- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome its Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Hope you had a great Labor Day weekend with your
- 0:06Speaker 1: family and friends and center. We've got a lot to
- 0:09Speaker 1: talk about, including some shocking new news that deals with
- 0:14Speaker 1: a Comer subpoena of majorcis the Secret Service over a
- 0:19Speaker 1: tip off of the twenty twenty Hunter Biden tax probe interview.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Now, I want you to remind.
- 0:25Speaker 1: People about this because this is something we've gone in
- 0:28Speaker 1: depth with Comber on on this show. We did that
- 0:30Speaker 1: two part series with him. James Comer talked about how
- 0:35Speaker 1: interesting this was that there was a tip off that
- 0:38Speaker 1: you would actually let people know in advance of what
- 0:41Speaker 1: you were trying to gain from them when it comes
- 0:43Speaker 1: to an investigation.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Well, this is something we've discussed at length on Verdict,
- 0:49Speaker 3: which is the allegations from two separate whistleblowers senior career
- 0:54Speaker 3: IRS employees, that the Biden Justice Department the Biden administration
- 1:01Speaker 3: were in effect obstructing justice, that they were blocking for
- 1:05Speaker 3: Hunter Biden, they were preventing any investigation of Joe Biden.
- 1:09Speaker 3: One of the aspects of it is when the investigators
- 1:11Speaker 3: wanted to go and interview Hunter Biden. Now that's a
- 1:14Speaker 3: typical part of an investigation. You go and try and
- 1:16Speaker 3: interview the target of the investigation and see if, frankly,
- 1:21Speaker 3: they'll say something dumb. Well, in this instance, unfortunately, in
- 1:25Speaker 3: the Biden administration, the political higher ups at the Department
- 1:29Speaker 3: of Justice, allegedly according the whistleblowers, gave a heads up
- 1:33Speaker 3: to the Secret Service and said, hey, these guys want
- 1:36Speaker 3: to investigate Hunter and enabled him to prepare. They also
- 1:39Speaker 3: gave heads up to Hunter's lawyers when they wanted to
- 1:42Speaker 3: execute a search warrant on finding documents and evidence of
- 1:47Speaker 3: criminal activity. And so what has happened this week is
- 1:51Speaker 3: is that James Comber and the Housesentatives has subpoena the
- 1:54Speaker 3: Department of Homeland Security and they're seeking documents. They're also
- 1:59Speaker 3: seeking depositions. So there were totally six subpoenas sent on Tuesday,
- 2:04Speaker 3: one directed at Secretary of Mayorcus for documents and the
- 2:07Speaker 3: remaining five for depositions, two to Secret Service officials and
- 2:12Speaker 3: three to DHS officials. So right now, these subpoenas are
- 2:16Speaker 3: not seeking to question Mayorcus directly, but rather people that
- 2:19Speaker 3: report to Mayorcus. But the entire focus of it is
- 2:24Speaker 3: to what extent is the Biden administration blocking using government
- 2:28Speaker 3: resources to protect Hunter Biden. And remember, the critical question
- 2:32Speaker 3: is to protect Joe Biden from investigation. And this is
- 2:36Speaker 3: yet another example of the only source of this investigation
- 2:41Speaker 3: going forward being the Republican House of Representatives because the
- 2:45Speaker 3: Democrat Senate has zero interest in finding out what happened
- 2:48Speaker 3: and whether or not Joe Biden has taken bribes from
- 2:52Speaker 3: foreign nationals, and most of the corporate media likewise has
- 2:55Speaker 3: no interest. So it is the House or Representatives that's
- 2:58Speaker 3: driving this forward, and they're doing it even more so
- 3:01Speaker 3: this week.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I wanted to pew it here.
- 3:04Speaker 1: This is how this news broke and it's not shocking,
- 3:06Speaker 1: but it certainly is going to be significant.
- 3:09Speaker 4: So breaking news to.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Tell you about here.
- 3:11Speaker 5: Foxnews dot Com has just discovered that the Chairman of
- 3:14Speaker 5: the House Oversight Committee, James Comer, has subpoena the DHS
- 3:18Speaker 5: Secretary Alhandra Majorcas and several other DHS and Secret Service
- 3:23Speaker 5: officials wanting testimony related to the Secret services alleged tip
- 3:28Speaker 5: off of the Biden transition team regarding a planned one
- 3:31Speaker 5: Hunter Biden tax probe interview back in twenty twenty, also
- 3:36Speaker 5: accusing the agencies of obstruction of the congressional investigation. Six
- 3:41Speaker 5: subpoenas in total were sent out, one directed to Mayorcis
- 3:45Speaker 5: for documents and five for depositions due to Secret Service officials,
- 3:49Speaker 5: and three to DHS officials. Comer told Fox News Digital quote,
- 3:54Speaker 5: the Department of Justice initiated the Biden family cover up,
- 3:58Speaker 5: and now DHS, under the leadership of Secretary may Orcus
- 4:01Speaker 5: is complicit in it.
- 4:03Speaker 4: He went on to say investigators.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Were never able to interview Hunter Biden during the criminal
- 4:07Speaker 5: investigation because Secret Service headquarters and the Biden transition team
- 4:11Speaker 5: were tipped off about the planned interview.
- 4:13Speaker 2: We'll keep following this. I love how they broke this story.
- 4:17Speaker 1: So my next question is if you were getting to
- 4:19Speaker 1: ask the question centers, what would you want to know
- 4:22Speaker 1: and what would you ask if you're on the House
- 4:24Speaker 1: side and these people are able to be brought in,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and what would you hope those answers would be from
- 4:30Speaker 1: them if they are actually truthful.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Well, look, the central question here is to what extent
- 4:36Speaker 3: did the Biden administration engage in obstruction of justice? To
- 4:40Speaker 3: what extent did they block the criminal investigation into the
- 4:44Speaker 3: misconduct of Hunter Biden and more importantly Joe Biden. We've
- 4:47Speaker 3: got multiple whistleblowers that allege they did so considerably. Here's
- 4:53Speaker 3: what I think is going to play out.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Ben.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I think we're going to see the House of Representatives
- 4:58Speaker 3: in peach Alejandro Mayorcus. That's something, as you know, I've
- 5:01Speaker 3: been calling for for almost the entirety of the Biden administration.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I think Mayorcus has presided over the worst disaster at
- 5:08Speaker 3: our southern border in our nation's history. I think he
- 5:10Speaker 3: is responsible very directly for implementing Joe Biden and Kamala
- 5:14Speaker 3: Harris's directives that have produced body bag after body bag
- 5:19Speaker 3: that have produced chaos and misery and suffering and death,
- 5:22Speaker 3: and that has been utterly lawless. I think that will happen.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Number one. Number two, I think what should happen, But
- 5:28Speaker 3: frankly I'm less confident that it will happen. Is I
- 5:31Speaker 3: think the House ought to pursue the impeachment of Merrick Garland.
- 5:34Speaker 3: That I think the serious, credible allegations of obstruction of
- 5:39Speaker 3: justice and of lying under oath under Merrick Garland, they
- 5:42Speaker 3: merit a special council being appointed in the Department of Justice.
- 5:45Speaker 3: They also merit the House of Representatives opening an impeachment
- 5:49Speaker 3: inquiry to Merrick Garland that I'm less confident that they
- 5:53Speaker 3: will go forward with than I am about Alejandro Majorcas.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I think the pressure on going after Mayorcus is greater
- 5:59Speaker 3: on fortunately, than the pressure on going after Merrick Garland.
- 6:03Speaker 3: The third thing that I think the House will do
- 6:07Speaker 3: is formally open an impeachment inquiry on Joe Biden. At
- 6:11Speaker 3: this point, the evidence that Joe Biden personally solicited and
- 6:16Speaker 3: received bribes from foreign nationals, whether it is Ukrainian ola garks,
- 6:21Speaker 3: or Russian oligarchs or senior Chinese communist officials, that evidence
- 6:25Speaker 3: is considerable. It's not proven conclusively, but at this point
- 6:30Speaker 3: the weight of the evidence is such that I think
- 6:32Speaker 3: the only responsible thing for the House to do is
- 6:35Speaker 3: open an impeachment inquiry. To do so, we'll take a
- 6:38Speaker 3: full vote on the floor of the House. I think
- 6:40Speaker 3: we'll get that vote, and I think the Speaker of
- 6:42Speaker 3: the House, Kevin McCarthy, wants that inquiry to open up. Now,
- 6:46Speaker 3: I'll tell you one of the real consequences if and
- 6:49Speaker 3: when the House opens an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden.
- 6:54Speaker 3: It is going to increase dramatically the likelihood that we
- 6:58Speaker 3: will get access to this some five four hundred emails
- 7:03Speaker 3: that Joe Biden sent using fake email addresses, using pseudonyms,
- 7:08Speaker 3: and those include emails sent to his son, Hunter Biden,
- 7:11Speaker 3: who is not and was not a federal government employee.
- 7:14Speaker 3: That those include emails that allegedly concern Ukraine, while Hunter
- 7:18Speaker 3: Biden was getting paid millions of dollars from corrupt Ukrainian
- 7:22Speaker 3: oligarchs in order to try to secure favors from his father.
- 7:29Speaker 3: And the reason that opening an impeachment inquiry into Joe
- 7:32Speaker 3: Biden is so important is right now, the House is
- 7:36Speaker 3: seeking access to those five four hundred emails from the
- 7:41Speaker 3: National Archives, and the National Archives is following a statute
- 7:46Speaker 3: called the Presidential Records Act, and so in order to
- 7:49Speaker 3: hand those emails over, the National Archives needs the permission
- 7:53Speaker 3: of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Now I'm going to
- 7:56Speaker 3: quantify right now the precise statistical likelihood that Barack Obama
- 8:00Speaker 3: and Joe Biden will give permission to hand over those emails.
- 8:04Speaker 3: That exact likelihood is zero point zero zero percent. They're
- 8:10Speaker 3: not going to do so. Actually, Biden gets asked twice.
- 8:13Speaker 3: He gets asked both as the former vice president and
- 8:15Speaker 3: as the current president, so he can say no twice. Now,
- 8:19Speaker 3: why does an impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden matter? It
- 8:23Speaker 3: matters because, under the terms of the Presidential Records Act,
- 8:27Speaker 3: special access to presidential records is allowed to Congress quote
- 8:33Speaker 3: to the extent of matter within its jurisdiction, to any
- 8:37Speaker 3: committee if such records contain information that is needed for
- 8:42Speaker 3: the conduct of its business that is not otherwise available. So,
- 8:46Speaker 3: in other words, if and when the House formally votes
- 8:50Speaker 3: to open an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden, it suddenly
- 8:54Speaker 3: has explicit statutory authorization to get access to all five
- 8:59Speaker 3: thousand and four hundred of those emails from Joe Biden's
- 9:03Speaker 3: fake email addresses. And again, as we've discussed on this
- 9:06Speaker 3: podcast many times, there is no legitimate reason for Joe
- 9:11Speaker 3: Biden to have fake email addresses. There's no legitimate reason
- 9:13Speaker 3: for him to have burner phones, with which he allegedly
- 9:16Speaker 3: also had, And so I think the odds are quite good.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Number one that we see impeachment of Alejandro mayorcis, but
- 9:24Speaker 3: number two that we see the House formally open an
- 9:26Speaker 3: impeachment inquiry into Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I want to tell you about a friends a Gusta
- 9:32Speaker 1: Precious Medals. You know where interest rates are right now,
- 9:35Speaker 1: they're at a twenty one year high on Holmes, we've
- 9:38Speaker 1: seen what's been happening in the Biden economy. As much
- 9:40Speaker 1: as they say biden Omics is working, you know it's not.
- 9:44Speaker 1: And the question is how do you protect your hard
- 9:46Speaker 1: earned assets? Well, that is exactly why I want you
- 9:49Speaker 1: to know about Augusta Precious Medals. Augusta Precious Metals can
- 9:53Speaker 1: help you protect your heart earned hours within IRA or
- 9:57Speaker 1: a four to oh one K that actually has gold.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yes, that's exactly what can happen.
- 10:02Speaker 1: It's shocking if you look at what happened last year
- 10:05Speaker 1: on average iras and four one K balances felled twenty
- 10:09Speaker 1: percent last year according to Fidelity. Now many people didn't
- 10:12Speaker 1: expect that. But here's something that could have helped you
- 10:14Speaker 1: protect your hard earned dollars and that is physical gold
- 10:17Speaker 1: in your IRA. The World Gold Council says even central
- 10:21Speaker 1: banks are buying tons of gold. So what does that
- 10:24Speaker 1: tell you? Well, if you want to know why I
- 10:26Speaker 1: invest in gold and why so many others are and
- 10:28Speaker 1: protecting their assets. Call Augusta Precious Medals. Not only will
- 10:33Speaker 1: they send you their free investors guide on gold, but
- 10:35Speaker 1: they'll do a one on one web conference to answer
- 10:38Speaker 1: all of your questions and tell you if gold isn't
- 10:41Speaker 1: right for you. The number eight seven seven four Gold IRA.
- 10:47Speaker 1: That's eight seven seven, the number four gold IR. Or
- 10:52Speaker 1: visit them online to Gusta Precious Metals dot com. That's
- 10:56Speaker 1: a Gusta Precious Metals dot com eight seven seven the
- 11:00Speaker 1: number four gold IRA or Augusta Precious Metals dot com.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Center Democrats, I do believe, are now starting to worry
- 11:08Speaker 1: about the idea of impeachment. The reason why you can
- 11:11Speaker 1: see it is on the Sunday morning shows. Congressman Conna wrote,
- 11:16Speaker 1: Kona had this to say when he was talking with
- 11:19Speaker 1: one of those guys that hates, obviously, Donald Trump, Jim Acosta,
- 11:23Speaker 1: on CNN about the evidence to go after impeachment.
- 11:27Speaker 6: Listen, and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy says Republicans could soon
- 11:31Speaker 6: vote on a formal impeachment query and to President Biden
- 11:34Speaker 6: something obviously the former president has pressed Republicans to do
- 11:38Speaker 6: on truth social What do you make of this is
- 11:41Speaker 6: this a serious threat. We're going to be talking about
- 11:43Speaker 6: impeachment here in the coming months.
- 11:45Speaker 2: What's going on.
- 11:46Speaker 7: Unfortunately, I think it is a serious threat from the extremes.
- 11:50Speaker 7: But this is not what the American people want. This
- 11:53Speaker 7: is not what Republicans or Democrats and my constituency are
- 11:56Speaker 7: asking for, and there is no evidence to justify it.
- 12:00Speaker 7: So I think what people want is to solve their issues, childcare,
- 12:04Speaker 7: the fact that the rents cost too much, the fact
- 12:07Speaker 7: that wages haven't kept up with the cost of living.
- 12:10Speaker 7: That's what they want us to do in Congress, and
- 12:12Speaker 7: I think it would be a political mistake for the
- 12:15Speaker 7: speaker to go down that road.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I mean, you hear that saying there's no evidence justify
- 12:21Speaker 1: by an impeachment. This is actually when I know that
- 12:24Speaker 1: there's a good chance the Democrats are fearful of what
- 12:27Speaker 1: we could find out through impeachment.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Well, one of the things that's striking Jim Acosta is
- 12:33Speaker 3: such a propaganda puppet joke. You notice his question. His
- 12:40Speaker 3: question does not discuss any facts, It doesn't discuss any evidence.
- 12:43Speaker 3: He says, my god, do you think Democrats will dare
- 12:47Speaker 3: do this?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Oh?
- 12:48Speaker 3: My goodness, of rather Republicans, Will they dare come after us? Like,
- 12:52Speaker 3: that's not a journalist? And what does he do? He
- 12:57Speaker 3: lets the Democrat congressman say, well, there's no evidence. Really,
- 13:00Speaker 3: What as a text from Hunter Biden to a senior
- 13:03Speaker 3: communist Chinese official saying I'm sitting next to my father,
- 13:07Speaker 3: pay me millions of dollars or my father will retaliate
- 13:10Speaker 3: against you. You know what that is? That is called evidence.
- 13:14Speaker 3: So the statement there is no evidence is blatantly false.
- 13:19Speaker 3: But if Jim Acosta were a reporter, he would point
- 13:23Speaker 3: that out. What about the evidence of not one, but
- 13:25Speaker 3: two career IRS employees, senior supervisory officials at the IRS,
- 13:31Speaker 3: who came forward, and they're not Republicans, they're probably Democrats
- 13:35Speaker 3: who came forward and said, we've seen obstruction of justice
- 13:38Speaker 3: and lying under oath. This administration is covering up investigation
- 13:43Speaker 3: of Joe Biden's criminality. Is that not evidence? What about
- 13:46Speaker 3: a confidential human source coming forward saying Joe Biden and
- 13:48Speaker 3: Hunter Biden solicited and received five million dollars a peach
- 13:52Speaker 3: a piece from a foreign oligarch. Now none of those
- 13:58Speaker 3: perhaps conclusively prove bribery, but it is absurd to say
- 14:04Speaker 3: they are no evidence on their face their evidence, And
- 14:09Speaker 3: if CNN had even a tiny sentilla of journalistic integrity,
- 14:15Speaker 3: number one, they'd fired Jim Acosta because he's a clown.
- 14:18Speaker 3: But number two, they would actually talk about facts rather
- 14:21Speaker 3: than clutching their pearls and say, how dare anyone inquire
- 14:25Speaker 3: into dear leader Sata?
- 14:27Speaker 1: This goes perfectly by the way to your point that
- 14:29Speaker 1: you just made. And for many that may not have
- 14:32Speaker 1: seen this. The Washington Post Philip Bomp, who's a raging liberal,
- 14:37Speaker 1: walked out on an interview when he was asked a
- 14:40Speaker 1: tough question and it's supposed to be a journalist asked
- 14:43Speaker 1: a tough question about Joe Biden and the Biden crime family.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Take a listen, may what.
- 14:49Speaker 8: Do you take from the text message to his adult
- 14:51Speaker 8: daughter hundred techiz, I had to give fifty percent of
- 14:54Speaker 8: my income to pop.
- 14:55Speaker 4: I have no idea what that means. I don't. I
- 14:57Speaker 4: have no idea what that means.
- 14:58Speaker 9: It's I know, it's circumstantial evidence, and you prefer that
- 15:01Speaker 9: what what could?
- 15:02Speaker 4: I have no idea? But doesn't it don't know? Well,
- 15:04Speaker 4: I appreciate your has anybody has anybody asked her? I
- 15:07Speaker 4: don't know, I don't know.
- 15:09Speaker 8: Don't you think somebody should ask her?
- 15:10Speaker 4: Okay, like I'm not.
- 15:12Speaker 9: I just said I don't know, and I don't know
- 15:13Speaker 9: what to make of it, so I have nothing say
- 15:14Speaker 9: about it.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but it doesn't want to say.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Yeah, but you say there's no evident evidence.
- 15:17Speaker 8: But then there's a text message where he says, I
- 15:19Speaker 8: give pop fifty cent of my money.
- 15:21Speaker 2: That's that's evidence.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Okay, well, okay, fine, fine, so evidence. I appreciate your
- 15:26Speaker 4: having me on.
- 15:27Speaker 2: It doesn't that something like that?
- 15:29Speaker 4: Who do you think me more?
- 15:30Speaker 3: I lived at that.
- 15:31Speaker 9: I'm saying you can figure. I don't I feel you
- 15:33Speaker 9: want me to leave? Like just walk out in the
- 15:35Speaker 9: middle of this. You can that way you can?
- 15:37Speaker 8: You can go?
- 15:37Speaker 4: Is this a standard?
- 15:38Speaker 5: Really?
- 15:38Speaker 8: This is the way the Washington Post handles people who disagree.
- 15:42Speaker 9: With one I agree to be on for forty five minutes,
- 15:44Speaker 9: and then they get on for an hour and fifteen.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Yet that after a while I go go, thanks, man?
- 15:48Speaker 2: Is't it amazing the timing there?
- 15:49Speaker 1: Oh? I gotta go, gotta go right now, right can't
- 15:52Speaker 1: answer that question. You're trying to get me to just
- 15:54Speaker 1: look like I'm walking off the set. No, he's trying
- 15:56Speaker 1: to give him to answer a question.
- 15:58Speaker 3: So, all right, number one, the person questioning him is
- 16:01Speaker 3: a guy named Nome Dwarman, who it's he's on a
- 16:05Speaker 3: podcast and he's not a conservative. H No, Dorman is
- 16:11Speaker 3: actually a liberal. He's the owner of comedy Seller. And
- 16:16Speaker 3: so I'm sure Philip Bump figured, Okay, Philip Bump is
- 16:19Speaker 3: this left wing hack for the Washington Post. I'm sure
- 16:22Speaker 3: he thought, Okay, I'm going to be in a little
- 16:24Speaker 3: love fest. No one's gonna ask me anything hard. And
- 16:26Speaker 3: Philip Bump used his entire job as being the apologist
- 16:29Speaker 3: for the regime. So when when Dwarman asks him about
- 16:35Speaker 3: the text message of Hunter expressing frustration that he has
- 16:39Speaker 3: to give half of what he makes to Pop, notice,
- 16:42Speaker 3: but Bumps, I don't know what it means. I don't
- 16:43Speaker 3: know what it means. And then okay, you don't know
- 16:45Speaker 3: what it means. That's not complicated, it's not subtle, it's
- 16:48Speaker 3: not difficult to figure out. And then he says, it's
- 16:49Speaker 3: circumstantial evidence. Mister Bump, you are using words you do
- 16:54Speaker 3: not know what they mean. What does the word circumstantial means? No, Actually,
- 16:58Speaker 3: it is direct evidence. It is direct evidence. It is
- 17:01Speaker 3: the statement from Hunter saying he gave fifty percent of
- 17:04Speaker 3: his money to Pop. That is direct evidence. Circumstantial is
- 17:08Speaker 3: he has twice as much money one day and then
- 17:10Speaker 3: he goes to see his dad and the next day
- 17:12Speaker 3: he has half as much. That would be circumstantial evidence
- 17:14Speaker 3: that he gave Pop half the money. When he says
- 17:17Speaker 3: I had to give Pop half the money, that is
- 17:20Speaker 3: direct evidence. It may not be true, could be telling
- 17:23Speaker 3: something that is false, but it is not, in fact,
- 17:26Speaker 3: circumstantial evidence. And if you actually listen to more of
- 17:30Speaker 3: that interview. In fact, let me read from the transcript
- 17:34Speaker 3: of this interview. So Bump gets very upset when he's
- 17:38Speaker 3: being pressed, and he says, quote, I just I'm gonna
- 17:42Speaker 3: lose my mind. I'm gonna lose my mind. And Dorman
- 17:45Speaker 3: presses him and asks, quote, is there nothing we can
- 17:49Speaker 3: talk about half the country believes this stuff. Bump comes
- 17:53Speaker 3: back with quote, I know because half the country doesn't
- 17:56Speaker 3: actually dig into the issues. Dwarman then press says, well,
- 18:01Speaker 3: here's your chance to disabuse people they don't read the
- 18:05Speaker 3: Washington Post. And Bump comes back and says, there's just
- 18:10Speaker 3: no point because all you want to do is have me,
- 18:13Speaker 3: here is the putative expert. So you can present me
- 18:16Speaker 3: with things that have been debunked multiple times that I've
- 18:19Speaker 3: written about. Dorman asks a very reasonable question, what's been debunked, Bump,
- 18:26Speaker 3: these claims I've written about this, this argument about his
- 18:31Speaker 3: dad calling him, I've written about this. Did you read
- 18:34Speaker 3: what I wrote? Dorman says, it's not debunked. Neither of
- 18:39Speaker 3: us were there.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Bump, Well, I've debunked it.
- 18:42Speaker 3: In the standpoint that I've already addressed this and presented
- 18:47Speaker 3: the counter arguments to it. I want you to pause
- 18:50Speaker 3: for a second and think, in the view of the
- 18:53Speaker 3: Washington Post, debunked means he's addressed it and presented the
- 19:00Speaker 3: counter arguments to it. In other words, if he repeats
- 19:03Speaker 3: the talking points of the Biden regime, it's been debunked.
- 19:08Speaker 3: The fact that there are counter arguments doesn't mean it's debunked.
- 19:12Speaker 3: It means he's simply arguing the other side. And then
- 19:16Speaker 3: Bump goes on, and here's what he says. He says well,
- 19:20Speaker 3: Dowrman says, quote, I have two issues here. One is
- 19:26Speaker 3: Joe Biden's behavior, and one is the issue of the press.
- 19:30Speaker 3: The press actually bothers me more than Joe Biden. Mind you,
- 19:34Speaker 3: this is a Democrat saying this. And here's Bump's response, quote,
- 19:37Speaker 3: because you don't listen to the press. I'm sitting here
- 19:40Speaker 3: and I'm telling you you're wrong about these things, and
- 19:42Speaker 3: you don't listen, and you continue to insist upon things
- 19:45Speaker 3: that are you know, parsing of language. It's just it's
- 19:50Speaker 3: it's this. This is why I keep saying it's silly.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Dowarman says, well, it's a shame because this is a
- 19:57Speaker 3: good conversation, and Bump says, it's not a good comp
- 20:00Speaker 3: because you refuse to listen to what I'm saying to you.
- 20:03Speaker 3: You asked me on to present evidence, I keep telling you.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Dorman then comes back and says, well, what about what
- 20:10Speaker 3: independent journalist Matt Tabee has reported? And Bump says what, no, No,
- 20:15Speaker 3: Tybee has an agenda, And Dorman asked, well, do you
- 20:20Speaker 3: have an agenda? And Bump admits, and listen to this,
- 20:23Speaker 3: listen to his explanation. Bump says, quote, I do have
- 20:26Speaker 3: an agenda. My agenda is to do my best to
- 20:29Speaker 3: try and present accurate information to the public, and I
- 20:32Speaker 3: have an institution behind me to hold me to account
- 20:35Speaker 3: when I don't do that, which I think is an
- 20:37Speaker 3: important consideration. It really is stunning that number one, when
- 20:43Speaker 3: confronted with facts, a supposed journalist doesn't actually address those facts.
- 20:49Speaker 3: When confronted with evidence, he doesn't address the evidence. In fact,
- 20:52Speaker 3: he denies the evidence exists. And he claims that because
- 20:56Speaker 3: he has parroted the talking points of the White House,
- 20:59Speaker 3: even when contradicts or even when contrary to objective facts.
- 21:03Speaker 3: That means claims have been debunked. This is why journalism
- 21:08Speaker 3: is corrupted. You know, it's striking. The Washington Post its
- 21:11Speaker 3: motto is democracy dies in darkness. I gotta say today
- 21:16Speaker 3: the Washington Post that motto has become a mission statement.
- 21:19Speaker 3: It seems like their objective is to kill democracy by
- 21:23Speaker 3: ensuring on darkness in every circumstance.
- 21:26Speaker 1: One other thing that I do have to laugh about
- 21:28Speaker 1: it when he acts like he has an institution behind him.
- 21:30Speaker 1: That's like, you know, checking on him as he described
- 21:32Speaker 1: it right with like you know, I've held a higher standard.
- 21:35Speaker 2: This is the same Washington Post.
- 21:38Speaker 1: To be clear, that still has not at least to
- 21:41Speaker 1: my knowledge, is of a week or two ago when
- 21:43Speaker 1: we were talking about this has still not updated and
- 21:46Speaker 1: in fact checked their own reporting on Russia collusion with
- 21:49Speaker 1: Donald Jerry Trump, which they now know is a lie.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Well, not only that one of the leading Russia Russia
- 21:55Speaker 3: Russia cheerleaders was Philip Bump. He was eager to say
- 21:58Speaker 3: over and over and over again things that now have
- 22:01Speaker 3: been debunked, that are now completely false. He was completely
- 22:05Speaker 3: taken in by the so called p tape that we
- 22:08Speaker 3: know was paid for by the DNC and the Hillary
- 22:10Speaker 3: Clinton campaign and is false. But you know what, the
- 22:13Speaker 3: Washington Post won a pulletzer for their false reporting, and
- 22:16Speaker 3: I have to say, given that that reporting played a
- 22:20Speaker 3: pivotal role in the election results of twenty twenty, you know,
- 22:24Speaker 3: it is admirable how they engage in election interference and
- 22:28Speaker 3: then do not admit when they're wrong. They don't issue
- 22:30Speaker 3: a correction, and then in the case of Philip Bump,
- 22:34Speaker 3: they get angry when anyone points out just how wrong
- 22:38Speaker 3: they were and when anyone actually points to real facts
- 22:40Speaker 3: or real evidence.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Let me tell you about our friends at Chalk.

- 24:12Speaker 1: I also want to deal with COVID. We were talking
- 24:14Speaker 1: about the lies and they seem to be coming back.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Now.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Why now is now letting everybody know that Joe Biden
- 24:21Speaker 1: is going to start wearing a mask indoors. This after
- 24:25Speaker 1: Joe Biden has come down with COVID. Even though Joe
- 24:28Speaker 1: Biden has tested negative for COVID yesterday and the day
- 24:32Speaker 1: before the day before that.
- 24:33Speaker 10: President Biden tested negative last night for COVID nineteen and
- 24:36Speaker 10: tested negative again today. He's not experiencing any symptoms. As
- 24:41Speaker 10: far as the steps he's taking, since the President was
- 24:45Speaker 10: with the First Lady yesterday, he will be masking while
- 24:48Speaker 10: indoors and around people in alignment with CDC guidance, and
- 24:53Speaker 10: as as has been the practice in the past, the
- 24:56Speaker 10: President will remove his mask when sufficiently distanced from other
- 25:00Speaker 10: indoors and while outside as well.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Now the funny part is Cenator. This is said from
- 25:05Speaker 1: the podium at the White House. Moments later, the President
- 25:08Speaker 1: is on stage and ceremony, he's not the appropriate distance
- 25:12Speaker 1: of the White House is appropriate from other people.
- 25:15Speaker 2: And then he takes his mask off.
- 25:16Speaker 1: That they just said to everybody, who's gonna be wearing
- 25:18Speaker 1: if he's in closed quarters with a lot of different people.
- 25:21Speaker 1: And you add that in with a DC area elementary school,
- 25:25Speaker 1: Montgomery County, Maryland is now reinstating a mass mandate. And
- 25:30Speaker 1: the mass man isn't just for those little masks, No, No,
- 25:33Speaker 1: n ninety five masks for all their third graders. Because
- 25:37Speaker 1: a few kids tested positive for COVID. They send out
- 25:40Speaker 1: a letter telling parents that these, these masks, these in
- 25:44Speaker 1: ninety five masks are going to be mandated in class.
- 25:48Speaker 1: These masks, they say, have been distributed and students and
- 25:51Speaker 1: staff and identified classes and or activities will be required
- 25:55Speaker 1: to mask while in school for at least the next
- 25:58Speaker 1: ten days, except of course, while eating and drinking, and
- 26:02Speaker 1: the mask will become optional, they claim. After the quote
- 26:05Speaker 1: outbreak has dissipated, here it is mask mandates coming back.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Look, this is utterly absurd. Mask mandates are wrong, and
- 26:16Speaker 3: for the Left, this has become a it's a combination
- 26:19Speaker 3: of a number of things. Number one, it's an article
- 26:22Speaker 3: of faith. Number two, it's a virtue signal. It shows
- 26:25Speaker 3: just how self righteous they think they are. You know,
- 26:28Speaker 3: as I was walking down the halls of the Capitol today,
- 26:31Speaker 3: one very prominent Democrat senator was walking along with his
- 26:34Speaker 3: N ninety five mask and behind him was his staffer
- 26:37Speaker 3: wearing his N ninety five mask. And it shows virtue.
- 26:41Speaker 3: But number three, it's about control. And this is all
- 26:45Speaker 3: about controlling people, whether it's mask mandates, whether it's vaccine mandates,
- 26:49Speaker 3: whether it's having the four hundred and thirty seventh booster.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Enough is enough is enough? This is crap and no,
- 26:57Speaker 3: look I recognize. And by the way, a year for
- 27:00Speaker 3: now we are going to see the most deadly COVID
- 27:02Speaker 3: variant ever seen, the election variant. And before the election,
- 27:06Speaker 3: it's they're going to need to shut everything down because
- 27:08Speaker 3: they want to have mail in balloting for everyone because
- 27:12Speaker 3: they think it helps elect Democrats. Enough is enough is enough.
- 27:15Speaker 3: If you want to wear a damn mask, fine, but
- 27:18Speaker 3: don't be a hypocrite and don't try to force other
- 27:20Speaker 3: people to And all right, listen, So many of the
- 27:25Speaker 3: people who listen to this podcast are conservatives, but some
- 27:28Speaker 3: are not, some are open minded. Someone to hear both sides.
- 27:31Speaker 3: So maybe you think, all right, I'm not going to
- 27:33Speaker 3: trust crews. I'm not going to trust Ferguson on this,
- 27:36Speaker 3: all right. If you don't trust me, listen to CNN
- 27:41Speaker 3: Left Wing CNN confronting doctor Fauci this past weekend about
- 27:46Speaker 3: his false claims about masks. Give a listen.
- 27:50Speaker 11: There is a perception out there by many how many
- 27:53Speaker 11: I don't know, that they don't work, and that the
- 27:55Speaker 11: data concludes that they didn't work in the first go round.
- 27:59Speaker 11: Respond to that on masks, Yeah.
- 28:02Speaker 4: Well that's not so.
- 28:04Speaker 12: I mean, when you're talking about at the population level,
- 28:07Speaker 12: that the data are less strong than knowing that. If
- 28:10Speaker 12: you look on a situation as an individual protecting themselves
- 28:14Speaker 12: or protecting them from spreading it, there's no doubt that
- 28:18Speaker 12: masks work. Different studies give different percentages of advantage of
- 28:23Speaker 12: wearing it, but there's no doubt that the weight of
- 28:25Speaker 12: the studies, and there have been many studies indicate the
- 28:29Speaker 12: benefit of wearing masks.
- 28:32Speaker 11: I'm going to refer to one of them. You've heard
- 28:34Speaker 11: about it before. I heard about it from a number
- 28:36Speaker 11: of radio callers. Brett Stevens in The Times talked about
- 28:39Speaker 11: Cochrane put that on the screen. The most rigorous and
- 28:42Speaker 11: comprehensive analysis of scientific studies conducted on the efficacy of
- 28:46Speaker 11: masks for reducing the spread of respiratory illness including COVID
- 28:49Speaker 11: nineteen was published last month. Its conclusions, said Tom Jefferson,
- 28:54Speaker 11: the Oxford epidemiologist who is the lead author, were unambiguous.
- 28:58Speaker 11: There is just no evidence that say masks make any difference,
- 29:02Speaker 11: he told the journalist Mayen Demasi.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Full stop.
- 29:05Speaker 4: But wait, hold on, what about the N ninety.
- 29:07Speaker 11: Five masks as opposed to the lower quality surgical or
- 29:10Speaker 11: cloth masks. Makes no difference, none of it, He said, Well,
- 29:14Speaker 11: what about the studies that initially persuaded policymakers to impose
- 29:18Speaker 11: mask mandates. They were convinced by non randomized studies, flawed
- 29:22Speaker 11: observational studies. How do we get beyond that finding of
- 29:27Speaker 11: that particular review.
- 29:29Speaker 12: Yeah, but there are other studies, Michael, that show at
- 29:32Speaker 12: an individual level, for individual, when you're talking about the
- 29:35Speaker 12: effect on the epidemic or the pandemic as a whole,
- 29:41Speaker 12: the data are less strong. But when you talk about
- 29:43Speaker 12: as an individual basis of someone protecting themselves or protecting
- 29:48Speaker 12: themselves from spreading it to others. There's no doubt that
- 29:51Speaker 12: there are many studies that show that there is an
- 29:54Speaker 12: advantage when you took at the broad population level, like
- 29:57Speaker 12: the Cockman study, the data are less firm with regard
- 30:01Speaker 12: to the effect on the overall pandemic. But we're not
- 30:05Speaker 12: talking about that.
- 30:05Speaker 4: We're talking about.
- 30:06Speaker 12: An individual's effect on their own safety. That's a bit
- 30:11Speaker 12: different than the broad population love.
- 30:13Speaker 1: I mean, you hear him there, and even he's being
- 30:15Speaker 1: questioned Fauci by a guy who's not conservative at CNN,
- 30:20Speaker 1: and it's for ConA. She's like, well, hold on, I'll
- 30:22Speaker 1: read for you what they say. And yet Fauci is
- 30:24Speaker 1: still sitting their center saying, no, no, these things work.
- 30:27Speaker 1: You're somehow still wrong.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Well, look two things. Number one, Fauci himself knows what
- 30:34Speaker 3: he's saying is wrong. And if you go back to
- 30:37Speaker 3: the beginning of COVID February fifth, twenty twenty, Sylvia Burwell,
- 30:41Speaker 3: who was the Secretary of Health and Human Services for
- 30:43Speaker 3: three years under Barack Obama, emailed Fauci and asks ask
- 30:48Speaker 3: if she should wear a mask. And by the way,
- 30:50Speaker 3: his whole defense was well individually, it makes sense, just
- 30:53Speaker 3: not for society. Here's what Fauci wrote on February fifth,
- 30:57Speaker 3: of twenty twenty. Quote Masks are not are really for
- 31:01Speaker 3: infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people
- 31:04Speaker 3: who are not infected, rather than protecting uninfected people from
- 31:07Speaker 3: acquiring infection. Fauci continues, the typical mask you behind the
- 31:11Speaker 3: drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus,
- 31:14Speaker 3: which is small enough to pass through material. It might, however,
- 31:18Speaker 3: provide some slight benefit to keep out gross droplets if
- 31:22Speaker 3: someone costs or sneezes on you. And he added quote,
- 31:27Speaker 3: I do not recommend that you wear a mask, particularly
- 31:31Speaker 3: since you are going to a very low risk location.
- 31:34Speaker 3: That's what he said in twenty twenty. Then he decided
- 31:40Speaker 3: that it was politically beneficial to mandate that everyone had
- 31:43Speaker 3: to wear a mask. And yet now look the second
- 31:45Speaker 3: point I'd make, the fact that CNN is turning on
- 31:49Speaker 3: this in the height of the pandemic. The words that
- 31:52Speaker 3: you just played from CNN, they would not utter. There
- 31:55Speaker 3: was no brooking descent from whatever Saint Fauci said. Whatever
- 32:01Speaker 3: the mandate was, masks today, not Mass tomorrow, Mass the
- 32:04Speaker 3: next day, you couldn't disagree. The fact that even CNN
- 32:08Speaker 3: is turning, I think is significant. I think if the
- 32:11Speaker 3: Biden administration tries another round of shutdowns and mask mandates,
- 32:15Speaker 3: I think a lot of the country is going to
- 32:17Speaker 3: say no, and hell no. I'll tell you the state
- 32:19Speaker 3: of Texas has zero interest in shutting down.
- 32:22Speaker 12: And I.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Think you're going to see resistance, not just in Texas
- 32:29Speaker 3: but all over the country.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Yeah. I think you're right.
- 32:31Speaker 1: And the other thing that worries many people is this
- 32:33Speaker 1: the president and this idea that we could go back
- 32:36Speaker 1: into some sort of government shutdown. There was that awkward
- 32:39Speaker 1: interview that he did with Kamala Harris, far away from
- 32:42Speaker 1: the social distancing back in the early days of COVID
- 32:45Speaker 1: in his administration, sitting next to you know, far away
- 32:48Speaker 1: from David Muiror's interviewing them in a weird triangle, and
- 32:51Speaker 1: he said he would have no problem if the scientist
- 32:53Speaker 1: told him to shut down our entire economy.
- 32:56Speaker 13: I would be prepared to do whatever it takes to
- 32:58Speaker 13: save lives, because we can not get the country moving
- 33:02Speaker 13: until we control the virus. That is the fundamental flaw
- 33:06Speaker 13: of this administration's thinking to begin with. In order to
- 33:09Speaker 13: keep the country running and moving and the economy growing
- 33:13Speaker 13: and people employed.
- 33:15Speaker 2: You have to fix the virus. You have to deal
- 33:17Speaker 2: with the virus.
- 33:18Speaker 4: So if the scientists say shut it down.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I would shut it down.
- 33:22Speaker 13: I would listen to the scientist.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I mean, that's apparently still on the table. And if
- 33:28Speaker 1: they bring the mass back where I mean, how far
- 33:30Speaker 1: away are we from having another fall where they start
- 33:33Speaker 1: shutting things down?
- 33:34Speaker 2: And what should the American people do.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Look, the Democrats want to shut it down, they want
- 33:40Speaker 3: to impose mandates, and I got to say one of
- 33:42Speaker 3: the biggest lies of that exchange is I would listen
- 33:46Speaker 3: to the scientists. The only scientists that he listens to
- 33:48Speaker 3: are the ones who say what he wants to hear.
- 33:51Speaker 3: You know, the very last podcast we did, we did
- 33:53Speaker 3: a two part episode with an interview with doctor Phil
- 33:55Speaker 3: and one of the interesting things. Look, doctor Phil has
- 33:59Speaker 3: been the number one daytime TV host for a decade,
- 34:02Speaker 3: and he talked about how the data are that the
- 34:06Speaker 3: school shutdowns from COVID cost many, many more lives than
- 34:12Speaker 3: the virus would have cost. In other words, listened to
- 34:14Speaker 3: the scientists. The Democrats aren't listening to the scientists because
- 34:18Speaker 3: if they did, they'd look at the harm from the shutdowns.
- 34:20Speaker 3: They look at the harm for businesses shut down. They'd
- 34:22Speaker 3: look at the harm from churches shutdown. They'd look at
- 34:25Speaker 3: the harm from school shut down, the kids who face
- 34:27Speaker 3: learning loss for the rest of their life. They look
- 34:29Speaker 3: at the mental health numbers that have gone up. They'd
- 34:32Speaker 3: look at the kids who didn't go to school and
- 34:35Speaker 3: didn't have physical wellness checks, didn't have mental health checks,
- 34:38Speaker 3: didn't have daily food because for low income kids, for
- 34:42Speaker 3: many of them, their principal source of food is at school.
- 34:44Speaker 3: They didn't have the counselors who could observe whether kids
- 34:48Speaker 3: are subject to physical abuse or sexual abuse because when
- 34:51Speaker 3: they shut down schools, they sent them at home. And
- 34:54Speaker 3: the data what doctor Phil told us that if you
- 34:57Speaker 3: didn't listen to those two podcasts, you got to go
- 34:58Speaker 3: back and listen to them. But what Phil said on
- 35:00Speaker 3: this podcast was that the data show that many, many
- 35:04Speaker 3: more lives were lost because of the shutdowns. But the
- 35:07Speaker 3: Democrats don't want to listen to the scientists. They have
- 35:10Speaker 3: a political agenda, so they'll cherry pick whatever scientists repeat
- 35:15Speaker 3: the politically favored outcome that support the result they want.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Anyway I want to ask you want to ask question
- 35:21Speaker 1: about states and what states seem to do to prepare
- 35:24Speaker 1: for this. But first let me tell you about Patriot Mobile.
- 35:26Speaker 1: For ten years, Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian
- 35:30Speaker 1: conservative wireless provider. And when I say only trust me,
- 35:35Speaker 1: there's only one. The team at Patriot Mobile are incredible
- 35:39Speaker 1: because not only do they support shows just like this,
- 35:43Speaker 1: but they are proud to partner with conservatives. Patriot Mobile
- 35:47Speaker 1: offers you dependable nationwide coverage, giving you the ability to
- 35:50Speaker 1: access all three major networks, which means you get the
- 35:53Speaker 1: same coverage you've been accustomed to without funding the left.
- 35:57Speaker 1: And when you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're sending a
- 36:00Speaker 1: clear message that you support free speech, religious freedom, the
- 36:03Speaker 1: sanctity of life, the Second Amendment, and our military veterans
- 36:07Speaker 1: and first responder heroes. They have one hundred percent US
- 36:11Speaker 1: base customer service team which makes switching easy. You get
- 36:15Speaker 1: to keep your phone number if you want to, You

- 36:56Speaker 1: you think states should be doing? Because Texas has banned
- 36:59Speaker 1: the mass Manneday sins, COVID restrictions are being imposed in
- 37:02Speaker 1: other states. It was a Newsweek headline this as a
- 37:05Speaker 1: ban on COVID nineteen restrictions and imposed a mandate to
- 37:07Speaker 1: wear a face mask in public spaces. When to affect
- 37:10Speaker 1: in Texas after a number of institutions across the US
- 37:13Speaker 1: reinstaid the policy do to a rise in new infections
- 37:17Speaker 1: fueled by the emergence of two.
- 37:19Speaker 2: New variants of the virus.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Now that's the GISTs of this, but Texas is saying, hey,
- 37:24Speaker 1: we're going to stand up to this type of insanity.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Do other people need to be calling their legislators and
- 37:29Speaker 1: asking for the same thing.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Look absolutely yes, listen. States need to embrace common sense.
- 37:35Speaker 3: States need to defend liberty. States need to defend individual choice.
- 37:40Speaker 3: If someone wants to wear a mask, knock yourself out.
- 37:43Speaker 3: You can still you know, I flew from Texas to
- 37:46Speaker 3: DC today, there were still a handful of people in
- 37:48Speaker 3: the airport that choose to wear a mask. Okay, if
- 37:50Speaker 3: you want to wear a mask, that's fine. You got
- 37:52Speaker 3: an individual choice. You can wear a ski mask if
- 37:56Speaker 3: you want.
- 37:56Speaker 4: That's your choice.
- 37:57Speaker 3: But government shouldn't be forcing people to wear a mask.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Airlines shouldn't be forcing people to make wear a mask.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Airport shouldn't be forcing people to wear a mask. Restaurants
- 38:07Speaker 3: shouldn't be at forcing people to wear a mask. Nobody
- 38:09Speaker 3: should be forcing anyone to wear a mask. And even
- 38:12Speaker 3: more so, governors and states need to say not just no,
- 38:16Speaker 3: but hell no to the shutdowns. We will look back
- 38:21Speaker 3: in the future. Years in the future, we will look
- 38:23Speaker 3: back and say, what in the hell did America do?
- 38:28Speaker 3: Shutting much of the country down for a year or more,
- 38:31Speaker 3: many parts of the country, almost all Democrat parts of
- 38:34Speaker 3: the country, shut businesses down, shut churches down, shut schools down.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Many schools tens of millions of kids were out of
- 38:42Speaker 3: school for over a year, and the consequence was cataclysmic.
- 38:47Speaker 3: It is, without exaggeration, the most catastrophic public policy decision
- 38:53Speaker 3: of our lifetimes. And so states need to say we're
- 38:57Speaker 3: not going down that road again. No, we're not going
- 39:00Speaker 3: to do it. Look, you know the school shutdowns were bad.
- 39:03Speaker 3: When Randy Weinngarten, the head of one of the big
- 39:04Speaker 3: teachers unions, is now suddenly claiming I wasn't for school shutdowns,
- 39:09Speaker 3: despite the fact that she fought relentlessly for school shutdowns
- 39:12Speaker 3: and caused Democratic politicians to jump on a string when
- 39:16Speaker 3: she demanded it. Now even she's running away from it,
- 39:20Speaker 3: States need to stand up and say we're not shutting
- 39:22Speaker 3: anything down. Look, if there's another public health crisis, and
- 39:26Speaker 3: at some point there will be, protect people who are vulnerable,
- 39:30Speaker 3: work to provide treatment options, give people advice on how
- 39:33Speaker 3: to keep safe, but respect their individual liberty, and don't
- 39:37Speaker 3: engage in arbitrary shutdowns and mandates. The mandates are wrong.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Say no to the mandates.
