- 2:14Speaker 9: Man.
- 2:14Speaker 2: God been good to me. Man, he been so good
- 2:18Speaker 2: to me. Wow. And and you know why I say
- 2:24Speaker 2: it like that.
- 2:24Speaker 8: What makes it amazing is because it's been in spite
- 2:26Speaker 8: of myself.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I mean, you know what I mean by that. I
- 2:31Speaker 2: mean I mean that he's been good to me.
- 2:35Speaker 8: In spite of all the craziness I've done, all the
- 2:39Speaker 8: foolishness I've gotten myself involved with, and not only got
- 2:43Speaker 8: but knowingly got myself involved with, all of the stupid
- 2:49Speaker 8: decisions I've made. Put all that to the side, and
- 2:55Speaker 8: he's still been good to me. Bring it all and
- 2:58Speaker 8: put it on the plate, and he's Steve being good
- 3:00Speaker 8: to me.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Man. That's amazing.
- 3:02Speaker 8: Man, And I'm sure there's a lot of people that
- 3:04Speaker 8: can say the exact same thing.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I mean, come on, man, I got you.
- 3:09Speaker 8: Ain't famous, I got ain't nobody, got no microphone in
- 3:12Speaker 8: your face. I got nobody, ain't got no spotlight on you.
- 3:14Speaker 8: I got nobody, ain't got no camera in your face.
- 3:16Speaker 8: I got nobody. Probably ain't nobody blogging about you. But
- 3:19Speaker 8: let me tell you something. If you break it down
- 3:21Speaker 8: and be real about it, Oh you done done something
- 3:24Speaker 8: outside the box. You done done something ladies included. You've
- 3:27Speaker 8: done something out the box. You woke up and went
- 3:30Speaker 8: what did I do that for?
- 3:33Speaker 2: Oh?
- 3:33Speaker 8: We've all done it. So with all that said and done,
- 3:38Speaker 8: God still loves you, man, God still loves you, still
- 3:42Speaker 8: wants the best for you, still considers you his child.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And it's willing. It's willing man to show you your future.
- 3:50Speaker 2: He is willing to show you your life. He is
- 3:53Speaker 2: willing to let you take a peek at the blueprint. Man.
- 3:58Speaker 8: That's an amazing God right there. Because I know I
- 4:01Speaker 8: couldn't do it. I couldn't do it. I'm glad it's him,
- 4:05Speaker 8: you know. Today, Man, I want to encourage brothers out there,
- 4:08Speaker 8: and when I say, brothers, I'm talking to everybody that's
- 4:10Speaker 8: of the male species. I don't care about your color.
- 4:13Speaker 8: I really really don't. I don't even have time for
- 4:15Speaker 8: that in my day. Matter of fact, sometimes when you
- 4:18Speaker 8: get to discuss and race, I just get tired of it.
- 4:21Speaker 8: Sometimes I just wish, you know, some days I just
- 4:24Speaker 8: want to wake up, just do me. You know, I
- 4:27Speaker 8: got what the skin tone is, I got that, But
- 4:30Speaker 8: I just want to wake up some days and just
- 4:32Speaker 8: going by my business and do me. I don't want
- 4:34Speaker 8: to have to deal with somebody. I get tired of
- 4:35Speaker 8: talking about the issues. Ain't gonna make them go away,
- 4:38Speaker 8: But sometimes I get tired. So to day, I'm talking
- 4:39Speaker 8: to brothers, all the brothers of the male species. I'm
- 4:43Speaker 8: talking about men today. Man, if you ain't doing it all,
- 4:49Speaker 8: if you're feel an empty man, start today completing your
- 4:52Speaker 8: process and your journey.
- 4:54Speaker 2: And you know what I'm.
- 4:55Speaker 8: Saying by that, if there's a part of you just
- 4:58Speaker 8: missing as a man, and now, man, I'm talking to you.
- 5:02Speaker 8: So you know, some ladies listening, but you know what
- 5:05Speaker 8: I'm talking about. It's some part of you that's missing
- 5:08Speaker 8: as a man. If you ain't really been in touch
- 5:11Speaker 8: with your kids like you're supposed to now, for whatever
- 5:14Speaker 8: the reason is. And please know, I do understand how
- 5:19Speaker 8: sometimes women can use children as pawns. It happens all
- 5:24Speaker 8: the time. I've been through it. I've been through it, man,
- 5:28Speaker 8: I know what it feels like, man, to wanna do something.
- 5:31Speaker 8: But because you ain't got this or you ain't doing this,
- 5:33Speaker 8: then I ain't gonna let you have this. You gotta
- 5:36Speaker 8: fight through, fellas, you got to fight through. You got
- 5:41Speaker 8: to fulfill your end of the deal. And I got
- 5:45Speaker 8: how difficult they making it. I got how man, it's
- 5:48Speaker 8: gonna come with some drama, but you gotta fight through it.
- 5:51Speaker 8: Because man, we need fathers to be fathers. That's really
- 5:55Speaker 8: what we need. If you're a man out there and
- 5:57Speaker 8: you are a father of a child, we need you
- 6:00Speaker 8: do your job.
- 6:02Speaker 2: I'm talking about.
- 6:04Speaker 8: Our community, our situation, us as a people, all of us.
- 6:10Speaker 8: We need you to be a father period. Hey man,
- 6:15Speaker 8: I ain't coming down on you. I'm just your boy.
- 6:18Speaker 8: I'm your man. And I've been in the same predicament,
- 6:21Speaker 8: in the same hole myself, where I couldn't get to them,
- 6:25Speaker 8: where they were used as pawns, where they were told
- 6:29Speaker 8: things about me, that wasn't even true. I've been through it.
- 6:33Speaker 8: You can't see them, you don't come up. Okay, okay,
- 6:35Speaker 8: I got all that. You ain't sent this. You ain't okay,
- 6:37Speaker 8: hey got all that. If you can call them sometimes,
- 6:43Speaker 8: tell them you thinking about them, tell them you love them.
- 6:47Speaker 8: If you can get a letter to them, if you
- 6:49Speaker 8: can get a message to your children through one of
- 6:51Speaker 8: your relatives, start the process today.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Be a father. It's your job.
- 6:59Speaker 8: Now, because because you ignoring him, are you acting like
- 7:02Speaker 8: they ain't over there? Or you thee backed him out
- 7:04Speaker 8: of your mind because the situation got too difficult. I
- 7:08Speaker 8: got that. I got that, But you got to step
- 7:11Speaker 8: up and be fathers. You got to write a letter.
- 7:14Speaker 8: You gotta send the money if she talking about If
- 7:16Speaker 8: you don't send all the money, you ain't gonna see him.
- 7:18Speaker 8: Send what you got if she if taking it over
- 7:20Speaker 8: there is too much drama, send it through a relative,
- 7:23Speaker 8: Give it to a mama, give it to her sister,
- 7:25Speaker 8: ask her to take it over there and do something
- 7:27Speaker 8: for the baby. Because okay, okay, you can't deal with
- 7:30Speaker 8: the drama. I got that, and I know it's much
- 7:33Speaker 8: to pay when you have to deal with that. Because clearly.
- 7:36Speaker 8: I know hell have no fury like a woman's going
- 7:39Speaker 8: Please know. I know that, please know. And that's a
- 7:42Speaker 8: real statement. That ain't no saying. Steve got That's that's
- 7:46Speaker 8: the truth. But do what you gotta do. Sometimes you
- 7:51Speaker 8: have to apologize. Sometimes an apology goes a long way
- 7:55Speaker 8: to your children. Just say, look, because I've made this
- 7:59Speaker 8: upontology before. Hey man, look I'm sorry. I wasn't there
- 8:04Speaker 8: for you. I was out grinding and hustling and I
- 8:07Speaker 8: wasn't paying attention to you, and I should have been.
- 8:11Speaker 8: And I apologize. And I imagine, man, there's days where
- 8:14Speaker 8: you was telling people I was your father up at
- 8:16Speaker 8: the school and they wasn't believing you. I apologize for
- 8:19Speaker 8: sending you through that. But now, ma'am, I tell you what.
- 8:24Speaker 8: I made some mistakes, and I got it together. I
- 8:26Speaker 8: want me and you to move forward as father and son.
- 8:29Speaker 8: I want me and you to move forward as father
- 8:31Speaker 8: and daughter. I want to be in your life now.
- 8:33Speaker 8: I ain't got a lot, but guess what, I know
- 8:36Speaker 8: a lot because if you a man and you a father,
- 8:38Speaker 8: please know, you know something that child don't know. You
- 8:41Speaker 8: have information, you have experience. That's all they need sometimes
- 8:45Speaker 8: to have somebody.
- 8:46Speaker 2: To talk to.
- 8:47Speaker 8: That daughter yours just needs to know from her daddy,
- 8:51Speaker 8: how should a man treat me?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Dad? What should I look for in a man?
- 8:56Speaker 8: See, they'll take that information from you because they know
- 8:59Speaker 8: it's coming from the right place. And then you know
- 9:02Speaker 8: that your son needs you because you know how difficult
- 9:06Speaker 8: it is if you're trying to be a man without
- 9:08Speaker 8: your daddy. You already know how funky that is, right there.
- 9:13Speaker 8: So come on, man and meet your mistakes and move forward.
- 9:16Speaker 8: Call your kids, write a letter, get a phone number
- 9:20Speaker 8: on them, send a text, drop a message, send a
- 9:23Speaker 8: note up to the school.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Do something. Man.
- 9:27Speaker 8: If those of us that are fathers would just be fathers,
- 9:31Speaker 8: I could shut the minering camp down.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Now.
- 9:36Speaker 8: I will say I apologize because I don't want you
- 9:38Speaker 8: to think I'm coming down on you. But I've been
- 9:40Speaker 8: through this myself. I ain't really coming down. I'm just
- 9:43Speaker 8: reminding you. This is our job. These are our children,
- 9:47Speaker 8: this is our responsibility. We are men. There is no excuses.
- 9:52Speaker 8: You don't get you don't get cut a brake on
- 9:55Speaker 8: that one.
- 9:55Speaker 10: Sorry you're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 8: Show ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please?
- 10:06Speaker 8: And the reason I'm asking for it is because when
- 10:08Speaker 8: I get it, I'm gonna do something with it. Now,
- 10:12Speaker 8: now that I have your attention, here we go. You're
- 10:16Speaker 8: about to be enlightened, a little bit frightened, educated, but
- 10:23Speaker 8: then sometimes a little miseducated. You're gonna be entertained, while
- 10:29Speaker 8: at the same time start the process.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Of being interchanged.
- 10:33Speaker 8: Then we're gonna stimulate, but we're not gonna try to annihilate.
- 10:39Speaker 8: And in other words, when you summer all this up,
- 10:43Speaker 8: in the words of one of my dear, dear friends,
- 10:46Speaker 8: the Steve Harvey Morning Show is about to tare their
- 10:49Speaker 8: mouth out. And the word is mouth, MoU f f mouth.
- 10:57Speaker 8: That's how we say it, that's how we spell it.
- 11:00Speaker 8: Welcome to the show, Sureley straw Ben.
- 11:02Speaker 1: That is what we do. Steve Harvey, good morning, let
- 11:06Speaker 1: him for real?
- 11:08Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 11:08Speaker 2: What's happening crew?
- 11:10Speaker 11: Hey?
- 11:10Speaker 12: Hey, hey, hey, junior morning.
- 11:13Speaker 3: You ain't like yet?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Mouse, Eva, nephew, Tommy.
- 11:18Speaker 9: Have your mouth out, hey, just take it. Yeah, tongue
- 11:24Speaker 9: and all gums all that will.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Last anything in there. What if you have gentle work,
- 11:31Speaker 2: pull that more money. You're gonna need some more work.
- 11:37Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, you look good today.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Steve, you're feeling all right?
- 11:43Speaker 2: Tell yeah, you donna feel pretty good, man.
- 11:46Speaker 8: I've changed my attitude and I feel really great. I've
- 11:51Speaker 8: taken everything, everything that I used to have to do,
- 11:55Speaker 8: I've turned it around and said I get to do it.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Has made a world of difference. My day are going
- 12:00Speaker 2: much smoother.
- 12:01Speaker 8: I've implemented the thought process of gratitude and everything I do.
- 12:06Speaker 8: And I'm just watching God to see what he got
- 12:08Speaker 8: from and next, because He's always taking care of me.
- 12:11Speaker 8: And I lived my life in the expectation that there's
- 12:13Speaker 8: some greater things on the horizon, and I'm just watchful Lord.
- 12:21Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 12:22Speaker 8: Now, what I always try to make sure I do
- 12:24Speaker 8: love is I try to give something for God to
- 12:28Speaker 8: put his finger on. You know, God can touch it
- 12:31Speaker 8: for you. I just try to give him something to touch,
- 12:35Speaker 8: you know, I put it. I got a lot of
- 12:37Speaker 8: balls in there. You know, he can take any one
- 12:42Speaker 8: of them balls he want to and just blow it.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Up, right, going to do that, But no, he did.
- 12:49Speaker 1: He did this, and turns out it's better.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Surely.
- 12:52Speaker 8: I can't really tell you how many times what I
- 12:56Speaker 8: wanted and what he gave me was two different things. Absolutely,
- 13:01Speaker 8: how I want it and how he gave it to me.
- 13:03Speaker 8: It was different time, and it was way better than
- 13:05Speaker 8: what I want.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Because his thoughts are not our thoughts.
- 13:11Speaker 8: Man, Such a blessed man to come to the realization
- 13:14Speaker 8: of how this actually works. Man, I wish I could
- 13:17Speaker 8: teach people how it works without sound and preachy, because
- 13:21Speaker 8: I'm not really qualified to do that. But I wish
- 13:24Speaker 8: I could share with people how it works.
- 13:27Speaker 9: Man, That's doable.
- 13:28Speaker 2: But you can do that.
- 13:30Speaker 3: All the time.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, well you.
- 13:34Speaker 10: Can teach him.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Well, I'm gonna try it in my clothes and remarks.
- 13:37Speaker 13: All right, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:40Speaker 13: we'll hear from the nephew as he runs that brank.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Back right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 13: You're listening morning show, all right, and it's time now
- 13:50Speaker 13: to start your morning.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Off with the nephew and run that breank back.
- 13:53Speaker 10: What you got for his neph.
- 13:54Speaker 9: The title of this is Condom clean Us. Come on
- 13:59Speaker 9: cat Condom.
- 14:03Speaker 11: Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach Tamika. Tamika, how you doing.
- 14:09Speaker 11: I'm I'm Brad from Quality Cleaners. I'm the manager over here.
- 14:14Speaker 11: Uh huh, listen, did you bring some clothes in this morning?
- 14:18Speaker 15: No? I didn't bring anything into you this morning.
- 14:21Speaker 11: Okay, Well listen, we we got an order that was
- 14:25Speaker 11: dropped off this morning.
- 14:26Speaker 9: Here.
- 14:26Speaker 11: Uh it's a couple of suits, uh, some business shirts
- 14:29Speaker 11: and a few other things. But there's actually been some
- 14:32Speaker 11: articles actually left in the clothing.
- 14:34Speaker 15: So my husband probably brought that down.
- 14:38Speaker 11: Okay, he talked about this morning. It was dropped off
- 14:41Speaker 11: like around seven this morning. But we got it's got
- 14:44Speaker 11: let's word this talk about a hundred bucks cash in
- 14:46Speaker 11: the pocket. There's a couple of business cards. Uh, there's
- 14:50Speaker 11: there's a cup link here. I looked all over. It's
- 14:52Speaker 11: only one cup link and then there's two condoms in here.
- 14:55Speaker 11: So I wanted to see if you guys wanted me
- 14:57Speaker 11: to put this in a plastic bag or something and.
- 15:00Speaker 15: It it Can you repeat what was left in there? Again?
- 15:06Speaker 11: Well, like I said, we got a uh it's like
- 15:09Speaker 11: right out one hundred maybe hundred and five bucks of cash. Uh.
- 15:12Speaker 11: There's a business card from an insurance company. There's another
- 15:16Speaker 11: business card for uh what it's this?
- 15:20Speaker 6: This is uh what else was left right?
- 15:23Speaker 11: Roll, I'm trying to tell you about all the business cards.
- 15:25Speaker 15: Don't I'm not interested in the business card because you
- 15:27Speaker 15: said something else.
- 15:28Speaker 11: Okay, No, there's a coupling that we can't and we
- 15:31Speaker 11: can't find the other coupling if it's here. We look
- 15:34Speaker 11: all over the bag to see if we can find it,
- 15:35Speaker 11: but we don't see that either.
- 15:37Speaker 15: What what else is in this pocket?
- 15:39Speaker 16: Uh?
- 15:39Speaker 11: Like, I said, you got a you got one hundred
- 15:41Speaker 11: dollars in here?
- 15:42Speaker 15: There's some Uh no, no, no, you have said something
- 15:46Speaker 15: to me.
- 15:48Speaker 11: Yes, there's business cards. There's an insurance car for.
- 15:51Speaker 15: Some business cards. You said something.
- 15:53Speaker 11: Else, A coupling, man, there's a coupling in here that
- 15:56Speaker 11: we can said something else? Oh, okay, with the last week.
- 16:01Speaker 11: There's two condoms in here. Hello, what did did you say? Uh? Like,
- 16:07Speaker 11: I said, there's one hundred dollars in here?
- 16:09Speaker 6: There's no business Did you say?
- 16:11Speaker 15: Did you say there was some condoms in there?
- 16:13Speaker 11: There's two? There's two extra large combumns in here. Hello,
- 16:18Speaker 11: I'm here.
- 16:19Speaker 15: I'm just trying to digest all the stuff that you
- 16:22Speaker 15: had just said that that was in my husband's pocket.
- 16:26Speaker 15: Now you sure that this is my husband, Chris?
- 16:29Speaker 8: Chris?
- 16:30Speaker 11: Uh? Well, it has uh? I mean maybe you know
- 16:33Speaker 11: the items man, this is there's a there's a gray suit.
- 16:37Speaker 11: There's also a solid blue suit.
- 16:39Speaker 15: That's that sounds that sounds familiar. But I'm not understanding.
- 16:43Speaker 15: What's your number that condoms.
- 16:47Speaker 11: The phone woman? That the phone number that I called
- 16:49Speaker 11: the numbers that attached to this actual order. So I mean,
- 16:54Speaker 11: this is the number we have on file? Is this
- 16:56Speaker 11: is this his number? Your home number?
- 16:58Speaker 2: Was your say?
- 16:59Speaker 11: What the number is this?
- 17:01Speaker 6: This is our house number?
- 17:03Speaker 15: I I just don't believe you know what what you're
- 17:05Speaker 15: telling me, because we just celebrated our our anniversary last
- 17:10Speaker 15: week and this is what? What?
- 17:13Speaker 11: What?
- 17:13Speaker 4: What? What?
- 17:13Speaker 9: I mean?
- 17:14Speaker 11: What's what's wrong?
- 17:14Speaker 6: Man?
- 17:15Speaker 15: What's wrong?
- 17:16Speaker 8: What?
- 17:16Speaker 15: First about we married and we never used condoms? And
- 17:20Speaker 15: then you look at calling me talking about you got
- 17:22Speaker 15: condoms left in his suit coat pocket? I'm not understand.
- 17:27Speaker 11: Okay, I know he ain't on me, well not not,
- 17:30Speaker 11: I mean not necessarily. I mean, you know they could
- 17:32Speaker 11: have been there.
- 17:33Speaker 15: Why why he laffed kinds in his pocket? That just
- 17:37Speaker 15: don't make any damn sense. If we marry and we
- 17:39Speaker 15: don't use kind of want of, what do you have
- 17:42Speaker 15: kind of in his pocket?
- 17:44Speaker 11: I don't know, man, you'd have to talk to Chris
- 17:46Speaker 11: about that one. I guess my main reason is that
- 17:48Speaker 11: you want me to wait a minute.
- 17:51Speaker 15: I wanted to know did you did you clean anything yet?
- 17:53Speaker 11: Did you clean the suit or no, we haven't cleaned.
- 17:56Speaker 11: I just I just start talking stuff and I don't
- 17:59Speaker 11: want you.
- 17:59Speaker 15: I don't want you to clean up things. And all

- 34:16Speaker 8: With two things in my head, and I'll be damn
- 34:19Speaker 8: wouldn't neither one of them. He said, boy, I raised
- 34:24Speaker 8: you to be a thinking man. Now I'm fit to
- 34:27Speaker 8: do this here, gork dare and bring that thing down here.
- 34:29Speaker 8: When I came back down that hill the third time,
- 34:31Speaker 8: I had that whole wheelbarrow. I know every thing that
- 34:37Speaker 8: was on top of that hill. I got down there
- 34:40Speaker 8: said okay, and my brother was just laughing. He said, man,
- 34:45Speaker 8: you brought all these damn tues down here. He gonna
- 34:47Speaker 8: get mad. I better gonna go back up there with there.
- 34:50Speaker 8: I wasn't bringing the wrong thing down here, he said,
- 34:53Speaker 8: all right, now get that to me. You know, I
- 34:58Speaker 8: handed him everything out there wheelbarrow until I got to

- 52:43Speaker 13: All right, let's go. Subject my sister can't have my girlfriend.
- 52:48Speaker 13: Dear Stephen Shirley, I have some news to share with you,
- 52:51Speaker 13: and I need your input. I am a thirty three
- 52:53Speaker 13: year old woman and I have a female friend that
- 52:55Speaker 13: everyone thinks is just a friend, but secretly she's my
- 53:00Speaker 13: girlfriend girlfriend as in lover. It all started about four
- 53:05Speaker 13: years ago when we both were having issues in our
- 53:08Speaker 13: love life and we started venting, crying and holding each other.
- 53:12Speaker 13: One thing led to another, and it was on. I
- 53:16Speaker 13: totally loved the experience and wish I could be with
- 53:19Speaker 13: her more, but we live in different cities. We've managed
- 53:22Speaker 13: to be discreet with everything, so no one knows anything.
- 53:26Speaker 13: She came to town two weekends ago for my son's
- 53:29Speaker 13: birthday party, and she spent most of the time laughing
- 53:32Speaker 13: and talking to my younger sister. I was kind of mad,
- 53:36Speaker 13: but I had to play it off because I didn't
- 53:38Speaker 13: want to cause the scene. After the party, I told
- 53:41Speaker 13: my girlfriend that I was a bit jealous, and she
- 53:43Speaker 13: said that it was nothing but light flirting because she
- 53:47Speaker 13: was trying to see if.
- 53:47Speaker 1: My sister was interested.
- 53:49Speaker 13: Well, after talking to my sister and jokingly asking her
- 53:53Speaker 13: what she and my girlfriend were talking about, my sister
- 53:56Speaker 13: considered it to be more than flirting, and she is
- 54:00Speaker 13: interested in my girlfriend. I was furious, but there is
- 54:04Speaker 13: nothing I can do. I didn't even know my sister
- 54:07Speaker 13: was interested in women, but she is. So here's the problem.
- 54:13Speaker 13: We are all scheduled to go to Mexico for the
- 54:16Speaker 13: fourth of July, and I am dreading this trip because
- 54:19Speaker 13: if the two of them get together, I would die.
- 54:23Speaker 9: Oh.
- 54:25Speaker 13: Oh, I fail to mention that all three of us
- 54:30Speaker 13: are married dot dot dot t men. What shall I
- 54:36Speaker 13: read that line again?
- 54:39Speaker 9: Oh?
- 54:39Speaker 13: I failed to mention that all three of us are
- 54:42Speaker 13: married dot dot dot to men. We've all been married
- 54:47Speaker 13: at least five years. My husband and my girlfriend's husband
- 54:51Speaker 13: are clueless, and now my sister is trying to cheat
- 54:54Speaker 13: on her husband with my girl. Can you help me
- 54:58Speaker 13: sort this out?
- 54:59Speaker 7: Should I be.
- 55:00Speaker 13: Jealous or not?
- 55:02Speaker 10: Well, okay, I can try.
- 55:05Speaker 13: That's all I can do is try here. Because this
- 55:08Speaker 13: is my job. I'm gonna try. Should you be jealous?
- 55:12Speaker 13: I would definitely say yes you should be jealous because
- 55:15Speaker 13: it does sound like your sister's making her move and
- 55:17Speaker 13: trying to push up on your girl and your so
- 55:21Speaker 13: called girlfriend. Sounds like she's entertaining your sister's advances. Well,
- 55:26Speaker 13: like she put it in the letter, she was just
- 55:28Speaker 13: trying to see if your sister was interested. Well, your
- 55:31Speaker 13: sister made it plaine in the letter that she is interested. Okay,
- 55:35Speaker 13: that's pretty clear. The problem in this letter is all
- 55:38Speaker 13: these secrets. It's so many secrets. You and your sister
- 55:42Speaker 13: have secrets, You and your girlfriend have secrets. You have
- 55:45Speaker 13: secrets from all of your husbands. All three of the
- 55:48Speaker 13: girls have secrets from all of their from all of
- 55:50Speaker 13: your husbands. I don't know how long these secrets are
- 55:53Speaker 13: gonna last, because if your sister and your girlfriend get together,
- 55:57Speaker 13: your jealousy is probably going to explode here because you're
- 56:00Speaker 13: already jealous just telling us about it.
- 56:03Speaker 1: You're upset with your sister.
- 56:05Speaker 13: Your sister has a lot of nerve going after your girl,
- 56:08Speaker 13: but then because of the secret, she didn't know it
- 56:10Speaker 13: was your girl. You three are gonna have to get
- 56:13Speaker 13: together and work something out if you want this to continue.
- 56:17Speaker 13: And this is crazy? Did I fail to mention that
- 56:21Speaker 13: this was crazy? Because all three of you guys are
- 56:24Speaker 13: married to men, and you're cheating.
- 56:27Speaker 10: You're cheating, all right, this is cheating.
- 56:29Speaker 13: I don't care if it's a girl on girl, it's
- 56:31Speaker 13: still cheating, okay, because the three of you guys are married.
- 56:35Speaker 13: This is a mess. I'm trying to help you sort
- 56:38Speaker 13: it out. I don't think I did a very good job.
- 56:40Speaker 10: I just know.
- 56:41Speaker 13: I just know that this is a mess, and you
- 56:46Speaker 13: guys are gonna have to work this out. I don't
- 56:48Speaker 13: think your sister should be pushing up on your girl, though,
- 56:52Speaker 13: and I don't think you should be cheating on your
- 56:54Speaker 13: husband or your girlfriend or your sister.
- 56:56Speaker 10: Steve, good luck.
- 56:59Speaker 2: I'm not even gonna try to straighten this out. It's
- 57:02Speaker 2: just SHIRLEYE.
- 57:02Speaker 8: I didn't understand when you said your sister shouldn't be
- 57:05Speaker 8: pushing up on your girl.
- 57:07Speaker 13: Yeah, the lady who wrote the letter, Uh huh, her sister.
- 57:12Speaker 13: Her sister is interested in her girlfriend, but.
- 57:15Speaker 2: Her sister don't know that that's her girlfriend.
- 57:18Speaker 11: I know that.
- 57:19Speaker 2: So what you mean she shouldn't be pushing up on her.
- 57:21Speaker 12: Well, she shouldn't.
- 57:23Speaker 10: She shouldn't be pushing up on her.
- 57:25Speaker 9: She's Yeah, of course she's married. You know that.
- 57:28Speaker 2: I just my turn.
- 57:30Speaker 8: You know what, Shirley, I ain't even gonna you did
- 57:33Speaker 8: a good job. I ain't even gonna try to figure
- 57:36Speaker 8: this out. Everybody know this ain't none of my damn lane.
- 57:41Speaker 8: Everybody know I don't know nothing about this. Everybody know
- 57:46Speaker 8: this sain't what I do.
- 57:49Speaker 2: Stop this on.
- 57:50Speaker 8: It's relationship advice, Steve, that's all you have to look
- 57:53Speaker 8: at it like, well, yeah, that's true. But when it's this,
- 57:58Speaker 8: it's three women that's married to three dudes, but three
- 58:04Speaker 8: three women is loving on each other about two. Yeah,
- 58:11Speaker 8: don't none of y'all belong to each other, and all
- 58:17Speaker 8: three of y'all belong to somebody else?
- 58:22Speaker 2: M M that church?
- 58:23Speaker 9: Amen?
- 58:24Speaker 2: Amen, don't none of y'all three belong to each other?
- 58:32Speaker 8: But all three of y'all belong to someone else. M
- 58:38Speaker 8: well in the words of being with us, I almost
- 58:40Speaker 8: single beer with this song. When we come back, you're.
- 58:45Speaker 12: About to get do that nothing the one I thank you,
- 58:56Speaker 12: but you can.
- 58:57Speaker 13: Let me just say this, see you can handle it.
- 58:59Speaker 13: I have confidence in you. We're gonna we're gonna have
- 59:01Speaker 13: part two of you come on coming up at twenty
- 59:04Speaker 13: three after the hour subject my sister can't have my girlfriend.
- 59:10Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:12Speaker 10: You're listening morning show.
- 59:15Speaker 13: All right, come on, Steve, you can do this. Let's
- 59:17Speaker 13: recap today's letter. My sister can't have my girlfriend.
- 59:22Speaker 8: Thirty three year old woman m got this friend to
- 59:25Speaker 8: hers that they didn't hear it from everybody that they
- 59:28Speaker 8: molding friends.
- 59:29Speaker 2: They really love us. She loved it.
- 59:32Speaker 8: The way they be doing it together is for her.
- 59:35Speaker 8: Wish she could do it more, but they live in
- 59:37Speaker 8: separate cities. Got together have a weekend for her son's
- 59:43Speaker 8: birthday party. She spent the whole time loft laughing and
- 59:47Speaker 8: talking to this woman's younger sister, her girl, her girl.
- 59:52Speaker 8: I was kind of mad, but I had to play
- 59:53Speaker 8: it all because I ain't want to cause a scene.
- 59:57Speaker 2: Then after the party.
- 59:58Speaker 8: I told my girlfriend I was a bit jealous, So
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: she said it was nothing but life flirting because she
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: was trying to see if my sister was interested. Then
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: I went over there and started talking my damn sister,
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: jokingly asking to her, and my girlfriend was talking about
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: my sister considered it molten flirting. Now she interested in
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: my girlfriend. I'm mad as hell, but it ain't nothing
- 1:00:20Speaker 8: nothing due I don't even know my sister was interested
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: in women. Well, I bet she ain't know you was
- 1:00:25Speaker 8: interested in women either, but she is what so is you?
- 1:00:29Speaker 9: So here is the problem. All three of y'all is
- 1:00:31Speaker 9: the problem. We are all.
- 1:00:34Speaker 8: Scheduled to go to Mexico for the fourth of July. Whoa,
- 1:00:38Speaker 8: and I'm dreading this trip because the two of them
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: getting together.
- 1:00:43Speaker 9: I would die.
- 1:00:45Speaker 8: Then I failed to mention that all three of us
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: is married to men, all right now, so crazy though
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: none of y'all I'm talking about the three women thought
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: none of y'all belong to each other, But all of
- 1:01:00Speaker 8: y'all belonged to somebody else. Y'all got husbands, y'all tripping.
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: So here's my solution for all this. We got to
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: stop some of this line. I think all six of
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: y'all or to put it all out on the table. What, Yeah,
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: I think all the women, or to go to all
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: their husbands as go hey, just so you know we
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: all care about each other. You might find out that
- 1:01:36Speaker 8: there's more caring in that group, then you got stomach
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: for what. You might find out that it's more caring
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: in that group, Then you got stomach fault.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Now you running there with that news if you want to,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: But you might.
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: Get some news of your damn own, No, man, because
- 1:01:55Speaker 8: I kind of got a feeling that one of the
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: men might know something. I bet you one of them
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: men would love to know that y'all is interested in
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: each other.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I promise you wanted them me and want to know.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Why do you say that though?
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Because he gonna want to get involved too. Yeah, I
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: want to go to Mexico? My else? Yeah?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Where they going.
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: Mexico?
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: What point oneth of July?
- 1:02:25Speaker 9: I'm available.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Three of a man. When you're a time, y'all going
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: to play golf?
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: Hurry up?
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: For the course closed?
- 1:02:31Speaker 13: So the only.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Damn it? When is y'all going to play golf? Don't
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: y'all want to go get some drinks?

- 1:03:09Speaker 2: I missed you so much. Doesn't not last laughing girl
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: with you?
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: Oh god?
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Oh I see you just got your bottoms on?
- 1:03:25Speaker 9: All right?
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Oh, that's how we're gonna do this, all right? He
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: just up in there.
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: How long you think they'll be playing golf? At least

- 1:03:49Speaker 2: I don't know why.

- 1:05:22Speaker 13: listening to Harvey Morning Show. Yeah, you're a father, you know,
- 1:05:32Speaker 13: one of the best we know. Not only do you
- 1:05:34Speaker 13: father your own biological children, but you mentor many, many
- 1:05:39Speaker 13: millions of boys around the world. So I want you
- 1:05:42Speaker 13: to tell us about the first time you became a father.
- 1:05:46Speaker 13: You didn't just have one baby, you had a set
- 1:05:48Speaker 13: of twins, Brandy and Carly.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Yeah, let's just be honest about my role as a father.
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: Every last one of my children, every last one of them,
- 1:05:58Speaker 8: was a complete damn surprised as a woman came in
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: and said to me, I'm pregnant.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: You are crazy.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Okay, so we haven't they have kind talk, so you
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: But I'll tell you though it's been I think being
- 1:06:38Speaker 8: a grandfather has been even a little bit more special
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: because I have, you know, some.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Way of seeing my name continue through my grandsons.
- 1:06:50Speaker 11: Uh.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: The granddaughters are a lot more, you know, precious. You know,
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: I never get.
- 1:06:57Speaker 8: Angry at my grandkids. I'm always in a good mood
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: with them because you know, they're not mine, so I
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: don't really care. But I think the most gratified thing
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: for me is watching my children get it right now.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: They've all made a lot of mistakes. Yeah, but I
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: have to realize that.
- 1:07:14Speaker 8: Boy, I look back at the mistakes I made, and
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: nobody could keep judging me over and over for my
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: mistakes because it wasn't no cyberspace, you know, there was
- 1:07:23Speaker 8: no Internet, was no Instagram. My children sometimes their mistakes
- 1:07:28Speaker 8: get broadcast and they have to deal with it. And
- 1:07:31Speaker 8: then they had the extra burden of being my child.
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: So now he comes to most spotlight and so it's
- 1:07:38Speaker 8: been kind of it's a tough spot to put him in.
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: But they all have made the necessary adjustments and they
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: turned out to be some really really good young people.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Man. And you know, let me be proud of a
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: lot of the accomplishments.
- 1:07:52Speaker 13: Any advice you can give to people who are dealing
- 1:07:55Speaker 13: with blended families because you have experience in that as well.
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: I mean, it's not easy, it's difficult. If you think
- 1:08:01Speaker 8: parenting is difficult, blending has the own set of challenges.
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: Just the only thing that Marjorie I did was we
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: removed the term step Okay, we don't have step children.
- 1:08:13Speaker 13: We removed.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: And they just our kids now. And you know, if
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: you want end of that party, you welcome.

- 1:16:16Speaker 1: So you never want to age mentally?
- 1:16:19Speaker 14: The hell I got all these musclefholes, but can't think.
- 1:16:23Speaker 13: It's just buffing dump fucking dumb.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: What you got hard depending on where you stop at.
- 1:16:31Speaker 13: Mentally, Okay, so today nineteen percy stop.

- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I get on to take me I ain't. I ain't
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: got to. I ain't got to think a new damn thing.

- 1:16:59Speaker 13: Seven feet tall, five feet two inches tall or seven
- 1:17:03Speaker 13: feet tall five too?
- 1:17:06Speaker 9: The hell that's too seven feet? What up there?
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: Don't you ask me?
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: That's because you ain't used to it.
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: You got about certain you can't they ain't gonta flad
- 1:17:16Speaker 9: that fits the shoes.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: I don't know that. That's you ain't used to it.
- 1:17:25Speaker 9: Take it. I'd have been in the lead.
- 1:17:29Speaker 8: F in the you can't fit in your car, But
- 1:17:31Speaker 8: it's just a permanent short ass dude right here, I.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Don't want to seven foot I can't get closed.
- 1:17:39Speaker 9: I love you, boy, that's too high up there.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: That's just all right. One last one we have.
- 1:17:48Speaker 8: I have seven feet tall. See that's only ten inches
- 1:17:51Speaker 8: from me. For you, that's two damn feet. It's too
- 1:17:57Speaker 8: high up there. I'm not going away up? What what
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: are we doing when we get up there? What is
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: only ten inches for me?
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: That's two feet for you? That's too much to walk.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: You're gonna be get your feet, balance your feet off
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: the bed.
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: You got.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: That's today's round of would you rather?
- 1:18:19Speaker 13: Coming up in forty nine minutes after the hour, our
- 1:18:21Speaker 13: last break of the day and closing remarks from the
- 1:18:23Speaker 13: one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:18:29Speaker 13: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, here we are, last
- 1:18:32Speaker 13: break of the day. Time for you to leave us
- 1:18:34Speaker 13: with some closing remarks.
- 1:18:36Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, I try to find different ways to
- 1:18:40Speaker 8: encourage people because.
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: Life.
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: Life is really challenging, man, and it's becoming even more
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: so for all of us because of social media.
- 1:18:52Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: It's like craziness. It's it's you.
- 1:18:55Speaker 8: Can become a part of the meal, so to speak.
- 1:19:01Speaker 8: You can just become a part of the meal. And
- 1:19:03Speaker 8: you don't even have to be famous. You really really
- 1:19:07Speaker 8: don't it can just be in your circle of friends
- 1:19:10Speaker 8: that you start getting hated on or something like that.
- 1:19:13Speaker 8: But it's really difficult out here. So I really try
- 1:19:15Speaker 8: to give people bits and pieces of things that happened
- 1:19:20Speaker 8: to me as I progress through my life, and I
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: maintain and I grow all the while. In spite of
- 1:19:30Speaker 8: in spite of now, two things help me. First of all,
- 1:19:34Speaker 8: my relationship with God is probably better than it's ever
- 1:19:41Speaker 8: been because I've learned some really really useful tools over
- 1:19:44Speaker 8: the past year to really really help me.
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:19:47Speaker 8: Little did I know that God was presenting these tools
- 1:19:50Speaker 8: to me so I could so I would have them
- 1:19:54Speaker 8: and be equipped for the fight that he knew was
- 1:19:57Speaker 8: coming my way.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Man, that's a.
- 1:20:00Speaker 8: Cool, cool thing to know that God taught me some
- 1:20:06Speaker 8: things before last year that was going to help me
- 1:20:11Speaker 8: with what he knew was coming my way this year.
- 1:20:13Speaker 8: So the first thing I have to attribute and give
- 1:20:16Speaker 8: credit to my relationship with God has been the real
- 1:20:21Speaker 8: root of my ability to keep moving forward in the
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: face of all circumstances, whether they seemed appeared to be
- 1:20:30Speaker 8: what they were or not. And then secondly, I have
- 1:20:35Speaker 8: learned how to shield myself. It's not that I know
- 1:20:41Speaker 8: how to shield myself. But I've learned how to put
- 1:20:45Speaker 8: a protective coding over my mind to help me deal
- 1:20:49Speaker 8: with negativity because it's just so much of it out there, man.
- 1:20:53Speaker 8: And if you get if you really listen to what
- 1:20:55Speaker 8: everybody's saying, you know you have a lot more people
- 1:20:57Speaker 8: that love you than hate. You know that the problem
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: with Haiti is it's so dog gone loud and love
- 1:21:04Speaker 8: is just so somebody call and say, hey, man, don't
- 1:21:07Speaker 8: worry about none of that. I got you back. I
- 1:21:08Speaker 8: love you, man, thank you for all you do. Your
- 1:21:11Speaker 8: real friends know the truth. It's just people who don't.
- 1:21:14Speaker 8: They have something to say. So your relationship with God
- 1:21:18Speaker 8: and this practice that I've learned of hot in the
- 1:21:20Speaker 8: coat and now how to coat my mind from negativity
- 1:21:23Speaker 8: have been two of the most powerful things that I've
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: developed over the past couple of years and last year
- 1:21:31Speaker 8: and a few months ago. That's really really helping me.
- 1:21:34Speaker 8: And so what I wanted to kind of share in
- 1:21:38Speaker 8: light of all of that in that same vein as
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: what I want you to stop doing. If you're doing this,
- 1:21:46Speaker 8: stop giving people permission to have an opinion about you, man,
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: Stop giving people permission to have an opinion about you when,
- 1:22:06Speaker 8: first of all, they don't even know you. Number two,
- 1:22:12Speaker 8: a lot of people with an opinion about you, they've
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: never met you. And here's the most important reason they
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: don't know you. They haven't met you. And you want
- 1:22:25Speaker 8: to know the real reason. You shouldn't care, because they
- 1:22:28Speaker 8: don't care. They don't care anything about you, one way
- 1:22:33Speaker 8: or another. They just riding through the system pushing buttons,
- 1:22:37Speaker 8: and you happen to be the button that they pushing today.
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: Do not give people permission to have an opinion about you,
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: and you listen to it. I stop doing that. I
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: stopped giving people my permission to have an opinion about me.
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: You don't have I'm not giving you permiss Now you
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: can go have one, but it's without my permission.
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: So therefore you can't affect me. Listen to me.
- 1:23:09Speaker 8: People, If you don't give them the permission to affect you,
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: they can't affect you. You can keep pushing on and
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: upward to your goals. Don't give them permission to turn
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: you back. Don't give them permission to stop you. Don't
- 1:23:24Speaker 8: give a person permission to ride your back. Martin Luther
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: King said, a man can't ride your back unless you
- 1:23:30Speaker 8: bend over. Stand up, stand up to some.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: Of this mess.
- 1:23:36Speaker 8: I'm not saying go down there and do something about it.
- 1:23:39Speaker 8: I'm just saying, stand up, hold your head up, square
- 1:23:42Speaker 8: your shoulders, pince your shoulder blades, get your chests out,
- 1:23:46Speaker 8: hold your chein up. Gone with your bad self. Quit
- 1:23:50Speaker 8: worrying about what they saying. Them people don't even know you.
- 1:23:56Speaker 8: Don't give these people permission to make you feel less
- 1:24:00Speaker 8: than who you really are. Your heavenly Father made you
- 1:24:04Speaker 8: you a child of God. These people didn't make you.
- 1:24:10Speaker 8: Do not give them permission. Don't give them permission to
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: be a determining factor in your life. They don't have
- 1:24:22Speaker 8: your permission to do that. They don't have the ability
- 1:24:26Speaker 8: to do that. Don't give them permission.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: To hate you.
- 1:24:30Speaker 8: Turn your back, ride your back, make you feel less,
- 1:24:34Speaker 8: be a determining factor in your life. You know why,
- 1:24:37Speaker 8: because they don't know you, they ain't never met you,
- 1:24:39Speaker 8: and they don't care about you. You should not care
- 1:24:42Speaker 8: about what they think. Those are my remarks. Talk to
- 1:24:46Speaker 8: God today. You love to hear from the people.
