- 1:42Speaker 1: to turn the probably got to turn mout to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water. Come come on your thing, Huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I said, I huh, I show will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:07Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:10Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I
- 2:14Speaker 1: feel it's necessary to explain what I say in the
- 2:16Speaker 1: morning because somebody asked me, what do you mean by
- 2:19Speaker 1: that when you say that in the morning. When I
- 2:22Speaker 1: say huh, it's in response to David Hollister opening the
- 2:27Speaker 1: song by saying, go ahead, big Daddy, go ahead, I said,
- 2:31Speaker 1: uh huh, I show will. Then I say good morning everybody.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Because I was raised at Ray. You're supposed to speak
- 2:38Speaker 1: when you come in the room. I'm coming in y'all's room,
- 2:41Speaker 1: whether it's your bad room, the room in your house,
- 2:44Speaker 1: your car, your office, you know, wherever you had I
- 2:48Speaker 1: come in the room or God speak. So I say
- 2:49Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, and
- 2:53Speaker 1: then I got to introduce myself because as a performer,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I always felt my best when I was introduced. It's knowing.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Why would you walk out on stage anybody introduce you?
- 3:04Speaker 1: You know you can't get the round of applause. It's
- 3:06Speaker 1: just it's horrible. So I say, you are listening to
- 3:09Speaker 1: the voice wanting only Steve Harvey. Come on, dig me now.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Now that's old school. I got that, but that's I
- 3:16Speaker 1: was once again. Dig me, Now, is I want you
- 3:20Speaker 1: to feel what I'm about to say. That's all I'm saying.
- 3:24Speaker 1: That's not a bragging thing. You know, you're listening to
- 3:28Speaker 1: the voice wanting only Steve Harvey. Come on, dig me now,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I'm just asking you to feel what I'm saying in
- 3:34Speaker 1: the morning, because it's part of a promise that I
- 3:37Speaker 1: made to God. See a long time ago, I told God,
- 3:40Speaker 1: if he allowed me to make it, that when I
- 3:43Speaker 1: got there, I would tell everybody I know how I
- 3:46Speaker 1: did it, and I wasn't gonna shortcut it or shade
- 3:50Speaker 1: him on it. I said, if you allow me to
- 3:52Speaker 1: make it, if you give me the strength, the courage,
- 3:56Speaker 1: the wisdom, you gave me a gift if you let
- 3:59Speaker 1: me apply, don't destroy myself in the process. Forgive me
- 4:04Speaker 1: for my sins along the way, continue to hold and
- 4:07Speaker 1: rock me when I need it. When I make it,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I promise you Lord, when I get there, I will
- 4:14Speaker 1: tell everybody how I made it. Well. This started back
- 4:19Speaker 1: in LA when I got on the radio and I
- 4:24Speaker 1: was making it okay. I was doing okay, but I
- 4:28Speaker 1: had to keep my promise to God. My promise was,
- 4:31Speaker 1: if you allow me to make it, I'll tell everybody
- 4:34Speaker 1: how I got there. I have to tell you that
- 4:39Speaker 1: every day because if it was not for that grace
- 4:42Speaker 1: and mercy, I wouldn't even be here able to fulfill
- 4:45Speaker 1: my promise, because I've done enough dirt in my life.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Man to not be worthy. He could have easily walked
- 4:52Speaker 1: away from me a long time ago because I had
- 4:56Speaker 1: show walked away from him. See, and I didn't walk
- 4:59Speaker 1: awa from him once. I walked away from him a
- 5:02Speaker 1: bunch of times. But guess what he forgave me a
- 5:07Speaker 1: bunch of times. I'm a living example of hundreds of chances.
- 5:14Speaker 1: His forgiveness and his mercy is available for everybody. It's
- 5:19Speaker 1: the only reason I get on this show every day,
- 5:22Speaker 1: the only reason I have the blessings that's coming my way.
- 5:24Speaker 1: It's the only way that the things that keep happening
- 5:27Speaker 1: in my life, man, that I have no explanation for,
- 5:32Speaker 1: it is because of His grace and mercy. See, anytime
- 5:36Speaker 1: something good happens in my life and I can't explain it,
- 5:39Speaker 1: that's usually him, he exhibits to me. Remember, I'm a
- 5:45Speaker 1: forgiving god. Man. Remember, So when you fall, Steve, don't
- 5:48Speaker 1: lay down now. Don't you lay down there. Don't you
- 5:51Speaker 1: let the devil fool you that because you'd have made
- 5:54Speaker 1: some mistakes that you ain't that you can't do it
- 5:58Speaker 1: because everybody gonna make them. Now. It's none perfect, no,
- 6:01Speaker 1: not once. So get up, keep moving, keep pushing, step
- 6:05Speaker 1: on what you're laying there for. Your daddy didn't raise
- 6:10Speaker 1: you that way. Look, man, my father was just about manhood.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna just tell you. My daddy never had a
- 6:16Speaker 1: conversation with me about church. He beat me for not going,
- 6:19Speaker 1: but you know a couple of times, but he wasn't
- 6:22Speaker 1: about that wasn't his message. That was my mama's job.
- 6:25Speaker 1: My mama taught me about being saved, about loving the Lord,
- 6:29Speaker 1: about giving your life, about the teachings of Jesus Christ.
- 6:33Speaker 1: My mama was a Sunday school teacher, so I got
- 6:35Speaker 1: all of that from her. My old man ain't had
- 6:38Speaker 1: none of that for me. My old man talked to
- 6:40Speaker 1: me about one thing all day long, hard working manhood.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And when you're gonna get that if you don't get
- 6:45Speaker 1: nothing else from me, he gave that to me, so
- 6:47Speaker 1: I got it. See, so, my father, you say, excuse
- 6:51Speaker 1: my language, but you ain't gonna sit there like a
- 6:53Speaker 1: little punk up in here. You ain't adven what you're
- 6:55Speaker 1: fit to do. You're fin to get up and go
- 6:57Speaker 1: do what you're posted to do. Now, stop all that
- 6:59Speaker 1: wine and some little punking gonna get the movie. That's
- 7:01Speaker 1: how my father talked to me. And now I'm just
- 7:03Speaker 1: telling you real. It worked for me, though, And before
- 7:06Speaker 1: you start emailing me, they had nothing to do with
- 7:08Speaker 1: homosexuality at all. It's just that was his turn for
- 7:13Speaker 1: a man not acting like a man. That's all it was.
- 7:16Speaker 1: It had. It was not a gay reference at all.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I want you to understand that before you start emailing me.
- 7:21Speaker 1: So my daddy wasn't call and that was not a
- 7:23Speaker 1: sexual reference for him. My father talked to us that's
- 7:26Speaker 1: what he meant. I knew exactly what he meant. He
- 7:28Speaker 1: couldn't admit nothing. He didn't even know nothing about that.
- 7:30Speaker 1: My man clueless when it comes to that, right there.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So when I was getting down and feeling bad about myself,
- 7:37Speaker 1: my old man, he taught me this toughness. Man, he
- 7:40Speaker 1: gave me this grit, this doggedness, this go to work
- 7:43Speaker 1: and work hard. That's why today, when God does bless
- 7:46Speaker 1: me with something, he ain't got to weary about me
- 7:49Speaker 1: not working hard because that's in me. And when I
- 7:54Speaker 1: get tired, I asked that same God for strength to
- 7:57Speaker 1: keep on doing so I can do the blessings he
- 8:00Speaker 1: got for me. So when you ask me how you
- 8:03Speaker 1: gonna do all this, Steve Harvey, I don't know. I
- 8:07Speaker 1: ain't got to figure that out. All I got to
- 8:09Speaker 1: do is show up with the same amount of faith
- 8:11Speaker 1: for being showing up with God handle the rest of it.
- 8:14Speaker 1: See y'all, Hey man, let me tell youself. I don't
- 8:17Speaker 1: see how you do it. I don't either, can I
- 8:20Speaker 1: can I? Gee? Hey man, news flash, let me here.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I don't see how you doing all that, Steve. You're
- 8:25Speaker 1: doing this? You doing that? You know? Can I tell
- 8:27Speaker 1: you something. I don't either. I just wake up with
- 8:29Speaker 1: the faith man and trusting that if he gonna bless
- 8:32Speaker 1: me with it, he must be gonna show me a
- 8:34Speaker 1: way how to get it done. See I ain't tripping
- 8:37Speaker 1: on that part. See I. Once you take yourself out
- 8:40Speaker 1: to how to business, you can go on and get
- 8:42Speaker 1: with it. But see if you're gonna trip yourself out
- 8:45Speaker 1: with the how to, you can't think like God can think.
- 8:48Speaker 1: You can't figure like God can figure. So now you're
- 8:50Speaker 1: sitting up in here gonna Lord, I want this to
- 8:52Speaker 1: have him for me? Then I don't know how I'm
- 8:55Speaker 1: will do all that? Well, guess what you and the way? Now?
- 8:59Speaker 1: See you? Now you the way because see God ain't
- 9:02Speaker 1: ask you to figure out how to? He said, ask
- 9:05Speaker 1: and believe. Then he said faith without works is dead.
- 9:10Speaker 1: That's my solution. That's the concoction that I'm functioning on.
- 9:15Speaker 1: All I got to do is accept the blessing, keep
- 9:18Speaker 1: the faith, be willing to work and believe God can
- 9:23Speaker 1: do anything but failed. Why would God bring me this
- 9:27Speaker 1: far to leave me? Why would he bring you this
- 9:31Speaker 1: far to leave you? So why I get up every morning?
- 9:37Speaker 1: I have no choice? I got to get up in
- 9:40Speaker 1: here the red. When I'm running late, man, I try
- 9:42Speaker 1: to ply through here. Sometimes I don't make it. Man,
- 9:44Speaker 1: I got to do a rerun. But I ply through
- 9:46Speaker 1: here because man, Steve, you're gonna run out of something
- 9:49Speaker 1: to say. No, I'm gonna just keep thanking him. Now.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You can't run out of that, can you, Because you
- 9:52Speaker 1: owe him that. Matter of fact, when I get through talking,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I really ain't thanked him enough. Morning Show. It is
- 10:03Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Welcome to the Ride, Welcome
- 10:06Speaker 1: to the Ride. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Nephew on the
- 10:10Speaker 1: mic early this morning because I fearless leader is running
- 10:13Speaker 1: a little bit behind schedule. But everyone else is here,
- 10:16Speaker 1: the Beautiful Shirley Strawberry and Mississippi Monica, Call of Feral
- 10:20Speaker 1: and Junior Board Space Kill Junior, Poor Space, and let
- 10:24Speaker 1: me ask you out something for what Good morning, first
- 10:26Speaker 1: ball to everybody, you know. I know you normally start
- 10:30Speaker 1: with a question, Junior, but let me start with one.
- 10:33Speaker 1: How do I dock Steve for running later? How do
- 10:36Speaker 1: I do that? Who do I call for that? Dude?
- 10:38Speaker 1: Do anybody know who I do? Probably kind of call him, yeah, yeah,
- 10:43Speaker 1: But how do I dock he's paid, though, how do
- 10:45Speaker 1: I get in the system to dock his pay? You
- 10:48Speaker 1: mean our pay roll system? You're trying to figure it
- 10:51Speaker 1: out that part? How do I dock his pay? But yeah,
- 10:57Speaker 1: I don't understand. Okay, and I get it as complicated.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I get that. But but how do we go dock
- 11:06Speaker 1: and paid time? Because he's not here. He's not here,
- 11:09Speaker 1: he's late, he's not here. Do you get your pay
- 11:13Speaker 1: dock when you're not here? That's not why? Right? Yeah,
- 11:20Speaker 1: you ain't been here? Yeah, because I'm after Steve. It's
- 11:25Speaker 1: the Lord, isn't it jeeus who told you that I
- 11:32Speaker 1: don't want to help me? Doctor? Job, y'all answers to
- 11:36Speaker 1: y'all ain't no good coworkers, y'all. How do we dock
- 11:38Speaker 1: the man paid? That's all I'm answering, that's all. We
- 11:40Speaker 1: don't need you, You don't dock him. That's basically you
- 11:45Speaker 1: need a little swift kick in the butt sometime he needed.
- 11:48Speaker 1: But have you ever had Joe paid doctor? That's the problem, junior,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I mean on any job. Have you ever had Joe
- 11:59Speaker 1: paid dock on any job? Out? Yeah? Okay, you remember
- 12:03Speaker 1: how you acted when you had your pay doctor? Yeah?
- 12:05Speaker 1: They put me out the plant. Yeah, same day had
- 12:09Speaker 1: doctor's man page potentially works. Okay, you really want to
- 12:17Speaker 1: know yet? I worked at Compact Computers in Houston, which
- 12:22Speaker 1: is now which is now a Hewlett Packer, Right. I
- 12:25Speaker 1: worked a Compact you and I saw this girl that
- 12:28Speaker 1: was flying at lunch and I was like, oh my
- 12:29Speaker 1: god that she was so so fly. But she worked
- 12:32Speaker 1: there a whole another unity and I wanted to see
- 12:34Speaker 1: the girl again. I pulled the fire larm so we
- 12:36Speaker 1: could all be outside so I can see the girl again.
- 12:40Speaker 1: And I saw, Oh my god, did I see it?
- 12:43Speaker 1: But yeah, they ran the tape back and found out
- 12:45Speaker 1: who pulled it down A fire larm it with me,
- 12:47Speaker 1: So yeah, I got doctor, I can't. I'm doing you
- 12:52Speaker 1: for that. And then I got a little upset about
- 12:54Speaker 1: being dock and got put out the plant. So yeah,
- 12:57Speaker 1: I remember that to this day. Little upset. What do
- 13:00Speaker 1: you mean? Oh? I cost a few people out him,
- 13:03Speaker 1: got on the palette Jackings, got on my son and
- 13:07Speaker 1: it's right here next to me, about to say good
- 13:08Speaker 1: goodbye because he getting ready to go to school. I
- 13:10Speaker 1: don't want him to hear with the dad. Indeed, I
- 13:12Speaker 1: ignored his dad no idea. Morning Jordan, have a good morning, body.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Jordan's turned out so well, all right, spite, yes, all right,
- 13:36Speaker 1: thank you guys. Coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:38Speaker 1: the hour, we'll hear again from the nephew as he
- 13:40Speaker 1: runs that prank back right after this, your doc Steve,
- 13:45Speaker 1: you're listening show it is time now for the nephew
- 13:50Speaker 1: and run that prank back. What you got for its nap?
- 13:53Speaker 1: I got a little something something. You ain't married. You
- 13:57Speaker 1: ain't married. I just ain't to be the bearer of
- 14:01Speaker 1: bad news. That's uarantine. You are not married, but the
- 14:07Speaker 1: shame dirty Shane. Let's go cat. Hello. Hello, I'm trying
- 14:12Speaker 1: to reach Brian. Yeah, how you doing, Brian? My name
- 14:15Speaker 1: is Daniel. I wanted to give you a call today.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You got a minute? Yeah, okay listen, um you're you're Brian?
- 14:23Speaker 1: Um Brian right? You're married to uh to Althea. Yeah. Hello, hello, yeah,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm yeah, Yeah, that's that's me. That's my wife's Yeah. Okay,
- 14:34Speaker 1: got a question for you. Hello, have you guys been married?
- 14:37Speaker 1: Going on nine years now? We've been married? Now? Who
- 14:40Speaker 1: is this? My name is Daniel? Were you um? Were
- 14:44Speaker 1: you guys married? A Greater New Missionary Baptist Church. Uh
- 14:48Speaker 1: Lena see yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the name of
- 14:52Speaker 1: that church. Yeah, great boy, nine years Yeah, that's right.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Why what's going on? What's asking me all these questions for? Okay,
- 14:59Speaker 1: do you remember the the minister that officiated your actual
- 15:03Speaker 1: wedding ceremony? Yeah? No, uh reverend right, yeah, Okay, I
- 15:08Speaker 1: got the right person. I wanted to make sure I
- 15:10Speaker 1: had the right person, Brian. So I'm I'm sorry if
- 15:13Speaker 1: it seemed a little weird to you. Here. Here's what's
- 15:16Speaker 1: going on. We've just come up with a new discovery,
- 15:19Speaker 1: a lot of information that Reverend none of his credentials
- 15:24Speaker 1: are true. Everything is false. He's not a minister at all,
- 15:29Speaker 1: he never was a minister, and every single wedding ceremony
- 15:34Speaker 1: that he officiated is basically null and void. So, and
- 15:39Speaker 1: I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but
- 15:42Speaker 1: you and Alphia, even though you think you've been married
- 15:45Speaker 1: for nine years, you guys are not married. No no, no no, no,
- 15:49Speaker 1: no, no no, you gotta have the wrong person. Because men
- 15:53Speaker 1: then we got we got married by nine years ago.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And what I'm telling you is he he never was ordained,
- 16:04Speaker 1: he's never been an ordained minister. He's not a minister
- 16:07Speaker 1: at all. So when he performed this ceremony, you're a
- 16:10Speaker 1: wedding ceremony. He had no right to be doing that.
- 16:12Speaker 1: You guys are not are not married. You know you
- 16:16Speaker 1: guys have been living in sin for nine years. Hold on,
- 16:19Speaker 1: hold on that. Let me tell you something. But I
- 16:21Speaker 1: ain't been living man and my wife we have been
- 16:23Speaker 1: married for nine years. And that man he's a preacher.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I'm telling he's a preacher. I'm preach gland Funday, Sir.
- 16:30Speaker 1: As of today, he has no right to be in
- 16:33Speaker 1: anybody's pulpit. He has no right to be officiating, whether
- 16:36Speaker 1: it's weddings or funerals, no matter what it is, christenings
- 16:39Speaker 1: for children. He's not allowed to do that. And we
- 16:42Speaker 1: have officially stopped him from doing anything serving under as
- 16:48Speaker 1: being a pastor or a minister. We have stopped at
- 16:51Speaker 1: But what I want you to know is that you
- 16:53Speaker 1: have been living in sin and you don't you get that.
- 16:56Speaker 1: We want to try and get you guys married as
- 16:59Speaker 1: soon as possible. So you're not living in sin. Oh, no, doc,
- 17:02Speaker 1: I ain't been living in no sin. I have been
- 17:05Speaker 1: married for nine years this womanship been taking care of
- 17:08Speaker 1: me and my kids for the past nine years. Wait, wait,
- 17:10Speaker 1: wait a minute, Wait a minute. You guys have children. Yeah, yeah,
- 17:14Speaker 1: we got two, two kids, two beautiful kids. Okay, then
- 17:17Speaker 1: those kids are bastards, sassards, hud. Let me tell you something.
- 17:21Speaker 1: My kids ain't no bastards. What about your kids? Your
- 17:23Speaker 1: kids in bastards? No, sir, my kids, My kids were
- 17:25Speaker 1: born in wedlock. Your kids have been born out of wedlocks.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I'm telling you that man did my service, and he
- 17:33Speaker 1: is a preacher. He's a man after God's own heart himself.
- 17:37Speaker 1: He hasn't done everything that he could for me and
- 17:40Speaker 1: my family. He is a preacher. So I know it's
- 17:44Speaker 1: hard for you to to to swallow the truth, but
- 17:46Speaker 1: I want you to know, and I need you to
- 17:47Speaker 1: be able to tell out feel that you guys are
- 17:49Speaker 1: not married and not as a right now now, no, okay,
- 17:53Speaker 1: solder home. Now, back in the olden days, but before
- 17:58Speaker 1: all these alrease colleges and stuff came came about, you
- 18:01Speaker 1: telling me that they're men baking old days, that they
- 18:03Speaker 1: weren't no preachers, that they weren't meant men after the cough?
- 18:07Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying to me, what are you?
- 18:09Speaker 1: What are you? What are you? What are you getting at? Sir?
- 18:12Speaker 1: What I'm trying to say is back in the older day,
- 18:14Speaker 1: baking the twenties and thirties, they didn't have all these
- 18:16Speaker 1: colleges and all these degrees and stuff like these new
- 18:18Speaker 1: preachers got these days. That man now he was from
- 18:21Speaker 1: back then, and God called him and that's what they
- 18:24Speaker 1: went on too. And all them people that they married
- 18:27Speaker 1: back then, they did the same thing to day. You
- 18:29Speaker 1: don't need to know what the greed to say that
- 18:31Speaker 1: that you're a preacher. You don't need no life to
- 18:32Speaker 1: say you're a preacher. Man, My wife would have been
- 18:35Speaker 1: mad for nine years. My kids have been born in wedlock,
- 18:39Speaker 1: we were married, we were mad. If I've readden my
- 18:42Speaker 1: friends and family day was all there. Sure. The bottom
- 18:45Speaker 1: line is that that you have been living in sin
- 18:47Speaker 1: because you have not been married with your wife for
- 18:49Speaker 1: the last nine years. And your kids, I hate to
- 18:53Speaker 1: say it, your kids are bastards now O Now, I'd
- 18:56Speaker 1: have told you, don't say nothing else about my kids, said,
- 18:59Speaker 1: I ain't gonna cume, but don't push me. My kids
- 19:02Speaker 1: ain't no bass. You're understand me. You won't getting there, Sir.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to give you the truth and try to
- 19:07Speaker 1: get you in here and get you married so you
- 19:08Speaker 1: will not be living in sin any more than what

- 24:13Speaker 1: of her new neighbors joke with her about coming over
- 24:16Speaker 1: to do his yard too, and that bothered me. Should
- 24:19Speaker 1: I go pay him a visit and tell him I
- 24:21Speaker 1: didn't like his joke? Well, if the joke bothered he, well,
- 24:29Speaker 1: I understand where you're coming from, because it got you
- 24:32Speaker 1: looking kind of crazy, like like your wife out there
- 24:35Speaker 1: cutting the grass. And that's traditionally in neighborhoods across all
- 24:39Speaker 1: the suburban America, a man's job. But if your wife
- 24:43Speaker 1: likes it, you can't stop her from doing what she liked.
- 24:45Speaker 1: But not a dude and joked about it. It's just
- 24:48Speaker 1: a joke. Come on over and do my yard. Your
- 24:50Speaker 1: problem be is she take her ass over there and

- 25:37Speaker 1: she might want to go out there and try to
- 25:38Speaker 1: learn how to do that. That's like I cut my
- 25:41Speaker 1: grass man about two thousand folk, and well I didn't
- 25:49Speaker 1: have to. I just wanted to ride the tour roads

- 28:35Speaker 1: Steph had a threesome with two guys. One of the
- 28:37Speaker 1: guys is married to her sorority sister. She found out

- 31:32Speaker 1: Women do it with breast enhancements all the time. Nobody
- 31:36Speaker 1: says anything. No, breast is way different. That's a little differently.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Well well, well, well no, I ain't know. All of

- 31:54Speaker 1: you did a private part reduction? See you having to
- 32:00Speaker 1: do a private heart reduction. It's the same as a
- 32:04Speaker 1: man doing a private part enhancement. His was too small

- 32:54Speaker 1: multiple speeding tickets and she never paid the fines associated
- 32:57Speaker 1: with them. This eventually caught up with Sherry and led
- 33:00Speaker 1: to her being arrested and put behind bars. Now, according
- 33:04Speaker 1: to page six, Sherry said, quote, yeah, I went to
- 33:06Speaker 1: jail for not paying my tickets. At the time, I

- 33:11Speaker 1: But looking back, I learned to pay all my bills jail.
- 33:15Speaker 1: That was a classroom. It was a life lesson, and
- 33:18Speaker 1: now I pay my bills on time. Sherry had to
- 33:21Speaker 1: sit in a jail sale for eight days and she
- 33:24Speaker 1: met some unique women during her time spent incarcerated. One
- 33:27Speaker 1: of the girls in jail said, leave Sherry alone because
- 33:30Speaker 1: she's going to be somebody and we are going to
- 33:32Speaker 1: be here for the rest of our lives. So, man,
- 33:36Speaker 1: what jail days? Eight day days? She didn't pay them? Yeah,
- 33:46Speaker 1: a lot of tickets go home days. Yeah, here's that
- 33:52Speaker 1: eight days. I'm not saying that she's not telling the truths,
- 33:59Speaker 1: but very cool person it say about that. But eight
- 34:03Speaker 1: days for the damn tickets. That must that must have
- 34:06Speaker 1: been her sentence because she had not paid them before.
- 34:10Speaker 1: She had must have. Yeah, and who was she in
- 34:14Speaker 1: there with that? In there the rest of the day life.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Those were the girls. One of the girls in jail said,
- 34:19Speaker 1: leave her alone. She's going to be somebody. We are
- 34:22Speaker 1: going to be here for the rest of our lives.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Do she is still right there? She still keeping touch? Yeah? Yeah.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Actually the article went on to say that she's cool
- 34:31Speaker 1: with one of the ladies, now, one of the ladies
- 34:33Speaker 1: around and does she do the do the lady work
- 34:35Speaker 1: on the show? She got a working I don't know
- 34:38Speaker 1: if she works on the show. I didn't see that part,

- 35:52Speaker 1: Steve coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, Well,
- 35:55Speaker 1: Donald Trump will be He is back on the campaign trail.
- 35:58Speaker 1: This time it's in Waco. Tech says we'll talk about
- 36:00Speaker 1: it right after this you're listening morning show. According to
- 36:06Speaker 1: Yahoo dot com, former President Donald Trump had his first
- 36:10Speaker 1: major campaign stop of the twenty twenty four presidential race.
- 36:13Speaker 1: This one took place in Waco, Texas, where the nineteen
- 36:16Speaker 1: ninety three siege between law enforcement and the Branch Davidians cult,
- 36:21Speaker 1: in which seventy six people died. Trump focused less on
- 36:25Speaker 1: what he would do for America as president and more
- 36:27Speaker 1: on what America could do for him. He said, every
- 36:31Speaker 1: piece of my personal life, financial life, business life, and
- 36:34Speaker 1: public life has been turned upside down and dissected like
- 36:37Speaker 1: no one in the history of our country, Trump told
- 36:41Speaker 1: his supporters, And he says, and of course, as we
- 36:44Speaker 1: all know, Trump is facing a possible indictment in connection
- 36:47Speaker 1: with the Manhattan hush money probe railed against the Manhattan
- 36:52Speaker 1: District Attorney's office. Also denied again having an affair with
- 36:56Speaker 1: adult film star Stormy Daniels. All Right, he heard some
- 37:00Speaker 1: of that speech. He's still it's saying and lying that
- 37:04Speaker 1: he won the twenty twenty election. You didn't, Joe Biden.
- 37:13Speaker 1: But you know, here's here's the horrific part about this
- 37:17Speaker 1: that there is a large portion of America that don't
- 37:23Speaker 1: give a damn what he'd do, because if they are
- 37:28Speaker 1: exactly like him and aspired to be him, they don't
- 37:33Speaker 1: kill what he does because dal Gone, that's the American way.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Slamming people, lying, doing anything to get to the top,
- 37:43Speaker 1: that's the American way. That's how they got the country
- 37:46Speaker 1: and they ain't got no problem with That's how they
- 37:48Speaker 1: want to take it back. That's why the campaign slogan
- 37:51Speaker 1: is make America Great Again? And what year was that?
- 37:55Speaker 1: But Steve, what about this statement? I mean, in part uh,
- 38:00Speaker 1: every piece of his life has been turned upside down
- 38:03Speaker 1: and dissected like no one in the history of our country.
- 38:06Speaker 1: What about that? I mean, We've never had a president
- 38:08Speaker 1: like him in the history of our country. Well, yeah,

- 40:07Speaker 1: the trip for two years. He never had the time,
- 40:10Speaker 1: but now all of a sudden we found time to
- 40:12Speaker 1: go the biggest find. So. I also recently learned that
- 40:16Speaker 1: that she got an apartment and didn't help me. I
- 40:18Speaker 1: do believe the learning is on the wall, but I
- 40:21Speaker 1: just don't know how to handle it. If you can
- 40:24Speaker 1: get some excite, that would really doing the ship on
- 40:26Speaker 1: how I should have an approach and letting you know
- 40:31Speaker 1: I know about the apartment. Thank you, well, ma'am you
- 40:37Speaker 1: said I know the rightness on the wall, then re
- 40:41Speaker 1: read it that's all you got to do. And just
- 40:48Speaker 1: you know, just I mean, it's sad, but it's timely though.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Sometimes God's revealed. God revealed things to us. That's in
- 41:00Speaker 1: the nick of time. And if you don't mind, what
- 41:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna do right now is I'm gonna play you something.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna play you something that I heard one time
- 41:11Speaker 1: that was so prolific and I think it will apply
- 41:14Speaker 1: to this lady right here, and you know, I hope
- 41:18Speaker 1: you are. I can hear it. I'm gonna play it
- 41:21Speaker 1: off my phone and I hope you I hope you
- 41:24Speaker 1: understand it. But this right here, it's what I want
- 41:27Speaker 1: you to hear. Check it out. I don't know if, if,
- 41:30Speaker 1: if if people are aware of this, but the most
- 41:33Speaker 1: important decision you were ever making your life after your
- 41:40Speaker 1: technology dog. I had it for a minute, but time,
- 41:46Speaker 1: I promise you I get. I thought it's so gone,
- 41:51Speaker 1: I don't even know where all right, let me try
- 41:53Speaker 1: to get. Let me try to risk it, and I
- 41:56Speaker 1: want you to hear it right here. I don't know if, if, if,
- 41:59Speaker 1: if people are aware of this, but the most important
- 42:02Speaker 1: decision you were ever make in your life, after choosing
- 42:04Speaker 1: a believe in God is to make you choose to
- 42:06Speaker 1: spend the rest of your life with your mate will
- 42:10Speaker 1: either inspire you to grow into your greatness or they'll
- 42:12Speaker 1: can find you two complacency. There either be your other
- 42:15Speaker 1: half or they'll make you half for yourself the honorable.
- 42:18Speaker 1: When this was Farcn said, like a good relationship will
- 42:20Speaker 1: make you more youthful to bring out the best of you,
- 42:22Speaker 1: and a bad one will age you prematurely and bring
- 42:24Speaker 1: out the worst. So choose wisely. I don't know if
- 42:28Speaker 1: that right. There is a brother. I hope I'm saying
- 42:33Speaker 1: his name right. I think it's a man, just brother.
- 42:37Speaker 1: He's dynamite man. Every time I hear him talk, his
- 42:40Speaker 1: thing isn't Where is his name? I had him on
- 42:44Speaker 1: here one time. I can't find it. But his name
- 42:47Speaker 1: is Gail, not e a Gail. I think not this
- 42:52Speaker 1: not it. I got to find his name because I
- 42:54Speaker 1: want to get his brother credit. But this cat spoke
- 42:58Speaker 1: about that man, and I've listened to that thing probably
- 43:02Speaker 1: thirty times because I wish I had known this information.
- 43:08Speaker 1: So in essence, you know, you got to be careful
- 43:10Speaker 1: who you choose. So if look if if if you
- 43:14Speaker 1: got trouble before the marriage. It's only only gonna compound
- 43:17Speaker 1: after it. A minister told me one thing. The only
- 43:20Speaker 1: thing changes after the marriage is the appearance of your
- 43:24Speaker 1: left hand third finger. If he dogging you out now,
- 43:28Speaker 1: it's some more dog and it's coming. Yes. If he
- 43:33Speaker 1: don't love you now, some more loveless days is on
- 43:35Speaker 1: the way. So system, the writing is on the wall.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I strongly suggest you read it and gone about your
- 43:44Speaker 1: biss Better to get out now than to get in
- 43:47Speaker 1: and regret it. Choose wisely. I'm gonna get that brother's name, man,
- 43:54Speaker 1: because I gotta. I gotta give him credit for that one.
- 43:58Speaker 1: I had his name written down. You find it. I'm
- 44:02Speaker 1: proud of you. On the technical side, you ran that
- 44:04Speaker 1: little clip by yourself. They're pretty welcome. Thank you so much.
- 44:08Speaker 1: That baby, Look at that baby. Not too welcome. It again.
- 44:14Speaker 1: I bet you can't do it again. I bet you
- 44:15Speaker 1: can't do it again. Coming up next, it is the
- 44:19Speaker 1: Nephew and the prank phone call for today. Right after this,
- 44:22Speaker 1: you're listening morning show. Coming up at the top of
- 44:27Speaker 1: the hour, about four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter

- 44:34Speaker 1: to feel? I love that title. We'll see if Steve
- 44:38Speaker 1: wrote this letter in just a few because right now
- 44:41Speaker 1: it is time for the nephew and today's prank phone call.

- 45:08Speaker 1: turn them a hold cud, hold cud, wait, hold on,
- 45:12Speaker 1: let me put a little something of you. Na, Na,

- 45:32Speaker 1: but I'm trying to. Uh. It's a courtesy car we're

- 45:40Speaker 1: are you again, I'm exactly so you said you got

- 46:22Speaker 1: There's nobody on right now? Okay. Well, if no one
- 46:25Speaker 1: is here, then I have to follow through and continue

- 54:36Speaker 1: it is Growberry Letter. Thank you nephew. Subject Feel how
- 54:41Speaker 1: you want to feel? Just based on the title, we
- 54:45Speaker 1: think Steve wrote it, but we'll see as we get
- 54:47Speaker 1: into it. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a divorced mother of
- 54:52Speaker 1: two grown sons. I raised them in the church and
- 54:54Speaker 1: I taught them how to cook and do their own laundry.
- 54:57Speaker 1: They did not have a good example of manhood, but
- 55:00Speaker 1: I think the fact that their daddy and granddaddy's on
- 55:02Speaker 1: both sides were cheaters, they knew right from wrong. They
- 55:08Speaker 1: say how it could break up They saw how it
- 55:10Speaker 1: could break up families and knew it was wrong. One
- 55:14Speaker 1: of my sons is a ladies man, and he's always
- 55:17Speaker 1: got a different woman up under him, so I always
- 55:19Speaker 1: lecture him about settling down and finding a wife. My
- 55:22Speaker 1: youngest son is not as advanced in the dating department
- 55:26Speaker 1: as he should be at his age, and he's been
- 55:28Speaker 1: dating a girl for a while, and I told him
- 55:30Speaker 1: upfront that I don't like her, but I don't have
- 55:33Speaker 1: to date her. He does. This girl is controlling and
- 55:36Speaker 1: she doesn't have home training. She takes my son's car
- 55:40Speaker 1: and runs his gas out, and I told him to
- 55:42Speaker 1: stop letting her drive it. It is his job to
- 55:45Speaker 1: keep it gassed up for his needs. Not hers. She
- 55:48Speaker 1: hangs out with other guys and keeps telling my son
- 55:51Speaker 1: they're all just friends. He's always got some kind of
- 55:54Speaker 1: grief with her, and I sit on the phone with
- 55:57Speaker 1: him for hours trying to tell him how to be
- 55:59Speaker 1: more heartive with her. She called me the other day
- 56:02Speaker 1: and said she heard I've been talking about her the
- 56:05Speaker 1: nerve of this child. I told her that I don't
- 56:07Speaker 1: care what she heard, but she needs to stay in
- 56:10Speaker 1: her place and mind her manners. I told her that
- 56:12Speaker 1: I talk about her all the time and she can
- 56:15Speaker 1: feel how she wants to feel, feel how you want
- 56:17Speaker 1: to feel. But she better not ever come at me
- 56:21Speaker 1: like that again. I told her she needs her but
- 56:24Speaker 1: be but she took it the wrong way. She took
- 56:27Speaker 1: that the wrong way. My son asked if I threatened her,
- 56:30Speaker 1: and he took the girl's side over mine. I told
- 56:33Speaker 1: him to kiss my behind and don't speak to me
- 56:35Speaker 1: until she dumps him. Did I overreact in this case? Well,
- 56:40Speaker 1: I'll say this. You're a single mother and you are
- 56:43Speaker 1: their mother, and I get it. Feel how you want
- 56:45Speaker 1: to feel. I get it. You're doing what you know
- 56:47Speaker 1: to do to raise your sons to be strong and
- 56:49Speaker 1: self sufficient. You said they didn't have a good male
- 56:53Speaker 1: rock models growing up, so you were it as far
- 56:56Speaker 1: as examples and authority goes. And now they're grown and
- 57:00Speaker 1: going through relationship channels like everyone else that challenges like
- 57:03Speaker 1: everyone else in the world. Your son, the ladies man,
- 57:06Speaker 1: thinks he's got it all together and probably turns a
- 57:09Speaker 1: deaf ear I'm sure to your lectures on life and
- 57:12Speaker 1: all of that. And your younger son sounds like he's
- 57:15Speaker 1: whipped by this girl. That's what it is, mom, That's
- 57:18Speaker 1: why he took his side, her side over yours. You
- 57:21Speaker 1: really can't fight that whip appeal. You can't do it
- 57:24Speaker 1: right now anyway, Mom, So I suggest you back away,
- 57:27Speaker 1: stop telling him what to do, stop telling him you
- 57:30Speaker 1: don't like her, all of that. He knows all of this,
- 57:32Speaker 1: but he's still with her. Sometimes people, and especially our children,
- 57:38Speaker 1: have to make mistakes. They have to get that life
- 57:40Speaker 1: experience on their own. You can talk and talk and talk,
- 57:43Speaker 1: but you know they still want to do what they
- 57:45Speaker 1: want to do how they want to do it. So no, Mom,
- 57:47Speaker 1: you didn't overreact. I won't say you did that. You're
- 57:50Speaker 1: just a mom who loves her son and you doesn't
- 57:53Speaker 1: want him mistreat it or hurt it and hurt in
- 57:55Speaker 1: any way. And that's what's happening in this situation, and
- 57:58Speaker 1: there's really not too much you can do about it. Steve, Well,
- 58:03Speaker 1: here we go. Name of this letters feel how you
- 58:06Speaker 1: want to feel. It's not as not as severe or
- 58:10Speaker 1: a feel how you want to feel as I I
- 58:13Speaker 1: thought it would. Didn't take it to the level that
- 58:19Speaker 1: I exist. Stone on the data right, she's a divorced
- 58:26Speaker 1: mother with two grown sons. She didn't say they age,
- 58:30Speaker 1: but they grown. They don't live with her. They do
- 58:36Speaker 1: not live with her, so I know they've grown. I
- 58:38Speaker 1: can tell about the letter the way it was. Rick
- 58:41Speaker 1: grew up in the church, cook laundry. They do all
- 58:45Speaker 1: that they didn't have a good example of manhood. But
- 58:49Speaker 1: I think the fact that that daddy and granddaddy is
- 58:51Speaker 1: on both sides with cheetahs, they knew right from wrong. What.
- 58:57Speaker 1: I don't know how you came to that assessment, and
- 59:00Speaker 1: I disagree with that because they saw how I could
- 59:05Speaker 1: break up families and they knew it was wrong. Well,
- 59:10Speaker 1: that's not how me in process information. Sad to say,
- 59:13Speaker 1: we don't have time to go into that. But that's
- 59:16Speaker 1: not a true statement what you just made. It's not
- 59:20Speaker 1: that they didn't have good examples. They might have been
- 59:22Speaker 1: fine examples of a man who so I disagree with
- 59:27Speaker 1: that assessment. We don't have time. One of my sons
- 59:31Speaker 1: is a ladies man, and he's always got a different
- 59:33Speaker 1: woman up under him. So I always lecture him about
- 59:36Speaker 1: settling down and finding a wife. He's not ready for that.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Stop lecturing him. Always lecture him about settling down and
- 59:43Speaker 1: finding a wife. My younger son is not as advanced
- 59:46Speaker 1: in the dating department as he should be at his age.
- 59:49Speaker 1: He's been dating a girl for a while, and I
- 59:52Speaker 1: told him up front, I don't like a not make
- 59:54Speaker 1: up your mind now. You want your son to be
- 59:56Speaker 1: a player. You want your son to settle down, the
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: one that ain't got a woman up under him. Every
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: time you seem naw you want to talk to him
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: because he ain't as developed. Come on, lady, you're sending
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: the mixed signals here. When I come back to this letter,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I would just get to it rather quickly. You don't
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: have a major problem at all, You really don't. But
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I'll tell you what you should have did. All right, Steve,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after be our. The subject of today's
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: strawberry letter feel how you want to feel. We'll get
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: is feel how you want to feel? Well, this mother
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: too got these two grown sons, which makes this letter
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: not that desperate. She don't think they had a good
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: example of manhood because they granddaddies and daddy's on each
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: side with both cheetahs, and they know right from wrong
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: that it can mess up families. That has nothing to
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: do with this letter, though, sad to say, and I
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: saw you taking that time to assess it that way,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: but that's not how men process stuff. They could be
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: good men. Now you want your you guys, you say
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: you're one of your sons is got a woman up
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: under him all the time, and you keep lecturing him
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: about finding a wife and settling down. He ain't ready
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: for that. You can stop that conversation. See, because one
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: of the things that happened in him watching his grandfather's
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: was he saw that that he cheated and a messed
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: up family. So now he ain't gonna do that until
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: he ready for family. See that was some good in
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: these granddaddies and his and some good men. And he
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: learned some other other stuff too. Now the other one,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: you say, it's not advanced as for his age. So
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: he'd been dating a girl for a while, and I
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: told him a front, I don't like him. Okay, well
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: they ain't doing no good, but I don't have to
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: date them. He does. The girl is controlling, she doesn't
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: have home training. She takes my son's car, runs his
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: gas out. I told him stop letting a driving. That's
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: his car, it is. It is his job to keep
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: gassed up for his needs, not herd. She hangs out
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: with other guys and keeps telling my son they all
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: just friends. He's got some kind of grief with her.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: And I sit on the front. He always got some
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: grief with her. I sit on the phone. When I
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: was trying to tell him how to be more assertive
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: with her, she got to call. She running it out,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: She hanging the men because she given your son something
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: he ain't having fault. Now, your son might not be advanced,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: but damn it, she is. And you're absolutely correcting your assessment.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: But you can drive a train through his nostrils right
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: now because his nose wide on. That's old school. Yeah,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: and so you could talk to the so so told
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: you told him be more asserted with She called me
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: the other day and says she heard I've been talking
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: about the nervous child. I told her I don't care
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: what she heard, but she needs to stay in her place,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: in mind her manners. I told her that I talk
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: about her all the time, and she can feel how
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: she want to feel. That is when you should have
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: invited her over so to your house so she can
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: hear some of the stuff you say about her to
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: her face. That way, feel how you want to feel,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: then you can feel all of what I feel too. See,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna hurt your feelings, your little skank, little scalawag.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Setta put it on the old school side. Jezebel, hustle.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: You're running here and here with all the male friend.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Steven said, you can't be friends with all the men.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: She should have brought you into it. But she better
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: not ever come at me like that again. You got
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: that right, Mama. Don't ever let her come at you
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: like that again. I told her she needs her butt
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: beat but she took that the wrong weight. My son
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: asked if I threatened her, and that's what that means. See,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you really asked her, told her you need your ass
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: with it, and now she took it the wrong way
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: and told her son, you threatened her. I did. You
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: didn't read the subject out of let her feel how
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: you want to feel. It seemed to me like you
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: threatened me. Feel how you want to feel here, take
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: it in kind of where you want to as long
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: as you take it, and if you come over here,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: that ass quippon going down. My son asked if I
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: threatened her and he took the girl's side over mine.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: I told him to kiss my behind. I know you
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: didn't see. You don't believe you told him to kiss
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: your ass. I wish my soul would come on and
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: tell about what he's been to do for boy, you're
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: been to do it? When can we start? Now? Can
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: we start now? Anyway? I told him to kiss my
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: behind and don't speak to me until she dumped him.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Did I over act in this case? Hell no? Hell no.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: You said what you wanted to say and you didn't lie.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: See it be bit be different if you lie and
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: your son stupid, but he got to learn how to
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: be stupid. All of our children do stupid things. You
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: know why because they got it from us, because we
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: all did stupid things. Right, every time my sons do
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: something stupid, I go for this boy, tell him as
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: a donu, and then I go. Then I try to
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: rash like it ain't no win. Hell out of done that?
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Oh but I did something else though, right. Well, see
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: they didn't do it just like me because of technology,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: But I did the same. Damn. Then, no, you didn't overreact.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: How did your business? And next time you say something,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: you know, next time she say something tightening up, your
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: mamma threatened me. Mamma, you don't threatened, hud. Don't be
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: telling hun boys. Don't call my house telling me what
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: to do. When you're spending all my time every time
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: she hurt your feelings, you're sitting up on the phone
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: with me. Try to get some advice from me. I
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: gave you the damn advice. All the walking stop at
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: this dough Come on now. Thank you for posting your

- 1:09:34Speaker 1: you can't do this though. All right, junior, thank you,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. Coming up at the top of
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: the hour, this woman on social media needs some advice, Steve,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: She says, My boyfriend only argues when he gets drunk.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after that. What you're listening show, well, guys,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: our thoughts and our prayers are with the families of
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: the victims of the horrific, horrific mass shooting yesterday at
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: the Covenant Christian School in Nashville, Tennessee. Here is what
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: has been reported so far. Metro Nashville Police Department has
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: identified the shooter in monday school shooting that left three
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: children and three staff members dead and the suspect, twenty
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: eight year old Audrey Hale, fatally shot by responding police
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: officers at ten twenty seven am. The shooter had a
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: detailed map of Covenant School, a school for students in
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: preschool through sixth grade, and allegedly shot through the door
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: to gain entry to the school, police said Metro Nashville
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Police Chief John Drake said during a news conference on Monday,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: quote we know there were two Aar style rifles. One rifle,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: another was an Aar style pistol, and the other was
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: a handgun. We believe two of those may have been
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: obtained legally locally here. As far as a motive, Drake said,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: the shooter was once a student at the Covenant School
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: and the suspect's gender identity may have been involved. Drake said, quote,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: we have a manifesto, we have some writings that were
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: going over that they're going over, and police identify the
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: victims as three nine year olds, a sixty one year
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: old woman, a sixty year old substitute teacher who was
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: also head of the school, and a sixty one year
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: old custodian. Wow, it's a damn Jesus mercy for those
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: that live in Nashville, But for those who suffer with Nashville,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: it's just tragic, man. That And we still, we still
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: as a government, are not going to do anything about it. Now,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: we're going to do nothing about it. If that portion
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: of the story is true, that two of these girls
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: were purchased locally, legally, legally, suppose it was illegal to
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: purchase that good, wouldn't not have made it just a
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: little bit more difficult. That is no reason for us
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: to possess an assault weapon. It is what it says
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: it is. It is for assaults. So when these fools
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: by these guns, you expect the assault weapon not to
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: do what it was made to do assault. Are you
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: kidding me? Man? Look, I'm all for off. You want
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: to buy hunting rifles and hunting stuff, I'm all for off.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: You want a gun at your house to protect yourself
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: from people like this, I ain't got no problem with that.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Everybody can't have a gun, man, And we got to
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: do a better job of this, but you know what,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: we say this every single time, and that government of ours,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: your officials, your Republican conservatives, are not going to make
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: a single law to slow down stop the sale of
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: a weapon. Your Republican conservative law makers will vote to
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: pass no law to make you safer, not one when
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: it comes to weapons. Because the n r A is
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: the largest contributor to the Republican Party, and the Second
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Amendment gonna stay. And Biden keeps pushing, he keeps pushing
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: to remove this gun, and he not gonna win, not
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: gonna get it because money not moved to tears. When
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: y'all see these babies coming out of these schools because
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: called single time, because because calling it don't be none
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: of day babies. See y'all, y'alla. I want everybody to
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: hear me clear it. It's when it ain't your baby,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: you can turn a blind eye. But if a shooter
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: showed up, god forbid. I don't want this to happen
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: because I don't like when children. I don't like when
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: innocent people die. I don't like that. Now, if you
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: got some problem in your life and you want to

- 1:16:41Speaker 1: that's what makes us family, right, the argue really well,

- 1:16:58Speaker 1: That's where? Right? All of that? Yeah, that's us, well
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: you s all right? Moving on to would you rather
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: stay in a comfortable but unfulfilling relationship it's comfortable but unfulfilling,
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: or would you rather end it and just stay single indefinitely? No?
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: I like that comfortable and unfulfilling. Yeah, just fulfilled, just
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: with you. I just rather Yeah. I can't do that, Timmy,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I can't do that because I can't turn nobody to
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: say we have it sex night. No, okay, cool, that's
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: all unfulfilled again. Okay, that's okay, but at least it's there,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: you know, Okay, By Mary Junior, you are You're gonna
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: be real limited up in hill, be laying up even
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Kroger Chicken, I promise what you got see. Well, once again,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say this, both of them suck because
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: I've been in both and say that sometimes these Would
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: you rather for me? It ain't no, would you rather?
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: It's it's what happened? Do you? Would you rather be
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: traveled in a room with a venomous snake? Or would
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: you rather be stranded on a desert island with a
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: group of cannibals. I'm gonna get on that island. Yeah,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: and now I'm gonna act like I'm with them. I'm
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: gonna do better than that. I'm gonna eat them, eat,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: be eating. But that snake. Don't do the snakes alright
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: on how big this room is, I can work with it.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: I don't kill the snake. Oh so you might can
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: do either one. Then I'm steve. I'm gonna kill the
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: snake though. Okay, but what do you know what? I
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: didn't killed a bunch of them. You make the wrong
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: mood though, you slip. If you slip him, you cannot slip.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: It's over. You got that mache. You cannot slip watch
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: the step that's today's rounded would you rather thank you? Guys?
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is our last break of the day,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: and we'll have some closing remarks from the one and
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: on least Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening all right, guys,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: this Tuesday. Wow, the show went by fast today, it
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: seems yeah, uh it really did. Wow. Uh Hey hey Steve. Earlier,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: you know, we had a question from one of our
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: listeners at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve, where you
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: can leave Steve a boicemail? Well, anyway, this young lady
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: left you a boicemail. She had a relationship question for you.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Can we play that again? Please? Dave, yes, because I
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: want I want to share. So Hey, uncle Steve Sence.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I have been in the relationship for five years, just recently.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: We were engaged a year ago. Everything was good as
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: engaged for the first teas in the last three months changed.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: He has drastically changed. I've been begging to go on
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: a trip for two years. He never had a time,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: but now all of a sudden we found time to
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: go to Baby Silf. I also recently learned that that
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: he I'm a parting anything to help. I do believe
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: that I gives on the wall, but I just don't know.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: Hound if you've been kissing some science, I would really
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: appreciate how much and let you know I know about
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: the apartment. Thank you. Well, here's a deal, the apartment.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: After five years of David asked you to marry him.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: You've been begging to go on a trip for two years,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: never went. He finally took a trip to Vegas about himself.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: You found out that there has been an apartment the
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: entire time that you knew nothing about. Then you say
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: the writing is on the wall. My suggestion, as I
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: said earlier, then you should read the wall and act
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: according Now what I want to do is I want
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: to play something from a brother. I got his name
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: right now. His name is Neurie Mohammed. In you AREI
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Neurie Mohammed. I saw a video of him on relationships.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: I played this probably thirty times total, could probably more.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: It actually teared me up because I looked back at
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: my life and I made the mistake. And I want
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: you only hear this. This is a brother named Neuri Mohammed,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: and this is what he said about relationship can do
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: it so well. All right, here we go for a
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: more time here. I don't know if if if if
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: people are aware of this, but the most important decision
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: you were ever making your life after choosing to believe
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: in God, is to make you choose to spend the
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: rest of your life. Your mate will either inspire you
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: to grow into your greatness, so they'll confine you too complacency.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: There either be your other half or they'll make you
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: half for yourself. The honorable when this was fact said
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: like a good relationship will make you more you ful
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: to bring out the best of you, and a bad
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: one will age you prematurely and bring out the worst.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: But wisely, I don't know if if I think that's
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: one of the most profound things I've heard about a relationship.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Because your other half will ever will either make you better,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: inspire you to greatness, or will make you become half
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: of yourself. Half of your potential can get wasted if
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: you're the wrong person that you're choosing or mate can
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: inspire you to greatness or condemn you to complacence. That's
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: a powerful thing, and it is the most important decision
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: you will make. Who you choose to spend the rest
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: of your life with. I thought I was making these
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: decisions before, but I was ill equipped. I was just
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: ill equipped, man, and and I saw the signs in
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: one of them. The writing was on the wall for me,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: and I didn't read it. I've done that before. If
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: I were you, I would read the writing on the wall.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Why you think you looking at it? Though? Why you?
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: Why are you able to read it? Because it's there?
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: Judge Lyntola told me some one time on the show.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: She said, women should stop collecting red flags. What you're
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: saving them for? These these ain't badges of honor, These
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: ain't pennance, These ain't hurls of wisdom. When you see
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: a red flag, leave it in the ground, get in
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: your car and go home. Stop collecting red flags. The
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: red flags are obvious in this young Ladies call. She's desperate.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: But man, wouldn't it be good to stay out of
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: something that's gonna lead you to doom and misery? Because
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: you're miserable? Now he's changed, You say, he's become distant.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: He got an apartment you don't know nothing about. He
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: taking trips to Vegas without you. Let me tell you
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: something I used to go to Vegas all the time.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: You know why I went to Vegas man back in
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: the day, because I was allowed to participate in everything
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: I enjoy doing, indoor, legal, all of it. I could
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: gamble legally, I could smoke cigars indoors legally, and women.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: So I'm sitting there going what Vegas is an adult playground?
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Going out to buy yourself? What the hell you mean
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: by yourself? Don't know, but listen to me. Nobody goes
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: to Vegas by their self. Somebody. You gotta take, somebody
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: to keep my eyes. Y'all just watch each other. Cousin
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: fit to pop off down hill. Regular people, unless you're
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: a professional gambler, you do not go to Vegas by yourself.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: That's all I got to say. I want to thank
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: brother Nuri Mohammed Man. One of the greatest messages I've
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: seen on relationship of all time. Nuriy Mohammed. You're a
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: bad man. I've heard you speak on several subjects. Great,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: great brother man. Thank you so much, Soldier Nuriy Mohammad Man. Hey,
