- 0:01Speaker 1: Now, as you may know, Michigan Supreme Court is allowing
- 0:05Speaker 1: and this is the most disgusting headline of the year
- 0:07Speaker 1: so far from the Washington Post is allowing Donald Trump
- 0:10Speaker 1: to appear on the twenty twenty four ballot. Now, I've
- 0:13Speaker 1: spoken about this before, how disgusting it is that a
- 0:16Speaker 1: newspaper would write such a communist headline, right, allowing Trump
- 0:21Speaker 1: to appear on the ballot. It's not the job of
- 0:24Speaker 1: the government's decide who our candidates are. I've said that
- 0:27Speaker 1: before over and over again. That's what dictators and tyrants do, Right.
- 0:30Speaker 1: They allow you to vote for someone like Vadimir Putin
- 0:34Speaker 1: and no one else, or Kim Jong Ung and no
- 0:35Speaker 1: one else, or Fredel Castro and no one else. Right,
- 0:39Speaker 1: they don't allow for people that the government doesn't pick
- 0:42Speaker 1: to be in charge of the government. That's what fake
- 0:45Speaker 1: elections look like. And this is what fake elections sound like.
- 0:49Speaker 1: More importantly, what you're listening to now and what you're
- 0:54Speaker 1: witnessing this country is a communist, socialist Marxist media putting
- 0:58Speaker 1: out propaganda on behalf of those in the government that
- 1:03Speaker 1: they support, which is the Biden regime. When they write
- 1:06Speaker 1: headlines like Michigan Supreme Court allows Trump to appear. You know,
- 1:11Speaker 1: we've lost this country and it's under attack.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Thank goodness, Donald Trump's name is going to appear on
- 1:19Speaker 1: Michigan's primary ballot. The fact that I'm even having to
- 1:22Speaker 1: have this conversation is also insane. But Colorado and other
- 1:27Speaker 1: states are still going all out anti democratic, trying to
- 1:31Speaker 1: tell you who you can vote for, who you even
- 1:34Speaker 1: should have the option of voting for. Take a listen
- 1:38Speaker 1: to this. Kaylie Mcananny talking about this right now on
- 1:44Speaker 1: Fox News, and it was a very interesting conversation that
- 1:47Speaker 1: she had with Weisenberg.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Listen carefully.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Russia's giving the angle a serious case of deja vu
- 1:55Speaker 3: after it's now banning an anti war candidate from challenging Putin,
- 2:00Speaker 3: the Electoral Commission voting unanimously to reject an independent candidate's
- 2:04Speaker 3: candidacy just three days after her application, citing one hundred
- 2:09Speaker 3: mistakes on her forms, because that's what happens in autocracies,
- 2:14Speaker 3: that's what happens in dictatorships. In fact, the Electoral Commission
- 2:18Speaker 3: of Russia acknowledged that twenty nine people have filed to
- 2:21Speaker 3: run for the Russian presidency, but just one candidate is
- 2:24Speaker 3: actually able to register. I wonder who it is that's
- 2:28Speaker 3: right putin. Meanwhile, here in the United States and Colorado,
- 2:32Speaker 3: in a four to three ruling, justices declared Donald J.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Trump ineligible for the ballot, citing Section three of the
- 2:39Speaker 3: fourteenth Amendment. To be clear, this is an eighteen sixty
- 2:42Speaker 3: eight amendment that was passed in the wake of the
- 2:44Speaker 3: Civil War. It's been used only a handful of times
- 2:48Speaker 3: to go after Confederates. But bring in Donald J. Trump
- 2:53Speaker 3: and let's delegitimize him from the bench with a novel
- 2:56Speaker 3: and bogus legal theory. The ruling is sure to be
- 2:59Speaker 3: appealed to the Supreme Court. But is it yet another
- 3:02Speaker 3: attempt at election interference? First it was Russian collusion, then
- 3:07Speaker 3: to impeachments, then the so called unverified Hunter laptop. Oh wait,
- 3:11Speaker 3: they verified that one, and then you got the four indictments,
- 3:15Speaker 3: and now just qualification from the ballot. Sensing a pattern,
- 3:18Speaker 3: I certainly am. And if you think you could just
- 3:20Speaker 3: write in Donald J. Trump, well think again. The Colorado
- 3:24Speaker 3: decision reads the secretary may not list President Trump's name
- 3:27Speaker 3: on the twenty twenty four presidential primary ballot, nor may
- 3:31Speaker 3: she count any write in votes cast for him. That
- 3:35Speaker 3: sounds like Russia, not the United States of America. Joining
- 3:39Speaker 3: US now is former Deputy Independent Council and Fox News
- 3:42Speaker 3: contributor Saul Weisenberg saw. I mean, you can't even write
- 3:46Speaker 3: in the guy's name. What's going on here in the
- 3:49Speaker 3: Supreme Court? What do you think is the trajectory to
- 3:51Speaker 3: hopefully overturning this?
- 3:53Speaker 4: Oh, I think the Supreme Court is going to take
- 3:55Speaker 4: the case, and I think they're going to reverse the
- 4:00Speaker 4: Colorado Supreme Court fairly quickly.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Fairly quickly. So do you think, you know, history serves
- 4:06Speaker 3: you have all of these five to four decisions very narrow.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Do you think we could see a nine to zero
- 4:11Speaker 3: reversal some of those justices move over.
- 4:14Speaker 4: I would certainly like to see that, Kaylie. You know,
- 4:16Speaker 4: they're going to have to look at a lot of
- 4:18Speaker 4: things this term that relate to President Trump. They're going
- 4:21Speaker 4: to have I think they're going to take a look
- 4:23Speaker 4: at presidential immunity in the context of criminal prosecutions. I
- 4:28Speaker 4: think they may take a look at the gag order.
- 4:30Speaker 4: And I think it's very important that they try to
- 4:32Speaker 4: decide this with as much unanimity as they can and
- 4:36Speaker 4: I really think this will not be a particularly close decision.
- 4:40Speaker 4: This section of the fourteenth Amendment that the Colorado Supreme
- 4:44Speaker 4: Court utilized the majority is simply not self executing in
- 4:48Speaker 4: my view, and that was a position of the then
- 4:51Speaker 4: Chief Justice of the United States, Salman Chase, in eighteen
- 4:55Speaker 4: sixty nine, less than one year after the fourteenth Amendment
- 4:59Speaker 4: was radic I don't see this as much so much
- 5:02Speaker 4: as an issue of election interference, though it is as
- 5:06Speaker 4: another example of Trump derangement syndrome, this time in the judiciary.
- 5:12Speaker 2: And I point out I.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Say this not as a political supporter of President Trump.
- 5:16Speaker 4: I've never politically supported President Trump. But these efforts are very,
- 5:21Speaker 4: very disturbing and they're very anti democratic.
- 5:24Speaker 3: And you know, I would love to know your theory
- 5:26Speaker 3: on this, but I've heard other legal analysts say, and
- 5:29Speaker 3: you know this. You know, I went to law school, textualism.
- 5:32Speaker 3: You've got history, you've got president, and a lot of
- 5:34Speaker 3: folks say, there's a reason the president is enlisted in
- 5:37Speaker 3: this section. They list all these other officeholders, but they
- 5:40Speaker 3: don't list the president. And you read that with intention,
- 5:44Speaker 3: by design. Our founders thought about each and every single word.
- 5:47Speaker 3: So do you think this Section three of the Fourteenth
- 5:49Speaker 3: Amendment even applies to a former president.
- 5:52Speaker 4: You know, that's very much disputed. I think they're good
- 5:54Speaker 4: arguments on both sides. It's certainly not clear to me
- 5:59Speaker 4: that it does apply to the president. And then if
- 6:02Speaker 4: it's not clear, as you know, if the text isn't clear,
- 6:04Speaker 4: then you get to go to history and structure and
- 6:07Speaker 4: things like that. So some of these questions are close
- 6:11Speaker 4: on this issue of what the clause means. But to me,
- 6:14Speaker 4: the critical, the critical thing which was discussed in one
- 6:19Speaker 4: of the cents. I believe it was Justice centaur or
- 6:23Speaker 4: Sam Dorr who focused on Innrie Griffin and the fact
- 6:27Speaker 4: that this is not self executing. What that means is
- 6:30Speaker 4: Congress must put teeth into this section of the fourteenth Amendment.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Congress must say here is how we are going to
- 6:37Speaker 4: enforce this disqualification clause. Now, they did that, they passed
- 6:43Speaker 4: the criminal law. It's still on the books eighteen USC.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Twenty three eighty three. Jack Smith did not indict President
- 6:52Speaker 4: former President Trump for that. So that's one critical thing.
- 6:55Speaker 4: It's not a self executing portion of the fourteenth Amendment.
- 6:59Speaker 4: And two, you have to provide due process. You have
- 7:03Speaker 4: to provide due process to somebody that you're going to
- 7:05Speaker 4: take off the ballot, and the process provided here was
- 7:09Speaker 4: an absolute joke. President Trump's people didn't have the right
- 7:12Speaker 4: to subpoena documents, they didn't have the right to subpoena witnesses.
- 7:17Speaker 4: There was not a fair trial in any sense of
- 7:19Speaker 4: the word here.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Now, no due process, not self executing. Fascinating analysis, Saul,
- 7:23Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 7:25Speaker 1: You listen to his words there right, Maybe not the
- 7:29Speaker 1: most entertaining way of putting it, but their important words, nonetheless,
- 7:34Speaker 1: which is why I wanted to play it for you.
- 7:36Speaker 1: This is a man that's explaining how our constitution works,
- 7:39Speaker 1: how the program works, how all of this is supposed
- 7:43Speaker 1: to actually work. And what you heard from him is
- 7:48Speaker 1: you have people that are trying to do exactly what
- 7:50Speaker 1: they just did in Russia. Oh, you can't be on
- 7:54Speaker 1: the ballot for these reasons. We're going to take everybody
- 7:57Speaker 1: off the ballot that we don't like.
- 8:00Speaker 2: That's what we're gonna do.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Even David Showing on CNN said this about removing Trump
- 8:09Speaker 1: from the Colorado ballet, talking about how bad it would
- 8:13Speaker 1: be and saying you can't do this in a democracy. Now, again,
- 8:18Speaker 1: this is on CNN. All right, listen carefully to what
- 8:22Speaker 1: he had to say.
- 8:22Speaker 5: There have been a handful of key points that people
- 8:25Speaker 5: who don't believe this will carry the day. Point two,
- 8:29Speaker 5: what do you think is the most effective argument for
- 8:31Speaker 5: Trump's legal team when they do appeal.
- 8:33Speaker 6: That's a great question, and you're right, you know, you
- 8:35Speaker 6: even see Trump haters saying, now, this is just terrible.
- 8:38Speaker 6: It's an abuse of the political process in a sense.
- 8:42Speaker 6: I think the most important point probably is that it
- 8:44Speaker 6: doesn't apply to president. If you look at the language
- 8:46Speaker 6: of the you know, the text of the language in
- 8:48Speaker 6: section three, they had an opportunity to say president, they didn't.
- 8:52Speaker 6: Colorado Court focuses on a discussion between two members of
- 8:56Speaker 6: the of Congress at the time. I don't think that
- 8:58Speaker 6: carries the day. And I think ultimately the substance of
- 9:02Speaker 6: issue is we don't take away the right to vote
- 9:04Speaker 6: and the right of a candidate to stand for election
- 9:06Speaker 6: under the First and fourteenth Amendments based on a finding
- 9:09Speaker 6: by a single state judge on insurrection. Is they again,
- 9:12Speaker 6: they had the chance to charge him. I think Griffin's
- 9:14Speaker 6: case is important. The eighteen sixty nine decision that says
- 9:17Speaker 6: you need federal legislation to effectuate this provision in the Constitution.
- 9:22Speaker 6: And frankly, I think also Article two, Section one really
- 9:26Speaker 6: controls what the qualifications are for a president fourteen years,
- 9:29Speaker 6: a resident thirty five years of age at least, and
- 9:31Speaker 6: the born US citizen. So I think it'd be a
- 9:34Speaker 6: terrible decision, and I think it's a terrible move quite
- 9:36Speaker 6: frankly politically, and that's why many of the Trump enemies
- 9:39Speaker 6: also don't like it in this thing at a straightforward election, is.
- 9:44Speaker 5: It not a contradiction? In the New York DA case,
- 9:46Speaker 5: they make Trump's lawyers make the argument that he is
- 9:48Speaker 5: an officer. You're saying, in this case, making the argument
- 9:50Speaker 5: that he is not is the most effective argument. Does
- 9:53Speaker 5: that contradiction matter at all? Or is that just the
- 9:56Speaker 5: reality of making legal arguments depending on domain?
- 9:58Speaker 6: But it depends on the context the use of the
- 10:00Speaker 6: term officer. But I think the question is even more
- 10:02Speaker 6: direct here, and that is whether it applies to president.
- 10:05Speaker 6: So the fallback position is, well, even though president isn't said,
- 10:09Speaker 6: it's included an officer. I don't think that's a sound argument.
- 10:12Speaker 6: They clearly knew president was a unique office. It's a
- 10:15Speaker 6: unique office. In many ways they speak about electors for
- 10:18Speaker 6: president and vice president, but I think if they intended
- 10:21Speaker 6: for it to apply to president, they would have said so.
- 10:23Speaker 6: And remember, this is a very specialized movement at the
- 10:26Speaker 6: time in the Hill on the heels of the Civil War.
- 10:29Speaker 6: But anyway, they're all very interesting arguments.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Did you notice how fast after he said this was
- 10:34Speaker 1: a terrible thing they jumped in immediately changed the conversation to, well,
- 10:38Speaker 1: hold on, let's talk about context here. Did you did
- 10:41Speaker 1: you notice that, like, oh wait, you're saying this is
- 10:43Speaker 1: a bad thing. We shouldn't do it, all right? How
- 10:45Speaker 1: do we change this real quick? How do we get
- 10:47Speaker 1: rid of this? How do we move on to something else?
- 10:49Speaker 2: We don't. We don't, we don't.
- 10:50Speaker 1: We don't need this this conversation to move that way
- 10:54Speaker 1: that quickly. Let's just let's let's run in the other
- 10:57Speaker 1: direction real fast and talk about it from a completely
- 11:01Speaker 1: separate and different perspective. They don't want to have this
- 11:03Speaker 1: conversation because they don't want you to understand what they're doing.
- 11:07Speaker 1: This is no different than what they just did in Russia.
- 11:11Speaker 1: What they did in Russia is exactly the same thing
- 11:13Speaker 1: that they're doing right now.
- 11:15Speaker 2: What they did in Russia.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Saying that that a anti war candate filled out the forums
- 11:21Speaker 1: wrong one hundred and fifty different ways, and you can't
- 11:23Speaker 1: be on the ballot so that the only person you
- 11:25Speaker 1: can vote for is Vladimir Putin is no different than
- 11:28Speaker 1: what they're trying to do the communist Socialist Marxist Democratic
- 11:32Speaker 1: Party is trying to do in America. You don't get
- 11:35Speaker 1: to vote for anybody that we don't handpick. We'll let
- 11:38Speaker 1: you have a Republican, but it's got to.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Be a lame one.
- 11:40Speaker 1: It's got to be a weak one. It's got to
- 11:42Speaker 1: be one that's uninspiring. It's got to be somebody that's
- 11:44Speaker 1: easy for us to beat. That's what it really comes
- 11:46Speaker 1: down to. Right, we'll give you a Chris Christy, Right,
- 11:49Speaker 1: we'll let you vote for someone like a I don't know,
- 11:51Speaker 1: Nikki Hayley, like. We'll let you have that moment. But
- 11:55Speaker 1: outside of that, no, we're not going to let you
- 11:58Speaker 1: have a moment. We're not gonna let you decide who
- 12:03Speaker 1: you really can or cannot vote for, who you should
- 12:05Speaker 1: or should not vote for. That we won't do. We're
- 12:07Speaker 1: not gonna let you do that. And the reason is
- 12:11Speaker 1: I think very obvious. They're afraid that too many Americans
- 12:15Speaker 1: are gonna pick Donald Trump, the same way that they
- 12:18Speaker 1: were afraid that that was gonna happen last time.
- 12:21Speaker 2: They were terrified.
- 12:23Speaker 1: They are let me let me rephrase that, they are
- 12:25Speaker 1: terrified that Donald Trump could become president the United States
- 12:29Speaker 1: of America yet again. And if he does, he will
- 12:32Speaker 1: have a mandate. The mandate will be number one to
- 12:35Speaker 1: secure the southern border. That that that is gonna happen,
- 12:38Speaker 1: all right, Like that that's just a that that's that's
- 12:41Speaker 1: that is going to happen. Securing that southern southern border
- 12:46Speaker 1: is going to be part number one on this one.
- 12:48Speaker 2: It's gonna matter.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It's gonna be what he runs on and I think
- 12:53Speaker 1: connects with voters on the most. It's gonna be about
- 12:56Speaker 1: the economy, right, that's gonna matter too. But what it
- 13:00Speaker 1: really is going to bow down too. What really is
- 13:03Speaker 1: going to matter here is that you've got a candidate
- 13:05Speaker 1: that the Democratic Party won't be able to control, and
- 13:08Speaker 1: a candate that has a mandate to go in and
- 13:11Speaker 1: blow up the deep state and to get rid of
- 13:14Speaker 1: the people that are not protecting and running this country
- 13:17Speaker 1: the right way and following the law like this is
- 13:21Speaker 1: also just a simple issue of following the law. And
- 13:24Speaker 1: if you don't follow the law, this is what happens.
- 13:28Speaker 1: You have a lawless society in a lawless country. By
- 13:32Speaker 1: the way, the White House lying this morning trying to
- 13:35Speaker 1: convince you that everything is strong with the economy. White
- 13:38Speaker 1: House President Jean Pierre on The Today Show saying this.
- 13:42Speaker 5: A recent CNBC survey found nearly two thirds of Americans
- 13:46Speaker 5: disapprove of the President's handling of the economy.
- 13:49Speaker 2: What's the disconnect here?
- 13:50Speaker 5: What does the president have to do differently so people
- 13:52Speaker 5: approve of his handling of you?
- 13:53Speaker 1: So I love that loaded question there from the Today Show?
- 13:57Speaker 1: What do they have to do to change their mind? Well,
- 14:01Speaker 1: how about just fix the damn economy? How about that?
- 14:04Speaker 1: How about you lower inflation and get interest rates back
- 14:07Speaker 1: down to affordable letter level?
- 14:09Speaker 2: Anybody want to talk about that? How about we talk about.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Those basic things that you can do, the lowering the
- 14:16Speaker 1: costs of goods and services. Can we go with that?
- 14:19Speaker 1: Maybe this, by the way, is just not hard. Okay,
- 14:23Speaker 1: But notice that they're not acting like the economy is bad, right,
- 14:26Speaker 1: They're not doing that. They're not acting like the economy
- 14:29Speaker 1: is in it, We're not working well. They're acting like
- 14:33Speaker 1: there's a simple disconnect that things are great and the
- 14:37Speaker 1: White House just isn't telling the story the right way. Prices,
- 14:40Speaker 1: by the way, and I'm going to play for you
- 14:41Speaker 1: what the White House presecutor, he says, But I want
- 14:43Speaker 1: you to understand the data. Okay, prices are up seventeen
- 14:46Speaker 1: point four percent, Real wages are down two point eight
- 14:50Speaker 1: percent under Biden. Gas prices remain thirty seven cents a
- 14:54Speaker 1: gallon higher than when Biden took office. So with that
- 14:58Speaker 1: in your head, listen to the law.
- 15:00Speaker 7: There's a lot there, right. We have seen some great
- 15:03Speaker 7: data this week that showed that consumer sentiment is up
- 15:07Speaker 7: fourteen percent this month, which is the largest jump that
- 15:09Speaker 7: we have seen in over a decade. And what that
- 15:12Speaker 7: means is that people are spending money right, whether it
- 15:15Speaker 7: is on toys and appliances that they need for themselves
- 15:19Speaker 7: or for the holidays. And so that is important, critically important.
- 15:22Speaker 7: And I think the second piece too is that as
- 15:25Speaker 7: families are traveling across the country going home, going back
- 15:28Speaker 7: to see the families for the holidays, we have seen
- 15:31Speaker 7: gas prices under three bucks at the pump per gallon
- 15:36Speaker 7: in twenty seven states. So this is the work that
- 15:38Speaker 7: the President has done. It's incredibly important. Fourteen million jobs created.
- 15:42Speaker 7: That matters, especially as we're going into twenty twenty four,
- 15:45Speaker 7: Folks are going to probably be looking for jobs. If
- 15:47Speaker 7: you think about wages going up, unemployment is under four percent.
- 15:51Speaker 7: All of these things matter. So we're going to continue
- 15:53Speaker 7: to have those conversations. And the President has said he
- 15:56Speaker 7: understands that people still feel like it's still things are
- 15:59Speaker 7: still unaffordable. That's why we're working really hard to lower costs.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Going to work really hard to lower costs? Are they?
- 16:05Speaker 1: This is the same white House that lies to you
- 16:07Speaker 1: about immigration? Where does immigration fall on the presidents to
- 16:10Speaker 1: do list? Listen to the White House lie to you
- 16:12Speaker 1: about immigration at the southern border as well?
- 16:15Speaker 8: Where does immigration fall on President Biden's to do lists?
- 16:18Speaker 2: I was thinking about a second term.
- 16:20Speaker 3: He doesn't have a Congress on his side for this.
- 16:22Speaker 7: Where does it fall in terms of a second It
- 16:24Speaker 7: is a priority. We know that as it relates to
- 16:27Speaker 7: the border security specifically, it is a priority for Americans.
- 16:30Speaker 7: That's why let's not forget on day one of this
- 16:32Speaker 7: president's administration, the first legislation that he put forth to
- 16:35Speaker 7: Congress was on immigration reform, a comprehensive immigration reform.
- 16:39Speaker 2: So it's about three years and we.
- 16:40Speaker 7: Have not seen any action on that, and we want
- 16:43Speaker 7: to work with Congress on that.
- 16:44Speaker 2: And so right now, as you.
- 16:46Speaker 7: All have reported, there's this bipartisan hopefully a by person
- 16:49Speaker 7: agreement that we will get to to deal with border
- 16:51Speaker 7: security because it's so important when Congress comes back, we
- 16:54Speaker 7: hope Congress takes action on that. But the President is
- 16:57Speaker 7: taking this very very seriously.
- 17:00Speaker 1: He's taking it very very seriously. You have record numbers
- 17:04Speaker 1: coming across now, not per month, but per day across
- 17:08Speaker 1: the southern border. And you want me to believe that
- 17:09Speaker 1: he's taking it seriously. And notice that there's zero pushback
- 17:14Speaker 1: from the Today Show. Hey, we're going to give you
- 17:16Speaker 1: a chance to lie the American people for five to
- 17:18Speaker 1: seven minutes.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Will you come on? Sure?
- 17:20Speaker 1: Love to great? All right, So when you come on,
- 17:23Speaker 1: we're going to ask you this question. But you can
- 17:25Speaker 1: say whatever you want to and we won't challenge you
- 17:28Speaker 1: at all. We won't challenge you with facts or figures.
- 17:31Speaker 1: You just put out your propaganda and we'll check the
- 17:35Speaker 1: box as quick as we possibly can. I want to
- 17:38Speaker 1: get to one other aspect of what also is happening
- 17:41Speaker 1: right now in this in the country, in the world,
- 17:44Speaker 1: and it doesn't deal with Israel, it doesn't deal with
- 17:47Speaker 1: a Ran, and I'm going to keep monitoring that for you.
- 17:49Speaker 2: But it deals with the economy.
- 17:50Speaker 1: There are a lot of people over the holidays that
- 17:53Speaker 1: we're talking about the economy and how things are changing.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Joe Biden has come out and he was asked a
- 17:58Speaker 1: simple question about the economy and just how bad the
- 18:02Speaker 1: economy is right now and how things are turning. Listen
- 18:06Speaker 1: to what Joe Biden had to say about the current
- 18:08Speaker 1: economic conditions.
- 18:10Speaker 4: About the economy through what's your outlook on the of
- 18:12Speaker 4: founding up here?
- 18:13Speaker 2: All goods, thank you, look got report of the right way,
- 18:19Speaker 2: Go start reporting it the right way.
- 18:21Speaker 1: He's mumbling his words there, but he said with the economy,
- 18:24Speaker 1: it is all good, nothing wrong with the economy, Go
- 18:29Speaker 1: and report it the right way.
- 18:31Speaker 2: The problem is Democrats are now.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Moving the opposite of that, as Democratic colleague dodging questions
- 18:40Speaker 1: on Donald Trump's economy, admitting Rocanna, saying food and gas
- 18:44Speaker 1: prices are high, along with the rent and interest rates.
- 18:49Speaker 2: That's right.
- 18:49Speaker 1: On Friday's broadcast on Fox Soution Channel America reports Representative Rocana,
- 18:53Speaker 1: Democrat from California, told the truth about where the economy is,
- 18:58Speaker 1: especially as newpolon that is showing that many Americans feel
- 19:02Speaker 1: very uneasy heading into next year.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 19:05Speaker 8: Americans have mixed feelings about the state of the economy
- 19:08Speaker 8: heading into twenty twenty four, and it's causing some alarm
- 19:11Speaker 8: among Democrats over President Biden making Bidenomics a major focus
- 19:15Speaker 8: of his reelection campaign. Let's bring in California Democratic Congressman
- 19:19Speaker 8: Rote Coana for more on this. Congressman, thanks so much
- 19:22Speaker 8: for being here. I want to start off with just
- 19:24Speaker 8: some graphics of the price change on some big sectors
- 19:30Speaker 8: since the president took office.
- 19:31Speaker 2: And now, I mean, if you look at.
- 19:33Speaker 8: Gas, it's up twenty seven percent over this period of
- 19:35Speaker 8: time that he's been in office, Electricity twenty three percent,
- 19:37Speaker 8: food twenty percent, rent eighteen percent, and if you go
- 19:41Speaker 8: over to borrowing rates, the thirty year fixed rate mortgage
- 19:44Speaker 8: is one hundred and forty percent, car loans nearly sixty.
- 19:47Speaker 8: The list goes on. So that's really what's being reflected
- 19:49Speaker 8: in the polls why people are not happy about the
- 19:53Speaker 8: state of the economy. Do you think that the president
- 19:55Speaker 8: should stick with Bidenomics.
- 19:59Speaker 5: Well, I think we have to knowledge that rents are high,
- 20:02Speaker 5: interest rates are high, food and.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Gas prices are high.
- 20:05Speaker 5: But wages also have gone up, and this president has
- 20:08Speaker 5: ushered in a manufacturing revolution to bring back jobs.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I was encouraged today.
- 20:13Speaker 4: That Sethtary Romando said no, we're not going to allow
- 20:17Speaker 4: this nip.
- 20:18Speaker 2: On a steel company to buy us deal. We're going
- 20:21Speaker 2: to look into it. That's a big issue.
- 20:22Speaker 4: I think the administration needs to reject.
- 20:24Speaker 8: That deal and emphasize bringing manufacturing home. But does Bidenomics
- 20:30Speaker 8: itself work. I mean, if you ditch Bidenomics, it might
- 20:33Speaker 8: look like a failure on his big reelection initiative, but
- 20:37Speaker 8: it does to a lot of people seem out of touch.
- 20:39Speaker 8: Do you think he should stick with the Moniker Yes
- 20:41Speaker 8: or no?
- 20:43Speaker 2: Well, yeah, Bidenomics about bringing manufacturing back. I think most
- 20:46Speaker 2: people would agree about that.
- 20:47Speaker 5: Many dynamics is about increasing wages for the work class.
- 20:50Speaker 2: That doesn't mean you say everything is rosy. Obviously you
- 20:53Speaker 2: acknowledge interest rates are high, caused by the Fed. Obviously
- 20:57Speaker 2: you acknowledge that prices are.
- 20:59Speaker 8: High, Okay, so your team Bidenomics appreciate that. I want
- 21:02Speaker 8: to go quickly to this news in Colorado.
- 21:05Speaker 2: By the way, let's just stop there.
- 21:06Speaker 1: I love how he's like, oh, everything's too high, but
- 21:08Speaker 1: Bidenomics is somehow still working. Wait what well? I mean
- 21:13Speaker 1: it's still working? How is it still working?
- 21:17Speaker 2: Like? Are you kidding me?
- 21:18Speaker 1: I think we have to acknowledge that rents are high,
- 21:20Speaker 1: interest rates are high, food and gas prices are high,
- 21:22Speaker 1: but wages have also gone up in the President has
- 21:25Speaker 1: ushered in manufacturing revolution. We are now in a revolution,
- 21:29Speaker 1: he said. He is upshered in a manufacturing revolution to
- 21:34Speaker 1: bring back jobs.
- 21:35Speaker 2: When did that happen?
- 21:37Speaker 1: He said, I was encouraged by the Secretary saying, no,
- 21:41Speaker 1: we're not going to allow this Asian, this Chinese steel
- 21:44Speaker 1: company to buy a US steel We're going to look
- 21:46Speaker 1: into it.
- 21:47Speaker 2: That's a big issue.
- 21:49Speaker 1: That doesn't mean that you manufactured are ushered in a
- 21:53Speaker 1: manufacturing revolution to bring back jobs. By the way, I'm
- 21:57Speaker 1: all in favor of bringing back job. But you listen
- 22:00Speaker 1: to the host, they're asking, does Bidenomics itself work?
- 22:04Speaker 2: Quote? If you ditch.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Bidenomics, it might look like a failure on his reelection initiative,
- 22:09Speaker 1: but it does to a lot of people seem.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Out of touch. Do you think you should stick with it?
- 22:14Speaker 1: Monikers yes or no, con saying, well, yeah, Bidenomics about
- 22:18Speaker 1: bringing manufacturing back. Since when show me real and big
- 22:23Speaker 1: manufacturing that's coming back. I'd love to see it. I
- 22:27Speaker 1: don't see it. I don't believe you. The facts don't
- 22:30Speaker 1: back it up. The facts don't adequately back up any
- 22:33Speaker 1: of this. The idea that this is somehow working, I'm sorry.
- 22:39Speaker 1: The idea that Bidenomics isn't anything but a disaster. Not
- 22:42Speaker 1: because I say it. I want to be clear about that.
- 22:46Speaker 1: It is not because I say it. It's because that's
- 22:49Speaker 1: the reality of the situation, based on data, based on stats,
- 22:54Speaker 1: based on home prices, mortgage prices, interest rates, the list
- 22:57Speaker 1: goes on and on. It's based on all of that.
- 23:03Speaker 1: It's not based on politics or political ideology. Right that
- 23:09Speaker 1: it could be good for one and bad for another. Okay,
- 23:12Speaker 1: that's not the case at all. It's very clear. It
- 23:17Speaker 1: is abundantly clear that it is because.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Of a very simple thing.
- 23:25Speaker 1: He has put in policies and put in programs that
- 23:30Speaker 1: clearly do not work and have not worked. That is Bidenomics,
- 23:37Speaker 1: whether you want to admit it or not. That's what
- 23:41Speaker 1: Bidenomics is. That's what Bidenomics looks like. And the American
- 23:45Speaker 1: voter is smart enough to understand now that things cost more.
- 23:49Speaker 1: The American voters are smart enough to understand that the
- 23:52Speaker 1: prices are high, and the reason why prices are high
- 23:56Speaker 1: is because it is because of what I just mentioned.
- 24:00Speaker 1: When your policies are failure. And notice this, the Democratic
- 24:05Speaker 1: Party is refusing.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Okay, let's be very very very very very clear.
- 24:11Speaker 1: The Democratic Party is refusing to admit that their policy
- 24:16Speaker 1: is hurting Americans. And they'd rather stick by a slogan
- 24:21Speaker 1: than tell you the truth. They would rather stick by
- 24:24Speaker 1: Bionomics than admit that the policy isn't working and maybe
- 24:28Speaker 1: we should be doing something different.
- 24:31Speaker 2: That's how little they care about you and your family.
- 24:34Speaker 1: What we do know is the southern border has become
- 24:36Speaker 1: a real issue for the President of the United States
- 24:40Speaker 1: of America. The Texas border wide open, as the sectors
- 24:45Speaker 1: of the border have been shuttered their stations for catch
- 24:49Speaker 1: and release to take place because there's an overwhelming surge
- 24:53Speaker 1: of migrants crossing.
- 24:55Speaker 2: The Rio grand has forced the busiest.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Border sector in Texas to close border patrol statetions so
- 25:01Speaker 1: that the personnel that normally works there can be reassigned
- 25:05Speaker 1: to migrant processing and what they're referring to as transportation
- 25:10Speaker 1: duties chauffeurs for legal immigrants. According to a US Customs
- 25:16Speaker 1: and Border Protection source, the announcement came on Friday, hoping
- 25:20Speaker 1: that no one would notice, ordering managers to cease operations
- 25:24Speaker 1: at stations and Correzo Springs, Cumstock, Evalde, and Brackettville, Texas.
- 25:32Speaker 2: The move, they.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Say, will leave more than ten thousand square miles within
- 25:36Speaker 1: the sector without any border patrol presence. Let me say
- 25:39Speaker 1: that again, this move by the Biden administration will leave
- 25:45Speaker 1: more than ten thousand square miles ten thousand square miles
- 25:51Speaker 1: within those sectors without any border patrol presence at all.
- 25:56Speaker 1: In recent weeks, the Biden administration shuttered the Eagle Pass
- 26:00Speaker 1: bridge one port of entry and the railroad bridge linking
- 26:06Speaker 1: Eagle Pass to Mexico. What do they do? They reassigned
- 26:11Speaker 1: personnel to address the continuing migrant surge. The railroad line
- 26:17Speaker 1: was shut to slow the flow of migrants, as that
- 26:21Speaker 1: is the primary mode of transportation for the group of migrants.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Sometimes in the thousands to reach the US border for
- 26:27Speaker 2: the interior of Mexico.
- 26:29Speaker 1: The rail bridge reopened earlier Friday, signaling the flow of
- 26:33Speaker 1: migrants may continued unabated in the coming days.
- 26:37Speaker 2: The announcement on.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Friday also included instructions to some Border Patrol agents and
- 26:43Speaker 1: their managers that the holiday leave that was scheduled more
- 26:48Speaker 1: than a year in advance may be canceled for a
- 26:50Speaker 1: few employees that qualified. The sources said, as with previous
- 26:56Speaker 1: migrant surges in the area, the Department of Home in
- 26:58Speaker 1: Security has not put forth any solution to the massive
- 27:03Speaker 1: crossings and has left the Border Patrol to deal with
- 27:06Speaker 1: the monumental task of providing humanitarian care for thousands and
- 27:12Speaker 1: thousands that are arriving and breaking into this country illegally
- 27:15Speaker 1: every single day. Migrant crossings remain roughly two thousand per
- 27:23Speaker 1: day in the Del Rio sector alone. They peaked at
- 27:27Speaker 1: a new level last week, with those numbers at more
- 27:30Speaker 1: than four thousand illegal immigrants coming across in the Del
- 27:35Speaker 1: Rio sector in a twenty four hour period. Most of
- 27:40Speaker 1: the migrants being encountered at the Del Rio sector, where
- 27:43Speaker 1: four thousand people came across the border in a twenty
- 27:46Speaker 1: four hour period are coming from Venezuela, Honduras, Colombia. According
- 27:52Speaker 1: to local sources, most of them arrive at the border
- 27:56Speaker 1: city on freight trains and immediately cross the Rio Grande
- 28:02Speaker 1: into the neighboring city of Eagle Pass.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Once they're there, there are problem.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Law enforcement and military authorities on both sides of the
- 28:10Speaker 1: border have remained powerless to slow the stop of the
- 28:13Speaker 1: crossings because the United States government and our president is
- 28:17Speaker 1: refusing to give them what they need to protect and
- 28:21Speaker 1: defend themselves. So to be clear, this is a process
- 28:27Speaker 1: that we're talking about right now that is avoidable. This
- 28:31Speaker 1: is a process that not only is avoidable, this is
- 28:35Speaker 1: a scenario that could be stopped with a simple change
- 28:39Speaker 1: in policy, a simple change in policy that would take
- 28:43Speaker 1: hours to begin to implement, hours nowadays hours. And we
- 28:49Speaker 1: have a president of the United States of America who
- 28:52Speaker 1: has come out and made it very clear, I'm not
- 28:54Speaker 1: changing a damn thing. I'm not doing anything differently, I'm
- 28:59Speaker 1: not doing anything to stop this. This is all being
- 29:02Speaker 1: done by design, and that's part of what you need
- 29:05Speaker 1: to understand.
- 29:05Speaker 2: This is all being done by design.
