- 0:01Speaker 1: You may have seen the headline, and the headline is
- 0:04Speaker 1: one that was shocking to the world and it was
- 0:06Speaker 1: done on purpose by the Trump administration.
- 0:08Speaker 2: When it comes to China, China.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Is now facing up to a two and forty five
- 0:13Speaker 1: percent Trump tariff. Now, there's a lot that has happened
- 0:17Speaker 1: in the last twenty four hours. Not only did the
- 0:20Speaker 1: White House say China's facing this two hundred and forty
- 0:23Speaker 1: five percent tariff on imports the US, but they said
- 0:26Speaker 1: it was because of a result of its retaliatory actions
- 0:29Speaker 1: from China against US. Now this is going back and
- 0:33Speaker 1: forth at a rapid pace. Why does this matter Because
- 0:37Speaker 1: the trade war is obviously rattling global markets. Cutting off
- 0:41Speaker 1: Chinese imports is complicating American supply chain, and it is
- 0:46Speaker 1: also hurting Chinese exporters all but losing the US market
- 0:51Speaker 1: is quote a severe blow. And now they are putting
- 0:55Speaker 1: pressure on their own government to get a deal done.
- 0:59Speaker 2: So here's what we know.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Now there has been movement from China quietly.
- 1:04Speaker 2: China has now.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Appointed a new trade negotiator. China appointed a man by
- 1:10Speaker 1: the name of Lee Chong as its new trade negotiator
- 1:14Speaker 1: on Wednesday, in the midst of its terrifiight with the US.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Now this is a significant move that signals a change
- 1:22Speaker 1: in the style of their negotiations or lack thereof from Beijing. Now,
- 1:27Speaker 1: let me tell you more about Lee that you will
- 1:29Speaker 1: hear nowhere else. Prior to this new appointment, Lee spent
- 1:34Speaker 1: about four and a half years as China's ambassador to
- 1:37Speaker 1: the World Trade Organization that is, the body that governs
- 1:41Speaker 1: global commerce into which Beijing has appealed in its tariff
- 1:45Speaker 1: dispute with the US. Lee has also had permanent representative
- 1:50Speaker 1: status to the Chinese delegation to the UN Office in Geneva,
- 1:55Speaker 1: as well as other international organizations in Switzerland. We also
- 2:00Speaker 1: know that Lee participated in negotiating China's ascension to the
- 2:03Speaker 1: WTO known as the World Trade Organization more than twenty
- 2:07Speaker 1: years ago. This means there is real movement now, and movement,
- 2:13Speaker 1: as it was described by one as saying this quote,
- 2:16Speaker 1: there might be another style of negotiations from China. Lee
- 2:21Speaker 1: is an open minded person and supports free trade. That
- 2:25Speaker 1: is with the dean of the China Institute for WTO
- 2:28Speaker 1: Studies at the University of International Business and Economic Sideness
- 2:31Speaker 1: statement to the press, So what are people saying about
- 2:34Speaker 1: this in China, well, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said
- 2:38Speaker 1: there is no winner in tariff wars and trade wars,
- 2:42Speaker 1: the first time signaling that they may be willing to
- 2:44Speaker 1: do a deal. And China, he went on to say,
- 2:47Speaker 1: does not want to fight. Let me say that again.
- 2:50Speaker 1: China does not want to fight, but it is by
- 2:53Speaker 1: no means afraid to fight again, a major change in
- 2:57Speaker 1: the rhetoric coming out of Beijing. President Trump also wrote
- 3:01Speaker 1: on True Social nobody is getting off the hook for
- 3:04Speaker 1: the unfair trade balances and non monetary tariff barriers that
- 3:10Speaker 1: other countries have used against us, especially not China, which
- 3:14Speaker 1: by far treats us the worst. That's what Trump said
- 3:17Speaker 1: on True Social on the thirteenth, he said, we are
- 3:20Speaker 1: taking a look at semiconductors and the whole electronic supply
- 3:25Speaker 1: chain in the upcoming national security tariff investigations. What has
- 3:29Speaker 1: been exposed is that we need to make products in
- 3:31Speaker 1: the US and that we will not be held hostage
- 3:34Speaker 1: by other countries, especially hostile trading nations like China, which
- 3:39Speaker 1: will do everything within its power to disrespect the American people.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Which brings us now to the newest headline. As I
- 3:47Speaker 1: said a moment ago, things are moving rapidly and this
- 3:50Speaker 1: is good news for Americans as well. Trump's tariff update
- 3:55Speaker 1: tonight reads like this. Let me say this again, three
- 3:58Speaker 1: two one line reads like this. China is now signaling
- 4:03Speaker 1: a quote readiness to talk if US shows respect amid
- 4:08Speaker 1: the numbers game. Again, this is very different than what
- 4:11Speaker 1: they were saying just twenty four hours ago. China is
- 4:14Speaker 1: now expressing openness into trade talks with the US under
- 4:19Speaker 1: certain conditions, even after the White House clarified that China
- 4:23Speaker 1: now faces up to a two hundred and forty five
- 4:26Speaker 1: percent tariff.
- 4:27Speaker 2: On imports to the US.
- 4:29Speaker 1: This goes back to what Donald Trump said all along,
- 4:33Speaker 1: I'm not flinching on countries that are taking advantage of
- 4:35Speaker 1: the American workers, the American people. He also said it
- 4:39Speaker 1: was going to be a national security issue, which you
- 4:41Speaker 1: just heard them mentioned yet again, and the President said,
- 4:45Speaker 1: I'm more than willing to sit down to get a
- 4:46Speaker 1: fair deal for the American people. And with China pointing
- 4:50Speaker 1: Lee as its new trade negotiator, it signals a major
- 4:54Speaker 1: potential shift in the approach to trade discussions, and that
- 4:58Speaker 1: is not only good for Americans, but also for the
- 5:02Speaker 1: entire world. You may remember the other day there was
- 5:05Speaker 1: reports out that there were fifty countries that had lined
- 5:09Speaker 1: up to negotiate their terrors to the Trump administration. Then
- 5:13Speaker 1: that number went to seventy, and that is when the
- 5:16Speaker 1: media started getting quiet on the story. We now have
- 5:20Speaker 1: a new number, and the Trump administration has told us
- 5:24Speaker 1: that they are now negotiating with one hundred and thirty
- 5:28Speaker 1: countries on tariffs. Now, I want you to hear this
- 5:31Speaker 1: back and forth with liberal Jake Tapper over at CNN
- 5:35Speaker 1: on say of the Union talking with the National Economic
- 5:38Speaker 1: Council Director Kevin Hassett. And here is what Jake Tapper
- 5:42Speaker 1: tried to say when he was baiting him into.
- 5:45Speaker 2: A false narrative. Take a listen.
- 5:48Speaker 3: What do you say to small business owners or even
- 5:50Speaker 3: big business owners who say they're having difficulty making long
- 5:53Speaker 3: term business decisions because the country scenes right now to
- 5:56Speaker 3: be run by capricious whim.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Oh i'd think it at all. It's run by Capricia's whim.
- 6:01Speaker 5: The way that I would think about it is that
- 6:03Speaker 5: in the previous administration, you can sort of say, if
- 6:06Speaker 5: you're thinking about it into football analogy is that they
- 6:08Speaker 5: were running out the clock and what's going on now,
- 6:11Speaker 5: and the Trump administration is across a wide array of
- 6:14Speaker 5: policy areas.
- 6:15Speaker 4: We're in a two.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Minute offense, and the two minute offense is pushing, as
- 6:19Speaker 5: you've seen the reconciliation build through, so that we get
- 6:22Speaker 5: tax relief for America people, deregulation, and of course trade policy. Now,
- 6:27Speaker 5: in the trade policy, the whole point of the trade
- 6:29Speaker 5: policy is to address the national emergency that we're too
- 6:33Speaker 5: dependent on foreign products in the US, especially if we
- 6:37Speaker 5: were at a time of conflict, and we're doing something
- 6:40Speaker 5: about that. And the Reciprocal Act was basically, guys, if
- 6:43Speaker 5: you come to the table and negotiate us with us
- 6:45Speaker 5: and treat us the same way we treat you, then
- 6:49Speaker 5: we'll get your rate really low. And so right now
- 6:51Speaker 5: one hundred and thirty countries, one hundred and thirty countries
- 6:54Speaker 5: have responded and we're negotiating with them, and they've got
- 6:57Speaker 5: their rate down to ten percent.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Really, it's kind of almost a two world system.
- 7:02Speaker 5: There's a process about China and that's very very nascent,
- 7:06Speaker 5: if at all, and then the process for everybody else.
- 7:09Speaker 5: So the process for everybody else is orderly. It's clear
- 7:12Speaker 5: people are coming to town with great offers. We've got
- 7:17Speaker 5: japanned Korea, India. I was just talking to the Foreign
- 7:21Speaker 5: Minister of India and everything is moving forward very quickly,
- 7:25Speaker 5: and so I guess the bottom line is that the
- 7:28Speaker 5: small business owner has experienced over the last few weeks
- 7:31Speaker 5: the start of a process that's settling down really quite quickly.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Gave one hundred and thirty countries are at ten percent now.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So if you want to know if the administration is
- 7:39Speaker 1: working hard to get these deals done, the answer is yes.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And are there people that are coming to the table.
- 7:44Speaker 1: The answer is yes. And are there a few no?
- 7:47Speaker 1: Are there some?
- 7:48Speaker 6: No?
- 7:48Speaker 2: Are there a lot?
- 7:49Speaker 7: Men?
- 7:49Speaker 1: Maybe you could go even beyond that, as I quote
- 7:53Speaker 1: the administration. So right now there are one hundred and
- 7:56Speaker 1: thirty countries. One hundred and thirty countries have responded and
- 8:00Speaker 1: we're negotiating with them, and they've got their rate down
- 8:03Speaker 1: to ten percent. So really it's almost a two world system.
- 8:09Speaker 1: There's a process that they said about countries that are
- 8:11Speaker 1: not willing to come to the table, places like China,
- 8:14Speaker 1: and those are going to be tough, but everyone else
- 8:18Speaker 1: they seem to be wanting the best deal they can
- 8:20Speaker 1: get with the American government, and that means it's an
- 8:23Speaker 1: amazing deal for the American people. So don't buy into
- 8:27Speaker 1: the fear mongering. Look at the actual results, and it's
- 8:31Speaker 1: clear that there's one hundred and thirty countries that are
- 8:34Speaker 1: dying to get a deal done with a Trump administration
- 8:37Speaker 1: who is putting American workers and businesses first instead of last.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Now that's not the only piece of good news. The
- 8:45Speaker 1: President is also listening to his advisors, and now we
- 8:48Speaker 1: know that there is going to be some exemptions on
- 8:50Speaker 1: some important products that do affect Americans. Right now, smartphones, computers,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and electronic devices are being exempt from the Trump administration's
- 9:01Speaker 1: tariffs on China. The administration announcing that various electronic devices
- 9:06Speaker 1: such as smartphones and computers will have the exemption from
- 9:10Speaker 1: the tariffs that have been imposed on China. In a
- 9:13Speaker 1: bulletin that was posted late Friday night by the US
- 9:16Speaker 1: Customs and Border Protection Agency, it was revealed that certain
- 9:20Speaker 1: products quote would be exempted from the tariffs. The tariff
- 9:24Speaker 1: exemptions on certain products apply retroactively to April to fifth.
- 9:29Speaker 1: According to Axios, the products would be exempt from recent
- 9:33Speaker 1: applied tariffs, while other pre April second tariffs would still apply.
- 9:39Speaker 1: The White House Press Secretary Caroline Levin explained in a statement,
- 9:42Speaker 1: the President Donald Trump has made it clear that the
- 9:45Speaker 1: United States cannot rely on China to manufacture critical technologies semiconductors, chips, smartphones,
- 9:54Speaker 1: and laptops, saying President Trump has made it clear America
- 9:58Speaker 1: cannot rely on China to manufacture critical technologies such as
- 10:03Speaker 1: those semiconductors, chips, smartphones, and laptops, and that's why the
- 10:08Speaker 1: President has secured trillions of dollars in US investments from
- 10:12Speaker 1: the largest tech companies in the world, including Apple, TSMC,
- 10:17Speaker 1: and Navidio. CNBC also reported that the guidance for the
- 10:22Speaker 1: USCBP includes exclusions for other electronic devices and components, including semiconductors,
- 10:29Speaker 1: solar cells, flat panel TV display, flash drives, and memory cards.
- 10:35Speaker 1: The White House Deputy Press Secretary explained that quote companies
- 10:39Speaker 1: are hustling to onshore their manufacturing the United States as
- 10:43Speaker 1: soon as possible. The outlet explained that the top twenty
- 10:47Speaker 1: product categories listed in the CBP guidelines are apparently exempt
- 10:52Speaker 1: from the one hundred and twenty five percent tariffs that
- 10:55Speaker 1: Trump is imposed on Chinese imports. The twenty product cagories
- 11:00Speaker 1: listed in the CBP guidelines are apparently exempt from the
- 11:03Speaker 1: one to twenty five tariffs and the ten percent baseline
- 11:07Speaker 1: tariff on imports from other countries. A twenty percent tariff
- 11:11Speaker 1: on all Chinese goods remains in effect quote unquote and
- 11:15Speaker 1: a presidential memorandum. Trump explained in the Executive Order fourteen
- 11:19Speaker 1: two fifty seven that regulations imports with a reciprocal tariff
- 11:24Speaker 1: to rectified trade practices that contribute to large and persistent
- 11:29Speaker 1: annual United States good trade deficits. I declare national emergency
- 11:34Speaker 1: arising from conditions reflected in large and persistent annual US
- 11:39Speaker 1: goods trade deficits, and imposed additional ad belorum duties as
- 11:45Speaker 1: I deem necessary and appropriate to deal with the unusual
- 11:49Speaker 1: and extraordinary threat, which has its source and whole are
- 11:53Speaker 1: substantial part outside of the US. The national security and
- 11:57Speaker 1: economic of the United States of America is what is
- 12:00Speaker 1: stated in this Executive order.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Now here's what we know.
- 12:05Speaker 1: The President's being clear that he's not going to allow
- 12:08Speaker 1: China to get away with much of what they've been doing,
- 12:11Speaker 1: But there are certain things that America does need in
- 12:14Speaker 1: the near term as we start manufacturing in this country.
- 12:18Speaker 1: This is also another example of the President listening to
- 12:21Speaker 1: those around him and listening to the American people and industry.
- 12:25Speaker 1: They are saying, we love that you're fighting for us,
- 12:28Speaker 1: but there may be some certain things will need some
- 12:30Speaker 1: help on in the short term, and this is proof
- 12:33Speaker 1: that the President is obviously putting Americans first. Yet again,
- 12:39Speaker 1: it is amazing what Democrats will say and do just
- 12:43Speaker 1: to be against Donald Trump and the American people. We
- 12:46Speaker 1: had an election and it was very clear the American
- 12:49Speaker 1: people said they wanted a secure border. We had an
- 12:51Speaker 1: election and it was very clear the voters said they
- 12:54Speaker 1: wanted to start locking up violent criminals, especially those that
- 12:57Speaker 1: are in MS thirteen gangs and other gangs from around
- 13:01Speaker 1: the world. We also know that the president had a
- 13:04Speaker 1: mandate to clean up everything that had been broken by
- 13:08Speaker 1: the open border policies of the Biden administration. We'll fast
- 13:11Speaker 1: forward just a few months in to his second term
- 13:14Speaker 1: in office, and now Democrats are actually in a position
- 13:19Speaker 1: I didn't even think they were dumb enough to put themselves.
- 13:22Speaker 2: In, Yet here we are.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Democrats are now going together, standing and demanding the return
- 13:30Speaker 1: of deported MS thirteen gang members. One senator in particular
- 13:36Speaker 1: is leading the charge Senator Chris van Holland. He's a
- 13:40Speaker 1: Democrat from Maryland, and he is now requesting a meeting
- 13:44Speaker 1: with Al Salvador's president, who was in the Oval office
- 13:47Speaker 1: on Monday, to demand the return of an individual that
- 13:52Speaker 1: is known as an MS thirteen gang member who was
- 13:55Speaker 1: deported to El Salvador. Now, this is the best audio
- 14:00Speaker 1: I've heard in a long time to explain just how
- 14:03Speaker 1: radical the left has become. And also our media as
- 14:07Speaker 1: they're trying to spend a story to their advantage, saying
- 14:11Speaker 1: that an individual that left America should immediately be returned,
- 14:16Speaker 1: someone who broke into this country, and also someone who
- 14:19Speaker 1: is an MS thirteen gang member. I want you to
- 14:22Speaker 1: listen carefully to Pambondi in the President of the United States
- 14:25Speaker 1: of America dismantle the media's narrative as the El Salvador
- 14:31Speaker 1: president not only refused to return the deported resident, but
- 14:36Speaker 1: explained that he was happy to take even more.
- 14:39Speaker 8: Turn the man who your administration says was mistaken the
- 14:42Speaker 8: man who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador.
- 14:45Speaker 7: Well, let me ask Pam, would you list to answer.
- 14:47Speaker 6: That question, Sir President, First and foremost, he was illegally
- 14:52Speaker 6: in our country. He had been illegally in our country.
- 14:55Speaker 6: And in twenty nineteen, two courts, an immigration court and
- 14:59Speaker 6: an a immigration court ruled that he was a member
- 15:02Speaker 6: of MS thirteen and he was illegally in our country
- 15:07Speaker 6: right now. It was a paperwork, it was additional paperwork
- 15:11Speaker 6: had needed to be done. That's up to El Salvador
- 15:15Speaker 6: if they want to return him, that's not up to us.
- 15:17Speaker 6: The Supreme Court rule President that if as El Salvador
- 15:21Speaker 6: wants to return him, this is international matters, foreign affairs.
- 15:25Speaker 6: If they wanted to return him, we would facilitate it,
- 15:29Speaker 6: meaning provide a plane.
- 15:32Speaker 7: And if you are doing a great job, and you
- 15:36Speaker 7: just also respond to that question because you know it's
- 15:39Speaker 7: asked by CNN, and they always ask it with a
- 15:41Speaker 7: slant because they're totally slanting because they don't know what's happening.
- 15:45Speaker 7: That's why nobody's watching them. But would you answer that
- 15:48Speaker 7: question also.
- 15:49Speaker 9: Yes, gladly. So, as Pam mentioned, there's the illegal alien
- 15:54Speaker 9: from El Salvador. So with respect to you, he's a
- 15:58Speaker 9: citizen of El Salvador. So it's very arrogant, even for
- 16:02Speaker 9: American media to suggest that we would even tell El
- 16:04Speaker 9: Salvador how to handle their own citizens as a starting point,
- 16:08Speaker 9: as two immigration courts found that he was a member
- 16:10Speaker 9: of MS thirteen. When President Trump declared MS thirteen to
- 16:13Speaker 9: be a foreign terrorist organization, that meant that he was
- 16:16Speaker 9: no longer eligible under federal law, which I'm sure you
- 16:19Speaker 9: know you're very familiar with the iona that he was
- 16:21Speaker 9: no longer eligible for any form of immigration or relief
- 16:24Speaker 9: in the United States. So we had a deportation order
- 16:27Speaker 9: that was valid, which meant that under our law he's
- 16:29Speaker 9: not even allowed to be present in the United States
- 16:32Speaker 9: and had to be returned because of the foreign terrorist designation.
- 16:37Speaker 9: This issue was then by a district court judge completely inverted,
- 16:41Speaker 9: and a district court judge tried to tell the administration
- 16:44Speaker 9: that they had to kidnap a citizen of El Salvador
- 16:47Speaker 9: and fly him back here. That issue was raised at
- 16:49Speaker 9: the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court said the district
- 16:52Speaker 9: court order was unlawful and its main components were reversed
- 16:56Speaker 9: nine zero, unanimously stating clearly that neither Secretary of State
- 17:02Speaker 9: nor the President could be compelled by anybody to forcibly
- 17:05Speaker 9: retrieve a citizen of El Salvador. From Al Salvador, who
- 17:08Speaker 9: again is a member of MS thirteen, which is I'm
- 17:11Speaker 9: sure you understand, rapes, little girls, murder's woman, murder's children,
- 17:16Speaker 9: is engaged in the most barbaric activities in the world.
- 17:18Speaker 9: And I can promise you if he was your neighbor,
- 17:20Speaker 9: you would move right away, So.
- 17:21Speaker 8: You don't plan the Supreme Court.
- 17:25Speaker 7: In the Supreme Court sieve, was it nine to nothing?
- 17:27Speaker 9: Yes, there's a nine zero in our favor against the
- 17:31Speaker 9: district court ruling saying that no district court has the
- 17:34Speaker 9: power to compel the foreign policy function of the United States.
- 17:37Speaker 9: As Pam said, the ruling solely stated that if this
- 17:41Speaker 9: individual at El Salvador sole discretion was set back to
- 17:45Speaker 9: our country, that we could deport him a second time. Well,
- 17:48Speaker 9: no version of this legally ends up with him ever
- 17:50Speaker 9: living here because he is a citizen of El Salvador,
- 17:53Speaker 9: that is the president at El Salvador. Your questions about it,
- 17:56Speaker 9: per the court, can only.
- 17:57Speaker 7: Be directed to him as.
- 18:02Speaker 8: This, do you plan to return him?
- 18:04Speaker 4: Well?
- 18:05Speaker 10: Yeah, and post your guys suggested that I smuggle the
- 18:08Speaker 10: terrorists in today United States?
- 18:09Speaker 11: Right?
- 18:11Speaker 10: How can I smuggle?
- 18:12Speaker 12: How can I return him today?
- 18:13Speaker 10: United It's like I smuggled him into the United.
- 18:16Speaker 12: States or whether you of course I'm not going to
- 18:18Speaker 12: do it. It's like, let mean that the question is preposterous.
- 18:22Speaker 12: How can I smuggle the terrorists in today United States?
- 18:25Speaker 12: I don't have the power to return him to the
- 18:27Speaker 12: United States.
- 18:28Speaker 10: You can release inside of but I'm not releasing I mean,
- 18:31Speaker 10: we're not very fond of releasing terrorists into our country.
- 18:34Speaker 10: We just turned the murder capital of the world to
- 18:35Speaker 10: the safest country of the Western hemisphere, and he want
- 18:37Speaker 10: us to go back into the releasing criminals so they
- 18:41Speaker 10: can go back to being the murder capital of the world.
- 18:43Speaker 12: And that's that's not kind.
- 18:44Speaker 7: But they'd love to have a criminal you know, h schedule.
- 18:47Speaker 12: I mean, I mean there's a fac they would love it.
- 18:50Speaker 7: Yeah, shick piece of shick people.
- 18:53Speaker 11: Mar Yeah, I mean Steve and Iland. I don't understand
- 18:57Speaker 11: what the confusion is. This individual is a citizen of
- 19:00Speaker 11: He was illegally in the United States and was returned
- 19:03Speaker 11: to his country. That's where you deport people back to
- 19:05Speaker 11: their country of origin. Except for Venezuela that wasn't refusing
- 19:08Speaker 11: to take people back of places like that. I can
- 19:10Speaker 11: tell you this, mister President no, the foreign policy of
- 19:13Speaker 11: the United States is conducted by the President of the
- 19:15Speaker 11: United States.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Not by a court, and no court in the United
- 19:19Speaker 2: States has a right to.
- 19:20Speaker 11: Conduct the foreign policy of the United States.
- 19:22Speaker 6: It's that simple.
- 19:23Speaker 1: This may be one of the best clips I have
- 19:25Speaker 1: ever seen come out of the White House, and the
- 19:28Speaker 1: beat down for Caitlin Collins at CNN is truly incredible.
- 19:32Speaker 1: So make sure you make a liberal angry share this
- 19:35Speaker 1: audio wherever you can share it on social media, because
- 19:41Speaker 1: this was a glorious takedown with the facts of the
- 19:44Speaker 1: bias media and the Democrat machine advocating for bringing a
- 19:50Speaker 1: terrorist back into the United States of America. Now let
- 19:53Speaker 1: me also just say one other thing about this interaction here.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Not only did you have the President using facts, so
- 20:00Speaker 1: had the Attorney General Pambondi. You had the White House
- 20:02Speaker 1: Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Stephen
- 20:05Speaker 1: Miller in there. You had the Secretary of State Marco Rubio,
- 20:09Speaker 1: and you had the Salvadorian president all look at the media,
- 20:14Speaker 1: specifically Caitlyn Collins at CNN and took her to task
- 20:18Speaker 1: on the facts. This is how we win this battle
- 20:22Speaker 1: when they put out lies that this is someone an
- 20:24Speaker 1: American that we wrongfully sent somewhere else, and then they
- 20:29Speaker 1: turned this into a news cycle, which is exactly what
- 20:31Speaker 1: you could hear Caitlyn Collins doing there.
- 20:34Speaker 2: You just had the most.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Brilliant beatdown with the facts from a foreign leader, the
- 20:41Speaker 1: president and his top people in his administration. By the way,
- 20:44Speaker 1: it's also sad that this is what it takes. But
- 20:47Speaker 1: speaking after Bondi, who noted that two immigration courts ruled
- 20:51Speaker 1: that this individual was an MS thirteen gang member, Miller
- 20:54Speaker 1: made another great point there, and he made the point
- 20:57Speaker 1: that it is very arrogant, even for American media, suggests
- 21:00Speaker 1: that we would even tell El Salvador how to handle
- 21:03Speaker 1: their own citizens as a starting point. And then you
- 21:07Speaker 1: also heard the president of El Salvador say, you're implying
- 21:12Speaker 1: CNN that I should be smuggling a terrorist out of
- 21:15Speaker 1: my country and putting them back in the United States
- 21:17Speaker 1: of America. We're gonna have a lot more battles like this.
- 21:20Speaker 1: We're gonna have to do everything we can to fight
- 21:23Speaker 1: back when this happens. But when Trump also underscored the
- 21:27Speaker 1: nine to zero unanimous ruling from the Supreme Court, and
- 21:30Speaker 1: Miller emphasized there's no scenario that results in this guy
- 21:33Speaker 1: legally living in the United States of America. And he said,
- 21:36Speaker 1: as Pam said, is El Salvador sole direction we sent
- 21:40Speaker 1: him back to their country. We could deport him a
- 21:43Speaker 1: second time if they brought him back, but he said,
- 21:45Speaker 1: quote no version of this legally ends up with him
- 21:47Speaker 1: ever living here in America because.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Why he is a citizen of Al Salvador.
- 21:54Speaker 1: This is how we have to fight them, and it's
- 21:56Speaker 1: sad that this is our level of like our burden
- 21:59Speaker 1: of proof to win these arguments. But when we do
- 22:01Speaker 1: win them, we've got to make sure everyone hears it
- 22:05Speaker 1: because this is an incredibly important point that was made.
- 22:09Speaker 1: It was an embarrassment to Caitlyn Collins at CNN, as
- 22:13Speaker 1: it should have been. And this was a huge victory
- 22:16Speaker 1: for the rule of law by the President and everyone
- 22:18Speaker 1: else in his cabinet.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Saving you money.
- 22:22Speaker 1: It is a promise that Donald Trump said he was
- 22:24Speaker 1: going to make good on when it came to government waste,
- 22:26Speaker 1: fraud and abuse. We know what Doge has been doing,
- 22:29Speaker 1: but we now have found out other ways that the
- 22:32Speaker 1: President is helping make Americans more money. And this is
- 22:35Speaker 1: coming from the EPA Administrator Lee Zelden. He said in
- 22:39Speaker 1: an interview that he is quote shocked by how much
- 22:43Speaker 1: money we are able to save with quote the largest
- 22:46Speaker 1: deregulatory action ever, slashing quote trillions of dollars in deregulation.
- 22:53Speaker 1: The Environmental Protection Agency chief Zelden spoke during a roundtable
- 22:58Speaker 1: with Breitbart News editoring chief about what all is happening
- 23:02Speaker 1: and the agency's efforts to slash government waste, fraud, and abuse.
- 23:06Speaker 1: The EPA administrator, a former congressman, has now moved to
- 23:10Speaker 1: cancel over twenty two billion in contracts as part of
- 23:15Speaker 1: President Donald Trump's initiative to eliminate diversity, equity and Inclusion
- 23:21Speaker 1: policies known as DEI. He also has said that they
- 23:25Speaker 1: are canceling environmental justice grants and canceling other government spending
- 23:31Speaker 1: that is basically just straight up waste and fraud. Zelden
- 23:35Speaker 1: emphasized the degree to which the administration has been able
- 23:38Speaker 1: to make significant.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Savings by cutting.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Zelden said the agency's annual operating budget is ten billion dollars,
- 23:47Speaker 1: while they have been able to cut twenty two billion
- 23:50Speaker 1: in grants alone. Yes, twenty two billion in grants now.
- 23:56Speaker 1: The leader of the agency said quote one month ago.
- 24:00Speaker 1: That amounts to the largest deregulatory action in the history
- 24:03Speaker 1: of the United States of America. One agency will do
- 24:07Speaker 1: more deregulation in twenty twenty five than entire federal government
- 24:12Speaker 1: wide deregulatory efforts ever of any administration. He went on
- 24:17Speaker 1: to say, We're going to have trillions of dollars of
- 24:20Speaker 1: deregulation just in the EPA, just in twenty twenty five.
- 24:27Speaker 1: We're going to do all this while creating jobs, including
- 24:30Speaker 1: in the auto sector. We're going to make it easier
- 24:33Speaker 1: to buy a home, make it easier to be able
- 24:36Speaker 1: to heat your home. This is the mandate, this is
- 24:40Speaker 1: the term mandate. This is what people voted for last November,
- 24:45Speaker 1: and we're going to follow through to get it done.
- 24:47Speaker 1: He went on to say, So, if you're asking what
- 24:50Speaker 1: is the future of these terms like environmental justice or
- 24:54Speaker 1: climate change, We're going back to the basics, to the
- 24:58Speaker 1: core mission at EPA. It is protecting human health and
- 25:02Speaker 1: the environment, and we are going to power the great
- 25:05Speaker 1: American comeback now. Zelden announced in mid March that he
- 25:08Speaker 1: would move to clear hundreds of backlog cases to clean air,
- 25:13Speaker 1: saying that the Biden administration focused on partisan ideological pursuits
- 25:18Speaker 1: rather than the agency's core mission, saying we're going to
- 25:21Speaker 1: go back to those basics, and the core mission at
- 25:23Speaker 1: the EPA is protecting you the environment, and we're going
- 25:27Speaker 1: to make sure that we do that. Pillarwani said is
- 25:31Speaker 1: clean air and water for all Americans, to unleash energy dominance.
- 25:36Speaker 1: He said, it's important that we make sure that the
- 25:39Speaker 1: American people understand that the government is on their side.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Zelden also made it.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Clear that the total goal of his job and his
- 25:47Speaker 1: department is to make it easier for Americans to succeed
- 25:51Speaker 1: in business while also giving us protection for the basics
- 25:55Speaker 1: at the core of the EPA, not a partisan political
- 26:00Speaker 1: green ideology or green religion. And this is exactly what
- 26:05Speaker 1: the American people voted for when they said we want
- 26:07Speaker 1: Donald Trump back in the White House, and now they're
- 26:11Speaker 1: getting it now.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Zelden also is getting in on the other.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Major issue today, and that is political violence that has
- 26:17Speaker 1: been mainstreamed against conservatives. You may not remember this, but
- 26:22Speaker 1: Zelden was actually a victim of political violence when he
- 26:25Speaker 1: was running for office in New York. He spoke with
- 26:28Speaker 1: Laura Ingram about exactly how bad it's gotten in this
- 26:32Speaker 1: country because of the Democrats that are advocating for this.
- 26:37Speaker 8: And that's the angle joining me now, EPA Administrator Lee Zelden.
- 26:40Speaker 8: He's also been the target of political violence in recent years.
- 26:45Speaker 8: In twenty twenty two, during his own New York Group
- 26:47Speaker 8: natorial campaign, a man with a sharp object climbed up
- 26:51Speaker 8: on stage while Zelden was speaking, and Lee quickly grabbed
- 26:56Speaker 8: his arm and others jumped in to subdue the man.
- 26:58Speaker 8: Fortunately no one was hurt. It's a close call, and
- 27:01Speaker 8: last November, a pipe bomb threat was sent to his
- 27:04Speaker 8: home with a pro Palestinian themed message, Mister administrator, it's
- 27:09Speaker 8: good to see you tonight. Your reaction to the ramp
- 27:14Speaker 8: up of this violence, and we should say tonight that
- 27:18Speaker 8: we're learning that Congressoman Nancy Mace was threatened by another
- 27:24Speaker 8: man arrested for threatening the president. Sean Monper of Butler, Pennsylvania,
- 27:28Speaker 8: allegedly said he wanted to put a bullet in her skull.
- 27:32Speaker 8: Your reaction to all this tonight.
- 27:34Speaker 13: This needs to be treated as the fringe. And there
- 27:37Speaker 13: are people who are in politics who have individuals across
- 27:41Speaker 13: the country who follow them, and these people in the
- 27:46Speaker 13: office have been following those people instead of leading them.
- 27:50Speaker 13: This comes from the fringe. It needs to be treated
- 27:53Speaker 13: from the fringe, and it needs to be treated with
- 27:55Speaker 13: your tolerance. There's a lot of clickbait. You played the
- 27:59Speaker 13: clip by Taylor Lorenz, and maybe she gets more following.
- 28:03Speaker 13: People who might be followers of this assassin might now
- 28:08Speaker 13: start following Taylor Lorenz, so she feeds into it and
- 28:11Speaker 13: it normalizes it. And we shouldn't be trying to make
- 28:15Speaker 13: assassinations great again in this country. It should be something
- 28:18Speaker 13: that's identified as a ten crazy on the matrix. And
- 28:22Speaker 13: whether it's coming from the right or the left, if
- 28:24Speaker 13: you're a leader in government, if you're a leader at all,
- 28:28Speaker 13: you should be leading those people who follow you, as
- 28:30Speaker 13: opposed to being led by them. And the last thing
- 28:32Speaker 13: I would say on this is there's an attempt right
- 28:36Speaker 13: now to try to figure out how to oppose President
- 28:39Speaker 13: Trump and the right, the people who are out of
- 28:41Speaker 13: power right now, and they're flailing. They can't figure out
- 28:44Speaker 13: the right names to call, the right tactics to use,
- 28:47Speaker 13: and they're getting more and more extreme. There's not a
- 28:50Speaker 13: more important moment than right now for these democrats who
- 28:53Speaker 13: are out of power to be sending that message that
- 28:56Speaker 13: this is from the fringe, zero tolerance, it won't be normalized.
- 29:00Speaker 13: And if you are following me, that leader, you make
- 29:04Speaker 13: it very clear that this is not welcome in this
- 29:07Speaker 13: society in this moment. They need to find a tactic
- 29:09Speaker 13: where we are debating ideas instead of promoting political violence.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Well, you listen to Zelden there, and he's absolutely right.
- 29:18Speaker 1: He said, we shouldn't be trying to make assassinations great
- 29:22Speaker 1: again in this country. This is fringe behavior and it
- 29:25Speaker 1: needs to be treated with zero tolerance. You look it
- 29:28Speaker 1: out radical the left has become. They're now actually getting
- 29:32Speaker 1: together to go and stand up for illegal immigrants that
- 29:35Speaker 1: are members of terrorist organizations. I wish I was joking,
- 29:38Speaker 1: Unfortunately I'm not. And when you hear the President of
- 29:41Speaker 1: the United States of America talking about how important it
- 29:44Speaker 1: is for us to go back to the basics, that
- 29:48Speaker 1: is also something that leads Elden is advocating for. Here
- 29:51Speaker 1: he is talking and saying it with a clear voice
- 29:55Speaker 1: as a individual that has been a victim of political violence,
- 30:00Speaker 1: and he's saying, where are the Democrats now? Why are
- 30:03Speaker 1: they not standing up? Why are they not telling their
- 30:06Speaker 1: followers that this is wrong, and I'm going to answer
- 30:10Speaker 1: the question because they don't believe that they're crossing any line.
- 30:13Speaker 1: These are the same democrats that called Donald Trump Adolf Hitler.
- 30:18Speaker 1: These are the same democrats that advocate for Jewish students
- 30:22Speaker 1: to be attacked on college campuses. These are the same
- 30:25Speaker 1: democrats that backed the cities that were under the summer
- 30:29Speaker 1: of rage with Black Lives Matter. These are the same
- 30:32Speaker 1: democrats that when you were burning down police stations and
- 30:35Speaker 1: killing innocent people, they were advocating for those that were
- 30:39Speaker 1: arrested to bail them out, and we're telling you please
- 30:43Speaker 1: give more. That is the Democratic Party today and what
- 30:48Speaker 1: leaves Elden is saying there, and it's unfortunate, but the
- 30:51Speaker 1: media has mainstreamed this.
- 30:53Speaker 2: The political violence is normal.
- 30:56Speaker 1: The political violence is something that we should all be
- 30:59Speaker 1: just standing here and say, yeah, we have no problem with,
- 31:02Speaker 1: you know, get not getting your way and then deciding
- 31:05Speaker 1: that we're going to do these types of political violence
- 31:08Speaker 1: and anarchy.
- 31:10Speaker 2: It's wrong and it's.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Going to cost people their lives because Democrats refuse to
- 31:15Speaker 1: stop and act like statesmen, and instead what they're doing
- 31:19Speaker 1: is they're advocating for the craziest among us to act out.
