- 2:02Speaker 1: show will good morning everybody. You'll listening to the voice now,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me one and only. Steve Harvey got
- 2:09Speaker 1: a radio show one more time partner, Steve Harvey got
- 2:13Speaker 1: a radio show. Man. How amazing is that? How good
- 2:20Speaker 1: has God been to me? How good has he been
- 2:24Speaker 1: to you? Just check yourself sometimes, just sit up, Just
- 2:29Speaker 1: let's run a survey. Just look at your life, where
- 2:31Speaker 1: it's at. It might not be where you want it
- 2:34Speaker 1: to be, but that's probably some decisions you made. But really, though,
- 2:38Speaker 1: in spite of all the crazy mistakes I didn't made,
- 2:43Speaker 1: I mean, man, I look back at some of the
- 2:46Speaker 1: decisions I didn't came up with, and and man, it's
- 2:49Speaker 1: it's it's just amazing. He let me live. I mean,
- 2:52Speaker 1: it's it's and and and to exist the way I exist.
- 2:55Speaker 1: It does nothing but grace, mercy, favor all that is.
- 3:00Speaker 1: That's what my mama praying for me when I wasn't
- 3:02Speaker 1: praying for myself. It had to be it, because, man,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I can truly tell you I have made enough mistakes man,
- 3:09Speaker 1: stuff you would never even know about, and recovered from
- 3:13Speaker 1: them all you can too, and I don't care what
- 3:17Speaker 1: you've done. Marvin Sapp has a song out that says
- 3:21Speaker 1: he saw the best in me when everyone else around
- 3:25Speaker 1: me could only see the worst in me. You know
- 3:29Speaker 1: that that's an important song man, especially. You know. I
- 3:33Speaker 1: want to talk to men today because man, being a
- 3:39Speaker 1: man is so so difficult. Please know it has been
- 3:46Speaker 1: my quest ever since I was a little boy. My
- 3:48Speaker 1: father had one ambition, son, I don't care what you do,
- 3:54Speaker 1: but when I get through raising you, you will be
- 3:57Speaker 1: a man. That's all I want you to be. And
- 3:59Speaker 1: he never cared what I did for a living, and
- 4:01Speaker 1: it never made a difference to him. You're going to
- 4:04Speaker 1: be a man. Manhood is difficult. Now, ladies, just listening
- 4:07Speaker 1: to this, I'm not saying womanhood ain't. I don't know
- 4:11Speaker 1: what it takes to be a woman, so you know,
- 4:14Speaker 1: but I do know exactly what it takes to be
- 4:16Speaker 1: a man. So you know, sometimes when you talk to
- 4:19Speaker 1: people on the radio, you have to preface things because
- 4:22Speaker 1: people are just go he trying to make it look
- 4:24Speaker 1: like womanhood. Ain't. No, That's not what I'm doing. I'm
- 4:27Speaker 1: just talking to men today to explain to them that
- 4:30Speaker 1: deigned by their self and struggling trying to figure this
- 4:33Speaker 1: thing out, that you are not alone in your quest
- 4:36Speaker 1: for manhood. That is difficult, but I gotta tell you,
- 4:41Speaker 1: man manhood is that kind of difficult, and it becomes
- 4:46Speaker 1: even more compounded if a young boy does not have
- 4:49Speaker 1: a male role model. I've said it a thousand times.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I'll say it again. A young boy without a male
- 4:56Speaker 1: role model is like an explorer without a map. While
- 5:01Speaker 1: I have a suggestion for everybody that's struggling with manhood
- 5:04Speaker 1: and all of the men out there that are men,
- 5:06Speaker 1: This messages for all of us, and it's for me too.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You know. I was listening to Joyce Myers the other
- 5:12Speaker 1: day and she made a statement. She said, sometimes you
- 5:17Speaker 1: gotta do the right thing even when it feels wrong.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You know, one of the difficulties of manhood is pure
- 5:26Speaker 1: pressure and the misguided principles of manhood. See what God
- 5:33Speaker 1: wants us to be as men and what we believe
- 5:37Speaker 1: manhood is sometimes two different things. Give you an example.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I wrote this book for women, right and I was
- 5:45Speaker 1: telling them the three ways that a man shows his love,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and I call him three pas. We profess, we protect,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and we provide. Every man who is a man, that's
- 5:56Speaker 1: how he exhibits love. When I talkie talk key comforting
- 6:00Speaker 1: with our great nurturists. But when it comes down to
- 6:03Speaker 1: to it, what we all want to do, what is
- 6:06Speaker 1: in our day DNA, is to profess our love for
- 6:09Speaker 1: something you as a woman, to protect you as a woman,
- 6:12Speaker 1: and to provide for you as a woman. That's in
- 6:14Speaker 1: our DNA. Now, sometimes that gets messed up. And I'll
- 6:18Speaker 1: give you an example. Sometimes when a boy doesn't have
- 6:22Speaker 1: the proper, real role model in his life, he takes
- 6:25Speaker 1: that principle of love that we all possessing us every man,
- 6:28Speaker 1: the professing part, the protecting and in the providing part,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and we misplay it. That's why gangs exist. Gangs exist
- 6:37Speaker 1: off those three principles. What's the first thing a gang
- 6:40Speaker 1: member do. He professed, he claim a hood. That's the
- 6:44Speaker 1: first thing you do. This is my neighborhood. I'm Duce's trade,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I'm triple h, I'm due de Duke, I'm purple, I'm red,
- 6:51Speaker 1: I'm blue. The first thing they do is claim that's professing.
- 6:55Speaker 1: That's how we show our love. But it's misguided though.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Now we're professing something that ain't even good for us.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Your hood, your game, your click now, guess what Now
- 7:06Speaker 1: we got to protect it. So now as a protection
- 7:11Speaker 1: part of our love, here we go. You come down here,
- 7:14Speaker 1: We're gonna do this to you. You go over there,
- 7:17Speaker 1: they're gonna do that to you. You protect your hood,
- 7:20Speaker 1: This your turf, This is all you got. You ain't
- 7:22Speaker 1: nobody coming down here with blue owned. Can'tybody come over
- 7:24Speaker 1: here with red on. You can't come over here with
- 7:26Speaker 1: purple on. You can't come over here with black and
- 7:27Speaker 1: gold on. And we and we protect that because that's
- 7:31Speaker 1: in our DNA. And then what's the third thing we provide?
- 7:35Speaker 1: So guess what the game need money? Guess what we do.
- 7:38Speaker 1: We're selling drugs, we're selling women, we're selling guns. It
- 7:44Speaker 1: go back to the same thing. Man, I don't know
- 7:46Speaker 1: how God gave it to me that way when I
- 7:48Speaker 1: was writing a book, but he showed it to me
- 7:50Speaker 1: along the way. That's how men love well. When you
- 7:53Speaker 1: don't have a role model in your life. Guess what
- 7:55Speaker 1: now that love is misplaced, it's misguided, it's off track.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Ain't no man told you that. Really you're supposed to
- 8:01Speaker 1: take this love and give it to a woman. You're
- 8:03Speaker 1: really supposed to profess, protect and provide for a woman,
- 8:07Speaker 1: not your gang set. Now you professing your hood, wrapping
- 8:11Speaker 1: a color. You're protecting your territory, shooting people driving by
- 8:15Speaker 1: coming over you on your street, and then you provide.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Now you are here selling drugs and guns for the
- 8:19Speaker 1: same thing. When a boy does not have a male
- 8:22Speaker 1: role model, he has a misguided way of looking at manhood.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Here's a deal. See, God created all of us in
- 8:31Speaker 1: his image. That means He's put some of our DNA
- 8:35Speaker 1: in him. That's why it's in your DNA to profess, protect,
- 8:39Speaker 1: and provide because guess what, that's what God do for us,
- 8:42Speaker 1: because we His children. I'm just talking to men right now.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I'm just telling you man, I had to wake up
- 8:49Speaker 1: about five years ago. I wasn't doing what God wanted
- 8:52Speaker 1: me to do, and then he shook me he said, Man,
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring about some changes in your life. I'm
- 8:58Speaker 1: gonna cause some things to happen that's gonna put you
- 9:01Speaker 1: in a position. And this time you're gonna listen to me,
- 9:04Speaker 1: because if you don't, you're gonna keep living in this
- 9:06Speaker 1: pain you've been in. But you put yourself in this pain.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I owe no blame to no one else but myself.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Please know, I know that. And that's how you really
- 9:16Speaker 1: get to manhood, when you figure out what you hadn't
- 9:18Speaker 1: done wrong. You can't blame this on none of your
- 9:20Speaker 1: exes because you're a man. You can't go my ex
- 9:23Speaker 1: dear this. No, No, you're a man, pardner. You got
- 9:26Speaker 1: to take responsibility for yours and yours alone. If you
- 9:30Speaker 1: got kids, you got to get to them some kind
- 9:33Speaker 1: of way. Write him a letter, send them the money.
- 9:36Speaker 1: If she won't let you see it, for the money, whatever,
- 9:38Speaker 1: send them money to a mama. Do what you're supposed
- 9:41Speaker 1: to do as a man. Do what God want you
- 9:43Speaker 1: to do, man, because he's not letting us off the
- 9:46Speaker 1: hook for what we're supposed to be just because you
- 9:49Speaker 1: ain't doing it. And if you do it, you turn
- 9:51Speaker 1: your life around. Just houlding that the fellas today that
- 9:54Speaker 1: saw sorry about that. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, boys
- 10:03Speaker 1: and girls. Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning show Man,
- 10:07Speaker 1: Greatest Morning Showing Up. Today's show is dedicated to all

- 13:40Speaker 1: funny right you're listening show? All right, here we go
- 13:46Speaker 1: with something funny, Steve Um personality is more important than
- 13:51Speaker 1: looks to most people. While a lot of us are
- 13:54Speaker 1: overly concerned about how we look, especially when it comes
- 13:57Speaker 1: to finding a mate, it turns out looks really aren't everything.
- 14:01Speaker 1: In fact, a new poll finds that ninety two percent
- 14:05Speaker 1: ninety two percent of people say they prefer a partner
- 14:08Speaker 1: with a good personality to one with a great body. Overall,
- 14:12Speaker 1: eighty one percent of people say they're looking for a
- 14:14Speaker 1: partner with a good personality, while seventy six percent want
- 14:18Speaker 1: one with a sense of humor. There you go, Steve
- 14:21Speaker 1: with a positive attitude and seventy three percent open mindedness
- 14:25Speaker 1: sixty two percent also important characteristic for a mate. So
- 14:29Speaker 1: I gotta ask you, Steve, I gotta ask Junior and Tommy.
- 14:32Speaker 1: You guys chime into what's the most important thing you're
- 14:35Speaker 1: looking for in your significant other? Well, and really how
- 14:38Speaker 1: important our looks. Personality is critical, it's absolutely critical. But
- 14:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna need you to be cute too though, thank you. Yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 1: because of what I'm not going to be doing is
- 14:49Speaker 1: sitting up in here with your glass. Just called you
- 14:51Speaker 1: nice because you got a nice person Yeah I'm not that. Yeah,
- 14:55Speaker 1: I got you nice, but you know you you're you're
- 14:58Speaker 1: you're horrid. That used to be the standard. If someone
- 15:01Speaker 1: wasn't cute that you'd ask him are they cute? You say, well,
- 15:04Speaker 1: they have a nice personality. I mean it was ugly,
- 15:09Speaker 1: that's all that meant right away. But now I would
- 15:13Speaker 1: prefer personality over you said a great body. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:18Speaker 1: because my body got flaws. I can accept the flaw
- 15:21Speaker 1: on your body. There ain't no problem. A couple of flaws,
- 15:24Speaker 1: you know, so I ain't worried about that. And it
- 15:28Speaker 1: was nice in the face though. Yeah, just roll rolling
- 15:33Speaker 1: over every morning look looking at that. No, no, no,
- 15:38Speaker 1: I don't need something now until death do us part? Yeah,
- 15:42Speaker 1: kill me until you die, baby, Yeah, yeah, I'm not
- 15:48Speaker 1: gonna do is die every morning you wake up? Well,
- 15:51Speaker 1: I mean yeah, I mean for you out of make
- 15:55Speaker 1: up to resemble the person in makeup. I mean that, okay.
- 16:00Speaker 1: So we know men are visual. We got that. Men
- 16:03Speaker 1: are very visual. Women are too, surely, okay, and I
- 16:06Speaker 1: wish that's what That's what I was coming to. And
- 16:09Speaker 1: you guys, all of you guys, well, with the exception
- 16:12Speaker 1: of Tommy, you guys say you're not cute, So where
- 16:15Speaker 1: are we now? No, I'm not We still when them
- 16:19Speaker 1: not cute and I'm just cute? What what? What what? Tommy?
- 16:23Speaker 1: You're not You're not gonna make me ugly. I'm not
- 16:27Speaker 1: going that way, Tommy. I okay, okay, okay, Tommy, let
- 16:33Speaker 1: me ask you a question. List your flaws. Damn my flower.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You might take a minute. Talk a most Tommy. Come on, boy,
- 16:45Speaker 1: my shoulders ain't like nice. You know ham strings? Of
- 16:51Speaker 1: course it's gone to hell. See your shoulders ain't ain't good.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Ain't like my shoulders. Now you got brought you wide?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Now you wide? I ain't got that. I ain't got that.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I'm shoulders, okay, I'm shoulders from star with their shape.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Come on, so far it's your shoulders of the star
- 17:11Speaker 1: with their stage shoulders and ship. Come on, listen first
- 17:21Speaker 1: of all, I'm not short, but short can be sexy,
- 17:23Speaker 1: so let's not let's not kill that. Okay, you don't
- 17:26Speaker 1: have to be tall to be sexy. Now, I'm not tall,
- 17:29Speaker 1: but I'm not short. No, women don't have to be
- 17:32Speaker 1: tall to be sex right. No, I'm not telling about women.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I'm telling about people period. There's women, yeah, people, there's
- 17:42Speaker 1: there's short they're short sexy women, and there's good looking
- 17:49Speaker 1: short of men. What I'm talking about? What we were?
- 17:54Speaker 1: We're just at the shoulders. Now, go ahead, go ahead,
- 17:56Speaker 1: finish your shoulders. What else wrong? It's another star? Lower
- 18:02Speaker 1: back ain't where it ought to be. Got how on it?
- 18:04Speaker 1: You know? It's just it's just something. You can't see
- 18:06Speaker 1: your lower back because of your other flu shot. It's
- 18:10Speaker 1: another Does he need help, Steve, because okay, here we behind.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I don't have a high behind. I don't claim you
- 18:20Speaker 1: can't see your lower back. If time when you put
- 18:22Speaker 1: your belt on, if your belt buckle is lower than
- 18:27Speaker 1: the top of your ass, what do you think that's
- 18:30Speaker 1: from them? Just bad belts, bad built, bad built. It's
- 18:38Speaker 1: what you bad belts. Okay, Tommy, Tommy, Timmy, let me
- 18:42Speaker 1: help you with you with your shortcomings. Your flaws is
- 18:45Speaker 1: your shoulders. You got a high ass, your short and
- 18:48Speaker 1: your profile file. That's all of me. What is your time?
- 18:55Speaker 1: What do you mean profile? Yeah, I mean looking at
- 18:57Speaker 1: when he turns to the side. I never noticed. Okay, ladies,
- 19:02Speaker 1: look at me from the side. Okay, yeah, no, no,
- 19:07Speaker 1: do you see anything he talking about? What are you saying?
- 19:12Speaker 1: You don't see a jaw line? I don't chin runs

- 25:24Speaker 1: trying to stop my man. Look him, man, instead of
- 25:27Speaker 1: being concerned about what you know, what I'm saying and
- 25:29Speaker 1: what I'm doing, Man, you might need to step back

- 25:33Speaker 1: the first place, and water in that home boy. And
- 25:36Speaker 1: I ain't what I said. I ain't got to do
- 25:38Speaker 1: with it, all right, I said winning lest man, y'all,
- 25:41Speaker 1: y'all put that on me like it's my fault. I

- 26:12Speaker 1: else to you. You can't sell me. I'm fool with you.

- 27:09Speaker 1: y'all got me thinking about the people against custom. You know.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I don't say no bad words like that. Yeah to
- 27:15Speaker 1: me like I was. But that was a good one, dog,
- 27:18Speaker 1: all right, brother? That right there was a good one. Man.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Then the album is coming out, man, Why now you
- 27:23Speaker 1: got it? You gotta least get a single to me, man,
- 27:25Speaker 1: so I can check you out. Yea, I got some

- 27:30Speaker 1: I got you, man, no matter how and no matter
- 27:33Speaker 1: how to the No Rappers Customs Association trying to point
- 27:36Speaker 1: that blame and at what these rappers is doing. Man,
- 27:39Speaker 1: it's a lot to have way for the rappers? Did it? Now?
- 27:41Speaker 1: Are you right about that? Now? You know what I mean?
- 27:43Speaker 1: That's real talk. That's real talk. Let me ask you
- 27:46Speaker 1: one more thing, baby, what is the baddest radio show
- 27:50Speaker 1: in the land. Yeah, the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Man,
- 27:55Speaker 1: you already know, and you got me on it too,
- 27:57Speaker 1: till Steve, I say, what's handling? Man? That's how prapper
- 28:00Speaker 1: right there? All right, Thank you guys, coming up at
- 28:04Speaker 1: the top of the hour. We'll have some entertainment and
- 28:06Speaker 1: national news for you right after this. You're listening, So Steve, Now,
- 28:15Speaker 1: so what does this? Women always beat men at arguments?
- 28:18Speaker 1: We know this, but they do because they do things
- 28:23Speaker 1: that men don't do and are incapable of doing. Here's
- 28:28Speaker 1: some reason that you'll never win an argument. How about
- 28:33Speaker 1: the first one you need to understand? And above all else,
- 28:37Speaker 1: they don't forget what nothing? They don't forget A dog gone?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Now you let it go? She said, I forgive you,
- 28:54Speaker 1: but she banked all that information. Women have the biggest
- 28:59Speaker 1: heart drive in their brains ever created. Ibm ain't got
- 29:04Speaker 1: nothing on a woman's hard drive, baby with sports staff. Yeah,
- 29:10Speaker 1: you can't erase their hard drive. It's locked in forever.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Remember your nineteen ninety eight that when I got that
- 29:17Speaker 1: number your pocket, it was kind of number number that
- 29:19Speaker 1: your member here was another You know what we do?
- 29:24Speaker 1: We delete information? Right? Yeah? Oh you deleted the men
- 29:27Speaker 1: get it off our phone, computer everything. They don't. They
- 29:32Speaker 1: don't delete. Why that's stupid. It's called evidence, right, baby,
- 29:39Speaker 1: I'll tell you another thing they got. They got a
- 29:42Speaker 1: picture or ever, yes, even if it ain't a photograph,
- 29:49Speaker 1: it's a mental image they got you. You know, women
- 29:55Speaker 1: come off and don't say here's another one, and don't
- 29:59Speaker 1: say you didn't say something. You're right, you didn't say it,
- 30:04Speaker 1: but your text And guess what you're dumb ass forgot here?
- 30:12Speaker 1: It is right here, I got it. I saved you.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Here's another reason women always win, because women don't care
- 30:20Speaker 1: if you answer or pick up their phone. You don't.
- 30:23Speaker 1: They don't. You know, they don't. You know why because
- 30:26Speaker 1: all you're gonna find it's pictures of shoes recipes, baby,
- 30:31Speaker 1: pictures and half stocks. You're right with me. No ever
- 30:37Speaker 1: did on the damn no, no, ain't look at it
- 30:46Speaker 1: three seven six five. Here's the other reason you can't
- 30:52Speaker 1: win an argument because they can see who you call
- 30:56Speaker 1: it on your phone from a mile away. They can.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I don't give damn what kind of protective screen you
- 31:03Speaker 1: got on that? The black one that you can't see
- 31:06Speaker 1: from the side, So who is she? Scary? Here's another
- 31:18Speaker 1: reason you can't remember. You can't be winning argument. Why
- 31:23Speaker 1: because they remember exact dates, exact dates, with the details
- 31:33Speaker 1: with your head, what you was eating, Yeah, what car
- 31:38Speaker 1: you was in, Yeah? Where you was sitting. I can't
- 31:45Speaker 1: breathe it out, Jay, breathe it out. Another reason you
- 31:49Speaker 1: can't win argument with a woman You're ready without even
- 31:54Speaker 1: setting it up. They lie for each other. They don't
- 32:05Speaker 1: have none of that caller, where was I yesterday? At
- 32:09Speaker 1: my house? Immediately we were watching we have to we're
- 32:16Speaker 1: watching the Atlanta Housewise, I gotta call Jay Hunk. I
- 32:23Speaker 1: was with you and I got to say something. And
- 32:27Speaker 1: here's the other reason you can't win because they have
- 32:31Speaker 1: one put down that no man has ever been able
- 32:37Speaker 1: to top. Here is to put down they use stop
- 32:40Speaker 1: acting like some little old girl, except they don't use girl.
- 32:48Speaker 1: She just called me just after that. You're shaking to
- 32:53Speaker 1: the car. He can't. You can't come back like right now,
- 32:58Speaker 1: you just stuck on that. Yeah, stop acting like some
- 33:01Speaker 1: little old girls. But they don't say girls. But they
- 33:04Speaker 1: don't say girls. Now you up in here all you
- 33:06Speaker 1: hear that? We went again. Now argument you ain't got
- 33:10Speaker 1: no more points? What actually you was winning the argument down?
- 33:20Speaker 1: We know how to shut it down. Wow? Man? Yeah?
- 33:26Speaker 1: Why he was like, because there's no comeback. You got
- 33:29Speaker 1: no comeback. But let me tell you something, ladies, Yeah,
- 33:32Speaker 1: you should never say that to your man. I've never
- 33:37Speaker 1: because because words cut really deep. And once you cut
- 33:42Speaker 1: a man so deep, how do you fix that? And
- 33:46Speaker 1: I know women who have used that on their man
- 33:49Speaker 1: a lot, And I'm telling you it's hard to come
- 33:52Speaker 1: back for that, because men I come back for that
- 33:55Speaker 1: is well, okay, I'll tell you what I know. Somebody
- 34:00Speaker 1: don't think I'm a little girl. Yeah, because what that's
- 34:04Speaker 1: that's the ultimate insult for man. You just a little
- 34:08Speaker 1: old girl. Man can't come back from. Then when you
- 34:15Speaker 1: do that to a man, you damnage When you say
- 34:17Speaker 1: tom ouch, ouch. Yeah, that one hurt right there. That's
- 34:29Speaker 1: how your woman really feel about you. What's bad is
- 34:32Speaker 1: when you see a guy get done in public like oh,
- 34:38Speaker 1: I don't when you see his lady do that to
- 34:41Speaker 1: him like that hurt women see that women women don't like. Yeah,
- 34:49Speaker 1: oh man, We'll come right back with more of the
- 34:51Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening Steve
- 34:56Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, Jay's here. Let's go, ladies
- 35:01Speaker 1: and gentlemen. I bring you this with the great pleasure
- 35:05Speaker 1: A man that murders hits relationships and friendships Jay Anthony Brown, Wow. Wow.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Johnny Gill wrote a song called Solo Woman, Solo Woman,
- 35:17Speaker 1: great song that was underset when he did a video.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Great song my song. Along with my buddy Ralph Harris
- 35:24Speaker 1: Hawkins Junior, we wrote someone Stole My Woman, so check
- 35:27Speaker 1: it out. Who stole my woman? Stole my woman? Someone
- 35:37Speaker 1: stole my woman? No, no, no, we had a strong connection,
- 35:45Speaker 1: but sometimes I act a kind of me. I wouldn't
- 35:49Speaker 1: show you a function and I forgot to meet the
- 35:58Speaker 1: haters watching over me because in relation ting yeah, and
- 36:08Speaker 1: baby a w southing bland and now you get me
- 36:17Speaker 1: crying right, brother, bad man, you're no longer man. So
- 36:32Speaker 1: many and Sowell woman, I'm gonna sta stay and mother
- 36:37Speaker 1: was believe I'm awaywell, who be taking so full? So
- 36:45Speaker 1: many and so whom. I'm gonna have the wire that
- 36:49Speaker 1: mother believe I'm every man say when star, somebody win
- 37:02Speaker 1: Stones Woman, I'm gonna tell Stone woman may win so much.
- 37:12Speaker 1: I want to have to push him without mother believe
- 37:16Speaker 1: I'm a didn't it super flow time? So many so much,
- 37:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to ware believe I'm heavy man, I'm
- 37:31Speaker 1: blinding who whoa whoa sto woman? Somebody win Stone my woman,
- 37:41Speaker 1: you gonna get after you drinking soup for more. I'm
- 37:50Speaker 1: oblige you in both Fie job, I'll be a days
- 37:55Speaker 1: by tomorrow night Baby, special game makes me here of
- 38:00Speaker 1: this crazy ignorant show Steve Harvey Morning Show right after
- 38:04Speaker 1: this you're listening to show. Okay, Steve Clo, Chief Love Officer.
- 38:12Speaker 1: This young lady's name is Cara L. Kara L. She's
- 38:15Speaker 1: out of Atlanta and she sent in an email to
- 38:18Speaker 1: Steve Harvey after Sam. Okay, uh no, she didn't mention
- 38:23Speaker 1: her age, but by the questions, perhaps you can tell
- 38:26Speaker 1: she said Steve. This is what I would like to
- 38:28Speaker 1: ask mister Harvey, because I don't know what's going on
- 38:32Speaker 1: with me and my ex boyfriend number one, Steve, Do
- 38:36Speaker 1: men have serious conversations with women that they don't really
- 38:40Speaker 1: care about or just want to sleep with? That's her
- 38:43Speaker 1: first question. You want to deal with that with women?
- 38:47Speaker 1: With the women or just want to sleep with or
- 38:53Speaker 1: just want to sleep with. Yeah, man have serious conversations
- 38:58Speaker 1: with women that they don't care about. Yes, yeah, we're
- 39:04Speaker 1: gonna sleep with you. We don't, right, And do women
- 39:08Speaker 1: they have serious conversation with women that they just want
- 39:11Speaker 1: to sleep with. Yes, that's the most serious conversation you
- 39:14Speaker 1: gonna have my whole hearts. That's a big one. Because
- 39:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to sleep with you. There is no limits
- 39:21Speaker 1: to that. So, yes, men have conversations with women that
- 39:25Speaker 1: they don't care about. You can have a friend and
- 39:28Speaker 1: you will have serious conversations with women that you just
- 39:31Speaker 1: want to sleep with. Yes, very serious. She's young. I
- 39:37Speaker 1: love you, but yeah, no, I love you. Yes, yes
- 39:43Speaker 1: that's what you girl. He said he loved me. Yes, girl, girl,
- 39:49Speaker 1: he said he loved me. And you can get it
- 39:52Speaker 1: all the whole time in this session. Yes, can get
- 39:57Speaker 1: the hall of again. Do you know what we him
- 40:00Speaker 1: stand in the session? Don't can't wait for you to
- 40:03Speaker 1: get out of him? Yeah, How do men just up
- 40:08Speaker 1: and leave after a long serious relationship because men don't
- 40:14Speaker 1: do closure, Men do not need closure. It's over women
- 40:19Speaker 1: need closure, most men don't. We can just up and
- 40:23Speaker 1: leave because this is it. So the best way to
- 40:26Speaker 1: get over you is with another you. Yeah. Nah, that
- 40:31Speaker 1: doesn't mean he ain't somewhere hurting and bleeding on the inside.
- 40:35Speaker 1: He can be internally bleeding. Oh, he can be crushed,
- 40:38Speaker 1: he can be jacked up. But if if we're moving on,
- 40:41Speaker 1: we're moving on. Because to go back and talk to
- 40:43Speaker 1: this with you is to bring up an old scab,
- 40:46Speaker 1: and that's called closure. We're nothing to do that. Well.
- 40:49Speaker 1: She also had a question about closure, so I think
- 40:51Speaker 1: you answered it. She said, you say, men do not
- 40:54Speaker 1: give closure, and she wants to know why don't men
- 40:57Speaker 1: get closure? For what? It's old it's the reason men
- 41:00Speaker 1: don't give closures, caused it's over man, the high coming,
- 41:04Speaker 1: the whynot. It's gonna take us into a deeper level
- 41:07Speaker 1: of conversation. We don't need to have. I don't want
- 41:11Speaker 1: you no more. But why See now, now you Finn
- 41:16Speaker 1: get your feelings hurt and you could possibly hurt my feelings.
- 41:22Speaker 1: See so, cause once I tell you what I really
- 41:25Speaker 1: think and then you tell me what you really think,
- 41:27Speaker 1: now both of us sitting there hurt, and I ain't
- 41:29Speaker 1: gonna be able to take what you said nothing. Yeah,
- 41:32Speaker 1: you didn't have to tell me because I was small.
- 41:35Speaker 1: You didn't have to say that too, right close. Yeah,
- 41:41Speaker 1: I told you one that's good and then you spawned
- 41:45Speaker 1: on me and said it's caused you small. Now that
- 41:48Speaker 1: right there. See, that's why we're not fitting to do closure.
- 41:52Speaker 1: I gave you cause because the sex ain't good. But
- 41:54Speaker 1: the sex ain't good because you're too small. God dug
- 41:57Speaker 1: Hold up all right? And her last question for you, Steve,
- 42:01Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, is if a man leaves and keeps
- 42:06Speaker 1: coming back, what does that mean? That means gullible and
- 42:11Speaker 1: you allow him to return to the scene of the crime.
- 42:15Speaker 1: We leave because we don't won't you. We just wanted
- 42:18Speaker 1: something from you, So if we keep coming back, it's
- 42:21Speaker 1: because we just won't what you got. We don't want you,
- 42:26Speaker 1: We just won't what you've got. And if you gullible
- 42:28Speaker 1: enough to let us keep coming back. Then, bam you
- 42:32Speaker 1: something wrong with you? If you don't think that much
- 42:35Speaker 1: of yourself, then why should we answered your question? Why
- 42:41Speaker 1: Steve question? I know I'm telling the truth. Now you
- 42:46Speaker 1: may not like the truth, but it is the truth.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Why that ain't right, Steve Harby? I ain't say it
- 42:53Speaker 1: was right. I said it was true. All right. Up next,
- 42:57Speaker 1: nephew with the prank phone called for today. Right after this,
- 43:01Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Morning Show coming up at the
- 43:06Speaker 1: top of the hour. Right about four minutes after, it's
- 43:08Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. My subject today is my baby won't
- 43:13Speaker 1: stop cussing. Oh my god. We're gonna get into that. Yeah,
- 43:28Speaker 1: we're gonna get into that. Right after the nephew gives
- 43:31Speaker 1: us today's praying phone call. What you have for us today? Now,
- 43:34Speaker 1: you're not a good home school teacher? Who are you
- 43:37Speaker 1: talking about? You? You? You're not a good home school teacher.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Let's go, let's go. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 43:50Speaker 1: a Nikki. How you doing? Nikki? I am, I'm mister Daniels.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I'm calling from the E Learning Department. Hey, all right,
- 44:00Speaker 1: your daughter is Jasmine? Correct sixth grader. Yes, yes, all right,
- 44:06Speaker 1: and you've been, um, you guys have been corresponding back
- 44:09Speaker 1: and forth with Miss, her teacher. Yes, all right, So
- 44:13Speaker 1: here's my I'm calling. Uh. Miss has brought some things
- 44:17Speaker 1: to my attention. Uh, Nikki, if you don't mind, who's
- 44:20Speaker 1: who's actually helping Jasmine with her schoolwork? That would be
- 44:26Speaker 1: every day? What a task? All right? So I hate
- 44:30Speaker 1: to be a bearer of bad news, but let me
- 44:32Speaker 1: let you know what's going on. No, that's not anything
- 44:36Speaker 1: wrong with her computer at all. I've spoken with Miss
- 44:39Speaker 1: several times about Jasmine and we've just bawled it down
- 44:42Speaker 1: to whoever's helping her with her work is just not
- 44:47Speaker 1: doing a good job. You should not be the person
- 44:50Speaker 1: that's helping her with her schoolwork. Okay, hold on that
- 44:53Speaker 1: what you mean I shouldn't be helping her. That's my child,
- 44:57Speaker 1: I understand. I'm saying, whoever is teaching her is not
- 45:02Speaker 1: doing a good job as a teacher, you know, And
- 45:05Speaker 1: this could affect Jasmine to the point where from the
- 45:07Speaker 1: looks of what I've seen and what's been turned in,
- 45:11Speaker 1: I truly don't see Jasmine going to the seventh grade.
- 45:14Speaker 1: I mean, this is this is is there anybody else
- 45:16Speaker 1: there that can help Jasmine with her work? No, she
- 45:19Speaker 1: got she got me what's wrong for her work? We
- 45:22Speaker 1: got to say because I just taught to her, and
- 45:25Speaker 1: she could have told me this, what's what? What? What's
- 45:27Speaker 1: the subject? What's the problem? Well, it's all, yes, it is, yes,
- 45:34Speaker 1: it is. What's the problem. What's what's the problem? Give
- 45:37Speaker 1: me the assignment because I'm I've been working with her,
- 45:40Speaker 1: so what's the problem. Everything is coming back. I think
- 45:44Speaker 1: the last paper I looked at she got a forty
- 45:47Speaker 1: five on it. I looked at some math work it
- 45:50Speaker 1: was a sixty two. I mean, if you are the
- 45:53Speaker 1: person that's teaching her over there, you're just not good
- 45:57Speaker 1: at that. So you all and you could get miss
- 46:01Speaker 1: on the phone too, because I don't. Y'all don't got
- 46:03Speaker 1: my baby work. And then she got a problems. She
- 46:05Speaker 1: can come tease the child. She can open up the
- 46:08Speaker 1: schools and get them back, because there's no opening the
- 46:12Speaker 1: schools at this point right now, there's no opening of
- 46:14Speaker 1: the schools. So she got a problem. If she got
- 46:18Speaker 1: a problem, then she can come teach my child. That's
- 46:20Speaker 1: what she's supposed to be doing anyway. Okay, But The
- 46:23Speaker 1: problem is right now, you're the person that's at home teaching.
- 46:28Speaker 1: You're the person that's at home teaching the girl, and
- 46:31Speaker 1: it's not helping. So I don't want Jasmine to not
- 46:34Speaker 1: make it to the seventh grade. But at this point,
- 46:36Speaker 1: that's what it's looking like. Well, look, if I got
- 46:39Speaker 1: to teach it this, she's gonna learn it how I
- 46:41Speaker 1: learned it. Okay, we're just math. Doesn't do math. They
- 46:44Speaker 1: got these kids doing though. She's gonna learn how five
- 46:47Speaker 1: times five twenty five. She's gonna learn her timea okay,
- 46:49Speaker 1: but we can't learn. Man, you're undoing what we've taught already.
- 46:55Speaker 1: You can't take them back. Y'all need to teach it
- 46:57Speaker 1: to y'all need to teach a better way. I send
- 46:59Speaker 1: my child to school for this. Okay, I'm not getting paid.
- 47:02Speaker 1: I gotta cook, I gotta clean on me here with
- 47:04Speaker 1: these kids. I'm mean, I'm a mother, throw all these
- 47:07Speaker 1: kids and my husband. I don't have time for all
- 47:09Speaker 1: of this. So if the teacher, well, let me say this,
- 47:13Speaker 1: miss Nick. Let me let me say this, Miss Nick.
- 47:16Speaker 1: I don't have time for a parent not realizing that
- 47:19Speaker 1: they're not a good teacher. I don't have time to that. Whoever,
- 47:23Speaker 1: who are you, whoever you are, eat learning department, whatever
- 47:27Speaker 1: you need to come eat, learn my child sauce. I'm
- 47:29Speaker 1: not doing it right. Then y'all need to come get
- 47:31Speaker 1: over here and do this mother work. Man. If you
- 47:35Speaker 1: go in to the seventh grade, if I gotta come up,
- 47:37Speaker 1: does when it when the school open back old church,
- 47:40Speaker 1: you will see me. We'll go this we got okay,
- 47:43Speaker 1: we're going on. You are not a good homeschool teacher.
- 47:47Speaker 1: That's the baby. My child is going through the seventh grade.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Oh chest, no, who's your print? Who is the print? No? No,
- 47:57Speaker 1: while talking to somebody, my child, what's the seventh grade?
- 48:01Speaker 1: She gonna get this. She getting this works, and y'all
- 48:03Speaker 1: y'all gonna get this work too. I'm not accepting forty
- 48:08Speaker 1: five and sixty twos on papers, ma'am, and gonna let
- 48:11Speaker 1: you your daughter advance to the seventh grade. That's okay,
- 48:15Speaker 1: you're right. I'll check it over. But John need to
- 48:17Speaker 1: go to check and if she no, no, no, no
- 48:20Speaker 1: once once again, you checking it over is the problem.
- 48:24Speaker 1: You're the problem, sir, sir. If she got a problem
- 48:30Speaker 1: once you got a mother first, what's you gotta go
- 48:34Speaker 1: the first. Let to check the work. What's the difference.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Let the tuse to check the work. I'm not calling
- 48:42Speaker 1: you no more. And you hold on. What's your name again?
- 48:45Speaker 1: You're talking to me. My name is mister Dan. Okay,
- 48:48Speaker 1: I'm from the e learning. Okay, I don't give a
- 48:51Speaker 1: damn votes for you. I care the first answers me.
- 48:58Speaker 1: You get off this phone. I'll call so right immediately,
- 49:02Speaker 1: so she could tell me all this stuff you got
- 49:04Speaker 1: to tell me. She don't got to hide behind you.
- 49:06Speaker 1: She could call me directly. So thank you. Listing Davis.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Let me know. Oh it's about to go down. I
- 49:12Speaker 1: don't even dare. I don't care no more. Just school.
- 49:15Speaker 1: If y'all got an issue, when the way I'm teaching,
- 49:17Speaker 1: take your kids back, come teaching the front yard. I'll
- 49:20Speaker 1: open up my dot. You could talk to teach my
- 49:22Speaker 1: child from my five You got a problem with it,
- 49:24Speaker 1: but that's it from right now. I'm all she got.
- 49:26Speaker 1: I'm what she got. I'm the teacher. She gonna learn
- 49:29Speaker 1: it the way I'm teaching her. If y'all got a problem,
- 49:32Speaker 1: y'all got a problem. But she going to the seventh
- 49:34Speaker 1: grade or best believed my baby going to the seventh grade. Okay,
- 49:38Speaker 1: maybe maybe I just maybe I need to talk to Brian,
- 49:41Speaker 1: your husband. Maybe I need to talk to Brian. Oh boy,
- 49:44Speaker 1: what you been talking to me? You been talking to me.
- 49:47Speaker 1: You don't need to talk to him. You can talk
- 49:48Speaker 1: to me. I speak for both of us, So now
- 49:51Speaker 1: talk to me. Yeah, okay, Well I just I spoke
- 49:55Speaker 1: with Brian a couple of days ago, so can't say
- 49:58Speaker 1: nothing to me so as Bran. Okay, okay, but but
- 50:02Speaker 1: you know what what Brian said about this nothing? What
- 50:07Speaker 1: Brian told me to call you. He told me to
- 50:10Speaker 1: prank phone call you. This is nephew Tommy from the
- 50:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Nikki, you just got pranked by
- 50:16Speaker 1: your husband, Brian. These kids been driving me up the
- 50:24Speaker 1: wall out understand this up? These kids driving me? Nigga?
- 50:33Speaker 1: What man? Look, coronavirus gonna have to see me after it?
- 50:43Speaker 1: Is this too much? I decided drinking? Oh lord, co
- 50:47Speaker 1: get these kids. Tell me one more thing, baby, it's
- 50:49Speaker 1: twenty twenty. Tell me what is the baddest and I
- 50:51Speaker 1: mean the baddest radio show in the land. It's the
- 50:55Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning shown to seven grade my baby five
- 51:06Speaker 1: twenty five. Okay, oh this new man. If y'all doing it,
- 51:10Speaker 1: if I've gotten to her for that, she's a damn teacher.
- 51:14Speaker 1: She posted to be teaching. Oh, my baby going to
- 51:16Speaker 1: seven grade when I come down there, seven grade? All right,
- 51:24Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Coming up the Strawberry Letter for today.
- 51:29Speaker 1: This subject, Steve, is crazy. You're gonna love this letter,
- 51:32Speaker 1: h The subject is my baby won't stop cussin. Taylor
- 51:38Speaker 1: made for you. She needs to be Yeah, she needs

- 51:49Speaker 1: in JUNI. All right, we'll get into the letter coming

- 51:56Speaker 1: is my baby won't stop cussin. Right after this, you're

- 52:04Speaker 1: And if you need advice on relationships, dating, work, sex, parenting,
- 52:08Speaker 1: and more, please please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve
- 52:12Speaker 1: Harvey FM and click submit Strawberry Letter. All right, we
- 52:17Speaker 1: could be reading your letter live on the air, just
- 52:19Speaker 1: like we're gonna read this one right here right now.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Buggle up, hold on tight, We got it for you. Here.
- 52:25Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. The subject this letter just
- 52:28Speaker 1: makes me laugh. My baby won't stop cussin. Junior says
- 52:32Speaker 1: it's about him. We'll see. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am
- 52:35Speaker 1: a twenty seven year old married woman with a two
- 52:37Speaker 1: year old son that won't stop cussin recently, whenever he
- 52:43Speaker 1: gets frustrated or upset, he starts cussing. If he falls
- 52:47Speaker 1: down and hurts himself, he cusses. If you tell him no,
- 52:50Speaker 1: he cusses. I assumed he was hearing these cuss words
- 52:54Speaker 1: from my husband because I don't cuss in front of him,
- 52:58Speaker 1: so he is not hearing it from me. My husband
- 53:01Speaker 1: swore to me that he has not been cussing in
- 53:03Speaker 1: front of him either, so I figured the only other
- 53:06Speaker 1: person it could be is my mother in law. I
- 53:09Speaker 1: asked her, and she said, come on, Steve, you gotta
- 53:13Speaker 1: help me with this. She said, here, yeah, I'll cut.
- 53:20Speaker 1: That's what she said. Yeah, she said that because he's
- 53:25Speaker 1: a brat when you're not around. I was shocked. I
- 53:28Speaker 1: couldn't believe that she can't find a way to discipline
- 53:30Speaker 1: him without using foul language. I want my son to
- 53:34Speaker 1: have a relationship with this grandmash, and she's a wonderful woman.
- 53:37Speaker 1: In a lot of ways, but we don't see eye
- 53:39Speaker 1: to eye on this. She says she can't help it
- 53:42Speaker 1: and we should be teaching him to never repeat what
- 53:45Speaker 1: he hears. But he's a two year old and that's
- 53:47Speaker 1: what small children do. I told her that she should
- 53:50Speaker 1: lead by example, but she said when she is babysitting him,
- 53:54Speaker 1: she will do things her way. My husband is stuck
- 53:57Speaker 1: in the middle, and he has said his mom is
- 53:59Speaker 1: sixty and set in her way. So I said let
- 54:02Speaker 1: it go, so I should let it go. He says,
- 54:05Speaker 1: we can teach our son not to cuss when he
- 54:07Speaker 1: is a little older and can understand. I have a
- 54:10Speaker 1: problem with all of this. Yes, his grandma is an
- 54:13Speaker 1: authority figure, but it's my son, so I say we
- 54:16Speaker 1: go by my rules. I don't want my baby cussing
- 54:19Speaker 1: out his teachers, has a daycare. How should I resolve this?
- 54:21Speaker 1: Am I wrong? Please advise? I think you're a little
- 54:24Speaker 1: bit too much on this issue. Okay, your baby's only two,
- 54:30Speaker 1: and I do agree with your husband. I think you
- 54:32Speaker 1: should wait until he's a little older and he can understand.
- 54:35Speaker 1: I know so many kids, little young babies or children
- 54:39Speaker 1: who used to cuss because that's what they see, and
- 54:42Speaker 1: children are sponges. We all know that they repeat what
- 54:45Speaker 1: they see and that's what they do. And you're right.
- 54:48Speaker 1: The mother in law, your husband's mom is set in
- 54:52Speaker 1: her ways, and she says when he's with him, when
- 54:55Speaker 1: when he's with her, then they'll do things her way.
- 54:59Speaker 1: So that's how she puts the hammer down. She cusses
- 55:03Speaker 1: at him, and he probably obeys when she does that.
- 55:06Speaker 1: He knows what she means when he does that, so
- 55:10Speaker 1: when she does that, so I just say, you know,
- 55:13Speaker 1: loosen up just a little bit. Is going to get better.
- 55:16Speaker 1: When he gets older, he'll stop or at least understand
- 55:20Speaker 1: and not do it around you guys. At least you
- 55:23Speaker 1: can be hopeful for that. But yeah, the grandmother's not
- 55:27Speaker 1: gonna change. You. Continue not to cuss in front of
- 55:29Speaker 1: him and let him know every time he does it
- 55:32Speaker 1: that it's wrong. He's only two. He's only two. He's
- 55:36Speaker 1: going to grow and learn things. Don't worry. It's gonna
- 55:39Speaker 1: be all right. He's not gonna be at the daycare
- 55:41Speaker 1: cussing out the teachers and all of that. He's not
- 55:43Speaker 1: gonna do that. So just relax on this issue just
- 55:47Speaker 1: a little bit. He's gonna be fine, okay, Steve, Well, surely, yes.
- 55:53Speaker 1: I disagree with everything you said in this letter. I
- 55:58Speaker 1: hope you don't you know him to give good advice,
- 56:01Speaker 1: But you missed it on this from girl Baby Girl. See, Shirley,
- 56:05Speaker 1: the reason you missed it on this letter just because
- 56:08Speaker 1: you don't cuss. You need a cusso to talk about
- 56:15Speaker 1: a letter that's about cussing. See I'm a cusser, Yes
- 56:20Speaker 1: you are. My father was in the top three greatest
- 56:25Speaker 1: cusses of all time, all through the Civil Rights movement, everything.
- 56:33Speaker 1: My daddy cuss sitting at the counters at Woolworth luncheon cities.
- 56:39Speaker 1: My daddy was cussing Wold Connors with them German shepherds
- 56:43Speaker 1: and them fire holsers. My daddy was cussing. My daddy
- 56:49Speaker 1: got arrested, he was cussing. My daddy came to church
- 56:53Speaker 1: he was cussing. So, Shirley, I'm sorry you missed this latter.
- 56:59Speaker 1: This twenty seven year old lady got this to you.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Old boy that won't stop cussing. When he gets frustrated
- 57:06Speaker 1: or upset, he cussed. I do too, when he falled
- 57:12Speaker 1: down and hurt hisself. He cuss every time. I fall
- 57:17Speaker 1: I could if I tell him no, he cuss. If
- 57:23Speaker 1: Marjorie tells me no, I couldn't. If my mama told
- 57:27Speaker 1: me no, under my brother cut couldn't let her head thought.
- 57:34Speaker 1: So she assumed that these cuss words was coming from
- 57:37Speaker 1: her husband, so she confronted him. He said it wasn't her.
- 57:40Speaker 1: So she got to think, a the only other person
- 57:41Speaker 1: it could be as my mother in law. So I
- 57:44Speaker 1: asked her. Did she cuss around the boy? She said, hell, yeah,
- 57:48Speaker 1: I cuss in front of his little lad because here
- 57:54Speaker 1: brat when you're not around him. So you got upset
- 57:58Speaker 1: and thought he should find that she should find another
- 58:00Speaker 1: way to discipline without using full letter words. She's a
- 58:04Speaker 1: wonderful woman. She's in a lot of ways, but we
- 58:07Speaker 1: don't see why not. She says, I can't help it
- 58:10Speaker 1: that y'all should be teaching him to never repeat what
- 58:12Speaker 1: he is and he's a two year old and that's
- 58:16Speaker 1: what children do. Well, Shirley said in her response that
- 58:23Speaker 1: you've got the light up. He's only two and things
- 58:26Speaker 1: like that. Well, Shirley, we come back. I'm gonna tell
- 58:30Speaker 1: you why I disagree with your statements. As I said,
- 58:35Speaker 1: he cussin all right, I knew you would. We'll come
- 58:41Speaker 1: back with part two of Steve's response at twenty three
- 58:45Speaker 1: after the hour. The subject of the letter is my
- 58:48Speaker 1: baby won't stop cussing? Another will Steve Harvey. We'll get
- 58:52Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 58:58Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Drawberry letter. Subject that my
- 59:01Speaker 1: baby won't stop cussing. Twenty seven year old lady married,
- 59:06Speaker 1: got a little two year old boy to Cusso this
- 59:09Speaker 1: is my baby right now. Would get upset, cuss when
- 59:14Speaker 1: they fall, Cuss when hey don't get his way, cuss
- 59:18Speaker 1: if you tell him, no sport, just cussing. And you
- 59:21Speaker 1: found out that it wasn't a husband. So you went
- 59:24Speaker 1: to the mother in law and said, do you cuss
- 59:25Speaker 1: in front of the baby? Her exact quote to this
- 59:28Speaker 1: woman who wrote the letter, one, Hell, yeah, I cuss
- 59:31Speaker 1: in front of his little lass. That's your favorite line
- 59:33Speaker 1: in this whole letter, in this whole letter, in any
- 59:36Speaker 1: Strawberry letter that we've ever done. Yeah, And uh, you
- 59:41Speaker 1: know you talk to the mother and said, you can't
- 59:44Speaker 1: find another way to discipline him and everything. I don't
- 59:47Speaker 1: want my son using five language. And then you know
- 59:51Speaker 1: you know that your mother in law is a wonderful
- 59:52Speaker 1: woman in a lot of ways, but y'all don't see
- 59:54Speaker 1: eye to app and your grandma. Your mother said that
- 59:58Speaker 1: you should teach the boy to not to repeat what
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: he's heard. And then you said, but he's a two
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: year old and that's what small children do. Well, let
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: me explain something to you. Small children shouldn't be allowed
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: to custom. Why don't you backhand his little last since
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: he cuts? Yeah, that's what happened to me. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: she wants again. Here we go. He y'all see herry
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: non custom? Yeah, I said back what you know? Why?
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: God cuss? Yeah? Oh my god? Backhand the baby cut?
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: You not a customer. You don't have cussing babies to
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: knock his little last out exactly what they do to you. Sureley,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: come to talk about he only two years old. You
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: should wait till he older. Let me tell you something. Cussing,

- 1:15:02Speaker 1: relationships and friendships. Jay Anthony Brown, Wow, Wow, Johnny Gill
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: wrote a song called Solo Woman, Solo Woman, Great song.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: I was underset when he did a video great song
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: my song. Along with my buddy Ralph Harris Hawkins Junior,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: we wrote someone Stole My Woman, so check it out.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Who stole my woman? Stole my woman? Someone tell that
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: stole my woman? No, no, no. We had a strong connection,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: but sometimes I acted kind of me. I wouldn't show
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: you a faction, and I forgot to meet chill the
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: haters watching over me, causing that relational yeah and beating
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: the worst southing bland And now you get me cry
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: right through the breath. Man, You're no longer man. So
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: many stole woman. I'm gonna stacey and mothers believe I'm
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: an every man whom he taking so fullow time, so
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: many and stole. I'm gonna have to wire hi mother
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: believe I'm every man blanding when star somebody whin stone
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: stole a woman. Stolen woman, Yes, so I have to
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: push him believe I'm didn't get super follow time. So
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to ware believe what every man. I'm

- 1:17:47Speaker 1: I'm oblige you in fire all right, coming up, it's
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Steve Harvey and his clothing remarks. You don't want to
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: miss it. At forty nine after the album, you're listening
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we are,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Friday, last break
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: of the week. Actually it's Friday. Yeah, these weeks are
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: flying by. We started this thing. What mid March? March? Yeah, no,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: I mid beginning. Yeah to me, no vacations this summer,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: we didn't have none of that. Yeah, March nineteenth was
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: my last day of taping TV and we just started back.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: So wow, that was tough, man. It's right though. The
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: whole summer is gone. Yeah, spring and summer. Man, I
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: normally take my wife and kids somewhere. That was out.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: That didn't happen everybody. Yeah, yeah, my birthday this summer.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Nothing do you normally be on? What with him? The Mediterranean?
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: But have ye now the ocean don't ever get in it.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: But how about this though, Steve, you don't even hear
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: about Italy having a hard time with the coronavirus anymore.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Like oh no, no, no, no, no, why we have
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: a lot of friends in Italy. They've they've completely recovered
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: just about they steven have cases, but they're back to normal.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: It is open, pre is open, Milan is open. Uh.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: The shipping clothes back out again, everything because they shut
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: the country down, their social distance, they wore their masks,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: they washed their hands, and it wasn't an option, right
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: and it wasn't. That's our problem. That's our problem. You
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: allow every governor to make different decisions across the country. Well, well, now,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: hold on, aunt Tommy. Uh, but he didn't just he
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: didn't let governors make their own decision. He strongly suggested
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: to the Red Dates that they reopened. He never wore
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: a mask, which, as a leader, set the example. So
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: guess what they were talking about. That's my civil rights
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: not to wear a mask, you idiot. And so they
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: turned and then they said that democrats and the left
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: don't want to open back up because they want the
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: economy stay down for political purposes. No, man, it was
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: for health reasons. Man. But the reason you wanted it
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: open was because of political reasons, so you could get
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: the economy stimulated again, because that's what you were running
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: on was a strong economy, but the strong economy is
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: at the expense of lives. We are over one hundred
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: and sixty thousand people gone in this country, and this
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: is America, So just wrap your mind around this number,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: y'all right? And because we don't we mask, Steve, that's
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: why the children aren't in school. This is why our
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: kids earn in school because people would not politicize this
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: whole mask thing. And we let these children down in
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: the spring of summer and they can't go back to
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: school because of that. But President Trump he's insisting that
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: school's open. If you don't open, he won't fund you.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: And the reason he's doing that because he has no
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: children that have to be exposed to corona. Did you
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: get some schools that have really open, Steve and these
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: people already and they in red states many y'all listening, Yes,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: we are. They in red states because them ignorant ass
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: governors is trying to be his all up in his behind,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: trying to make sure that he sees them doing his wishes. Indeed,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: this thing doesn't care about how much money you make.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: It don't care about your position in life. It don't
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: care about your race, creed, or your sexual preference. This
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: is a problem that's facing all of us, and our
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: leadership has failed us miserably. And no, it's not our
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: governor's fault. It's our governor's fault for being led down
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: this dark path by this Republican president who pressed on
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: all of his Republican constituents to follow his lead. And
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: that was wrong of him to make those governors think
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: that they had to do that, because if you don't
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: do what Trump says, then he come after you. And
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: what he did to a lot of these governors was
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: flat out wrong. He forced the opening, he wanted schools
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: to go back in. It was all too soon, and
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: it was all for political reasons. And now this man
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: has the audacity to talk about Joe Biden and talk
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: about he is against God. Are you kidding me? Man?
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: What are you? What are you talking about? That's he's
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: gonna hurt the country. He's gonna hurt God. Man. This
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: man right here, y'all, this man is so unpresidential. Listen
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: to me, Steve Harvey Morning Show listeners, you have to
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: get to the polls. You are the deciding factor period.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I'm listening to all these ball players talk about voting. Man.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: I'm so inspired by these young people, man, because they're serious. Now.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Is he behind in the polls, yes, but let me
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: remind you all four years ago he was behind in
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: the polls too. He wasn't winning nowhere, and he wound
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: up the president. Don't get loved to sleep by these poles.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Damn these poles. Poles don't vote. And you've got to
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: understand that this is a part of voter suppression. What
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: they oftentimes like to do is make you think that
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: the old opponent is so far ahead that you say, well,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: he got it and you stay home. Ain't how this
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: is working this time, man, we have to vote. He's
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: not the right person for this job. And if you
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: think he is, man, it's because you got on blind
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: this man, you're not looking at this thing the right way.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: It's okay to be conservative. I don't have a problem
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: with that, but him, though, he's the guy you want
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: to represent, I find that hard to believe. We vote
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: him November fourth, It's over. It's a rap. Thank you
