- 0:00Speaker 1: I hear that he's coming on Friday. Certainly it's okay
- 0:03Speaker 1: with maybe'd like to and he would like to sign
- 0:05Speaker 1: it together with me. And I understand that's a big deal,
- 0:07Speaker 1: very big deal. The American people, even if you look
- 0:10Speaker 1: at Poland they're very happy because you know, Biden was
- 0:12Speaker 1: throwing money around like it'scott and candy. But the American
- 0:15Speaker 1: taxpayer now is going to get that money back.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Bus you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
- 0:20Speaker 2: Ben Ferguson.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Good Wednesday morning.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Ben Ferguson with you, and here are the big stories
- 0:25Speaker 4: we're covering on the forty seven Morning Update. First up,
- 0:28Speaker 4: four point five trillion in tax cuts has passed the
- 0:32Speaker 4: House of Representatives, all part of Donald Trump's plan.
- 0:35Speaker 3: What does this mean for you? I'll explain it in
- 0:38Speaker 3: just a moment.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Also, a Texas rancher has been murdered by a cartel
- 0:44Speaker 4: ied proof yet again that Trump was right to declare
- 0:48Speaker 4: them terrorist organizations.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Those details as well.
- 0:51Speaker 4: And finally, the FBI is turning on the deep state
- 0:55Speaker 4: that went after Donald Trump with a real FBI investigation
- 1:00Speaker 4: of what they were doing that may have been illegal
- 1:03Speaker 4: against the President. It's the forty seven morning update and
- 1:06Speaker 4: it starts right now.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Story number one.
- 1:08Speaker 4: It was a massive victory for Donald Trump, for the
- 1:11Speaker 4: Republican Party, and for Speaker Johnson. But even bigger than that,
- 1:15Speaker 4: it's a massive win for the American taxpayers. As Donald
- 1:20Speaker 4: Trump's budget with a four point five trillion dollars in
- 1:25Speaker 4: tax cuts passed a House vote. The massive GOP bill
- 1:30Speaker 4: would also direct four trillion towards raising the debt limit.
- 1:34Speaker 4: The House of Representatives adopted the resolution that will eventually
- 1:37Speaker 4: become a massive multi trillion dollar bill full of President
- 1:41Speaker 4: Donald Trump's priorities on the border, on defense, on energy,
- 1:46Speaker 4: and tax cuts for you. This was the biggest victory
- 1:49Speaker 4: for the House GOP leadership so far, the resolution passing
- 1:53Speaker 4: in a very tight vote two seventeen to two fifteen.
- 1:57Speaker 4: All Democrats vote against the measure to cut your taxes,
- 2:01Speaker 4: along with lone Republican rebel Representative Thomas Massey, a Republican
- 2:06Speaker 4: from Kentucky who was concerned about its effects on the
- 2:10Speaker 4: national deficit. Now, the next step is now for the
- 2:14Speaker 4: relevant House committees to meet and build their own proposals,
- 2:17Speaker 4: which will eventually be returned into the framework and then
- 2:20Speaker 4: negotiated into a compromise deal with the Senate Republican leadership.
- 2:26Speaker 4: It was a intent scene in the House chamber on
- 2:29Speaker 4: Monday night, as Republican leaders delayed formally ending a vote
- 2:33Speaker 4: for almost forty five minutes as they worked to convince
- 2:37Speaker 4: conservative fiscal hawks to support the legislation. When you have
- 2:41Speaker 4: a thin majority in the House, this is exactly what
- 2:44Speaker 4: everyone expected to happen now. Impatient Democrats called out loud
- 2:49Speaker 4: for the vote to be closed as Republicans huddled in
- 2:52Speaker 4: various groups trying to make sure they could get the
- 2:55Speaker 4: numbers to win. Two people on the four of the
- 2:58Speaker 4: House even telling Fox News the President Donald Trump got
- 3:02Speaker 4: involved at one point, speaking to one of the holdouts,
- 3:05Speaker 4: Representative Victoria Sparks, a Republican from Indiana, speaking to her
- 3:10Speaker 4: by phone. Representative Tim Burchett, a Republican from Tennessee, and
- 3:15Speaker 4: Warren Davison, a Republican from Ohio, could be seen on
- 3:18Speaker 4: the phone at other points on the House floor as well,
- 3:21Speaker 4: but it's not clear if they were speaking directly to
- 3:23Speaker 4: the President. At one point, the House GOP leaders appeared
- 3:27Speaker 4: to lose confidence that they had enough support and abruptly
- 3:31Speaker 4: canceled the plan vote moments later, however, lawmakers on both
- 3:35Speaker 4: sides of the aisle were rushing back to the House
- 3:37Speaker 4: floor and then they were told the vote would be held. Meanwhile,
- 3:42Speaker 4: three ouced Democrats who had been absent earlier in the
- 3:45Speaker 4: day returned for the Tuesday evening vote in a dramatic fashion.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Representative Brittany Peterson, a Democrat from Colorado who had a
- 3:54Speaker 4: baby roughly a month ago, returned to the House floor
- 3:57Speaker 4: with her infant to oppose the bill. The Representative Kevin Muhen,
- 4:01Speaker 4: a Republican from California, who was recently hospitalized for an infection,
- 4:05Speaker 4: appeared in the chamber aided by a walker. House and
- 4:08Speaker 4: Senate Republicans are aiming now to use their majorities to
- 4:11Speaker 4: advance Donald Trump's agenda via the budget reconciliation process.
- 4:16Speaker 3: So what happens next.
- 4:18Speaker 4: It is on to the Senate to negotiate with the
- 4:20Speaker 4: House to come up with a final bill that they
- 4:23Speaker 4: can agree on to then send it hopefully to the
- 4:25Speaker 4: President's desk to be signed. Make no mistake, this was
- 4:28Speaker 4: a massive victory for the American voters, for taxpayers, and
- 4:33Speaker 4: for Donald Trump's agenda.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Now story number two, the.
- 4:36Speaker 4: President of the United States of America Donald Trump made
- 4:38Speaker 4: it very clear during the campaign that he believed the
- 4:41Speaker 4: cartels in Mexico are in fact terrists organizations. He made
- 4:44Speaker 4: good on that pledge to go after them by declaring
- 4:47Speaker 4: them terrorist organizations, which changes the way that the American
- 4:51Speaker 4: government can interact with all of these cartels. Well, what
- 4:55Speaker 4: makes them terrorists? Look at the latest headline, A Texas
- 4:59Speaker 4: border ran has now been murdered near the border by
- 5:03Speaker 4: a suspected cartel ied the same type of IDs that
- 5:07Speaker 4: we see in war in the Middle East. The Texas
- 5:10Speaker 4: Department of Agriculture has confirmed the report and an officials
- 5:14Speaker 4: issued an urgent safety warning for the Rio Grande Valley.
- 5:18Speaker 4: The rancher was a man Antonio who was seventy four.
- 5:22Speaker 4: He worked on both sides of the border, along with
- 5:25Speaker 4: another individual by the name of Lopez Pena that were
- 5:29Speaker 4: killed in the blast on the border with Mexico just
- 5:34Speaker 4: south of Brownsville, Texas. Lopez's wife was hospitalized as well
- 5:39Speaker 4: with injuries. The man was driving on his ranch when
- 5:43Speaker 4: he hit the explosive device, causing it to detonate that
- 5:47Speaker 4: according to local reports, The Texas Agricultural Commissioner Sid Miller
- 5:52Speaker 4: said the deadly explosion is part of a growing threat
- 5:55Speaker 4: posed by cartel activity along our southern border and encourages
- 6:00Speaker 4: ranchers to exercise now.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Extreme caution in the area. Quote.
- 6:05Speaker 4: I encourage everyone in the agricultural industry to stay vigilant,
- 6:08Speaker 4: remain aware of their surroundings, and report any suspicious activity
- 6:12Speaker 4: to law enforcement. Additionally, you can avoid dirt roads and
- 6:17Speaker 4: remote areas, Refrain from touching unfamiliar objects that could be
- 6:22Speaker 4: explosive devices, limit travel to daylight hours, stay on main roads,
- 6:27Speaker 4: and avoid cartel controlled regions, Miller said in the statement.
- 6:31Speaker 4: The man's son, a US Army veteran who was also
- 6:35Speaker 4: injured by an ied during a deployment, was shocked to
- 6:39Speaker 4: learn of his father's killing back home.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Quote.
- 6:42Speaker 4: I consider this a terrorist attack because I went to
- 6:45Speaker 4: war to fight terraces and I'm seeing the same thing here.
- 6:48Speaker 4: To me, my personal opinion, it's a terrorist attack. Now,
- 6:52Speaker 4: this isn't the first time we have seen these types
- 6:55Speaker 4: of warnings. Border agents are receiving warnings about increased threats
- 6:59Speaker 4: from cartel, and the Trump administration has responded, like I
- 7:03Speaker 4: said earlier, by designating many of them as foreign terrorist organizations.
- 7:07Speaker 4: So if you think the President was overreacting. Just know
- 7:11Speaker 4: that there are men and women on the border, ranchers
- 7:16Speaker 4: in agriculture who are now being blown up and murdered
- 7:20Speaker 4: by the cartels using IEDs the same way that they
- 7:24Speaker 4: are used in Iraq, Afghanistan and against the people in Israel.
- 7:29Speaker 2: And here is story number three.
- 7:30Speaker 4: The Federal Bureau of Investigations has now officially told the
- 7:34Speaker 4: world that they are investigating a secret honeypot operation that
- 7:40Speaker 4: targeted President Donald Trump's twenty sixteen presidential campaign. That according
- 7:46Speaker 4: to a recent report, the FBI director Cashpttel, who was
- 7:50Speaker 4: recently confirmed and sworn in, and the FBI Deputy Director
- 7:54Speaker 4: Dan Bongino are reportedly looking for two female agents who
- 7:59Speaker 4: took part in an off the book investigation quote unquote
- 8:04Speaker 4: that former FBI Director James Comy launched in twenty fifteen.
- 8:08Speaker 4: This according to The Washington Times, the agents who were
- 8:13Speaker 4: undercover were called quote honeypot agents, a term that refers
- 8:18Speaker 4: to an undercover operative, usually a woman with sexual or
- 8:23Speaker 4: romantic interests, used to obtain information from a target. Again
- 8:28Speaker 4: this coming from the Washington Times. Now, this comes after
- 8:33Speaker 4: The Times previously reported in October of twenty twenty four
- 8:37Speaker 4: that the House Judiciary Committee was looking into a whistleblower's
- 8:40Speaker 4: claim that the agency targeted Trump soon after he announced
- 8:45Speaker 4: his presidential campaign and June of twenty sixteen, in what
- 8:49Speaker 4: was described as a phishing expedition to quote find something.
- 8:54Speaker 4: In a protected disclosure, the whistle blower an FBI agent,
- 8:58Speaker 4: claim that two undercover agents had infiltrated Trump's presidential campaign.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Remember when Donald Trump said his campaign was spied on. Well,
- 9:09Speaker 4: apparently they were sitting in attractive females to try to
- 9:12Speaker 4: get in tell or to set up the president again.
- 9:15Speaker 4: This was during his campaign run to become president in sixteen,
- 9:19Speaker 4: and had been instructed these women to act as quote
- 9:23Speaker 4: honeypots while traveling with Donald J.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Trump.
- 9:26Speaker 4: According to the outlet, the agent quote personally knew that
- 9:30Speaker 4: mister Comy ordered an FBI investigation against mister Trump, and
- 9:35Speaker 4: that mister Comy quote personally directed it quote unquote. According
- 9:39Speaker 4: to the disclosure, the off the book's investigation did not
- 9:44Speaker 4: appear to target a specific crime either, but was more
- 9:48Speaker 4: of what agents would describe as a phishing expedition to
- 9:51Speaker 4: find something, find anything that could be used against Donald Trump.
- 9:58Speaker 4: The outlet also noted that the whistleblower's disclosure claimed that
- 10:02Speaker 4: the investigation was different from Crossfire Hurricane, which targeted Russian
- 10:07Speaker 4: quote collusion. We all know that was obviously a big lie.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Bright Bart News also previously reported that during Trump's first
- 10:15Speaker 4: term in office, he ordered more documents from Operation Crossfire
- 10:19Speaker 4: Hurricane to be declassified. I determined that the materials in
- 10:24Speaker 4: that binder should be declassified to the maximum extent possible.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Is what Donald Trump said in twenty twenty one.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Now there's many that are going to say this is
- 10:33Speaker 4: Donald Trump going after his quote political enemies. If you
- 10:37Speaker 4: look at the facts, it's very clear that's not the case.
- 10:40Speaker 4: In reality, this is the FBI investigating a secret honeypot
- 10:45Speaker 4: operation targeting Donald Trump's campaign and trying to alter the
- 10:49Speaker 4: outcome of an election.
