- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all have a suit on giving them like
- 0:15Speaker 1: the million buck things in its tubings me through good
- 0:24Speaker 1: to mother, Stay, I don't joining you turn you're going
- 1:10Speaker 1: to do? You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn them out to turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your baby, Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now for it only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show man. Instead of trying
- 2:13Speaker 1: to be about the business. To y'all, I'm I'm I'm
- 2:17Speaker 1: doing all I can. But you know what's crazy in
- 2:22Speaker 1: the efforts that I make, I can do more. And
- 2:27Speaker 1: my father used to tell me something when I was
- 2:29Speaker 1: growing up. He says, son, when you've done your best,
- 2:35Speaker 1: and you've done all you can, sit still for a
- 2:39Speaker 1: second and just do a little bit more. Always remember that,
- 2:45Speaker 1: he said, When you've done the best you can and
- 2:47Speaker 1: you can done all you can think of, he say,
- 2:50Speaker 1: sit still for a minute and do some more. And
- 2:53Speaker 1: you know what I've discovered in my life, always have
- 2:56Speaker 1: a little more. I ain't ever just out out out completely.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I can't take another step. There ain't another breath in me.
- 3:04Speaker 1: There ain't there ain't another thought I can produce. I'm
- 3:07Speaker 1: never completely out, man. Just take a rest for a minute, man,
- 3:12Speaker 1: and then just do a little bit more and that that.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times that's helped me
- 3:19Speaker 1: get over the top. You know, I was watching a
- 3:22Speaker 1: documentary about people climbing Mount Everest and how difficult climbing
- 3:26Speaker 1: Mount Everest was, and how they have on the hill
- 3:31Speaker 1: something called like a death zone or killing zone, where
- 3:35Speaker 1: the majority of people run out of oxygen and they
- 3:37Speaker 1: have to turn back. Well, what's crazy is it's right
- 3:43Speaker 1: in view of the summit. You can actually see the
- 3:46Speaker 1: top of Mount Everest from there. But it's but it's
- 3:50Speaker 1: that little bit that's left that's the most difficult. Now
- 3:53Speaker 1: that I forgot all the reasons why they said most
- 3:56Speaker 1: people don't make it from there, and more people have
- 3:59Speaker 1: lost their lives lives in that area. I don't know
- 4:01Speaker 1: what it is, but the people that make it to
- 4:05Speaker 1: the top of Mount efforts. They all had to go
- 4:09Speaker 1: through that same zone or that same area, but they
- 4:14Speaker 1: had a little bit more that allowed them to get
- 4:16Speaker 1: to the top. You know a lot of people have
- 4:19Speaker 1: had accidents up there trying that, so I'm not even
- 4:22Speaker 1: really sure if Mount Everest analogy is a good one.
- 4:26Speaker 1: But let's just break it down a little bit more.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Let's just talk about life. There's a poem I learned
- 4:34Speaker 1: back when I host pledge in. It's called don't Quit.
- 4:37Speaker 1: It goes like this, If I make a mistake, I'm
- 4:39Speaker 1: just trying to drum it up, So here we go.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It says when things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
- 4:45Speaker 1: when the road you're trudging seems all uphill, when your
- 4:49Speaker 1: funds are low and your debts are high, when you
- 4:53Speaker 1: want to smile, but you have to side when cares
- 4:57Speaker 1: are pressing you down a bit, rest if you must,
- 5:01Speaker 1: But don't quit. For life is queer with its twisting turns,
- 5:06Speaker 1: as every one of us must sometimes learn, And many
- 5:09Speaker 1: a fellow has turned about when he might have won
- 5:13Speaker 1: had he stuck it out. So don't give up. Though
- 5:17Speaker 1: the pace seems slow, you may succeed with another blow.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Often the gold is nearer than it seems to a
- 5:26Speaker 1: faint and a faltering man, And often the struggler has
- 5:31Speaker 1: given up when he might have captured the victor's cup.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And he learns too late, when the night came down,
- 5:39Speaker 1: how close he was to the golden crown. Success is
- 5:44Speaker 1: failure turned inside out. It's your silver tint of your
- 5:49Speaker 1: clouds of doubt, and you never can tell how close
- 5:53Speaker 1: you are. It may be kneel when it seems afar,
- 5:58Speaker 1: so stick to the fight when your hardest hit. It's
- 6:02Speaker 1: when things seem worse that you mustn't quit. I remember
- 6:07Speaker 1: it because I'd had a special method of helping you
- 6:09Speaker 1: remember stuff back then, but I remembered it at that point.
- 6:13Speaker 1: My dad has kept me. You know, we often talk
- 6:17Speaker 1: about scripture and everything, and then I don't see how
- 6:20Speaker 1: I could live without it. But every now and then, man,
- 6:23Speaker 1: somebody has a writing. God puts a writing on somebody's
- 6:26Speaker 1: heart that delivers a message man that can help people.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I use every motivational tool that I possibly can to
- 6:33Speaker 1: climb this letter of success or try to be the
- 6:35Speaker 1: best father and the best husband I can be. I've
- 6:38Speaker 1: done a lot of changing over the years, and so
- 6:40Speaker 1: have you. But change is necessary in order to grow.
- 6:44Speaker 1: If you don't make changes, folks, you can't grow. I
- 6:47Speaker 1: was a young man on my set. I kept looking
- 6:50Speaker 1: at him, and a sharp little young dude just on
- 6:52Speaker 1: my set, and he had these dreads and I mean
- 6:57Speaker 1: they were they were super long, man, they will well
- 7:01Speaker 1: below the middle of his back, I mean images long.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And he kept talking to me, and he kept talking
- 7:06Speaker 1: to me and talking to me, say, young man kept
- 7:09Speaker 1: talking to him. And I said, hey, man, you know
- 7:11Speaker 1: you do you're a huge self, a favor in the
- 7:14Speaker 1: business you're in. If you got a haircut, you would
- 7:16Speaker 1: do yourself a huge favor. I said, your images everything, man,
- 7:20Speaker 1: I said, you keep stopping me in the hallway to
- 7:22Speaker 1: try to tell me what you're doing, what you are,
- 7:24Speaker 1: but all I see is your hair. I keep trying
- 7:27Speaker 1: to figure out what you're doing with all that hair. Man,
- 7:29Speaker 1: Now you can feel how you want to feel. But
- 7:32Speaker 1: I'm like an employer. I employed people. So when I'm
- 7:36Speaker 1: walking through the hallway and I try to think of
- 7:38Speaker 1: you traveling with me and you sitting in a meeting
- 7:41Speaker 1: with me, I try to imagine you in your suit
- 7:43Speaker 1: sitting there talking business with me. And so, just like
- 7:47Speaker 1: other employers are, I'm just having a real story with you.
- 7:50Speaker 1: So I said, man, you ought to consider cutting your hair.
- 7:53Speaker 1: He said, Man, mister Harvey, I've been growing his hair
- 7:56Speaker 1: sides a little boy. I said, how old are you now?
- 7:59Speaker 1: He said the eight? I said, well, how long you
- 8:02Speaker 1: want to hang on to what you was when you
- 8:03Speaker 1: was a little bored? You know, if you started growing
- 8:06Speaker 1: your hair when you're a teenager? I mean, you're twenty
- 8:08Speaker 1: eight now. And I said, so, let me help you
- 8:11Speaker 1: understand something. Let me let me ask you something. What
- 8:14Speaker 1: does it do for you? He's a man, it's just
- 8:16Speaker 1: who I am. It's I said, so you your have
- 8:21Speaker 1: He said no, no, But it's a part of me.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I say, that part of you that you're hanging on to.
- 8:27Speaker 1: What does it do for you? I just like it? Well, dog,
- 8:32Speaker 1: I like ice cream, but I fear that. But if
- 8:34Speaker 1: I hang on ice cream and eat ice cream every
- 8:37Speaker 1: single day, my body gonna reflect that. What is it
- 8:41Speaker 1: that you hanging on to that you don't want to
- 8:43Speaker 1: let go of? That's prohibiting you from being what all
- 8:46Speaker 1: you can be? See, it's hard to be what all
- 8:49Speaker 1: you can be if you want to keep being all
- 8:51Speaker 1: you was? Don't that make sense to you? So I
- 8:56Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times I've had to change.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Change is necessary to grow. You can't be all you
- 9:04Speaker 1: can be if you want to keep hanging on to
- 9:08Speaker 1: all you was? That don't make no sense. How do
- 9:12Speaker 1: you go forward? If you keep going backwards? You can't
- 9:16Speaker 1: stay here and go there? Do you understand that if
- 9:21Speaker 1: you want to go over there, you must remove yourself
- 9:25Speaker 1: from right here? Oh? I got right Here is comfortable.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I got right here is safe. But over there's where
- 9:32Speaker 1: the shade is over. There's where the fruit is. Over
- 9:36Speaker 1: there is where the opportunity is. Over. There is where
- 9:41Speaker 1: the mountain of goal is. So why are you stuck
- 9:44Speaker 1: on here? You got to leave here to go over there?
- 9:48Speaker 1: You can't be all you can be if you want
- 9:51Speaker 1: to stay stuck on who you was. Change this growth
- 9:55Speaker 1: is necessary. All let's go. You're listening tow, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Right now is the beginning of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Joe dr Dream let me make love in the background.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I just feel like that man. Yeah, okay, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:42Speaker 1: This show is starring the following people. Shirley Strawberry, callar
- 10:47Speaker 1: for real, Mouth of the South, Junior and the Legend
- 10:51Speaker 1: that he is Nephew Timmy. Good morning everyone, Good morning, Junior.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna stop you before you asking me something, because
- 11:00Speaker 1: you ain't been asking me nothing lately. You've been just
- 11:04Speaker 1: having me do routines. Yeah, I want to go back
- 11:08Speaker 1: to the damn questions. I got a question. Ah, here
- 11:12Speaker 1: we go, let me ask it. You know, because you
- 11:15Speaker 1: sixty five years in man, Yeah, sixty five trips around
- 11:18Speaker 1: the sun baby, yeah. Man. And I've been thinking about
- 11:22Speaker 1: something that I thought about something you told me about
- 11:24Speaker 1: perfect time that you said there ain't no perfect time
- 11:27Speaker 1: to do. It is none, brother, And I'm thinking about something.
- 11:31Speaker 1: It stops people, man, It stops people from progressive. When
- 11:37Speaker 1: you keep waiting on the perfect time, you're just you're
- 11:41Speaker 1: you're slowing it, man, and you're creating a situation for
- 11:44Speaker 1: yourself that doesn't have to exist. There is no perfect
- 11:47Speaker 1: time to start. The time to start is now today. Immediately.
- 11:52Speaker 1: You will never get your ducks lined up all in
- 11:54Speaker 1: a row. It just won't happen. Man. You gotta go
- 11:58Speaker 1: now because every time time you start something to remember
- 12:01Speaker 1: that's going to be opposition. Let me tell you what
- 12:04Speaker 1: I've learned. I've learned a lot about fear. I've learned
- 12:08Speaker 1: a lot about faith. I've learned a lot about worry.
- 12:12Speaker 1: But fear and worry are two very paralyzing things that
- 12:17Speaker 1: people go through. Here's what I've learned about fear. Fear
- 12:21Speaker 1: don't stop death. Fear stops life. Oh wow, oh man,
- 12:32Speaker 1: don't go over here, that might happen you man, be
- 12:35Speaker 1: careful over there, you might not get right there. No, no,
- 12:37Speaker 1: fear don't stop death. Fear stops life. And let me
- 12:41Speaker 1: tell you something about worrying. Man, Worrying does not take
- 12:45Speaker 1: away tomorrow's troubles. Worrying takes away today's peace. You can
- 12:55Speaker 1: worry all you want. Worried does not tell take away
- 13:00Speaker 1: tomorrow's troubles and nothing you can do about tomorrow. But
- 13:04Speaker 1: what wary does do? It takes away to day's peace,
- 13:10Speaker 1: Julie's you can understand that, God help us all. Fear
- 13:17Speaker 1: and wary are the two great detractors, because fear don't
- 13:21Speaker 1: stop death, it stops living. And wary don't take away
- 13:26Speaker 1: tomorrow's troubles. Wary takes away to day's peace. Quit where
- 13:30Speaker 1: about stuff you ain't got no control or gonna live
- 13:33Speaker 1: your life in peace? All right? All right, I like that?
- 13:37Speaker 1: All right? Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 1: the nephew is in the building, to run that frank
- 13:42Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening show, all right, it
- 13:47Speaker 1: is time to start your morning off with the nephew
- 13:50Speaker 1: and run that frank back. Nephew, What do you have
- 13:54Speaker 1: for us this morning? We hit it to mister Wiggins
- 13:57Speaker 1: house because we've got to situation right there in the
- 14:01Speaker 1: front yard mister Wiggins times. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 14:04Speaker 1: buckle up this heels mister Wiggins cat dog if you
- 14:08Speaker 1: would then Hello, Hello, Hi, my name is George. I'm

- 14:28Speaker 1: sure you got that as well. I cut my yard, man,

- 16:15Speaker 1: we'll take care of mister Malone's yard. I understand that
- 16:17Speaker 1: we've made a mistake, but I understand. I understood you
- 16:20Speaker 1: say that you didn't like the services, So wouldn't it
- 16:23Speaker 1: be even right for you to actually go ahead and
- 16:27Speaker 1: send the invoice in along with the check since you
- 16:29Speaker 1: did like the services? Well, ever, didn't listening like YO retarded,
- 16:33Speaker 1: because then I just tell you you cut the wrong

- 16:48Speaker 1: but you got the services, and you like the services.
- 16:51Speaker 1: I don't want to have to come out there and
- 16:53Speaker 1: get the money from you. We'll go on and determine
- 16:57Speaker 1: I got something. Come on home. We ain't get you
- 17:00Speaker 1: what you said you like I wouldn't give them if

- 19:18Speaker 1: Right now? Tommy? Mister Higgins? Huh? Oh what? I didn't
- 19:28Speaker 1: want to say nothing. I no, I don't say nothing
- 19:30Speaker 1: to call what he gonna understand? Now? Who was the guy?
- 19:38Speaker 1: Mister Higgins? See? Yeah, Tommy. I don't know if you
- 19:43Speaker 1: noticed this, but when you introduced it, you actually said
- 19:48Speaker 1: mister wickedness. You said it properly. Yeah, you didn't mess
- 19:53Speaker 1: it up working about it. You know what it is, Tommy,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I think you were reading it. I've been you read
- 20:05Speaker 1: properly when you've been doing this thing online that they
- 20:08Speaker 1: got they got a thing that they've got me going through.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Whether the weather be cold, or whether the Hordel the
- 20:19Speaker 1: wee were in this together. The whether we like it
- 20:23Speaker 1: or not, I'm saying that zoom epic fail. All right,
- 20:29Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Coming up as the CELLO Chief Love
- 20:32Speaker 1: Officer Steve Harvey, ready for your love question. Right after this.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You're listening to Morning show coming up at the top
- 20:41Speaker 1: of the hour, and entertainment news Courtney Kardashian's husband Travis
- 20:45Speaker 1: Barker is in the hospital. Also another entertainment news, Wendy
- 20:50Speaker 1: Williams shared up close her extremely swollen feet and now
- 20:55Speaker 1: her feet are swollen due to lymphedema. Uh and Wendy
- 20:58Speaker 1: announced that she's ready to move on to her podcast.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And in trending headline news, former White House aide drops
- 21:05Speaker 1: a bombshell testimony about the January sixth insurrection. We'll talk
- 21:10Speaker 1: about all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 21:12Speaker 1: but right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 21:16Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building and ready.
- 21:20Speaker 1: This one's from Sky and Tulsa. Sky says, I took
- 21:24Speaker 1: my son to a water park last weekend and my
- 21:27Speaker 1: husband was there with his new girlfriend and her son.
- 21:31Speaker 1: It was painful for me to watch him being so
- 21:33Speaker 1: affectionate to her and care for her son like he
- 21:36Speaker 1: cares for our son. I don't love him, but it
- 21:39Speaker 1: still hurts. It's this normal, a normal reaction. Will this
- 21:43Speaker 1: feeling ever go away? That's pain? Yeah, it's pain. It's
- 21:47Speaker 1: gonna last for a while. It's okay. Plus, you know
- 21:50Speaker 1: the girl probably flying, you know what I'm saying. That
- 21:54Speaker 1: got on your nerves right there. And then see you
- 21:57Speaker 1: looking at this. He replaced you with her. You're not
- 22:00Speaker 1: looking at the blessing at all. You're missing the blessing
- 22:04Speaker 1: that you don't have him anymore. You gotta remember, y'all
- 22:07Speaker 1: got divorced for a reason. You got to remember the reason.
- 22:13Speaker 1: And he wasn't your soul mate. You were married to
- 22:17Speaker 1: a person that wasn't your soul mate. Now how you
- 22:20Speaker 1: heard about that? He wasn't if he was your soul mate,
- 22:24Speaker 1: y'all be together, so understand the blessing of it. You
- 22:28Speaker 1: were not married to your soul mate. Now there's an
- 22:31Speaker 1: opportunity for you to meet your soul mates. And you
- 22:34Speaker 1: were upset with him because he was loving on the
- 22:36Speaker 1: child the way he loves on your son. Okay, that's
- 22:39Speaker 1: a good man. He posted to that. Just take the
- 22:43Speaker 1: blessing you got that you got unmarried to a person
- 22:46Speaker 1: who was not your soul mate, and quit looking at
- 22:49Speaker 1: that girl and that the kenny she had on at
- 22:52Speaker 1: the water pot. I'm sorry, go ahead, trying to help.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Just move. It's not fine. It's got to face fast
- 23:05Speaker 1: sometimes you gotta. She's fine too. All right, here we go,
- 23:10Speaker 1: Brecia and Miami says, I've been married for a year
- 23:14Speaker 1: and recently my husband changed our cell phone numbers without
- 23:18Speaker 1: asking me. I had the same number for eleven years,
- 23:21Speaker 1: so I got my number back. He's upset about it
- 23:23Speaker 1: and wants us to start fresh. Why is he doing this?
- 23:28Speaker 1: He wants y'all to start fresh? Now, Brecia, let me
- 23:32Speaker 1: ask you a question. Is he tied of your phone
- 23:36Speaker 1: ringing with people you don't know? Because that would have come.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I don't know. No man that changes his wife's number. Yeah,
- 23:43Speaker 1: and he is. Now here's the slick part that men
- 23:48Speaker 1: will do. I gotta change this number. Call some stuff
- 23:52Speaker 1: in my past. Keep ringing before I draw attention to
- 23:56Speaker 1: why I change my number. I'm gonna change our number, right?
- 24:02Speaker 1: That could be yes? Or does somebody accidentally get the
- 24:07Speaker 1: wife's numble? I'm gonna just change Look speak what next?
- 24:18Speaker 1: Full phones coming? Just change yours, don't change mind? All right?
- 24:26Speaker 1: Here we go. Yolanda in Southfield says, I'm dating a
- 24:29Speaker 1: man that loves to shop for me, and it's always
- 24:32Speaker 1: too short, too tight and revealing. I am thirty seven,
- 24:36Speaker 1: so I feel like I'm dressing too young, especially since
- 24:39Speaker 1: I'm not a size six like I used to be.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Should I follow his lead and embrace my curvy body? Well?
- 24:47Speaker 1: Do it in private, he got you out there, do
- 24:50Speaker 1: it in pride, but in publica if you're not comfortable,
- 24:53Speaker 1: you can't wear this stuff. Right, You got to embrace
- 24:57Speaker 1: your curvy body because your curvy body didn't e break. Yeah,
- 25:02Speaker 1: so where we are now, let's just talk about how
- 25:05Speaker 1: far off for six years? Why see, that's probably where
- 25:10Speaker 1: we got. Now. If you were eight or twelve, we
- 25:13Speaker 1: could good. Now sixteen you got start, you know, thinking
- 25:17Speaker 1: about how you walk out the dough with this shot
- 25:20Speaker 1: man song and a lot of people. I just don't
- 25:22Speaker 1: think you're thirty seven. If you're uncomfortable with it, lady,
- 25:25Speaker 1: you shouldn't be having it at all. I think satisfy
- 25:28Speaker 1: him and give it to him in private, but I
- 25:31Speaker 1: think publically you don't have to do that. Now I've
- 25:34Speaker 1: seen a side sixteen that was you, who Lord have
- 25:37Speaker 1: messaged this girl with everything at a bad But I
- 25:40Speaker 1: knew I wasn't man enough for her. I knew that well.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I used to love that boy well, So I didn't
- 25:45Speaker 1: say nothing to her because I already knew I couldn't
- 25:48Speaker 1: handle it. I don't like getting tossed, you know what
- 25:50Speaker 1: I mean. I like to be more in control anyway.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I don't like nobody tossing me. I was slinging me
- 25:55Speaker 1: running be able. Ain't going to do that. Throw me
- 25:58Speaker 1: y'all up on the dress. When you get how you
- 26:01Speaker 1: feel when some lads where they where they stomachs out,
- 26:04Speaker 1: how you feel about that? I'm cool with that yourr
- 26:07Speaker 1: stomach or out? You know, body positivity people, Yeah, what
- 26:12Speaker 1: what is going on? No? I like stomach even, I
- 26:16Speaker 1: like even you know, I don't mind if your stomach
- 26:18Speaker 1: look like my stomach and is out, you know, as
- 26:20Speaker 1: long as you sexy, you know what I mean, I
- 26:23Speaker 1: don't mind that. I ain't got no problem with that,
- 26:25Speaker 1: as long as it's sexy. You know, I've seen stomach
- 26:27Speaker 1: looking at I see even when with some knot flat
- 26:30Speaker 1: stomach sex is hell. I ain't got no problem with
- 26:33Speaker 1: a woman. Ain't got no flash stoa because hell, I
- 26:34Speaker 1: ain't got one. So you know one thing about me
- 26:37Speaker 1: I learned, don't ask a woman to do something you
- 26:39Speaker 1: ain't gonna do. You ain't got no six pack. You
- 26:41Speaker 1: can quit looking at six pack, you know, you know.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Let's get lets put these kigs on, only going out here. Yeah,
- 26:50Speaker 1: so I like, we don't have a six pack. Both
- 26:52Speaker 1: of us got a kig. Let's get dressed and going
- 26:55Speaker 1: out here and hold each other's hand and act like
- 26:59Speaker 1: your asses with me, because I'm acting like I'm happy
- 27:01Speaker 1: with you. Yeah. Life is short. Life. You can't get
- 27:04Speaker 1: a six pack no way, because you ain't gotten no
- 27:06Speaker 1: six pack, right right, right, because I got six pack money,
- 27:10Speaker 1: six pack money, and get you whatever you want. But
- 27:13Speaker 1: she don't want you for yourrs though, she want you
- 27:16Speaker 1: for your money. Get somebody age appropriate. I can't nobody
- 27:20Speaker 1: ain't leaving my wife. I already know that we're going
- 27:23Speaker 1: to the tape. I got the baddest chick I can get.
- 27:26Speaker 1: That's it, okay, all right, she don't have a six pack.
- 27:31Speaker 1: It's flattered in mind though, So that thinking thing six pack,
- 27:35Speaker 1: that's what we're moving on, all right to Keyana and Hampton.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Kanna says, I'm a forty year old married woman and
- 27:44Speaker 1: I've been having an affair for a few months with
- 27:46Speaker 1: a younger man. When we have sex, it isn't at
- 27:50Speaker 1: his house, and I required nicer surroundings when I get naked.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Do I splurge for a room or keep going to
- 27:57Speaker 1: his raggedy apartment? Should I buy him a nice comforter
- 28:00Speaker 1: and sheets? That that's the last one? Stee. Well, see,
- 28:03Speaker 1: you're just having an affair, you just Do's not an
- 28:06Speaker 1: affair you're having You're getting done, and when you're getting done,
- 28:10Speaker 1: you get done. However we want to do you. Now,
- 28:13Speaker 1: you're not getting a nice comforten, no nice sheet. She's
- 28:15Speaker 1: gonna sleep on this that I sleep on because he's
- 28:18Speaker 1: just doing you. He already know you marry. You ain't
- 28:20Speaker 1: gonna be his, He ain't gonna make you with You're
- 28:22Speaker 1: just getting done. Now. Should you buy a nice confidence sheet?
- 28:26Speaker 1: You're gonna have to because he's been in a quarter
- 28:29Speaker 1: on your way. Just come back to your man, to
- 28:35Speaker 1: your husband. All right, thank you, Selo. Coming up at
- 28:38Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll have some national and
- 28:40Speaker 1: entertainment news for you. Right after this you're listening show.
- 28:47Speaker 1: All right, So Wendy Williams is moving on from TV
- 28:50Speaker 1: and developing a podcast now. Wendy, who left her daily
- 28:54Speaker 1: talk show last year after falling ill, told TMZ when
- 28:58Speaker 1: you're famous, podcasts will make more money for you. Uh
- 29:01Speaker 1: so she's saying she'll get more money from her podcast
- 29:04Speaker 1: than she did from the TV show. She adds that
- 29:07Speaker 1: she's one hundred percent retired. Yeah, that's what she's saying.
- 29:10Speaker 1: She said, because she's famous, she's going to get more
- 29:13Speaker 1: money from her podcast. Yes, so she's she's adding that
- 29:18Speaker 1: she's one hundred percent retired from her TV gig, and
- 29:21Speaker 1: that was It was an amicable split. Wendy also revealed
- 29:25Speaker 1: that she's been suffering from lymphedema, and she showed her
- 29:28Speaker 1: foot on video and said she can only feel maybe
- 29:31Speaker 1: five percent of her feet. But she insists she's not
- 29:34Speaker 1: letting that hold her back. So that's a good thing.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Keep it moving, you know, Wendy gash And cause you famous,
- 29:46Speaker 1: you can make more money on podcasts and TV. You
- 29:49Speaker 1: don't think I'd have a podcast. You do a podcast,
- 29:55Speaker 1: Aunt's podcast every part and show you Dad ain't paying
- 30:01Speaker 1: that much. But this is not about hell no, this
- 30:07Speaker 1: is about Wendy a statement. Listen to me. Let me
- 30:15Speaker 1: stop all y'all for y'all getting over here, stuck on stupid.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Listen to me. Cause you famous, and you start a podcast,
- 30:23Speaker 1: you can make more money than you do on a

- 30:29Speaker 1: will see how many financially successful podcasts that. Just look
- 30:35Speaker 1: it up. You can google it. There's only one Wendy
- 30:38Speaker 1: Williams though, and we're gonna move on. I'm glad you're
- 30:42Speaker 1: feeling talking to everybody just thinking they're gonna get a podcast.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Everybody make more money to look like I said, there's
- 30:52Speaker 1: only one Wendy. All right, sure, don't you stop me
- 30:58Speaker 1: from look, I got more enough to talk about. We okay,
- 31:04Speaker 1: so we forgot about I don't know her health and everything. Yes,
- 31:14Speaker 1: I don't wish bad health. Nobody wish. I'm glad she's
- 31:18Speaker 1: feeling better and coming back. All right, We're we're sending
- 31:22Speaker 1: our prayers. UM also up for um Shaka Zulu. Shaka
- 31:27Speaker 1: Zulu is an industry executive and longtime manager of rapper
- 31:31Speaker 1: and actor Ludicrous. Shaka was wounded in a triple shooting
- 31:35Speaker 1: in Atlanta on Monday morning, which left one man dead
- 31:38Speaker 1: another man injured. This is according to police. The shooting
- 31:42Speaker 1: was sparked by a verbal dispute and a parking lot
- 31:44Speaker 1: shared by several local businesses. We're praying for Shaka Shaka's family,
- 31:49Speaker 1: saying that they're thanking the people for their prayers. He
- 31:52Speaker 1: is in stable condition now and recovering, so that is great. Yeah, Shaka,
- 31:57Speaker 1: let's go. Yes, I mean I'm telling you yes, yeah. Yeah.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Also sending out prayers of healing to Blink one eighty
- 32:06Speaker 1: two drummer Travis Barker, who was hospitalized and arrived by
- 32:10Speaker 1: ambulance with his new wife, Courtney Kardashian. They've only been
- 32:14Speaker 1: married a couple of months. Courtney was by his side.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Barker tweeted God saved me and a sixteen year old
- 32:21Speaker 1: daughter Alabama asked for prayers as well, so we're praying
- 32:24Speaker 1: for him as well, all right. Finally, in Trending Headline News,
- 32:28Speaker 1: former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson testified about a dramatic
- 32:33Speaker 1: series of events related to the January sixth attack on
- 32:36Speaker 1: the Capitol. Among them, President Trump tried to grab the
- 32:40Speaker 1: wheel of his limo and lunged at a Secret Service
- 32:44Speaker 1: agent in an attempt to go to the Capitol following
- 32:48Speaker 1: his speech that day. Remember on January sixth, when happened
- 32:52Speaker 1: before the insurrection. Yeah, ignant asshole. Do you want to Oh,
- 33:00Speaker 1: he wanted to go. I know they shouldn't have taken
- 33:02Speaker 1: him down to know what. Secret Service in their right
- 33:05Speaker 1: mind gonna drive the client. M But President at the time,
- 33:10Speaker 1: in their right mind, grabs the wheel of his car
- 33:15Speaker 1: from if you don't sit your ass, back down, back down,
- 33:21Speaker 1: offend to go to the ride with yours can't take
- 33:25Speaker 1: you to no ride? Man, We hit a serve and
- 33:29Speaker 1: protect Yeah. Yeah. Other testimony open passion jurors opened mister president.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Other testimony, including uh included the revelation that Trump staffers
- 33:48Speaker 1: were well aware of a threat of violence on the
- 33:50Speaker 1: on January sixth in the days before the attack. Hutchinson
- 33:54Speaker 1: also said that Trump was aware that his supporters were
- 33:57Speaker 1: armed with knives and guns and on their flags they
- 34:00Speaker 1: had spears at the end of them, but Trump asked
- 34:04Speaker 1: that the metal detectors be removed so it would not
- 34:06Speaker 1: affect the crowd size of the event, and he said
- 34:10Speaker 1: that the that the writers wouldn't bother him. Um and Finally,
- 34:16Speaker 1: after the Attorney General William Barr said in an interview
- 34:19Speaker 1: that the Justice Department found no believable evidence of master
- 34:23Speaker 1: voter fraud, Trump threw a fit, I mean just to
- 34:28Speaker 1: hitsy fit and threw his lunch against the wall. Is
- 34:33Speaker 1: what has happened to the Republican Party is like really
- 34:37Speaker 1: kind of shocking because Donald Trump has taken the Republican
- 34:42Speaker 1: Party and turn it into something else. At least at
- 34:47Speaker 1: least they had the courtesy to mask what they were doing.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Donald Trump has removed the mask and the fact that
- 35:00Speaker 1: this Republican Party can find no fault in anything he does.
- 35:05Speaker 1: No matter what he does, you all can stop calling
- 35:09Speaker 1: yourself to moral parties this country because this is the
- 35:12Speaker 1: most immoral politics that we've had in a long time.
- 35:17Speaker 1: We've always had it, but at least she had the
- 35:19Speaker 1: decency to Maska had done yet. Coming up in twenty
- 35:24Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve
- 35:26Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to show. Well.

- 35:40Speaker 1: of course, which can get a bit costly these days.

- 36:36Speaker 1: on the list that saw price decrease to two dollars
- 36:39Speaker 1: and ninety cents per pounds. They're down two percent compared

- 38:34Speaker 1: before you come, hey, before you come. All right coming
- 38:41Speaker 1: up to thirty four minutes after the hour, We're gonna
- 38:43Speaker 1: check Steve's voicemail at eight seven seven twenty nine Steve.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Morning Show. It

- 39:14Speaker 1: Give it up for the truck drivers. I've just heard
- 39:16Speaker 1: one of your messages that you um that you gave
- 39:19Speaker 1: a caller that we was speaking about herschel Walker and
- 39:23Speaker 1: you are a hundred and two thousand percent right. And
- 39:28Speaker 1: the thing about it is that when we speak up
- 39:31Speaker 1: on what we believe, everybody else wants to shoot us down.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Keep doing what you're doing on the see love you
- 39:37Speaker 1: Morning crew, keep it up. Peace to want to I
- 39:41Speaker 1: want to know what I said about hershel Walkers. I
- 39:44Speaker 1: got a couple of texts too about that seting man.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Thank you for your message on herschel Walker. I don't
- 39:49Speaker 1: even realize what I remember. The guy called in and
- 39:51Speaker 1: said black conservatives are the smartest people in the country
- 39:55Speaker 1: and all of that was from Chicago. Yeah, stop talking
- 39:59Speaker 1: about herschel Walker. Yeah yeah, he didn't like. He didn't
- 40:03Speaker 1: like the fact that we talked about herschel Walker. Don't. Well,
- 40:08Speaker 1: here's another comment about herschel Walker. Um um, this is
- 40:12Speaker 1: Missus Edna from Mississippi. Mister Harvey. My name is Edna.
- 40:17Speaker 1: I'm seventy two years old and I live on the
- 40:19Speaker 1: Golden Coast, Mississippi, and I just want to let you
- 40:23Speaker 1: know hershel Walker. In my day, we call him ENoC
- 40:26Speaker 1: for Tom, and that means that they stain and grinned
- 40:29Speaker 1: in the white men's face and look like somebody wouldn't
- 40:33Speaker 1: they turned their black brother in. We got a lot
- 40:36Speaker 1: of them today. I thought I thought for sure we
- 40:41Speaker 1: would never be back in this place, but here we
- 40:44Speaker 1: are again. And people say votes don't count, but look
- 40:49Speaker 1: how they counted at the last time you got out
- 40:52Speaker 1: there and vote. We need to just continue to vote,
- 40:54Speaker 1: mister Harvey. I know this may never get on there,
- 40:58Speaker 1: but I feel good just talking you about miss her
- 41:03Speaker 1: Shoe Walker an Tom number one have a good one
- 41:07Speaker 1: by blind you know, man, you know, let me just something, man, y'all,
- 41:14Speaker 1: y'all don't know. She's seventy two years old. She's seen
- 41:18Speaker 1: some things I haven't seen. She didn't have more trips
- 41:22Speaker 1: around the sun. People get mad at people when they
- 41:26Speaker 1: have opinions like that, But you have to understand where
- 41:30Speaker 1: she's coming from. She in Mississippi too. She hadn't seen it.
- 41:34Speaker 1: She has seen it. Man, as good a people come
- 41:37Speaker 1: out of that state, it's just as many bad onesn't
- 41:41Speaker 1: come out of that too. Now, because that Mississippi was
- 41:44Speaker 1: famous for what they was back there doing, and she
- 41:47Speaker 1: lived there. Now, I want to I want to hear
- 41:50Speaker 1: what I said about hershel Walker, because obviously I was
- 41:53Speaker 1: going off the top of my head because it was
- 41:55Speaker 1: nothing I wrote down anywhere. So I want to hear
- 41:57Speaker 1: that somebody's send a copy to me, Dave or something
- 42:02Speaker 1: like that, to send me an ad check. Let me
- 42:04Speaker 1: find it. But thank you Misadden anymore. And yeah, last caller,
- 42:11Speaker 1: This caller says they feel included while listening to our show,
- 42:15Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. This is DJ Benny James. I'm a white
- 42:19Speaker 1: man and I've got to tell you I listened to
- 42:22Speaker 1: your show all the time, and what I love about
- 42:25Speaker 1: it is I feel welcome to be part of the experience.
- 42:29Speaker 1: There's been other shows, other radio stations I listened to,
- 42:33Speaker 1: and as a white man who loves soul music, I
- 42:36Speaker 1: just didn't feel welcome. But your show is inclusive of everybody,
- 42:41Speaker 1: and I feel part of family. And I just want
- 42:44Speaker 1: you to note that I appreciate it. I'm sure many
- 42:47Speaker 1: many others feel the same way. So much love to
- 42:50Speaker 1: you and the crew, and yeah, peace out man, Thank
- 42:53Speaker 1: you for everything you think. Right good. Hey, you know
- 42:56Speaker 1: I want to say something to that, including other parts
- 43:00Speaker 1: of my career, but especially on radio. I've always told
- 43:05Speaker 1: everybody in Hollywood I'm a crossover act, and the way
- 43:08Speaker 1: I crossover is I build a bridge and I invite
- 43:11Speaker 1: everybody over to see what I do and what we do.
- 43:15Speaker 1: I don't build a bridge and then go over there.
- 43:17Speaker 1: I don't do that. I stay home. I stay true
- 43:20Speaker 1: to who I am and what I do. But I
- 43:22Speaker 1: build a bridge where everybody can come over here and
- 43:24Speaker 1: see what I do and what we do. And that's
- 43:27Speaker 1: been the success of this radio show and my career.
- 43:30Speaker 1: And appreciate you for recognizing that. Brother and all are
- 43:35Speaker 1: welcome on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, well said,
- 43:40Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is a nephew in the prank
- 43:42Speaker 1: phone call right after this you're listening to. Coming up
- 43:49Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, about four minutes after,
- 43:51Speaker 1: it's my strawberry letter for today, and the subject is
- 43:54Speaker 1: caught on film. Caught on film. We'll get into that,
- 43:59Speaker 1: find out what that all about. And justice were doing it.
- 44:06Speaker 1: I quit that family and you're an actor. I can't
- 44:09Speaker 1: believe that. Don't get all of it. You don't meet everything.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Right now, it's time for the nephew and today's prank
- 44:16Speaker 1: phone call. What you got for its naf and it's
- 44:18Speaker 1: right here. You know, chicken. You know it's sport for

- 44:24Speaker 1: time for chicken. To me. No matter what I'm a
- 44:26Speaker 1: I'm a chicken man. Uh, this right here is too
- 44:29Speaker 1: much chicken? Too really much? Is there thing? Okay, there's
- 44:37Speaker 1: such a thing too much chicken? All right, I don't
- 44:41Speaker 1: want everybody to uh turn your radio up loud and
- 44:44Speaker 1: listen to too much chicken. Car Dog, if you would, Hello, Hello,

- 45:07Speaker 1: reach out and give you a call and see if
- 45:09Speaker 1: you would be on board of help signing a petition
- 45:11Speaker 1: that we're gonna have going around with VPE t MC
- 45:15Speaker 1: if you don't mind. Okay, what is it about, well,
- 45:18Speaker 1: b P E t MC, Jason, is uh, black people
- 45:21Speaker 1: eat too much chicken and what we're trying to do
- 45:24Speaker 1: is cut back to beat too much chickens. What the
- 45:28Speaker 1: hell is this? My name, my name is Remy, Sir. Okay,
- 45:32Speaker 1: what you mean about blacke beat too much chicken? We've
- 45:35Speaker 1: we've done we've we've done a test study and we realized, sir,
- 45:39Speaker 1: the black people are the ones that are eating too
- 45:41Speaker 1: much chicken. And what we want to do is trying
- 45:43Speaker 1: to cut back because right now there's a Chinese and
- 45:46Speaker 1: ask them the you all time a chicken, chicken food
- 45:48Speaker 1: young all this, Yeah, chicken and white chicken. Alligate all
- 45:52Speaker 1: this chicken chicken, stir fire rice with chicken, and always
- 45:55Speaker 1: say you want to come to me talking about a
- 45:56Speaker 1: black person eat too much? Damn chickens? Did you ask
- 45:59Speaker 1: white people? I bet you didn't know? With no white folks,
- 46:02Speaker 1: I bet you don't go to them, y'all out of them. Uh. Well,
- 46:05Speaker 1: so we're gonna we're gonna get to that. We're starting
- 46:07Speaker 1: in the black community. You black people are the ones
- 46:09Speaker 1: that seemed to buy the most chicken, No chicken. Guess what,
- 46:13Speaker 1: how don't we eat chicken? And if I did, he's
- 46:16Speaker 1: a chicken because he man, we go, are you begin something? You? Hey, hi,
- 46:24Speaker 1: y'all got my number? Enemy, Well you get sir. Actually,
- 46:28Speaker 1: we're getting numbers from the supermarket. Uh. And we're getting
- 46:30Speaker 1: a listing of people who buy the most supermarket. You
- 46:33Speaker 1: getting come in in supermarket, sir. The main thing we're
- 46:37Speaker 1: trying to get you to do is cutback on eating chicken.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Now what we want. I don't eat no chicken. And
- 46:42Speaker 1: you know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna go and
- 46:44Speaker 1: eat some chicken and don't call him about eating too much.
- 46:48Speaker 1: I don't even calm the phone so you got that Hello, Hello,
- 46:56Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach callaway? Is this callaway? Yeah, it's
- 47:00Speaker 1: kind of who's this? How you doing? My name is Remy.
- 47:02Speaker 1: I'm with bp E t MC and uh who who?
- 47:08Speaker 1: My name is Remy, sir, I'm with bp E t MC.
- 47:12Speaker 1: What we're doing is we have a petition we're trying
- 47:14Speaker 1: to get signed throughout the black community, uh of some
- 47:17Speaker 1: things that we're trying to actually help out in the
- 47:19Speaker 1: black community. Uh So bp E t MC is actually
- 47:23Speaker 1: an organization and we're trying to actually, uh save some
- 47:26Speaker 1: things in the black community. Where's the what's B What
- 47:29Speaker 1: is that? What's that stand for? What he is that BT?
- 47:31Speaker 1: What is that for? Uh? Bp TMC is is uh
- 47:36Speaker 1: black people eat too much chicken? And what we're trying
- 47:39Speaker 1: to do with this man? You got kidding me? Man?
- 47:42Speaker 1: Is this man? This is? This is Remy sir. We're
- 47:45Speaker 1: trying to get you all to actually sign a petition.
- 47:47Speaker 1: What's going on as black people are buying too much chicken?
- 47:50Speaker 1: You gotta be kidding me with this man? This is
- 47:53Speaker 1: a white man? Who is this man? I am Caucasian, sir? Yes, Now,
- 47:57Speaker 1: why are you calling me with this? What we're trying
- 48:00Speaker 1: to do is we're trying to get as you get
- 48:03Speaker 1: my number first of all, Actually we get it. We're
- 48:05Speaker 1: getting numbers from supermarkets that are letting us know the people.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Let's get to my phone. That man talking about some
- 48:13Speaker 1: ticket man, no even get smack. Okay, sir. What we're
- 48:19Speaker 1: trying to do is get you guys to cut back
- 48:21Speaker 1: on buying chicks. You're talking about you guys. Well, the
- 48:25Speaker 1: black community is the black community. You've got to go
- 48:28Speaker 1: on with it. We can't get table. Then they'll be
- 48:31Speaker 1: calling my phone with that man. Hello. Hello, I'm trying
- 48:36Speaker 1: to reach the valerie a vow. That's a shame. How
- 48:40Speaker 1: can I help you? All right, my name is Remy.
- 48:42Speaker 1: I'm with BPE TMC. How you doing. I'm doing fine
- 48:47Speaker 1: and you I'm very well. Man. Listen, what we're trying
- 48:49Speaker 1: to do is, uh, if I take a little bit
- 48:52Speaker 1: of your time, we're trying to actually get a survey
- 48:55Speaker 1: signed by people in the black community. We're actually trying
- 48:57Speaker 1: to help out in the black community. But the organism
- 49:00Speaker 1: is BPE TMC. And what this is is black What
- 49:04Speaker 1: is that? Uh, that's that's black people eat too much chicken?
- 49:08Speaker 1: So what we're doing is we're trying to get what
- 49:11Speaker 1: black say that woman time for me. Black people eat
- 49:15Speaker 1: too much chicken. You see, there's been a shortage in chicken.
- 49:18Speaker 1: So what we're trying to do is get black people
- 49:21Speaker 1: in chicken. And you want to do a survey, well,
- 49:24Speaker 1: we want what we want you guys to do with
- 49:26Speaker 1: sign a petition that you're not going to eat anymore
- 49:28Speaker 1: chicken this year. Why do they make sense? We just
- 49:31Speaker 1: don't eat chicken. You know, we eat beef, weat steak,
- 49:35Speaker 1: eat fish. I don't see you're trying to part that
- 49:37Speaker 1: off the market. Now why would you telling us not
- 49:40Speaker 1: to m to eat chicken and we eat other stuff too?
- 49:43Speaker 1: Why are you getting fined in front? Because this doesn't
- 49:46Speaker 1: make any sense. The test study, man was over chicken,
- 49:49Speaker 1: and it just seems like that this study. Who did
- 49:52Speaker 1: this test study? Well we did, man, we're BPE TMC.
- 49:55Speaker 1: And what we're after doing the test study, we did
- 49:58Speaker 1: realize that the black people are the ones that want
- 50:01Speaker 1: your chest. Don'ty just do it after do black people?
- 50:03Speaker 1: I mean, just use white people. But white people eat
- 50:06Speaker 1: chicken too. And she says, I don't diets and stuff? Okay, man,
- 50:10Speaker 1: Well Asian. What about the Hispanics? Did you use them? Okay?
- 50:14Speaker 1: Man listening? What the bottom line is. Our first study
- 50:18Speaker 1: is black people, and what we're trying to do is
- 50:19Speaker 1: get you guys to cut back on Eachi. Yes, daddy
- 50:22Speaker 1: should be everybody. This is something. Whould get my number
- 50:25Speaker 1: from man? We got we got numbers from the supermarkets
- 50:27Speaker 1: that people that number from no supermarkets. I ain't you
- 50:31Speaker 1: my number to no supermarket. This is gonna make any
- 50:33Speaker 1: damn sense. You calling me, interrupting me about something like this.
- 50:37Speaker 1: This is this was bottom line, ma'am. You don't You
- 50:40Speaker 1: don't tell me. You're not telling me, but the hand
- 50:43Speaker 1: I can't you know? La mine? You got nighte on them?
- 50:47Speaker 1: Push this up? Yes you do put this calling somebody
- 50:51Speaker 1: telling them that black people eat too much chicken? You
- 50:54Speaker 1: and your partition. Would you like to hear what the
- 50:56Speaker 1: survey is actually saying. No, I don't want to hear
- 50:58Speaker 1: that the surveys saying it because what you're saying about it.
- 51:03Speaker 1: But the survey is saying that. This is nephew Tommy
- 51:06Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Valerie, this is nephew
- 51:12Speaker 1: Tommy baby from the Steawalking God. Oh Oh that's all
- 51:26Speaker 1: it is chicken. Put a little chicken on it this weekend.

- 53:10Speaker 1: It is a strong every letter. Thank you, nephew. Subjects
- 53:13Speaker 1: caught on film. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for
- 53:16Speaker 1: over half my life and my husband checked out of
- 53:19Speaker 1: the marriage five years ago. He started sleeping on the
- 53:22Speaker 1: couch and then eventually moved into the guest room. I'm
- 53:26Speaker 1: okay with not having sex because it wasn't ever that
- 53:29Speaker 1: good anyway. I went through periods of being bitter, but
- 53:32Speaker 1: didn't do anything drastic because of our children. He told
- 53:36Speaker 1: his family that I was verbally abusive to him, and
- 53:39Speaker 1: his mother only tolerated me so she could see our children.
- 53:43Speaker 1: We had a brunch over the Christmas holidays to celebrate
- 53:46Speaker 1: my husband's grandmother's birthday. My husband's grandmother gave a speech
- 53:50Speaker 1: and looked directly at me when she said that a
- 53:53Speaker 1: wife shouldn't be headstrong and should stay in her place
- 53:56Speaker 1: with a man. That's when I knew that I had
- 53:59Speaker 1: to set the record straight and let his sorry family
- 54:02Speaker 1: know that he's always been the problem. He's always been
- 54:06Speaker 1: the problem. I couldn't figure I couldn't figure out if
- 54:09Speaker 1: he was having women in my house or not, so
- 54:12Speaker 1: I hid two cameras to try to catch him. It
- 54:15Speaker 1: wasn't until recently that I got exactly what I was
- 54:19Speaker 1: looking for. I went out to a convention in Dallas
- 54:22Speaker 1: and took the kids. My husband entertained a woman for
- 54:26Speaker 1: two nights in my home. The second night, they had
- 54:30Speaker 1: sex on the couch in the den, and it was
- 54:33Speaker 1: caught on camera. I held on to it until his
- 54:37Speaker 1: fiftieth birthday party. His sister did a video montage of
- 54:41Speaker 1: my husband's accomplishments and gave it to me for the party.
- 54:45Speaker 1: I was able to add the three minutes of my
- 54:48Speaker 1: husband's sex tape to the end of the video. During
- 54:51Speaker 1: the party, I had my children leave the room and
- 54:54Speaker 1: I played the video. Everyone was shocked and speechless, vindicated,
- 55:01Speaker 1: and I have filed for divorce. His family really hates
- 55:05Speaker 1: how I exposed him. Was I wrong for showing the
- 55:08Speaker 1: video to his family at his party? Look, it doesn't
- 55:16Speaker 1: matter at this point. It doesn't matter what you do
- 55:19Speaker 1: or you know, if you were wrong or not. At
- 55:21Speaker 1: this point, the verdict is in. They hate you no
- 55:24Speaker 1: matter what. They're suffering from what's called misplaced anger. And
- 55:27Speaker 1: it's quite obvious they never liked you. They even poisoned
- 55:31Speaker 1: your grandmother's mind and she lets you know just how
- 55:35Speaker 1: she felt about you in her speech, you know, talking
- 55:39Speaker 1: about a woman should be shouldn't be headstrong, and should
- 55:42Speaker 1: stay in her place with a man. And all that
- 55:45Speaker 1: your husband was caught on film having sex in your home.
- 55:48Speaker 1: They all saw it. They chose to take his side
- 55:51Speaker 1: and blame you. If I were you, I wouldn't care
- 55:54Speaker 1: what his judgment family thought of me. They're believing what
- 55:58Speaker 1: they want to believe at this point, and the truth
- 56:00Speaker 1: is what they saw on film. They don't care. The
- 56:04Speaker 1: best thing you could have done, after all, this was
- 56:06Speaker 1: filed for divorce from this man who lives in your home.
- 56:09Speaker 1: He has them in your husband for years, you said
- 56:11Speaker 1: at least five years, and I'm surprised you tolerated it
- 56:14Speaker 1: for as long as you did. But you said it
- 56:16Speaker 1: was for the kids. But kids are not It's time
- 56:20Speaker 1: to let this thing go now, because there's nowhere else
- 56:23Speaker 1: to go but your separate ways after something like this, Steve,
- 56:27Speaker 1: you know, I have a unique way of looking at
- 56:29Speaker 1: these letters, and I read very carefully what people are
- 56:36Speaker 1: saying because I like timelines, you know, I like to
- 56:39Speaker 1: figure out where people are in their life when they
- 56:41Speaker 1: write these letters. So I have picked up a couple
- 56:44Speaker 1: of clues. I've been married for over half of my life.
- 56:51Speaker 1: My ex husband checked out the marriage five years ago.
- 56:54Speaker 1: He started sleeping on the couch and then eventually moved
- 56:57Speaker 1: to the guest room. If you've been married over half
- 57:02Speaker 1: your life, and later on in the letter you wait
- 57:06Speaker 1: to expose your husband at his fiftieth birthday party, I'm
- 57:11Speaker 1: assuming you were married in your twenties and y'all fifty.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Let's just say y'all got married at twenty five and
- 57:19Speaker 1: y'all fifty. Now, that's how you've been married over half
- 57:22Speaker 1: your life. That's what I'm going to assume with the
- 57:25Speaker 1: timeline five years ago, he checked out and moved into
- 57:30Speaker 1: the guest room. I'm okay with not having sex because
- 57:33Speaker 1: it wasn't ever that good anyway. Now, you say you
- 57:38Speaker 1: weren't upset about not having sex, but then you said
- 57:43Speaker 1: I went through periods of being bitter, but I didn't
- 57:46Speaker 1: do anything drastic because of our children. What if you
- 57:49Speaker 1: ain't canning about having a sex. But you what you're
- 57:51Speaker 1: mad for? Now? See little conflict here. Conflict. You were
- 57:56Speaker 1: upset because he checked out the marriage, and you should
- 57:59Speaker 1: have done something about it in spite of the children.
- 58:02Speaker 1: He told his family, I was verbally verbally abusive to it. Now,
- 58:07Speaker 1: he told one side of the story, But she were
- 58:09Speaker 1: verbally abusive to him. And you know who you were
- 58:12Speaker 1: because you said you got bitter. You can't cause a
- 58:16Speaker 1: woman to get bitter, and then she let you live
- 58:18Speaker 1: in that house in peace. DA's are not fitting to happen,
- 58:22Speaker 1: ain't No, women are not built that way. You can't
- 58:24Speaker 1: make a woman bitter and then she don't bring up
- 58:27Speaker 1: bit her nests. No, it just don't happen. That don't
- 58:31Speaker 1: make her wrong. You made her bitter by checking out
- 58:35Speaker 1: the marriage, and she became very verbally abusive. He told
- 58:39Speaker 1: that part. He didn't tell his family he had checked out, though,
- 58:43Speaker 1: and his mother only tolerated me so she could see
- 58:46Speaker 1: our children. We had a brunch over Christmas Holidays to
- 58:49Speaker 1: celebrate my husband grandmama's birthday. My husband grandmama gave a
- 58:52Speaker 1: speech and looked directly at me when she said a
- 58:54Speaker 1: wife shouldn't be headstrong and should stay at her place
- 58:57Speaker 1: with a man. Listen to this. The grandmama stood up
- 59:01Speaker 1: at the party and saying a white shouldn't be headstrong
- 59:04Speaker 1: and should stay in her place with a man. Can
- 59:07Speaker 1: your grandmama speak at Mordred's birthday party? Nicktion, This is
- 59:13Speaker 1: not about you. Your grandmama will speech at Mordred's birthday party. Nick,
- 59:21Speaker 1: we're being headstrong. We'll have part two of Steve's response
- 59:25Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
- 59:28Speaker 1: Strawberry letters subjects caught on film. We'll get back into
- 59:32Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve looks
- 59:36Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is caught on film. Well,
- 59:41Speaker 1: this woman been married over half a life, so I'm
- 59:43Speaker 1: assuming she's fifty been married because her husband's fifty birthday
- 59:46Speaker 1: is coming up in the letter. I'm assuming they got
- 59:48Speaker 1: married in the twenty so he would go, oh, he
- 59:50Speaker 1: checked out the marriage five years ago, start sleeping on
- 59:52Speaker 1: couch and moving to the guest room. She's okay, She's
- 59:55Speaker 1: okay with not having sex because it wasn't that good anyway. Well,
- 59:59Speaker 1: then right out that, she said she went through peers
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: of being bitter but didn't do anything draft because of
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: the kids. And so that means you wasn't okay with
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: him checking out the marriage, And I understood. He told
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: his family that I was verbally abusive to him, which
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: is true because you were bitter, and you have every
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: right to be verbally abusive because he's abusive to you.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: What man checks out the marriage and stay in the house.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: That's abuse right there. You did verbally abuse him, but
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: he did not tell his family what he did to you.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: He told one side of the story. That's why people
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: always tell, right, So I'm so far on your sizes.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: His mother only tolerated me so she could see the children.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: We had a brunch over the Christmas holidays because the
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: grandmama's for her grandma's birthday party. My huband grandmama gave
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: a speech and looked a rectory at me when she
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: said that a wife should shouldn't be headstrong and should
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: stay in her place with a maiden. The only thing
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: I gotta this was ken your grandmother speak at Margie's
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: birthday party. That bad. She comes talk to my headstone
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: and as white and try to talk some old school
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: ass sense into hook because she only a new thing. Okay,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: so she's not coming. That's when I knew I had
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: to set the record straight, and I hadn't let his
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: sord family know that he always been the problem. So
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I couldn't figure out if he was having women in
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: my house and not. So I hear two cameras to
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: try to catch him. You do know he's been having sex,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: ain't no man checked out for five years and ain't
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: had sex because you don't think it's good. He fitna
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: go get a whole lot of opinions about his sex.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: It's this good, She's right, he finn get a whole
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: lot of opinions about his Sex's it to you? I
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: don't like it? She was right about that. Next and
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: he just doing numbers. Now, somebody fitning to like this
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: little sorry sex he got and so she put cameras
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: up to try to catch them. Wasn't to recently that
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I got exactly what I was looking for. Went out
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: to vention in Dallas, two kids with him, and he
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: had entertained the woman for two nights in the house.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Second night that had sex on the couch in the den,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: and you caught it on camp. My lord, Well you
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: held on to this and to his fiftieth birthday party.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: How you did that, I will never know, because I'm
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: telling you right now, everybody out there walking in with
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: that damn take the night she get it. I'm getting
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: woke up with cold water. Heyy got something wants you
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: to see. His sister did a video montage of my
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: husband's accomplishments, gave it to me for the party. I'll
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: be in the low down there. The hell of that.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I am the three minutes of my husband's sex tape
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: and put it on at the end of the video. Well,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I will go agree with you nine that sex is
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: side because all his sex tape is three minutes. I'll
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: be damned you saying he had some sorry sins and
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: now he'd put it on somebody ain't ain't but three
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: damn minutes I'd be damned you added three minutes of
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: the sex tape to the end of the video. During
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: the party, I had my children leave the room and
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: I played the video. Everybody was shocked. In speeches. I
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: guess they are because they're talking about it and done it.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: H what's his name, darniell did? I was trying to
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: thank for his age. It's not Herbert this time, ladies

- 1:04:16Speaker 1: one more doubt. Oh it's been too minute. I ain't
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: got but the middle of all right, everybody was shocked.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: I feel vindicated and have filed for divorce. Now here's
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: the part, surely that I think you kind of missed on.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: His family really hates how I exposed him. It ain't
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: that they didn't that they took his side. She they
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: hate the way you exposed him. You was dead wrong
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: for that, for waiting until that man's fiftieth birthday party.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Push it on that end or the montage tape got
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: his sister took all this time put together. He downed
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: up the ELX loud. He said, it's another year. He
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: dined at the local Union. He didn't want to basketball
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: and turning right here he had now Yo and bitter Bitty.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Then set up here and put the three minute six

- 1:07:40Speaker 1: it was a great match. It was a great match.

- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Do you know how bad of a girl she had
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: to be? Yeah, they talked about the father, but they
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: don't mention the mother. They mother be at all in

- 1:08:54Speaker 1: So our very own production director, cat Dog, we love
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: us some cat dogs. Shout out to cat Dog. Yeah,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: birth trending TikTok video two damn only to be called
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: cat dogs that name. I don't care. I wish I hadn't. Yeah,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: we love him. Uh well, anyway, he sent us this
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: trending TikTok video and Tommy you mentioned it to us.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: I think it was off the air on yesterday. Uh
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: So this dad, this is what the video is about.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: This dad brought his son some McDonald's and his baby
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: mama was upset that the dad didn't bring enough for
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: all of her children. Okay, she had more than just
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: this baby, and the baby mama was man. Yeah, the
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: baby mama was mad because he didn't bring enough to
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: feed everyone. Take a listen. No, I don't give my
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: full stay. If you're trying to help out, though you're
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: not helping out my son. But how are you happy
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: yoursel We're you'll only getting care from olden, just helding,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: not the other kids. Hit siblings, siblings, So he's nothing
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: eating for all his other sibilants and they're not eating
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: no ming donald No, why do I gotta pus watch
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: the car? No no, no, he's not gonna eat that
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: if you can't bring enough for everybody. So you're telling
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: me that I gotta bring so when I bought my
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: bring myself food, I gotta bring your kids food to them? Yes,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: how is that dumb? You sound dumb? You sound dumb?
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Nobody told him talk to mother. You had some other kids,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: they were your responsible, they got my responsibilities. Okay, but
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: if you're gonna bring one, you need to breathe for all?
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: How do that look that I'm playing watch how a
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: McDonald's and all the rest of the kids hain't eat
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: no McDonald's. You know, I get food stamps on that left.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: That ain't three kids. That ain't three kids. That ain't
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: y'all y'all. I'm not mad at this brother, And maybe
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: I'm being harsh, but I'm not mad. No, he came
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: to bring some food for his son. So now my
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: son can't eat because because I didn't bring You know,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: I don't know, I sign wrong. I have a different
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I have a different take. From the mother's standpoint, she
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: can't separate and make her children feel different, because now
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: she's in a dilemma if she allows his son to
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: eat the McDonald's and the other kids don't have McDonald's
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: because they don't understand what's going on. They don't know. Now, technically,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: this man is not responsible for those other children. They're
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: not his. But the mother is responsible for the other
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: children and how they feel, think and act, and she
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: is worth her salt as a woman. She can't show
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: favoritism to one child over the next. And all she
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: was saying to the man was, if you're gonna bring
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: food for one, brain for them all. Now is he
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: obligated to bring for them all? Most certainly not. He
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: has a fact. Those are not his kids, what they
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: daddy's at. But when you come over to that house
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: for your visitation for your son, you have to realize
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: that he is a sibling with brothers and sisters, and
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: if you bring something for him, these are still children now,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: they don't know nothing about the check. Don't come to
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: the level. They don't. All they know is I can't
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: get no McDonald's, but he can. That's the problem that
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: the mother has, and that's why from the mother, I
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: look at it this way. So me being a person
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I am, let's just say every now when I come
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: over there, I bring something for everybody but I. But
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I but if I'm not making that kind of money,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do that all the time. But I
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: should at least be allowed to bring my son what
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I want to bring my son. Everything'll pick your son
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: up and take let me come out and get in
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: the car everything. But you still should do those types
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: of things separate from the other kids, though, because baby
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: head and filling some kind of waf fr Julia, what
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: are you saying, man, I'm out in the car eating
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: the hot fries. I don't care nothing about my sister brother.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: I'm out here with my toy with my dad, the
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: toy that you got with your happy man. Yes, I
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: got what I wanted. I'm sorry your daddy don't think
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: about you like maya. Dude. It's not my father. The
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: guy is right in what he's saying. But the woman
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: is one hundred correct and how she's trying to handle it?
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Yeah for the same Coming up at twenty minutes after
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have more trending topics. Right after this,

- 1:14:13Speaker 1: it's incredibly painful, but my fingers are strong and I
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: am proud up my lift. Why did you do today?
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Bring all these stories on, make us look bad and
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: make us like we ain't work for damn? The story
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: to let us know we ain't meshing? Is that how
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: you're taking that? That's when you got that carry a
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: loafer bread with one finger and nah, two hundred and
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: eighty five pounds. I do give it so right, and
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: he said it was incredibly painful. I don't care what

- 1:15:47Speaker 1: so yeah, yeah Kanye, Yeah, Kanye, Yeah yeah. Actually man

- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Trump is actually a really bad dude, so yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: he really is. Yeah. I think I think Ye needs
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: a real friend, real friend that actually loves him, cares
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: about him, and wants to protect him, and that means
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: not agree with everything. Yeah, all right? Would you rather

- 1:16:26Speaker 1: you rather lose all of the memories? You gained this year.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: I ain't got a member damn thing. You know. We're

- 1:16:46Speaker 1: But I'm gonna be trying to remember when the hell
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: my money went to though, I'm trying to remember why

- 1:18:33Speaker 1: nine minutes after. It's our last break of the day,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: and we'll close out the show with the one and
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening to show?
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: All right, guys, Here we are our last break of
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: the day on this Thursday. It's been a good day,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: very good day, very good. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, let's shout
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: out everyone that joined us yesterday for a happy hour
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: seagrum six scive. We had fun. Thank y'all for showing up. Guys.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: You know, my closing remarks are kind of similar to
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: what I was talking about earlier today in my opening,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: and so I kind of wanted to reiterate and share
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: it with you. I've talked about so many things I've
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: learned in my sixty five trips around the sun. And
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: one of the things I really want to give on
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: and thank God for is wisdom and understanding. It's really
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: really funny, man, But when I was fifteen years old,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: the one thing I got out of church that I
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: has kept me throughout my life was the Book of Proverbs.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: I've never read any book in the Bible in its entirety,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: with the exception of Proverbs. It's the only book in
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: the Bible that I've read the entire chapter. I'm not
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: proud of that, but that's just it. That's just being
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: real with you. And the reason was because at fifteen
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I was listening to my mother talk one time at
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: a Bible study and I heard somebody at the Bible
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: studies say that Proverbs is the book of wisdom and understanding,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: and at fifteen I knew I wanted that, so believe
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: it or not, and I'm not making this up. At fifteen,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: that's what I thought would be important to my life.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: So from the age of fifteen, I started asking God
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: for wisdom and understanding because I heard them say in
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: the meeting that wisdom and understanding it's better than all
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: the silver and gold in the world. Now on top
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: of the fact that I was completely exhausted from poverty
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: and I wanted out of that in the worst way.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: This seemed to be something that I could grasp because
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: I had no way of getting the silver and gold
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: at fifteen. So I said, at fifteen, God helped make
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: me a wise person. And whether your opinion of me
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: is this or not, I thank God for that, because
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: He has given me a great deal of wisdom. He
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: has given me a great deal of common sense. And
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: I owe all of that and give all the credit
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: and honor to my heavenly Father, because it was not me,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: it was him answering the prayer of mine. I am
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: saying all that to say. One of the main things
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: that I've learned in my life that has kept me
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: alive and kept me going and kept me strong, it's
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: what I learned about fear and wary Because you know,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: I've often said in many of my speeches that fear
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: is the number one cause of failure in this country.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: People are so afraid to fail that they never attempt.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: People are so afraid of the negative outcome that they
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: refuse toy. People are so afraid if what somebody gonna
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: say about them, if they don't make it that they
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: get frozen by their fear. People are so afraid of
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: not knowing outcome results fear that they freeze. Fear kills success.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: I've said that, but let me tell you something else
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: about fear. Fear don't stop death. It stops life, Oh man, Fear,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: it does not stop death, It stops light. Don't go
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: down there. You might fall off that train, if you
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: go over that run, if you get on that airplane,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: that airplane might crash and everybody don't there die. The
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: people won't get on the airplanes because they're afraid of hight.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: If fear don't stop death, you might be afraid of height.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: You you you may die on the ground. You may have
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: a fear of water. You may not die shwomen, You
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: may die from a heart attack. Fear don't stop It
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: stops life. Fear freezes you from living. Fear causes you
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: to not move forward in your life. You all have
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: gotten to deal with fear differently. Fear is a part
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: of it. It's okay to be afraid. I'm afraid. I fret.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I have fearful moments. As a stand up comedian, I
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: cannot express to you the forty five minute anxiety period
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: before I walk out there. Oh my god, I never
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: got over that, that heart thumping, body changing experience. Every
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: night I walked out there, that was fear. But if
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: I don't walk out here, my life would never be
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: what it is. And I have to overcome that fear
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: every time I turn that coin, every time I walk
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: on that stay. Fear don't stop death, Fear stops life. Now,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna teach you something about wary, because I'm gonna
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: tell you something, man, and my mother worried all the time.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: My mother worried, worried, worried, worried, wary. And when I
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: end up learning about wherey y'all worrying don't take away
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: tomorrow's troubles. You can worry all you want, It changes
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: nothing about tomorrow. You can start worried about tomorrow right now.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: It changes nothing about tomorrow. Wary does not take away
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: tomorrow's troubles. It takes aways today's peace. Most people are
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: not living in peace today because they're so worried about
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: tomorrow and overly concerned about yesterday. Wary does not take
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: away tomorrow's troubles. It takes aways today's peace. Get a
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: relationship with God and find yourself some peace. Quit wearing
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: about stuff you ain't got control over. Tomorrow belongs to
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: God that is not yours. You are not even built
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: to deal with. You just got enough to deal with today.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: Get with God and get yourself in peace. Those are
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: my closing malls. Hope you got something from it. Hey, y'all,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: do yourself a favorite. Talk to God today. He would
