- 0:10Speaker 1: everybody taken care of, perfect for women, perfect for men,
- 0:14Speaker 1: perfect for minorities, perfect for everything, and we would get
- 0:17Speaker 1: one vote for the Democrats because they lost their minds.

- 0:28Speaker 3: big and important story for you. It deals with vaccines
- 0:32Speaker 3: and parental rights being restored in Florida. The left and
- 0:36Speaker 3: the media losing their minds, including many doctors who are
- 0:40Speaker 3: furious that the state there is getting rid of vaccine mandates,
- 0:44Speaker 3: including for your kids to go to school. So why
- 0:47Speaker 3: are they so angry? We'll explain it and many of
- 0:51Speaker 3: the thoughts that I had about this. I got to

- 2:56Speaker 3: it's the forty seven Morning Update, and it starts right now.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Cause and effect is something that happens all the time. Well,
- 3:05Speaker 3: there was a major cause and effect when it came
- 3:07Speaker 3: to COVID nineteen and the lies that were told to
- 3:11Speaker 3: the American people about that vaccine and so many of
- 3:16Speaker 3: the regulations and rules that put us in a lockdown
- 3:18Speaker 3: for far too long. What happened, There's a lot of
- 3:22Speaker 3: people now asking more questions than ever about the CDC
- 3:26Speaker 3: and not trusting the CDC, not trusting them on vaccines.
- 3:30Speaker 3: It also brought up an even bigger point, should the
- 3:33Speaker 3: government be able to mandate what vaccines you have to
- 3:36Speaker 3: have for your kids? Well, Florida, they said they believe
- 3:41Speaker 3: that parents should have the rights over their children, not
- 3:45Speaker 3: the federal government when it comes to vaccines. Let me
- 3:48Speaker 3: be clear about what happened in Florida. It is not
- 3:52Speaker 3: in Florida, and this is very important, a ban on vaccines.
- 3:57Speaker 3: What Florida has now done is said parents could decide,
- 4:00Speaker 3: not the government, and that brings us to the big headline.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Liberals are losing their minds because they want the government
- 4:08Speaker 3: to be able to dictate to you what you have
- 4:10Speaker 3: to do for your children. Florida now we know plans
- 4:15Speaker 3: to eliminate all vaccine mandates, including those required for children
- 4:22Speaker 3: attending public schools. The announcement came from the Surgeon General
- 4:26Speaker 3: of Florida and was made during a press conference alongside
- 4:30Speaker 3: Governor Ron De Santis. Now, the Surgeon General describe the
- 4:34Speaker 3: mandates as oppressive and even liken them to slavery and
- 4:38Speaker 3: frame the repeal as a matter of printal choice, bodily autonomy,
- 4:42Speaker 3: and medical freedom. Florida, by the way, would become the
- 4:46Speaker 3: first US state to withdraw mandatory vaccination requirements entirely, marking
- 4:52Speaker 3: a significant shift from decades of public health policy. Now,
- 4:57Speaker 3: while the Department of Health can rescind mannate it issued administratively,
- 5:02Speaker 3: any vaccine requirements established by laws, such as those for polio,
- 5:07Speaker 3: measles and mumps, you know intentanus for example, will require
- 5:11Speaker 3: legislative action to quote unquote repeal. Well, the liberals their
- 5:17Speaker 3: minds exploded over this, as well as many in the
- 5:20Speaker 3: medical field. The American Medical Associations say that the repeal
- 5:24Speaker 3: would quote undermined decades of public health progress and dramatically
- 5:29Speaker 3: increase the risk of serious illness. Well, guess what if
- 5:33Speaker 3: you guys at the CDC and in the medical community
- 5:36Speaker 3: wouldn't have lied about the COVID vaccine and its effectiveness,
- 5:40Speaker 3: or the spread or masking or staying six feet a partners,
- 5:43Speaker 3: shutting down the schools, or any of the issues you
- 5:46Speaker 3: lied to us about with COVID, then we might actually
- 5:49Speaker 3: believe you on issues moving forward. But the reality is
- 5:53Speaker 3: Americans don't infectious disease leaders also came out warning of
- 5:59Speaker 3: likely outbreaks preventable diseases like measles and polio, especially in
- 6:02Speaker 3: schools and vulnerable populations. Florida Democrats echoed these concerns, with
- 6:09Speaker 3: Senator Jones calling it a quote grave public health risk.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Another state senator in emphasized disease like polio could return
- 6:18Speaker 3: and that would be horrific for Florida. Now, I went
- 6:21Speaker 3: on CNN Newsnight with Abby Phillips. It was the lead story,
- 6:25Speaker 3: and I want you to hear how the media is
- 6:28Speaker 3: now attacking Donald Trump for this, saying that he's going
- 6:32Speaker 3: to have kids die because of a popsey. It's been
- 6:35Speaker 3: acted in Florida. Yes, they want to fearmonger you and
- 6:39Speaker 3: control you. Yet again, listen carefully.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Joining the conversation for this one is doctor Chris Parnell.
- 6:46Speaker 4: She's the director of the NAACP Center for Health Equity
- 6:50Speaker 4: and Public Health and Preventative Medicine. Physician and doctor Parnell,
- 6:54Speaker 4: you know this well. In twenty twenty, we had thirteen
- 6:58Speaker 4: cases of measles twenty twenty five, fourteen hundred, a huge
- 7:03Speaker 4: increase in whooping cough whooping cough in this country, and
- 7:06Speaker 4: at the same time, the rates of vaccine exemptions have
- 7:10Speaker 4: gone up by about a point since twenty nineteen. None
- 7:14Speaker 4: of this is by accident, none of this is by osmosis.
- 7:17Speaker 4: And now this in Florida reckless.
- 7:21Speaker 5: If I could summon up in one word, let's just
- 7:23Speaker 5: go to some facts, and I have them here to
- 7:25Speaker 5: keep myself honest. Since the last thirty years, we've saved
- 7:30Speaker 5: over one hundred and fifty million lives because of vaccines globally.
- 7:35Speaker 5: If we begin to think about in the United States,
- 7:38Speaker 5: we've saved over one point one million children due to
- 7:42Speaker 5: vaccination since nineteen ninety four. We've prevented five hundred and
- 7:47Speaker 5: eight million illnesses in thirty two million hospitalizations. That's not
- 7:53Speaker 5: anything to wink at. That's hardcore data. But what's happening
- 7:57Speaker 5: in the United States is as if we are a
- 8:00Speaker 5: runaway train. In public health, we talk about the cliff
- 8:04Speaker 5: of good health, and we have fallen completely off of
- 8:07Speaker 5: the cliff.
- 8:08Speaker 4: That's kind of what it feels like that in a way,
- 8:10Speaker 4: Ben that everybody sitting at this table, all the folks
- 8:15Speaker 4: in Florida, all of these people who are vaccine skeptics
- 8:18Speaker 4: now have benefited from vaccines allowing them to live their
- 8:23Speaker 4: lives without polio, without measles, and now all of a
- 8:25Speaker 4: sudden they want to pull the rug out from underneath children.
- 8:29Speaker 4: That I'm surprised by it. I mean, you have kids,
- 8:31Speaker 4: A lot of us do at this table, if you
- 8:34Speaker 4: lived in Florida.
- 8:35Speaker 6: What two things they're not outlawed. That's good. The parents
- 8:39Speaker 6: are going to decide too.
- 8:41Speaker 7: There's a cause and effect.
- 8:41Speaker 6: And the CDC lied to us about COVID and they
- 8:44Speaker 6: lied a lot. They lied about masks in school, they
- 8:47Speaker 6: lied about distancing, They lied about the efficiency or the
- 8:50Speaker 6: effectiveness of the COVID nineteen vaccine.
- 8:53Speaker 4: That's true.
- 8:54Speaker 2: It is true.
- 8:55Speaker 6: I said that distancing, did they did?
- 8:57Speaker 3: They not lie about.
- 8:59Speaker 2: The effective it?
- 9:01Speaker 5: Yes, if you talk about mass if we're looking at
- 9:06Speaker 5: high quality masks, If we're looking at high quality masks, right,
- 9:10Speaker 5: so I would those mass absolutely permit infections because this
- 9:16Speaker 5: is the way science works. Science works as you get data,
- 9:19Speaker 5: the type of communication that you give, you can't say.
- 9:25Speaker 2: You can't.
- 9:25Speaker 4: I think I actually think it's important. It's very if
- 9:28Speaker 4: you're saying things that are doing the accurate. I do
- 9:32Speaker 4: think it's fair for her to count.
- 9:34Speaker 7: She said that masking was effective and work when they
- 9:36Speaker 7: knew internal documents said, it came out that it didn't work.
- 9:40Speaker 6: Okay, well, what does distance said?
- 9:44Speaker 5: Misinformation and you're seeing in it at.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Are you going to are you gonna are you going
- 9:51Speaker 4: to have a conversation? Are you just going to keep talking? Look?
- 9:54Speaker 3: Hold on?
- 9:55Speaker 4: Okay. First of all, what she is disputing is youranguage
- 10:00Speaker 4: around this, which is that they lied exactly, which she's saying.
- 10:04Speaker 4: I think she's right about this is not true. There
- 10:07Speaker 4: are certain types of mass that work better than others science.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I mean, this is this is one.
- 10:15Speaker 7: Florida did this. Let's just what you guys don't understand
- 10:17Speaker 7: that there's a cause and effect that American people don't
- 10:20Speaker 7: trust this for the reasons I said.
- 10:23Speaker 6: You may not like that, you may not like the.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Americans don't trust the CDC because RFK Junior and I.
- 10:31Speaker 6: Got the job because people.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Hold on a second, okay, man, just give me one second. Okay,
- 10:36Speaker 4: this this Florida Surgeon General has been railing against vaccines
- 10:41Speaker 4: for a while, but he's also responsible for a lot
- 10:44Speaker 4: of misinformation. He's altered key findings in a COVID nineteen
- 10:49Speaker 4: vaccine safety study. Practice he pushed things like cures like
- 10:53Speaker 4: ivermectin and others for.
- 10:57Speaker 6: Not work.
- 10:58Speaker 7: Now I have doubt that shows that did work.
- 11:00Speaker 4: No, he is pushing affect Okay, Ben, are you really
- 11:06Speaker 4: going to argue with the doctor during.
- 11:13Speaker 7: COVID You guys screwed us and we failed miserably a vaccine.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Isn't it amazing how they're so angry that you have
- 11:23Speaker 3: parents that are going to have the right to make
- 11:25Speaker 3: a decision for their children what is best for them.
- 11:29Speaker 3: They cannot stand that the government can't dictate to the people,
- 11:34Speaker 3: at least in Florida, on the issue of vaccines. They
- 11:38Speaker 3: cannot stand to admit that the reason why this happened,
- 11:42Speaker 3: the reason why RFK Juniors and the government is because
- 11:45Speaker 3: the cause of effect of the CDC lying pathologically to
- 11:49Speaker 3: the American people every step of the way on the
- 11:52Speaker 3: issue of COVID nineteen, the effectiveness of vaccines and masking
- 11:56Speaker 3: and all the other things that I just mentioned. And
- 11:59Speaker 3: they're mad that this is happening in Florida. Now, look,
- 12:03Speaker 3: I think the people in Florida should be trusted. I
- 12:06Speaker 3: think the people in Florida should have the right to
- 12:08Speaker 3: do what's best for their children. And if the doctors
- 12:12Speaker 3: are angry that they say the science is overwhelming, that
- 12:15Speaker 3: these vaccine mandates should be a thing, Well, then they
- 12:19Speaker 3: should actually talk to their patience about it with compassion
- 12:24Speaker 3: and understanding instead of the arrogance that you just heard
- 12:27Speaker 3: right there from that doctor, condescending and frustrated of anybody
- 12:32Speaker 3: that would ever question her. As a quote doctor. You
- 12:36Speaker 3: heard it, and it's amazing that we're still even having
- 12:38Speaker 3: the conversation after.
- 12:40Speaker 6: What we witness during COVID.
