- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water the water go. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your back. Uh huh, good morning everybody, y'all listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice. Come on dig me now one it only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show today. I want to
- 2:14Speaker 1: just share something with you. Um along your way, um
- 2:22Speaker 1: to wherever it is you're trying to get to. You know,
- 2:25Speaker 1: every everybody has a different definition for success, and I'm
- 2:29Speaker 1: not I'm not here to tell you what yours should be.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I mean, please pursue whatever you think success. He is
- 2:36Speaker 1: aim as high as you can though. Uh, that's for sure.
- 2:41Speaker 1: My father used to say all the time. I'm sure
- 2:43Speaker 1: you all have heard it in different variations, but he
- 2:45Speaker 1: used to always say aim for the moon. Just in
- 2:49Speaker 1: case you miss, you will still be amongst the stars.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Just say that to me all the time. So that
- 2:54Speaker 1: always was in me to aim high. Now he wasn't
- 2:59Speaker 1: say and aim with the intent to miss. He was
- 3:03Speaker 1: just saying aim in case you miss, you're still amongst
- 3:08Speaker 1: the stars if you aim for the moon. But if
- 3:11Speaker 1: you just aim for that first flow wind and you
- 3:13Speaker 1: miss it, you know, usually run into some type of
- 3:18Speaker 1: wall and nothing happens. You slither down. But a lot
- 3:22Speaker 1: of times I think along the way, folks, you know,
- 3:25Speaker 1: we just don't understand what all it takes, and so
- 3:28Speaker 1: we give up along the way. But there's a couple
- 3:31Speaker 1: of things I want you to prepare yourself for. You know.
- 3:35Speaker 1: In my book, act like a lady, think like a man.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I told her people that men love three ways. They profess,
- 3:40Speaker 1: they provide, they protect, and that's the core essence of
- 3:44Speaker 1: a man's love. Well, there's some other peas in life too.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And uh now, the number one thing you have to
- 3:56Speaker 1: understand about trying to be successful. And I guess I
- 4:01Speaker 1: call this the four piece. I may come up with
- 4:04Speaker 1: five along the way. I don't know. I'm just talking
- 4:07Speaker 1: as it is given to me. So I'm gonna summer.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Start by saying, as these are the four piece of
- 4:13Speaker 1: uh success that you have to get ready for. Number one,
- 4:17Speaker 1: it's pressure, pure pressure. Being successful is just pressure. A
- 4:29Speaker 1: lot of it is applied by the circumstance of what
- 4:32Speaker 1: you're trying to go for and what you're trying to do,
- 4:36Speaker 1: but a lot of it also is self imposed pressure.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It's um, it's it's what you put on yourself to
- 4:46Speaker 1: make it. It's it's a sense of urgency, it's it's
- 4:51Speaker 1: a sense of necessity. But pressure is the first thing
- 4:57Speaker 1: I want you to be ready for. And pressure is
- 5:00Speaker 1: in a lot of different forms, but it's gonna be pressured.
- 5:03Speaker 1: As an old saying that pressure bus to pipe. See,
- 5:05Speaker 1: that's why most people turn around because of the pressure
- 5:09Speaker 1: of trying to be successful. I want you to get
- 5:11Speaker 1: it in your mind that it is going to be
- 5:14Speaker 1: a pressurized situation on your rise to the top. Pressure wise,
- 5:20Speaker 1: it's gonna be pressure. It's gonna be difficult to do.
- 5:24Speaker 1: It's gonna be moments when it seems like it's real heavy.
- 5:27Speaker 1: It's gonna be moments man, when they feel like you're
- 5:29Speaker 1: gonna burst us. All comes from pressure, pressure buster pipe pressure,
- 5:36Speaker 1: But understand that that is what it is, is not
- 5:39Speaker 1: going to change. That's it. Prepare yourself, get ready for
- 5:44Speaker 1: there to be pressure. The second thing I want you
- 5:50Speaker 1: to understand is when you receive this pressure, you have
- 5:54Speaker 1: to persist. You got to stay at it. You got
- 5:59Speaker 1: to develop doggedness. Has Ah, there's a song out he says,
- 6:09Speaker 1: why must I feel like that? Why must I chase
- 6:14Speaker 1: the cat? Nothing but the dog in me? That's a
- 6:19Speaker 1: funny line in that song, because really I was thinking
- 6:22Speaker 1: about it one day. I was humming it and and
- 6:26Speaker 1: and it, and it occurred to me, he said, why
- 6:29Speaker 1: must I feel like that? Why must I chase the cat?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Nothing but the dog in me? And you know, now
- 6:37Speaker 1: you could take it in the literal sense that the
- 6:40Speaker 1: cat chases the dog, because it's innately is in his
- 6:43Speaker 1: spirit that cats and dogs are a lot of times enemies.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Now people have pets and help proven that if you
- 6:50Speaker 1: show love on both sides, they can exist. And that
- 6:52Speaker 1: happens too. But naturally, innately, when your cat goes by
- 6:57Speaker 1: a dog, your dog don't recognize him. That some balling
- 7:00Speaker 1: going on. I'm talking I just walking through the neighborhood
- 7:03Speaker 1: or something. So but the reason that this dog, it's
- 7:08Speaker 1: so persistent towards this cat's just cause it's in him,
- 7:14Speaker 1: It's innately in him. And what I'm saying to you,
- 7:19Speaker 1: just using that as an analogy, is that you got
- 7:23Speaker 1: to be you got to be persistent in that. You
- 7:29Speaker 1: got to develop some dog in you now, because pressure
- 7:33Speaker 1: take some fighting back. See if you don't fight back
- 7:36Speaker 1: against pressure, pressure buster pipes, So what you're think it
- 7:39Speaker 1: will do to you? Pressure crack walls, pressure calls, explosions.
- 7:45Speaker 1: So if you don't fight back to hold it in,
- 7:49Speaker 1: you understand pressure does most people in the simple thing
- 7:53Speaker 1: called pressure, the weight of what it feels like to
- 7:57Speaker 1: want to be successful every single day, over and over
- 8:01Speaker 1: and over and over and over. It's just too much pressure.
- 8:05Speaker 1: People crack. You got to persist. You have to persist.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You can the thought of giving up can come, but
- 8:13Speaker 1: you gotta get it out. You gotta persist. The next
- 8:21Speaker 1: thing I want you to think about, there's another something
- 8:24Speaker 1: that I've been thinking about for years and learn for years.
- 8:28Speaker 1: It's called perseverance. See, to persist means to to to
- 8:36Speaker 1: to to insist. Keyword in insist and persistence insists you
- 8:42Speaker 1: must You must insist that this is going to happen. Now.
- 8:45Speaker 1: The persist I'm assuming means it's a pro action. It's
- 8:49Speaker 1: some type of pro action that you go towards it
- 8:52Speaker 1: to make it. You know, persist, You gotta be persistent.
- 8:56Speaker 1: You gotta be constantly at insisting that it happens. You
- 8:59Speaker 1: gotta be constantly at it. But the next thing I
- 9:02Speaker 1: want you to remember is perseverance. Perseverance is important. Perseverance
- 9:07Speaker 1: means that when you've done your best, when you've persisted,
- 9:13Speaker 1: when you're fighting back against the pressure. Perseverance simply means
- 9:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna hang in here now. I'm going
- 9:23Speaker 1: to hang in here. What if if a crack come
- 9:27Speaker 1: into pipe, I'm gonna hang in there. If the pipe bust,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep going. If I gotta put duct take
- 9:35Speaker 1: silly glue, bondo mud, whatever I got to put on
- 9:41Speaker 1: this thing. Man, I'm gonna use perseverance. I'm going to
- 9:46Speaker 1: stay with it no matter what. So we're looking at
- 9:49Speaker 1: the three things again. You've got to understand that it's
- 9:53Speaker 1: gonna be pressure that you're gonna have to persist. Keyword
- 9:57Speaker 1: and persistence Insist. You have to insist that no matter
- 10:01Speaker 1: what the pressure is I'm gonna stay with it. But
- 10:03Speaker 1: then perseverance. If it goes wrong, Man, you got to
- 10:08Speaker 1: get in there and keep fighting. But then, Lord her Mercy,
- 10:13Speaker 1: nothing helps you handle the three peas better than the
- 10:16Speaker 1: fourth Peace. You got to pray. You got to use prayer.
- 10:21Speaker 1: You gotta talk to God. You gotta use faith. You
- 10:25Speaker 1: gotta have some conferences with him late at night, early
- 10:29Speaker 1: in the morning, in the middle of the afternoon, when
- 10:31Speaker 1: you own the train, when you're driving, you got to
- 10:34Speaker 1: talk to God. Man, you gotta get yourself some help
- 10:37Speaker 1: along the way. Nothing is bigger than prayer. There is
- 10:40Speaker 1: nothing bigger than prayer. Prayer will help you overcome the pressure.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Prayer will help you stay persistent. And Lord har Mercy,
- 10:48Speaker 1: prayer will help you persevere them is the foe pas
- 10:52Speaker 1: that just came to me today. God gave it to me.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm passing it on you ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
- 11:02Speaker 1: people from all around the world. You are listening to

- 12:21Speaker 1: we to show? Yes? We are? Surely is when there's
- 12:29Speaker 1: a question. There's no question. Whether we ah is a
- 12:34Speaker 1: question you only use when it's a question, are we
- 12:37Speaker 1: there yet? Are the show? Okay? Statements? Is? Is is
- 12:45Speaker 1: we to show? Y'all? We is the show? The only

- 14:03Speaker 1: Steven said improper grammar, and it's still it sounds better
- 14:10Speaker 1: than he said. I don't think you can let genius

- 17:03Speaker 1: is right around the corner, guys, And according to a
- 17:06Speaker 1: new poll, of people believe that politics, politics should be
- 17:11Speaker 1: a conversation that is strictly, strictly off limits at the
- 17:16Speaker 1: Thanksgiving tape. You know, your family gathers around and but yeah,
- 17:21Speaker 1: don't talk about the president. Don't don't do it. Don't
- 17:24Speaker 1: do it. You can start a fight. Yeah, it's so
- 17:27Speaker 1: much to talk about. Uh, that's that's thirty percent of people.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Now another twenty eight percent say that don't apply. My family,
- 17:36Speaker 1: my whole family don't like Trump. So do they all there? Should?
- 17:41Speaker 1: There would be a big Kumbai yah moment. But if
- 17:44Speaker 1: you have someone like guests or whatever that come over
- 17:47Speaker 1: that do they don't like Trump either? Do like them?
- 17:52Speaker 1: No turkey for you. Cranberry sucks because of their political parties.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Still talking about it, and you'll never know that. Ain't
- 18:04Speaker 1: will start to fight at our table. No way, what
- 18:06Speaker 1: starts to fight. It's my ainty Green being castro, and
- 18:08Speaker 1: she keep bringing that's what starts to fight. I don't
- 18:12Speaker 1: know a lot of black people who do Green being castro.
- 18:15Speaker 1: That's why that's the fight. That's twenty years in a row.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Way nobody touched that. It's a lot of ways to
- 18:22Speaker 1: start to fight at your house. Man, Like, besides politics.
- 18:28Speaker 1: We went over on Agnes house one year and guess
- 18:34Speaker 1: what she said. She's just sitting there just looking on saying,
- 18:37Speaker 1: y'all ain't gonna believe this. I didn't get this turkey
- 18:42Speaker 1: th all out in. You just seen to look on
- 18:48Speaker 1: my daddy face. Who was you doing last night? Look? Yeah,
- 18:59Speaker 1: I'm ever seen my father mocking us. Look. And then
- 19:05Speaker 1: my mama just lowered her head and said, Lord, yeah lord,
- 19:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell this man, we didn't come over here here.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Oh lord, this man have been working. It's all he'd
- 19:16Speaker 1: been doing, is working. Was that your mom's sister, Steve,
- 19:20Speaker 1: You're not that my father's Oh that was your dad's
- 19:24Speaker 1: sister on egg boy? So does she have anything? Any sides?
- 19:29Speaker 1: And he deserts all of it except for the no turkey,
- 19:34Speaker 1: No turkey at all. And so she spent all her
- 19:37Speaker 1: time trying to figure out how the thought of turkey.
- 19:40Speaker 1: So now ain't no hand what I tell you, So
- 19:45Speaker 1: you gotta have me. Thank's giving a side side. My
- 19:51Speaker 1: daddy was so mad what he fast pack all this
- 19:57Speaker 1: stuff back up in that damn call. Put all that
- 20:01Speaker 1: back in the car. We're going out and oh no,
- 20:04Speaker 1: we're getting out of here. We're going to we're going
- 20:06Speaker 1: back to our house. We gotta turkey as right. My
- 20:09Speaker 1: mom believed in that always have food at the house,
- 20:12Speaker 1: always have food at the house. Yes, wow, all the sides.
- 20:16Speaker 1: No turkey. I've never been to like Thanksgiving, like dinner,
- 20:21Speaker 1: like your relatives house, and left like you left, your
- 20:25Speaker 1: family left. My dad ain't fit over here with this here,
- 20:29Speaker 1: ain't no meat. Did an acnes go with you guys?
- 20:31Speaker 1: And she she cried, I can't believe y'all leaving that.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You can believe it getting in the car than meat?
- 20:40Speaker 1: My dad no meat. The whole reason I go to
- 20:44Speaker 1: working here, and you think I'm working for a working
- 20:47Speaker 1: so we can be a meatless family. We eat meat
- 20:50Speaker 1: with a hand that waiting. The thing we're in on
- 20:51Speaker 1: meat than what they know meat vegan Thanksgiving? Anybody man
- 21:00Speaker 1: said slick meat ain't the most important thing on Thanksgiving?
- 21:03Speaker 1: The hell it ain't sick, none of that. My dad
- 21:09Speaker 1: don't know number no Hill Street, none of that. I
- 21:12Speaker 1: don't even know how Thanksgiving got started. One of my things,

- 30:39Speaker 1: Is game set? Yeah, we have been excited. Keep your
- 30:46Speaker 1: not boring. It's been a very exciting. We believe Game
- 30:52Speaker 1: seven is a booty clitcher. I'm already I've never heard
- 30:58Speaker 1: put it quite that. I don't want to see if
- 31:00Speaker 1: that want, they can't have me in the boost. Everybody
- 31:05Speaker 1: booty tight now? Just coming off through the TV. Do
- 31:10Speaker 1: it feel like lemon juice going down your track right now? Yeah,

- 31:20Speaker 1: Astros against the Dodgers, and folks, we got a booty
- 31:24Speaker 1: clincher for you here today. My butt been tight all week.
- 31:29Speaker 1: I'll tell you right now. I'm I'm boys right now,
- 31:34Speaker 1: you know, you know, just to sheer fiction and just
- 31:36Speaker 1: keep my butt this tight together. Yeah to TV though, Yeah,
- 31:43Speaker 1: just coming to people eating. I'm just I'll tell you
- 31:46Speaker 1: what the closest thing I felt the consirpation in my life.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Game seven anyway, Game seven tonight in l A. Well,
- 31:57Speaker 1: come on, Strong's history, all right, Who's the most powerful
- 32:02Speaker 1: man in Washington? Well, uh, it may not be who
- 32:06Speaker 1: you think it is, Special Counsel Robert Mueller. As we know,
- 32:10Speaker 1: the first indictments in the Special Council investigation into President
- 32:13Speaker 1: Trump's former campaign have been unsealed. Former Donald Trump campaign
- 32:18Speaker 1: manager Paul Manafort and his former business associate and protege
- 32:23Speaker 1: uh Rick Gates have pleaded not guilty to all the
- 32:26Speaker 1: charges against them, which include conspiracy to launder money, unregistered
- 32:31Speaker 1: um agent of a foreign principle, and more. The issue
- 32:35Speaker 1: is the work that Manafort and Gates did between two
- 32:39Speaker 1: thousand six and two thousand and fifteen. Okay records have
- 32:43Speaker 1: revealed that Manafort and Gates generated tens of millions of
- 32:46Speaker 1: dollars and income as a result of the work they
- 32:48Speaker 1: did with the government of Ukraine. Manafort and Gates have
- 32:53Speaker 1: both entered pleas of not guilty as I mentioned, and
- 32:56Speaker 1: they've been released on bond at ten million and five million,
- 32:59Speaker 1: respect grief. Yeah, that's a lot of money. They're both
- 33:02Speaker 1: confined under house arrest arrest. They had to passports too. Yeah. Yeah,
- 33:07Speaker 1: they can only see their lawyer if they can go
- 33:09Speaker 1: out for to the doctor for religious reasons or to
- 33:12Speaker 1: see their attorney. So that's number one. Yeah, otherwise one,
- 33:20Speaker 1: I'm at the doctor's office now. Otherwise and according to
- 33:25Speaker 1: NBC of mana for it provides information about anything anything
- 33:29Speaker 1: dealing with President Trump's campaign, Congress will consider impeach and
- 33:33Speaker 1: you know, and these guys on the house arrest this
- 33:36Speaker 1: is serious. But the biggest thing was that guy, George
- 33:40Speaker 1: Popo whatever his name, to the FBI. Yeah, he's played
- 33:47Speaker 1: guilty to Lyon and they've tied him. I watched CNN.
- 33:51Speaker 1: They've tied him to Mola and the other guy they
- 33:55Speaker 1: got Gates, which tied them to a high ranking campaign
- 33:59Speaker 1: official at the Trump administration, which asked him to set
- 34:03Speaker 1: the meeting up. It's about to get ugly, folks. Well, Steve,
- 34:09Speaker 1: this is really really sad. Another terrorist attack, this time
- 34:12Speaker 1: in New York City. A truck plowed into people, crashing
- 34:17Speaker 1: on a bike path and hitting a school bus and
- 34:20Speaker 1: killing innocent people. We hear of course, at the Steve
- 34:24Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Are praying for the innocent victims and
- 34:27Speaker 1: their families. Are condolences as we pray for New York City. Uh,
- 34:32Speaker 1: miss Anna's here. Steve, please introduce MS and to give
- 34:35Speaker 1: us the latest on last night's horrific attack in New
- 34:39Speaker 1: York City. Ladies and gentlemen here to really straighten it out,
- 34:42Speaker 1: to give us all the facts. MS. An trip, Thanks Steve,
- 34:47Speaker 1: Thanks everybody out there. This is a trip with the
- 34:49Speaker 1: news and let's go right to a Police in New
- 34:52Speaker 1: York City are investigating yesterday's deadly truck attack and Lower
- 34:55Speaker 1: Manhattan is an active terror. New York City Mayor Bill
- 34:58Speaker 1: de Blasia a terror and a particularly cowardly act of
- 35:03Speaker 1: terror aimed at innocent civilians, aimed at people going about
- 35:07Speaker 1: their lives who had no idea of what was about
- 35:10Speaker 1: to hit them. But we also know New Yorkers are strong.
- 35:14Speaker 1: New Yorkers are resilient, and our spirit will never be
- 35:17Speaker 1: moved by an act of violence and act meant to
- 35:20Speaker 1: intimidate us. Eight people were killed and more than a
- 35:23Speaker 1: dozen others were injured when the driver of a rented
- 35:25Speaker 1: pickup truck mowed down pedestrians and cyclists on part of
- 35:28Speaker 1: the West Side Highways Back bike path that's a main
- 35:31Speaker 1: thoroughfare in Manhattan on the West Side. Authorities say the
- 35:34Speaker 1: suspect drove several blocks down the bike path, hitting a
- 35:37Speaker 1: number of people, and then drove the truck back onto
- 35:40Speaker 1: the road and collided with the school bus. One student
- 35:43Speaker 1: was critically injured. That student critical but stable condition this morning.
- 35:46Speaker 1: The bus driver and an attendant were hurt. They say.
- 35:49Speaker 1: The suspect then jumped out of the vehicle holding what
- 35:51Speaker 1: turned out to be a pellet gun and a BB gun,
- 35:54Speaker 1: and was shot by police and taken into custody. Witnesses
- 35:56Speaker 1: say they heard him say holler God is Great and Arabic. Meanwhile,
- 36:00Speaker 1: President Trump has condemned the attack on Twitter, of course,
- 36:03Speaker 1: pledging to keep extremist groups out of the US. According
- 36:06Speaker 1: to ABC, the suspect is identified as twenty nine year
- 36:08Speaker 1: old say Fulo Psi Pav, who they say had a
- 36:11Speaker 1: Florida driver's license, who immigrated here from Uzbekistan seven years ago. Now,
- 36:16Speaker 1: Izbekistan is not one of the country's on that no
- 36:18Speaker 1: fly list. By the way, he came from Uzbekistan. They say.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Scipov also lived in Ohio, and most recently in Pattison,
- 36:24Speaker 1: New Jersey, where he lived with his wife and three children. Again,
- 36:26Speaker 1: he's in custody and he is in the hospital. He
- 36:29Speaker 1: was shot. The sentencing hearing for Army A Sergeant bo
- 36:31Speaker 1: Bergdal continues today, burned all facing up to life in
- 36:34Speaker 1: prison for deserting his post in Afghanistan in two thousand nine.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Taliban fighters captured burg Doll only hours after he left
- 36:41Speaker 1: his post. He says he was tortured by them for
- 36:42Speaker 1: the next five years before he was freed and a
- 36:45Speaker 1: prisoner swapped eight years after his death. Michael Jackson tops
- 36:48Speaker 1: the Forbes Top Earning a Dead celebrities list is say
- 36:52Speaker 1: Michael the state want made seventy five million dollars last year,
- 36:55Speaker 1: and this marks the fifth straight year in a row
- 36:57Speaker 1: that Michael's made more than the other dead entertainers only.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Today is National Author's Day and National deep fried Chicken
- 37:03Speaker 1: Wings Day. We're gonna do some other roasted chicken wings.
- 37:07Speaker 1: You got some soy sauce, you got some salt. Man,
- 37:10Speaker 1: he smells good. It makes me hungry. However, not for
- 37:13Speaker 1: chicken right now anyway. Twenty minutes after the hour, Eugene
- 37:16Speaker 1: the butterfly. I'm hungry to hear from him. Stay tuned
- 37:18Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steve

- 38:18Speaker 1: the person the closest Let me say this, the closest
- 38:25Speaker 1: people are not always the closest people. You need not
- 38:28Speaker 1: know that you don't understand. I've told you the thousand
- 38:31Speaker 1: times I'm stranded, and you don't see it inside his body.
- 38:42Speaker 1: You don't like your house? Oh my god, I hate

- 38:48Speaker 1: trying to do something new to make himself look young

- 39:14Speaker 1: down and got his whole left on them over there
- 39:16Speaker 1: trying to see what it's gonna cost to get it left,

- 39:21Speaker 1: He little young stuff going out on the day. That's
- 39:23Speaker 1: what he wanted, Tommy tombout getting a sleeve. Why don't

- 59:25Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry Letter. Thank you, Tommy, subject today
- 59:28Speaker 1: for the Strawberry Letter to many issues. Good morning, Steve,
- 59:33Speaker 1: Shirley nephew, Tommy, Carla. I listened to your show faithfully
- 59:36Speaker 1: every morning because it gives me the inspiration I need
- 59:39Speaker 1: to start my day. I love the way God truly
- 59:41Speaker 1: gets glory first and foremost on the issues I am
- 59:45Speaker 1: emailing about. My wife and I have been together for
- 59:48Speaker 1: twenty eight years and married for nineteen. Our problem is
- 59:51Speaker 1: our grown children, twenty seven and five. Seven year old
- 59:56Speaker 1: has a nine year old daughter that we have been
- 59:59Speaker 1: raising since she was six days old. My daughter never
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: comes to see her own child because she says her
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: man has told her to cut her ties with everyone,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: including her own daughter. Stupid fool. My My wife wants
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: to adopt her, but doesn't want to hurt our daughter.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Our year old has three babies and she is totally lazy.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: My wife gets up at three o'clock a m. Every morning,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: cleans house, cook's dinner, takes care of all the children
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: and my daughter. The year old lays on the couch
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: all day long on the phone, doesn't clean up after
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: her own kids, and nothing else. She may be pregnant
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: with her fourth child. My wife asked her, and she
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: told her what she does with her body is her business.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: This may be the case, but when the baby is born,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: she is gonna want my wife to keep it. I
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: told her that since my daughter is trying to hide
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: her pregnancy and getting smart about it, than when the
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: baby is born, tell her what you did with your
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: body is your business. Since the baby was a secret,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: let its stay a secret. My wife is not a dummy,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: just entirely too soft. I am now ready to move
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: on with our life and get our apartment alone without
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: the kids, with the exception of our nine year old granddaughter.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: My year old doesn't have a job, so my wife
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: feels sorry for her. When she had a job and
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: got paid, she ran off with her money and spent
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: it all on her friend and would lie and tell
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: her mom and I that she didn't have any money.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I feel that, since God has given us the opportunity
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: to move on, my daughter can just move in with
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: the friends that she gave her money to when she
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: got paid. But my wife feels sorry for the kids.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: What should I do? Well, um, dear, what should I do?
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: You know, just what you stated in the letter. God
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: has blessed you, you and your wife with the opportunity
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: to move on, So I think you guys should move on.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: You know, the kids are grown with kids of their own,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: and your wife continues to enable them, and that is
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: the problem. Your wife enabling them is the problem. I mean,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: how will they ever, um, be the people they're supposed
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: to be? Unless she cuts the apron strings. And she's
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: got to do it at some point, So why not. Now,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: your kids don't respect your wife, they don't respect you,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: they don't respect themselves. But my question to you is,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: why are you just, you know, just standing by and
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: letting this go down like this? I mean, these are
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: your kids too, right, you know? Come on, daddy, help
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: your wife. Somebody needs to regulate this situation. Get the baby.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: You guys, move and let the other grown kids spend
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: for themselves. Twelve minutes after we'll be back Steve. You
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: all right, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Come on, Steve with your response to part two of
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter. Okay, here's a deal. First of all, folks,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: this letters written by man. Whatever man right in you
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: always get right to it. I just understand the male
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: psyche here. It is too many issues. First of all,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: any man to say they got issues right there. Good
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: morning to you, Shirley. And if you tell me and
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: welcome back Carlor. Listen to your show faithfully every morning
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: because it gives me the inspiration I need to start
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: my day. I love the way God truly gets the
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: glory first and foremost on the issues I'm emailing about.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: My wife and I've been together twenty eight years and
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: married for nineteen. Our problem is I've grown children, twenty
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: seven and twenty five. Seven year old has a nine
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: year old daughter that we've been raising. She was six
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: days old. My daughter never comes to see her own
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: child because she says her man has told her to
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: cut ties with everyone, including her own daughter. Stupid food.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: My wife wants to adopt her, but that's in the letter,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: by the way, And even though it's exactly how I feel,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: stupid food, and I like saying it like that too,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: stupid food, show ignorant, I you're your thighs. My wife
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: wants to adopt her, but doesn't want to hurt our daughter.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Year old has three babies, and she's totally lazy. My
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: wife gets up at three am every morning, cleans house,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: cook's dinner, takes care of all the children, and my
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: daughter to twenty year old, ladies on the couch all
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: day long on the phone, doesn't clean up after her
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: own kids, and nothing else. She may be pregnant with
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: her fourth child. My wife asked her, and she told
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: her what she does with her body is her business.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: This may be the case, but when the baby is born,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: she's gonna want my wife to keep it. I told
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: her that since my daughter is trying to hide her
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: pregnancy and getting smart about it, then when the baby
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: is born, tell her what you did with your body
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: is your business. Since the baby was a secret, let
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: it stay a secret. My wife is not a dumby,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: just entirely too soft. I am now ready to move
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: on with our life and get our apartment alone without
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: the kids and the exception of our nine year old granddaughter.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: My five year old doesn't have a job, so my
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: wife feels sorry for her. When she had a job
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: and got paid, she ran off with her money and
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: spending on her friends and with lie and tell her
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: mom and I that she didn't have any money. I felt,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: since God has given us an opportunity to move on,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: my daughter can just move in with her friends that
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: she gave her money to when she got paid. But
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: my wife feels sorry for the kids. What should I do? Well, brother,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: first of all, let's talk about this. This is your house,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: just like it's your wife's house. Now. I got your
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: wife feel sorry for the kids, but this is entirely
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: about you. Man and up you just got the man
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: and put your foot down if you ain't man enough
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: to put him out, which I can understand because I
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: got daughters, but them kids, and it ain't they fault.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: So because your daughter trifling, it's because you allow your
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: daughter to be trifling at your house. See if my
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: daughters were trifling, that would be one thing, But you
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: ain't fitting to be trifling at my house. You can
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: go get your own place and take trifling to the
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: full this letter of extent of the law. You can
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: put two capital fls in your trifling if you want to.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: But at this here house, you're gonna be different. Now
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: you've got two kids that you're letting do some crazy stuff.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Your twenty seven year old you're raising her daughter, and
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: she's been you've been raising since she was six days old.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: And her daughter don't never come see you because her
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: man who told her to cut ties and everybody include
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: her own daughter stupid food. Well what stupid food you
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: talk about? You? Is your daughter the stupid food? Because
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: no man should be able to tell a woman she
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: can't go see her kid. I hope you're calling your
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: daughter a stupid fool, But you and your wife are
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: taking the baby and it is yours and I got it,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: and I commend you on that. That's pretty good. Your
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: wife won't to adopt a baby, but don't want to
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: hurt your daughter. Do you really think your daughter give
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: a damn adopted baby? And y'all move on now for
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: this trifling help for that's laying on the couch with
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: the three babies that's pregnant with the folk. Talking about
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: what she'd do with her body is her business? Can
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I share something with you? See? Doing what you want
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: to do with your body is like you gotta tattoo
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: put on it or you're gonna get your babel piers.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: That's doing what you want to do with your body.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Having a baby. LiPo suction is doing what you want
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: to do with your body, botox, getting your lips full
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: of weaves, that's doing what you want to do with
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: your body. Having a baby. Bringing a baby. Having a
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: baby is bringing another life into the world, and with
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: the other three kids that you don't take care of. Now,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: I do what I want to do with my body. Yes,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: you can in your own place, but if you're gonna
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: be laying on my couch here, what we're gonna do. Now, bro,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: here's what I think you ought to do, sir, because
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: obviously you're kind man. You're saying your wife too soft,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: but you're soft too. You're letting a lot of stuff
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: happen in your house that you disagree with. Three kids,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: it's one on the way, all the got the four
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: hear what you do? Doog? Go rent the apartment for
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: you and your wife. Make sure it's a place that
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: your wife would love to live. A matter of fact,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: just have go and go look at the place you
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: all want. And then just say, baby, if we have
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: a move, where would you like to live? Let her
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: pick it out. When she pick it out, you go
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: on your own after work one day and rent the
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: apartment and tell your wife I have the place for
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: us to live. We're moving. Thank you, Steve. You know
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. You can email or
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: instagram us your thoughts on today's strawberry letter at my Girl.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Surely don't forget Tomorrow Facebook Live the after show with
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. I'll have my fresh strawberry pick of
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: the week and we'll talk about some trending topics. Okay,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: switching gears now, uh, people are mad at Kim Kardashian again,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Why yeah? Okay. For Halloween, Kim Kardashian dressed up as
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: three different people music icons over the kend okay, including Aliyah,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: including Aliyah. Okay. Kim got some backlash from people on
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: the internet, saying, uh that it was either cultural appropriation
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: or just bad taste. All right. Uh, they didn't they
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: didn't like her being Aliyah. I guess I saw the costume.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: I mean, I didn't see anything wrong with it. She
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: she was also share and she was also Madonna. Uh yeah.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: But Kim also had defenders who pointed out that she
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: paid tribute to Aliyah without doing black face or anything
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: else offensive. Yeah, she just dressed you know how Aaliyah
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: wore the you know, the real high mid drifts and

- 1:12:21Speaker 1: just slept so hard. I didn't boiled all the water
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: out of the ramen noodles. When you get that pot cricket,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: what is that? The man sounds like chicken? What is
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: that nose? You ever slept so hard you wake up

- 1:13:01Speaker 1: you did something that didn't make sense you. Yeah, I
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: don't know how that got on you. Stuff so hard
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: and you woke up and you on the floor and

- 1:13:18Speaker 1: started in the bed. Why am I on the floor?
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: So okay last night, I'm I'm exhausted, y'all. From from
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: from Hallellueen with the baby. I don't know how I
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: was just sleeping. Just I woke up at the other
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: end of the bid. How hard I was going in
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: that's normally when that's normally question Oh how I got
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: that way? Because we have been on the flip of
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Carla Carla? Yeah, is that what happened? Telling yourself you flipped?
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: You've been flipped. It's just me. Flap it up, flip it,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: rub it down. Let me tell you something. You know,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: you didn't slept hard when you wake up and your
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: whole face is orange, because you didn't fell asleep in
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: the bag of cheat, slept hard watching the gag. You
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: just slept hard When the design of the pillow you
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: were sleeping on is imprinted on the right side of
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: your face, you sleep. That's it right there, Mike Tyson
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: tattoo of mine. You just got a whole on the
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: side of your face. What was I do you ever
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: been sleep so hard that when you jerked backwards and
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: you on the You ever done it? You've been sleeping
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: your head pop dot you yes, yes, Hold up? You
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: ever been sleep with your elbow on the edge of
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: a chair like on the plane and fell off in
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: the scared you start the plane with crash. I'm talking
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: about fell off in that aisle. I'm talking about head.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: Everythink yeah, and everybody looking at you. I love airplane sleep,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: fall asleep at the table and your elbow slapped the
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: table and then your whole faces in your dinner. But
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: I love it when Steve talks about when he tied
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: when he works, you know, yeah, he works so hard,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: but when he gets ready to go to sleep that ritual.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Come on, take us home with that one. Well, man,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: this is when you know you tie. You come in
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: the house, you don't had a rough day, but you
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: want to sleep really good. Yeah. You take a hot bath,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: not a shower, a bath. You get out, you dry off,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: You take some vixed vapor rules and rub it on
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: your chest or peter washcloth up in the oven, lay
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: it on your chest, put a sweatshirt on on top
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: of that. You ain't got no bottoms on you take
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: a hand full of vasiline and just pack it around
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: your feet and put on some of them thick white
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: socks so you can get some insolation going and right
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: for you turn in, you get some sulfur eight or
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Glover's mane and rub it on your scalp and tie
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: your head up and on the edge your mom a rag. Yeah,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: I ain't coming up out of the hour Tommy and
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Junior with my favorite right or Wrong. You're listening to
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, this
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: is where you shine too. It's time for the Nephew
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: and Junior with right and Wrong? Did you see me
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: yesterday all with this food at the line. That's who
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: we'll call. Well, that's what you're on the phone. I
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: was on the phone yesterday. Uncle's with you. Yeah, I
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: don't know when you rushed me off the phonebody time
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: for that time we over here trying to do things.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: I don't know. You'll have to sig off. You could
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: have put him on the phone. I don't know. He
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: was sitting there next to year. Well he's here now,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: he's here now, nephew, come on, Steve, you gotta be
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: the judge, all right, just the one I called him on.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: I asked him. I said, uh, I say listen, okay,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: just tell me. I know I'm right, But tell Junior,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: all serial killers, he's serial That's how they got the name. Now,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: they do bad things, but they have a healthy breakfast
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: before they start. You know what I'm saying. Tell him
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: that I was come back. Now. All serial killers eat cereal.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: That's why they call that. Boy. Well, let me let
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: me get in here, because I got it straighten you out.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: The term serial killer came from a man winning a
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: grocery store one time and open fire in the cereal
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: out and shot all the box. So y'all didn't know
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: that that really? See really, yeah, I'm just giving me.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: And if you're gonna be stupid, you have some times
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: you have to support it because he really believe in that.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: But the part about they eat a good breakfast where
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: they go out, what it's all about. Truly that he said.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: But if you take the serial way, they'll stop. Oh
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: that's what he's said. Yeah, cheerios for you. Yeah, he
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: said they'll stop it because they ain't got no more serious.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Give me those fruit looks. Okay, So to watch this
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: right here, all right, Hell, junior, life insurance should be
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: called dead insurance because that's the only way you're gonna
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: get it, right. Why why would they do that? It's
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: dead insurance. It's not life has to leave. Boy, you
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: gotta be dead to get the money. True, And when
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: you're dead, you don't get a damn thing exactly. He
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: agrees with you. Yes, we're on. Me and him are
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: always on the same page. He just got to open
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: up his mind to see it. But I told him
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: that the money goes to the people that's living. Hello, Okay,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: here we go here, Junior. When sheep are trying to
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: get some sleep, don't they count each other? I like that.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: I like that right there, when they try to get
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: some sleep there they count each other like yeah, that's
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: good boy, Yeah, move over, count you already saying come on,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: step step to all right, No, this is broken to art.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: When dog food is new and improved, okay, I old, Junior.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: How do they know that? Who tasted it? They ain't
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: got no idea. It's new and improved and it's better.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: How you know it's improved If you ain't. The dog
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: ain't told you this is better? Okay? Date date right? Right?
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: What j date what day. I don't. I don't. I
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: don't know. I can't defend that the dog, the dog
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: performed better. Maybe he runs longer, I don't know. Or
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: the dogs ate all the food versus the other food.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: Maybe maybe maybe that sounds logical, Yeah, sound logical thinking it, yeah,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: overthink it. Yeah, But he just don't think. You know.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: That's why you're not a stupid genius, because you don't.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: You don't have this together. It's one out of what
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I got a breaking my neck? All right, Okay, okay,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: answer this here. I told you Junior, talking about they
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: have to want somebody died a couple of weeks ago,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: coming they got when you know, when they lore the casket,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: they lock it. Why they got to lock it? Why
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: they got to lock the casket? Answering me that though,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: why are we putting these locks on these casks? Well,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: because some people, uh do criminal acts by exhuming bodies
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: and open caskets. And you know, so I understand it,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: But do you think the person in it gonna open
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: it while they're dining there? It's called grave rob I
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: think the lockers on the outside the person is as
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: safe this this one here, you're stupid. There's no genius
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: and this one all yeah, you're just stupid. They locked
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: it from the outside. Yeah, how do you think it?
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Getting what you think? Ahead and lock it? I got
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: it down. I'm I mean that's where you just stupid.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: Mr Robbins. Are you in now? I'm in here. Hope
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: that wasn't your last one? All right? I did some
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: gumbo this weekend. Carl Junior said, I cook some gumbo.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: We're talking back and forth, and I tell him there
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: is no such thing as minute rice because it takes
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: fifteen minutes to cook it. What what? No, it doesn't.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I promise you'll put the clock on for minute. It
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: doesn't take fifteen minutes to cook minute right? If you stupid,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: it doesn't shut if you don't know, no, it takes
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: it takes Uncle, promise you they lying about this minute? Right?
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: It takes longer than a minute. You should have closed
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: with the casket one On second thought, I don't care
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: what I need to close. I'm gonna say, keep home.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: Can I tell you what? Yo? You're listening to the
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Jane Jackson made a recent sentimental journey.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: You know she's back on tour and everything. She's doing
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: her thing right now. The day after her suburban Chicago
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: concert at the All State Arena, Janet and her baby
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: brother Randy, visited their hometown of you nowhere, Gary, Indiana.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Going back right, they stopped, Yeah, they stopped by the
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: families one time home at twenty three hundred Jackson Street. Remember,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: they made a song about it. Then they visited Roosevelt
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: High School, where they had a Q and A session
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: with the students. Randy said, work hard and keep God
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: in it. Janet agreed, always keep God close to you,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: before urging them to stay focused and follow their dreams.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: Janne It admitted she was two or three when her
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: parents and siblings moved to l A Once the Jackson
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Five's career took off. Still, she um just started crying
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: when she saw the old house. She said, me and
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: my family are so blessed. I'm so thankful, her brother added.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: When we left Gary, all we had was love and
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: a dream. Asked by a student to name her favorite album,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: Janet singled out Rhythm Nation. Uh, no surprise, They're right,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: everybody loves Rhythm Nation. She said. When I was writing it,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: the things that were happening then are still happening, such
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: as drugs, ignorance, and racism. So yeah, and that's where
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Rhythm Nation was all about. You know, great album, great album. Yeah,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: and she did r and um more Jackson news. Michael
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Jackson's youngest son, Blanket, just turned fifteen. Wow, time is blind. Yeah,
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: and his grandmother, Catherine says he's old enough now to
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: take care of himself. This is according to t mz uh.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: Mrs Jackson has decided to give up her role, yeah,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: as guardian of the young man, a role she spilled
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: since two thousand twelve. Mrs Jackson, Yeah, yeah, yeah. She
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: pointed to his age at fifteen and the fact that
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: she's seven and not getting any younger. Blanket isn't totally emancipated, though.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: He still has to answer to his older supervising adult.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: That's uncle t. J. Jackson. That is the oldest son
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: of Michael's brother Tito. So he still has yet Mrs
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: Jackson just isn't doing it. Yeah. I think he got on,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: miss Catherine, say something to me out of you. Well,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: around that age, that's when we all start, you know,
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: smell going a little crazy. I couldn't, but yeah, I
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: heard about it. What do you mean you couldn't. I
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: couldn't smell myself at no age. Oh you couldn't. You
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: didn't ever had a moment, Steve, where you say some
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: crazy to myself. You never said it to your parents.
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: You never once out I'd be crazy. I knew not to.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: My father was clear. My father was crystal clear. If
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: you cossage around your mama, or you talk back to
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: your mama, I'm gonna beat your head. That's pretty straightforward.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: And if I can't be kidding, if you ever put
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: your hand on your mama, raise your hand to your mama,
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: that would be your last day on this hurt. He
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: was clear. We we couldn't even We couldn't even know. No,
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: I never I never spoke to them in a disrespectful
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: what I just want to I don't have one incident
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: why Snap went off on my mama. God, I knew
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: you're gonna tell him him him, and you never went
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: up in your dad. You never went in. I had
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: too much respect for them. I understood at a young
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: age man what they was going through. You know, whites
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: and colors, only water fountain. You can't work hell riding on,
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: can't ride the are sitting in the front man. My
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: parents were there for that. Man. They's explaining that stuff
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: to me. I grew up with a full understanding of it.
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: You know. I responded on my Instagram page for the
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: first time ever yesterday, respond that it will say that
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: for the next break find out Steve Harvey Speer. Yeah,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: more of the show right after these jams. You're listening
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, here we go, going
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: back to the don't yeah. Two scariest words of sports
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: is Game seven. Yeah, been excited. Keep your man not boring.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: It's been a very exciting. We believe Game seven is
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: a booty clitcher. I'm tight already, put it quick that
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: I want to see if that one they can't have
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: me in the boot everybody booty tight now just coming
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: off through the TV. Do it feel like lemon juice
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: going down your crack right now? Yeah, it's a real folks. Hey,
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: welcome to the Game seven. Astros against the Dodgers, and folks,
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: we got a booty clicture for you here today. My
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: butt been tight all week. I'll tell you right now.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: I'm I'm boys right now, you know, you know, just
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: the sheer fiction and just keep my button this tight together.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: Yeah to TV though, Yeah, people eating, I'm just the
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: closest thing. I felt the confirmation in my life. Game
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: seven anyway, Game seven tonight in l A, come on,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: stros history, all right, who's the most powerful man in Washington?
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: In Well, uh, it may not be who you think
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: it is Special Counsel Robert Mueller. As we know, the
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: first indictments in the Special Council investigation into President Trump's
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: former campaign have been unsealed. Former Donald Trump campaign manager
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Paul Manafort and his former business associate and protege uh
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: Rick Gates have pleaded not guilty to all the charges
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: against them, which include conspiracy to launder money, unregistered um
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: agent of a foreign principle, and more. The issue is
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: the work that Manafort and Gates did between two thousand
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: six and two thousand and fifteen. Okay, records have revealed
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: that Manafort and Gates generated tens of millions of dollars
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: and income as a result of the work they did
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: with the government of Ukraine. Manafort and Gates have both
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: entered please of not guilty, as I mentioned, and they've
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: been released on bond at ten million and five million, respectively. Yeah,
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: that's a lot of money. They're both confined under house arrest.
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: These arrest the headed passports too. Yeah. Again, they can
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: only see their lawyer if they can go out for
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: the doctor for religious reasons or to see their attorney.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: So that's number one. Yeah. Otherwise one, I'm at the
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: doctor's office now. Otherwise and according to NBC of mana
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: for it provides information about anything anything dealing with President
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: Trump's campaign, Congress will consider impeach and you know, and
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: these guys are on the house arrest. This is serious.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: But the biggest thing was that guy George Poppo whatever
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: he lied to the FBI. Yeah, he's played guilty to
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: Lyon and they've tied him. I watched CNN. They've tied
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: him to Mola and the other guy that got Gates,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: which tied them to a high ranking campaign official at
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: the Trump administration, which asked him to set the meeting up.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: Its about to get ugly, folks. You're listening to show
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: here we are with the last break of the day.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: Just one more thing, Steve, So now you were saying
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: yesterday you responded for the first time to someone on
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: Instagram because you know, normally I know, I just make
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: my post that I've gone about my business. N of
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: my comments are positives, you know, which exceptional When I
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: went to see Donald Trump, and I was all types
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: of names and everything, and most people didn't even understand
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: it and still don't. So I posted a picture of
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: just me and my family. You know, I was just
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: how blessed I am man to have a family like
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: I have and to be the head of that family.
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: I'm I'm the father and the grandfather, so you know,
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: you know, I've gained the respect of my children. You know,
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: all of my children respected, and so everybody was beautiful family,
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: God bless y'all. Really mind And it's one lady starter
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: in talking about how I really respect you in your
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: rise to fame and everything, but how could you possibly
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: be a Trump supporter and how and that the fact
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: that you're a Trump support Trump supporter is beyond me
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: and blah blah blah blah blah. How could you the
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: demon that he is? And you have the right to
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: do what you wanna do, but I don't see why
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: you're a Trump supporter. So my response was really really
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: quite simple. I said, you obviously don't know me, do
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: you just because you took a meeting does not make
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: you a supporter, I said, but if you listen to
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: my radio show, you would know more of who I am,
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: how I feel, and who I voted for. I say so,
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: God bless you. I say, stay woke because I am
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: with love. Steve and a lot of people said, Steve
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: very well said you're very dignified. The lady responded back
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: and it was actually very positive. She said, I'm sorry,
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: I didn't know I misspoke, and she said, you know,
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: I really accept my apology. I do admire you and
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: respect you, and please forgive me, and she did in
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: a loving way, and it was really really a cool
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: exchange on on on my social media. But it was
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: a very time I've ever responded, Yeah, you really behaved,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: but you've grown. Oh, I have grown tremendously because normally
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: I would have just fired back. And I want to
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: thank my crew for saving me on many occasions from
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: just find back. But I do got one though. Well,
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say this. I'm not gonna say no
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: names or nothing. There's a man that's threatening me right now. What. Yeah,
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: there's a man that's threatening me with with just a
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: piece of bullcrap and he didn't came up with. Yeah,
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: so we get on the radio to tell us somebody
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: thre because please don't you're not just started. But he
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: trying to extort me for some money. But he don't
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: understand me. I'm just gonna tell you right now, sir,
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: I don't do that. I don't be in you know,
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: in this whole thing. And you know they're always tell
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: the celebrity, I'm gonna go to the press, call your ass.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: Yeah you don't think I've been in the pressed before? Yeah? Man,
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: you man, you go head on. But but I also
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: want to say this too. When you go over there,
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: you're gonna mess around and put yourself in a position
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: that so many others have. Because somebody sent me a
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: scripture the other day that I had forgotten about, and
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: you know, I've read it, but I think you really
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: really need to read Psalms, the twenty three songs, because
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: the twenty third Psalms is a very if you are
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: a believer in a person of faith, the thre Psalms
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: is a great passage. I'd be I've been reading this
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: since I was a kid, right, But you get a
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: deeper understanding of it when you get good and grown,
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: and so I'm gonna send this out. I'm you know
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna send this out to
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: him before he comes with this. Now, I'm gonna just
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: send it to him. My ship, you follow me. Now
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: here's the part where he's gonna have to learn like
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: all the rest of him haters had to learn. This
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: is the good part about Psalms twenty three. Thou prepares
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: Thou anoinage my head with all see everybody that's ever
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: come for me to hate it on me. All they
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: could do is just watch God. He just kept preparing
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: that table for me, And that's all I'm gonna send
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: it to him. So before you go down this path, brother,
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: I'm just gonna let you know. And I ain't gonna
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: do nothing to you. I promise you. I ain't gonna
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: speak dog do something to my what's your scriptures? Just
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: hear him just praying? Let me pull Is he through pren?
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: What is we passed? I don't want to mess up to.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: Let me be quiet. Is we through pren? You know? Pro? Okay? Cool?
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: What revelations say about this the end? What that say
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: I don't know. Certainly you know the book real good?
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: What revelations say about this the end? Don't it depends that? What? What? What?
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: Who wrote? What? John? John? The Apocalypse of John? Right
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: where you're going with? I want to know? Come one,
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Let me stay out the word.
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: Let me just go from my book in the book,
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: from the book of mine. Let me tell you this,
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: hire from the book of me. You're gonna get your ass.
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: What if I find out you did something to my uncle?
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: That's verse one, verse two, Then we're gonna beat your
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: ass some more. After that verse three, you're gonna hope
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: I can't find your ass. We gotta go. Please take
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: us home, Steve, but you're crazy. Nephew gets us in
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: trouble by say bye, thank y'all, have a great day
