- 2:26Speaker 1: I want you to catch on fire today. But I
- 2:29Speaker 1: need you to catch fire today. I need today to
- 2:33Speaker 1: be today that you stop complaining and you do something.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Do you know why a lot of people can't move
- 2:40Speaker 1: forward in their life because they complaining about their past?
- 2:43Speaker 1: They always complaining, man about something? Is that explains the
- 2:48Speaker 1: reason why they are. Let me help you with this
- 2:51Speaker 1: right here. If you are steady complaining about the reason
- 2:55Speaker 1: you are, you know, if I hadn't have met this man,
- 2:58Speaker 1: if I hadn't have been involved with this woman. If
- 3:00Speaker 1: I hadn't had this baby, if I had to never
- 3:03Speaker 1: went down there, if I hadn't got arrested, if I
- 3:06Speaker 1: hadn't it this, if I hadn't it if I had
- 3:08Speaker 1: to just finished school, if I hadn't a hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 3:12Speaker 1: stop stop all that stuff that you're complaining about, everything
- 3:18Speaker 1: that you keep allowing to resonate with you as a
- 3:21Speaker 1: reason to justify and explain you not being successful. Can
- 3:26Speaker 1: I share something with you about all of that? Guess
- 3:29Speaker 1: what it is? You didn't got past all of it.
- 3:33Speaker 1: You didn't had the baby, you got arrested, they didn't
- 3:36Speaker 1: kill you, you didn't finish school, but you still standing.
- 3:40Speaker 1: You met that man, he gone, He involved with two
- 3:43Speaker 1: other women. Right now, I got three other kids. Guess what.
- 3:46Speaker 1: You still here and the baby's here. You got over
- 3:49Speaker 1: all the injustices that were done to you. You got
- 3:53Speaker 1: something happened to you when you as a kid. You're
- 3:55Speaker 1: an adult now. Somebody did something to you when you
- 3:58Speaker 1: was a little boy. Guess what you are man? Now?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Some thing's happened to you that you haven't found closure on.
- 4:06Speaker 1: The person that you're looking for closure from has moved on.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Can I tell you that everything that has happened to you,
- 4:13Speaker 1: do you know you've gotten past it? So why are
- 4:17Speaker 1: you steady complaining about what has happened to you that
- 4:21Speaker 1: has caused you to be in this position? But do
- 4:24Speaker 1: you understand that it's prohibiting you from moving forward? Stop
- 4:27Speaker 1: complaining today, catch fire. Let your pass be your past.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I've told us to you a hundred times on this radio,
- 4:34Speaker 1: but I'm gonna say it again. Bishop Jake's told me
- 4:37Speaker 1: something man that helped me so greatly. You can't drive
- 4:41Speaker 1: your car if you're gonna keep looking in the rearview mirror.
- 4:46Speaker 1: That's why the windshield is huge. The windshield is huge.
- 4:51Speaker 1: The rearview mirror is this tiny thing that sits up there.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Now all is far. It's so you can see stuff
- 4:58Speaker 1: that's coming up on you. You. All the review mirror
- 5:02Speaker 1: for is so you can assure yourself or listen to this.
- 5:06Speaker 1: The review mirror is impt there to assure you that
- 5:10Speaker 1: you've cleared something. See. That's what the review mirrors for.
- 5:14Speaker 1: So when you pass it, corn, you want to switch lanes,
- 5:16Speaker 1: you can glance updre and it says, okay, you're clear.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Now you passed it. You can switch lanes. That's how
- 5:22Speaker 1: all the review mirrors for. It ain't for you to
- 5:25Speaker 1: stare at and dictate your life with what you're tripping for. Man,
- 5:29Speaker 1: catch fire today today, Man quick complaining about everything that
- 5:35Speaker 1: had happened to you? Life is ten percent. What happens
- 5:38Speaker 1: to you is ninety percent. What you do about what
- 5:40Speaker 1: happens to you? What are you going to do about it?
- 5:45Speaker 1: So what I got all this? Look, man, your story
- 5:47Speaker 1: ain't no deeper than nobody else's. I can tell you
- 5:50Speaker 1: I was homeless for three years. It's people been homeless
- 5:53Speaker 1: for thirty years. How long I'm gonna ride that out? Man?
- 5:59Speaker 1: You know I can't do nothing right now. I fell
- 6:01Speaker 1: on hard times and I lost my place to stay.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Why are you staying now? See the majority of people
- 6:09Speaker 1: are staying somewhere right now. I was out there. I
- 6:12Speaker 1: didn't have nowhere to go. I'm in a shelter. Now.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You was under the bridge a week ago. You're in
- 6:18Speaker 1: the shelter. Now. Why are you still crying about the bridge?
- 6:22Speaker 1: You're in the shelter now. Man. You know how you
- 6:27Speaker 1: find your purpose, You get in touch with who created you.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Because when God made you, he had a purpose in mind.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Now we've ignored it and we haven't tapped into it.
- 6:40Speaker 1: But we all had a purpose. You don't, and it's
- 6:43Speaker 1: sometimes it take people longer to discover the purpose. Colonel
- 6:47Speaker 1: Sanders was frying chicken with a recipe that he was
- 6:51Speaker 1: telling people was the best chicken in the world. Ain't
- 6:54Speaker 1: nobody believe him till he turned seventy? Why you think
- 6:59Speaker 1: the dude us only Kentucky fried chicken signs is old.
- 7:04Speaker 1: That dude ain't twenty up there he oh, he oh,
- 7:08Speaker 1: But you know what, he had been frying that chicken
- 7:13Speaker 1: for forty some years. They just found out about it
- 7:17Speaker 1: when he was seventy. But he didn't give up his
- 7:21Speaker 1: purpose in life. This dude was just frying chicken. See,
- 7:24Speaker 1: people keep looking for their gifts in all kinds of
- 7:27Speaker 1: places when it's right there in you. You ain't got
- 7:29Speaker 1: to go to school to find your gift. You're born
- 7:32Speaker 1: with the gift to God God for you. You'll go
- 7:35Speaker 1: to school to tack it on to something else. But
- 7:38Speaker 1: your gift was already given to you. You were born
- 7:41Speaker 1: with that. You don't have to go to college to
- 7:42Speaker 1: know your guilt. Your college allows you to enhance it
- 7:45Speaker 1: and to find something to attach it to, and hopefully
- 7:48Speaker 1: you get a degree that attaches your gift to a
- 7:52Speaker 1: vehicle where it can work. The problem with college is
- 7:55Speaker 1: we go to college and we attach it to what
- 7:57Speaker 1: we like or what we might be passionate about, and
- 8:00Speaker 1: we ignore the gift we have. You know how many
- 8:02Speaker 1: people and graduating from college ain't doing nothing they went
- 8:04Speaker 1: to college for. Come on, man, you know why because
- 8:07Speaker 1: you're discovering life, your guilt. You discover what you was
- 8:10Speaker 1: born to do. I wasn't bought you know what I mean?
- 8:13Speaker 1: You know what my major was in college? It was advertising.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I can't be in no death, drawing, no picture for nobody.
- 8:20Speaker 1: But now guess what I can wake up every day
- 8:22Speaker 1: and guess what I can tell you? I advertise. I've
- 8:25Speaker 1: been advertising my career. Come see me live. Come see
- 8:28Speaker 1: me live at Madison Square Garden, Come see me live
- 8:31Speaker 1: at Philips Arena. Come see me live at Joker's Comedy Club.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Come see me live at Percy's. Come see me live
- 8:38Speaker 1: at Ellis's Tavern. Come see me live. Come. I've been
- 8:41Speaker 1: advertising the whole time, but I had a different purpose
- 8:45Speaker 1: in mine because I went and I talked to God,
- 8:48Speaker 1: and this is how you do it? You go talk
- 8:50Speaker 1: to God and say, hey, God, look, okay, this is
- 8:52Speaker 1: the deal. I've been struggling here. I'm over forty. I
- 8:57Speaker 1: still haven't found my purpose in life. Okay, but so
- 9:00Speaker 1: I can quit wasting any more time? Would you help
- 9:03Speaker 1: direct me and guide me to my purpose? I know
- 9:06Speaker 1: you created me to do something. I just haven't found
- 9:09Speaker 1: what it is. And the reason I haven't found what
- 9:12Speaker 1: it is because I've been doing things my way. I
- 9:14Speaker 1: ain't been checking what you confirmed with you on anything.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I ain't locked in or tried to settle it up
- 9:19Speaker 1: with you. I've been just doing my thing. Well, my
- 9:22Speaker 1: thing has gotten me as far as it can get me.
- 9:25Speaker 1: How about you takeover and do your thing now? Can
- 9:28Speaker 1: you direct me in my path? I'm an open book.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Treat me like a piece of clay. I'm telling you, man,
- 9:35Speaker 1: if you go to God, he'll give it to you.
- 9:37Speaker 1: But see you have not because you asked not. How
- 9:41Speaker 1: many times have you asked God for it? This ain't
- 9:46Speaker 1: no magic trick, y'all. This is the deal. You got
- 9:49Speaker 1: to catch fire today. Catch fire today, I am. I'm
- 9:53Speaker 1: excited about today. I've got a lot to do. You're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening ladies and gentlemen. I don't know what you're doing,
- 10:04Speaker 1: but we're about to start this show. Run us, take
- 10:09Speaker 1: to your mark, get set. Oh yeah, that's that party.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I just ran that the party probably. Yeah, that was
- 10:28Speaker 1: about six seven seconds. About what I do it in now? Oh,
- 10:33Speaker 1: there ain't gonna be no quick time. Charley Strawberry, Hey,
- 10:37Speaker 1: good morning, Steve Harvey, calin for real day Wednesday. What's happening,
- 10:43Speaker 1: crew Junior? Morning of feet just chopping, nephew me. We
- 10:51Speaker 1: ain't gonna mention running my bad, my bad. Oh, don't
- 10:54Speaker 1: bother me back. Oh I didn't. I didn't. I didn't
- 10:57Speaker 1: say it to bother you. I just said we want
- 11:00Speaker 1: and you're running. That's all I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 11:06Speaker 1: both of y'all looking. I wasn't running. I'm gonna tell
- 11:08Speaker 1: you that right now. Oh because you were trying to start.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Back when you were hater Chip, I think he said, girl, Yeah,
- 11:18Speaker 1: I can't out run them now, but yeah, yeah, back then,
- 11:25Speaker 1: it wouldn't even been close. Knock I'll knock dog. Not
- 11:31Speaker 1: back in the day. You already know that time. That's
- 11:33Speaker 1: gonna stop this here, stop this. I can't beat them
- 11:37Speaker 1: doing nothing running right now, not from here to there,
- 11:41Speaker 1: here to nowhere? Doctor, Yeah, No, I ain't. I can't
- 11:47Speaker 1: get out the blocks. I ain't gonna get to the
- 11:49Speaker 1: halfway part first. I ain't gonna cross the tape. Ain't
- 11:53Speaker 1: gonna be none of that. I'm gonna blow both my
- 11:56Speaker 1: ham strings out if I try to run a forty
- 12:01Speaker 1: right now. So I'm good, but I've grown to understand
- 12:04Speaker 1: that accepted. I'm just happy that I'm healthy and you know,
- 12:08Speaker 1: moving around and agile and you know, fly's fresh, you know, heart.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I ain't praise God. I ain't on no prescription. Mad's
- 12:19Speaker 1: praise God. I don't know how long I've been able
- 12:22Speaker 1: to do that, but I'm doing it now. So I
- 12:25Speaker 1: thank God for that. And so you know that's good.
- 12:27Speaker 1: You gotta be grateful for where you're at. Hey, I
- 12:33Speaker 1: was watching this, you know, when Will Smith took his
- 12:35Speaker 1: shirt off and he got all these people. Chris Spencer's
- 12:38Speaker 1: got involved with it too, and he posted something the
- 12:41Speaker 1: other day saying, you know, after one week, I'm starting
- 12:43Speaker 1: to see results. Did you see the picture on this place? Man?
- 12:47Speaker 1: So I saw that. He said, after one week, I'm
- 12:53Speaker 1: already getting results. Whatever, And if he had me for
- 12:56Speaker 1: a minute, and then I looked out. I say, this
- 12:59Speaker 1: food right that boy and that picture is man. Did
- 13:05Speaker 1: you see um Anthony Anderson's picture? Steve, I saw the
- 13:10Speaker 1: woman before he worked out. I didn't understand that is
- 13:14Speaker 1: he mad at himself? I like the confidence and all
- 13:20Speaker 1: of them just throw it out there out yeah, I
- 13:26Speaker 1: ain't that damn confidence. So all right, we're moving on.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, asked
- 13:37Speaker 1: the CLO the Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey right after this.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, guys, time now for ask the CLO.
- 13:48Speaker 1: This one is from Kim and Detroit. Kim writes, I
- 13:51Speaker 1: need your honest opinion about my man. I'm not an
- 13:55Speaker 1: insecure woman at all, So I don't mind that my
- 13:58Speaker 1: boyfriend works in the second industry. In fact, I met
- 14:02Speaker 1: him at the swingers club that he works in. I
- 14:04Speaker 1: just happened to go to the club Saturday night without
- 14:07Speaker 1: telling him I was coming, and I walked up on
- 14:10Speaker 1: him kissing a female at the bar. He turned bright
- 14:14Speaker 1: red when he saw me. He said, it's part of
- 14:16Speaker 1: his job as bartender to entice women to get more drinks.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Is it wrong to get mad? If he's swinging at
- 14:22Speaker 1: work without me knowing it. Why yellow you in the
- 14:30Speaker 1: relationship with a dude that you met at the swingers Club?
- 14:34Speaker 1: Let me ask you something. When you met him at
- 14:38Speaker 1: the Swingers Club, wasn't he in there swinging? Hollywood? So
- 14:47Speaker 1: I don't give a damn if he do work there.
- 14:49Speaker 1: If you work there, you are swinger an't Nobody hadn't
- 14:53Speaker 1: know swingers club watching all this activity going and you
- 14:56Speaker 1: ain't trying to participate. They don't pay this dude. Let
- 14:59Speaker 1: the bar to kid women to get him to buy
- 15:01Speaker 1: more drinks. You ain't got to do that at the
- 15:04Speaker 1: swingers club who? And they ain't drinking who at the
- 15:07Speaker 1: swingers club ain't kissing? Everybody in there kissing and drinking.
- 15:13Speaker 1: That's what you got, hoping that lead to more. I
- 15:18Speaker 1: don't even understand what you're talking about. Am I wrong
- 15:21Speaker 1: for getting mad at yo man swinging without telling me
- 15:25Speaker 1: he was in that swinging for you met him. I
- 15:27Speaker 1: don't give a damn what his job is. If you
- 15:30Speaker 1: take tickets at that dough why would you get the
- 15:35Speaker 1: job at the Swingers Club taking tickets at the door
- 15:37Speaker 1: if you wasn't interested in swinging? You work at the
- 15:42Speaker 1: Strip club because you like stripples. Okay, ain't nobody going
- 15:46Speaker 1: down the Magic City talking? My man? Hey, you got
- 15:48Speaker 1: any openings of for anybody wanted to fry broccoli? Ain't
- 15:54Speaker 1: what you're doing there for dough? So come on, man,
- 15:57Speaker 1: come on lady, come on your man as a swing Hey?
- 16:00Speaker 1: Are you a swinging? Yes? Thank you? Swing? He swinging? Oh?
- 16:08Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. Man. The words
- 16:11Speaker 1: of my grandmama. I'm with you when you're right all right.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Moving on to Jasmine, who's a podcast listener, she says,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I've been dating a man for seven months and he's
- 16:23Speaker 1: really sweet normally, but I don't know what's happened to
- 16:26Speaker 1: him last weekend. He treated me to a Mother's Day
- 16:29Speaker 1: dinner on Sunday and he bought the sandals I asked for.
- 16:33Speaker 1: The Only problem is he got a size nine and
- 16:35Speaker 1: I wear a seven. And later that night he did
- 16:37Speaker 1: stuff he'd never done to me sexually, and I didn't
- 16:40Speaker 1: like it. I think he's got a bigfoot side piece
- 16:43Speaker 1: that's freakier than I am. Nine come one, because he
- 16:51Speaker 1: was thinking about something. What size you want? Give me
- 16:55Speaker 1: a nine? If she don't want it. I got somewhere
- 16:57Speaker 1: to take it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, she did something
- 17:02Speaker 1: to you and then you ain't like it. Yeah, there's
- 17:04Speaker 1: somebody you wear a seven and he bought a nine.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Yeah he can look at that shoe and no, that's
- 17:10Speaker 1: a big difference between seven and nine. That'd be like
- 17:14Speaker 1: me sitting up at the shoe store talking about sir
- 17:16Speaker 1: wic side you. Oh excuse me, bro, bro, you want
- 17:23Speaker 1: to eight and nothing? No? I got now nothing on
- 17:26Speaker 1: my foot? Say ate my foot so big? It looked
- 17:30Speaker 1: like I got eight big toads? Like what? Yeah? All right?
- 17:39Speaker 1: So she should she ask him as the question what
- 17:42Speaker 1: should she do? Ask him? You think he gonna tell you? Bright?
- 17:47Speaker 1: What what research do your why anybody fining volunteer? No
- 17:52Speaker 1: information for y'all? What makes me think? What should I
- 17:59Speaker 1: ask him? As he's seeing somebody else? Yeah yeah yeah yeah, no, no, no, no, no, yeah,
- 18:06Speaker 1: go ask it Hea. He's going, I promise you he
- 18:12Speaker 1: gonna say no, right, honey, I told him, man four seven,
- 18:15Speaker 1: I ain't checked a side nine. Yeah you know what
- 18:20Speaker 1: about well what about the other night when you was
- 18:24Speaker 1: when you did all that new stuff to me? Yeah?
- 18:27Speaker 1: I frankly, I mean we ain't got to do it
- 18:31Speaker 1: no more? You know what I'm saying. I just don't
- 18:33Speaker 1: ask something where I get it from. You know what,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I always kind of been thinking that, you know what
- 18:39Speaker 1: I'm saying. Oh, you know they say change your behavior
- 18:42Speaker 1: definitely means cheating. Oh you know that that ain't got nothing?
- 18:47Speaker 1: Who is it? Who said that? Who are you going
- 18:50Speaker 1: there with it? Who is there? They probably buy their
- 18:52Speaker 1: damn s always right, always. Oh, so you're gonna listen
- 18:59Speaker 1: to them instead of me? I'm your man. Here we go,
- 19:03Speaker 1: Here we go. All right, We're moving on d Z
- 19:08Speaker 1: in Alabama says I'm a twenty five year old woman
- 19:11Speaker 1: and I'm pregnant with my first child. My baby is
- 19:15Speaker 1: by a married man, and his wife found out about
- 19:18Speaker 1: the baby. We live in a small city and she's
- 19:21Speaker 1: got a good job, so to avoid embarrassment, she wants
- 19:24Speaker 1: to act like I'm having the baby for her as
- 19:28Speaker 1: a surrogate. She wants to raise my child, and she said,
- 19:31Speaker 1: it's the only way my child will ever see his father. Wow.
- 19:36Speaker 1: If I take them to court for child support, everyone
- 19:39Speaker 1: will know our business. I'm stuck and feel like I
- 19:42Speaker 1: have no other options. What should I do? Now? Wow,
- 19:45Speaker 1: you don't have any other options for what can't nobody
- 19:48Speaker 1: make you do that? And raise nobody? Only nobody? Buffalo
- 19:53Speaker 1: you like it. You're the mother of the baby, right, Oh,
- 19:56Speaker 1: that supersedes all other rights and claims, and so what
- 20:01Speaker 1: if everybody know your business? You're gonna let this woman
- 20:05Speaker 1: take your baby from you because she got a good job.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Hold up health, Why don't I post what you said
- 20:12Speaker 1: on Facebook? How about that? You know why I report
- 20:18Speaker 1: to your job that you're trying to bully me out
- 20:21Speaker 1: my baby? Why don't we do that? Nah? Who got
- 20:26Speaker 1: the upper hand? That's right, that's right. You can't do
- 20:30Speaker 1: that to this girl. And he got to pay child support.
- 20:34Speaker 1: It's paternity tests. It ain't nothing. Ye give a damn
- 20:39Speaker 1: part of her good ass job. I'm gonna be paying
- 20:41Speaker 1: child support, thank you very much. All right, thank you, cello.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Coming up back to this is the nephew would run
- 20:52Speaker 1: that prank back right after this. You're listening, coming up

- 21:35Speaker 1: better way to swim. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 21:39Speaker 1: a carry. Yes, this is carried. Hi Carrie, my name
- 21:45Speaker 1: is Oliver. Oliver. You put in an application with the
- 21:49Speaker 1: employment agency about looking fortunate work as far as being
- 21:52Speaker 1: a lifeguard. Oh, yeah, I did. Okay. Have you had
- 21:56Speaker 1: much experience being a lifeguard? Yeah, I've been doing this
- 22:00Speaker 1: for a wound out back since I was like eighteen.
- 22:04Speaker 1: I got my CPR certification. I've had as many as
- 22:09Speaker 1: like two hundred people at one time watching them. So
- 22:13Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm good at what I do. I love it.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Very good, very good. Well, I'll tell you what. I've
- 22:19Speaker 1: looked over your application and I've checked everything out thoroughly,
- 22:22Speaker 1: and I'm very excited about maybe getting you too. I
- 22:26Speaker 1: don't know if you're familiar with it, but Public Pool
- 22:28Speaker 1: it's actually in a subdivision there's two pools there, are
- 22:32Speaker 1: you familiar with Yeah, I'm familiar with it. They're they're
- 22:35Speaker 1: near where I live. Yeah, okay, Well there's actually in
- 22:39Speaker 1: the back of there's a gated community and that is
- 22:43Speaker 1: actually the particular property that I'm talking about. You coming
- 22:46Speaker 1: out and working for us there at the pool site.
- 22:50Speaker 1: If we can get you on Monday to Friday, we're
- 22:52Speaker 1: gonna actually hire some some more college students for Saturday
- 22:57Speaker 1: and Sunday. What do you say, Oh, I say, okay,
- 23:00Speaker 1: that sounds great money weekends off. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Now
- 23:05Speaker 1: we start off. Job actually pays twenty five dollars an hour. Wow.
- 23:11Speaker 1: You would be our head lifeguard, and we would we
- 23:15Speaker 1: would want you to be there from you know. I
- 23:17Speaker 1: mean if you start at twelve, we'd actually like you
- 23:19Speaker 1: to get there around eleven thirty, you know, just to
- 23:22Speaker 1: be prepared and be the overseer and make sure the
- 23:25Speaker 1: other lifeguards get there on time, and you know, we'll
- 23:28Speaker 1: go from there. I carry there's only one catch that
- 23:31Speaker 1: that actually comes along with this job. We want you
- 23:34Speaker 1: to work an additional four hours from six to ten
- 23:38Speaker 1: at night. But it's gonna pay you fifty dollars per hour.
- 23:41Speaker 1: So you'll make an extra two hundred dollars. How do
- 23:43Speaker 1: you feel about that? Man? I feel good. I mean,
- 23:46Speaker 1: with the recession and everything, I can use that money
- 23:49Speaker 1: right now, especially during the summertime. Okay, now here's the deal.
- 23:54Speaker 1: This is in a gated community, like I told you before,
- 23:56Speaker 1: but also it's gonna be adults at night, and and
- 24:00Speaker 1: they are actually gonna be swimming nude. Yeah, they're gonna
- 24:05Speaker 1: be swimming nude. And what they ask is if they're
- 24:07Speaker 1: gonna be swimming nude, they want to make sure that
- 24:10Speaker 1: the lifeguard that's protecting them is gonna be nude as well. Okay,
- 24:15Speaker 1: I'm anna certified lifeguard, I'm CPR certified. I'm a student.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I've had other jobs, but nudity wasn't on my resume,
- 24:25Speaker 1: and and I understand that wholeheartedly. But we're talking about
- 24:30Speaker 1: you possibly making seventeen hundred and fifty dollars a week.
- 24:32Speaker 1: How do you feel about seventeen hundred and fifty a
- 24:34Speaker 1: week for your nursing school. I'm sure that'll that'll definitely
- 24:37Speaker 1: pay for it throughout the entire summer. That should be
- 24:40Speaker 1: a big help, shouldn't it. Yeah? It would, But I
- 24:45Speaker 1: mean I mean, are are you? How do you feel
- 24:47Speaker 1: about trying it for a few weeks and then you know,
- 24:50Speaker 1: how do you feel about that? I don't know, But
- 24:54Speaker 1: I mean, you're gonna watch over some adults who are
- 24:57Speaker 1: actually just gonna be nude in the pool, and you're
- 25:00Speaker 1: nude as well, up on the big chair that overwatches everybody.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Seventeen fifty I don't seventeen fifty carry, you know, I
- 25:12Speaker 1: don't think I'm gonna be able to do that seventeen
- 25:15Speaker 1: fifty carry. We're talking about four hours of you being
- 25:19Speaker 1: nude along with some other people that are already knew. So,
- 25:21Speaker 1: I mean, what's the big deal? You know? What we
- 25:23Speaker 1: need you to do is come down. We're gonna do
- 25:25Speaker 1: some drills, some lifeguard drills, and make sure that you're
- 25:28Speaker 1: definitely qualified. But we're gonna make sure that when you
- 25:30Speaker 1: do those, you gotta be naked as well. Okay, what
- 25:34Speaker 1: what Why would I have to do some drills naked?
- 25:37Speaker 1: I'm on a radio lifeguard. What do I need to drill?
- 25:40Speaker 1: And I understand that, but in order we for our
- 25:43Speaker 1: particular property, we gotta make sure that you're actually prepared
- 25:46Speaker 1: and ready. You know, understand, Well, that's the way it is, Carrot.
- 25:50Speaker 1: We need you to come down and do some drills. Well,
- 25:54Speaker 1: it's not gonna take a long probably about a half hour.
- 25:56Speaker 1: You come down, you get undrafted, you get in the pool,
- 25:58Speaker 1: and we make sure that you're qualified by UM to swim, nude,
- 26:02Speaker 1: to handle to saving somebody's life, nude, the whole nine yards.
- 26:06Speaker 1: But what I mean, what if my family come to that?
- 26:10Speaker 1: You know what? Carry I You know, I can't go
- 26:12Speaker 1: back and forth with you. I can't now. I know
- 26:15Speaker 1: you you you know. I looked at your resume, I
- 26:17Speaker 1: looked at what you were doing and what you're pursuing
- 26:18Speaker 1: in life, and I thought this would be a great
- 26:20Speaker 1: opportunity for you. But I can't be here. I mean,
- 26:23Speaker 1: I can't do that to my family. You can know. No,
- 26:26Speaker 1: wait a minute, hang on a second. Now, you can't
- 26:28Speaker 1: tell me you can't do it now? Oh yes, yes
- 26:31Speaker 1: I can't. You get your down here in the morning
- 26:34Speaker 1: so I can get these drills done, and I want
- 26:36Speaker 1: you naked when you get here and get in this pool.
- 26:38Speaker 1: You understand me. Who the hell do you think you're
- 26:41Speaker 1: talking to? Are you some kind of pool pimp? Life guard?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Human resources are and tip? You're not tipping me. I
- 26:47Speaker 1: don't have to come down there. If I want to
- 26:49Speaker 1: come down there, you gotta bring you pick it out
- 26:52Speaker 1: here tomorrow and get in this pool and doing this drill.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Do you think you're talking to I'm talking to you.

- 34:09Speaker 1: worse by panicky and hoarding Gasolee and thar I say
- 34:12Speaker 1: please don't do that. You don't have to. Colonial says

- 34:48Speaker 1: right after his death showed him with his hands on
- 34:50Speaker 1: his wheel on the wheel outside his home, with one

- 35:35Speaker 1: Chaney from her post's House GOP Conference chairwoman today for
- 35:38Speaker 1: no other reason, apparently than the fact that Cheney won't
- 35:41Speaker 1: tell the line and continue claiming that the last presidential
- 35:44Speaker 1: election was fraudulent and that Donald Trump really won. She
- 35:46Speaker 1: says she's not gonna lie about that, and Republicans need
- 35:48Speaker 1: to stop lying to everybody else. Finally, a new poll
- 35:52Speaker 1: says that the majority of Americans blame social media sites

- 36:45Speaker 1: according to Triple A. The Colonial Pipeline, which supplies nearly
- 36:49Speaker 1: half the diesel and gasoline to the East Coast, says
- 36:53Speaker 1: it hopes to be substantially operational by the end of
- 36:57Speaker 1: the week. The criminal group Dark Side out of Russia
- 37:02Speaker 1: is believed to be responsible for the pipeline cyber attack. Wow,
- 37:07Speaker 1: you can't even give games, I know, I know, I know.
- 37:12Speaker 1: We're already now we got a pandemic with no gas. Yeah, yeah,
- 37:17Speaker 1: I mean I heard a lot of the guys at
- 37:19Speaker 1: family feud uh yesterday, was talking about they couldn't get games.
- 37:23Speaker 1: They couldn't. Yeah, they had to go to two three
- 37:26Speaker 1: stations before they found gas, you know. Yeah. Yeah, that's
- 37:31Speaker 1: how I found out about it. Yeah, this is crazy.
- 37:34Speaker 1: It's been all over the news, it has. I heard
- 37:37Speaker 1: about the cyber attack. But you didn't think that it
- 37:39Speaker 1: would affect us the way it did. Yeah, and so fast.
- 37:43Speaker 1: So it's yeah, they said it would be higher gas
- 37:47Speaker 1: prices maybe, but they didn't say anything about the long
- 37:49Speaker 1: lines and you actually couldn't get gas. They did say
- 37:52Speaker 1: it might you know, dru make the prices go up,
- 37:56Speaker 1: walk walk more? What now so they get it worked out? Yeah,
- 38:02Speaker 1: well they said, hopefully by the end of the week.
- 38:05Speaker 1: You know, run your errands all at one time. Yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 1: in one area too. Can you take me to is
- 38:16Speaker 1: out of question? Now you actually pumped gas? Woo you.
- 38:28Speaker 1: When's the last time you actually pumped gas back in
- 38:35Speaker 1: the day in the eighties. I pump gas probably in
- 38:44Speaker 1: like about two thousand and three, two thousand. You don't
- 38:48Speaker 1: know how. We're using gloves and napkins to punch the buttons, right,
- 38:53Speaker 1: we're trying not to touch the nozzle pe you're putting

- 40:28Speaker 1: way they're cleansing right now? Have you noticed that? Absolutely, Shirley.
- 40:34Speaker 1: What's going on is people are doing two and three
- 40:37Speaker 1: cleanses back to back to to because of the fact that,
- 40:42Speaker 1: to be honest, pandemic they're calling it the pandemic fifteen
- 40:45Speaker 1: where you gain fifteen pounds, But to be honest, people

- 40:51Speaker 1: relief and they're cleansing back to back to back to
- 40:55Speaker 1: try to get that weight off. Oh. So that's what's changed.
- 40:58Speaker 1: They're not just doing it one time. And and we're
- 41:02Speaker 1: all living proof because we've all done the cleans. It
- 41:04Speaker 1: does get the weight off, it really does. Yeah, it's
- 41:08Speaker 1: a lot in there. That's why you gotta keep doing it.
- 41:10Speaker 1: It's a lot in there right now. I'm on it.
- 41:15Speaker 1: I'm on it right now too. And Steve had to
- 41:19Speaker 1: do it. When I came out of Africa, I called
- 41:21Speaker 1: a D. I went to La for a day, picked
- 41:24Speaker 1: my wife up and ask a D and he dropped
- 41:26Speaker 1: one off at the hotel for me. I should appreciate it, brother,
- 41:29Speaker 1: I'm lying down so far. There you go. And you
- 41:36Speaker 1: know what gets you to that twenty? That chalcole see
- 41:39Speaker 1: that charcoal gets you to that twenty. I know it
- 41:43Speaker 1: looked triful. It looked like you you don't want to
- 41:45Speaker 1: try get it in right. So, so, I mean, you've
- 41:50Speaker 1: heard two testimonies from Steve and Tommy right now. So
- 41:54Speaker 1: we know that the Dearb's Full body cleanses the way
- 41:56Speaker 1: to go. So we got to ask you, business must
- 41:59Speaker 1: be just crazy right now? Surely it is. People are
- 42:03Speaker 1: actually realizing their health is their wealth and doing the
- 42:08Speaker 1: Dear full body cleans, they're seeing results like weight loss
- 42:12Speaker 1: between ten to thirty pounds, a huge boosey energy, stronger
- 42:16Speaker 1: immune system. We already know how important that is. Right now,
- 42:19Speaker 1: just trying to get your body where it needs to
- 42:22Speaker 1: be because that's your last line of defense. And then
- 42:24Speaker 1: also clearer skin. You'll be able to focus and concentrate
- 42:28Speaker 1: a whole lot better just doing the cleans. To be honest,
- 42:31Speaker 1: it's gonna make you safer. What I mean by that
- 42:35Speaker 1: is that people have to understand that their last line
- 42:39Speaker 1: of defense is their immune system. They're already talking. You know,
- 42:43Speaker 1: you gotta have this distance. When you eat, you don't
- 42:46Speaker 1: need a man, but when you go over here in
- 42:48Speaker 1: the restaurant, you need a man. They don't really exactly
- 42:51Speaker 1: know what's going on. If you notice, the rules are
- 42:54Speaker 1: constantly changing. So I just want to make sure that
- 42:57Speaker 1: people are understanding that your last line of defense is
- 43:01Speaker 1: you putting forth the effort take getting your body to
- 43:04Speaker 1: a help your plate. Wow, that's the goal. And you
- 43:10Speaker 1: can eat on this cleanse That is the best part.
- 43:15Speaker 1: You know, I'm on it, and that is the thing
- 43:17Speaker 1: that's different from a lot of cleans. You can eat,
- 43:20Speaker 1: But the cleanrance part really does work all right. This
- 43:24Speaker 1: offer is only for our audience by using the promo
- 43:28Speaker 1: code radio that is a letter d Herbs dot com
- 43:32Speaker 1: promo code radio, or you can simply call eight sixty
- 43:35Speaker 1: six four d Herbs. That's eight sixty six the number
- 43:38Speaker 1: four D Herbs, the de Herbs full body cleans. You
- 43:41Speaker 1: heard it. It'll flush out those toxins that are dragging

- 43:58Speaker 1: man for dtail boxing us and getting us right. Yeah, man,

- 44:06Speaker 1: for you guys. I love you guys. Have a wonderful day.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Thank you you too. Coming up next, the nephew is
- 44:13Speaker 1: here with the frank phone call. You're listening to Steve
- 44:19Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:23Speaker 1: right about four minutes after, it's my strawberry letter for today.
- 44:26Speaker 1: The subject she's getting more than money from him. But
- 44:30Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 44:34Speaker 1: What you got for us in f you're not graduating.
- 44:39Speaker 1: I hate to be the bear of bad news. You
- 44:46Speaker 1: are not graduating. Always goad. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 44:53Speaker 1: reach a trava please this hamble of this. This is
- 44:58Speaker 1: my name is Joseph work over Student Affairs. How are
- 45:01Speaker 1: you doing today? I'm good? How are you? I'm good? Listen,
- 45:04Speaker 1: you're supposed to be um. This is your fifth year
- 45:08Speaker 1: here at the university. You're graduating and in the next
- 45:12Speaker 1: seven eight days? Am I right? Yes? There at this
- 45:15Speaker 1: joint Okay, listen, I'm giving you a call. We got
- 45:19Speaker 1: a bit of a problem here that we want to
- 45:22Speaker 1: try and discuss with you, and maybe we can get
- 45:24Speaker 1: you over at student Affairs and come in and have
- 45:26Speaker 1: a meeting with us. But we wanted to bring it
- 45:27Speaker 1: to your attention now. You took a one of your
- 45:31Speaker 1: last subjects was English, uh, and you had an English
- 45:34Speaker 1: exam with a You guys are writing an essay? Am
- 45:38Speaker 1: I am? I am? I correct about that? Yeah? Yeah,
- 45:42Speaker 1: that's true. Okay, see that we got some problems here
- 45:45Speaker 1: that the professor there is actually a senior meeting that
- 45:48Speaker 1: you may have cheated on this on this essay that
- 45:51Speaker 1: you've actually written cheated. No, I mean from from what
- 45:57Speaker 1: he's telling us here at Student Affairs is that you
- 45:59Speaker 1: may have plagiarized some things that uh that we're in
- 46:03Speaker 1: your essay. Dude, No, I didn't. I didn't plagiarize nothing
- 46:06Speaker 1: that was in the essay. Everything is documented like it
- 46:08Speaker 1: should be, So I don't know what you're talking about,
- 46:11Speaker 1: especially cheating on no exam or no paper nothing like that.
- 46:14Speaker 1: You must got me mixed up with somebody else. No, no, no,
- 46:16Speaker 1: not at all. You're actually mister Travan. Correct. I mean
- 46:19Speaker 1: that's me. But I didn't cheat on no exam. But
- 46:22Speaker 1: that matter. Okay, Well, let me let me try to
- 46:24Speaker 1: bring you up to speed here at Travan. What we're
- 46:26Speaker 1: gonna need is we're gonna need you to actually come
- 46:28Speaker 1: in and talk to us over here at Student Affairs
- 46:31Speaker 1: so we can try to get this thing rectified. But
- 46:34Speaker 1: I will let you know, it's gonna take a few
- 46:36Speaker 1: more days longer than graduation. So as of right now,
- 46:40Speaker 1: you're actually not gonna be walking uh and graduating with
- 46:43Speaker 1: the rest of the students. Man, dude, man, you got
- 46:47Speaker 1: me messed up. What's what do you mean I'm not
- 46:48Speaker 1: gonna be walking well, until we get this situation rectified here,
- 46:52Speaker 1: you're not gonna be graduating with the rest of the
- 46:55Speaker 1: students now, Dot. I don't know what you gotta do,
- 46:58Speaker 1: but y'all need to figure it out or find out
- 46:59Speaker 1: what the problem. Man. I ain't cheat on no exam
- 47:01Speaker 1: there you're talking about. Dude. My family is coming down here,
- 47:04Speaker 1: and you're talking about cheating on an English exam. They
- 47:06Speaker 1: look like cheating on an example. And I'm getting ready
- 47:08Speaker 1: to graduate. Man, Now, y'all need to fix it, like
- 47:11Speaker 1: right now, like today while we're on the phone. We
- 47:13Speaker 1: can't do that. It's a little it's a sensitive subject
- 47:15Speaker 1: and like I said, it seems like it's plagiarism. You know,
- 47:18Speaker 1: if we can get you to actually come over the
- 47:20Speaker 1: student affairs next wednesday, man, Man, you got me, So
- 47:24Speaker 1: what do you mean next wednesday? Dude, I'm graduating in
- 47:27Speaker 1: a few days. Think you saw about next wednesday? Man,
- 47:30Speaker 1: why don't my professor didn't give me a call? Why
- 47:32Speaker 1: are you calling me, sir? This is not something that
- 47:35Speaker 1: professors actually take care of. This is a student affair
- 47:37Speaker 1: situation now, and it's a very sensitive situation. And what
- 47:40Speaker 1: we want to do is try to get this thing
- 47:42Speaker 1: taken care of. And if you if what you're saying
- 47:44Speaker 1: is actually true, then you're probably graduating. Man, got me.
- 47:50Speaker 1: I'm telling you writing that this is a you got me? August.
- 47:54Speaker 1: I'm graduating. This to met to me here too long
- 47:58Speaker 1: to go through some my last few weeks school and
- 48:00Speaker 1: you talk about August. I ain't even right here, man.
- 48:06Speaker 1: You didn't even time to hear what you got to say. Man,
- 48:08Speaker 1: my family is coming down here from everywhere to see
- 48:10Speaker 1: me graduate. Now I'm the first to graduate from my family.
- 48:13Speaker 1: You talk about some tut about my cheat on the paper,
- 48:16Speaker 1: a paper due a paper? Man, you come here, Man,
- 48:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna work two and three to see me through
- 48:22Speaker 1: the school and now I'm coming getting rid of to graduate,
- 48:25Speaker 1: and you're talking about how to wait until August a graduate. Man.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Hell no, I'm on my way to the office right now.
- 48:31Speaker 1: And you can tell whoever the professor is, that I'm
- 48:33Speaker 1: on my way and he needs to be there too, Sir.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I can really tell you that we can try and
- 48:37Speaker 1: get this thing rectified and earlier the next Wednesday. Man,
- 48:40Speaker 1: what's your name again? And where's where's your office? I'm
- 48:43Speaker 1: in Josh. Okay, okay, okay, okay. So I'm about to
- 48:46Speaker 1: get in my car right now, and I'm about to
- 48:48Speaker 1: come over there, and we're gonna handle it today. And
- 48:51Speaker 1: how are you singing to me cheating on the exam paper? Man?
- 48:54Speaker 1: Is that sing is the professor? Maslagiarism? Here? Are you
- 49:00Speaker 1: kidding me? Do I've been in five Yes, I'm the
- 49:05Speaker 1: first lay to graduate from Commers. Man, my grandma is
- 49:08Speaker 1: eighty two? He is old? Is she coming in and
- 49:11Speaker 1: see me graduate? And you're telling me about teen on
- 49:14Speaker 1: the papers? And I got away to all get a graduates. Man, Man,
- 49:18Speaker 1: you tell the professor to come to your office right now,
- 49:21Speaker 1: because I'm already in my car on my way to
- 49:23Speaker 1: come to your office. And we're gonna handing this today,
- 49:26Speaker 1: said man, you got me. I don't have any more
- 49:29Speaker 1: room or my schedule to actually pull anybody in today
- 49:32Speaker 1: or you're gonna call me with a like this, So
- 49:35Speaker 1: you ain't got room in your schedule. Man, Hell now,
- 49:38Speaker 1: miss missile whatever your name is, I'm on my way
- 49:41Speaker 1: to your office room, and I tell you, I gonna
- 49:44Speaker 1: tell you, and I'm telling you up front it's gonna
- 49:46Speaker 1: be a problem. I ain't graduating in a few days.
- 49:49Speaker 1: You got to deal with me. You got to deal
- 49:51Speaker 1: with my family and my mama. Where donna play this thing?
- 49:53Speaker 1: You got a start, sir, I understand. Is there a
- 49:57Speaker 1: possibility that maybe you plagiarize and didn't know that you
- 50:00Speaker 1: did that? You mean the paper was off? Ahead? And now, sir?
- 50:04Speaker 1: Can I can? I? Can? I tell you one more
- 50:06Speaker 1: thing and then and then all that? I can't tell you, man,
- 50:08Speaker 1: you're not ready to call me with somebody. I can't
- 50:10Speaker 1: graduate with my class as I didn't been this for
- 50:13Speaker 1: five years, the second path and sun in my top
- 50:16Speaker 1: and you're telling me I can't graduate until August. You
- 50:18Speaker 1: ain't got to tell me. I do have one more
- 50:21Speaker 1: thing I need to tell you, and then I'll let
- 50:22Speaker 1: you be on your way. Okay, man, go ahead? Are
- 50:26Speaker 1: can I tell you what I want to tell you? Do?

- 54:03Speaker 1: the Strawberry Let it Thank you, nephew. Subject she's getting
- 54:08Speaker 1: more than money from him. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a
- 54:11Speaker 1: fifty one year old man and I have a wife,
- 54:14Speaker 1: but I haven't lived with her in four years. It's
- 54:17Speaker 1: a long story, but I'll try to make it brief.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Four years ago, my cousin had a bad divorce and
- 54:22Speaker 1: he needed somewhere to stay, so my wife and I
- 54:24Speaker 1: let him rent one of our side of a duplex
- 54:28Speaker 1: we own. I made him promise to be respectful to
- 54:31Speaker 1: my older tenant that shared the duplex with him, because
- 54:34Speaker 1: she's a Christian woman that loves peace and quiet. He
- 54:38Speaker 1: moved in and in less than two weeks, the old
- 54:41Speaker 1: lady called me to complain about sex noises coming from
- 54:44Speaker 1: his side of the duplex. I talked to my cousin
- 54:47Speaker 1: and asked him to knock it off. I worked full time,
- 54:50Speaker 1: so my wife manages our three properties and collects the rent.
- 54:54Speaker 1: But I'm the only one the old lady will talk to.
- 54:57Speaker 1: She's never liked my wife, and one evening, i'd stopped
- 55:00Speaker 1: by the duplex to put some reflective numbers on the
- 55:03Speaker 1: old lady's side of the duplex because she said her
- 55:06Speaker 1: girlfriends couldn't find her house at night. I pulled up
- 55:11Speaker 1: and my wife's car was parked in the side yard
- 55:14Speaker 1: out of plane view. I knocked on my cousin's door
- 55:17Speaker 1: several times and there was no answer. The old lady
- 55:19Speaker 1: came out of her door, and she told me that
- 55:21Speaker 1: they can't hear me knocking because they're in there having
- 55:25Speaker 1: sex and making a bunch of noise. I told her
- 55:29Speaker 1: that I think it's my wife in there, and she
- 55:31Speaker 1: reminded me that she has never liked my wife, and
- 55:34Speaker 1: then said this must be why. She told me that
- 55:38Speaker 1: the car is always over there, so my wife is
- 55:40Speaker 1: coming by for more than the rent money. I broke
- 55:44Speaker 1: the window and I got in there and tried to
- 55:47Speaker 1: body slam my cousin. My wife moved out of our
- 55:51Speaker 1: house and into the raggedy duplex with my cousin. It's
- 55:55Speaker 1: been four years and they're still together. I still can't
- 55:58Speaker 1: get over it. How could they do this to me? Well,
- 56:05Speaker 1: because some people who just low down and evil. You know,
- 56:09Speaker 1: you may still be married on paper, but you don't
- 56:12Speaker 1: have a wife. You may as well let that go
- 56:14Speaker 1: because she let it go a long time ago. She
- 56:17Speaker 1: left you then way back, and we can't pick our relatives,
- 56:21Speaker 1: so he's gonna be your trifling cousin forever. My advice
- 56:26Speaker 1: to you is to first get a divorce, because clearly
- 56:30Speaker 1: this marriage is over. It's been four years. The next
- 56:33Speaker 1: thing I would do is put them out of the duplex.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Put him out. It's been four years. Your cousin should
- 56:38Speaker 1: be able to get his own place by now. He
- 56:41Speaker 1: shouldn't be living off you anyway. I mean, you said
- 56:43Speaker 1: you can't get over it, but you're gonna have to.
- 56:46Speaker 1: You're gonna have to move on with your life. I mean,
- 56:49Speaker 1: life does go on. Try to get back out there.
- 56:53Speaker 1: You know, if you have friends, you can hang out
- 56:55Speaker 1: with them to ease back into the dating scene. I
- 56:57Speaker 1: know you're fifty one. I know that. Um, but but
- 57:01Speaker 1: that's okay. You can ask a friend out for lunch,
- 57:04Speaker 1: you know, or for drinks. You gotta start going to
- 57:07Speaker 1: like get togethers and stuff like that, barbecues, church events,
- 57:10Speaker 1: comedy shows. Tommy aren't you? Aren't you touring? Now? Right?
- 57:13Speaker 1: You can go see Tommy he's touring again. Yeah, you know,
- 57:17Speaker 1: you gotta do things to get yourself out there. And
- 57:20Speaker 1: the more you get out there, the easy it's going
- 57:22Speaker 1: to be to get over your faithful, tricky, tricky tricky wife. Steve,
- 57:29Speaker 1: all boys matter right here is major league disappointing to me.
- 57:39Speaker 1: She's getting more than money from him. Now here's a
- 57:44Speaker 1: fifty year old guy, he says, And I have a wife,
- 57:49Speaker 1: but I ain't live with her in four years. Well,
- 57:53Speaker 1: you can quit calling her your wife. Foeyes, pree any pretty,
- 58:01Speaker 1: we passed a point of fixing four years. We did
- 58:09Speaker 1: this overdog. Your cousin had a bad divorce and he
- 58:14Speaker 1: needed somewhere to stay, which means she took him to
- 58:19Speaker 1: the cleaners. So he ain't got nothing. So your wife
- 58:24Speaker 1: let him rent or duplex, and then you promised to
- 58:27Speaker 1: be respectful of the older tenant that you share a
- 58:29Speaker 1: deep duplex with Christian moment, she liked peace and quiet.
- 58:33Speaker 1: After two weeks, the lady called to complain about sex
- 58:36Speaker 1: noises coming from his side of the deep duplex. So
- 58:40Speaker 1: you went in there and you talked to the dude,
- 58:42Speaker 1: told him to cut it out. You weren't full time,
- 58:44Speaker 1: so your wife manages the three properties and collects the rent.
- 58:48Speaker 1: But I'm the only person that the old lady would
- 58:50Speaker 1: talk to. She's never liked my wife. This is very
- 58:55Speaker 1: important information as we go forward in this letter. The
- 58:58Speaker 1: old lady knew something soon as she met her. All
- 59:04Speaker 1: women can pick up on trifling this in a young woman.
- 59:11Speaker 1: See one thing about women, y'all. Women know each other.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Women can fool us men, but they can't fool each other. Girl, girl, girl,
- 59:22Speaker 1: I know that I've seen this movie before. I know
- 59:25Speaker 1: this whole scene. What you're doing. Women know. Margie will
- 59:29Speaker 1: spot some stuff that I would never even dream of
- 59:32Speaker 1: looking at it. She tripping. So the old lady knew something.
- 59:36Speaker 1: One evening, stopped by the dplex. Put some reflective numbers
- 59:40Speaker 1: on the old ladies house coasting. They can't find her
- 59:43Speaker 1: house at night because they're old. You pull up in
- 59:46Speaker 1: the wife's car parked on the other side or out
- 59:49Speaker 1: of plane view. So you knocked on your cousin doing
- 59:52Speaker 1: and what no answer? The old lady came out of doing,
- 59:54Speaker 1: told me they can't hear you knocking because they are
- 59:57Speaker 1: not having sex and making a bunch of noise. Well,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I told her, I think that's my wife in there.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: She reminded me I have never liked her. Now she
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: and that bringing your cousin. You need to get the
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: bust and windows or something. All right, Steve, hold on,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: hold that thought. Okay, we'll have part two of your
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: response at twenty three minutes after be our strawberry letter
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: for today, she's getting more than money from him. We'll
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: strawberry letter. The subject she's getting more than money from him. Well,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna recap this letter and then we're gonna do
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: a liver reenactment. Okay, Shirley is gonna be the woman. Oh,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Tommy gonna be the guy. Tommy, Tommy, you know, try
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: for he got that. Tommy's gonna be the trifling cum Shirley.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: You're gonna be the woman that's in the house that's
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: been collecting the rent. I'm gonna be then old lady
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: next dough, sister, Old Dale, stay next dough. So here
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: we go. A fifty one year old man then rented
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: out his place to his cousin, told him be respectful
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: as an old lady live next dough, but the old
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: lady only talks to him because the old lady don't
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: like his wife, who controls the three properties and collects
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: all the rent. Well, two weeks into the cousin moving
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: in there at the lady calling complaining about loud sex
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: noises coming by. The guy goes over that one night
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: to change the reflective lightness on her address so her
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: people can see her address at night. He get over
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: there and the lady come out complaining again. Tom Mont
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: of some people in here having loud sex noises were
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: He noticed his wife's cars in the dryway out of
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: playing view, so he said, wait a minute, that ain't
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: that's my wife in there. The lady said, I told
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: you that I did not like hug. Now she ain't
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: here banging your cousin and you standing out here. So
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: now she told me that the car was always over there.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: So now my wife coming over from mold and rent money.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: So I broke the window and got in there and
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: tried to body slam my cousin. So I don't understand
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: this part of the letter. See if you broke the
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: window and you tried to body slam your cousin. See,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: once I break the window, it's unfinished business. That's just
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: the beginning. Breaking the window is a prelude me breaking
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: your ass. Seein, Yeah, we ain't got to that check.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: But if I broke this wind that stepped in here
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: and cutting my back of my thigh on this glass
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: because you got to climb through that window, you're gonna
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: cut your leg. Yeah, And he howled one. Yeah, he
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: can't get to no one. Yeah. So my wife moved
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: out of our house, and then too the raggedy dude
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: plector my cousin. It's been four years and they still together.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I still can't go over it, and how I still
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: can't get over how they do this to me, How
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: they did it, How they did it easy? They both tried,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: especially your wife. But why you hanging around? She don't
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: want you, and she don't deserve you. Now I'm understanding.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: What is it? You can't get over It's over. Everything's
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: over except you though. It's four years. So now here
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: we go. Here's the re enactment. Shirley, you in the
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: house with the man. I'm the old ladies sister, old
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Dale estate next door. Tommy, you the dude that's looking
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: for your wife when they got cheated up. Okay, that's
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: one that got cheated on. So is your overhill? Hello? Hello,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: oh hey, hey, how you doing my hold on? Shelly?
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: I'm talking Tommy then came over to the house, so
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: let me talk to Commy. We ain't bought you in
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: you you in the house. You ain't got nothing to
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: say right now? You busy, You ain't never making noise. Hey,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: miss Fraser, what do you want me to put the
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: reflectives are? So I can put him on his foot?
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I want you to put it in there cracking this
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: dough to stop some of this racket in him. It's
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: some people in there having sakes. Who and who got
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: hauling in there with him with him? I don't who
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: car the driveway that's my wife. That's my wife's car
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: right there, that's that's Joe that's joe Anne car right there,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: joe Anne, that's my wife car. Well, well, well I
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: told you I never liked a little hustle health anywhere.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Why that's joe Hellen that damn now, I don't you
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: tell me who once it is? She sounded all hard
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: and ball that I've been hitting five hours, Joanne? What
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: is you asking Joe Anne for? You know it's hugs?
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Your wife? Joe Anne? Shut up your two damn loud
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: in the skin, Marcus, I'm smuck mors. You calling Marcus phone?
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: That's money? Keep calling it people. Watch you bust the
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: one down with your stupid ass standing out here talking
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: about Marcus and joe Anne. You think I'm gonna cut
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: myself if I breaking one of you think'na cut myself doing?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Don't you think they aren't there cutting? Sound like somebody
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: getting sliced up? Pretty good to me, all right, all right,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: one the two three? Joey? What what's calling on you? Huh?
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: You heard him? Marcus mark Im I swam, I'm gonna try, Tom,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna try to body slam your ass market I

- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Wooden gonna star? What is we in here trying fall?

- 1:06:26Speaker 1: You ain't in here trying to do post your comments
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: on today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey. When we come back,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: we're gonna continue to reenact me. Look at me, Joey too,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: look at you. Look at her, she naked. We'll be
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: All right, we're back with part three of the Strawberry Letter.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: You know, sometimes it's so good we have to do
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: more than two parts. Let me set up to re enact. Men.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: What happened was a fifty one year old man let
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: his cousin stay in his house. The wife handles the
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: properties for her and her husband and this Christian woman
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: that shares the deep duplex. The husband told his cousin,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: don't make no noise because she's a Christian woman. She
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: liked nice and quiet. Two weeks into it, a lot
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: of sex noise coming from the house. The old lady
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: calls over and reports it. He goes over to the
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: house to change the address. One night he sees his
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: wife's cap in the driveway and he knocking on the
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: door to see where she in there. The old lady
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: come out and said, they can't hear you knocking because
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: they in the making sex noises. He said, well, I
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: think that's my wife in Now, well, the old lady going,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I told you I didn't like that, healther, And so
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: now the reenactment began. Shirley is the woman, Joe Anne
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: that's in the house. Marcus is the trifling cousin Tommy
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: he the husband husband in here. And since the old
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: dal stay next door, so now here we go, and
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: we on the porch and let's go. Or Eugene is
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: knocking on the door. Joe, it's her, Marcus, it's him.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Where me? She got the people's right, Marcus DeAndre Daniels,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I know you ain't in there with my wife. Marcus
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: and Joe and the hussy. I'm gonna bust this one.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: I'm telling you for the bust this wind. The fitness
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: fit in the shit the water was ya'll weighting on
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: you to do something? Two through who would have had
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Joe and damn it, Buster, what is your weight now
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: on your see you would here naked? Joey Uh, she
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: just ain't got no clothes off? Why Joe Aunt? Why
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: is you naked? Joe Aunt? I'm not naked. I got
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: clothes on. Babycting the rent. I'm gonna try to body
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: slam you. Marcould you hit me? Track? Track track doesn't
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: sound like they was in that trying. Sound like somebody
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: was getting something accomplished. It's been a half marked, it's
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: been to halp right here right when it go down
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: right here? No wonder she over here by you, Gene.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I'm with Marcus now, baby, bye, see you for years.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: All right, we'll leve more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Show coming up right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, we talked to you guys about
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: this earlier. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsche Williams is
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: trending majorly these days because she announced yesterday that she
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: is engaged to her friends soon to be ex husband, Simon.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Porsche announced that she and Simon have only been dating
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: for a month. That's okay, though, because they are crazy
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: in love and now engaged. Sometimes you know, you just
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: know it doesn't take long. It's a month and you're
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: crazy in love. Yeah, her friend is in the process
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: of finalizing her divorce from her husband of two years,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: and Porsche says she has nothing to do with that.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: That's between the two of them. Her friend Fallon, who
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: came on the show Real Housewives of Atlanta as a
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: friend of Porsche's. So the question is, and Porsche said
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: they weren't friends by the way, Porsche said, she is
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: not my friend the show. Yeah right, but yeah, but
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: that's not what it appeared that that was her friend
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: and that she was going over her friend's house, and
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: that she was going swimming over her friend's house and
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: he was there. Her friend's husband was there at the time.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: So now you are dating this man and dating him
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: from Gay and now you're in Gay but where he
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: saw all that getting into pool? Yes, that one is
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: beautiful too though. Yeah. So so our question is, did
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Porsche break the girl code never go after your friend's X.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Oh and you know what, there's another rumor that she
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: might be pregnant too. There's in that room. Well, Porsche, Yeah,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: it's a last for thirty days. You hit me, you
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: hit me X. There's a rumor that she might be pregnant. Yeah,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: but you know sometimes sometimes all is fair in love
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: and ward they say, if he's rich and this guy's rich,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: So I don't know. I think the money had a
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: lot to do with the two and the fact that
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: didn't you say earlier she's doing a show about this, Well,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: she's doing a show about her life. So they're saying
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: she said that this had nothing to do with it.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: It's just the timing of it all for this to
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: come out and then now you're getting a spin off
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: because you know she had to spend off before about
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: her having her baby. But I just think it's just
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: you know, she broke girl cold. You don't go after
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: her friends X right like that, and their divorce is
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: not even final a lot, I know, but poor she
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: said again, they are not friends. That's what she said.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: So how she get on the show? To how do
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: woman get on the show? And you all those reality shows,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: sometimes they just made her friends. They do that. Sometimes
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: they do that. They'll introduce this person as a friend,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: bring her in, it's her friend. But in this case,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I know it's been going on lower than thirty days
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: that ain't not that's A and b J. That's that's stupid. Friend.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: We're talking about girl code. Do you guys have a
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: man code like with one of you guys? Absolutely Mary,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: one of your friend's wife, if your friend wife, No,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: not at all. So that say code and girl cold
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: cross the board, the marriage code, the divorce code. Whatever.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: Still go back to my part of time, had man
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: me get together? Now that sounds like no, you can't
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: do that though, Plus every time you see me when
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: you did that, I mean, I mean, you know with me,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: and it's just not safe. It's just not safe because
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: men's reaction can also times be violent. But if there's
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: a lot of money involved, does that change the dynamic
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I'm asking it just becomes a more expensive ass woman,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: that's all to do. Well, let me ask you this
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: because she claims they weren't friends. So what if you
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: and the guy weren't that close with y'all? You know,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: you have been over his house, you know, kicking it
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: over there. Look, look, if you're not friends, that's a
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: different thing. Well that's what she's saying. But you know,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: I mean once you've been over to the house. Yes,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying you can't. That's that's kind
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: of shady. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean you was over here.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: You obviously saw something you liked. Why you was over here.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: Now you made it a point to get it. So
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: since you got it, let me give you a little
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: something else with it, and congratulations are in order. By
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: the way, we'll have more Steve Harvey Morning Show at
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour, right after this you're listening show. Well,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: there's a poll out that shows Americans are growing wary
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: of social media. A new poll shows a growing majority
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: of Americans believe social media is dividing the nation more
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: than it brings people to other The latest NBC News
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: national poll found that sixty four percent of Americans think
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: social media platforms do more to tear us apart. By contrast,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: just twenty seven percent of all adults believe that those
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: platforms bring us together more than sixty six percent of
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: us use the platforms at least once a day, let's
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: say at least once a day. That data reflects a
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: majority among Republicans, Independents, and Democrats. Back in March of
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, a similar poll found that fifty seven percent
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: of Americans said social media divides us. What do you think,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Steve and I don't really it's to me, it's not
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: a lot of them. It's not a lot of great value.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: It's not a lot of upside. I think the downside
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: of social media far outways the upside by a long shot,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: because it's so much intended. Yeah, it's so much intended
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: to be negative on there. Even though you can use
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: it for some great reasons and purposes. He can be great, beneficial,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: but it's so much hate. I mean, those riotous all
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: of them got coordinated, you know, with social media. The
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Proud Boys, all the organizations was up there using it.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: So yeah, I agree. I just think I just think, yeah,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: I think it's used to harm being good. Yeah, all right,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Show coming up at thirty three minutes after. Right after this,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: time now for ask the ClOH This one is from
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Kim in Detroit. Kim writes, I need your honest opinion
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: about my man. I'm not an insecure woman at all,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: so I don't mind that my boyfriend works in the
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: sex industry. In fact, I met him at the swingers
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: club that he works in. I just happened to go
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: to the club Saturday night without telling him I was coming,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: and I walked up on him kissing a email at
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: the bar. He turned bright red when he saw me.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: He said, it's part of his job as bartender to
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: entice women to get more drinks. Is it wrong to
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: get mad if he's swinging at work without me knowing it?

- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Moving on to Jasmine, who's a podcast listener, she says,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: I've been dating a man for seven months and he's
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: really sweeting normally, but I don't know what's happened to
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: him last weekend. He treated me to a Mother's Day
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: dinner on Sunday and he bought the sandals I asked
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: for the only problem is he got a size nine
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: and I wear a seven. And later that night he
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: did stuff he'd never done to me sexually and I
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: didn't like it. I think he's got a big foot
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: side piece that's freakier than I am. That nine. Come on,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: because he was thinking about something. What size you want?
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Give me a nine? If she don't want it, I
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: got somewhere to take it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, she
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: did something to you and you ain't like it. Yeah,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: there's somebody else. You wear a seven and he bought
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: a nine. Yeah, he can look at that shoe. No,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: that's a big difference between seventy nine. Right, coming up,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: it is our last break of the day on this Wednesday,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: and we'll have some closing remarks from the one and
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes after right after
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: this you're listening show, all right Here we are, guys,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: our last break of the day on this hump day.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Thanks to our remember today, Yeah, ady Dolphin always keeping
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: us healthy, you know, telling us how to detox and
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: and eat right. And you know he claimed us out
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: this morning. Now that's what he did. He claimed us out.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: This moment. Steve's already lost nine pounds just today on
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: this Wednesday. But you know, I just did it. Uh.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: I don't think I'm gonna do the whole twenty days
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: because I just did it to detox when I came
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: off the trip. And now that I'm back at work
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: at Family Feud, I you know, my brain operates. I
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: gotta have more cars, you know, I gotta have some
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: carbs because carbs is brain fuel, you know. And I've
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: been on these vegetables for a while now, so you
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: know I feel better. Yes, ma'am. I had a question
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: about Family Feud. How is it taping now this season?
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: You know that the pandemic versus last time with celebrity
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: Family Feud? Are you still well? At least? Now? We
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: have an audience. We have about thirty audience members plus
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the family, so we're looking at about you know, fifty people,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: sixty fifty people out there all the time. They spread
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: them out except for the families. They said together, but
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: the audience members are well spread apart. They all got
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: on man, so like, you can't tell if they're smiling, Okay,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: that's a little hurtful for stand up, then you can't
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: really tell, but you know, if they and like okay,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: like to start the season Saturday, I had to do
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: a COVID test. So when I pulled up on the
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: set yesterday morning, they told me I had to do
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: another COVID test And I said, well, Dren, what was
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: the COVID test for Saturday? It was just Tuesday? What
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: the hell did it happened? You ain't get the results
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: back to Sunday. I'm at work on Tuesday. Well, we
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: have to test every other day, and to get your
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: cycle the same as everybody else, you have to test
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: two days in a row. I said, that don't make
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: no damn sense. Why don't you just test me when
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: you test everybody else? Well, you would have had that
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: needed another test, And they don't give a damn who
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: you are star this show or not. Man you do
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: we ain't got no show. We ain't feeling nothing. That's
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: when I keep telling to let. I said, ma'am, you
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: know I'm fascinated. I'm being careful. But if you test
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: me and I come up positive, everybody going home, well
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: you know we have to notify you ain't got to
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: notify nothing. It's over. It's over. They do a really
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: good job of precautions here. Out of Triller Studios here
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: in Atlanta, and they're doing it really really good, y'ab
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: old man. They above and beyond, so it's really safe.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: You know, we were very fortunate and last year with
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: family feud that were zero cases contracted or contacted any
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: whatever you want to call it, zero cases on our set.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Last year swept very very fortunate in that, you know.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: So that's just a little bit of normalcy coming back.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: You got your audience, and yeah, that's cool. Cool. I mean,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: you know it's helpful, you know, because it's it's hard, man,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I'm telling it's hard being funny with no audience. Yeah,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: mask oh man, yes, sir. I look at Late Night
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: TV nine completely different because you know, they don't have
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: an audience and they in there trying to in their
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: living room, trying to get it, and I'm like, God,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: an audience bad. You know, it's ugly certain days though.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: You been seeing them slowly but surely getting back into
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: the studio, but still get audiences part of it. Huh
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: you got you need that energy, That's what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: Did you ever think it's important? Did you ever think
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: as a comedian, guys, that it would be like this,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: that you would perform without an audience. I never I
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: never thought I'd go to that drought we went to
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: that long No. I mean that's an almost unthinkable that
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: that we would be forced to perform with no audiences.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: That that's unthinkable, because that's the very reason why you
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: do it. Yeah, you thrive off of it. Got to
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: have it. Yeah, we get well, all right, we're getting
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: back Yeah, slowly, but surely Tommy's on sure, m I'm
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: sure Junior, you'll be getting back on oh in the
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: middle of the summer. Yeah, and exclamations for mm hmm. Yeah,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: so we can get back to that's going to see
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: folks perform live. And you know how I want to
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: go to this? Yeah? Me too. You want to be entertained, man,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: I want to see somebody live with some good music. Yeah,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: oh yeah, yeah, yeah, who would you want it? Well,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: I mean that's obvious Joe to see. But that's who
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Junior I want to say. I mean, well, sure, I
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: can't see them. They're not getting back out of the
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: road again. You don't think they're gonna get back to you.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: When you when you heard Joe he was coming to Atlanta,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: when you heard it, anywhere I'm buying tickets. Baby, it'll
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: be to step over and sit down somewhere to stop. Well, now,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: twelve to fifteen year olds can get their vaccination, so
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: we could reach that herd immunity if they I asked
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: my daughter, she's thirteen. I asked her that she wanted
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: to get in saying to say yes. She says she
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: believes in science. She believes in it. And you know
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: they want. You know, we don't know what it's like
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: to go to school with mask on, not to do
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: all of the things. You know, they look at it different.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: A lot of people are not comfortable letting their kids
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: get yes. I understand that too. I understand that. I
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: understand I can't walk you to your locker. Well, let's
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: see y'all. Y'all have a great day. Talk to God.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: Everybody'd love to hear from you. We'll see y'all. The
