- 1:43Speaker 1: to turn out to turn the water the water? Comey,
- 1:57Speaker 1: come on your things at it? Ah it y'are listening
- 2:04Speaker 1: to the voice. Come on, didn't na wanted only Steve
- 2:08Speaker 1: Hardy got a radio show. I was talking with my
- 2:11Speaker 1: wife and she said something her father always used to
- 2:14Speaker 1: tell her. Uh Pop Bridges used to tell all the time,
- 2:19Speaker 1: just because you can do something don't mean you should
- 2:21Speaker 1: do it. You know, I can't tell you how many
- 2:24Speaker 1: times I've had to learn that in my life. You know,
- 2:26Speaker 1: just because you can do something does not necessarily mean
- 2:31Speaker 1: you should do it. You know, I could tell people
- 2:35Speaker 1: off oftentimes, but it don't mean I should do it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: You know. I could go here and set the record
- 2:43Speaker 1: straight a lot of times, but it don't mean I
- 2:46Speaker 1: should do it. Well, I've learned a lot in that
- 2:49Speaker 1: lesson folks, and because I have a relationship with my creator.
- 2:56Speaker 1: What it's done is it's allowed me h to learn
- 3:00Speaker 1: even more how to stay still on a lot of
- 3:03Speaker 1: issues that's troubling me. It's taught me over the years.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I've learned it the hard way. I do want you
- 3:09Speaker 1: to understand that that sometimes it's better to be still.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Sometimes it's better to just let God handle a situation.
- 3:16Speaker 1: That's hard to say, and I know it's hard to
- 3:19Speaker 1: say because we think as people. But if I do this,
- 3:23Speaker 1: I would feel better. If I do this, they would
- 3:27Speaker 1: know it's coming from me. If I do this, now
- 3:30Speaker 1: there feel how I feel. See. But that's not always
- 3:34Speaker 1: the best way though, I found in my life. See,
- 3:37Speaker 1: sometimes you gotta like old people used to say, you
- 3:40Speaker 1: gotta let go and let God. Sometimes you gotta do that.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something, man, I learned a lot
- 3:45Speaker 1: from my mother being a Sunday school teacher. But you know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: at the same time, when she was when I was young,
- 3:49Speaker 1: I thought she was just an old, old person just
- 3:51Speaker 1: talking to me. I didn't get it. You know how
- 3:53Speaker 1: you talk to you know how your parents used to
- 3:55Speaker 1: talk to you, and you didn't get it. And they
- 3:57Speaker 1: used to always say, well wait till you have your
- 3:59Speaker 1: own kids, you it it then, and showing off you
- 4:01Speaker 1: got it then, Well I'm the same way. I'm no
- 4:03Speaker 1: different you know. I don't have no different life than you.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You know, I have no different upbringing in you. I
- 4:08Speaker 1: don't have no different different ways that I can live
- 4:11Speaker 1: and you can't. You know that I gotta live by
- 4:13Speaker 1: the same laws of the land that you gotta live by.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I gotta obey the principles of success. If I want
- 4:18Speaker 1: to be successful, I got a bam and you know,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and if I want to go to heaven, I go.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I gotta do what God tell me to do as
- 4:25Speaker 1: many times as I can. Now, you ain't gonna get
- 4:27Speaker 1: it all right, but he understand that, and I just
- 4:30Speaker 1: get on with the best I can. But so many times, man,
- 4:33Speaker 1: we get stuck. We get stuck right there, man, worrying
- 4:38Speaker 1: about you know, how how it's gonna come across and
- 4:41Speaker 1: and what you know, you know, kind of going around
- 4:45Speaker 1: here because I'm trying to find a way to tell
- 4:47Speaker 1: you this that that that you won't get twisted. Hit
- 4:51Speaker 1: the bottom line, you gotta let go and let God
- 4:54Speaker 1: you have to allow him to do it his way.
- 4:57Speaker 1: See my way, I thought myself to a certain point.
- 5:01Speaker 1: But to go further, I had to let God have it.
- 5:04Speaker 1: You know. I found out I wasn't all that good
- 5:06Speaker 1: a driver. I found out I wouldn't all that good
- 5:09Speaker 1: of all explore with a map. I found out my
- 5:13Speaker 1: comper skills was oftentimes a little bit off. I found
- 5:17Speaker 1: out that my map reading skills wasn't what I thought
- 5:19Speaker 1: it was. So I had to let go. I had
- 5:22Speaker 1: to let God. And you gotta understand that God works
- 5:25Speaker 1: in mysterious ways, you know. And right how often had
- 5:28Speaker 1: I thought it was over for me? But what God
- 5:32Speaker 1: was doing was he was teaching me a lesson. He
- 5:35Speaker 1: was showing me something that I needed to know. He
- 5:37Speaker 1: was allowing me to experience some things. But he didn't
- 5:40Speaker 1: let me go under. You know how they say God
- 5:42Speaker 1: had never put more on you than you can bail.
- 5:45Speaker 1: He won't let you go under. And but he did
- 5:47Speaker 1: not say you know, it's like the scripture that Bishop
- 5:50Speaker 1: Olmer taught me when I was going through that traumatic
- 5:53Speaker 1: thing on the internet. Man, it was really really mad
- 5:55Speaker 1: trying to destroy what I had worked for and my
- 5:58Speaker 1: family and this new life to God had presented me.
- 6:01Speaker 1: And the devil is busy. The devil don't like to
- 6:02Speaker 1: see you happy. So here he comes. He puts you
- 6:05Speaker 1: under attack, and here comes internet and everything. And my
- 6:08Speaker 1: kids are suffering. But you know, here here comes God.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Though see, God don't put more on you than than
- 6:14Speaker 1: you can. Bad Bishop Olmer sent me a scripture. He
- 6:17Speaker 1: sent me Isaiah forty three one and two. And then
- 6:20Speaker 1: that scripture it says to the effect that you can
- 6:23Speaker 1: walk through the water the rivers, and the water won't
- 6:27Speaker 1: overcome you. But then it said you can walk through
- 6:30Speaker 1: the fire and you will not get burned, nor will
- 6:35Speaker 1: kindling set upon your clothes. I learned something very valuable
- 6:39Speaker 1: that day. See God sent me through something, but he
- 6:43Speaker 1: was showing me something too. Now he didn't do it. See,
- 6:46Speaker 1: God didn't bring that calamity into my life, because in
- 6:50Speaker 1: Isaiah fifty four seventeen it says clearly that if anyone
- 6:54Speaker 1: comes against you, it will not be my doing. But
- 6:58Speaker 1: he now, this is what he promised you when people
- 7:00Speaker 1: come for you, though, see, and this is what I learned.
- 7:03Speaker 1: That's why I have no fear of the people coming anymore. See,
- 7:06Speaker 1: because I learned that, but God had to send me
- 7:08Speaker 1: through a traumatic experience in order for me to learn that. See,
- 7:12Speaker 1: you can't have a testimony without a test you know, understand,
- 7:16Speaker 1: you can't learn nothing without a lesson. See. So what
- 7:19Speaker 1: he did was he allowed that internet thing come cross
- 7:21Speaker 1: cross into my life. But he taught me something. And
- 7:24Speaker 1: Isaiah forty three one and two was and you can
- 7:27Speaker 1: walk through the fire and not get burned, normal kindling
- 7:30Speaker 1: set upon your clothing. So what that said to me was,
- 7:33Speaker 1: even though you're trying to do me and it's fire
- 7:36Speaker 1: all around me, I won't burn. But when it's over,
- 7:40Speaker 1: kindling won't set upon your clothing. What that showed me
- 7:42Speaker 1: was and what it taught me was not only would
- 7:45Speaker 1: I walk through the fine not get burned, but there
- 7:47Speaker 1: will be no signs that I was ever in the fire.
- 7:51Speaker 1: There's no signs of it. But now hold up, though,
- 7:54Speaker 1: now he go to part though that I had to
- 7:56Speaker 1: learn even though you can walk through the fire, y'all,
- 7:59Speaker 1: and even though you're being flames and scorching all around you,
- 8:02Speaker 1: if you trust him, he ain't gonna let you burn.
- 8:04Speaker 1: But now hear what he did not say. Though he
- 8:07Speaker 1: did not say that it was not going to be
- 8:11Speaker 1: uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot in there. He didn't say that.
- 8:16Speaker 1: He just said you won't burn. And when it's over,
- 8:19Speaker 1: it won't be no killing on your car. It won't
- 8:21Speaker 1: be no signs that you was in the fire. See
- 8:23Speaker 1: what happened to me was after they tried to destroy me.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Let me show you what God did from it. Not
- 8:28Speaker 1: only did I not, not only did they not accomplish
- 8:30Speaker 1: what they set out to do, but when they was
- 8:33Speaker 1: through with me though, when they was through throwing the
- 8:36Speaker 1: gas and throwing the fine, throwing their hate and writing
- 8:39Speaker 1: it in line and creating all these names for themselves
- 8:43Speaker 1: so it could look like more people was hating when
- 8:45Speaker 1: they got through with all that, Look at me, man,
- 8:49Speaker 1: Look what he did to me. Look what he did
- 8:52Speaker 1: from me, because he taught me something that day. And
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm sharing it with you because God will do the
- 8:57Speaker 1: same thing for you. But you gotta steam though, You
- 9:01Speaker 1: got to get in there, and you got to let
- 9:02Speaker 1: him do it. You gotta let him handle it. So,
- 9:04Speaker 1: just like Pop Bridges taught my wife, Margie, just because
- 9:08Speaker 1: you can do something don't mean you all to do something. Yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you could go down there and straight in the mouth.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But should you though? Yeah, you can go down there
- 9:14Speaker 1: and tell them all. Yeah, you can go down, stand
- 9:16Speaker 1: up and make sure they know it's your voice that
- 9:18Speaker 1: they're here, and you can get in their face and
- 9:20Speaker 1: make a scene. But should you though, or should you
- 9:23Speaker 1: let go and let God see? So before we run
- 9:28Speaker 1: all out in the streets and somebody that that that
- 9:33Speaker 1: that we forming these groups and somebody go out there
- 9:35Speaker 1: and do something crazy, let's hold tight. Now I'm not
- 9:37Speaker 1: saying don't go out there, but you gotta watch who
- 9:40Speaker 1: you go out there with, because somebody crazy you could be.
- 9:43Speaker 1: You can go down there with peace and your heart.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Somebody this side, I'm gonna throw a brick through here
- 9:46Speaker 1: and bust a wonder. Hold up partner, hold up thing
- 9:49Speaker 1: and what we're down here doing. So See, sometimes man,
- 9:51Speaker 1: you gotta let go, and you gotta let God. You
- 9:53Speaker 1: gotta let God have a situation sometimes and you get
- 9:56Speaker 1: it in and do the things that he tells you
- 9:58Speaker 1: to do. See. Bishop On would have taught me a lot.
- 10:00Speaker 1: He had another book out and he said, you know,
- 10:03Speaker 1: knowing God's Voice or something like that. I'm not sure
- 10:05Speaker 1: the title, but I never really knew the definition of
- 10:09Speaker 1: how do you know as God's voice talking to you, Well,
- 10:12Speaker 1: he clearly made a statement. God's voice has no sin
- 10:16Speaker 1: in it. See anything you're talking about. Whenever you're talking about,
- 10:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna go I'm gonna show him. I'm gonna get
- 10:22Speaker 1: him back. I'm gonna write a letter and I'm gonna
- 10:25Speaker 1: tell him down at his job. If it's sin in it,
- 10:28Speaker 1: God ain't in it. See thats you now, God's voice
- 10:32Speaker 1: has no sin in it. So when you say God
- 10:35Speaker 1: told me be careful, because God ain't never told you
- 10:39Speaker 1: to go do nothing wrong, that ain't what he told you.
- 10:42Speaker 1: And I learned that too. It's a lot, so I'm
- 10:45Speaker 1: just sharing the day. I hope it helps somebody today
- 10:48Speaker 1: get through a difficult time because the show has helped me.
- 10:50Speaker 1: And I'm just talking to myself now because i got
- 10:52Speaker 1: another one I'm looking at. I'm dealing with it though.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'm all good. Please you. Good morning, everybody. It is

- 22:52Speaker 1: it one more time, I saying, I'm me and my
- 22:57Speaker 1: ju You're not Last year the church bought me this
- 23:04Speaker 1: glove that I may have healing power writing right there,
- 23:10Speaker 1: Me and my Jesus here. Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 23:15Speaker 1: your sister. How you doing. I'm giving you a call
- 23:20Speaker 1: on behalf of Baptist Church. You are a member there?
- 23:24Speaker 1: Am I right? Am? Okay, listen um, I'm calling you.
- 23:29Speaker 1: They some of the members have gotten together and had
- 23:32Speaker 1: a meeting and wanted me to give you a call.
- 23:36Speaker 1: It seems that a lot of them are complaining about
- 23:41Speaker 1: Sunday services that go on and wanted for me to
- 23:44Speaker 1: give you a call on their behalf so that we
- 23:47Speaker 1: can see if we can address the problem and talk
- 23:49Speaker 1: to you diligently as possible and try to get the
- 23:52Speaker 1: problem rectified. What's going on? Well, it seems like that
- 23:58Speaker 1: a lot of members are complaining. I'm sorry, and what
- 24:02Speaker 1: is your name again? My name is Mah. I'm not
- 24:06Speaker 1: actually a member of the church. I've just been the
- 24:08Speaker 1: one that they've been asked to give you a call
- 24:10Speaker 1: and try to talk on the members behalf. So maybe
- 24:12Speaker 1: we can get this problem, rectify that you that they
- 24:16Speaker 1: have Uh as far as you are concerned, Okay, go ahead.
- 24:19Speaker 1: What I'm just trying to see what this is in
- 24:20Speaker 1: regards to go ahead, Well, it seems like the members
- 24:24Speaker 1: of the church are complaining about that you're doing too
- 24:27Speaker 1: much shouting at church on Sunday, and it seems to
- 24:31Speaker 1: be going on every Sunday. You're running up and down
- 24:33Speaker 1: the aisle and you're shouting all over the place. And
- 24:36Speaker 1: it's me. I've been singled out about my shouting. Wellever
- 24:42Speaker 1: Dindy is distracting, man, You're distracting everyone from me getting
- 24:45Speaker 1: the word and listen to the word and being involved
- 24:47Speaker 1: in the service. And that's the purpose of the call
- 24:50Speaker 1: is to see if we can get you to tone
- 24:52Speaker 1: it down something. Okay, So the whole church is complaining
- 24:55Speaker 1: about me shouting the way people run up and down
- 24:58Speaker 1: them out every Sunday and almost playing cart wheels and
- 25:01Speaker 1: flips and they're singling me. I complained about me. Well, ma'am,
- 25:05Speaker 1: I don't know how it is that you can see
- 25:07Speaker 1: everybody else doing cart wheels when you're the ones that
- 25:10Speaker 1: they say is the one that's doing them. Am I
- 25:13Speaker 1: being singled out? Man? All I'm saying is that they're
- 25:16Speaker 1: saying that you're doing too much shouting and too much
- 25:18Speaker 1: running at this church. Now I'm just the message, Okay.
- 25:21Speaker 1: What they can't tell me how to shout? They don't.
- 25:23Speaker 1: They can't tell me what's going on in my life?
- 25:25Speaker 1: What's gonna keep me from praising God? And they I mean,
- 25:28Speaker 1: they could just they could go somewhere else with that,
- 25:31Speaker 1: But they're not gonna tell me that I can't praise
- 25:33Speaker 1: my God. They don't know how good God has been
- 25:35Speaker 1: to me. And you know what, I understand that I
- 25:38Speaker 1: agree with you wholeheartedly. But it's becoming a distraction. I mean,
- 25:42Speaker 1: they was at the point last night talking about should
- 25:44Speaker 1: we put some seatbelts on the pews so so you
- 25:47Speaker 1: can stay down high. They're gonna tell people they can't
- 25:51Speaker 1: shout in church, embrace God. What what do we come
- 25:53Speaker 1: to church for? Well, you do come to we need
- 25:56Speaker 1: to be trying to praise God and get their own
- 25:57Speaker 1: shout on and stop looking at me and about what
- 25:59Speaker 1: I'm doing. We're gonna need you to quit running up
- 26:02Speaker 1: and down these aisles and doing what I'm sorry, you know,
- 26:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to stay calm. I'm trying my best. Who
- 26:09Speaker 1: Jesus Jesus sure that that's not happy? You can't tell
- 26:13Speaker 1: me I gotta stop shouting. Okay, man, But let me
- 26:15Speaker 1: ask you. Are you running now? Aren't you just standing still? Talking?
- 26:19Speaker 1: But I don't have to run right now? Okay, what
- 26:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to get you to do? You know, I
- 26:23Speaker 1: like if I want to run up and down this
- 26:25Speaker 1: street right now, I can run up and down the
- 26:26Speaker 1: street and place God. But they're not gonna tell me
- 26:28Speaker 1: to stop shouting at church. Can we get you to
- 26:30Speaker 1: be a little bit more reserved as what we see? Man?
- 26:33Speaker 1: Let me let me go ahead and go further on
- 26:34Speaker 1: what they do the spirit moves. Okay, well, let me
- 26:39Speaker 1: move and tell you what they've told me. Now. If
- 26:43Speaker 1: we can't get to the point where you can, you know,
- 26:45Speaker 1: tone it down, then we may have to ask you
- 26:48Speaker 1: to leave. Let them ask me, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. You
- 26:55Speaker 1: let them ask me, why don't they want me to
- 26:56Speaker 1: leave a church? I've been at that church, but it
- 27:00Speaker 1: is I'm not leaving the church. I'm gonna run up
- 27:02Speaker 1: and I'm not gonna run on the Church't even turn
- 27:05Speaker 1: something up where I feel like not not not not listen,
- 27:10Speaker 1: think that that's all I'm thinking. Okay, go ahead, but
- 27:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna be there. I'm going to I am going
- 27:15Speaker 1: to be there on Sunday, man, and I have been
- 27:18Speaker 1: the person that's been appointed to make sure that you're
- 27:20Speaker 1: not running up and down these outs and shotting like this.
- 27:23Speaker 1: You're got to keep yourself reserved so people can hear
- 27:25Speaker 1: the word of God. You are standing in people's word.
- 27:28Speaker 1: That's what you're doing. You're in the whale. If they
- 27:30Speaker 1: come trying to send me down, I'm gonna get him
- 27:32Speaker 1: a word and it ain't gonna be a God. Put
- 27:34Speaker 1: that hands up on me here now, listen, I'm trying
- 27:37Speaker 1: to hear that. Now you can say, I haven't been
- 27:39Speaker 1: in that church fifteen years. If I want to run,
- 27:42Speaker 1: dad shout, jump, whatever I want to do, I'm gonna
- 27:45Speaker 1: do it. It ain't nobody gonna stop me. You're gonna
- 27:48Speaker 1: have to stop this this past Sunday. What's your last
- 27:50Speaker 1: Sunday doing it? And you're not gonna do with this
- 27:53Speaker 1: Sunday Like I said, just why, And I'm telling you
- 27:56Speaker 1: could tell the I don't shooting the deacon void, the deaconess,
- 27:59Speaker 1: the minister's why, the who all asked you want to
- 28:01Speaker 1: tell let him put their hands on me and see
- 28:03Speaker 1: if I don't sling on them. I'm gonna come right
- 28:04Speaker 1: about the spirit and sling on I'm telling you that
- 28:07Speaker 1: now because he said you don't really push me that
- 28:09Speaker 1: I'd have tried. I just try. Let me ask you
- 28:11Speaker 1: this here, where is trying to show that I'm saved
- 28:14Speaker 1: and never but you make it you if you're making
- 28:16Speaker 1: me revert back to my own ways and you you
- 28:19Speaker 1: really me out, that's what you're gonna do. Okay, Well,
- 28:21Speaker 1: let me ask you this, What is the God at
- 28:23Speaker 1: right now? And you where is the one that is?
- 28:27Speaker 1: What the God was in me? When I was trying
- 28:28Speaker 1: to be calm with you at first to tell you
- 28:30Speaker 1: don't be calling me with this polishness, but now you've
- 28:33Speaker 1: amaze the other sign of me roll he's up. Well,

- 28:37Speaker 1: up in me too. Guess what come, Sunning, You're gonna
- 28:39Speaker 1: sit you in that pew and you ain't gonna you

- 57:09Speaker 1: thank you. Nef subject I gave my husband a Hall pass.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a twenty two year old married woman.
- 57:17Speaker 1: My husband and I've been together for over five years,
- 57:20Speaker 1: but we've only been married six months. I am the
- 57:23Speaker 1: first woman that my husband has ever had sex with,
- 57:27Speaker 1: and we waited until we got married to have sex.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Shortly after we got married, he told me that he
- 57:33Speaker 1: wondered what it would be like to have sex with
- 57:36Speaker 1: another woman because we are both still young. I felt
- 57:40Speaker 1: like I should allow him to have that experience. I
- 57:43Speaker 1: love how open and honest he is with me because
- 57:46Speaker 1: he didn't have to share this with me, he could
- 57:48Speaker 1: have just cheated on me instead. When we found the
- 57:51Speaker 1: female that he wanted to be intimate with, he was
- 57:54Speaker 1: honest about everything. He shared details of his experience with
- 57:58Speaker 1: the female and he told me that he never wants
- 58:00Speaker 1: to do that again. I know the female too, and
- 58:03Speaker 1: she knows that we are a happily married couple. But
- 58:06Speaker 1: now we have a big problem. I have heard my
- 58:09Speaker 1: husband tell this woman that she should stop calling him,
- 58:13Speaker 1: but she won't leave him alone. I have talked to
- 58:16Speaker 1: her to talk to her too and explain to her
- 58:19Speaker 1: that the sex was just an experiment for my husband
- 58:22Speaker 1: and nothing else. At this point, I'm ready to go
- 58:25Speaker 1: off on her, but I do feel sorry for her
- 58:28Speaker 1: because she is single and very lonely. And she told
- 58:31Speaker 1: me that she feels used by my husband and I.
- 58:34Speaker 1: So how do I get her to leave my man
- 58:36Speaker 1: alone without hurting her feelings? My husband and I never
- 58:40Speaker 1: meant to hurt this woman. Okay, you guys are young,
- 58:44Speaker 1: all right? In marriage, uh and relationships, this is always
- 58:50Speaker 1: a dangerous way to go. I mean really it is.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Bringing someone into your union usually can cause all sorts
- 58:56Speaker 1: of problems. And because someone they they just aren't gonna
- 59:00Speaker 1: act right. Someone in this hook up, UH is gonna
- 59:04Speaker 1: get their emotions all involved, their feelings all involved. And uh,
- 59:08Speaker 1: you're young, so you need to know that. Okay, you're young,
- 59:11Speaker 1: you should have experimented together. Let this be a learning
- 59:14Speaker 1: experience for the two of you to grow from and
- 59:17Speaker 1: to grow together. You know, as one as a couple,
- 59:20Speaker 1: and and as his wife. You have to know that
- 59:22Speaker 1: you're under no obligation to allow him to do that,
- 59:26Speaker 1: to to give him a hall pass or whatever you
- 59:28Speaker 1: want to call it, because you know this can invite
- 59:32Speaker 1: all kinds of unnecessary issues into your marriage. You took
- 59:35Speaker 1: a chance on your marriage. You you, you gambled on
- 59:38Speaker 1: your marriage, and these are the results of that. And
- 59:41Speaker 1: now she won't leave your husband alone. She's calling you
- 59:43Speaker 1: say she's lonely, You feel sorry for her, and all
- 59:46Speaker 1: of that. Well, don't feel sorry for her right now,
- 59:49Speaker 1: because she's a grown woman. She knew that she was
- 59:52Speaker 1: sleeping with a married man. She knew that. So to you,
- 59:56Speaker 1: I say, learned from this situation, learned from this experience,
- 59:59Speaker 1: and don't do it again. No more hall passes. Okay,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: uh no more. If if he wants a hall pass,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: you dress up in a costume or role play or
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: something like that. If he you know, you gotta make
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: sex interesting with your partner. You waited until your marriage
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: to be intimate. Uh so I think you should keep
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: that intimacy going that way and keep other people out
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: of your marriage. Jay. First of all, First of all,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: I don't know where a woman is that you can
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: get with. They're gonna let you have a hall pass
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: because you're gonna say, baby, can I have a hall pass?
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: And she donna say what's gonna women? Mostly she did it,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: she did, she did it, and then you're gonna have
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: to make up something else. You know, I was thinking about,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna go get some halls from a throat like
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: j like that commercial slingers and swingers. Yeah, I'm I'll
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: talk about deck the halls. You know, I was saying,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna paid the whole, you know, I get rid
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: of download haul and oats. That just understood me. Maybe
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: I'm talking about standing in the hall. I'm a whole
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: standing in the hall. Does that have say that at all? No? Maybe?
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: And you know what, she this house don't have a haul.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna build us a hall two many women. I
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: know that's gonna give you a damn a hall pass.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I don't see that happen at all. This is rare very,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: it is, it really is. I mean, she's twenty two,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: she's young, so I'll attribute it to her age in
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: this situation, you know, and she thought she was doing
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: something nice for her husband because he asked. But no,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: you don't do this. You you just bring stuff in.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: You don't want to do that in a marriage. You
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: can't start off this way. Most men don't even know
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: how to ask that question nicely. That that is, that's
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: something you can form nicely. How do you want your
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: mouth to say that? You know, this is such a
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: gamble that she took. You know, this is really such
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: a chance. But yeah, you're right, Jay. How many women
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: do you know that would say yeah, sure, no problem money?
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: And if she says, would a high boys be ready
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: to go to court? Partner? Sure? You feel like right?
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: You're feeling fun? You? Yeah? You trouble? Yeah? What does
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Tommy say during the Are you smarter than nephew Tommy?
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Please let's do you? Yeah? But yeah, you can't do this,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: You just simply cannot. You did it. You gotta stop
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: this right now, nip it in the bud. You absolutely
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: have to, because you know otherwise it's not gonna work.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Your your marriage is not gonna work. You know, Yeah,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you don't want your husband to get used to this
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: type of situation and start cheating for you. Don't want
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: that now, you you're not going to be able to
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: control this situation and what he does you know when
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: he's away from don't start this. I was saying, Yeah, okay,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: you heard from me, you heard from Jay. We're gonna
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: have Part two of the Strawberry Letter. Responses to the
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter Coming Up with a Nephew at twenty three
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: after the hour. The subject of today's letter is I
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: gave my husband a hall pass. Don't do it. You're
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: listening to the show. Alright, we're in the middle of
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: this Strawberry Letter. Subject I gave my husband a hall pass?
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: All right, So let's recap. It was written by a
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: twenty two year old married woman. She and her husband
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: have been together for five years, but only been married
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: for six months. She is the first woman that her
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: husband has ever had sex with. Uh. They ait it
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: until they got married to have sex so shortly after
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: they got married. Shortly after they got married, her husband
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: told her he wondered what it would be like to
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: have sex with another woman. Uh. And she says, because
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: they were both still young, she felt like she should
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: allow him to have that experience, and she just loves
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: how open and honest he is with her because he
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: didn't have to share it with her. H he could
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: have just cheated on her instead. So they found a female.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: He found a female that he wanted to be intimate with,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: and he shared all the details with his wife but
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: told her that he never wants to do that again.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: His wife knows the female too. And uh, now since
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: this has happened, the female won't leave her husband alone.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: She's constantly calling him and uh, you know, she explained
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: to the woman that the sex was just an experiment
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: for her husband and nothing else. And uh, she says
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: she feels sorry for the woman though she's single and
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: very lonely. And the woman told her she feels used
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: by her husband, so she wants to know how does
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: she get her to leave her man alone without hurting
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: her feelings? And she says her husband and she and
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: her husband never meant to hurt this woman. And I
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: just basically told her that in marriage, uh and in relationships.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: You know, this is such a dangerous road to go
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: down to give someone a hall pass. First of all,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: who does this, as J pointed out, but this woman
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: in the letter apparently does. And this is why you
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: don't do it, because situations like this can occur. You gambled,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: You took a chance on your marriage. You can't do that,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: all right, because your husband, you never know, could fall
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: in love with this woman and leave you for her.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: You know, you leave the door open for all sorts
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: of things. And so, um, now is the nephew's turn.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: And nephew, I think you had a question for us,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: didn't you. We want you to respond, but who you won't?
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: You won't you want Thomas? Which give us both? How
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: about that? Give us? Just give us a pass? Go ahead,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: let me give you Thomas Myles. First, Oh, this is
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: probably the worst worst mistake that you have ever made.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: First of all, you just twenty something years old. You
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: just got married. You only you've only been married for
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: six months. You haven't even gotten into your relationship yet,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: you haven't even gotten deep into your marriage there, and
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you have no idea what it takes to build a
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: union that you supposedly just started. You have no earthly idea.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: So to give someone a hall pass? First of all,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: who wants a hall pass? If you're married? You shouldn't
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: even want one. First and foremost, if my wife gave
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: me a hall pass, trust me, I would. I would
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: think about it, but I wouldn't do it because I
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: know I have to put the shoe on the other
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: foot and say do I want to give my wife
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: a hall pass? You have to put the shoe on
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: the other foot and say, do I want my wife
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: to go be with another man for one night? No,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I'm not going to be able to live with that,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: and that that would be on my mind. It would
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: drive me freaking crazy every time I thought about it,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: and it would be on my mind continuously. So you
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: gave you gave your man a hall past, But let's
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: turn around and see if he give you one, and
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: see if he can make it. Your marriage won't even
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: last a year because you will consistently be thinking about
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: what happened that night? What's the what's the great movie
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: with with Woody Harrelson? What is that? And a million
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: dollars for one night with your wife? And they did
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: it and it just destroyed the entire union. Why would
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: you do that? It is the most ignorant thing to do.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Every man thinks he wants to be with another woman,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: he wants to do this. He wants to do that.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: But if you have decided to walk down this aisle
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: and be married, that is your decision. That's what you
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: got to ride with. That's it. Your girl can be
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: thirty different people. If you wanted to be by the way,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: see what you got to do. I was talking, Okay,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Thomas smiles. All right, smart man. Now let's hear from
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: the next year. Ain't not like a bast You better
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: get get it, get it. Don't stop you. Okay, yes, yes, please,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: But if my baby listening right now, baby, I want
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: a hall pass. Come on, Okay, let me ride it out.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: But truth be told, if you take this whole pass,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: you better put the shoe on the other foot and decide.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Do I want to give my partner hall bad? I
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: want to do this. It's gonna blow you up, man,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: It's gonna blow you up. You think you want that,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: you think you can't take it. Listen, listen, but you
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: think you want a threesome. You think that, But but
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: as soon as you do that, as soon as you
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: try this craziness, trust me, your marriage is destroyed because
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: as one is totally gone there. That's right, Tommy. I
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: know someone who did this, who because it was her
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: husband's forty birthday or something like that. She wanted to
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: do something special for him and bring another female into
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the into the bedroom. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah. Uh.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: They are divorced, right to this day, they are divorced. Yeah,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: it did not work out. You can't do it. You
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: can't bring another person into your man. You can't do it.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: All right, you did it? Uh, and and now you
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: see what happens. You know, emotions get involved, feelings get involved.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: It's just not the way to go. And you guys
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: are young, you have guys should be growing together, expermenting together. Huh.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: They shouldn't with each other. They shouldn't. What I want
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: to say, they shouldn't. But this is really an early
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: age to be married. But I'm not gonna make it work. Yeah,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: you know, it's not impossible, but it's exactly. But but
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: you're saying they don't have enough life experience anyway. You
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: don't have enough experience anyway. And you've already started to
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: try this at six months into your marriage. You haven't
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: even gotten a marriage on the right track yet, right right.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: And he just said that he wondered what it would
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: be like. He just whatever, he wor you're gonna give
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: him his right exactly exactly right, Yeah, you know I
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: was wondering would it be like Tom? All right, we
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: gotta go, guys, email us on Instagram. That's your thoughts
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: on today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey f M. Coming

- 1:19:50Speaker 1: hit rock bottom. And U it was really cool to
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: see that mother and son moment that she had with
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Tyrek when she dropping off at boarding school and night
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: and with nobody you go to Bulls school at night.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: That was a special moment though, you right, yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: it was a good moment. She you know, Tisha kept
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: it one hundred with Terik about how she and Ghosts
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: they grew up in Queens and in the hood and
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: they just didn't want their kids to have the kind
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: of life that they had, so they lied to their
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: kids about what they did for living and all kinds
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: of stuff. So I don't know when check when? Right?
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: Don't you check in until five? And then after that
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: they closed. I just want to know. I just want
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: the writer to know. This should have been doing the day.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: That's all I want to write. All right, he's moving on, nephew.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Ghosts is trying to get revenge, you know, for baby
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: Girl's death, rain you know, and then Tommy he wants
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: to get revenge for Raina's death too, but he's trying
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: to make money. Kanean, He's just in it to be
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: in it for his own reasons. Yeah, go ahead without
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: being disrespectful. I just have to say this, what saying
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: You don't understand They need a little man in the corner,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: what he is saying it. They need Trump's interpreter what
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: he had. But Kana, Hey, he bought into the business,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: just like Cat, and Cat just said that he bought
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: into the business. So he is in. And finally, I
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: love Lorenz Tate he is doing. Yeah, he's so good.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: He's so good. He's so good. A consuliment tap but
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: fancy from the Jamie Fox Show. Will I but first, yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: she's got busy, busy. And then Angela, she's getting busy herself.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: Yeah sidebar Diego cannot stay in dre So we're gonna
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: see what's going on with that. Yea, yeah, huh who
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: niked the most because they stay naked over them ghosts
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: ghost is naked the way that well, no, I shouldn't
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: say that. Moving on, We love Spanky. I love the
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: character Spanky. The guy wanted the gates of the guy
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: to wear. The glass is a little love Spanky. I
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: want to see more of him. I want to move up,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: yeah up, yeah, yeah, I think he's gonna turn on
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: Dre anyway. All right, So that's episode of power. Uh,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Potomac. I gotta move along and got

- 1:22:41Speaker 1: I just love me some Gazelle and the Real Housewives. Yeah,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: the ladies are in France. They're celebrating Monique's birthday. But
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: you know, Gizelle and Robbing. You know, they'd be rolling
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: up together, hanging out, and you know, Monique invited Gazelle
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: to her room to apologize or try to explain what happened,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: but you know, you girl, Gazelle was not having it.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: I love her, she said that Monique. She just wanted
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Monique to know that she knew that what you were doing.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: You knew what you were doing when you're inviting my
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: ex boyfriend sherman's ex wife to their circle and getting
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: her to come out to events and stuff. So Gazelle
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: was just letting Monique know you tried it, but uh,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I caught onto what you're doing. And and side note,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: has anybody go to Steve Harvey FM on social media?

- 1:26:22Speaker 1: gap months to enjoy being with her friends. So she
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: is going to get a chance to be a kid.
