- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things, and it's not good to mother for
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join Jo. You gotta turn, you're going to arm.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out? Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come, come on your tha, I sure will
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. Y'all listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Man. If y'all only knew, I think
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'll tell it to you. This morning man started off
- 2:19Speaker 1: real crazy. But it's just those little mishaps where we
- 2:23Speaker 1: as people who are striving to be successful, that makes
- 2:28Speaker 1: all the difference in the world. When you have those
- 2:31Speaker 1: little minor things that come up, you can't let the
- 2:34Speaker 1: minor things stop you. You've got to keep pressing forward. Now,
- 2:39Speaker 1: Could I have played the role of where is my car?
- 2:42Speaker 1: Where is my car? Oh? Where is my car? Instead
- 2:47Speaker 1: of hustling and grab a cab? So what am I?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Am I above a cab ride now? Or do I
- 2:55Speaker 1: have to look at the bigger picture and say, okay,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I could act like a little spoiled brat some type
- 3:00Speaker 1: of star and go, I don't ride in cabs or
- 3:03Speaker 1: where as my car and then go to blaming people
- 3:05Speaker 1: for not having a car, or do I make the
- 3:07Speaker 1: adjustments because ain't like I ain't been in the cab
- 3:09Speaker 1: before now slow down. Ain't like I ain't never been
- 3:11Speaker 1: in a in a beat up car before, slow down.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Ain't ever like I ain't never had a carb and
- 3:17Speaker 1: roll the bus before slow down. Ain't like I ain't
- 3:21Speaker 1: never been homeless before, and ain't have nowhere to go?
- 3:24Speaker 1: Slow down. So in those moments right there, always remember
- 3:29Speaker 1: where you come from, but even more importantly, always remember
- 3:32Speaker 1: where you're trying to go, because it's important for me
- 3:36Speaker 1: that I get here as many mornings as I possibly can.
- 3:39Speaker 1: It's important because that's the goal. And so many people
- 3:43Speaker 1: allowed a minor things to stop them on their road
- 3:45Speaker 1: to success. And I'm giving you this example today not
- 3:49Speaker 1: to say hey, look at me, but to say to you, hey,
- 3:52Speaker 1: listening to me. There are going to be a lot
- 3:54Speaker 1: of things that's gonna happen along your way to being successful.
- 3:57Speaker 1: And if you allow the small things to stop you,
- 4:00Speaker 1: there's no way you'll make it. You've got to always
- 4:02Speaker 1: press forward and stop looking at the situation for what
- 4:05Speaker 1: it is and look, sometimes you have to take your
- 4:07Speaker 1: offer right now and put your eye in the future.
- 4:10Speaker 1: You know, God has blessed me in so many ways.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I mean, what can I say? You know, I ask
- 4:14Speaker 1: God for this syndicated show. He gives me a syndicated show.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Now I act like I don't want to come to it.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Hold on, man, slow down. Did not you ask for this?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Do I not realize that there are certain people, man,
- 4:26Speaker 1: who look forward to this message in the morning. I've
- 4:29Speaker 1: heard it from people, so from the hundreds that I've
- 4:33Speaker 1: heard it for, that could represent thousands for all I know.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So if I think somebody's counting on me, I got
- 4:40Speaker 1: to try to get there and give something. So today
- 4:43Speaker 1: I didn't have any time at all to think about
- 4:45Speaker 1: what I might say. I just walked right in and
- 4:47Speaker 1: the jingle was playing, and so I decided to just
- 4:50Speaker 1: tell you about my day and maybe you can relate
- 4:52Speaker 1: it to something you're going through alone the way, because
- 4:55Speaker 1: no matter who you are, you're going to have some
- 4:57Speaker 1: moments man, where things are going to have happen. And
- 5:00Speaker 1: like I always tell my kids and I just had
- 5:03Speaker 1: this conversation with my little girl. It ain't that things
- 5:05Speaker 1: ain't gonna happen. It's how you handle what happens that matters.
- 5:10Speaker 1: But it don't matter. It's how you handle what happens
- 5:13Speaker 1: that's the determining factor on where you get in life
- 5:16Speaker 1: and how soon you get there and how long you
- 5:19Speaker 1: stay there. That will always be a mishap, something that's
- 5:25Speaker 1: gonna throw you off. That will always be something man,
- 5:28Speaker 1: that could deter you. That will be something somewhere, man,
- 5:32Speaker 1: that will make you doubt it. Now that you know
- 5:35Speaker 1: that's gonna happen, then let's talk about how you handle
- 5:38Speaker 1: what happens, because it's going to happen. So now, what
- 5:42Speaker 1: do you do as a person when these moments come
- 5:44Speaker 1: about in your life? How do you handle? Oh? Woe
- 5:47Speaker 1: is me? Oh? I guess it wasn't meant to be. Well.
- 5:52Speaker 1: If the Lord wanted me to have this, I'd have that.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Know how many deal how many times you hear people
- 5:56Speaker 1: say that? You know, man, it really irks me. Man,
- 6:00Speaker 1: Stop using God as your excuse. God ain't no excuse.
- 6:05Speaker 1: God is a reason. He's a reason why the good happens.
- 6:11Speaker 1: He's a reason he's not an excuse. God don't have
- 6:14Speaker 1: no excuses in none of his scriptures or writings, not
- 6:17Speaker 1: that I but he just don't make excuses. I would
- 6:20Speaker 1: have done this. But you know there's a scripture that
- 6:24Speaker 1: says the poor will all shall always be amongst us.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Why that's got to be you. Yeah, he said the
- 6:31Speaker 1: poor will always be amongst us, because you know, everybody
- 6:33Speaker 1: ain't gonna follow the principles of success. But he also
- 6:36Speaker 1: said he came to give you life and give it
- 6:38Speaker 1: to you more abundantly. He said that too, But oh no,
- 6:42Speaker 1: you don't want to hear that because your life kind
- 6:44Speaker 1: of trip it out a little bit. So now what
- 6:46Speaker 1: you do with it? Now you twist it and you
- 6:48Speaker 1: go to that one little scripture that say, well, the
- 6:51Speaker 1: poor shall always be amongst us, Well, that's put in
- 6:55Speaker 1: there because that's a that's suggests in case. See, that's
- 6:58Speaker 1: a just in case y'all all don't want to follow
- 7:01Speaker 1: the scriptures. That's just in case you don't understand that
- 7:04Speaker 1: faith without works is dead. That's just in case you
- 7:08Speaker 1: have not because you ask not. It's just in case
- 7:12Speaker 1: you don't believe and shall not doubt. He got all
- 7:15Speaker 1: that in there. But in case you don't want to
- 7:17Speaker 1: do that, there is a scripture that tells you what
- 7:19Speaker 1: don't happen if you don't do it, And here it
- 7:22Speaker 1: is the poor shall always be a monster. But then
- 7:25Speaker 1: you get that when they say, well, hell, that's I
- 7:27Speaker 1: guess that's the lord's will. Lord's will, really, really, really really,
- 7:32Speaker 1: that's amazing. I just don't believe that about him. I
- 7:36Speaker 1: don't believe that God created your life to be a
- 7:39Speaker 1: life of misery. I think that we make decisions along
- 7:44Speaker 1: the way that cause us to have lives of misery.
- 7:47Speaker 1: But I really really just don't believe that God created
- 7:52Speaker 1: you for that. I've heard Nelson Mandela speak, and you know,
- 7:58Speaker 1: you gotta go wild all those years in prison? Man,
- 8:03Speaker 1: what was it about? When you hear him speak, you
- 8:05Speaker 1: understand what it was about. He said he always knew
- 8:09Speaker 1: he would be free one day. Now, what he said
- 8:12Speaker 1: he never knew was he said he never knew that
- 8:15Speaker 1: he would be the president of that country. Oh my goodness,
- 8:21Speaker 1: what a long way around. But he could have sat
- 8:24Speaker 1: there and got involved in prison activities that wasn't up
- 8:28Speaker 1: to pawing things like that. And they said whenever young
- 8:32Speaker 1: inmates used to come in. He was telling the story
- 8:34Speaker 1: one time of how young inmates used to come into
- 8:37Speaker 1: the prison. They all sit around and talk to him
- 8:39Speaker 1: about what they were doing and how many kids they
- 8:41Speaker 1: had in their lives, and it helped them keep track
- 8:44Speaker 1: of the outside a little bit, and it kept a
- 8:46Speaker 1: sense of time for them, and it reminded me in
- 8:49Speaker 1: to talk about what they left behind, and it kept
- 8:51Speaker 1: them going because something was greater on the other side.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Had he allowed that to stop him, had he allowed
- 9:00Speaker 1: the imprisonment, which is a pretty major deal. Oh, by
- 9:02Speaker 1: the way, then guess what he would have never been
- 9:05Speaker 1: to Nelson Mandela that we know to day, a martyr,
- 9:08Speaker 1: a leader, a great force. People want to go around him.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Even people that imprisoned him could not understand his staunch strength,
- 9:17Speaker 1: his faith, his unwavering commitment. They couldn't understand it. So
- 9:22Speaker 1: things are going to happen in your life, but it's
- 9:24Speaker 1: how you handle what happens doesn't matter. So keep pushing, y'all.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Don't let the little things get in the way, okay,
- 9:30Speaker 1: And if you just sometimes you just don't know. I
- 9:32Speaker 1: got in the cab thinking I wasn't gonna make it,
- 9:34Speaker 1: But at least let's go see. Let's try. I made it. Now.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Guess what that gives me? Another piece of information that
- 9:41Speaker 1: I have and all I had to see it again
- 9:44Speaker 1: to date. Guess what I said today? Man, Sometimes when
- 9:47Speaker 1: it looked like you ain't gonna make it, just go
- 9:49Speaker 1: head on anywhere. Now. I could still be back there
- 9:51Speaker 1: at the hotel time I wear my car, but I
- 9:54Speaker 1: got up in here made it. So now what y'all
- 9:56Speaker 1: gonna do with it? Let's go. You're listening Morning show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, It's about to go down. The Steve
- 10:06Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show is here now listen. We normally start
- 10:10Speaker 1: this show with the words like attitude, gratitude, altitude, you know,
- 10:17Speaker 1: things like that of the positive nature. So I see
- 10:19Speaker 1: no reason to start it any other way. If you
- 10:23Speaker 1: show more gratitude, it will affect your attitude, which then
- 10:28Speaker 1: increases your altitude. There, I've said it. Now that's the
- 10:32Speaker 1: way we do it. That's how we started. It's about
- 10:34Speaker 1: to pop off right now, Ladies and gentlemen, That dog

- 16:24Speaker 1: in a physical way? How I've been bullying him? Bullying him? You?
- 16:28Speaker 1: Have you been happened to bullying him for somebody to
- 16:32Speaker 1: turn in and give us who who? Who? Whim? You
- 16:37Speaker 1: need to go to talk to him? I can't put
- 16:39Speaker 1: him on this. This is what I'm talking about. This
- 16:41Speaker 1: what you're talking about. You found me at my jast
- 16:43Speaker 1: put off like an HTT crash, and then I turned
- 16:46Speaker 1: somebody in for some arguments. We're married. Who are you
- 16:49Speaker 1: freaking know who's married and does not argue? I understand

- 17:21Speaker 1: been bullying your husband. You've been using bad language with y'all. Know,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I want to talk to him, my husband when he
- 17:31Speaker 1: said I do I do sets whatever she said to me.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Whenever he's talking about how irish he said this, and
- 17:35Speaker 1: never he gets and if he has the problems with
- 17:38Speaker 1: arguing and me city to start his craft and he
- 17:39Speaker 1: won't be in an argument and you tell him that,
- 17:42Speaker 1: you see, this is what we're talking about. This is
- 17:44Speaker 1: why he's been picked up today and brought into our
- 17:46Speaker 1: custody so that he would be definitely protected from you.
- 17:49Speaker 1: You know how if he needs a profession and he's
- 17:51Speaker 1: in your custody as you can keep him mere how that. Well,
- 17:53Speaker 1: here's what we're gonna do. Somebody's gonna be picking you up,
- 17:56Speaker 1: bringing you in so we can have a conversation. Ever
- 17:58Speaker 1: bringing me nowhere? What do you think is in? We're
- 18:02Speaker 1: bringing you in so we can have a conversation with you.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Let me explain something to you, ma'am. We will be
- 18:07Speaker 1: bringing you in having a conversation. What your with you?
- 18:11Speaker 1: You're gonna be coming in and you're gonna do it
- 18:14Speaker 1: where anywhere with anybody want. Are you physically or mentally
- 18:18Speaker 1: abusing your husband? You know what. You don't have to
- 18:20Speaker 1: pick me up? Tell me where you I will come
- 18:21Speaker 1: to you want to tick me up, I will. I
- 18:23Speaker 1: will come down there. I will hear you in him
- 18:25Speaker 1: at the same time you tell me with you also out,
- 18:28Speaker 1: We're I'm going to ask you a serious question. Is
- 18:31Speaker 1: it sounds like a consequence of he doesn't listen to you.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Let's be a consequence. I mean, I mean, what are
- 18:35Speaker 1: you doing? Are you treating your husband like a child?
- 18:38Speaker 1: What are you doing to him asking like a poet?
- 18:40Speaker 1: You treat you like a child. If he had the
- 18:41Speaker 1: problem with how I see him, you talk to him
- 18:43Speaker 1: about he asked. Let me ask you something, miss Morgan.
- 18:46Speaker 1: What do you do for a letter in the head
- 18:47Speaker 1: of seturity at this building and about to cross thee
- 18:50Speaker 1: charity on me because I'm loud in this room? Oh,
- 18:52Speaker 1: because you're head of security, So you don't know all
- 18:54Speaker 1: about putting people in choke calls and how to apprehend
- 18:57Speaker 1: the person. Don't my job? Yes? So are you doing
- 19:01Speaker 1: that at home? What I'm not gonna tell you again?
- 19:05Speaker 1: I don't harm that man in any way noway? Harbor Ever,
- 19:08Speaker 1: what I ever more? Has he need? He needs to
- 19:10Speaker 1: get him behind in his car and go gras to work.
- 19:13Speaker 1: We have builds to things. Don't have time for this crack.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say to you.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Are you're listening? You have nothing to say to me,
- 19:19Speaker 1: But then you want to put my husband and trying
- 19:20Speaker 1: to let me talk to him about it? Shut sit down,

- 27:13Speaker 1: really speak. But here's something trait disappointing to me dealing
- 27:16Speaker 1: with women, don't. I wish I had women whose babies
- 27:19Speaker 1: went to sleep. If I if I could just get that,
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm dating women now. They babies got more energy, They
- 27:26Speaker 1: stay up. These kids have no idea about nine o'clock. No,

- 28:03Speaker 1: here's a question for you, guys. What do you do
- 28:06Speaker 1: before sex to make it more incredible? Nugget? Man? Really
- 28:17Speaker 1: is this Taylor made for you? Tommy? I mean I
- 28:19Speaker 1: can I can give you something what you got Tommy.
- 28:22Speaker 1: I mean you're always talking. I'm trying to feel it
- 28:30Speaker 1: while you're editing. Let me tell you spur of the moment.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Sex is always hot and exciting, but sometimes we have
- 28:36Speaker 1: more time to prepare for upcoming sexy time. And putting
- 28:39Speaker 1: that time to good youth can make can help things,
- 28:43Speaker 1: you know, go to the next level, so to speak.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Here's how to get into the mood in advance to
- 28:48Speaker 1: make sex more amazing. Don't look bored like you already
- 28:52Speaker 1: know this, Steve, Okay, like you don't need any help
- 28:55Speaker 1: in this area. Look at all the guys in the
- 28:57Speaker 1: room like yes, yes, like they could have ridden all
- 29:03Speaker 1: the stuff about me. Okay. First of all, get in
- 29:09Speaker 1: the mood. Time to start thinking about what's going to
- 29:12Speaker 1: turn you on later. So that's how you get in
- 29:15Speaker 1: the mood. You start thinking about what's going to turn
- 29:17Speaker 1: you on later. Okay, say it's now. You know, when
- 29:21Speaker 1: we get off you start thinking about it now. So
- 29:23Speaker 1: by the time we get off work and you get home,
- 29:25Speaker 1: you gotta do it. Tell me what if you mentioned it? Hey,
- 29:32Speaker 1: we're gonna do something when we get home. Yeah, that's enough.
- 29:36Speaker 1: That's enough for any man. Stop, you promise me something.
- 29:45Speaker 1: You know, we've been turning me only I've been catching
- 29:48Speaker 1: her and I don't know what it is. When I
- 29:52Speaker 1: just boy, when I catch her hand, it just it
- 29:56Speaker 1: happens right there at the animals because the kids, I'm
- 30:00Speaker 1: going to come in the launching part of the boy,
- 30:02Speaker 1: we'd be right down. Can't whole Wait, man, I like,
- 30:07Speaker 1: I like when you're walking up the steps and I'm behind.
- 30:10Speaker 1: That's it. The game name makes sense. Ironing is not sexy.
- 30:16Speaker 1: So you when my baby leaning over and beyond him, God,
- 30:21Speaker 1: that is the greatest thing in the world. Now, I'd
- 30:23Speaker 1: be like, these pills it's five damn dollar, go down.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Do we have to hear about these pills every time?
- 30:41Speaker 1: The cost of the pills, all of that, every time
- 30:45Speaker 1: every single time. Yes, okay, so here's another here's another tip,
- 30:50Speaker 1: so you know, when you're thinking about it early, start texting,
- 30:54Speaker 1: because it takes women a little longer. We're not as
- 30:56Speaker 1: ready set go as you guys, so it takes us
- 30:59Speaker 1: a long time. I'm to warr you no longer time
- 31:01Speaker 1: to warm up to get where you guys already are
- 31:04Speaker 1: in here. I have another problem with that because I'm
- 31:06Speaker 1: such a bad speller. And then I text I'm gonna
- 31:08Speaker 1: tell that grass up, and you get she's looking at
- 31:37Speaker 1: her phone like what she gonna say, saying good because
- 31:41Speaker 1: I mean asking you to get things that garbage. Okay,
- 32:01Speaker 1: So they say eat frisky friendly foods, you know, like um,
- 32:05Speaker 1: like oysters, things like that. You know, the foods that
- 32:08Speaker 1: say that they're aprodisiacs. Don't eat the rito. Yeah. Yeah,
- 32:12Speaker 1: they don't want you to eat cool wrench on your breath.
- 32:17Speaker 1: It's not cool. It smells a lot like a rink cools.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Your breath do smell like a wrench, but it ain't
- 32:27Speaker 1: nothing cool. But that's exactly what they says. Avoid foods
- 32:32Speaker 1: that cause bloating and bad breath. That's exactly what cigars are.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Not helpful at all. Boy, you don't know how many
- 32:41Speaker 1: times you love your cigars. Yeah, but you know, I know,
- 32:47Speaker 1: you know, before I go to Big Dog, I have
- 32:51Speaker 1: to brush it. First of all, I have to wash
- 32:54Speaker 1: my muschard. You don't really see lips a whole nother
- 33:00Speaker 1: separate back. My lips is a whole solid man. I
- 33:10Speaker 1: got to brush my teeth with toothpaste, okay. Then I
- 33:13Speaker 1: brush them with listerine okay. Then I rent with list okay,
- 33:19Speaker 1: and then you know, I go eat something cool and refreshing. Men. Yeah,
- 33:24Speaker 1: but don't come in there at all with cigar brow now,
- 33:27Speaker 1: because I actually live with the bloodhout. Yeah, you smell
- 33:33Speaker 1: like an ass trait. Then it says, access your wardrobe.
- 33:39Speaker 1: You know, where's something sexy that your woman might like
- 33:43Speaker 1: or your guy might like? So what what would that
- 33:45Speaker 1: be for you? Jack? I gotta suggestion. You know, if
- 33:58Speaker 1: you decorate a jockeysh drap a whole nother out it out,
- 34:07Speaker 1: you know, put a little print on it left, but
- 34:11Speaker 1: you know, okay, all right, put put a snake mouth
- 34:16Speaker 1: on it. I'm coming to Vible with with a T
- 34:20Speaker 1: shirt tied in a nat What the last thing you want?

- 35:17Speaker 1: both my hands is attached to this rope and this
- 35:21Speaker 1: safety device, so we're not watching where I'm not watching.

- 38:08Speaker 1: we can do this because Junior is a comedian, I'm
- 38:10Speaker 1: a comedian, Tim's a comedian, and Steve's the king comedians watching,
- 38:14Speaker 1: Yes that go see Junior's comedian. I mean Time's comedian

- 39:48Speaker 1: Who need all her ass showing? Why come on? Show? Yeah?
- 39:55Speaker 1: The only reason why I'm looking at her because you know,
- 39:57Speaker 1: my cousin Rolanda that had that just like her. Because
- 40:03Speaker 1: of Rolanda looked just like her. That's why I'm staring

- 41:00Speaker 1: I don't like as like that. I don't see the purpose.
- 41:08Speaker 1: All right, baby, listen, I'm just so glad, I really am.

- 41:25Speaker 1: too funny. Okay, she said you. My wife had asked me,
- 41:31Speaker 1: excuse you, why are you looking over there at that
- 41:33Speaker 1: other woman. I'm right here. Jesus. She needs Jesus, Jesus,
- 41:44Speaker 1: you better bring the Lord into she needs. What hard
- 41:57Speaker 1: hard to hard for me about the holly, hard for

- 42:13Speaker 1: to shut this one down. Lies. Men tell when they're
- 42:17Speaker 1: they're caught looking at another woman. You know what, that
- 42:19Speaker 1: is the cutest dog I have ever seen in my life.
- 42:23Speaker 1: That's a dog. I've never seen a dog that cute.

- 45:36Speaker 1: twelfth grade. Man, we went the problem together, all right. Right,
- 45:39Speaker 1: look all right, man, I see um you know what man,
- 45:42Speaker 1: I'm I'm let me see. I I don't know. I
- 45:46Speaker 1: don't know what Glenda what she meant by by telling
- 45:50Speaker 1: you you could come through the crib, bro. But you
- 45:52Speaker 1: you can't come through my house, dog. I mean I didn't.

- 46:14Speaker 1: I'm not gonnahity and go back and forth with you.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I'd have ran into Glenna in the stough. Glenna said
- 46:19Speaker 1: she you know, it was good to see me, you know,
- 46:21Speaker 1: come through tonight. I say, cool, you know, and she
- 46:24Speaker 1: gave me the number, asking you what else I should
- 46:27Speaker 1: you know? What else I should get? You know? So
- 46:29Speaker 1: I'm calling you saying, hey, man, you want some ice
- 46:31Speaker 1: and some beer. I'm gonna roll through. Man, it's just
- 46:34Speaker 1: a party. Dog. You insecure? What's what's up? Ain't insecure? Listen?
- 46:38Speaker 1: Listen to me, dog, I'm I'm I'm gonna go and
- 46:41Speaker 1: get Glinda, all right? And because right he don't make
- 46:44Speaker 1: sense to me? Dog, what you mean? Glenna invited you
- 46:46Speaker 1: to the house, and I'm telling you right now, you
- 46:48Speaker 1: ain't coming to my house. Bro. If you come to
- 46:50Speaker 1: my house, she's gonna get up hold on. So what
- 46:53Speaker 1: you what you threatening me? Now? Dog? That's what I'm doing?
- 46:57Speaker 1: Who wish you dog. I'm fun. That's who I am.
- 47:01Speaker 1: I would remember to do the service. I'm our first
- 47:03Speaker 1: I'm the one she really remember? You mean you don't
- 47:06Speaker 1: want she really remember? I'm our first dog? She man?
- 47:09Speaker 1: That look? Man, I like I said, you bring your

- 47:24Speaker 1: I'll be over there because Glenda the one invited me,
- 47:26Speaker 1: and I'm showing up. And if you start tripping with me,
- 47:29Speaker 1: guess what, dog it's on in poperly. One thing I
- 47:31Speaker 1: ain't forgot it is my first love, and my first
- 47:34Speaker 1: love been invited me to the house. Man, I can't.
- 47:36Speaker 1: I can't even deal with it right here, bro, I'm

- 47:45Speaker 1: you to come on over. And you show up like
- 47:47Speaker 1: I said, you show up and you ain't going home.
- 47:50Speaker 1: I promise you that, brother. Is this whatever? Then? Man,

- 48:21Speaker 1: I got this pot on the phone. But Rick, yo, yo,

- 49:15Speaker 1: Is you listening? Is you listening? Because everdently you ain't.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Are you listening to me? You want to say? This
- 49:22Speaker 1: is nephew Tommy from the Steve Horby Morning Show. You

- 49:59Speaker 1: mama routine. Hey, Janthon Brown? Yeah what you need? Hey?
- 50:04Speaker 1: From my understanding, you know, the other day when I
- 50:06Speaker 1: was doing my golf turin, they telling me, they telling
- 50:11Speaker 1: me Jay you you you mister team Tommy President Team Time.
- 50:16Speaker 1: They telling me you you ceo a team time. You're

- 50:22Speaker 1: Why Timmy can't hear? Why are you? What did you
- 50:25Speaker 1: hear me? What in what in mind did you do?
- 50:29Speaker 1: Jay in minded fence If y'all gonna shit, didn't talk
- 50:32Speaker 1: about forgiving the lady. You know, y'all asking what I'm asking.
- 50:44Speaker 1: We had a long segment about forgiveness and what I'm
- 50:49Speaker 1: asking you to. If anything that was offensive, you just
- 50:58Speaker 1: search deep down in you and forgive me. I'm not
- 51:17Speaker 1: what I'm not going. All right, we gotta move on, guys.

- 51:58Speaker 1: read this one right here right now. Buckle up, hold
- 52:02Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you here. It is
- 52:04Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Thank you Nephew. Subject, I Think I'm
- 52:07Speaker 1: playing with fire. Here's Stephen Shirley. I'm an older single
- 52:11Speaker 1: man and I'm very nice looking, not your typical old
- 52:14Speaker 1: cornball pops type. Dating is hard for me because most
- 52:18Speaker 1: women my age have let themselves go and look natronly.
- 52:21Speaker 1: I love online dating sites and I have a great
- 52:24Speaker 1: time meeting and hooking up with various women. Recently, a
- 52:28Speaker 1: thirty year old bombshell sent me a message to say
- 52:31Speaker 1: that she was looking for a little financial help in
- 52:34Speaker 1: exchange for some confidential fun. So we have met up
- 52:38Speaker 1: for lip service a few times and that's it. We've
- 52:42Speaker 1: never gone all the way. I give her a little
- 52:44Speaker 1: extra money for bills and you know, to get her
- 52:47Speaker 1: hair done and her nails done, and she's happy. But
- 52:51Speaker 1: here's my problem. She asked me to do her a
- 52:54Speaker 1: big favor, and I agree to it. She told me
- 52:57Speaker 1: that her mom is single, gorgeous and a lot of fun,
- 53:00Speaker 1: but she has trouble meeting good men. She asked me
- 53:03Speaker 1: to escort her her mom to a galup as her date.
- 53:08Speaker 1: She told her mom that I am her co worker's dad,
- 53:10Speaker 1: and she showed her a picture of me. She showed
- 53:13Speaker 1: me a picture of her mom too. I took her
- 53:16Speaker 1: mom to the galup and we had a great time talking, laughing,
- 53:20Speaker 1: and dancing. We are the same age and we have
- 53:23Speaker 1: a lot in common. After the galup, she invited me
- 53:27Speaker 1: in for a nightcap. We had been drinking wine all night,
- 53:30Speaker 1: so one thing led to another and I ended up
- 53:34Speaker 1: spending the night with her. I must say that we're
- 53:36Speaker 1: compatible in the bedroom too. I think I want to
- 53:40Speaker 1: keep seeing this woman, but I don't want to mess
- 53:42Speaker 1: it up with what I have with her daughter. They
- 53:45Speaker 1: can give me two different and very pleasurable experiences. Besides,
- 53:50Speaker 1: the daughter is only in it for the money. What
- 53:53Speaker 1: do you think Can I get away with it? Or
- 53:55Speaker 1: am I playing with fire? Please help now? I don't
- 53:58Speaker 1: think you're going to be able to get away with
- 53:59Speaker 1: this one. They they're mother and daughter. You know they're
- 54:02Speaker 1: gonna talk. Yeah, you're playing with fire if you're not honest,
- 54:06Speaker 1: and if you get greedy, which is what you're doing.
- 54:09Speaker 1: What what are you doing? You're you're being greedy now,
- 54:12Speaker 1: I mean, you know. And the only one really who's
- 54:15Speaker 1: gonna be mad in this whole thing, I think is
- 54:18Speaker 1: the daughter, because like you say, she's only in it
- 54:21Speaker 1: for the money, and if you stop the money, then
- 54:23Speaker 1: she probably will be mad. So in this case, I
- 54:27Speaker 1: think it's okay. I think you need to be honest,
- 54:29Speaker 1: open and honest with the daughter. You said you haven't
- 54:33Speaker 1: slept with the daughter. You you guys have had lip service,
- 54:35Speaker 1: met up for lip service. So I'm assuming you've kissed
- 54:38Speaker 1: the daughter and that's all. So that should make it
- 54:42Speaker 1: a little easier because you guys haven't gone all the way.
- 54:44Speaker 1: I say. In this particular case, life is short. I
- 54:49Speaker 1: think this situation is different because you guys are the
- 54:52Speaker 1: same age. You're very compatible, as you say, you have
- 54:55Speaker 1: a lot in common, you enjoy each other's company, you're
- 54:58Speaker 1: compatible in the bedroom. You do want to keep seeing her.
- 55:02Speaker 1: But then here's the greedy part. When you say you
- 55:04Speaker 1: don't want to mess it up, mess up what you
- 55:07Speaker 1: have with the daughter. What do you have with the daughter?
- 55:09Speaker 1: You're the daughter, sugar daddy, all right, you're the daughter,
- 55:12Speaker 1: sugar daddy. That's what you are. You didn't say how
- 55:15Speaker 1: old you are, but the daughter's thirty, so I'm assuming
- 55:17Speaker 1: you're in your fifties or sixties here. So, um, you know,
- 55:20Speaker 1: if you're gonna be open and honest and not greedy,
- 55:23Speaker 1: this situation can work. If the mama grees to it.
- 55:26Speaker 1: If not, you think you can have your cake and
- 55:28Speaker 1: eat it too, it's not gonna work and it's gonna
- 55:29Speaker 1: backfire and you won't have either of them. Steve, good answer, man,
- 55:37Speaker 1: This is a tough one. Dude. Let me just start
- 55:41Speaker 1: at this. I think I'm playing with five. Well, what
- 55:45Speaker 1: the heir you think it for? Because your ass? No, no, no,
- 55:50Speaker 1: I think you grown man. You're oldest single man. I'm
- 55:57Speaker 1: very nice looking, not your typical old cornball type. Okay,
- 56:02Speaker 1: now you know, ask an opinion. That's just an opinion,
- 56:07Speaker 1: you know, And ain't nothing in this letter after you
- 56:10Speaker 1: said you was nice looking, they ain't come up no more.
- 56:16Speaker 1: The dog ain't said, oh my god, he find the
- 56:18Speaker 1: MoMA ain't saying, oh my god, you find it. Ain't
- 56:21Speaker 1: come up no more. Dog. Well, but you know, I
- 56:25Speaker 1: don't like me and telling about how nice they look.
- 56:27Speaker 1: I just don't like that. You know, I'm a good
- 56:30Speaker 1: strong man. I'm a good strong but you're gonna be
- 56:32Speaker 1: that I'm talking I'm nice looking, about to give a damn.
- 56:37Speaker 1: I don't like dudes like that. And then you know
- 56:40Speaker 1: dating is hard for me because most women my age
- 56:43Speaker 1: had let himself go and look matronly. What is that?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Like a like a nug well, yeah, like an older woman.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Maybe you know what is matron put on a couple
- 56:55Speaker 1: of pounds? But what do matronly mean? Somebody not sexy? Okay,
- 57:00Speaker 1: somebody give me the definition of webster definition of matronly
- 57:04Speaker 1: so I can get into this. What I need? You know,
- 57:07Speaker 1: like your mother, not your girlfriend. I love online dating sites.
- 57:11Speaker 1: I've had great time meeting hooking up with various women.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Then the thirty year old bombshell sent you a message
- 57:17Speaker 1: that says she was looking for a little financial help
- 57:20Speaker 1: in exchange for some confidential fund. What okay, I'm the man, wait,
- 57:26Speaker 1: Steve Matrially and confidential fund. The definition of matronly said
- 57:33Speaker 1: having the attributes of a matron. See. And what the
- 57:39Speaker 1: teacher told me in school was you can't define a
- 57:42Speaker 1: word with the word exactly exactly. But now you dating
- 57:47Speaker 1: the older women to look matrily. And now you've met
- 57:49Speaker 1: this young girl. She want to do some financial help
- 57:52Speaker 1: in exchange for some confidential fund. So we'd have met
- 57:57Speaker 1: up for lip service a few times. And that's it.
- 57:59Speaker 1: So y'all kissing, y'all kissing. Now we ain't never going
- 58:05Speaker 1: all the way. I give an extra money for bills
- 58:07Speaker 1: to get a hand and nails done, and she is happy.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Fuck kissing. You're paying bills for kissing. I'm all right,
- 58:18Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on, don't Why are you bad
- 58:21Speaker 1: at him? Were paying bills for kissing? All right? Look,
- 58:26Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now. We'll have part two of
- 58:29Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up at twenty three after the hour,
- 58:32Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, Come on,
- 58:38Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject. I think I'm playing
- 58:41Speaker 1: with fire. All right, we're back. We're playing with five. Now.
- 58:45Speaker 1: That's what this letter is because I have a couple
- 58:47Speaker 1: of clarifications I got on the break now. It is
- 58:52Speaker 1: nice looking man who just nice looking, just to his
- 58:55Speaker 1: damn self, didn't met this woman online. That's a thirty
- 59:00Speaker 1: year old bombshell. They didn't got to talk. And now
- 59:03Speaker 1: what he normally meet women his own age who are matronly. Now. Matronly,
- 59:10Speaker 1: according to the Dictionary, is relating to all characteristics of
- 59:16Speaker 1: a state or conservative, conservatively dressed, older married woman, especially
- 59:24Speaker 1: one with a somewhat heavy build. Ye, she looks matronly
- 59:31Speaker 1: in a putty colored tweet two piece. Okay, that's no,
- 59:36Speaker 1: that's the definition of matron. Let me give you another
- 59:38Speaker 1: one too, Steve a female animal kept for breeding. WHOA, Okay,
- 59:44Speaker 1: that's it's a little too harsh. Should well should we
- 59:48Speaker 1: don't want that? Did we just doing joke? Crack? Well? Uh?
- 59:55Speaker 1: I hooked up with very when recently she met this
- 59:57Speaker 1: thirty ye old bombshell sent me up message says she
- 59:59Speaker 1: was looking for a little financial help in exchange for
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: some confidential fund. So we've met up for lip service
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: a few times, and that's it. We've never gone all
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: the way. Now. I was thinking lip service is just
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: kissing me too. Well, on the break, I've been enlightened.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Lip service it's something else. Oh, it's when the two
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: people provide pleasure with their lips. And so they met
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: up for lip service. This is more than kissing. Now,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: they're providing pleasure for one another with their lips. That's
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: what disease. Oh that changes. But she said, and he
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: said it just a few times, and that's it. We've
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: never gone all the way. I give a little extra
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: money for bill. Now understand the bill paying now. Yeah,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: at first, as I thought, y'all just kissing you can't
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: get bill money for kissing. But for that, oh yeah,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: you get a car. You getting car caught up? Groceries
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: groceries here what you need your shoance policy? Laughs, But
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: we get that right back for you. Wow, Rick, I
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: got you kids in school closed. Yeah, okay, So now anyway,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: well anyway, but here's the problem. She asked me to
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: do her big favor, and I agree to do it.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: She told me that her mom is single, gorgeous and
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: a lot of fun, but she has troubled meeting good men.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: So she asked me to escort her mom to a
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: gala ask her date. She told me, told her mama
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: that I'm her co worker's dad, and she showed her
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: a picture of me. She showed me a picture your
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: mom too. I took a mom to the gala. We
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: had a good time talking. They would live service and
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: they were just talking, laughing down ha ha and dancing
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: and they the same age and they got a lot
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: in common. Where After the gala was over, she invited
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: me in for a nightcap. They're drinking. Now y'all been
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: drinking wine all night? What the nightcap fall to cap
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: off the night? So now y'all in there capping off nights,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: and one thing led to another. This is my favorite party.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Strawbay letters high. They always say, so one thing led
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: to another. I ended up spending night with them. So
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: now you have slept with the mama. Now I must
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: say that we're compatible. We're compatible in the bedroom too.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I think I want to keep seeing this woman, but
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: I don't want to mess up what I have with
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: her daughter, because they can give me two very different
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: and pleasurable experiences. Boy, look at him. Besides, the daughter
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: is only in it for money. What do you think?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Can I get away with it? Or I play with fire?
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Please help me? Well do now that we understand what's
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: really going on, you having one type of sex with
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: the daughter and you're having all the way sex with
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: the mama. The daughter just in it for money, but
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: you happen to think that the mama is fly. She
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: You may could have found someone, But the problem here
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: is Dog, you ain't found nothing, because see, Dog, you
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: really an old player and you like playing. Because even
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: in your letter you said I have a great time
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: meeting and hooking up with various women online. So now
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: you got these two women here. One of them does
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: something for you physically and don't go all the way
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: and the other one go all the way. But you
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: liked the mama, but you don't want to mess up
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: what you have with the daughter because she just in
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: it for money. Well here's what I couldn't tell you.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Stay with the mama calls them the mama is cheaper. Wow,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: that's why. And the mama broken all the way off
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: for free. It's a little wine. See, ain't no need
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: to you, dog, Let me explain something. It's well, I'm
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: just on real. You cannot make this work. Tall it
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: cannot work. But because dog, it can't work, Tommy, let
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: me come back and tell you why I can't work.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I got something to ask if you manack all right? Uh,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: you gotta post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter on
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Instagram and Facebook at Steve Harvey FM, and please check
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: at forty six after the hour. Steve's got a little
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: more on the Strawberry Letter. Uh that he's going to
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: impart to us subject I think I'm playing with fire.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: We'll be right back at forty six after the hour.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Morning Show all right, Steve,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: you wanted to finish the Strawberry letters subject. I think
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: I'm playing with fire about this older guy. This man
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: loves online dating. He's an old player. He got this
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: girl he met online. Thirty year old Bombshell said they
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: can have some confidential fun. He didn't got together with
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: the girl and they provide each other with lip service,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: mean that they having different sex. And so then she
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: asked him, and he'd been giving her money and stuff
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: for it. It's been going real well. Then she asked
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: him to do her a favor, take her mama to
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: a gala. He showed him a picture of the mama.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: She liked the mama. Showed the mama picture her said
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: this one of her co workers Daddy's she know you all,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: and so you said, yeah, met the mama. She fine,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: y'all went out, had a good time, got to drink,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: and she invites you in for a drink. You end
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: up spending the night with the mama, and you enjoy
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: the mama. You really liked the mama. Y'all compatible in bed,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: and y'all got a lot in common. You're laughing and stuff.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Now you're trying to figure out because you've been breaking
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: off this money to this young girl who's providing you
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: with this lip service, and you're providing her with lip service. Y'all,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: just don't go all the way that. Now you want
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: to know if you can make both of them work. Dog,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: this ain't gonna work. Women always know they know. Dog,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: they gonna find out. Now, what's your question time? If
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: I'm the dude, I didn't invest it way too much
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: in this first girl. I got stock in there night.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: You know see what I'm saying. I got to get
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: broke off or I leave at least it's too I
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: just I spent too much money. I spent way too
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: much money. Man. Yeah, we this this whole, this halfway
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: thing we do. We got to finish this off for
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: I get over here to mom. WHOA don't you think whoa?
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: I almost said when he said he wanted to ask
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: the question. See, this is why I won't work, because
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: men have a stupid logic when it comes to the
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: way they think about set this. Some dumb ass logic.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Did not just tell you that they gonna find out
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: invested Why y'all always looking at each other like that? Out?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: All you can do. The only chance you got is
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: to tell how you really met the daughter. But that's
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: if you wanted to keep the mama. Your problem. Ain't
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: you trying to keep the mama. Your problem is you
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: trying to keep them both. And if you try to
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: keep them both, it's gonna end miserably for you. But
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: if you just try to keep the mama, you'd have
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: to give up something, and you ain't willing to do
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: that because you enjoy online Daton. You said that, and
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: you don't want to have nobody. You ain't looking for nobody.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: You enjoy online daton. You meet various women's so dog,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: that's what you are, So just tell them that's what
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: you are, and going about your business. Because you try
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: to keep both of them, you're gonna get busted and
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: they're gonna probably kill you. You're listening to show. It's
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: time now for ask the c l O Chief Love Officer, Steve. Right,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: all right, right, this one's from Diana and Phoenix. She's
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: an online listener Steve. She says, I'm a forty five
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: year old divorced woman and sexually my ex husband and
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: I are soul mates. Since my divorce, I can't find
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: anyone to measure up to him. I've been told that
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I am exceptional in the bedroom, but I can't find
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: anyone to match my stamina. The men want to treat
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: me like I'm a delicate flower, but all I want
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: is for my legs to tingle and go numb while
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: we're in the bedroom. Should I start telling the men
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: up front what I expect. I don't want to come
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: off as too pushy. Well see, you might not be
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: too pushy, but you probably too much though for that
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: team just sounds to me like a lie. He scares
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: your little bit, Steve, See you you don't ain't nobody
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: can't do nothing with you? What are you? Ain't that
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: doing that? I'm saying, this is as much as I
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: could do with us. Just call it square right here.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I'm good. See you all up in there. Yeah, you know,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: you up in there doing things that ain't doable, you know.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: And so you know, maybe it's you. Maybe you just
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: a lot now you and your ex husband. You know,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: maybe you'll to get back with him, and you know,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: maybe maybe that was your soul mate. I don't know
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: what happened. Maybe, but maybe why y'all ain't together no more?
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Maybe you was too much for him? Wow, Maybe you
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: need to bag down a little bit, give somebody chance.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Everybody can't win like you want to compare. I want
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: my legs tingling. Well, hey, you get some icy hot
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I don't know what tell you to have me all
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: up in here all right. This one's from Margot in Tallahassee, Florida.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: She says, I'm a fifty seven year old woman and
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: I was dating a seventy four year old man and
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: I found out he's cheating on me. He lives with
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: its daughter, and my two grown sons lived with me,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: so we spend weekends at different hotels and it's a
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: fun getaway. He has been m ia the past three
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: weeks because he's been helping to get his church reopened.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Last Monday, his daughter called to ask me if he
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: was with me because he hadn't been home in a
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: few days. He had texted me I love you that morning,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: but I haven't seen him. I called up to the
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: church and they said he hadn't been up there in
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: a while. He's been lying to me, and my intuition
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: says he's cheating. I thought I was safe by dating
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: an older man. Do old man cheat too? Well? I mean, look,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: he ain't got much left he sent me for. I mean,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: he probably paid it much, just trying to get it
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: all in. Maybe he had a sheltered childhood. I don't know.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Maybe he trying to get it all in. I don't
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: know why UK find his old old ass. But is
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: he worth it? Though? Let him? He's seventy four? How
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: much more fun you think this fit to be? Man?
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: So just let him have it? And what no? I mean,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: what you're tripping for? You? Fifty seven? You young girl?
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Compared to him, it's almost a twenty aged twenty a
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: year from fifty to seventy. Who's jump? So I wouldn't
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: worry about it. All right, we'll see if we can
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: get this one in. He ain't even up at the church.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: He said he was going up there to reopen the church.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: He ain't even up there. And what church number you
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: got where you can call and see if somebody up?
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Obviously this ain't no church. This is Stow Front. Yeah,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: it's hurled up there sweeping because he can't call down
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: the Pottle's house and find out if he Yeah, this
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: a little bit of church. So you think he's cheating, cheating? He'
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: he mother to church? How long it take to open
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: a stove front ten minutes, opener, do pull out the
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: fold away chairs and left go the usher board is
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: the choir? All right? You're listening to show well, guys.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Scientists are working to control a non hormonal birth control
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: pill for men. All right, for men now, and it
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: has been proven successful in lab trials on mice. The
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: drug was effective at presenting pregnancy and mice and has
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: no apparent side effects. According to the research presented at
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: the annual meeting of the American Chemical Society, after a
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: year of testing with human males, the drug could soon
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: be the first effective form of both birth control from
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: men besides condoms or getting of a back to me. So, guys,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: here's the question, what would you take the pills? Already?
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I'm not saying I wouldn't take the pill and nothing,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: But so far all these tests have been done on mice.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: There's nothing similar about me and a mouse and nothing
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: a reproductive glances the size of a mouse. So you
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: wouldn't take the pillet to know? For you? Well, I'm
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: just saying I don't know what they didn't put in
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: this mice, but I'm gonna need probably four hundred times
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: to doc. If they make it, if they make it
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: taste like chicken, I'm in alright, chicken jay a chicken field.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: We are at the age where it don't matter. I
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: don't even I can take it, not make babies. All right.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour you're listening
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: to show. It is time now for a round of
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: would you rather would you rather wash windows on a skyscraper? Be?
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Or would you rather run with the bulls in Spain?
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Still be? B Yeah, I'm gonna give the bulls. I'm
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna get it. I'm gonna get off. I
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: gonna get over a wall or something. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: push some people in front of me. I can get
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: I can get this bull off my ass, trip some
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: people off Trippe show can be. Oh no, I've seen that.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Ain't no where in the hall, and it's no where
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: in hell. First of all, I'm not gonna be able
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: to wash your window. You up there already. Both my
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: hands is attached to this rope and this safety device,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: so we're not watching where I'm not watching you win
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: to no damn and I can look outside. All you
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: gonna see is it's scared ass. Dude. I'm kicking. I
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: won't end. I won't end. Man, open the way. I'm
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: a pe on your window. I'm telling you that's all
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: we got. We got some other stuff. What is it?
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: All these stands on my window? You know what? Open
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: this window? Hanging up in that album? Man, Yeah, I'm
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: running with the bulls man. I'm you can put me
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: in all red pajama sitting make sure they see me.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I'm loving the damn bulls man. All right, here we go.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Would you rather have a full time butler for life
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: or one hall pass a month for life? I already
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: know I ain't gonna get that. Gonna have to hate
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: this butler. That's what I'm to do for life, not
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: for the confessor. Won'ting the hall pass? Get me on
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: this radio show with Dad? Have you learned nothing on
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: the show, Junior? Yeah, learned that I'm gonna go with
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: the blood. You're gonna have a full time butler for life? Okay,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: pass up the hall pass. You let me ask question though,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Do she know about the hall pass? Huh? We know
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: about the hall pass. That's the whole concept of the
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: hall pass that you get the mad thank you. Oh no, no,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: I'm not not no, hell no, hell no, I'm not
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: gonna hear that. Every moore it's gonna it's got that's
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: who it's gonna. Yeah, it's the fifteenth who you're picking
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: now her? All right, here's the last one, last one?
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Would you guys rather tell the truth for thirty days?
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Tell the complete truth? No, live thirty days, wear a
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: lafe front wig for thirty days to call me Kiera
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: in here looking like ru Paul front. All right, coming
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: up next to our last break of the day, and
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Steve will have some closing remarks. All that's coming up
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: at forty nine after the hour. Right after this you're
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: listening to show. All right, here we go, last break
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: of the day and Steve, Yeah, this is a time
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: you get kind of quiet and in your pensive moment
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: because it's almost time for your closing remarks. But it's
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: been a good day, rights, it's good Thursday. Uh, it's
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: been a funny, it's good. You know these closing remarks
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: of late man, I just want to kind of explain
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: it to everybody. What I've decided to do is, uh,
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: just share with you some experiences that I've gained, uh
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: and and a lot of it has to do with
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: spiritual reality. Now let me let me just start by
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: saying this. I'm not a very religious person per se.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: I think I'm really a spiritual person, but religious it
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: kind of comes with a different connotation. I don't claim
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: to be perfect. It doesn't matter to me what church
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: you go to, what mosque you go to, what synagogue
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: you go to. It doesn't matter to me. It's not
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: my business. And I've chosen to be that way, and
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I think that God is okay with me being that way,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: because my message is to try to convince or to
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: help people understand that having a relationship with God is
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: really cool. It's the relationship you want with God. Your
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: choice of religion is none of my business. I have
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: a lot of Muslim friends. I know some great Muslim
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: people around the world. I know some great Christian people
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: around the world. I know great Catholics around the world.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: I know great Jewish people, Protestant whatever. I know some
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: really really cool people. And I just decided that my
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: mission is not to convince you to see it my way.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: My mission is to try to help you understand that
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: having a relationship with God. It's critical for you, it's
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: necessary for you. You know. I posted something the other
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: day on my Instagram and there was a picture of
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: a warrior with his head bent and he was on
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: his knee and he had a sword in his hand
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: and a shield. And on this Instagram post I posted it,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: and if you go on my Instagram you can see
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: it from yesterday and this man is on his knees
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: with his head bowed, with his soul in his hand
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: and armor and shield on. And he said, the devil
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: saw me with my head down and thought he'd won
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: until I said, a man, So what the pain was
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: saying is my head ain't down. I'm actually praying. And
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: so after I sent that, you know, I was just
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: reading the comments, which I which I know better. But
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: the second comment and the caption under it was prayer works.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: The second comment under their third comment was no, it don't.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: And you just go, wow, wait a minute, man, It
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: don't matter what you say. Some people gonna just they
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: just dad to counter. But I don't do it for
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: those people anymore. I do it for those people who
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: trying to get it. And if you're trying to get
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: a relationship with God, it's important for you to understand something.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: You know what you gotta understand something. Let me sprain
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: to you what I learned about favor because my life
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: has a lot of favor on it, but I know
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: a lot of people who got favor on their life.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: Somebody told me one time, favor ain't fair. Favor is
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: not fair. If favor was fairly giving out, if it
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: was favor was giving out family, none of us would
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: get it. Oh, favor ain't fair because if favor was
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: given out to the just or the righteous, if that's
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: how fair was passed out, would none of us get it.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: Favor ain't fair. That's why you can look over at
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: somebody's life and you can judge them and say, well,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: they ain't all this, but they got this. That's because
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: favor ain't fair. But let me show you what what
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: favor do. Do you know how much favor gods give
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: to you? To show you that favor ain't fair? Watch
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: this hill. Have you ever woke up in the morning
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: and didn't thank God for waking you up in the morning,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: but he woke you up anyway? That was favor. Let
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: me ask you a question, because I hardly ever do
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: this when I lay down a night, I have never
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: I don't recall asking God to wake me up in
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: the morning. But you know what he did for sixty
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: two years, he didn't woke me up in the morning.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: You know what that was. That was some favor. Favor
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: ain't fail because guess what, I ain't even asked to
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: be awaken. I have left the house without thinking him
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: for waking me up. But he keep waking me up,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: and he keep laying me down to sleep, and he
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: keep giving me another chance, and he keeps me alive
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: when it seems like I should have been gone. He
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: holds me when I feel so alone. He corrects mistakes
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: that I've made, on decisions I've made. He's correcting him
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: from me. You know what that was, y'all? That was favor.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: Every time you take a breath that you have no
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: control over, can I tell you something that's favor? That's
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: why you you hear old people talk about grace and
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: favor that and all people say, all I want is
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: a little more grace, because great, you can't earn grace,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: you can't earn favor. It's just given. Favor is given
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: to the just, Favor is given to the unjust favor
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: is given to the grateful. Favor is given to people
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: that don't ever say thank you. All of us have
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: benefited from his favor. What do you think would happen
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: if you formed a closer relationship with him? Well, tomorrow,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: I tell you what a happened, because it happened to me.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: I just want to share that with you. Y'all, have
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: a great weekend. Talk to God. He loved to hear
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: from you. Okay, that's a good one. I talk to you.
