Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Shocker: USC Bans Jewish Professor from Campus, plus Woke Triumvirate of CBP, NSA & Disney
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:02Speaker 2: It is Verdictris Sentator Ted Cruz ben Ferguson with you.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hope you had a great week with your family and
- 0:08Speaker 2: friends over Thanksgiving. And as we said before, we'll say
- 0:12Speaker 2: it again to all those men and women serving our country,
- 0:15Speaker 2: all those first responders and doctors and people that we're badges,
- 0:19Speaker 2: thank you for keeping us safe over the holidays. We
- 0:22Speaker 2: know your sacrifice and it has not gone unnoticed. Here, Senator,
- 0:26Speaker 2: We've got a lot to talk about, including a Jewish
- 0:30Speaker 2: USC professor who was barred from campus, targeted by anti
- 0:35Speaker 2: Israel activists with a doctored video.
- 0:37Speaker 1: We're gonna get to that in a moment.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Also going look at a whole other level leaked NSA
- 0:43Speaker 2: document revealing a massive glossary. We're going to deal with that,
- 0:47Speaker 2: plus other problems at Disney they're now facing consequences. And
- 0:52Speaker 2: on top of that, you have a Customs and Border
- 0:55Speaker 2: Patrol memo that ordered agents not to miss gender members
- 1:00Speaker 2: of the public. That's what the Biden administration's focused on
- 1:03Speaker 2: right now. Plus some not so great news for Joe
- 1:06Speaker 2: Biden with the economy. All that coming up in just
- 1:08Speaker 2: a moment. Before we get to that, I want to
- 1:10Speaker 2: go back to that big shocking story of this USC
- 1:13Speaker 2: professor who is Jewish. He has now been barred from campus.
- 1:17Speaker 2: He's been targeted by anti Israel activists with a doctored video.
- 1:22Speaker 2: And this is a story that if you are a listener, verdict,
- 1:26Speaker 2: we need your help to make sure that this goes viral.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Put this on social media, because it's time that we
- 1:33Speaker 2: stand with these professors that are being targeted and center.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I'll let you take it and fill people in from there.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Well, over the last two months, since October seventh, we
- 1:41Speaker 3: have seen anti Semitism spiking across the country, particularly on
- 1:44Speaker 3: college campuses, and it's a manifestation of the warped and
- 1:48Speaker 3: twisted leftist ideology that unfortunately has has grown and festered
- 1:54Speaker 3: on college campuses now for decades. We have seen students
- 1:58Speaker 3: being harassed across the count We have seen tragically at MIT,
- 2:03Speaker 3: Jewish students being prevented from going to class and the
- 2:06Speaker 3: administration doing nothing about it, refusing to punish the anti
- 2:11Speaker 3: Semitic protesters who are rassing the Jewish students. And the
- 2:15Speaker 3: reason MIT gave as well, those students are on student visas,
- 2:19Speaker 3: they're foreigners, and so if we expelled them they would
- 2:22Speaker 3: have their student visa revoke. So it really is an
- 2:24Speaker 3: astonishing willingness to bend over to woke ideology. But I
- 2:28Speaker 3: got to say, USC really takes the cake with this,
- 2:31Speaker 3: because we had seen students unable to go to campus.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Now at USC, we're seeing a professor unable to go
- 2:40Speaker 3: to campus. Professor John Strauss is an economics professor, and
- 2:44Speaker 3: he was walking by a protest, a pro Palestinian protest
- 2:49Speaker 3: organized by the USC Student Coalition Against Labor Exploitation, USC
- 2:55Speaker 3: Graduates for Palestine and the Trojans for Palestine, and Professor
- 2:59Speaker 3: Strauss is he walked past, commented, he said, ignorant, really ignorant,
- 3:04Speaker 3: and then one of the students engaged him, and the
- 3:07Speaker 3: professor added, quote, Hamas are murderers, that's all they are.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Everyone should be killed. I hope they all are. Now
- 3:17Speaker 3: what happened after that is people edited his quote and
- 3:21Speaker 3: they took out the reference to Hamas. They just took
- 3:24Speaker 3: the snippet everyone should be killed, I hope they all are.
- 3:28Speaker 3: And that snippet went viral. It got millions of views
- 3:32Speaker 3: on Twitter and it was characterized as the professor saying
- 3:36Speaker 3: that all Palestinians should be killed, which is of course
- 3:39Speaker 3: not what he said. He said Hamas are murderers, that's
- 3:42Speaker 3: who he said should be killed. Well, the consequence of that, unsurprisingly,
- 3:48Speaker 3: he's been subjected to threats of violence because of the
- 3:52Speaker 3: deliberate mischaracterization of what he said. But the university responded
- 4:00Speaker 3: not by saying we're going to protect you, Professor Strauss,
- 4:04Speaker 3: but instead by sending a letter to him directing him
- 4:09Speaker 3: that he must conduct all of his classes for the
- 4:12Speaker 3: remainder of.
- 4:13Speaker 1: The year.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Via zoom via distance learning, that he's not allowed to
- 4:19Speaker 3: physically be on campus. And the reason USC said was
- 4:23Speaker 3: quote to minimize disruption to the educational environment, to ensure
- 4:27Speaker 3: a safe environment for both you and students. It truly
- 4:33Speaker 3: is stunning that the administration at USC is so embraced
- 4:39Speaker 3: in the woke ideology, the ideology of colonialism, the ideology
- 4:44Speaker 3: that says Jews are the oppressors and Palestinians are the victims.
- 4:49Speaker 3: This is the Marxist lens that I talk about at
- 4:51Speaker 3: great length in my new book Unwoke. USC is so
- 4:55Speaker 3: embraced by that ideology that they're now telling their professor
- 5:00Speaker 3: not allowed on campus because you said, what is indisputably true,
- 5:04Speaker 3: is that Hamas are murderers and the Hamas terrorists should
- 5:08Speaker 3: be killed.
- 5:09Speaker 2: And to be clear, this is punishing this professor not
- 5:14Speaker 2: being able to go on to campus. That is also
- 5:17Speaker 2: not just a slap on the wrist to him and
- 5:20Speaker 2: clearly attacking him and what he is as a human
- 5:23Speaker 2: being being Jewish. But this is also sending a message
- 5:27Speaker 2: I would think to any other student that is Jewish
- 5:31Speaker 2: or that supports Israel, you better be careful what you
- 5:35Speaker 2: say on campus, because this is what we'll do with
- 5:37Speaker 2: a professor. Imagine what we would do to a student.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Well, and I'm hearing reports literally on a daily basis
- 5:45Speaker 3: from friends of mine who have kids in college who
- 5:49Speaker 3: are Jewish, and they're reporting that they fear for their safety.
- 5:53Speaker 3: They don't feel safe. And this is at Premier University's
- 5:57Speaker 3: Ivy League university, supposedly elite universities that virtually all of
- 6:03Speaker 3: them have embraced this leftist ideology and under their worldview,
- 6:09Speaker 3: they view Jews as evil Zionists. And so the universities,
- 6:14Speaker 3: too many of them, are unwilling to protect their students.
- 6:17Speaker 3: It is disgraceful, it is wrong, and I'll tell you
- 6:20Speaker 3: It's a moment of clarity for a lot of people
- 6:22Speaker 3: to see what is happening.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Because of the Left.
- 6:24Speaker 2: The world is in flames and Bidenomics is a complete
- 6:27Speaker 2: and total disaster.
- 6:28Speaker 1: But it can't and won't ruin my day.

- 8:10Speaker 2: moment ago when talking about what's happening on college campuses,
- 8:14Speaker 2: and this professor is a perfect example of that.
- 8:17Speaker 1: And I said it earlier. I'll say it again.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Make sure this story goes viral because people need to
- 8:21Speaker 2: understand that what's happened as professor is wrong. But if
- 8:25Speaker 2: you are a Jewish student at a lot of the
- 8:27Speaker 2: elite universities around the country, this is the treatment that
- 8:31Speaker 2: a lot of them are receiving, and they are not
- 8:34Speaker 2: being protected by these universities. How concerned are you? Because
- 8:37Speaker 2: this is not just a pattern or a trend. This
- 8:41Speaker 2: is almost an indoctrination by these public universities and private
- 8:45Speaker 2: universities at the highest level that we are not going
- 8:48Speaker 2: to allow you to be pro Israel on our campus.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Period.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Senator, I want to move on to the other topic
- 8:54Speaker 2: that we mentioned earlier, and that is wokeness has really
- 8:58Speaker 2: infiltrated our politics, especially when it comes to the Biden administration.
- 9:03Speaker 2: The national security has now gone woke. Disney is now
- 9:06Speaker 2: facing some consequences. Plus you've got this customs at Border
- 9:10Speaker 2: Patrol memo that orders agents not to miss gender members
- 9:15Speaker 2: of the public.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Let's start with that.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Well, this really is a triumvirate of wokeness, and it's
- 9:21Speaker 3: striking to see CBP and NSA and Disney all getting
- 9:25Speaker 3: hit with the consequences of their ideology. And you mentioned
- 9:29Speaker 3: a moment ago that it's cyber Monday. I'll point out
- 9:32Speaker 3: my brand new book, Unwoke, which just came out a
- 9:34Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago, has spent two weeks on the
- 9:36Speaker 3: New York Times bestseller list. Let me encourage you on
- 9:39Speaker 3: cyber Monday, go online, Go to Amazon, go to Barnes
- 9:42Speaker 3: and Noble, buy it online, buy it online, buy a
- 9:45Speaker 3: couple of copies and give them as a gift. You
- 9:47Speaker 3: got Christmas time coming up, give it as a gift.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Because every one of these topics we're discussing is discussed
- 9:53Speaker 3: at length in the book Unwoke, How to Defeat Cultural
- 9:56Speaker 3: Marxism in America. Let's start with. CBP had an internal
- 10:01Speaker 3: memo that was obtained by the Heritage Foundation that prohibits
- 10:04Speaker 3: agents from using he, him, she, or her pronouns when
- 10:10Speaker 3: initially interacting with members of the public. The memo goes
- 10:13Speaker 3: on to encourage agents to use quote a universal greeting
- 10:17Speaker 3: such as good morning or good evening in the initial greeting. Now,
- 10:21Speaker 3: Ben Pete's sake, our country is being invaded. Eight point
- 10:26Speaker 3: six million illegal immigrants have crossed into this country under
- 10:29Speaker 3: Joe Biden. There are dead bodies every single day. There
- 10:33Speaker 3: are children being sexually assaulted, women being sexually assaulted. That
- 10:37Speaker 3: one hundred thousand Americans died of drug overdoses last year.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Fentanyl is flooding into the country. And here's what the
- 10:44Speaker 3: Biden administration is telling CBP to be concerned about.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Quote.
- 10:48Speaker 3: If an incorrect pronoun is used and corrected by the individual,
- 10:53Speaker 3: acknowledge the oversight and use the correct pronoun. The memo
- 10:57Speaker 3: also lists quote key terms with deafisions next to each. Bisexual, gay,
- 11:02Speaker 3: gender expression, gender identity, gender non conforming, intersex, lesbian, non binary, queer, questioning,
- 11:09Speaker 3: sex assigned birth, sexual orientation, transgender, transgender woman, transgender man,
- 11:13Speaker 3: and transitioning are all listed. What in the hell are
- 11:17Speaker 3: these people doing? Ben, This is the border patrol is
- 11:21Speaker 3: supposed to be securing the border. Explained to me why
- 11:24Speaker 3: exactly they should be having a conversation with a human
- 11:28Speaker 3: traffick or a drug trafficker or an illegal alien. Excuse me, sir,
- 11:32Speaker 3: are you non binary? Like, what the hell does that
- 11:35Speaker 3: have to do with actually securing the border and doing
- 11:39Speaker 3: their job? And the answer is nothing, because they put
- 11:42Speaker 3: politics ahead of they don't want to secure the border.
- 11:46Speaker 1: So here's my question.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Is this at the feed of Maorchis is this the
- 11:50Speaker 2: feed of literally the Oval office in the President's desk
- 11:54Speaker 2: or is this some initiative coming from the Vice President's
- 11:58Speaker 2: office and she's supposed to be that the borders are
- 12:01Speaker 2: person I mean, how high does this go up for
- 12:04Speaker 2: them to go this woke on this type of a memo?
- 12:08Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, Look this started off with an executive
- 12:12Speaker 3: order from the White House directing every agency to elevate diversity, equity,
- 12:17Speaker 3: and inclusion above everything else, to ignore the law, to
- 12:20Speaker 3: ignore their job. It doesn't formally say that, It just
- 12:23Speaker 3: says this is the guiding priority of our agency. And
- 12:27Speaker 3: with respect to CBP, the political leadership may Orcus, We've
- 12:32Speaker 3: talked about this at length. Mayorcus does not intend to
- 12:36Speaker 3: does not want to enforce the law. He is not
- 12:40Speaker 3: trying to secure the border. He is trying to increase
- 12:44Speaker 3: the number of illegal aliens coming into this country. He's
- 12:47Speaker 3: trying to speed up the process. So I guess he
- 12:50Speaker 3: wants them to say, you know, good morning and then
- 12:53Speaker 3: have a conversation about their gender identity while shipping them
- 12:57Speaker 3: to every city in America. It truly is. It's a stunning,
- 13:04Speaker 3: screwed up priority that that is right at the heart
- 13:07Speaker 3: of where this administration is.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It also, though, I think, sends the message to Customs
- 13:13Speaker 2: and Border Patrol agents, we're not on your side, and
- 13:17Speaker 2: if you don't do what we tell you to do
- 13:19Speaker 2: and you actually do your job the right way, there
- 13:23Speaker 2: may be consequences for you doing your job. And if
- 13:26Speaker 2: you don't push our agenda items the way we're telling
- 13:30Speaker 2: you to do it will come after you, because that's
- 13:34Speaker 2: what I would get out of this. This is a shout
- 13:35Speaker 2: across the bow of every man and woman that's putting
- 13:38Speaker 2: their life on the line at the southern border to
- 13:41Speaker 2: basically say, you don't do your job the way you
- 13:43Speaker 2: think you do it, you do it the way we
- 13:45Speaker 2: tell you to.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Well, this Biden administration is an administration that is fundamentally unserious.
- 13:50Speaker 3: They're not serious about the goal of securing the border
- 13:53Speaker 3: because they don't want to secure the border. They want
- 13:56Speaker 3: it to be maximizing the number of illegal aliens. Unserious
- 14:00Speaker 3: about national security, and as a result, Biden inherited peace
- 14:04Speaker 3: and prosperity, and we've now got two wars waging across
- 14:07Speaker 3: the world right now as a result of their weakness.
- 14:10Speaker 3: And when you have federal agencies with serious, grave responsibilities
- 14:16Speaker 3: and you put political apparatics in charge who are not serious,
- 14:21Speaker 3: who are not up to the task, you end up
- 14:24Speaker 3: with number one not doing the job. They're therefore but
- 14:27Speaker 3: number two getting distracted by political priorities that have nothing
- 14:31Speaker 3: to do with the core mission. Another example you mentioned
- 14:34Speaker 3: the NSA, the National Security Administration. They prepared a thirty
- 14:40Speaker 3: four page colossary that they issued that that directs employees
- 14:49Speaker 3: to focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. And it includes
- 14:54Speaker 3: terms ranging from anti racists to z and zurr and
- 14:58Speaker 3: and it prove divides. It was published May sixth, twenty
- 15:03Speaker 3: twenty two, and it identifies itself as quote, a glossary
- 15:09Speaker 3: of terms and language commonly used in dialogue reversing regarding diversity,
- 15:13Speaker 3: equity and inclusion and social justice. And it cites critical
- 15:17Speaker 3: race theory advocates such as Robin DiAngelo and Ibram x kend.
- 15:23Speaker 3: It cites DiAngelo, and it defines white fragility. All right,
- 15:27Speaker 3: this is the NSA mind you defining white fragility as quote,
- 15:31Speaker 3: the state in which even a minimum amount of racial
- 15:33Speaker 3: stress becomes intolerable, triggering a range of defensive moves in
- 15:37Speaker 3: white people. It adds these behaviors function to reinstate white
- 15:42Speaker 3: racial equilibrium. There's also a definition of whiteness. Now you
- 15:47Speaker 3: might think whiteness means someone being white. No, no, no, no,
- 15:50Speaker 3: that would be too simplistic. According to the NSA, whiteness
- 15:54Speaker 3: is quote a broad social construction that embraces the white culture, history, ideology,
- 15:59Speaker 3: race expressions, experiences, epistemology, emotions, and behavior, all in order
- 16:06Speaker 3: to reap quote material, political, economic, and structural benefits for
- 16:10Speaker 3: those socially deemed white. This stuff is nonsense. It is garbage,
- 16:16Speaker 3: It is poison. And you know what it isn't national security,
- 16:19Speaker 3: which is what the NSA is supposed to be focusing on.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're not focusing on that. And that is
- 16:24Speaker 2: something that has obviously come up with many people that
- 16:26Speaker 2: are concerned about national security and our southern border. You
- 16:30Speaker 2: and I have talked about this countless times, but there
- 16:32Speaker 2: are more concerns now than we've had probably since nine
- 16:35Speaker 2: to eleven. And yet when you hear that this isn't
- 16:38Speaker 2: just like a one page memo, this is a full
- 16:41Speaker 2: blown document, page.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Thirty four page page, thirty four pages.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, do we have a thirty four page
- 16:47Speaker 2: memo on the on the on the number of people
- 16:50Speaker 2: that have come across the border to your knowledge center
- 16:53Speaker 2: that are on the terrorist watch list? Is there a
- 16:55Speaker 2: thirty four page memo on that?
- 16:58Speaker 3: Not that I know of? And let me ask, you know,
- 16:59Speaker 3: the jackasses that wrote this, the jackasses that are in
- 17:02Speaker 3: charge of enforcing these policies, how come nobody at the
- 17:05Speaker 3: NSA got signals intelligence on Hamas planning the biggest mass
- 17:10Speaker 3: murder of Jews since the Holocaust on October seventh, Maybe
- 17:13Speaker 3: because instead they were focused not only on critical race theory,
- 17:18Speaker 3: but also queer theory. And it defines queer theory if
- 17:21Speaker 3: you think this is Ben and me just making things up.
- 17:24Speaker 3: According to the NSA, queer theory is an approach quote
- 17:28Speaker 3: that critically deconstructs and challenges binaries such as male and
- 17:32Speaker 3: female or heterosexual and homosexual, and the DEI glossary then
- 17:38Speaker 3: goes on to list a whole bunch of words associated
- 17:42Speaker 3: with queer theory, like transmisogyny. What the hell is trans misogyny? Well,
- 17:48Speaker 3: hold on, hold a second, I've got I've got a
- 17:51Speaker 3: glossary here. So trans misogyny is the intersection of transphobia
- 17:57Speaker 3: and misogyny, ze and zero. Meanwhile, we're told they are
- 18:02Speaker 3: gender neutral pronouns that can be used instead of he,
- 18:05Speaker 3: she and his her, while two spirit is defined as quote,
- 18:09Speaker 3: a Native American term for an individual who identifies as
- 18:12Speaker 3: both male and female. Other terms defined in the glossary
- 18:16Speaker 3: include gender queer, afab amab, which means assigned female at birth,
- 18:23Speaker 3: assigned male at birth LATINX, which there is not a
- 18:26Speaker 3: single Latino or a Latino on the face of the
- 18:28Speaker 3: earth that uses that ridiculous term. Those are all woke,
- 18:32Speaker 3: rich white kids who want to show how woke they
- 18:35Speaker 3: are by insulting the Latino community. There's also quote same
- 18:42Speaker 3: gender loving, which is a term that serves quote as
- 18:45Speaker 3: a description for homosexuals who think that terms such as
- 18:48Speaker 3: gay and lesbian carry negative connotations. There's also demigender. All right,
- 18:53Speaker 3: let me stop you ben quiz what does demigender mean?
- 18:57Speaker 3: I'm a glossary.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I have no idea.
- 19:00Speaker 2: That's the part that I'm sitting here as you're going
- 19:01Speaker 2: through is I'm laughing because I'm like, how many sane
- 19:04Speaker 2: people would know any of these?
- 19:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I want you to stop if you're listening to
- 19:08Speaker 3: the podcast and literally ask yourself, if you were in
- 19:12Speaker 3: taking a test, could you define the word demi gender?
- 19:15Speaker 3: I couldn't. I don't know dem moore, she's like a
- 19:17Speaker 3: really hot woman. Is that demi gender? No? No, no, no,
- 19:21Speaker 3: demi gender? And it has variations. It has demi boy
- 19:24Speaker 3: and demi girl, although who knows what's a boy and
- 19:26Speaker 3: who knows what's a girl? And what it says is
- 19:29Speaker 3: it's defined as quote having a partial connection to one
- 19:34Speaker 3: or more genders. Ah, the joys of making this up.
- 19:39Speaker 3: But by the way, not only does this do ridiculous
- 19:43Speaker 3: critical race theory and queer theory by its own terms,
- 19:47Speaker 3: it also blasts the founding of the United States of America.
- 19:52Speaker 3: And it has a definition of quote settler colonialism. We
- 19:55Speaker 3: were talking in the first story about usc going after
- 19:59Speaker 3: and punish their own Jewish professor because they view Jews
- 20:04Speaker 3: and they view Americans as settler colonialists. Well, here's the
- 20:07Speaker 3: NSA's definition. Quote settler colonialism typically includes oppressive governance and
- 20:14Speaker 3: enforcement of codes of superiority. And then it says examples
- 20:19Speaker 3: include white European occupation of land in what is now
- 20:24Speaker 3: the United States. So I want you to understand this
- 20:27Speaker 3: is the friggin National Security Administration. By the way, has
- 20:30Speaker 3: anyone there wondered what the word national refers to, like,
- 20:33Speaker 3: what nation are they working for? Because apparently they think
- 20:38Speaker 3: the founding of land that is now the United States
- 20:41Speaker 3: is an example of oppressive governance and settler colonialism. And
- 20:46Speaker 3: by the way, the solution, according to the NSA, it
- 20:52Speaker 3: says white Europeans are guilty of colonialism, and it defines
- 20:56Speaker 3: decolonize as a process quote that requires a recognition of
- 21:02Speaker 3: systems of oppression in order to unlearn values, beliefs, and
- 21:06Speaker 3: conceptions that have caused physical, emotional, or mental harm to
- 21:11Speaker 3: people through colonialization. At the same time, it defines white
- 21:15Speaker 3: privilege as quote an unquestioned and unlearned set of advantages, entitlements, benefits,
- 21:21Speaker 3: and choices bestowed on people solely because they are white.
- 21:28Speaker 3: This is garbage and it's not our national security. As
- 21:33Speaker 3: you noted, the CVP is not allowed to secure the
- 21:36Speaker 3: border because they're having to figure out the sexual orientation
- 21:39Speaker 3: of human traffickers and drug traffickers instead of stopping them
- 21:43Speaker 3: and arresting them. And now the NSA is not looking
- 21:45Speaker 3: for terrorists because they're busy worrying about settler colonialism and
- 21:50Speaker 3: queer theory. This is an administration that is fundamentally unseerious
- 21:55Speaker 3: and consumed with woke leftist politics.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and if you want to you know, it's bad
- 22:00Speaker 2: enough we see it in the private sector, but when
- 22:02Speaker 2: you see our government doing it and then not doing
- 22:04Speaker 2: their job, especially when it comes to national security issues,
- 22:07Speaker 2: it's truly terrifying because the consequences are death and destruction
- 22:10Speaker 2: when you get it wrong.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Look, that is exactly right. And I want to give credit.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I want to give credit to the Daily Wire because
- 22:18Speaker 3: the Daily Wire broke this story. It's an article by
- 22:21Speaker 3: Spencer Linquest that published published this glossary. It would not
- 22:25Speaker 3: be public if it were not for the Daily Wire.
- 22:28Speaker 3: And this You literally read it, and I would say
- 22:31Speaker 3: it reads like a Saturday Night Live satire. Yeah, but
- 22:36Speaker 3: Saturday Night Live would never make fun of this because
- 22:38Speaker 3: they're too afraid, they're too woke. By the way, one
- 22:40Speaker 3: of the other things it defines is quote eurocentric, which
- 22:44Speaker 3: states quote most use this term with a clear awareness
- 22:48Speaker 3: of the historic oppressiveness of Eurocentric tendencies in US and
- 22:52Speaker 3: European societies. The phrase critical race theory references quote the
- 22:58Speaker 3: intersectional intersectionality of race and racism, and its supposed aim
- 23:05Speaker 3: is to quote pose a challenge to dominant ideology. There
- 23:11Speaker 3: is nothing about this that is national security. And by
- 23:15Speaker 3: the way, if you want to know what the NSA
- 23:18Speaker 3: is supposed to do, from the NSA's own website, let
- 23:22Speaker 3: me read you their mission. The National Security Agency slash
- 23:25Speaker 3: Central Security Service leads the US government in cryptology that
- 23:29Speaker 3: encompasses both signals, intelligence insights, and cybersecurity products and services,
- 23:34Speaker 3: and enables a computer network operations to gain a decisive
- 23:37Speaker 3: advantage for the nation and our allies. That is its mission.
- 23:42Speaker 3: In other words, it is spying electronically on our enemies,
- 23:46Speaker 3: on terrorists, on people seeking to murder Americans. And what
- 23:49Speaker 3: are they doing instead? They are being driven by the
- 23:52Speaker 3: Biden Whitehouse's obsession with leftist, woke politics.
- 23:58Speaker 2: It's cyber Monday and your probably looking for great deals. Well,
- 24:02Speaker 2: how would you like to save money and get a
- 24:04Speaker 2: great deal on your cell phone service all year long,
- 24:09Speaker 2: not just on cyber Monday. How would you like to
- 24:11Speaker 2: do it with a company that actually takes your money
- 24:14Speaker 2: every month when you pay your bill and gives it
- 24:16Speaker 2: back to conservative organizations and causes that you help choose
- 24:21Speaker 2: the support. I'm talking about Patriot Mobile, And for ten
- 24:25Speaker 2: years now, this is what Patriot Mobile has been doing.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Why did Patriot Mobile start? They started because they found
- 24:32Speaker 2: out where Big Mobile was sending money. They were sending
- 24:35Speaker 2: it to Planned Parenthood. They were sending it to Democratic
- 24:37Speaker 2: candidates and hardcore leftist organizations. So, if you're tired of
- 24:42Speaker 2: giving your mind to woke companies, then you need to
- 24:45Speaker 2: make the switch to Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile right now.
- 24:50Speaker 2: They give you dependable nationwide coverage on all three major networks,
- 24:55Speaker 2: which means you get the same coverage that you're accustomed
- 24:57Speaker 2: to without funding the left. And when you switch to
- 25:00Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile, you're sending a clear message that you are
- 25:03Speaker 2: standing for freedom of speech, religious freedom, the sanctity of life.
- 25:07Speaker 2: They have one hundred percent US based customer service team
- 25:10Speaker 2: that makes switching easy. You can keep your same cell
- 25:13Speaker 2: phone number you have right now, keep your same cell phone,
- 25:16Speaker 2: or upgrade to a new one. Plus, they've got the
- 25:19Speaker 2: best deals of the year right now when you use
- 25:22Speaker 2: the promo code Verdict. Yeah, all you got to do
- 25:27Speaker 2: is call them nine to seven to two Patriot. That's
- 25:31Speaker 2: nine seven to two Patriot. Use the promo code Verdict,
- 25:36Speaker 2: and not only are you going to get the best
- 25:38Speaker 2: deals of the year, but you're also going to get
- 25:40Speaker 2: free activation on top of that. And every time use
- 25:43Speaker 2: your phone, you know you're standing with the values you
- 25:46Speaker 2: believe in and making a difference. Check out a great
- 25:50Speaker 2: American company, Patriot Mobile on this Cyber Monday, nine seven
- 25:54Speaker 2: to two Patriot or Patriot Mobile dot com slash vertict Center.
- 25:59Speaker 2: You're we're talking obviously about what's happening with these two
- 26:03Speaker 2: different organizations within our government, but there's also something that
- 26:07Speaker 2: happened at Disney.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Well, that's right, and this is the third of our
- 26:11Speaker 3: woke triumvirate in terms of facing the consequences for their ideology,
- 26:15Speaker 3: which is that Disney recently filed its its annual SEC report,
- 26:19Speaker 3: a report that every public company is required to file,
- 26:23Speaker 3: and here's what they were forced to publicly disclose.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Quote.
- 26:27Speaker 3: We face risks relating to misalignment with public and consumer
- 26:32Speaker 3: tastes and preferences for entertainment, travel, and consumer products. And
- 26:38Speaker 3: it goes on to note, quote the success of our
- 26:41Speaker 3: businesses depends on our ability to consistently create compelling content.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Quote.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Generally, our revenues and profitability are adversely impacted when our
- 26:55Speaker 3: entertainment offerings and products, as well as our methods to
- 26:58Speaker 3: make our offerings and products available consumers, do not achieve
- 27:02Speaker 3: sufficient consumer acceptance. Further, consumers' perceptions of our positions on
- 27:08Speaker 3: matters of public interest, including our efforts to achieve certain
- 27:12Speaker 3: of our environmental and social goals, often differ widely and
- 27:16Speaker 3: present risks to our reputation and brands. Now, that is
- 27:23Speaker 3: one of the most stunning corporate disclosures I've ever read,
- 27:28Speaker 3: because what that means is number one, Disney has lost
- 27:32Speaker 3: billions of dollars the phrase go broke. Disney has sadly
- 27:36Speaker 3: embodied that phrase. I am sure Walt Disney is spinning
- 27:40Speaker 3: in his grave and horrors at what has happened to
- 27:43Speaker 3: his namesake. But the fact that they put this in
- 27:47Speaker 3: their sec disclosures means number one, the money they're losing
- 27:51Speaker 3: is so significant. Number two, their projections for future money
- 27:57Speaker 3: that they're going to lose are so significant that they're
- 28:00Speaker 3: lawyers said, damn it, you have to acknowledge this in
- 28:04Speaker 3: the disclosure or else you will be sued for misleading investors.
- 28:09Speaker 3: In other words, we must write these words so that
- 28:12Speaker 3: when investors sue us and say, your executives are putting
- 28:18Speaker 3: your woke politics ahead of profitability, ahead of producing entertainment
- 28:23Speaker 3: that consumers want, ahead of actually producing family friendly entertainment
- 28:27Speaker 3: that kids are interested in, and parents want their kids
- 28:30Speaker 3: to see that your politics matters more to you than
- 28:34Speaker 3: making the business successful. They want to be able to
- 28:38Speaker 3: point to this disclosure and say no, no, sorry, you invested,
- 28:41Speaker 3: and we told you upfront, we don't care about making
- 28:44Speaker 3: a buck. Our politics is all we care about. And
- 28:47Speaker 3: even if it if it flushes the corporate profits down,
- 28:51Speaker 3: debt down the commode.
- 28:53Speaker 2: You know, we've had this debate at my house three boys,
- 28:56Speaker 2: and we've talked about Disney, and I said to my wife,
- 28:59Speaker 2: we had a a grand debate over it. I'm not
- 29:03Speaker 2: giving my money to Disney. I'm not going to Disney.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I'm not going to take them to Disney because I
- 29:09Speaker 2: believe them when they tell me what their agenda is,
- 29:13Speaker 2: and now it's in their financial disclosures.
- 29:15Speaker 1: This is their agenda.
- 29:17Speaker 2: And I say this over and over again when having
- 29:20Speaker 2: this debate over things like Disney and Wokee companies. Believe
- 29:24Speaker 2: them when they put it in writing, Believe them they
- 29:27Speaker 2: when they publish it, Believe them when they produce it,
- 29:30Speaker 2: Believe them when they promote it. This is Disney saying
- 29:35Speaker 2: all along, Yes, this is exactly what we're trying to
- 29:38Speaker 2: do with your kids' minds. Yes, we are trying to
- 29:41Speaker 2: use what used to be just innocent entertainment that you
- 29:45Speaker 2: could trust your kid in front of Disney Channel or
- 29:48Speaker 2: Disney Movies. You no longer should have that trust with them,
- 29:51Speaker 2: and they put it in writing.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Well, that's right. But look, there's reason to draw optimism
- 29:57Speaker 3: from this third example, which is is that that for
- 30:01Speaker 3: many woke corporations, I think they they are feeling the
- 30:05Speaker 3: heat and they're trying to change direction. You look at CEO,
- 30:09Speaker 3: the CEO of Disney, Bob Iger. They brought him back
- 30:12Speaker 3: because Disney was in such a world of hurt. They
- 30:15Speaker 3: had screwed it up so badly that Bob Ayer came
- 30:19Speaker 3: back and he is seeking in his own words to
- 30:21Speaker 3: quote quiet things down after putting politics front and center. Now,
- 30:26Speaker 3: Iigre presumably signed off on this corporate disclosure, and that
- 30:29Speaker 3: may be a consequence of trying to pivot Disney back. Now.
- 30:34Speaker 3: They're not doing a great job of it because the
- 30:36Speaker 3: problem is that they have built a culture where their
- 30:39Speaker 3: executives are invested in in this woke ideology. And this
- 30:44Speaker 3: is something I discussed at great length in the book
- 30:47Speaker 3: on Woke. I talk about Disney at great length. I
- 30:49Speaker 3: talk about bud Light, I talk about Target, but I
- 30:51Speaker 3: talk about how all three of them, Disney, bud Light,
- 30:55Speaker 3: and Target lost billions and billions of dollars and number one.
- 31:00Speaker 3: It's had an impact on all three but number two,
- 31:02Speaker 3: and this is where you should be encouraged. It is,
- 31:05Speaker 3: I hope and believe, a powerful deterrent for other CEO
- 31:10Speaker 3: and other corporations that are sitting there saying I don't
- 31:13Speaker 3: want to be bud Light, I don't want to be Target,
- 31:16Speaker 3: I don't want to be Disney. And now Disney, according
- 31:18Speaker 3: to its own corporate disclosure, Disney is saying I don't
- 31:21Speaker 3: want to be Disney. That may be promising and optimistic
- 31:24Speaker 3: for the future.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I hope that people continue to vote with their dollars.
- 31:28Speaker 2: We're talking about cyber Monday, and there's so many people
- 31:31Speaker 2: that right now are looking at where they're spending their money,
- 31:33Speaker 2: probably more than we've had in quite some time, and
- 31:36Speaker 2: that's a good thing. People are looking for companies they
- 31:38Speaker 2: want to work with that are unwoke, that aren't going
- 31:41Speaker 2: to these radical extremes that we've witnessed and talked about.
- 31:44Speaker 2: And the best thing we can do is when they
- 31:47Speaker 2: do this, shine a light on it. Let me tell
- 31:50Speaker 2: you about our friends over at Augusta Precious Metals. If
- 31:52Speaker 2: you're like me, at the end of the year, you
- 31:53Speaker 2: start looking back over the year and you start trying
- 31:56Speaker 2: to decide what it is you're going to do maybe
- 31:57Speaker 2: better next year. We get then into the new year's resolutions. Well,
- 32:02Speaker 2: maybe your resolution is to protect your hard earned dollars. Well,
- 32:06Speaker 2: if you're like me and you've wanted to buy gold
- 32:08Speaker 2: four years, there's a lot of commercials out there and
- 32:11Speaker 2: a lot of different companies that you can choose. Let
- 32:13Speaker 2: me tell you the one that I trust. I trust
- 32:16Speaker 2: Augusta Precious Metals. I actually use them. Yes, I buy
- 32:20Speaker 2: gold from them, and the reason why is so that
- 32:22Speaker 2: I can protect my hard earned dollars. Now, if you
- 32:24Speaker 2: have an IRA or a four oh one K and
- 32:27Speaker 2: you want to buy physical gold, you can eliminate fear
- 32:30Speaker 2: and uncertainty from the process using the new Gold ir
- 32:35Speaker 2: A company integrity checklists. It helps you evaluate and choose
- 32:39Speaker 2: the best gold IRA company. I use it personally to
- 32:42Speaker 2: vet a Gusta Precious Medals and I buy gold from
- 32:45Speaker 2: them myself afterwards. Now you can use this checklist to
- 32:48Speaker 2: choose the best gold IRA company to get your free gold.
- 32:53Speaker 2: I are a company integrity checklist. Today you can text
- 32:57Speaker 2: the word ben to six ' eight five's text the
- 33:01Speaker 2: word bend to six eight five nine to two. Again,
- 33:04Speaker 2: text the word bend to six ' eight five nine
- 33:07Speaker 2: to two, or go online to Augusta Precious Metals dot com.
- 33:11Speaker 2: That's Augusta Precious Metals dot com. Or you can call
- 33:15Speaker 2: them eight seven seven the number four gold I R A.
- 33:19Speaker 2: That's eight seven seven the number four GOLDI R A
- 33:24Speaker 2: or Augusta Precious Metals dot com. Finally, Centa, I wanted
- 33:28Speaker 2: to There was a story this week in it and
- 33:30Speaker 2: it kind of made me laugh, and it sums up
- 33:34Speaker 2: I think, are the Bidenomics economy that we're in right now.
- 33:38Speaker 2: There is a sixteen dollar fast food meal. Now that
- 33:43Speaker 2: may not shock some people because you think, all right,
- 33:46Speaker 2: at the higher end, maybe that's something that is palatable,
- 33:51Speaker 2: But it's a sixteen dollars McDonald's meal that may explain
- 33:57Speaker 2: voter anger more than any other poll at Joe Biden, Like,
- 34:00Speaker 2: if this isn't just a full circle of where we
- 34:03Speaker 2: are now that McDonald's has a sixty a meal that
- 34:07Speaker 2: costs sixteen dollars and ten cents to be precise, that
- 34:11Speaker 2: it's gone viral as a man posts the receipt on
- 34:14Speaker 2: social media and I and I laughed when I saw
- 34:17Speaker 2: this because it's like, yeah, welcome to Bidenomics.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Well, it's interesting. The language you used was word for
- 34:24Speaker 3: word the headline from, of all places, the Washington Post.
- 34:28Speaker 3: So the Washington Post headline was, quote the viral sixteen
- 34:32Speaker 3: dollars McDonald's meal that may explain voter anger at Biden.
- 34:38Speaker 3: So this is the Washington Post saying, you want to
- 34:40Speaker 3: know why voters are pissed at Joe Biden, Here's why.
- 34:44Speaker 3: And it goes on to describe that on December twentieth,
- 34:46Speaker 3: twenty twenty two, a fellow by the name of Toefer
- 34:50Speaker 3: Olive went to McDonald's in the town of Post Falls, Idaho,
- 34:55Speaker 3: and he ordered a limited edition smoky double quarter pounder
- 34:59Speaker 3: BLT with fries and a sprite, and the cost of
- 35:04Speaker 3: the meal was sixteen dollars and ten cents. And he
- 35:08Speaker 3: posted that the receipt on TikTok, and the receipt ended
- 35:14Speaker 3: up getting millions of views, initially a couple of hundred thousand,
- 35:19Speaker 3: but then when it was reposted, it ended up getting
- 35:21Speaker 3: over two million views. And it it goes right to
- 35:28Speaker 3: the heart. I mean, look, I've been going to McDonald's
- 35:31Speaker 3: for as long as I can remember, and you used
- 35:34Speaker 3: to be able to get a burger and fries and
- 35:36Speaker 3: a coke for five six bucks. You know when prices
- 35:41Speaker 3: got more expensive, maybe it was seven or eight dollars,
- 35:45Speaker 3: but sixteen dollars. There's a reason voters are pissed. And
- 35:49Speaker 3: this goes right to the heart of it than when
- 35:52Speaker 3: you have Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and Chuck Schumer
- 35:55Speaker 3: and Nancy Pelosi spending trillions and trillions of dollars that
- 35:58Speaker 3: we don't have, barring trillions trillions of dollars and running
- 36:01Speaker 3: the printing presses days and night. We see inflation taking
- 36:05Speaker 3: off and the result is it's sixteen bucks to go
- 36:08Speaker 3: to McDonald's.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Yeah, sixteen dollars. Welcome to Bidenomics. It's going to be
- 36:13Speaker 2: an election your issue, whether he likes it or not.
