- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all all suit all giving them like the
- 0:16Speaker 1: milk things and sub good Steve, listen to show, Steve,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join. You gotta do that turn you turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out, to turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water the water. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back, huh. I show will a good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. Y'all listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:08Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I do. Took of me when I said, but I
- 2:15Speaker 1: do like I say always. It just is a constant
- 2:19Speaker 1: reminder of how good God has been. So my question
- 2:23Speaker 1: to you is what's stopping you from having the life
- 2:27Speaker 1: that you want? What's stopping you from having the life
- 2:32Speaker 1: that you want? I know a lot of people who
- 2:36Speaker 1: have given up on achieving the life of their dreams.
- 2:40Speaker 1: But I know they'd still want them if they could
- 2:44Speaker 1: get to them. But they just allowed to settle for
- 2:47Speaker 1: so many reasons. So who I'm talking to is you today?
- 2:53Speaker 1: What's really at the core of stopping you? What is that?
- 2:57Speaker 1: Is it your friends or yours? Is it the fear
- 3:01Speaker 1: of what you think somebody else will think of you
- 3:05Speaker 1: if you decide to change. Is it what I used
- 3:08Speaker 1: to call the call of the while? Is it the
- 3:10Speaker 1: fact that you keep thinking that the thing that you're
- 3:14Speaker 1: doing that's providing you these momentary moments of pleasure that
- 3:18Speaker 1: really ain't really good or healthy for you. You don't
- 3:22Speaker 1: want to stop doing that because you've got just a
- 3:24Speaker 1: little bit more something else you want to do. I
- 3:26Speaker 1: call that the call at a while. You know, it's
- 3:29Speaker 1: just out there. Them streets is calling you, Them lights
- 3:31Speaker 1: is calling you. You know, them girls is calling you.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Them guys that's on the wrong side, keep calling you.
- 3:38Speaker 1: You can't seem to make a decision by the right guy.
- 3:40Speaker 1: You keep picking the wrong guy all the time. What
- 3:44Speaker 1: is it that's stopping you from having the life that
- 3:46Speaker 1: you really want to have? So whatever the reason you're choosing,
- 3:51Speaker 1: that's the reason that's stopping you from having the life
- 3:54Speaker 1: that you want to have. It's no good because at
- 3:57Speaker 1: the end of the day, here's the real deal. See,
- 4:01Speaker 1: God is available, and God is available for all of us,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and God has a plan for all of us, and
- 4:07Speaker 1: God wants to vary best for all of us. That's
- 4:10Speaker 1: the truth of the matter. So now what we're gonna
- 4:13Speaker 1: do to get started having that life? First of all,
- 4:17Speaker 1: if it's your friends, I want you to understand something
- 4:20Speaker 1: your friends can't save you. A lot of your friends
- 4:23Speaker 1: offer no real help for you. Most of your friends
- 4:26Speaker 1: don't have the answer themselves. I mean, it's just a
- 4:30Speaker 1: wide range of reasons and misery love company. So usually
- 4:34Speaker 1: when your friends are in a bad position, they kind
- 4:37Speaker 1: of like company in that bad position. Your friends ain't
- 4:41Speaker 1: going to church. You're gonna be their friend. They don't
- 4:43Speaker 1: really want you to go to church. You know your
- 4:46Speaker 1: friends don't pray, so why would they offer up prayer
- 4:50Speaker 1: as a solution to you. You know, your friends don't
- 4:54Speaker 1: really really get the fact that if you treat people better,
- 4:58Speaker 1: people would treat you at us. So what's that? So
- 5:02Speaker 1: your friends are a lot of times the reasons, you know,
- 5:06Speaker 1: the peer pressure of what and then the thought in
- 5:08Speaker 1: your mind of what they're gonna think once they find
- 5:11Speaker 1: out I don't do what they do anymore. Who cares
- 5:14Speaker 1: what they think other than you? I mean, really, you
- 5:19Speaker 1: can't let what somebody thinks if you stop you from
- 5:22Speaker 1: having the best life you wanted to have. If I
- 5:25Speaker 1: went by that theory right there. I wouldn't I wouldn't
- 5:28Speaker 1: even be on this mic this morning. I would have
- 5:30Speaker 1: never become a stand up I would had I listened
- 5:33Speaker 1: to the people around me who clearly told me when
- 5:37Speaker 1: I quit my job to pursue this, boy, don't you
- 5:40Speaker 1: quit your job? You got a family, Boy, don't you
- 5:43Speaker 1: do this. You ain't got no bit that ain't ain't
- 5:45Speaker 1: no security in that. Get yourself a job. Go down here,
- 5:49Speaker 1: and what's your brother? Go to work? Over here? Go
- 5:51Speaker 1: to I heard all of that. I didn't let that
- 5:54Speaker 1: stop me from pursuing this. Why would you allow that
- 5:57Speaker 1: to stop you from pursuing your relationship with God so
- 6:01Speaker 1: you can have the best life you could possibly have.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You gang bang because they've convinced you that this is
- 6:07Speaker 1: the family situation and love that you don't have, and
- 6:11Speaker 1: they've convinced you that this is your only way, your
- 6:14Speaker 1: only source of getting over and then you drum up
- 6:18Speaker 1: these ignorant reasons mans for staying with it. But they
- 6:22Speaker 1: sound so good when you're listening to everybody else you're
- 6:26Speaker 1: surrounded by telling you why we gang banging, why we're
- 6:29Speaker 1: holding this blockdown, why we slanging this thing here right here?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Why we're letting it go like this here? You keep
- 6:36Speaker 1: listening to them when all in your heart of hearts
- 6:40Speaker 1: you know this ain't right. You already know, but you
- 6:43Speaker 1: allow that form of the call of the wild, that
- 6:47Speaker 1: wanting to be accepted by a group of people who
- 6:51Speaker 1: trying to get you to accept the way so you
- 6:53Speaker 1: can further their progress. To even prove that you're worthy
- 6:56Speaker 1: to be around them, you got to commit some type
- 6:59Speaker 1: of to even prove that you're worthy to be around them.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Then when you get busted on the crime, what happens
- 7:06Speaker 1: to that where your family had Now they don't come
- 7:09Speaker 1: down there to see you because guess what, they can't
- 7:12Speaker 1: turn any idea to death at a law enforcements center,
- 7:15Speaker 1: So now your homies can't come visit you. And then
- 7:18Speaker 1: you know your family back out here, they ain't taking
- 7:20Speaker 1: care of your family because it's all about them. Then
- 7:23Speaker 1: you learn that what is it to stopping you from
- 7:26Speaker 1: having a life that you always wanted to have? What
- 7:29Speaker 1: is it? Why are you a repeat offender? Why do
- 7:33Speaker 1: you keep checking yourself back into that institution? Why? Man,
- 7:39Speaker 1: why won't you get it together? Why won't you give
- 7:42Speaker 1: God a try? Why won't you disassociate yourself. Why would
- 7:46Speaker 1: you continue to be a part of a revolving door
- 7:49Speaker 1: system and becoming the farm system for these institutions that
- 7:53Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you? But you keep going back
- 7:56Speaker 1: in there, and then every time you go in there,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and then your little homies or your gang banging, little
- 8:00Speaker 1: silly little friends try to make you think that's a
- 8:02Speaker 1: badge of honor. Therein no badge of honor. Man, that's
- 8:06Speaker 1: one molde. What's one most scratch on that record. That's
- 8:09Speaker 1: one mode, that's one more nail in that coffin. That's
- 8:12Speaker 1: one step closer to that third strike where you ain't
- 8:15Speaker 1: gonna ever get out. It's one step closer to that
- 8:18Speaker 1: graveyard you keep on. Why would you not give God
- 8:22Speaker 1: a try? Why would you not go and see what
- 8:25Speaker 1: your life could really be? What is it that's stopping you?
- 8:29Speaker 1: Because see, I got news for you. There's nothing like
- 8:32Speaker 1: waking up free. I don't care who you are. There's
- 8:35Speaker 1: nothing like waking up with the joy in your heart. Now,
- 8:40Speaker 1: if you ain't gonna be free, get the joy in
- 8:42Speaker 1: your heart, the satisfaction of knowing that you accomplishing something
- 8:46Speaker 1: with your life. Help somebody behind them bars get in
- 8:49Speaker 1: the program, show these young cats when they come in
- 8:51Speaker 1: a better way. But don't you dare sit there man
- 8:55Speaker 1: and just ride it out, and man, just go and
- 8:58Speaker 1: get the fullest life that you can have. What you
- 9:02Speaker 1: know what it feels like to wake up and be
- 9:04Speaker 1: on your way somewhere knowing that you have something to accomplish,
- 9:08Speaker 1: that you can change somebody, that you can stop somebody
- 9:11Speaker 1: from going down the roads you went down. It's a
- 9:13Speaker 1: whole lot of ways to make your life better. But
- 9:15Speaker 1: why would you not go and have the best life
- 9:18Speaker 1: you can have? What is it that's stopping you? Really? Really?
- 9:23Speaker 1: So you think that Satan really has your best interests
- 9:26Speaker 1: at heart. That Dela thing your mama kept telling you
- 9:29Speaker 1: about praying, You wasn't listening. It was you. But you know,
- 9:32Speaker 1: it ain't ever too late to get back to that.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late to turn around. It ain't
- 9:37Speaker 1: ever too late to get your life together, It ain't
- 9:40Speaker 1: ever too late to seek God, and it ain't ever
- 9:43Speaker 1: too late to pray. Don't forget to pray, don't be
- 9:47Speaker 1: ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud to pray,
- 9:50Speaker 1: because prayer changes things. Prayer change people too I'm a
- 9:55Speaker 1: witness to that, Ladies and gentlemen. In the words of LTD,
- 10:06Speaker 1: Back in Love, getting mixed in mo shuts then and Junior,
- 10:14Speaker 1: just in case you want to know, that is not Joonas.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Back in love again, LTD, Back in love with life again,
- 10:23Speaker 1: back in love with the Lord again, back in love
- 10:26Speaker 1: with waking up every day. Hey, man, stop saying that
- 10:30Speaker 1: you're not a morning person when the goal is to
- 10:33Speaker 1: get to morning. Stop doing that to yourself. You are
- 10:37Speaker 1: a morning person. You wake up grateful that God will
- 10:40Speaker 1: you up. Stop saying you're not a morning person. That's
- 10:44Speaker 1: one of the most ridiculous statements you can make when
- 10:48Speaker 1: don't you want to wake up every day? So why
- 10:51Speaker 1: would you say I'm not a morning person. Don't keep
- 10:54Speaker 1: telling God that, Okay, you're gonna get you wished one day. Now.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I am a morning person. All of us on this
- 11:03Speaker 1: radio show we are morning people. We dedicated to the morning.

- 11:19Speaker 1: to get it's starting. Don't no matter how I go,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I've been up since three thirty, three thirty. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 1: even for a morning person. Yeah yeah, I ain't wanna be.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I am sleep machine. I just told the mask off
- 11:41Speaker 1: last night and said, hell, I'm gonna lay here on
- 11:45Speaker 1: whatever side I want. I'm gonna dealing with this. Ladies

- 13:28Speaker 1: we're already know all right, all right, coming up a minute,
- 13:36Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:39Speaker 1: hear from the nephew as he runs that rank back
- 13:41Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening morning show, all right, it
- 13:47Speaker 1: is time now for the nephew to run that prank back.
- 13:49Speaker 1: What you got for us now, church gospel quiz. We're
- 13:52Speaker 1: gonna need you to know a few things about the
- 13:54Speaker 1: church if you're gonna be sitting up in hills. All right,
- 13:56Speaker 1: White folks that listen to the Steve Hard Morning Show,
- 13:58Speaker 1: pay attention. This is a this is how you fit
- 14:01Speaker 1: in when you go through a black church. All right,
- 14:04Speaker 1: cat dog if you hood? This is Grant. Hey, hey Greg,
- 14:08Speaker 1: this is brother Lewis Finley. I'm calling from Mount Sinai Mission.
- 14:12Speaker 1: There a Baptist church you you and your wife just
- 14:15Speaker 1: joined a couple of weeks ago, Am I right? Absolutely? Yes? Okay,
- 14:20Speaker 1: So now listen, um, I wanted to reach out to you.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I know you guys have started the uh the orientation,
- 14:27Speaker 1: and from my understanding, you you finished one one class
- 14:31Speaker 1: of the orientation. You got three more to go. With that, right, yes, alright, alright, alright,
- 14:36Speaker 1: So first of all, I want to say welcome to
- 14:39Speaker 1: Mount Sinai and and I hope you are enjoying yourself.
- 14:42Speaker 1: And I know that you and your wife are a
- 14:45Speaker 1: mixed couple. You your Carcasian and she's she's black. Are
- 14:49Speaker 1: you Are you liking the church so far? Grant? Absolutely,
- 14:54Speaker 1: we really are enjoying it. We completed our first orientation
- 14:58Speaker 1: and uh yeah, so far are really enjoying it. Okay, Okay,
- 15:02Speaker 1: did I catch you a bad time? I am at
- 15:04Speaker 1: work right now, but it's okay. I've got a couple
- 15:06Speaker 1: of I've got a couple of us. Okay, okay. I
- 15:09Speaker 1: just wanted to call you, man. I was worried I
- 15:11Speaker 1: know you because I don't think you noticed. But you
- 15:14Speaker 1: are the first Caucasian to join our church, and I
- 15:18Speaker 1: just want to make sure you kind of knew the
- 15:21Speaker 1: language and and just just kind of knowing what the
- 15:25Speaker 1: Black Church is all about. And there's certain sands and
- 15:28Speaker 1: different things I think you should know, so that uh
- 15:31Speaker 1: you know, I just don't want you to say the
- 15:33Speaker 1: wrong thing while you at the church. Does that makes sense? Uh? Okay? Okay,
- 15:38Speaker 1: So so what I wanted to do, like I wanted
- 15:41Speaker 1: to give you a little Black Church quiz, so you
- 15:44Speaker 1: can kind of maybe if you could let me know
- 15:47Speaker 1: where you are, you know, if you want a lower
- 15:50Speaker 1: level or a high level as far as being knowledgeable
- 15:53Speaker 1: about the Black church. Like still is blanking for me?
- 15:57Speaker 1: Grant And if you don't matter, I just want to
- 15:58Speaker 1: take a liberty of time. I let you get back
- 16:00Speaker 1: to work. But first of all, give a blank to God?
- 16:06Speaker 1: What what? What we're going in that blank? Right there?
- 16:08Speaker 1: First of all, give a blank to God. Well, all
- 16:12Speaker 1: I can think of Toman has to give give things
- 16:14Speaker 1: to God. H No, see that's wrong. See that's wrong.
- 16:19Speaker 1: See to see what it is is? First of all,
- 16:21Speaker 1: give an honor to God. All right, remember that. First
- 16:24Speaker 1: of all, give an honor to God. You got that? Okay? Yes, yes, okay.
- 16:29Speaker 1: First of all, give an honor to God, who is
- 16:31Speaker 1: the blank of my life? What? What? What? What goes
- 16:35Speaker 1: into blank? First of all, give an honor to God,
- 16:38Speaker 1: who is the blank of my life, the love of
- 16:42Speaker 1: my life. No, no, see that's that's that's that's wrong.
- 16:46Speaker 1: First of all, give an honor to God, who is
- 16:49Speaker 1: the head of my life. You can you shure that.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Okay, I was just are you sure? Are
- 16:56Speaker 1: you sure about that? Oh? I'm definitely sure about I
- 16:59Speaker 1: don't know, don't. What I don't want you to do
- 17:01Speaker 1: is question what I know. I'm from the Black Church.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I know. No, No No, I wasn't. I wasn't question you, sir,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I wasn't question. I'm sorry. I've just always heard it
- 17:09Speaker 1: that way. But okay, So so I'm trying to give
- 17:13Speaker 1: you the understanding of knowing what the Black Church is about.
- 17:15Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, I understand. I just I
- 17:17Speaker 1: p I appreciate it. I'm I apologize. Okay, No, no, Look,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I don't know these answers obviously, but I've got a meeting.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I gotta get to here in a minute like like this,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I'm curious if everyone in the church gets these phone calls. Wait,
- 17:31Speaker 1: wait a minute, Wait a minute, Grant, I know you
- 17:32Speaker 1: have a meeting, but what's more important your meeting or
- 17:35Speaker 1: knowing your position at the Black Church? What what's more important?
- 17:40Speaker 1: I really don't have time for this right now. I
- 17:42Speaker 1: can't believe it's actually happening, Like, did you did your
- 17:44Speaker 1: pastor even know that you're calling you right now? Well, no,
- 17:48Speaker 1: I took the livery of myself when I realized you
- 17:50Speaker 1: was Caucasian, that I would call and try to help
- 17:53Speaker 1: you so you would know what to do when you're
- 17:55Speaker 1: in the Black church when people are saying certain things
- 17:58Speaker 1: you okay, okay, Grant, if you don't, man, just do
- 18:02Speaker 1: this funning, Grant, like, do you know what hooping is? Hooping?
- 18:07Speaker 1: Like who the hooping? Uh? No, hooping is when in
- 18:10Speaker 1: the past. That is at the end of his sermon.
- 18:14Speaker 1: So listen to this. Goodn't got him? Knight, do that
- 18:20Speaker 1: funning if you if you wore a grant. Oh lo
- 18:26Speaker 1: oh god, oh night, no, no, no, no, you let
- 18:31Speaker 1: come on you women. Goodn't got out of my gott.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm doing that. Oh oh yeah, oh God,
- 18:45Speaker 1: old mighty. Okay, Hey, hey, Grant, do you think maybe
- 18:51Speaker 1: it's possible is that men, you can have some tessions
- 18:55Speaker 1: before you come back to the church and I can
- 18:58Speaker 1: prepare you more. Hey man, listen, you have caught me
- 19:02Speaker 1: at a really bad time and I'm quiet, honestly just
- 19:05Speaker 1: so frustrated. Like I've never heard of a quiz like this.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I'm really offended. To be honest, to be like, do
- 19:10Speaker 1: you guys not want me to go to your church anymore?
- 19:13Speaker 1: Like a matter of fact, dude, you should be calling
- 19:16Speaker 1: my wife right now. She's black, well, she should already
- 19:19Speaker 1: know the cost questions. You the one don't know why

- 23:04Speaker 1: as when you're in trouble. Yeah, thank you? Yeah all right?
- 23:09Speaker 1: Uh Taijuan, and Jupiter says, I'm thirty and I'm having
- 23:14Speaker 1: an affair with a guy that I met a line.
- 23:17Speaker 1: He's afraid of my husband, so he wants to have
- 23:19Speaker 1: sex in the car and remote places. I'm scared of
- 23:22Speaker 1: an axe murderer coming out of the woods, So how
- 23:25Speaker 1: do I convince him to get us to a hotel?
- 23:27Speaker 1: To get us a hotel room? Taijuan, listen to me,
- 23:34Speaker 1: how did you how you having an affair with a punk?
- 23:39Speaker 1: He's scared of your husband. He's supposed to be scared
- 23:43Speaker 1: of your husband. Why as you dating this punk? Ass fault?
- 23:47Speaker 1: He ain't got enough money to get no room? You're stupid.
- 23:51Speaker 1: You're having an affair with somebody that ain't even worth
- 23:57Speaker 1: the risk? Fair is you? Ain't fair? You in You're
- 24:02Speaker 1: in a car somewhere. I was here afraid of your husband. Now, Taiwan,
- 24:08Speaker 1: let's hope this ain't your real name, because it ain't,
- 24:10Speaker 1: but a couple of Taiwans. It might be Taiwan Taiwan, Taiwan.
- 24:17Speaker 1: You need you need to leave this boy along. He
- 24:19Speaker 1: ain't got not offer. You don't even a hotel money. Look, man,
- 24:24Speaker 1: if you you want to yead and cheat, you tin

- 24:33Speaker 1: You need an upgrade if you don't have it, said,
- 24:36Speaker 1: damn have a man, get a man. Just well, I'm scared.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Let's stay in this car. That's scared. You just come
- 24:53Speaker 1: on through it right here. Let's know, don't go in now.
- 24:58Speaker 1: We don't need to be seen in the park a lot.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Only only got money for hotels that got doors face
- 25:03Speaker 1: the parking lot. He gonna see y'alls, Bob, stop asking
- 25:12Speaker 1: me for no, we're just being this car. You know
- 25:15Speaker 1: you saw your husband? He big. Moving on to DeAndre. No,
- 25:20Speaker 1: you're gonna hit me. He gonna hit me? Ain't I
- 25:25Speaker 1: hit me? Deandrew says, I keep getting calls from an
- 25:29Speaker 1: unknown number, and I get I caught my husband peeking
- 25:32Speaker 1: out my phone one time. He suggests that I got
- 25:35Speaker 1: my number changed so the calls will stop, and that
- 25:38Speaker 1: has me suspicious? Why is he more concerned than I am? What? What? What? How?
- 25:45Speaker 1: You thumping this on him? Is he more concerned than
- 25:50Speaker 1: I am. Yeah, to his wife, is getting what you
- 25:56Speaker 1: say calls from unknown numbers as a protection measure? Your
- 26:00Speaker 1: husband says you ought to change your number? Why is
- 26:04Speaker 1: he more concerned than me? Because I'm real man. We're
- 26:08Speaker 1: good at two things, providing and protecting. Now we're good
- 26:14Speaker 1: at both them things. Now we may fall short in
- 26:17Speaker 1: THEO you know, romance department, to communication department, the nurturing department.
- 26:25Speaker 1: We might fall short and remembering department. But if you
- 26:29Speaker 1: got a man, he got to have him two things
- 26:32Speaker 1: right there, protection and provision. Now he trying to protect you.
- 26:39Speaker 1: That's you asking a really ignorant question. Really, yeah, why
- 26:44Speaker 1: is he more concerned than me? What? So you're trying
- 26:47Speaker 1: to make it think he think you cheating, so he
- 26:50Speaker 1: must be cheating. Is that what you're trying to say?
- 26:52Speaker 1: That's a stretch. You don't go to baby bye? Yeah?
- 27:00Speaker 1: By DeAndre? All right, Annalisa and Newark. We're moving on
- 27:03Speaker 1: to Annalise and Alis says, I work with a bunch
- 27:06Speaker 1: of haters that don't like me because I got a
- 27:08Speaker 1: new car and I carry myself differently. I don't talk
- 27:12Speaker 1: to them and I keep to myself. I got a
- 27:14Speaker 1: message from my boss that I'm not a team player.
- 27:17Speaker 1: How do I co exist with beads haters? Well wait
- 27:20Speaker 1: a minute, now, did all this start happening after you
- 27:24Speaker 1: got the new car? All of this? You mean car?
- 27:31Speaker 1: Then change your attitude? You see this out of the
- 27:36Speaker 1: out hill. She said, they don't like that because I
- 27:39Speaker 1: got a new car. That's what she said. So then
- 27:43Speaker 1: she just stopped talking to him, and she keep bringing
- 27:47Speaker 1: she keeping the card. It's kind of like on the
- 27:51Speaker 1: jail Show that time. I had this man, him and
- 27:54Speaker 1: his wife. I was trying to sue the lady down
- 27:57Speaker 1: the street for knocking over their mailbox. She knocked the
- 27:59Speaker 1: mail box over and she offered to fix it. She
- 28:04Speaker 1: was running late for a job interview. She's single mother
- 28:06Speaker 1: with three she was gonna be late for an interview.
- 28:08Speaker 1: She hit the people's mailbox. But she as soon as
- 28:12Speaker 1: she got at work, she called him and told him
- 28:13Speaker 1: I hit your mailbox. I'm sorry, but I was rushing.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Now they come to court, they Christians. Now we go
- 28:20Speaker 1: to church and we don't like people trying to do
- 28:22Speaker 1: us like this. And then this man come talking about
- 28:25Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking about. I'm trying to
- 28:26Speaker 1: cheat you. I got a hundred thousand dollar car, right
- 28:32Speaker 1: do we're in court? I said, I hold onup, man,
- 28:35Speaker 1: What the hell like I do with this mailbox? Because
- 28:37Speaker 1: I got a hundred thousand dollars car. Ya on him?
- 28:43Speaker 1: I was so damned confused looking at him. Yeah, you
- 28:48Speaker 1: gotta see that episode because I ended up cussing him
- 28:51Speaker 1: out rushing to get this job if it was horrible, cass.
- 28:57Speaker 1: But no, your car ain't an important baby. You ain't
- 28:59Speaker 1: talking to people call you got a new car, kin
- 29:01Speaker 1: gonna stay new. You do know that, don't you? All Right?
- 29:06Speaker 1: Thank you Cielo. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:08Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 29:12Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, time to kick up
- 29:18Speaker 1: today's entertainment news. Yes, man, But before we do that,
- 29:22Speaker 1: Miss Shirley Strawberry, Guys, we have to congratulate our girl,
- 29:27Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry. Shirley has been named once again Radio Inc's
- 29:33Speaker 1: Most Influential Women in Radio. She made the list. Yeah,
- 29:38Speaker 1: our girl is a legend. She's an icon, Shirley. That's
- 29:43Speaker 1: in congratulations, Shirley Strawberries. Yeah, thank you, Carla. You're welcome
- 29:53Speaker 1: my radio sister voice, all all of it, all of it,
- 29:58Speaker 1: shut down radio, Yes, yes, thank you, all right, thank you,
- 30:05Speaker 1: thank you, and other entertainment news. We are still so
- 30:08Speaker 1: happy for the LSU ladies for winning the championship over
- 30:12Speaker 1: Iowa on Sunday. But listen to this, I mean, since
- 30:16Speaker 1: when has the losing team ever been in white invited
- 30:20Speaker 1: to the White House? Is this the thing? Now? What's happening? All?
- 30:26Speaker 1: First Lady Jill Biden invited both teams to the White
- 30:29Speaker 1: House during a speech in Colorado on Monday. The First
- 30:32Speaker 1: Lady praised Iowa sportsmanship and congratulated both teams on their performances.
- 30:37Speaker 1: She said, quote, I know we'll have the champions come
- 30:40Speaker 1: to the White House. We always do, so we hope
- 30:43Speaker 1: LSU will come. She said, But you know, I'm going
- 30:46Speaker 1: to tell Joe that I think I WAD should come
- 30:48Speaker 1: too because they played such a good game. What you
- 30:53Speaker 1: don't give in real life? Where are the house off? Yeah?
- 31:03Speaker 1: By second Hill? Come on, num, what you're doing? I
- 31:07Speaker 1: want I would have come to this. Ain't what this is?
- 31:11Speaker 1: No eight year old league with little kids in it.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Lar she won't get to go to damn White House.
- 31:19Speaker 1: So uh. When LSU start player Angel Reef got wind
- 31:24Speaker 1: of the first Lady's invitation for Iowa, she responded in
- 31:26Speaker 1: a tweet by simply calling it quote a joke. All right,
- 31:31Speaker 1: she said, it's a joke, yeah, because this doesn't happen normally.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Is that is it a prank? You know, normally picked
- 31:40Speaker 1: up on pranks? Is that what it is? April fools?
- 31:45Speaker 1: I think these two things, well you know what it is.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I think it's that number twenty two clock, very popular
- 31:52Speaker 1: and in the sport whenever they can, you know. And
- 31:55Speaker 1: then Iowa had an all white team. Get a dude,
- 32:00Speaker 1: we lost and they lost. So you know, here we comes.
- 32:04Speaker 1: That's never happened before. They ain't have this word never.
- 32:08Speaker 1: And now LSU don't get to enjoy their molar because
- 32:10Speaker 1: they got to share with Iowa. Change sharing that they
- 32:15Speaker 1: ain't sharing that trophy. Well, Joe ain't step up and
- 32:18Speaker 1: say nothing? Why Jill ain't step in and say something?
- 32:20Speaker 1: Say that's Joe wife, what you're talking about? And he's
- 32:24Speaker 1: a little busy right now. No, I'm gonna tell Jill,
- 32:29Speaker 1: I think both of our mother we don't. Yeah, we
- 32:33Speaker 1: the people what you're gonna give? No, No, doctor Jill,
- 32:38Speaker 1: you don't go to the White House for playing good right,
- 32:43Speaker 1: stay lost by seventeen. I didn't know that the second
- 32:48Speaker 1: place person don't even get on the weedy box champion.
- 32:54Speaker 1: We're doing man, all right, all right, No, please don't
- 32:59Speaker 1: go graciously decline, all right, all right. So moving on
- 33:04Speaker 1: to this crazy story, rapper Whiz Khalifa has penned a
- 33:07Speaker 1: new poem for Junior. Penned a new poem for all
- 33:10Speaker 1: of the haters that have talked about his feet. Wizz
- 33:14Speaker 1: had posted pictures of himself barefoot, and all his fans
- 33:17Speaker 1: were able to focus on were his ashy feet that
- 33:20Speaker 1: were very unattractive, and they started roasting his feet in
- 33:23Speaker 1: the comments. So Wizz took the social media over the
- 33:27Speaker 1: weekend and shared his poem with the seventy five million followers.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Here's Wizz's poem on part of it anyway, it says, quote,
- 33:34Speaker 1: stop making jokes about my feet because that's sugar honey
- 33:38Speaker 1: iced tea ain't funny. Y'all keep making jokes about my feet,
- 33:42Speaker 1: but b I got money. You ain't gonna say it
- 33:45Speaker 1: to my face, But y'all talk about me when I'm gone.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Your toes probably looked like that too, But you got
- 33:51Speaker 1: nail polish on. When I've seen all those tweets, you
- 33:55Speaker 1: can imagine how I felt. I get pedicures, but my

- 45:20Speaker 1: When they wrote the whole check, it was holy, holy, holy,
- 45:24Speaker 1: moly hot checks at the church. Let's go cat Dog. Hello, Hello,
- 45:30Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Monica system. Monica. Please, this
- 45:35Speaker 1: is brother de Sean. I'm calling Actually I'm a member
- 45:38Speaker 1: Greater Commissionary Baptist Church. How can I help you? Calling
- 45:41Speaker 1: you actually about the offering? Now? Did you you? I
- 45:44Speaker 1: know you paid your ties Sunday? Okay? Now you paid
- 45:48Speaker 1: a love offering as well? Right? Yes, okay, now this
- 45:52Speaker 1: past Sunday. I'm looking at a check that you left
- 45:55Speaker 1: us with the bank, right right, I sure did check Sunday. Okay.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Now the check, ma'am was two hundred and fifty dollars?
- 46:05Speaker 1: Am I correct? Right? Right? I wrote two checks for
- 46:07Speaker 1: my ties and the love offering? Right, I wrote one
- 46:10Speaker 1: for two fifty for the love offering. Okay, Now what
- 46:13Speaker 1: is this call regarding? Why are you calling me? Well,
- 46:16Speaker 1: what I wanted to tell you is that I hate
- 46:18Speaker 1: to be a y of bad news, but your check
- 46:21Speaker 1: that you wrote for two fifty actually has bounced. And
- 46:26Speaker 1: wait a minute, you said my check bounce for two
- 46:28Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars. Your check bounce. So what I'm
- 46:31Speaker 1: doing is calling you about recouping the two fifty as well,
- 46:35Speaker 1: as you know you you cost us thirty dollars in
- 46:39Speaker 1: bank fees. But wait a minute, now, I wrote two checks.
- 46:42Speaker 1: I wrote a check for one hundred dollars. Did that
- 46:44Speaker 1: one bounce? I don't see to it that that that
- 46:47Speaker 1: one bounced. All I know is the one that the
- 46:48Speaker 1: love offering has bounced. What did you put them in
- 46:51Speaker 1: at the same time? Because I wrote him at the
- 46:52Speaker 1: same time. They all go in on Monday, ma'am. Now
- 46:56Speaker 1: I didn't put them in at the same time. I've
- 46:57Speaker 1: been putting them in for the last two three years.
- 46:59Speaker 1: The problem of the meals, why would people write them?
- 47:01Speaker 1: What is your name? M brother de Sean? And you
- 47:04Speaker 1: was at it Sunday I was. I don't think it matters,
- 47:07Speaker 1: and when I was there, man, the problem is it
- 47:09Speaker 1: that I didn't put these checks in. And I don't
- 47:11Speaker 1: understand why y'all write these checks to the track knowing
- 47:14Speaker 1: that they're gonna write the chere. A lot of people
- 47:17Speaker 1: write the good, well not right bad checks. One clear?
- 47:20Speaker 1: Why the other one didn't clear? Maybe you didn't have
- 47:22Speaker 1: enough money for both of them to clear. What What
- 47:26Speaker 1: did you just say? Maybe you didn't have enough money
- 47:28Speaker 1: in the bank for both of them to clear. And
- 47:29Speaker 1: I don't understand why people might planning money in the
- 47:32Speaker 1: bank at all. My checks clear. I don't write no
- 47:35Speaker 1: rubber checks. Well, you wrote one on Sunday, and that's
- 47:38Speaker 1: the problem. How are you gonna try to give a
- 47:40Speaker 1: lot us? Wait a minute, I think you got me
- 47:42Speaker 1: confused with somebody else. I don't write no bad checks.
- 47:44Speaker 1: You didn't wrote them to be nice to you. I'm
- 47:47Speaker 1: trying to be nice to you. Win up. Can we
- 47:48Speaker 1: expect the two fifty plus the thirty dollars? So thirty dollars?
- 47:52Speaker 1: That's the bank feeds man for the dolls gonna check bouncing.
- 47:56Speaker 1: My check didn't bounce. I don't check my bank. And
- 47:58Speaker 1: if my check clear, you're gonna pay me thirty dollars
- 48:01Speaker 1: for calling me harassing me about a two hundred and
- 48:03Speaker 1: fifty dollar check bounce. I don't write no Why would
- 48:07Speaker 1: you write check? What you want to? Sit up in
- 48:08Speaker 1: the church and write these big number checks when you
- 48:11Speaker 1: know you ain't got it in the bay? What did
- 48:13Speaker 1: you say? I said, why would you write these checks
- 48:16Speaker 1: when the money ain't in? Now, let me tell you
- 48:19Speaker 1: one thing. I don't write no bad check. And you
- 48:22Speaker 1: got a lots calling me telling me my check bounce.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Y'all check is the one that has bounced. And you
- 48:27Speaker 1: tell you what you do since my check bounce, you
- 48:30Speaker 1: paid them, since you got all the money, And don't
- 48:33Speaker 1: call me with this again. Hello, don't you hang up
- 48:38Speaker 1: on me no more? Why don't we gonna get this
- 48:40Speaker 1: two fifty and this thirty dollars? About from the church? Tobody?
- 48:45Speaker 1: I wrote a bad check, I write No, you didn't
- 48:48Speaker 1: write a bad check. I didn't write no bad Yes,
- 48:51Speaker 1: why are you calling me? Why the treasure? Don't call
- 48:54Speaker 1: me at church? The treasure is I ain't never know
- 48:57Speaker 1: the deacon called nobody about no bad check. You're fully
- 49:03Speaker 1: thank you you got the money. I ain't got Who
- 49:06Speaker 1: in the hell is that in the background? Who is that? Ever? Mine?
- 49:09Speaker 1: Who it is? We're both going to the same church
- 49:11Speaker 1: and you're gonna call me to my I wrote a
- 49:13Speaker 1: bad check. You don't you call me no more? And

- 49:24Speaker 1: we gonna get this two hundred and eighty dollars is
- 49:26Speaker 1: what we're looking for from you. I wrote a check
- 49:28Speaker 1: for two fifty and not get two eighty. You put
- 49:32Speaker 1: the thirty dollars with it. You put two fifty in there.
- 49:35Speaker 1: It bounce. Thirty dollars cost us on bake fees. That's
- 49:38Speaker 1: two eighty. Where can the church expect their money? Never not,
- 49:43Speaker 1: no two eighty. You will never get to eighty. You're
- 49:45Speaker 1: gonna make me come by and my check in. But
- 49:48Speaker 1: what did you say? I'm gonna do what You're gonna

- 54:15Speaker 1: I'm a twenty eight year old executive and I have
- 54:17Speaker 1: all that I need because I learned at an early
- 54:20Speaker 1: age that I have a money maker below my waist.
- 54:23Speaker 1: I was raised by a single mother and a real
- 54:26Speaker 1: fly auntie that has always been for the streets. I
- 54:30Speaker 1: used to stay with my aunt after school and she
- 54:32Speaker 1: always had a different man around fixing up her little
- 54:35Speaker 1: raggedy house. She always got fresh flowers into her and
- 54:39Speaker 1: she always had nice things. When I was twelve years old,
- 54:43Speaker 1: my grandma told me that my aunt got whatever she
- 54:45Speaker 1: wanted from men, and I could too. I had the
- 54:48Speaker 1: body of a grown woman by my eighteenth birthday, so
- 54:52Speaker 1: I started using it to get the things I wanted
- 54:54Speaker 1: and need it in my life. When I moved into
- 54:57Speaker 1: my first first place, I had the the older man
- 55:00Speaker 1: buy me a washer and dryer, a sofa, and a
- 55:03Speaker 1: patio set after he paid my rent for three months.
- 55:07Speaker 1: He didn't require much from me, but I gave myself
- 55:10Speaker 1: to him because I felt like I owed him that.
- 55:13Speaker 1: As I got older, I wanted to settle down. I
- 55:16Speaker 1: cut off all my sugar daddies and I set up
- 55:19Speaker 1: an online dating profile. Two years ago, I met a
- 55:22Speaker 1: doctor and we have been dating for almost two years. Lately,
- 55:26Speaker 1: he stopped doing the nice things he used to do
- 55:29Speaker 1: for me. He started out taking me to the best
- 55:31Speaker 1: shops and restaurants, and he would send flowers to my
- 55:34Speaker 1: job and shower me with gifts. Now he treats me
- 55:38Speaker 1: like we're an old, married couple. He's got a high
- 55:40Speaker 1: sex drive, and so do I. But I told him
- 55:43Speaker 1: we're putting sex on hold for now. He flipped out
- 55:46Speaker 1: on me and he called me a gold digger because
- 55:48Speaker 1: I switched things up on him. I told him, you
- 55:51Speaker 1: get what you pay for. Is it gold digger ish
- 55:55Speaker 1: to handle him like this since we're in a relationship.
- 55:58Speaker 1: What did I do wrong? Well, you did everything wrong.
- 56:02Speaker 1: I mean this sounds like pay for play, This sounds
- 56:04Speaker 1: like prostitution, this sounds like a whole what this letter
- 56:09Speaker 1: is crazy right here? I think you got caught up
- 56:12Speaker 1: with the doctor as well. You can say that you
- 56:16Speaker 1: use men to get what you want because you know
- 56:18Speaker 1: you got a moneymaker below your waist and all of that.
- 56:21Speaker 1: But this time I think he's got you. I mean,
- 56:23Speaker 1: I guess your mom and your auntie or your grandmother
- 56:26Speaker 1: whoever the auntie that was for the streets didn't tell
- 56:29Speaker 1: you about that part that sometimes you can get caught
- 56:32Speaker 1: up as well. You're never supposed to catch feelings for
- 56:35Speaker 1: these guys, because before you know it, they'll flip it
- 56:38Speaker 1: on you and do just what you're doing to them.
- 56:42Speaker 1: They'll do that to you. And now you're looking for
- 56:44Speaker 1: him and wondering about him and what he's doing and
- 56:47Speaker 1: why he's not buying you stuff like before you cutting
- 56:50Speaker 1: him off and telling him you get what you pay for.
- 56:52Speaker 1: It sounds like prostitution on your part. I mean, I'm
- 56:55Speaker 1: sure it also means he's mad and he's starting to
- 56:58Speaker 1: take you for granted. He probably thinks you shouldn't have
- 57:01Speaker 1: to he shouldn't have to buy you stuff anymore. It's
- 57:03Speaker 1: been two years, because you guys have been together for
- 57:06Speaker 1: a while. Now now he's calling you a gold digger
- 57:09Speaker 1: so he won't have to continue paying for you. This
- 57:12Speaker 1: is kind of how this goes, you know, it started
- 57:15Speaker 1: off one way but two years later it's into a
- 57:18Speaker 1: whole other different situation. And by you saying you get
- 57:21Speaker 1: what you pay for, I mean, what does that make you?
- 57:24Speaker 1: Come on, think about it, Steve. I got this letter
- 57:28Speaker 1: figured out right away. This ain't gonna take me long,
- 57:30Speaker 1: and I don't know if I'm gonna take my time
- 57:32Speaker 1: doing this. So here we go. Pay attention, ladies. Anybody
- 57:35Speaker 1: need to hear this, especially if you feel like this
- 57:38Speaker 1: young lady does. Twenty eight year old executive. I have
- 57:42Speaker 1: all that I need because I learned at an early age,
- 57:44Speaker 1: and I have a money makeup below my ways. Well
- 57:48Speaker 1: do you know that that's not new information? Do you
- 57:53Speaker 1: know that every single living female has one? Do you
- 58:01Speaker 1: know that? But the fact that you referred to it
- 58:04Speaker 1: as a money maker, this is the mistake you making
- 58:11Speaker 1: because what you have is valuable. But when you referred
- 58:15Speaker 1: to it as a money maker, well we're talking about
- 58:18Speaker 1: something else. Now. That's the oldest profession in the world.
- 58:21Speaker 1: I was raised by a single mother and a real
- 58:24Speaker 1: flyer aunt that always has been for the streets. I
- 58:28Speaker 1: used to stay with my un after school and she
- 58:30Speaker 1: always had a different man around, fixing up her little
- 58:36Speaker 1: raggedy house. I'm gonna come right back to that in
- 58:39Speaker 1: a minute. She always got fresh, fresh flowers sent to her.
- 58:43Speaker 1: She always had nice things. But see you said something
- 58:50Speaker 1: a minute ago that was key fixing up her little
- 58:55Speaker 1: raggedy house. Oh we got money for flowers, We give
- 59:02Speaker 1: your couch, we give things to go in your little
- 59:07Speaker 1: raggedy house. But you know what a man ain't gonna do.
- 59:12Speaker 1: He ain't gonna put you in the home because you
- 59:15Speaker 1: got to show a different type of value to get
- 59:18Speaker 1: a home out the deal, saying nobody fit to make
- 59:23Speaker 1: a home with you. They're just gonna keep putting little
- 59:26Speaker 1: stuff in your aunt's ragged ass house. And watch this.
- 59:31Speaker 1: My grandmama told me that my aunt got whatever she
- 59:33Speaker 1: wanted from me, and I could too. I had the
- 59:36Speaker 1: body of a grown woman by the time my eighteen birthday,
- 59:38Speaker 1: so I started using it to get things I wanted
- 59:41Speaker 1: and needed in my life. When I moved into my
- 59:43Speaker 1: first place, here you go, just like yo aunt, her
- 59:46Speaker 1: little ragged ass house. Guess what you had to do.
- 59:49Speaker 1: You had to get your own first place. I had
- 59:52Speaker 1: this older man by me, a washer and dry, a sofa,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: patty on set, and he paid rent for three months
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: you know what he did. He put things in your
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: little raggedy ass house. But guess what he didn't do.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: He didn't get you know home. You see why I'm
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: going with this. When I come back. The rest of
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: the heartbreak story is on the way. All right, Steve,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: you get what you pay for. We'll get back into
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: subject you get what you pay for? Yeah, you do,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: and you're gonna pay for what you get. See that's
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: part you listen missing long day. You get what you
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: pay for, but you forgot though, you got to pay
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: for what you get. And so here you go, because
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: you got this banging body by time he was eighteen.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: You should go over to your aunt's house and stay
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: y'all was all the way. It's about them streets. You say,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: so your aunt had a different man over that all
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: the time, and they was giving her things, and you said,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: fixing up her little raggedy house. Oh, they put flowers
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: in it. They did all types of nice things for her,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: but they didn't give a no home a man to slick.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: See see see once he finds. Once a man find
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: out you tricky and he know you tricky, you're not
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: fitting to trick him. So let's give the tricker some
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: trink cats. So your aunt had a bunch of trink cats,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: never had a real man, never had a great house
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: because she lived in a ragged ass house. They just
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: put a little stuff in it. Then your grandmamma told
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: you that you could be like yo, aren't get whatever
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: you want because you had a grown woman body, So
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: you started using it to get things you wanted and
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: needed in your life. Then here we go. Here you
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: go repeating just like y'r aunt. When I moved into
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: my first place, ain't nobody bought that for you? So
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: you moved into your little ragged ass house. Then I
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: had older men by me a washing dry. I had
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: this older man buy me a washing dry, some things,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: a sofa, some things. Bought you a patio set, some things.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: See you think you're doing something. See old men got
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: money because they've been alive for a long time. So yeah,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: older man gonna have more money. Than thirty year old
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: do he got a little extra expendable income because he
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: probably got all out of his house. So buying you
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: a little patio, set down that sun patio that his
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: song selfer, you know, one hundred and eighty nine dollars.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: You get the umbrella, the table, the folk chairs, a
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: chase cloth mat, welcome Matt. Yeah, he got that for you.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: You thought you had something, but go back and look
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: at it. That's that son patio. They throw themselves every
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: weekend doing something and then. But I gave myself to
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: him because I felt like I owed him that. Yeah,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: because that's what you was trained to do with your
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: grown woman body. You exchange your precious body for As
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: I got older, I wanted to settle down. Oh but
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: watch how this worked on I cut off all my
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: sugar daddies and set up an online dating profile. Two
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: years ago, I met a doctor. We've been dating for
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: almost two years, two years now, and now lately he
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: stopped doing the nice things he used to do for me.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: He started out taking me to the best shops in restaurants.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: He's been sending flowers to my job, showering me with gifts.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Now he treats me like we're an old married couple.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: He got a high sex drive, and so do I.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: But I told him were putting sex on hold for now.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: He flipped out on me. He called me a gold digger.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Excuse me, excuse me? He called you what a gold digger?
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: What's the problem? You use your body to dig for gold?
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Ain't there what you're saying? Excuse me, why are you
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: writing this letter? What part of this is Sherlen and
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I are supposed to help you with. I switched things
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: up on him. He called you a gold digger because
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I switched things up on him. I told him you
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: get what you pay for. So you told this to
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: a doctor that you get what you pay for. But
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: see the reason he changed because he started seeing signs
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: in you. He started seeing things about you. He started
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: discovering you wasn't about nothing, see because you don't realize it,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: but you kept some of your ways. You always sitting
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: up at the night shop. Ain't putting nothing in the
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: table with him. He ain't see no future. You're a man,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: a doctor. He ain't going to care you know where.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: You don't know how to ask you up here? You're
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: spending all his money. You accept everything. You don't get
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: this man a card or nothing? Is it gold digger
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: ish to handle him like this? Since we're in a relationship?
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: What are you stupid? All your relationships have been sugar daddies.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: All your relationships have been you trading your body for things,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: And now you want to know in a relationship? Is
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: it gold diggers to handle him like this? Since we're
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: in a relationship? What did I do wrong? You don't
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: keep having arrangements. You don't have relationships, You have arrangements.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you this for this banging body, this moneymaker,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I got below my waist, and y'all give me things now.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Ain't fill up your little ragged ass apartment just like
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: they feel up your aunt's ragged ass house. Every man
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: you meet is willing to give you things to make
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: your house look better, and they now wanted the man
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: gonna get you no home, That doctor nothing to marry you.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Are you crazy? Are you kidding me? You think this man,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: this doctor, it's gonna marry you? And then you verbally
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: said it. You get what you pay for. Once you
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: say that to a man, I'll promise you you can't
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: take that back because you are messing with one of
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: the two things that we are good at, protection and provision.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: And once you start downplaying our provision ability, yeah, you're right,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: you get what you pay for, but then tell you
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: something else. You're gonna pay for what you get and
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: now you're fit to pay. Now you need to go
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: somewhere and sit your lord, find Dusty behind down somewhere
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: and let your little things sutter down somewhere, because right
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: now I got too much activity on it. Okay, you
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: are ninety five coming out of Florida. Leave your comments
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: on Today through Drug on Instagram, at Steve Harvey FM
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: and check out the Strawberry Letters Train special coming up
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: next to the Sports Talk with Junior departure Tacks. You're
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: listening Steve Barbie Morning Show. It is time now for
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Junior and Sports Talk. Junior. What you got? You know what, Carlor,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I just saw it you sent me. You know, this
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: is so crazy that this young lady Angel Reese is
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: getting this much flek for something that she did. I mean,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: everybody's coming for her, and it's so crazy because now
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I don't even know who this guy is, but he
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: tweeted that she Angel Reyes is a classless piece of sugar,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: honey iced tea. Wow, but that's okay. Shack tweeted right
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: back on that same thread and says, so is your
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: mother get that? I'm telling you man, it is, it is.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: It's really really not even for doing the same thing.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: You can't be bad when you lose. I think that's
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: old boy from Barstool Sports that as. I think that's
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: who that is, Junior. But because Shaq has been defending,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: ain't l Reese to the I mean, I love how
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: he's defending her. He said, he looks at her like
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: a daughter your mama. It's pretty it's pretty serious. Yeah,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: you know, you know, I don't see what she did wrong?
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Did that John that John Senior created that the wrestler. Yeah,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: you don't see me. Yeah. Now, Caitlin Clark, the baller
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: from ours, she did it to the team at Louisville.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: She did she did it trash talking. It's trash talking
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: is part of the game, That's what it is. I
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: got this ring. You can go head on you all
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: that stuff. Plus they don't know what gets said on
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: that floor all the time, right right. I got her,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I got her. You got who Yeah, I tell you
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: what I tell you what come get this hill and
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: it's just all bull I'm telling you, man, that's why
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Joe Biden is invite trying to invite the losers to
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: the White House if it just has seat. But all
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: she did was what the other girl did. Now she
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: a problem, right because because she's blood. Call it what
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: it is, disrespect the black woman. We get disrespect about
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: great response. Shock, Hey, it was great response. Yes. Also
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: up go down today man, Master Masters. This weekend be
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: the part three contest kick off to day. Tiger playing
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Man play, Yeah, Tiger playing man. If you bet on
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Tig and he wins, who you're gonna make some money. Really,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: what I think is seven fifty one? Are you betting
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: on Tiger? Yeah, so we're gonna be watching Tigers. Yeah
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: he played this weekend. Man. You know the favorite they
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: got like Roy McElroy, George Speed. They don't even think
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Tiger gotta shot at chev Yeah you know, so let's
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: gonna be some good golf off man if them had
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: one more than Tiger. All right, Junior, thank you. Coming
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Steve, a middle
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: age woman wants to know how long should you know
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: someone before I'm moving in with them. We'll find out
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right. This one's from
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Anonymous in the d m V. Anonymous wrote, I'm in
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: my mid forties and my boyfriend and I have been
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: dating for eight months. I live about forty five minutes
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: away from him, so I do a lot of driving
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: to spend time with him. He's been pressuring me to
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: move in with him so I won't have to go
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: back and forth all the time. I considered it, but
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: I'm afraid it might be too soon, so I have doubts.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: How long should you know someone before you move in
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: with them? You should do this until you don't have doubts. Okay, See,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: don't yield to the pressure. If the pressure and you're unsure,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Why do you think you're unsure? Because you don't really
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: feel as though you know him that well. And it's secondly,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: why you gotta do all the drive getting this damn car.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: See that was the real problem. Man, y'all be playing
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: y'allself short, y'all be doing some real ignorant mens. So
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: you're gonna bring the most precious prize, possession and gift
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: ever given to man. You're gonna drive it to him man, right,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: you mean he ain't gotta come get it? Not happening? Man,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: y'all got to be kidding me. Man, I don't know
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: what can happen over here. Ladies, ladies, pull yourself together,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: number one. You are the prize, not him. Beyonce told y'all,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I can get another one of you in a minute
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: to the left, to the least, I can get another
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: one of you in a minute. Y'all tripping? Now you
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: want me to move in? What else is Beyonce? Put
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: a ring on it? Yes? You know all listen stop
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: letting men have all these free ass test drive? Yes,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: what is the test driving for? Let me? Can I
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: tell y'all something about men? We know within six months
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: if we want you an within six months? Yeah, we really,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: we really have a lot of different that we really
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: have an idea before six months, you know, tell you really,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: but I need two months, three months. Make sure your
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: aunt's ain't crazy, but we can tell it you crazy
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: and you are. You almost never get that work out right?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Always I'm telling you about now they're crazy coming that crazy? Yeah,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: well I know I'm crazy crazy, It ain't y'all crazy?
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: And you know, man, I just think that I just
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: think that, uh you know, see y'all listen, lady, if
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: a man been dating you over a year and he
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: ain't said nothing serious to you, it's because you ain't
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: serious to him a year and he ain't saying nothing
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: serious to you, Like, what's something serious? So I love you?
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: Hell you gonna? I love you? Okay, I don't want
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: nobody but you. I ain't seeing were in a committed relationship.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: If you've been there for a year and you ain't
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: heard that he ain't got no plans for you, you're
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: ask to start wrapping it up, Yes, Carlin, isn't it?
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Also what they do is not just what a man
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: is saying to you's actions as well. You know something,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: I told this to somebody the other day. A person
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: was telling me a problem that they had at work,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: and I said, tell your man this problem. You're happy.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: If your man does not offer a solution, you're not
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: important to him. Well, I don't think it's his position
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: to have to figure that out for me. That ain't
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: your position to tell. You can't tell us how to
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: be providers and protect us. It's in I DNA. If
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: you have been dating a man for a while, or
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: you considering getting serious. Tell him a problem you got
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: and see what type of solution he's provided. And if
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: his solution does not include something he can do to
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: help you, heat, don't give a damn about you. Come on,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: work it out yourself. And if you think that ain't true,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: go check your man and find out. It's an easy test.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: It's easy. You know, that's what we do best normally. Yeah,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: but today is that the same? I mean, does it
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: still work in today's time? It worked right now? It's
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: just we don't food y'all and got y'all thinking, y'all
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: got to do something else. Y'all got to bring something
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: to the table. Hell, she the only one in relationship
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: can make another you? How about that cake? All right?
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: All right? Coming up in twenty minutes, Yes, it is
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes after the hour. We will
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right. So, former
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: NBA star lamar Odom is clean and sober these days,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: and he's ready to devote his time to help other
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: drug addicts. Lamar odom struggles with drugs were widely publicized
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: after a near fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel back
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: in twenty fifteen. He continually works on his sobriety and
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: wants to help others do the same, so, along with
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: two of his business part nurse, he plans to open
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: three rehab centers in the San Diego area. The facilities,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: which will be called Oldham Wellness Treatment Centers, will include
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: one women's residential treatment home and two men's detox residential
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: treatment homes. Oldham's rep stated that he wants to quote
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: help everyone he can. He is thankful that he was
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: given a second chance in his life and it's his
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: destiny to help others that job. But didn't he in
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: that statement, was any of them opening in Houston? I
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: got penty work cleaned. If you get a facility that
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: you're gonna keep, we got plenty people to keep you
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: in bed at least at least fifteen if you just
