- 0:02Last time on no latency B required like AB level pass.
- 0:08Well, I have an A level pass. That's not good.
- 0:10Are those body bags we may need to go underwater?
- 0:14We're already underwater. What are you talking about?
- 0:16I'm not too good at computers. You take a look at that.
- 0:18If you kill Vendel, I'll kill you.
- 0:20Oh shit. Are we sure they're dead bodies?
- 0:22Well, that's gross. What are they?
- 0:24Doing to these people. There is a body in.
- 0:26There. I've never seen something like
- 0:28this before in all of my medical expertise.
- 0:31I'm going to go over to that vent.
- 0:32Are you sure that's really such a good idea?
- 0:35Another one. What's the alternative?
- 0:37You're saying you're getting there with that?
- 0:38Let's try this again. Harvesting, yeah.
- 0:41Harvesting what? Everything had been drained from
- 0:43their body. Anyway, so should we pop out?
- 0:46Bendel, can you do the computer? And I'll sniff the dead body.
- 1:00OK, OK, Jeff, hang up, hang up, hang up.
- 1:04OK, so I'm going to check the computer.
- 1:06You check the body, but also there is a drone in there, but
- 1:10like, it hasn't seen us yet. Which one of us is more
- 1:13stealthy? I mean, I'd say it's me, but,
- 1:17you know, I don't want to like, you know, give an inflated ego
- 1:20or nothing, you know? Jeff, I'd also say it was it was
- 1:23you. I don't want to do it.
- 1:25Oh, don't want. No, I was trying to be nice.
- 1:28Oh. Oh yeah, let me take care of
- 1:30that for you. You've been in this vent for a
- 1:32minute. It's a little.
- 1:34Stuck. It's been really getting to my
- 1:36chest. Can you hear it?
- 1:37Not really to be honest, but but you know, I believe you.
- 1:42So there's like. Well, thanks.
- 1:43Thanks for yes. Sending that to help for
- 1:44immersion. We'll move on.
- 1:47Yeah, let me just figure out where my shit is.
- 1:51OK? All right.
- 1:52So what are you going to do, Jeb?
- 1:53Well, I'm thinking, I'm just going to, OK, here's what you're
- 1:56going to do. You're going to open up the
- 1:57little vent at the end of this over, do you?
- 2:00Want me to push the because there's a crate in.
- 2:02Front of it. Thank you.
- 2:03That's the word. No, no there There is a grate,
- 2:05but there's also a crate with AC.
- 2:07Oh, a grate and a crate. Yes, the double C's.
- 2:10So you're going, you're going to, you're going to lift up,
- 2:13lift open the Gray that I'm going to kind of like sleep
- 2:17around and then kind of do like a somersault back onto the
- 2:20ground. And then I'm going to run over
- 2:22and I'm going to shoot this. What do we call drone drones?
- 2:27Yeah, the cleaning drones. Yeah, the cleaning drones.
- 2:29I'm going to shoot this drone point blank with my shotgun.
- 2:33Aero Electric shotgun, if you remember.
- 2:35Oh, that does like electric damage, right?
- 2:37It sure as hell does. That's probably good for like,
- 2:42drones and stuff. I had a mansion.
- 2:44Why didn't you use that on the drone clouds earlier?
- 2:47Well, because I just happened to remember that I had.
- 2:50OK, all right, so I'll roll Athletics Or should I roll
- 2:54Stealth? Well, I think I'm going to roll
- 2:56stealth pants for sure. OK, I'm going to be surprised
- 3:00because I don't know what I'm going to roll.
- 3:01All right. Ready 3 Yes. 2.
- 3:03Yes, one, yes. Go.
- 3:05OK, one. It's 22 from ready.
- 3:08I rolled A-15 on Athletics. I got the grate open perfectly.
- 3:12You watch the crate in front of you push forward as the top of
- 3:16the grate pushes it further into the room.
- 3:20You also push it slightly and move into the space.
- 3:24There's a drone trying to clean some dried blood off the floor
- 3:29in the northern area. All right, so let's go take out
- 3:33my payroll electric shotgun from my bag, you realize, and then
- 3:37realize I'm not quite as far as I want to be before racking the
- 3:42shotgun and then blasting. You sneak up behind it with your
- 3:4522 stealth and you lost it. All right.
- 3:50Ain't bad. I mean, it's bad, but it ain't
- 3:52bad. You say as the electricity
- 3:55fizzles around this drone in front of you, it turns around,
- 3:59only taking 11 damage. It is below half health.
- 4:02OK, so it's central core gets but you are standing right next
- 4:07to it, so it attempts to attack you.
- 4:11You. See that being deal?
- 4:13Give a nice big old blast. Oh no shit.
- 4:15Still left. And it attacks you with its
- 4:16talent. Foot rolling the crypt fail
- 4:19because again, you critically injured it and missing you
- 4:22entirely, which gives you another opportunity to finish it
- 4:25off. Oh, good, because here it comes.
- 4:2914 damage. A bunch of pieces of it split in
- 4:32half and it digs into the locker behind it.
- 4:34The locker dents heavily and then starts to smoulder as it
- 4:39gets covered in electricity. You see this drone jostle at the
- 4:43bottom of this area and then full lifeless.
- 4:49All right. Is it dead?
- 4:50That wasn't that bad. I I hid in the in the vent in
- 4:53case it started to hurt you. Oh, no, no.
- 4:56I took care of you. Don't worry.
- 4:57Don't you worry. Yeah.
- 4:59Come on now. Let's take a look at this Sling
- 5:01and Mother Sling. I mean this dead man.
- 5:03Right, I'm. Going to sniff.
- 5:05Jeb, roll perception, Jeb, As you come round to the other side
- 5:11of the body, his back was turned to the grate.
- 5:15You see that he doesn't have the same brain injury as the rest of
- 5:19them. This human was shot in the head
- 5:23and in his right hand is a pistol.
- 5:26Now if you take a look here, Van Dale, you notice that this one
- 5:30here didn't have one of them things busted out of its head.
- 5:34This one had his head busted out.
- 5:37By a gun. You still don't know if that's
- 5:39true yet, but OK, a gun. That's right.
- 5:42He was shot. I do say so myself Now.
- 5:45I'm no doctor or nothing, but I've seen the I've seen the head
- 5:48wound. I've given a few head wounds
- 5:51just like this. OK.
- 5:55You look at the desk, scratched on the surface are the words.
- 5:59Forgive me, I. Was kind of saying.
- 6:01What do you think he did? Maybe we should check the
- 6:03computer. Oh yeah, I don't do computer
- 6:06stuff. So that's all you, buddy.
- 6:08OK, then Dell turns the computer around like they were told to by
- 6:11Iona, which keeps them away from the blood of the body, and they
- 6:15tap away at the computer to see what they can find.
- 6:18Roll for it. Oh, do you know that song too?
- 6:27Yeah, the Sandman song. I like this.
- 6:32After humming along with Jeb for just a little moment, Pendel
- 6:35finds a file, the last one that was opened by checking last
- 6:39modified inside of the file structure.
- 6:41And there at the top is a list of names, 72,000 names.
- 6:47Who? There's a lot of names.
- 6:48What? What?
- 6:49What do you think these names are?
- 6:51That is a lot of names. And then there's more below, but
- 6:53they don't have names allocated. I'll be honest, I'm not sure
- 6:57what's what's going on here. Bendel opens a drawer in the
- 7:01desk and finds an audio file. Oh, it's one of those chips,
- 7:05Jeb. Give me a tile.
- 7:06Yeah, here. Bendel taps away at the tile.
- 7:10Oh, it's encrypted. What?
- 7:11Was that like? Should we call, should we call
- 7:14retro and? I might, yeah, give give it a
- 7:16go. We'll see if we can get get some
- 7:18tech support over the phone here.
- 7:19OK, Retro. Iona.
- 7:24Hello. Yes.
- 7:25Did you find something? I did find something.
- 7:28I found an audio file. I think the man in the security
- 7:33office here shot himself. What did he do?
- 7:37Well, he scratched. Forgive me into a table, didn't
- 7:40you, Jack? He did that.
- 7:41He did. And then he was sitting in front
- 7:43of the list of 72,000 names. Maybe.
- 7:46Maybe more. Even more.
- 7:47Oh. That's a lot of names.
- 7:49Well, did you say he shot himself?
- 7:51Oh, he's holding a gun. Yeah, there's no human in here.
- 7:55Actually now, yeah. I thought that's what you were
- 7:57implying, Jeb, earlier when you were saying all that stuff you
- 7:59know about guns. Oh wow.
- 8:01I was just saying he got shot and then really put two and two
- 8:03together about the fact that he shot himself with.
- 8:06OK. Clear guy.
- 8:08All right, well, we we found an audio file, but it's encrypted.
- 8:11It says big secret on it. Oh, big.
- 8:13Secret. Well.
- 8:14That's how you know. Red.
- 8:15Red, Do you want to help them with this or should we let
- 8:19Fandel do it on their own? I.
- 8:22Mean if if I need to play the support hotline, I will then now
- 8:27do you want to try to give it a try without me holding your ear?
- 8:30Well, I've rolled high enough on Streetwise to get a data
- 8:33connection between us there. You go.
- 8:35I think you should. Help them out.
- 8:38Thanks, Stevie. OK, hold on.
- 8:42Is it really cold there as well? Because it's really cold down
- 8:45here it. Is free free cold?
- 8:48Retro has to reach into their backpack and they pull out him
- 8:52set of headphones with a little mic on it and put it on the TV.
- 8:55Oh. That's cute.
- 8:57I like that. Rominga Support Services How can
- 8:59I help you today? Hi I've got an audio file that I
- 9:04need to send to you for decryption please.
- 9:07Have you tried turning it on and off again?
- 9:09I tried but I'm worried if I turn Jeb's tile off, it'll never
- 9:12turn on again. That's fair.
- 9:13And you're talking about Jebedi, the Street Racer?
- 9:17Yes, with the hat. Obviously do not turn it off.
- 9:20It is my power of God. It is still working right here.
- 9:25Did have you tried any passwords first?
- 9:27Yes, I tried the one that unlocked everything really
- 9:30creepily earlier. OK.
- 9:32What's how many numbers on there?
- 9:334. Did you try 6969?
- 9:36I did try 6969. Do you think I am an amateur?
- 9:39OK. Did you try reverse 9696?
- 9:42Of course I tried it reversed. I just turned it upside down.
- 9:45OK. Did you try it 6996?
- 9:47Yes, I tried all of the 699-9699.
- 9:51What about what about four 2069? That's too many digits.
- 9:55That's only 4340. That's a good one.
- 9:58I'm driving now. All zeros.
- 10:00No, I mean at this give. Out the password in my luggage.
- 10:03Come on. That's the stupidest combination
- 10:07I've ever heard. That's.
- 10:10Why nobody tries? OK.
- 10:13That's actually fairly logical. One second, please, And then I'm
- 10:16going to put him on hold for a few seconds.
- 10:18OK. Bum bum bum bum bum.
- 10:23Bum. Bum bum bum.
- 10:26Bum. Bum.
- 10:28Bum. Bum.
- 10:29Bum. Bum bum bum.
- 10:30Bum. OK, I'm back.
- 10:32I just sent Jeb a decrypting worm, so maybe that will help
- 10:39out OK. Is it is the is the green
- 10:45supposed to flyer and then like kind of whoa whoa whoa whoa
- 10:54crazy. So animations going on right?
- 10:57Now retro, I I know we're having fun with this, but I'm not sure
- 10:59if Jeb's tile can like, do this. You may have to like, hold on to
- 11:04the phone departed. Yourself.
- 11:05Have like 20 minutes. And and and that's crazy because
- 11:09we've been here like 3. So there.
- 11:14May be a there may be a case of us just sending you the file and
- 11:16and we'll just keep looking in thermal.
- 11:18OK. So send it to Vivi's tile and
- 11:21then we'll we'll go from there. OK, I got it.
- 11:24OK, Vivi, now I'm going to send you the worm's brother.
- 11:30Don't mind the mustache. The worm brother.
- 11:34Should we stay on the phone or should we keep looking?
- 11:38You keep looking, we'll let you know what we find.
- 11:41Jeb, say goodbye. Bye.
- 11:44Bye. So you're sending the brother of
- 11:48the worm? Yeah, he he didn't go to
- 11:51college. He went to vocational school.
- 11:53But he's. A trade school guy?
- 11:54Yeah, solid. Guy.
- 11:56You can tell by the mustache. It looks good.
- 11:59Pulls it off. I really enjoy a mustache.
- 12:02I know his mother always thought he was just going to end up in a
- 12:05bottle by the look how he is now.
- 12:06Oh, Vivi, did you open the worms, brother?
- 12:10I'm doing that now, all right? Yeah.
- 12:15Retro after all of this faffing a full on like lightning bolt
- 12:20flies from one tile to from the agent to the tile.
- 12:24Not damaging either because you rolled so high, but then this
- 12:27place. There is no thermal bent.
- 12:31They're powering this patient. They're powering it's people.
- 12:34It's looking people they're using.
- 12:36People. Like that. 200 at a time.
- 12:43I don't know how I'm going to get out of here, but I need to
- 12:46leave. Wow, OK, they're using the
- 12:55people. Oh, I don't quite understand
- 12:58what that means. OK, they're they're using people
- 13:02like batteries. They're stacking people,
- 13:05stacking 200 at a time. Yeah, in towers like Spires with
- 13:12electric sparks going off in between them, and probably
- 13:16little metal octopuses that jump between them.
- 13:19Well, I mean, that explains the 72,000.
- 13:24Or was it 7200? Seventy 2072. 1000.
- 13:27Oh, that is a lot. Where there it's.
- 13:32So where are the people? Where the thermal vent is, they
- 13:37said that there's no thermal vent.
- 13:39The the quote UN quote thermal vent.
- 13:42Right. So where we think is a thermal
- 13:43vent is actually just people. That's where we sent Jebot, Dyer
- 13:49and Vendel. Meanwhile.
- 13:55I wonder if they'll work anything out about the with that
- 13:58file. You know, normally decryption
- 14:00takes forever unless they get a massive surge of electricity.
- 14:04Vendel opens the door. Oh, we're just opening the door.
- 14:07Oh, all right. Yeah.
- 14:08I'm not. It's.
- 14:09Unlocked it didn't didn't seem locked, yeah.
- 14:13What do we got here? Oh, hold on.
- 14:15What is this bathroom? What is this?
- 14:18Looks like a a locker room. Oh, would you look at that?
- 14:24See that down at the end of the hall?
- 14:25Yes. That looks like a.
- 14:28God. And go with a sniff.
- 14:30OK. You sniff the body.
- 14:34I sure do. And there is a large wound in
- 14:38the side of their head, like something has exploded from
- 14:40within. They're wearing a security
- 14:43uniform. Now Van Dale noticed this one
- 14:46here. Don't got a gun next.
- 14:49But and no bullet wound. Yeah, this this one named the
- 14:53bullet wound. This this one, this one popped
- 14:55out of his head. So not sure what's going on, but
- 14:59this one did not in fact kill himself.
- 15:04Well, moving on, I guess it looks.
- 15:07Like there's some lockers here and do.
- 15:11You think these think these lockers are well, you think
- 15:15they're locked? I try 1.
- 15:17When you go to touch it, it's cold.
- 15:21Very, very cold. Makes sense.
- 15:24This whole place is cold. Colder than the rest of the
- 15:26room. Yeah, because it's metal and you
- 15:29know, metal, it gets cold. Right.
- 15:34That's science. That's right.
- 15:36Oh, there it is. This.
- 15:38There's metal lockers. Real cold.
- 15:41I'm going to open. It you open the locker and
- 15:44inside are a bunch of random personal effects, but it's
- 15:49filled with condensation, cold, cold, condensation.
- 15:54Man, you know, the longer I'm down here, the more that I'm
- 15:57fairly certain that we are going to succumb to the hypothermia.
- 16:01Yeah, can't wait till we find that thermal vent.
- 16:04Yeah. Because that thermal vents are
- 16:06warm. Jeb, that's an important thing
- 16:08about. Well, I mean, thermal vents have
- 16:09to do with with heat, but you know, you could have a thermal
- 16:12vent there and it's cold. Why did you grab that lipstick?
- 16:16I thought it'd be a nice gift. Well, it's used, Jeb.
- 16:20Well, I don't mean you can't use the rest to be reduce reuse
- 16:26again. That's what they say.
- 16:28Reuse it. Anyway, Jeff, I found a
- 16:30computer. Oh, well, you know the drill.
- 16:33I ain't touching. OK.
- 16:36Vendel turns the computer around and does a little bit of tapping
- 16:40on it. Vendel's going to concentrate
- 16:42super hard. OK. 18 You're all 18 on
- 16:48concentration. Vendel taps away at the keyboard
- 16:52and discovers that there is a thing called flush, and
- 16:58apparently it flushes something in this room and it's been used
- 17:021842 times, but the last time it was used it was three months
- 17:07ago. There's a button here that says
- 17:09flush, but Jeff, we haven't found a single plumbed in toilet
- 17:13this entire time. No, It's almost as if this
- 17:17entire facility is 1 big toilet. Oh, Jeb.
- 17:24Oh, tell me I'm wrong. You're wrong.
- 17:26We've only seen one place that that that empties out into the
- 17:31OK, so. Do you actually think, do you
- 17:33actually think this one computer sitting in this room that if I
- 17:35push this button, this whole facility is going to flush like
- 17:38a toilet? I'm saying it's a possibility.
- 17:41I doubt it. What do you want me to try it?
- 17:44Should I just push the button? No, because then we would be
- 17:47inside and we would be then flushed.
- 17:49I'm hovering my finger over the button.
- 17:51Jeb, are you going to stop me with your silly, silly ideas?
- 17:55I I listen, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm the one.
- 17:58You guys keep me around for my ideas and I like to think it's
- 18:01because I think outside. Should I press the button yes or
- 18:03no Jeb? No, it seems like a girl to
- 18:06flush us. When have you ever been against
- 18:08adventure? When?
- 18:09When my life is in peril. From a flush.
- 18:13And the only reason I'm saying don't do it is because there was
- 18:15a big old monster flying at the only the exit to this that I
- 18:20see. No, we've got the elevator.
- 18:22Well, that goes up, but flushing usually goes down.
- 18:25Yeah, but on the map, the thermal, the thermal access was
- 18:28a dead end. We'll have to go back anyway,
- 18:29eventually. OK, but you?
- 18:32OK, hold on. And I run over to the to the
- 18:34nearest locker and I open it and get inside of it and lock myself
- 18:38in and then from inside the locker.
- 18:41All right, Bendale, give it a go.
- 18:44I'm now support and ready for a flush.
- 18:48Fine and. Vendale pushes the button.
- 18:50And Jeb, you hear the weirdest noise because beneath you, a
- 18:54trap door opens and suddenly suction, It's pulling all of the
- 18:57items out of the vent. It's flushing the lockers into
- 19:02the ocean. Hold on for dear life or you're
- 19:05going to die. Oh, Bendale.
- 19:06I think I walk your favorite multiverse hopping
- 19:19game. System jumping high.
- 19:21Production value, Actual play Podcast is back.
- 19:24System Switch Season 2 is out right now.

- 19:34Follow our heroes as they try to break out of prison this.
- 19:38Is clearly a sale. I've seen a sale before.
- 19:40In any universe, this is a sale. Fly through asteroid belts.
- 19:45Break into high security government buildings.
- 19:50Excuse me, I'm from the library police.
- 19:53And punch fascists. That's always very cool.
- 19:57Catch up on all of season one now, or jump straight into
- 20:00Season 2 every Thursday, wherever you get your podcasts.
- 20:04The multiverse is a strange place.
- 20:18Oh, Jeff, don't die. You have to be a 17.
- 20:22You have to roll 17 or above. Do you want to roll?
- 20:24Any luck? I am going to use some luck
- 20:27here. Edit Luck down to zero baby, so
- 20:32add 2 to this. 22 Jeb you stick your legs against either side
- 20:40and press your hands against it in the sort of a spread eagle
- 20:43style it's. Pulling on you.
- 20:45Damn hard. I need you to roll 2D6.
- 20:49The winds are blowing past you. You can hear Vendel in the
- 20:52background banging on the door trying to get it open as the
- 20:56items around you clink past you. You rolled A6 and A2 so loads of
- 21:02the items miss you. One scrapes across your cheek
- 21:04and causes you 2 HP damage. The.
- 21:09Lifting. It flicks all the way down and
- 21:13scrapes a line through the tube and you hear the tube close in
- 21:17distance but there's still pressure pulling and it pulls
- 21:21against you and it pulls and the door underneath you shuts and
- 21:24the door swings open as Vendel pulls back and you both land on
- 21:28the ground. Your shoelace was caught in the
- 21:31little door and has unravelled your right shoe.
- 21:34Oh. No, you fall into this area on
- 21:39top of Vendel, breathing heavily for your life.
- 21:43What the fuck, Jeb? Oh.
- 21:44OK. If.
- 21:46Flash is the that. Flash is the lockers.
- 21:48That's oh, God, you tell me. Jeb, come here.
- 21:52I mean that. Gives you a huge hug.
- 21:54You you haven't felt a hug like this in a minute.
- 21:56It is incredibly close. God, Jeb, I was kidding.
- 21:59I love you so much. Please don't go anywhere, yes.
- 22:05Can you can you tie my shoe? You don't have any shoelaces
- 22:10left. We'll have to find some, and we
- 22:12would search these lockers, but obviously they're all empty now.
- 22:15No, I don't. I'm I don't quite like those
- 22:18lockers. No, didn't sound like you had a
- 22:20very good time. All right, Chad, I think.
- 22:23I think this room is dangerous enough.
- 22:26You don't say. Should we move on?
- 22:29Bad love though. All right, I'm, I'm going to go
- 22:31over to this door. I'm just going to give it a shot
- 22:344774 when? The door opens.
- 22:38Oh wow. Now that one on the first try,
- 22:39huh? Yeah, you know.
- 22:41Oh, was he one of those things where they got the same, the
- 22:43same code on every door? Kind of feels like a master key
- 22:46to me. Yeah, it feels like they're not
- 22:48supposed to be doing that, you know, I think, I think, I think,
- 22:51Rachel told me. You're supposed to have
- 22:52different passwords for everything to do.
- 22:55Which I think is. Simply ridiculous.
- 22:57Now I'm starting to understand why.
- 22:59Right. Oh, what do we got here?
- 23:01Oh, it's not a locked door. And the floor, it says.
- 23:04Wait, what's it saying? Hold on, hold on.
- 23:06Let me zoom in Just one moment, it says Wilt.
- 23:11That says wait. Jeb oh.
- 23:14You should probably, probably like wring out the water from
- 23:16your eyebrows a little. Oh.
- 23:18Yeah, I'll tell you though. It should still wet.
- 23:21And and I am cold. I think I am starting to feel my
- 23:26extremities feel numb. Do you?
- 23:29Want to borrow my jacket? You know, I'd love that.
- 23:31I appreciate. I really do appreciate that.
- 23:33I'm going to go ahead and put your dry jacket on and it's
- 23:37going to wring out my my leather duster here.
- 23:40Now I'll tell you the the, the carbon nano weave that's
- 23:45embedded into this leather duster.
- 23:48It makes it very difficult to wring out those nano tubes.
- 23:53Hold on to water, let me tell you.
- 23:55Well. I'm going to try and get this
- 23:56door open, Jeff. Please do.
- 23:59I'm going to sit in the corner and think about my mortality.
- 24:04Meanwhile. Or should we tell them or or
- 24:09that's probably fine. I mean, there's no one here to
- 24:11run the facility. Yeah.
- 24:13I mean, I've just been looking through all these names, seeing
- 24:16if I notice anybody that seems familiar.
- 24:19Just. Can't you do like a control
- 24:21control find? Yeah, yeah.
- 24:24I've been doing it. I can't find it like all I can.
- 24:26All I'm finding is like the the Kakowski times two and what
- 24:30else? There's Joseph Pontiano and Moss
- 24:36and Lawrence Fishbourne and Theodore Logan.
- 24:43I don't know, we we might want to start like finding out
- 24:48exactly what's going on here before, you know, somebody
- 24:51presses the wrong button and. Well, should we continue
- 24:56forward? Yes, I think or should we go
- 24:59back down? Well, we got 2 doors here.
- 25:03There's one over here to the left to help, and then there's
- 25:05the other one in front, but that one says disposal and that that
- 25:10doesn't seem like something that I I.
- 25:13Yeah, I'm not keen to go in a disposal.
- 25:18We don't care what's in disposal, so we can just leave
- 25:21it. Let's try the other one.
- 25:23I mean, it's got a pin code. I just I go over there.
- 25:26I type in 4774. Oh gosh.
- 25:29The door opens. Oh, oh.
- 25:33To no one's surprise, it is Several bodies in body bags and
- 25:38a hole into the ocean. Oh, I thought we weren't going
- 25:41in disposal. I had.
- 25:42I had to look. Oh, OK.
- 25:45The Proctor had to make sure everybody was in their seat,
- 25:49yeah. I one second and I I pressed the
- 25:52button on the bracelet that Remy gave me to put the latex gloves
- 25:58on the square, the latex gloves on my hands, and I unzip one of
- 26:02the body bags. Like the other bodies, it is
- 26:05completely emaciated. It has the ports on it for
- 26:08feeding waste and a port for the brain stem.
- 26:11But these bodies are older. They're even dustier.
- 26:14Gross. No.
- 26:15Zip it back up. Well, nothing new to report with
- 26:20these bodies, Doctor, as to be expected.
- 26:23Sorry, I made you come in here. One of the bodies at the edge of
- 26:26the room is teetering over the water's edge.
- 26:32So that's what I'm trying to figure out.
- 26:34Did they throw the bodies in the water?
- 26:36Oh absolutely. And where does does is it just
- 26:41go? Is that just how they get rid of
- 26:42them? I assume so.
- 26:45Beauty. As you step over the water.
- 26:47Not in the water, please. As you step over the water and
- 26:51you do the roll. Evasion.
- 26:54Oh, Oh no. Yeah. 19 + 3 crit nice out of
- 27:02the water. A huge set of crocodile like
- 27:06jaws snaps out, grabs the body and it gets pulled into the
- 27:12water. Oh my God, where lies itself.
- 27:17That answers the question, OK. You are now very wet.
- 27:23VV steps away slowly. They just have like trained
- 27:27crocodiles that come and take the bodies or something.
- 27:30You don't have to train animals if you're feeding them.
- 27:34They will just come to the food. No, I'm all.
- 27:38Covered. I'm all wet.
- 27:42Remy. Did you find anything with the
- 27:45other locked door? Remy.
- 27:47Remy, where are you? I'm.
- 27:51Here I'm in front of the door. Oh OK.
- 27:53I've been looking at this door I I haven't seen a a pin code for
- 27:59it. Did you try 4774?
- 28:01There's a door handle. Yeah, I jiggled the handle a bit
- 28:05and it it, it was loose. I didn't feel like open it just
- 28:08yet. And then I heard y'all yell from
- 28:10in there and prepared myself for anything coming out.
- 28:14And then you just came out. So I was like, OK, cool, No, no
- 28:16heroes today. And yeah, I'm about to go
- 28:19through the door. Oh, if you would like to know,
- 28:22there is like a giant crocodile ish sea creature, yeah.
- 28:26See, I could have just gone without needing to know.
- 28:28That you? Know I wasn't ever planning on
- 28:30going in there, so I could have just like lived and blessed.
- 28:33Yeah. So don't Just don't consider
- 28:35don't going in the water. Retro role perception.
- 28:39Perception is not a skill I'm good at. 12 As you jiggle the
- 28:46door, you notice that there's something in the door like a a
- 28:50card. Jiggle it, jiggle it, jiggle.
- 28:54It as you jiggle it, the door opens and the card falls on the
- 28:57ground. Hey, the rhyme works.
- 29:00My professor Weaving always said to try that.
- 29:03You've stumbled across an R&D pass.
- 29:08Oh, R&D pass, is it a day pass or just like full on?
- 29:13It gives you access to R&D. Oh.
- 29:16That's like that's like I'm in like theme park that.
- 29:19Is a level B pass. Oh, I got Abu Pass.
- 29:24I got AB Pass. Oh, wait a minute.
- 29:28I mean, someone was trying to unlock the door with it.
- 29:32Someone was using the old credit card trick.
- 29:36Let's see. Oh, OK, well there there's a PIN
- 29:39code on this side, so that's good to know.
- 29:42Weird. What the hell is this on the
- 29:45floor? Automated security below this
- 29:49floor. Oh, B required.
- 29:50Oh, I already have the key card. Oh, and then this one says I
- 29:56assume is thermal required? Yes.
- 29:59Who said that I hit 7447? On what?
- 30:10On the pin pad next to the thermal door.
- 30:12So you you just put in your code into thermal access.
- 30:16I put 7447. It gives off an error code we
- 30:21have not yet checked. Tried 4774.
- 30:24OK. Oh, I think I put it in
- 30:26backwards, 4774. And the door unlocks and opens.
- 30:32Now, before we go in here, was there anywhere else that we
- 30:34needed to go? Anywhere else we didn't see?
- 30:37I didn't see a lab. Oh.
- 30:40Oh, we haven't, you mean? We don't need to go in thermal
- 30:42then that's. The B wreck, you mean.
- 30:45All right, so you have a pass now, don't you?
- 30:49All right. So good in the elevator.
- 30:51I do. I got AI got a a Bay pass.
- 30:54I'll swipe it in front of the door.
- 30:56You have to make the boop boop sound though.
- 31:01Poop. Poop.
- 31:02Poop, poop, Poop there. You go.
- 31:04And you all take the elevator down to level B.
- 31:08You know what? Just to be honest, between the
- 31:10the three of us, this is really starting to feel like we're
- 31:15we're circling the drain. Meanwhile, Vendel and Jeb are
- 31:20standing in front of a door. Vendel should roll something to
- 31:23get this door open. They've been doing it for a
- 31:25while. So the DV is much lower because
- 31:27if you do a task over a long period of time it is easier.
- 31:31You think? About.
- 31:33Concentration. Oh my God.
- 31:38It's. I feel like I feel like Vendel
- 31:42rolls more critical fails than the average person.
- 31:45And that's OK. That's fine in the process of
- 31:49getting this open, because the DV for this door over a long
- 31:51period of time was 10. They do electrocute themselves
- 31:55on the panel, but they do oh. Fudge, I was wet from touching
- 32:03you Shit. Ow.
- 32:05Oh, Yikes. Wow.
- 32:07There's a lot of electricity in that.
- 32:09Holy shit. It's like there's a lot of
- 32:12electricity here, Jeff. Oh, is that right?
- 32:15Yeah, I mean, that's what the thermal thing is.
- 32:17It's meant to be like a thermal generator.
- 32:20Like thermal vans, like they're capturing, yeah.
- 32:23Like thermal vents, yes. Hey, that's clean energy.
- 32:25You know you you can't be too right to that.
- 32:28Right. Well, what's in here?
- 32:30I don't know. Jeb, you you you lead the way.
- 32:33All right, well, you step through the door here and looks
- 32:37like a lot of boxes. Jeb, you step into a room with a
- 32:41lot of boxes, and on the South walls is a door and underneath
- 32:45it it says authorized personnel only.
- 32:48The door, however, is open. Well, I suppose we keep going,
- 32:56huh? I guess.
- 32:58Great. And Dell checks behind the boxes
- 33:00and finds nothing. It's.
- 33:01Really dusty in here. I don't think anybody's been in
- 33:04here for months. Well, how long do you think the
- 33:09the dead bodies will be here? The same amount of time thing.
- 33:13Oh, the the guy in the office? Yeah, I'd say about that.
- 33:16That's the last time the file was accessed, so that's my
- 33:18guess. Did you say that?
- 33:20Oh, is this a big tube? Oh.
- 33:23Or something. Fendel and Jeb, you both look
- 33:27down and on the ground you see an indent of.
- 33:30A tube. There used to be a tube.
- 33:33No, I think there's a tube below us, like in the ground, because
- 33:35look, it bows out a little bit. See that?
- 33:38Oh. And it's cold.
- 33:40Well, it's true. We're just cold, so follow the
- 33:44tube. Follow the tube, Jeb.
- 33:47All right. Jeb, you open a door to a large,
- 33:52large room. In this room are rows and rows
- 33:57of these pods. There's a hum to this room that
- 34:01makes you feel uneasy, and you take a few steps forward.
- 34:08You hear clicking in the distance.
- 34:12Yeah. You see them this?
- 34:15Yes, I am. Each of the pods glass on the
- 34:19front of it has been frosted out with condensation, but deep
- 34:23beneath the glass you see a humanoid shadow figure.
- 34:27I think these pods are full of people, then Dale and I'd say
- 34:30there are about 56799101215410151671919202120.
- 34:39223, I think there are about 72,000 people here.
- 34:43Oh yeah, that was going to take me a while to camp.
- 34:45Wow. There's a computer down at the
- 34:47end of the corridor. Oh yeah, there is.
- 34:51Do you think these people are dead?
- 34:52I'm going to go up to one of the up to one of the pods.
- 34:56I'm going to go up to one of the pods and take a look at this
- 35:00shadowy figure behind it. You squeak your hand across the
- 35:04front, and on the top of the pod you can see a little readout.
- 35:08It says 400 W slash 1.4 V There in this pod is a emaciated human
- 35:16with their jaw aghast, barely alive as they twitch lightly as
- 35:21light flicks of electricity Passover their skin.
- 35:24And they're covered in these tubes that lead in and out of
- 35:28their flesh in a way that is beyond macabre.
- 35:32Oh wow, I think they might still be liable, at least not entirely
- 35:41dead. Vendel has walked beyond you,
- 35:45further down the corridor, overwhelmed by this horrible
- 35:50display. And as they reach the end of the
- 35:53corridor, there on a big screen above the computer, it says
- 35:58battery level 98%. Oh.
- 36:03No, these people only have 98% battery left.
- 36:10They're going to die once it gets to 0.
- 36:22Next time on no latency. Van Dale hurry.
- 36:30You son worried. It's people.
- 36:33I know. We knew you'd find them.
- 36:35It's a good thing that you have a good therapist.
- 36:37That's them. When they're done being used.
- 36:39Yes, they. Got to get rid of them somehow.
- 36:42Are you all right? Oh God, is it good to see you
- 36:44guys. Yeah, it's good.
- 36:46We're all back. Jeb, why are you all wet?
- 36:49Screw the vendets. I'm going in the lab.
- 36:51Kaboom. You've done that before.
- 36:55Twice. Oh, we we've done many a kaboom.
- 36:58Imploding buildings. I type in by whose authority?
- 37:01Bad, bad drone. It got out.
- 37:05What do you think it is? Is it possible that it is the
- 37:09research? Maybe there's another vent?
- 37:12I grabbed one from upstairs. Wait, are you the boss?
- 37:15I make the most money. What is in the pod?
- 37:19Vivi, in your medical opinion, do you think that we can save
