 1: tripped and showed up at the same club you at.
- 38:18Speaker 1: That's good, y'all got huh, Okay, things you need to whisper.
- 38:26Speaker 1: He ain't your daddy. We're talking about Malcolm. Malcolm. Yeah, Malcolm,
- 38:40Speaker 1: my daddy, I got one for you. The police sitting here?
- 38:47Speaker 1: What what did you say? What's your police sitting here?

- 39:07Speaker 1: I think we get the point. Uh coming up? Yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 1: all right, more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey

- 52:09Speaker 1: He's handsome and so is she? All right, Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 52:14Speaker 1: I am a fifty five year old mother of three
- 52:16Speaker 1: handsome boys. My youngest son is getting married, but I
- 52:20Speaker 1: have an issue with his fiance and I feel very
- 52:23Speaker 1: guilty about it. I hate to be rude, but the
- 52:26Speaker 1: girl he is marrying is she's just not that attractive
- 52:31Speaker 1: at all. I know it's none of my business because
- 52:34Speaker 1: he's the one that has to live with her. But
- 52:36Speaker 1: my son is very handsome and I feel like he
- 52:39Speaker 1: could do a lot better. His fiance is a sweet girl,
- 52:43Speaker 1: and she seems to really love him, but she's just
- 52:46Speaker 1: not a pretty girl. At their engagement party, one of
- 52:49Speaker 1: my best girlfriends pull me aside and ask why my
- 52:52Speaker 1: future daughter in law did not put on any makeup
- 52:54Speaker 1: before the party. I had to tell my girlfriend to
- 52:57Speaker 1: look again closely because the girl did have her makeup
- 53:00Speaker 1: done by a professional makeup artist. My girlfriend was embarrassed
- 53:04Speaker 1: for even bringing it up. My older sons have nicknamed
- 53:07Speaker 1: the Beyonce d a m n because that is the
- 53:13Speaker 1: that was their initial impression when they met her. Even, yeah,
- 53:20Speaker 1: even my seventy seven year old mother said she must
- 53:23Speaker 1: really be good to him because she ain't hitten on
- 53:25Speaker 1: much in the looks department. Wow, my son has dated beautiful,
- 53:29Speaker 1: successful girls in the past, but now he's had over
- 53:32Speaker 1: heels for this young lady. I can't help but think
- 53:35Speaker 1: what their grandchildren will look like. What if they take
- 53:38Speaker 1: after her? My husband said, I'm going straight to hell
- 53:41Speaker 1: for my thoughts, but I'm just thinking about my grandkids.
- 53:44Speaker 1: I hope I'm not being too evil, but Lord forgive me.
- 53:47Speaker 1: She's not pretty enough for my son. Is it wrong
- 53:50Speaker 1: to take looks into account when accepting your child significant other?
- 53:54Speaker 1: Should I tell him my concerns? Well, I mean, you're
- 53:57Speaker 1: a mom, and this is what moms do, you know.
- 54:00Speaker 1: I mean, this is really just what they do. You know.
- 54:03Speaker 1: You said she's a good girl, you said she's a
- 54:05Speaker 1: nice girl. She's just not a pretty girl, you know.
- 54:09Speaker 1: But this is who your son wants, This is who
- 54:12Speaker 1: he wants to marry. She must be pretty to him
- 54:15Speaker 1: or have something that he wants. And maybe to him,
- 54:18Speaker 1: it's just not all about looks. He's found, you know,
- 54:21Speaker 1: the woman of his dreams and who makes his heart flutter,
- 54:24Speaker 1: and that's who he wants to marry. And the heart
- 54:27Speaker 1: loves who the heart loves. Okay, it just does. I mean,
- 54:32Speaker 1: you got to stay out of this. You've said way
- 54:36Speaker 1: more than enough already. Your other sons put their two
- 54:39Speaker 1: cents in it, your mother, his grandmother, put her two
- 54:42Speaker 1: cents in it. I mean, you've got to make this
- 54:44Speaker 1: young lady feel welcomed into the family. And yeah, you
- 54:49Speaker 1: are putting a lot on looks. I mean, I get
- 54:51Speaker 1: you want cute grandkids. Who doesn't, but you know it's
- 54:55Speaker 1: just not always all about looks, all right. I mean
- 54:58Speaker 1: you've said your piece. Let it be be happy for
- 55:01Speaker 1: him and uh and for their happy marriage. Steve, I
- 55:06Speaker 1: got it. I know what's wrong. I got. I got it.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Took me a minute to balance so how many minutes
- 55:12Speaker 1: I got here? I got it. Took me a minute
- 55:16Speaker 1: to balance myself. But I finally figured out what was
- 55:18Speaker 1: wrong in this letter, this fifty five year old mother
- 55:21Speaker 1: of three handsome boys. What mama don't think their kids?
- 55:25Speaker 1: Is all right, let's start there. My youngest son is
- 55:28Speaker 1: getting married. But I got an issue with his fiance,
- 55:31Speaker 1: and you're guilty about it. I don't hate to be rude,
- 55:34Speaker 1: but the girl he's man is not just that attractive
- 55:37Speaker 1: at all. Many, but the girl he's married, it's just
- 55:41Speaker 1: not that attractive all. I know, it's none of my business. Bam.
- 55:47Speaker 1: We could have stopped the letter right there, but you
- 55:49Speaker 1: kept typing. I know it's none of my business. Yes,
- 55:55Speaker 1: because he's the one that's got to live with her. Yes,
- 55:59Speaker 1: but my son is very handsome, and I feel like
- 56:02Speaker 1: he could do a lot better. I want you to
- 56:04Speaker 1: count the times in this letter. You can count the
- 56:08Speaker 1: times in this letter, and I'll help you out about
- 56:12Speaker 1: how pretty her sons and all her sons is. You know,
- 56:16Speaker 1: first of all, she the mother three handsome boy Like
- 56:18Speaker 1: I said, what Mama, don't think the baby's in them now?
- 56:21Speaker 1: That ain't none to help business, because that's the one
- 56:23Speaker 1: she got to live with. But the girl he managed
- 56:25Speaker 1: just not that attractive all. But my son is very handsome.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Dad is again, and I feel like he could do
- 56:31Speaker 1: a lot better. Well, you don't know that, though. See
- 56:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what I do know. We as
- 56:37Speaker 1: men married the baddest chick we can get. Now, you
- 56:42Speaker 1: look pretty as son might not have no game, so
- 56:46Speaker 1: maybe you don't understand something. But maybe this is the
- 56:49Speaker 1: best he can do. But I got news for you.
- 56:52Speaker 1: This girl ain't that unattractive. I'm gonna tell you why
- 56:55Speaker 1: watch this hill. His fiance is a sweet girl and
- 57:00Speaker 1: she seems to really love him. Oh, I guess that
- 57:02Speaker 1: don't matter to you no more. Okay, so he can
- 57:05Speaker 1: get a little pretty thing to walk all over. Okay,
- 57:08Speaker 1: but she's just not a pretty girl. That's you again.
- 57:12Speaker 1: At the engagement partly, one of my best girlfriends, you know,
- 57:14Speaker 1: birds of a fleather fox to flock together. One of
- 57:17Speaker 1: my best girlfriends pulled me aside and ask me why
- 57:20Speaker 1: my future daughter in law did not put on makeup
- 57:22Speaker 1: before the party? Right there? Hell? Fuck? You know good
- 57:26Speaker 1: in hell? Well, and then I had to tell my
- 57:30Speaker 1: girlfriend to look again closely because the girl did have
- 57:33Speaker 1: a makeup done by a professional makeup artist. Bam, your
- 57:37Speaker 1: girl knew that women know when women got on makeup. Man,
- 57:42Speaker 1: come on, your girlfriend, messy, just like you, the mom,
- 57:47Speaker 1: the grandmother, Yeah, oh, it ain't over with you. Though.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Then my girlfriend wasn't bass for even bringing it up. Nauseate.
- 57:55Speaker 1: My oldest sons have nicknamed the fiance damn because that
- 57:59Speaker 1: was the first initial pressure when they met hers. You talk,
- 58:03Speaker 1: you talk about them three yuglass boys you got because
- 58:06Speaker 1: see this one, I'm starting to under day them three
- 58:09Speaker 1: ugly asss boys. Obviously thanks, they're a lot cuter than
- 58:13Speaker 1: they actually all. That's what I think it's going on
- 58:16Speaker 1: in here. A matter of fact, leave us with something.
- 58:20Speaker 1: The fifty five year old lady and her three sons
- 58:22Speaker 1: and her husband and grandmama, all their uggly first two
- 58:28Speaker 1: res fun coming up at twenty three after the hour,
- 58:31Speaker 1: right after this subject. He's handsome, and so is she.
- 58:35Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letters. Yeah,
- 58:42Speaker 1: recap it. He's handsome, so is she is. See here
- 58:44Speaker 1: going to problem is we got an ugly ass family
- 58:48Speaker 1: that's been round each other their whole life, and they
- 58:50Speaker 1: never called each other ugly. See that's all this is
- 58:54Speaker 1: fifty five year old mother, three handsome boys. Everybody think
- 58:58Speaker 1: they're baby handsome, my youngest getting married. The issue with
- 59:01Speaker 1: the fiance feeling guilty. Hate to be rude, but the
- 59:04Speaker 1: girl is just not that attractive at all. Excuse me,
- 59:09Speaker 1: me and married the best chick they can get. So
- 59:12Speaker 1: this is obviously the best chick your son could get.
- 59:14Speaker 1: I know it ain't none of my business. That's why
- 59:16Speaker 1: you shouldn't wrote through the letter. But he's the one
- 59:18Speaker 1: that's got to live with him. Yes he is. Have
- 59:20Speaker 1: you ever thought that this girl treats him right? But
- 59:22Speaker 1: my son is very handsome. You keep saying that my
- 59:25Speaker 1: dad always told me if somebody always got to tell
- 59:27Speaker 1: you something about theirselves, and probably ain't true. That it's
- 59:30Speaker 1: the third time you to mention them uglass balls, and
- 59:32Speaker 1: you instead there trying to make ass like they all
- 59:34Speaker 1: had a handsome you had them uglass kids. And now
- 59:37Speaker 1: you're sitting up in there trying to destroy this other
- 59:39Speaker 1: girl because ain't nobody told you y'all ugly? Well, I'm
- 59:42Speaker 1: glad you wrote in with your uglass So now here
- 59:44Speaker 1: we go. At the engagement partly, one of my best
- 59:48Speaker 1: friends pulled me to the side and ask me why
- 59:50Speaker 1: my future and daughter law did not put makeup on. See,
- 59:53Speaker 1: messy people hang with messy people. You messy your girlfriend messy.
- 59:57Speaker 1: I had to tell my girlfriend to look again because

- 1:00:01Speaker 1: My girlfriend wasn't bass for even bringing it up. No,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: she didn't. She bought it up to be messy. Other
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: why did she keep that to herself? Why would she

- 1:00:20Speaker 1: ever think that they said the same thing about you
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: when you got married? Maybe your husband's mama said the
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: same thing about you. Now you got tea through u

- 1:00:39Speaker 1: this letter, I wish you to send a photo of
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: the love lass boys at yours and then your Your

- 1:00:49Speaker 1: call her damn because everybody looked at them that went
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: damn you. I'm the three mus contends damn. Even my
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: seventy seven year old mamma said she must be really
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: good too, because she ain't hitting no much of a
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: looking problem the whole This is generational, Yeah, this is generation.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: My son has dated beautiful, successful girls in the past,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: but now he's head over heels for this young lady. Well,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: let me just look at this. Let's suppose that's a
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: true state. The reason he dated beautiful successful girl, then
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: pretty beautiful successful girls. They know how to treat him.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: He want to get treated, right, I got another news
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: for you. What most boys married girls to remind them
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: of their mom. Hey, you down, You need to go somewhere, sir.

- 1:01:59Speaker 1: But think about what they guarant grant, what they children
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: would look like, what if they take after her? Well,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: what if they take out to y'all? So so basically
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: you're saying she just can't send blanket statements like that
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: without pictures. Not to me. H. My husband saying, I'm
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: going straight to hell for my thoughts. But I'm just
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: thinking about my grandkids. I hope I'm not being too evil?
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Not you just like your girlfriend? Oh, man, girl, I
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: feel so in bad bringing itself. That's why you're bringing up.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I hope I'm not being too evil? How can you
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: not be? What is too evil? Oh? You just want
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: to be a little evil? Then then she throw this in,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: but Lord forgive me girl? Bye? What is she? What
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: did they say? You said it, Yeah, you said a girl,

- 1:08:01Speaker 1: More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: it's time for comedy Roulette, Jake, now quickly. It's very similar. Yeah,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: you guys test our ability to be comedians. Give us
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: five subjects. Anything you want. Let the wheels stop. We

- 1:09:03Speaker 1: I like movies, Steve whoa, Okay, okay, that's a good one.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: When to shut up? When to shut up? I tell
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: you when you shut up. The minute you look in
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: your review mirror and you see that blue light, it
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: is time. And I don't want time for you to
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: shut up. You make an announcement of everybody in the
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: damn car to shut the hell all right. We don't
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: let that. There's gonna be one person talking, all right,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: and the sober is one if they gotta lean from
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: the back and talk. The rest have been told to
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: shut the hell up. In that same lane, yes, that
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: same lake, in the neighborhood, when you see somebody running
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: from the law, when the law look at us, we
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: don't know nothing. I had one friend on points and
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: he went that way. What did you tell her? Go down? Already?
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: He knows us. Now you're sitting the laws the same
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: way down with you kind of pointed the other way
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: that way he seeing us? Who you think he looking? Fuck?
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: You didn't see nothing. Shut the hell up? Got it?
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Zip it? Well I'm going another role. Let me just
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: do two quickness, fellas. If you know it's time to
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: shut up when you're feeling guilty and you want to confess,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: stop that dog, I don't know what this moment you have,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: pard We're not going Yeah, let me When my first marriage,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: I went out one night, me and my pardon that
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: you know, you know I just told told me, asked
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: where if I was going out right, I'm over the hum.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: A couple of days later, my pardner reged I went
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: to club with This is what he said. Hey, man,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: hell your wife about the club we went. You're looking
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: at it like what I just just something? You just
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: go what what are you talking about? Wrong with you? Man?
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Hell my wife about the club we went to? Shut up?
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: I never supposed to. I'll tell you another time to
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: shut up. And it's a trick too when your mama
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: say say something. But then, did you hear me? What
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: are I'm supposed to do? Yeah, I'm gonna answer y'all
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: just supposed to be quiet. I'm just gonna take my chance.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Shut yt play something, say something else? Yet one you
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: got one? You got one? Time to go. When you
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: on the phone with a woman and you hear her
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: husband say, who the hell are you talking to? Man?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Better shut your mind, hang up and block that note
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: to shut up? Not doing you as as as far
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: as my mama, when my mom will say, I guess
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I'm lying, then shut up? Shut up? Got shut up?
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: All right? All right, you guys did again. Always that's
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: what we do. That's what we do. All right, more
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: here's something we can all come in on or think about.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: If you could be the best player in any sport,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: what sport would that be? We all know the NFL
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: is the most popular sport football, of course, that's the
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: most popular sport in the land. But the players are
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: mostly unseen because they wear helmets. Okay, and they get
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: hit a lot. Uh, it's not ideal. NBA players have
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: a good gig, but playing basketball still involves a lot
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: of running around, you know, a lot of running. So, guys,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: if you were to be the best player in any sport,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: what would that be, Steve gonna be basketball? Damn what
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: that survey said. You'd run around that? Damn running around?
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: What you want to do? What'sport? I want to be
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: No damn baseball player, get out there, nine you out
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: there every third inn? It won't be out there for that.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: What about you, junior? Want to be? No damn hockey.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Don't run my ass up in the wall. Were fighting.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Some teeth will be knocked out. Play no dry ass
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: soccer one to nothing, been out hit ninety minutes running
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: them down. I ain't even kick the damn ball. The
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: men just get this ball in this net rest, but
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: you can't throw it in there? What about you, junior?
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Coming on basketball and the ladies that come within it? Okay,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: all right, okay, what me honestly about sumo wrestling? You
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: know at least you nick hand quarter? All right? All right?
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Coming up, more fun, more music, more ignorant on the
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back right after this.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: your nephew is here with things you whisper. Come on now,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you gotta know there are some things that you just whistle.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: You know, you know, when you're in the middle of
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: something is going down and it ain't going right. That's
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: some things that you just whisper all the time. You
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. You hear me. I know a
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: lot of okay when you whisper it, but there are
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: some things that you whisper. Okay, Now I'm just gonna
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: ask I'm just gonna ask you. Shut up, junior. I'm
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: just thinking. I'm just gonna ask you, though. Have you
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: ever been in that moment where there's things that you
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: just whisper? Yeah, that ain't how you said. Okay, what
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: if you have been I'm not I'm not gonna do
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: this then, but tell me the things. Tell me when
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: you've been in the heat of the moment that you
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: just knew you needed to whisper help. Well, all of
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: mine ain't been in the heat of the moment. Mine
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: has been other times like what like, here's one your
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: pants on? God, that's a good whisper. That's a good question.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: That's a good question. One. Yeah, that's a good ques.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: What else? What else? Tommy? My wife just walked him? God, yeah,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: you didn't you on the dance floor? Yeah, you're just
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: having a good time. Yeah, y'all. Yeah, you're at the
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Saucer club with your boy. The girl tripped and showed
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: up at the same club you at. That's good, y'all.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Go huh, come on, okay, thank you need to whisper
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: chel daddy? What time about Malcolm? Malcolm? Yeah, Malcolm, my daddy,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I got one for you. Come on the police in Hill?
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: What what did you say? What's lee in Hill? Which
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: one ignorant boy? All right, thank your nephew. I think
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: we get the point. All right, we'll be back with
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: the clothes. Uh. Today it's been a good day. Um.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: We'll be back to closing our show with Steve's closing
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: remarks coming up at forty nine after the hour. Right
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show a right Steve. Here
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: we are last break of the day, and of course
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: it is time for you to leave us with some
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: closing remarks. I want to give you some encouragement on
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: your road to success. I've often said a million times
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: that the road to success is always under construction, that
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: you can expect the pitfalls, to set backs, the detools,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: the working men at work, so forth, and so on. Well,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: what I want to remind you of is that you
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: can win if you can fight through the clutter. And
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: one of the best ways that I can give you
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: to fight through the clutter you have to have a
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: relationship with God. I mean, it's just really the best
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: way to fight through the clutter because you really don't
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: know how exactly to become successful. You really don't know
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: it exactly how I mean. And the reason I know
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: you don't know exactly how it is because you've probably
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: aimed for something that in order to achieve it you
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: really do need God's help. So it's nothing wrong when
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: you don't know exactly how you're going to make it,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: because what that means is you have aspired to something
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: so great that in order for it to happen, you
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: absolutely have to have God's help. That's where you want
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: to be. You want to be on a mission that
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: keeps you awake at night. You want to be on
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: a mission man that makes you wake up early. You
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: want to be on a mission that requires you to
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: pray constantly. You want to be on a mission man
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: where you seek the advice and help of other people
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: that's in a higher position. You want to be on
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: a mission where not achieving it becomes absolutely unacceptable. But
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: to get there, you gotta fight through the clutter. And
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: the biggest form of clutter in your mind is the
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: actual figuring it out. Can you remember back on how
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: many times you've tried to figure something out your life?
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Your next move, who to call, who to talk to,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: whether to try to sell him, how to sell him,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: what to buy, how to buy? If you go back
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: over all your life of you figuring out my next move?
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Should I go to school? Should I not go to school?
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: Should I get a degree in this? Should I not
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: get a degree in this? Should I apply for that job?
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: But this job? Should I go over here because they
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: pay a little bit more, but just one has better stability?
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I don't know, But you've constantly been trying to work
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: that out. That's exhausting and it keeps your mind cluttered.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: I was reading in my daily meditation, how when you
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: clutter your mind up with the how to you remove
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: God's presence in your life? Because he's always hovering and
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: standing close by to come in and comfort you and
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: be beside you and help you make these decisions. But
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: if you never invite him in, if you never invite
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: him to make the decisions, if you never allow his
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: presence to come and calm you down. Man, Sometimes you
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: just need calming. You know, when you could deal with
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: a lot of this stuff that you're going through a
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: lot better if you will have just a calming effect.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Of the calming effect, that's the peace you get when
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: you form a relationship with God. God calms you down
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: because you know he got your back, you know he's
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: in control. He know he got your best interests at heart,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: you know that he's behind the scenes working on your behalf.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: When you have that type of relationship, it cools you out.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: You can chill. You can't do anything about tomorrow, so
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: worrying about it doesn't affect it. Now. I'm not saying
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: and sitting here that you're not supposed to plan, that
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: you're not supposed to have and aspirations, because you do.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: But in all my dreams of aspirations, all the things
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I want, I've had to learn to be flexible because
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: what I want and what God has for me is
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: oftentimes two different things. But can I share something with
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: the thing that God has for you is way better
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: than anything anything you could possibly plan. You can't figure
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: it the way he does. His thoughts is way up there. Man,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: His ways is way up there. You can't outfigure God.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: God can take a very very dismal situation, folks, and
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: turn it into pure gold for you. When they are
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: lining themselves against you, If God is with you, who
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: can be against you? So let them line up. If
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: you know you got a relationship with God, and you
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: know you're not over there by yourself, why would you
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: be afraid of someone lining up against you? Let them
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: line up. You're talking to somebody who knows it's all
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: too well. They have lined up against me in numbers,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: but guess what, they can't do nothing to me. God
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: don't a lie, And even if you do do it,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: it doesn't mean it has the effect of the desired
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: effect on me that you wanted to. And so that's
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: the same thing with you. Because of this relationship with God,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: you don't have to be in and react to every
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: time somebody don't like a picture, or make a bad
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: comment or put a false falsehood out there about you.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: You don't have to react to all of that because
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: you have peace in the relationship with God. You got
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: to form this relationship, y'all. You have to. It's imperative
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: to who you are and The thing about forming relationship.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: You don't have to clear with nobody. But you ain't
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: got to even tell nobody you're doing it. You can
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: show them a different you. You don't have to make
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: an admission. I'm talking to God every day, trying to
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: become a better person. You ain't gonna tell nobody that.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Just do it. Just do it. That's all you've got
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: to do. All right, those are my closing remarks. All right,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: drop it, it's drop thank you, sir? Yeah, needed that.
