- 2:05Speaker 7: the voice, come on, dig me now, one and only
- 2:08Speaker 7: Steve Harvey Man got a radio show, man, Yeah, dude,
- 2:13Speaker 7: Steve Harvey got a radio show because I can't tell
- 2:19Speaker 7: it to you any other way. Because God has been
- 2:22Speaker 7: so so very amazing to me. But the same God,
- 2:29Speaker 7: and there is but one that same God he is.
- 2:35Speaker 7: It can and will be amazing in your life if
- 2:38Speaker 7: you just allow it to happen.
- 2:41Speaker 6: You know.
- 2:42Speaker 7: I was somewhere, you know, and I was driving on
- 2:45Speaker 7: the freeway somewhere, and I saw a billboard and there
- 2:52Speaker 7: was a guy in a field on his knees. And
- 2:57Speaker 7: on this billboard it said something to the effect when
- 3:03Speaker 7: you've run out of answers, try prayer. I was going somewhere,
- 3:11Speaker 7: and I don't even remember I go so much. Man,
- 3:14Speaker 7: I was just going somewhere and I saw this billboard
- 3:19Speaker 7: and I thought about that, And man, I cannot tell
- 3:24Speaker 7: you how true of a statement that is. When you've
- 3:29Speaker 7: run out of answers, when you don't know what to do,
- 3:33Speaker 7: when you feel weak, when you are at a low point,
- 3:37Speaker 7: when things just seem to keep happening to you, and
- 3:41Speaker 7: you don't understand why. Prayer is an amazing weapon. Prayer
- 3:48Speaker 7: is available to all of us. Here's a deal. You
- 3:54Speaker 7: don't have to go through the all of that you're
- 3:57Speaker 7: going through alone. See, I'm talking to men, women, boys, girls, students, leaders, bosses, employees.
- 4:08Speaker 7: I don't care what's happening. I don't care what your
- 4:10Speaker 7: situation is. I don't care if your relationship is all
- 4:14Speaker 7: jacked up. I don't care if your kids and your
- 4:17Speaker 7: relationship is jacked up. I don't care if your relationship
- 4:22Speaker 7: at work is shot. Your coworkers seem to always make
- 4:26Speaker 7: you the buddy end of the joke. You always somebody
- 4:29Speaker 7: always talking about you behind your back. You're finding it
- 4:32Speaker 7: more and more necessary to try to hold your head
- 4:35Speaker 7: up and walk past these people when some days you
- 4:38Speaker 7: can't even get your chin up off your chest. If
- 4:42Speaker 7: you're a woman out there and you've been alone by
- 4:44Speaker 7: yourself for so long and you just tied of being alone.
- 4:48Speaker 7: You really want a relationship, you really want to be
- 4:52Speaker 7: have a mate, you want to meet your soul mate.
- 4:55Speaker 8: Whatever it is, whatever it is, prayer is the answer.
- 5:02Speaker 7: You are listening to a guy who is a direct
- 5:06Speaker 7: recipient of prayer. I can't tell you anything that I've
- 5:12Speaker 7: gotten out of that I didn't pray about.
- 5:16Speaker 8: Oh, now, there are a lot of things. Hold on,
- 5:19Speaker 8: let me backtrack a little bit.
- 5:20Speaker 7: There are a lot of things that have happened in
- 5:22Speaker 7: my life that I've gotten past without praying, because I
- 5:26Speaker 7: think my mama was praying for me. And then there's
- 5:29Speaker 7: this thing that God has called grace and mercy that
- 5:32Speaker 7: he just somehow keeps us all waking up every day
- 5:36Speaker 7: without foot on some form of solid ground because He's
- 5:40Speaker 7: just waiting on us to come to it. But y'all,
- 5:44Speaker 7: if you can implement prayer into your day every single day,
- 5:50Speaker 7: and I'm talking about put it in there at the
- 5:53Speaker 7: top of your day, put it in there in the
- 5:55Speaker 7: middle of your day, put it in there when you
- 5:58Speaker 7: close your day out when you're sitting at your desk
- 6:01Speaker 7: and ain't nobody bothering you, that's a good time.
- 6:05Speaker 9: Now.
- 6:06Speaker 7: Look, you don't have to make no sing. You ain't
- 6:09Speaker 7: got to let everybody know, Oh I'm spiritual, I love God,
- 6:12Speaker 7: look at me, Oh I'm down, or you ain't got
- 6:14Speaker 7: to do none of that. Matter of fact, don't do
- 6:16Speaker 7: it for that reason, because if that's your reason for
- 6:19Speaker 7: doing it, that's gonna be your reward.
- 6:21Speaker 9: If you want.
- 6:21Speaker 7: Somebody to just say, oh, they pray every you know,
- 6:24Speaker 7: they pray at lunch and they have a Bible on
- 6:26Speaker 7: their desk and they have a bunch of highlights in it.
- 6:28Speaker 7: If you sitting it out there so people can see
- 6:30Speaker 7: that that's what you do, then that's gonna be your reward.
- 6:33Speaker 7: Please know that's gonna be your reward. What I want
- 6:39Speaker 7: you to do is pray. Ask God for the things
- 6:44Speaker 7: the desires of your heart, have a faith, believe in them.
- 6:50Speaker 7: But pray earnestly.
- 6:52Speaker 9: Man.
- 6:52Speaker 7: I mean, actually go at it with saying, hey, God,
- 6:56Speaker 7: listen to me. I can't do this without you. I
- 7:00Speaker 7: need your help. Listen, man, I know a lot of
- 7:03Speaker 7: people that pray. I know a lot of it. If
- 7:06Speaker 7: I told you the rich and famous that I talk
- 7:11Speaker 7: to that pray constantly. It would have made you go
- 7:14Speaker 7: talk to God about it.
- 7:16Speaker 9: Man.
- 7:16Speaker 7: Matter of fact, you done already got yourself into trouble.
- 7:20Speaker 7: Go talk to God about it. You can't see no
- 7:23Speaker 7: way out. You're in a situation. You're thinking about doing
- 7:25Speaker 7: something straight crazy. Pump your brakes, partner, Slow down a
- 7:29Speaker 7: little bit, my man, Slow down. Don't all you're gonna
- 7:34Speaker 7: do is make situation worse. Go over there today and
- 7:39Speaker 7: talk to God. Talk to God for real. Just and look, man,
- 7:45Speaker 7: you know what. Man, Sometimes I've gone to God and
- 7:48Speaker 7: I've just said, Hey, God, I don't have a clue.
- 7:52Speaker 7: Matter of fact, I'm so jacked of right now. God,
- 7:55Speaker 7: I don't even really know what to ask you for.
- 7:57Speaker 7: I just need some help. I'm so deep in some
- 8:01Speaker 7: mess right now. Not only can I not see the
- 8:05Speaker 7: way out, I can't see my way round. There's a
- 8:10Speaker 7: there's a poem called Invictis, and the opening line says,
- 8:15Speaker 7: out of the night that covers me black as a
- 8:20Speaker 7: pit from pole to pole, I thank God's for whatever
- 8:27Speaker 7: be for my unconquerable soul. That this line is so deep.
- 8:32Speaker 7: It starts off saying I am in deep trouble. I'm
- 8:37Speaker 7: in a pit, black as a pit.
- 8:41Speaker 1: From pole to pole.
- 8:43Speaker 7: I'm talking about man. From over there to over there,
- 8:46Speaker 7: it's pitch black and and and man, that man. You've
- 8:55Speaker 7: been in that situation before, y'all, because I have. I'm
- 8:58Speaker 7: talking about black as a pit from pole to pole.
- 9:04Speaker 7: God is there, God is available. God is always standing by.
- 9:11Speaker 7: He just wants you to come to him. See, he
- 9:16Speaker 7: been coming to you a whole lot of times. He's
- 9:18Speaker 7: presented himself. I can't tell you how many times he's
- 9:22Speaker 7: shown you how good a god he is. He's given
- 9:25Speaker 7: us all grace and mercy without us asking for it.
- 9:27Speaker 7: He's gotten you through some things. And you looked at him, going, oh, man,
- 9:31Speaker 7: I don't know how the hell. Okay, that's cool, I'm cool.
- 9:34Speaker 7: No no, no, no, no, that wasn't cool.
- 9:35Speaker 9: That was God.
- 9:38Speaker 7: Pray man, when you out of answers and you don't
- 9:40Speaker 7: know what to do, pray. If you see some trouble,
- 9:43Speaker 7: come and pray. If you've already got into it, pray
- 9:46Speaker 7: if you don't know the answers, Pray. If you can't
- 9:49Speaker 7: see no way out, pray, Pray man, talk to God.
- 9:52Speaker 7: Don't make a scene. Just talk to God. All right,
- 9:56Speaker 7: very important.

- 12:21Speaker 1: been to one. I've never been.
- 12:22Speaker 9: Oh, you gotta go visit, you gotta do. This is

- 13:40Speaker 14: we'll hear from the nephew once again as he runs

- 13:48Speaker 14: the nephew to run that prank back. What you got
- 13:51Speaker 14: for us.
- 13:52Speaker 9: Now we're gonna do a little spanking around here, Shirley.
- 13:54Speaker 9: This is corporate punishment. Let's go, let's go, let's go.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Hello him.
- 14:00Speaker 6: I'm trying to reach it, mister.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Cotton, msmss Cotton.
- 14:03Speaker 9: Okay, can you turn your radio or TV down? I
- 14:06Speaker 9: can't really hear you. Oh yes, sir, My name is
- 14:10Speaker 9: mister Lanson. I'm actually the new principal here at middle school.
- 14:13Speaker 9: And what's the name again, mister Lanson?
- 14:16Speaker 3: Mister Lanson?
- 14:17Speaker 9: Okay, your son he attends middle school here? Am I correct? Yes, sir, Okay,
- 14:22Speaker 9: good listen. I'm the new principal here. We've just replaced
- 14:26Speaker 9: the last principal, and I'm actually calling around. What I've
- 14:30Speaker 9: done is when I before I got here, I asked
- 14:32Speaker 9: for a list of students that were you know, I'm
- 14:35Speaker 9: not going to say problem kids, but you know that
- 14:38Speaker 9: kind of get themselves in a little trouble here and there.
- 14:40Speaker 6: And your son's name happens to be on the list.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Name is on that list.
- 14:45Speaker 9: Yes, I got about I got about thirty five kids
- 14:48Speaker 9: that are actually on this list, and your son is
- 14:52Speaker 9: actually on the list, and you are, mister Cotton, correct, I.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Am mister Cotton. I mean, are you sure you speaking
- 14:58Speaker 3: about my son?
- 14:59Speaker 6: Though?
- 15:00Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean, there's only there's only one on the list, sir,
- 15:03Speaker 9: I'm it's it's it's what's been given to me. And
- 15:06Speaker 9: what what I'm doing is calling around to all of
- 15:08Speaker 9: the parents of the kids that are on this list
- 15:12Speaker 9: and letting you guys know that I'm going to be
- 15:13Speaker 9: keeping a closed eye on them as well as letting
- 15:16Speaker 9: you know that I'm going to be reinstating corporal punishment
- 15:19Speaker 9: here in the school. So so what's that. That's actually
- 15:24Speaker 9: where if your son gets sent to the office, which
- 15:26Speaker 9: is my office, then there will be paddling going on.
- 15:29Speaker 9: And opposed to I don't believe in I don't believe
- 15:32Speaker 9: in I don't believe in suspension. I believe in you know,
- 15:36Speaker 9: if we spank these kids, we can get them back
- 15:37Speaker 9: in order.
- 15:38Speaker 6: So, sir, here's my thing.
- 15:42Speaker 9: I really truly believe that we get back to to
- 15:45Speaker 9: you know, and I don't mean what I'm about to
- 15:46Speaker 9: say to be harsh, but if we get back to beaten,
- 15:48Speaker 9: we'll get these kids back in order.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I mean, but I know he had troubled in English,
- 15:53Speaker 3: but I don't think that's a call for beaten.
- 15:57Speaker 9: No, no, no, this has nothing to do with great sir.
- 15:59Speaker 9: This has to do with punishment. And what I'm understanding
- 16:02Speaker 9: is if your son is on my list, and if
- 16:04Speaker 9: your son comes down to my office, I'm gonna take
- 16:07Speaker 9: care of it right then and there.
- 16:08Speaker 3: What if my son come to your offer, You're gonna
- 16:10Speaker 3: be on my damn list, Sir.
- 16:13Speaker 6: I'm trying to get these kids back in order.
- 16:15Speaker 9: That's the reason why I've been brought in and I've
- 16:17Speaker 9: replaced the last principle you understand. So what I need
- 16:20Speaker 9: from you is to get to get a great understanding
- 16:22Speaker 9: that if your child comes to my office, corporal punishment
- 16:25Speaker 9: will be what he's going to deal with.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Okay, I'll tell you what. Let my son come home
- 16:30Speaker 3: and tell me he got some damn corporal punishment, and
- 16:32Speaker 3: the next morning me and You're gonna do some corporal punishment.
- 16:35Speaker 6: Sir.
- 16:35Speaker 9: Do you want your child in order or do you
- 16:37Speaker 9: want to be bailing his butt out of jail at
- 16:39Speaker 9: the age of eighteen eight?
- 16:40Speaker 3: They gonna be bailing me out of jail if you
- 16:42Speaker 3: put your damn hands on my son.
- 16:44Speaker 9: Okay, are you taking care of your son? Punishment wise?
- 16:47Speaker 10: At home?
- 16:47Speaker 3: You need to my son. Don't give me no damn trouble.
- 16:51Speaker 9: Okay, here, here's the problem, parents not believing that their
- 16:56Speaker 9: children get in any trouble.
- 16:58Speaker 6: That's the first part.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I got email. I got a phone call. So the
- 17:02Speaker 3: first phone call I get is going straight whipping it.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Ain't no letter sent home, ain't no email sit home
- 17:07Speaker 3: saying day it's a problem.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I don't, I don't.
- 17:09Speaker 6: I don't, sir.
- 17:10Speaker 8: I'll you know.
- 17:11Speaker 9: I'm gonna come down here. I'm gonna tell you once again,
- 17:14Speaker 9: I am not going to send your son to detention.
- 17:18Speaker 9: I'm not gonna call you. I'm gonna take care of
- 17:21Speaker 9: my job.
- 17:22Speaker 3: My job is to make it I'm gonna take care
- 17:23Speaker 3: of mine when you take care of your, I'm gonna
- 17:25Speaker 3: take care of mine. And that protect my son and
- 17:27Speaker 3: you put your hands on him, and we got a problem.
- 17:30Speaker 9: We're gonna have a problem because nine time, I'm telling you,
- 17:34Speaker 9: right now, I'm calling you and giving you the warning.
- 17:36Speaker 9: Your son will be dealt with, and you're gonna be
- 17:38Speaker 9: dealt with, will be dealt with on a regular basis
- 17:41Speaker 9: if needed to.
- 17:42Speaker 3: You're gonna get dealt with on a regular But you're
- 17:44Speaker 3: gonna get tired of seeing me.
- 17:45Speaker 9: Okay, sir, do I need to actually have corporal punishment
- 17:48Speaker 9: with you?
- 17:49Speaker 3: I tell you what, When you bring that corporal punishment
- 17:51Speaker 3: to me, you better have the police there because they
- 17:53Speaker 3: gonna need corporal punishment. They gonna need whatever hell they're
- 17:56Speaker 3: gonna need to tlot team. When I get down, you
- 17:58Speaker 3: put your hands on myself.
- 18:00Speaker 15: I know that all them.
- 18:01Speaker 9: You know what, sir, Maybe maybe maybe the swipper needs
- 18:04Speaker 9: to start with you.
- 18:06Speaker 3: It has matter of fact, what time do you go
- 18:08Speaker 3: to lunch? If we can do this in front of the
- 18:10Speaker 3: cafeteria and let all the kids see the damn principal
- 18:13Speaker 3: get his damn corporal punishment, Sir sir.
- 18:16Speaker 6: I'm not.
- 18:17Speaker 9: I'm not.
- 18:17Speaker 6: I don't.
- 18:18Speaker 3: I don't fear you, chirsonally to feel of me because
- 18:20Speaker 3: I want you to stand there and take your whipper
- 18:22Speaker 3: like man. I don't want to chase you're wearing on
- 18:24Speaker 3: like no little ground in.
- 18:25Speaker 9: School, sir, Sir, sir, The bottom line is corporal punishment
- 18:29Speaker 9: is being instated. Your son is gonna abide by it.
- 18:31Speaker 9: You're gonna have to accept it, or maybe maybe you

- 36:03Speaker 14: to Trump's black jobs remark.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 36:06Speaker 10: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 36:09Speaker 14: According to USA today dot com, President Biden spoke at
- 36:13Speaker 14: the NAACP convention in Las Vegas, and he slammed former
- 36:17Speaker 14: President Donald Trump's for his comment about black jobs during
- 36:22Speaker 14: the last presidential debate. Trump claimed that black jobs are
- 36:25Speaker 14: being taken away by illegal immigrants. And we all know
- 36:28Speaker 14: that Trump's remarks were very racist. They were insightful. People
- 36:31Speaker 14: were talking about them. Take a listen to President Biden's
- 36:34Speaker 14: response to Trump's black jobs remark from a guy.
- 36:37Speaker 16: Said the births and my guest black Obama saying he
- 36:40Speaker 16: wasn't born in America and he wasn't a US citizen.
- 36:43Speaker 11: Of course, here's who takes some black jobs.
- 36:46Speaker 6: I love his phrase black jobs. Tell us a lot
- 36:51Speaker 6: about the man and about his characters. Oh tign know
- 36:55Speaker 6: what a black job is. It's a vice president of
- 36:57Speaker 6: United States?
- 37:09Speaker 18: I know what is.
- 37:14Speaker 11: The first black president? Is the prose of problem?
- 37:20Speaker 1: All right, come out jo. He was speaking to the NAACP. Well.
- 37:31Speaker 14: Trump's black job remark was widely criticized by Derek Johnson,
- 37:35Speaker 14: President and CEO of the NAACP. He said, there is
- 37:39Speaker 14: no such thing as a black job. Like most blacks
- 37:42Speaker 14: have been saying.
- 37:43Speaker 11: Uh.
- 37:44Speaker 14: He added that a quote black job is an American job.
- 37:48Speaker 14: He went on to say, it's concerning that a presidential
- 37:51Speaker 14: candidate would seek to make a non existent distinction, but
- 37:55Speaker 14: the divisive nature of this comment is not surprising for
- 37:59Speaker 14: Donald Trump.
- 38:00Speaker 1: End quote. Wow. That that sent the internet.
- 38:05Speaker 14: The social media was on fire that the day after
- 38:09Speaker 14: that debate, saying that, you know, uh, the n w
- 38:12Speaker 14: CP conventions theme is all in, Joe Biden said, He's
- 38:16Speaker 14: all in, and all in is reaffirming that the organization
- 38:19Speaker 14: is committed to using collective ingenuity, creativity, and strength to
- 38:25Speaker 14: continue the fight for civil rights.
- 38:27Speaker 1: That's right, that's right. I mean, we talked about it
- 38:30Speaker 1: the day after the debate. The black jobs. Are we
- 38:34Speaker 1: at our black job? Right job?
- 38:37Speaker 9: Doctors and lawyers at a black job. AND's some CEOs
- 38:41Speaker 9: at a black job. What you're talking about? It's some
- 38:43Speaker 9: great black.
- 38:44Speaker 6: Job out there. Yes, yes, we had on black job.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah we are here.
- 38:51Speaker 9: We are.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Who's hiring at the black job?
- 38:53Speaker 12: Who taking applications at their black job?
- 38:57Speaker 11: It's black people at HR. It's a black job.
- 39:00Speaker 6: HR. That's who hired.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Okay, such a racist remark. I had to get out here.
- 39:07Speaker 14: And get so out of touch, yes, so out of touch.
- 39:13Speaker 12: Yeah, all right, guys, I liked President Biden's energy.
- 39:17Speaker 14: Let's go uh huh all in all in coming up
- 39:20Speaker 14: in thirty four minutes after the hour, Nephew Tommy is
- 39:23Speaker 14: going to check his uncle Steve's voicemail eight seven seven
- 39:26Speaker 14: twenty nine.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Steve, call us right after this.
- 39:30Speaker 10: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 39:33Speaker 14: All right, it's now time to check Steve's voicemail eight
- 39:36Speaker 14: seven seven twenty nine. Steve, you can call and leave

- 39:42Speaker 14: us on the show, and you might just hear your
- 39:43Speaker 14: call on the air. All right, and if you take
- 39:45Speaker 14: it away. This one is from Denise from Queen. She
- 39:48Speaker 14: left a message about the election and the president Mala Race.
- 39:52Speaker 5: Good morning, Steve Harvey. I've been listening to you forever
- 39:56Speaker 5: for years and years. Anyway, my name is Denise. I
- 40:00Speaker 5: come from originally from Queensland. I am now living in Rockland. Anyway,
- 40:05Speaker 5: here's the main issue I want to say to you.
- 40:08Speaker 5: The main thing about Biden. They don't want him to
- 40:11Speaker 5: go to be president because if he dies, Carmela takes over.
- 40:17Speaker 5: That's what the real issue is that's what they're trying
- 40:20Speaker 5: to avoid sayings because then they come out to be
- 40:23Speaker 5: what they're raising people. But anyway, thank you, I love
- 40:28Speaker 5: you all. You all are so spectacular and beautiful. Continue
- 40:34Speaker 5: doing what you're doing, and I keep praying that God
- 40:36Speaker 5: chilled you and your families forever. Love y'all.
- 40:40Speaker 6: Spot on.
- 40:41Speaker 9: Nobody wants to omit it, nobody wants to Nobody wants
- 40:44Speaker 9: to say it. But at the end of the day,
- 40:46Speaker 9: that's what they're all looking at. If something happens to
- 40:48Speaker 9: this man, you already know who becomes the president and
- 40:51Speaker 9: it will be the beautiful Kamala and you don't want
- 40:54Speaker 9: that or don't want.
- 40:56Speaker 12: To say ella, yes, but the vice president will be
- 41:00Speaker 12: at her black job. Is that we were back to that? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 41:05Speaker 12: She's right though her comments, she's just on all right.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Here's another one.
- 41:09Speaker 14: Uh, this woman tell me left a congratulations, congratulatory message
- 41:13Speaker 14: for Junior.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Let's see what this is.
- 41:17Speaker 19: Junior congratulation on the new baby that he's going to have.
- 41:21Speaker 19: Tell him don't let the baby stress him out. He
- 41:24Speaker 19: got stressed the baby out before the baby need to
- 41:26Speaker 19: stress him out. Yeah, y'all, larrus I love when I
- 41:33Speaker 19: talked to y'all.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Mmmm.
- 41:36Speaker 19: You know it's a recording, but I still love it. Wiam.
- 41:41Speaker 6: I think she was with the country singer.
- 41:43Speaker 1: We had so much in that call.
- 41:48Speaker 11: It was a lot much.
- 41:52Speaker 17: I'm gonna go and ask my wife right now because
- 41:54Speaker 17: it's the serious here, go with.
- 41:57Speaker 11: Yeah, what baby we have it? I ain't know nothing back.
- 42:01Speaker 18: You don't ask her right now, go ask yeah.
- 42:05Speaker 13: Bye.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Now, this is a black job right here.
- 42:19Speaker 11: She said, she'll know what I'm talking about, and you
- 42:21Speaker 11: don't talk to her no more.
- 42:22Speaker 12: By having no baby, by having no baby, I'm just like,
- 42:27Speaker 12: JU hasn't told us anything.
- 42:29Speaker 11: Man, I'm shocked too.
- 42:31Speaker 1: She was like, where should get that from?

- 42:36Speaker 9: what she got it.
- 42:39Speaker 6: I just love y'all. I know this is a recording,
- 42:47Speaker 6: all right.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Tell me last caller this.
- 42:49Speaker 14: He thinks that this caller's name is John. He thinks
- 42:53Speaker 14: that Trump's assassination attempt was not real.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Take a listen, Okay, hey, mister Harvey.
- 43:00Speaker 20: Look, I'm just curious about what happened yesterday. Believe it
- 43:04Speaker 20: or not, the Republicans are pulling out all the stops
- 43:08Speaker 20: that was a stage incident yesterday, accident whatever y'all want
- 43:12Speaker 20: to call it, But it was staged by Donald Trump. God,
- 43:15Speaker 20: looked at the whole thing.
- 43:17Speaker 6: I seen when he was following.
- 43:18Speaker 20: Wasn't no blood on him all of a sudden when
- 43:20Speaker 20: they picked him up, blood all over. They come on, man,
- 43:24Speaker 20: it was stage believe me, to turn the Republicans against
- 43:29Speaker 20: the Democrats.
- 43:30Speaker 6: That's all it was about.
- 43:31Speaker 20: That's another one of Trump Trump cars. He ain't been
- 43:36Speaker 20: nothing but a liaryar all this time. And you know
- 43:39Speaker 20: who in the hear how convicted felon? What country?
- 43:42Speaker 21: Do you know?
- 43:42Speaker 20: Got to convict the felling for a president?
- 43:44Speaker 9: Who do that?
- 43:46Speaker 20: Black man can't get a job at the damn post
- 43:48Speaker 20: office with one fethern. This man got thirty four.
- 43:54Speaker 16: Too.
- 43:56Speaker 6: You know what?
- 43:56Speaker 9: Now, Now I gotta go back and look at it again. Okay,
- 43:58Speaker 9: I got to see him go down and come back

- 53:26Speaker 9: you need a generator. I'm just headling. You need a generator. Period.

- 54:10Speaker 14: it could be yours.
- 54:12Speaker 6: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on type.
- 54:14Speaker 6: We got it for you here it is strawberry letter.
- 54:16Speaker 14: All right, Thank you, nephew. The subject is he wants
- 54:19Speaker 14: me to share him with women at church. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:23Speaker 14: My husband and I have been married for twelve years
- 54:27Speaker 14: and he is on just about every committee at our church,
- 54:30Speaker 14: so he's always doing something for ladies at our church.
- 54:33Speaker 14: He does not offer to take me with him, even
- 54:36Speaker 14: though I complain that he does not spend time with
- 54:38Speaker 14: me like he used to. He told me that it's
- 54:41Speaker 14: part of his calling to serve others. He likes to
- 54:43Speaker 14: mirror what our pastor does, so he'll drop everything to
- 54:47Speaker 14: go help single help the single women. The single church
- 54:51Speaker 14: women do odd jobs around the house. Just like Saturday,
- 54:55Speaker 14: he went to change out the filters in a single
- 54:57Speaker 14: church member's air conditioner. He came in late and said
- 55:01Speaker 14: the unit was in the attic and he had trouble
- 55:04Speaker 14: getting to it while he is gone helping others. He
- 55:06Speaker 14: doesn't answer my calls at all, but he will text
- 55:10Speaker 14: me when he's headed home. He won't ever tell me
- 55:13Speaker 14: why he ignored my calls while he was out. Why
- 55:16Speaker 14: don't We don't have any children together. But he has
- 55:18Speaker 14: a teen son that he also uses as an excuse
- 55:22Speaker 14: to get out of the house. Recently, he said he
- 55:24Speaker 14: was going to chaperon a youth event at the Fellowship Hall,
- 55:27Speaker 14: but his son said the event was postponed. My husband
- 55:30Speaker 14: never told me the event didn't happen. I overlook a
- 55:34Speaker 14: lot of what he does, but when it comes to
- 55:37Speaker 14: the women at church, I don't like sharing him. I
- 55:40Speaker 14: don't understand why he has to fix things for them
- 55:42Speaker 14: or help them out around the house. It is taking
- 55:46Speaker 14: my patience to a new level. But he keeps on
- 55:49Speaker 14: telling me to stop being selfish. Is he using the
- 55:52Speaker 14: word to his advantage? Do you think that he is
- 55:55Speaker 14: really doing the Lord's work?
- 55:57Speaker 10: Or is he a cheater?
- 55:59Speaker 14: All right, I know you wrote us. You already know
- 56:02Speaker 14: the answer. You know what's going on. Nothing you've said
- 56:06Speaker 14: in this letter makes any sense.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Nothing. Who does this kind of stuff but a cheater? Okay?
- 56:12Speaker 1: All the red flags are there, but you are ignoring them,
- 56:16Speaker 1: as we women often do.
- 56:17Speaker 14: We collect them. We see the signs, they're right there.
- 56:22Speaker 14: He doesn't answer any phone calls when you call them.
- 56:24Speaker 14: All of that, we see them, but we ignore them.
- 56:27Speaker 14: He's putting all these women, all these so called church women,
- 56:31Speaker 14: before you, before his family, before his household. I bet
- 56:36Speaker 14: you have stuff in your own house that needs fixing.
- 56:39Speaker 14: But he's out there taking care of the single women
- 56:41Speaker 14: at the church, saying that this is the Lord's work.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Come on, now, this is not right. So the question
- 56:46Speaker 1: comes right.
- 56:47Speaker 9: Back to you.
- 56:48Speaker 14: Why are you allowing him to do this? Why don't
- 56:50Speaker 14: you step up? Why don't you say something? He's taking
- 56:53Speaker 14: you for granted, he's ignoring you. He is not doing
- 56:56Speaker 14: the Lord's work, whatever his name is name is, He's
- 57:01Speaker 14: doing his own selfish work. This is not right, and
- 57:04Speaker 14: you know has nothing to do with the Lord.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Tommy, what you got.
- 57:09Speaker 2: I am.
- 57:11Speaker 23: Hezekiah the Holy Helper, I said, I am Hezekiah the
- 57:17Speaker 23: Holy Helper, and it is my job to help these
- 57:22Speaker 23: ladies at the church.
- 57:24Speaker 9: There's going through some stress and going through some problems.
- 57:28Speaker 9: I got a call, I said, I got a call
- 57:32Speaker 9: from sister Darlen. She's having some issues with her vocal cord.
- 57:38Speaker 9: I went over there, I said, I went over there
- 57:42Speaker 9: and I.
- 57:42Speaker 23: Touched them vocal card. Good guy, tolmighty. She doing good now.
- 57:47Speaker 23: I was on my way home, coming back to you.
- 57:51Speaker 23: But I got another call.
- 57:53Speaker 6: Come call.
- 57:54Speaker 9: I'm sorry, but sister kind of call. Slats under her
- 57:59Speaker 9: bed keep falling. I went over there and got them
- 58:03Speaker 9: slats back on track. We tried them slats out to
- 58:08Speaker 9: make sure they don't fall no mood.
- 58:11Speaker 1: I was on my way, asked it.
- 58:14Speaker 9: I was on my way to see you. I was
- 58:17Speaker 9: coming home, baby, but sister Bernardine gave me a call.
- 58:23Speaker 9: She's having problems getting her girdle on. I went over there,
- 58:29Speaker 9: Yes I did.
- 58:30Speaker 23: And I got behind sister girl and pull that girdle
- 58:34Speaker 23: and got on up in there.
- 58:36Speaker 9: Now she can go on by her business. I was
- 58:40Speaker 9: on my way home, but I got another call.
- 58:44Speaker 11: Moster Faith, I said, sister Faith.
- 58:48Speaker 23: She gave me a call, said she needed to get
- 58:51Speaker 23: her back waxed because she got haigh growing.
- 58:54Speaker 9: I went over there and I waxed that back, that back.
- 59:01Speaker 9: I was a backwaxer all leaving alone.
- 59:06Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 59:07Speaker 9: Yes, sometimes in our ministries. We have people that don't
- 59:13Speaker 9: agree with what we're doing. But me, I am Hezekiah
- 59:18Speaker 9: the Holy Helper. And when I get a call, When
- 59:22Speaker 9: Hezekiah gets a call and they need me and these
- 59:26Speaker 9: women are in distress, I will come. I will drop
- 59:31Speaker 9: everything that I am doing and come as quickly as
- 59:35Speaker 9: I can.
- 59:36Speaker 2: All right.
- 59:38Speaker 9: Yes, So there's any women out there that needs some
- 59:42Speaker 9: help from Hezekia the Holy Helper, Please on Helzekaid the
- 59:46Speaker 9: call one A seven seven twenty nine, Steve. That's eight
- 59:51Speaker 9: seven seven twenty nine, Steve. And all I want you
- 59:55Speaker 9: to ask for Hezekai the Holy Helper and leave me
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: a message on what it is you need me to do.
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: All right, and I'm gonna check that tomorrow.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:00:06Speaker 23: That's Hezekaya but holy help eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: And I am here to help you forever you need,
- 1:00:15Speaker 9: all right. It doesn't matter what time. If it's two
- 1:00:19Speaker 9: in the morning, three in the morning, four called Hezekaya,
- 1:00:24Speaker 9: help is on the way, all right.
- 1:00:26Speaker 15: Hang on.
- 1:00:29Speaker 14: Coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:00:33Speaker 14: come back and recap this strawberry letter. He wants to
- 1:00:36Speaker 14: he wants me to share him with other women.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: At the church. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:42Speaker 10: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:45Speaker 14: All right, it's time to recap today's strawberry letter. The
- 1:00:48Speaker 14: subject is he wants me to share him with women
- 1:00:51Speaker 14: at the church. A woman wrote this letter. She and
- 1:00:53Speaker 14: her husband have been married for twelve years, and she
- 1:00:56Speaker 14: says in church he's just about on every committee, so
- 1:01:00Speaker 14: he's always doing something for the single ladies at the church,
- 1:01:04Speaker 14: saying he's been called to serve and he's trying to
- 1:01:07Speaker 14: mimic the pastor who has been called to serve. He
- 1:01:12Speaker 14: doesn't offer to take his wife with him, even though
- 1:01:15Speaker 14: she complains that she doesn't. He doesn't spend enough time
- 1:01:18Speaker 14: with her like they used to. He just said it's
- 1:01:21Speaker 14: his part of his calling to serve others. And again
- 1:01:25Speaker 14: he likes to mirror what the pastor does with going
- 1:01:27Speaker 14: out and helping these single women. Just last Saturday, he
- 1:01:30Speaker 14: went to change the filters at a single church member's
- 1:01:33Speaker 14: house in her air conditioner while he was gone helping others.
- 1:01:39Speaker 14: While he is away, he doesn't answer his wife's phone calls,
- 1:01:43Speaker 14: but he will text her when he's headed home. A
- 1:01:45Speaker 14: lot of times it's late at night. He won't even
- 1:01:49Speaker 14: tell her why he ignored the calls. And they don't
- 1:01:53Speaker 14: have any children, but he does have a son, and
- 1:01:55Speaker 14: a lot of times he uses his son as an
- 1:01:57Speaker 14: excuse to get out of the house. So his son
- 1:02:02Speaker 14: told him one time that he had an event at
- 1:02:05Speaker 14: the at his school and the husband was going to chaperone.
- 1:02:08Speaker 14: But the husband never told her that the chapper that
- 1:02:11Speaker 14: the event was called off. He didn't have to chaperone
- 1:02:14Speaker 14: after all, so he went out anyway. So a lot
- 1:02:17Speaker 14: of this is going on. She's asking is he using
- 1:02:20Speaker 14: the word to take advantage of her? And does he
- 1:02:24Speaker 14: do we think he's doing the Lord's work?
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: Or is he a cheater?
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: All right, I think we're in agreement that he's a cheater, Junior.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Let's hear what you got. He wants me to share
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: him with women at the church.
- 1:02:37Speaker 17: I want to thank Hiszekaia the Holy Helper for that
- 1:02:42Speaker 17: wonderful word. I just want to give her this word.
- 1:02:47Speaker 17: Let her understand that the word today is stop being selfish.
- 1:02:55Speaker 9: I'm on here, boy, I just want to know that.
- 1:02:58Speaker 11: You said it yourself.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You said stop being selfish.
- 1:03:03Speaker 17: By definition, selfish means to ignore others, intend to your
- 1:03:08Speaker 17: own needs.
- 1:03:09Speaker 9: That's right, that's right.
- 1:03:10Speaker 11: But this man has a has a calling. See, his
- 1:03:14Speaker 11: calling is to serve the women of the church.
- 1:03:17Speaker 17: Now you may not understand his calling, but imagine if
- 1:03:20Speaker 17: the law was selfish with you.
- 1:03:23Speaker 9: Come on, you.
- 1:03:26Speaker 17: See every every time. Imagine if the Lord just didn't
- 1:03:29Speaker 17: help you with your bills. Come on, imagine if the
- 1:03:32Speaker 17: Lord was selfish with everything that.
- 1:03:34Speaker 11: You asked for.
- 1:03:36Speaker 9: Take your time.
- 1:03:36Speaker 17: But you're sitting up here upset because he changing filters.
- 1:03:41Speaker 17: You mad because he can change the eye condition filter,
- 1:03:43Speaker 17: he can he can tighten some pipes.
- 1:03:47Speaker 11: Come on, I can't believe you upset.
- 1:03:50Speaker 17: I would imagine if you were selfish, these people wouldn't
- 1:03:53Speaker 17: have it.
- 1:03:54Speaker 11: Now you're using his son against some message. That's wrong.
- 1:03:56Speaker 17: You misunderstood what he was saying. I already understood what
- 1:03:59Speaker 17: he was saying. You said his son said that the
- 1:04:02Speaker 17: party was canceled. It was postponed. But see, when you're
- 1:04:05Speaker 17: helping single mother, you become the father of many. See
- 1:04:07Speaker 17: they all got children. About his son, we talk about
- 1:04:12Speaker 17: another son that it got from Miss Sarah's son. That's
- 1:04:15Speaker 17: who he's talking about.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: He had a party.
- 1:04:17Speaker 17: He was chaperone in that one. See you don't understand.
- 1:04:20Speaker 17: You're being selfish that this man help.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: That's what you need to do.
- 1:04:24Speaker 11: Understand when he come home, have a hot plate, he'd
- 1:04:27Speaker 11: be out there helping. He just need a meal.
- 1:04:29Speaker 17: He's doing everything he can. His hands has worked down
- 1:04:32Speaker 17: to the bones, and he tied you brially, and you
- 1:04:34Speaker 17: all you can do is complain. You won't call me
- 1:04:36Speaker 17: on the way home.
- 1:04:37Speaker 11: I can't talk when I'm working.
- 1:04:39Speaker 17: Come on now, I can't make phone calls when I'm
- 1:04:43Speaker 17: out here digging dishes.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: I can't do it.
- 1:04:48Speaker 17: Brother, here is trying to work for everybody. You know
- 1:04:50Speaker 17: how many single women in this church? The phone, don't
- 1:04:52Speaker 17: stop bringing I'm about I'm bout my biggest I'm a
- 1:04:56Speaker 17: bouting my calling.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: That's what he knew.
- 1:04:58Speaker 11: Don't have time for no regular talk.
- 1:05:00Speaker 9: She's gonna come help.
- 1:05:02Speaker 17: Hold the filter for me, hold the wrench, get a
- 1:05:04Speaker 17: screw driver. I don't be complaining. You're being selfish. Come
- 1:05:07Speaker 17: on on, man, I just want to say thank you.
- 1:05:12Speaker 17: Here's a kind and helper for bringing that on home.
- 1:05:15Speaker 17: And the word today is stopped being selfish. Think of
- 1:05:18Speaker 17: those outside yourself.
- 1:05:20Speaker 11: And everything that you have. See ain't no problems at
- 1:05:22Speaker 11: your house. Though, don't nothing need fixing here. There's no
- 1:05:25Speaker 11: work for me here. This land is dry. I don't
- 1:05:27Speaker 11: need to be. Hey, I got to go where the
- 1:05:30Speaker 11: wells at.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I'm thirsty.
- 1:05:32Speaker 11: I got to go walk.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: You condoning his cheating. He's not cheating.
- 1:05:38Speaker 17: He's out there working, he's serving, he's doing his calling.
- 1:05:41Speaker 17: I bet you if if he was out in the
- 1:05:42Speaker 17: strip club, we have plenty to say. I bet you
- 1:05:47Speaker 17: if he's having a fast, we have plenty to say. Well,
- 1:05:50Speaker 17: the Martin is out here fixing everything. Hold the Martin
- 1:05:55Speaker 17: out here working on this corner. Come on, he don't
- 1:05:58Speaker 17: need nobody distracting them. And that's fun of his that's
- 1:06:01Speaker 17: none of his business. I got children everywhere. I'm a
- 1:06:04Speaker 17: father figured out. I'm feeling as father.
- 1:06:07Speaker 22: This is what I do.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Come on, Is he doing his Lord's work? Is he
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: doing the lord?
- 1:06:11Speaker 11: He's doing the Lord's work. He's been doing it.
- 1:06:13Speaker 9: Yes, he's calling.
- 1:06:15Speaker 11: Word about this man fixing everything. Ain't nobody got no
- 1:06:19Speaker 11: hot bills. He do it for free. He don't even charge.
- 1:06:21Speaker 11: Ain't see the blessing in this, And it's a blessing
- 1:06:25Speaker 11: in disgust has a kind of help, has a kind
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: of Holy help. I told you all that. He told
- 1:06:30Speaker 11: you where he's working at.
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: He got places to be wax up back in a minute.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Stop saying that.
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: I will wax up.

- 1:08:17Speaker 11: the Olympics.
- 1:08:18Speaker 8: I just found out.
- 1:08:19Speaker 11: And y'all aint gonna believe this.
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:08:20Speaker 11: First of all, they got surfing. Surfing now is an
- 1:08:23Speaker 11: Olympic sport? What surfing?
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: What if the wave don't come in?
- 1:08:27Speaker 11: I was saying, we're a parent, Where are you gonna
- 1:08:29Speaker 11: get the waves from? What are you gonna do it?
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: It's an ocean in parents?
- 1:08:32Speaker 11: How do you even know the water way with the
- 1:08:35Speaker 11: water is they gonna generate it? How they're gonna do it.
- 1:08:37Speaker 11: I don't know what surfing is a sport. Skateboarding is
- 1:08:42Speaker 11: now an Olympic sport.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Wow, wow, I did not know that'll be interesting.
- 1:08:47Speaker 17: Skateboarding gonna be an Olympic sport. Then they got another one,
- 1:08:51Speaker 17: sport climbing. It's like the kin of rocks, real fast.
- 1:08:54Speaker 11: Just it's a sport now. Oh wow, Yeah, I don't
- 1:08:57Speaker 11: know what they're gonna do.
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: That thing that used to be at work out, that's
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: that's it's a sport.
- 1:09:02Speaker 11: Now, yeah, it's a sports sport.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Point you can get a gold medal.
- 1:09:06Speaker 11: So rock climb, I mean, it's just sports plot and
- 1:09:08Speaker 11: you get gold medal. But here the one that threw me.
- 1:09:11Speaker 17: I don't know how this is gonna work at the Olympics,
- 1:09:13Speaker 17: but it is now an Olympics port.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Break dancing, Get.
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: Out of your way.
- 1:09:19Speaker 17: Breakdancing seriously, seriously, breakdancing is not an Olympics port. I
- 1:09:24Speaker 17: don't know how you're gonna do this. I don't know
- 1:09:26Speaker 17: how we judge this. I have no idea, but I
- 1:09:29Speaker 17: don't know what what what are they gonna commentate? On
- 1:09:31Speaker 17: Oh my god, look at the transition to the pop loot.
- 1:09:33Speaker 17: Look at the it's gonna pop. Oh my god, what
- 1:09:38Speaker 17: is that the robot? What are we gonna be saying
- 1:09:41Speaker 17: at the breakdancing and they're judging on outfits is a
- 1:09:44Speaker 17: unit based So it's just gonna be interested. I'm gonna
- 1:09:47Speaker 17: watch breakdancing this Olympics that I'm gonna have to see
- 1:09:50Speaker 17: this because you know, if we lose in this and
- 1:09:53Speaker 17: we started breakdancing, I'm gonna be highly mad at the America.
- 1:09:56Speaker 11: We started breakdancing and we lost. We came in fifth.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: We can't do this, all right, Let's just.
- 1:10:02Speaker 11: See what happens.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: I don't know, no, because you know it might be us.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: No Asians they can oh all right, yeah.
- 1:10:15Speaker 14: Coming up at the top of the hour, man on
- 1:10:17Speaker 14: social media need some advice about how do I get
- 1:10:20Speaker 14: my roommate to control his porn habit.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening.
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: Morning show.
- 1:10:29Speaker 14: All right, So guys, this is from BJ on Steve
- 1:10:32Speaker 14: Harvey FM. BJ says, my roommate has a porn habit
- 1:10:35Speaker 14: that seems to be unapologetically proud of. He seems to
- 1:10:39Speaker 14: be unapologetically proud of it. At any moment of any day,
- 1:10:43Speaker 14: you can hear the volume turned up on his bedroom
- 1:10:46Speaker 14: computer or television with his adult entertainment blaring for all
- 1:10:50Speaker 14: to hear. He says, I'm not a prude and I
- 1:10:53Speaker 14: don't care what he does with his own time. But
- 1:10:55Speaker 14: it gets a little awkward when I have friends and
- 1:10:57Speaker 14: family over and have to explain what those sex noises
- 1:11:00Speaker 14: are coming from the down the hall. I've tried to
- 1:11:04Speaker 14: address this with him, but he just thinks it's funny.
- 1:11:07Speaker 14: Aside from moving out. Is there anything else I can
- 1:11:10Speaker 14: do about this? Is there anything?
- 1:11:13Speaker 24: Curtis my mama here, man turn that down, dog my
- 1:11:19Speaker 24: mama here, Curtage curass my mama.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Here's crazy.
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: He talked to him about it. Yeah, we got to
- 1:11:36Speaker 9: have a little bit more respect for the house. Come
- 1:11:38Speaker 9: on that what you do in your room, it's in
- 1:11:40Speaker 9: your room, but you can't blasted where it's coming all
- 1:11:42Speaker 9: through the wall. It's carting my my people, and I
- 1:11:46Speaker 9: don't even want to have sex no more.
- 1:11:47Speaker 6: I keep hearing out the stuff.
- 1:11:51Speaker 9: Hell, I'm tired.
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: This is just way too much right here.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's not as funny as you think it is.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: When people are over, other people are over.
- 1:11:59Speaker 17: Yeah, yeah or yeah, y'all gonna have to get some
- 1:12:03Speaker 17: Just put a bowl of earplugs at the dove when
- 1:12:05Speaker 17: they come in.
- 1:12:05Speaker 11: Just everybody puts on in because it's gonna get.
- 1:12:07Speaker 6: Loud, you know your guess.
- 1:12:09Speaker 17: Yeah, everybody, just grab you some had at some earplugs,
- 1:12:12Speaker 17: put them in, and let's sit down and talk.
- 1:12:14Speaker 11: And we're just not gonna hit this all.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Day because you are.
- 1:12:18Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:12:19Speaker 9: Yeah, that's us.
- 1:12:20Speaker 14: What so what? What?
- 1:12:29Speaker 13: What?
- 1:12:31Speaker 11: It's a lot crazyright.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: I say I have time for another one. Guys. This
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: is from Ronnie and Facebook.
- 1:12:37Speaker 14: Ronnie writes, Uh, since when is making a big deal
- 1:12:40Speaker 14: about my boss's birthday a job requirement. I've just been
- 1:12:43Speaker 14: informed by my co workers at my new job that
- 1:12:46Speaker 14: our boss expects a big deal to be made about
- 1:12:49Speaker 14: his birthday.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: The guy is almost sixty years old.
- 1:12:51Speaker 14: It's been implied to me that if we don't do
- 1:12:54Speaker 14: quote something, he'll hold it against us and indirectly punish
- 1:12:58Speaker 14: us with needless busy he works. It all seems pretty
- 1:13:01Speaker 14: childish to me, but I guess I have to ask,
- 1:13:04Speaker 14: what's the best thing to do for my boss's birthday
- 1:13:07Speaker 14: when you really don't care all that much and just
- 1:13:08Speaker 14: want to get your job done and get a paycheck.
- 1:13:13Speaker 9: For him. He didn't have fifty nine birthdays already. I'm
- 1:13:15Speaker 9: not gonna be celebrating this number.
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: That's not my job. Just to help you celebrate those sixties,
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: that's not my job.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: So you want to you want to get busy work.
- 1:13:24Speaker 14: You want to have busy work from your boss who
- 1:13:25Speaker 14: holds it against you if you don't celebrate him in
- 1:13:28Speaker 14: a big way.
- 1:13:30Speaker 9: Why is he putting these stipulations on us like this?
- 1:13:32Speaker 9: Why do we have to bow down to him and
- 1:13:34Speaker 9: his job, not him and his birthday? For what is
- 1:13:37Speaker 9: he celebrating our birthdays with us? When I was coming around,
- 1:13:39Speaker 9: he's the boss.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't care.
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: Nothing about him being about we got birthdays to he
- 1:13:43Speaker 6: gonna respect the hours. While he was like the same
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: as I. You can be you ain't doing nothing, but man,
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: we ain't doing nothing but.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: The unemployment line.
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: What else give me my b is your work. I'll
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: be over here being real.
- 1:13:55Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: Gift cars, work, gift.
- 1:13:59Speaker 17: Cars, star bus, get card that worked?
- 1:14:05Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: You want your check? Yeah I want to check Lloyd,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: but you want your check.
- 1:14:09Speaker 11: I'm not gonna pull a lot out of my check.
- 1:14:10Speaker 11: I'm gonna pull by ten dollars out of my check.
- 1:14:12Speaker 11: Do you did you give me the rest of my check?
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: I don't.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I'm not busy working his ass nothing. I'm not doing it.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: You're with Ronnie.
- 1:14:23Speaker 14: Ronnie doesn't want to do it, but I mean it's
- 1:14:26Speaker 14: a new job for him, and his coworkers have said
- 1:14:29Speaker 14: the bus gets really upset if they don't make a
- 1:14:31Speaker 14: big deal out of this.
- 1:14:32Speaker 17: Coffee mods work, coffee mud, coffee mud. I'm the boss
- 1:14:37Speaker 17: on the coffee mug. That'd be cool something like that.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: That's gonna take a lot out of you.
- 1:14:42Speaker 11: That's how I take a lot out of check.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Like how much a cup?
- 1:14:45Speaker 9: Cows?
- 1:14:45Speaker 6: Would you? How much do a cup?
- 1:14:47Speaker 9: Call?
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: How much?
- 1:14:48Speaker 13: Did you?
- 1:14:51Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 1:14:52Speaker 9: I'm saying you can do like ten dollars. We're gonna
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: get him ten dollars. What why is we giving him
- 1:15:01Speaker 9: ten dollars?
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show chief. People I work with right.
- 1:15:08Speaker 12: After this your black job, they got some paper.
- 1:15:12Speaker 10: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: All right, So tell me.
- 1:15:18Speaker 14: I don't know if you know this but yet, but
- 1:15:20Speaker 14: yesterday was National tattoo Day. It was national I had.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Mad I had all you did, you did, you celebrated,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: you celebrated.
- 1:15:28Speaker 14: We know you all my tattoo sleeve on your arm
- 1:15:33Speaker 14: like you're a rapper or something. Really it's big, huh.
- 1:15:40Speaker 14: Tattoos are a form of expression. So I mean you
- 1:15:44Speaker 14: plan on getting more?
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: What's happening?
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: No?
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: No, I think that's it for me. I started with
- 1:15:51Speaker 6: this cancer ribbon. That's why I.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Started to cancer survivor.
- 1:15:55Speaker 9: Yeah, cancer survivor. So I started with this cancer ribbon.
- 1:15:58Speaker 9: And then I think the middle crisis kicked in and
- 1:16:01Speaker 9: I lost my whole mind. Yeah, and just just just
- 1:16:05Speaker 9: start drawing all over the arms. So I got the
- 1:16:07Speaker 9: whole sleep but it's it's it's all tribal is. And
- 1:16:11Speaker 9: then I got the theater faces, the comedy tragedy faces
- 1:16:14Speaker 9: on my shoulders. So yeah, it's it's everything that I'm good.
- 1:16:18Speaker 12: I ain't got nothing else, Carl, you have any No,
- 1:16:21Speaker 12: I want to get one. We're supposed to get a
- 1:16:22Speaker 12: family tattooed, but I'm screwed.
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: Yeah you can get that though, call you knock it
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: out and knocked that out in the hour.
- 1:16:32Speaker 11: I ain't got that tattoo, not one, now.
- 1:16:34Speaker 9: Said.
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: You know, you know you can tattoo some hal if
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: you wanted to.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Baby all right, thank you guy. Coming up in thirty
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour, we'll play around. Would you
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: rather right after this get you some birthday hair boy?
- 1:17:00Speaker 10: You're listening Morning show.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: It is time now for a round it.
- 1:17:05Speaker 14: Would you rather, all right, guys, would you rather have
- 1:17:07Speaker 14: an incredibly annoying high pitched voice or a deep bass voice?
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Oops?
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: I don't know who you know, I don't know.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Who wrote them, but nothing personal. Yeah, I'm gonna have.
- 1:17:23Speaker 11: I'm gonna go ahead and have the deep bass voice.
- 1:17:26Speaker 11: Then that's what I want? And why so that's the
- 1:17:30Speaker 11: one I want.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: I ain't said I got it.
- 1:17:31Speaker 9: That's the one I want.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Okay, we know you? Yes, let us let us hear
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: how deep your voice? This is your day?
- 1:17:41Speaker 11: It is I'm telling you all right now, it's my birthday.
- 1:17:44Speaker 11: It's my birthday. It's my birthday. Telling y'all right.
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: Now, that's that's not you.
- 1:17:51Speaker 11: That's what I worry about it. I'm going with an
- 1:17:57Speaker 11: hell move on?
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Would you rather be funny but really stupid?
- 1:18:04Speaker 13: Oh?
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: Sorry?
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Or boring?
- 1:18:07Speaker 11: They talking to some person.
- 1:18:11Speaker 9: Somebody that got personal of to day on the team. Okay,
- 1:18:15Speaker 9: come on, took the pen and got real person.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Say it again.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Funny and stupid or boring but smart, funny and stupid.
- 1:18:24Speaker 9: I gotta, I got, I gotta. I gotta go with
- 1:18:26Speaker 9: funny and stupid.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: You got that's who you are, it's not.
- 1:18:36Speaker 6: Stupid.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, funny and stupid.
- 1:18:40Speaker 17: No, I'm Tommy funny and stupid. I'm just gonna watch
- 1:18:42Speaker 17: him and just be really smart and boring.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:18:48Speaker 14: Would you rather have your name tattooed on your forehead
- 1:18:53Speaker 14: or no front teeth?
- 1:18:55Speaker 17: When you might as well just get ready to read men,
- 1:19:00Speaker 17: We'll go ahead and get ready to read me.
- 1:19:03Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:19:06Speaker 9: I guess it's another test I'm getting because I'm not teeth.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: I don't know what now. I gotta have your teeth right,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: all right? Would you rather it be summer forever or
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: winter forever?
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: Can I do summer without the hurricane? Can I do that?
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: Can I no summer and summer? Where you are?
- 1:19:24Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm gonna do summer forever.
- 1:19:28Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean I can't have autumn, fall, summer, winter,
- 1:19:33Speaker 9: it's longest.
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: I'm going with some.
- 1:19:35Speaker 9: I gotta go with summer, yeah, because I.
- 1:19:38Speaker 11: Like naked, I'm gonna go with summer.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you gotta go with summer.
- 1:19:44Speaker 11: Yeah, I ain't no choice for me.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: Yeah, all right? Would you rather be a kid your
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: whole life? Or would you rather be an adult your
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: whole life? Kid?
- 1:19:53Speaker 11: I was just come, just grown, just be boring grown?
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, because you're only a kid for a small
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: amount of time.
- 1:20:02Speaker 9: Really you forever no responsibilities. Take care of your moment
- 1:20:09Speaker 9: day play real like relight hale, see hangle, get it?
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: All right, that's today's rounded. Would you rather? Guys?
- 1:20:16Speaker 14: Coming up at forty nine minutes after last breakup? The
- 1:20:19Speaker 14: day will close out the show right after this.
- 1:20:22Speaker 6: I want some ladies.
- 1:20:26Speaker 14: You're listening hard morning show? All right, guys, here we
- 1:20:30Speaker 14: are last break of the day on this Thursday. This
- 1:20:33Speaker 14: week is rolling by. First I thought it was slow,
- 1:20:36Speaker 14: now it's getting fast. But it's been a good day.
- 1:20:40Speaker 14: It's been a good day, all right, Steve.
- 1:20:44Speaker 7: You know, I guess I'm gonna kind of stay in, uh,
- 1:20:50Speaker 7: the mode of motivation because I want to inspire people
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: because you know, look, I think so many people can
- 1:21:01Speaker 7: get so discouraged by so many different things. I mean,
- 1:21:07Speaker 7: you know, for some it seems like bigger items than others.
- 1:21:12Speaker 7: But you know, it's all in perspective. It all depends
- 1:21:15Speaker 7: on the amount of experience you have in life, on
- 1:21:17Speaker 7: how well you handle setbacks and trials and tribulations.
- 1:21:21Speaker 8: So it's all relative.
- 1:21:24Speaker 7: When you see a person that's thinking about giving up
- 1:21:27Speaker 7: for a lesser reason than you would, it doesn't make
- 1:21:31Speaker 7: that reason not valid.
- 1:21:33Speaker 8: It's very valid.
- 1:21:34Speaker 7: It's just they may not have the experience with grapping
- 1:21:37Speaker 7: or coping with situations like you. But I want to
- 1:21:41Speaker 7: say something to everybody that's on their road to success.
- 1:21:46Speaker 7: It is a tough road. It is a tough road.
- 1:21:50Speaker 7: It is a difficult journey. It is not easy to
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: become successful. It's just not And I think think when
- 1:22:00Speaker 7: people start running up into those obstacles, it's easy to say, wow,
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: this is really hard and give up and quit.
- 1:22:09Speaker 8: But I want to tell you something.
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: See, whenever God is about to do something great for you,
- 1:22:18Speaker 7: I found that in those moments, the devil is also
- 1:22:23Speaker 7: aware of your future too. He sees when God is
- 1:22:29Speaker 7: doing great things in your life, and he sees when
- 1:22:32Speaker 7: God is blessing you. His job is to rob you
- 1:22:36Speaker 7: of that destiny to get to where God has ordained
- 1:22:41Speaker 7: or planned for you to be. So what he does
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: is when he looks into your future and he sees
- 1:22:46Speaker 7: that God is about to do something big for you,
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: he throws at you the opposition.
- 1:22:54Speaker 8: Have you noticed.
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: That it comes from people I thought you were cool
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: with that. It comes from people that you've done so
- 1:23:05Speaker 7: much for that. It comes out of the side, out
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: of the bushes, almost out of a dark hallway.
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: You just gonna where did that come from? Why they tripping?
- 1:23:16Speaker 8: After all I did?
- 1:23:17Speaker 7: It always seems like it comes out of nowhere, because
- 1:23:22Speaker 7: that's one of the devil's best tricks. He tries to
- 1:23:24Speaker 7: blindside you with it. And the more hurtful he can
- 1:23:28Speaker 7: be towards you, the more he can throw you off
- 1:23:30Speaker 7: the course. So he presents, of course, people that you know,
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: you care about, that you thought was your friends, that
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: you thought was all right with you, And it comes
- 1:23:38Speaker 7: from that angle right there. What I'm saying is, on
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: this journey to success, be prepared for opposition because it's
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: going to come.
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: It is a part of the process.
- 1:23:51Speaker 7: None of us will get to where we want to
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: be in life without going through the process. Now you
- 1:23:58Speaker 7: know how you hear motivational speakers talking and you hear
- 1:24:01Speaker 7: the audience member go oh, that's good. That's good, that's good,
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: and they start writing on it. Oh I like that,
- 1:24:06Speaker 7: or the preacher be talking and go, oh, that's good,
- 1:24:08Speaker 7: that's good. That's good, that's good. You know, people get
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: inspired by that. I guess I'm the same way as
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: anybody else. But when I talk to people about success,
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: I try to make it instead of good, I try
- 1:24:21Speaker 7: to make it understandable. I try to get you to
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: grab this thing that I'm talking to you about in
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: the simplest form of fashion, so you can move on
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: with it. I'm just saying this to you as plain
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: as I can. On your road to success. The devil
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: gonna throw the obstacles at you. Every time something good
- 1:24:40Speaker 7: is coming your way, they got to throw something bad
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: at your way. Something's happening in my life right now
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: to try to throw out my progress.
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: But I'm aware of it now.
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: I don't mean that that that's easy, And it doesn't
- 1:24:52Speaker 7: mean that because I'm aware of it, I know how to.
- 1:24:54Speaker 8: Cope with it better I do. But it still bothers me.
- 1:24:58Speaker 7: It still bothers me to say somebody that I did
- 1:25:01Speaker 7: so much for can turn so easily because they see
- 1:25:05Speaker 7: a buck and they.
- 1:25:07Speaker 6: Can turn.
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: But you know what I've also learned about this road
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: to success. God don't put more on you than you
- 1:25:14Speaker 7: can bath. Do you know sometimes that you're going through
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: stuff not only to show you something, but to teach
- 1:25:22Speaker 7: the person that's around you a lesson too? Do you
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: know that God uses your strength to teach the weaker
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: or the evil a lesson through you?
- 1:25:33Speaker 9: Have you ever noticed that?
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: I don't know if you have.
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: That's a hard one to come to the realization that
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: you're going through something and you're not enjoying it, but
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: it's gonna teach the person that's trying to do something
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: to you. They fin to learn a real valuable lesson.
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: It's gonna cost you a little bit, but God already
- 1:25:50Speaker 7: know you got to strift to handle it because he'd
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: have done so many things with you and for you
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: throughout the years. He knows you can handle it, so
- 1:25:57Speaker 7: he allows things to happen to you. But He's also
- 1:26:00Speaker 7: gonna show that person that's.
- 1:26:02Speaker 9: Trying to do you.
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: He gonna show him something, He gonna teach him a
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: valuable lesson. You're just a vessel to get it done,
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: but you'll use that way because you're strong enough. So
- 1:26:12Speaker 7: in this case, I have to remember that about myself,
- 1:26:14Speaker 7: but I also want you to remember it about yourself
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: that you are strong, that everything you've ever gone through,
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: every hardship, every struggling moment. Like I always say, your
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: track record for surviving hardship and struggling moments, your track
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: record for surviving that is one hundred percent. That's pretty
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: good track record, y'all. So all you got to do
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: is keep on waking up, keep on believing, keep on praying,
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: keep on working, and you're gonna get through that too,
- 1:26:43Speaker 7: just like me. And at the end of the day,
- 1:26:46Speaker 7: the person is trying to do you the most harm.
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: Be careful when you dig a grade. You might have
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: to dig too or you might end up in that
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: hole yourself. You got to be careful. Remember that.
- 1:26:57Speaker 13: God.
- 1:26:57Speaker 6: Have a great day.
