Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Radicalization of the Democratic Party as Mamdani heads for Mayor of NYC
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: There is a guy that is a socialist who is
- 0:03Speaker 1: about to be elected to be the leader of New
- 0:06Speaker 1: York City. How did this happen? How did we get
- 0:10Speaker 1: to this point? Senator Cruz and I sit down to
- 0:12Speaker 1: talk about this and what it means for the Republican
- 0:15Speaker 1: Party as well moving forward. So, Senator, this is a
- 0:18Speaker 1: really interesting moment, and I really do think it's important
- 0:22Speaker 1: for us to just kind of take a step back
- 0:26Speaker 1: look at the Democratic Party. I was doing Shinnon Breems
- 0:29Speaker 1: show Fox News Sunday, and the first topic we talked
- 0:32Speaker 1: about was Mindanni winning. We talked about the race in
- 0:35Speaker 1: New Jersey and a couple others, but everyone was focused
- 0:38Speaker 1: on Mendanni. And I made the argument that this is
- 0:42Speaker 1: now just the Democratic Party embracing what they are Marxist socialists, communists.
- 0:47Speaker 1: They're fully embracing it. He is the face of the
- 0:50Speaker 1: Democratic Party. I actually think it's a gift that's going
- 0:53Speaker 1: to give to conservatives and Republican cans the midterms like
- 0:56Speaker 1: we've never seen before. And if this is the type
- 0:59Speaker 1: of here they want AOC two point zero even more
- 1:02Speaker 1: extreme than AOC, that's hard to say, it's shocking, but
- 1:05Speaker 1: I mean, we went from AOC. We went from Bernie
- 1:07Speaker 1: Sanders to AOC to Mandanni and and the Democratic Party
- 1:13Speaker 1: has decided not to police this at all.
- 1:16Speaker 2: So Ben I got to say, I came up with
- 1:18Speaker 2: a mnemonic today, so pronounce the guy's name who's about
- 1:21Speaker 2: to be mayor of New York.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Mandanni.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Nope, so I got it wrong.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I sent around a tweet with any of them.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I sent around a tweet and I realized I misspelled
- 1:35Speaker 2: his name, and look, it's not a name you and
- 1:37Speaker 2: I are terribly used to. But I came up with
- 1:39Speaker 2: the mnemonic to figure it out. It's m A M
- 1:42Speaker 2: as in Mary d A n y and I actually
- 1:45Speaker 2: invert the N and the M. I call him Mandani
- 1:47Speaker 2: and that's not it. And and the way I figured
- 1:50Speaker 2: out the mnemonic was, ma'am, it's Danny because it's Mam Danny,
- 1:55Speaker 2: which is really hard like you keep saying, but it's
- 1:58Speaker 2: not m an, it's may And I'm just look if
- 2:03Speaker 2: we're But the only way to say ma'm Danny is
- 2:06Speaker 2: if you proceed it with comrade, because when I'm addressing communists,
- 2:10Speaker 2: I call him comrades because that is who he is.
- 2:12Speaker 2: And by the way, if you think that By the way,
- 2:16Speaker 2: let's be clear, Ben, you will think of my mnemonic.
- 2:19Speaker 2: You're gonna be Mammotstanni. You're you're gonna be on the radio,
- 2:22Speaker 2: you're gonna be doing CNN, and you're gonna think mammo's Stanni.
- 2:26Speaker 2: You will repeat it. It will it will be a little
- 2:29Speaker 2: voice in the back of your head and you won't
- 2:31Speaker 2: screw it up. And our listeners want either. But just
- 2:33Speaker 2: a show. I'm not engaged in hyperbole. Maybe you're saying, oh,
- 2:36Speaker 2: come on, he can't.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Be that bad.
- 2:38Speaker 2: He's not an actual communist. I want to I want
- 2:41Speaker 2: you to listen to what his father said. That this
- 2:44Speaker 2: is comrade, Ma'm Danny's father talking about his view of
- 2:49Speaker 2: the United States, and just play the clip.
- 2:52Speaker 3: America is the genesis of what we call settler colonialism,
- 2:58Speaker 3: and the American model was exported all around the world.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Abraham Lincoln generalized the solution of reservations. They herded American
- 3:11Speaker 3: Indians into separate territories for the Nazis. For the Nazis.
- 3:20Speaker 3: This was the inspiration. Hitler realized two things. One that
- 3:27Speaker 3: genocide was doable. It is possible to do genocide. That's
- 3:33Speaker 3: what Hitler realized. Second, thing Hitler realized is that you
- 3:40Speaker 3: don't have to have a common citizenship. You can differentiate
- 3:44Speaker 3: between people. The Nuremberg laws were patterned after American laws. Anyway,
- 3:52Speaker 3: the US put Indians in reservations. The US invented the model.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's where he gets his teachings from.
- 4:03Speaker 1: That's pretty clear.
- 4:05Speaker 2: So listen, I want you to hear what Mendanni's dad
- 4:09Speaker 2: just said. Abraham Lincoln was the model for Adolph Hitler,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and the Nazis got concentration camps from the United States
- 4:21Speaker 2: of America. Now let me just ask him just I
- 4:24Speaker 2: want to ask you, Ben, seriously and fairly, someone who
- 4:27Speaker 2: says that. Do you think he loves America?
- 4:31Speaker 1: No, I think he hates America. I think he wants
- 4:32Speaker 1: to trash America. I think he thinks America is literally
- 4:35Speaker 1: the enemy of him.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Now, is there any indication, any whatsoever that Comrade Mondani's
- 4:43Speaker 2: the son his views are one iota different from daddy's.
- 4:50Speaker 4: No.
- 4:51Speaker 1: In fact, it's almost like one one for one super
- 4:54Speaker 1: clone is the way I would describe it.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Well, okay, but but but let's let's let's play devil's advocate.
- 5:00Speaker 2: You know, look, sometimes dads are whack jobs and sons
- 5:03Speaker 2: become more reasonable. And Comrade Mandani, I mean, he did
- 5:07Speaker 2: live in New York. He's presumably got some affection for
- 5:11Speaker 2: the people of New York. He's running for governor New York.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Surely something like what happened on September eleventh. Surely that
- 5:17Speaker 2: impacted him. The entire world watched in horror as radical
- 5:21Speaker 2: Islamic terrorists flew not one but two planes into the
- 5:24Speaker 2: World Trade Center, murdering between the World Trade Center and
- 5:28Speaker 2: the Pentagon, murdering roughly three thousand Americans in that horrible
- 5:32Speaker 2: morning in September. Surely young Comrade Mamdami was horrified at
- 5:38Speaker 2: what he saw and horrified at the mass slaughter. Well,
- 5:42Speaker 2: let's give a listen to what in his own words,
- 5:45Speaker 2: this is not Daddy, this is the sun. The comrade.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Here's what he said he thought the day after September eleventh.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Give a listen.
- 5:56Speaker 5: I want to use this moment to speak to the
- 5:57Speaker 5: Muslims of New York City. I want to speak to
- 6:02Speaker 5: the memory of my aunt who stopped taking the subway
- 6:06Speaker 5: after September eleventh because she did not feel safe in
- 6:09Speaker 5: her hijab.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I mean, let's go back to the quote there sat
- 6:15Speaker 1: my aunt stopped taking the subway after nine to eleven
- 6:18Speaker 1: because she did not feel safe in her hjab. He's
- 6:22Speaker 1: actually claiming that she is the victim of nine to eleven.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Well, and let's be clear, among all of the sentiments,
- 6:31Speaker 2: did he express I looked at those planes flying into
- 6:34Speaker 2: the towers, and I felt horrified. But by the way,
- 6:38Speaker 2: as a Muslim, he presumably could say I was horrified
- 6:40Speaker 2: by someone who shares my faith could be so radicalized
- 6:43Speaker 2: as to murder three thousand people. He actually could say
- 6:46Speaker 2: something powerful there. He didn't say that. He didn't say
- 6:49Speaker 2: I mourned for the people at the top of that
- 6:51Speaker 2: tower as flames roared around them, who faced a choice
- 6:55Speaker 2: between burning alive and jumping to their death. And you
- 6:58Speaker 2: and I both watched those mornings in a horror as
- 7:02Speaker 2: people leapt from one hundred stories high and fell to
- 7:06Speaker 2: their death because the alternative was to burn alive. Like
- 7:10Speaker 2: it was a moment America was under attack. And yet somehow,
- 7:14Speaker 2: Comrade Mondami that that is I can't pronounce his name either,
- 7:17Speaker 2: even with my naemonica, I'm getting it wrong. But somehow
- 7:20Speaker 2: he doesn't express that sentiment. He's like the horror is
- 7:26Speaker 2: the next day my aunt couldn't wear her job. And
- 7:30Speaker 2: by the way, for all of the leftist rhetoric that
- 7:34Speaker 2: the crime of nine to eleven was Islamophobia, I'm not
- 7:38Speaker 2: aware of a meaningful uptick in violence against Muslims in
- 7:42Speaker 2: New York. I actually remember this country coming together, coming together, strongly,
- 7:47Speaker 2: embracing each other, unifying. I remember President George W. Bush,
- 7:51Speaker 2: and I think the finest moment of his presidency, standing
- 7:54Speaker 2: on the rubble in New York City holding a bullhorn,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and when someone from the with firefighters all around, called out,
- 8:02Speaker 2: we can't hear you, he said, I can hear you,
- 8:04Speaker 2: and soon the world will hear you. The people that
- 8:06Speaker 2: knock down these towers will hear you. That was a
- 8:11Speaker 2: moment where if you had the tiniest bit of love
- 8:15Speaker 2: for America, you don't have to be the most patriotic soul.
- 8:18Speaker 2: You just have to give a tiny little crap about
- 8:23Speaker 2: the United States of America. You felt a surge of yes,
- 8:28Speaker 2: we will stand strong against the vicious murderers who attacked us.
- 8:33Speaker 2: And yet comrade Mondami expresses none of that. Apparently nine
- 8:38Speaker 2: to eleven was all about. And look, he was clear,
- 8:41Speaker 2: I'm talking to the Muslims. By the way, if you're Jewish,
- 8:43Speaker 2: and I got to say, it is astonishing some significant
- 8:47Speaker 2: percentage of Jewish voters in New York or voting for
- 8:51Speaker 2: comrade Mondami. I don't get that. It's like if you
- 8:55Speaker 2: go to a farm and go to the lambs and
- 9:00Speaker 2: the sheep and say, hey, we would like to have
- 9:03Speaker 2: an election to select the butcher like he views them,
- 9:08Speaker 2: I believe, as the enemy. And yet you have voters.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And by the way, there are wealthy socialites on the
- 9:18Speaker 2: Upper east Side who were voting for him and are
- 9:22Speaker 2: perfectly oblivious. You know, when Comrade Danni abolishes the police
- 9:29Speaker 2: and a crackhead kicks in their front door suddenly there.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Let me ask you, Ben, seriously, you spend a lot.
- 9:39Speaker 2: You spent more time in New York than I have.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I mean, you were a say at end contributor for
- 9:42Speaker 2: like eeteen years. Help me try to get in the mind.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Let's assume you're a multi millionaire Upper east Side socialite.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Try to explain the thinking of saying I want to
- 9:56Speaker 2: vote for a communist jihadist.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's it's very interesting because there's I think
- 10:03Speaker 1: there's two things here is we as we really break
- 10:06Speaker 1: this down. One, I think that to be a socialite
- 10:11Speaker 1: in New York it is now a mandate that you're
- 10:14Speaker 1: a liberal Democrat, you will not rise in the New
- 10:17Speaker 1: York ranks or the Hamptons if you're a hardcore conservative.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I think that's that's part of it is just.
- 10:23Speaker 2: And by the way, to be clear, the alternative.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Here where it's going right.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but but to be clear, the alternative here, we're
- 10:29Speaker 2: talking to Andrew friggin Cuomo. We're not talking to the
- 10:33Speaker 2: right wing. We're not talking Donald Trump, we're not talking
- 10:35Speaker 2: Ted Cruz. We're talking to Andrew fg frigging Cuomo, a
- 10:39Speaker 2: left wing Democrat, corrupt woman grabbing like like like, I'm
- 10:44Speaker 2: not a big Cuomo fan, But it's not like if
- 10:48Speaker 2: you're a New York voter you have to suddenly pull
- 10:51Speaker 2: the lever for Jesse Hilms. And yet, given the choice
- 10:57Speaker 2: between a solidly left wing Democrat and a full on
- 11:02Speaker 2: communist and I believe America hating Jahatist, it sure looks
- 11:10Speaker 2: like I hope these polls are wrong and maybe a
- 11:12Speaker 2: burst of sanity will pull us back, but it sure
- 11:16Speaker 2: looks like a ton of New Yorkers are going to say, Nope, nope,
- 11:19Speaker 2: I don't want partial lefty, I want full on.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I want COMI. Every so often, something happens that
- 11:28Speaker 1: reminds us just how fragile our freedoms are. We can't
- 11:32Speaker 1: afford to take our rights for granted. We must draw
- 11:34Speaker 1: a line in the sand, and our friends at Patriot
- 11:38Speaker 1: Mobile have been doing just that for more than twelve years.
- 11:42Speaker 1: The truth is there is only one provider that boldly
- 11:45Speaker 1: stands in the gap for Americans who believe freedom is
- 11:48Speaker 1: we're fighting for, and that company is Patriot Mobile. Not
- 11:52Speaker 1: only are they leading the red economy, they're also outpacing
- 11:55Speaker 1: the competition in technology. Patriot Mobile is one of the
- 12:00Speaker 1: the only carriers offering premium access to all three major
- 12:05Speaker 1: US networks, giving you nationwide coverage and service that you
- 12:08Speaker 1: can count on day after day. They also offer unlimited
- 12:12Speaker 1: data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming, internet backup, in so
- 12:17Speaker 1: much more, and switching has never been easier. You can
- 12:21Speaker 1: activate in minutes on your phone from your home or
- 12:25Speaker 1: your office, and you keep your same number. You've got
- 12:27Speaker 1: now keep your same phone or upgrade to a new one.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And this is where the magic happens. Every month, about
- 12:33Speaker 1: five percent of your bill is given back to conservative
- 12:36Speaker 1: causes at no extra cost to you that stand up
- 12:39Speaker 1: for our First and our Second Amendment rights, the rights
- 12:42Speaker 1: of unborn children, and are wounded warriors and those that
- 12:46Speaker 1: have fought for a country and wear a badge. So
- 12:49Speaker 1: take a stand today and make a difference with every
- 12:52Speaker 1: call you make. Patriot mobile dot com slash ferguson or
- 12:57Speaker 1: nine to seven to two Patriot. Use the promo code
- 13:01Speaker 1: ferguson for a free month of service as well. That's
- 13:04Speaker 1: patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven to patriot
- 13:09Speaker 1: And make the switch and make a difference with every
- 13:12Speaker 1: call you make. The other thing that's interesting is I
- 13:15Speaker 1: was as I was in New York last it was
- 13:16Speaker 1: last week. I'm up there almost every other week now,
- 13:19Speaker 1: and I talked to a lot of the people there
- 13:21Speaker 1: that live there, and I'm like, I explain this to me.
- 13:24Speaker 1: They feel like they lost so many sane voters because
- 13:29Speaker 1: of the COVID lockdown.
- 13:30Speaker 2: They're all in Florida.
- 13:31Speaker 1: This is now just yeah, they all went to Florida.
- 13:34Speaker 1: They all moved out. The sane voters just left. The
- 13:38Speaker 1: crazy stayed under you know, tyrants like Cuomo who locked
- 13:43Speaker 1: them down and took their lives away from them for
- 13:45Speaker 1: two years and wouldn't allow them to even leave their
- 13:48Speaker 1: houses or go out or do anything. It was a
- 13:50Speaker 1: ghost town. We all know New York was a ghost
- 13:52Speaker 1: town for a very long time because the lockdown's there.
- 13:56Speaker 1: And so you lost a large group of voters that
- 13:59Speaker 1: were saying I'm not saying conservative, I'm just saying they
- 14:03Speaker 1: weren't socialist, communist type voters. And this is now what
- 14:07Speaker 1: you're left with. And so I now look at this,
- 14:10Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, Mandatti wins. I think it's pretty
- 14:13Speaker 1: clear he's going to be the mayor.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Of don't concede that. I'm actually not willing to concede that.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I'm going to hold out hope until the last vote
- 14:21Speaker 2: is counted. It sure looks like that from the polling,
- 14:24Speaker 2: but but I'm not willing to concede that. And by
- 14:26Speaker 2: the way, you might think, Look, one of the things
- 14:29Speaker 2: we try to do on Verdict is we try to
- 14:31Speaker 2: be real. So so we try not to engage in
- 14:34Speaker 2: just partisan rhetoric and hyperbole. Like when I call him
- 14:38Speaker 2: a communist jahatist, I call him a communist because He's
- 14:42Speaker 2: called for, among other things, seizing the means of production,
- 14:46Speaker 2: which is the very essence of the economic core of communism. Yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 2: I call him a jahatist. Okay, let me read you
- 14:56Speaker 2: from his tweet on October seventeenth. Quote. Today, at Masjig
- 15:04Speaker 2: Masjid al Taqua, I had the pleasure of meeting with
- 15:07Speaker 2: Imam Siraj Wahaj, one of the nation's foremost Muslim leaders
- 15:12Speaker 2: and a pillar of the Bedsty community for nearly a
- 15:15Speaker 2: half century. I was also joined by CM doctor Yusuf
- 15:18Speaker 2: Salam of Harlem, a beautiful jumma. And he sends out
- 15:22Speaker 2: a tweet. Now, who is the person that he's taking
- 15:25Speaker 2: a picture with? Well, this particular Imam is in fact
- 15:33Speaker 2: an unindicted co conspirator in the nineteen ninety three World
- 15:38Speaker 2: Trade Center bombing that killed six people. He also preached
- 15:44Speaker 2: that homosexuality is a disease. And by the way, there
- 15:48Speaker 2: are a bunch of left wing gay and lesbian people
- 15:51Speaker 2: in New York who are voting for this guy. And
- 15:55Speaker 2: he also called for an unarmed quote army of ten
- 16:01Speaker 2: thousand men to wage a gun free Jahad through New
- 16:06Speaker 2: York City. That's what the Emam called for that's who
- 16:10Speaker 2: Comrade Mamdani poses for a picture with and tweets out
- 16:15Speaker 2: three weeks before the election. He's not hiding it, he's saying, yeah,
- 16:20Speaker 2: he will stand with the Jahadis against you, the innocent citizens.
- 16:26Speaker 2: And I got to tell you look to give you
- 16:28Speaker 2: a sense also of just how whacked out the Democratic
- 16:34Speaker 2: Socialist of America, which is Comrade Madani's party, just yesterday
- 16:43Speaker 2: they put out a statement calling on the United States
- 16:47Speaker 2: to release Elias Rodriguez. Who is Elias Rodriguez. Elias Rodriguez
- 16:55Speaker 2: is the deranged terrorist who executed two Jews in Washington,
- 17:01Speaker 2: d C. This spring. And you recall this Elias Rodriguez,
- 17:06Speaker 2: by the way, he's not a Palestinian, He's an Hispanic
- 17:09Speaker 2: dude from Chicago. But he's a left winger who was
- 17:13Speaker 2: suckled on the teat of Marxism and America hate and
- 17:17Speaker 2: Jew hate. That that is the left. And he murdered
- 17:22Speaker 2: this young couple who had just been engaged. As you know,
- 17:25Speaker 2: I didn't know this young couple, but a fact I
- 17:28Speaker 2: discovered after they were murdered. The two of them met
- 17:32Speaker 2: at an event where I was speaking, and I knew
- 17:36Speaker 2: multiple friends of mine who knew them well. And it
- 17:38Speaker 2: was literally I was the speaker at the event. They
- 17:40Speaker 2: both came to it. They were both involved in the
- 17:42Speaker 2: pro Israel community. They met, they fell in love, and
- 17:45Speaker 2: this lunatic didn't shoot them once he unloaded his entire
- 17:49Speaker 2: magazine into the two of them, murdering a young man
- 17:52Speaker 2: and a young woman simply because they were Jewish. He
- 17:54Speaker 2: didn't know them. All he knew was these are Jews.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I must murder them. He screamed, Free Palestine. Now let
- 18:01Speaker 2: me read what the DSA Liberation Caucus put out, which
- 18:06Speaker 2: is the Democrats Socialists of America excellent statement that we
- 18:11Speaker 2: are proud to add our name to free Elias Rodriguez
- 18:17Speaker 2: and all political prisoners. So understand, Comrade Mundami's political party
- 18:26Speaker 2: is telling the world that a terrorist who murders in
- 18:32Speaker 2: cold blood to Jews because they're Jews, should not be charged,
- 18:37Speaker 2: should not be prosecuted, should be let to go free,
- 18:40Speaker 2: presumably because killing Jews in the interest of their radical
- 18:46Speaker 2: leftist ideology is deserving of no punishment. They're not saying
- 18:51Speaker 2: let him serve a month in jail. They're not saying
- 18:54Speaker 2: let him serve a week in jail. They're saying let
- 18:56Speaker 2: him go today with no consequence. This is whatsoever for
- 19:01Speaker 2: the cold blooded murder of two innocent people.
- 19:05Speaker 1: That is.
- 19:08Speaker 2: The party of comrade Mondami, who, by all appearances in
- 19:15Speaker 2: the polling, is about to become the next mayor of
- 19:18Speaker 2: New York City. And I will say, listen, Ben, there
- 19:21Speaker 2: are a lot of Republicans who are saying what you
- 19:25Speaker 2: said is, which is Hey, this is great for Republicans,
- 19:27Speaker 2: it's great for conservatives. This will show the world just
- 19:29Speaker 2: how whacked out the left is. I got to tell you,
- 19:32Speaker 2: my heart grieves. Listen, New York it is a great
- 19:38Speaker 2: American city. It is still the center of finance in
- 19:42Speaker 2: America and the world. It is the center of media
- 19:44Speaker 2: at America in the world. And much like I agree
- 19:48Speaker 2: for San Francisco, an iconic American city. Look, San Francisco
- 19:52Speaker 2: doesn't embrace your values of mine. But I don't like
- 19:55Speaker 2: to see lunatics like Gavin Newsom and other leftists destroying
- 20:00Speaker 2: cities that are a central part of who America is.
- 20:04Speaker 2: And I got to say, I think a huge problem
- 20:07Speaker 2: with what's happening in New York is young people. Young
- 20:11Speaker 2: young people in their twenties who have college degrees, who
- 20:14Speaker 2: were radicalized in college, who sat in the student lounges
- 20:20Speaker 2: drinking lattes and smoking clothes cigarettes and and or actually
- 20:25Speaker 2: bongs or whatever and close thing.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Don't forget that. I don't know, but the hand I
- 20:32Speaker 1: don't know.
- 20:32Speaker 2: What you and I were kids. People smoke clob cigarettes.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I actually don't even know if college kids do now
- 20:37Speaker 2: that that that but whatever they were doing.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Age yourself center, I think you did.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Look, you know, I'm going to be fifty five in December,
- 20:47Speaker 2: so it's uh, but the beauty of beauty of it
- 20:49Speaker 2: is in the Senate, they still think I'm twelve. I mean,
- 20:53Speaker 2: like the median age is one hundred and six tru
- 20:55Speaker 2: and so you know, they they think I'm running around
- 20:58Speaker 2: in short shorts with a beanie. But you know, it's
- 21:04Speaker 2: a bunch of twenty somethings who have never known anything
- 21:08Speaker 2: except college life, and they've been suckled on the lies
- 21:12Speaker 2: of their Marxist professors, and they think, yes, join the revolution,
- 21:17Speaker 2: globalize the Intofada. They don't even necessarily know what it means,
- 21:22Speaker 2: but they feel. And by the way, they're also unhappy
- 21:27Speaker 2: with life and angst and and a lot of these
- 21:29Speaker 2: twenty four year olds. You are mad that they're not
- 21:32Speaker 2: billionaires and driving Lamborghinis yet, and so they're like, Okay,
- 21:37Speaker 2: let's just attack the actual billionaires who built companies and
- 21:41Speaker 2: that'll make me feel better.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Well, and it's New York City now, I mean it
- 21:45Speaker 1: really is. There are so many people there. They're going
- 21:47Speaker 1: to vote for him because he has basically turned public
- 21:51Speaker 1: Enemy number one into successful New Yorkers that are wealthy,
- 21:55Speaker 1: and he's saying that they've stolen something from you that
- 21:58Speaker 1: you never had, and we're going to take some of
- 22:00Speaker 1: it back and give it to you. It's buying votes
- 22:03Speaker 1: one oh one. Your life sucks because of these evil
- 22:06Speaker 1: rich people that have all the one percenters. It's occupy
- 22:10Speaker 1: Wall Street two point zero or three point oh, whatever
- 22:12Speaker 1: version you want to describe this as. And I think
- 22:15Speaker 1: that's the part that scares me the most is that
- 22:18Speaker 1: you can now lose another great American city the way
- 22:22Speaker 1: that you describe San Francisco. Look at places like Detroit, Atlanta, Baltimore, Memphis,
- 22:26Speaker 1: the list goes on and on. The only good news
- 22:28Speaker 1: is there is a cause and effect. And I think
- 22:32Speaker 1: that's why Donald Trump got elected. I think that's also
- 22:35Speaker 1: why it's being so successful right now. That's why I say, hey,
- 22:38Speaker 1: I need an aoc A Mandani to remind America you
- 22:42Speaker 1: don't want any part of this, and Conservatives are getting
- 22:45Speaker 1: it done for you right now. I think that's the
- 22:47Speaker 1: blessing in disguise. Here.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Look, the unfortunate thing is, and I don't think this
- 22:51Speaker 2: is hyperbole. People are going to die if and when
- 22:55Speaker 2: Comrade Mondami is elected that that is going to be
- 22:59Speaker 2: the savage listen. I was in New York on Friday,
- 23:03Speaker 2: so I was there campaigning for Mike Lawler. Mike Lawler
- 23:06Speaker 2: is a Republican congressman from New York. He's in one
- 23:09Speaker 2: of the most competitive districts in America. Mike's a good guy.
- 23:12Speaker 2: He is not as conservative as you and I are,
- 23:16Speaker 2: but given that district he is. He is a Republican
- 23:20Speaker 2: who gets elected and you get He's as conservatives you
- 23:23Speaker 2: can get, and he fights for his district. And I
- 23:26Speaker 2: like Mike, and he asked me, will you come up
- 23:28Speaker 2: and campaign? And so I joined him. I joined him
- 23:30Speaker 2: number one at the Conservative Party of New York that
- 23:33Speaker 2: they had a big dinner and they had me come
- 23:34Speaker 2: in and speak and I actually said something I said,
- 23:36Speaker 2: if comrade Mamdani is elected, I'm going to make a
- 23:40Speaker 2: nomination right now, which is a year from now. I
- 23:44Speaker 2: want to name him the Conservative Party of New York
- 23:47Speaker 2: Man of the Year because Comrade Modani is going to
- 23:50Speaker 2: make more people join the Conservative Party in New York
- 23:54Speaker 2: than anyone has in history as they realize these people
- 23:59Speaker 2: are nuts. Uh And and I'm gonna make a second
- 24:02Speaker 2: nomination if he is elected. I'm gonnam gonna make this
- 24:05Speaker 2: nomination now. And remember the state. Write this down, Diaz
- 24:08Speaker 2: our producer, write this date down a year from now,
- 24:11Speaker 2: bring it, bring it up, and on this podcast, I
- 24:14Speaker 2: am going to nominate right now comrade Mondani as the
- 24:19Speaker 2: Texas Realature of the Year because not only is he
- 24:22Speaker 2: going to drive New Yorkers to join the Republican Party
- 24:25Speaker 2: and the Conservative Party, but he is going to result
- 24:29Speaker 2: He is going to rent more U hauls than the
- 24:33Speaker 2: very best Willie Lowman salesman that has ever been in
- 24:37Speaker 2: U haul of people moving from New York and coming
- 24:40Speaker 2: to Texas and coming to Florida. And anyone with any
- 24:43Speaker 2: sense is going to get out of this. Gaveners, he
- 24:46Speaker 2: is Gavin Newsom. And by the way, okay, did you
- 24:49Speaker 2: hear Gavin Newsom on the podcast discussing his rough, hard
- 24:53Speaker 2: scrabble life eating wonderbread growing up in the hood. Because
- 24:57Speaker 2: you know, Gavin was was a an oppressed youth. Did
- 25:03Speaker 2: you see that.
- 25:04Speaker 1: It was almost as oppressed as he was during the
- 25:06Speaker 1: COVID lockdowns when he was the only one allowed to
- 25:07Speaker 1: have dinner with his friends without mass on. You know.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Look, to be clear, Gavin Newsom is California Royalties, fourth
- 25:14Speaker 2: or fifth generation California old money. His daddy was one
- 25:21Speaker 2: of the lead lawyers for the Getty billionaire fortune. He
- 25:28Speaker 2: grew up, he was featured in the San Francisco Paper
- 25:31Speaker 2: in an article entitled growing Up Rich. And to be clear,
- 25:35Speaker 2: he started a winery with the Getty millions billions actually,
- 25:39Speaker 2: but millions from them. Started a winery at age twenty five. Now, Benjamin,
- 25:43Speaker 2: let me ask you, did you start a winery at
- 25:45Speaker 2: h twenty five?
- 25:47Speaker 1: No?
- 25:47Speaker 3: Why?
- 25:48Speaker 1: I feel like I worked really hard, But I promise
- 25:50Speaker 1: you it was not a winery at twenty five.
- 25:53Speaker 2: And look, it's okay. I don't fault Gavin for the
- 25:57Speaker 2: success of his parents or his grandparents great great grandparents.
- 26:01Speaker 2: And it's amazing how many leftists were raised with silver
- 26:05Speaker 2: spoons and inserted just about any place you can insert
- 26:08Speaker 2: a spoon. But when he pretends like he's on this
- 26:13Speaker 2: this NBA podcast and he's talking about, oh, I just
- 26:17Speaker 2: had to support myself. I had to support myself playing ball,
- 26:21Speaker 2: like what a load, what a croc?
- 26:26Speaker 1: And it's pathological.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Newsom is running a different scam than Mandani is, but
- 26:34Speaker 2: it's the same scam. It is marketing Marxism, socialism, confiscatory
- 26:42Speaker 2: government power and trying to make it. I will say this,
- 26:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna compliment right now both Comrade Mondani and Gavin Newsom.
- 26:50Speaker 2: They got great smiles. I mean, to be honest, every
- 26:53Speaker 2: dentist in America must be like, look at those pearly
- 26:56Speaker 2: whites theres smile like it. And you know, I gotta
- 27:01Speaker 2: say and I'll say this as a Cuban American whose family,
- 27:05Speaker 2: you know, fled Cuba, it really feels better if you're
- 27:09Speaker 2: a dissident being lined up from the firing squad. If
- 27:12Speaker 2: you know that the communist ordering your death or smiling
- 27:14Speaker 2: like it really makes it less painful as you're sent
- 27:19Speaker 2: to the gulag. To know it's a good looking tyrant
- 27:24Speaker 2: who is sending me to the Gulag, But sadly that's
- 27:30Speaker 2: where we are. And can I ask you one more
- 27:33Speaker 2: question on this topic? Sure, is there is there a
- 27:37Speaker 2: single sane Democrat who is calling out Comrade Mom, Donnie
- 27:45Speaker 2: or Gavin Newsom on these issues.
- 27:49Speaker 1: No, because they created these crazies and they allowed them
- 27:52Speaker 1: to fester in their party and they literally didn't police
- 27:55Speaker 1: their party. So this is the Democratic Party now, and
- 27:58Speaker 1: their leaders are not Democrats. They are Commis, they are socialists,
- 28:02Speaker 1: they are Marxists. Just look around the country. This is
- 28:05Speaker 1: who they are.
- 28:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Look the elected members of the Democrat Party, particularly on
- 28:09Speaker 2: the national scene, they're scared. They're scared of the mob.
- 28:15Speaker 2: They're scared of the angry left wing radicals with torches
- 28:21Speaker 2: and pitchforks. We saw this at the No King's rally
- 28:24Speaker 2: where they're terrified. We're in the middle, we're in day
- 28:26Speaker 2: twenty seven of the Schumer shutdown. Because they're terrified of
- 28:29Speaker 2: the mob. And so elected Democrats are terrified. But again, listen,
- 28:35Speaker 2: we endeavor on this podcast to try to be real,
- 28:38Speaker 2: to try to have facts, to try not to engage
- 28:41Speaker 2: in just empty partisan rhetoric. So maybe you might say,
- 28:45Speaker 2: all right, cruise Ferguson that they're not the most impartial,
- 28:50Speaker 2: unbiased observers if you're not inclined to listen to us.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Although I will say, if you've made it twenty nine
- 28:56Speaker 2: minutes into this podcast and you're not inclined to listen
- 28:58Speaker 2: to us, wow, you've got some endurance. Bravos of you.
- 29:01Speaker 2: But indulge and indulge the setup. Nonetheless, if you're not
- 29:07Speaker 2: inclined to listen to us, perhaps you would be inclined
- 29:10Speaker 2: to listen to Bill Maher. Bill Maher is a liberal,
- 29:13Speaker 2: he is a Democrat. He's been a liberal and his
- 29:15Speaker 2: democrat a Democrat his whole life. Listen to what Bill
- 29:19Speaker 2: Maher had to say, the warning to Democrats he had
- 29:22Speaker 2: to say about comrade Mundani.
- 29:25Speaker 4: The Democrats, let's face it, they're kind of split. Now
- 29:27Speaker 4: there's the far left version that did not do too
- 29:31Speaker 4: well in recent elections, and then people like the governors
- 29:33Speaker 4: say we've got to come back to the middle, common sense,
- 29:36Speaker 4: And whenever this discussion comes up, this is what you
- 29:38Speaker 4: hear a lot. We need a sister soldier moment a
- 29:41Speaker 4: time when some issue with the Democrat says, look, I'm
- 29:44Speaker 4: not with the far left, and this is how you
- 29:46Speaker 4: know you can trust me that I'm not. I think
- 29:50Speaker 4: I have the issue, okay, and it's the mayor's race
- 29:53Speaker 4: in New York. I think he seems like a sweet guy,
- 29:57Speaker 4: mum donni. But I would just like to say, because
- 30:01Speaker 4: the election is in a couple of weeks, this is
- 30:05Speaker 4: not just New York that's on the ballot. I think
- 30:08Speaker 4: the whole Democratic Party in the country is on the ballot,
- 30:11Speaker 4: and the whole country will be looking at this race
- 30:14Speaker 4: to see which way are the Democrats going to go. No,
- 30:17Speaker 4: Andrew Cuomo may not be that exciting and that inspirational,
- 30:21Speaker 4: but you know, for a party that said we want
- 30:22Speaker 4: to get back to normal, he's kind of normal.
- 30:27Speaker 3: I mean, what, well, he's done some things in his history.
- 30:31Speaker 4: That I know, Well, we did a deep dive on
- 30:36Speaker 4: that because we had him on the show. A lot
- 30:38Speaker 4: of it is kind of bullshit. I mean, maybe he
- 30:40Speaker 4: was a little too handsy, a little too Italian, uh,
- 30:43Speaker 4: a little too touchy.
- 30:45Speaker 5: You know, he did not little too Italian, that's what
- 30:49Speaker 5: he said.
- 30:50Speaker 4: You know, yes, you know you did not get the memo.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I mean, it's when you're having to defend Cuomo to
- 30:57Speaker 1: try to save your party you're not in a good place.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Well, but Bill Maher, and let's be clear, Bill Maher
- 31:03Speaker 2: did not vote for Donald Trump. Bill Maher would not
- 31:06Speaker 2: vote for me. He is a liberal, he is a Democrat.
- 31:10Speaker 2: But Bill Maher every day makes more and more sense
- 31:13Speaker 2: because his party has gone so batcrap crazy that he
- 31:16Speaker 2: believes in things like free speech. He believes in things
- 31:21Speaker 2: like not supporting a communist government that seizes private property
- 31:25Speaker 2: and the means of production in society. He doesn't want
- 31:32Speaker 2: to support Hamas terrorists and other jahatists. That used to
- 31:38Speaker 2: be mainstream, that used to be all of those propositions
- 31:41Speaker 2: were things. It used to be the case that Republicans
- 31:44Speaker 2: and Democrats came together. Look Bill Clinton. When Bill Clinton
- 31:47Speaker 2: was president, neither you nor I supported Bill Clinton. We
- 31:51Speaker 2: did not vote for Bill Clinton. But you know what
- 31:54Speaker 2: the Bill Clinton election when he was elected, it was
- 31:57Speaker 2: not the fate of Western civilization. It was not do
- 32:01Speaker 2: we elect a communist jihadist. I would have rather a
- 32:05Speaker 2: Republican be elected. But the world didn't end when Bill
- 32:08Speaker 2: Clinton got elected. Bill Clinton's views. If you took a
- 32:11Speaker 2: candidate with the identical policy views of Bill Clinton and
- 32:14Speaker 2: ran him today, they would tar and feather him and
- 32:17Speaker 2: drive him out of the Democrat Party. He would be
- 32:20Speaker 2: completely an.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Entirely to president.
- 32:23Speaker 2: He would not get elected. He probably wouldn't get elected
- 32:25Speaker 2: as a Democrat dogcatcher because they have radicalized and they
- 32:30Speaker 2: instead want someone like comrade Monami, whose party says release
- 32:35Speaker 2: the terrorists who murders Jews because they're Jews. That's where
- 32:40Speaker 2: their radical base is. And and you know, some of
- 32:44Speaker 2: y'all may not may not know what a sister Soldier
- 32:47Speaker 2: moment is. And and sister soldier actually refers to Bill Clinton.
- 32:50Speaker 2: When Bill Clinton was was running for president, sister Soldier
- 32:54Speaker 2: was was this rapper? And and and Bill Clinton denounced
- 32:58Speaker 2: her in the middle of the primary. And it would
- 33:00Speaker 2: viewed as a brave moment of sort of taking on
- 33:03Speaker 2: his base. But it demonstrated to the voters, or it
- 33:06Speaker 2: was perceived to demonstrate to the voters that he was
- 33:09Speaker 2: reasonable and rational and not a crazy nutcase. And it
- 33:13Speaker 2: is an interesting question is there even one national Democrat?
- 33:19Speaker 2: By the way, Gavin Newsom wants to be elected president,
- 33:21Speaker 2: can he denounce Mundami? Jamie Pritzker wants to be elected president?
- 33:25Speaker 2: Can he do it? Corey Booker wants to Chris Murphy
- 33:29Speaker 2: wants to. None of them are going to because look,
- 33:34Speaker 2: John Fetterman has been critical. But John Fetterman, I think
- 33:37Speaker 2: the Democrat Party is being quite explicit that they're going
- 33:40Speaker 2: to do everything they can to drive him out of
- 33:42Speaker 2: the Democrat Party, just like they would Bill Clinton if
- 33:44Speaker 2: he were there. But I don't know a Democrat, and interestingly,
- 33:50Speaker 2: one ambitious Democrat is there. Nobody looking around. Andy Basher,
- 33:55Speaker 2: who's pretending he's a moderate in Kentucky. Josh Shapiro, who
- 34:01Speaker 2: has got to be horrified at what Mandami's saying. Has
- 34:05Speaker 2: he said a word crickets, crickets, crickets? There is not one,
- 34:12Speaker 2: and maybe that will change. But but but I fear
- 34:17Speaker 2: not just for the state of the Democrat Party, but
- 34:19Speaker 2: I fear uh for for the future of our republic.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I think we do better when we have two political
- 34:25Speaker 2: parties that are reasonable and rational and have some meaningful
- 34:29Speaker 2: disagreements than we do with one party that is utterly
- 34:32Speaker 2: whack job and trying to destroy America. Look, we've seen
- 34:36Speaker 2: through history it is a pendulum, and it goes from
- 34:39Speaker 2: one party to the other. There will come a time
- 34:42Speaker 2: when these lunatics are a charge of the country again,
- 34:45Speaker 2: and they've gotten so extreme that that that I really
- 34:48Speaker 2: shudder and fear for our great nation.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Amen, don't forget. We do this show Monday, Wednesday Friday.
- 34:55Speaker 1: We always try to bring you the biggest news we
- 34:56Speaker 1: can and let you know what's going on behind the scenes.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Even at three thirteen am Eastern time, as we're wrapping
- 35:03Speaker 1: this podcast, if you don't think we're committed, just look
- 35:06Speaker 1: at the clock right now, three at three point fifteen.
- 35:08Speaker 1: This may be our latest one we've ever done, Cinter,
- 35:10Speaker 1: and you should be committed. That should be. That's very true,
- 35:14Speaker 1: very true, three fifteen in the morning. We're finishing this
- 35:16Speaker 1: thing up. I hit that subscribe auto download button and
- 35:19Speaker 1: the center and I will see you back here on
- 35:21Speaker 1: Wednesday morning.
