- 2:07Speaker 3: digny now one and only Steve Harvey Man got a
- 2:10Speaker 3: radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Wow man, how good has God been to me?
- 2:14Speaker 3: You know?
- 2:14Speaker 4: Today?
- 2:15Speaker 3: Let me get right to it, because I'm kind of
- 2:18Speaker 3: feeling this today, and I'm pretty sure there's quite a
- 2:21Speaker 3: few of you who go through the same things today.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Today was just a little tough mourning for me because
- 2:29Speaker 3: I didn't want to leave home yesterday. You know, I
- 2:31Speaker 3: wanted to stay home a little. I had just gotten home,
- 2:34Speaker 3: you know, I gotta go again. And sometimes, you know,
- 2:38Speaker 3: just the weight of all that you have to do
- 2:40Speaker 3: just gets on you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel
- 2:44Speaker 3: like doing it today.
- 2:47Speaker 5: Huh.
- 2:48Speaker 3: You know, I'm just talking to those who feel this
- 2:50Speaker 3: way every now and then, and I'm assuming that would
- 2:53Speaker 3: be everybody, because I don't know nobody who can just
- 2:56Speaker 3: plow through this thing without having those days.
- 3:00Speaker 4: What do you do.
- 3:02Speaker 3: When it gets hard to stay up? What do you
- 3:05Speaker 3: do when it gets hard to be positive? What do
- 3:09Speaker 3: you do when it seems like things aren't happening for
- 3:13Speaker 3: you fast enough or in the timeframe that you thought
- 3:16Speaker 3: it was going.
- 3:16Speaker 4: What do you do?
- 3:19Speaker 3: And the reason that I guess I chose to speak
- 3:21Speaker 3: about this this morning is because I'm having one of
- 3:24Speaker 3: those days.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Because I had one of those days yesterday.
- 3:28Speaker 3: It's just a tough day. I really can't explain it.
- 3:30Speaker 3: It's nothing really in particular bad happened. It's just I
- 3:35Speaker 3: think the weight of all that's going on started to
- 3:42Speaker 3: feel heavy to me. And so what do you do
- 3:47Speaker 3: when you when you have days like that, when it's
- 3:50Speaker 3: hard to be positive, when it's hard to stay up? Okay,
- 3:53Speaker 3: here's what I had to start doing this morning. Now
- 3:55Speaker 3: I haven't completed it. Can I just be real with you.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I haven't completed it, but I am processing it out
- 4:04Speaker 3: because I know what to do. You know, been there,
- 4:07Speaker 3: done that, I done, had that pain before.
- 4:09Speaker 4: I know what to do.
- 4:09Speaker 3: You know, if I sprang my finger, I know what
- 4:11Speaker 3: to do now. You know the first spring I had,
- 4:14Speaker 3: Oh Lord, I thought it was broke. I thought i'd
- 4:16Speaker 3: go be handicapped. But now if I spray my finger,
- 4:19Speaker 3: I know what to do. So since I've been in
- 4:21Speaker 3: this position, in this hole so many times before and
- 4:24Speaker 3: God has always gotten me through it, I decided I've
- 4:27Speaker 3: got to start the process today. Want to here are
- 4:30Speaker 3: some things now, I'm going to get to the big
- 4:34Speaker 3: one last. And one of the things I do is
- 4:38Speaker 3: I remember the plan, sit down, and I consciously think
- 4:43Speaker 3: about the goals I've set. I go over them. See,
- 4:46Speaker 3: I've gotten mine down on the iPad so I can
- 4:49Speaker 3: pull them out anywhere I am and pull them up.
- 4:52Speaker 3: And I've got two lists that I've made. I've got
- 4:55Speaker 3: a list of things that I know I can accomplish
- 4:58Speaker 3: if I just keep working hard and if it's some
- 5:01Speaker 3: couple of things just fall into place that I can see.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Then I got a list of things that I'm planning
- 5:07Speaker 3: on accomplishing. And then I have a second list. And
- 5:11Speaker 3: the heading of this list is called only God can
- 5:14Speaker 3: help me now. And on this list it's things that
- 5:18Speaker 3: I'm aspiring for or things that I'm hoping to that
- 5:22Speaker 3: in order for them to happen, I absolutely have to
- 5:26Speaker 3: have God's help. That's my favorite list. It's the list
- 5:32Speaker 3: that I have of the things that I don't see
- 5:36Speaker 3: no way it can happen. I'm just operating on faith
- 5:40Speaker 3: and the hope that God hear me, and so sometimes, man,
- 5:45Speaker 3: when you got to when I have this list of
- 5:48Speaker 3: what only God can help me, now that list is stuff.
- 5:52Speaker 4: That I cannot see.
- 5:54Speaker 3: I'm just operating on faith that God is so much
- 5:57Speaker 3: bigger than me, that he's so much more capable than
- 6:00Speaker 3: I am, that I can actually acquire some things in
- 6:04Speaker 3: my life, as he's proven to me time and time
- 6:06Speaker 3: again up to this point, that He's willing to do
- 6:09Speaker 3: for me. If I'm willing to just give him some
- 6:11Speaker 3: of my life. That's only why I can explain my
- 6:14Speaker 3: existence today. You know, I began the conversation with my wife,
- 6:20Speaker 3: how do I write a book that becomes so wildly successful?
- 6:24Speaker 4: That would be God.
- 6:26Speaker 3: That's only God, Because if you can plan to sit
- 6:29Speaker 3: down and write a wildly successful book, I'd have been done,
- 6:32Speaker 3: set down and did it, and so would you, So
- 6:35Speaker 3: that would be God. How it got purchased to become
- 6:39Speaker 3: a movie. When that was not my intent when I
- 6:41Speaker 3: wrote the book at all. Again, that would be God
- 6:46Speaker 3: right there. It has to be, because if I can't
- 6:49Speaker 3: explain it and it is by no doing of my own,
- 6:52Speaker 3: then who did it? So when I get down in
- 6:55Speaker 3: days like this, I remember the goal. I remember the plan.
- 7:00Speaker 3: I remember the journey. I think about all the things
- 7:03Speaker 3: God has brought me through. How did I even get
- 7:05Speaker 3: to this point? Yeah, I might be having a little
- 7:07Speaker 3: Bama of a day. Yeah I was a little down yesterday.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Yeah, my bio.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Rhythms is off, whatever they want to call it. Yeah,
- 7:13Speaker 3: I'm just having one of those days. I feel a
- 7:15Speaker 3: little bit heavy. I need a vacation real bad. I
- 7:18Speaker 3: need some time off to just go and regenerate. But
- 7:22Speaker 3: right now, man, I ain't got that. So guess what
- 7:24Speaker 3: I do. I gotta start remembering the plan. I gotta
- 7:27Speaker 3: start remembering the goals. I gotta start thinking about all
- 7:31Speaker 3: the things that God has done for me and how
- 7:33Speaker 3: He has brought me this far, and the blessings that
- 7:35Speaker 3: I have instead of what I don't have. And that's
- 7:38Speaker 3: what I'm in the process of doing this morning, And
- 7:40Speaker 3: on the commercial breaks, I'm gonna pull out my iPad
- 7:43Speaker 3: and I'm gonna go over my two lists, and I'm
- 7:45Speaker 3: gonna read my little list of what I think I
- 7:47Speaker 3: can accomplish, and I'm gonna really read that only God
- 7:50Speaker 3: can Help Me Now list, because that's the list that's big.
- 7:53Speaker 3: That's the part where I've been telling y'all, I say,
- 7:55Speaker 3: quit telling God how big your problems are, and start
- 7:59Speaker 3: telling and your problems how big your God is.
- 8:02Speaker 4: See.
- 8:03Speaker 3: And that's what I got to sit down and do
- 8:04Speaker 3: this morning. And then sometimes, man, you got to stay still.
- 8:09Speaker 3: That's the other part. You got to stay still. You
- 8:13Speaker 3: gotta quit moving for a second, because sometimes it feels
- 8:17Speaker 3: like you're running on a treadmill and you really ain't
- 8:20Speaker 3: you going somewhere, but it feel like you're running on
- 8:22Speaker 3: a treadmill. Well, when you get that feeling, sometimes you
- 8:26Speaker 3: got to stay still. And then when you stay still,
- 8:29Speaker 3: sometimes you gotta fight to stay positive. Sometimes you gotta
- 8:33Speaker 3: fight not to let the devil win. You're in a fight, mam.
- 8:35Speaker 4: I told you this. Now you're in a fight now.
- 8:38Speaker 3: So he trying to get you to get on that
- 8:39Speaker 3: positive train so he can get you off the faith train.
- 8:43Speaker 3: So God's delivery package that's coming to you built on
- 8:45Speaker 3: your faith, that you can shake your faith and get
- 8:48Speaker 3: you to thinking negative and then he wins. See, so
- 8:51Speaker 3: when you start feeling negative, just know that that's the
- 8:54Speaker 3: other force trying to throw you off track. And when
- 8:56Speaker 3: you get through it all that he is the key
- 8:58Speaker 3: to big One. You want me to tell it to you.
- 9:00Speaker 3: You got to pray, man, You got to pray. You
- 9:03Speaker 3: got to take it to God. You got to say God,
- 9:05Speaker 3: look I'm having one of these days. I need your help.
- 9:08Speaker 3: I got business to take care of. You got blessings
- 9:10Speaker 3: in front of me. You got stuff you don ship
- 9:12Speaker 3: to me. You got blessings and packages that's on the way.
- 9:15Speaker 3: I need to be sitting on Faith streets so I
- 9:17Speaker 3: can receive the delivery when it gets there. What I
- 9:20Speaker 3: don't want to do is be it be undoubted way
- 9:24Speaker 3: or lack of understanding parkway, or pity parkway or some
- 9:30Speaker 3: street like that, and the package keep going by. I
- 9:33Speaker 3: need to be standing and sitting on Faith Street, so
- 9:36Speaker 3: when you drop that package down to me, I can
- 9:38Speaker 3: go on and get it.
- 9:39Speaker 4: You feel me.
- 9:40Speaker 3: You got to pray. You got to stay still, You
- 9:43Speaker 3: gotta fight to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan.
- 9:46Speaker 3: You got to go over the goals. Come on, man,
- 9:48Speaker 3: God and brought you too far? Come on, pick yourself
- 9:51Speaker 3: up today. I'm talking to Steve Varvy this morning, and

- 10:09Speaker 3: grateful I am. Man, I just want you to join
- 10:11Speaker 3: in with that. Then you ain't got to be grateful
- 10:13Speaker 3: to me. I'm talking about to God Almighty to give
- 10:16Speaker 3: us all good things. Why don't you just say thank you, man,
- 10:19Speaker 3: appreciate it if you can learn how to thank him
- 10:23Speaker 3: in the middle of the storm. I can't tell you
- 10:26Speaker 3: the blessings you could receive from that, you know, I'm
- 10:30Speaker 3: just not really understanding that part of it be truthful,
- 10:33Speaker 3: which but boys show is helpful to thank him and
- 10:36Speaker 3: to realize that he's.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Working on your behalf. He's in rooms. You ain't even
- 10:40Speaker 4: been here yet. Man. Won't he do it? Junior? Won't
- 10:45Speaker 4: he do it?

- 11:09Speaker 6: You know, uncle, let's talk about accountability.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Uh you ever met some people, uncle, ain't never Their
- 11:14Speaker 1: fault is always your.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Hey, Junior, they online right now preach the it's people
- 11:23Speaker 3: online right now mad at everybody by talking about what
- 11:28Speaker 3: they did. But you got to take accountability for what
- 11:33Speaker 3: your actions are. You know something, man, it would serve
- 11:37Speaker 3: all of us if we would learn one thing. Just
- 11:41Speaker 3: ask for forgiveness, man, Just say you sorry so you
- 11:47Speaker 3: can just get a get a reset. Look, I made
- 11:50Speaker 3: a mistake, you know, I wish I had never. I
- 11:53Speaker 3: don't know what I was thinking about, but I want
- 11:55Speaker 3: to send you an apology. Just say, look, I know you.
- 12:00Speaker 3: They may not be ready to forgive me yet, but
- 12:02Speaker 3: one day I hope you will just forgive me. Man,
- 12:05Speaker 3: I was just wrong. I'm sorry. Man, I'm finna go
- 12:08Speaker 3: get myself together.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 12:10Speaker 3: People don't do that no more because you know why, man,
- 12:14Speaker 3: they're so busy putting all their business online. They don't
- 12:17Speaker 3: want no, they don't want to admit today wrong online.
- 12:20Speaker 3: They don't want to. You very rarely see a person
- 12:24Speaker 3: online with an admission of guilt. The majority of things
- 12:28Speaker 3: online is an accusation. The majority of it. Very rarely
- 12:33Speaker 3: do you see somebody on there apologizing all these clicks.
- 12:36Speaker 4: And it's a good thing we got.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Phone cameras because every now and then you saw you
- 12:40Speaker 3: sw the aggressor getting instant calm. I'm talking about these
- 12:45Speaker 3: two white dudes jumped on this black dude in this
- 12:48Speaker 3: driveway and boy, let me tell you something.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Bruh Man was handling I'm talking about.

- 13:07Speaker 3: was handing his business. But you know, but other than that,
- 13:11Speaker 3: the online is full of accusations. If you would just say,
- 13:14Speaker 3: I'm sorry, but you know I had them two dudes said, hey, look,
- 13:19Speaker 3: I called you the end word.
- 13:20Speaker 4: I'm sorry, but he didn't.

- 25:04Speaker 7: couldn't do that because if the tables returned. He wouldn't
- 25:07Speaker 7: let me do that. He stopped calling me. Was I
- 25:10Speaker 7: wrong for not letting him stay over?
- 25:13Speaker 4: Well, you have every right to set the bounds of
- 25:16Speaker 4: your house.

- 26:18Speaker 4: Quick called it's cash what you wanted to be to
- 26:23Speaker 4: get to the gym? Do you have a problem?
- 26:25Speaker 3: What what?

- 27:05Speaker 7: her friends, and the girls spoke to me, but didn't
- 27:09Speaker 7: speak to my wife. I didn't notice it. My wife
- 27:12Speaker 7: went off on me for speaking to her. I had
- 27:15Speaker 7: no idea that they were beefing. How do I let
- 27:18Speaker 7: my wife know? I'm always on her team?
- 27:22Speaker 4: Hey, look, I didn't know y'all was beefing. She spoke
- 27:25Speaker 4: to me, I spoke back, Yeah, but we didn't let
- 27:32Speaker 4: me know who we don't like.
- 27:33Speaker 7: You couldn't tell when she didn't speak to me and
- 27:35Speaker 7: she just spoke to you, You couldn't tell, mister.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Saw you.
- 27:42Speaker 4: I'm right here, saw you, grown women? What just tell
- 27:53Speaker 4: me who we don't like?
- 27:54Speaker 3: So I know?
- 27:57Speaker 4: Well, yeah, okay, yeah, get her on the phone right
- 28:05Speaker 4: now so I can tell her. Don't speak to me.
- 28:07Speaker 3: No, if y'all become friends again, I'm not speaking to
- 28:15Speaker 3: That's what changed.
- 28:17Speaker 1: When you die and come back to.
- 28:21Speaker 6: In heaven?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Got it? Smart man?
- 28:28Speaker 4: Smart man on this show.
- 28:30Speaker 6: But how did he not notice that the woman didn't
- 28:32Speaker 6: speak to her?
- 28:33Speaker 3: Chie Shirley, Yes, because we don't have to pay attention
- 28:37Speaker 3: to that stuff like that. Y'all got some little petty
- 28:40Speaker 3: squabble going on. We ain't know nothing about it y'all
- 28:43Speaker 3: being friends. The lady spoke to me. I spoke to her. Now,
- 28:48Speaker 3: how I'm posting?
- 28:48Speaker 6: No, okay, pay attention, yeah, just pay attention. Yeah you're
- 28:53Speaker 6: with your wife.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, but don't paying attention to you because you're hungry.
- 28:57Speaker 4: I'm looking for food. Hey, how you doing? Look what restaurant?
- 29:00Speaker 3: Wait?
- 29:00Speaker 1: She didn't speak to me. What did you fix your
- 29:03Speaker 1: mouth for to say?
- 29:04Speaker 5: Hey?
- 29:04Speaker 4: Hello? Okay, I'll give you a prime example. Come on,
- 29:07Speaker 4: come on in the house.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Me and Marjorie used to live on that. Y'all used
- 29:11Speaker 3: to come over on Jeff Ferry. We walked a lot
- 29:14Speaker 3: in the morning. The couple stay next to us, as
- 29:16Speaker 3: old German couple. The man is cool. The woman is
- 29:20Speaker 3: the most hateful, racist woman I've ever met. We're walking now.
- 29:25Speaker 3: She ain't spoke to us in a while. We're walking.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Her husband says, hey, Steve.
- 29:31Speaker 4: How you doing it? I said, hey, man, what's happening?
- 29:35Speaker 4: She told her husband don't speak to them, he said
- 29:39Speaker 4: in front of y'all. Nothing to me.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I could hear it. Oh wow, Margie say, I
- 29:45Speaker 3: can't believe he spoke. I say, because the ain't nothing
- 29:47Speaker 3: wrong with him, and you spoke back to him.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Yeah, what what not? No, not to say nothing to
- 29:52Speaker 4: brune Hilda, but him. He spoke, He said, hey, Steve,
- 29:58Speaker 4: what's happening? I said, hey, man, how you doing? They
- 29:59Speaker 4: old too?
- 30:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's different.
- 30:02Speaker 7: Yeah, because if a guy came up and just spoke
- 30:05Speaker 7: to you and didn't speak to your wife, you'd be
- 30:07Speaker 7: fine with that, whether you guys were beefing or not.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Right right, you.
- 30:13Speaker 3: On her?
- 30:13Speaker 4: Just talk to her? Hey, Margie, what's that if we
- 30:17Speaker 4: ain't cool? Well, first of all, I don't know nobody
- 30:19Speaker 4: gonna do that to me.
- 30:20Speaker 6: So it's a fight. We know it's a fight.
- 30:24Speaker 4: All right.
- 30:24Speaker 7: Thank you, Bilo. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 30:27Speaker 7: We will have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:31Speaker 6: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:38Speaker 7: Well, yesterday morning, US Secret Service agents and a Palm
- 30:41Speaker 7: Beach County deputy shot and killed an armed intruder who
- 30:45Speaker 7: breached the security perimeter at mar A Lago in Palm Beach, Florida,
- 30:50Speaker 7: where President Trump resides. He and First Lady Milania were
- 30:53Speaker 7: in DC when the incident occurred. The intruder is identified
- 30:57Speaker 7: as Austin Tucker Martin, a twenty one year ye rolled
- 31:00Speaker 7: man from North Carolina. He was armed with a shotgun
- 31:04Speaker 7: and had a can of gas in his possession. After
- 31:07Speaker 7: refusing to drop his weapon, Martin was fatally shot. The
- 31:11Speaker 7: investigation into this tragic event will be led by the FBI.
- 31:16Speaker 7: The Secret Service agents will be on administrative leave during
- 31:19Speaker 7: the investigation.
- 31:23Speaker 3: So yeah, wow, this is the same FBI that's investigating
- 31:27Speaker 3: the Epstein files.
- 31:29Speaker 6: The very one.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, oh, they'll get to this quickly. They just
- 31:35Speaker 3: anything except Epstein. They'll do this, no fouble.
- 31:41Speaker 4: I'm at the Epstein's files. Is just like you know,
- 31:48Speaker 4: I knew they would do anything but allow.
- 31:55Speaker 3: People to get away with the rape and the sex
- 32:00Speaker 3: trafficking of young girls children.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Wow, that one. That one that's all for me.
- 32:10Speaker 7: It really is to just brush it off like it
- 32:13Speaker 7: never happened, like it's unimportant, Like we shouldn't be outraged.
- 32:18Speaker 7: As you know, so many people are like we're crazy
- 32:21Speaker 7: because we're outraged.
- 32:22Speaker 6: Let's move on that kind of thing.
- 32:24Speaker 4: But but but let me tell you something.
- 32:26Speaker 3: They ran on exposing it and bringing everybody down until
- 32:33Speaker 3: they found out how many times Trump was in there,
- 32:37Speaker 3: and now all of a sudden they can't find him
- 32:39Speaker 3: in there. Nowhere well, he's in a lot of that
- 32:43Speaker 3: stuff that's called redacted, which means blacked out. Yes, and
- 32:48Speaker 3: then there's three million files they didn't released. I mean, look, man,
- 32:51Speaker 3: and all these victims to hear, so I don't you
- 32:56Speaker 3: know already didn't trust government and them, and now he's
- 33:00Speaker 3: just it's clear.
- 33:01Speaker 8: So right, like you said earlier, you know, not being
- 33:05Speaker 8: outraged by this predator type behavior and victims you know,
- 33:11Speaker 8: from these kinds of crimes.
- 33:13Speaker 1: This is why they don't come forward.
- 33:14Speaker 8: This is why because nothing's nothing's going to happen to
- 33:18Speaker 8: these people.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Nothing that's going to happen.
- 33:20Speaker 3: It's really sad, it's crazy, and supposedly this intruder.
- 33:27Speaker 6: That's what he was so upset about the Epstein files
- 33:31Speaker 6: at mar A Lago. Yeah, yeah, it really wasn't.
- 33:44Speaker 7: Moving on to t s A pre Check and Global Entry, well,
- 33:48Speaker 7: they've been officially suspended. As the partial government shut down
- 33:52Speaker 7: in Washington, Homeland Security announced that it is suspending the
- 33:56Speaker 7: program designed to move travelers.
- 33:58Speaker 6: Through the airport security faster.
- 34:01Speaker 7: So for the frequent flyers who have paid for TSA
- 34:04Speaker 7: pre Check and Global Entry convenience, those shorter lines, yeah,
- 34:09Speaker 7: may not be an option right now and travelers who
- 34:11Speaker 7: normally keep their shoes on and laptops in their bags
- 34:15Speaker 7: might be routed through standard security. T s A is
- 34:19Speaker 7: said to be evaluating operations now on a case to
- 34:22Speaker 7: case basis, so immediately it's right now, yeah officially.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And then they said, but they going back and forth
- 34:32Speaker 1: with now they say they.
- 34:33Speaker 8: Might be operational. It might be yeah, because people are like,
- 34:37Speaker 8: say what now. They reacted like.
- 34:38Speaker 6: Tommy, yeah, yeah, long long, long, long lines, get ready
- 34:49Speaker 6: for that.
- 34:50Speaker 4: But why are we need to in advance. It's gonna
- 34:53Speaker 4: be a mess.
- 34:56Speaker 6: That doesn't affect you, really, huh?
- 35:03Speaker 9: Quiet woo, that's crazy, Come on, private gent taking your shoe, man, yeah,
- 35:14Speaker 9: act like you care about us, Take my computer out
- 35:20Speaker 9: your water away.
- 35:23Speaker 6: He wasn't even pretending at first though. He was just
- 35:26Speaker 6: quiet as a church mouse.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Does not affect him at all. Your ouncers are liquid.
- 35:32Speaker 4: What don't we hate you?
- 35:34Speaker 3: Four ouncers or ouncers or bull and pole? Some out.
- 35:44Speaker 6: My brand new cologne I just bought.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Hey, man, I was I was sick one time and
- 35:50Speaker 3: when they do it too, and I had a bottle
- 35:53Speaker 3: of night quell, I mean day quill, and it was
- 35:57Speaker 3: honey flavored day quill and I was traveling internationally, which
- 36:02Speaker 3: I fly commercial a lot, you know, be honest, and uh,
- 36:06Speaker 3: the dude pulled it. They targeted my night wheel and
- 36:10Speaker 3: the African dude pulled it out and said this is honey.
- 36:15Speaker 3: I said, dog, you know good? Hell, well that ain't
- 36:19Speaker 3: no honey, he said. I said, hey, man, just go
- 36:26Speaker 3: and get your supervisor. And if you're going, if I'm
- 36:28Speaker 3: gonna lose it, just go ahead and throw it away
- 36:30Speaker 3: so I can keep moving. I got I got to
- 36:32Speaker 3: put these shoes back on and find my computer.
- 36:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I hate that, but now you know you can
- 36:41Speaker 4: get on that.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Well, you ain't sick, but if you're getting on there
- 36:44Speaker 3: with water, you can get on there because you know,
- 36:47Speaker 3: all you're doing thing is for medication, and they'll let
- 36:49Speaker 3: you know.
- 36:50Speaker 4: And you're sick, you find out all this stuff. Oh
- 36:52Speaker 4: they don't.
- 36:53Speaker 6: They don't say we have water on the plane.
- 36:56Speaker 4: No, you got your own bottle water. You can get
- 36:58Speaker 4: on there. I don't care how big it is.
- 37:01Speaker 1: You can't do none. Right now, that's opera.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Yeah, thank clearly I need to take before I get home.
- 37:06Speaker 6: All right, guys coming up in twenty minutes after the hour.
- 37:09Speaker 7: There are several memorials plan to celebrate the life of
- 37:13Speaker 7: late civil rights icon Reverend Jesse Jackson. We'll talk about
- 37:16Speaker 7: the details right after this. You're listening to the Steve

- 37:54Speaker 7: one fifty four hundred or globelifradio dot com. We are
- 37:58Speaker 7: all still mourning the passing of civil rights icon Reverend
- 38:02Speaker 7: Jesse Jackson. Reverend Jackson died late Tuesday last Tuesday at
- 38:06Speaker 7: his home in Chicago from a rare neurological disorder that
- 38:10Speaker 7: he'd fought with grace for years. Reverend Jackson's homecoming celebration
- 38:15Speaker 7: will begin in Chicago at the Rainbow Push Coalition headquarters,
- 38:19Speaker 7: where his body lie in state this Thursday.
- 38:23Speaker 6: February twenty six and February twenty seven.
- 38:26Speaker 7: Reverend Jackson is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, and

- 38:31Speaker 7: South Carolina on Sunday, March first, followed by a national
- 38:35Speaker 7: memorial service in DC on Wednesday, March fourth.
- 38:40Speaker 3: And the one thing I regret about this whole thing,
- 38:43Speaker 3: well not one thing, but one of the things that's
- 38:46Speaker 3: disheartening is I think that Reverend Jackson led the life
- 38:50Speaker 3: where flags being flown at half mass would.
- 38:54Speaker 4: Be very very appropriate. Yeah, for for sure, statue because
- 39:00Speaker 4: in it for Charlie Kirk and I just that.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really a sad yeah, very much so that
- 39:10Speaker 1: they pick and choose.
- 39:11Speaker 4: I mean, he was denied.
- 39:13Speaker 8: Reverend Jackson's family was denied the honor, you know, to
- 39:18Speaker 8: lie in state at the Capitol Building.
- 39:21Speaker 1: You know. The Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, denied
- 39:25Speaker 1: that request.
- 39:26Speaker 3: You know.
- 39:27Speaker 4: So I don't know, you know what, It's sort of crazy, man,
- 39:33Speaker 4: I don't know what's worse. Okay, the person who is.
- 39:40Speaker 3: Just a blatant racist or the person who's a racist
- 39:45Speaker 3: but don't think they are racist.
- 39:47Speaker 6: That one right there be uh, But but I found.
- 39:52Speaker 3: That that's the majority of racist that they don't know.
- 39:57Speaker 3: They don't think no, no, no, no, they don't think
- 40:00Speaker 3: they are.
- 40:01Speaker 1: They are, okay, well, and then they're shocked when you
- 40:04Speaker 1: call them out on it.
- 40:06Speaker 6: Yeah, we gotta let them know, yeah, when they are
- 40:09Speaker 6: for sure, so they'll know.
- 40:11Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, behavior the more of a divide, you know. Yeah,
- 40:17Speaker 8: and how come you don't know? Yeah, you know it's
- 40:20Speaker 8: been four hundred years. You haven't figured it out yet.
- 40:25Speaker 4: But yeah, but surely there's been four hundred years of
- 40:27Speaker 4: not happening to them.
- 40:29Speaker 10: You're right, right, Yeah, when you're the perpetrator of racism,
- 40:35Speaker 10: that unchecked, non consequential perpetrator of racism.
- 40:41Speaker 6: You better drop a word.
- 40:46Speaker 4: That's that's what's crazy to me, man.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the privilege of it all too.
- 40:53Speaker 6: Yeah, it really is.
- 40:55Speaker 3: And can I be honest with you, I'm absolutely exhausted
- 40:58Speaker 3: from it. I am lost from that fall, all of it,
- 41:03Speaker 3: sick and tired of it. Man, leave us alone.
- 41:09Speaker 7: Business, yes, all right, coming up in thirty four minutes
- 41:12Speaker 7: after the hour, Sister Odell will stop by right after this.

- 43:16Speaker 7: Uh huh.
- 43:17Speaker 3: So when they come over here, they ain't got a
- 43:19Speaker 3: thirty day, so that's it. Then they take him a
- 43:21Speaker 3: year to recover, then they come back for the next thirty.
- 43:24Speaker 4: What is a colony?
- 43:25Speaker 1: What if?
- 43:26Speaker 8: What if February is having trouble financial trouble paying rent
- 43:31Speaker 8: on March or what happened.

- 50:14Speaker 3: to make sure I was getting the right house, and
- 50:16Speaker 3: I wanted to make sure and you got the wrong house.
- 50:19Speaker 5: My house is not going to foreclosure. I'm up to date.
- 50:23Speaker 5: I'm good.
- 50:24Speaker 4: So you got you definitely got the wrong house.

- 50:38Speaker 5: but when it comes to my name in my crib
- 50:41Speaker 5: and what's going on with my bills and all that,

- 50:48Speaker 5: The wrong information on the right house, whatever it is,
- 50:51Speaker 5: but this is not. My house is definitely not going

- 51:28Speaker 3: Let's back, let's back up. Let's go back to just
- 51:30Speaker 3: a realtor. You're not gonna talk to me like that.
- 51:32Speaker 4: Now.
- 51:32Speaker 11: I'm a realtor and I'm a person. That's that's that's
- 51:34Speaker 11: on top of my game. Your house is going in
- 51:37Speaker 11: the foreclosure.
- 51:37Speaker 4: Now. You can be in denial if you want to be.
- 51:40Speaker 4: But I'm just trying to.
- 51:40Speaker 11: Get on top of everything and get you know, try
- 51:42Speaker 11: to sell the house as soon as it hits the market.
- 51:45Speaker 4: So I know what I'm not gonna don't.
- 51:48Speaker 5: Look, it's not going to the foreclosure dude.
- 51:52Speaker 11: So so so if I'm looking at paperwork here, why

- 52:17Speaker 5: to put me on my house, and on top of that,
- 52:20Speaker 5: be foreclosing. It takes a long time.
- 52:22Speaker 11: Well, that's what I mean. This is, this is, this is,
- 52:25Speaker 11: this has been in there a long time. It's coming
- 52:27Speaker 11: up in the next couple of weeks. That's what I'm
- 52:29Speaker 11: telling you.

- 52:35Speaker 3: What do you do?
- 52:36Speaker 5: You even know what banked? Is it selling the house
- 52:38Speaker 5: or trying to put me in foreclosure?
- 52:40Speaker 4: Are you with do you? Are you with first fidelity.
- 52:44Speaker 5: That's not your concern.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Okay, Well you just asked me, sir.
- 52:47Speaker 1: You just asked me.
- 52:48Speaker 5: That's what's on this paperwork in the foreclosure. You got
- 52:51Speaker 5: the wrong paperwork when you at the wrong hand dress
- 52:54Speaker 5: to tap to somebody else's.
- 52:55Speaker 4: Okay, this is your address. It is the right square footage,
- 52:59Speaker 4: It is the right sir.
- 53:02Speaker 5: Right now, man, I'm telling you I'm not going in

- 53:11Speaker 4: You know what I mean.
- 53:13Speaker 11: I'm paying my bills, but you're not paying yours because
- 53:16Speaker 11: you're on your way in the foreclosure. And now you're
- 53:18Speaker 11: getting upset.
- 53:19Speaker 3: With me when I'm just a realtor calling trying to
- 53:21Speaker 3: catch it.
- 53:22Speaker 5: It's funny to me, is funny came in my business barbecue?

- 57:56Speaker 7: said to tell that nosy BiH to mind her own business. Yeah,
- 58:02Speaker 7: he called her the B word. Needless to say, I
- 58:05Speaker 7: hung up the phone before she could respond. He is
- 58:07Speaker 7: way too comfortable disrespecting my mother, and I don't think
- 58:11Speaker 7: she's done anything to make him that evil to her.
- 58:14Speaker 7: I've asked him to stop, but he said he's marrying me,
- 58:18Speaker 7: not my family, and she started it by looking down
- 58:21Speaker 7: on him. I don't think she treated him that badly,
- 58:24Speaker 7: and I think he's being overly sensitive. My mother has
- 58:27Speaker 7: told my aunt and my brother about how my fiance
- 58:30Speaker 7: treats her, and now they're all in my business and.
- 58:34Speaker 6: Questioning my relationship.
- 58:36Speaker 7: Mostly everything else about him is perfect, but I hate
- 58:40Speaker 7: the way he treats my Mother's my mother to blame
- 58:42Speaker 7: at all? How do I fix their relationship before our wedding? Wedding? Wedding?
- 58:48Speaker 7: You're still considering marrying him? Why he's not worthy of
- 58:52Speaker 7: anything like that? You don't need to marry this guy.
- 58:55Speaker 7: This guy disrespects your mother. What are you talking about?
- 59:00Speaker 1: Really?
- 59:00Speaker 6: I mean, you're twenty eight.
- 59:02Speaker 7: You said your mother only had his best interest at heart,
- 59:06Speaker 7: your best interest at heart, but he took it at
- 59:08Speaker 7: as criticism. That's on him, not your mother. That's what
- 59:12Speaker 7: parents do before you get married. They meet your you know,
- 59:16Speaker 7: intended person. They talk to them, They get to know him.
- 59:19Speaker 7: They want to see where.
- 59:20Speaker 8: His head is.
- 59:22Speaker 7: You know, is he good enough? Is he worthy enough
- 59:24Speaker 7: to be marrying their child? That's what parents do. Okay,
- 59:28Speaker 7: he calls her to judge, he's calling her to be word?
- 59:31Speaker 7: What what you let him call your mother?
- 59:35Speaker 1: The B word?
- 59:36Speaker 7: You're right, he is way too comfortable disrespecting your mother
- 59:40Speaker 7: and you shouldn't allow this.
- 59:42Speaker 8: You shouldn't be marrying this guy. Stop this wedding, stop
- 59:45Speaker 8: all of this, give him his ring back. You don't
- 59:48Speaker 8: because guess what it's not going to get any better.
- 59:51Speaker 6: It's not going to change.
- 59:53Speaker 7: It's only going to get worse if you think about
- 59:56Speaker 7: or consider marrying this guy.
- 59:58Speaker 6: You need to stop this now.
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: I'm sure your brother has the right idea because he's
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: gonna let him know.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: That's his mother too.
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: Yeah, you hate the way he treats your mother because
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: you should, but you still he treats your mother one way,
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: and you still don't.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: Please don't marry this man. No you ask is your
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: mother to blame it all?
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: For what? For being a mother, for looking out for
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: her daughter's best interests. No, your mother is not to blame.
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: You can't fix their relationship before the wedding because it's
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: ruined because he doesn't respect your mother. Because he called
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: your mother a bid there's nothing to fix. He called
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: her a fat witch. There's nothing to fix here. Come on, now,
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: come on, come on, come on, don't let this go
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: down like this. Don't let this man disrespect and talk
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: to your talk about your mother like this.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: Steve, Please, sister, at twenty eight years old, I'm gonna
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: have to tell you some things. Now, you're twenty eight
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: years old. You got engaged to a man. You say,
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: it's almost perfect. Nobody is, and nobody ain't almost perfect either.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: Ain't nobody even close. But you think you got something perfect,
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: but you got a letter full of stuff that ain't perfect.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: See you looking at the wrong You look at a
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: lot of superficial stuff. Y'all want the same things. Y'all
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: got some promising careers. But there's one issue. He hates
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: your mother, one of the people that you love.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: Deal.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: He manages to hate her all because, like you say,
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: you'll admit, she was a little tough on him when
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: they first met. Charley had your best interests at heart,
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: like Charlie said, that's what parents do. She asked him
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: a lot about his background and ambitious, and he took
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: it as criticism. She wanted to make sure he was
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: responsible and mature. Okay, well we'll get to that in
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: a second, because that's gonna come back to play. But
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: instead he got offended and thought she was questioning his
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: abilities as a man. He nicknamed her to judge and
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: said he'll never be worth of her approval. And since
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: we've gotten engaged, just gotten works. Now, excuse me, you
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: mean to tell me that all this hate came from
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: a simple line of questions.
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: She didn't go out there and bust the windows in
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: his car.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: She ain't keyed up the car. She broke his glasses.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: She ain't take its cell phone and went through it.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: She had a line of questioning about his intent with
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: his daughter, just to see if maybe if the daughter
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: was overlooking something. So in this line of questioning, he
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: hates her. I was talking to her on the phone
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: and he'd asked how that fat witch is doing. I say,
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: I'm going out with He said, you better not bring
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: that bit back to this house with me. One time
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: he asked me, She asked me how much her fiance
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: was making at his new job. His stupid behind said,
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: to hell with that nosy b I and to mind
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: her own business.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: Are you serious?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: twenty three minutes.
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: After the hour. The subject of this strawberry letter is
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: he treats my mother like a dog. Coming back right
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: after this.

- 1:03:55Speaker 7: a dog.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: Twenty eight year woman is engaged in this guy, she said,
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: as almost except he has one problem.
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: He hates his mother. Her mother. Now, she says.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: She admitted she was tough on the man when he
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: came over, but she only had my best interest At Harden.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: She asked him a lot about his background ambitions, and
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: he took it as criticism. She wanted to be sure
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: he was responsible and mature. Let's keep that in mind
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: because I'm gonna show you something. But instead he got
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: offended and thought she was questioning his abilities as a man.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: Nicknamed her. The judge said it never be worth of
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: her approval. Okay, Now he's mad over a line of
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: questioning a line of questions, and he's that mad. Now
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: you just said your mother was trying to make sure
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: he was responsible and mature. Well, a line of questioning
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: has him acting this way. This is a line of questioning.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: I'm gonna show you again in the letter. Since you've
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: gotten engaged, it's gotten words. If I talked to her
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: on the phone, he'll ask how that fact.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: Witch is doing.
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: That's mature, that's what you're the woman ain't even talking
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: about him.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: She all types of fat witches. Yes, okay.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: If I say I'm going out with her, he'll say,
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: don't bring that bit back to the house with you.
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: One time she asked me how much my fiance was
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: making that his job.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: His stupid behind said, tell that nosy b I to
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: mind her own business. God, needless to say, I hung
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: up the phone, folks, she could respond, Wait a minute,
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: that was your reaction. Wait a minute, needless to say,
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: you hung up the phone Before she could respond, Wow,
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: that was your reaction. I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: you're not calling my mama. B. I t s.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: You know. I o't care who you are. I'm sorry.
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: Maybe it's because I'm a man, but I don't know
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: no women gonna want you to do that. Gon gonna
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: let you do that either. And see it's disrespect, it's immature,
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: and it shows a nonsense of responsibility. Now he's way
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: too comfortable disrespecting my mother. But you let me see
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: it ain't no repercussions. You disrespect your my mama hit
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: his ring back. But you're so caught up in the
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: career and y'all got the same lights and a promising future.
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: You letting this man get away with murder? I got
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: news for you. Your mama ain't fitna only be the
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: only v I T C H.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I got news for you.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: This is after a line of questioning, what you.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: Gonna be when y'all hit a couple of hard rocks
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: in the road, Because you're gonna hit him, What are
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: you going to be when he when you start stinging him?
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: Because you gonna stinging, just like she stunging?
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: With a simple line of questions, what about when you
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: start singing stinging with some accusations. Oh, your wife gonna
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: accuse you of something. It ain't always cheap. She gonna
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: accuse you a lion, accuse you of looking at somebody.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: She gonna accuse you of being somewhere you said you
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: wasn't she gonna accuse you or not loving her like
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: you used to. She gonna accuse you of not paying
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: her proper attention. She gonna accuse your wife, gonna accuse
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: you of something. So now what you finna be when
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: he get the calling? When when when you get to
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: accuse you, you find to be a being a whole
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: lot more. Little girl, I'm telling you it don't stop
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: at the mama. So I don't think she treated him
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: that bad, and I think he's being over sensitive. My
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: mother was told, has told my aunt and my older
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: brother about how my feel treats her, and now they
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: all up in my bes this question in my relationship
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: help my older brother. My sisters would have been married
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: to somebody and somebody told them two brothers of minds
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: heavy in turn that one of them called in laws
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: villa or b I T what's that?
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: Why I shouldn't tell you? Listen to me. I'm telling
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: you what's happening. We've been what's wrong with your brother?
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: Y'all taking too much in y'all y'all must be bullging
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: or something. Most of everything about him is perfect. What well,
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: let me show you a couple of dimes, But I
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: hate the way he treats my mother. Is my mother
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: to blame it all? How do I fix that relationship?
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: You you're talking about getting married? Are you stupid?
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: Listen to me?
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Yeah, let me tell you something. He's irresponsible and immature.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: Let me show you something. You he should care about
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: what you care about. He should love the things that
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: you love. His job is to protect your heart. It
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: ain't his job to make you happy, but it's his
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: job to protect your heart. A man takes a wife
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: to protect a heart, provide, profess protect Now, I don't
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: he don't let me tell you something. He don't just
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: not respect her. He don't respect you at all. He's
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: calling your mother a b I T what what's are you?
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: Are you not understanding this? That disrespect. This disrespect is
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: just not aimed at your mother. It's aimed directly at
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: you when you go out with or don't bring this
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: old blankety blank back to this house when she want
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: to know how much she may tell that nosey b
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: I tch to mind her business?
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: Are you nuts? Are you nuts?
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: I'm surprised your brother ain't feed his Yes, I promise
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: you my brothers. Is no way they let that live die.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: It ain't no way flood little girl. I don't know
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: what you're doing. I don't know how you keep calling
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: this man perfect but he not. But I am forewarning
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: you this disrespect that he has for his mother is
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: gonna flood over in other areas. A disrespectful person is
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: a disrespectful person. It don't stay in a category. He
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: spreads around and as soon as you challenge him, you
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: fitna be that in a whole lot.

- 1:14:25Speaker 7: can't keep a job. Lately, I've been making plans and
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: I've arranged for the movers to put my furniture in storage.
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: I bought everything in this house and I want to
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: leave him with nothing. My mom said that this type
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: of behavior will block my blessings. Why should I behave
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: like a Christian and he doesn't do I have to
- 1:14:44Speaker 7: tell him that I'm leaving.
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: Well, I mean.
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: Others mothers have a sense of awareness and experience and
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: knowledge that sometimes you don't. In the words of my
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: father in law, just because you can do something don't
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: mean you should. Now you can leave this man, I'm
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: not telling you this stay. He ain't trying to work,
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: he don't come home some nights. Man. Bye, But there's
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: a way to do it. If you gonna leave, you
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: can leave. You can leave clean. You don't have to
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: do the shock value. But you ain't got to leave
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: you nothing. You ain't gonna have nothing, no way. So
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: I just kind of listen to what your mom is saying,
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: because you're gonna create another problem too. Now when you
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: do it like that, what I mean, he gonna get mad.
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: Then here come all that other Just find the right
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: way to do it and get on out. Take your furniture,
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: gonna move in with your mama.
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: So are you saying should she tell him or hey.
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: Hey, get your stuff, whatever it is, box it up,
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: get ready. Friday the movies is coming, movies, come on
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: in there, boom, set him on up. Now, Now, if
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: you know something that we don't know, that he's been
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: or abusive, didn't do it? Wait, did he go to
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: wherever he goes in there?
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: Sneak out? Then if he's abusive, he's got sneak out.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: I mean, that's what you know. If you're gonna leave
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: a man, leave all these announcements and all.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: That, just go yeah.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: But if you go do it that way, go in
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: and do it, and don't you know, worry about that
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: Christian thing. You're gonna ask the Lord for forgiveness, pack
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: your stuff up, ask for forgiveness, get out.
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: Yeah, it must be bad if she's moving back with
- 1:16:32Speaker 7: her mom. Yep, all right, we have time for another one.
- 1:16:36Speaker 7: This is from Valerie and Little Rock. Valerie says, my
- 1:16:39Speaker 7: husband and I have a landscape business, and I found
- 1:16:42Speaker 7: out that he's been giving one of our customers the discount.
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: The customer is a single mom, and my husband said
- 1:16:48Speaker 7: that he gives her a break because we take care
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: of other yards in her neighborhood, so he doesn't want
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: her yard to make our business look bad.
- 1:16:56Speaker 6: I want to believe he's doing it to be nice.
- 1:16:59Speaker 6: But could there be another reason?
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: Well, he lands she is single and you know, got
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: a couple of kids. Maybe maybe he's just trying to
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: help out. Yeah, you have no proof of anything else happening.
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: You have no evidence, so you that's just it. You know,
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: shut up, Tommy.
- 1:17:21Speaker 6: To stop.
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: You know that man over the landscaping, you know what
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: he's dealing. Stop that.
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: Why would you say, say so?
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: Sip of you? Because everybody else got.
- 1:17:35Speaker 6: To be tricked, right, I mean, why are you saying
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: that though? Tommy?
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: Seriously, I cut y'all. Nobody cut y off for free.
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: Don't nobody to cut you off?
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: Discount?
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: Yeah, he's giving her account mm hmm okay, well you counted,
- 1:17:52Speaker 7: go ahead.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: Off.
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: Maybe that's a lot.
- 1:18:03Speaker 6: I think he's doing what Tommy says he's doing. Yes,
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: so we have another one. What's your advice?
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: I just told you know, the man just being nice.
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: He can gave the woman a discount. She's singing, she
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: got them kids up there, She's just trying to be kind.
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: She can't afford the regular price.
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: She's single.
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: Why doy keys ain't out there cutting yo? Whydy keys
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: ain't out there cutting y'all?
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: Day four and three. Daughter daughter, Yosh.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: It's nothing wrong with Tommy? Yes, Steve, what's wrong?
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: Hey? Why don't you go over there? So he used
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: to cut yachts. Why don't you go?
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: You major?
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: Uncle mad Tommy coming up in twenty minutes after we'll
- 1:18:48Speaker 7: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:51Speaker 6: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:58Speaker 7: Good news, guys for perfemans enhancing drugs like viagra. According
- 1:19:04Speaker 7: to a new study, the drugs that are commonly used
- 1:19:06Speaker 7: for erectile dysfunction may offer big time health benefits. Researchers
- 1:19:11Speaker 7: found that these medications relax blood vessels and improved circulation
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: throughout the entire body. They are linked to a lower
- 1:19:19Speaker 7: risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. The study also
- 1:19:24Speaker 7: found that the pills can help men struggling with an
- 1:19:26Speaker 7: enlarged prostate. So, would you, guys, try viagra or a

- 1:19:51Speaker 3: Yeah, First of all, I have a handful of them

- 1:22:03Speaker 3: a minute, how is I'm working here? I ain't feeling
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: had whoppers?
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: No?
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: I sold whoppers though, after Okay, I made him about
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: ten of them.
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: Were they.
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: Hot? I made them hot as I could. You know,
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: everybody knew I was coming out the door with them.
- 1:22:23Speaker 4: Oh okay, so they made me down.
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: Yeah, didn't getting off work, I'm gonna have ten hot whoppers.
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: How much?
- 1:22:33Speaker 6: How much was one whopper dollar?
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: That's a good that's.
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: Double whoppers though, And I loaded them up. I made
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: them to order. I had I have it your way.
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: I made ten whoppers double your weight, put their little
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: initials on the wrapper.
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: Oh wow, dry out to the corner. Everybody was pre ordered,
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: prepaid ten dollars. I had ten dollars.
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: So here's the question, were you fired or did you
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: leave that job on your own?
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: No, that was the one when they came in and
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: they robbed it. They're not quit.
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: The next day, oh okay, well fifty fifty. Just after that,
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: I went, this is not worth this ten dollars hustle
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: I got. Because the dude he said, I'll be back.
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: I went with, come on, all, I won't be here tomorrow.
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: Clearly I heard that I'll be back back back, back way,
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: I'll be back.
- 1:23:32Speaker 6: Would you rather.
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: Who messed up his order? No? It was crazy, man,
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: but like it was so ignorant.
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: What one of the dudes got was his brother, his brother,
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: and and and and the dude was the dude named
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: Prince that was the security guard on the way out.
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: Yes, my brother, I'll be back. Clearly he meant that.
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: I don't know really where to go after that, but
- 1:24:00Speaker 6: hell go to break go to break. Yeah, open, we're done.
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: Because my brother was simple, would you rather be at
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: work tomorrow? Coming here for this next shooting?
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: Bring up?
- 1:24:15Speaker 7: This is our last break of the day, and we'll
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: close out the show with Steve Harvey, the one and only.
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: Right after this, what's going on?

- 1:24:40Speaker 6: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: Life is unpredictable, but protecting your family doesn't have to
- 1:24:50Speaker 7: be complicated. Blub Life helps family secure their future with simple,
- 1:24:54Speaker 7: affordable life insurance. There's no medical exam, just a simple
- 1:24:58Speaker 7: application with rates starting as low as three dollars and

- 1:25:12Speaker 7: dot com that's one eight hundred two five one fifty
- 1:25:14Speaker 7: four hundred or Globelife radio dot com. All right, guys,
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: here we are our last break of the day.
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: Steve, you want to take us home with something?
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: Hey, I got some clothing remarks for you real simple.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Here it is work, hard work. There is no substitute
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: for it, hard work. Now you hear people say I'd
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: rather work smart than work hard, There is no substitute
- 1:25:42Speaker 3: for hard work. If you gonna work smart, you're gonna
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: have to work hard at being smart.
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: There is no substitute for hard work. You can't replace.
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: It.
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: Ain't no quick, easy way. You got to work hard, man.
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: Accept that and understand that, and make that one of
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: your disciplines.
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: Hard work replaces a lot.
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: I know a lot of people who are more talented
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: than me, but and now one of them go outwork me.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: So I've managed to forge myself a pretty good life.
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: And I've gotten this pretty good life not because of
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: just my talent, but because my work ethic. It's not
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: up for question. You cannot ever question my work ethic.
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: You think he'll be here, you think he'll do it.
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: Suppose he don't show up where he at today?
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: Uh uh uh uh. That ain't the question.
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: Because I was raised with the work ethic, and it
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: supersedes talent.
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: You can be talent, but you if you ain't got
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: work ethic, man, it ain't gonna work. It just ain't
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: gonna work.
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: Y'all. Now, if I could couple anything with my hard work,
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: you know what the two things that would if you
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: couple it with discipline and faith. If you take hard
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: work and you couple it with discipline and faith, oh
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: Lord have mercy, you unstoppable. But the discipline is critical
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: because even if you're willing to work hard.
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: What about the days when you don't feel like it?
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: What about the days when you ain't up to it?
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: What about the days where something happened and you was
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: supposed to work, but you something happened. No discipline says
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: I gotta work anyway. Discipline says I gotta do this anyway.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: Discipline is doing what you have to do even when
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: you don't want to. And then if you put faith
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: in that faith some prayer, boy, boy, you unstoppable. That's
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: really the explanation behind all of my success. Oh I'm
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: a hard worker and make no mistake about that, and
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: I'm disciplined. Where I'm gonna go to work, you don't
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: have to look for me. But the key factor on
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: Lord have mercy, My faith, my belief in things that
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: I cannot see, my belief that prayer changes things, that
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: prayer is available to everybody that prayer and faith allows
- 1:28:35Speaker 3: me a measure of peace that's undescribable because I know
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: that God is.
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: Working on my behalf. It allows me.
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: To have immeasurable peace that I can sit somewhere in
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: the storm and look like it's aok because I know
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: my God gonna fix it and it will be a okay.
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: Oh it might not be aoka right now, but that
- 1:29:00Speaker 3: don't mean it ain't gonna be. Man.
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: Please, hard work, discipline, and faith.
- 1:29:12Speaker 7: Two.
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: You can do a lot of things better than Steve Harvey.
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: But you can't outwork me, though I bet you that.
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: I bet you you can't. You ain't gonna outwork me.
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: You ain't gonna put forth more effort than me. You're
- 1:29:30Speaker 3: not gonna be more disciplined about it than me. So
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: now now, if you end up with more than me,
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: then congratulations. That's your lot in life, just like this
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: is my life in life. You know when my life
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: is over, you know what I'm gonna be able to say,
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: when I'm laying there looking at my last minutes of hours,
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: I will truly be able to say I gave it
- 1:29:58Speaker 3: my all.
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: I will truly be able to let.
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: Us sit there and fall moms and say, I tell
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: you one thing, I did the best I could. I
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: gave it everything I had. I can't do no more. Well,
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: steve your time up, all right, man, And nothing nothing
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: to do about that. Take me home Heaven Father. I
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: just hope, I just hope with everything that in me
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: down and done enough to make it to the kingdom.
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: That's really all I'm hoping for. And for those of
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: you out there that judge people and judge me, for
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: y'all passes out there and have used me and your
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: sermons and all that there, it's something wrong with you too.
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: You gonna stand before the same God I'm gonna stand
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: in front of you, gonna answer. You're gonna have to
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: answer for all the stuff I don't know about you,
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: just like I'm gonna have to answer to all the
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: stuff he know about me. But why are y'all out
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: there talking about somebody else? I'm gonna be in that
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: number though. When it's all said and done, I'm gonna
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: have done enough things for the Kingdom for God Almighty,
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: I think I'm gonna get in. And for those of
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: you that's heaven bound, that's all you got to worry about.
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: Do the best you can and hope that God see
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: you at the end with the reward. Because there's none perfect, no,
- 1:31:29Speaker 3: not one, not your pastor his pastor not not the
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: head of the Baptist Convention, none of them, all of
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: them flawed. Heaven gonna be full of flawed people. Because
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: if it ain't none perfect, no, not one, then who
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: going hm hmm, I'm gonna be one of the flawed
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: ones in that that you go see that, y'all have
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: a great day today. Talk to God today. He'd absolutely
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: love to hear from it.
